The food was good. The service was OK. The prices were pretty good! They had a healthy pour of wine. You can see in a video post that we did have a concern regarding flying pests. “I let the manager on duty know about pests that were flying around our table. We were not located near the door . Or were we outside. Yuck! It was after I had finished my wine, but all of the gnats congregated so that you can see just how many insects were buzzing around our table. There should be a fan preventing flying insects from coming indoors, especially in a food location.” We did not try the dessert. The meals were filling! Didn’t have room. The bread was OK… Not the best. But it was fresh. We did make a reservation, but it really wasn’t needed.

First timer here but my husband and I were quite pleased with everything this place had to offer. The food was great! Services was exceptional. And the atmosphere was calming! We will definitely come back again! Best vodka sauce ever!!! And give the thin mint drink a try it was my fave! Well worth the hour drive for us!!!

Absolutely the best restaurant in town! From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like family. The food is beyond delicious — every bite feels homemade with love. The portions are super generous (come hungry!), and the service is truly top-notch — warm, attentive, and professional. But what really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. It’s like being transported straight to a cozy corner in Italy or France. The lighting, music, and decor create such a magical vibe — you almost forget you’re still in our city. Pulling in we had no idea they added a new section with huge retractable glass walls and ceilings. During a pleasant Sept evening the fresh air and ambiance was amazing! Truly impressed. Felt like a NYC restaurant in the heart of Scranton. Bread portions are huge!!!! We ordered Gluten free penne with vodka sauce, linguine with clams, chicken francese and a chicken breast special stuffed with eggplant, mozz and spinach. Everyone enjoyed their meal with no complaints. Great place! Will be back for sure next time visiting our son at college.

My bf is fully Italian and this is one of his favorite places to eat, and now mine too! We have been coming here for a while now and it doesn't matter what you order, everything is delicious. We always take some home for our mom plus more meals for later haha. We come here with the mentality of "make me angry, I dare you" because nothing has disappointed yet with the food! The drinks are tasty but basic, nothing super fancy with their cocktails. This last time I tried their lobster ravioli in vodka sauce and my bf always gets pasta with white clams sauce, we split the short rib special with demi glaze and just wow on the flavors. Dessert is also awesome with light and fluffy tiramasus to fruity bombs! Went back in juse 2025 and had their osembuco and egg battered fish in lemon sauce as well as other apps. Delicious as usual! Our motto coming here is now "make us mad" because we have never ordered something that disappointed us here!

Nestled in Scranton, the restaurant beckons with its beautiful outdoor ambiance. Twinkling lights, cozy al fresco seating, and the soft murmur of diners create the illusion of an evening in Tuscany. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger over a long meal with a glass of wine in hand. But like a beautifully wrapped gift that disappoints when opened, Casa Bella hides mediocrity behind a veil of elegance. Let’s start with the salad—crisp greens dressed with a house vinaigrette that was, frankly, the high point of the meal. A promising start that raised expectations. Unfortunately, what followed was a slow descent. The linguini with white clam sauce arrived with fanfare… and a flood of butter and oil. The clams played second fiddle to a dish that was swimming—not in the ocean, but in its own oily excess. The pasta? Limp and uninspired, lacking the al dente bite that any self-respecting Italian joint should master in its sleep. Then came the chicken parm, that classic red-sauce staple. But a simple request—hold the red sauce and swap out the pasta—was met with a hard “no.” And when the plate arrived, it was topped with two sad slices of square cheese—the kind you buy in a plastic-wrapped package at the grocery store. Less “parmigiana,” more cafeteria déjà vu. Service was… fine. Not warm, not cold, just present. And that word—fine—keeps returning. Fine salad. Fine service. Fine atmosphere. But when you’re promised fine dining, “fine” just doesn’t cut it. The white tablecloths may be crisp, the lighting flattering, but beneath it all, Casa Bella is putting lipstick on a pig. It’s a dressed-up dive, trying to pass as something it’s not—more illusion than experience, more sizzle than steak. Would I return? Perhaps—for a glass of wine on the patio and that house salad. But for a meal to remember? I’ll be heading elsewhere.

The food was delicious, I can’t praise it enough. My only complaint is the complimentary bread was slightly dry. We had the a Caprese salad appetizer, then a starter salad, a grilled roughy fish with white wine lemon sauce, and the gnocchi for entres. For dessert we had the seasonal pumpkin pie martini, cheesecake with vanilla sauce, and a slice of chocolate mousse pie, and coffees. Everything served to us was wonderful. The staff were slow at times but very kind in the very busy restaurant. We were seated in a quieter section, the place was decorated well. It was noted that the other dining section was louder and very lively. Most of the walls looked to be glass in that section. Putting acoustic panels in accented areas could help if it’s ever too much. The host Sammy who we assumed by the business cards an owner, was very gracious, and kind in seating and finding space for guests. It was a lovely experience I hope to come back soon

A true treat to have eaten here! The food was absolutely incredibly, so much so that we decided to get dessert. We ordered several plates to share and the best one had to be the whipped ricotta and the Bronx Boxer pizza. The pistachio gelato was AMAZING. The staff were attentive, very nice and the entire restaurant had a very elevated vibe. I will definitely come back again when I’m in back in town!!

My family was passing through Scranton and after a day on the road, pizza was much needed for sustenance. Bar Pazzo was the right choice for our meal. Located in downtown Scranton, the welcoming and friendly staff took our orders and promptly, all four of us had our pies. Pictured here is a classic pepperoni pizza called the Scrantonian with plenty of salty spice from the meat, balanced well with cheese, stand-out sauce and perfectly charred on top. The secret star of this pie was fresh Oregano, not sprinkled on top as is the usual presentation but purposely placed under the cheese so that the flavor was allowed to build in the oven's heat. I was impressed by the two large wood-fired ovens that were putting in work that night, and I look forward to another stop here in the future.

One of the best places in Scranton. One of our favorites. The Honey Whipped Ricotta is truly unbelievable. A sweet and savory combination you will love. All unique combination Wood Fired Pizzas that will have you wanting to come back and try them all. Great friendly staff and service overall every time. I come here about once a month with my boyfriend for date night, the pizzas are to die for! Its some of the closest pizza to New Jersey style that we can find. The cocktails are alright, just make sure you know what you are ordering because sometimes the bartender doesn't understand. We always get 3 pizzas, the duck wings, the whipped ricotta, and the chefs board. Its all delicious!

Wow!!! My husband and I recently moved to Scranton and we were looking for a local restaurant to give our business to. We came across this place and I’m thrilled that we did!!! Every staff member who walked past our table asked if we were doing okay or if we needed anything. They were all so friendly!! We decided to eat out back since it’s a gorgeous Spring day. I was expecting to sit there and swat bugs away but nope, the “ceiling” is screened with pretty lights shimmering above. The atmosphere was fun. The food…the presentation was amazing and the taste was even better!!! We will definitely be regulars and will bring our family when they visit town!!!

We had an amazing experience here on a Saturday afternoon, family of 5 and two small pups that like to bark occasionally…..they welcomed us with open arms, even though our young pups were misbehaving a bit the waitress made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. We were able to order two plain pieces of grilled chicken for the dogs which was great. The food was delicious, I think that we ordered too much food, but my tacos and Mac and cheese were delicious along with a perfect margarita. My son is so picky, he only eats fries cooked perfectly of course and devoured them! My older daughters loved the jukebox app they have available to purchase and play music. We will be back! Food and Drink are excellent here and are the sustenance to our life here on earth. Sandwiches in particular plus the smoked meats make it a must visit if you want real food and what is Scranton. This is where they held the Office reunion years ago. Burgers, brisket sandwich, chicken philly and even the salsa are top notch, high quality, and most importantly very tasty. Beer selection.,.. taps are great and their canned/bottle selection takes it up a notch. Also, they are only closed on Tuesdays so you always have a place to eat even if you arrive on a Sunday. Lastly, Wednesday is wings night and the smoked wings are a must have.

We came here with our parents since this place has a decently diverse menu that can suit different diets and preferences. They told us to seat ourselves, and it didn't take long for our server to come and take our drink order. That was the end of the good service though. Our server never left the room but only checked on us two other times (during 2.5 hours), each time after we had successfully flagged down another server. We are not in the habit of flagging people down, but each time we had been in need of service for over 20 minutes. Part way through our visit, someone started live music and it was SO LOUD. We were seated on the back porch (a lovely spot short of all the flies), and the music made it so that even while yelling we could not have a conversation. My mom eventually went to the bar (our server was MIA) and asked if they could turn it down and was told "we can try, but people are here to listen to him". Lastly, I ordered the mac n cheese with pulled pork. This happens to be one of my favourite meals, and I have eaten it in tons of restaurants across the States. For some reason, they mixed their BBQ sauce with the cheese sauce, and mixed in the pork, so it was more like a baked ziti (but with rotini). It wasn't bad, but it did not taste like Mac n cheese at all.

We stopped in for a drink because most of the bars downtown were closed. The mackenzie's black cherry cider is out of this world, as are the french fries with chili and cheese. We had already had dinner, but I would have loved to have tried their barbecue because the smell was incredible.

If I could give 0 stars to our horrible experience just minutes ago, I would! I can only assume that the reason our party of 5 were not given the stellar service others experienced in their reviews… is the obvious reason, the color of our skin. We were a happy & hungry group of 5. There were no other patrons of color while we were there. Our server Jeff, who we sadly learned was also the manager, took 10 minutes to come to the table, without a hello, he immediately asked what we wanted to drink, then rushed us through our orders, interrupting our congenial questions about the dishes several times with “do you need me to give you five minutes” instead of providing us encouraging details on the menu items we were interested in, as you would with first -time patrons. He literally sneered and stomped off shaking his head as he snatched up a glass of orange juice from the table after the customer said quietly that she didn’t realized it would be served with ice. He returned to the table with a 1/2 filled glass of OJ, slammed it down and shoved it in her direction and stalked off. We asked another server for a manager. She was obviously scared and did not want to be involved. Unfortunately, Jeff came over saying confrontationally that he was told we wanted to speak to a manager, and that he’s the only manager. We said not you please, sir you’re very rude. His shocking come-back was “well I’m just matching energy.” We felt so disrespected and upset. To add insult, the food came out literally as he said this so at the still shocked look on our faces he sneered “so what’s wrong with this? Tell me.” Yet we hadn’t said a word. At that point one of our party said he’d had enough and left the table. Instead of trying to salvage the situation, Jeff hustled away, throwing over his shoulder “oh well you all have a good evening!” as the rest of us got up to leave and he ran off to hide in the kitchen. This is disheartening to experience especially in the company of young people who are still shaping the way they see and respond to this world. Shame on Jeff. It will also be a shame if the owners of this establishment do not speak to him about his rascist treatment and prejudiced behavior.

Enjoyed my time here. Was a little rough when I arrived, and didn’t know where to sit or order, as they only had two folks working the floor - which I think is unfair to them, as once they acknowledged, and were able to tend to us, they were very pleasant and on it! The food was great! Really enjoyed the vegetarian options in the tacos, and the chicken sandwich was a hit (it was recommended)! You’ve your staple drafts and a respectable choice of spirits. Really casual vibe and the music was palatable. So, just to note: 1) there is additional seating in the back! 2) Perhaps better scheduling of staff, as the two lovely ladies that helped us were great - but overwhelmed. And it makes sense, the place was fairly full. Will return!

Very bad experience with an unbelievable price! 👎🏻 I’m afraid I must have gone to “the other” Alfredo’s Pizza, because this was not good pizza at all. 😅 The pizza was bland — absolutely no flavor. You can’t just throw everything into the center and hope for the best. There needs to be some thought behind it. For example, when someone asks for peppers on their pizza, they’d probably like to taste the other ingredients too. I have no idea what kind of artificial cheese they’re using, but I sincerely hope I never taste anything like that again. The pepperoni was cheap and flavorless, even when tried on its own. Honestly, every gas station I’ve been to serves better pizza than this. 🍕 And when I was done, the waiter asked, “Do you want a box for the rest of the pizza?” I said yes — and then had to put it in the box myself. No tip after an experience like that. 🫣

This was our first time up here. We heard about this establishment from “The Office” as many other reviewers have too. We ordered their speciality pan pizza, they use cheddar cheese it is a local PA delicacy just wasn’t our thing. We ordered the round pizza and that was better, pretty greasy but better. The best thing I had was the tiramisu, that I can say was some of the best I’ve had. Only issue I had staff wise was I was never asked for a drink refill, and the stand where they check in orders was right behind me like if I leaned back too far I’d be bumped into. I did see the owners while I was there and they seem pretty friendly. There is office merch of course a bit over priced I think $43 for a sweatshirt but each to their own.

First time experience. We went in for the nostalgia, left big fans of the pizza. We went in for a slice and regretted not getting a whole pie. They went above expectations. "The Office" tv show may have boost their popularity, but their pizza is what keeps them in business!!!!

Delicious pizza. Actually the best pizza I’ve had. It took super long to get to us, like 45 minutes of waiting for 3 pizzas, but in the end it was worth the wait. Unfortunately I didn’t see Micheal Scott and the crew, but still would go again for “The Good Pizza.”

Great place to have the typical American pizza. Not the best pizzas but always with plenty of cheese and heavy dough. The drinks were a bit too small. Awesome service I must say. We wondered how "Pizza by Alfredo" would have been...

Had to try it, because of the Office! Had a half sheet of the deep dish and it was great! The crust was perfectly crispy and the cheese was a blend of white American and mozzarella, which actually made the cheese creamy! Very unique, I've never had a pizza with cheese like that before! The service was amazing. Our server made the recommendations to us. She told us she was raised here and made a recommendation based on her local experience! After eating, we returned to our hotel and asked them for the best pizza in the area and they made the recommendation of Alfredos!

This old-style American diner truly delivers on all fronts. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a clean environment and the inviting aroma of delicious food. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service that makes you feel right at home. Every dish we tried was fantastic, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. To top it all off, the prices are incredibly reasonable, offering fantastic value for such a wonderful experience. If you're looking for a classic diner experience with great food, friendly faces, and good prices, Glider Diner is the place to be!

The look of the diner was great and the aesthetic is wonderful on the outside and the side we sat on considering we didn’t eat on the other side. We waited awhile for a table and to be seated/ get our menus considering it didn’t pick up until half way through our meal. The food was overall good for a diner but they didn’t have tomato soup for my grilled cheese and didn’t know that until the food was at our table.

One of our favorite stops when visiting Scranton. Great diner fare with some awesome polish dishes like potato pancakes with applesauce or sour cream and Italian dishes like Prochetta. They also have vegetarian options like the Beyond Burger. We try to get to the Glider at least once a year.

I went here with my homeboys and my grandson. Almost died walking in. A chunk of the the celing fell on my head and i passed out. Apart from that the food was good. I got warm cat food and cold femur bones for my lunch. My grandson got the good boy meal and my hb’s got the burgers. There was a wild vulture sitting at my table and a live salmon in my cat food. If I were to recommend this to anybody i would recommend it to Dave down at the bar. I’ve been close with dave since he is my bartender and we might be more than friends. Always great food! Had Texas cheeseburgers fries. Rich had a hot roast beef. Two great staples of this restaurant. Amy was wonderful. She has worked there over 30 years! She started as a teenager, and now she is a grandmother!! Now that's dedication!

Normally I get the hot roast beef dinner which is so darn good, but today I got the fish and chips they were really good also! We get take away often too and our food is always packed great to carry and the staff is always very friendly! Went today for breakfast and as usual it was great! Got the pot roast today, it’s not on the menu but every time I’m there and I see it as a special I will get it, it was amazing!

I went this place a few times, no issues. Today, I ordered take out again. When I got to my front door, my bag of food quickly soaked through with sauce before ripping. Opening what was left of it, I saw a MASSIVE SLIT in the plastic curry container, which led to it spilling all over my front door. When I called them up, they said it must’ve “happened during travel”. Yeah, right. Next they told me it was “sealed tightly” and the hole was there “for air”. So which is it? Did you put a hole in the container “for air”, or did it happen “during travel”? They then said “there’s nothing we can do” and blamed me for it. Not to mention, NONE of the other curry dishes I got from this place had a hole of any kind in the container. NOTHING happened to the bag or container on the ride home. It had to be on their end. I am never going back there again. They just lost a customer.

The food was fine but the staff was very rude. We entered and were totally neglected and then sat down but no one came to ask and when we were ordering, didn’t even listen properly! And when we asked about bubble tea, same. She was smiling with other costumes but we felt like with us it was totally off.

We got the Shrimp Pad Thai, Yellow Chicken Curry, some Curry Puffs and Thai iced teas. To start, UHM $10 for 3 Curry Puffs; never again thanks! And they changed their fillings within the last 6 months. They tasted so different from the old ones we got just last year when we went almost weekly. The yellow Chicken Curry is still amazing, the Pad Thai was just good, better than the other Thai places close to Scranton. Probably won't be eating here again due to paying $20 for 6 small pastry filled puffs but if you want delicious Curry? Then stop by. Edit: saw some reviews from 4 and 5 months ago with 4 of the bigger, way more delicious Puffs, going to genuinely miss them. They were super unique and honestly mouth watering delicious.

I was hungry and stumbled across this restaurant. I called in my order of the shrimp and vegetables. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and it was take out only. My food was ready and the lady took my payment. When I asked for a specific receipt her attitude shifted. I don't know what that was about. I got my receipt and food and asked if I could use the restroom and not so happy she pointed me to it. The restroom wasn't the cleanest, lets just leave it like that. I did however like the flavor of the food but it was in too much watery sauce that spilled everywhere. I give this place 3 stars only because the food had good flavor.

I order the chiefs pad Thai, immediately when the food arrived I noticed an ammonia smell coming from it with my experience with food means there is spoiled meat in the dish I told them it smelled funny they told me it was the sauce. I am no fool, I didn't feel like arguing more so I got it to go & threw it away. A shame it did look good.

They are open to seat a limited number of people; it's better to order ahead for carry out.

Keep in mind their specialty hot dog (Texas Weiner) sandwich is pretty small. It's a hotdog sliced and placed on the bun. Very tasty. I ate two and that was filling. Onion rings are good with a large portion. Great decorated dining room. Service was prompt.

I am sitting in this place right now and I am both in heaven and bummed that I have never been here before! The food is so good! My mom told me that they have the best fries and she wasn't kidding! My first bite made me close my eyes and transported me to a boardwalk in the past for a few moments. The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is perfect. I love the drawings of local celebrities(I think) on the walls, as well as older pictures of Scranton. Definitely check out this place!

I’m from Texas and had a craving for a chili dog so I picked this place. Not disappointed. Choose the foot long dog with nacho cheese and spicy mustard 👍🏻. Garlic truffle fries were also a good choice for me. They have many others I would go back and try. Got a cotton candy milkshake to go. I would definitely come back again

First time here, really enjoyed the dogs. Slicing the dogs in half I'm not accustom too but did not affect the taste of the dogs. my Texas Weiner had a soft steamed bun, the chili had a good taste without being over spiced. My service was excellent, spoke to the main guy who cooked the dogs, I was told there celebrating 100 years of serving their style of hot dogs. Here's to another great 100 years!

Good place for a quick bite while exploring town. French fries, texas winers, soda are on the menu. Restaurant is clean, the servers are friendly and food is pretty good. 3 people meal around $30.

Friendly owner greetings at entrance. Place is immaculate. Bathrooms were clean and tidy. They sell Coke products, a plus. Beer batter onion rings were pretty good, got the chili large dog. No slaw on the dogs 🐕, 😢 they don't have it. French fries are mashed potatoes shoestring fries 🍟. Parking is on the street. Hopefully they will add crinkle fries 🍟 and coleslaw to the menu so I could change my review to a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Pistachio milkshake is flavored, if Id of know I'd had a chocolate or vanilla. But all in all the waitresses were very helpful and traded the fries to a cup of soup. So there are several cartoon pictures on the walls of locals that enjoy eating here. The pictures were created at the local newspaper, the locals sent their pictures to and are created, Neet idea 💡. Can you find the picture of the couple visiting today on the wall?

Good food, old town atmosphere and pleasant place to take friends and family. Garlic truffle fries were awesome. Be aware parking can be very challenging depending on time of day you visit.

If I could give 6 stars i would, the waitresses, the atmosphere is stunning with all the old wood, food was cheap but they loaded you up. Incredible experience would definitely recommend to anyone. I got the crab grilled cheese and the vanilla bean cornbread. Loved it

I love this place so much! The food is so fresh, the workers are friendly and inviting! I had an Asian salad with shrimp and it was so fresh and crisp. Perfect blend of flavors! I can’t wait to get another one!

Love the food here. So good and different. Asian salad, I would get chicken next time though because the steak was a bit chewy but salad is amazing overall. Thai chicken wrap. The Mac and cheese and burgers look amazing I want to try that next.

I’d give 10 stars if I could the food at Market Street is mouth watering. Everything homemade, menu is always looking a little different every now and then but when something good leaves the menu something better comes on. I had a crab grilled cheese and asked for my Mac and cheese to have a Buffalo flavor to it, to put it lightly the meal was better than the pictures look. The staff is always going above and beyond to make the meal enjoyable. Do yourself a favor go here hungry you won’t be disappointed

Cozy bar to enjoy tasty food and drinks of a good place to have a meal with a small group of family/friends. I recommend reservations for 3 or more. Smoked wings are excellent. The brisket quesadilla is very very good. Overall this place has great service, great food and is worth a visit. It can be crammed and food can take some time…so be prepared to sit down, sip your drink and enjoy the company that you choose to visit with.

Went for lunch, this is a hidden gem in North Scranton on West Market Street. Menu options are way beyond standard pub fair, served hot with little wait, seated right away, very friendly server, all in all a great experience and a definite for a return trip

Great food in a great setting. This place has a great vibe. Oversized window seats frame out the front of restaurant. Tables are spaced out well with plenty of room. Great place to grab breakfast or lunch. The staff was attentive to all your needs. Look forward to going back!!🙏

I've been here 4-5 times Breakfast is amazing, I didn't care for their famous tuna salad when I had it last year. Pretty tasty latte My daughter was disappointed with the avocado toast having raw spinach rather than sautéed. The cheese grits I had were amazing, we also shared a brie croissant that was so, so goooooood

Alicia was the BEST server...so attentive, bright smile, great attitude. there was only one chef on today because the other is on vacation so they did a limited menu ... but my meal was the best thing I've had the whole time I have been back east. so simple...clean flavors... delicious!!! I got the Riley's sunrise pita.. it was seriously so so good. so simple, but the flavors just worked! then my hubby and I had to split the Poppy... same! phenomenal... the flavors seemed like the might be odd but it just WORKED. kind of a nod to brie and jam - but also with the egg and avocado?! insanely good and the ambiance is just so inviting!!!! highly recommend breakfast here!!!

Excellent Food and service. The salad dishes are huge! The Vibes is so smooth and laid back. Feels as if you are in Europe. Breakfast is 8 am to 11 am. It closed at 2 pm. Absolutely a must do.

Wow. Great breakfast and coffee shop hands down. Nice and busy hard working staff. Definitely warm and old school feeling. The pictures say it all. The Homemade Corn Fritters, with the cinnamon brown sugar butter is highly recommended. @FoodsOfAFeather

Always a full house. Very accommodating and welcoming staff. Never disappoints. Always love their food. Never tire of their hummus on a pita with Greek salad. Delicious.

I have always loved going here & the food is great. Today’s lunch experience was terrible. Our order was not placed by the young man who stepped in to take it. We waited over 40 minutes for turkey sandwiches & then he put a muffin on our table (there were 2 of us) & said “Pick on this while you wait.” When the bill came, the muffin was included on it! Our original server who was a sweet girl, told us she was very sorry for the oversight that she wasn’t told we about this. She was kind enough to refund us for the cost of the muffin, and the young man overheard us speaking to each other. He then said “let’s talk about this outside.” When I asked him why he never put our order in he told me that they were just really busy and that we should understand when things like this happen. I told him that we should’ve been given an apology and he told us that we were “bringing bad energy to him.” I’ve never had an experience like this at a restaurant in my life. And I won’t be returning anytime soon even though the food was good & and the rest of the staff were very kind. I think management should have a conversation with him about the way he treats customers. He brought bad energy to us today!

The staff is nice, and this place is hopping. Be prepared to eat pizza made with Velveeta cheese; not mozzarella. We ate one slice because we were starving and ended up ordering steak and cheese hoagies instead. The cheese was, you guessed it…Velveeta! The “Italian food is now made with Velveeta” phenomenon of Pennsylvania and upstate New York is really bizarre.

This is the best pizza we've had in PA yet! *note before you go, they are CASH only.* We ordered the square "special", minus the anchovies, mushrooms and olives ($17). As a family with 2 adults and 2 kids this was more than enough pizza. We only ate half of it! The pizza was cooked perfectly, the cheese was real cheese (not plastic nastiness), the sausage was house made, and the pepperoni was thick and delicious. The server, who quite possibly is the owner, was very kind and explained everything to us after asking if it was our first visit. The pizza order it's self took a long time to come out. However, they make each pizza to order. The only negative I could possibly come up with about this place is it could use a good cleaning. The walls and table cloths are dirty. But I wont even knock a star over this.

Wow went inside to eat. First time there. Phone rang non stop. People came in non stop. It was 4 in afternoon. Had italian hoagie cooked in oven so good. We also had round pizza different but so good. Prices are very good. Nice lady working had everything under control. Phones, tables, birthday party, register. Hard workers there.

I'm used to NYC pizza this is different. Instead of slices you get cuts which are smaller. The cuts are from a square pie. I wasn't aware of the difference. Also it tastes like they bake the crust 1st then put it back in the oven with the sauce & cheese.

You either love it or you hate it..... I love it. I live in Wisconsin but the family is from Scranton so this is a must when visiting. Not your normal Pizza and it's hard to describe except that it's very gooey cheese almost as though it's mixed with American. But it works and it works well if you like it. But if you're expecting a traditional Pizza then this might not be your cup of tea. They are always busy so they must be doing something right!

I did not enjoy their pizza. The crust was thick and hard, not light and fluffy. The cheese was greasy and creamy, like some kind of nasty cheese sauce. Over all the pie had a tangy taste that at first made me think the toppings where spoiled. I think it might have been the sauce though. We ordered 2 pizzas from this place for our supper ate one just because we where hungry and thew the other one away. I understand that different people have different taste preferences, but myself and my family found this food quite displeasing. We will not order from there again. It might have been the worst pizza I have ever eaten.

Amazing pizza! We got both mozzarella and (what they call) their "other" cheese. The "other" cheese is excellent! It is almost like a creamy spaghetti sauce mixed with cheese. Definitely try it! We will go back and try a hoagie next time. The building is definitely old and can use some updating but it brings you back to the good old days. It was a Friday night and it was crazy busy which made the wait time from when we walked in to when we got our pizza about 45 minutes so be prepared to wait if you go on a weekend but it is worth the wait. Plenty of seating. They get a ton of to-go orders. They don't deliver and they only accept cash. The parking situation is not great as they only have 3 dedicated spots in front but you can usually find a spot on the street close by. Prices are great for the quality of the food you get. We will definitely return for the great food!

Place was warm but other than that amazing. Pizza tastes great the lady that helped us was a delight!!! Give her a raise she deserves it! She even helped us locate a park in the town was a delightful experience. Good job

While driving the area sampling many different pizzerias 🍕 looking to find the best around, I walk into Buona Pizza and the atmosphere is rather dark with a few arcade games 🕹 up near the entrance. Tables along the aisle as you walk up to the counter. I ordered 2 slices of pepperoni ($7), which were very crispy and greasy. A little too much of both for my taste.

Let’s start with the positives: it wasn’t busy; it’s centrally located in the heart of Scranton, PA; price point is reasonable; and, was able to turn order around quickly. Negatives: the vibe was low key unwelcoming; and, the pizza itself was flavourless, unnecessarily greasy and cardboard like.

Everything about this place is fantastic. When you walk in you’re greeted with the smell of fresh snow and it reminds me of growing up and visiting my grandmother who lived above a bakery in the Bronx. Guys that work there are perfect gentlemen and the pizza is out of this world best around

Stopped by while driving through Scranton, the gentlemen making the pizza were really friendly and courteous. Ordered a sausage pepperoni and onion pizza, and watched them make it in front of us; delicious!

I was in the mood for more pizza, so I came to this pizzeria because it had good reviews. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and went to the counter and ordered a slice with extra cheese. It came to about $4. When I dug in, the pizza was ok. All in all, I had an ok experience!

Nice and fresh pizza being made in front of your eyes. staff always smiling. Being a vegetarian, I ordered the veggie pizza. It was very fresh and all the ingredients were also very fresh. Overall five-star.

The food was good and the service was amazing! It has more of a banquet style feel with large room with open seating and a limited menu especially for desserts. The staff was truly amazing everyone was so nice and several people waited on us we never had a want for anything. Our 3 year old can be difficult and staff was so warm and welcome to him. I had the tuna which was a bit dry for me. Matthew had the best meal their Alfredo sauce is spot on!

I went for dinner the night of my graduation in May near closing time with a party of 7, and yet we were all still welcomed in and received amazing service. The staff, and the owner especially, were so lovely and so kind, and they definitely made this experience so memorable that I remembered to come back to write this review 3 months later! The soups, pasta, and brownies were definitely my favorites. I would surely go back if I’m ever in Scranton again.

Ordered takeout of open face roast beef entrees from their online menu. When I went to pick it up, I was told a price that was very different from what I had seen. I was then informed after I already picked up the order that they no longer serve the open face roast beef and was given the price of the regular roast beef entree instead. Food was cold and wrong when I got it home. The staff were very kind in correcting this issue and though i am not sure I’d go back on my own again, I think the staff makes this place and would come back if invited.

We having Mother’s Day dinner at Stirnas restaurant. We meet the owner and she told us the history of this place. Stuff was friendly and food was delicious. Definitely going back there when I’m in Scranton area. Thank You !!!

We love going here especially sitting at high top tables in the bar area. Food is good quality great crab bisque soup fabulous strawberry salad and never miss the whiskey Sours famous for 75 years

Excellent experience overall. Husband had Chicken Parmigiano. I had 12 oz NY Strip with herb garlic butter, cup of crab bisque, carrots and mashed potatoes with gravy. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The crab bisque was the creamiest I've ever had and there was no shortage of crab in it. Definitely will be back.

Great spot, bar area with tables, adjacent room has tables, great for corporate parties, baby showers, they type of thing. Street parking and adjacent lot. Great staff.

Besides the food being dry with no flavor. My chicken cheesesteak came with a BUG riding on my bread which I thought was pepper but it had legs so definitely not a pepper flake . My coworkers ordered hoagies and they said it was not good and dry as well. Would not eat from here ever again. Terrible food . Waste of money.

Ordered hoagies tonight. I don't know what happened, but my husband ordered sausage and peppers w/extra peppers. He received the attached image; barely any sausage and hardly any peppers. He called and was very nice about it. They told him to come back or they'd credit him. He went back expecting a remade sandwich, even smiling and telling them it was ok. They took his old sandwich, threw ice cold peppers on it and gave it back to him. He didn't realize it wasn't a new sandwich until he got home and saw the same sandwich with refrigerator cold peppers on it. It's pretty terrible if that's your customer service. I don't think we'll ordering from there again.

I ordered two large pizzas and wings for take out. When I got home and opened the pizza I couldn't believe my eyes! The pizzas looked better than any ad on TV or print for any restaurant. This wasn't just pizza perfection but pure artistry. The taste, the flavor, the crust were phenomenal!

Being a total Office fan, I had to get pizza in Scranton! The pizza here is delicious. I'm talking cheese so stringy and tasty! The sauce is sweet in the best way. I ordered the white pizza and it was perfect! Hubby ordered banana peppers and bacon which he totally enjoyed. I really enjoyed the old school Italian vibes going on with the decor and wall hangings. They also have a game room which was a bonus. Bathrooms where clean and handicapped accessible. We ordered to go but plan on bringing the family back! Keep up the wonderful job. I'm getting hungry just writing this! 🍕

Great pizza shop. I like going there. They are always so friendly and the restaurant is so nice, clean and interesting. I decided to give an Old Forge a try today. It was fine but they have other pizzas there that I prefer. I will be back but will probably just get a Super Cooper or regular pie.

I ordered a chicken parm dinner. The meal was unexpectedly very good! The service was excellent. We had a very large group. The staff was very accommodating and hospitable. It was an enjoyable experience all around!

GOT OVER CHARGED FOR 2 ITEMS ON TOP OF IT. So I decided to go to this Wendy's and it took me over 45 mins total. To get checked out and also waited on I spent over $55 on my entire order for my family and I. Restaurant was completely disgusting with no clean tables. The soda and condiment stand was completely empty of small lids and no forks there was barely any napkins. Worst of all they screwed up my daughters order which I paid for. Then on top of that I waited for bags to take my food home. Never got them. Then I wanted to speak to the manager and all I got was, "what do you want me to do about it." And sorry. I thought was absolutely pathetic. So here are some of my items I order just got home and opened my food to this. That was supposed to be my baked potatoe with cheese and bacon asked for chives and sour cream and butter and never got it . Second picture jr bacon cheeseburger. Fries were supposed to be a medium and this is what I got. Next also asked for sweet and sour sauce and got ranch which I never wanted. 4 piece nugget I got 3 Pieces. Welcome to my dinner and I promise you this. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. DONT GO THERE AND WASTE YOUR MONEY. BY THE WAY HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. CALLING CORPORATE TOMORROW.

The food was good. I personally saw an oversized black gentleman Who had a wendy's uniform on.Sit down at one of the tables with an orange drink in his hand smoking marijuana through a vaporizer. Be careful if you bring your kids to this restaurant.

Came here for food at 9:50 pm to find the doors locked with multiple familes still inside dining. A customer had let me inside only for the lady behind the counter to yell at me to get out, she wasnt servicing me, stating they are closed, as she was serving a customer inside the restaurant their food! Then proceeded to tell off the customer who let me in. They close at 12 pm. Not professional and very rude staff.

Always a line at the drive thru no matter the time of day . Tonight , I went at 7:00 , a few people ahead of me , waited a 20 minutes, got my order , brought it home , my bad for not checking it , wrong order and the fries were not even a quarter filled for a large fry . Come on wendys you have to do better.

One of the nicer Wendy's I've been to. The sign is old, but the interior is modern and they keep it nice and clean. All the food was fresh. I think the cashier was still in training, but she was still professional and nice.

Other than a long drive thru line infrequently they are great! The food is always hot and fresh everytime we go thru. And the employees are awesome and polite.

Only tried their pizza and wings twice, so I can only rate the food and not the service or atmosphere. I used Door Dash both times and was amazed by the way my “work of art” - the American Cheesy pizza! Take note of char spots on the cheese. It added flavor and crispness to a lovely cheese and sauce combination. My only regret is I did not experience it there. Look forward to my first visit in person. If you take a look at the photo with my complete take out order - pizza, wings and the fried ravioli it all tasted wonderful and complimented each other. Now, back to the American Cheesy, since the cheese would run down the wall if I hung it up, need to print out one of these photos for the foodie wall! This pizza definitely stands out amongst others and is worthy of a try! Definitely recommend their food and of course the American Cheesy even though they have so many great offerings.

Since moving to Taylor, our goal is to eat through all the pizza places in the area. We have now returned here twice in a row. The 12 cut square best in the area that’s coming from a Philly snob.

Love the video game vibes at Pepper's. I couldn't wait to try the Taco Pizza because the description was amazing. It wasn't what I expected. It was SO MUCH BETTER. There was so much flavor and so much pizza. The folks at the shop were outgoing and friendly as well. I won't mind going a little out of my way for Pepper's pizza.

The food was good. I got the stuffed cheese-steak pizza. Im only leaving a somewhat low review because there was a long hair baked into one of the slices. Accidents happen. I just suggest making sure the crew are wearing hair nets going forward.

Food is decent, but service kinda stinks. We had a pretty large order (12 people) where 1 family members order was missing. We weren't mad, it happens, called to ask for a refund on the 1 item. They said they don't do that and we had to drive all the way back to the restaurant to get the missing food. They were not even sorry and acted annoyed at our phone call. We probably won't go back.

The food was good, but we were charged more than the price listed on the menu. When we checked on their website, the prices were different from their menu, and different from what they charged us. Our office will NOT be ordering lunch from Peppers again. The food was good, but the random pricing is a no-go.

Ordered jumbo wings for my coworkers and I and picked up my order. When I arrived at work and opened my container they had these small sized wings in its place. When I called and spoke to the cashier she apologized and advised me they did not have any jumbo wings so they gave me the small ones. I then replied you gave me small wings at a jumbo price, she said the cook gave me extra. While on the phone I counted with her and they shorted me 10, and most of the wings were just bones. I usually never complain and never make a big deal about these things but to pay $72 for wings and get this junk is not right. I like to add the owner is yet to call me about this. I usually enjoy the food here, but maybe I’ll find another location for myself and coworkers to order from.

Their pizza is absolutely delicious and very affordable. We went twice during a 3 day stay in the Scranton area and did not tire of it. We loved the California pie and the white and plain pies were very good as well. Very kind staff that chatted with us and treated us very well. Would definitely go again if we're back in the area!

Ordered a steak and cheese hoagie with lettuce sweet peppers fried onion and mayo got it with a bun 2 slices of cheese halfway melted on the bun no peppers no mayo barley any steak and raw onions put on top of the non melted slice of American cheese more than likely straight out the plastic wrap. Called and told them about it they said he’ll be back in a min and he’ll call you to send another one out. Waited 20 mins called back he said no big deal we will get you back next time. Honestly the worst steak and cheese I’ve ever had in my life. # mayo in the pic is mayo I put on to force this cheese bread down my throat because they wouldn’t make my outrageously over priced order right for me.

Great food ...the best Buffalo pizza probably ever .. Only problems is the service!!! How u have the restaurant on door dash and everything u try to order it makes u choose a time for the next day???? And if u call to personally put an order in...no answer??!!!! One time we ordered from my job and I had someone else go out and grab it for me at the time that I was busy.. My coworker came in and said that the guy demanded a tip and I said I took them over the phone using a credit card, and he had to tell the guy that he was sorry, he did not have cash on him.... To ask or wait patiently is cool but to request it ...even when we did?! 😵‍💫

Ordered for this place one time one of my food at 5:30. I got it at 6:30 and they wanted the food back when they were bringing me the correct time and the order ordered it again this time and guess what this time they miss a pizza you spent over $100 Each time when you call back there were some kind of oops I ain’t gonna happen again

So we ordered for my daughter's birthday. We just got a large pepperoni pizsaid. The woman on the phone kept interrupting everything. I was saying from my address to my card number. So that was pretty rude. I know she had a strong accent. So if you're trying to understand something someone saying maybe not interrupt them because she ended up sending him to. The wrong house she wrote down.Let's say 105 instead of 115 and I already paid for the pizza. So if he didn't call my phone to make sure they would've signed the slip and got the pizza. Actually, I already tipped so he just handed me the pizza. After walking down the block, the driver was very nice. However, the pizza taste disgusting. It tasted like was so hard. I'm lucky my kids didn't chip a tooth.It was like we had to order pizza from samario's because we don't want her birthday dinner. Pizza party, to be bad. Thank goodness it was just The Four of Us as a femily. But now we have one cardboard pizza and 1 pizza that everybody got stuff done. So it ended up being a good day thanks to samario's. But this place, I don't know and they raise their prices also. When I guess I have the wrong menu they raise the prices for the deal when I ask about a certain deal. The woman was very rude and told me they didn't have the blue cheese. And then proceeded to ask me how many orders of wings that I wanted when that's not what I was talking about at all.So basically one star you almost learn my daughter's birthday.

They have a good calzone but 19 dollars for a small is kind of crazy. It used to be13 so I was pretty shocked learning they raised the price so much. Maybe it was necessary but I think it's a bit out of my price point now

I ordered one cheese, steak, onion and pepper sub, one sausage parm sub, a small plain pizza, one chicken fingers with French fries, and one stuffed shells dish (added meatballs). The cheese, steak, onion and pepper sub barely had any meat or cheese in it, you can see it on the picture, the flavor was there, but the quantity wasn't. The sausage parm sub was actually good. The chicken fingers with French fries were decent, nothing really stood out. The pizza needed more cheese and more sauce, so noone ate that, and the stuffed shells, well, the stuffed shells were good but I paid an extra $3 to add meatballs and all I got were 3 mini meatballs that were definitely not worth the $3. They were really small, not your traditional meatballs. They get 2 stars for the flavor on some of the dishes.

Unnecessary attitudes from the employees. I asked for fresh food and said I'd gladly wait for it. I didn't even cash out and they had it on the counter. I asked the cashier to check it out because she even gave a look of surprise. Then they want to insist it was fresh made. I disagreed and then came the attitudes. This place is run by teenagers who don't know what work ethic is let alone customer service. Avoid places like this.

The food here was dissappointing compared to other McDonald's I tried recently. The QP was dry and the condiments lacked flavor. The fries were good but that was it. It reminded me why I don't eat at McD's often.

They burnt my egg muffin and with no common sense they still thought it was a good idea to still give to the customer instead of making a new one and this is not the first time. They seriously need to start hiring better employees.

Wow terrible. I know the workers are doing their best. Management is obviously failing here by not hiring enough workers. But we came in and had to wait 30min for a simple order. At one point I asked them to check on the order and they couldn't even find it. And after all that the cheeseburgers didn't even have the pickles. Food was blah. The workers are so busy that they just kinda toss the food to the pickup counter. Restaurant is dirty too.

I ordered on doordash and mind you it was two 10 pieces and a happy meal with ranch and two extra ranch’s. It’s on the receipt on the bag “7 ranch cup” not hard to see at all. Do not get a single sauce in the bag. Absolutely insane how do you forget the sauce especially when there’s two ten pieces. Obviously you don’t get what you pay for and this isn’t the first time.

I ordered 2 Sundaes and they filled only half of the cup.

I just ordered the gold chicken sandwich. Came home to no bacon on it as it was supposed to have, and the chicken is chewy and horrible..I tried calling twice and no one answered.Smh, I won't be ordering here again. Should of just went to my usual spot in Old Forge

The most awful excuse for pizza I have ever seen. Not much cheese at all. The sauce is straight from a can with no seasoning at all. The crust is an already made store bought shell. No effort or pride was put into the making of this "pizza". They don't even have a pizza oven. -American Cheese -Ketchup -Wonder bread

I ordered today 1/2 tray pizza pepperoni. And wondered why it costs $18.00. Because they gave me a full tray 1/2 topped with pepperoni. Please listen to your customers better.

This place is my favorite ever for Buffalo pizza ... there hardly any slices out , employees don't even look like they wanna be here , the subway next to it barely has any bread made .. this place gets worse the more I visit and it's sad ... 😔 also I wouldn't have gotten my pizza today if it wasnt for online ordering cause they don't answer the phone!

The pizza itself was excellent, the only problem is both my pizza's were very undercooked. I had to just throw them in the oven. When I give this place a second try and receive fully cooked pizzas I will definitely give this place 5 stars and will update this review! Also if you read this review the place is inside subway. It's a tiny place located in a shared space with Subway, but it's the best white pizza I have found since moving to Scranton. It's got a unique, tasty 3 cheese blend and actual garlic (not garlic powder). Every other pizza place we've tried so far didn't have real garlic, which is a huge let down with white pizza. So if you like white pizza, I recommend this place!

I ordered off of Uber eats. I paid for a Sicilian style pizza and I was sent a regular new york style pizza.

This is the absolute worst "Italian" food I have ever had and I have lived pretty much around the world as well as all across America. I ordered the chicken parmesan over pasta and it was actually ziti... Which was very undercooked and there was a pool of water at the bottom. Instead of breaded chicken, like chicken parmesan is supposed to be, it was diced up grilled chicken with no breading and it was very very minimal chicken spread out almost if It's pizza toppings on top of a pizza. But honestly felt like this meal would cause $7 buying value brands at Walmart. I honestly suggest that this restaurant learns a little more culinary methods. I would give it zero stars if possible. The tortellini soup had absolutely no flavor at all, it tasted like hot water.

Usually, it's not busy on the weekdays. But once it gets to Friday, be prepared that it will be busy with the college students. The food I've had in here was always good. Never had a problem with service. I mean, they did get my order wrong before, but we all make mistakes. Food I would recommend are the wings, which can be pretty pricey for wings, the hoagie cheeseburger, the pizza, and the fries.

Worst pizza I've ever had. The plain red with toppings had no flavor. The cheese has no flavor and the crust was flimsy. Had a good white pizza here but I won't be back. For the money I could have gotten something I actually enjoyed. However the service was great. Was delivered in half the time quoted.

Horrible people working here!! They dont care about their delivery partners. I was told “door dashers arent allowed to use the restroom “ Only customers” I dont even deliver for door dash. I deliver for grubhub. And yes im delivering your customers their food have some empathy for god sakes. Who ever is running this place you have to do much better with your staff or management. As Delivery partners we are bringing your business money in just as your in store customers. Dont treat us like trash. You dont have to worry about me delivering for this store again I will deliver where I am treated with respect and where my service is appreciated. Yes we are providing a service to you! I hope to see improvement in the future because this is very sad honestly.

I ordered food that never came. When I called to ask about the delivery that was two hours late, I was told to recheck after stating I already had, to which the person on the phone became rude and blamed me for the the food never being delivered. I would highly suggest others going to literally any other pizza place, or even better, buying digirorno’s, since you will not have to depend on terrible delivery of CK pizza. If I could rate lower than one star, I truly wish I could due to the poor rate of service and incredibly low rate of customer service.

The fast food industry is the easiest job in the world to do, to be a complete screw up takes a lot of hard work, more hard work than it does to be a good worker, the staff here makes it seem easy, in my 24 years working this industry I've never seen a store filled with so many untrained screw ups. Might wanna get Gary out of retirement so he can train your staff better

I used the drive-through and the service was quick and efficient, albeit, it's a burger king, employed with teens. It's no box of chocolates.

No one would put this lettuce on a hamburger they were eating. It's disgusting. Never got this when I ate in. It's always in the drive thru so by the time it's discovered you've already driven home. I've learned to thoroughly check that everything is there before I drive off since that's where they usually screw up. Guess it's either accept this slop or eat in. Very disappointed.

Ten out of ten, would eat from here again. I ate the Fry's and borger and shit. Num num num num num I guess. This is my most useless review. I'd give the seating a 10, the food a 10, the kids I watched a 10 and men a 10.

First time at Retro - a welcome addition to the Pine Brook district. The coffee menu looks great, but for someone who can't drink coffee there's not a ton of options. I tried a dragon fruit refresher and it was delicious. I'd like to go back with a coffee drinker to get a full review, and to try some food!

My first time in today and my experience was phenomenal. Very affordable, delicious food and coffee. I ordered solely from the opinions of one of the workers. She was very friendly and helpful. Across the street On and On is located so after refueling here you can cross the street and shop ! She also made sure to accommodate my allergy. I don’t have a photo but the peanut butter balls are delicious.

Cute spot, my group all got the grilled cheeses and they were very good. I got a chaider, half apple cider and half chai tea. It was good, best of both worlds some would say. My friends got matches and strawberry smoothies

A dainty little cafe in the local area! The decorations match the retro theme, but there could be more to help bring out the theme. I got an iced flower power, but the lavender flavor was lacking. The latte was still good though. I also got a house made broccoli cheddar soup, which was warming and flavorful. Plus, there’s parking near it!!

Driving north, we stopped at this funky place for morning coffee. My cappuccino was excellent, as was the chocolate chunk cookie. I'll definitely stop there again when I'm in the Scranton area.

It's a great cafe near National Bakery and On & On. I had a sausage, egg and cheese on a National Bakery roll and a brewed black coffee. Everything was very good. The interior is very cozy with fantastic wall art throughout. I wish the menu was more creative with more items. The glass case is in need of more sweet and savory contents.

Loved my cup of coffee at this cafe and enjoyed seeing the wall of retro board games. I did not have food during this visit but will give it a try next time. The baked goods looked amazing. Staff was friendly, and the cafe was very clean. Nice visit. I'll be back.

Ordered food with co-workers. Multiple people got sick from eating. We ordered chicken salad wrap. It was a wrap with crispy chicken and lettuce. Ordered a triple decker sandwich that is suppose to come with bacon. Never got bacon, was not a triple decker and the roast beef looked like something you’d get when you order steak and eggs. The person on the phone barely spoke English so it made ordering very frustrating. Will never go again. Eat here at your own risk

I've been here a handful of times, and the food is always excellent. The dishes are full of flavor, and the ingredients are fresh. The staff are always really nice...many of them do not speak a lot of English, you just have to get creative with communication sometimes. They clearly know their stuff when it comes to the food. The atmosphere is great-the decor is really colorful and the restaurant is simple and clean. One of our favorite spots for going out to eat.

I got birria tacos & they literally put cooked beef with no seasoning (not even salt) on my taco; just literal cooked beef. Went right in the garbage. Tastes like it was made by white people & that's coming from a white girl. My Irish grandmother could season better than that.

Have been wanting to try this place. The outdoor seating looks great!! Unfortunately it really was so hot. Ate inside and had definitely 1 of the best fish tacos I’ve ever had. They give a large amount of food. The waiter, so kind!! Place very clean!! I’ll be back for sure!!

The woman who took the orders got my entire dinner order wrong. She claimed she knew English well, but clearly, she did not. When running a business, have English-speaking staff take orders. I will never order from this place again. What a waste of time, gas, and money! Translate this into Spanish if they don't know what I am saying in ENGLISH!

I ordered food for delivery.I got a loaded nachos And a spicy chicken with rice meand And everything is just seriously amazing. What surprise me as I was expecting the nachos.To be a much smaller container.This is definitely something I would have to share and did have to share.I will definitely be ordering from here again

They named this place perfectly,seeing we showed up as the full moon was rising over the horizon. Nate our server was a very excellent host...our food came quickly and it was great. The chicken orzo clearly house made was spot on and my corned beef and poached eggs were super...my girlfriend's burger was picture perfect...see photos... thanks to the management and staff for a truly wonderful dinner and view..🙂

What a gem! Incredibly delicious food, HUGE generous portion, super friendly service, reasonable prices, best coffee, plenty of parking, delicious baked goods, it doesn't get better than that. I'm soooo happy to have discovered this restaurant. Their grilled chicken is seasoned so perfectly my mouth is watering just thinking of it. It's almost an hour from our home but worth the drive every time. The Greek & Chef salads are out of this world.

The service was decent..but I wasn't impressed with the food at all..I got a sirloin steak medium well it wasn't cooked long enough or shown any kind of love. It's extremely overpriced and not worth it. I won't be back. It was my first time and last time here. No lie the best part of my meal was the saltine crackers I got for my soup. I'll never be back. Extremely overpriced and it's not even worth it. If I'm paying $20 for steak it better be worth $20.

Had the gyro platter and falafel app. The platter is huge!! Definitely enough to share or take home. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Less than five minutes off the interstate.

We loved the food here. We stopped on our way to upstate NY. The stuffed waffle was absolutely delicious. Eggs were cooked to perfection as well. Very good service and the staff was actually very nice. You can tell it’s the town’s favorite diner as it does get quite busy even early in the morning.

One of the top two Reubens we have had, and we eat a lot of them!!! All the ingredients were delicious and top quality. It was put together well. Asked for extra sauerkraut and came with lots, although there was a $2:50 charge for it. This seems high. They substituted sweet potato fries, and there were lots of them!!! Came with extra sauce and coleslaw. The service was wonderful!!! It's definitely a 5 star plus!!! We highly recommend this place!!!

I don't know where to start.. the chili dogs are some of the best I've ever had. The hospitality was great. Even with a hot pot in front of us, they encourage us to try a coffee shop out in the park (Black Watch Cafe) just to further enjoy our visit to Scranton. We grabbed some pie to have later and it was great too.

Fun lottle place. TORTELLINI soup was excellent, cherry pie was great. I had the burger and had never had a chili burger before. I am apparently not a fan of that, but the person i was with loved ot. Prices are decent. Definitely worth viditing.

Arguably the best Texas dogs in NEPA! I was astonished as to how affordable and filling this diner was, or as I like to say "cheep and cheerful". I arrived at around 12:30 on a Sunday, and while there were a handful of people here, it did take a few minutes to be greeted and to have my order taken. I was not sure if they were short-staffed, or if it was just a "busy" day for them. When the waitress finally came to take my order, she did apologize for the wait and explained it was a bit of a hectic day. I ordered 2 Texas dogs, fries and a Pepsi and she went and placed my order into the lone griller. Everything here is made to order fresh, which is awesome, so I knew there would be a bit of a wait. It did seem to take longer than usual for a two hot-dogs with chilli, but I will again chalk it up to either being short-staffed, or just "busy". When she finally brought my order over, there was only 1 dog and a basket of fries. I had to point out that I ordered 2 dogs and she said she would get right on that. In this situation, one would think that they would make that a priority, instead of helping others who were seated and had placed orders after you, but unfortunately that was not the case. I don't even recall getting a "sorry" for the mistake. By the time the second dog arrived, I was pretty much done my meal and of course I had to wait an additional 10-15 minutes for my second dog. The waitress was nice enough, the food itself was AMAZING but the overall "experience" was not what I would expect. With all of this said, I would still give them another chance as we all have "off" days, and I hold no bitterness or resentment. The food was fantastic and the prices are unbeatable. I would just like to see them sort out their staffing issues and be sure to stay on top of orders. Food is 5 out of 5 stars Service itself is a 3 out of 5 Total review is 4.

Cool little place. LOTS of baseball memorabilia lining the walls. Very casual atmosphere. Berks skinless hot dogs, split and flat grilled, on a great quality National Bakery roll. I got one with spicy mustard, one with cheese...both were excellent. My wife and son both got plain, which they both loved as well. Unfortunately, I ate BEFORE I thought to get pics...very hungry. Pepsi products.

Great coney dog … the chili is seasoned well and the dog is split in half and placed in a delicious bun. Not in the mood for a dog - the tuna salad is A+. Be sure toSave room for pie ;) The service is top notch as well

I had to stop myself from ordering more and digging in my sister’s plate. Bronwynn, I was supposed to come back with a chocolate cake for your birthday but I couldn’t and I was crushed. So happy belaaaaaated BDay and hope you enjoy the pic of a cake I wished for you.

We have been dining here since the 1980’s. New owners changed their buns for their grinders. Let me tell you it was a huge disappointment to the degree that we most likely will not go back. Ordered a steak and cheese grinder, the bun was so skinny you could barely fit anything in it. Not sure how those buns work with tuna or lunch meat grinders with all the lettuce, tomato and onion in them. The difference was in the portion size and taste of bun. New buns make half the size of the original. Same length but width and girth of bun was considerable smaller. For the price it definitely was not worth it. Used to feed two people, now only feeds one for same price. Original buns way better, in my opinion it ruins the nostalgia of the place as well. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it! Quality for price went downhill. On a positive note the service and atmosphere was still the same.

I found this place by accident, visiting a university near by and was one of the best pizzas places that I have been! The pizza is not a conventional pizza, they are like personal style. We try the Hawaiian and the cheese and both were so delicious and you can tell that all the ingredients are fresh. Also we try the Hot Wings, highly recommended, they are so delicious and juicy. The service was amazing and they have good prices too. Definitely 💯 recommended!

I stopped in today and got a pepperoni pizza — they only do personal-sized pizzas here, which I actually loved. The owner came around to check on everyone, which gave the place a really friendly, down-home vibe. One of my favorite touches was the little model train running around the inside of the restaurant near the ceiling — it’s a fun detail you don’t see often anymore. Between the great pizza and the warm atmosphere, I’ll definitely be back.

I could wait to come to Scranton PA and visit this pizzeria and oh was it worth it! It was the absolute best pizza I have had. I ate the whole thing and left no crumbs. I highly recommend the steak and cheese pizza. My mouth is watering just writing this review. My only regret is not get 2 boxes. The staff and management are so kind, warm, and welcoming. If you're near Scranton, you need to check out Pizza By Pappas! The pizza was delicious! The people were so friendly, and the vibe was great! We went there on our first date and we will definitely keep coming back!

My family is from Scranton and we have been eating here since they opened. I do know it's under new owner and manager. I order 2 pizzas one grinder and a order of cheese sticks. $90 dollars and you didn't get the order right or try to fixes it. Long time customer here. Poor service.

For the price and it being open in the middle of the night at all times it's very hard to beat. I was very satisfied with my visit here. I went here twice the waitress was very nice and very good at her job didnt miss a detail even after the 2nd time I arrived 10 hours later was the same waitress. She was very professional. The cooks always prepare the food to my liking. This is probably the best waffle house I've ever been to.

The food was incredible and my server was amazing and the staff was very kind and hard working but the manager was very rude to the staff and she treated them mean. I don't know if it's a power trip but it's inappropriate to talk to your staff like that

Me and my friend are regular customers at this Waffle House, and we usually spend a good amount of money here. The staff has always been nice in the past, but today’s experience completely changed our minds. We came in about an hour ago and ordered our food. The first order came out a little burned, but we didn’t complain and just let it go. Later, we ordered something different, and the cook (his name was Mike) spoke to us in a very rude tone, saying we should order everything at once. We’ve never had someone talk to us like that here. I don’t know if he’s new or what, but it was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. Because of this experience, we’ve decided we won’t be coming back anymore. It’s disappointing, because we’ve always enjoyed this location before, but one bad attitude can ruin the whole place.

Arrived with friends at 12AM on a Friday night on Halloween….all the lights in the building were on but there wasn’t a soul in sight. No signs on the door and no signs of life. Doors locked. Great place to go if you enjoy staring through glass at what could have been breakfast.

Always hits the spot! The food came out fast, hot, and exactly how I ordered it. Classic Waffle House vibes. friendly staff, good music, and that perfect late-night breakfast energy. You can’t go wrong here!

It’s always a delight when we can have Kristy Kreme since we don’t live close to any. The best part? The donuts of course! Plus, they’re really affordable so we got a dozen. The worst part? This location was dirty. We sat at a table for a little bit to eat a couple donuts and it was sticky and gross. The place overall didn’t look so clean but at least the donuts were good.

I purchased two cream filled glazed donuts. I haven't been there in a long time. I remembered how deliciously filled those donuts were from times past, however, not this time. Both donuts hardly had any cream inside. Shrinkflation? I won't be making any special trips for these donuts anymore.

Dazzling assortment of very tempting donuts and friendly staff. I had the tiramisu and cannoli donut. You have to try them, very fresh, not too sweet and they melt in your mouth. Excellent coffee too. Enjoy!

Who doesn't like fresh doughnuts? Better to get them here and the ones trucked in by the other guys who just run and run run. Never had a bad doughnut here. Nice Wifi, but the seating are could be a bit more comfortable. The table to chair distance ratio is not the best enjoy your coffee and pastries.

On Oct 1, 2025 I decided to treat myself to the new fall flavors and some of the classics. Well, curly, clearly hates his job because he didn't crack a smile the whole time he gathered my two dozen and couldn't care less that the one fall flavor I was looking forward to wasn't even available; cotton candy! I was told, "I guess they forgot to make it." Another, Original Glazed Kreme filled was out, too. The app didn't show either were out, but it also didn't allow me to check out. Then, chatty, chimed in and said I should call before I drive to the store. The app was off, the service was off, and when I got home, even the donuts seemed off. I drove 45 min. each way for THIS. Krispy Kreme should be oh so proud of the experience that awaits the unsuspecting traveler.

There medium is really small. A large is basically a medium for cold drinks. Got some sort of frilly mocha iced coffee. It was good but so small I drank it in 30 seconds.

I mean, the standards have definitely gone down. I have been a Dickson City Five Guys customer for over a decade and have watched it slowly dwindle. Long wait times, average food; made with little care, staff that is too busy waddling around to keep the place clean and tidy. My last order was the most disappointing and that's why I'm writing this review. Our order was not correct even though I know the woman on the phone repeated each thing back as I said it (I think she doesnt know how to run the computer in which case she should ask her manager how to properly key it in). So, my burger had extra things that should have been on the side or didn't have things because I wanted it on the burger and on the side and only got it on the side, etc. I also asked for extra bacon which there was not- the two slice normal amount that is standard on the bacon cheeseburger. The green peppers were cut far bigger than usual and that lead the burger to feel like a ground beef and pepper sandwich. Lastly, there were like 4 tiny pieces of lettuce that barely covered the patty. Nothing was terrible, the service was alright, the food was okay, the place was relatively clean- it's just a shame of how it used to be. I used to crave the symphony of flavors that entered my palate when I bit into a Five Guys burger, there used to be a whole vibe when you walked in where customers felt comfortable and like the high prices were worth the product. We are two steps away from feeling like McDonalds now and it's been an ongoing situation. Please re-train the staff, please have a staff morale boost, please incentivize staff to want to keep things up to par. I know you can do better. Best wishes.

One of the BEST 5 Guys we have eating at since we have been traveling in our RV starting 2020. Hats off to the two young ladies that crafted our meal and to the perfection at it's upmost! They were both very friendly and attentive to how our meal was to be prepared, much better than any other place we've patronized. From the bottom of our hearts, "Thank You!" We had visited Denny’s pretty late with 4 of us as a group. Being teens we were a little obnoxious at the table I would say but there weren’t others there. Instead of thinking we were weird for ordering 4 pancakes or having fruit with steak our server JR was very personable and was able to joke around with us. Not only that but he also got our drinks out to us fast along with our food. He didn’t even need a notepad to remember all of our food and he got it exactly right. While there he treated us as if we were friends rather than customers and that goes a long way. He informed us on Denny’s hours returning back to 24 hours and stated that he wants to spread the word so that he can serve others and bring them joy through the night. By far I had one of the best experiences in a restaurant in a while and it was mainly due to JR. The food was excellent and the managers were attentive asking us as guests if our food tasted up to par and if we needed anything. We came close to closing but not once did we get rushed out or felt like we had to leave. This being said I will be returning to this location in the future because my experience was like I said the best I have ever had at a restaurant. Thank you Denny’s and JR for making my friends and I’s night special. (I would also like to add that the restaurant was extremely clean and the atmosphere was great!)

Food was great. Cooked exactly the way I liked it. Came here late after bowling and was so happy that I did. The server JR was awesome and said starting 08/01 they'll be going back to 24/7 Wednesday through Sunday.

I absolutely love this Denny's location. It's the one I've been going to since I was a little girl and the service has very greatly improved - not that it was bad before - this year. My servers are the nicest, most personable people to be serving me. I always feel comfortable when I'm here and can't wait to come back!

My fiancée and I love going to Denny’s anyways so we are always biased when it comes to their food. However, the service in this location was excellent. We had JR serve us and he was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of.

I’ve order from Nina’s many times and was pleased with their food until recently. I placed an order for pick up today and was extremely disappointed, the food was tasteless, sloppy and skimpy. My hoagie had a thin layer of steak-umms on the bottom with three handfuls of onions & peppers on a soggy bun.. The wing bites are half the size that they used to be but the price is still $14.25!! The only thing we actually enjoyed were the plain fries and celery with bleu cheese. This is my first negative review and the last time I’ll order from Nina’s.

The round tray reminded me of NY or Philly 👍 the wing bites are out of this world! Little bit of crispy tons of flavor, but the customer service is second to none. Everyone greeted me with a smile. Kindness emanates from the employees. Thank you very much 🙏

My fiancée and myself travel to this location from the Poconos at least once or twice a month. Their food is amazing (especially the boneless wings and gravy fries)!!! The service and atmosphere is excellent! I would absolutely recommend this place!!!

My clients picked this spot to get lunch, and it was called in. I ordered the turkey sub. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted. The food was ready and I paid. The nice staff helped me to my car because there was a lot of food, which I appreciated. When I ate the sub, it was tasty and very filling! My clients enjoyed as well. All in all I had a good experience.

The Wing bites are the best! Pizza is good. Note to out of towers, if you want pizza with just mozzarella, order the NY style, otherwise you'll have American cheese on your pie.

Yesterday, Friday - Aug 2nd, 2024, Kit and I stopped at 2 more Pizza Joint's that are on the Lackawanna County, PA Pizza Trail!!! The 1st was the BRICK OVEN PIZZERIA & RESTAURANT, Kit Dwight had a Cheese and Broccoli Cut and I had a Old Forge Red Cut and then a Regular Plain Cut. All the cuts were delicious and had the regional flavor and taste. Most are made with a mixture of cheeses and some if not most don't use mozzarella as one of those that those of us from the New York, New Jersey area are use to!!! Either way, there are superb pizza and the average tasting pizza. So far today's cut's are leaning to the higher end!!!

I was very disappointed today when I ordered a pepperoni pizza from this brick oven and got home to this a burnt pizza like what? How can you serve this to your customer and when I called to complain I was place on hold and no one ever answer me. It really mess up that we spend our hard earned money and we get burnt food and the workers don't care. If I could give them a zero I would. They knew that pizza was burnt.

I placed a order over the phone for a ham sandwich just ham cheese and bacon that's it . It comes out with tomato's mayo lettuce. Sure that's fine normally except im allergic to tomato's so i go in and ask for one just with ham cheese and bacon. I say sorry for the inconvenience and walk out with the new sandwich. They just removed the tomato and gave it back to me the residue was still on the bread. I go back in and just say hey again im allergic to tomato if you just take it off and i eat it unknowingly i can have a severe reaction then the lady started shaking like crazy. I gave it back then they come out with the old one and the new one and they said the cook remade the 2nd sandwich and i said look at the bread it has red on it still with mayo and lettuce. I warn them that if i ate that and something happened to me that would be a lawsuit and they say ok dude so i walk out. Just watchout if you get your order remade. This is not the way you treat customers that have been going there for years that order the same exact order over and over again The picture is what i got on the 3rd sandwich............ later----Eating the sandwich found out they threw in white cheddar in the mix when its normally just American note have been going here for years why now .

The food is fantastic!! We've eaten here several times and enjoyed every bite, every time! Today was no exception! Today, I ordered the "The Works" Chicken Cheesesteak, and I may never eat anywhere else or order anything else again!! It was absolutely delicious! As a matter of fact, as I was leaving the restaurant, I told everyone that was waiting to be seated, that they should order one, too!!

This restaurant has great food that is very reasonably priced. They are also open past 9pm so if you have more time to get an order in which is convenient. They have sit down tables and a very well decorated dining room if you are looking to eat in. Would recommend their Ceasar Parm wings and cheese/gravy fries.

Great thin crust pizza with amazing taste! Ordered a sandwich to take home for my super picky father and he said it was “very tasty!” Definitely will be returning with him for more great food!

On 2/18/25 I ordered a large steak and cheese Stromboli with fried peppers and onions . The total came too $21.00 . Last night on 3/1/25 I have ordered the same thing. This time with them price being $30.06 . I noticed it when I left the restaurant. I called and spoke to someone on the phone . When they first answered the phone they said “brick oven “ kitchen is closed . They are rude and very disrespectful. The guy that answered the phone had an attitude and very disrespectful. I explained to him about the price difference and he made every excuse in the book too come up with the $30.00 price . He said that they charge $3.95 per topping which is beyond ridiculous. Fried peppers and onions should be included as I ordered this before plenty of times and it was as no other charge . The food is not even the greatest . They keep putting the prices up and down on the Stromboli. When my husband was holding the box in the car he noticed all the greese coming out of the box onto his lap . Below is the picture I’ll prove it . This place is beyond disgusting anymore . The greese they made inside the Stromboli went through the pizza box into my husbands pants and into his boxers it was that greasy . The staff are horribly ignorant and come up with excuses of why the food changed so much in price within a 10 day period . I’d recommend nobody getting anything from this place . They are ignorant and the food is just disgusting anymore . The manager seems like he didn’t really care about the whole situation either and it got pushed too the back burner. You never should disrespect or treat customers the way this person did on the phone on last night . I’d recommend staying away from this place .

Starting ordering here when located at the Westside hotel and when we moved back to the delivery area still order. The 12 cut with extra cheese and pepperoni is the best around. Give it a try you'll love it. It's very clean and everyone is polite eat in take out and delivery. Every thing is great

Okay, the only thing that prevents this from being a 5 star review is delivery time. I've ordered from there a few times and average delivery time was over an hour. Food was always hot and fresh, so maybe they're just busy? The pizza itself (we get the square, which I recommend) is great, in an odd way. The sauce is spicy/savory, cheese is an American blend and very good. There is something addictive about the crust, there's nothing spectacular about it, but it has a certain je ne sais quoi. I'd recommend order for takeout if you want to eat in less than an hour.

Unfortunately About 2 years ago I have stopped ordering from pehrs because of the way my orders have been made!! Today 12/29/17 I figured I would give another chance... I called at 9:33 pm and asked if they are still delivering after looking at the website and seeing they close at 10pm...the gentleman stated his driver went home but he would deliver my 2 pizzas I was ordering... great!! I appreciate him going out of his way, as I’m sure my tip explained that!! Sadly I cannot post a pic of what my pizzas looked like on here, but apparently nothing has changed since the last 3 orders I have made at pehrs!!! I’m super upset I will be talking to the owner about my experience and personally show him what my order looks like and hope to god he doesnt feed his family what his businesss just served me!!! Totally didgusted!!! Needs new management!! Needs new cooks!!! Needs a lot of improvement!!! My two stars is only for the politeness of the one answering the call. I sure hope he wasn’t the one that made the pizza, although I know he’s the one that delivered as he stated during Phone Call!!! Damn you got me again pehrs!!!

For the Scranton area with a lot of choices pizza places this is one you should not miss. Fresh dough good sauce, slightly sweet. Cheese is just Brown enough and seems to be a specialty blend.

Phers food is great. When Per open-ended in the old WS Hotel we started ordering there. He took very I'll then made a come back to North Scranton. We moved. Back near by and again we use Phers the best square pizza and garlic knots around. Everything is great. 7th generationand still going strong they also deliver. People are saying they haveve waited over an hour. We have never waited that long. Hers is very busy and their food arrives fresh and hot and is better the most igneous want fresh and hot order here friendly service no recordings and very polite individuals

Pehr's is a very good pizza place/restuarant. Such good wing pizza, very tasty. The quality of the food is great, everything is fresh. Me and my family get food from there almost every weekend...F*** the naysayers! Pehr's is great!

1st time here, greatest very welcoming. Found a spot at a both and as I glanced over the menu which they serve all day breakfast, good to know. I got a cheeseburger with mayo lettuce tomato and onions, the burger was cooked very well, not over or underdone. Was nice and juicy. Now, you just don't get a side of fries, you get fresh cut fries which came out very hot to the touch, I noticed the cut was on the thick side. You don't get fries any better than this. Now, the Texas weiners, now they looked like on the smaller side but packed a huge flavor with the mustard, onions, and their signature sauce. The sauce has a good seasoned taste, definitely worth stopping by. Until next review.

We wanted to have a diner experience and we were not that down. We had eggs and toast and tater tots and everything was delicious. The service was fantastic and I really enjoyed my visit to this diner.

This place was well worth the 30 min stroll from our hotel for breakfast. Great service, food was lovely, especially the pancakes, best we’ve had. Really good value too. Highly recommend

First time going here and I must say the service was amazing! My family and I were in the area and wanted something quick to eat before heading home and this was perfect. The service was great, everyone was very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food was everything from the steak to the homemade lasagna. Definitely would go back if we’re in the area again!

I had uber eats deliver me a couple Texas wieners, a couple cheeseburgers and fries. I’ve had their wieners. They speak for themselves. The burger was awesome. Cooked perfectly and the fries were the BEST hand cut fries or any fries I’ve ever had. Highly recommend…

Ordered from Uber Eats, should've chosen another chicken place. I ordered a 4 piece meal with mash potatoes ( keep in mind it should come with a breast, thigh, leg, and a wing). What I got was all wings. This place is an absolute scam. Don't buy from here unless you wanna take a risk

I actually want to give this a ZERO ! No stars! But i will go ahead and mention the most disgusting thing ever. And thats a roach in my food. And i was VERY skeptical with eating their food. My husband decided to buy it and in my food that fell off the chicken was a half dead roach. Legs off to one side. It made me vomit. You dont play with peoples food! I really dont know why this KFC is even open. Its always deserted and now you see why. I ordered a famous bowl 2 months ago and 3 pieces of small chicken nuggets, a bunch of corn and barely mashed potatoes. Like are you serious…NEVER AGAIN.

They very rarely get my takeout orders correct there is always something missing. I call then they apologize and offer me a free order which is nice but I can't remember this when I am there. I regret our stop for lunch at this KFC. The girl who took my order was incredibly rude. She greeted me with a snarly, What do you want!”, and it just got worse. I ended up telling her there was no need to be rude. I understand we all have bad days, but we all need to be respectful. The food was not great either, but it was more the rudeness that made the whole experience awful!

Honestly, all the previous reviews are spot on. Every table in the dining area was dirty while the employees stood around in the kitchen doing nothing. It would take two minutes to clean the place, come on. Then I get my food and the bun is half torn and the chicken looks like it’s been sitting out for 100 years. The Colonel would be ashamed.

This KFC has always been hit and miss with the food and service. This last time the food was so gross! It was the absolute worst fried chicken we've ever had! It was dripping wet with nasty brown grease and the skin was fatty and slimy and hanging off of the chicken pieces! The breading was crumbling off of all of the pieces and falling to the bottom of the bucket and clumping up into little balls of rancid grease mini biscuits! We told them we wanted our meal replaced and they just gave us more of the same chicken! I guess the manager did not train their people how to cook the product nor were they checking the quality of the food! Why would any manager let that terrible chicken leave the drive thru window?? I know the owner of this location would be highly pissed!

Historic pizzeria. Family owned for over 50 years! Everyone loves and misses Brownie’s Pizza, the best pizza in Northeast Pennsylvania. The owner is a great guy and so funny. We love him!

Their Pizza is fantastic and unique. It is square cut with a light Airy and tasty crust. The sauce is Tangy and a little bit sweet and the cheese is probably some mix of American. I have been enjoying this pizza for probably about 45 years. The only problems I have noted lately it's perhaps a bit of an issue with consistency. Sometimes it's darker sometimes it's lighter and sometimes it has a lot more cheese spilled over the sides and burnt at the bottom. The pizza is still excellent and well worth a visit.

Worst customer experience ever. After waiting an hour for a delivery that was supposed to only be 40 minutes my husband decided to pick up the food. After bringing it home, my pizza was undercooked and my roll was all dough in the middle. I called and spoke to some of the most rude employees that I have ever seen. They refused to acknowledge the problem and hung up on me numerous times after asking to speak to the owner. I was told she would refund me after the delivery driver picked the food up from my house and he never came. Tried calling several other times to address the problem again but the "manger" said she wouldn't talk to me and just hung up the phone. Worst customer experience ever. ***In addition to this, the owner has not gotten back to me even though I have been trying to contact him for 4 days. Online he claims to have resolved the issue which is untrue because I have not spoken to him. He posted a customer's address online claiming it was mine which leads me to believe this is a recurring issue.

Dissapointed this time. I was craving the pizza because my first order was great.  The pizza was amazing. Fast forward two weeks later I was craving there pizza again because of how good my last order was , maybe it was too soon. It was awful!! I didn't ask for extra cheese but this time the cheese took over and there was barely any sauce. Burnt cheese attached underneath, it's just not a good taste I don't like stuff at the bottom of my pizza . I don't know what happened!! I was dissapointed with the pizza big time. The wings were great but the pizza was gross. I probably won't order from again if they are this inconsistent.

I only gave them one star because it's the only way I can put it in a review. The order taking was totally messed up. I wanted to leave a tip in advance and I offered $3 I asked you if it was a good driver. Apparently management must know that it's not a good driver because they only took $2. I was told about a half hour . The website says 45 minutes. It was an hour and a half. The driver didn't read the slip and was sitting exactly 10 houses down from mine. Around the block and it was only one block and that took 25 minutes. I wanted a no contact delivery it wasn't on a slip and I said just put it on the porch to the driver the driver was determined to bang on my door and make me come to the door. The order I wanted a lot of tomatoes I got little diced pieces. The BLT that I ordered was so light I thought it was just a plain hoagie roll. I'm so very unhappy with the service, food quality and delivery. I will never be ordering from them again whether it's delivery take out or if we are ever allowed to dine in anywhere again.

Ordered food online. Waited 2 hours and it still wasn't delivered. So I call and ask politely what is going on. Lady says she will check and call me back. 20 minutes later and nobody has called me back. So I call again. Phone rings at least 20 times before somebody answers. Again I ask politely what is going on with my order. It still hasn't left I'm informed. Now we are working on 2.5 hours. If you are that busy stop taking orders. I used to work at a pizzeria and I order out quite often. This by far ranks as one of the worst experiences I have ever had ordering from any restaurant. Super disappointed. This place is trash and the women who work there are miserable. Read the other reviews about the unfriendly and poor service. Don't get me wrong the food is good but sometimes that isn't enough. If I could I would give them zero stars.

I've been going to brownies for years, I'm from New York and it's hard to find good pizza parlor type food up here and I tried everywhere, I wish they sold the pizza by the slice though. My favorite thing from brownies is the cheese steak hoagie. I get it all the time. And the employees have always been very nice and polite. Never had an issue in all the years I've been going here .

Absolutely love Brownies! Have been eating their delicious food since they were in Old Forge. Pizza is delicious, wings are wonderful! The owner is one of the sweetest women I have ever met, just a great small local business who definitely deserves at least a chance but I am sure once you try it you will go back!

I felt uncomfortable and left. My friend from Scranton says the pizza is very good, so I will try again. I hope the employees are a little more friendly next time.

I went shopping today and the cashier treated me badly because I asked her about my order, I had already been waiting for 30 minutes. And when she gave me the order, she gave me burnt chicken and. I also bought potatoes and they gave me the two empty boxes that I bought and each box costs 7 dollars, it's unfair. I'm paying for a full box of potatoes that isn't empty. The owners should pay more attention to their employees. One pays for food, not for empty boxes. 😔

Can someone who works here tell me what I have to order to get my food and go? Not wait 10-20 min at the stop sign. I order ahead on the app, I give them 5-10 min before I leave to get there, still never ready. It’s food for 1 person. 3 pieces of chicken or a sandwich and a side. Never ready. Today it was two snack wraps. You’re telling me at 12:30 a chicken spot doesn’t have two tenders ready? Get it together Mr Owner, the comments are all the same.

We stopped at Popeyes for the famous chicken sandwiches. They had the spicy one available, so we went with that. I was expecting the heat to be in the breading, but it was just a spicy mayo on the regular sandwich, which was a bit disappointing — and it really wasn’t that spicy. The service was quick, and the drive-thru worker was friendly, which made the stop pleasant. It’s a little pricey, but honestly, what isn’t these days? Overall, not bad — but next time I’ll probably just stick to what I know is good. Now I get why they call it the classic.

All I can hear from the Spanish crew and one American lady is bad words out their mouse while there taking care customer. My door dash food took more than 20 minutes to get it. Very bad customer service. The men's room is lock i couldn't use it. Their excuses was "Out Service" bad they did not posted a sign " which clearly tell me that they clean it and don't anybody to use. I too work and fast food many years.

I will never order from this restaurant again! Placed my order through DoorDash at 5:47 PM, delivery time was updated 3 times! Ended up receiving the order at 7:19 PM!!! Dasher was waiting inside the store that whole time for the order! This is unacceptable!!! BTW...This store is approximately 5 mins away from me!!!

I work in customer service myself so I tried to excuse some of my experience but at this point I couldn’t. I could tell they were busy so I understand but they wouldn’t work on orders UNTIL people arrived to pick it up. They also allowed a kid to walk in the back and walk around, after he has just sneezed everywhere in the front counter. (That’s disgusting.) this felt like a 30 minute wait for not even such a big order. Someone at the front also seemed to be picking and choosing whose order to take and who to ask what they needed, it just made me feel ignored even though I stood there for five minutes.

I ordered online for pickup. First of all expensive but usually good so it's a once in a while treat/expense for us. We get there for pickup and they tell us their out of mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. 2 staples of the meal. They we're very rude and unhelpful to remedy a problem that shouldn't have been a problem I blame poor management. No wonder places are closing all over

One of the rudest things I’ve ever experienced. I have no car so I walked almost a mile to get there. I just got there after 10, and the dining room was closed. I walked around and waited until there were no cars at the window to walk up and try to ask if I ordered in the app can I just grab it from the window. I walked towards the window pointing at my phone. The lady working the window looked right at me and locked the window in my face. I can see employees hiding. Finally someone had the sense to actually ask me what I wanted. Insane rudeness. Never ever coming back to this place again.

Im not sure what's happening at this Wendy's but this is the second I ordered food and my order was messed up. I ordered a salad I never received and today I ordered and baked potato and got fries...If they didn't have any they could have just refunded it.

Remodel is really nice. Service is usually slower, but ha definitely picked up recently! The food is almost always still hot when it's ready.

Eating in a dark car makes it hard to see pink meat. Disgusting and nothing other than complete laziness. The restaurant was not busy during these hours. I would have taken an overdone chilli patty over this. No receipt given in bag. Approximate visit time was 8:40PM. No cars in the drive thru. Service was quick, but undone.

The last 3 times I have come here for breakfast the lobby has been locked even though the posted sign says it’s supposed to be open at 8am. Today I was here at 10:15 and the door was still locked. Terrible way to run a business. At least post a sign on the door saying the lobby isn’t open.

I had my 2 grandsons with me. The place was clean, food was made correctly and I was able to let the little run off some energy.

They didn't serve tea. Your only choice is the fake tea flavored soft drink you get out of the coke machine.

Not sure if it was busy or not. Was invited to grab brunch with my girlfriend and sister. Took the waitress quite a bit to grab us drinks and take our order. End up ordering their special. The food was delicious, the service and cleanliness of the place could use some attention. I understand that the weather is a factor, however, safely first when having patrons enter your establishment. Waitress dropped my toast, grabbed a new order. Didn't even clean up the mess from the original toast being dropped. A lot of employees just standing around.

We were in town for a concert & stopped here for breakfast in the morning. The place gets pretty crowded & we waited a while for a table, but it was absolutely worth it! The prices are great and the food is phenomenal!

Had high expectations for this place considering the reviews were good. On the outside it says Mexican Restaurant, I guess not. It’s nicely decorated inside but The food was horrible. It tasted worse than Taco Bell but with poor quality ingredients. Very bland flavors. Hot sauces tasted like tomato sauce mixed with a little bit of pepper. I was just passing through Scranton but man do I regret it. 👎👎

Cute little spot in Scranton with a drive thru. I opted to come in for lunch on my way into town and I'm glad I did! The soft tacos (with hand made flour tortillas) are STUFFED and quite the deal for $2.99 each. I ate one and was pretty much full! The rice and beans are exactly what they need to be. Very enjoyable!

I heard good things about this place and decided to check in while I was in the neighborhood. Was worried about parking but they have their own parking. Had a shrimp burrito, it was yummy! Good clean food with VERY fresh vegetables. It was so good I ordered another. Very clean modern place.

We like to try new places so Friday night we headed to 🌮 Taco Bandito on Main Ave in Scranton. I am not a big Mexican food fan,until now. The restaurant is cozy and VERY clean no food on the floor ,tables are clean 👌. (this says alot about a restaurant) The staff is wonderful and explained the menue to me.The food was fabulous. Having been to Mexico the food was as good if not better than what I had there. I had 🌮 'S a burrito and enchiladas,And you get a real drink of your choosing from the cooler not one of those watery fountain drinks!! Alone with that was yellow rice 🍚 and beans 🫘 severed in these unique bowls 🥣. All in all a great night ,great food,(alot) and wonderful people.We will be back.

I have driven by this joint countless times and finally stopped in one day. I liked that they had a taco special. I believe it was 5 hard shell tacos for $10. Though the vegetarian options were limited I did enjoy the bean taco. Funky inter design, also a drive thru!

Called was put on hold for over 5 minutes. Hung up. Called back 5-6 times, they did not answer. Went to location. Ordered my food, no line. After getting my food I will ask the man who put me on hold so long, why he did not take my subsequent calls. The “lead” said he would make sure that never happened again. From what I saw, he was too busy chasing girls out the front door trying to get their phone number and then he was worrying about answering a customer order on the phone. Good food very pricey horrible service. I was wondering what the other two employees were doing while he was ignoring the phone.

Slowest service i've ever witnessed in my life. Only one guy actually working and the other guy is just walking around doing god knows what. Only other person there is a girl who's just taking orders and answering the phone. We ordered pickup thinking we wouldn't have to wait as long and it would just be ready. Latest time it said it would be ready was 6:25. It is 6:50. Slowest workers i've ever seen

Went to Primos for the 1st time ever on 9/2 at 5:57pm. They were not busy at all as we were the only customers in the restaurant. Pretty basic order, Mild Italian and a Ham & Cheese on a seedless bun. Only requested basic toppings as well. On the mild Italian they used the HOT ingredients and then forgot the oil & vinegar. For the Ham & cheese, we actually got turkey. We did not discover all the issues until we got home and were getting ready to eat. (We live 30 minutes from the restaurant) Very disappointed and we will not be going back.

I didn't get the name of the young woman who waited on us last night, but her customer service was absolutely top notch! I could tell she was a little stressed getting backed up a little, but she handled everything like such a pro! It was our first time there, and we had about a 5-minute wait, no big deal and during that time I was watching her and the intention she had even behind wrapping a wrap, and wrapping the hoagies, she took her time even under pressure to make sure everything was next to perfect! I meant to call to get her name so I could specifically let her know how appreciated she is, it was her and two male coworkers. Our hoagies: steak & cheese with sharp provolone & the chicken Caesar cutlet hoagie were outstanding! I could not believe the amount of meat on the steak & cheese! The chicken cutlet was absolutely delicious! 10 out of 10! Glad we stopped!

The staff who work here are outstanding. Very friendly and they really care and it shows. That alone makes it a 5 star. Sandwhichs are pretty good too!

This Dunkin donuts is Good I give 3 stars because the place needs a to organize, the chairs are missed place, there is napkins on the floor, I saw donuts 🍩 behind the counter under the bakery shelves 🥯. That is not good, imagine if that's left over night.

They did not make my coffee right. lg. hot, extra cream and 12 liquid sugars....... I got a lg with cream... and she even had me repeat it back to her..... was not busy at all so I don't know .

the morning “manager” kept messing up our entire order. It was supposed to be a large iced green tea and he gives us a small black coffee. Ordered a bagel with cream cheese with egg on it and he throws a plain bagel not cut in half or anything in a bag. Messed up my husbands order too. Decided to go back another day to give this location another chance and it was the same guy who did it all again. The older lady worker had to yell at him. Called a manager later on and he said that he was a manager . I guess he’s the opening manager for Sunday , Monday, Tuesday , Wednesday and Fridays. I wouldn’t ever go back when he’s there

One of the most unpleasant experiences I’ve had at a coffee shop. I walked in and three women were standing behind the counter, completely ignoring me — not a single greeting, just eyes glued to the screen like I didn’t exist. I glanced toward the small window with a mirror to avoid awkward eye contact, and one of them started tapping on the glass at me like I was doing something wrong. It was shockingly rude. I’ve been a regular customer, but after this level of disrespect and zero hospitality — Dunkin’, you’ve lost me. Next time I’ll walk right past.

We were looking for French Cruller and stopped by a few DDs. No one had it! The store manager, Luke, offered us to check the freezer and just cooked it! Fabulous service! Kudos to Luke!

I used to go here all my high school friends worked here the hoagies was good I went the other day got 5 hoagies I asked for mayonnaise dressing oregano no capicola meat so I asked for extra meat I come from 1hour away to this place I get home and there was no mayonnaise no dressing one slice of ham one slice of salami and cheese I'm done wasting gas and money it's sad because I liked this place since I was little smh

Have gone here since I was in preschool and they used to have great customer service and food. My experience today was not great whatsoever. The girl who took my call was extremely rude and when I got there to pick up my order she slammed the hoagies down on the counter. The other women did not seem to care. Will not be returning unfortunately.

I've lived two blocks from this place my entire life. Always gave regular business to them. The attitude is just too much anymore. I dread calling because they're always rude on the phone and just miserable when you walk in. It's clearly not a problem they see worth fixing because this has been going on for some time. Not giving my money to these people anymore.

We got pepperoni square pizza, the works smalll round, and an onion small round. The flavors wete good but every pie needed another minute or 3 in the oven. The thick crust was a bit too soft for my taste. I threw it on a cast iron pan to crisp it up. Also its cash only so fyi. The pizza sauce was pretty good, i prefer a bit more heat and garlic but i understand that many people dont like those flavors, plus its easy for me to add personally. I'd try this place a few more times, see what else they do well

This place is a classic. Known for cheap prices. Yet amazing tasting food. They have got pricey over the years. Their now infamous Italian hoagie started at $2. Then $2.50, then $3. I was surprised that when I called, i found out the hoagie s are now $3.50. (Still worth it) they have all kinds of hoagies,pizza etc.staff is always super nice but might want to call ahead. On the usual busy because of the price nd quality of their establishment.

They are supposed to open at 10 am however the person who opens up does not show up till 10:15 and one of the young ladies with glasses is not friendly on the phone or in person,she is very short with the customers

Never eating at Burger King again. The French toast sticks I got were so hard I couldn’t eat them, I ordered 2 bacon croissant sandwich’s and got 2 bacon, sausage and biscuit things. I could not even eat them because the first one I unwrapped had a hair in the cheese of the sandwich! $10 right in the trash.

Food was ok. Fries good ketchup on bin with pump was watery. Ok though. At first, they were not going to honor free fries, app only. They need to change this ... Not going to use app, and provide personal information. Stop it.

The girl that does the drive thru is horrible. You can't finish a sentence before she rambles over you, sounds like she'd rather be doing anything else. Super rude. Gave an extra star for service only because the guy at the window was cool. No wonder this places ratings suck.

The drive-through order was wrong. Good thing I checked because my son was allergic to one of the ingredients. I went into the establishment to rectify the situation, and there were seven people in line in front of me with the same issue: wrong orders. When I received my order, the burgers were very dry and the cheese was not melted. It's definitely not worth the price it costs for fast food nowadays.

I'm getting really tired of this location. Anytime I ever met a slow person in Pennsylvania, it has always been a Burger King employee at this location. When prepping orders, they have a screen they can read in order to prep meals correctly. You cannot mess up an order if you're reading a screen providing all the toppings you'll need. The info on the screen does not disappear until they physically press a button, allowing the info to disappear. How do they STILL constantly mess up orders? It's like they expect people to be ok with the screw up when that's not the case. I double check every item I receive every time I purchase and I will return every single time they screw up. That only makes the shift worse for them so why screw up on such an easy task? It makes no sense. Close this location just like the other one in Eynon did. We don't need burger kings here if they can't hire competent workers. They keep using the microwave to reheat stuff for customers when you're not supposed to do that. I heard the manager refused to mention her name once when another customer asked. Just take a picture of them when they refuse to give their name and send the image to corporate.

I made an order through the app and everything was very clear. I could see on my order that it came up “double whopper Your way: no ketchup, no mayo” extremely concise communication, yet they heaped spoonfuls of mayo and dumped shredded lettuce directly on top so now my burger is ruined in two ways. This seems to happen every time I order for pickup at this location even though I can plainly see the order went in with obvious instructions. I’m sorry if you hate your job, but please stop ruining my lunch.

My daughter and I went there to eat and at first we stood back to review the menu and decide what we were going to eat, when we were ready no one came to take our order. One worker spilled a drink and was tending to cleaning it but another worker walked right passed and didn’t even acknowledge us, I got so upset and just walked out. There was no one inside and just 1 person at the drive through, they should pay attention and serve guest seeing that it was empty in there. Won’t be going there ever again!

My five star rating is based on the pizzas that I ordered before this week. I don’t know what happened since last week but whiskers and Lily my two cats just won’t eat the pizza anymore. My families cats have been eating this pizza for over 60 years! This is so confusing. I really hope that the pizza prince didn’t change his secret recipe up!

This cheese pizza is the BEST! I don't know the secret but the finished effect is creamy and non acidic and wonderful!!!! Thank you for the best cheesy pizza! Update my second cheese pizza that I've had from Vince the Pizza Prince might have been more delicious than the first cheese pizza I had from Vince the Pizza Prince love the conversation love the pizza prices are reasonable it doesn't upset my tummy I love this place

I placed an order at 5 PM and was told it would be ready by 6. I didn’t get it until 6:30. When I got home, my veggie Stromboli—which I clearly asked for no mushrooms—was full of mushrooms. My Italian hoagie had one side completely burnt, and the pizza was so overdone it was hard as a rock. I called to explain the issue, and the employee put me on the phone with the owner. Instead of an apology, he told me it sounded like I was “having a bad day.” He said if I didn’t like mushrooms, I shouldn’t be ordering a veggie Stromboli at all. I told him I’ve been a loyal customer for three decades and drive 30 minutes for their food. He said, “I don’t care how far you’re driving. It means nothing to me.” No apology. No refund. Just told me not to come back. After 30 years of supporting this business, I’m done. If this is how they treat loyal customers, I’d seriously reconsider ordering here Thank you for confirming that most of what I shared actually happened. To clarify, I never said I had a mushroom allergy. I simply requested no mushrooms, which is a very common and reasonable request—especially for a business that has been around as long as yours. Had someone simply apologized or offered to remake the Stromboli correctly, none of this would have escalated. As for your version of the phone call: I was upset, yes, but that stemmed from being dismissed, insulted, and told my loyalty and long drive meant “nothing.” That’s not how you treat someone who’s supported your business for three decades. Whether or not you offered to refund one part of the order, it doesn’t excuse the tone or the lack of basic respect and courtesy. I’m not responding to argue—I’m just sad and disappointed that after all these years, this is how it ended.

I used to live in south Scranton and loved your Dad's pizza on Cedar Ave, in the 70's and followed him to Pittston Ave. I've moved to Florida and tried making your pizza for my wife and sisters that grew up in south side. And love your pizza. My sister picked up a couple pies last week while visiting PA. My pizza is very close but I think I'm missing seasonings. I know it's a long shot, but can you help a Vince's pizza lover out?

I've never had a pizza that smells like cat food before. Not sure what they use in their sauce, but the pizza made us nauseated.

Great pizza at a great price. Taste just like it did when I was kid. Delicious!! Once you walk in the doors it’s like your transported back to the 90s or early 2000s, everyone is so friendly, chatting, just a great atmosphere. Feels just like it did when I was a kid picking up pizza with my grandfather. 10/10 highly recommend !!

First they got my mountain dew wrong but that didn't bother me. Then they also got my girlfriend's coffee wrong and I started wanting a refund. Then I noticed the beverages weren't even located outside the staff area, cause it's Scranton. Bleh. 2 stars.

Supposed to be free coffee day. Pull up order large unsweetened ice tea and ice coffee for free coffee….girl says you have to order coffee we just did told us again we have to order coffee….said forget it. Get to window told her the coffee was for free coffee…. Said again we have to order we just did …. ice coffee then tells us price and gives us the ice tea and then hands us a HOT coffee. So we ended up with a HOT Coffee. Wasn’t going to waste anymore time. As least we didn’t pay for it. all I can say is WOW WOW so proud of your workers.

My main concern is for the cold brews I get and that they constantly put these large stickers over the hole where you put your straw and it’s impossible to pull the sticker off without the residue and I’m finding the residue inside my drinks. I love this Dunkin typically but I’m getting really tired of finding the stickers layered over the top of the coffee lid and I don’t even get why cause the sticker on the sides of the cup are sufficient with details of my order. I wish they’d change this because I’m going to have to go to a different Dunkin.

Worst customer service in this dunkin, every time I order some thing they do something wrong and what ever I order they give me some thing wrong. I ordered mocha latte hot they give me cold and half the glass and they not even busy at this morning.

Chaos at its finest is the best way to explain my experience at this dunkin donuts on moosic st. Scranton,Pa. Orders were wrong and no one told us our order was even ready.it was sitting on counter for 5 min .. I asked for my order and then had to pour my own expresso shots into my ice coffee. Which were in another small cup on the side. After this I noticed half your employees were on there phones not paying attention to us or what they are supposed to be doing . I guess it all boils down to your management. You'll might want to check into a remedy for th8s store. Sincerely William J May

Brand new store, great location. Outside is one of the nicest Dunkin I have seen, easy access for handicapped, large wide sidewalk and entrance area. Two doors to come in and out of, convenient for busy times. Large seating area, beautifully decorated. Kiosk to buy Dunkin items such as travel mugs, inner tubes shaped as a donut, coffee, etc. Large windows for plenty of sunlight and people watching. If you sit at the bar, you get a straight view of people leaning their butts on window. We had to move because one lady must have had an underwear malfunction and had her hand way down her pants. Butt seriously, don't let that stop you for coming here, it's an awesome place, and the show is free.

I never mind waiting. I work in customer service, I understand when things get busy. However, when I pull up to the window to see employees just playing on their phones, that ticks me off. AND I asked kindly for no ice and no whipped cream. I had both ice and whipped cream. Sent them back, the coffee was given back with ice. I would have sent if back again if waiting for 20 minutes didn't push my schedule. Worst dunkin location by far.
