The 50 best cheap eats in Chula Vista

I’ve been eating at Hodad’s for years, whenever I visit San Diego. I still believe that this is the best burger you can get in SD. You can taste the freshness and tenderness in the beef and vegetables to a whole other level. The atmosphere can be polarizing but I’m a huge fan of the plastered stickers and license plates everywhere. The service every time has been wonderful, too. It’s a great spot. That being said… they are just getting way too expensive. $21 for a double burger with no sides or a drink, is a bit much. There is a service charge of 3%, but then you are also expected to leave a tip. I don’t get that part at all. I get that these days prices are high, but so is the competition, and for $20+ my burger should at least have a side order and a small soft drink. I don’t remember them being this expensive in the past. Overall, amazing food and great service/atmosphere, so they deserve the 5 stars, but the menu prices and additional service fees are far too high. As much as I love the food, I probably won’t be returning until these prices are figured out.

Stopped in while visiting the area to get a burger and I'm glad that I did. I ordered a single patty bacon cheese burger which was more than enough for me along with onion rings. Both items were delicious and the service was great. If you're looking for a good burger you can't go wrong with this spot.

I arrived for a pretty late lunch since I was in the area for a conference and have been meaning to try out Hodads. I came around 3 PM on a Monday and there was no one else in the shop but me which meant I got super quick service. I opted for the single cheeseburger with onion rings and a Dr. Pepper. The burger was pretty good and the onion rings were amazing. It was definitely worth the 20 minute walk that it took to get there. I'd go back in the future just for the onion rings alone! The best part is that they give you 2 stickers at the end of your meal! I'm pretty sure you're supposed to stick the stickers on the walls of the establishment somewhere but I wanted to take mine.

Saw them on Triple D, and had to try. It definitely lived up to the hype. Burger was great, the atmosphere was fantastic (be on the lookout for the “run forest” license plate). We ate in the car, and had a great time. Staff was friendly and attentive. Burger was a GREAT size. Definitely coming back!

Like many, I’m just in town for a work trip. I’m always looking to try new spots when I’m traveling. This one was great! My kind of music (hard rock, indie, hip hop) a great mix of tunes, great vibes, super nice staff. I am going to make it a point to go back (after a few more runs) this week before I leave! Also, the food and beer were delicious 🤤 (Guido burger and both IPAs on tap)

Incredible burgers with vegan options. Onion rings were absolutely fantastic. Service got a little slow for paying the bill, but otherwise we had an excellent time. Looking forward to trying a beer!

Definitely one of the best burger's in San Diego never disappoints burgers are big and delicious I personally think the French fries are the best I always get a strawberry shake and they are made with real ice cream hodads is definitely a must try service is always excellent super friendly staff this one is downtown so parking is kinda difficult

Being from Texas, naturally, I am reluctant to write this review. These were some of if not the best tacos I’ve ever had in my life. Price is a bit lofty, nearly $5 a taco but they do pack the tacos with meat so they are very filling.

Always love the quick, friendly service and great food. I usually get the cabeza and lengua tacos but everything is good. They have people dedicated to keeping the place clean so you never have to worry about a dirty table.

We've tried several Mexican food during our trip to California and Tacos El Gordo was one of the best, they don't skimp on the ingredients. We arrived at 5:00 pm on a weekday and it was packed. Ordering was easy and efficient because they had separate lines for the different types of food and everything was labelled clearly. We will definitely visit this place again.

I don’t even know where to start—this taco spot blew me away. I ordered 4 tacos (adobada, lengua, chorizo, and cabeza) and each one was absolutely beautiful. Fresh, flavorful, and just perfect all around. But the real star for me was the Mulas de Adobada… hands down one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. It was magical—fantastic flavor, cooked to perfection, and just unbelievably good. Honestly, this place is next-level amazing.

The softest and juiciest lengua I've had in Cali. Hands down home made! Well run business. Nothing can beat this place, seriously. Parking in the back but most people park near JC Penny and walked over

I really wanted to like this place, but honestly, it was a letdown. The food looked messy and thrown together, the tortilla was soggy and greasy, and the meat was overcooked and dry. The sauce tasted more like watered-down dressing than salsa, and it completely overpowered everything else. On top of that, the presentation was sloppy — my taco looked like it had been sitting out too long before it reached the table. For the price and hype, I expected way better flavor and quality. Sadly, this didn’t taste fresh or authentic. I won’t be coming back.

My go to for tacos in Vegas, but first time trying it in SD. Definitely has the same great tasty food and funky line up system, but this one seemed packed with tourists making the system worse. Thankfully I know from my trips to Vegas that you don’t have to wait in separate lines if you want to try different meats, but they weren’t as happy about it here as they are in Vegas. Asada is the way to go here, but always order an extra taco de Adobada and tripa to round out my meal. Really large parking in back, but tables were pretty packed and had to wait to eat. Suggest ordering to go when really crowded. Seriously felt like a busload of tourists were dropped off there or something. Service was pretty good and they didn’t like it, but led me to the front of the line for my other meats, so cool enough.

Nice restaurant in a very nice area. It’s a huge outdoor restaurant so there is plenty of seating. Staff were very nice. Most memorable was Jon and Louie. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. The food was good but the salad I had fell a little short of something. The fries are so fresh and delicious and The cookies are DELICIOUS and so are the milkshakes. Parking is a bit hard to find and it’s metered so be mindful.

The food was honestly really really mid. The chicken seems like a decent quality, but it honestly had no taste. It needed a lot more seasoning and taste and maybe breading? The coleslaw did not taste like coleslaw, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t coleslaw. The biscuits were good, but really dry. The fries were good. Atmosphere was also really nice, we were there in the late late evening, so it was nice and not crowded. Parking really sucked

I was near convention center and in downtown San Diego and we were craving for some good fried chicken . I was googling and found this top rated place . It had about 4.6 stars and when I went there , it was crowded ! More crowd = better confidence for me about the restaurant:) The bar was good .. They had some home brewed IPAs and some bottled beers.. service was ok. Could’ve been better . It was crowded and everyone was busy with customers .. wish there were more employees in shift and making the service much better . I liked hazy IPAs . Went well with the chicken . Price wise wasn’t very expensive . Order five piece half fiery chicken .. I generally like it spicy.. the chicken was very crisp and tasted OK.. was a bit oily, and the fiery spicy flavor was like the Nashville hot chicken . Quantity was also a lot.. couldn’t finish even half of it. Thought of giving a three or 3.5., but gave it a 4 ..

Fancy chicken sandwiches in a lively location. Great people-watching on the sidewalks of Little Italy. Plenty of places to sit, very open-air and breezy. Planes soar over head with the airport nearby but the noise isn’t too loud. We ordered the “All American Chick” and the “Cali Drip” sandwiches with an order of “Shack Fries” on the side. A small order of fries was surprisingly generous and enough for two people (or one if you’re extra hungry). The “All American Chick” was delicious and full of flavor. Even the pickles were special. It was tangy and mustard-y and messy in the best way. The “Cali Drip” was more of a panini-type sandwich since it’s served on a torta and cut in half. Good for sharing! The jalapeños add a nice kick of spice without being too much. Really good. Fries were crispy and it was fun to try the different condiments offered at the sauce station. Having a roll of paper towels on the table is great because these sandwiches were juicy! Both kid-friendly with corn hole and adult-friendly with a bar located next to the ordering window. You can catch the Padres game on the wall-mounted TVs too. Very fun very good.

They have the best fries I've ever had before. The tenders were also really good. Their Sriracha thousand island and pineapple mustard is really good. They had messed up our order and we also got a free sandwich. It was the Cali drip. It was amazing. Had a kick to it because of the jalepenos. I definitely recommend this spot.

Their ambiance and food is great. Love their baja chop salad, fried chicken and biscuits are delicious. This is one of those rare spots that is equally great for adults hoping to enjoy food and drinks, as well as families with children. It is pet friendly.

Excellent place to eat! Great tenders, Cobb salad and Cole slaw. So glad we stumbled upon this place. It’s also on the flight path, so lots of big planes landing right above us. We will go back!

Las Cuatro Milpas is a popular spot in Logan Heights that many locals rave about. The food is good and definitely has that homemade, traditional feel. It’s a no-frills place with a strong sense of local culture. While I enjoyed the meal, it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. The flavors were solid, but not as exceptional as I had been led to expect. That said, the flour tortillas are a standout, fresh, soft, and definitely worth trying. Overall, it’s a good spot for a one-time visit to get a taste of local flavor and tradition, especially if you’re in the area. Just manage expectations if you’ve heard it’s the best in town.

Took a ride down to San Diego, for what I expected to be some fantastic tacos. The service was impeccable, as the ladies working the orders counter treated you like family. However, the food itself was less than impressive. Hard shell tacos were not crispy nor hot. Beef inside was dry. Lastly, it feels like you’re dining on top of a tortilla “sweat shop”, as the ladies hustle all around you, trying to quickly bust out fresh tortillas.

Every time I have been here has been absolutely Wonderful! The food, Ambiance, historical setting and service have been outstanding! When you arrive there is usually a line running out of the front entrance. 1-Get in line. 2-Order your food and ask for the food to go or for eating at the restaurant. 3-Wait at the counter for your food. 4-Pay or your food. 5- leave a tip for the hard working individuals employed at this establishment. 6- if you are eating in, it is all open seating. Find an open space which suits your needs Enjoy! Ask for the Chorizo and egg bowl (which is mixed with fresh pinto beans and red rice! So very yummy! Also order the tacos de pollo (chicken tacos). The tacos are filled with shredded chicken with a few diced potatos, shredded iceburg lettuce, crema and cotija cheese. The chicken filling is expertly seasoned by an Abuelita who knows what she is doing!! The Chorizo bowls come with a red salsa and freshly made flour tortillas. Outs no tanding! Oh..also pick up a dozen (or two) of freshly made flour tortillas to take home.

Very underwhelming. Chorizo con huevos had 0 chorizo, but a load of salty beans instead. Tamales only come with pork and lack flavor, I've had better tamales at a Mexican grocery store in Minnesota. Tacos were not bad for the price and had generous amount of meat. Can't eat inside half hour before closing. Cash only.

Been to Las Cuatro Milpas many times over the past 40 years and to hear of it's sale and potential closing is very sad. So I flew back to SD to get perhaps one last taste of the delicious food. Pork Burrito and a side of rice and beans.

I'm a San Diego native, and have never been here before. Since I know it's for sale, I wanted to go. The line is long, but it moves pretty fast. All the food is cooked to order, right in front of you. The fresh corn and flour tortillas are also made while you watch. The rice and beans mixed in a bowl is to die for. They only have a few things on the menu but all of them will blow your mind.

Overall this place had really delicious authentic Mexican food. Coming from a Mexican family I can say it’s pretty spot on. Reminds me a lot of Mexican food from the pueblitos. Great portions and great prices for the quality and quantity. Only thing was the chorizo con huevos could be better. The flavor was good but the ratio of rice and beans to the chorizo and huevos could be improved. It’s more like a rice and beans plate with a sprinkle of eggs and chorizo. A LOT of rice and beans which I didn’t know it came with and barely any actual eggs or chorizo. I ordered a side of rice and beans with it because I didn’t know the huevos and chorizos already came with it and the menu doesn’t state it.

I had already been to this place before to try their pizza, but this time I ordered delivery because it was late and I was craving something tasty. Honestly, everything was amazing, I loved it! Now I know exactly where to order from next time I want something delicious at night. I also ordered the pesto pasta, and I totally forgot to take a picture because as soon as I tasted it, I loved it and just kept eating. I didn’t realize until I had already finished it! So I guess that means it did its job really well! 😂

Stopped in this gem during a little italy food tour and loved the family style of comfort, casual feel with high end authentic Italian food. Highly recommend, this was once visited by president Obama and even had a special room dedicated to the president. Enjoy!

Came here in my constant quest for good pizza. Got a slice of cheese. Fire. Waited inside the place. Walls busy with art and stuff. Seems like there was some music playing. Place seemed a little tight but I ate in the out front seating area. I had drinks from elsewhere. They didn't bother me about it. The slice was priced lower than other slices in the area. Go by here for a slice if you are in the area.

Good pizza. Came out piping hot after reheat and the crust (edges and bottom) were nice and toasty with a slight crunch. About 7 small tables for indoor seating, or just get it to-go.

Pizza by the slice is very good here. There were a lot of choices. We tried the Hawaiian, the tomato basil, a mushroom and a slice of pepperoni & sausage. The crust was thin and perfectly crispy on the edges and still chewy inside. Staff were friendly. There's indoor seating, but we ordered to go. We've eaten here before and will come back again.

To be honest, walking into Landini's on a Sunday afternoon, the pizzas looked a bit old. Lots of options to chose from but at the end I got the Meatball Ricotta slice. Much better than I thought it was going to be. Really nice crust and Ricotta but not as good as Slice House. Also the price point was quite high at $6 per slice.

Landini's Pizzeria is a true gem in the heart of Little Italy. The pizza is delicious, with that perfect balance of flavor and texture that keeps you coming back for more. One of the best parts? They stay open late, making it a great go-to spot for a late-night bite. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a great vibe that matches the energy of the neighborhood. It’s clear they take pride in what they do. If there’s one small downside, it’s the limited outdoor seating, on a beautiful starry night, it would be great to enjoy your pizza al fresco. Still, that’s a minor detail compared to everything else this place gets right. Highly recommended!

It was alright, but I was expecting more from one of SD’s highest rated breakfast spots. It does have a homestyle feel, but service was very slow even if it wasn’t that crowded. The frittata was average tasting, and the potatoes were bland. The waffles were pretty good.

Amazing little restaurant. The owner is one of the most interesting people you’ll ever meet. She is so happy to see and talk to customers. Food is amazing! The fresh fruit is super sweet and fresh, the pancakes are huuuge and super good! Even their homemade salsa is amazing! I totally recommend the protein pancake ! If you ever have the chance, go!

Judy Foreman is a LEGEND. The owner works the tables, making everyone feel welcome and like family. She is amazing! Got the waffle and it was light and fluffy. Also came with a side of fruit. The staff come around often to refill coffee and water often. Highly recommend this local establishment!

The staff were friendly, but the overall experience left a lot to be desired. Service was very slow (about an hour and a half for food), coffee was forgotten twice, and no one checked in during the meal. One of the orders came out wrong, and a child at our table was promised crayons twice but never received them. The pancakes were dense, a little burnt, and had a bitter aftertaste. I appreciated the friendliness, but the service and food quality need improvement.

What a delightful spot. Shady outdoor table, local jazz band and the lovely owner Judy making everyone feel welcome. The food was delicious and plentiful. Best potatoes. Worth every penny.

This is easily one of my favorite finds for a diner in San Diego. The ambience is unique and sends a message that is very clearly pro-human rights, which is a breath of fresh air in today's society. All of the art work and personal mementos and trinkets that line the wall give a welcoming feel for all. The owner Judy is a lovely human being who acknowledges and interacts with all of her guests and is an inspiration for all. She is so entertaining and beyond charming. It's like coming home to eat a home cooked breakfast. The food is delicious. The home style potatoes and the giant cinnamon rolls are my favorite, but truly you can't go wrong with anything on the menu here.

We were seated outside in front of the restaurant. Service was good, food was great quality. The owner is very involved with her customers. Many regulars! A band added a very nice atmosphere during our breakfast! Highly recommend!

This restaurant usually have long waits, we were lucky to go on a weekday and it was not busy at around 10am. The service was good but a little slow for my preference. She was very nice though and explained all the dishes we had questions on. Food tasted delicious and it didn’t take that long, maybe because they were not that busy. The concept of this restaurant is good, a little small but still aesthetically appealing. There’s only one bathroom but it was very clean! Parking is in front of the restaurant I believe and it’s $15 or $20 to park unless you find street parking or public parking. I would definitely be going back!

We walked passed this place on a Thursday at 8 am it was completely empty and we decided to go in the next day after. We are from Texas and we're visiting a few days and didn't want to eat hotel breakfast. The Friday we went in it was pretty busy but were sat fairly quickly. Mind you just myself and my husband, we waited about 10 minutes for someone to come over, while another family of 5 got sat and within 30 seconds someone was there to take their order. Our server was walking passed us and stopped in her tracks and was quick to ask if we were ready. We made our order and it was out within 7 minutes before our drinks came out. We both got "hot" lattes but they were warm at best. The food was good, again not hot but the flavor was there. Our server never came back after dropping off our food, we had to get another server to grab our check after waiting another 15 minutes after we were done eating. We're not the type not to tip well, but this was a $65 check for 2 people for breakfast, so no she did not even get a 10% tip. We decided to give it a go again the Sunday we were leaving. It's about 8 am, empty, like 2 families of 2 or 3 people there, she asks if we are walk-in or reservation. I was confused because there was literally no line and a bunch of tables. We were sat, the server comes over, we both got the caffe de olla, again warm at best. The food again out within 5-7 minutes, flavors seem to be there but it definitely feels like they rush the food and the service. Server came back a few times to check on us, waited about 5 minutes after we were done to get our check. I asked her for our check and she comes over and asks "has anyone given you you're check?" I was again confused since she was our server and had her little handy dandy machine on her, like was someone else supposed to give it us. Service absolutely needs to be improved and maybe take a look at turning up the heat on the food and coffee because everything is warm/lukewarm.

Edited on 11/06/25: I went in person and omg yassssss best chilaquiles in town and awesome Service as well. Avoid delivery though because the 30 minutes it sits in the container gets them soggy even if you get the “deconstructed”..idk if maybe they didn’t follow this request but just go in person. Pro tip, make a reservation online to avoid long wait. I really want to like this place since they are known for the “best chilaquiles in town”. Overall I wasn’t too impressed. My chilaquiles were soggy, apparently because I got them “constructed” but since I ordered delivery it really was not, they were simply placed in a to go container. It seems silly to charge extra for “deconstructed” version to maintain the crispyness, it should just be common sense to use best judgement when it comes to that. I was confused in regards to why the beans were so watery, am I suppose to drink them? Also they were nasty and tasted like they came from a can, I threw them away. I was initially mostly pleased with the $6 freshly squeezed orange juice but was expecting something extra since they advertise it comes in an “adult cup”. I later found something floating around in there..coulda been mold from not cleaning their squeeze device properly? The flavor of the chilaquiles and carnitas was really good. I have yet yet to experience the “best chilaquiles in town”. Soggy is not it.

Great spot for authentic, delicious Mexican food and brunch! Be prepared for a wait if you don’t have a reservation—but trust me, it’s well worth it. We came on the Saturday of Mother’s Day weekend, and the place was fully prepared for the crowds: organized, professional, and efficient. There’s a large paid parking, street parking, and a garage all conveniently located right across the street and next to the restaurant, which is a huge plus for any downtown location. One unique touch I appreciated was the display of all their menu items both on the phone and behind glass inside the actual restaurant—it makes it easy to choose what looks most appetizing. I ordered the El Patrón platter, a hearty breakfast sampler with chilaquiles, beans, two eggs, and French toast. The portion was just right—I cleaned the plate. For dessert, I had the churros, which were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Simple, but perfectly done. The only downside was the specialty coffee. At $9, it didn’t live up to the name or price—the milk in there tasted borderline expired...Still, I highly recommend this place! They have several other locations too, in case downtown isn’t your scene. Thank you for a wonderful experience! 10/10.

This was my first time trying Cocina 35. I have seen this restaurant with huge lines before which have turned me off but this time I decided to give it a try. I wish I would have tried this place sooner as I didn't realize how quickly this establishment attends its guest which allows the line outside to move very quickly. The food was absolutely delicious. We tried the chilaquiles with carne asada and the agua de jamaica was delicious as well. All the servers were very welcoming and very attentive. I will definitely be returning.

Let's start with the customer service. It was not good service at all. I saw 2 other couples from the walk in list, that got seated after my husband and I, not only get their orders taken but they got their food and drinks before we did. I ordered the Patron plate with a little of everything. The chilaquiles were tortilla chips with a light smear of bland salsa. The beans were watered down. The avocado was not ripe. The french toast was stiff. This place is overrated for the quality of the food and service. The decor and walls inside are not aesthetic at all. The cherry on top was after paying for this mediocre Mexican meal, I had to use the restroom. A Cocina 35 employee finished using the restroom and did not have the decency to inform me that the restroom needed to be restocked with toilet paper. Luckily I had pocketed a couples napkins and was able to use them. I will never be returning to any of these Cocina 35 establishments and highly recommend you seek another restaurant choice over this business any day.

My main issue is that everything here is pretty pricey and you don't get something exceptional in exchange. Specialty sushi rolls hover on the $17 area upwards to $20. The bowl of ramen pictured was $20 and pretty mid. Dry pieces of chicken, ok noodles, so so broth. The place itself is chaotic and the service is rushed to keep up. It's open later than most places around so maybe that explains why it was so busy on a Sunday night. Maybe there's something I missed. I don't know. 3.5 stars.

Decided I wanted to come in by myself to enjoy a bowl of ramen and some sake. I was immediately welcomed. The atmosphere was very pleasant. Staff were kind and the food was delicious. I had an amazing time despite eating alone. The staff member “Go” was kind and checked in on me often. Thank you for the delicious food and hospitality, Go! I will be coming back! Thank you for the Hi-Chew candy too! Arigato!

Nice sushi place to come and try, got the hawaiin roll it was delicious, also the Abre la Boca Mucho was good i would recomend it. Parking is Limited sometimes but overall good place to come and try.

Could not recommend this place enough. The owner was a great guy, couple that with a cozy atmosphere, great service, and delicious food. You can't go wrong. If you're in the area, snag any roll off the menu, or order a teriyaki bowl. You will not be disappointed.

I've been there at least 4 times, but this last time really disappointed, they took at least half an hour to take our order even though we has press the button they had for service and we could hear it going off, it was me, two of my friends and a kid. When we finally order food didn't take too long (thankfully) food there is always good you can taste the quality. Once we were done eating we stayed there finishing our drinks just talking the place was not busy if it would've been we would have left so someone else could have a table but it wasn't so i don't understand why they just kept staring at us as if they wanted us to leave wich made it VERY uncomfortable for all of us. Don't know if I'll go back to be honest.

Amazing. Sushi. Rolls. Been buying sushi here for three years now and it's one of the best, most consistent sushi experiences I've ever had. The staff is friendly, professional, and accommodating. Wait times for sit down are decent, wait times for pick up are a bit long and they should work on that. If you're picking-up I would recommend ordering ahead by phone and giving them an extra 10-15 minutes no matter how long they say it'll take, I've always had to wait extra time. The wait is worth it though so I'm not too upset by it. The price is reasonable, the rolls I pick from are around $15-20 a roll but they do have more affordable options (~$10). They're a good size, flavorful, and taste fresh. Our go-to's are the Chula Vista Roll, the Bonita Roll, and the Orange-Lemon Roll. Plus, the soups are good too ! The restaurant is a little tight as the majority of the space is the kitchen. But it's a cozy space with a calm vibe. You can see the cooks for the most part but they do have some tables that are more private. Bathrooms are clean and the restaurant is too. Great food and experience !

Grind House Coffee is a fantastic coffee shop with excellent coffee and friendly baristas. The atmosphere is laid-back and chill, making it a great spot to relax or get some work done. Their coffee, which I believe comes from the Northwest, is rich and flavorful, though I can’t quite recall the brand. Seating is somewhat limited, but they offer small café tables and bar counter seating. One of my favorite things about this place is how pet-friendly they are—my Frenchie, Bella, always gets a complimentary pup cup with a little dog treat on top! Beyond great coffee, they also have a kitchen serving delicious breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, and a selection of lunch options. Another highlight is their community board, where locals can post about upcoming events and advertise services like dog walking or music lessons. What really sets them apart, though, is their pricing. Coffee can be so overpriced these days, but Grind House Coffee offers some of the best prices in downtown Chula Vista. Their drinks and food are very reasonably priced, making it an even better place to visit regularly. Overall, it’s a welcoming and cozy spot that I always enjoy visiting!

The place is small and not the usual asthetic coffee shops but once you are there it’s a really nice vibe. The girl who took my order was really sweet. I got a cold brew with vanilla foam it was really good. There is free WiFi. They are pet friendly. Overall great

I really like this spot. It’s quaint, aesthetically quirky, and the staff is exceptional. It’s smack dab in the middle of Third Avenue, making it a great stop on your way to other events, or a nice place to chill for a while and work or chat with friends. The coffee here is so good. Super flavorful, perfectly acerbic, has a great finish. I especially like their lattes. Grindhouse is a must-try when you’re hanging out in Chula Vista! Update: Came by today around 3:30pm and ordered an Arnold Palmer and a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. The Arnold Palmer was your regular Arnold Palmer, but was refreshing and enjoyable. The sandwich was really nice! The bun was high-quality, the egg was thick and tasty, and the aioli on it had a nice consistency and kick. I want to come back soon and try a few other espresso drinks.

I just had their Cuban sandwich! Wow! Super delicious. I love mustard and it just balanced the sandwich so well. I had no idea they served breakfast. Such a great find. Highly recommend.

Cozy, neighborly vibe, struck up a conversation with my “bench mate” and despite or 40 mile distance have remained in contact. Easy parking and laid back yet efficient staff. I’ll be back. Super cool scratch kitchen, make their own patties, buns, etc. Angel treated us quite nicely at the end of our ride the other day, hosting us well with attention and delicious food. Had the burger, lettuce style, worth it! Had a couple of my buddies garlic fries, and while not normally my thing, also delicious. Check em out, highly recommended, love the unique mural on the patio, especially the Bullet Bill and Pacman! Thanks Angel and your staff, we will be back!

Came across the Balboa South by pure chance. My wife my granddaughter and I. What a pleasure it was to discover this wonderful little restaurant bar and grill. Just so happened that the proprietor Mariana took care of us and what a pleasant experience we had. The burgers were great, the margaritas splendid (mango). It was a unanimous decision, we will all be back! Thanks again Mariana!

Ughhhh, I didn’t want to give such a low star rating, but eek! I’ve had Balboa South as takeout, and it was actually really good so that is what brought me back- although it’s been a couple of years. Let me just start off by saying that the customer service was immaculate and exceeded expectations. There were a few different servers who checked on us and they were very attentive. I believe one of them may have been a manager, and he was very kind and accommodating. I really appreciate excellent customer service these days, so they definitely didn’t lack in that category. We came on a Friday evening and sat outside in the back patio. The nice, cool air & breeze was great. The indoor portion of the restaurant did not have air condition, I’m not sure if it was broken or they just don’t have it running. But it was very uncomfortable and stuffy. Now for the cocktails and food. My tamarindo margarita was absolutely awful. It didn’t have any taste to it! It was pretty much watered down. The food was meh. The garlic fries were the best thing we had. The classic Balboa burger just didn’t hit. The patty was overcooked and dry, the whole burger fell apart. There was nothing really keeping the lettuce, tomato, and onion together- not even the cheese. If there was supposed to be sauce, it didn’t exist. You can see in my pictures that the buns are totally dry. The BLT didn’t have any mayo either. It was so dry I think part of it stayed lodged in my esophagus. I had to gulp down my watered margarita, and I didn’t even get buzzed from it! It wasn’t terrible but it’s definitely not the same taste I remember a couple of years ago. Chula Vista doesn’t have very many burger joints so it’s a bummer it was a letdown. Just try to kick it up a couple notches. You have a great thing going, but you need to install air condition and jazz up the food.

This place is great, me and my family always enjoy our visit. I’ve had the regular burger, which is outstanding. But what I really want to highlight, is that it’s definitely the best vegan burger that I’ve ever had. The homemade black bean patty is on point and I look forward to it every single time. Gr at tacos, anything you order is good here. I love that every type of taco has its own sauce and condiments, adobada has a unique sauce, asada has a guacamole sauce, etc etc, I don't recall other taco joints (apart from fancy ones) that do it like they do.

A great taco shop with a street-side countertop and additional picnic seating with cover. The tacos were really good, especially the al pastor with the avocado cream. The carne asada left something to be desired—it was a bit rare for my taste. The salsa was super good, though. Quick and simple spot with authentic Tijuana street tacos. It’s also very cheap.

By far the most memorable tacos of our whole trip, we ordered 4 pastor tacos, which were AMAZING. We got bar seats right in front of the spit meat. Greeted and served by the taco barista who managed the spit roast. He was super friendly and prompt, we threw in a tostado which was dry and stale so I’d avoid it at all cost. The smell alone from the meat was tantalizing. The juices and accompaniments paired perfectly together, had a little heat to it but delicious overall. I will mention, service from the cashier who seemed to be the owner was absurd. He was just a jerk, he saw us coming to close the bill and literally walked off without a word. Then seeing as we’re VERY foreign, we tried our best to communicate but he had a very off putting attitude. Thankfully a local was there to guide our way through. Tacos were bomb, service from him left a terrible impression. There's a ton of other locations which we’d happily visit instead.

Food was ok for the first and last time, the toilets were so dirty and had no paper and hand soap. Definitely won't come back. The lady who assisted us was herself embarrassed because she had to give me laundry detergent they luckily had on their grill.

The tacos were ok... we were expecting a bit more quality; and although they are not bad we felt that the quality could have been better; for example the meat was a bit rough and overall the flavor was just ok.. again not bad tacos but in our opinion not the best they can surely put a bit more effort and bring the quality up the tacos would be great.

I came here for lunch today. I had the asada, cabeza and lengua tacos. The best by far were the asada tacos. The cabeza and lengua were not as tasty. The asada torts was amazing!!!! Tacos were 27pesos, torta was 65, and sodas were 27 a piece. FYI They only take cash. Will defend make a pit stop for asada tacos and torta next time!!!!

My friend and I came here to celebrate our birthdays together on a Saturday night. Definitely recommend making a reservation especially on the weekend as the place fills up fast. Plenty of parking available in the lot. The restaurant itself is very cute and cozy. There's both inside and outside seating available. The service was great and efficient. The menu has a wide variety of options to choose from and lots of different wines and cocktails available. The food was pretty good. It's worth a try if you're in the area! Food and drink review: Complimentary bread (always a plus)! Pinot Grigio: Very smooth and tasty. Caesar salad: (3/5) I was expecting it to be amazing here but it was very simple and not worth the hype. The fresh black pepper did help with the taste. Beef filet mignon carpaccio: (3.5/5) This was an interesting dish. The fried capers on top were definitely an interesting touch. Very small serving for the price. Wouldn't order again. Calamari fritti: (4/5) This was pretty good! Nothing spectacular. It was cooked well and had good texture. Bolognese Penne dish: (4/5) This was huge! It was very flavorful. Came with delicious melted cheese on top and I topped with chili flakes for an extra kick. You can definitely share this with the table. Lasagna: (4/5) It was pretty good but it was missing something. I wouldn’t order again.

The good: The lamb was on points The creamy mass potatoes under the lamb was on point. I don't know the exact name but they had these potato, cheese, bacon, breadcrumb balls that are so delicious with the dipping sauce. The bad: We actually sat outside and I felt a little neglected by the time we left My water had not been refilled so I was actually a little parched. The Ugly: When it's busy in here, it is extremely hard to get from outside to the bathroom. I felt like I was going to run into someone's table. Overall: The food was so delicious.I am more than likely going to come back but I am not going to come back during peak hours.

It was great . Ordered on line and food was ready at the time we requested. We had dined in before and ambiance was nice and the food was good but portions were surprisingly small ( Albondigas ). They looked big in the picture. I would rather have 2 BIG meatballs than be staring at 4 tiny little ones.

Wife and I regularly go here for some excellent selections of tapas and always the Caesars salad. Great Happy Hour prices and the tasty food never disappoints. Gil always provides excellent service at the bar and we regularly meet very nice people also enjoying the food and drinks at the bar. House guacamole is fresh and I enjoy the cazuelita de costilla de res and always the cazuelita de gambas. Hector also provides great and friendly service at the bar.

Took one of my best friends to dinner here for her birthday unfortunately she is allergic to shrimp so she was unable to have the paella. Her bf is vegetarian, he had salmon w/ veggies, I had paella, brought it home lasted me til next day. We actually forgot to take any pictures !!!!

Food is ok. Staff is not overly friendly, but welcoming. Service was slow, price for brunch was $27.. I think the brunch is overpriced. Some of the food was fresh and tasty, others were stale and flavorless..I wont be going back any time soon . The best item was the smoked fish . The worst was the dry chilaquiles and the scrambled eggs that were almost crunchy on the edges.

I am staying in downtown and saw this breakfast place super busy on the weekend. So I tried it on a weekday and it was not too busy, I was able to get a booth around 10:30 am. I was not aware Richard Walker's had multiple locations. For food I ordered the Baked Pecan Pancake which has Georgia Pecans and Cinnamon Glaze. This was such a unique pancake, it had nice flavor and sweetness! It was quite large for one person so I also took some of it for home. Food was solid but servers were really attentive and nice!

Paid $50 for breakfast for 2 people that included a burned apple pancake. (Compare my photo to the others on here). Apologies were the only compensation I received. Bacon was good, and we were seated quickly. Stained glass pretty.

This restaurant always has a line out the door and now I know why best breakfast I have had in years. They offer a baked omelette that was out of this world. I had pigs in a blanket and my son had The Omelette bacon and pancakes that were absolutely excellent. I think it may be the best bacon I have had in any restaurant!

Love this place and the atmosphere was just right. Never been to San Diego and I just feel at home. My family love it so much, they wanted to live in San Diego. Never knew the restaurant was right around the corner from the hotel that we were staying at . My favorite breakfast was the German danish, thank you the food was delicious.

Came here on my Birthday for Breakfast. Impossibly good. There’s a lineup in the morning but it moved quickly. Got a seat inside and the wait staff were immediately of service and really, really great. They have a birthday pancake that is small(ish) and super tasty and comes with a candle. They even poured me a coffee to go!

I grabbed some lasagna at Civico 1845 while traveling through San Diego and it was pretty solid. I can't say its as good as my grandma use to make but thats a hard mark to hit. The staff was nice, the space was beautiful, and the food was really good. If you're looking for a nice Italian restaurant in the area.. its an easy recommendation.

This was the best pasta dish I've ever had! The seafood pasta (don't remember the name but it had shrimp, mussels, clams, squid, octopus, etc. In an insanely good red pasta sauce and homemade noodles). First time in San Diego and this was my favorite restaurant / dish - and there were tons of great restaurants I went to the last several days. Huge shout-out to Luca who was our server and gave the recommendation. Thank you Luca!

Solo dined for an early dinner snack sitting outside in the beautiful weather. Service was excellent, the taco special appetizer on the 10 year celebration menu was very tasty, they complimentary bread and pesto dip was SO good and my mocktail was delicious. I know I was to come back to try more of the pastas next time.

Service and atmosphere were lovely. Víctor and Antonio were wonderful. However, the food did not quite live up to my expectations. Free bread and pesto was delicious, the vegan calamari was good, vegan lasagna was decent, vegan vodka sauce was garlicky which I don't mind, but just extremely plain like pasta and jar sauce you could make at home in 10 min.. vegan cannolis were decent, but I've had vegan cannolis that tasted like the real thing, and these ones did not. The vegan tiramisu had a good flavor, but it was more like pudding than tiramisu. My friend enjoyed seafood dish and the brocolini. I only had water, but my friends enjoyed their wine and nonalcoholic wine. Overall I would say give it chance, but I would appreciate if they improved their vegan dishes. It's not terrible, but really expensive for mid food.

The zucca dí fiori are just like they make them in Italy and with the stems which are the best part in my opinion. Finally, an authentic version!! The vegan meatballs are superb. You would never know they are vegan. The pappardelle and branzino were also delicious. Our server, Lucas was also very friendly and professional.

My wife and I have dined at quite a few Italian restaurants in Little Italy, but Civico 1845 stands out for one of my all-time favorite pasta dishes: the Pirro Pastificio Fileja. It’s infused with Calabrian chili pepper, guanciale, and pecorino crotonese—yes, it’s a mouthful, but so is the dish, in the best way possible. It’s served in an incredible red sauce, and the pasta itself is made in a very specific, traditional way—definitely ask your server about the story behind it. Before I go on, I have to address something: Krystal Elizabeth left a 1-star review claiming she goes there often yet never left a positive comment. That just doesn’t add up—smh. Back to the good stuff: the service was excellent. Marcelo, who waited on us at the bar, was super helpful and friendly. My wife had spaghetti with a meatball—not on the menu, but if you ask for it, they’ll make it. Trust me, it’s worth it.

I ordered a lobster taco with street corn and tried two different margaritas. While the street corn was a bit too sour for my taste, and the margaritas, despite being listed as distinct, tasted quite similar, the calamari was excellent. Overall, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I’d happily give this place 4.5 stars!

We found our way into the Blind Burro and really appreciated the food and atmosphere. The place was a zoo because of Comic-Con so we had to expect service would be slower. But our server did well but slow. Food was awesome and we saw a Roper Romp. Woo hoo!

Been twice and had mixed experiences. Overall food is overpriced, good not great. Perfect spot for watching sports and hanging out. Friendly and welcoming service. 2nd visit I got food poisoning very badly, but often times that is not the restaurants fault. Could have just been a bad item. I’d go back if others wanted to for a game or to hang out, but wouldn’t be my top choice for my own event.

During my recent work conference, I was lucky to find The Blind Burro right across the street from my hotel — what a gem! Erika greeted me with genuine warmth and recommended the bacon-wrapped jalapeños, which turned out to be an unforgettable treat. The perfect blend of smoky, spicy, and savory flavors made it a standout dish. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and drop by — you won’t regret it!

This spot is like block from the Padres stadium so you can enjoy a meal and drink before you enter or a drink after. The average cost a plate is $23, I would recommend paying the $2 uncharged for the corn, well worth it, definitely better then rice or beans. For a starter I would get the salsa flight, it comes with 4 salsa a flavor and spice level for everyone. They have outdoor seating with shade cover for those nice days, and great for people watching. Good restaurant decor, a lot of seating plus they also have to bars with seating at both. The quality of the is decent, nothing rave about, but a good spot for an outing with friends.

I had the coffee rubbed salmon tacos, black beans, and street corn. It was all really delicious overall. Adding to lime to the street corn enhanced the flavor. House hot sauce was also a great compliment to the tacos. Bit noisy but about what you'd expect for a bar / restaurant in the gaslamp.

Such a cozy little spot, I love coming here! I had their salad and was honestly surprised by how good it was. Super fresh greens, the dressing was creamy but not heavy, and the mix of textures (cherry tomatoes, nuts, dried fruit, warm bread) just hit the spot. You can tell they care about the details. And the cappuccino? So foamy and comforting — exactly what I needed. I could’ve sat there for hours. It’s one of those places that just makes you feel good. Can’t wait to come back.

The people helping us were so nice and patient as we tried to figure out what to get. We were looking for gelato our whole trip so we're excited to try this place. The flavors were perfect and the smooth texture of the gelato hit the spot. We ended up going back ans ordering rhe canoli as well ans were very happy with the shell and flavor of the filling. We went around 7:30pm on a weekday and it was pretty quiet around with nice relaxing out door seating.

I’ve been going to Pappalecco for years. The baked goods are to die for and the selection of food is better and nicer than most of the restaurants and coffee shops nearby in Little Italy. Great stop before you hit the farmer’s market on Saturday mornings. Their espresso tastes really clean and they have a good deal of different syrup options for coffee. I HIGHLY recommend a stop here if you’re a local or just visiting the city. The frittata is so fluffy and the sweet breakfast toasts are really divine. I recommend the salmon croissant as well.

This is a pretty cool Italian shop for coffee and gelato. I would definitely want to go back there and try the other variety. Must visit.

Cute little italian cafe with a great selection! I had the nutella croissant and nutella espresso drink (I totally forgot the name!). The croissant was so delicious, it might’ve been one of the best I’ve ever had. The drink was good as well, but I’m not the biggest fan of coffee (only nutella) that’s my fault though! The employees are so nice, I felt so welcomed! The place itself is nice but small.

Wow wow wow- get the quiche if you’re there at breakfast, get the gelato… honestly any time of day! Service was very thoughtful and personable as well! I would return and absolutely recommend.

My husband and I stopped in on a Saturday to cool off and grab a quick bite after the farmers market. The place had a good vibe—several patrons, but not overly packed. We ordered a cold Red Trolley and snacked on the duck fat pretzel bites. Both were excellent! Our server was fast, fun, and attentive. The beer hit the spot, and the appetizer came out hot and delicious. This location is one of our favorites, and I love that Red Trolley is always on tap! We also highly recommend their Burger & Beer special—just $20 and a great deal. Plus, daily happy hour from 3–5 PM is a big bonus!

Great place to come for a few beers and good food. They have a really good selection of beers to try and also limited edition beers, which I enjoyed. I also ate here and the Mac and cheese is highly recommended alongside the good service.

Great place for lunch and sampling local brews! We were staying right around the corner and came here for lunch. It was a great day outside so we sat out front on their patio. They have a great selection of local beers and the staff were all very knowledgeable about them all which was super helpful. I went with a pog seltzer and my wife ordered a shandy - both were extremely good! The food menu also featured a wide variety of bites but I only had eyes for their burger, and it did not disappoint. The flavor was great and the fries were perfectly cooked. We had a great experience overall and we’ll certainly be back!

Nice, chill place to grab good brew. Great happy hour prices. Near the trolley stop, which is great after a brew! Best plates are carne asada fries and the burger. Ahi poke nachos are pretty good too.

I am disabled. I was repeatedly ignored by your waiting staff. I literally had to get up in my walker and go to the bar to get service repeatedly. When I finally got service, the waiter Evan or Ivan, rather than taking a second to ask what I needed he literally walked up and asking what I needed he literally walked up and started bussing the table taking items I was still trying to consume. Then when I complained to the manager he literally was apathetic. And then to top it all off I saw the same managaer and another wiater smoking or vaping in front the restaurant less than 25 linear feet from the entrance the door. We were here celebrating the 80th birthday party of my Mom and literally this was a horrible experience.

Vibe: 8.5/10 - love that this location has seating options as well (although limited) Service: 10/10 - all of the staff were extremely kind and pleasant to chat with, especially including the crowd control hostess! Great flavors and great texture. You can try the different flavors if you are skeptical - they give you a little spoon of it and you place the used spoon down the shoot so there isn't a bunch of trash which I love. The honey lavender flavor is great! And the chocolate brownie is very decadent.

Delicious. Just found my new favorite ice cream flavor, Strawberry Honey Balsamic with Black Pepper. Sounds interesting, however it pleased my palate beyond compare. I also split my scoop and got honey lavender, another successful choice. The line was a little long but it went fast and was worth it. The sample spoons were metal and reusable which I liked. Highly recommend to all.

Very friendly service even when crazy busy 30mins before close. I like that the taster spoons are metal and returned. The ooey gooey brownie was exactly that, the salted malted cookie dough was also as described and delicious, and the pup cup was enjoyed by our beagle.

Amira, Ben, and Kevin at the little Italy location were beyond kind, sweet, professional, and soooooo fun! They sure know how to give customers the best experience. This wasn’t just getting ice cream it was a Friday night fun amazing experience we will always remember. The music play list was phenomenal and I just can’t say more good things about the amazing staff! Ben was the person who served us and he is soooo amazing, with excellent customer service skills, but Amira and Kevin made sure to be apart of the experience and talk to us and make us feel at home! It’s Halloween too and they were all dressed up, which was adorable. Thank you again for making us have such a fun time at salt and straw! Lolita’s near Petco Park is a clean and reasonably priced spot for when you are near the park. Being downtown, they don’t have assigned parking so you’ll either need to find street parking which can be difficult or take a ride share. We have been there a few times and service has been hit and miss. Sometimes they are friendly and other times the staff seem more stressed out than pleasant. The Carne Asada is not my favorite in San Diego but it’s always tender and is good with the salsas on the bar. Fish Tacos also not the absolute best in San Diego but decent. It’s a solid choice for reasonably priced Mexican food if you’re in the area.

I go between 3 and 4 stars here. The food is reasonably good. I really like the asada fries. Probably one of their best items. The rice is very bland. Mexican rice is usually fragrant and flavorful. I'd give them 3.5 stars if I could. Not a bad place to grab a bit, but by no means the best Mexican food I ever had.

I recently grabbed some tacos and quesadilla at this venue nearby Petco park. It was very clean, the service was friendly, and my food was great. They had plenty of table seating in their dining area at a lot of space to sit at their bar. I noticed they also had a lot of TVs with sports playing too. Solid food and salsa bar, I’d definitely go back again.

We went after a Padres games, and it was obviously super busy. I definitely plan to revisit when it’s not so crowded to see if the food is any different. Also, I want to try other items from the menu. I’ll say, despite the crowd of fired up and probably mostly drunk customers, the staff was friendly and upbeat. I got a fish taco and a shrimp taco. The shrimp taco was seriously amazing. The shrimp were nice and big, not overcooked, and the seasoning and flavor was great. The fish taco was nowhere near as good. I’ll certainly try it again when the place is less busy but overall the fish lacked flavor and was super mushy.

Food looks good but it taste bland. I am only giving it a 3 star because i did like the asada fries.

Coming back to California I was looking forward to having some good Mexican food. Unfortunately Lolita’s didn’t deliver. Food: 2 stars Value: 3 stars My sister lived in San Diego for a number of years and one thing she misses is the carne asada fries. One of things that I thought I should have while in town were carne asada fries. The carne asada wasn’t very good and that ruined the dish for me. The guacamole was ok and the fries were cooked ok but I found that this dish a fail. The fish taco was pretty bad. Not enough sauce, the tortilla was mealy and not crisp. The fish quality was good but I was expecting a Baja style and this wasn’t anything like that at all. The rolled tacos were ok. Kind of reminds me of something I could get at Costco. Probably the best of the three things I had.

So close to comic con and right behind the petco park stadium. Excellent price and delicious authentic food! So tasty! It is a bit greasy but that didn't negatively impact flavor. Large portions for the price. Definitely would recommend - especially if you're looking for a place that doesn't break the bank!

The burritos were enormous and flavorful! I would go again. Their menu is huge with tons of options to choose from. Their staff are so sweet and welcoming too.

Very good food for a great price. The food is cooked to order so do not expect to be in and out. Staff are very friendly and great to talk to. Laid back here, no ac.

California Burrito Hunt – Stop #25 I am on a mission to find the best California Burrito in town. Today’s stop is Pokez Mexican Restaurant. The Burrito: The biggest strength of this burrito is the fresh ingredients, and you can really taste it. The grilled meat is flavorful, and the avocado with the sour cream sauce adds nice variety to each bite. They also add cabbage, which gives the dish and its flavor a unique twist. The potatoes, however, became a bit watery from the heat. If the potatoes had been crispy and the meat slightly more flavorful, this could easily be the best burrito in the city. They also make their own sauces here, which taste great and clearly come from fresh products — nothing old or stale. Price is $15 plus tax, which is slightly above the city average. Score: 7 out of 10 Service: The man who helped me clearly did not want to interact. I would not call it rude, but it was definitely harsh and unwelcoming. Score: 1 out of 10 Atmosphere: You can tell they have put effort into creating a certain atmosphere. The place is old, filled with vintage things, and there is so much to take in. I cannot even describe it all — you have to see the photos. Despite the age of the decor, the place is clean, which works surprisingly well with the antique feel. Score: 7 out of 10

It's good but the serving sizes are massive, more than one could eat in a single sitting. The quesadilla was thiccc, I think it would be better if it was thinner or smaller. The service was good, friendly staff.

Great place to get all kinds of vegetarian and vegan food. We got two potato tacos and Tom’s Deep Plate with corn tortillas along with the tofu mushroom potatoes. Both were fresh and delicious! And HUGE! We love that we can order just about anything, including the rice and beans. This place has a low key fun vibe. But I wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness or physical condition.

Great food and wonderful customer service! I’m from out of town and was recommended this place from one of my friends who grew up here. She talks very highly of this place and I needed to check it out. The food was delicious and had very large portions! If we lived in the area this would definitely be a regular spot. We tried a mahi mahi taco, a shrimp taco, chicken quesadilla and a carne asada torta. Everything was good, I especially enjoyed the mahi mahi taco.

Thanks to the staff recommendation, I ordered the "Toms Deep Plate" with tofu potato mushroom. It was absolutely stellar. Completely vegan. So delicious. Perhaps too much food for a single sitting, but completely fair prices. Having grown up in SoCal, eating authentic "California Mexican" is a must on any visit back to this state. This restaurant hit the spot. I am so grateful! Great plate for vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores alike. Plenty of options for all.

We went to Bolt during our first trip in 2019, and liked it. So we went again in January 2025. The bar server was awesome: friendly, patient, and full of helpful tips and advice. We were there on a winter, midweek night, so there were not too many there. We ordered and enjoyed the loaded nachos. We’d definitely go there again.

Bolt Brewery is a solid spot to grab a few beers or cocktails before or after dinner. Chill vibe, good tap list, and decent bar food if you need a snack. Easy choice when you’re in Little Italy and want to keep it casual.

Great customer service! The kind staff served me a "Spanish Coffee" as I know it in Canada! The bartender took the time to Google the recipe and put such care to keep the recipe's integrity. I was proud to be the first customer who was served this delicious spanish coffee. Maybe this will be the next item on their drink menu :) Highly recommend.

We didn’t have food this time. BUT we did have drinks and Ceyonna….ugh…made great margaritas! I had the flight to start but had a raspberry margarita after. Delicious!! Ceyonna was the nicest and knew her stuff!! ❤️. We have been here several times it’s so nice to have a great margarita here!!

Unique beer options in Little Italy. I recommend trying their lemon and orange beers. Even if you don't care for them, they are not an option you will probably get to try anywhere else! They offer food and have a great Happy Hour special from 3-6 with half off of appetizers. Parking can be a little tough to find a spot nearby because it's a very busy area of Little Italy.

This little place was a life saver during our visit. After 8 hours walking around Balboa Park, we needed beer, cold cold beer. A relatively small place, all of the flights we tried were excellent. The Loca Lemon was just like drinking a sweet lemonade - thirst quenching and easy to consume... and consume we did. Into the evening, some sort of trivia was setup and the space got crowded but I think we were there for 2-3 hours. We went back the next day and this Brewery is now on our must visit list every time we come to San Diego.

A nice little brew pub. I try to flight of their beers. They were out of of a couple of IPAs because of a busy weekend. My favorite were the Tropic thunder IPA and Pacific Pale Ale. I had the spicy fried pickles for an appetizer and enjoyed the mahi-mahi fish tacos.

Lola 55 nails the craft taco vibe, lively room, polished service, and the Michelin Bib Gourmand nod makes sense.  Our spread hit all the notes, crisp Caesar, juicy chicken tacos, a steak taco, one Baja fish, the kids quesadilla, and the Tres Hermanas. The standouts were the fish and the beans, both among the best I have had, the fish perfectly crisp and flaky, the beans silky, deeply seasoned, and addictive. Shout out to Arlene, warm, knowledgeable, and generous with details about the vibe and the food. She also shared how they evolved from self-serve to full service, and you can feel that in the hospitality. Five stars from me. It is not my everyday go-to, I lean super healthy most days, but when I want excellent tacos with real care behind them, this is where I am coming.

First of all, I know the food is the most important thing in a restaurant, but the service was just INCREDIBLE. I feel bad I don't remember her name, but our waitress was so kind, attentive and just so energetic, me and my gf loved her. Now the food. Carnitas tacos were the best tacos I HAVE EVER HAD. A perfect combination of salty, acidity from what I think were tomatillos, and crunchy. They had a special pozole which was phenomenal too. Their fish taco is really famous. Disclaimer, I don't like fish tacos, but we still ordered and it was the best one I've had ever. Personally I would still stick with the carnitas and steak, but if you do enjoy them, it is indeed very flavorful. Overall 10/10 experience, if we didn't live in Chicago, we would become regulars without a doubt.

The smoked carnitas, beans and rice are great. Every other taco I've tried there is just okay. The staff yesterday had zero tequila knowledge and didn't know what a ramekin lid was.. Also was quoted a certain price for tequila only to realize they charge 3 bucks extra for a neat pour, I get it, usually 2 oz and not 1.5. But then I got charged another 3 bucks for a rocks pour. Not sure if this is how the business wants to do it or if it was an employee mistake. Either way, they need to train their people more. This spot used to be amazing, not so much anymore sadly

Great place for tacos! The tacos were delicious. They have a machine making corn tortillas, and they come ready with sauce, so no need for extra lime or hot sauce. I had steak, pork belly al pastor, and a fish taco, all very filling. The tacos felt elegant but tasted great. I looked them up online are featured in the 2022 Michelin guide which makes sense after trying the food. I will be back soon.

We swing in for the happy hour and got the cauliflower taco and beer. It was nice that they had a few vegiterian/vegan options for tacos that were unique. The cauliflower one had an eggplant bacon that added a nice crisp and smoky flavor. The beer was just okay but they arent a brewery so I wasnt expecting it to be amazing. The staff was pretty quick and friendly and had a few recommendations that were helpful as well. Overall a nice place to grab a bite.

Stumbled upon this unassuming eatery on a sunny Thursday afternoon, and it turned out to be some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. The open, airy ambiance made for a relaxed and inviting setting, and the service was truly top-notch. Our server, Caleb, was fantastic—passionate and deeply knowledgeable. He enthusiastically shared the story behind the restaurant and dove into the thought and technique behind each dish, from preparation to seasoning. They also have an excellent happy hour. I especially loved the spiced Jamaica—a beautifully aromatic drink infused with anise and warming mixed spices. It struck a perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and floral notes. As for the food—absolutely unforgettable. The Squashroom and Cauliflower tacos are two of the most inspired vegetarian tacos I’ve ever had. The Squashroom features a delicately battered lion’s mane mushroom paired with a squash blossom, bright verde salsa, and a bold red chili paste. It’s a mesmerizing harmony of textures and flavors. The Cauliflower taco might have been my favorite. Smoky, crispy cauliflower meets a crunchy eggplant “bacon” strip, all topped with a deeply flavorful sweet-and-tangy mole. The fresh corn tortillas elevate every bite—they’re the perfect vehicle for all these bold, creative flavors. I also tried the Baja Fish taco, which was equally impressive. The fish was fried to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside—accompanied by a spicy salsa, tangy tartar sauce, and a touch of mesclun greens for freshness. An incredible combination. In short: this place is doing something truly special. Innovative, intentional, and absolutely delicious. Someone give them their Michelin star already!

Amazing! They low-key have Michelin stars and they deserve it! Their tacos are amazing, prices very decent. We had 4 drinks, 3 tacos and 2 deserts for $108 before gratuity. Vibe is laid back but service is attentive!

I’ve been coming here for years and I’m always recommending this place. Unfortunately over the last two years this place has gone hill. The gyro tastes frozen and soggy and the fries have been soggy and extremely greasy every time I order them. Also ordered pastrami sandwich and the meat tasted like the grill wasn’t cleaned before hand. Don’t recommend this place for gyros or pastrami sandwiches.

If you're looking for a place that serves up delicious, hearty meals at a great price, this restaurant is a must-visit. Their burgers are fantastic – juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The beef kabobs are tender and well-seasoned, offering a satisfying bite with each skewer. If you're in the mood for chicken, the dishes are equally impressive, always grilled just right. Kabob dinners plates come with fries or rice plus salad and pita bread. Plus, everything is reasonably priced, making it an excellent choice for a casual, tasty meal without breaking the bank. Highly recommend!

They have changed their French fries from the old ones that were way better. Was the biggest reason to go there, shame.

First time here...had a chicken salad and cheese steak for take out.... wasn't bad....alot of food for what we purchased. 😀 they we very accommodating with food items to leave off or to add to the dish.

The food is actually good... but make sure you get it to go because the in-house experience is better at burgerking. Truly no effort was put in into the place... even the actual location is off setting. Honestly with the slightest of visual care and service this place could have potential. We came to dine in and try but we took it home.

This place sucks. It's gotten horrible. 1300 for just an 8oz burger. No cheese because that's an extra 2.50. I understand the economy is bad but at least cook the burger as the customer request. I asked for medium rare, this burger was super well done. This is not the best burger place in san diego. Carl's Jr. has the Big Carl that's way better. I used to like this place but seriously this is now trash.

We love coming here and always get good food, however, this time it was outrageous how half of our Philly cheesesteak sandwiches were thick slices of tomato! Also, Philly cheesesteaks don’t even have tomato in them usually?? It was disgusting to say the least and literally ruined my night, I was looking forward to these so much

Came here unexpectedly, and wow super impressed. Not only is the food delicious but the service is amazing! I love that the large pizza comes with half and half portions. This not allowed me and my partner try two different flavors at once without having to buy two separate pizzas. I will be singing praises to my friends and bring more people over cause this place is yummy 😋

This was a fully different take on pizza. Great new flavors and fresh. I got half a chicken mango and then pork carnitas on the other side. I shall be going back again soon. Inside was very clean and plenty of space.

Delicious! Mexican pizzas with Great flavors! We ordered the El Jefe special- large pizza, 6 bread balls, and 6 wings (we got the Chipotle mango) They let us do a half and half pizza - surf & Turf and Birria. So yummy! 100% recommend this place-- we will be back!

Amazing pizza. We ordered a 50/50 pizza. Mar Y Tierra which was full of flavour and my favourite. The other half was Mi Loco Mango which was a bit sweeter and also very delicious. Would definitely recommend coming here.

Okay so my husband’s been trying to get me to go here for a while and I wish I had gone sooner! Let me tell you, this place has the most amazing Mexican Pizza you will ever eat. My husband ordered a large and made it a half and half and I’m SO glad he did. The first half had chorizo, pineapple and a yummy cilantro avocado crema drizzled on top. The other half had shrimp, pineapple, adobada and fresh Jalapeño. The crust is baked to perfection with a light cornmeal dusting underneath. If you’re in SanDiego or Cali in general, do yourself a favor and check this place out. I would literally hop a plane just to visit this place. If you go be sure to leave a review because they just changed to their new location and we wanna make sure to show them lots of love. Enjoy!

Got pizza take out and it was very good! We got the vegetarian, which came with perfectly seasoned and baked veggies, and it was overall a light pizza, and very tasty. It was not greasy or oily.

Upon entering I was greeted by what I assume is the owner and asked if it was our first time at the location. He then gave us a run down of the menu and what to expect which I really appreciated. The food was great. It was my first time having a Mexican style pizza and it did not disappoint. I got the mar y tierra and the dame tu elote picoso pizza which was great. If you are in the area definitely stop and try them out they have a lot of different pizza toppings.

Food used to be a lot better and cheaper before these new owners took over. Now its very bad good and not worth the price got a large to go bowl, got home, this is not a large this is a small bowl. I think they rob you if you order to go. I have never been so disappointed in spending my money on this trash.

Decent food. Fried egg rolls were the best! Food was served one plate at a time. There's a bad smell right as you walk in. I'm assuming it was coming from the bathroom. It's only at the entrance though. Servers were decent. But the entertainment for our kids was the robot waiter! Was pretty cool watching it carry the food. Not sure how they chose who gets served with the robot, it didn't come to our table but was still fun to watch. It was a good experience just kinda warm inside, no AC was on and it was a hot day. But the food was just decent. Not a lot of meat in the Pho. There is a small parking lot on both sides of the restaurant.

Didn’t get to try the food. Dirty dishes sitting on empty tables. It was quite busy with one waiter. I don’t blame him but he needs to learn how to prioritize things. I noticed he was doing things that had no importance rather than assisting customers. The way the seating is set up is ridiculous, I don’t wanna eat sitting literally right next to a complete stranger. We left without trying anything or even getting a chance to sit down.

Good portions, had the big Pho and enjoyed it all the way, the spring rolls were the biggest I had so far, they do have draft beer, and was Ice cold man, that was so nice, had an 805, next time I'll have a Sapporo. Afterwards I had a green Jasmine hot tea. They were súper friendly and there's even a server robot that brings you the food!

Here is 5 Stars for service and food. Meet a friend here from Georgia and he loved it! Good flavored broth pho. Had the filet mignon pho #1 and the meat was very good. The Boba Thai tea was also good. Great place for families as they offer good priced kids meals that include drinks. Other dishes we had was the fried rice was excellent!

For the past three months I have anxiously been waiting to see what happens with this location. I was sad to see Cali Baguette and Pho shut it's doors, and wary of the new owners and changes they would bring. So when I went to eat on Saturday afternoon I have to admit I was being extra critical. My first impression was frustration as I tried to enter through the old entrance which is now the closed back door. Lol. There was signage so I only have myself to blame. When I did make it in I was very pleased by the changes made in the remodle. The new layout is spacious with more natural light. There's a bar with full service. I checked out the men's room and the changes in there are impressive. I love the menu. So many options. I wanted to try everything. I ended up ordering the Surf & Turf Rolls, House Special phổ, a build your own Broken Rice Plate with Grilled Beef, Pork, and Shrimp Paste Wrapped in a Crispy Bean Curd Paper. There were so many dessert options that looked delicious but I couldn't fit anything else in my stomach. The Surf and Turf Rolls were very good with an appropriate amount of protein. They came with a citrus fish sauce, however a peanut sauce is available upon request. The phổ was very good. The broth is so important to a good phổ. I am happy to say the broth was very tasty. With a good balance between the seasonings and the bone element. My rice noodles were a little over done, and the portion of protein could have been more, especially since this is the đặc biệt phổ, or special pho. However I understand this places grand opening was the previous Monday, so things are still being worked out. The Broken Rice plate I ordered was spot on with generous portions of protein, perfectly cooked rice, and beautiful presentation. I look forward to returning and trying everything on the menu.

Best Dank tacos in San Diego. There is a drive thru if you wanna just stop and go but the line does get super long. Theres not much parking in their lot but a couple street parking spots across the street. Definitely get the variety of tacos not just one

The food here is AMAZING & DELICIOUS! Was referred by a local friend/family to try this place out and we say it’s worth the drive! The meat is quality and the amount they give you is FULL! Definitely recommend 10/10 and would come back again! Try it out if you haven’t! It’s the closest tacos you’ll get to Tijuana or may even be better!

Nice place to enjoy the Mexican taste taco! They only do takeouts now because of the pandemic. We ordered the spicy pork and loved it. They have cilantro in it so definitely let them know if you are not a fan of cilantro as my bf.

These tacos are seriously the best I've ever had. I went here on a friend's recommendation and planned on getting 4-5 tacos, but ended up eating 8 just by myself. You can't go here and not get the Adobada (spicy pork) tacos. They cut the meat off right in front of you and the sauce and toppings are just incredible.

This is hands-down my favorite taco shop. Period. Nothing beats their authentic variety and flavor. It’s the reason a long line might greet you before you get to the counter to order. Parking is challenging if you want to try and get into the lot, but it’s all worth it even if you park at the public transit lot and walk over.

You would think the heart and soul of Tijuana-style tacos would be easy to replicate so close to the border and in Southern California in general, but as with everything the scene takes on a life of its own and goes elsewhere. If you happen to come to Tacos El Gordo on H Street during a rare off hour, you might be bewildered by the amount of open space in the entry, seemingly unused. Normally this is crammed with humanity and multiple lines, some longer and more crooked than others. To be sure, the lines near the trompo and for carne asada are always hefty, and this should guide a meal for any beginner. When eating tacos here there are many things that set them apart, starting with the fresh little tortillas that are still warm from the station creating them. Tacos de adobada ($2.60 c/u) are a natural place to start, what the place is known for above all else, and just such a pleasure. They slather each with that legendary creamy runny avocado salsa that could never be replicated in a hundred attempts in your own kitchen.

My friends and I stopped by here before we left to go back home to the valley to finish my bachelor party. One of my groomsmen wanted us to try this place so he took us here. The first thing that stood out was that parking is very limited so be aware of that. When we got inside, they have different area based on what you're going to order so you'll have to go to that area to order your food. I got only 1 Carne asada tacos while my friends got their Adobaba fries and also lengua tacos too. My taco was made in front of me when I ordered it so it came out quick. The fries took a while because they make it in the back. We had an issue with my friend Carne asada fries because it had hair in it so they had to remake it for him. The Carne asada taco was alright to me.

Quality burgers with unbelievable prices and unbearable waiting time. They need to come up with a strategy to shorten wait time in peak hours. The burgers are juicy (even more juicy if you order animal style). I love the grilled onions they add to them). My wife always gets lettuce-wrapped as she follows atkins/low carbon diet. Damn autocorrect!

For the first time I ever tried the French fries 🍟 and one of my worst ever experience as it doesn’t taste good at all but the strawberry shake was good though

Fries on the “fresh potatoes “ unable to bite them because of how hard they are. Literally spit them out. Divided them before I actually started eating because I wanted to enjoy my meal. Only left with the ones on the orange plate.

This is how I got my order just dumped the fries in the bag. I’m Very upset with their service. Very slow service plus waiting and this what my order looks like.

I went to In N Out for lunch and this was my experience, at first I thought it would be very full since every time I have gone there it has always been full but even with all those people there the line moved really fast and I got my food in less than 5 minutes, when I went to sit at a table it was pretty messy but just when I was going to clean it, a staff member cleaned it for me and offered me napkins and some condiments for my food. The food has always been great and it did not disappoint that day, I asked for my burger without onions since they aren’t my favorite and it tasted amazing the fries weren’t so special since i didn’t ask for something in specific but they were a bit salty, and the pink lemonade was really good since its their signature drink. In general the food, experience and environment were really great and I would definitely recommend everyone to go there.

The burgers are awesome, the animal fries are to die for! And if you're daring enough you may try a 10 meat patty and down it with a Napolitan extra large shake,. This place is very good and tasty. After a few years and many times of coming to this place, with still the same quality, service and flavor since the first time I ever visited this place. They do keep the place very clean, there are handicap spots in the parking lot, they have a lot of room for a lot of people, your order comes out very fast whether you do it on the driveway or you do it inside. Usually try to go when it's not as busy which is around 2:00 p.m. when is busy be ready to be standing online a little longer than normal because everybody in this area knows the place loves the place and comes to the place all the time.

Simply delicious cheeseburger hot, very good flavor, perfect potatoes, nothing salty, Order dr pepper sodas with very good flavor. The order was by car. Unfortunately, the wait is a little long but it was worth it.

You can always count on a Denny’s to serve your late night meals. My partner and I made it over at Denny’s location, off E Street Chula Vista. We particularly liked that it wasn’t overly crowded compared to other locations we’ve been to during 9-11p hours. Besides the small outdoor shopping center that’s it’s in and the unmarked parking stalls and random pothole pavement parking area, our experience at this Denny’s was a good one. Our server Jasmine checked on us more than several times and the cashier had come by twice just to ask if we were doing ok. Tag team! Staff were attentive, positive and friendly on the shift. As for food, their prices went up but had kept their $2/4/8/10 meal deals. This location did not offer senior deals. When I asked our server, she was unsure as to why that was. In any event, our meals were good and it hit the spot since most restaurants in the neighborhood closed at 9pm. Always love Denny’s buttermilk pancake. My fave 👍🏼

It’s great family spot. I ordered the blueberry pancakes and the choco nana pancakes which were pretty good. The waitresses were really nice and helpful, especially when requesting a table change, since we were a big group. However, I must say that they hardly scrub and wash their mugs properly, since one of the cups was super dirty, so I don’t want to imagine how they take care of cleaning.

I was visiting from out of town and stopped by this Denny’s. I just wanted to leave a quick review because I was really impressed with the service. Alma was our server, and she greeted us so kindly and made us feel really welcome. She had a great, friendly attitude and checked in on us just enough to make sure we had everything we needed. It was a simple, pleasant experience, and her service stood out in the best way.

I have been to this Denny's before. It was okay. However tonight, this waitress, stops to tell me that the restroom is only for customers. Well everybody knows that, and I plan to buy something as a customer after I use the bathroom. I was insulted by her insensitivity. And I told her that of course I was going to buy something!" I asked her again for the code. And she said, "Are you a customer?" It's hard to explain how i felt. I wanted to let everybody know that I was offended. I ended up storming out and not using or buying any service. But I did go somewhere else where I was received with kindness. I was delighted to be a customer there. ●The offending Denny's is on E Street in Chula Vista, near the 5 Freeway. If you are looking for Compassion or any type of true courtesy or consideration, don't go to this one. Kindness is inconsistent. It was one of the waitresses working the evening shift, But I didn't see any other waitresses coming to my rescue. Since the waitress acted so ugly with me--I just stormed out. The waitress told *me*, "I- -DIDNT- have- to- be- rude.-" Did I mention that I am a senior, and that I was in a rush to get to restroom? I don't think I'll ever come back to this one...... --☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ (minus 10 stars)

I Actually Came Here After Having Issues With The Denny's In National City. I Definitely Like This Location. Yup The Food Was Fast & Delicious. Oh Yeah The Service Was Fantastic & The Lady Was Very Kind. I Definitely Like How She Took Care Of All Of Us. I Definitely Recommend This Place.

We loved this location so much, that we ate there 4 times while we were in the area. Conveniently located next to our hotel and open 24 hours, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner. All meals were hot, fresh and delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Kids loved the food so much, they kept asking to come back, so we did. Variety of food items, so we never ate the same thing twice. All of our servers were great, very polite, guest and service oriented and the entire staff seamed to be working together and helping each other. We were very impressed. Keep up the great work.

Well, I had a wonderful awesome server Cassie!! She did a really good job with customer service!! 👊👊👊 And the meal was amazing. It was the chicken bourbon!! I was impressed with the way the vegetables were cooked just right and the potatoes were overcooked and the chicken would taste really good.. I don't normally write reviews, but I just wanted to give a little shout out to my server Gabriela H. I came in on a Friday night after work, and they were super busy. The hostess sat me right away, and my server Gabriela came over to great me not even a minute later. Her section was full and she handled it very well. She was friendly to everyone and was quick to get customers their requests. Like I said I don't write reviews but as someone who works in customer service I like to let management know when their employees are doing a great job

I had such a great experience at Denny’s! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the whole visit. The food came out quickly, fresh, and exactly as I ordered it. Portions were generous, and everything tasted delicious, especially the breakfast items. The atmosphere was clean and comfortable, making it a nice place to enjoy a meal any time of day. Absolutely love Tacos El Pablanos in Chula Vista! Every visit has been a delight, with their carne asada tacos being simply amazing. While this is not a fancy or aesthetically desirable establishment, the food is excellent! The atmosphere was modest and quaint but disturbed by loud and continuous meat clever chopping freshly grilled meat with a smokey flavor. The establishment did not smell like smoke making the genuine smoked flavor a pleasant surprise. I recommend ordering to go.

I saw a video about this place, how the food is great & the guy whom was food- tasting & viewing tacos El poblano was invited everyone to try it out. First of all, looks can be deceiving. The mulas are way too small, in the video it was bigger & cheesier. "WRONG!" I was "NOT PLEASED!" It had a werid taste to it. Had too much oinions, & less cheese. They can really con-viewers into coming into this joint,(EL POBLANO) & then when you get the order. It's like WHAAAAAT! First-time and LAST. I rate this place a big fat zero .😖👎

Wow there is a lot to say about Tacos El poblano the first thing is that you need to know that when you get in there they trust you. What I mean by that is you walk into the counter by the tacos and order your tacos, torta s,quesadilla, mulitas, and you have your choice of three meats carne asada, birria or adobada. Watch you get to do is choose either a burrito, tacos, quesadilla, any other variations of it with the meat of your choice. Once you ordered you eat it and once you eat it you can also before I forget get your Waters or sodas from the register once it's done and you finish eating you come into the cashier and let them know that you are done and how many of each or whatever you ate you ate. Once you tell them they'll go ahead and charge you for it you pay and you're done very simple but it's something that we are not used to here. The flavor on their meats is always amazing, their beef is a great or 100% delicious, there's salsas if you're not used to ask but yet keep in mind that the majority of the sauces there are spicy. So with that said just make sure that you choose believe it or not the darkest one which is the least spicy, you can get your lemons, you can get your aguas frescas. And have the opportunity to have a good old time with everybody there. The cooks behind the bar are amazing always with a smile and always very helpful to teach you or to help you choose the best stories. With that set we keep on going every weekend and at least twice a week to enjoy their tacos.

I have been here a few times and it never disappoints. The food is good and service is quick. My only knock on them is the price, they’re one of the most expensive taco shops in Chula Vista. We got 10 tacos, 2 drinks and it came out to $32. If you’re in the area and looking for a quick bite then check them out.

Since my last negative review 3 years ago, Today I came in to eat and to my surprise, Cleanliness on every thing, attendant helped with our order and afterwords proceded to wash his hands, food excellent, attention excellent, Credit where credit is due, From 1 to 5 stars to Isaac Ocampo.

I would have giving you a better rating, yet when I asked for the wing lovers meal, I clearly saw how the practically picked off the grill the less eye appealing wings. (It’s like they try to give you the items that are over cooked) to make it the wings meal. Otherwise they tell you they don’t have “extra wings” to give you. Also, the bathrooms are disgusting! Very poor maintenance.

The atmosphere is still lovely and relaxing, and the staff were absolutely wonderful — warm, professional, and attentive. Huge credit to the team working on the floor. That said, it’s really disappointing to see how the corporate side has changed things. Portion sizes have been drastically reduced, and both the quality and quantity of the food have gone downhill — all while prices have gone way up. It no longer feels like you're paying for a satisfying meal, but rather for the brand name and decor. I truly hope corporate leadership listens to customer feedback, because the frontline staff are doing a fantastic job — but those top-down decisions are undermining the entire experience.

My review is a bit late, but I haven't been to El Pollo Loco in probably 10+ years, why, I have no idea myself. But that day I went to the drive through with my mom. The customer service this girl had, was so professional and appreciated. I asked for her name afterwards because she did such a great job. Her name is STAR, I worked at a restaurant for about 4 years and this is the customer service I gave. I was impressed by her suggestions and the way my mom and I kept on getting convinced on adding more to our menu list even when we only came for 2 things, we ended up leaving with about 5 things. So STAR if you see this, girl keep doing what you are doing, even though there is a few in the world that can be, let's say unappreciated in their lives and take it out on the nice people, you keep working hard.

This is a small Pollo Loco. We had a problem ordering on the kiosk but the lady behind the counter was very helpful and solved our problem. The food is good, the service is good, but you don't want to eat in, especially when they are busy.

I must say, I haven't been disappointed yet by El Pollo Loco. They make very good americanized Mexican food. Seasoned well, hot to order, fresh ingredients, and very tasty. Their portion sizes are fair. They do catering too, which many people use for b-day parties, company functions, etc.

Chic fil a has gotten really bad with quality over the years. Last 4 times I've been here for breakfast the slices on the chicken breast from the chicken has gotten thin and thinner.. 5% chicken 15% breading 80% biscuit. Don't believe me? Check the picture and go try it yourself

Best chick fila I’ve ever been to. My daughter loves to come here for the play area and all the staff are always super friendly and great! On our last visit one staff member Leticia was very sine to my daughter and gave her a little cow toy which was totally unexpected but it was incredibly nice and my daughter was very happy.

My boyfriend and I have been here a couple times and customer service has always been good, however today was very VERY good. Team captain Adam and Kitchen Director Dylan were very helpful, as well as the kitchen staff! They answered all questions and ensured the quickest service possible!

Worst experience every time. How hard is it to put proper sauce on a door dash order??? I ordered 12 piece chicken nugget and got two sauce- I ordered a kids combo and got hot sauce and mustard. 50 dollar order on door dash and you can’t be kind enough to give the correct sauce. I called the manager today 08-05-25 at 12:49 pm and she seems as if she can care less and states- I’ll talk to them about it- that’s it. The most unapologetic apology with a hit of humor to her tone. . This new generation of customer service is truly rude and horrible. Chick fil an and DoorDash will no longer be getting my business.

Chick-fil-A always delivers great food, but this visit stood out because of the amazing customer service. The young man taking orders outside was so kind and patient, even with the long line and heat beating down on him. You could tell he genuinely cared about getting our order right and making everyone feel welcome. I honestly felt bad seeing him stand out in the sun and heat, but he never lost his smile or positive attitude. Huge props to him-he made our experience even better. Chick-fil-A, take care of that guy, he's a gem!

This is the lettuce we got in our Spicy Deluxe! We are customers and been going here for the longest time , and this is the first time we experience something like this. There is no way the person who made this spicy deluxe did not notice that something was completely wrong with the lettuce.

The grilled cheese taco thing was not that great. Should remove it from the combo box and replace it with a Mexican pizza and I’d be 100% more happy !! Other than that great food

I give Taco Bell five stars because everyone knows it’s a Taco Bell. You know what to expect you know how the food is prepared you know what the prices are and it meets your expectations. The place is clean. The food is hot. The prices are to be expected the energetic staff helps you quickly accurately, and happily they’re a friendly group.

So I don’t normally go to this Taco Bell but I happen to be nearby and stopped in to get some of that Cantina Goodness and wow what a difference in costumer service and food quality at this location. Didn’t catch the kind proper lads name who was working the drive through orders but bless his heart of gold for being so nice, you don’t normally get that kinda treatment at other Taco Bell’s.

I ordered a Mexican pizza and when me and my wife took a bite, the tortilla was bad and tasted sour with a funny aftertaste. This was my first time going to this location. Will not return although the tacos and burritos were good. Could have just been a bad batch.

Stafff was rude, they left my food to sit out without even calling my name. And when I take my order home. This is what I got? I paid almost six dollars for a corner or fries. Definitely not coming back, this was a ridiculous waste of money.

We stopped into Tacos Revolución totally at random after spotting it—didn’t even check reviews first—and we’re so glad we did! The food is absolutely amazing. We tried both types of chicken, the birria, and the steak. Everything was top tier, but the steak was by far the standout—fresh, flavorful, and with that perfect homemade taste. They also offer a great spread of extras: spicy peppers, onions, and unlimited hot sauce to kick things up to your liking. The staff is super friendly and clearly cares about cleanliness—we saw them make sure a table was spotless before we sat down, which was much appreciated. Even the bathrooms were clean, which you don’t always find at taco spots. Overall, this place is a gem. I’d eat here a million times over. Definitely recommend to anyone in San Diego looking for next-level tacos!

A little crowded sometimes but the food is good. Also it is a little pricey. I ordered a Adodobada Mulita thinking it was going to be a decent size. For $10 in is just one taco amount of meat in between two corn tortillas. Definitely the amount you get is not worth $10. I’ve gotten um it’s elsewhere that were huge for the same price. I was a little disappointed and would have rather just ordered two tacos for about the same price. Their California burritos are also $21 which to me is kind of insane. I understand food is more expensive now but you’re better off going down to another taco shop to get the same size burrito for cheaper.

I had the birria w/comsume (&quesa birria), carne asada, and adobada tacos. The Birria was the best, carne asada in close second and the adobada right behind. It wasn’t amazing but it wasnt bad by any means. The horchata was good, but overall I’d say too expensive for middle of the line food.

Would you pay nearly $6 for this one single taco after tax? Only one taco but it wouldn’t let me select one without changing the name so it says “tacos” but there was only one. Very flat flavor. Even eating one shrimp by itself barely gave me any char or any flavor. So…. Overpriced, underwhelming taste…. Meh. I guess this needs to be a place you ONLY go to for Taco Tuesdays, now. 🤷‍♀️ The service was great and she was nice. Location: your basic Rubio’s but it was also very clean. You can tell the people take pride in their service.

Rubio’s on H Street in Chula Vista is a fixture in my life. I’ve been coming to this place since it opened around 2003. The Rubio’s brand is a total fixture in San Diego. The original Rubio’s was near Mission Bay off the freeway. I’ve eaten there quite a few times. Sadly, the original location burned down. Thank goodness the brand survived, and there has been a store in the Chula Vista mall since the early 2000s. My favorite is, of course, the fish tacos—pictured in my review photos. If you’ve never had a fish taco, you don’t know what you’re missing. Yes, to some people it definitely sounds weird, but it is an absolute feast. Honestly, the fish tacos really are a carrier for the salsa. They’ve got salsa options. It’s super enjoyable. It doesn’t have the variety that the Brand Salsa company had, but that company went out of business—and Rubio’s survived. My dad regularly gets the Langostino Bowl and my mom gets a steak taco. Their bread is super good and definitely enjoyable for everyone. The vibe is from when Ralph Rubio went down to Baja and “discovered,” if you will, the fish taco and brought it back to California. I really wish the brand would spread, but some people just can’t handle a fish taco. It’s too bad, really. The staff is always friendly and totally knowledgeable. They answer any question and seem to be able to take care of any problem when it crops up. Which is super nice, because sometimes things don’t go perfectly. But they fix whatever issue you have and get you going with the food you ordered. The location is big, but I’ve seen a line of people waiting for lunch on the weekend—so beware of this. I guess that’s an example of the staying power of the Rubio’s brand. The first time I had a fish taco, I thought it was kind of weird. But then I was hooked. The parking lot at Chula Vista Mall can be crazy busy. Be prepared to park a little bit further away. There are some handicap spaces but they seem to get filled up. Outside of that, it’s the only downside of the location. And here I am, over 20 years later, still eating the product. A testament to quality, to be sure.

I have eaten here many times but I make a special effort on Tuesday's to get the taco special. They offer fish or steak tacos for $3.00 each which includes guacamole, lettuce, cheese. So tasty! Special starts each Tuesday at 230pm.

Bad experience never going back! Drive thru employee was very rude. When I was ordering thru drive thru I couldn't hear what she was saying I asked to please repeat what she said, it sounded like she was bothered and you could tell she was rolling her eyes. I ordered the wendsday meal and it seems that we order a regular meal we didn't get the meal the way it was advertised. I also ordered a kid's meal chicken nuggets she didn't even ask me what kind of sauce I wanted... She assumed I wanted BBQ sauce I wouldn't pick BBQ because we are ALLERGIC to it!!!!

Small little Wendy’s, but only one in this area. Gentleman at the front counter was very diligent with his work, as he showed by double checking an order that was ready to make sure everything was correct. Only complaint I have is the drink machine is behind the counter, so you have to come up and ask for a refill each time. Overall 4 ⭐️

Worst experience at a Wendy’s. When we walked in there was a weird smell and we thought it was because the ac was off. I ordered my food and my whole order was wrong. They still charged me extra to get it right even though I had already paid. When I finally sat down there was a man sleeping in a booth with a whole dog bed on the floor next to him and the dog of course. We are not from the area but if I ever come back around I will not be stopping here

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I’m making an exception because food poisoning from this Wendy’s landed me in the hospital. I don’t know what’s going on in that kitchen, but it’s definitely not time + temperature control. I went from eating Wendy’s ~once a week to it now being the last thing I would eat even on my deathbed, which I thought I was on.

Service was good but the burrito I got was terrible. It was a California burrito but it seem to be an old order; like someone order it but didn’t wanted and they reheat it. I’m a fan of those burritos so I know how they should look and taste; and to top it off I found a long hair in it. I paid 14 dollars for a piece of crap. I will never go back.

I’ve been coming here for 40 years! I can really only attest to their “special 5 roll tacos with guacamole, sour cream, cheese.” It’s the only thing I order and they are definitely my go-to rolled tacos in Chula Vista. They still taste the same after all these years, even the salsa (one per rolled taco is a must). You have to eat them immediately; the guacamole will go brown within the hour. I never carry cash, but I have a hidden stash of cash in my car whenever I’m in the mood for LT’s.

Good burritos, large size, and quick service. Good price also, it's a big burrito for the price with a good portion. I had the chile colorado, not spicy but good flavor. No rice or beans in the burrito, all meat.

I ordered Carne Asada fries (14.99 plus tax) 16oz drink (2.99) and a flour tortilla (1.39).I give this a 1 star because the price is not equal to the quality and quantity of food.They use the cheapest quality of fries and they don't even add the salt,they give you packs of salt .The 16oz . is crazy for 2.99 no not a 32oz.If you want a soda can it cost 1.99.The flour tortilla was cooked good ,it was burrito size.The picture only shows my left over,just wanted to show the fries that are under cooked and low quality. Also they don't do a equal portion of meat, order this if you like potatoes,they are not a good taco shop to eat at.

Used to be the Best, just about 30 minutes ago I bought the 5 rolled taco special with lettuce and got these rolled tacos that are stuck together and look like they been sitting there for a while, the guac is turning black and brown already. Very disappointed, grew up in the river bottom eating here all the time and now the food is no good.

It’s cash only but there’s ATM’s in both front and back of the place. Always open and people that work here are all about the business. Get your food out to you quickly and don’t forget the carrots 🥕 n jalapeños because they are the best in San Diego!

This is San Diego, no shortage of Mexican food around.** The smallest burritos I have had, very little flavor. My son ate his and asked my half mine. The salsa is flavorless, the one labeled spicy is basically chunky ketchup. I'm a white guy, where is the spice or flavor?? I'd have been happier with Cholula. The chips were about the only thing that was as expected. The lemons were super slimy and cut up randomly. The limes were very dry and the green peel had turned yellow where cut. So both are definitely days old from being cut. 🤢 $30 for 2 burritos, small portions, no flavor, and salsa without flavor. 100% will not be back and regret stopping in today. I checked and the mild salsa wasn't switched with the 'spicy'. The place was dingy and could use a deep cleaning. I wonder what the kitchen looks like??

Tried for the first time today... Unfortunately, the Surf n Turf bowl was missing shrimp and our 2nd bowl (Hot Honey) was missing the sour cream that we added and paid for. Food was good but paying for stuff and not receiving them is annoying.

I had a family emergency this morning with a loved one in the hospital, and my stress levels were high until I encountered Daniel. Your kindness and positivity left a lasting impression; I’ll never forget how you made me feel! The cashier was friendly and helpful. I ordered the classic shrimp burrito plate that comes with beans, chips, and a drink. Food tastes delicious, although burrito could use a few more shrimps. Great variety of drinks and restroom is very clean. Prices are a little above average, be prepared to spend over $10- $11 each for lunch.

Almost always have a good experience not sure what happened this time.. I placed my order waited more then 30min after waiting went to the front to ask about my order some how they forgot my order witch I wasn’t planing on taking that long of a lunch break and all they said was were so sorry didn’t offer a discount or anything..

The first photo is what is advertised and the second is what you get. I ordered it without the black beans but apparently i shouldn't have because the lack of protein is evident. $11.49 before tax but after is $16.62 for 5 shrimp in a strongly sauced dish, the server was nice but the food was abysmal at best. The pizza is absolutely delicious. Freshly made and usually quick for pickup, our favorite pizza place in eastlake.

We ate the 8" Works pizza as dine in. Very hot and tasty pizza was gone fast.

Gross. Shady. Messed up. They added an extra order to my receipt. Honest mistake, right? They said they voided the charge to my card, so I asked for a void receipt to make sure the first charge was voided. But the girl just reprinted my last receipt and tried to argue with me telling me it was my void receipt. I don't know if she's just dumb or thinks I'm dumb, but it's clearly not a void receipt. After taking my order to go, look whose finger imprint was stuck in the middle of my pizza. From this experience, I imagine they're not above spitting in your food.

This is a nice little place, one thing I love is that every time you walk in you're always greeted with a big smile. I have been on this place at least 4-5 times since my son discovered it. The flavor of their pizza is very nice, their toppings are really good quality, their cheese is not so salty like in other places. Also, as I mentioned before their service is super nice, they are fast and always ready to suggest something new. They have vegetarian cheese and they can make your pizza totally vegan or on the other hand they can make you a mean meat lovers pizza to lick your fingers. There is handicap spots all over the mall, the parking is free and this place has so many flavors to choose from, my family keeps on coming back. Thanks for your awesome pizzas.

My recent visit to this local pizza place was an absolute delight! Even though I've only been here once, the experience was so fantastic that I can't help but give it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review. To start, we ordered the house salad, and it was fresh, crisp, and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were clearly of high quality, and it was the perfect way to kick off our meal. For our main dishes, we went with the pepperoni calzone and the meat lover pizza. The calzone was a true work of art – the dough was perfectly golden brown, and the pepperoni and cheese inside were ooey-gooey and delicious. It was like a flavor explosion in every bite. And the meat lover pizza? Oh my goodness, it was a carnivore's dream come true! The combination of various meats and cheeses on that pizza was a mouthwatering symphony of flavors. The crust was just the right amount of crispy, and the sauce tied everything together perfectly. But what really stood out was the friendly staff, who made our visit even more enjoyable. They ensured our orders were spot on and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Their exceptional service added an extra layer of warmth to the already welcoming environment. I may have only visited this place once, but it's safe to say that I'll be back for more.

Ordered two kids meals. Orange Chicken and chao mein. Arrived at home and noticed only 3-4 small pieces of chicken. For almost $10, 3-4 pieces of chicken is not enough. They were lucky I was too far to go back to the restaurant! I called several times and nobody would answer! This isn’t the first time this happens. Other locations do the same. Prices are increased and they still try to rip off customers!

I usually come here via drive thru and the food is always very delicious and served properly, however tonight May 8th I’m very disappointed. Honey walnut shrimp was filled with liquid and watery and looks so unappetizing so much the al carte box was falling apart with liquid all on the bottom of the bag. I didn’t even know honey walnut shrimp could even be watery.The orange chicken is also very hard and old I’ve never had this type of service here before so I’m quite disappointed.

Came here after Sesame Place to feed the kids before going to SeaWorld. The parking lot was very crowded. There was no fried rice. The lady was rude and very skimpy on the portions. Somehow 1 of our bowls got mixed up and we got the wrong thing. There was hair in my honey walnut shrimp. The hot orange chicken had good flavor. After eating I got a headache and felt ill. I threw up at seaworld. I tried to last for the kids. I was sick the entire drive home and threw up twice more. I've never eaten at this location and never will again.

I just had one of the best fast food experiences of my life at Panda Express! The staff were super friendly and attentive, the service was lightning-fast, and the food was absolutely delicious. I went with the classic Orange Chicken, and it did not disappoint - the flavors were bold, the chicken was perfectly cooked, and the portion size was generous. The atmosphere was clean and modern, making it a great spot for a quick lunch or dinner. I've been to Panda Express before, but this location really stood out. Highly recommend stopping by and trying the Orange Chicken (and maybe some of the Super Greens on the side, trust me on that one)! Five stars isn't enough - I'd give it ten stars if I could!

I've been coming to Panda Express since I was in high school circa 2000's. The chow mein and fried rice used to be really good. This last visit they both tasted subpar. The fried rice tasted old and like cardboard. The chow mein was a little on the hard side which is different but also flavorless. The reason for the 3 stars is really the low quality of the utensils. When you're eating you don't expect to start eating pieces of plastic but that's just what happened. My son speared a piece of orange chicken with his fork and we heard a little click sound and when he was chewing he freaked out. When he spit out the chicken there was a piece of black plastic that had somehow broken off the fork. The same happened to my mom. A little sad that this place is cutting corners but I still enjoy the food.

I gave 4 stars for cleanliness and the other star is for other improvement. I think their food was delicious but the portion was less than before and the price went up. We never had any bad experience except for the lady on the counter forgot to put chopsticks and fortune cookies in the bag. And when I asked, she quickly gave what I needed. To the staff, just practice food safety all the time.

Got my order wrong twice… like how ? I went the first and they got it wrong came back around another time telling them in detail like as if they’re babies and still got it wrong Ong a baby would’ve understood. Didn’t want to go around another time cause I figured they was a little slow lmao…

I asked to get my frappe re made and the worker had an attitude about it, she went as far as to raising up my drink and saying it wasn’t watery when it indeed was. Just to also bring it out with pink colored whip cream? This place is disappointing. But just the nearest one I was by. Do not waste your time coming here

Always forgetting or messing items up on Uber eats orders. Pay for a 10 pc and get a 4, or get none at all.

If I could even give a ZERO star with the service I’ve received here I will definitely put ZERO star! Very bad customer service. In fact, I could say it was the rudest and worst experienced I’ve ever had. Bought 2 Happy Meal and requested to have my toy replaced since they gave me the same toy from my previous order. The man named “Ray” who claimed to be the Manager on Duty that night said that they CANNOT swap the toy (even if they just gave me the Happy Meal box). He said that it was MCDONALD’s rule that they dont swap toy. The other guy who was working that day just turned his back and I can tell that he was laughing while I was voicing out my concern. I saw that they have a lot of toys that have different designs that night but they REFUSED to change the toy that they gave me! They were very rude to me. The phone number for customer care posted around the store was not even working because I tried calling it. Worst place to go if you are planning to collect HAPPY MEAL toys because the people here are inconsiderate, rude, and very unprofessional!

I just went for take out but they made mistake gave me wrong burger and french fries was No Salt... so sad I was super hungry very disappointed. My order number was #211...

Everytime I order something here it’s either cold and stale or not enough fries. They only put one pack of sauce for a big order.

The employee that tried to take our order could not hear me. I tried yelling, very uncomfortable. Speaker problem I hope. The got the order correct and fast. The chicken strips, hard and dry. I have yet to contact McDonald's due to going to Mexico right after that. We fed the dog in mexico the strips, he had a hard time...

This used to be a reliable, fast, and honest McDonald’s, I don’t know what happened maybe owners changed but quality control has gone so far down I’m disappointed with how low they have become, they use to have a manager here who had worked here for many years as far as I can tell the minute he left they that’s when the issues started happening, my final straw was when they decided to use the whole tube of Mac sauce on my Big Mac, disgusting and over cooked

We loved this place, the Monster Sandwhich is our favorite along with the meatball sub, we have been going here for many years. Tonight we ordered three sandwiches and they didn’t have any meat, all bread. Photos say it all, so sad but we won’t be returning :(

Pizza here is so good!!! Every time we crave pizza this is our place to go to, as this is the best pizza in town! Aside of the pizza being good you really cannot beat the value of buy one and get one free!!! Lastly I love that this is a family owned business and we get to contribute to our small business in the community. Try it, you will love it! 🥰🙌

Love this place!! Fatty’s pizza staff is super friendly and funny. There’s a standing buy one get one free special which makes it very affordable.

We ordered the coupon with 2 large pizzas with 2 toppings and free cheesy bread. When my wife picked it up she charged us $34 dollars and change, she showed the coupon and the price was adjusted but we weren't given the cheesy bread (which we really like). We ordered double sausage on both pizzas and the first large one had 14 pieces of sausage (a couple so small I make sure it was sausage. The second pizza had a few more pieces. So does that mean a single order of sausage is 7 pieces?

Fattys is awesome. I love the pizza, especially the sausage pizza. It’s so good. Never thought I would find a good tasting pizza that reminds me of my hometown in Chicago. It’s the closest I can find here…this is coming from a Chicago girl. Enjoy, and you’re welcome

They have 3 sets of pricing, one online, one on their menu board, and something different in their computer. Ridiculous and only honor what’s in the computer. Plus last time I went I didn’t get my free pizza. They offered to make it for me but would have had to wait another 45 min. No thanks. Their pizza is only mediocre anyway. I’m done with them for good. FYI, employee was very sweet and seemed annoyed by the situation also since she has to deal with it all the time.

Summed up, not worth it at all. I said I hadn't been here before and was still looking when a lady walked ahead of me, I said go for it I am still looking. Low quality and very little flavor and of the 4 salsas at the salsa bar were all bland. I'm very white and this place is not good Mexican food. I ordered a chicken burrito and chips. The burrito was just soft, the chicken, fries, avocado, all of it was simply soft, not much texture to anything. My chips were the last bits of crumbs from the bag. My son got a kids quesadilla, fries (extra $.25 at that), apple sauce, and drink. I asked if they had some simple tacos, he said the 2 types of street tacos and I said sure 2 of each. I didn't know 4 "street tacos" would be $21.... like really?? I go to get the salsas and see 6 empty trays on the counter, as I am a disabled Vet I use a cane to walk, and not wanting to make multiple trips from the salsa bar to the table I grabbed a try. The guy that took our order says I can't have that tray and they don't give out trays. I hold up my cane and said I don't walk very well and didn't want to spill or make multiple trips. He gave me another tray to use and said again they don't give out trays to use here. Our food comes and the tacos looked poor then I looked at the receipt and was even more let down at the price vs quality. My son's kids meal is in a to go bag. I asked for a plate so he could eat in with me. I go grab 2 spoons for salsa and my son's apple sauce, both were not clean at all. I do not see any reason to ever return to this entire restaurant chain. Even the floors are pretty dirty all over.

Total rip off. Did not get everything it said it came with. I ordered a pick up order and had no time to check my food. When I got home I realized my cilantro lime bowl had NO avocado and my shrimp bow had 1 piece of romaine lettuce!!!

We order dinner from Rubio’s quite often through the app. It’s always hot and ready for pickup as soon as I finish the order and head out of the house. They are always incredibly friendly when I walk in. My favorites are the gourmet shrimp tacos and California bowl. My son loves the original fish tacos and their beans and cheese. I also love their new rewards system so I’m incentivized to eat there more often. Thanks!

Went for Taco Tuesday and was told by the person at the counter only the fish tacos were on special, not the Mahi tacos, only the fish tacos. 😳🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️ Also my Keto fish taco had corn salsa dumped all over both of them...

Ordered ahead in the app. My order was ready and waiting upon my arrival. Oddly, the same meal (a build - your - own tacos kids meal) came with different filling choices than the same meal ordered at a different (Carlsbad) Rubio's location. Don't get me wrong - the citrus rice is tasty - but for building tacos, I believe I prefer the chopped romaine lettuce (available at the Carlsbad location) to the citrus rice that was the companion to the grilled chicken and shredded cheese to fill the very small, but very delicious flour tortillas I chose. There is no option in the app to add additional orders of extra warm tortillas, so I requested to add some on to my order inside the restaurant. They are a little bit pricey for how tiny they are but boy, are they delicious. They toast them up fresh when you order them. You can add all sorts of other extras and add-ons in the app, though. I added an extra individual fish fillet. A small fillet, perfectly beer battered, not greasy at all and perfectly prepared - lightly fried to perfection - so light, tasty and satisfying! A little squeeze of fresh lemon or lime slice (free add-on from the Salsa Bar) for $2 it rounded out my meal just right. Seriously, they should do a fish n chips plate because they have the preparation on those fillets NAILED!!

It was slow, so the food came quickly. The manager was very polite and apologized for having me wait. I've missed Rubios ever since I moved to VA 8 years ago, so the food, as always, was delicious.

Out of a couple years of going to this place for Mexican food my honest opinion is that this place is pretty good you just have to know what you like. Have they messed up on my order before yes, have they not giving me everything I've ordered before yes, but if you go to restaurants long enough they all will make a mistake at some point. They do have a really good good customer service that will try to make things right if you fill out one of their surveys. Out of what's available in that area they are pretty good as far as quality and customer service in my opinion.

I now understand why this location has a 1 star. Because it happened to me! I paid for meal to include tomatoes, mayo and lettuce. That was an additional cost! And yet, you have these fast food workers that aren't paying attention to the number system. I feel bad for the person who got my meal, because a lot of people don't like tomatoes and lettuce 👀.... McDonald's workers are asking for higher wages? Nah with bad service!

A little concerned today. Felt a bit weird with my stomach after stoppint by for a quarter pounder with cheese. I know an establishment can be so busy that some steps must be skipped to meet corporate micromanaging standards, but cooking ground meat all the way through cannot be skipped. I had to take a picture for the just in case. The people were nice and doing their jobs, but something is wrong when they are rushing through. Please take note McDonald's and customers just be aware. Also 50.00 for some food is not worth the possibility of food poisoning.

After looking seeing the ratings here. I can see why it's so low. I placed my order through the kiosk and stood at the counter waiting for assistance. A customer who already had her order requested something from the Supervisor or Manager who was closest to the counter, even though she had seen me standing there. The Manager assisted her before me. So, I stood waiting to pay for my order. She had me just waiting as continued to do what she was doing. There were other staff there that could've help me. But I must have the power of being invisible. Maybe it's because the lady she helped before me was also the same race as her. I don't know! But I didn't like how I was ignored. Do better McDonald's!!!

The food was fine, but it did the trick. However, getting it was an ordeal. The wait time was unusually long, especially for a fast-food restaurant that wasn't overly busy. While we were waiting, it was hard not to notice how dirty the dining area was. Most of the tables were sticky and had crumbs on them, and the floor could have used a good cleaning. The food was okay, but the long wait and lack of cleanliness really brought the experience down.

Don’t come to this nasty place there are several McDonald with way better costumer service and quality food. Worst McDonald in San Diego. Save yourself some time!

I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with the disgraceful service I received at your McDonald’s location at 725 E Street in Chula Vista on the evening of July 16, 2025, at approximately 8:40 p.m. I placed my order in the drive-thru and was told to pull forward to wait for my food, which supposedly needed “a few minutes.” I waited patiently — for over 15 minutes — while multiple cars behind me were served and left. After that excessive and unacceptable wait, I finally went inside to inquire about my order. What I encountered inside was nothing short of outrageous. The staff had no idea what my order was, and instead of offering an apology or showing any concern, they threw out excuse after excuse and even had the audacity to accuse me of lying about how long I had been waiting. The tone, the attitude, and the lack of professionalism from your employees were absolutely disgusting. After 25 minutes, I finally received my food — cold and carelessly put together. To make matters worse, during this frustrating ordeal, my daughter urgently needed to use the restroom, and when I asked for the key, I was told that the bathrooms were “broken.” Convenient, isn’t it? Your staff insisted they were “understaffed,” yet I counted at least five employees standing around, laughing and chatting — clearly not overwhelmed or overworked, just indifferent. They had plenty of time to argue with me but not enough time to do their jobs. No apology. No accountability. No basic customer service. Just rudeness, delays, and disrespect. This was by far one of the worst fast food experiences I’ve ever had, and I have no intention of returning to this location. If this is the standard McDonald’s is operating under, it’s shameful. I expect a response and would hope, at the very least, that you address this situation and hold your team accountable. People deserve better than this.

This Mcdonald’s location specifically always manages to mess up my order. In the morning forgetting an item on my breakfast order to just ordering a plain burger, they manage to get my order wrong. I am just not going to go to this location anymore. Double check your order before you leave the drive in pick up window and if your inside the restaurant, check your order at the counter.

So I asked for the THINK Large Pepperoni and a 2 Lt. Soda. Did I say THIN.(I repeated twice) Well; I got home and had a large, but NOT thin pizza. It was dry, warm (not hot) 🤦‍♀️ Was not worth stopping at this Little Ceasars.....

Worst little Caesars by far! Worst service I have ever had over and hour wait. Employees were ignoring customers. They don't complete your order had to go back. Never going back to this Little Caesars again. Don't recommend.

Service is good. Prices though are weird compared to nearby little Caesars. This location is about 30-35% higher than surrounding locations. With current prices, please shop around. A couple miles can save you 30%.

Good place to get pizza. It's price is cheap and is food is readily available. Only draw back is that they don't carry any chicken wings. But overall, it's a good place to buy pizza. I would recommend this place to friends or family members.

So disappointed 😞, I ordered a supreme pizza and they put pepperoncini (in vinegar) instead of regular green bell peppers. I couldn’t eat it and didn’t had time to wait for another pizza because I had to be home for my next class. So a lady offer me my money back, and I was starving so I told her to give me a pepperoni and it taste like cardboard like if it had hours on the box. Can believe I pay almost $7 dlls for that nasty pizza.

They are HORRIBLE THEY CALL THIS TOO BUSY TO ANSWER THE PHONE when there was literally one customer so when i asked why dont you guys ever answer she roceeded to tell me if i want it faster i should have ofdered online which there is no mention of that on the answering machine there is literally 5 people working and as you see I am having plenty of time to write this review I guess little Caesar's will become a thing of the past soon cause I am still waiting and was informed there will be a 20 minute wait for 3 bot an readys 1 no sauce👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
