I will say it again if it's this popular it cannot be that good. Go here with someone who has never had Ukrainian food before and they will love it, very good intro to Ukrainian food for newbie. the meats should have had more flavor. Sauerkraut was lacking fermentation taste. I enjoyed the borscht and the mushroom sauce.

Veselka had a nice vibe with a lot of energy. It was busy but not stressful. The pierogi were the highlight, soft and full of flavor. The borscht was also very good, fresh and comforting. The schnitzel was fine, and the potato pancake was really good, crispy outside and soft inside. I didn’t care much for the beef stroganoff, it felt too heavy and not very flavorful. The service was a bit slow but the staff were friendly. Overall, it’s a lively spot with good food and a few dishes worth coming back for.

I loved and still love Veselka after all of the years. The borscht always hits. I wish they used better Ukrainian bread and not American bread. The dumplings are always yummy and tender. Latkes or potato pancakes are so fluffy - one of the best ones I have ever had even in comparison with my grandmas and that says a lot. Today I tried beef Stroganoff for the first time and I was disappointed but wasn't fully satisfied. I like everything except the meat because of how not tender it was. Medovyk is always to die for!!!

Normally I will get something more authentic, and it's always really, really good. Today I wanted to get the burger, which I was very skeptical of, but it was fantastic. The meat was cooked perfectly, the bun was very soft, abs the Ukrainian dressing added a very unique flavor. Fantastic.

Great place for some authentic Ukrainian food! They had a spicy chicken entree and the waiter warned me 3 times that it trusty is incredibly spicy and boy was she right! I do wish that the blueberry vareniki weren’t seasonal they are absolutely amazing. But great place for some Ukrainian cuisine.

This is a happy eatery with authentic cuisine served in a classy way. There is limited space inside, so lunches are packed. Plenty of seating outside available. Breakfasts are fabulous.

A yearly treat that is worth the wait every single time. I would hands down marry whoever makes the borscht and blintzes here—no questions asked—just to secure lifelong access to how truly delicious they are. Others in my group rave about the pierogies, stuffed cabbage, and eggs Benedict, and not one dish has ever disappointed. The interior feels like a Ukrainian work of art, and the staff are always friendly, welcoming, and wonderfully attentive. This place is a true gem and an absolute must-visit.

Steamy soft and addictive rice roll and plenty of stuffing such as shrimp beef or pork. The line js long but move quickly. There’s limited seating but don’t let that stop you from trying it out.

Great snack! Got the steamed rice roll with pork, egg, chives, bean sprouts and corn. The rice rolls had a satisfying texture, but don’t expect a lot of pork or veggie filling. They rolls definitely benefit from the sauce as well, as they are otherwise a bit flavorless and bland in taste.

This place is overrated. It’s the Flushing location. The space is so small. They have the first shop location in this small food court/hall, so they attract all the customers. The vendors in the back are so bored that they’re on their phones. There is limited counter seating, and when people walk past you, it’s easy to get bumped. It’s not a comfortable eating situation for a big group for sure. I got the soy milk, and it was good. They have condiments, like soy sauce and chili sauce. No bathroom.

Joe’s Steamed Rice Rolls now has a new location inside the food court at New World Mall in Flushing. The rolls are made fresh to order and come with several free topping options to customize your order. The rice rolls are slightly thicker than most, giving them a chewy texture that makes them really satisfying. The chili hot sauce is optional but adds a great kick of flavor that balances perfectly with the soft rice rolls. Overall, this spot is a solid choice for a quick, fresh, and authentic snack in the mall.

This is a popular hole in the wall place across the street from New World Mall. The steam rice rolls here are simple and delicious. You can pick from existing combinations or make your own. They also make Chinese crepes here. Sitting is limited and in the summer, it can get really hot.

It’s so easy to miss the shops in New York cuz their front doors are small. I actually walked by this location and ended up in the location in the food court across the street. I hope the quality is the same. The rice rolls are thin that is what I wanted. The fillings were ok I didn’t pay much attention to them. The services were good. The good thing eating in the food court is that there are plenty of seats.

I live in Canada, on my NYC trip this is the first Chinese restaurant I tried the food; my mind just blown away by how delicious the food was. We ordered lamb dumplings and lamb noodles; it was so good that we ordered dumplings again. Without thinking anything you can just order the lamb noodles; it’s spicy, exactly the way I like it. I think I will make a NYC trip just to have food in here. Simply awesome. Just loved it.

The restaurant is very clean and well-kept. Service was friendly, and the food came out really fast – great if you’re short on time. Most importantly, the taste was excellent: fresh, authentic, and flavorful. The dumplings and noodles had just the right amount of spice and were full of flavor. Wow this was interesting! Came here because of the amazing pictures on Google. We both got the pulled noodles and shared soup dumplings. A little bit pricey for Chinatown ($22 for a noodle dish and dumplings) but it came quick and portions were massive. Tables were really tall so tough to eat for short people. Dumplings were good but not very soupy. Noodles were delicious with a great texture. Mine wasn't spicy enough but my friends definitely was. Very messy so def don't wear a white shirt, lol! I really liked this but definitely was an intense meal.

I got the spicy oil noodles and the hibiscus drink. Both so good. The noodle sauce has a slight acidity that enhances the flavor. The noodle is cooked to a good texture which is a good kinda chewiness but not too hard (also not too soft which is the beauty of pulled noodle). The drink is nice and cold, not too sweet; perfect pair for the slightly spicy noodles. The place is clean and air conditioned with plenty of seats. Also liked the self order kiosk which makes the line go faster. In general a good experience and will come back.

I have walked in here many times ... looked at the menu... but was always too full to try it. But I always looked at the menu even before visiting NY and added to all my lists so I remembered to make it my first stop (after Mamoun's) upon arriving in NY. During this visit to NY, we came here TWICE (Yea, it was that good!!!) and ordered the following: [N1] Spicy Cumin Lamb Hand-Ripped Noodles - insanely delicious, we ordered in the spiciest option, but it really wasn't too spicy but still perfect. We ended up going back the next day to order this again. Definitely and highly recommend. [N2] Spicy & Tingly Beef Muscle Hand-Ripped Noodles - we ordered in the spiciest option; the proportion of protein to noodles was a little off. [F4] Spicy & Sour Lamb Dumplings (7) - this was definitely a different taste, the lamb was a little tough compared to the lamb with the noodles. It did share the same "tingly" taste as the Beef muscle hand-pulled noodles. They have self-service kiosks available, which is super helpful if it gets crowded. Instead of a basic menu, they have digital images of the dish, the name and the price. I remember once upon a time, they had printed pictures...but either way it is all helpful to see what we are getting. The prices definitely increased and average about $14/dish. They accept both cash and card, even google pay (maybe also apple pay). There is plenty of seating available, unless it gets very crowded. At first I wasn't thrilled about the disposable plates, but in the end, it's much easier since people are tossing their own garbage and leaving trays at the entrance. There is a bathroom available, the code is provided at the counter. Would I return? Definitely without a doubt!!

Xi’an Famous Foods Chinatown, NYC 🥢 Cold Skin Noodles (涼皮) We found the classic 涼皮 really comforting and something you’d definitely want to come back for. It was tossed in a chili oil–based sauce, nothing fancy but flavorful and satisfying. 🥟Spinach Dumplings They were on the lighter side, which balances out the 涼皮. The filling was a little dry on their own, but adding chili oil helped balanced it out. Would’ve loved the option to mix dumpling flavors (half spinach, half lamb) though! Atmosphere: The restaurant was generally comfortable to dine in. However, many of the tables had smudges or leftover sauces, which made the space feel a bit less clean than expected. Overall, this is a place I’d definitely go back to again! Would’ve loved to try out the other dishes as well, which I’m sure would taste great!

Clean and lots of space to sit - order on the kiosk or at the front. Delicious and spicy is great. To-go orders you can keep the sauce on the side, which is nice.

A little hard to find but well worth the search. The service was fast and pleasant. You can tell the owners/workers take pride in what they are doing. I got the chicken sandwich and it did not disappoint. The biscuits are top notch and the flavor on the chicken is really good. So often you get chicken sandwiches that are dressed up with all kinds of things that disguise the lack of flavor in the chicken itself. The toppings complimented the chicken, leaving it front and center. Can you get a better chicken sandwich in the city? I’m sure you can find a few somewhere. Can you get a better chicken sandwich for under $7? Absolutely not. A new LES staple

The place is good for a quick bite. The space is small but very cute. I had the Chicken Biscuit with gravy and cole slaw and it was okay. The prices are good and so is the service. You can always get the food to go and enjoy it at Seward Park which is close by. I might go back and try their shrimp po'boy and their beignets.

A wonderful hidden gem. It’s so easy to miss the door to the shop. I think I walked by twice before I was able to find it. The service is great. The woman at the counter was so friendly and nice. I had the shrimp po boy sandwich and it was so damn tasty and fresh. The French bread was nice hot and soft. The shrimp had great flavors and the veggies were all fresh. She also gave me a beignet to try and it was delicious. They have bar seating and one table on the inside. Definitely coming back to try the chicken biscuit sandwich.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! This is your local hole-in-the-wall sandwich joint. There’s no signage and it’s covered in graffiti and looks abandoned. I walked right past it 4 times before I finally found it and it was well worth the hunt. Not to be hyperbolic, but this was probably the best sandwich I’ve ever had. I had the short rib, but the pork sandwich sounded amazing too, so I’ll definitely be back to try that. There was no wait and I was in and out for under $10 - almost unheard of in NYC. I just can’t say enough good things.

Wow. Amazing Hole-in-the-Wall place with amazing quality food for ridiculously low prices. The Crispy Chicken Buttermilk sandwich is one of the most genuine dishes I’ve had in a while. Service is good but there isn’t much place to sit except on the bar and 1 table in the corner. Great Beignets too!

One of the best spots in New York City! Southern style sandwiches in a locally ran place. This may be the most messiest meal you eat, but so worth it. place looks very basic and simple but it felt really authentic and unique. The walls have poems and posters to read whilst you wait. Do note that there is no clear sign outside the restaurant and we walked past it a few times looking for it. What is strange is that they had no soft drinks other than their ginger ale. They gave complimentary beignets after we are freshly made that were warm and soft!!! Vegetarian option available which sounds great!!

Said to be the best Falafel in New York and it certainly did not disappoint. I am not too much of a fan of falafel, but this is pretty good. The sauce is a little bit too sour to my taste.

Been coming to this location for many years. Absolutely delicious food and the atmosphere brings back great memories. But lately I have noticed things are definitely changing. They got rid of their original homemade lentil soup. They now serve some ready made soup instead. Definitely not the same experience. Last time I was there, they were all out of shawarma and lamb kebab. They only had falafel, kofta and chicken kebab, at 9pm! I’ve been to this place hundreds if not thousands of times, never have I seen them be out of any kind of dish. It’s not the end of the world but when you take a long trip for over an hour to grab some good old shawarma sandwiches just to find out that they’re all out, it’s disappointing. I have been to some of their other locations but nothing beats an original location. I hope they bring back some of the old experience and continue to keep this place great as it always has been.

Wow, this place was amazing. The shawarma had the perfect balance of perfectly seasoned meat and refreshing vegetables. The falafel was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Their menu offers great quality at very affordable prices. Just a heads-up, they only take cash, so come prepared

Excellent falafel shop near Washington Square Park with generous servings for the price. Outdoor seating on a classic Village street makes it a great stop for falafel.

Straight up solid falafel and shawarma pitas. The falafel is light and delicious and the shawarma is browned and savory. Hummus is smooth as butter. Hot peppers, spice, tahini makes the flavor POP. 1 or 1 tables inside, so be prepared to sit outside at one of their covered tables.

Order a shawarma, just the sandwich. Taste was outstanding, service kind and fast. Can’t see how you’d go here and be disappointed.

This is one of the most famous Chinese bakeries in Manhattan’s Chinatown, and I’d heard so much about it from food vloggers that I had to try it for myself. I went with a friend on a weekend afternoon, and even though it was later in the day, the place was still packed. We waited about 10 minutes in line, but the staff kept things moving quickly, and once we ordered, our food came right away since everything is freshly baked and ready to go. The selection is huge, but we decided to stick with their signature items: the pineapple-crusted pork bun and the original pork bun. Both were delicious, but the pineapple version really stood out. It’s essentially the same soft, savory pork bun, but topped with a golden pineapple crust that adds a crunchy texture and a subtle sweetness—it feels like a deluxe upgrade of the classic. The original pork bun was flavorful and satisfying as well, filled generously with savory pork. These buns work great as a snack or can easily be shared between two people. Overall, it was a fun and tasty stop, and I’d definitely come back to try more of their offerings.

The legendary “pineapple” bbq pork bun lives up to its reputation👍Glad that we came early while there’s no line but it’s a treat that’s worth the wait. The bun has perfect crust, generous tasty juicy filling in a thin sweet bun roll. And the size is decently large. Also highly recommend the “Big” special bun. It’s basically a meal in large steam bun with tons of filling with pork, chicken, Veggies, Chinese sausage, even eggs. Very very tasty and a real low cost and quick power-up as a refill for touring NYC and Chinatown and nearby areas. We did not sit down and just inhaled the buns next to the shop and moved onto the next destination 🤣 Overall a great visit for the bun. Totally worth the trip 🥰

I was here with my buddy today and we stopped in for a quick bite. This is one of the best roast pork buns and shumai I ever had. Interestingly the fusion Chinese food I had in Peru might still be my favorite but this was great. The roast pork was tender and sweet, and the bun was nice and soft. I would have easily devoured another one but we still had other places to try. The shumai was packed with flavor and I enjoyed those just as much. They’re very busy as they should be, but the line moved fast. Within 2 minutes my order was taken and I got the food very fast. The roast pork bun was $2.50 and shumai was $6.50. The menu online shows $3 and $7.50 so the prices must have recently gone down or the menu is just wrong. I would definitely come back here and try the pineapple pork bun.

I first heard about this place through my boyfriend and his sister. She came on vacation and came back from NY with 2 bags of these delicious pork buns!!! I tell you one of the BEST flavors I’ve tried in my life! The buns are soft and fresh, and the pork is deliciously flavored! 🤤 BRING CASH!!! Because it’s faster to pay at the end; line for cards is usually slower. (If you are in a hurry that is) PS: The buns are only $2.50 each !!!!! 🫨

Great buns at affordable prices! I loved both the pineapple roast pork buns and the roast pork buns — sweet, savory, and uniquely delicious. The line is split into two (cash and card), and I waited about 10–15 minutes. Once I placed my order, the buns came out within a minute or two. The pork does have some fat, so if you prefer lean meat, this might not be for you. I’ll definitely be back to try the egg yolk bun — it’s something I can’t find anywhere else near where I live!

Rating: 4.4/5 I've been wanting to try their Pineapple Bun with Roasted Pork ($3.10) for the longest time, but there's usually a long line whenever we pass by. This time, we came on a Tuesday around 10 AM and luckily, there was no wait. We ordered through the kiosk since we paid with credit card. The estimated wait was 20-30 minutes, but our order came out in about 5 minutes. If you pay with cash, it seems you get your food even faster. The price is amazing for the value. We ate the bun right away, and it was so good! The pineapple crust had that nice textured crisp, while the inside was soft and airy. It wasn't as sweet as I expected, which I liked. The pork filling was flavorful and generously portioned. While I really enjoyed it, I wouldn't wait more than 20-30 minutes for it.

This place is always a great stop for easy and delicious lunch. It is popular though so expect a line pretty much any time but if you have cash you can often go right up to the counter. The pineapple roast pork buns are famous for a reason - nice crust on the bun and the sweet and savory flavor combo is awesome and took me back to Shanghai. But as good as those were, I tried the fried sticky rice with chicken and that blew me away with how good it was. So definitely get a pineapple bun but it’s worth trying some of their other items too! It’s a great spot!

-The narrowest restaurant in the world but who cares?- Hearty food. Fresh and delicious stuffed cabbage. Soups here are soooo good, especially Mushroom Barley which served with delight side bread. Been coming here for the past 25 years and its consistency is always there.

Perfect, cozy, traditional NY Deli food except better because it’s vegetarian! Excluding fish, which is pretty much my NY family’s definition of vegetarian too. Almost immediate service and later hours then you’d expect make this the perfect place to go if you don’t want cook but don’t want to make an ordeal of eating out. You get to play it like it’s 1950 at a very traditional NY deli counter and get all the Eastern European comfort foods like knishes, borscht, pierogi, fresh-baked challah, and blintzes. Also all the old favorite drinks like egg cream. Always satisfying and always tastes fresh and comforting.

Soup is SOOO good. The lentil soup and the mushroom barley soup are the best I’ve had in the city (and I’m a soup fanatic). Very homemade tasting, perfectly flavorful and nourishing. Love that there’s so many different size options to choose from too. Vegetable soup is pretty good too- love all the cabbage and clean taste.

This lovely place is like a time capsule in the endless changing restaurant scene of NYC . The breakfast menu is classic dinner dishes and most of the food is cooked in front of you if you’re sitting on the bar. The prices are also from a different era and over all is a must visit. Enjoyed the omelette and the pancakes. People say the blintzes are great but they were out of them when we eat there.

I love this place and come every time I'm in the city. It's one of the few classic LES staples that's still open in an infuriatingly gentrified neighborhood that's lost most of its culture. Service is great, I'm never waiting to get the servers attention. Food comes fast. All the soups are good. The pierogis are great, especially love that the cheese ones are sweet. The lasagna could use more cheese but it's still good. I hope this place never closes. Please support the OG businesses here as they have rapidly closed to make room for ✨ gentry brunch ✨ bullshit.

This place is top notch. I have walked past this place for 25+ years and have always been curious about the food. Finally made it here because of a craving for borscht. I'm so glad I did. The place was packed on an early Saturday afternoon. The space is tiny. Ordered the borscht, lentil soup, veggie burger, potato pancakes with sour cream and apple sauce. Everything was delicious. Let me tell you, you won't leave hungry for sure. And!!!! the service was super quick and very friendly!!! They really make you feel welcomed here. I can't wait to go back and try more stuff.

I was shocked by how good the adobada, guacamole, and fresh salas were (I would say you can akip the pollo asado and maybe even the care asada though they are good too). Ive heard so many negative things about the Mexican food in NYC. Im so glad I had an excellent experience 😋. The restaurant was abaolutely spotless and the staff was all excellent too. I hope to come back sometime.

This is one of our favorite stops in NYC! The food is exceptional and we have not had one bad experience. The best taco is the pork one but you can’t go wrong with any of their selections.

Pretty good, I'd probably give this 3.5 stars if i could. Pros: adobada pork is the winner here, it's very good and worth returning just for that alone. All the food is clearly fresh and made with intent. Good side bar avail with extra toppings Cons: cost is too high for what you get. i like a bit of crumbled mexican cheese on my tacos which is not standard here. No beer. No bathrooms. Guac is too blended into a goo for my taste. And the steak and cactus tacos are totally forgettable.... mostly bland.

BEST TACOS I’VE EVER HAD. if you’re visiting New York City, this place it’s a must try!! everything is so good, starting with the staff and the tacos are freshly made with handmade tortillas. The workers definitely deserve a rise because they’re doing an AMAZING job!!!

LOS TACOS No.1 serves authentic and flavorful tacos, and I tried the pollo asado (chicken), adobada (pork), and carne asada (beef) — all were excellent. A big plus for me is that they offer wheat flour tortillas, which is great if you’re not a fan of corn tortillas. The staff are friendly, though service is minimal, as the spot is more about quick, casual dining. The atmosphere is simple and lively, perfect for a quick bite in the area.

The service is fast, the tacos were great, and the tortillas were freshly made … will definitely be thinking about these again. Highly recommend!

Was in the area for work and figured why not! Well I was pleasantly surprised that although the line was really long….the wait wasn’t. I had the chicken tacos which were very tasty. The food was fresh, quickly prepared and did not disappoint. Stop in for a quick bite to eat. Just a side note.. there are no tables just high tables to stand and eat at.

Since I was in the area I sought out a place to go that offered the best slice and this place came up with lots of very positive reviews, so I went. They were really busy/crowded around 1:30PM on a weekday, but it only took a few mins to place my order, which was just a slice of cheese pizza. Because they’re so busy, they are constantly popping new, fresh pizzas in the oven, so they have lots of great options to choose from by-the-slice, which looked great and definitely weren’t sitting out very long, but they put what ever you order in the oven and re-heat it when you order it. I took my slice, which was reasonably priced outside to one of the hi-top tables along the sidewalk and ate it. It was piping hot, but very tasty. I especially liked the crust/dough. It was perfectly sturdy, slightly crisp and very tasty. The sauce was OK, but nothing special. The cheese was stringy and pretty darn good. Overall – Very nice pizza! I definitely would enjoy a whole pie from this place! Give it a try!!

We stopped by Joe’s Pizza in New York with my child because it’s a famous spot featured in Spider-Man — my child’s favorite movie. It was very crowded, but the line moved quickly. We ordered two slices of classic sausage pizza — juicy, crispy, and you can add extra cheese on top. Prices are reasonable (we paid $10 for two slices). A popular and fun place definitely worth a visit!

Good quality takeaway pizzas. Good crust and more variety of toppings on offer. It's not the cheapest one, but it's definitely better than the cheaper outlets. I tried the spinach and it was delish. They have your usual condiments to add to your slice, like chilli flakes, garlic powder, grated parmesan and oregano. Washed it all down with a root beer.

I expected the pizza to be better. Joe’s pizza quality is better in Brooklyn and at the 42nd and broadway location. I expected the pizza quality to be better - the guy taking orders completely ignored me and tried to ask the people behind me what they wanted to order and they were just looking at me lol - my bf and dog were saving a table for me outside. I guess they are not used to people coming in alone and ordering ? LOL . Overall it was a good experience but again I expected the quality of the pizza to better since I already tried Joe’s Pizza on many other numerous occasions at various other locations! It’s usually always packed at a joes pizza , but you could get lucky and catch it open when you want to order pizza when it is not so busy. But I get it, the pizza is good and it is popular! Also they are literally open all night like how god damn convenient is that - especially for our night owls like myself.! I'm not sure what the hype is about this pizza... I've had way better pizza than this!! The satff are nice and the line moves relatively fast. But I don't think it's worth waiting in the line for more than 30-40 minutes. There are only a few spots to sit and enjoy your pizza inside the restaurant and there are a couple of tables outside.

Update I went back to get that large pizza pie, half plain half pepperoni and it was definitely worth the trip I finally made my way to Joe’s Pizza. In route to the Chevelle Concert and I will say that their pizza is most definitely real deal. I had the typical one plain slice and a pepperoni slice been flaky, delicious crust, natural pizza, taste go back and bring home a large pie in the near future. Just so you’re aware they have tables and benches outside so depending on what side you get in, you don’t have to force yourself to eat inside you could eat outside as well I actually had tried to bring a large pie home after the concert, but they literally had a line that was going out the door so I would’ve had to come by when it’s more quiet in the afternoon versus the night time

I had high expectations since this was suggested by many. It was alright for me. The crust was decent. I only liked the margherita slice. We asked for a veggie slice but they said they can only give a whole pizza and not by slice. I did not like the ricotta cheese slice. I expected more but it's decent and feel like I've had better ones

Chelsea Market is lively and full of great food options, but it was extremely crowded during my summer visit. It’s definitely a popular spot, but the large crowds made it hard to fully enjoy the space. Unfortunately, the restrooms were not clean, which took away from the overall experience. For such a well-known attraction, I expected better maintenance. Still, it’s worth stopping by if you’re in the area—just try to go during off-peak hours.

This is one of the most fantastic markets in the United States, the business within Chelsea Market are fantastic! It's mostly dining options but there are quite a number of mom and pop retail stores as well. We couldn't recommend a visit to Chelsea Market highly enough. It's a special NYC destination and super cool!

It’s in New York City's Meatpacking District. Chelsea Market’s history: It was formerly a Nabisco factory where the Oreo cookie was invented. I like its unique industrial-chic architecture. It’s close to High line, an elevated old train track turned garden walk way. One of my most favorite way to walk through NY without cabs in my way. Just a safe space looking down on NY streets.

Great market with plenty of shops to check out and food options. There are restaurants with many different forms of cuisine to choose from with indoor and covered outdoor seating. Shops including clothing stores, gift shops, stalls for local artists, and foods. There are also restrooms on the lower level that are clean and well maintained. While we were here it was decorated for Halloween!

This might be the best market in Manhattan. It has a cultural and historical impact. Also you can see the architecture still remaining from the past. It’s a big place where you can find a diverse kind of business. Food, art, souvenirs and there’s also free restrooms made with some interesting materials.

The market is nice and looks very stylish. It’s buzzing even on a Sunday evening. There is a good enough selection of food options although they may not be extra top notch. Overall worth checking out if you are in New York

Super cool to try local stuff from Ny tought it’s really Ny because you have a lot of stuff from around the world like many Chinese stuff. When I went there it rained a lot so the place got flooded! 😅 so the building is not that good, the place is amazing tought to visit and eat!

This is a small restaurant, not the push-cart style. We chose this shop because we wanted to eat in. But honestly I think the push-cart Halal Guys taste much better with the lil charred taste and smells better. Will defo try the other pushcart stores next time! Staff was very accomodating and friendly. Queued to order - choose your veg, meat and if you’d like I ordered the small size chicken over rice with their signature white sauce (lots of it, it’s a must!!). They are famous for their spicy sauce, according to them it is extremely spicy, so add carefully! The shop has about 8 seats available and were easily filled up. Luckily for us, someone left just when we finish ordering.

My husband and I enjoy both love the falafel and chicken plates. They are quite the treats...though we enjoy them without the rice. BLESSINGS 💌🌟

There are probably a thousand halal carts in NYC and I can promise you that 90% of them serve better food in terms of taste, value and number of calories. This place is over hyped. The rice is meh, the meat is meh and the sauces lack flavor. The hot sauce is too hot, without flavor or taste. The barbecue sauce doesn’t suit the food and the white sauce, well the white sauce is incredibly high in calorie count! Kind of defeats the purpose if one is trying to eat a somewhat healthy gluten free meal with grilled meats, rice and salad! And they nickel and dime you. Want olives? 60c. Want jalapeños? 60c. Want hummus? $1.50. Total - $18 and change. The combo tray that almost every cart guy offers in Times Square is $12 and has better taste and is better value for money.

We LOVED this shop! The bagels were always fresh, and they have a huge variety of Cream Cheeses to choose from. I loved the amount of Cream Cheese on the bagels (more is always better in my opinion.) Our Favorite Cheese was the blueberry, but my husband also liked their pumpkin and peach. We also got their New York Style Cheesecake with strawberries. It was divine, super silky smooth.

This place is already well-known for its bagels, and as expected, the smoked salmon bagel sandwich was really good. The freshly made bagels were tasty too, but the ones that had been sitting out for a while were a bit dry and hard, so I wasn’t sure they were anything special. When I ordered something to eat in and also wanted to buy some bagels to go, I had to go back to the pickup area to place and collect the to-go order, which was a bit of a hassle. The flow inside the store could definitely be better. Also, there’s no clear sign showing that the line for iced coffee is different from the regular coffee, so people end up walking back and forth — kind of confusing. Hope they improve that part.

I ordered the garlic bagel with garlic & herb cream cheese and it was absolutely delicious—highly recommend for any garlic lovers! The shop was very busy when I arrived, which just shows how popular it is. By the time I sat down to eat, the crowd thinned out a bit, but there was always a steady stream of people coming in. Ess-a-Bagel is a New York classic! 🥯 The bagels are huge, chewy, and flavorful, with generous cream cheese spreads. The wait can be a bit long, but totally worth it for one of the best bagels in the city.

The bagels were good! They've got a lot of toppings and options but I felt like it missed a little bit of seasoning and the experience itself ordering wasn't the easiest, it's messy and the attendants could've helped more and being more happy.. It could've been better.

Oh my, I haven't had a NY bagel in a long time. This is so delicious, soft, and tasty. They wrap the bagel so perfectly. There is counter seating and a few tables. Worth a try but know what you want to get before you get to the windows. They are quick to take your order and serve it quick as well.

Hands down the best bagels! Can't speak to the coffee, but oh man it was an amazing bagel. I got bacon and egg on a plain bagel with jalapeno cream cheese. It was not overly spicy, but it was flavorful and delicious. Of course it's a little messy, but wow it was SOOO GOOD! They are generous with the cream cheese but with the size of the bagels, it works well. Very filling. Definitely recommend. Was busy, but didn't wait too long.

I always heard that NY bagels are a must try and that they are the best. Last time I was in NY, I left disappointed w/ the bagel places we tried. Well Best Bagel changed my opinion. I ordered a plain toasted w/ sundried tomato spread and a plain reuben. The reuben wasn't bad and I really liked the sundried spread, but the hit was the bagel. This is what I expected from the hype about NY bagels. I think this is what people were talking about. For me it was the consistency of the bagel, not to airy or doughy. It was the right consistency without having to work to enjoy an almost perfect bagel.

Rather than get a bagel sandwich, I opted for just a single everything bagel with lox cream cheese spread in the middle - and this turned out to be really good The bagel, the main part of the meal, was just fantastic. It's one of the best bagels I've ever had. It's so fluffy, so easy to tear apart (even though I didn't have to in this case), and just so enjoyable to consume. It provides just enough resistance on the outside without being chewy. I loved the balance between the softness of the inside vs the solid nature of the outside, and it passed the knock test very well The lox cream cheese spread was also quite good. It was very creamy, and had a great thickness to it. The lox aspect of it wasn't very prevalent, so it was a little more on the side of plain cream cheese, but still liked it overall At just over $7, there isn't much in here outside of the bagel, but it honestly is still pretty filling since the bagel is quite large Overall, this bagel is a perfect example of what a great New York bagel should be like. 8.75/10

Came here on visit from the UK. Recommended by a bunch of people online. And ngl we were not disappointed at all. The bagels were amazing, had the classic with smoked salmon which was so yum, Philly cheesteak was a disspointment. The breakfast blend tea with milk was amazing (coming from a brit! 😅). Overall would recommend.

Came back twice just to be sure, my favorite bagel spot on my trip. These bagels are soft and are a substantial size. You wouldn’t be wrong just to only get cream cheese. They also serve good ice coffee. Classic combination for a delicious place.

We went to Gray's Papaya for lunch as a party of four. The line was short, so we were served quickly. We each ordered two hot dogs and a drink. The standard toppings like ketchup, mustard, relish, kraut and onions are free. You can add other toppings as well for a reasonable price. I went with ketchup on one and sauerkraut and mustard on the other. The kraut and mustard was my favorite! I love the combination of the soft bun, the roasted sausage and the tasty toppings. I also tried their famous Papaya drink, which has a unique fruity flavor and a somehow creamy texture. Beyond the food, you can really feel the history and tradition of this classic NYC eatery.

Simply… Delicious! You are in New York, you need to get a slice and a dog. Well, Gray’s papaya is the place for the hotdog! Five dollars for a hotdog and a large tropical style drink? Hands-down no-brainer! I ended up getting two of the No.3 specials; 3 hotdogs and a large drink for $11. This place proves my theory, ‘Filipino people are just amazing!’🇵🇭 You can get them plain, with ketchup, mustard, sauerkraut, and they’re sweet onions for free, or pay to have other condiments added. But I must say, been in New York a couple times, but this was the first time I hit Gray’s. Coming all the way from Vancouver British Columbia (for work), and I must tell you, hands-down, amazing, hot dog! You will not regret it! It’s a little small joint on the corner, a good little in and out style restaurant. The food was great! Hotdogs were very tasty and an incredible value! Three dogs and a 32oz drink for $11.50 can't be beat. Especially since they aren't cheap dogs. And that price includes getting it with the works! Ketchup, Mustard, Onions, Sour Kraut, and Relish. The drinks taste super fresh and were great as well. Highly recommend!

Finally made it to the original Gray’s Papaya on Broadway! The hot dog was delicious — perfectly grilled with that classic snap. Several options for toppings... relish, sauerkraut ,mustard, onions. A true NYC must-try spot.

Good cheap foods! We got a hotdog and a papaya drink. The hot dog was decent, especially for the price. They had lots of free toppings. Chili, cheese, and mayo toppings cost extra. We also tried the papaya drink but it was a bit sweet.

undoubtedly one of the cheap eats kings in new york. solid hotdog for only $3.25 with all the classic toppings available for free (ketchup, mustard, onions, sauerkraut, relish) or the more "premium" toppings avilable for 75 cents (cheese, chilli, mayo). the free toppings are more than good enough but the chilli cheese dog is actually pretty decent. the juices are all tasty and pretty sweet, but surprisingly thick.

These hot dogs are addictive! I enjoy them with a papaya drink delicious. It's unfortunate the prices are way too high .we understand inflation but this is ridiculous. And you could understand if you walk in and have a seat with a restroom ! But instead you stand up by the sometimes filthy counter and eat these expensive hot dogs . This business is an institution ny all the way so why not have some specials ? I don't believe I'm saying this but I remember when these dogs were 50 cents. I was a foot messenger and would fill up on one or two but now even with more to spend I'm a lot more conscious of finances and worth .

Best tacos in NYC near Times Square. There‘s usually a line out front, but it moves quickly and is absolutely worth the wait. The staff are super friendly, and the tacos taste amazing! When you want to get your taco, keep in mind you‘ll need to choose your type of tortilla (corn or flour) and sauces you prefer. Highly recommend!

Perfection. It was my first visit and try. They are opened late on Mondays, and I needed something delicious after a show. I ordered 2x of the adobada on flour tortillas, "con todo", and it was perfectly balanced, savoury and addictive. The line was very short when I arrived at around 10:00 pm with only a few people ahead of me. The service was fast and efficient, and the staff were warm and welcoming. It is stand-up eat and go style, which I personally enjoy. It was a very nice experience at this location. I will be dreaming about these tacos.

this was a while back, but my experience was so good actually. first try and first time and everything just hit the spot. tried their nopal, chicken (if i recall correctly). really flavorful and even heavy on its own so it was very filling and also satisfying at the same time. there are no seats, so it's a standing bar experience while waiting for your orders. it's a pretty straightforward ordering process as well where you queue and order, and basically just wait a while. i would love to try more varieties in my next visit.

Visiting from California where the tacos are famously delicious….this spot was a big recommendation….and it did not disappoint. It’s like the In-n-out of tacos….a well oiled machine that just pumps out goodness at a very impressive rate and consistency. 10 tacos made to order with special requests all togo in separate identifiable containers (foil wrapped plate with individually wrapped tacos) with a Coke and a water for under $80 is kind of a good deal in NY near Times Square. Btw…besides the vibe and show with your own chef building your order right in front of you, the tacos were hella delicious. The corn and flour tortillas both held strong, even after a 6-7 block walk….bangin tacos, I can highly recommend now too :)

Super popular taco spot in NYC — there’s almost always a line, but it moves fast so don’t worry. You grab a ticket first to order, pick your base (taco, tortilla, or quesadilla), then choose your filling — steak, chicken, marinated pork, or cactus. Hand your ticket to the cook and they’ll make it fresh right in front of you. There’s a sauce station after you get your food — the salsas are legit spicy and full of flavor. Totally worth the wait. Great food and an awesome NYC taco experience. 🌮🔥

Staff was super polite, and even though the line to order was long and went outside, it moved pretty fast. They make the food right in front of you, everything looks clean, and the team works quickly. The tacos were amazing — homemade corn and flour tortillas! Definitely worth the price and the wait.

One of the best tacos i’ve had in a while. I was traveling with my friends and one of them is Mexican, she definitely said it was pretty authentic. I recommend to get the tacos instead of the quesadillas cause they are extremely small for a quesadilla. Getting a table was hard for some people but since we are in group it is a bit easier to get a table cause 1 person can help us reserve, also just be prepared to eat while standing.

Yes, this is the place. I’ve been a regular since 2019 and it has never disappointed. The chicken is always fresh and perfectly cooked, and the famous hot sauce (handle with caution!) is what truly makes the flavor unforgettable. I could have it any day! On my recent visit after a couple of years, I tried the fries—they’re a nice addition but could use some seasoning. Still, the overall experience is consistently excellent, and it’s absolutely worth standing in line. Highly recommend!

I’ve heard about Halal Guys for many years, and food blogs always said it was good, but I’m usually not the type of person to go for this kind of food. Today, I finally decided to give it a try—I just wanted to know the taste. I was surprised at how good it was! I ordered the combo with chicken and BBQ ck, topped with white and red sauce. The sauces were flavorful—the red sauce was very spicy, but I could handle it. I will definitely come back again. I also noticed another halal place next door, but I chose Halal Guys because of the longer line, and it turned out to be worth it. The location is convenient, right across from the Hilton Hotel.

The Halal Guys are a true NYC staple — iconic, really. It’s still one of the best food buys out there, though the quality has been somewhat inconsistent since Covid. Funny enough, I recently had the most authentic Halal Guys experience at their Orlando branch. It may not be exactly what it once was (and it’s definitely no longer $7), but it remains beyond solid. On its good days, it’s still the best.

I tried The Halal Guys from their street food cart in NYC, and honestly, it’s unbeatable for the price. Huge portions, great flavor, and super satisfying. The chicken and gyro meat were both tender and perfectly seasoned — they go so well with the rice. The white sauce is creamy and rich, and the hot sauce packs serious heat 🔥 but in the best way. If you want a filling, tasty meal in New York without breaking the bank, this is the spot. Totally worth the line!

I’ve been a loyal customer of this place for a while now. However, during my recent visit to the area, I decided to try their new Spicy BBQ Chicken Platter. Naturally, I asked for a generous amount of white sauce. The taste and flavor were simply amazing. I can’t imagine going back to anything else from this place for quite some time, as I’ll be craving the Spicy BBQ Chicken every time. I must admit, it was a bit too spicy for my taste, but the white sauce saved the day.

Definitely worthy food delivery. I tried the platter and sandwich, and the chicken& fafafel platter is my favorite. However, I underestimated the hot sauce. It says very spicy but I don’t believe it, put 2 whole packs. Then I realized it wasn’t a lie and the white sauce can be my only choice. Again, I will recommend the platter to everyone.

At some point I think New York was mainly hot dog carts. Now, it’s all halal carts. This Yellow shirt classic food stand has been there since 1990. Now this stand typically as a line. They have another stand right across the street. So the concept here is platters. As street food- you have chicken, beef, falafel as options. For my vegetarians, the falafel is made in a separate cart so it can be separated from the chicken and beef. Its made fresh so I had a wait. They came out with 12 piping hot falafels and it was worth it. For the platters you get rice, vegetables and then your protein. In my case, 6 piping hot falafels. On top of it is pita bread and then white and red sauce. The white sauce is a lovely blend of mayonnaise and yogurt. A perfect blending of Mediterranean and American cultures. The red sauce is spicy and should be taken in limited quantities. If you get this to go, they wrap it up for you and put it in a bag. We walked back to the hotel and our food had stayed warm. The rice was flavorful, and the veggies and falafel. Combined with the white and red sauce this was a perfect meal. It cost me $12 + tax. They take cash and card. This line I can be long but what I know is that it’s worth it.

Exceptional food. Excellent atmosphere. Service is tops, except at the coffee shop. Yet their orchata coffee and the torta de queso (cheesecake) are a must try! The ibérico ham and cheese flautas (sandwiches) are also at par. Beers, wines, all good!

A lively and vibrant food hall serving up Spanish themed food and bev. Liquid olives, charcuterie and bev were the highlight for us. Personally am not big on shellfish so can't comment on that other than to say they had a wide selection and it was displayed nicely and looked fresh. I think it's odd and unfortunate that they didn't have Ham Croquetas (only chicken). The paella was decent, didn't blow me away but was not bad at all. Texture was on point and flavor was good.

We recently visited Little Spain for a family outing (party of six) and overall we loved it — we’ll definitely be back. We had: a beer to start, a jamón sandwich, a chorizo sandwich, a salami plate, ice cream and churros. Every bite delivered. The jamón and chorizo sandwiches were full-flavored, the salami plate very satisfying, and the churros + ice cream made for a perfect sweet finish. The space felt lively but not overwhelmingly crowded. We were able to find seats (though we had to split up our family of 6 into two adjacent tables) which worked fine — some reviews do warn that it can get quite busy and loud at peak times.  The vibe for us was just right — energetic without being chaotic. What we appreciated: • Great variety of Spanish-food offerings and strong execution. Other reviewers note that while some dishes are more dependable than others, the concept and setting are fun and flavorful.  • Good for sharing and exploring multiple items, which worked well with our group. • A large wine list (even though we didn’t drink wine), which signals they take the Spanish food & drink culture seriously. Things to be aware of: • It is a bit pricey. Some review­ers feel that the cost is on the high side for what you get.  • While our service was fine, other guests have mentioned slower service or that during peak times it becomes noisy and seating/movement can be less ideal.  • Because we had to split our group of six, if you have a larger party it might take a little extra coordination or you may ask ahead for contiguous seating. In summary: Strong recommendation from us. If you’re in Hudson Yards and want a lively Spanish-food trip with plenty of variety, this is a great pick. Just know it leans a little upscale in price and can fill up, so maybe go slightly off-peak or have a little flexibility with seating. ⭐️ We’ll definitely be returning.

There are so many delicious options — from tapas and paella to churros, jamón, and fresh seafood. Everything is full of flavor and beautifully presented. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, happy to help you explore different tastes from Spain. It’s also fun just to walk around the market area, grab a coffee, or try something sweet like churros con chocolate. Perfect for families, students, or friends looking to experience something unique in New York. Mercado Little Spain is truly a must-visit — a little piece of Spain in the heart of Manhattan!

Little Spain at Hudson Yards is the perfect hidden gem for authentic Spanish cuisine. You can find everything you crave — from pulpo a la gallega and tortilla de patatas to churros and a delicious jamón ibérico sandwich. The only downside was the staff at the seafood counter, who didn’t seem very friendly, but the server at the jamón stand was the complete opposite — very kind and attentive. Overall, a great experience, and I’ll definitely be back to try the gazpacho!

A stone throw away from The Vesel or The Edge, this is the place to unwind and settle into some good tapas, gazpacho, and a few sampling of seafood dishes topped with Vermouth drink. The La Barra offers three levels of dinning styles.

The interior was pretty crowded & hot. We were just there to sample the dogs! We ordered the all beef chili dog with chopped onions. Took 15 minutes for it but I’d say it was worth it! Crisp snap of the dog & the chili was flavorful! Sold!! We’ll be back!

Hot dog itself seems like it's deep fried so the skin is crisp while the inside stays juicy, with great pork flavor. The bun is pretty normal which seems like a waste when so much effort is put into the hot dog and toppings. Restaurant gets pretty loud and crowded with all the speakeasy customers but we were able to find a seat even on Saturday night. The hot dogs are on the smaller side so you can have one as a light meal or combine it with tater tots. Splitting two hot dogs and a side of loaded tater tots between two people is good for a full meal. Lil Ma hot dog - was intrigued by the peanut butter and it paired pretty well with the acidity of the pickles Elote hot dog - not as impressed by this one but good if you like the toppings included Nacho tater tots - reminds me of something you'd make at late night in a college dining hall and really hits the spot after a long day of walking around NYC

If you love a great hotdog, then Crif Dogs should be one of your go-to spots. I’ve been coming to the St. Mark’s shop for as long as I can remember because they have so many different options/combinations that you can get. Pretty much anything goes in term of your toppings. On this occasion I got two dogs, one tsunami and the other a chili dog. Both were good. The diced pineapple and scallions add great flavor to the tsunami dog. The chili dog was good, even though it was light on the chili and could have used some heat. Nevertheless it was still very good. Most of my visits have been in the wee hours of the night; 1-2 in the morning. On this visit it was a beautiful Sunday afternoon. On the weekends during the warmer weather they set up outside on the closed street and it’s a nice environment. So chilled and comfortable. Overall, if you’re in this part of the Village and you want a quick hotdog, then it’s definitely worth going to this legendary place. Give it a try because I’m sure you’ll love it.

This is the original Crif Dogs location, opened in 2001. It’s been my favorite place to get hot dogs and tater tots for 17 years. My favorite crif dog is the Chihuahua (bacon-wrapped with sour cream and avocado). Each dog, whether it’s pork and beef (crif), all beef (New Yorker) or the Bacon-Wrapped Crifs, all have a delightful snap with each bite. You can build your own dog and even start with a veggie, if you’re a non-meat eater. The list of toppings is extensive, including things like a fried egg, potato chips, sauerkraut, hummus, cole slaw, chili, and cheese. The tots are great. They have an amazing daily special: -Every day from 2-5 and 12am-close you will get 2 build your own dogs and a soft drink, beer, or cocktail for $10, $12, or $15 respectively. They are open late (2-3am) and the telephone booth leads to a speakeasy, just pick up the phone to get on the list. They also have two table top arcade games. You have to go down a few stairs to get in.

Visited Pommes Frites on June 30, 2025, at approximately 7:10 PM. The fries were undeniably the highlight—fresh, hot, crispy, and served in generous portions. They definitely live up to the hype when it comes to flavor and texture. However, the customer service left a lot to be desired. The male employee working the counter at that time showed no personality and came across as borderline rude. There was no greeting, no eye contact, and no effort to make us feel welcomed or appreciated. It was a surprisingly cold interaction that took away from an otherwise enjoyable food experience. Great fries, but hospitality matters—and unfortunately, it was missing during our visit.

I have been running a traditional Belgian frituur “Oma’s Frit” for 15 years 🇧🇪. I walked in here out of pure curiosity, because Belgian fries are not just food — they’re a network of tradition and perfection, built over generations. The secret to real Belgian fries lies in the quality and variety of the potatoes, the type of fat used, and precise control of temperature and frying time. Even how many potatoes are added to the fryer at once makes a difference: if you add too many, the temperature suddenly drops, which immediately affects the texture. A powerful fryer, the right fat, and especially the double-frying method with correct temperatures and timings are absolutely crucial. In Belgium, potatoes are delivered fresh every day, and we mostly use Bintje potatoes because of their unique flavor and structure. Occasionally we switch to Agria, but nothing truly compares to good Bintjes. With all that in mind, I was curious to give this place a try. I walked in… and honestly, I walked back out rather quickly. The bar for fries in Belgium is simply very high, and what I saw here didn’t reach that level. This is not meant as negative criticism, just an honest observation: real fries… that’s something truly Belgian. 🇧🇪🍟

This place has the best sauces! Fries are piping hot and have the perfect soft/crunch ratio. Aji Verde sauce was our BEST! In our four day trip we came twice.

Pommes Frites has always been a good to in order for me to satisfy my fries cravings. They serve great portions at a good price and there are sooo many options for sauces. They have great service , allowing you to try any of the flavors before you make you order and then in a matter of moments, youre meal is ready. The atmosphere is like an old tavern feel , but the seats and space is limited. But overall I love this place!

Another hit from the book One Food Wonders. It's all frites, frites, frites. The only question when you walk in is what sauce do I want with my frites and let me tell you it is not an easy one. Luckily with the amount of frites, even a small, you can pick 2 or 3 sauces and still get a good feel for all of them. I went with the Roasted Garlic Aioli. And in case you are wondering the holes in the tables are where you put the frites cones.

Delicious Cantonese food at very good prices. Everything I've order was very tasty and served in generous sizes. You have to try the duck and the noodles here. The place is small and doesn't have a certain vibe, just a place to sit and have great food, nothing pretencious. It feels authentic to me.

The food here feels genuinely authentic, the kind of dishes you won’t always find in more Americanized Chinese restaurants. Some flavors might be subtler than what you’re used to, but that’s part of the experience. If you’re the kind of diner who enjoys trying traditional dishes and exploring beyond the usual favorites, this is a great place to do that. They have a loooooong menu, so I would strongly recommend looking at it in advance if you can so that you know what to order when you sit down. Service is fast and efficient. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from a Chinatown restaurant: a little chaotic, but always interesting.

I had the wonton beef noodle soup at Great NW Noodlestown, and it blew me away. The food was so good that I forgot I was still in the United States. The noodles were perfectly chewy, the beef was super tender, and the wontons were packed with flavor. It was so good that I had to come back again. I wish I wish I had more time to try more of their menu. They are super busy, but still have time to take care of everyone. Good price. Great and friendly service. I recommend it.

Great food! very comforting and warm! I ordered the soy sauce chicken over rice, and shrimp dumplings and noodles in soup. Everything was delicious! The service was friendly, and you can tell it’s a local favorite with many regulars. I highly recommend and will definitely return to try more dishes!

Won ton is the best, Duck was so good it doesn’t have any smells, Crispy pork the meat is amazing but the skins I thought it would be more crispy and it’s a bit salty, however everything was good. The place was clean and cash only..

We visited the place to support the dying old China restaurant business. The overall experience was disappointing. First, the place was relatively modern and new compared to the other old establishments here. But the place was filled with unpleasant seafood odor. The food in general has its authenticity to it, but not well prepared. Shrimp shell in wontons or flour lump in wonton skins. The duck had not much meat and the chashu was way too fatty. Overall, it is an old and authentic Chinatown restaurant, but it was not a good one.

Looking for brunch? Two Hands is a solid spot! It’s a cute Australian cafe with a good variety of aesthetic food and drink options. I came with a friend at Wednesday afternoon, and got seated right away! We both agreed that the breakfast burrito was phenomenal, and the hash brown with the scrambled eggs was the highlight of the meal. I also really enjoyed the banana espresso martini! Definitely come check this place out if you want a cute brunch with friends!

The experience was ok overall. The muffuletta sandwich was good but the breakfast burrito was just okay. The pancakes were dry. The service was slow and they forgot to bring the pancakes, which I had to remind them twice. They took my napkin twice and did not bring me a new one until I asked them.

Am not sure why this place is famous and requires a no show fee for reservations. The menu and food both are average, decor is decent. Our group of 5 went at 2 pm for brunch. The wait time for food was long. Mid way they mentioned the sourdough for chicken sandwich is not available. The matcha latte powder was sub par. Finally did get the sandwich with sourdough but the bread slice was too thick and filling was dry, so couldn’t really savor the flavors. A very much average spot overall. A typical Manhattan hype.

The banana bread and the mushroom soba noodle bowl are to die for (highly recommend adding salmon to the bowl). servers are so kind and it’s a beautiful space. the portions are a good size for the price. drinks are good, i got the banana bread espresso martini, but the banana smoothie was the stand out drink.

I got the banana bread latte and the banana bread french toast. The french toast was a good balance of sweetness and a little saltiness. The mascarpone was very creamy, and together with the bread had a nice texture. I did not enjoy the latte I ordered as much but I thought it was an interesting concept.

I had marked this place on my next trip to NYC since my daughter loves a good burger. We walked in without a reservation on late Saturday afternoon and as expected the place was packed. The staff was super attentive and friendly as they seated us in a quick manner. Also a big thank you for accommodating and acknowledging my daughter’s special needs. The burger absolutely lived up to the hype! Would love to stop by again.

Always great food. Excellent ingredients and delicious combos. Waited 10 minutes for a table since we didn’t have a reservation on a Sunday morning. They have a small waiting area and the staff was great while we waited. Once we ordered our food came out very quickly. This place is always a sure bet to please.

I’ve heard of this chain and have been wanting to try one, so when in Newark for work and learning that there was a Xi’an Famous Food location close to a Path train station, I made time to come check it out. I got there around 1PM and they were packed; in fact, they stayed very busy the entire time I was in there. I was worried about finding a place to sit to eat, but I will say that everyone in there was very respectful of their time – they ate fast and got out! And they were also very respectful of the signage that says there’s no one who manages and cleans the dining room, so clean up after yourself. The dining room was perfectly clean. I placed my order via one of their kiosks and waited about 15 mins for the food to be made. The kitchen is open, so you can see them all working back there, and they’re hustling! But the place is just that busy!! The food I tried was really good! The flavors were incredible!! The cucumber was probably the best I’ve had, mostly because of the incredible flavors of the chili oil, but the very fresh cucumber they smashed was excellent too. I tried the spicy & tingly beef muscle w/hand-ripped noodles and it was really tasty! The noodles were pretty good, but they were very long and could be tough to eat, without dipping your head in for each bite. The only issue I had was the amount of fat/connective tissue was thick and there wasn’t much beef to eat – so I ended up only eating a little of the actual beef. But I loved the sauce and noodles! If I go back, which I will, I’ll get the lamb done in a similar way. I felt the prices were decent for the amount of food and the great flavors. Definitely will return!

We saw one bad review and were close not to going. Boy, are we happy we blew it off. We’re basically foreigners and have not seen a western Chinese restaurant before - it was nice to be able to order on a screen and take our sweet time. The service was excellent, it’s super transparent too. We saw our food being made. We ordered a spicy pork dish and a cold noodle dish. Both, for lack of a better word, slapped. The noodles were different and interesting, nice spice to it. The sauces were seasoned well. Great spot. Thank you for having us 🙏🏼

Ordered a Liang Pi Cold Skin noodle with mild spice and a Spicy Cumin Lamb Hand-Ripped Noodles with least spicy and less oil. If you can handle your spice, definitely go for the regular spice levels.The liang pi is a refreshing plate even for spring with cold noodles, tofu, and greens that are calming and pleasant. The mild level spice is find though I would recommend ordering spicier. The Lamb noodles were delicious with thick cuts of lamb on top. It’s a bit hard to chew on the lamb but otherwise, it was a very pleasant noodle dish. The staff here are very efficient with preparing meals, ordering food is all done with digital kiosks.

The food was really good, intense flavors for noodles with meat And pork. But I couldn't finish mine because noodles were spicy and I like spicy but this was to much. The option I choose didn't say it was spicy at all, because they have options labeled as a hot. Dumplings not spicy and really really good, small place, few chairs but ok.

Located in a small alley but the restaurant is usually quite crowded which shows that the food is pretty good. Come in and self-order from the terminals and they’ll call your name and number when the food is ready. Service is decently fast and the lamb dishes are pretty good. Worth dropping by if you’re nearby.

This location is close to my place and I order takeout from time to time. I placed my order at the kiosk and waited less than 10 minutes for my food to be ready. I ordered the Spicy & Tingly Beef Muscle Hand-Ripped Noodles (extra spicy) and Spicy Asian Cucumber Salad. Both dishes were delicious, and surprisingly, the extra spicy for the noodles weren’t bad at all esp given I have a low tolerance for spice. Pets aren’t allowed but I was able to carry my pup in to order and grab my food.

Anyplace in NYC that hides the total cost in the register is a scam! $10 for one small hot dog and a 16oz drink. You can't see the total, They don't tell you the total they just ask you to tap. I had to also ask for my receipt... Apparently even if you take 2 dogs and drink deal for $10 it doesn't include saurkraut ...so it's like $12... yes it's $5 for one hotdog!!....they know their prices are high because they are ashamed to show you the total. You can only scam someone once. too many other better places like shake shack for same price.

Meh - skip it and head south for more eats and sweets. The mustard was the best part of our hot dogs. Even the sauerkraut lacking in flavor and the papaya drink was colored and sweetened water completely lacking papaya flavor. We couldn’t drink it. Servers surely. We did enjoy standing and eating at one of the four tables.

I haven’t been in years but I’m glad they are back. The new location is definitely cleaner, more efficient but also lost a bit of its charm from the old days. Thankfully the service is still great and the dogs are still yummy. The banana daiquiri is still my go to drink when visiting. I highly recommend!

This is my first time setting foot in the new location on the upper east side and I must say it didn't disappoint. Hot dogs 🌭 were fresh off the grill and buns were fluffy and hot with plenty of selections to put on top. The best part of eating some good hot dogs is nothing better than washing it down with a refreshing Mango or Papaya drink. Overall customer service was on point, line wait on average less than 5 mins per person and price wise your looking at between $10 and $20 average depending on what your on the mood for. So if your in the upper east side and want a quick bite that I know will hit the spot then stop off at Papaya King.

A little gem with lots of flavour! The papaya drink I had was so refreshing, and complimented the hot dogs so well. The prices were fair and I really enjoyed my classic hotdog and chili combo i tasted from my friend. There were no seats at the restaurant, but you could stand and eat at one of a handful of tall tables.

Super cheap and yummy dumpling. We visited this little late but there are still a lot of customers outside. The service was so fast we didn't even know our dumplings were done! We got 13 dumplings for $5. What a killer deal! Once person could definitely eat it all, but it was also plenty to share. Not quite sure what type of chili sauce was available to put on the dumplings but it was so good. The inside of the dumplings were a little dry for my liking, but overall the flavor was good.

But really, what can I complain about when it's $5 for 13 pieces? The auntie asked me to show her the viral TikTok that got them busy. And she actually speaks with a Tianjin accent. Considering that in Chinatown, most—like 99.9%—of restaurants are run by southerners, despite claiming to be northern. This is gold, I'll add one star 😭

I didn’t feel like going to a restaurant today but didn’t exactly want fast food either. So this was the perfect choice for the area I was in around lunchtime. I was pretty hungry since I skipped breakfast & decided to get two roast beef sandwiches with cheese an order of golden corn fritters & a strawberry lemonade. All of which were tasty & satisfying. The restaurant was fairly clean & an employee was in the process of cleaning during my visit. The wait for my meal after placing the order wasn’t very long. It looked like they had some birthday giveaway thing where you spun a wheel for a prize. If you go with a few friends & spend over $45 you get a free mini thin crust pizza. They also serve beer, wine & champagne believe it or not. I guess for those birthday celebrations. As well as few desserts. They’ve been in business for 55 years & are well known for their roast beef sandwiches & lemonade.

This place is like you stepped back in time! It brings you back to a more simple time! Love the roast beef sandwich, with the brown gravy to dip in. The potato chip fries are on the money. The onion rings are delicious and crunchy. Enjoyed the crispy cracker crust pizza. And washed it down with the tasty beverage, orangeade! I hope this place is around forever!

Clean place inside from the dining room to the restroom. Orders are called out loud and clear on a P.A., 100% prepared quickly and are both hot and definitely fresh when received. Right on Emmons Ave with their own parking lot. N.Y. strip steak with the cheez on their rolls they make fresh, wow. Gonna come back for sure and try the roast beef next time.

Classic Brooklyn joint serving one of the best roast beef sandwiches in town! But I would have to say the western burger also packs a solid punch. You can’t go wrong with any of the items here honestly. But our go to’s are always the roast beef sandwich, western beef burger, crown fritters, chicken wings, and orangeade drink! You also have the option to put cheese on anything! If you have a young one, ask one of the cashiers for a free ballon. If happens to be your birthday, you get to spin the giant wheel for a chance to win $5-$20 prize for next time use. Also, if you spend more than $45 per order, you can get a free pizza. The inside dining area seems like it’s still stuck in the 1990s, but I’m fine with that!

Urban Israeli Take Out Quick and easy shawarma or pita on the go. It's rapid, it's urban. That's pretty much it. Pita breads are soft and delicious. Eggplants pita is decent. Falafel pita is fresh. Hand cut fries are good but they add way too much salt. Store is on a small size with limited seating. Great corner location with high visibility and foot traffic.

I walked by Taim and decided to try the eggplant salad — it was the best experience ever! The cashiers were very helpful and super friendly, and it was great to see them make my plate right in front of me. The toppings were absolutely delicious. 💯 I’ll definitely be recommending this place to everyone!

Tasty food for a Mediterranean cuisine, the Greek salad was very fresh and the falafels were delicious. Great spot for a quick lunch, with fast service the staff were very nice and friendly. Shoutout to Scottie and Vilma and the whole Nolita team they are the best! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Needed something healthy after a flight to NYC and was recommended Taim. Their bowls are generously sized and packed with goodness. I loved the eggplant, but the falafel was a disappointment—it was overly fried and coated in oil. The ginger lime drink tasted more like sugar than anything else. On the bright side, the portions were decent, the hummus was tasty, and everything else I tried, including the baklava, was very good. Not sure if I’d order from here again, especially with options like Sweetgreen nearby, but I’m open to giving it another chance.

Have visited this particular location twice now and have also gone to their UWS location. I particularly enjoyed the wontons in chili oil. The best dish on their menu. The Dan Dan noodles were also great but needed spice so we added chili oil to them. The crab rangoons were unfortunately too sweet for me. I’ll definitely go back and try other options next time!

MAJOR FOOD SAFETY ISSUES Before sharing what I experienced this morning, it’s important to note that Han Dynasty has had a health code grade pending for quite some time (the Rating Pending sign is visible in their window, as per the law) and that alone should make anyone want to stay away. This morning, I observed their staff unloading vegetables in filthy crates from a filthy van. The handtruck got caught on the curb and spilled the vegetables all over the sidewalk and into the dirt out front. This is the exact location where many of us walk our dogs. The staff proceeded to quickly package the food back up into the crates and wheel it into the restaurant. I went up to them and said, “I saw what just happened - you cannot possibly serve this to your customers.” They replied by saying, “WE WASH!” and then proceeded to ignore me while they moved the crates into their filty basement. Aside from this episode, the crates themselves have holes all around them and should not be stored in an underground cellar where rats and roaches are known to live. I reported this as a health code violation.

The dry pot with fish ($25.95) and Mapo tofu ($16.95) were excellent with the right amount of spiciness. Generous amount of food. Orders came with free white rice and hot tea. Services were really good and we didn’t have to wait too long for the food to come out.

A friend took me here and he claimed this place had the best food in town. He's been frequenting this place for over a decade now. Trust me, I vouch for what he says. The food was amazing and the drinks matched up!

After I saw Zimmerman and Estelle Choi from Heat eaters I thought this would be really good. Well it was ok, nothing more then that. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. Normala appetizers comes first be we got one entree first and then all of the rest at same time. It is ok, its Chinese food and we like to share anyway. We had wonton and dumplings, and those dumplings was really good. Wonton was ok. The salt and peppar shrimps was really good to. But the Dan Dan noodles was really a disapointment. If I lived here then I could go back, but not worth a trip over it.

It was my first time at Han Dynasty, someone on Reddit recommended the Dan Dan Noodles from this specific location, so I made the trip from Queens just to try them. Totally worth it, they were incredible. 10/10! Both my server and the host (his name was Jose) were extremely sweet. Honestly, some of the best customer service I’ve had in a long time. Thanks for the awesome experience, I’ll definitely be back!

Chicken tacos were dry, no flavor, no sauce. The tortilla was decent. The drinks were extremely sweet and barely any alcohol. The service was lacking. The only good thing was the French fries and the watermelon juice. To get to the bathroom you have to walk downstairs and it smells god awful down there. I was very turned off. Won’t be returning.

One of my favorite Mexican places in the city and the service is quick too! Been here a couple of times, the guacamole and chips or corn esquites are great starters and the taquitos always hit. Carne Asada, Al Pastor, and Mahi Mahi are my favs. The frozen margs are great and they have all types of flavors. The manager Daniela was very attentive and made sure everything was good. Appreciate the service here.

They made my day! I wanted to go to some other place, but unfortunately, that was close, and I decided to give this place a try. To my surprise, I got the best tacos. Don't hesitate to ask for extra sauces, and if you are a spice lover like me, ask for the spicy sauce too. Got the platter, was good for 4. Got shrimp and chicken tacos. Both were great. The fries and guac was good too. Also got the chicken enchiladas, great taste and quantity again for the price. It is a comparatively cheap place with good food. The only complaint is the plates and bowls are recyclable but they still serve plastic spoons and forks. Not sure why the waste.

We had a lovely time here for lunch. Really great fusion of Mexican and other cuisines. I had the panko eggplant torta and a coffee sweetened with sugarcane. The service was efficient, and there was a decent range to choose from on the menu. Looking forward to another visit when we come back!

Tortaria is a nice Mexican establishment in University Place. We stopped by for brunch on a Saturday and had a great time. The menu has a lot of interesting options, and we tried the eggplant bowl, the brunch burrito (as a bowl) and the chipotle lime veggie bowl, along with ginger tea and lemonade. Everything was great - the eggplant bowl was novel and tasty, the brunch burrito was delicious, and the chipotle lime veggie bowl was quite good as well. The ginger tea was well brewed (with a sharp sour tang) and the lemonade was refreshing and quite sweet. Overall, we enjoyed our visit to Tortartia. The dishes are tasty and reasonably priced (compared to NYC standards). Worth a visit!

The service was absolutely amazing and quick. I had to wait on my party to arrive and they sat me solo without any issue. Emmanuel was attentive and made sure everything was good! I got the fajitas for brunch with the blood orange margarita and both were filling and delicious. Super budget friendly, staff friendly, food allergy friendly — absolutely would recommend !

A decent spot for a quick grab and go. I ordered the classic banh mi. The pickled veggies and cucumber were very fresh. I could still not taste butter and pate on the bread. but overall a decent place for a quick meal. No chairs. But they have table like structure against the wall for whoever wants to stand up and enjoy their meal.

If you like banh mi, this is an excellent spot. My only gripe is that they give you a small portion of meat compared to veggies. I’d say it’s 80-20 veggies to meat. The chicken banh mi is really delicious as they use dark meat and the marinade is nice. The fresh vegetables are also really tasty with a great crunch. The bread is super crispy. Make sure to add sriracha at the standing tables as these need a little sauce.

I was craving a banh mi and decided to give this spot a try. There was a bit of a line, which makes me think it’s a popular choice. I ordered the spicy BBQ pork banh mi and it was flavorful and satisfying. The only downside is that it was a little heavy on the veggies and light on the meat. I also didn’t find it spicy at all, despite the name. Overall, still a solid banh mi and worth trying.

Yum yum yum! whenever I'm in New York City I by Bond me Saigon and get the number 13 Vietnamese special cold cut sandwich which is delicious. Often I order one "for today" and a couple "for tomorrow" so that I have a couple to take home.

$9.50 for a grill chicken banh mi, taste good and the portion is enough for 2 people sharing.

The beef sandwich turned out to be a sandwich with beef fat. No joke — about 70 percent of what they call “beef” is just fat, as you can see in the photo. And that’s only from half of the sandwich.

The sandwiches friggin slap. Great cheap lunch, take out unless you want to eat at the counter (like a pizza shop). I recommend this spot to everyone I know.

From the outside you would not imagine how cute and comfy it is inside! The vegetarian burger was delicious and filled us properly. The waiters were really nice and offered us a taste of ice cream when we told them we were from Italy! Highly recommended!!

I’ve been meaning to try this place and really wanted to like it because a vegetarian burger joint is what this world needs more of. The Superiority seemed like the right place to start. It was OK, but it did not live up to its name. It was surprisingly small and the toppings were also minimally doled out. For $22 (including fries that were average) I really expected a hearty and tasty veggie burger (like what 5 Napkin offers). Overall, it was a lot of money for something that was not substantial and unremarkable. But people clearly like this place on a Monday evening, it was about 75% full. Maybe I would’ve done better trying something else on the menu, like the tofu sandwich.

Vegan restaurant by Tompkins park. The halumi and pumpkin starter was amazing. I had the Yube sandwich, wouldn’t recommend. Their house burger was definitely a better choice. Good if you’re looking for a vegan or vegetarian option. On the expensive side, and there’s definitely better places in the area. I’d go back but only for the burger.

We went early on a Sunday and there was no wait at all. I loved the vibe and the old photos on the wall...in particular, a photo of Dojo on St Marks which brought back a lot of memories... Service was laid-back, friendly and quick. On to the food...three in my party got the Superiority Burger with fries in three different ways. It was all spot-on and after tasting it, it is a strong vegetarian burger. But forget that and go for the TFT - a fried tofu sandwich which was simply outstanding. The fries are some of the absolute best I've had in NYC. We also had a side of burnt broccoli which was ok, but nothing too special. Go for the TFT, fries and the vibe.

This would be a 5/5 for me however the service needs improvement. The chefs and ladies are superb, but for some reason the waiters never seem to check on you. We got seated in the back and the guy didn’t check on us until I motioned him to come over. Food is good but be prepared to spend half $100 bucks for 2 burgers. Either way, food is great for a vegan place.

Food was five stars excellent, but service was horrible and atmosphere way too loud. It and put a damper on the whole evening. It’s such a shame because if it weren’t for the poor service, this would’ve been a 5 star review. The waiter disappeared and we waited 30min after we’d finished eating to get our plates cleared, eventually the hostess had to do it as our waiter was still MIA… I thought he had actually left and ended his shift, though even while he was there he never checked on us once. Then I asked for the ice cream to go, he said absolutely and failed to mention there were no to go cups!!! Left us to fend for ourselves with the giant overflowing scoops, didn’t even bring a second cup we had to ask someone else. It was a total disaster and our ice cream melted all over the uber and my clothes. If he had simply informed us there were no to go cups we would not have ordered but instead he brought this ice cream with the bill so it was too late to correct. The atmosphere was much too loud… every table was screaming both to be heard over the blasting music and also each other. I actually put in my loop earplugs. The food though was truly excellent, exceeded my already high expectations. We tried the pumpkin with halloumi which I’m still dreaming about. Looked unassuming but was bursting with strong flavor, chili, maybe even lemongrass, halloumi was perfectly cooked without getting rubbery and not too salty either. The rancho gordo marcella beans (which I’ve also bought and cooked) were also extremely flavorful, though this dish was a little spicy for me. The collard greens sandwich was great, very cheesy almost American cheese vibes but in a good way more flavorful. The focaccia didn’t disappoint. The tofu fried burger was perfectly cooked and very crunchy with strong flavor of sesame. Again though, this was a bit too spicy for my liking. The date shake was a huge disappointment. I had heard so much about it but it was just way too sweet for me and the overpowering flavor was orange zest, which felt kind of out of place. It was also too liquify for my liking, I would’ve preferred a thicker shake with less milk. The corn gelato however was spectacular… so rich and almost sticky creamy. Deep corn flavor that was so intense and went perfectly with the sweet ice cream. I don’t know how they crammed so much corn flavor in without making it icy but it was really something special. Overall the food was much better than I was expecting and I had high expectations - it was just a lot less bland than typical American fare, each dish was bursting with unique flavors and textures. I also appreciated they had plenty of non alcoholic drinks, and I enjoyed my sugar free cranberry juice & seltzer - truly no sweetness, no sweetener either but very refreshing. I may brace the service and environment again for the food, or opt for takeout next time.

Decent burger, but nothing standout ish, just tasted like a regular bean burger. Fries were delicious, love the thick potato cut. I enjoyed the tofu burger as well, the slaw was a great addition to it. However, the price point makes this not worth it as I was expecting better. For a basically $50 check, we got 2 burgers and 1 side of fries. NYC i guess… Service was also not good, maybe it’s because we were in the back on a friday but the waiter took our order, never came back, we had to ask the waiter at the table next to us after he took their order for the check,and then our waiter came back to give us the check.

Tried venezuelan food for the first time, it's amazing 👏. Great for dates or catching up with friends. They also have a really cool patio set in the back.

Came for the famous Arepas but also tried the squash and beet soup, house salad and guacamole. Everything was spectacular and I loved the Yuca and banana chips. Tasty combos leave you very satisfied.

Well I've never tried Venezuelan food before so we went to this Venezuelan restaurant in Brooklyn for Arepas. We started off with croquetas and tequeños (deep fried queso blanco sticks wrapped in a wheat flour dough) before moving on to the Arepas. My wife had the De Pabellón (shredded beef, black beans, cotija cheese & deep fried plantains) whilst I had La del Gato (guayanés cheese, fried sweet plantains, avocado & Chicken). We shared a side salad. For dessert I had a coconut tres leche cake whilst she had the chocolate mousse. We loved everything we tried. I Highly recommend this if you're in the area.

Really, really, really good. Just as good as the one Manhattan. Service great and the atmosphere is much more open than Manhattan . I recommend the playa deluxe arepa. Definitely top on my list. The chorizo is great too. Definitely try the guacamole! Out if this world! You will not be disappointed. This will be a place you go to over and over again. I highly recommend!!

Great food, service and outside garden. Arepas are the main dish with classic sides and daily specials. Very clean and safe setup. A perfect spot to brunch and linger with friends and enjoy an iced hibiscus tea and lemonade

Simple drinks... great atmosphere to chit chat and have a cool calm mellow night with friends. Food is great but they serve small portion. Arcepas is the theme and most popular dish of the restaurant. Drinks variety is not big but good and different.

Great experience as usual, came with my wife and 3 year old. The place is cozy but long and has an outdoor space. As we came in they asked us if we wanted a high chair, we said yes. Food is great, atmosphere is good! Arepas are a no brainer! Ordered tostones with cheese and cilantro mayo, then those delicious yoyos that'll make you feel like is brunch again!

Very good food, cute atmosphere. I am taking off a point to make aware of a dinner combo that makes no sense. $30 for Trappizini and 1/2 Pasta. The combo does not make it clear that it is a 1/2 Pasta. Ordering a Trappizini and full pasta would also be about $30 or less in some cases and you would get more food. Very bizarre decision by management. Our server was very lovely and comped our bill partially to make up for the confusion. So if you come here, don't order the combo, just order the items separately. I got the Pesto pasta and Oxtail Trappizini along with broccolini to start (very good).

I used to love Trapizzino when I lived in Italy, and I was so excited to stumble upon it here in New York! One bite instantly brought me back to Rome, the trapizzino was absolutely delicious. The service was just as great: Gabriele was so kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. My friend and I had such a wonderful time, and we’ll definitely be back!

What a delicious meal! We started off with the arinchini which was flavorful and tasty! We then continued with the Trapizzino which was again delicious and had great texture. The cacio e Pepe was also really well done: a creamy bucatini. Highly recommend! Just note the atmosphere isn’t the best.

We celebrated our birthday here with a group of 16, and it was perfect from start to finish! 🎉 Giuseppe was amazing — he helped us schedule a table last minute and was so kind and accommodating the entire time. Truly above and beyond service. The food was phenomenal — we did the Roman Feast and everything was incredible. The risotto balls and the ragu pasta were especially delicious, and there was more than enough food for everyone. Honestly, we couldn’t even move afterwards because we were so full (in the best way)! The staff was super kind, the atmosphere was great, and it was the perfect spot before heading out to the clubs. If you’re looking for a place to host a big group for a birthday or celebration, this is absolutely the spot. 💯 We’ll definitely be back!

Started with risotto ball, it was average. Continued with ox tail sandwich, it was very flavorful. Pasta wasn’t on lunch menu, but chef obliged. Pesto was great! Ended with Espresso Martini.

The restaurant as a whole was lovely and prices were fair and cheap! The service was quick and the servers were very kind. When a mistake was made, which we didn’t mind at all, they were so quick to help and compensate by giving us a free desert. Only doc off points for the atmosphere because at night my friends and I encountered someone not too fun from the street while sitting outside. Otherwise such a lovely restaurant and experience! Will be going back %100!! Also I definitely recommend the “doppia panna” (baratta and anchovy trapizzini) as well as the “coda alla vaccinara” (the oxtail trapizzini)!!

I paid $8 total for both the dumplings and the peanut noodles. I waited no more than 5 minutes to get my order — the service is very efficient. The noodles are definitely worth it, and the portion is filling. The dumplings are delicious, and so is their sauce. There’s no table service and the restaurant is crowded, but once you taste the food, you understand why. I’ll definitely be back!

I don’t know where else you can find $5 dumplings plate that tasted good and served on the spot ! The chives and shrimp ones are yummy. We ordered 3 different types. The fried ones tasted the best. The chicken ones are so so. All good value. It was a mistake trying the beef tribe noodles - couldn’t eat it. The minced beef in the noodles soup also not to my liking. I’m a big fan of fish balls but fuzhou fishball has a gluey texture that I do not like. I also don’t care for the filling or flavor. The lines are long (between 6-8pm). It’s like the happening place for pre party and college kids, tourists etc it’s cheap. Portions are surprisingly decent. Cash only. ATM machine right there if you need cash.

This definitely is a go-to for the quintessential Chinese dumpling in Chinatown. Lots of food for $5.00-$6.00, fresh, the original fast food! We ordered noodles in peanut sauce, won ton soup, and of course , dumplings, each order with a healthy supply of dumplings: 🥟pork chive dumplings (fried), vegetable dumplings (steamed) and shrimp, chive and egg (steamed) dumplings. Altogether with tax -$32.00! This isn’t your gourmet, fancy dumpling place - this is your nice portions size of decent dumplings on a budget place. The won ton soup and peanut butter noodles were okay too and as much as we enjoyed the shrimp, chive and egg dumplings - we deconstructed to confirm - no shrimps were actually used in the dumplings - so, truthfully, the chive and egg dumplings were delicious! 😋

Very good price/quality ratio! I tried the pork dumplings, which were really juicy and they came with this delicious sauce. The service is also really quick. I think the food was done like 2 minutes after I ordered or sum. It isn´t the coziest place where you sit down and enjoy your food, but it´s fine for a quick bite.

I came here on a Tuesday night, just stumbling into it, and it was hard to find a seat, that’s how I knew it was going to be good. I ate the wheat noodles with peanut butter sauce and tried some of my friend’s steamed vegetable dumplings. Both exceeded my expectations. The food looks delicious because it is. I spent a total of $4.50 on the noodles and a bottle of water. This place is cash only so come prepared. Great and quick counter service. The atmosphere is not very cozy or inviting but when the food is as good and affordable as it is here it doesn’t matter. Counting down the days I’ll get to go again. Highly recommend in general and for a quick and tasty meal.

I was recommended to stop by to experience some authentic Chinatown experience. It’s amazing how they can maintain the price. Obviously, this restaurant isn’t going to offer cream of crop Chinese cuisine experience. However, I was impressed by the quality of the food given the price. To be clear, the quality of the food is going to resemble that of a food truck. But there’s no other place that beats their price.

bit hesitant to try given it was a local chain however, it lives up to the name. had the pork roll which is a bacon, egg and cheese and the bacon is essentially crispy and the roll was basic brioche bun but overall had good structure and doesn't disappoint for 12 bucks. it was okay but The vibes are nice in there and sandwiches. good

Consistently good sandwich spot, great for breakfast or lunch. I have the turkey delight every time. It’s turkey and Swiss with coleslaw and comeback sauce. I love a turkey sandwich and this one is delicious. Good quality turkey and love the addition of coleslaw instead of just dry greens because it’s very flavorful and saucey. It is on the more indulgent side but very good. I add mustard for some tangy relief from the rich sauce. The only downfall is the price. For two sandwiches we paid over $40. It’s conveniently located in a great neighborhood.

$40 after 2 sandwiches, a soda and a drink. Use to love this place but it’s no longer affordable. Back to the bodega for a Sammy it is!

I’ve been a regular for the past 5 years, but unfortunately my latest sandwich will be my last. The staff are friendly and the bread is fresh. But there has been a notable decrease in the amount of meat and ingredients included in each of the several sandwiches I order. Sometimes it is passable, but multiple recent orders have been bare.

The Droopy sandwich was very good but I knew when I picked up the bag and it weighed 2 ounces, I was gonna be disappointed. For $18, I was expecting a hefty sandwich that I could eat in two sittings but this thing was gone in 5 minutes. The sandwiches are very good with great ingredients but extremely light for a hero.

We went in the middle of the week at lunch time, so it was no busy at all we were very lucky(every time we walk by it is very busy). First time being here and I was very impressed with all the options of bake goods, products and the extensive menu. I order the cubano sandwich and it was good all the flavors where there but for me it was a little salty and it had to much sauce, so it is very messy to eat be aware of that. I think I’ll go back to try other things from the menu. They have outdoor and indoor seating (big space). All the staff was very friendly!

People rave about CSG, but after eating it consistently for 5 years, I’d say it’s really gone downhill. Their menu has gotten smaller, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing- if they were doing the sandwiches they had really well. But everything is pretty basic, with an exorbitant amount of mayo, or whatever sauce is on the sandwich. You have to eat the sandwich immediately or the bread disintegrates in the moisture. After my previous sandwich Idt I’ll be ordering from CSG again.

Arepa Lady in New York is a small but very pleasant and well-organized place. The service was excellent. I was attended by Carol, who truly provided extraordinary service, always checking on my table and giving great recommendations. The other person working with her was also very attentive, coming by several times to ask how everything was and if I enjoyed the food. There was even a large table of about 24 or 25 people, and despite that, the food came out very quickly, which shows great teamwork. The choclo arepa with cheese had a very good flavor and a generous amount of cheese for its size, although I do think it’s a bit overpriced for being just an arepa with cheese. I also tried the choclo arepa with cheese and grilled steak, which was excellent, with the meat full of flavor. Overall, a highly recommended place to enjoy delicious arepas.

Lucho was super sweet and very attentive. He was kind enough to help us get connected to the wifi to get some work done, while we juggled the kids. I had the arepa with grilled chicken, the mozzarella sticks, and the straight cheese one. Even took some home for dinner which heated up easily. The bathroom decor is so cute and original. Highly recommend coming here.

All arepas were amazing! - crispy, fluffy and warm. We got Arepa de chocolo and Arepa Rellena. I like their chorizo, baconand sweet plantains- perfectly seasoning. Also, they also have condensed milk and sauces on the table for you. The atmosphere was cute, nice and cozy. They also big screen on the wall the watch the sports.

A really beautiful place to have Colombian cuisine, the cheese arepas were on the sweeter side rather than savory but had incredible flavor. Service was also quick and provided recommendations on parking and things to do in the area. Overall recommended place for visits and a quick meal.

I came in because I was craving an arepa de choclo (sweet corn patty) with cheese. Ended up having a Patacón with Pollo desmechado. This is shredded chicken with avocado 🥑 served on top of a green plantain which is smashed and deep-fried. This particular dish was executed to perfection & absolutely blew me away! The chicken was juicy & very flavorful and the green plantain was crunchy which made it absolutely delightful and satisfying! I ended up ordering the arepa anyway, just to try it & took left overs home since it is quite large. To my surprise it was thin & presented as a crepe stuffed with cheese, instead of the traditional Colombian arepa de choclo, which is so much thicker sweet corn patty with cheese on top. Even though it was different, I thoroughly enjoyed it! I’m Colombian & have high standards. The service was excellent & will definitely be coming back to this place!

If you never had a Colombian arepa, you are missing out! No place does it better than Arepa Lady. I have tried various arepas and empanadas there, but the arepa de chocolo con chorizo is my favorite. They give you a variety of sauces too, which are all delicious. The restaurant is impeccably clean, the staff is friendly, plus it looks like a perfect place to also get drinks and watch the World Cup next year. They have a massive big screen tv! I love this place!

A great place to visit if you want an arepa! The food is so filling and the sauces are amazing. We previously went to their location in the Dekalb Food Hall, which has since closed so we had to visit the original. Our visit did not disappoint and I look forward to going back.

I visited on a Sunday night and it was empty! You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. You clean your table/tray when you are finished. I got the Nasi Lemak and it was really tasty, but the portions are pretty small. Prices are fine for the size of the dish, but I wouldn’t go here if I was super hungry. I really enjoyed the flavors in this dish- Malaysian food is new to me and this was a good introduction to the cuisine.

The nice thing about this spot is they offer up a lot of traditional Malaysian dishes and the menu has a pretty decent selection. Food wise, it’s decent. There aren’t any frills but will say their toast was good. We couldn’t get the Hainese chicken since they sold out. Drinks aren’t bad either. It’s quite an informal spot, you order up front and grab seating after. They do bring the food to you but it’s not your typical waiter service. Maybe because of the more casual nature and the crowd, the place doesn’t feel very cleanly. It can get kind of loud as well if there are larger groups. Some people do take up seating after they’re finished with their meal, so if you’re looking for a sit down spot, it’s just easier with a smaller group.

We were excited to visit because my Malaysian boyfriend wanted a bit of home. It was definitely bumping when we went for lunch on the weekend, but were lucky enough to grab a table. We were most excited for the kaya toast, and it was pretty good! The food was alright and a bit underwhelming, but the vibes were great.

I'm picky about my Malaysia food, having grown up with the good stuff. Kopitiam always seemed to garner mixed reviews at best, so I kind of avoided the spot until recently, when a friend wanted to meet her new long distance beau and he picked Kopitiam to be judged, juried and (potentially) executed. I wish I could say we had a merry time, but it was a weird night. Mostly because HE was weird.....and brand new to Malaysian food, which made it just so much more painful for me (I hate playing tour guide/translator when I haven't offered to do so). But I digress. You didn't come here for my tea. You came for tea on Kopitiam. The good: - Kaya Butter Toast: Properly thick and large, with tons of delicious kaya - Nasi Lemak: Of course I've had better in the motherland, but for NYC, this hit all the right notes of coconut rice, plenty of ikan bilis, and tasty a sambal - Pan Mee with soup: Could've used more noodles, but the friedn anchovies were popping, and the broth was umami-tastic - Sambal Sauteed Water Spinach: What can I say, Asians just do veggies better. Get this when you need to see some green on your plate - Ondeh Ondeh: Hard to find and definitely worth the effort, so make sure to come early to hedge your bets. Then enjoy that sweet, sweet mochi-like texture with glorious palm sugar filling - Honeycomb Cake: Moist and decadent without being too sweet - Penang-Style Hand-Rolled Muah Chee: Made to order, but worth it if you've never experienced the glory of warm ground peanuts and sesame seeds served in chewy pieces. Mmmm, my childhood.... The Okay: - Otak Otak: Spicy grilled fish "quiche", but not quite aromatic enough and a bit dry - Malaysian Style Half Boiled Eggs: I like mine saltier - Oh Chien: Not bad, but needed way more oyster - Pandan Chicken: No pandan flavor + oversalted chicken + dry meat = I regret choosing this as a last-minute add-on All in all, I liked Kopitiam more than I expected. Can't wait to go back without having to entertain a insular white guy who can't use chopsticks just because he's boinking my friend.

This reminds me of a fast food restaurant. Order at the register. You had to order off a Q code, they didn’t have any menus. Seats are first come first serve so if you see a seat throw your jacket, bag or umbrella there to hold the seat. After you order the give you a number and someone brings you the foods. I found the food a little different from the Malaysian I’m use to and it left a little after taste in my mouth afterwards. You can get water if you ask them and take out containers if you have left over. And clean your space for the next person. Take your trash to the assigned area. I did 4 star instead of 3 because even though I found the food only ok, the Staff was nice but mainly because I wasn’t use to the type of restaurant it was an that’s more on me.

Small but cute cafe with a large variety of Malaysian dishes and desserts. Highly recommend the blue rice balls and the national dish. The pandan dessert has an interesting yet addicting taste (the coconut layer on top is salty!). The Milo French toast is very good but very sweet; you get a lot though. This has become my go-to cafe in the lower east side!

We're from Malaysia and wanted to try this place. Apparently the owner is from Penang, Nyoya descent. We'd a chat. Great guy. Food is okay and the pork jerky bun is good. Char key teow is not up to mark though. But at least I get to have a sip of our famous Kopi-O 😇 The place is a little mess with stock cartons stacking in the shop.

Amazing service and amazing Tacos. I had cecina, carnitas and shrimp and it all tasted great. Another amazing thing is the price, great price for great food and service.

This spot really surprised me! I thought it came across a bit divey, a bit dark. I had a really great drink of their cocktail menu, switched to a margarita that I didn't like as much, and ordered tacos. The bartender explained the top three on the menu (chicken, fish, and something else) were the crowd-friendly ones and the really fun ones were at the bottom of the list. I went safe and it was fine, but his words echoed in my mind. You only live once so I ordered the beef tongue and the beef head or whatever it's called. The tongue was good, I would eat it again, but the beef head was *incredible*, so spicy, so good! A must-eat-again taco

The prices here are so damn good! Get yourself some tacos and a marg for under $20. Also the house chips and salsa is a great addition.

Sorry, but not sorry. I came here because many reviews said you could watch the Lakers games, and the place is full of Lakers and Dodgers decorations, so it looked like the perfect spot. I ordered a beer and asked if they were showing the game. They said yes and told me they would put it on. In the end, they didn’t have the channels to broadcast it. So if you’re coming here hoping to watch the Lakers, this is not the place. Nothing against the staff, but I came here specifically for the game and ended up missing it. Really disappointing.

Cozy atmosphere. Adam was our bartender, attentive, thorough and kind. We ordered two rounds of watermelon and pineapple margaritas. Both created to perfection! We had ground beef nachos, it seemed to be an original recipe- delicious! Ate them before I remembered to photograph. The lamb and fish tacos were enjoyable, but not my favorite. I will absolutely return to experience more of the menu. Excellent experience!

Best sit down Mexican restaurant I've been to in Manhattan! Love their tortas as they are full of flavor and quite large. Their chips and guacamole are full of flavor and their salsa is amazing as well. I honestly think their tacos are better than los tacos but it is pretty close. Would definitely give this place a try if you are in the area!

We came with a group of 13 and they were able to accommodate us very nicely. Overall everyone enjoyed the food. The portions were just enough. Chips and salsa were brought to the table and the salsa was great. I had the Cheese Enchilada Verde, Rice and Beans and Torta Milenesa. They all had good flavor. They do charge extra if you use a credit card.

We decided to try Scarr’s based on its high Google rating and reputation as a cult favorite for NY-style slices. We each got a slice of pepperoni pizza. While the dough was decent and toppings were fine, the slice had dried out a bit during reheating—an unfortunate detail that can really affect pizza texture. The price also felt a bit high considering the overall experience. Not terrible, but not the slice of dreams either. In a city filled with outstanding pizza, this one lands squarely in the middle.

This pizza was pretty excellent, and the classic embodiment of what you think of as a 'New York slice' I got the beef pepperoni as my NY-style slice, and the mushroom as the Sicilian-style slice here They were both very good, but I'll start with the NY slice first What was the most noticeable here was how good the crust was. It was very cracker-like, maybe the most cooked undercarriage I've seen on pizza, without being burnt. It perfectly exemplifies the term "well-charred". I thought I preferred softer crusts to harder ones, but after having had this slice, it's definitely the opposite for me - once I realized how good a crust like this could be. Aside from the crust, the rest of this slice was also fantastic. The blend of cheese and sauce on the top tastes great, especially those bits where you see the browned cheese on top. The pepperoni was also super consistent; basically every piece was able to curl up into a cup on top The Sicilian style pizza was also nice. The dough was way more airy and softer here, but it worked as a different type of pizza. The part that I liked slightly less was that it was a bit sloppy as not all the toppings stayed on throughout, and I preferred the level of cook in the other slice, but the softer taste was a nice change of pace. For the price, each slice cost me around $5, which is not *super* cheap, but when you consider that these are a) meat/special slices and b) quite large, I will take that deal Overall, if people ask me where to find a great New York-style slice, this will be the first place I point to. 9/10

Scarr’s is a solid spot for a legit NY pizza experience! The back seating area makes it feel like a proper sit-down meal, and the bar’s a chill vibe—perfect for sipping a 🍺 beer and grabbing a slice. The classic NY cheese slice was good, but the Sicilian square stole the show with its crispy, flavorful crust. The Hot Boi brought some 🔥 spice with hot honey that hit just right, and the pepperoni had those perfect crispy, cupped edges. The sauce is savory, not too heavy, and the dough’s crisp, though I’d love a touch more salt. Service was fast, and the bartender was super friendly. Plenty of seating and clean restrooms make it stand out. It’s not my top NYC slice, but I’d swing by again for the vibe and that Sicilian! 🍕

I came for a quick bite for lunch. I sat at the bar and ordered a slice of the mushroom pizza. I enjoyed the thicker crust and flavor of the sauce. The pizza shop is quaint and has a good atmosphere. The service is always quick and they are nice. I would recommend stopping there for a slice of pizza. Also, the prices are reasonable.

I had Scarr’s Hotboi pizza, featuring beef pepperoni, jalapeño, and hot honey, which was truly an experience! The right thing mount of spice and the right amount of sweetness from the honey. The dough was thin and crusty. Loved it! (It’s also Yungblud’s favorite Pizza spot in NYC!)

Got a Margherita slice and a plain. Chill dude at the counter. Got music on, he was just vibing. There’s inside seating but I got mine to go. The Margherita slice had flavor. Was good yet my only complaint is how floppy the pizza was. Couldn’t really eat it like a normal pizza slice. Could make the dough more crispy. $12 for 2 slices

Had the Hot Boy Special - Jalapeño, Pepperoni, and Hot Honey. Awesome pizza, Hot, cooked just enough, and the combination of toppings was excellent - plenty of heat, but nothing overpowering. Also, had a perfect Negroni, and there house wines are pretty good. Only drawback (for me) was that there was loud Rap playing throughout the Dining Area and conversation was difficult.

~Basic Fast Food Falafel~ Falafel platter is freshly prepared and tastes decent. Generous portions. Comes with side pita bread. Good for to go on the run. There are adequate sitting area inside and outdoor.

I got the falafel plate with rice and salad, and the falafels were great, the rice is fragrant, and the salad is crunchy and fresh. I thought it was a great value and it was delicious. Few tables inside to sit and dine.

Sweet staff, quickly made order, really tasty! Got a huge meal (falafel plate) with drink & dessert for $20 plus tip.

Really enjoyed eating here the other day. The Falafel sandwich and seasoned fried were super good and just what I needed on my work break. The service was awesome and the employee with the two braids was super energetic and took lots of time to help me figure out what to get . The location is very convenient for me and I will be coming back!

Just got a side of falafel but they were good. The mint lemonade is refreshing and not overally minty. Good amount of indoor and outdoor seating.

Food here is always reliable and filling. I like the option of self checkout kiosks, food always comes out quick. The people who work here are always chill and you most likely will not have trouble finding a place to sit. The environment is quiet and perfect for solo and group dining. The falafel bowl is my favorite and they have really good fries too.

This bar, without a doubt, has one of the most interesting gimmicks we’ve ever seen, but we’ll get into that in a minute. Alligator Lounge is a popular bar located in Williamsburg that gives off a strong college/recent grad energy. It is very packed and seating is at a premium. Beware navigating this bar can be tricky as a lot of people clog up the walkways so grip your drinks extra hard. They have skee ball and pool and the interior is decorated nicely, one of the better looking bars we’ve seen on our trip. They have a great selection of drinks and specials so it’s easy to find something that you and others will want to drink. And their gimmick? If you buy a drink you get a free personal pizza, we kid you not. You get a voucher when purchasing a drink and take that to the guys in the back and they make it there for you. You can pay a dollar extra and add on toppings but that’s a Costco-esque deal right there. To keep it short, this place reeks of fun and it’s easy to see why it was a go to spot for what felt like the entire neighborhood on that night out.

Great atmosphere with a dive bar vibe. Obviously, the free pizza tickets are a great plus. Their drinks are very well priced and they run beer and shot combos which is always a great treat. There is karaoke in the bar as well!

This place was super cool to find. The bartender was suoer cool and to mention the drink come with a free personal cheese pizza made to order with additional toppings charged additional. Spacious in and cozy front out door area.

I was recommended this place from a stranger. Came straight here after a super long shift. Just wanted some food and a good drink. My bartender was so nice my drink was good. I'm waiting for pizza and the person making it sees me standing there and doesn't say anything so i'm thinking in line. after waiting 10 minutes he decided to let me know i have to wait on line and where i was standing wasn't the line. i basically finished my drink at that point and i didn't even want the food or another drink. COMPLETLY RUINED MY EXPERIENCE. i will NOT be coming back here

Stopped by Alligator Lounge after dinner. Pitcher of beer was $22. You get a pizza voucher for every drink! Which was super interesting. Nice combo if you wanted to carb up. Seating in the back. Not a fan of their TP placement in their bathroom haha.

Always love this place, any time that I am in NYC come here for a coffee and some of the pastries. They have a good selection of drinks, savoury and of course the sweet, a few tables outside in a good day and is perfect for a breach, this time we have bird eating with us at the table. Must try

The food was good. Just basic pastries done right and there is nothing more beautiful than a well done croissant. I felt a little unclear on how to order or I would have ordered more but that being said, the system they have in place for the number of people that go through there was impressive. The prices were also really great considering the location and the food served. I think I spent less than $10 for the coffee and pain au chocolate which for the city is a good deal. The macarons were also really reasonably priced compared to other areas of the city and I wish I would have gotten some. There's seating but it goes quick. Overall. It was a nice start to my day.

Always a great experience! Have been to each location now in NY, Las Vegas and California and all are consistent in a great product. Love the service and having my items ready for a seamless cash out. Favorite every time is the giant Pistachio Macaroons which don’t last long in the bag. Great quality coffee and hot chocolate too! Definitely a place to try if your near Rockefeller!

Very busy cafe but the service was quick. We tried the corn soup, which was mediocre. The coffees were good. We ordered the PB&C (peanut butter and chocolate) sandwich cookie, which was tasty, but we enjoyed the chocolate babka more. The pistachio macaroon was perfectly chewy and full of flavour - and the blueberry macaroon wasn't bad too! The staff were super helpful!

Stopped in here to grab a quick snack and to warm up. The hot chocolate is the most expensive item on the menu but I'm sure that's supply and demand. Don't get me wrong...I wanted more hot chocolate after I had it. Very good and the barista is legit! The coffee crumble cake was great. I like the small layer of chocolate added in the middle. YUM!!! Wish I could have tried more.

The sandwiches are very tasty as is the coffee, excellent customer service, they have a lot of freshly baked options. You can see the baked goods straight out of the oven.

Such a charming spot! I had their braised tofu skin and vegan BBQ pork bao bun—the tofu was a standout: extremely delicious and refreshing, whereas the BBQ pork was a bit too sweet for my taste. My husband had the black pepper mushroom burger and raved about the bold flavors. This is the perfect go-to spot for a quick bite.

The Food was simply amazing ! My first time having Bao Buns and now I'm a huge fan. The level of patience shown with my 50 Vegan questions was beyond amazing! The Hibiscus Sweet Tea was a pleasant surprise! Also had the "Chicken salad" with the honey mustard vinaigrette was nothing short of delicious!

I had the Beyond Burger combo here and it was fantastic! The burger tasted really healthy and satisfying, and the fries were super tasty—crispy and flavorful. Everything was very fresh, and all my friends enjoyed what they ordered too. Great spot for a delicious and wholesome meal!

Best bao buns and everything is vegan! These were so so amazing, from the flavor to the texture, everything was fabulous. I can’t even choose one over the other. And for $11? Not a better deal in town.

What an awesome vegan restaurant. I had the Bento Box with miso soup and hibiscus tea. The menu had many different great vegan dishes. When I’m back in NY I will definitely be coming back again.

Delicious and filling meal, great staff, prompt service. I got the 2 bao combo (bbq “pork”and braised tofu skins) with fries and a lemon iced tea. Food came out fast and hot, iced tea was refreshing, fries were fresh and crispy. There are about 6-8 stools for dining in. I will definitely be back many times!

My go-to lunch spot as a vegetarian! I always get the bao bun combo with ginger chikn and bbq “pork” with a side of the cripsy mushroom. Such an underrated gem of a place.

Lots of seating and bright spaces at this location. I give blue bottle a try every once in awhile, the flavor is good but not great, not for the price in my opinion, I got a large cold brew it was almost $8. Service was great and store is very clean, nice large open space. I did not try any food options but they had some baked goods for sale.

Great place to sit and read! The Wi-Fi is super slow so I would not recommend working from here. I got a medium matcha latte and it was 8$- on the pricier side but it was pretty good. Overall 3.5/5 stars from me!

Objectively the working space is big, comfortable, with multiple sitting options, one of the best I’ve been in terms of looks. That being said… if you truly are thinking on working/studying here you must keep in mind that the WiFi is extremely unreliable— the only reason why I took one star off. Considering that the area seems to be designed as a “coworking space” they would benefit from bettering that. Matcha was great, not too strong not sweet. Not the cheapest. Fast and friendly service.

Today on THURSDAY 10/30 was my first time visiting that place. I ordered 2 lattes and shortly after I got them. No complaints. Then I asked “Do you have cinnamon?”. They said “No”. Excuse you, what! Please do some research why you as coffee shop MUST provide cinnamon especially on Thursdays. So disappointed

Be cautious — I had a deeply disappointing and offensive experience at this location. I requested a refund for the remaining balance under $10 on my Blue Bottle gift card — a standard policy clearly printed on the back of the card and available on their website. However, the staff member (a thin man with short hair wearing a black T-shirt) treated me as if I were making something up or behaving irrationally. He questioned whether I had done this at other stores, even asking me to name them, and insisted on proof before proceeding. He only began processing the refund after I showed him the policy myself. Throughout the entire interaction, his tone was dismissive and his attitude condescending. I felt deeply uncomfortable and disrespected. As a minority, I can’t help but question whether racial bias may have played a role in how I was treated. This was by far my worst experience at any Blue Bottle store, and I sincerely hope no one else is made to feel the way I did.

I arrived early, excited to see the place, very early. But, the person at the cashier with a horrible face. The bartender doing his best. I ordered a double espresso, it was almost a ristetto. It's not worth going back.

Stopped by Back Bar on a Saturday evening, reservations in hand, but the place was surprisingly quiet. Located in a hotel lobby, the bar has plenty of space. We swung by for drinks only, ordering the Early Harvest and Lemongrass Daiquiri - both well-made. The staff was friendly. Decor was stylish, and prices reasonable. A solid spot for groups or dates, though not particularly memorable.

Are here twice during our hotel stay. First night was busy but excellent service and amazing food and drinks. 2nd time was in the afternoon, was less busy but we were definitely forgotten about.

I booked a window table for our anniversary, and let me tell you, the view at night is absolutely magical! Our server, Marco, was fantastic—he suggested a cocktail I wouldn’t have picked myself, and it turned out to be just perfect. The vibe is both chic and romantic, making it a lovely spot for a special occasion. Yes, it’s a bit on the pricey side, but for such a milestone celebration, it was totally worth every penny to feel so special!

Stopped by for pre dinner drinks and blown away by the beautiful ambiance! What a clever little place you would never expect. Drinks we excellent and service was great.

I used to come here when it was The Vine. I actually didn’t know it had changed until met up with a friend here for drinks. The menu isn’t as good anymore and I was devastated to hear they no longer serve the Frose! This is the first place I ever tried it and it is (well was) still the best I’ve ever had! For a drink, I ordered a Mezcal Negroni; it was all right. We also ordered the fried calamari, crisps & dips and French fries. There’s nothing really inventive about the menu and it is standard bar fare. For the most part, the food was fine but I really didn’t like the crisps & dips. Our waitress was nice and the food came almost too fast. The atmosphere is better than your standard hotel bar vibes. Not sure I will come back here.

This little bar is the perfect spot for a coffee, a snack, or light lunch in the sometimes-bleak Herald Square area! Quiet and comfortable, Back Bar has comfortable seating and a calm ambiance. The service was excellent; timely, friendly, but unobtrusive. A much more gracious and pleasant meeting spot than the local Starbucks!

They added $60 to my tab after I paid. I guess they didn’t realize I got a copy of the receipt, so easily caught they did. Needless to say I won’t be going back. And heads up to everyone else - make sure to check your receipt against your bank statement at Back Bar. Skeevy and gross behavior.

Southside Coffee used to be our absolute favorite neighborhood spot — our go-to place for morning coffee, breakfast sandwiches for me and my husband, and the little treats our four kids always looked forward to. We’ve loved supporting them over the years and felt like part of the family… until this morning. My daughter had a long 4-hour gymnastics practice and insisted she couldn’t eat anywhere else but SouthSide coffee shop. We knew the weekend hours were a little later, but we arrived at 7:50am, just 10 minutes before the official 8:00am opening. The tall red-haired cashier was already behind the counter, yet he refused to sell us even a simple slice of banana bread. We explained politely — we weren’t asking for a sandwich, not even a coffee that needed to be made, just one piece of cake sitting right there on the tray. But instead of a little kindness or understanding, we got coldness and attitude. Unfortunately, we had to rush off to catch a train, so waiting wasn’t an option. Park Slope is such a friendly, welcoming community. That’s exactly why this interaction felt so out of place. I understand rules are rules — but when you’ve got a loyal family of regulars standing in front of you, sometimes going the extra mile for them is what sets a neighborhood business apart. This morning, sadly, that spirit was missing.

Cute place, fair prices, amazing coffee. I give 5 stars. But will give my feedback as well. Would be super cool if there will be any healthy option on breakfast menu. Like yogurt or oatmeal or some açaí bowl or avocado toast. And another suggestion is to add some tables outside for warm weather. We were there at 11 am on Friday and many people were standing and waiting for seats. But the place is cool already! Keep it up guys. Good luck 🍀
