Penguin Point, a well-established local chain, offers a concise selection of burgers, chicken, fries, and other popular fast-food options. Formerly renowned for their hot and fresh food, the overall quality has sadly declined. During a recent visit with three others, an order of family-sized fries was disappointingly cold and tough. Moreover, the portion was only half full without any accompaniments like salt or ketchup provided.
The lady behind the counter was amazing! She told us the history of Penguin Point restaurants since we are from out-of-town and have never heard of them before. She was so friendly and super nice!! The food was really good, we both had meals and the total was a little less than 16.00. Would definitely come back again if we're ever in town.

I moved away 21 yrs ago and everytime I come home I always make a stop at Penguin Point. They have the best wavy fries and the pork tenderloin is so good. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because there wasn't enough sauce but I asked for more and they gladly gave me some. This place is a must go to at least 1 time if your in the area.

Have visited This location regularly lately Foods usually been spot on fresh And full of flavor and excitement for sure. Love there Wally Sauce on just about everything lately :) Drive Thru is hit or miss going on a Friday your going to be waiting in line a good 20-25 minutes. Good food is worth the wait. New Management is going on plans for experience changes are on the way looking forward to the changes. On my last visit was blown away by the accuracy and speed of my order Burgers were juicy sauce was tasty fries were hot and fresh and got my food in about 2 minutes shocked me after last few visits so excited I had to thank the manager for the great experience :) Thanks again for making my last visit an exciting one Nichole and Aeriel and Thommy :) Aeriel went above and beyond made sure all my requests were taken care of even offered some suggestions while waiting for my food before I ramble on some more lol thanks again. Got an 8 piece chicken with 2 sides. Chicken was moist, lightly breaded and excellent. Price is very good. This will be our new Friday meal! The staff was friendly and helpful. They made more chicken because I didn't want all white meat with attitude. Gave me a drink for free while making chicken. Great experience!

I stopped in for a sandwich this week and ordered a chicken deluxe with fries. The sandwich and fries looked really good, but the last quarter of the chicken patty hadn't gotten fried. That part was still uncooked! They did offer a refund/new sandwich so that's a good mark for costumer service. The restaurant itself is slightly run down but still in good shape and pretty clean. I'll plan to come again and hopefully get a fully cooked burger 🙃 and try a shake

I’ve come to this McDonald’s for about 15 years and it is a decent one. The staff are helpful, ordering is easy, quick service. I like that you can use the kiosk to order and even modify or change the options. Overall a good McDonald’s to stop at when you are looking for a quick fill up.

Went thru drive thru 1/17/25. I got the sausage egg mcMuffin meal. On my third bite I bit into a chunk of plastic. I was horrified and did not finish my meal. I'm still hungry and I will not be going back to this location.

If I could rate 0 I would. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. I ordered online, sat in the line for 30 minutes. When I got to the window they said they didn’t have my order even after I gave the code in the order line. Once they said they didn’t have my order I asked if they could just refund me because I’d been sitting there so long and was going to be late back to work. She said she couldn’t refund me because I didn’t know off the top of my head what all was on my order. I was trying to pull it up and was told to pull in the pick up spot. I finally found the order on the app and went inside. Waited in line before deciding it wasn’t worth it and headed back to work. I tried calling 5 times before someone answered to try and get my money refunded. I asked to speak to a manager and told them what happened. It was the girl in the window that told me she couldn’t refund me. She starts yelling at the top of her lungs about she didn’t say she couldn’t give me a refund. There’s absolutely no way she is a manager and if she is she should immediately be fired! I work in customer service and would have never spoke to a customer the way I just was. She said she refuses to give me a refund over the phone and to come back in. When I told her I couldn’t that I had to go back to work that I was late she continued to say that I would need to come back through the drive through. Why couldn’t she have refunded me while I was sitting there why did she say she couldn’t refund me then back track while on the phone?! This whole experience has me questioning coming back. I feel cheated it was a waste of my time, my gas to drive all the way over there and back and essentially my money stolen.

Well, I don't like to leave negative reviews, but this is the third problem in 2 weeks....for the third time I didn't get my sauces. Asked, received and left. Then found I wasn't given the 2 orders of apples for the kids....ugh Someone processes the order, the window person looks in the bag, for what I am not sure and I guess I have to check the order again.... disappointed for sure...

I came up here at 4 o’clock in the morning. The system was down. I told them I would wait until it came back up because I am a breakfast person. The system came back up. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese Biscuit sandwich. When I open my bag and open the sandwich up, the biscuit was hard and overcooked, and my sausage was halfway cooked and halfway uncooked to the point before I realized the sausage was uncooked. I had took a bite to find my sausage was cold like it just came out the freezer. I took the top biscuit off to see that half of my sausage was cooked and the other half was uncooked. I called up there to complain and get a refund or a new sandwich and the lady who spoke to me, had called a attitude and told me that it was cooked And that she gave me a cooked sandwich. I told her it is not cooked and would you like for me to bring it up there to show her that it was not all the way cooked and she said well it’s gonna be cold when you bring it up here as if it was not already halfway cold as if it came out the freezer Overall bad customer service and a really bad meal for a pregnant person that is not supposed to eat undercooked meat. This made me very sick.

The lobby service absolutely sucks, walked in to order food and both kiosks that accepted cash were closed, they were also closed a few weeks before I got there which wouldn't be a big deal IF THERE WAS ACTUALLY SOMEONE AT THE COUNTER AND YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO WAIT 20 MINUTES FOR SOMEONE TO SHOW UP AT THE COUNTER. It's very disappointing how much the service has gone down hill since the new remodel, if a order got made wrong before the remodel it was no big deal just walk up to the counter and explain the situation and it was taken care of quickly and you were back in your way, now you wait forever at the front counter and practically have to yell to get someones attention which is a unnecessary. Very disappointed overall in the lobby service, drive thru is always fairly solid on service I just wish they would change something to make the lobby service better

Will never order food here again. Its usually wrong 8 out of 10 times but today took the cake. Waited 20 minutes for fast food. They didn't even give me all the food, they missed a happy meal. Waited another 5 minutes for a happy meal and got home and realized it was the wrong happy meal! Didn't get any sauce or straws. Will never give this location anymore of my money.

I approached the counter with hope in my heart and a thirst for something sweet. What I received was betrayal in a cup. One sip, and I was transported, not to a southern porch on a warm summer day, but to a desolate wasteland where sugar never existed and joy goes to die. Ordered a sweet tea, but apparently McDonald’s heard “slightly tea-flavored tap water.” I’ve had rainwater with more flavor. If I wanted to be betrayed by a beverage, I would’ve made it myself. McDonald’s, you owe me a sugar packet and an apology 🤧

It did take 15 minutes to get my fish sandwich. And some fries and the drive threw wasn't. I was the only one sitting there and then a truck pulled up. Then I get ketchup one which I asked for enough ketchup. I didn't know I had to ask for to or 3 I didn't have enough catch up for my fries. Cheese is all dripping off the bun. Definitely doesn't look like anything on the commercials how it looks so nice

Although there were a lot of people there when we went because it was right around noon, the service was quick. They let us go sit down and brought the food to us when it was ready instead of us standing there waiting for it. The food was decent, the service was great, and the restaurant was clean. Not bad for a fast food place… it’s right beside the freeway too so easy to get to.

I'll get the one negative thing out of the way up front, which is the cost - relative to other fast food places, Culver's is comparatively expensive. But then again, the food is a tier above what you will find at most fast food places. The milkshakes in particular are among the best I have ever tasted, fast food or otherwise. So while the bill came to roughly $45 for three of us, Culver's probably falls squarely in the category of "you get what you pay for".

Hi quality and great service at the counter. Our order was rung correctly, but food at the table was significantly incorrect. They didn't bring cheese curds, paid for a double but received a single, and my son received all condiments despite ordering ketchup only. Again, The cashier rung everything correctly but the kitchen and food runner were responsible for the mistakes.

I don’t go to Taco Bell very often but had a craving today for it. The staff was nice and attentive, the restaurant was clean, and the food was decent for fast food. If you’re traveling through here it sits right beside the freeway too so the location is great!

Every single time we go here, the wait in the drive thru is insanely slow. One evening we waited in the drive-thru line for well over an hour! It is terrible. To make matters worse, something is usually wrong with the order, the food is absolutely destroyed, mashed down flat, or seems as if it was thrown together by a kindergartener. These issues seem to be isolated to just the Auburn location as other TB locations that we go to frequently aren't like this.

This location is truly always a hit or miss, tonight it was a miss, my husband ordered dinner for us at approx. 10:25pm through the app and promptly went to pick it up (we understand our 5/6 minute drive to this location is not long enough to finish up orders and understand order of placement) however, it’s now 10:58pm and my husband is just now on his way back. The lack of urgency at this location is truly a disappointment, my husband also stated that people from the drive thru were coming inside because their orders were wrong in some way. As a former Taco Bell employee, I understand the stresses and energy it takes to work a made to order drive thru position, but attention to detail and urgency shouldn’t be sacrificed. Food was a bit cold but decent.

If I could give zero stars, I would you place are disgustingly rude on the Night Shift. There’s an entire post on Facebook about how horrible food was literally in one night people waiting on a long lines food coming out somebody’s food was ice cold.!!! Food containing stuff that people are allergic to!! I hope your franchise owner sees some of these reviews and gets notified about your horrible employees and I’m sure the right person who gets a bad taste at your café will not notify them and show your franchise owner all of the horrible comments that was on that Facebook post

I never ever leave reviews but this one needed it. Me and my husband came here today. We got a famous bowl and a three piece tender. The famous bowl was alright but literally all corn. But what I wanted to leave this review about was the tenders. I pulled the first tender out and it had hairs on it literal hairs and some weird shiny glitter. DISGUSTING… I just thought it might be that one tender so I threw it out and grabbed the next one. The new one I grabbed had hairs all over it too and so did the following third one. I didn’t go back in and grab a new box of them cause if all three of my tenders had it then most likely the others did too! Don’t get food from here. ITS ACTUALLY GROSS.

I went in & ordered food on Sunday 6/8/25. This restaurant is beyond filthy and I will never eat there again. We weren't even sure if anyone was working as no one waited on us until we had to holler out to see if anyone was working or not. All of the floor was super sticky, there was a clump of black nasty stuff by the door, the condiment station was so nasty. One of the workers making the food walked outside, came back in never washing his hands, took an order & placed his hands all over the top of the cup he gave the customer. Then he walked to the grill, took his hat off, messed with his long hair and right back to work. It took forever for our food, but we were told the mozz sticks were fresh! Thanks but the rest of our food was cold and gross!!!! I was beyond floored. Everyone had long hair and the guy had facial hair and no nets, no gloves, nothing! GROSS

I had Arby’s door dashed, that means I paid for delivery, and tipped my dasher extra because of how long she was waiting. I get my order and half of my shit is missing. I don’t receive my tenders OR the extra sauces I paid for. Even though we paid for the luxury of having it delivered, my boyfriend goes TO the location to let them know they messed up. He returns home with my tenders, yes, but they still proceeded to skip out on the sauces I ordered, I only received cheese sauce. My boyfriend was not made aware of any sauces being ‘out of stock’ either. All around highly dissatisfied.

Went there on August 30th to inside to place an order. Unfortunately the door was locked and I could not enter. They were only taking orders through the drive thru only so I left and went next door to Culver's. This new store has a super sleek new design. They pump out great blizzards. We have been there at least once a week & have thought the drive-thru order takers could be a tad more welcoming & friendlier. It is key 🔑 to success! It is still a new place & I'm sure everyone is still learning.

I am not one to create a review, however we were incredibly disappointed by the register staff on the afternoon of 4/2. I am unsure on the name as we were never given a receipt, but the young girl working could not be bothered to look up, make eye contact, or make any sort of attempt at good customer service. You have a great new build, but without a sound support staff, none of that matters. Hopefully if it’s the same girl that has been mentioned in other reviews, management will have some tough conversations.

Messed my order up. Forgot all my drinks and my kids Sunday. Food was so nasty. Honestly the worst burger I've ever tried. It was so messy. So much mayo and ketchup all over the place. So gross. Best thing was the ranch dressing.

It seems to be a common theme customer service here is an issue. Several times we have came through the drive thru and the employees speaking through the speaker are usually always rude and don’t sound very happy to be serving customers that’s the general consensus. Today I’m not sure who I had they didn’t give me a receipt, but I wasn’t impressed. We ordered some blizzards, and the employee handed me one of them and I kindly asked for a drink carrier because I had my dog with me. She seemed a little upset about that and didn’t speak to me after that after giving me my food and taking my card. She didn’t even acknowledge my very friendly dog who loves going through drive thrus and usually enjoys a pup cup. Not that that’s a big deal but it says something about a person. To top it off we didn’t get the right blizzards and one of them was completely not frozen and ended up all over my car.

Rude, unprofessional staff — don’t waste your money here. I never leave reviews, but my experience at this Dairy Queen on 6/3/25 around 7:30 PM was so bad, it needs to be said. I ordered a chocolate cookie dough Blizzard. When I got to the window, they handed me one made with vanilla ice cream. I don’t go to DQ often, so I assumed “chocolate” meant chocolate soft serve. I apologized for being "difficult" and politely asked if it could be remade with chocolate since I really don’t like vanilla. Instead of handling it professionally, the employee gave me attitude and nasty looks right away. The manager, who clearly heard everything, came over and snapped, “What’s your problem?” She was rude, sarcastic, and clearly annoyed that I was still at the window. I stayed calm, explained I didn’t know how it worked, and apologized again — but she kept talking down to me like I was dumb. She stood there making me feel uncomfortable with her mean remarks until she finally yelled at someone to remake it — which, by the way, took less than a minute. I’ve worked in customer service. I know how tough customers can be. But I was respectful and polite the whole time. There was absolutely no excuse for how I was treated. This wasn’t just a small mistake — it was a complete lack of basic respect. If this is how the manager handles a simple request, it says a lot about the whole place. I left feeling embarrassed and angry over something that should’ve been a quick, easy fix. Don’t give this place your business. They don’t deserve it.

New drive-thru is quick and easy but overall the restaurant itself seems a lot smaller than the old one. Food is still hot and fresh. Service is so-so. No one smiles or says welcome, how are you, thank you, or have a nice day. It's always, "Order when your ready" or "Go ahead with your order." Even a "hi" would be nice.

I placed an online order and went here at 12:20 AM. The place is supposed to be open until 1 AM. The street sign and the menu board in the drive thru were off... however, there were people inside and the lights were on. I pulled up to the speaker and heard the automated "Hi! Can I take your order!?" come across. I announced that I was there to pick up an online order, and I received no response.... a couple minutes later, some young girl with glasses, that looked like she was about 15, walked outside carrying a bag of food and a drink in her hands. She said the restaurant closed early. I told her I already placed an online order and paid for it through the app. She said, "There's nothing I can do. You will need to call the GM in the morning and ask for a refund."

Hit and miss on customer service, usually friendly, and serve with a smile. One of the better Wendy's in a 60mile radius.. I usually go to Fremont, IN Wendy's.. have the BEST MADE BACONATOR FRIES! We entered the building to place a "to go" order and use the restrooms. My husband opened the marked Men's restroom to find the door unlocked and a female employee sitting on the toilet. The Women's restroom was locked, so I went to the counter to order. A man in the back area said he'd be right with me. Two female employees then entered the area behind the counter. One apologized, and said she'd take my order from the drive thru register area. It was odd to call out across the room instead of having her across the counter. I ordered two bacon egg and cheese English muffins for my husband, and one sausage egg and cheese English muffin for myself. The man in the back told the other employee to come back there and she could learn to make a sandwich. We received our food quickly and got back on the road. We received one bacon and cheese English muffin, no egg; and two sausage and cheese English muffins, no egg. There was no receipt in the bag, so I don't know if the register girl keyed it in wrong, or if the guy and the girl made them wrong and completely omitted eggs. Also, the freshly made sandwiches were barely warm. Meat from a warming tray placed on a room temperature bun with a cold slice of cheese. I did use the restroom that one of the employees had vacated. There were paper towels and toilet paper on the floor. The employee should have picked that up before she washed her hands and exited the restroom. That's why atmosphere received 1 star. I worked at a Wendy's during my high school years. This entire encounter would have made the owner of "my" store's head spin around. We were the only customers at approximately 8:00 am on a Sunday morning. I now know why. 0 out of 10 stars. Would not recommend.

So let's start with the kiosk thing... I dont like it! I waited to be waited on by a person. I think trying to save money with kiosks and mask it as saving time is stupid! Let people keep their jobs! I was greated and treated well by staff! The food was as good as expected. The real problem I had was all the flies! Also I wanted ketchup but the area was disturbing and the nozzle crusty so I passed! I am always weary of eating at a place gull of bugs! So I would steer clear of Auburn burger King until they address this problem. I added pics of some of the flies and the gross ketchup area.

I usually stop by to get the same meal around the same time. I called twice about hair on my fries and the third time I walked in to get a new one and then the other two times after I ignored that problem because I realize no matter how many times I call them they are going to continue letting employees prepare the meals without hair falling and a few of my coworkers had the same experience. I'm not going to this specific burger king anymore. I should have learned my lesson the second time.

I’ve always liked Burger King as a fast food place, but when I got to the restaurant at 6:00ish PM on a Friday there were no cars in the parking lot. I placed my order at a computer screen where there used to be people. They called my name out for my order and when I went to pick it up there were no drinks or cups provided me. I asked for them and got them. I got to the soda machine and the only options for pop was Sprite or Mello Yellow.

I went in and ordered a pizza for delivery, yes, in person because I was there getting gas. She said it would be 30-35 minutes. She mentioned tip and I said "I hate to give a tip before I see what kind of service I get" but I gave a generous tip anyhow. I went home and waited. 35 minutes came and went, 45 minutes later I called and she said it has left there so give it a few more minutes. I patiently waited 10 more minutes then I decided to go outside and watch for them in case they were having trouble finding it. I opened my front door and there was my cold pizza on the ground 55 minutes after I ordered it. Despite this note taped to my door!

I had the worst experience I've ever encountered at a restaurant in my life. I placed an order online for Papa John's at the new location in Auburn, Indiana, on W. 7th St. When I arrived at the restaurant to check on the status of my order, the man making the pizza crust walked over to the computer, threw up his hands in frustration, and said, "We'll get to your pizza when we get to it." Feeling discouraged, I went back to my vehicle and waited for a while. After some time, I noticed a different employee, a woman, at the front counter, so I asked her how long my order would take. She told me it would be about an hour. I decided to wait, but after about ten minutes, I returned to the counter to ask if I could change my order to delivery. She agreed but said it would take another 82 minutes because the drivers were backed up with deliveries. This was unreal!

I ordered a pizza and breadsticks for carry out at 3:30. I arrived slightly early and could hear the workers talking while I was waiting. I heard one girl say to the other that she was going to take a piece of the pizza and comment about the kind. I thought she was joking. When I opened the pizza I can see that a tiny sliver is missing. I paid for this pizza for myself not the workers. They were also discussing smoking various things. I am extremely unhappy with this service. I drove 30 minutes one way because this is the closest Papa John’s location, only to have my food stolen. Edit: the GM was very nice and provided me with a full refund. I’m still very disappointed in this experience. I have always said Papa John’s is my favorite pizza. I’ve recommended it to so many people who, shockingly, have never tried it. I don’t think I will be back for a long time, or be recommending it anymore. I am very appreciative the GM took my complaint seriously.

While processing my payment "their system went down" the money was debited from my bank account however the employee and manager insisted I needed "to pay for it again" and was told the original purchase payment would be returned into my bank account without 3-7 business days. So since they couldn't refund the money back into my account that day I chose to not accept the food. The interior of the building also did not look the cleanest.

We ordered 3 Pizzas on Sunday and enjoyed everything. I even ate one of the 3 Garlic Butters. We had two leftover butters. See the date on the bottom (far right) We ordered a Pizza again on the 4th of July and imagine my shock when I went to use the garlic butter and "just happened to look" at the bottom! Imagine my shock when I saw 2/6/16 on the bottom. Imagine how old this is! You may say, but that 16 could be an 18. . . Not when you view them side by side. The butter in the middle is definitely missing a few dots!!!! Read the date before dipping! I learned my lesson.

Placed an order for pickup. Upon arriving my husband went in to grab the food while I waited in the car. Everyone working ignored and avoided him. Then a young man said “there’s a black guy at the counter”. Loud enough for my husband to hear. Rude and disrespectful, as well as discriminatory. Pathetic to see such young people being raised to think this is acceptable behavior. Upon arriving home, we opened the pizza to see that it was squished. Will never go back to PJs again.
