Klee's Bar & Grill is a popular and laid-back spot known for its thin-crust pizza and other pub grub, as well as its happy hour specials from Monday to Friday, 3-6pm. It's a casual place with an easygoing atmosphere where you can enjoy great food and drinks. The restaurant is located at 101 Boulevard in Seaside Heights, NJ. Visitors recommend Joanne as an excellent server who ensures a pleasant dining experience.
Klees is our go to place at least once a week. Mostly everything we get to eat is really good. Their calamari is cooked perfectly and very tender. Their Reubens are awesome. My fa write is the chicken and eggplant parm meal. Their soups never disappoint either, whether it's the French onion, Manhattan Clam Chowder or their soup of the day. And I don't say this lightly being I am originally from north jersey, but Their pizza is really good. Lastly, Their famous Bloody Mary's on Saturday and Sunday are delicious and almost a meal in themselves.

We always go to this place when we are in the area. Food is always consistent and delicious. Wings are one of the best and never overcooked. The fries are the classic crusted fries which always taste amazing. We got the crab cake sandwich and a cheeseburger. Would recommend going here!

Wow I got to this place every year when I am down the shore. The bar staff is second to none...they are all friendly, attentive and you don't wait at all for a drink as the staff there cover each other and fill your glass right as soon as it is empty. This is one of my highlights every year on my vacation. They have a great happy hour and great fresh draft beer. The food is very foo as well and the desserts.....but seriously the staff is what makes this place...l.highly recommend this bar for a happy hour. Give it a try you won't be disappointed!!

Another good local Seaside bar and restaurant. The food is really good and the service is very friendly. During the summer it can get packed, but has a good sized bar. Usual wait time when busy is about 20 to 30 min. Lots of food choices, all good. It can get noisy, but not too loud you can't hear. Tip those servers well, they really hustle. Another must stop in when in Seaside.

I had the Southern Chicken Sandwich. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I regret not taking a picture but I had to review this Sandwich. Tasty, well cooked and delicious. My husband had the bacon mac and cheese and he enjoyed it very much. Will return. Highly recommend.

The Sawmill is a casual oceanside eatery that offers a wide range of food and drinks. It's known for its renowned Jersey Shore flavors and boardwalk nostalgia. The menu includes jumbo pizza slices, burgers, entrees, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, wraps, pasta dishes and more. Guests can also enjoy crushes, cocktails and local New Jersey craft beers.
This was my 1st time coming here. The pizza was so huge it needed its own plate. The service was great. Our waitress was very friendly. Would definitely come back again

If you are at Seaside Heights Park to enjoy the beach and broadwalk, this is a great laid-back restaurant for families. They have a kids menu and their pizza slices are huge. The Siracha chicken was a bit dry (needed more sauce) but the eggplant caprese sandwich was perfect. The claim linguini is good too and all prices were reasonable (most adult entrees were less than $21). Great to stop by after the beach and before exploring the broadwalk.
ROSElin831 — Google review
The pizza was definitely large and would have been an ok price for something that large if it was better quality. We ordered a half cheese, and half mushroom pizza. When it arrived it reminded me of the bad pizza we were served at my elementary school. There was also a ridiculous amount of mushrooms on the mushroom half of the pizza. It wasn’t a bargain so much as gross. The number of mushrooms on my wife’s slice was more than the number you’d see on an entire large pizza elsewhere. The waiter did a decent job waiting on the table, the atmosphere was ok for a sports bar/pizza place, and the appetizers we got (soft pretzels, and cheese balls) were decent. The pizza was so bad that it was kind of ruined the last night of our vacation.
Christopher H — Google review
On the busy hustle and bustle of THE Jersey Shore boardwalk, at the southern end, lies the most relaxing, family oriented pizza joint that makes a New Yorker feel right at home. Incredible pizza. Incredible food selection, massive dining area that easily accommodate my large family, and service that makes Michelin Rated restaurants look like the night shift at the local Taco Bell. From mussels, to nachos, too traditional Italian eats, you will not be disappointed. Size of the pie aside, being so big that NASA gets worried when they toss their dough, the value and quality is beyond that of anything else you will ever find in the entire state of Jersey. You came highly recommended. And I’m glad I took that recommendation. In fact, we loved it so much, we went twice for dinner and once for lunch on the same vacation. Good on you, Sawmill.
Pontiff G — Google review
When I was a teenager I worked on the seaside boardwalk. I worked the concessions, I was a spook in a haunted house, I filled soda machines and worked a water slide. All the workers on the boardwalk would eat at the sawmill. You could get a slice the size of a medium pizza and a coke for $1.50. It's a little more now but its the same pizza and atmosphere. It was pretty cool going back 50 years later and seeing the old place. I'm glad it survived the storm. If you are in seaside you need to eat and get a beer at the sawmill. It's boardwalk history the way God meant it to be.
Gus M — Google review
The biggest slice of pizza ever. Worth walking past the other pizza options for. 100% recommend the Sawmill. Cooked to perfection. Free garlic, oregano and other toppings available at the counter.
Travis L — Google review
Was on vacation. Felt comfortable there nice local beers on tap, on boardwalk, decent pizza. If you drive there, lot next to restaurant and beach; where boardwalk ends. Pay for parking, as police (in Seaside Heights) patrol.
Chuck M — Google review
When they say big pizza, they really meant it. The pizzas are big and delicious, the garlic knots are also big and equally as good as the pizza, and the people serving us were pretty nice they gave us extra garlic knot sauce free of charge.

Maruca's Tomato Pies, located at Seaside Heights, NJ, has been a staple on the boardwalk since 1950. The pizzeria is known for its massive and thick slices of pizza, making it a must-visit for those seeking an authentic boardwalk experience. Despite the crowds during the summer months, Maruca's consistently delivers delicious pizzas with a light sauce, thin crispy crust, and high-quality cheese and toppings.
Maruca’s Pizza. The Best. The End. Outside seating and awesome waitstaff knocked it out of the park!!! Just wow. Haven’t been here in a while…. What was I crazy????? GO!
Geneen G — Google review
No doubt about it the place for a slice on the boardwalk. Another place has literally like six locations along the boardwalk with inferior pizza. Skip them all for Maruca’s. There’s a lot of amazing pizza in NJ, but none of it is on the Seaside Heights boardwalk. That said, this is a really solid slice in the heart of the action. Great crust, tasty cheese and sauce, you will not be disappointed with a slice here.
Luke P — Google review
Great service and food. Outside waitress service available.
Michael M — Google review
They have the absolute best bar pie anywhere around. Service is outstanding!! Great atmosphere. This is a hidden treasure at Seaside on the boardwalk. Dave portney even voted this the best pizza in Seaside on the boardwalk.
Denise G — Google review
Always enjoyed their unique flavored pizza with the distinctive cheese pattern. Thought it was the best ,however a few years ago the flavor changed. I believe it was in the cheese mix and that flavor never returned. Such a shame, and the slices have gotten smaller, now over $ 6.00. I may stop in from time to time to see if there is an improvement otherwise I'll be going to my new favorite spot
Russell A — Google review
What perfect timing for pizza on the Boardwalk. The day was warm and gorgeous, the beer cold and the pizza was crispy and delicious. Just for fun, we added an Italian Hot Dog with the works and a very generous order of fries. This place gets crowded in the summer, but today there was no wait. Street parking was easy and free (until April). There’s bingo every Sunday. The hostess and waitress were friendly and attentive. It was super fun! We walked the boardwalk afterwards. The restaurant is accessible, one can also order at the windows and take the food to nearby tables.
Tatiana H — Google review
Pizza was amazing! Delicious food, friendly service, cold beer!
Amy S — Google review
Very unique pie. Sauce is fresh tasting. Not sweet, reduced or seasoned with much garlic or basil. Cheese was average tasting. Boardwalk front layout and signage a bit confusing. Tables and ground out front were also all dirty.

Seafood restaurant
PJ's Place is a casual eatery that offers a variety of seafood dishes, including linguine with shrimp and lobster rolls, as well as breakfast options. For those seeking a lively atmosphere and ocean views, the Spicy Cantina Restaurant serves up house-made margaritas and Mexican cuisine. Santeria is known for its classic tacos on the boardwalk, while offering a modern taqueria experience. The restaurant has been likened to the type of special place featured on popular food shows.
If you’re in Seaside Heights and craving seafood, PJ’s Place is the spot. Everything we had was unbelievably fresh and cooked to perfection. The mussels were tender and flavorful, the lobster was sweet and succulent, and the pasta underneath soaked up every bit of that incredible sauce. Even the bread deserves a mention—it was bar none the best I’ve had, and dipping it into their rich, buttery sauces was pure heaven. From start to finish, the meal was outstanding. The portions are generous, the flavors are spot on, and you can truly taste the quality in every bite. PJ’s Place isn’t just the best seafood restaurant in Seaside Heights—it’s one of the best I’ve been to, period. Highly recommend making this a must-stop on your Jersey Shore trip!

Came here on a Saturday around noon with my husband. We bought beer from the liquor store across the street because we read that it's BYOB. Our server told us that the kitchen would need 10 minutes to be set up for lunch service. This was fine with us since it takes us that long to decide on what to order haha. We noticed people around us were eating toast and eggs so we assumed that the restaurant could only prepare breakfast until they could set up for lunch. We looked on Yelp and decided on lobster mac and cheese and the seafood paella. My huband also ordered the New England clam chowder. Everything was super scrumptious. My only complaint was that the clam chowder didn't have that much clam in it. It was like digging for the little morsels of gold. The seafood paella had lots of seafood and just a little bit of rice, which I liked. There was a whole half lobster which was so sweet. The lobster mac and cheese we thought would be an appetizer but it was huge with lots of lobster. It was so good with tabasco sauce. We barely finished. The service was great. If we ever visit seaside heights again we'll definitely come back.

Went here for breakfast, the strawberry pancakes and porkroll egg and cheese were delicious. Our only complaint was the service was very slow. Server was extremely friendly and respectful but it took almost an hour to get served. I think he placed all guest orders (tables) at the same time and flooded the kitchen. But overall it was a good place.
Danielle T — Google review
What a lovely place. We sat outside and were served in a timely manner. We ordered calamari first which was lovely, then the main course which was just incredible. It is BYOB so come tipsy or bring your own!
S. J — Google review
This place is amazing. I dont know why they only have a 4.1 review. Its the best food I have had in a long long time. We had the watermelon salad along with the clam chowder. Bother were great. Also has the salmon special and the short rib bolognese, which was the best thing I have ever eaten. Highly recommend. This will deff be our go to spot when we are here at the beach.
Jamie S — Google review
when I went to get dinner, the attention was excellent. They apologized that my order was a little late. The food very tasty. Now that when I went to breakfast the next day the attention was different, the person who attended us was not the most attentive, she was more concerned about having fun with her classmates. We were not treated in the best way.
Daniel T — Google review
Great place on the boardwalk but not boardwalk food! Breakfast is always fresh and delicious. Went for dinner last night and it was fresh and tasty seafood and my son had a great burger and fries.

The pulled pork & French fries did not disappoint ! Love this place & I’ll def be back . First time here today ever visiting seaside . Cool vibes and nice server , plus whoever is cooking is a good chef . 👌🏼
Kris G — Google review
It hurts me as a veteran restaurant employee of over 20 years to leave a bad review especially bc the food is good, but... the service... is a total joke!!! Total lack of professionalism, total lack of experience, no clue how to serve or how to approach a table, or steps of service. Twenty minutes for basic soft drinks and 2 beers? No plates or napkins for the appetizers I had to ask for them and got a reaction as if I was asking for extra sauce. Apparently, they lack kitchen staff bc someone came over and said "Sorry, the kitchen got slammed all at once." We could see just 2 or 3 people working in the kitchen from our table. We were very confused, bc the restaurant wasn't even full and could clearly see everyone was waiting for a long time for their food and growing impatient. Not to mention they were out of their brisket which should have been mentioned when we received menus. My husband lost all patience and we had to leave. We threw some cash down for what we ate and drank and then left. Never again. Sad. Very sad.
Melissa P — Google review
Amazing server Nicki was so cheerful and so friendly! The food was beyond amazing! We will be here again to try the burger next!

Delicious food. I had the samples and took plenty of it home. My wife, brother, and his girlfriend had burgers, made of chuck, brisket, and short rib! We will definitely go back again.

Cheesesteak restaurant
If you find yourself wandering the vibrant boardwalk of Seaside Heights, make sure to stop by Cheesesteak Louie's, a beloved spot renowned for its mouthwatering cheesesteaks. Each sub is customizable with your choice of cheese and can be loaded up with sautéed peppers and onions for that extra flavor kick. Locals rave about it, often ranking it among their top picks in Ocean County.
Must try if you are at seaside heights!! Skip the other places because this is the real deal. I got the original cheesesteak with the cooper cheese as well as fries. The cheesesteak is a very big sandwich and the cheese on it was amazing. The fries were so fresh and one of the best ones I have ever had. Everyone was very friendly especially the girl ringing in the order. Definitely will come back!
Mia C — Google review
Hands down the best cheesesteak down the shore! Top 5 in the tri state area. My wife and went on 9/29/25 (local summer) best time of year to go. Service was great, staff was friendly and courteous. Sesame roll onions and cooper sharp, tots were crispy and perfect. No need to run to south philly, head to south jersey! You won't regret it. ✌️

Best in the area, hands down! Loaded with meat, sautéed onion, I get Cooper sharp, fries are the REAL DEAL, real potatoes, not frozen, the best ❤️ Dear Louie, I LOVE ❤️ YOU❤️ #marryme #cheesesteaklouies
Deana B — Google review
Was in the area, and off season (not summer) at this famous NJ shore establishment. Was told they had some good cheesesteaks. Was told the truth - their cheesesteaks were very good. Got potato tots which were so-so. The cheesesteak was huge! People there are very nice and friendly. Only note - $$$$. Getting the cheesesteak, small tots and a drink came up to $25. Add that you have to pay for metered parking for street parking, was an expensive fast food lunch.
Warren P — Google review
Absolutely hands down one of the best cheesesteaks I've had!! The bread isn't too hard but still hold up to keep the sandwich together. The Louie Bacon Ranch with the Cooper Sharp even though it's chicken is my go to!! Do the Louie Original with the Cooper Sharp and I promise you won't be disappointed!! Tater rots are crunchy and tasty!! No pictures because when I get it I'm too excited to eat it!!

Great options for a custom crafted absolutely delicious cheesesteak! Friendly and inviting counterpersons invite you to come and experience a no nonsense sandwich experience. I said it was was my first time and the cook said "well you are going to like it!" Got mine with onions Cooper Sharp and a non seeded roll with fries. One bit and it was a taste sensation! Definitely coming back!

Wonderful food just two blocks from the Seaside Heights Boardwalk. The cheesesteaks are delicious...great quality steak, bread, cheese and extremely tasty...served fresh and hot. These cheesesteak sandwiches rival Pat's & Gino's. Kudos to the owner TJ who made us feel extremely welcomed and even brought us our food as we ate outside. Definitely try... better than anything you can get on the Boardwalk...take the walk you won't regret it! Enjoy :)

In search of a good cheesesteak, we wandered into Seaside Heights for a memorable meal at this recommended South Jersey favorite. On a quiet and cold January day traffic was light as compared to what it must be like here in July. Our orders were taken by the very friendly hosts and we proceeded to sit down for our cheesesteaks, one with just provolone and the other with onions, peppers and cheese whiz, both were served on hero rolls without seeds. The sandwiches were great and the bread was fresh, holding up well to the overstuffed steak and cheese filling. I think that next time I will choose mine without the peppers, they were not necessary. We really enjoyed this place along with the hospitality, definitely one of the better cheesesteaks in the area, we look forward to returning.

Seaside Social House, which opened in late 2023, has garnered a lot of positive feedback for its renovations and rooftop area that's perfect for enjoying warm weather. The restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere and serves artisan pizza, burgers, wraps, appetizers, and craft cocktails. Customers have praised the delicious food and friendly staff. The establishment also hosts various music events to cater to different moods.
I recently hosted a birthday celebration at Seaside Social House, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was a massive hit—every dish was delicious, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about it! A special thank you to the owner, Rob, who went above and beyond to make the night perfect. He was incredibly helpful and accommodating, from assisting with setting up our Photo Booth to dimming the lighting just right to create the perfect mood. It's those little touches that really made the event feel special. We had about 50 people, and the atmosphere was perfect for our group. Everyone had such a great time that no one wanted to leave at the end of the night! If you’re looking for a place to host an event, I highly recommend Seaside Social House. The food, service, and ambiance are second to none.

Decent first time experience at the Seaside Social House. Decided to go with their Swiss Smash burger - definitely has very good flavor however my only feedback I would share was the bun used was way too big for the size of the burger - and it was very dense. If you are gonna get the smash burger I would pay extra to add another patty or just take the top bun off and have it like an open face sandwich. Burger comes with side salad or fries for an upcharge. Went with the salad and the dressing was very good. Will definitely give them another shot!

I had my baby shower at Seaside Social House, and I truly couldn’t have picked a better venue. The space is absolutely stunning and created the perfect backdrop for such a special day. From start to finish the owner, Rob, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely cared about making the day memorable. You can tell he puts his heart into this place, and it shows in every detail. Rob and his team made the entire process so smooth and stress-free. If you’re looking for a venue that’s not only gorgeous but run by someone who truly cares, Seaside Social House is it. I’m so grateful for the amazing experience we had there and would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat.

This restaurant serves high quality food. it’s is an open table place, so just seat as soon as you find one. They offered in-outdoor seating. Parking is on the street. Some servers def do a better job and will go the extra mile (my 2nd visit). The manager would def jump on it and help asap. It gets really busy at times and might take a few minutes for them to take your order, but the kitchen is really quick. 5 out of 6 dishes were a 10, the sprout was barely a 2, too dry. The bar is great and the place can accommodate a lot of people. It has a 2nd floor. The atmosphere is great until live music start blasting on your face and you can barely hear or talk. It’s a good places and would def recommend it. I will come back to bump this rate.

Great place to eat. Excellent menu, great selection of brews, really nice people. Owner/manager went out of his way to welcome folks and check in. Service was friendly and excellent. We checked out a number of places on the boardwalk and everyone pointed us a couple blocks over to this great place! Highly Recommended!

Serves at night was a bit rude. My husband only wanted 1 cube, and the girls didn't like that for some reason. We went back today and got 2 pies because we have different tastes. We sat at the bar coconut mojito was not that good. The pizza took over 40 mins to get, and we had to walk to the pizza area to grab it. The dough has to be pre-made. The cheese didn't even stick to dough. No flavor for a buffalo chicken. My husband got the ricotta one with hot honey and pepperoni. All I tasted was the honey. Pepperoni was not authentic it was those small roni's. Pictures will show you. Pictures say it all. Your bartender forgot then told us because of a party being there. Plenty of others got their food. This did not taste anything near high quality. Pizza on the boardwalk was better.... yes it was pizza fest but at the time we came there wasnt many people when we ordered. Yes a party up stairs but not to have to wait that long then be forgotten. The dough took over any taste that wasnt on the pizza. Buffalo pizza has buffalo flavor this did not you can see only the fake tasting chicken squares had some buffalo on it.

They were so great with my daughter that has a significant gluten allergy. He even brought out 3 different types of wraps for us to review the ingredients label. Went above and beyond. We liked it so much ate there twice in a 4 day trip, even among the numerous restaurant choices, we preferred to return here! Made my daughter a custom mango gingerale drink while she waited for them to prepare her food separately, and were able to turn any wrap on the menu into tacos with corn tortillas. Only place by the boardwalk she didnt feel restricted. Service and food were both outstanding 10/10 recommend!

Sunset Seafood Restaurant and Retail Market, located near Seaside Heights, NJ, is a delightful spot that combines a cozy atmosphere with stunning bay views. This charming eatery offers an impressive menu filled with fresh seafood options like lobster rolls, fish tacos, and shrimp parm. Whether you're in the mood for classic favorites such as fish and chips or unique dishes like Hawaiian blackened tuna, there's something to satisfy every palate.
My fiancée and I came here this weekend when we were in town. The restaurant smelt great as soon as you got to the door. Service was exceptionally quick, the atmosphere is very nice here being right by a marina with the view of the water. It is BYOB and they are accommodating with ice buckets to keep your canned/bottled drinks cold. The food came out very quickly and it was delicious. I ordered the crab cakes with potatoes and vegetables while my fiancée got a Caesar salad with the white/garlic sauce mussels. The crab cakes are different than MD style. It reminded me of a hush puppy style of crust, but it was full of lump crab. I enjoyed the different approach. The food was delicious at a fair price and we would certainly come back again.

The wait was too long for the quality of food. We waited an hour and a half for pasta and shrimp, there was definitely something off about the shrimp, and the pasta was mediocre. The food was not worth the price at all. Our waitress, Sam(I believe that was her name), was excellent, and attentive.

The Jersey clams special 100 for $49.99 is a scam!! I went in on Friday and asked the girl to show me the clams. She showed me the ones below the sign in the case which are good sized. I went back on Saturday to purchase and they gave me tiny little clams. Very disappointed. Do not do business with them!!

We ordered chicken wings which were served to us undercooked (which we discovered by biting into them). We informed our waitress which promised us a fresh plate of chicken wings. The owner brought us back a “new” plate which was our original plate of wings which was put back into the fryer (including the wings that were bitten into). The owner did not do anything except say “sorry” and go about socializing with friends and family. Poor service and a poor representation of ownership. I do not recommend.

All the food we had was excellent. Fresh, hot and very good. Eight people had all different types of entrées and salads. Everyone enjoyed it.Young servers did a job. Place should have a nice atmosphere once the weather warms up and the boat activity increases.

Had a truly great meal! I have been looking for a great Linguini and white clam sauce for years. And I have been disappointed in many restaurants. This place did not disappoint. The flavor was wonderful, loaded with garlic, loaded with clams, just the right amount of wine, pasta was al dente, the presentation was lovely! My friend had the halibut and it was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, great sauce, light and flaky. My other friend had the scampi, delicious, as well. The chef came out to check on our dinners, which was a wonderful touch. Even the warm buttered bread that came immediately after we sat down was great. A comment on the atmosphere, this is not a fancy restaurant. It reminds me of local restaurants in my childhood where the focus was on the quality of the food, which was great. You enter through the seafood market where you can see how fresh the seafood is. That's the character of this restaurant. Enjoy!

Safe to say it’s not worth it like at all Do not order the bang bang duo and do not expect it to taste like bang bang shrimp?? It was hot sauce on calamari and shrimp cutlet?? No where on the menu mentioned shrimp cutlet or hot sauce. Ate 4 bites of it and the waitress asked how it was, proceeded to let her know it was bad and way too hot and she said “that’s what makes it bang bang. well would u like me to take it away”. When I asked the manager if it was shrimp (didn’t taste or look like shrimp what so ever) he was extremely rude and asked if I wanted to see the menu. Neither the server or the manager provided any service about the food. Also proceeded to leave the barely eaten appetizer on the bill. I’ve worked in restaurants for years and if I ever saw a table give back a plate barely touching it, it would never stay on their bill. Ordered the lobster roll for entree and the lobster might’ve been poison. It was hard, not fresh, no butter, and might’ve been a lean cuisine meal. Also ordered a side of roasted potatoes not an ounce of seasoning on it ? How can potatoes be messed up? Lol. Again none of this meal was finished and the server didn’t think that was important. She didn’t come over to our table at all. 3 other tables were complaining about the service, food and the manager at the same time.

Nestled in the vibrant Seaside Park, NJ, Bum Rogers Crab House & Tavern is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxed dining experience by the beach. This charming roadhouse boasts an inviting atmosphere with live music every weekend and sports on TV, making it perfect for casual outings. The menu features a delightful array of American and seafood dishes that are expertly prepared, including fan-favorite crab cakes and prime rib that even non-seafood lovers rave about.
Amazing place. Best crab legs I’ve had in all of New Jersey. Fast service too. Live music was great and not overbearing so we could still have a conversation. We enjoyed our dinner and I’ll gladly come back.

Visited Bum Roger’s near Seaside Park and had a great overall experience. We started with a couple of old fashioned cocktails—decent, though not the best I’ve had. The service staff seemed a little overwhelmed at first, but once seated, we enjoyed some solid starters. The pretzels were excellent—soft and served with two tasty dips. The fried calamari was average, but the burrata with watermelon slices and prosciutto was fresh and definitely something I’d order again. For mains, I went with the lobster roll—fresh, tender chunks of lobster that made it worth the order. The pisser clams were outstanding, with just the right texture and flavor—never a disappointment. Overall, I’d give it a solid 3 out of 5 and will definitely be back.
Rob D — Google review
I’d have to say the Lobster bisque was pretty bad. bland, thick, almost cakey and void of lobster. Calamari, over cooked to a chewy texture. Their saving dish was the (Ipswich clams) soft shell steamers though.

We wanted a casual place after coming in from the Sun and surf all day. We didn't want to have to dress up, & we wanted to unwind laugh and have a good time . This was the perfect place. It had a live band, great food and drinks - from unsweetened iced tea to something called a Painkiller. They even did a great job of surprising me with birthday greetings... Not at all embarrassing🥳. A great time was had by all! We will make this spot our go to place when down this way again.

The food and service here wasn't bad. We here here in a large group, 9+ around 12:30 pm. I had the Clam in white sauce linguini pasta. It was great with the chopped clam on top. My wife however got the Prime rib and it was the better option. They don't seem to skim on the quantity here. The staff was courteous and helpful. They attended to our needs and got the help we wanted. Overall not bad if you are around the area. (As a person of color, it might look suspicious walking around the neighborhood)

We went for happy hour. They have great specials, clams were amazing- get the wine/garlic ones. The calamari was enough for 4 people to share. We love coming for Bum Rogers , even during the Off-Season. They also have great live music.

My friends and I stopped here for dinner. Dreaming of the old days of our times at Bum Rodgers of our youth. We had fried Calamari for an appetizer. It was very chewy. I also had a cup of lobster bisque . That was Delicious.i usually don't order fried food, but I was in the mood. I had the fried fish combo. Shrimp, scallops, and flounder. My one friend had the fried flounder, and my other friend had the coconut shrimp. They were all only ok. Maybe they were over fried. I would try them again, be nothing fried next time. They had a live band playing, too.

Was at Spicys on Friday night for Tommy Walker our bartender Mary was great. She had a full bar and was very busy but made time to chat and laugh with us. Went back on Saturday for a drink after going to the fair and she remembered us and our drinks. Mary is great look forward to seeing her next time we're down that way.

I want to start by saying that the service from the waitress was amazing. She was attentive and polite. This is one of the only reasons for giving them any stars. The outdoor seating are is nice as well because the views are pleasant and the breeze was nice. However the food served at this establishment is at best very average. I ordered the chicken al pastor tacos and I found them to be dry and under seasoned. This dish is typically served with juicy marinated chicken. This was not the case at the Spicy Cantina. My daughter had the shrimp tacos and she stated that they were not that good. Coming from a hungry teenager that usually never complains was concerning. My son did enjoy his spicy chicken wings at least. One of the worst parts of the experience was the water I was served. I'm guessing they get it from the water machine. The water tasted straight up like old plastic. I had my husband taste it and he said it was probably due to them not cleaning the machine correctly. I told the waitress about it and she was very graceful and apologetic. Oh and the margherita flight was definitely made with cheap liquor. It gave me a headache and I it was basically cheap tequila with lots of flavored syrup. No real balance was noted in the mixture. No salt or sugar rim. In the end and $120 dollars later I was left unsatisfied and disappointed. I probably would have been better off getting food from the boardwalk. Trust me I don't like writing these types of reviews but I think you should know these things before you go to this establishment.

Friends and tons of amazing reviews pointed us to Bobber’s for breakfast this am. It’s only open now on weekends and closes at noon. First, nicest people. Jessica was our server. She was a ray of sunshine and very helpful. Hot coffee in your own carafe...never runs out! :-) They are known for their potatoes. Crispy and tender, perfectly seasoned. Omelettes are huge. My husband got steak and eggs. Cooked perfectly and a generous serving of steak. I ordered eggs and corned beef hash extra crispy. Was sooo good! And let’s talk about prices!!! So cheap!!! Go to Bobber’s and recommend it to your friends. And say “hi” to Jessica for us.

Hemingway's Cafe is a vibrant American eatery located on Boulevard in Seaside Heights, NJ. It offers a diverse menu featuring steaks, sushi, BBQ ribs, and shrimp tempura sushi rolls. The cafe transforms into a lively nightlife spot with billiards, darts, live music, and local DJs. After dinner hours, the space turns into one of the largest dance floors in the area.
We moved to Seaside Heights in September 2024, although we have only been to Hemingway's for drinks during a couple of events. Tonight we went to eat there for our first time and both my wife and I ordered only off the specials menu. Their Lobster Bisque is to die for. There is tons of lobster meat and very tasty (no salt or pepper needed at all). My wife got the Halibut special with fresh asparagus and risotto, and it was delicious. I got the hanger steak with broccolini and garlic mashed potatoes with garlic herb butter. Everything was flavorful, although the steak was a little undercooked, which is my own fault for not sending it back to cook a little more. Service was great, and our waitress was very friendly, never leaving us waiting for anything at any point. They had live music, which was an added bonus. We will definitely be back to try their main menu and enjoy the atmosphere again.
Craig T — Google review
The food tastes good, although deep-fried items are a bit over fried and hard, and the roasted potatoes are a bit undercooked. The service is good, although I never understood this "trying to take the plate away the same time asking the customer are you still working on it when they are still eating from the plate"(please, don't do that.) The environment and the atmosphere are fine, although this time there was live singing, TVs with different games in, billiards, bars, and a bartender with piercing voice, so it's kind of noisy. The main drawback is the price, it's overpriced (maybe like most restaurants nowadays), and they transfer the surcharge to customers if using credit cards -- fine prints on the bill, but they don't bother to tell you. So please pay attention to check the bill, otherwise one can be paying gratuity over tax + fee.

Stopped in to hear the band on a Sunday, summer afternoon and stayed for dinner. Started with an amazing bowl of their special lobster bisque, loaded with morsels of fresh lobster in a delightful and velvety bisque. We went on to have a chicken ceasar salad and a crisp, cold and fresh wedge salad, topped with bacon and homemade blue cheese dressing that was over the top. Hats off to the bar staff here for switching their TV’s to the USA-Mexico Gold Cup final. This may seem like a little thing but I can’t tell you how many times I have been to a bar or sports bar and you get ignored for asking to put a big game on. The bartenders were very busy at the time but still were able to take care of a simple request, that alone got you five stars !!

Hemingway's Cafe, is more then a cafe. It was eatery, bar, dance hall, sports bar, and private hall. Ambiance wise it spot on. A dark music enriched place to eat with family and friends. The staff were present and attentive. The food was great and filling. Later in the night a DJ/live music takes the stage by the dance area and the place changes. I recommend you bring your friends.

This place really went downhill. We've been coming here for many years, but we won't be back. It used to have decent food, a family friendly atmosphere and a full wait staff, even during the pandemic. Now you're lucky if they have a server, which means you get food from the bartender. A lot of menu options are gone, like some fresh seafood. They had live bands and might still have them, but recently they were blasting loud club music early in the day. The restrooms are absolutely disgusting. I had to take my special needs son into the mens room with one tiny stall, and it was filthy, with feces on the floor. This place is a dirty watering hole. That's about it. Skip it if you're with the family. Just skip it period.
R J — Google review
I stopped in because I remember this place was featured on the original MTV show The Jersey Shore. As with most Jersey Shore eateries I have tried in the past, I didn't have very high expectations on the service and food here. When I walked in, the bartender gave a nice greeting and indicated I needed to sit at the bar or outdoors since they were short staffed and didn't have any servers working at that time. I ordered a couple of cocktails and the Grilled Chicken Panini. The drinks were good and sweet, but it seemed like they weren't strong enough, like they were lacking alcohol. The panini was just ok. First, the bread wasn't pressed like a traditional panini. Second, the sandwich was just plain grilled chicken, large pieces of lettuce, peppers, and pesto on the side. But overall, the chicken wasn't dry, and the pesto gave the sandwich some taste. The bar has a fun atmosphere, and they have a lot of TVs. They have an interesting, reasonable priced menu, which includes sushi. Since the bartender was so nice and friendly and I like the vibe of this place, I would stop in again on one of my next trips down to Seaside Heights to grab a drink or two.

I had 1 corona and 1 Tito’s shot. It was my last night on vacation in seaside. I only went for 2 nights. I was there & left to go get a T-shirt. When I was there the first time I bought 1 drank and just sat down on the roof top. When I got back about an hour later I was told that I was being trespassed based of his discretion. This guy had no reason to do that other than being on a power trip. I spent money there with my son earlier in the day and at night. I wasn’t causing a disturbance nor was I to “drunk”. I told him I was the legal limit to drive which I was. He was being aggressive with me and loved how I wasn’t allowed to come in because he said so. He said even if you go to the cops and say something to them they’ll still tell you you have to leave. They have no say over who comes in and leaves I do. The cops came over because he called them over. I said to them like why are they doing that. They kept saying they can trespass whoever they want like it’s a regular thing. They were nice and respectful unlike the security guard. The security guard isn’t all that too if I was actually the drunk he claimed and he was aggressive like that he would’ve got pepper sprayed arrested or not I wouldn’t have cared. That guys lucky I was actually sober. Even in the case I was overly intoxicated you do not go about it that way. Drunk people can turn volatile quick so why are you being aggressive. I was not a threat to him or any ones safety. All his little security guard friends who he was trying to impress need more training or to be replaced. There not securing anything besides there egos. No grown man who works at a professional establishment should be getting aggressive and confrontational for no reason. I wasn’t resistant in leaving even though it was unprovoked. He was aggressive in tone hoping it would escalate and I’d do something to get myself in trouble. Do better with who you guys hire it’s a nice place.

The Beachcomber is the best and has been a real staple of the Seaside boardwalk. The food has always been excellent, and the overall bar itself has an outdoor deck, indoor seating, and a stage. Really great energy and is perfect for any occasion. Last time I was visiting I ended up dining there 5 times! The drinks are cold the food is delicious and the bartenders have always been upbeat and friendly. I'll be back when I'm back in town!

The female bartender on the second floor was kind but the drink was horrible, the place is disgusting I think I’d rather piss out in the middle of the road than use their bathrooms. And please for the love of god GET A NEW DJ. I could live with everything else but horrible music (mind you Christmas music in the middle of July???) absolutely not I heard them playing don’t want a lot for Christmas from the bathroom and just immediately walked out and left and went to spicys. Don’t waste your money here seriously.

Convenient and unassuming breakfast spot right off the boardwalk. We were seated promptly, our food was delivered quickly, and the staff were all very friendly. We ordered French toast, eggs, and an omelette and were both pleased with our meals, though the French toast was a bit underwhelming taste wise. That said the price point was very reasonable, and all the menu items coming out of the kitchen looked tasty. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick sit down bite in Seaside Heights.

Jimmy's not only has good food and good prices, but everyone including the owner are very friendly and personable. We just went again last weekend now that they are open for the season again, and they didnt disappoint. Their pork roll eggand cheese sandwich was awesome, as was the western omelet with cheese, potatoes, and French toast. Im very thankful they are a 2 mi ute walk from our house as we will be there often throughout the summer. I do want to note that theybare only open until 1pm and theybare cash only (although they have an ATM machine onsite)

We dropped by Jimmy's on a Sunday morning of a long weekend, and the place was packed. The tables turned quickly and we managed to get a table in about 10 minutes. The place was bustling with energy, with servers jetting in and out of the kitchen at a furious pace at all times. In spite of all of that busyness, our server was amazingly hospitable, providing excellent service with a smile on her face. The food was also great, from the omelettes to the pancakes. All in all, we got great food with excellent service at very reasonable prices, and had a great time. Highly recommend!

The restaurant is known for its mouthwatering cheesesteaks with peppers and onions as well as their famous cheese balls. So after 8 years of coming with my husband to seaside on the off season we FINALLY got a chance to try the food here. I have gotta say it was worth it! The men who were working were wonderful and got our food to us very fast and the place smelled very clean. For the food we ordered we didnt pay much more than we would have at home. It was definitely worth going!!!

Just the best! We come at least twice a year and every time it's the same, perfect! The original venue, which if you are looking from the boardwalk side, is on the left (two are right next to each other). We got the cheesesteaks with peppers and onions and of course the cheese balls. Some people like the Seaside Tony because they get cheese balls inside. You can't go wrong, but I typically like to put the cheese balls on myself in every bite, personal preference. Love the atmosphere for sure, but I also like the option to take my food to the beach picnic style on a nice day (this year it was cold). Huge fan of this place and I give it a top rating of 4.7 out of 5, a New Jersey must visit!

Been here multiple times as been loyal to this place. Last couple of times has disappointing as steak sandwich lacked flavor. Will try competitors.

This place is amazing!!! Showed up at midnight bc all good on boardwalk closed while we were in the arcade. They served us with happy smiles. The bar serves signature cocktails and Maruca's famous tomato pies for those seeking cool drinks and cool times.
Went here because our family took us here who live near by the board walk. Good place to eat! The Philly cheese steaks were phenomenal! I got the buffalo chicken cheese steaks and it was damn good! Couldn’t even tell it was chicken. Our waitress didn’t get around to us as much for us having a big party it was also fairly slow when we went. But overall good experience and great food.

Be sure to ask for Collen. Place is a great shore bar with excellent pizza. The music is fantastic, 70’s rock! Everyone very friendly. Be sure to get the cheese steak egg rolls and 24 inch pie. It’s connected to Marucas’s Pizza. Been there since 1950!

Great Saturday afternoon meeting extend family and friends for early light dinner.. food was good and had live music.. expected to be busier but a few empty tables meant faster delivery from nice server.

We have been going to JR's at Easter for more than a decade, and it NEVER disappoints. The Marucca's pies are fabulous, the mixed drinks are good, and the beer, of course, is great. Even better, the service is fantastic! The bartender has a smile for everyone and is both attentive and helpful. The waitstaff is equally great. They are thoughtful and always in great humor. Go to JR's - it is totally worth it.

Don't sleep on the best pizza I've ever had. While on a weekend day trip our friends suggested we stop by JR's on the boardwalk. So glad we did. JR's serves up pizza from Maruca's if you prefer a sit down meal. The pizza crust is crisp but chewy like any good NY Style pizza. The sauce is sweet and slightly chunky. They pair together perfectly to make an absolutely delicious tomato pie. We also sampled the Buffalo chicken and Philly cheesesteak hoagies. Both were hearty sandwiches with plenty of flavorful meat and veggies that were cooked well done without being overdone.

Not the same without Dee here - was the whole reason for visiting on Fridays and Sundays. Will miss seeing her, Chris, and Dawn on Sundays.

This is the place you expect when you come to the Jersey shore. Great cheese steak sandwich (not pictured) and a killer pizza. The service was fast and courteous. I don't think they suspect I was from out of town and they took care of everything. I only wish I had a bigger stomach to eat more here.

"2.50 Bud / Bud Light Drafts all day EVERY DAY!" screamed the advertisement. Walked in on a hot Saturday afternoon..... "Sorry, draft system is down.". 20 taps shut. I don't believe there is anything mechanical that can go wrong, other than CO2 gas running out. 5.00 a bottle for same 2 beers mentioned above. Classic bait and switch.

Incredible food. Everything I’ve had here has been outstanding. Prices are very reasonable with the giant portions you get. Vodka sauce is incredible, Stromboli is huge. Chicken parm is great. Homemade wraps are HUGE.

Mia's was recommended by a friend and hands down the best spot for dinner after a day on the beach. Alexis, our waitress, was amazing! Great personality and knew the food. We tried something different and were very pleased with our orders. We would definitely come back!
Kris M — Google review
I would normally give this place 5 stars across the board but, my family and I have been pretty disappointed with the portions they’ve been serving lately. Every Wednesday my families “splurge” meal are two Mia’s pizzas and an order of their chicken tenders with fries. On their menu it states you get 3 tenders as well as a side of fries but, the last few times we have ordered their chicken tenders they have barely given us 3. We have gotten 2 with basically a piece of chicken tender included in there to make a “third.” Being how often we order from Mia’s we have been very disappointed. Their pizza is still incredible though!

We came back from the seaside, just passing by. We were very surprised and popular here. You can hardly see anyone outside the town, but it's hard to find a seat in this restaurant because it's so popular that many people are ordering. This is the first time for our family to eat independently in an American restaurant, and it is very meaningful. It's delicious. I'll come again next time.

We are spending the weekend in seaside for a cheer comp and just had the absolute best burgers ever here! Service was fantastic and we felt so welcomed with a friendly “hello!” When we walked in! We are spending a week here in the summer and we will DEFINITELY be back!!!!!

Possibly the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. We were looking forward to a nice Father’s Day dinner. While our server was very nice, most of the food here was inedible. My husband ordered the ribs which came out burnt and hard as a rock. My kids both got burgers which were pretty much the same, and so thin that it couldn’t even be called a burger, with a huge, dry roll instead of a bun. The server took one look when I told her and apologized, agreed with us and took those three items right off the bill. My lobster roll, while edible, was probably the worst I’ve ever had. The kids pasta was absolute mush. The crab dip was so thick and hard that it was impossible to actually dip the chips in it. Disappointing because the taste of that was actually decent. The mussels were the only thing we were happy with. Like what happened here? I’ve never been to a place where everything has been this bad. We didn’t finish anything except the lobster roll. I was told by the server that they just opened the upstairs this year and it’s the same kitchen for upstairs and downstairs. Seems like they’ve gone for quantity over quality in this case. We left with my husband and kids still hungry, but couldn’t go anywhere else to eat because it was late and we still wasted $88 for everything else. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Tanya M — Google review
Awesome bar with a cool vibe and solid drinks. The staff and owner is friendly and the atmosphere feels relaxed but still lively. Upstairs is a lobster restaurant that’s seriously impressive—fresh, flavorful seafood that hits the spot. Perfect combo for a night out. Definitely worth checking out!
John P — Google review
Stopped at The Jersey Roll for a beer and maybe a bite, but as soon as I looked up at the ceiling tiles, I thought I was in a crime scene investigation. The place was empty and the vibe screamed “1985 never left.” Ended up just getting a beer, didn’t trust the kitchen after seeing the décor. Oh, and the men’s bathroom? The stall door was literally taped to the wall with electrical tape. Pretty sure nobody is doing maintenance here. This place could really use a remodel or maybe just a bulldozer.
Peter V — Google review
Was very pleasantly surprised by how good their food and drinks were! This place is right on the boardwalk and great for people watching. Most of their tables are high tops or seating at the bar. The food was delicious and the plating is great! We went for a bingo brunch, but really enjoyed ourselves all the way around. They have a really nice drink menu too! And the staff is great! I got the wedge salad and the dressing was so good! I also tried the blueberry smash drink. Very good ☺️

This place is our go-to breakfast spot on the boardwalk. Food’s always hot and tasty, and the people there are super chill. My boys and I stop by every time we’re around, and it always hits the spot. You can’t go wrong with the bacon, egg & cheese or the pancakes. Prices are fair, and the vibes are good. If you’re on the boardwalk and hungry in the morning, this is the spot to check out.

Gigi's Restaurant, located in Ortley, offers a variety of Italian classics such as spaghetti and meatballs and delicious brick oven pizzas. In addition to Italian cuisine, they also serve steak and seafood options. The restaurant has received positive feedback from patrons who enjoyed the meatballs and different pizza varieties. Customers have praised the great flavors, friendly customer service, and pleasant patio atmosphere. Despite being understaffed during their visit, the wait staff was described as very friendly and attentive.
My family and I loved this place. My recs - definitely get the meatballs and pizza. We all got different ones and loved each of them. They do go a little heavy on the pizza cheese so if you prefer less then I’d specify that. Sauce was bomb. Great flavors, great customer service, very friendly, great patio atmosphere. We’ll definitely come back, thank you! Edit - came here a second time a year later and had just as great an experience! Wait staff is so lovely

If you're searching for the perfect spot to enjoy a hearty, satisfying meal, look no further than this GiGis a BYOB in Seaside/ Ortly. The service here is great. The staff strikes the ideal balance between attentiveness and discretion, ensuring your glass is never empty and your needs are always met without feeling rushed. They’re knowledgeable about the menu and eager to recommend pairings or specialty drinks that elevate your experience. The food? GREAT. From appetizers to desserts you won't be disappointed. The restaurant is located inside a house so it is not your typical restaurant. The atmosphere could use some work. There's very little artwork adorning the walls, the tables and chairs are not uniform. Feels like you sitting at a backyard party at your uncle's house. Take the time to dine here. You won't be disappointed.

We stopped in to try this place - they seemed annoyed we didn’t have a reservation but seated us. The food was good - overpriced but honestly everything is during summer. But it was better than other meals we had nearby that were similarly priced. We had an appetizer, two entrees and dessert for $100. It’s a BYOB which I’d recommend bringing because it was impossible to get a refill on water. Overall for a “real” meal I’d recommend it but would make a reservation and have patience for service.

Food was horrible and very over priced. I ordered rigatoni bolognese which tasted like store boxed pasta, table spoon of chop meat and tea spoon of ricotta cheese that actually tasted like sour cream. Awful. Rest of my party felt same way. The service was good, but it didn't negate terrible food. This is a money grab for tourists.

We watched all Spring as they put the finishing touches on the restaurant in anticipation of the grand opening. We were excited to try the charcoal pizza that was teased on their social media channels. We arrived for our dinner reservation and were promptly seated. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive despite being understaffed (the owner explained to us how difficult it has been to find staff since restaurants have begun to reopen). We ordered the black and white bianco charcoal pizza in addition to the meatball app and our entrees. The food was delicious and flavorful. One of the owners took the time to come over to our table and introduce himself and engage in pleasant conversation. We will definitely be back as this was a top notch experience from top to bottom. And remember to BYOB!

Breakin Bread on the Boulevard is a hidden gem in Seaside, offering superb service and a small but impressive menu. The staff is friendly and passionate about the food, providing fast and efficient service. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating with heaters for cooler nights. Guests can bring their own alcohol, and complimentary charcuterie is provided when seated. The menu may seem small at first, but there are plenty of specials to choose from.
Breaking Bread is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Seaside Heights — the kind of place you might stroll past without realizing the magic happening inside. We were a party of eight and were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that set the tone for the entire evening. Every dish, from the very first appetizer to the final bite of dessert, was nothing short of exceptional — thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. But what truly sets Breaking Bread apart are its owners. Their passion for both food and people shines through in every detail, making you feel less like a customer and more like a welcomed guest in their home!

Overall we definitely recommend and will be eating here again. Yesterday was our first meal at Breakin Bread. It is BYOB and they have indoor/ outdoor seating, plus they take reservations. The staff was very friendly and overall jubilant- you could tell they were excited and passionate about the food and restaurant. Very clean. Nice simple menu. Service was fast and efficient. Dinners came with a side of pasta. Dessert was good (a little on the expensive side. Only criticism was that my mom ordered the veal special and it was +$60 so I would definitely recommend asking for pricing on specials (our fault- not theirs! was just surprised when we got the bill). Great addition to the jersey shore and will definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic old school vibe with today's flair. Food is unbelievable. Its a shore town crowded and festive. Some of reviews here which are not 5 star are from Karen's and Chad's that should stay home. This a small family business with whole family breaking their butts in addition to the bread. We should appreciate this establishment as it's not part of a conglomerate hospitality group. They are warm inviting and hospitable. Eggplant dish halibut zucchini flowers new Zealand mussels all amazing and culinary. Ice box cake made way my grandma made! Place is a must!

With live music filling the air from Wednesday to Sunday during the summer and fall, it’s an ideal spot for those looking to soak in vibrant vibes while savoring American and Mediterranean dishes.
I just wanna say, the B2 bistro in Bayville is an amazing place! We had our wedding reception there last weekend, 5/25/25. Sam and the banquet crew were phenomenal! As was Jim! We also took pictures before the reception next to the water, where you are able to have your wedding. I want the traditional church wedding so we only took photos there. Everything was set up perfectly! The food was phenomenal. After our reception, some of us decided to go out onto the deck/bar area and listen to the music. The service there was top-notch as well! I had my wedding a week ago at b2 and I have to say it was the best decision I ever made when picking a location for my wedding .the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were all in one location. The best selling point to the package was the bridal sweet that's right on the property.1 large room with mirrors and chairs to do hair and makeup a kitchen area with a table and a lounge area with chairs and couches and a large bathroom for all the girls to get ready in . Sam who was our matre D, turned our wedding vision into a reality.she blew our expectations away with how she decorated not only the reception but the whole property very clean cut and elegant was the feed back from every person , everyone loved the way she decorated our wedding. She also made us feel right at how and was there for us every step of the way . The food for the cocktail hour and reception had nothing but excellent feedback from our guests . The short ribs and the skirt steak kabobs with feta and pasta station were a few of the favorites as well as everything else. The wait staff and bartenders also did an amazing job in which everyone had nothing but nice things to say about them . All in all it was an A+++ my best decision I made to create memories that will last a lifetime and I have to thank Sam and B2 for making it all possible.

What an outstanding find! They have boat parking, you tie up to a buoy and they come collect you with their pontoon. They have a pool you can relax by as they bring you cocktails! There is a $10 fee per person they don’t tell you about though. The drinks were above average, the food was good as well, a little pricey but for the location seemed fine. So many food options, we had some sandwiches and spicy peel-and-eat shrimp. Very fun stop!

First time ever, I visited this place with a friend from out of state as well as the first time I ate a lobster roll and some big 'ol crab legs. We ordered the one that was warm with butter, and it was delicious! Being new to crab legs as well, this was a whole different flavor field. (You would think all these years in Jersey, I'd be more into seafood, lol) I enjoyed the whole experience. My friend ordered the Manhattan clam chowder, and he said it was delicious. I tasted the chowder part, and it was tasty, but I wasn't taking in clams and lobster on the same day. 😭 baby steps. The two females that worked there were super nice and loquacuous. Very very friendly. Place is small. Would definitely try again.

Found an ad for this place on Reddit of all places, back when it was located on Fischer Blvd I guess, but wanted a close by Lobster Roll place so gave it a shot. Overall, the food was delicious, but felt like the lobster rolls could be a bit.. more. I get that it's lobster and lobster is pricey, the rolls were well stuff, but they're basically hotdog buns. I feel like I've always had better buns to hold lobster rolls, toasted a bit and buttered for Connecticut rolls, they just felt a bit small I suppose. The chicken fritters were great, a lot for your money, the slaw and beans with the lobster rolls are just ok. The fries are also great, and out key lime pie was delicious. The place looks great, parking and seating were no issues, music might be a touch loud, but atmosphere is very fitting. Overall, it was a great visit, a little bit let down that the lobster rolls weren't a bit more "Wow", but was still good. For the app, 2 lobster rolls, and dessert, plus tip, hundred bucks. A good place to scratch that itch for sure.

We ordered a salmon avocado roll, lobster Rangoon, and two Connecticut-style warm lobster rolls — everything was incredibly fresh! The bread was soft & fresh, the fries were crispy, and the lobster was tender and flavorful. The highlight, though, was the amazing service. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be coming back to Mystic Lobster!

A restaurant that is centered around lobster ran out of lobster! How does that happen? It's understandable for things to happen from time to time, but to run out of the main item that customers come in for, and during dinner hours, is just unacceptable and poor planning. Do better next time so your customers are not inconvenienced when they choose to come to your restaurant...

First time ever getting a lobster roll. The owners were very friendly. A family and I mean a whole family operation which is nice to see. Just renovated inside and has a very nice layout. Prices for being on the Island are basically what I thought it would be. You do get a quite a lot of food for what you pay for. Lobster Roll was delicious, for my first one I was very pleased.

I was so excited to finally try this place. I stopped there after the beach with my daughter. We had a Maine lobster roll and a Connecticut lobster roll. Both were delicious but I thought way overpriced. $25 for the lobster roll, french fries that were not even close to good and two little containers of coleslaw. I would rather spend a little bit less money and just have the lobster roll by itself. We also ordered the lobster bisque and it was delicious but $70 for two lobster rolls, inedible fries and a soup was a little disappointing. The girl at the register was very friendly though.

So I come in to this restaurant and they are slammed. It’s the Jersey shore during summer, I get it. I was seated within 15 mins and it was 100% worth the wait. Everything was awesome. I’m from Ct, we made the lobster roll, so naturally, I ordered the Connecticut lobster roll and for an appetizer I got fried oyster deviled eggs, And let me tell you everything was amazing! My server was awesome. Environment was great. It felt like I stepped into a New England store. It was 100% exactly what I expected from a lobster shop in Connecticut but on the Jersey shore. I’d have to recommend this place 100% 10 out of 10 it’s amazing.

Drifters of Seaside is a new seafood restaurant and bar located on the Boulevard in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. The venue offers a casual indoor/outdoor space with a beachy vibe, making it perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather. The menu features small plates, raw bar selections, and signature cocktails.
We had dinner here last night and it was a very enjoyable experience. The restaurant itself must be new and it has a nice vibe about it with good music. The indoor area has a small bar and outside there is a large seating area made up of picnic tables in the sand. There's a bar out there too. The guy singing and playing the guitar on their small stage was very talented. My poke bowl was great. I'd definitely come back here again!

Thankfully we got a table as walk ins, but the place was pretty busy. It’s a very beach vibe and the menu reflects all of the summer favorites. We got the Korean wings and avocado fries for starters. The wings were good, but I would pass on the avocado fries. I decided to take a chance and go for the tuna bowl. To my surprise, the tuna was delicious. The rice was cooked perfectly and it filled me up. My boyfriend got the double burger and he could barely finish it. His only commentary was that the waffle fries were trash.

Great place to hang out, eat drink and play cornhole! Clay did a great job as our server and the drinks were on point. The food not only looked amazing but tasted great as well! Definitely worth a visit.

A new seafood restaurant & bar located on the Boulevard in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. Drifters offers a variety of small plate options as well as raw bar selections and signature cocktails. We ate indoors which had a nice lively atmosphere. There is also seating in the bar area with seating at the bar itself and a few high top tables. For my next visit I will sit in the large beach-like outdoor setting complete with an old Volkswagen Bus serving as the outdoor bar. Fun spot for couples or families.......Enjoy!

Stopped by drifters midweek for dinner and drinks. The watermelon cocktail was made with fresh ingredients and was delicious! The bartender Lindsay was so kind and provided detailed recommendations of not only the cocktails but the food menu too. Who doesn’t love staff that gives honest feedback to questions?! I ordered the barrel burger and it was so good. Definitely not your average burger at the bar, it actually had flavor. I can’t wait to go back and try out this shrimp dish that’s served in a pineapple. Will definitely be back!

Great new spot with great cocktails and awesome food. Having the huge outside area with sand was a great idea and gives the place a great atmosphere to hang and eat and drink. We had the calamari, tuna tacos, pineapple chicken, and the lobster corn dogs. All were great but would definitely say the lobster corn dogs, pineapple chicken, and tuna tacos are must haves.

Ordered calamari, ahi tuna tacos, lobster corn dogs, oysters, and Mexican street corn. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The cocktails were amazing! The decor was beautiful and service was excellent. For a Seaside Heights restaurant, it's probably the best you can get!

It seems like a good idea but not enough food choices and limited drinks options. The sand deck area is pretty cool but someone’s flip flops showered us and our food with sand, moving on to another place soon.

Usually excellent food, but tonight all food was way over salty and way too greasy. Very hard to eat. Quality control and consistency is what it’s all about. This time, a great take out failed.

Service quality delivery time driver himself who's been delivering I think 11 years that I know of is such a pleasure to see. Great tasting great portioned and prices.... Well anyone knows $22 or less for 2 is a very fair price considering delivery fees also include that price. Way to go lead foot!!! I've lived in Ortley Beach for 30 years. Golden gate gets all the attention but this place blows it out of the water and gets the little things right. Reasonably priced and super nice family that own it. Best Chinese food on the island. A+ Update 2023- Still the best Chinese food on the island!

Everything taste fresh. We ordered the day before for the first time and it was amazing. We decided to order again tonight. It was 4 minutes before the kitchen closes and we didn’t think they would take the order. They did anyways with no problem or attitude. (Hard to find Some businesses That are actually down to work) needless to say we picked it up and everything was delicious. My girlfriend and I are eating it right now, we literally had to stop eating to write this review. If you’re looking for Chinese food, this is your PLACE TO GO. Will be back again. - Daniel & jaidyn

Great chinese. Family run. I always give some business here whether I'm in the mood or not. Solid place that got me through the Sandy recovery. It's nice to have a place like this so close and integrated into our community (for my family, it's going on 70 years.) Go here and get something and make sure that they won't go belly up (like the pizza place next door) so they'll always be around.

Nestled above the former Aztec Bar on the Boardwalk, The Lobster Lounge is a charming spot that beckons seafood lovers with its mouthwatering lobster rolls and fresh seafood platters. This inviting eatery not only serves up delicious clam chowder brimming with clams but also offers breathtaking ocean views from its second-floor deck. Guests rave about the attentive service, as staff members are quick to accommodate requests, ensuring a delightful dining experience even when time is of the essence.
FYI: 3% discount if you pay in CASH!!!! No complaints here. Great food, welcoming attitudes, relaxing, rooftop lounge at the heart of the boardwalk. It’s our last day and I’m sad to say bye to this view. Chuck was so sweet, and Joey was very cool as well. It was great having no kids but they would love it, just for the view alone. Had dinner and breakfast. Both experiences were delicious. Definitely will be back on our next trip out here.

First time at The Lobster Lounge, and it didn't disappoint. The bartender, Gabby, was friendly and great. The drinks were made perfectly (Gin and Tonic and Titos Espresso Martini). For appetizers, we both ordered the lobster bisque, which was amazing, as was the clams casino. The crab cakes and lobster ravioli were noticeably fresh and loaded with crab and lobster meat accordingly. We will definitely be back to try other menu items once Summer is in full swing and they have their full menu available.
Craig T — Google review
I like the atmosphere and the outdoor view. My server was very attentive and friendly which make the food experience more enjoyable. The oyster and clams was fresh but the they should rinse them out a little better because they were gritty and some was still a little dirty. The NY steak was very juicy and I love their steak butter! It is really delicious, their lobster bisque was tasty as well. Would come back and the price is fair for a restaurant right on the boardwalk!
Linh L — Google review
Great location with broad windows overlooking the ocean and ride pier directly on seaside heights boardwalk. Staff is very personable and friendly. The chef even came out and asked how everything was. The manager was very accommodating and friendly as well. Our bartender/server Gabby was great ❤️ Now the food, was nothing of what I was expecting. It was top shelf cookery. We ordered the lobster bisque soup, clams casino, crab cakes and lobster ravioli. Everything was prepared with exquisite care. Bisque was creamy and full of lobster with no fishy aftertaste, with a mildly sweet undertone. Crab cakes were perfect, not breaded just straight forward crab cake crisped the way it should be. Lobster ravioli was surprisingly flavorful with a truffle sauce. Enough sauce to last to the last drop. I was even able to add it atop my baked potato. Clams casino was great as well. Everything we ate was bursting with flavor. Straight down the the tito espresso martini with 3 coffee bean. We thought we were going in for a burger experience and found ourselves enveloped by 4 star cuisine. Yes would highly recommend, can't wait for the season to start to try the full menu. We will be making this a regular spot for dining.

The Food was delicious, came out super quick and was steaming hot. Sangria was really good! We sat outside and was even able to watch the fireworks rite from the rooftop. Kristin was our server and she was fantastic. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will be back for sure!

I was skeptical. Wow was I surprised. This a fantastic restaurant. I grew up in the area and was back to visit family. This place is charming and the food was delicious. Seriously the best lobster bisque I have ever had. Unreal. The lobster claw was as big as my hand. ❤️ All around A+ and we can’t wait to return on my next visit from Florida with the rest of my family. Thank you!

3 Brothers Pizza & Restaurant is a relaxed strip-mall eatery in Cookstown, NJ that has been serving the local area and active-duty military for over 40 years. Their NY-style pies, hoagies, and classic Italian platters are well-known and highly regarded. The establishment prides itself on its great sauce and REAL cheese, while the dough is said to be absolutely delicious. Patrons can enjoy their pizza classic style by folding it over.
Every time we go to Great Adventure, we would make stop at this pizza joint. The deco has a ton of air force pictures with lots of history that speaks to the town. My family (including my picky child) loves the pasta here - which also comes with either a side salad OR garlic bread. Price is reasonable with good portions. I had the garlic and mushrooms pasta while another member had the with linguine with ground up Italian sausage. Kiddo had the child size spaghetti with meatball. We finished EVERYTHING! Will definitely return.

This pizza was awesome! Glad McGuire AFB and the surrounding area has an excellent pizza to go to. The prices are reasonable and the quality is there. The inside of this place is simply your classic pizza joint setup with some cool photos and memorabilia to look at. Dining in will give you a glimpse (for the new gen) or a flashback (for us old folk) of the simple life from the 80s and 90s. Highly recommend! P.s. Absolutely horrible. We ordered a large Margherita pie and a salad and we were disappointed before the food even arrived! On the phone, the guy was rude and seemed annoyed. He told us 30-45 minutes for our delivery (which was just a few minutes away from the pizza place) and it was a hour and a half by the time our food arrived. They called us at the 45 minute mark to say they forgot chicken in our salad, but to expedite he process we told them we didn't care just deliver please. He reassured us they were only 15 mins away, up the road they would be there soon since the food was already in route. After a hour of waiting, we called them back and asked the guy for an ETA as we had been waiting for so long. He was very arrogant and nasty when we said we would cancel the order if it didn't arrive soon as we had to head out. He said "oh stop and just eat it when it gets there". We were taken back but just ignored him and figured we would be willing to take a loss if the food didn't arrive in the next half and hour. Finally, after an hour and a half, the pizza arrived. We asked the delivery guy what happendd and why it took so long, and he said he didn't know he agreed it was way too long for just a salad and pizza. We opened the salad- it was soaked in dressing and the lettuce was all brow and soggy. I ended up throwing it out. We then opened the pizza, it was cold and for a Margherita pizza had no basil and random slices of cheese and tomatoes. It was disgusting. We ended up tasting a bite and it was horrible. We asked the group of young kids playing basket ball if they wanted the pie because we wouldn't even consider taking a bite into ice cold, nasty pizza that wasn't even what we ordered. DO not order from here. They're nasty, take forever and the food it horrible. Go elsewhere- you'll be much happier.

since it was our first time there, we didn't know we were suppose to order at the counter, there was no sign stating order at the counter. sat at a table for 10 minutes before someone from our party went to the counter and retreaved menus. three people behind the counter and still no acknowledgement from the staff. when we questioned , we were told you order at the counter. explained it is our first time. a cheeseburger with onions, mushrooms and bacon (bacon bits) with fries and no ice rootbeer. our order was large cheese steak with fries. How do you mess up a simple order. The soda cups were filled to the top with ice. When the orders were ready for pick up, we were waved to and said your food is done. $40 spent for our food. Being handicapped had a hard time getting into and specially getting out of the door. Very steep ramp going in and out. Would of been better for us to eat on the boardwalk.

I hate giving negative reviews but this place was the worst. Delivery took well over an hour. There was no sauce for the stromboli. The wings were cold and overcooked. The pizza was just meh. Dissapointing.

During my recent adventure to the tri-state area, I had the pleasure of visiting Shore Slice Pizza & Grill, a delightful spot that truly captures the essence of boardwalk dining. The owner, Joe, is incredibly welcoming and genuinely passionate about his craft. My daughter was thrilled when he invited her to toss a pizza with him—an unforgettable experience for her as it was her first time seeing the Atlantic Ocean!
I've been here many times. Always have friendly staff and since it's at the beginning of the boardwalk, right after Ortley Beach, it's very peaceful. The owner is authentic and down to earth. I've even gotten breakfast items for my fiance at dinner time (that's how she is) and the food was fresh off the grill, not something sitting in a hot hold all day. If you're coming for the Seaside Heights boardwalk experience, start here with a slice and a drink, go back to your left to the beach access, then when the sun sets, go back here and walk the boards (or ride the sky ride.) It will start you off on a great adventure.

I recently visited Shore Slice Pizza and decided to try their fried Oreos. Overall, they were pretty good, though I found them to be a bit undercooked and doughy. Despite this, the experience was still enjoyable, largely thanks to the fantastic staff. They were friendly, attentive, and provided very good service, which made the visit worthwhile. I would definitely consider going back, hoping the fried Oreos are cooked to perfection next time!

All the way from Ohio, we HAD to try Shore Slice. Joe, the owner, was so kind to us, made sure we had everything we needed and took such good care of us. The food was AMAZING. Some of the best pizza, garlic knots, fries and cheese curds I’ve ever had. We can’t wait to come back!

Drove one hour to visit friend and we ordered from here because the pizza was the rave. They were sold out of pizza and we didn’t have an idea this was happening. We also were stoked for the fried PB sandwich and I was raw dough! You kidding me????? Fries were so cold and raw and the meatball sub just looking like a prison meal and sus! My friend wanted to entertain us and the embarrassment is real! I feel bad that I had to go to quick check instead of banging meal! Keep up the good work buddy! Edit….. I am sick as a dog and feel like I’m going to get sicker. Boardwalk Food at your Lowest!

I just walked to this place based on the review from Facebook that said they had cinnamon and sugar on a funnel cake. I went there to confirm it and she said yes I saw her make it and pour only sugar on it so asked the guy do they mix the sugar and cinnamon together he said yes and went and ate it and there was no cinnamon on it. What a disappointment I feel like they scammed

Joe the owner is so nice. The pizza was the best. We came so my kiddo could see the Atlantic ocean for the first time. While we were visiting family while in the tri state area for a roller derby bout.. And get some boardwalk pizza.. We were watching him toss a pizza and he invited my daughter to make one with him. This was a great time. And made the entire day just a great day to remember.. Anyone can tell that Joe cares about his pizza. And business.. he has a great personality and it shows by each bite of his pizza. Thanks again for your hospitality and a lifetime of memories.

The slowest service EVER. Prices are ridiculous. They had no cheesesteaks. The boardwalk fries weren't boardwalk fries, they had no malt vinegar AND the pizza was burnt. The $12.99 sausage parm was ONE piece of sausage cut in half. Do yourself a favor and take the little extra walk to the Midway. Such a disappointment.
