Restaurant
The Mad Greek is a low-key restaurant known for its Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, including gyros, fried zucchini, and other international dishes. It's a popular stop for lunch and dinner, offering flavorful grilled meats, tasty seasoned rice, and amazing yogurt and dill sauce. While the parking lot may be in need of repair, the food comes out quickly despite the busy atmosphere. The restaurant also offers friendly service but could benefit from an update in terms of furniture.
It is an amazing place, I’m fond of Greek guys. I passed here hundreds of times but usually it was very late, this is the first time I had a chance to visit and order. I’m Turkish Muslim so I hesitated to get lamb, preferred chicken it was really good. Staff is amazing, I loved the atmosphere too 😅 very nice place. If halal food offered here I guarantee all my company drivers almost 60 good eaters will eat here 🤭 Thank you so much offering service in the middle of nowhere 👏🙏🫡 parking opportunities are also great for my 18 wheeler 🙏 there’s also 20 percent bonus for CDL holders and veterans, I should have 40 but only one is valid 🤣

Mad Greek If you are driving past Baker on freeway 15 and looking for lunch, the Mad Greek is a great place to go. The restaurant is clean, well lit, has a walk-up counter where you order and pick up your food serve yourself drink station and has plenty of seating. It is a short wait for your food to be prepared and is nice and hot when your buzzer goes off. I ordered a Lamb & Beef Gyro. Very tasty with the mixed meat, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions, served on pita bread with Zaziki (Cucumber-Yogurt) on the side. My wife was equally impressed with her Falafel Pita Wrap. I included homemade falafel with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions served on pita bread with Tahini on the side. The meal comes with a drink and fries, and those fries were really good. They are coated with something yummy, fried just right so they are extra crispy on the outside and soft but fully cooked on the inside. The baklava was good, but a little dry. I've had better. A little pricey perhaps at a little over $50 with tip, but far more satisfying than your regular chain burger or taco stand.

Out in the middle of nowhere, but absolutely worth the stop! If you’re headed to Nevada, don’t pass up the chance to eat here. The restaurant itself is simple, but the food packs a big flavor punch. The strawberry shake was amazing—sweet, creamy, and refreshing. The gyro and hamburger we tried were both mouthwatering and cooked to perfection. A true roadside gem we’ll remember!
S K — Google review
Stopped in at The Mad Greek in Baker, California during a motorcycle trip with a buddy who insisted we have lunch there—he called it amazing, and he wasn’t wrong. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by an attendant (possibly the owner?) who was super knowledgeable about the menu and clearly passionate about the food, one of the staff members, helped prepare our meals and offered some great suggestions since it was my first time there. The place is well-stocked with a wide variety of delicious Greek dishes and desserts, and everything we had was fresh and flavorful. Everyone was friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the restaurant itself was clean and comfortable. It’s definitely a hidden gem—if you’re traveling through California on the way to Vegas, don’t miss this spot. Totally worth the stop.
D ( — Google review
We stop here every time we leave vegas, so a few times a year for the last 16. We always get the gyro sandwich and strawberry shake. The staff is always great and the food is delicious every time. If you have any issues, they address it quickly and go above and beyond to make it right.

passing through from our trip from Nevada and decided to have ledge at the Mad Greek. Food was great and service was fast. servers were friendly definitely will stop again when passing through. if you're ever passing through stop and give them a try.
Rebecca C — Google review
The food was wonderful. My only complaint is that for $10 you only get four falafels. Not a great value for your money. They tasted great though. This was one of diner's drive-ins and dives first visits. And definitely worth your time to go there.
Andrew M — Google review
This is the best Gyro you can get out here in Baker. This place is like an oasis in the desert. I'm very impressed at how well it's kept inside. Clean tables, great Greek music set the ambiance. The interior is bright and inviting. They have upgraded the interior with touchscreens that you can place your orders with. Very intuitive and easy to use. There was an employee there that was super helpful and friendly. I got a beef lamb gyro and a chicken gyro. Standard fare, the beef lamb had lots of flavor, the chicken was just ok. Now the Tzatziki sauce OMG so freaking good! I ended up licking the container it came in clean. I have no shame if it's that good lol. I normally try to not stop when traveling back and forth from Cali/Vegas but I am so glad that my girl had to pee really bad and we had to stop. Please do yourself a favor and stop by and pick up a gyro you won't be disappointed!

Jack in the Box is a vibrant fast-food chain that offers an extensive menu featuring everything from juicy burgers and crispy chicken to flavorful tacos and breakfast delights. Nestled on the outskirts of town, this location stands out for its inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. Diners can indulge in well-cooked hamburgers, where the meat is tender and flavorful, though some may find the cheese portions a bit excessive. The curly fries are a highlight, perfectly complementing any meal.
Carlos was very nice and professional and he got our order correct. We had a Cluck combo with curly fries and fruit punch, another Cluck plain (only meat and bun), and a 3pck of egg rolls. Very good and my picky son who had the plain Cluck was very happy his order was made correctly.

This is the best Wendy's I've ever been to. The burgers look like the picture. Keep up the good job. Thanks
Connie R — Google review
Stopped to get something to eat during our trip and we got this inside our fries, a hot oily screw. I'm guessing it came from the frying machine. I'm not only disgusted but mad at the fact that the server would lack safety protocols to ensure something like this won't end up in someone's food let alone someone's body. Just save yourself the trouble and stop somewhere else but not here.

I went to fill up, wash my windows, and get a snack for my journey across the country from Wisconsin to California. All my stops are very important to make it across country.

I walked inside. I inquired about a particular meal & I knew they had & at a lower price. The head assistant insisted they didn't have & she offered me a similar meal but at a higher price. At first she seemed to not understand what I was asking for.
Sunshine H — Google review
Start off saying the place was a mess. Tables were dirty, food all over floor. Beverage station needed a good wip down. Received the first order of the 6 piece crispy chicken strips. Bit into it and the center was like mush. You know that texture of under cooked chicken. The second batch was well done to cook the chicken inside. That didn't work either. The chicken had lost its flavor and texture. I did order the 6 piece but only received 5. The way they tasted I could have received just 1 and would not have mentioned it at this ponit. As you can see the fries were the mixture of the bottom of the ben. With scraps from fries an curly fries. Using the beverage station seemed like all our selections were unavailable. Wonder if the other locations have the same problem with the chicken strips.

Del Taco is a Mexican-style fast-food chain that serves breakfast, tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. This particular location between Las Vegas and California has gained popularity among travelers due to its friendly staff and clean restroom facilities. The food is consistently prepared with care and has a distinct taste that sets it apart from other Del Taco branches in different cities. It's a convenient stop for those on long drives as it operates 24/7.
The food was fresh, for a fast food chain it was very good quality fresh ingredients it appeared. Service was great very friendly staff. And the dining room has a stunning view over the desert and mountains. I enjoyed my experience. I had the grilled chicken guacamole burrito, I highly recommend it. Also for all my fellow truckers out there, they even have paved spots to park up your rig! Very convenient!
Dan K — Google review
It was late and very happy to see a place open on my way home from Vegas. As far as Del Taco goes, this is probably one of the best ones I've had the opportunity to enjoy. The tacos are about $2.79/each, but well worth it. I got 8 thinking I would be able to eat them all, but only got through 3 last night. I enjoyed 2 more the next day. Looking forward to stopping by to grab a quick bite to eat in the future. Thank you Del Taco team!!!
Miguel C — Google review
I recently visited Del Taco, and while it used to be a solid spot for quick and affordable meals, my latest experience was just okay. We ordered the 8-layer burrito combo, which had jumped in price from $6 to $9—a roughly 50% increase. While price hikes are understandable, it didn’t quite feel justified, as the quality and portion size remained about the same. The food itself wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t as good as it used to be. It worked as a quick snack before our main meal, but nothing particularly stood out. Additionally, I noticed that all the menu prices had increased by 40-50%, which makes Del Taco a less budget-friendly option than before. The location was convenient, though the parking lot felt smaller than I remembered. It’s a little off the highway, making it accessible but not the easiest stop if you’re in a hurry. Overall, it was an okay experience—nothing terrible, but nothing great either. If you’re craving fast Mexican-style food, Del Taco still delivers, but don’t expect the same value it once had.
Universal E — Google review
Absolutely my go to stop when traveling the i-15 to and from California to Nevada or vice versa. Food tastes like the Del Taco I used to know. Bean burritos with green sauce, filled with hot and tasty beans like it was served in the past. So many Del Tacos barely fill a burrito as it should be. Skimping on ingredients means I "skimp" on return visits. Good tacos, self service drinks are a plus. Side station well stocked with hot sauce and knapkins. Restrooms while traveling on the road are hit and miss, but the one here is clean and no line. The little road stop of Baker is a long time tradition. It's felt some hard times as the years go by, but make a stop and dine in at the Baker Del Taco. Good food done right, priced fairly considering the location. Overall my favorite stop when on the Cali i-15 🤠👍🌯🌯🌮🥤

I tell you what. This place is impeccably clean. Service, equivalent to a 5 star Michelin 🌟 restaurant. Food, never had a better bean burrito in my life. Mild Sauce do or die! Bold, you been told! The blonde gal in the morning literally makes my day every time I see her! Positive vibes!
M B — Google review
Wonderful staff. Best and biggest green burritos I have ever gotten from any Del Taco. Their fry containers are filled full. They also really do give you extra anything that you ask for. Great team of employees that work well together to make customers happy and keep the place clean. ✨✨✨✨✨
Kathleen A — Google review
This place is always dirty but food is moving out at a fast pace.. non lingering food. But you do have to clean your own table. When using the restroom i feel dirtier coming out then when i walked in. But, the location is convenient.

This is my FAVORITE Del Taco I always stop at when I run freight to Vegas. Food is always fresh and served perfectly! You'll easily see the difference between here and other locations, the best. Employees here very friendly and professional. Thank you!

Arby's is a well-known fast-food chain that specializes in delicious roast beef sandwiches, alongside a variety of hot and cold sandwich options, crispy fries, and delightful shakes. One visit to this particular Arby's left patrons impressed with the exceptional service and quality of food. Although it may be on the pricier side, many found the experience worth every penny. Families can enjoy fresh meals in a clean environment, making it an ideal pit stop for travelers heading to Las Vegas or just passing through.
This Arby’s is pricy, but we had the best service and best food we have had from an Arby’s in years here today. My wife, my toddler, and my bill came to over $50 but we will likely stop here again when passing through. Everything was fresh and thoughtfully prepared.
Ryan W — Google review
Super slow service. We ordered 2 sandwiches. No sides or drinks. We sat in the drive through for 25 minutes! It took forever and we were the only car! $9 and some change for just a classic sandwich (no drink or fries) is ridiculous. Pass up Baker.
Pam B — Google review
Service was great. Fries were hot but the roast beef was just warm. Must have been trying to save money or had an AC unit out because the sitting area was hot. Like I was sweating. But we moved closer to the check out counter and it was a little cooler
Sheena C — Google review
The food was over priced it was something like $85 for 4 people and we each got a combo, to get fries and a drink. The men's bathroom had just one toilet and no urinal, though it looked like there used to be one, at least there was a lock on the stall. The eating area was hot, not as hot as outside but at least outside the air was moving. There was a table that had broken seats which was blocked off and a section blocked off because it looked like the ceiling had a leak but then one of the customers moved the chairs that were blocking the area back to the usable table that were missing chairs, and since there was no sign as to why the chairs were there they assumed some child was just playing a game with them.

Didn’t even bother eating there. 1 sandwich no meal is $15…. I visited Arby’s in the mid west and it’s triple the price. I get wages in California are higher but my god… yall need a reality check

Fast food restaurant
Ice cream shop
Dairy Queen Grill & Chill is a beloved fast-food destination that offers a delightful mix of classic burgers, crispy fries, and their famous soft-serve ice cream. This charming eatery stands out with its signature shakes that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. Located on the outskirts of Baker City, it’s an ideal spot for those craving comfort food in generous portions.
Unfortunately, we must agree with so many other reviewers that this place should not be your first choice for buying anything while waiting to charge your vehicle. The prices are out of this world and for the most part, double what you would pay back home. Unlike airport prices due to high concession costs inside an airport, there is no excuses here for both of the fast food restaurants located in the same complex except to price gouge their customers. It is sad just how bad it is here. I agree with another reviewer to walk down or stop in at the Taco Bell before buying anything here. Better yet, bring a cooler with food and drinks and you will not need to use any of their services. I guess if enough people complain or stop using these locations, maybe the owners will take the hint, but for as long as we have been travelling this interstate, do not hold your breath. No need for response by owner to give us a standard “boiler plate” response. This will be the same response we will leave for Jersey Mike’s Subs and Dairy Queen Grill. Both locations have restrooms and plenty of free parking in front of the buildings. Dairy Queen does have plenty of indoor seating and there is additional covered seating with tables out in front. Finally, there are numerous Tesla Supercharger stations and regular Shell gas pumps with diesel pumps located within the same complex.
Thomas B — Google review
I just learned that Dairy Queen closed all their branches in Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. What a pity! Nothing can be better than an ice cream after driving several hours through the desert in triple-digit heat at 3 p.m. Baker is a town in the middle of nowhere, on the trip from LA to Las Vegas. The town only has several gas stations and some fast food. I drove into a Shell station to fill up my tank, and there was a giant chair between the Dairy Queen and the gas station shop. I put the gas pump nozzle into the tank, then walked into Dairy Queen and ordered a Mint Oreo Blizzard. I waited for a while. There were only two staff members in the restaurant, with only one preparing food, and there was another customer in front of me. The room had a strange odor. I got my Blizzard after the staff flipped the cup. Back in the 1990s, when I first encountered Dairy Queen in Shanghai, I was really impressed by this flipping idea. I sat beside the giant chair eating my Blizzard. Suddenly, a group of senior Chinese people appeared. They all walked into the gas station shop. What had happened? I saw them walk out through the shop's side door and then realized there were two toilets behind the giant chair, with a tourist bus parked nearby. The Blizzard was way too sweet and lacked the cool refreshing touch that mint should provide. I guess I won't have Dairy Queen again in the near future.
Yule S — Google review
In short, this place is disgusting, overpriced, and as hot inside as outside. I looked at reviews from over a year ago that have mentioned the same thing with responses from the owner saying they value the feedback of the customer and working to better the experiences, but obviously nothing has been done. The fact that the salad is 15 dollars here and is traditionally 7 dollars elsewhere is astonishing. This place is truly taking advantage of people, and that is truly more disgusting than the actual dining area. I will be reaching out to corporate.
Brenda M — Google review
Stopped in yesterday, Friday afternoon for a little refreshment. Ordered the cave confetti cake blizzard. It was absolutely terrible ice milk, quality, and wasn’t even sweet at all. Seems like the owners are trying to cut corners on quality here. I don’t know how they’re able to keep this franchise it is nothing like a Dairy Queen I know
Jason M — Google review
This DQ is horrible! Not only will you spend almost $60 on three meals but service is horrible and the food is just gross. Very over priced for such low quality food. Be sure to double check the prices or you’ll be surprised when it’s time to pay like I was. Oh and if you want a shake or any of their ice cream just know you’ll be spending over $12 for a medium size. Never coming here again!
Maria G — Google review
Everything about this place gave me scabies vibes. The DQ we got in line and ended up leaving because it just felt so dirty inside. The door handle literally had dried, melted chocolate spread all over it as if someone did it on purpose and no one was interested in cleaning it up. The place was so run down you can only imagine how the kitchen looks back there. The restroom, both sinks were clogged in the woman’s restroom. Never again.
C C — Google review
Overall: 3.2/5 (dine in) We were charging our Tesla and stopped by for a late lunch. It looked like there was only 1 cook so it took awhile for our food to come out. The prices are also higher than usual. Crispy Chicken Bacon Salad: The crispy chicken was really good, crispy, and huge. The salad came with bacon, diced tomatoes, cheese, & dressing. It was a pretty good portion and filling. I would recommend it. Onion Rings: The rings were big but too heavy on the batter. Flamethrower 1/3 Lb Signature Stackburger: It wasn't bad but I liked my salad better. The beef patties were average but the buns sucked. They should probably invest in sesame or brioche buns.
Angelica L — Google review
Dairy Queen has the the best blizzards however this is one of the worst run DQ I have ever been too. The place was dirty the employees were rude and did not care about what they were doing and the blizzards were all ice cream and very little add ins. It took for ever to get the food. Better off passing this one by.

Taco Bell is a beloved fast-food chain that specializes in delicious Mexican-inspired dishes, including tacos, quesadillas, and nachos. Whether you're on a road trip or just craving some quick bites, Taco Bell offers a convenient stop with its tasty menu options. Many fans rave about their grilled cheese burrito, highlighting the consistent quality across locations from Provo to San Diego. The friendly staff and efficient service make it an enjoyable experience for diners.
This is the best Taco Bell I’ve been to. All of the food was hot and fresh, even the fries!!! I went through the drive through and they were careful about how they bagged the food so it wasn’t all dumped out all over the bag like every other Taco Bell I’ve been to.
Steven S — Google review
Worst Taco bell I've ever been too. Do yourself a favor and go extra miles to a different taco bell or just anywhere else. Staff was willing to refund but not replace a item. No common sense here what so ever.

3 crunchy tacos and 2 soft tacos. I got my food and walked back to my car, i got in my car and got on the freeway heading back to los angeles. I asked my wife to open up the first taco as I am the one driving, the taco shell looked like someone dipped it in water. It was completely soggy. I had just left tacobell, no more than three or four minutes before that. I asked my wife to open up the other two hard shell tacos. And they were pretty much the same meaning that the meat was extremely watery.. this was a waste of $7.50.. my wife just ended up giving me one of her soft tacos
Abraham S — Google review
I tried to order at the counter. People saw me, but nobody took my order for about 10 to 15 minutes and I was on a 30 minute break before I had to hit the road again. People inside were friendly. The restaurant itself tables are dirty floors are dirty floors are sticky and I didn’t even wanna see what the restroom had to offer
Matt J — Google review
The restaurant has a “smell” emanating from the restrooms. The food was very greasy and runny making it difficult for my 6 year old grandson to eat without the taco insides dripping out all over the table. I had a burrito supreme and it was just as bad, there was visible grease in the food drippings. While I was waiting in line to place my order at the kiosk, everyone heard a very LOUD bang. It sounded like a car hit the building. The customers in the dining room looked around but couldn’t see or find the source of the sound. Not one employee bothered to notice that several customers were concerned about hearing the crashing noise.
Gina R — Google review
Restrooms had NO soap. Taco Bell employee “washed hands” but with no soap. When the employee packing orders was told there was no soap, she just nodded her head and rudely turned away. Asked her for more sauce and she threw it on the counter. Worst experience EVER.

The drive-thru guy was amazing, but when I got my food, it was all wrong, and I had already driven away and was home. Did not want to go back out in the heat 😫 so I threw it away. What a waist of money.

If you're on the road and craving a satisfying meal, Carl's Jr. is a fantastic pit stop that promises deliciousness in every bite. Known for its towering burgers and hearty meal combos, this fast-food gem offers everything from classic cheeseburgers to loaded breakfast burritos that are sure to exceed your expectations. During my visit to the Carl's Jr. in Baker, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and welcoming the restaurant was—spotless bathrooms included!
Stopped at this Carl's Jr. In Baker for breakfast on my way to LA and tried the loaded breakfast burrito with hash browns. It was bigger and tastier than I expected—better than most other Carl’s Jr. locations I've visited. The restaurant was very clean, including the bathroom, and not too busy. The manager was kind and took a moment to chat, which made the visit even better
Frank G — Google review
Just stopped at Carl's Jr in Baker, Ca. The place was immaculate. We got to place our order with a human instead of a kiosk. Our burgers were generous & tasty. And the young people who served us were polite & attentive. There's hope for America after all. Well done, Carl!
Elisabeth S — Google review
Tucked away from the main highway, but worth the extra 15 seconds. Zero wait, all employees had smiles, and everything was clean. I ordered a Western Bacon Cheeseburger with Ketchup instead of BBQ sauce “Protein Style/Lettuce Wrapped”, which was delicious. After driving a couple hours, it was definitely a relaxing break and hit the spot. I would definitely suggest this Carl’s Jr.
Phillip W — Google review
Don’t stop here. Waste of money considering the food was not up to what Carls Jr would actually call a good standard. Served us cold fries and nuggets and the nuggets are made out of crap not chicken. Oh and the women’s bathroom smells like something died in there and they can’t get the smell out.

STOPPED IN BAKER ON OUR WAY TO LA FROM VEGAS. NICE CLEAN PLACE, RESTROOMS WERE NICE CLEAN. AND SERVERS WERE VERY NICE AND KIND. AND RECIEVED OUR ORDER FAST AND RIGHT ON POINT. DEFINITELY WOULD STOP IN AGAIN.

I like that you can stop here for your vegan friend while you drive to the Rose Bowl. Although I am not sure if a burger is the best option for breakfast, either beyond beef or real beef. We did dine inside though and the place was clean. The staff was also pleasant.
Wade B — Google review
They goofed up the order again. It might have something to do with the outside intercom. This time I was overcharged for a Coke, $4.83, when I confronted the person. The person seem to get upset and annoyed. I like Carl's Jr hamburgers but I could do without the unsatisfactory service.

This Carl's Jr in Baker CA was a stop on the way home from Las Vegas to grab our first meal on the run. Let me tell you, this place was quick, friendly, and convenient. The food was hot, fresh, SO good , cooked to perfection, and felt good to eat a solid first meal of the day. We make it a tradition to stop here or at the Arby's fast food places when we are traveling back home from State line, Primm Resorts or Las Vegas. This is Chuy Viramontes signing out for now from back home in a Small City they call Alhambra Town SG, SGV, with respect of course.

Fatburger & Buffalo's Express is a well-established burger chain based in Los Angeles that offers a variety of burger sizes and classic fast-food choices. The cuisine is delectable, and it comes as a surprise that they serve beer on tap as well as shots of hard alcohol. The wings are highly recommended for their exceptional taste. The service is impressively quick, with the entire order being cooked and served in less than 8 minutes.
This place is so delicious. I got the dry rub chicken wings. And they was cooked to perfection.. so good. And my husband said his food was delicious as well. This will be our stop on the way home from Vegas everytime now. Totally loved it. Lots of space in side the dinning area. Just no dine in. All to go. They have adult drinks and shakes. Also have vegan shakes. Very good place. Thumbs up to the workers. 👍👍👍👍

The food was delicious! I had no idea that you can get beer on tap and also shots of hard alcohol there! Crazy lol! But I definantly recommend the hot wings! Their really good! Service was very fast, I believe it was a little less than 8 minutes for them to cook our entire order and serve it. It is located inside of the Chevron at the end of town that is also the home to multiple other restaurants, gas pumps, gifts, souvenirs and much more!

Good enough for road trip food. Mine was drowning in sauces 😮

Stopped to charge the car and have a treat, the burger was good the fries were just ok, they were fried to fast and a couple were still kinda raw but overall it was good and good customer service.

Visited Fatburger while stopping for lunch on way back to LA from Vegas. My LA friend says he lives Fatburger and rates them one of the best. He routinely rates them a 7 out of 10. He gave this one a 6.5 Since this is essentially at a gas station with KFC and a pizza place. My opinion: this is my first Fatburger and I lived it. Very good presentation. The burger didn't disintegrate. It was a little juicy: I got the XXL (two beef burgers in one bun) no cheese but with everything else included. Onion rings and fries. Soft drink is (as expected) bottomless. All in this cost me about $27 ($40 in total with my friend only getting a XXL with cheese). I would definitely recommend their burger. I think I know why my friend marked them down: the beef burger was slightly overdone.

If you miss Las Vegas going West this is the first spot to get Fat Burger if you are craving one. Worth it if you are considering stopping in Vegas just for the food.
Puneet G — Google review
My review is specifically for wings. Overall they were really good! The chicken was pretty high quality, the sauce was super standard medium buffalo (which is a good thing) and the fry was respectable. They could've been a bit more cooked, and the dressing seems pretty similar to a store-bought dressing. They're solid wings fit for any wing fan.

Craving a shake on the way home from Vegas and Fatburger satisfied my desire. Got a plain vanilla and it was delicious. Thx for being out in the middle of nowhere Fatburger

If you find yourself on the outskirts of Jean, Nevada, make sure to swing by Burger King for a satisfying fast-food experience. This popular chain is known for its delicious grilled burgers, crispy fries, and creamy shakes that hit the spot every time. Whether you're craving their iconic Whopper or some tasty chicken nuggets at an unbeatable price, Burger King delivers hot and fresh meals with a friendly smile.
We both had the #1 whopper with cheese combo, small. It was good, their French fries and not my favorite because they are on the soft side when I like them crunchy. The cashier was nice. Not to many people were there. We were traveling thru

This location was nice enough to let me inside the dining room despite being drive thru only as I was in my semi. The staff was very polite and the food was hot and fresh. The impossible whopper with fries.

If traveling through Baker, I highly suggest Burger King if wanting a fast food fix. The food is always tasty & hot. Orders come out quick, and served with a smile. The coffee is cheap, hot, and does the trick. There’s plenty of fast food choices at Baker, but I always choose Burger King. The 10 piece nuggets for $1.50, and $0.55 cent coffee, can’t beat those deals.

Infested by flies. I’ve eaten at this location a few times. Never inside. Today decided to dine-in to my surprise the restaurant had sworms of flies throughout the register area and counter-top. Initially I didn’t think anything of it. Ordered two number twos. As I was pouring ice into cups - of course the machine was out of ice. The FedEx guy next to me said - “the ice, always been an issue here.” Didn’t think anything of it. Waited by the counter then I noticed a fly here, there, on the cups by the fry area, on the plastic transparent divider-walls between customers and kitchen and literally every place, on me everywhere… I am not kidding. Yeah, not my cup of tea. I asked manager if he can guarantee the fly-infestation was only in the diner and NOT in the kitchen his response “people leave the door open for long periods of time”. By this time my food arrived in an opened bag. Manager just asked “what do you want me to do?” I just requested a refund. No problem. How unfortunate, was craving a BK burger, not today I guess.

Whopper - Reasonably sized patty with a lightly charred flavour. Vanilla shake - Thick like ice cream.

I was really looking forward to visiting this place after hearing so much about it, but unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to the expectations. Despite arriving well within the posted operating hours, I found the doors locked and the establishment clearly closed for the day, much earlier than advertised. I did see someone inside who appeared to be a staff member, so I knocked on the door hoping for some clarification or at least some acknowledgement. However, the person, a woman, seemed to ignore my attempts to get her attention, acting as if she couldn’t hear me at all. This was quite disappointing and frustrating, as I had made a significant effort to visit. It would be helpful if the business could adhere to their stated hours or at least provide some notice or explanation when closing early, to prevent similar situations for others

Horrible! Waited on food for 10 minutes. Ordered no cheese, I got cheese 🤬 Then go to the bathroom and find out too late that there was no toilet paper 😠🤬 I should have known after seeing this. Won't make that mistake again.

A&W Restaurant is a fast-food establishment that specializes in serving their signature root beer along with burgers, chicken, and fries. Customers can expect fresh and piping hot food, although there have been occasional issues with their debit card machine freezing during transactions. However, the friendly and accommodating staff ensure a pleasant dining experience. Located off the freeway in Baker Ca, this restaurant offers clean restrooms and a variety of food choices to satisfy different preferences.
I hadn't seen one of these in years so I had to stop. The food was good but this was the most I've ever paid for fast food. 😳

This is in a food court. Lackluster amenities. Food comes out pretty quickly. Food is piping hot. But really, it's a dingy joint.
Julian N — Google review
On the one hand, I haven't seen one these since I was like ten years old or something. On the other hand, this was the most money I've ever spent for two people at a fast food place. Totalling over $40...for two meals? I guess the prices everywhere are just gonna keep going up until nobody can afford to go to eat anywhere. Then what are these places going to do when that revenue source just stops???🤔 The food was good but not that good. I won't be going back...sorry. when the markup for consumers is 300% which it is from 1980 to now y'all can keep those burgers and fries.
Steven J — Google review
The root beer float of course was delicious. I ordered hand battered chicken strips and onion rings. The food was made to order and served hot. However the food tasted stale. I held onto it for the next 2 hours drive home then gave to my German shepherd. He absolutely loved them and gave them 5 stars. I only can give a 3 at best.
Daniel M — Google review
Fast service, food was hot, fresh, and delish.
Diana R — Google review
A roadside supermarket featuring several dining options from major chains inside. As is common with such establishments worldwide, the prices are higher compared to those found in a traditional shopping mall.

Forget about the Root Beer Float.... it's all about the ROOT BEER FREEZE!!! Trust me on that, been my favorite for years 🤘
