Fantastic place, atmosphere is good with not to loud music. The food is great, not to long waiting time either. Definitely try the squid sallad for starter! (we shared 500g lobster, pictured)

The grilled octopus was sooo delicious and perfectly cooked. I forget the name but the starter was also so good ( I share the picture). Their Banana flambé is the best 🔥 The waiter was very attentive and made sure w what everything we needed. Highly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed the food at La Rougaille Creole. The service was very friendly. Highlights were the octopus curry with eggplant and the banana flambé. It’s best to reserve a table, as it seems to be very popular.

Traveling from the US and came here because it was highly rated on Trip Advisor. It was a great choice. We ended up coming less than 10 minutes before the kitchen closed but they said they'd still serve us and we could still take our time to eat. (I don't recommend this but it's what we did). The menu had a variety of menu items, Creole and grilled flavors...we ordered the c Curry Ourite et Aubergines (octopus and eggplant curry) and the Rougaille Ourite (octopus in Creole sauce). The flavor of the food was amazing...textue, color, honestly, just delicious. They also gave us fried, battered eggplant on the house. So kind! And that was delicious and a must order. We also ordered shot of each of their homemade rums. Vanilla, pineapple, coffee and more... Service was exceptionally fast, attentive and Urania spent a lot of time answering our questions, taking care of us and was sooo kind. They helped us have a good time and we're so thankful. If you're in Mauritius, this is a must meal for local cuisine, great service, and delicious rum!

We came at 6pm sharp when they just opened, without a reservation but lucky us they had a table for us! The staff is really friendly and the menu is not that big, what we liked. For starters we had the tropical salad and the octopus salad, both was delicious and visually appealing. As main courses we had the prawn curry, veggie curry, chicken curry and veggie creole and again, everything was really tasty and not too spicy. If you wanted to, you could choose the spicier option as well. The overall ambiente is simple but welcoming, you don‘t sit at a Main Street which makes it less noisy and more comfortable. We definitely recommend La Rougaille Creole!

Great food at a reasonable price. I especially recommend the fish carpaccio – it was absolutely delicious! If you don’t make a reservation, you’ll probably have to wait for a table, so it’s best to book in advance.

I went to this restaurant twice whilst I stayed in mauritius. Would of gone alot more because the food was beautiful and really reasonable in price. My favourite dish was the King Prawn in creole sauce. Outstanding.

We drove many miles specifically to eat Chez Tino due to 2 years ago, my brother and his wife had eaten there and wanted to share the wonderful experience of delicious food. Disappointingly, not this time. The papaya salad was good as was the smoked marlin with palm heart. The real let down were the main courses, the sizzling octopus sizzled in disguised. Far too chewy to digest hiding in a bed of chinese mushrooms, the paella consisted of dried up bits of fish, rubbery prawns and a crab claw with no tools to crack, appearing simply as an ornament. The rice was cold and the lentil was awful, very muddy. The paella cold, as well as tasted old, looked days old, possibly frozen and reheated. The owner passed the buck to his staff and hid. Customer care totally lacking and we should have refused to pay for the abominable main courses. The view was excellent. Apparently, the chef has changed from 2 years ago. We will not be recommending any one.

I had a very good experience at Chez Tino Restaurant. The service was smooth and the staff were really nice, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The food was tasty, well-prepared, and nicely presented, with good portion sizes and fresh flavors. What I particularly liked was the atmosphere. It’s calm, comfortable, and not too loud, making it an excellent choice for a business meeting or a quiet meal. The setting feels professional yet relaxed, which adds to the overall dining experience. Overall, Tino Restaurant delivers in terms of food, service, and ambiance. I left satisfied and would definitely come back, whether for work or simply to enjoy another good meal.

For a seafood restaurant, not having fresh fish seems a bit weird. Their fresh pineapple juice as not… fresh… the seafood was overcooked and they really did not stand up to their reputation. Really disappointed. Next time will go to ‘la caz poisson’ just a few meters away 😬 ps: if you want the view, stay inside near the doors, dont go outside, the neighbors roof is not top…

Just an all out good restaurant. We were the only non locals, but the restaurant was quite full. A good sign. Food, view and service (and complimentary Rhum)....top notch!! Parking a small problem. But do go!!

Had the Octopus Salad, Chicken curry with rice & dal, and Roasted Pineapple with 5 spices & Ice Cream. The service was good—staff was attentive and friendly. The chicken curry was flavorful and comforting, and the dessert was a nice mix of sweet and spiced. However, the octopus salad was quite chewy. If the octopus had been more tender, the meal would have been much more enjoyable. Overall, it was a decent dining experience.

We visited Domaine Anna with high hopes, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. While the restaurant boasts a stunning night view and a peaceful atmosphere, the service and food quality left much to be desired. Upon being seated, we were immediately approached by the waitress who rushed us to order before we could even browse the menu. The menu itself lacked variety, and when we asked for alternatives, we were simply told they weren’t available — which was quite disappointing. The service felt stretched, with the same staff member managing several tables, causing delays in our order. As a result, some of the food arrived cold. Although the presentation was attractive, the taste and portion sizes did not justify the high prices. In summary, Domaine Anna is worth a one-time visit for the ambiance, but the dining experience itself fell short. Improvements in menu options and customer service would make a significant difference.

I ordered the catch of the day, but unfortunately the fish was only half-cooked — one side was completely raw. When I pointed it out to the staff, there was no apology or any effort to fix it. To make matters worse, I ended up with food poisoning later that evening, including stomach cramps and all the unpleasant symptoms. Overall, the service was poor — we had to wait a long time to place our order and again just to ask for the bill. Very disappointing experience.

It really is great food, good wine list, and a lovely atmosphere. The surroundings are very picturesque. The service is great too. BUT…. If they want to close (2.30pm) on a Sunday lunch time! They will hover at your table,, pester you to pay so they can close and go. It completely ruins a great restaurant,

We went for a seafood platter for 2. Including : lobster, prawns, shrimps, grilled fish, curry coconut sauce squids, rice, fries, vegetables and salad. On the menu, platter stars at 2250rs, but the waiter warned us it’ll be more, depending on the weight of the seafood (like every seafood restaurant) but he’s not able to tell us if at the end it’ll be 4000, 6000, 10 000. You’ll now only when he bring the bill. (Not even sure this is legal) We ended with a 7000rs (133€) bill. Did I get scam ? Maybe. First time I play seafood roulette but also last time here … hopefully it was good.

I recently dined at Domaine anna which I choose based on its strong reputation. My order was served within just five minutes and I was extremely shocked and disappointed to find a cockroach in my “gratin fruits de mer”. For a place that charges such high prices, this level of hygiene is completely unacceptable. People come here expecting quality, but what you're really paying for is overpriced food with zero care for cleanliness. It also raises serious concerns about hygiene and food safety standards in your kitchen. I trust that you take such matters seriously and will investigate this issue thoroughly to ensure it does not happen to anyone else. I would never return and definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone. At the prices they charge, the bare minimum should be clean, safe food and not a health hazard on a plate.

Domaine Anna is situated in the west of our island. It can accommodate more than 100 guest at once. Very huge place for birthday celebration and wedding events. I am so happy that they reserved the best seating near the lake. It was a get together with my girls. We really enjoy our 3 dinner course. So flavourful mood and dishes. I highly recommend to go for dinner with dashing clothes and makeup The price is quite affordable for a good set up and tasty food.we had Mauritian meal : fried noodle and Fried rice accompanied with some sautéed lamb. Cocktails were really good! The dessert was marvelous.we couldn't resist the chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. We had taken some picnics along the lake, the garden and park. The place is really beautiful and the lightings are well organised. Will come back soon ✅🙏📍❤️ Highly appreciate the generosity of the staff. So helpful and kind. A very very good place. The place is beautiful 😍 The atmosphere and ambience. A very intimate, romantic or family friendly atmosphere created by the lake, dimmed lights, and private tables on the lake. The restaurant is massive. A lot of effort has been put into this place. Lobster was good. Sauces and dips were great. Starters were good. Lamb steak was a bit dry and the food presentation could be improved to take this restaurant up to the next level. I would recommend this place. A very very good value for money and a superb restaurant.

Le Fangourin had fantastic food, but slow service was a letdown. We had to repeatedly call the waiter to get attended to. Clean bathrooms were a plus. However, prices felt inflated for tourists. Great cuisine, but room for improvement in service. It's worth a visit, but be prepared for the pace.

The food was good, the salad is very interesting unusual taste. The steak was not really good. Chicken is okay, curry taste. Mojito was just simple. Atmoshpere is noisy and not really nice waiters (ours was good)

Food was amazing and beautifully presented. We loved the desserts more especially the icecream served with the crème brulée. Menu is concise and no possibility to customize dishes as advised by waiters. Nice setting and spacious seating area. Been there twice and can say that quality of food served and service level were consistent and great.

Really enjoyed our trip the sugar museum and restaurant today. The menu was interesting, the food was tasty and service was prompt especially as the restaurant was quite full. A big thank you to Marie who looked after our table.of 10!

Absolutely loved our visit - our genius hotel failed to book and they found a table swiftly - food was fantastic- some of the best we had on the island and at a fraction of resort price. Elizabeth our waitress was brilliant and looked after us very well. Had the Emotion rum which came with these amazing little chocolate things, this and dessert had me greed eating by the end. Wish we’d discovered this place sooner!

The food was really good here, got the best tuna steak i had so far in Mauritius. The dessert (brownie) was also top. The place is very easy going and service nice. Prices are also fair for the quality you get. I would come back!

Having known about the Beach House for years and coming since 2012, tonight was unfortunately very disappointing. Aware that it changed ownership a few years ago. Came in 2024 and it was ok. Tonight was a different experience The famous Juicy Lucy burger used to be piled high with the juiciest all beef patty. This time their menu has a cheese filled burger patty. We asked for the burger to be swapped but the waiter had no clue what we were asking for. This went on far too long. With much arguing we managed to make our order. Waiter simply could not understand and was quite rude! We also chose chicken wings starter and a tuna and shrimp salad to share. Verdict- burger was pretty good although not the same as the original Juicy Lucy from years ago. Came with frozen wedges. Chicken wings - possibly from the freezer and absolutely no flavour on the coating. Served with a side bowl of bbq sauce. salad - pretty tasty but only one prawn. We know and appreciate good food and this didn’t hit the mark tonight at all, and for around £40 it definitely wasn’t worth it. Such a shame for somewhere that was very much a firm favorite for many years. Bring back the old Beach House .

My family recently dined at Ah Youn and I felt compelled to share my positive experience. The food was enjoyable, with our selections being both flavourful and generously portioned. Despite the restaurant being busy on a Saturday evening at 7 PM, the service was prompt and amicable. Given its location in a tourist area, the prices were quite reasonable and offered good value for money. While the decor may seem somewhat dated, the overall quality of the service, food, and affordability more than compensate for it.

I recently went to this restaurant and the experience was pretty underwhelming. The food was average and came in a really small bowl, especially considering how expensive it was. The service wasn’t great either. The staff weren’t rude, but they didn’t seem very interested or attentive. The wait time was also way too long, both to get seated and to get our food. The atmosphere was okay, clean and quiet, but nothing that stood out. Overall, it felt like I paid too much for a meal that was just so-so in every way.

The restaurant is chinese and served some yummy noodles. I had seen locals have noodles and was craving some found Ah Youn. The servers were especially nice and friendly. Simple place great food.

This is a fav of mine in Flic en Flac. The food is very enjoyable as is the ambiance. The service is next to none. I have had the opportunity to sample quite a few dishes! Well done!

Terrible to order experience, volumes were catastrophically small, way smaller than on premise that we had 3 weeks earlier for 3 out of 5 dishes. Quality was OK on 2 fish and seafood hotpot. This is way worse experience than we are used to after having been there over 5 times during the year. 1h wait instead of announced 30 mins then the portion sizes for 2 ginger fish, 1 beef, 1 hotpot sea food, 1 calamari

The service itself? Honestly, pretty good. The non-Mauritian staff are kind, patient and actually understanding. Just don’t rush them and don’t be rude. They’re doing their best while the kitchen’s doing whatever that was supposed to be. Now, the fried chicken. Don’t. Ever. Order. It. They’ve somehow managed to make dark meat dry. That’s talent. The coating? Bad. The deboning? Wrong. The idea was there — real dark meat, sliced, not those sad little strips — but the taste? Nonexistent. Zero. The food used to be better before 2019. Something clearly changed. Maybe the recipes, maybe the management, maybe the universe decided we’d had it too good. The plates... once upon a time, we had proper china. Actual plates. Now it’s these slidy plastic things that move around like they’re alive. The plate slides on the table, the food slides on the plate, and you’re left playing a game of chase-the-bite. The atmosphere? Meh. Depends entirely on who you go with and how your day’s been. Nothing inspiring, nothing offensive either. All in all, average. The food quality has gone downhill, replaced by cheaper stuff and it shows. Even the water’s downgraded. Somehow they’ve managed to sell the cheapest brand at the same price as before. Impressive, really.

We went there on a Saturday night. The restaurant was really busy, and the parking lot was full. However, this didn’t spoil the experience, as the owner and staff were incredibly friendly. They simply told us to leave the car blocking others and hand over the keys so they could park it properly once a space became available—allowing us to enjoy our dinner in peace. The food was excellent. We ordered a starter and a couple of main courses for two people, and everything we had tasted amazing. The atmosphere in the restaurant was perfect, with a man singing beautifully and a relaxed, enjoyable vibe all around. The waiters were all genuinely friendly and welcoming to everyone. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates great food. Having lived in Dubai for nearly 20 years, I can confidently say this place rivals any of the top restaurants I’ve been to in terms of food quality.

Was warmly welcomed by the manager. Went there for dinner. The atmosphere is great with cool music while having dinner. Took a lamb shank and risotto with seafood. The lamb shank was extremely tender and it comes with potato smash. The combination of the sauce, the lamb and the potato smash was amazing. The risotto was amazing too with a variety of fresh seafood. Tried scallop for the first time, it was delicious. We tried their homemade ice tea, it was a 10/10. Very fruity and refreshing. I will certainly go again to try other dishes and will also try the other Poivrier aound the island.

Feb24- went on a Wed eve. Was busy. Recommended by host but it didn't deliver: food was okay but below par service (conscious bias by staff?). Great decor and feel. Very inconsistent: Spaghetti vongole was delicious (cooked perfectly despite some grit) Vs a meh tuna tartare (mushy, needed texture and seasoning). The (v) large warm goats cheese salad was okay, but needed a dressing. For a place that limits it's menu (apparently) it had a very big menu! They made no real effort for vegetarians, 2-3 dishes. Such a shame as wanted so much to like it as special occasion dinner for ourselves, on last night. The one guy, maybe the maitre d'/ patron, was gregarious. We did feedback on night. Massive portion sizes! Tarte tatin hidden under mountain of ice cream and cream. If it was France I'd expect indifferent service AND amazing food..Nope. Confusing, imbalanced place, felt like it was trying too hard. Most expensive meal here so far £70 for 3 plates and one dessert, 3 drinks.

Good atmosphere with many objects from the past (vintage cars, old clocks and instruments, and even a small plane!…). You can see local trees and birds in the parking/garden area). The waiters explained the 3 service set menu and answered our questions. Although the service was a bit slow, the homemade dishes and condiments were tasty and authentic, and the dessert was delicious.

I missed the road to go in. When I got in the yard it was like getting into a museum. Old cars were all around even a plane. As for the restaurants. It is a great place. Authentic Mauritian Creole menu. Food is good. Could have been better. The service was quick and very good. The atmosphere takes you back in time with all the Olsen things around.

Amazing place, incredible food and atmosphere. Can’t come to mauritius and not stop by this restaurant. The owner has this amazing collection of old cars and it’s just so awesome.

We did not feel welcome and I personally feel the lady despises locals. I tried to book a table the day prior but they close pretty early which is fine. However when I told her I was trying to book a table her response was pretty cold. Fair enough, we were 3 adults and one teenager. My kid and my bf are both non locals and speak English and when she came she started speaking french so I asked to speak English and her tone changed. She did not sound pleased. We were sat down to the smallest table and a french family of 4 came and got the next biggest table. Our space was small but we tried to have a good time regardless until one of our glasses fell and at that point it did not make any sense to order more drinks. We still had to pay for the drink that fell. The food looked beautiful but was absolutely tasteless. Every time me or my daughter would use the bathroom she would follow right after probably checking if we were civilised enough for her restaurant. I have travelled in multiple countries in my entire life, never thought I would be treated like a last class citizen in my own country! By the time we left, the bigger tables were still empty. If you are a ✋🏻 person you will be welcome but if youre ✋🏿 just spend your money somewhere else. P.s. I will not bother reading their reply.

Great ambience, very friendly and nice owner & staff. A more extensive menu would have tipped them over into a full 5🌟. The venue and location are really cool. One of the owners is into vintage cars and some of them are displayed on the property. Very instagrammable place.

I was very disappointed by the lunch they provided me uncooked chicken breast. Even though they tried to offer me other options (fish or dessert) I refused because simply I lost my appetite once I saw the uncooked lunch.. The star I gave was for the view only! Definitely won't go there again and won't recommend it to anyone!!

The worst hospitality ever. These idiots made us wait for an hour and the food never arrived. The waitress had her own way of dealing with Indians. I am really not sure why this racism in this part of the world. Charged us 150 Mauritian rupee for 300ml of sprite which came after an hour (not exaggerating) and that too normal temperature. Never had such a horrible experience in any part of the world. The island is good but carry your own food to enjoy the beach. Please do not have lunch here.

I was there along with my my wife on 22nd Feb 2019. I have never seen such a rude staff anywhere. I don't know his name but this restaurant guy who was tall, thin came to take our order was fu****g dam rude. We left the place without placing an order. This guy seemed to be very polite with white people. Humble request don't go there if you don't want to get insulted.

Unexpectedly very good restaurant. When you look from outside it doesn’t seem like but OMG! Best shrimps we had on the island were here and the food was so fresh and delicious. I would recommend it 100%. Very good prices as well. Staff very attentive but without being overwhelming.

I rarely, if ever take the time to write a google review, but this meal earned it. Hands down the best meal we had in Mauritius! The fried calamari was perfectly cooked, the seafood platter was fresh and full of flavor, and the banana flambé and pineapple flambé was the perfect sweet finale. The local Flying Dodo beer was cold and refreshing, and the Mauritius punch was dangerously delicious. To top it all off, the staff surprised us with a complimentary shot of house made vanilla rum — smooth, rich, and unforgettable. Incredible food, friendly service, very reasonably priced, and true island vibes all around!

We tried a first time, but was fully booked (many Restaurants are closed on Tuesdays). We booked for a Wednesday it was pretty full. Nice punch, delicious octopus salad, and nice main Mauritius dishes. Very friendly staff, totally recommended.

Great curry. Samosa starters were beautifully spiced. Free popadums. Dry prawn curry and coconut prawn curries were delicious. Tarka Dal was a bit thin, but tasty. Excellent value. Recommended

BEST butter chicken I’ve ever had. The lamb dish so tender. The garlic naan and cheesy naan = perfection. Servers are sweet and fast. It felt like home! We went twice in four days because I was craving it. A must! And so cheap

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. We shared samoosas to start the octopus curry and butter chicken. Both were delicious and freshly cooked. Great service and very busy restaurant but we got a table straight away.

Very fresh and satisfying grease-free homemade food. Excellent chutneys. Naan with coconut and bananas, the tropical version. Very scrumptious Mauritian seafood curries. Overall, very flavourful and with just enough spicy kick to enjoy it. Generous portions, good value for what you get. Very friendly owner who happily explains what you are served.

Nice and local place for traditional Mauritian food. They have amazing fresh sea food dishes. They can offer good vegan curry as well, however it was missing any protein source in there. Would have appreciated some legumes like chickpeas, dahl or lentils.

Amazing seafood and very friendly service! The coffee was really good which is quite rare to find in Mauritius.

Took a fried rice over there. Food was disappointing, had frozen veggies in it, lacked flavour and was expensive for nothing. The service was also slow. Would not recommend.

We ordered grilled langoustine in parsley butter sauce and langoustine in curry sauce. Generally food was ok. Curry sauce was full of oil. Like literally langoustines were swimming in oil. The salad we got had leaves that were badly washed. Overall, it was a touristy spot with so so food.

Solid 4 stars for this place. The pizza is quite decent with a generous amount of cheese. Our favorite was the one with marlin fish — unique and flavorful. Other dishes didn’t stand out much, so I’d recommend visiting La Voglia Matta primarily for the pizza. Cocktails are hit or miss — some like the Piña Colada and Blue Monkey were better than others, but none were particularly exceptional. Coffee, on the other hand, was surprisingly good. I asked for an iced coffee and a frappe (which aren't on the menu), and they were happy to make them — both turned out well. The downside: there's no air conditioning, so it can get a bit hot during the day. It’s also a busy spot, so while service is quick, it's not the most attentive. Overall, I’d recommend this place — especially if you're in the mood for a good pizza.

I had a great experience during one of my visits to this place, especially with the pizza! I arrived quite late, just around their evening closing time, but a very kind staff member welcomed me in. He let me sit and place my order even though the kitchen staff were about to take their break — I really appreciated that level of hospitality and understanding. As I browsed the menu, I noticed they had a wide variety of pizzas, each with its own unique twist. One thing that stood out was the size of one particular pizza — it was huge, and I haven’t seen anything like it elsewhere! I decided to try it along with a drink, and it definitely did not disappoint. The salads were also fresh and delicious, and they offer a good selection of desserts that nicely round out the meal. Overall, the food was great, and the service made the experience even better. I’d definitely recommend this place and look forward to going back!

This little restaurant is an absolute gem! The family who own it are lovely: hands-on, friendly and involved. Staff are attentive and helpful and the food is outstanding! Ample seating for larger parties and plenty parking as well. Would definitely recommend this restaurant (ten stars!)

My niece chose La Voglia Matta at Grand Baie for us to celebrate my 3 years of leaving behind the corporate world and embarking on a successful entrepreneurial journey. I was celebrating my power for tapping into the unknown. As we were wrapping up with the YUMMYLICIOUS veg pizza and ordered dessert we wished for this celebration to be unique and so my niece asked for candle. Enzo did not have the candle but he went extra mile and decorated the dessert plates for us which intially were in take aways as they are coming from Trou aux Biches. This act of kindness stole my heart, it meant a lot to be treated as a princess I celebrate my achievements. Thank you Enzo for your hospitality!

Pizza is great and the ingredients are of good quality. The place is centrally located but it can get a bit too noisy due to the main road traffic…will eat there again.

Wonderful market place with all types of fruit and veg for local people and souvenirs for tourists. A lot of different types of aubergines or eggplant. In addition eating places with street food. There were also flower bouquets.

A very nice market with lots of fruits and veg i could not find the meat area but I did get lots of veg. I was looking for souvenirs to bring home but only clothing Overall a very nice market. For meat and fish go before 4pm, best mornings. We managed to secure a fish.

I often visit the Central Flacq Market and it’s one of the best places to feel the real local vibe. There’s a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, and spices at good prices, and you can always find friendly sellers ready to help. The place is lively and full of energy, especially in the mornings. It’s also convenient if you want to grab some street snacks or shop for everyday essentials. Overall, it’s a great spot for locals to do their shopping and enjoy the traditional market atmosphere.

To be recommended- baught 300g of fresh vanilla (see seller in the picture), pink pepper, litchee jam, mango&passionfruit jam, all produce from Mauritius for a good price. Market has good friendly atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing market! The freshest fruit and vegetables you can buy and everything is priced equally for tourists and locals so you are not being ripped off! Everything else you can think of also for sale and you cannot leave without a visit to the popcorn stall!

Worth a visit, amazing place, but keep your wits about you at all times. Personally I wouldn’t go there alone as a female. Be prepared to be heckled. The food section is fabulous, and the smells of fresh herbs amazing

Visited on a Thursday and found only a few shops open, as the market is fully active on Wednesdays and Sundays. Still, the atmosphere was pleasant and the vendors present were friendly. Worth visiting, but best to go on the main market days for the full experience.

These guys don't even pick up the call when you call. I have to keep trying and trying until they pick. Sometimes they even cut the call as soon as they pick up. Better not put delivery service if it's gonna be like that.

They forgot a few to add a few things to the pizza. The woman at the counter noticed and asked them to rectify. They all seem so unbothered or bothered, or both. The quality is not that great. It is edible but well, for the price one may expect it to be tastier. I don't mean to be rude but, the service quality has gone down throughout the island during the last decade.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received at Panarotis Vacoas. I placed an order at 17:40, expecting a timely delivery, but after waiting for over two hours with no updates or communication, I had to go out and pick up the order myself. Despite calling the outlet several times, I received no response, and by 19:40, there was still no sign of the delivery. If there were issues with the delivery rider or any delays, I believe it is the outlet's responsibility to inform customers in advance. As a result of the delay, my food became cold by the time I retrieved it. This suggests that the order had been ready much earlier but simply wasn't delivered on time.

the cashier advised order will be ready within 15-20 mins which was fair enough for a small size pizza, around 17:30 on Sunday however it took more than 30 minutes to be ready and no apologies from the staff. You clearly need to review your service time.

I ordered pizza for delivery since 16h57. It is now 18h17, no show of it. If Panarotis can not manage delivery, why are they taking orders. To make people wait this much. They must review their business skills.

I had an awful experience with Panaroti vacoas that I feel compelled to share. As my daughter and I were admitted to hospital Ent, I placed an order on sunday 02/06/2024 at 6pm and I were told that it would arrive in three hours (the girl repeat x 2 times:are you sure you heard that you should wait for 3hours ) i said yess bcoz i had no choice its very imporyan for that delivery despite that I agreed as it was really important, we didn't have dinner and the next day my daughter had to undergo an operation.it was importan for her to eat! After waiting far beyond that time with no delivery and no communication from the restaurant, we were incredibly disappointed. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I urge others to think twice before ordering from Panaroti vacoas. Such poor service and lack of communication are completely unacceptable

Taste is OK. But the size has definitely shrunk and the process has sky rocketed. The chicken on the chicken and mayo pizza has definitely reduced in size

I had a stunning fish salad (fish served warm) and a fresh juice. Very efficient service, they will pop up a table for you and the food is fresh. They are a well coordinated team and very friendly. Sea view as on the beach but plenty of shade.

I will go straight to the point! THE FOOD IS AWESOME!!!!! The service is top-notch. They provide you with tables, chairs and proper cutleries and definitely reasonable prices as they provide you all the comfort of a restaurant. Good food/good service and slightly pricey is definitely never an issue. Happy to have tasted the Octopus Salad - ONE OF THE BEST!!! The owners are very nice, friendly and definitely no discrimination between tourists and mauritians (a plus point in my personal point of view) They even offered us a little dash of rhum arrangé - one of the best we've tasted! One of the nicest beach food stops to go to. The prices are great and the people that hang out there are great to talk to. As well as multilingual. The food was tasty and made extremely quick. I recommend sitting down to eat.

Kiosque magique in front of the magic sea of Mauritius. Goods are well used and dishes are fresh and tasty. Octopus and calamars Fried excellent as starter and then dorade grillé as main course is very well done with sausage butter and garlic. Eating close to the sea is a must

The pizza was ok, had a 5 fromage. The burgers was not that good. Bun was not fresh, seems for yesterday's or older. The patty did not have any flavor, not even the beef taste. It was dry. The sauce overpowered the burger. Well I don't care about the salad, but it was worst than the burger. 2 star for the pizza.

A really chill and laid back place for food tucked away by the side of the street not far off from the main road. Miko the boss served us himself personally. He recommended the venison burger which he said was the best in his store which I tried. The food is pretty delicious and it’s a store that I would definitely drop by again. The boss is friendly, food is good & price is acceptable.

I’ve been desperate to find a good masala dosa since we arrived in Mauritius and so when I spotted Mystic Masala I thought I’d give it a try. I’m so glad I did. The service was friendly, fast and accurate. The prices were reasonable and the portion size was good. The masala dosa was delicious, quite different to the one I had many years ago when I visited Mauritius for my honeymoon (which was the absolute best) but still delicious and we finished the whole lot. We also ordered the veg thali, the Baingan aloo was lovely and imbli was just deliciously tangy, the daal was good and the chanay were not bad… served with a crispy naan and a popadum it was a very filling meal which I did enjoy. Pop in if you’re in Port Louis it’s definitely worth a try.

Yummy options and friendly staff make this a great stop for a port-side lunch with our large group. Got the chicken masala and fish thali, dosa and some samosas along with some local Pheonix beer. Great location to rest your feet while visiting the waterfront.

I have never had Indian food this good before! The dosas were absolutely outstanding, crisp and full of flavor. The paneer dishes and the cheese naan were also incredibly delicious. Both the chicken masala and the vegetarian vegetable curries were excellent – perfectly seasoned and full of rich, authentic spices. We were treated very kindly throughout our visit. The staff took the time to recommend dishes and guide us through the menu, which made the experience even better. We felt well taken care of and warmly welcomed. Highly recommended.

The best Indian food I have ever tasted. I travel for my job to Mauritius every few months and I always come and dine here. They introduced me to Pani puri a few months back which is a delicious street food worth a try and the tandoori thali is the best. I asked the server what it was in the picture (Pani puri) and he was shocked I had never tried them (not something we usually have on the menu in the UK) Great selection of drinks, I usually go for the South African rose which is lovely. I’ve been told the beer is lovely too. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Prices are very low considering the amount of food and variety you get. Can’t wait to come back again on my next trip.

Tried their veg thali and masala dosa - was good but could’ve been better if there were options to choose the level of spiciness and if the portions were a bit bigger. However, pretty good service and an amazing view to have lunch with! 😁

Their kebab (shawarma) is a joke. For 130 MUR, they give you skinny piece of baguette with barely any chicken in it. The price list is wiped out, as if the prices change like the stock market or asif it's a national secret. I'd rather buy a much better baguette from the bakery on the same street for 13 mur and eat that by itself, that would be more satisfying. You're better off going to grill express just minutes away. Grill express has cheaper and tastier options, and a place to sit, you can pay by card and the gentleman is courteous enough.

The owners are from Rome, Italy. They are super friendly and hard working people! Anyone who wants a taste of authentic italian pizza in Mauritius needs to try this place. It’s not quite the same pizza as from Rome nor Naples. It seems like a blend of the 2 places. The pizza is similar to neapolitan style, it is soft and flaky. It has a crunch but not as elastic as the Naples one. They also have their own unique pizzas in the menu such as the stuff pizza and the “La Golosona” truffle pizza. My favorite pizza was the one with burrata and bacon!

Owners are very pleasant and easy communicative people from Rome. They brought to Mauritius real Italian cuisine. Pizza is marvellous with high quality ingredients! Mozzarella is delicious! And lasagne with beef strongly recommended!

IMO It is the best pizza in the north! Very authentic. The staff is very friendly and you get your food very quickly. The pizza dough is very crispy! They use high-quality ingredients so the price may be expensive but it taste very good . You also do take away.

We visited La Golosona twice. Once without reservation in the late evening and they did everything they could to accommodate us. Our first visit was rather lengthy as they were short staffed, but the food was great. The owner, Andrea explained everything, told us his story and struggles he has to overcome daily. Our interaction made us want to come again and try their pizzas. As we came very late the first time, they already ran out of pizza dough. For our second visit the following day we made a reservation in advance. As we wanted to come for pizza specifically, Andrea asked me how many pizza doughs he should reserve for us, which was really thoughtful. Our second visit was great, the pizzas were delicious and service was really quick and attentive. What a delight! I had the classic - the Margherita which always shows you whether they know what they’re doing. In La Golosona they certainly do - it was superb. Few things to be aware of: - Lasagna portion is huge (600g) and it is easily enough for two. - Better make reservation in advance. - The food is delicious!

A traditional and warm Italian welcome. Just perfect. A taste of Italy in Mauritius. As of now one of the best pizzeria in the island. If you want a real pizza only place to go.

Very tasty food! The family cooks at home and then brings it to the stand. Very friendly and nice service. One of the tastiest things you could find! We absolutely recommend the roti with chicken, which is available for 50 rupees and keeps you full for hours.

Really good and tasty burgers. The in-house made chilli sauce was also absolutely great. However, the chicken strips were cold and not crispy at all. The service was also quite slow.

Stopped here for late lunch/early dinner after a boat trip, the food is fantastic! We had a bol renverse each and shared the fried calamari. I think it was my favourite meal of our 2 week holiday - absolutely delicious, good portion size and great value. Ran by a friendly couple.

Went on an early Saturday night without reservations and was seated immediately. But I'd highly suggest making reservations because 15-30mins after we were seated, the restaurant was full. With the food quality and service received, it's no wonder they're full. The waiter who served us was very polite, professional, and witty. He took his time to answer any questions we had regarding the menu and the wrong pizza order came but he was quick to rectify the situation. Didn't get the waiter's name but he was an older gentleman. The food is reasonably priced and the atmosphere was great. Very happy with our pleasant dining experience here and would highly suggest anyone to come!

We had dinner at the Acqua & Farina. I had the salmon ravioli, which was just okay,nothing exceptional. My husband and daughter shared a salmon pizza, which they enjoyed. The service was friendly, and our waiter was efficient. However, there was a safety issue at the entrance. My daughter knocked against the sharp corner of a small terrace and hurt herself, which was concerning. While the overall dinner was fine, we don’t think we’ll be returning.

I used to love the truffle pizza there, but unfortunately, my visit yesterday was quite disappointing. I went specifically for the truffle pizza, yet the quality had dropped significantly — the truffle had completely lost its flavor, and you could barely tell it was there. When I asked the server, they explained that the truffle is cut weeks in advance, which would explain the lack of freshness. While they kindly removed the pizza from our bill (which I really appreciated), I’d suggest ensuring that ingredients — especially something as delicate as truffle — are always fresh. It truly makes a huge difference. That said, the service was excellent. The gentleman who served us, an older Mauritian man, was exceptionally kind and polite. Thank you for the great service!

Went to Da Vinci’s for dinner and really enjoyed it. Started with bruschetta—fresh and tasty. Then had two pizzas. Both were amazing, some of the best I’ve ever had. The music and decorations made me feel like I was in Italy. The place is warm, calm, and very welcoming. Food was great and service was good too. Highly recommend for anyone who loves Italian food.

I ate here a few times already bu the last time left me honestly disappointed. Came with a group of 4-5 people and the service was a mess. Our food came out one by one with ridiculous gaps in between (one of us got their pizza almost 45 minutes before the last person) By the time the last plate came, the rest were either done eating or had cold pizzas. It's basic restaurant logic to send an order together, especially when it's a group order. At the end, the person who received their pizza the last had to take it home. No coordination, no apology, nothing. Wouldn’t recommend coming to dine in with a group unless they seriously fix their system.

A friend recommended this place to me and I’m so glad I listened to her and gave it a try! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was impeccable. The waitresses were incredibly kind and polite. It really made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back with my friends!

The cheese.. perfect The dough.. oh yes.. the dough.. I dont think i can add anything else. I have been to many places and many countries.. this tiny place really shines with its pizza. You have to eat it to trust my words. They have a lot of improvement to make in choosing some ingredients and maybe more eating space.. but thats nothing compared to thaaat taste! Enjoy it. We have been to their pizzeria to have dinner with my husband. Such a cozy place with very warm decoration, soft cover songs on the background and smiling staff who welcomes you in. Their pumpkin, cream, ham pizza was yummy and enjoyed their tiramisu afterwards. The only issue we had was the smell of drainage which was coming from outside and obviously they would not have control over that. I will definitely visit again. 👌🏻✨

The pizzas here are excellent and stand out as some of the best compared to other options in the area. While the menu selection is fairly limited and the seating space is quite restricted, the flavors and overall quality of the pizzas more than make up for it. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are nearby and craving a delicious, freshly made pizza that’s far better than the usual choices available locally

Good place to grab a quick burger or bbq at anytime with a cosy seating area.. just need to work on improving the food a little bit as i got a grill chicken burger but it was overcooked and dry.. a bbq platter that was nice but again overcooked and dry.. service is a bit on the slow side but kind staff.. definetely recommend parasol for a quick bite💯

The place is quite good. You can eat on spot or take away. It has AC. Food wasn't bad either. Had a chicken rounder, wrap and chips. You can also enjoy grilled chicken and lamb. Price is affordable and service is good. I have also tried his chicken roti which I found delicious. Shawarma is also available. The big problem with this place is parking. It has no parking therefore blocking the road. Need to work on a parking place.

Absolutely delicious! But the service is kinda good and the atmosphere also but pls make the people who serve us, people wear gloves!! It is important to stay hygienic!

The food might be okay but the rude behavior of the staff really ruins the experience, they have a serious attitude problem(rude,unhelpful and clearly not interested in customer service).Parasol seriously needs to address this issue and train their team in basic hospitality and respectful communication.

Parasol is a great join located in the south of Mauritius. We were struggling to find good burger joints and came to Parasol after our trip to the Nature reserve. The food was cooked perfectly with the touch of delicious fries. A great place to have a quick bite.

I bought from happy eater First of all the cashier doesn't mske customer feel welcomed. 2nd the food was freshly made ,I took a happy roll spicy in meal,which was really tasty and the fries was too good. 3rd thing I went to eat upstairs ,the light was off,flies everywhere,people left their food on table which they didn't clean...the table was so dirty.. I think the have to keep it clean and the cashier need to change her attitude Because the food was tasty

Hello, I usually eat at Souillac Happy Eater, Today 1st time want to eat i Rose belle, At my great disapointement,the cashier is chewing a gum,while serving me my meal,wat the most ugliest time is there the place to have ur food... Very dirty,toilet door open,unclean table Thats my last time having food at Happy eater

It's really nice! It's a small fast food snack but the food is really good and the staffs are nice too! They sell things like burgers, chicken strips, french fries and others. But the good thing is that the food is not oily and makes you feel like vomiting later but the chicken is fried dried and it's really crunchy which is the best part. So next time you go at rose Belle and you're having a little craving, go there it's worth it. 😁

Food and service was ok. No parking space. There was a car blocking the only parking space available in front of the shop. Couldn't be a customer as there were none inside. Probably the owner's or a staff member's car. Prices are somewhat on the upper average.
