Best food we had on the entire island of Mauritius. You must try the fried noodles with eggs, chicken, and prawns it’s absolutely amazing. The prices were also very good! Overall just an amazing experience and definitely worth the visit

We found Taste of Emy to be the best dining place in La Gaulette. Recently opened family restaurant, offering breakfast, lunch as well as á la carte dinner. Though the dinner menu seems limited, all the dishes are prepared by the chef himself, and are of the best of this kind. Attentive service, personal attitude. The best pina colada in Mauritius for desert!
Although not everything was available on the menu,what they did have was very well cooked and generous portions.
Brand new place and I'm not disappointed. I had a delicious prawn curry with coconut! Definitely coming back.
The staff is really friendly and helpful. The owner (and great cook) came to us and showed us what fresh fish he had. He grilled the fish and made a splendid platter with vegetables, salad and rice. It was delicious.
Wonderful food and very friendly people. We already ate there twice and will definitely come back! Tried different curries, they were the best I've ever eaten, and chicken wings and grilled chicken, also very tasty. I highly recommend!
