Gladys’ Cafe is a cozy, family-owned spot tucked off Main Street. We stopped in for a quick breakfast while waiting for nearby stores to open. I had the 2-egg breakfast plate along with a Bahama Mama—simple, tasty, and reasonably priced. The next day, we originally planned to try a different restaurant, but it was closed—so back to Gladys’ we went. This time, I ordered the Oxtail Special. It was definitely good, but at $36 (as you’ll see in the photo below), it felt a bit overpriced. Overall, the food and atmosphere were enjoyable. It’s a great local option in a central location. Will I be back? Yes good food, solid vibes.

Gladys’ is our go-to breakfast spot whenever we’re in the VI! Unfortunately, we missed breakfast this time (island time got us 😅), but the food was still absolutely delicious. The only small letdown was the “spicy wings” — they were well-seasoned but definitely milder than expected. I was hoping for a real kick, but they seemed more tailored to the American palate. That said, everything else we ordered was fantastic. It always feels like an adventure heading into Gladys — the walkway lined with lush plants is just beautiful and sets the perfect island vibe. Still one of our favorite spots on the island!

Cute spot and opened on Sundays! Waitress wasn’t too familiar with the menu or food but he was great and had a positive attitude. Food came quick. I ordered the Cesar salad and it was delicious! The soups were blah. Had better and this taste canned. Coffee wasn’t good either.

Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews until after my experience at the restaurant. I must say that the path leading to the restaurant is beautiful, absolutely picturesque. Seeing the atmosphere and walking through the alleyway on Sunday morning, I had high hopes for brunch at Gladys'. Yet, my hopes were quickly dashed due to the long wait for order taking, extremely rude Server, and nonexistent customer service. The server notified us that they were short staffed and she was performing multiple job responsibilities. She told us to hurry up and order and looked annoyed when we asked questions about the menu options. She asked us to be patient about the wait, but had no patience whatsoever for us. When our drinks were brought to the table, she informed us that one person's order wasn't available-no cranberry juice. We still felt the disregard and disrespect from earlier and decided to pay for our drinks, cancel our food order and leave. It's a shame they have someone so mean, rude and severely lacking in proper etiquette to represent this restaurant. I hope the owner reads this or someone who cares about that business reads it so they can make a positive change. The offender is near the beverage machine wearing all black clothes and pink crocs. I don't pay people to treat me poorly and we quickly left and went to Indigo 4 for a fantastic brunch and excellent customer service with a smile .

I was so excited to try Glady's Cafe but it was not what I expected after the hype. The protein (curry chicken and steak) were good. The other items on our plate was just ok.. the sides lacked flavor.I wouldn't say it was the best I've ever had. The service was ordinary as was the atmosphere.

The food was not worth it. Minimal seasoning and taste. I’ve had better curry and oxtails in the states. They closed at 3:30pm and we were waiting on our ride which came at 3:32 and they kicked us out and the lady was very mean and nonchalant about it. I would not recommend this place and for $36 I’m extremely disappointed in the oxtails. The curry goat did not taste authentic… everything was an extreme disappointment.

Location and atmosphere are island in this cool, brick building. We had conch fritters, jerked chicken wings, stewed chicken, curry chicken, oxtail special, plantains, mahi mahi sandwich. We also sampled a few cocktails that were ok: pina colada, painkiller, and banana bailey coconut.

Food and service were both great. We sat outside where our waiter greeted us with a great big smile. Only wish it was tapas style because the entries portions where to big to order for lunch time of day.

We walked in without a reservation but our greeter kindly fixed up a side table for us immediately. It was not an ideal spot But, the food and service were really Outstanding! We ordered the grilled Octopus which I will never ever forget how good it was. We also ordered the stuffed lobster along with the Spanish Paella Valenciana and an amazing house salad. Excellent place! ✌🏼🤩❤️🦞

We had Cara as our waitress and omg we cannot say enough good things about her. She was knowledgeable in not only the food choices but also the wine selection. She recommended dishes to us but was never pushy and overall just a great listener. She was enthusiastic in the food they serve. It’s so hard now days to meet wait staff who care and are thrilled for you in trying their food. She made the meal even more enjoyable.

CARA IS AMAZING! We ordered so much food and all of it was delicious! The stuffed lobster was beautiful. The lamb chops were scrumptious. The paella was perfection. The serve the freshest sangria I’ve ever tasted. Fresh bread, great salad. The perfect experience

The food and atmosphere are great, service was amazing as well. We went for a special date night and I thoroughly enjoyed the romantic atmosphere. My boyfriend and I split a handful of tapas including the escargot, octopus, mussels, and got a nice Caesar salad as well. The affogato and espresso martinis were great for dessert. We will definitely be back!

This is our second time coming here, and we have never been disappointed by the food or service. The wife had the seafood pasta, which, by the way, is not on the menu, but the chef will make it if you ask nicely, and I had the ribeye steak. Both meals were very satisfying and a treat. Our waitress was excellent and very attentive. We never had to ask for more water or wine in our glass. This place has some of the best food and service I've ever experienced and will always visit when in St. Thomas.

Beautiful little spot off main with all outdoor seating. Excellent service and absolutely delicious food. The ceviche was incredible. Red snapper was perfect and the crab stuffed lobster superb. Our favorite meal of the entire week.

We had an amazing meal here with friends! The Cornish game hen was amazing and the catch of the day looked great! The highlight for me was the Hearts of Palm ceviche. I've never had anything like it before!

Mafolie restaurant is easy to miss. When driving on the windy stretch it comes off as a small motel and nothing more. If you want to really experience a beautiful view and have a nice meal, find a parking spot and stop in. There are stairs on the side with signs telling you where to go. Seating in this place is abundant and wherever you go you will have a nice view, arrive early and you may get a seat next to the balcony edge. We happened to have dinner right before sunset and left after all the city lights were illuminating. It was absolutely beautiful. We were also greeted by two very beautiful feline friends who stay on premise. Please note they are fed daily and are considered pets, but they will come to you for some petting.

I originally made a reservation through an app and the app cancelled it (I believe it was the tail end of the virus spike). A couple of days later I receive a phone call from the restaurant asking if we still wanted to dine here. Yeah! So we made our reservation. I thought that was excellent customer service to call me back. First of all, the views here are everything. Try to book at sunset, it’s absolutely stunning. We had the pleasure of meeting Darcy who was our waitress for the evening. She was awesome and even offered us a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We enjoyed the Mango Avocado Salad, Crab Cake Steak, Conch Fritters, Lobster and Lobster Bisque. The entire evening was absolutely lovely. I’m so glad they called us to reserve.

Nice people with great service, delicious food and excellent view ( note there is no sunset view). The best place to try local dishes, I had the local soup (seafood kallaloo, strong taste and very different flavor, I really liked it) with fungi(!). For drink I ordered a juice of a local flower ( it was red and slightly sweet, but I don’t remember its name). They didn’t have local desserts :( , but raspberry white chocolate key lime pie did it for me.

We had the fresh grouper preceded by a house salad and sun dried tomato focaccia - all of which was outstanding! Our server, Toovin, was super friendly and the views can’t be beat! This was one of the best meals we have had in a week in US and BVI.

Made reservations and requested a table by the railing for the views of the harbor and that’s exactly what we got! Views are awesome. We watched the cruise ships sail away while having dinner. The place was maybe half full. The young man that took care of us was very nice and personable. We ordered our drinks which came out promptly. Ordered conch fritters. You get 6 of them. Came out after maybe 15 minutes, they were hot out of the fryer and very good. Highly recommend. We ordered the mains with the fritters. The mains came out about 45 minutes after we finished the fritters. Not a problem, we wanted to have a relaxing dinner. Though the table next to us was a family gathering with loud and sometimes crying baby, we just tried to tune it out. Food came out together, my curry short rib was not hot anymore, probably been plated for a while, but the other 2 were hot and well prepared. Snapper and beef brisket was cooked as requested. So I’d give the food 5 stars. What I’ve discovered about curry on the island from eating from 3 different places is that it’s very, very subtle curry flavor and not at all spicy. But still good, just not what I expected. The mains were good portions so with the fritters we were full and didn’t want dessert. Drinks were very good also. Overall, very good food and experience. Parking might be an issue during busy evenings.

We had a great experience at Duffy’s. The grouper was so tasty and a huge portion, and I even had some to take back to my cats at the resort. The music was great and our server was very friendly and attentive. It was pretty empty (Tuesday afternoon in September) so there was plenty of seating. The breeze was awesome; the chickens/roosters were entertaining; and our kids will be thrilled with the souvenir cups we bring home!

We had such a great experience at Duffys! Great service, great atmosphere, great food in the most unlikely of places, a parking lot in a strip mall. We were traveling on a cruise and had a parasailing day at Sapphire beach (also highly recommend). When we were done, we asked someone where we could go to go shopping and get some food, at first she told us just go back the cruise shops. We then mentioned we'd really like some conch fritters, she then immediately came back with, "Duffy's! Go to Duffy's" So we take a taxi from Saphire Beach to Duffys ($6 per person) and we stop in the parking lot in the strip mall. We are looking all over the strip mall and cannot find this restaurant and then we turn around and see this little shack in this already small parking lot, but don't let that deter you, really it just positively adds to the experience. They have menus that are on small pieces of bamboo that can double as a fan(fun). The atmosphere is just what you'd want from an island bar and grill. There was great local art and chickens literally walking around. Prices were reasonable, not cheap, but for island prices really not bad. Drink prices, great! You can get a shot and get to keep the shot glass for less than a shot glass at the neighboring gift shop. Also, we like to collect logo'd bar cups and these came with our beverages. We got the "Caribbean PuPu platter". It came out in sections with the most delicious fried foods and to top it off a little mini grill to grill our pineapple on. This was my favorite, little thing. I cant say enough great things about all of the little things. The staff was EXCELLENT! Andy took such great care of us with a smile on his face and thew in a few jokes here and there. Duffy's also had shirts at a great price with what also seems to be reprints of local art, we loved these shirts and were able to secure 4 of them for less than the neighboring stores and it was just a reminder of what a great time we had there. Thank you Andy and the rest of the staff for such a memorable experience. If we are ever in St. Thomas again, this will be the first place we stop! I highly recommend Duffy's! It was the hidden gem after our trip to Sapphire Beach!

Amazing lobster Wednesday deal (3 pound for ~$70 dollars) and $18 dollar for an amazing cocktail and you get to keep the fancy cup after. Did I mention amazing staff! Highly recommend

I had the island grouper and my lovely wife had the Caribbean PuPu platter. The portions were good and the taste was great. Fun atmosphere you can’t help but enjoy yourself.

We stopped at Duffy’s Love Shack to grab a quick bite and have the famous Bushwhacker! We had the fish tacos which I loved, but my wife thought were too “fishy”. The Bushwhacker’s were excellent.

We got married in St Thomas in 2023 We picked Duffys as a gathering place for all our wedding guest it was around 40 people. The staff was above and beyond ..drinks kept coming the atmosphere was live and hype...I had the Polynesian Pupu platter(may be spelling it wrong lol) but alot of our guest followed suit it was one of the best things on the menu ..I highly reccommend it!! Honestly I was so buzzed from the excellent drinks I cant remember any staff names...but this is a must do when you visit STT or even a local!! matter of fact my wife and I are here in STT for our 2 year anniversary...I think we will drop by!!!! It intresting that its called the "love shack" we certainly fell in love with it!!!......Sooooo part 2 today Oct 7 2025. We decided to pay the love shack a visit...my how times change...We walked in sat a a table looked at the menus...and NO ONE, NOT A SINGLE EMPLOYEE, acknowledged us, PERIOD!! I went with such high expectations excited to relive our wedding experience and to tell the staff what an awesome time we had...But again that was short lived...We walked out (not noticed) the same as when we walked in...No Love at this "Love Shack" pun intended...I will just say this ...if you are a brown or black person..just keep it moving...even if you go with a crowd and the act pleased to see you...they arent!....sad sad sad times we are living in...And yes all my 5 star ratings were reduced to 1 and none....Like a wise man once told me..A good name is won by many acts...but can be lost by one!!!

We had a great lunch at Duffy's while visiting the island. The food was really good, plenty of it and the atmosphere had a good vibe. The Bushwhacker was REALLY good! We will definitely be back!!

We came in for dinner Monday at 8. We entered the restaurant and sit at the hostess station for assault at five minutes. The bar was very crowded and no one acknowledged us until the hostess came out from the back. At least 3 staff saw us and were within speaking distance but said nothing. I was ready to leave at that point.However, the hostess came out of the bag just then, so we decided to give it a shot. There were two seats at the bar, so we took those. I ordered a Margarita and the boyfriend order an ultra; however, the island was out of ultra, so he drank a corona. We decided just to order a couple of appetizers so that we could visit another restaurant on the island and sample their food. It took a good solid five minutes before the bartender, who was within touching distance acknowledged us. We play star, drink orders and received them about ten minutes later. At that time, she also took our food order. We ordered the tomato bruschetta and the Boom boom shrimp. They both came out absolutely delicious. They were perfectly cooked. The shrimp was hot.The bruschetta was fresh, bread was crisp. Still a little bit disappointed that we were not acknowledged when we came in. Maybe this is just a really laid back place where they you live by the philosophy of island time.

My wife and I ordered togo on a Sunday night. The receptionist wasn’t the most hospitable or welcoming. We placed our order and she said the food would be ready in 25 minutes. We strolled the block while we waited and when we returned we were told it will take an additional 30 minutes for our food to be ready. This was not a major issue for us and we were highly anticipating the food to redeem this (minor) inconvenience. We spent $90+ on the most mediocre food ever. The shrimp pasta was dry and sad. It lacked sauce, any flavor, and well…shrimp. It was just an oily mess. The pot pie (which was advertised as an speciality entree) was tiny and bland. The garlic bread was stale and tasteless. We were expecting some amazing food from these reviews but this food was worse quality than what could be found at a cheap all inclusive resort. Unfortunately, this goes down as one of the most disappointing meals of our lives.

The food was delicious, way better than I expected. The tofu linguine was great.

Hidden gem I’d say! Food here is super good. Definitely a local feel. I was sat at the bar even though there were many open tables that were empty the entire time my friends and I were there so not sure why that was. The oyster appetizer was a nice large portion. Plantains were so freaking good. So sweet and cooked perfectly. Food came out quick which was nice. On the pricier side for sure. This place definitely isn’t appealing from the outside but go inside and give it a try!!

Visited this restaurant last night for a birthday dinner after a previous good experience years ago. Boy have things gone down hill…let’s start with the fact the only employee who truly seemed semi happy was the host, who was doing way more than hosting. The two bartenders were the servers, which would be fine if the place was slow but it was not. One of the two bartender/servers had flip flops on with an ankle brace. She absolutely hated her life and made it very clear when having to come from behind the bar to server the tables. Why she was the one serving tables while hopping around and the other who wasn’t injured stayed behind the bar the entire time is beyond me. Next is the food: ordered two meats, medium well, both arrived well done. As well as a shrimp linguini pasta in a white wine garlic sauce that literally tasted like seafood juices and white wine, very runny and not at all what a white wine sauce should have been. The app was good but that’s about all the place had going for it. Will not return in the future

Decidedly average for us. Some dishes 2 star, some 3. Service was pretty good. Drinks were fine - probably the best part.

We went with my wife to this restaurant and we were a little bit disappointed. The appetiser were ok, but we didn't love them (guacamole and the cevich). The main dishes were very, very good ! Salmon was great, risotto perfect too. My tuna was cooked perfectly. The dessert was ok. So this restaurant is good but for the price they ask its too much, especially for the appetisers

10 STARS to Pizza Pi. Fantastic view on the water while eating incredible pizza that can also be made with dietary restrictions all while creating unforgettable memories with alcohol? It doesn't even stop there... Rare to find, their customer service is beyond exceptional and deserves a globally recognized award. Do yourself a favor and make this place a goal to visit. You deserve it, and Pizza Pi deserves it more :) Can't even describe how satisfied I am with this experience.

Such a unique and unforgettable experience! Enjoying delicious pizza in the middle of the water, surrounded by stunning islands and crystal clear views, was absolutely surreal. The pizza was tasty, the frozen drinks were refreshing, and the whole vibe was just perfect. 10/10 recommend adding this spot to your bucket list, it’s a must do!

What a cool spot for pizza and drinks! We visited after a shark diving experience and it was the best pizza I’ve had on island. The boat is colorful, staff is so friendly, and the seating is so cool, with floats right in the beautiful water. My only complaint is that I don’t own my own boat to go enjoy it more often!

Objectively good pizza and even more fun with the pickup/delivery service at Christmas Harbor. Worth eating at - be sure to order and plan ahead! Make it at sunset if the weather is right. ;)

Pizza was WAY better than the Ritz-Carlton pizza!!! Amazing food and great service. The snorkeling right off the boat was incredible. We saw close to 100 turtles in the course of an hour or two.

We visited Pizza pi by boat, and sat on their floats for lunch. The food was great, the drinks incredible and the staff o so welcoming. Would recommend that anyone in the area makes the trip out there. Remember to take your snorkeling gear along as between pizzas you will definitely want to take a dip. We saw schools of fish and multiple stingrays, all meters from the floats. Again an incredible experience.

Stopped in randomly for a quick lunch and wine. Wine and staff was great. Very welcoming and gave tons of recommendations for the island. I got the pasta with Alfredo it could've used a little more salt and flavor but I did eat it all. My husband got the fish and sweet potato fries. They were the best sweet potato fries we've ever had lol we talked about them the whole trip

All around excellent experience. Had the blackened Lionfish tacos and a ribeye steak. Perfectly seasoned, a tiny bit of bite to the blackening. Lionfish was tender, cooked just right. Dinner special was a ribeye steak with pizzaioli sauce. This was supposed to be a 14oz ribeye, but mine was at LEAST 24oz, cooked rare, exactly how I ordered it. Excellent cut of steak with nice marbling, well seasoned and topped with garlicky pizzaioli sauce with nicely roasted tomatoes, green and red peppers. Will definitely go there again when I'm on St Thomas again

I can't say enough good things about our dinner 9/29/25. We have been coming to St Thomas for 7 years and this was our 2nd time being their guest, we have a son with some food allergies and each time the staff has gone out of their way to makes sure he is safe and has something to eat. Our visit this year we had the pleasure of having Aaliyah sever us and she went above and beyond, she was perfect and communicated multiple times with the kitchen about the allergy and making sure everything came out perfect. The Twisted Cork is doing it right and we will be back!

Everything about this gem of a restaurant was excellent. The service, the cocktails and of course the food. I had grilled red snapper and my husband had vegan crab cake. Both exceptional. Please do not miss the bread pudding with bourbon maple house made ice cream.

We had a wonderful dinner here - the portions were massive (almost unnecessarily so), flavors and textures were incredible, and it was a wonderful way to end our trip. Highlight for me was the salmon risotto, hands down. The salmon was cooked to perfection - still soft and practically melt in your mouth in the center. The risotto was not too overpowering. And I loved the onion crisps - the crunchiness balanced out the dish.

The food was delicious. We had the lion fish and chips and the twisted burger. We loved both. The lion fish is a firm and not fishy fish, well battered and the burger was large and flavorful. For dessert we shared the ballpark pie and it was a must order. Must visit when in Frenchtown.

Good restaurant within walking distance to our hotel. We arrived shortly after opening and had the restaurant to ourselves. Nice atmosphere with impeccable service! The Lionfish and Chips were ok, Chicken Caprese sandwich was awesome.

Omg! My friends and I love sushi. We're very picky about it too. Good is hands down some of the best sushi I've ever had and I've been to Japan! The waiters were lovely as well! There was a mix of live music and Taj DJing. So fun! We decided that while on this trip, if we can't decide on what to eat, we're coming back here lol We had fried rice, the saltfish pate, a Philly, a California, the cricket and the volcano roll! All fabulous! The fried rice was unlike anything we'd had before! The only thing that was slightly amiss were the drinks but we literally don't care because the sushi was so freaking good!!!

Went here last night. Nice atmosphere. Open, but some privacy in the booths. Wait staff was very nice and helpful with the menu and specials. My fiancé had teriyaki chicken ( which was excellent, flavors spot-on!). I had one of the sushi specials. Smooth Kriminal. Food was phenomenal. Presentation was awesome. Staff were very friendly. It’s a great place to celebrate a special occasion or if you’re just in the mood for some great Asian food. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Super good but SUPER SLOW service also very expensive. The food is excellent but prepare yourself for a 3 hour dinner. I am not sure why it takes so long as it has never been busy when I’ve gone. I would 11/10 recommend the oyster appetizer- so freaking good. Their presentations are nice with the sauce writing for the name of the sushi rolls. Fish tastes very fresh. They have a large menu so everyone can find something they like. Staff is also very nice just need to figure out how to make their service faster!!!!!

From the moment we walked in we experienced such welcoming hospitality, but the amazing experience we had didn’t stop there. The atmosphere here is a huge vibe, with moody lighting, comfortable booths stocked with fluffy pillows, lovely coy fish pond, and beautiful live music to complete the ambiance. Now to the food. We started our meal with the sushi pizza, recommended by our wonderful server which was delicious. Following that we ordered 3 different rolls all of which were amazing in their own ways. Finally we had dessert which was very tasty and the chef brought us a complimentary sorbet to try which was made in house and that too was lovely.

Buddah Sushi hit the spot. It was the 1st place we ate at when we got to the island. The owner was super cool and hung out with us for a bit. Our waitress made you feel like family. I was there with my 2 nieces (15 and 17). We're vegan and loved everything we ate!

Buddha Sushi Lounge is by far one of our favorite restaurants on the island. The sushi is absolutely incredible, and the chicken wings appetizer is a must-try! The service is always fantastic, and we make it a point to dine here every time we visit St. Thomas. It’s a family favorite and wonderfully welcoming for all ages.

Fresh sushi served daily! Had a great experience w my wife and her friends. Drinks were on point and the service was outta this world nice 💯 The spicy sushi rolls were on point; spice was very authentic! The calamari had great taste and the sweet chili sauce was great to dip it in 👌🏾 I really loved the Fire Snapper and Parrot Fish rolls. Outstanding experience ✊🏾

Place was great! Food was great! Service was great! I could do without the blue lighting where we were sitting! Couldn't see the food I was eating, which I want to add again, was amazing! The color matters a great deal to the presentation! Thank you for a great meal!

Havana is an upscale fancy resturants. Yes it it really dark in there where you can barely see the menu but the food is absolute tasty. I can say it is over priced but that's what you get for an upscale resturant. I would defiantly come back here.

Being from Texas the serving sizes are SMALL. This was $54 including 2 local beers. I was looking for a Whataburger after. I ate solo so I would have been REALLY pissed if my wife was here.

We just had our son's wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was wonderful. Donna coordinated the event, with the great kitchen and wait staff everything was top notch. We had 25 people, a four course menu with several options for each course. All courses came out in a timely, but not rushed, manner. I was really impressed with the main course since 90% of us ordered the skirt steak - these all were cooked to perfection and all of us got our food at near the same time, without hot plates or cold food. The food was great, the views were amazing and everyone had a great time. The restaurant is open air with ceiling fans and dress is very casual - you are on vacation!

Thought the SandBar sounded good from the reviews, but it could not be further from the truth. Once we sat down it took over 10 minutes for someone just to order our drinks, and another 10 to bring them. Food wise, the only thing I enjoyed was the mac and cheese. I found the fish flavorless, as did my husband. It was overpriced for the quality and quantity of food we received. We will not be eating here again.

Never had sea bass? Don't like sea bass? Try it here and you'll fall in love. The menu pricing is on the high side but also consider they must source their ingredients at a price and pay on the property they occupy. Service is flawless and definitely a go to if you are staying on the resort.

Incredible food and artisan drinks. Havana Blue has an upscale atmosphere with breathtaking views of the ocean. A little pricey but very much worth every cent because the restaurant itself was a bit of paradise within paradise.

Amazing gourmet tacos! And the Hunter passion cocktail was perfect after a warm day. Incredible friendly people too especially Gemini the bartender (love her 🙂) and Jersey too. Just a really fun place with great food, casual atmosphere and again, friendly.

Made a visit to Lime Inn on St John on November 5th 2025. What a great place and great bartender named Tommy. Drinks were great and we had 2 tacos each. I can say the K Pop taco was great, but the Tuna Matata was absolutely my favorite.

Beautiful little place with high ceilings and a very comfortable breeze, even in the warm early evenings. 15+ different tacos. 5 different types of quesdillas. The guak is amazing. After a long day of beach hopping we came to this gem before taking the Car Barge back to St Thomas. Parking is hard in this area. This joint offers free parking to those who stop in for a drink or food. The drinks were amazing! Did I mention they have weekly happy hour specials? This time they had buy one, get one free drinks. I will def be back. Special shout out to Tommy!!! Bartender extraordinaire!!!!

Sat at the bar and Tommy was fabulous! Great drinks, delicious food, and Tommy’s a wonderful and fun bartender. We’ve been to the island many times and can’t believe we’ve never been to the lime in before. It’ll be one of our regular stops from now on.

Friendly owner & staff. Great service and food was brought out quickly ! The Virgin mango colata was amazing ! We came for the key lime pie and they put their own twist to it and it was by far the best dessert we have had on the islands ! Tacos and quesadillas were fabulous! A staple in the Virgin island as the locals told us it's a much needed stop . So we did. Burger and fries are good, slightly unseasoned but definitely fresh, fries are great . Service impeccable, our server made our boat very enjoyable and by the vibe of the room, we weren't the only ones. The room had the beach feel,open door concept with high volume traffic coming in and out. That says it all, job well done,🤙 we even hit up your Sy John location it's wa so memorable . Thank you

I'll give 5 stars which I don't normally give. Everything has to be perfect to get 5 stars, and it was. The food was great. I had a bacon cheeseburger with eggs on it. Amazing. The drinks are jaw dropping. Best drinks I have ever had anywhere in my life. Not sure if that's just how it is on STT or how it is at Tap & Still, but the bar has been set extremely high. Painkiller. Get one. Or two. The atmosphere is so chill. Good vibes. They had 2 bartenders, a girl and a guy. Guy grew up 2 towns away from me in Connecticut. The prices were good. Cost $100 for 2 people to eat till we were full and have 4 drinks and left a big tip. We will attempt to stop back before our trip is over.

Food is completly mediocre even when tipsy or drunk. Def a place to come and hang out. Outside and inside dinning and pick up and go as well. Wings taste old and too oily and same with fries. Stopped here because it was the only place near by with wings. Customer service is good and atmosphere is great.

Amazing service, incredible kitchen, fresh draft beer; what else do you need? There’s seating inside and outside, the ceiling is high and mighty, and so am I. A special nod to Robin, who is fast, efficient, witty, and very easy on the eyes. Tell your friends and neighbors.

This place was great. I had one of the best cheeseburger in a long time. My friend was head over heels about the hand cut fries. Really have to say the highlight was the hospitality of the staff there. We had a nightmare of a commute to the island, but the two servers were very friendly and made us feel welcome. This place was such a nice surprise! We were shopping and of course we all got hungry but wanted something different, and this was the place for that! Soon as we walked in we were greeted and everyone was so friendly. The views were amazing and the food was top notch! I had the eggs Benedict and everyone else, French toast and there were no plates left with food on them when we were done. I highly recommend them to anyone going into red hook, you won't be disappointed! Looking forward to coming back on our next visit.

We loved this place! The burgers and fries were some of the best we’ve had. The funnel cake was a fun dessert. The drinks were on point and the service was great. We will be there again before we leave.

This is how great this place is, first of all I don’t do a lot of reviews and I usually wait until I am done. The ciopinno is absolutely amazing and I have had many cioppinos, from the birthplace of cioppino in San Francisco and other parts of the country. The flavors of the sauce is wonderful, spicy but not too spicy, not over savory. The seafood was cooked to perfection. My husband is currently eating the osso bucco and it is very very good. We have had our share of both of these dishes and so far this is the best. 5 stars all around, food, service and atmosphere. The only things we didn’t really like is when we received the bill, we were automatically charged a credit card fee and gratuity, they didn’t give us the option to pay cash or add the gratuity:(

We had a great experience here. We didn’t have a reservation so we sat at the bar for about 20 minutes waiting for a table. We had the best time talking to the bartender, Albert. Such a nice guy! The time flew by. Once we got to the table our main waitress was, Lola, but almost all the wait staff stopped by to check on us and see how our experience was. The food was top notch. Table side Caesar salad was amazing and both our pasta dishes were some of the best we’ve had. I would highly recommend coming here for the food and the amazing service. Will come back when we visit again!

Staff is very professional, they were also prepared for the power outage. Excellent food, soup served from an old school pot which was a nice touch. The restaurant is overwhelmed with paintings of different styles. A little pricey but the experience is worth it!

Very cute and nostalgic place. Drinks were amazing, I had a cosmo. Unfortunately we found a long string of hair in our appetizer that wasn’t ours so we cancelled the actual dinner food. My partner no longer wanted to eat there. I’m sure it was probably good but that dampened the experience for us. Also wait staff is very serious and not as warm. But maybe that’s the norm there.

Consistently delicious with incredible service and an intimate atmosphere. We return for girl’s nights, date nights, birthdays, and just an excuse to eat delicious Italian food. The table-side Caesar is delicious and fun to watch, the pastas and entrees are always delicious, and the espresso martinis and tiramisu are my favorite after dinner treats on island. They also make you feel super special for birthdays, with a big sparkler and music, the whole restaurant seems to chime in to celebrate with you. The Alfredo dish is from a graduation lunch I went to on the 23rd of May, and a week later, I went back on the 30th for my birthday, and had the Red Sauce dish!! Both dishes were delectable!! The garlic bread was good also, but I learned on my birthday that you must eat it right away because if you don't, it loses its crispness and becomes soft. However, when you take it home and reheat it, it gains its crispness back!! That part is a good thing so because if it wasn't like that and you reheated it, it would be way too hard to eat... Will I go back again, DEFINITELY SO!! They also have a walk-up window in the back, outside (on Back Street), so that if you can't dine in, you can order out or order ahead and pick-up!!!

We were sent here on the recommendation from a bartender and I am so glad we listened. This place is amazing. From the attentive staff, to the fresh food, the art pieces and table side bananas foster. It was all perfect. Yes, it’s pricey but you get what you pay for and it was worth every penny. The restaurant was filled with large parties but we never felt neglected because there was only two of us. The food was to die for. We started with the table side Cesar salad, hands down best I have ever had. We will definitely be eating here again when we return to the island.

We were actually headed somewhere else after walking through the Passage. However, we saw this down a side street. It wasn't too busy and the red umbrellas had some must needed shade. They have cold bottled Presidente and Ahi tuna. Doesn't take much more than that for this weary traveler.

Great recommendation from my friend Dave Cooper. The waitress recommended the fish tacos, my brother tried the Ahi tacos. We swapped a taco each. If you ordered the Ahi tacos you would not be disappointed. But if you tried both the fish tacos are best!

Side street pub is an amazing restaurant! Get the Mahi tacos or the Caribbean chicken sandwich, both are fantastic! The staff was wonderful, talking to the owners and their family who work there two was really fun! I would definitely recommend going to this restaurant at least once for lunch any time you’re on St. Thomas!

Wow this is a hidden gem! We took a chance when our original choice was closed and we are so glad we did! The owner and waitresses were amazing. The owner even told us if our son, who is going to college on the island, needed anything at all to come see her. The breakfast was fabulous! So good that we went back for a snack the next day and ended up getting the fish tacos. I got the shrimp tacos, and My Husband got the ahi tacos. Omg amazing!!!!!!!! Excellent on drinks and cocktails however the food specifically the appetizer ( wings) were all under cooked and we have 4 orders 😩! Josh our server was amazing ! I’ll definitely give them an another try one more time in a few months!

I ordered the smoked turkey, pulled pork, beans, and fries. I was really excited about getting some good barbecue with some smoked flavor, but I was misled. The pork was watery with hardly any flavor, I guess you have to put a lot of sauce on it. But it didn't even taste smoked. The turkey was good. The mac and cheese looked really good in the skillet. Pictures online, unfortunately the noodles tasted like pickle water. I'm not sure what was wrong with the mac and cheese. I mean if you like pickles it would be great for you. But I'm not a pickle lover. And the mac and cheese came out separately so no pickles touched it. I was sure. I liked how the fries looked with the potato skin still on them. Unfortunately they were soggy and not fresh. The atmosphere is really cool and I suggest coming here for some drinks. But getting food somewhere else. The red sangria was good. If you like cats, this is the place for you. We had cats sitting on the bench with us while we were trying to eat.

The brisket Mac and cheese was awesome! I really enjoyed the turkey sandwich too. Skip the Texas toast though...it plain a d we didn't think it was worth getting again. We sat at the bar and David was terrific...top notch service and friendly. The environment was fun, but doesn't have good views of the water. I'm not sure what they normally have for draft beers as the machines were down, but they did have some good speciality drinks and canned beers. I'd definitely return!

The food is delicious and fresh! The Mahi sandwich is my favorite and the service is great! We highly recommend their drink selection. Everything was great! Try the potato macaroni salad.

Jason the bartender was on point. …..and for those of you that complain about the cats and flies maybe you shouldn’t go to the islands and eat outdoors. Find a place that has indoor dining. This place has both options.

Food was nasty/unpleasant. Ask the waiter how many wings come in an order, he said 10,but I only received 8, I asked why, he said it because your wings are big, and for big wings you only get 8. The wing were regular size wings and was never told this when i ordered, nevertheless they were didn't taste good and force myself to try and eat them. My party order brisket and couldn't finish their food as well, do to taste and dryness of the food.

We went to the Smoking Rooster on recommendation from a local. The food was delicious and the service was great! We had a party of 8 and we ordered a variety of entrees. The smoke pot roast po’ boy was delicious and you needed a fork to eat it. The brisket beans were amazing in my opinion. Several of our party got the Mac and Cheese and added a variety of add ons. The Mac and Cheese is served in a hot cast iron. The loaded fries were huge and so yummy. Two in our party got the smoked wings and they were nice size and really good. Our server was great and although some may not appreciate it, I did. We had several in our party who are old enough to drink on the island but just over 18. He carded each one of them and when they asked for more drinks he asked me (momma) if that was okay. I appreciated that he cared enough to do that! Be sure to add the Smoking Rooster to your list.

Señor Pizza Is A Must-Try for Tourists! We ordered a Meat Lovers pizza and some cheese bread from Señor Pizza, and both were fantastic! The Meat Lovers pizza was packed with toppings, had just the right amount of sauce, and hit every mark you’d want in a good pizza. The cheese bread was simple but done right, cheesy, delicious, and served with marinara sauce. Beyond the food, the service was great. The staff was friendly and attentive over the phone, and the delivery driver was super nice. If you’re visiting and craving some quality pizza, they do deliver, and we definitely recommend ordering from here!

Ordered delivery from here while visiting Red Hook. It is open later for delivery than many other restaurants in the area which was a big factor for our first order. However, the pizza is so delicious we ordered twice during our visit! Delivery was also not a long wait. Both of our orders were delivered within 45 minutes.

Ordered delivery so not sure about the atmosphere. Be prepared to have leftovers, plenty of portions. Calzone was awesome. Do recommend.

I highly recommend Senor Pizza. My wife and I were on St Thomas for a week and we ordered from here twice. The pizza was unexpectedly delicious and one of the most affordable meals in the island. The 12" pizza feed the both of us perfectly. Both times we ordered, the food was ready in less than 15 minutes. We ordered chicken and green olives the first time, and chicken and black olives the second time; both were fantastic. Red Hook is a busy place and there aren't really any good parking options, but that seems to be the case all around the island, so I can't fault them for that. The inside seems to be under some level of renovation as though they are trying to expand their dining area, but over all it's a charming little pizza joint in the middle of the Caribbean.

Very very good pizza with fresh toppings. They were so sweet when I called and they called me when they were on their way. The driver was very very kind. If I ever come back to St Thomas we will definitely order again! Thank you for your kindness

100% recommend their pizza and wings. We ordered the mid sliced pepperoni pizza and large wings. The pizza was delicious, cheesy, and thin crust. We started eating it as soon as it hit our table and kept making cheese strings. Even once it cooled down a bit it held its awesome taste. As a wings lover, the wings were so juicy and filled with flavor, even the ranch was good. They could be crispier, but they're already delicious as is. Both of the people at the counter were so nice, and gave great customer service. Definitely a great spot.

Parking was a little crammed but besides that the vibe was good! People were nice and the portions of food given to us WAS PHENOMENAL!!!! It was about $44 total and we are going to be eating on this for two days at least! I got the veggie pasta which was creamy and the veggies were so fresh and seasoned well! My man go the stewed chicken and we both got the seasoned rice and peas and plantains for our sides. Pasta doesn’t come with sides so it was $3 extra for each side for mine. But overall amazing food and reasonably priced for the portions!

Limited parking for under 10 cars. Cash only but they have an ATM on the site. The restaurant itself doesn't look fancy at all but the food is amazing!!! We enjoyed bbq ribs (they serve good local fungi side dish as well) and veggie pasta. Delicious! They have cats roaming around, you can pet but don't feed them.

Our second visit here and it was fabulous again. Last visit we had red snapper, today the pork chop with seasoned rice and beans Mac n cheese and the coleslaw. I’ve never had coleslaw with raisins but it was so refreshing.

The food was amazing. That sauce for the fish madd good! We as Native Black Americans get so excited when we visit our people across the waters. Its an exciting experience for us. Every part of this island is beautiful. Very hard working people.

Came here a few years ago and the food was solid. Easily one of the best meals we had in STT. Came back tonight and it was trash. I had the salmon, rice, and plantains. The salmon tasted generic. The rice and beans tasted spoiled. The plantains were sour. All thrown into one big atrofian container with no separation. I ate the salmon, took a few bites of the plantain and threw away the rest.

Brooks is 10/10 the best local vibe/food/service on the island!! Parking was small and we weren’t sure as you will block someone in or get blocked in but everyone communicated when need be and all was well!! Food was phenomenal and service was amazing! They sang happy birthday to my girl and offered us to come back and they will cook our fresh catch from our charter trip 🥰

It seemed like the staff was undersupported that day, but they worked very hard to give us a good experience. Their fish tacos are amazing. Oysters on the half she'll are market price and worth ordering. Before lunch they offer endless mimosas, so that's another plus.

Absolutely amazing place right at the harbor of Red Hook. Highly recommend going here for some really good daily caught fish or lobster. On occasion they have an extra sushi bar with a personal sushi chef. The shrimp are super fresh and crisp. If you only have 1 day in red hook, that's the place to dine! (And get their bushwacker inspired cocktail with peanut butter 😉)

Loved the food at this restaurant !!! Very tasty drinks and the environment is pretty awesome too. We had the chance to see the guys come back from their fishing trip with GIGANTIC lobsters but we had already ordered the whole fried fish which was outstanding. The calamari was delicious but honestly I was expecting a little more. Anyway, really cool place right on the water.

Waitress was very nice and helped us get out on time to catch the last Safari bus. My fish tacos were good. Hubby's grilled Mahi sandwich was ok but he really likes cocktail sauce and ended up having to go get some himself.

This place, right near the docks at Yacht Haven Grande, is an open air restaurant featuring unique food items and drinks. Our food tasted good but we thought it was a little pricey. Plenty of parking. Close to the cruise ships at West Indian Dock if you're walking. I loved the 5 and 6 foot tarpons.

This restaurant is always a dining success. It’s a GoTo for St Thomas if you need to eat well with family and friends or have a business meeting with meal. The location is Harbor side with an upscale marina behind you filled with exotic yachts which give it an upscale feel during lunch as well as during diner. This excellent location also allows you to view downtown Charlotte Amalie, Saint Thomas which can be stunning during the day at lunch as well at night with the highlights of the downtown and hillside city lights. You can’t beat this Water side, urban, marina setting with a view of the island city side to your left and beautiful people and excellent bar to your right. Along with great location is the consistency of delicious food. The things you must try are the corn appetizer , the calamari appetizer, any of the fresh fish dishes and my favorite-the quinoa salad( to which I always add a fresh fish protein). Enjoy

This place was a life saver after eating at a few other places. Best Cuban sandwich I have ever had. I ordered this sandwich on 3 separate occasions in a 7 day stay... On the 4th visit I had decided to try a burger as they do not offer the sandwich at dinner, mind you this is a 2/3 lb burger, but it was a little undercooked. However they fixed it and comped a meal for two and were super cool about it. Has a nice view of the ships too...

Food and drinks are really good. The location is super chill and relaxing. Got the quinoa salad with mahi mahi. One of the best salads I’ve ever eaten. The strawberry lemonade is really refreshing. For alcoholics, the Spanish lemonade and strawberry basil lemonade were both really good

Fantastic place! If you want a beautiful view of plants and an amazing experience you will want to go here! The owner is extremely friendly and loves to chat and get to know you. Or just likes to make you strong drinks- anyways, it's really something. You go down a long hall way (that has no roof) and sit into porch that is the bar area. It was raining when we were sitting there, but there's just enough roof to support the dryness. Try it- you'll be surprised.

My wife and I came across this place while walking about. We had to get back to our ship in less than an hour and a half! It was too bad as we were looking for a place exactly like this. The owner gave us a history lesson (which was really cool) and met his little dog. If we had more time we would have definitely stayed and had a few and spent all of our time there and in that area. Next time!

Very quaint little place. I'd say it was quiet but the "local" drunk at the bar didn't know how to stop talking...He reminded me of Newnan from Sienfeld.... in appearance and personality. Food is limited but tasty. Don't go if you're in a hurry. But if you need a place to grab a beer or margaritas and some conch fritters. Pop on in. I'd definitely go back.

My husband and I stumbled upon this cozy, unique beer garden while visiting in St. Thomas. Besides being absolutely gorgeous with lush greenery, plants, and flowers, we met Nala and his wife, the owners. We had the best time talking, learning the history of the island, drinking beer (all of Nala's recommendations were tasty and flavorful), and we even got to see a bird show while we were there. When you visit Beauchert's, you have to try the Bushwhacker. It is literally the best mixed drink I have ever tasted. This place is a must-visit when you come to St. Thomas! It is affordable and the drinks are the best in St. Thomas. We will be back.

Welcome to the 80's. This place is terrible!! Liz the owner is a controlling terrible owner. Garbage food over priced. Wish you could see the wall of shame . Spinach from china frozen, as example as well as all the other frozen vegetables and local fish that is frozen and not local. Same fish but far from fresh and local. Don't be fooled. Under paid staff paid in cash to cut corners and real employees never get a head because it looks like they don't work. She's an american slave owner to American and foreign employee's. Disgraceful human being!!!

Delish! Great service, amazing drinks and food. So happy we ate here, had lobster tail and some delicious sides--hollandaise asparagus/mushrooms, others tried and LOVED the lobster mac, calamari and bread basket. Needless to say we left very happy. Chris was a great waiter, made our last big meal on the island amazing!

The food is 5 star! Service, speed, quality all Excellent! What is a 1 star is the owner/ or maybe it's the owners wife, she sits at a table barking orders to the employees making them feel inadequate. I was really close to blowing up on her about they way she makes the employees feel. You could see the restaurant vibe turn when she walked in the door. If the husband was smart he would make his wife stay home, and just hand her a paycheck or some more jewelry. # stay out the way

Food is horrible. Staff was nice. I paid over 75 dollars for two waters, crab cake appetizer which included two crab cakes the size of silver dollars, main dish was fish and a pasta dish for my girl. The pasta was worse than hamburger helper plus the noodles were mushy and the fish had no flavor. I am not exaggerating. This place is WACK! Eat there if you want they will be happy to see you get suckered. It was full of taste dead people or suckas like me

The food was a good quality bar food. Drinks were strong and at the bar the vibe was chill during the day. Views were so nice. Our bartender Brad was the typical tough dry matter of fact fella you would expect when dealing with tourists all the time. He eventually warmed up. Went there twice. Highly suggest.

We came on a Sunday around 7pm and had no wait to get in. Food was excellent. They had a good selection of pizza, salads, sandwiches, and entrees, as well as a good dessert list. Their drink list was very good as well with lots of options. Nice open air seating overlooking ocean views. I believe you needed reservations to get in the more secluded section, but we were happy with our seats as a walk-in. We had Ahi Tuna Salad, Teriyaki Chicken with Pineapple, a Burger, and the Key Lime Crème Brûlée. All were excellent!

We had a fantastic experience at Sunset Grille! The food was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our server was quick, efficient, and attentive without being overbearing, which made the evening all the more enjoyable. But the real star? The view. Watching the sun dip below the horizon while dining by the water was absolutely breathtaking. Food was good, views were AMAZING but the service was lacking. Waitress was friendly but had to ask multiple times for a refill on drinks. She filled drinks at 3 other tables around us but forgot us even though I had asked 3 times for 1st refill and 2 or 3 times for 2nd refill. But being seated right next to the ocean and having dinner during sunset is recommended

This place exceeded my expectations. The stuffed mushroom dish was delicious and filling - didn’t need to have the pork belly appetizer, which I forgot to capture before we devoured it. Really cool little stop while in St. John. Ordered the Asian Tuna Salad for me and Bacon Cheeseburger with fries for my partner. The tuna steak was really delicious, the salad part needed some spunk to it so I requested an extra dressing and the addition of Feta cheese and it made all the difference! Would definitely suggest the salad with the additions. Very generous portion. The burger was also a great portion. It was ordered to be cooked medium and came out more medium well, so suggestion would be a medium rare if you like a more tender burger! Staff was very nice but it was definitely understaffed. We waited 15 minutes after being seated just to be addressed as there was one bartender and only one server noticeable on a Saturday at 4:30. We did see another couple leave that was there prior to us arriving and was waiting to be served also so might just need some fine-tuning as far as having enough staff available. The atmosphere was nice. Restaurant also sells clothing and has a store attached. I would certainly return and possibly try other items off the menu. Enjoyed eating on the patio!

A quaint little place to grab breakfast before hitting the beach. Outdoor tables and chicks to feed. Always quick and a great coffee selection. Ate here two days in a row.

This is a review for the venue and coffee shop and bar only. We did not eat here! The coffee shop was nice, all the basics plus coffees with Carib flair. Staff in shop and at bar were terrific… friendly, fun, personable and fast! The outdoor bar is nice size and comfortable. Drink was small, but good! Nice outdoor seating area. Little park with local vendors selling souvenirs adjacent to dining area…. Good place to stop for a morning coffee and/or cocktail on St. John!

While visiting St John, I came here for lunch and dinner. That's how good it was. Just really good food in great ambiance. Right?I recommend coming here for dinner So you can watch a beautiful sunset while you eat. Everything we had was great and the service was awesome. Can get a little hot but they have fans to try and make your experience more pleasant.

Hands down, the best place for breakfast on St. John's. I'm not even going to entertain another option. We took a taxi here everyday for breakfast from the Westin. They didn't disappoint at all. I hate I can't remember my waitress's name because she was nothing short of awesome. Ask about food, she answered. Ask about entertainment, she knew. As about souvenirs, she directs you. Ask about a hike, she details them for you. Each day, she was helpful. A Cruz Bay gem. Everything she suggested, we did. Ok back to the food. Amazing! The 1st day I ordered the Short stack pancakes 🥞 Never again. 2 of the biggest pancakes ever. I didn't even eat dinner because I was still full. From that point on, I ordered a single pancake 🥞 😋 So good. So fluffy. The bacon 🥓 is top tier. Very thick and fried to perfection 👌🏽 The home fries are seasoned just right. Not spicy was let's you know it's a member of the spice family. My husband floated between the classic breakfast and the meat lovers omelette 😋 Both were great! Ummmm, long story short; EAT HERE

I didn’t personally care for the fish, but the portions were good. There was live music. My wife would want me to be kind, so Ill say that the live music inspired me to pursue my dreams. If that person was being paid money to do, um, That… then how can I ever tell myself that Im not good enough to do something. It’s possible it transcended sound and impacted my taste buds, and if so, my apologies to the chef for the 4-stars instead of 5.

We’ve been here a couple of times for breakfast. Always good food and the service is fantastic. Great atmosphere, especially at the bar or tables on the patio.

Look up "perfect beach bar," and you probably find a picture of Dinghy's! This is one of my favorite spots in the USVI. Delicious food (esp the poke), ice-cold beers, perfectly-comcocted Painkillers, friendly staff, and toes-in-the-sand dining, all right on beautiful Honeymoon Beach on Water Island. A must-do while spending any amount of time in St Thomas, even if you are only in for a port day. The Water Island Ferry is a short walk from the Cruise Port at Charlotte or a short cab ride from the Havensight Cruise Pier. The ferry leaves every hour on the hour and only takes about 10 minutes. Once at the Water Island pier, a free shuttle (tip the driver, please!) takes you right to Dinghy's! Stop debating and go!

Quick ferry ride over from St Thomas. Had a great time and saw plenty of sea turtles. Bang bang shrimp is phenomenal! Fairly inexpensive to rent a beach chair and umbrella

Visited Water Island, Honeymoon Beach and Dinghy's Beach Bar & Grill on my first full day in St. Thomas. Dinghy's is brilliant, they offer a shuttle from the ferry directly to their slice of heaven. You can rent beach chairs, umbrellas, grab a drink and some of the best bang bang shrimp and fish tacos all from Dinghy's! The live music is perfect, as a solo traveler I felt very safe, and the bartenders are friendly. Service can be a bit disorganized and slow but on an island, where do you really need to be? Suuuuch a cool setting. Great food and great drinks right on the beach. Service was also perfect. Being literally on the beach made this super enjoyable. Next time in the area I will certainly be back. 10/10 would recommend. Go here if you're in the area. You won't regret it.

I am rating this beach as The Best in Water Island and St Thomas! The beachside restaurant was ok. Not outstanding but ok. We ordered several drinks including their classic creamy dinghy 🍹 and the bartender was very generous with those 😉😂 we also ordered the fries, chicken strips and bang bang shrimp but The star of the show was the crystal clear beach 🏝️ Oh my Gosh 😍

What a great bar restaurant.not cheap but really reasonable and the food was really good. The fried fish sandwich was excellent. The beach is so clean and calm. Just a great day at a quiet beautiful beach. 20$ water taxi rd trip to Water island and a free shuttle to Dinghys. The owner is the driver 😎 . Our favorite private beach in all the Caribbean. Plenty to do. Snorkleing w the turtles , kayaks or just chill.

Great food and drinks right on the beach! Bonus that you can rent beach chairs, umbrellas, and more! The beach itself is gorgeous and having easy access to the restaurant by dinghy or golf cart is great!

Sun Dog Cafe, located in the middle of Mongoose Junction, is a great spot with excellent staff and food. They serve some of the best steak and shrimp tacos, as well as ahi tuna, on the island.

We spent 2 days on St. John, and found this place on accident looking for another place with pastries that was closed in the same area. We went simple both times and got bacon, egg and cheese muffin sandwiches with fried potatoes. They were delicious. I don’t even like fried potatoes but I liked these. Cool atmosphere, and good vibes.

My wife and I had a great lunch at Sun Dog Cafe! The ahi tuna poke bowl was fantastic, and I enjoyed the grilled mahi tacos. Waiter was attentive and when between two dishes, he steered me in the right direction when noting the mahi was local. A great spot for cool drinks and flavorful food when shopping at Mongoose Junction or after a day at the beach!

Every time I’m in St. John I eat at Sun Dog and it NEVER disappoints!! Eggs benedict is my favorite breakfast meal and their Blue Claw Crab Benedict was the best I’ve ever had! Plus, the staff is always so friendly. You have to check this place out next time you’re visiting the USVIs.

Ate here on our first day in St. John and loved it so much we ended up coming back almost every day. The food is great, the drinks are delicious, and the staff is very friendly. It’s definitely a must-do on your USVI vacation.

The food here was DELICIOUS. Tuna tacos with wasabi aioli is a must try. Service was wonderful, quick, and easy. Loved this for a quick lunch while exploring the island.

Mahi and jerk tacos were very good along with our dip app. The service was outstanding too. Key lime pie tasted more like vanilla and it was the only slight miss of all the dishes.

While we were wowed with the plating and presentation of each dish, we weren’t super wowed with the flavor of each dish. It wasn’t bad by any means, I think we had just expected more! The Pappardelle was very good, but the other dishes we weren’t blown away with (aside from the presentation, which was great). We felt like there are better places on the island to get more out of your money! Still a great atmosphere and good drinks, just not a place we feel like is a must.

Everything went right at this restaurant. Just walked up and host found us a place said it would be a few minutes, we were waiting out by the street and it started raining and the host came and got us and said he wasn't going to have us waiting in the rain and got a table ready immediately. Mark and the girls running the bar were great people. Food was outstanding with everything made in house and I mean everything. The breads, the pasta, everything! Will be back again!

The drink selection was excellent From the cocktail options to the wine options. The menu offers different choices for each course of the meal. Many of the choices were hard to make due to the options all sounding delicious. My friend and I decided to split some dishes that we both wanted to taste, and this worked out very well. The duck dish was amazing, but rather filling to have as a second course.

Coming from NYC with a wide selection of fine dining & food similar to this, I truly did not expect to be blown away with the food at Extra Virgin Bistro. I was wrong. Everything was spectacular. For $100 you get a 3 course meal that is the perfect amount of food. Every dish was cooked perfectly. I recommend the Ricotta or Duck Confit as a starter and the Wild Mushroom Pappardelle as the second course. I had the Filet Mignon as the final course, which was cooked perfectly, but you really can get anything here and be satisfied. The cocktails were also a standout here. Very unique. Mike, our server, was constantly checking on us and giving us recommendations as to what to order, and he definitely steered us in the right direction. One of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend.

My husband and I came here for my birthday dinner and it was our 2nd time visiting. Had a fantastic experience. The service was great, my martini was delicious, and all courses came out timely and were perfection.

So yes the meal is expensive and the place is next to a road between two parking lots but... The food is incredible! Our reservation was later so street traffic was non existent and everything outside the restaurant just faded away as we contemplated the selections before us. The confit duck first course was the best duck I've had. The gnocchi and Italian sausage was second course. It was really good but after the duck it paled a little :-). Main course was a beef short rib and wow it was worth the hit to the cholesterol! A fantastic experience!

This was definitely a highlight of our trip. 3 courses for $100. We started with calamari, ricotta and honey which was outstanding, get the honeycomb, duck leg confit was to die for, the mushroom pappardelle was divine, I would fly the 6 hours just to eat it again, short rib with crispy polenta was so good, and the fettuccini was shrimp was fantastic. The dirty martini with their house made brine was exceptional.

Great cocktails! Nachos are terrific. My only suggestion is more than one kind of hot sauce. My enchiladas were good but didn’t have enough heat and spice, and the only hot sauce they gave me was way too hot. Staff is super friendly. So many tequila choices. Lots of veggie options.

Greengos is like a tall drink of water on a hot day. Very comfortable inside, delicious food coming out of the kitchen, and all the Tequila you could ever want. 🌮 🍺 🍹

The food was great, it definitely has a little bit of a kick to it. The atmosphere was very authentic and neat, just a little compact, but they did have outdoor seating. The margaritas were absolutely delicious! Overall, we had a great time. It was a really cool experience in a neat area of the city

Great find! Honestly Mexican is my favorite cuisine and this is the best I've had in years. Love the vibe too. My only note...turn the music up, you have a great play list.

Good Mexican food down Hibiscus Alley off the bayfront. They had a variety of protein choices and they had a tofu vegetarian option, the rice and beans are also vegetarian

Great food, fun margaritas, and a cute atmosphere! Only wish they stayed open later for dinner some nights!

The margaritas here are delicious! This is a fun little place to eat and drink in the historical section of Charlotte Amalie near the waterfront. Our server and bartender were friendly and attentive. I would recommend the beef enchiladas and burrito. The fish tacos were a bit dry, but overall this is a great place to go to.

Excellent service. Delicious food & great atmosphere. Both indoor & outdoor seating & reasonable prices. Isaac's coconut wings were exceptional, some of the best I've ever had anywhere.

We got the marg pizza, cheese bread, and 2 chickpea burgers with mayo and we were able to make it all vegan! No asking if the bread is safe, or if the mayo is safe… it’s all good to go ordering straight from the menu! We also ordered a flight of beers including IPAs and they were hands down THE BEST and smoothest IPAs I’ve ever tasted! 100% would recommend to anyone visiting St John’s.

Really enjoyed our dinner here, to get to it you have to walk back and upstairs. We were quickly seated and got in with a minute to spare for happy hour to save $2 per pint of their excellent craft beer. We got the buffalo wings to start and they were so juicy and delicious. Then we split the BBC pizza and it was amazing, fresh ingredients and a nice kick, all the flavors paired well together. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Definitely put this on your list of dinner spots in St John, esp if you enjoy good beer!

We stayed at the Westin St John and this restaurant was in the closest shopping center to the resort. Tried to eat somewhere else but they couldn’t accommodate a large party, but the folks at the Tap Room saved the day and made us feel super welcome. Their beer is awesome, especially the summer ale and toasted coconut brown, and their root beer is even better. Great wings, pizza, cocktails, etc. Definitely our favorite restaurant from our time on the island, so good we ate there twice in 5 days.

If you like beer, and I do, you'll love this place! Lots of choices brewed on site. Brown ale with coconut was my favorite. The food was excellent also. Fun local flare on pizza, the mahi sandwich was the bomb and the crab cake sandwich was good too.

Chill place to hangout over the harbor. Tried a few drinks and their meatball sub to start off with. After a few more drinks ordered a calzone and pizza. Meatball sub was definitely good!

This is a nice spot in Red Hook. The service was great, the atmosphere amazing. Classic Caribbean deck pub with great decor, right on the harbor. We watched the moon rise out of the ocean. Drinks were good but not quite ad good as Tap & Still. Our waitress agreed. Pizza and salad were good.

I've been here twice this week and haven't had a complaint on anything I've had to eat or drink. The food is so good! The Salmon Poke Bowl is a must try if you're looking for something light and fresh. The shrimp scampi pizza was perfectly cooked. The crust was crunchy, not doughy and floppy like you get in the States, and the flavors were amazing! The staff is also amazing! So friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend anyone stop in here for a bite to eat or a delicious frozen drink.

We checked reviews for this restaurant and were very pleased with the result. Understand that the directions guide you to the wrong place a parking lot. This restaurant is on the second floor of a shopping plaza. It’s mainly an outdoor restaurant with a bar directly in the middle as you walk up the stairs see picture. This seems to be a local’s spot. My kids were happy there was pizza on the menu. My wife ordered the ITP DELUXE, my kids ordered the CLASSIC CHEESE PIZZA with pepperoni and I have the TUNA POKE. Everything was on point and delicious. Brian our waiter was attentive and got our orders in quickly. They share bathroom’s which were disgusting, usually if you follow my reviews you know I take away a star for bad bathrooms. This one was shared so I really couldn’t. This restaurant is a hidden gem. Awesome service and food! I meant to write our waitresses name down and completely forgot! We ordered a couple drinks and the Shrimp for an appetizer. Then we shared the Turkey Chipotle Club. Both of them were SOOO good! We ordered a pizza and again SOOO good! We are very happy that we stopped here before getting a taxi back to our resort. Definitely recommend! I believe it is all outdoor seating which we usually always choose so we were happy. Also they have amazing views there! ** We loved the Beware of Attack Redneck sign!

We were looking for a place that had a view of the water, not too pricey, but still good food. This checked all those boxes. I would recommend the pizza, which is what we are. 1 large pizza- we had 4 toppings I think could feed 3 or 4 if everyone had drinks and shared an appetizer. They were out of 2 of the appetizers I wanted, but that sounded unusual.

Staff is super friendly, we ordered three pizzas and they were very good. It was after dark when we got there and ended up asking them to change our order to go because we were being eaten alive by the bugs. They offered some bug spray but we declined and they brought us our pizzas in boxes. Parking was a bit of a challenge but I think that appears to be most places on the island.

Food was excellent! Five star for a little island. Unfortunately, the service was the polar opposite. *Our server was not educated by the kitchen about the ingredients she had written down for her plate explanations. *Our server says to us while ordering our first two tapas, “Is that all you are getting? The chef wanted you to order all of our tapas at once”. What?! *Between our two orders of a tapas each, we sat at the table for more than ten minutes with no food or drinks while our carafe of sangria sat at the bar wait station. *and while waiting for our dessert, we watched our server fail at opening a bottle of wine and have to leave the floor to get another server to open the bottle. This caused our dessert order to take even longer than the time between our first and second tapas orders. The knock out blow was delivered by the hostess. We had just received our receipt (our check was over $100 per person) and were readying to leave. The hostess came over to “ask us how our meal had been”. We were politely extolling the virtues of our food and refrained from mentioning our negatives when the hostess interrupts us and asks us to leave asap because they had another group coming in and needed our table! We had a nice table, on the wall with the sand and Cruz Bay just beyond. However, there were many tables (not on the outside wall) available just inside of ours. I have worked in almost every position within a restaurant aside from owning one. It is NEVER okay to ask a customer to leave because they need the table for incoming patrons.

To begin... One thing to remember when visiting St. John... you're on an island, relax, everything takes a little longer. It's just part of the lifestyle. We are a group of two couples visiting St. John in early September 2025. We booked La Tapa because we heard so many amazing things before making the trip. We were not disappointed even though the hype was heavy. Our appetizers included the lamb meatballs, mussels, and the bread with dipping sauces. All were fantastic. The beverages were equally tasty and refreshing. For dinner we enjoyed the veal, tuna, and seafood pasta. We shared the meals between the four of us. Exceptional is the word that comes to mind. The tuna and seafood pasta were both big hits - all were excellent. For dessert we shared the mango-passion fruit sorbet, citrus cheesecake, and flourless chocolate cake. Again, none disappointed. Each had unique flavors with the sorbet being extremely refreshing. The view was beautiful. Our reservation was at 8 PM, so the evening had already set in. The no-see-ums were also already back to wherever they go before and after hours. We absolutely enjoyed our dinner and our server Willow made the experience perfect.

I love La Tapa! I could come here everyday. The ambience is relaxed, elegant, beautiful, fun. I love the seating along the walls with the couch cushions. The decoration is effortlessly classy and welcoming. This is the best meal we’ve ever had in the Caribbean. We’ve tried literally everything on the menu and loved it all. If I had to rank appetizers: cheese platter, tuna tartare, Caesar salad, goat cheese salad, lamb meatballs, duck, mussels. Our rankings for entrees: tuna, pasta (can be done with chicken!), veal, steak special. Dessert rankings: bread pudding with raspberry sorbet subbed in, chocolate torte, apple tart, roasted pineapple, flan, cheesecake (it’s all delicious but we agreed we can get cheesecake anywhere) Drinks rankings: mojito, margarita picante, allesini, Avon de papel, Wine by the glass rankings: ulacia (white), tesela (red), don pedro Albariño (wh), camins (red). Wine by the bottle: marques de nutrients (red), Pazo barrantes (white),

Amazing food. Very high price tag. But the sunset that I saw for my table was amazing. Would definitely go back here again with the expectation that you’re spending at least $300 to enjoy your night between two people.

Very nice beachfront restaurant right on St. Cruz bay. The space is well appointed, very nice decor, etc. The location is ideal for catching a beautiful sunset on the bay… clouds permitting! We arrived without a reservation early in the dinner hour and the hostess seated us at a primo beachside table! Service was good, as was the food! Escargot, mussels and ahi tuna appetizers were delicious. The chicken and red snapper fish filet were good. The star of the evening was the sunset. We’d go back!

My husband and I had an incredible date night at La Tapa this weekend. Outstanding cuisine, atmosphere, & service. Portions were larger than we expected for both small and large plates with absolutely mouthwatering flavors in every bite! We highly recommend every dish we tried: Duck confit and octopus (small plates) and veal with red cabbage/Brussels sprouts and pasta with langoustine/shrimp/smoked bacon. Our server, Ethan, was hands down the most exceptional server we’ve ever had in the VI — his expertise was invaluable! — and kudos to their tremendously talented chef. La Tapa stands far above most other restaurants we’ve tried in the VI. Picture perfect place for seeing the dreamy St. John sunsets over Cruz Bay; we had a beautiful table by the sea and took a post-dinner stroll along the beach. We are SO glad we secured a table on La Tapa’s last night for the season, and we can’t wait to come back!

This Bistro is small but so convenient if staying at Elysian. It’s also nice to have a beautiful view with your meals. My husband and I went here several times during our trip for breakfast & lunch. We have no complaints. I would suggest taking cash as sometimes their system can be down. My favorite was the breakfast egg sandwich but everything we tried was pretty good. We also tried the pizza & loaded tots but I apparently forgot to take pictures of our food but here are pictures of our drinks lol

Overall, if you're looking for a quick bite and a great view near the Club Wyndham Elysian Beach Resort, then Sangria's Beachside Bistro is a great choice! The music and view is amazing! You are literally next to the beach. I visited in May 2025 and the weather was cloudy and sunny during my stay. Overall, the food and the one Pina Colada drink I had was alright, and I wish my drink my larger though for the price. I didn't order during happy hour so try that first. The Mahi Mahi tacos were delicious though! The smores pizza was pretty good if you like smores, but I hought my loaded fries were too greasy.

My wife, daughter, and I arrived an hour before closing after arriving from the states after starting our day at 3 AM. The bartender/waiter greeted us not with a welcome, but instead told us we had 10 minutes to order. We quickly made our choices and he proceeded to ignore us while others were waited on. He couldn't remember our drink order even though it wasn't busy and when I made a comment, he started screaming at me. Needless to say, this is not the way we expected to start our trip. In addition, the food wasn't very good. This is the only negative review I have ever left.

We came here first (our resort time hadn’t opened yet) and had lunch and drinks. We returned second time for pizza. The food is decent but a little small. Tuna nachos were the biggest hit. The service was a little slow but they were short staffed. No need to be rude to servers, just enjoy the view of the beach! Would recommend

Went for dinner, second table seated at 6:20 pm. Order taken at 6:25 our food was thrown at us in Togo boxes at 7:25. We were not taking it to go, we had drinks on our table waiting for our dinner--however the male server decided we were taking our food to go. And so were all the other tableds except 1 that came in after us but got there food on plates before us! Terrible terrible service. Unfortunately it doesn't matter what the food taste like with the WORST SERVICE EVER!! When we arrived Server was sitting at the bar chatting with his friends.

Good food nice atmosphere. Right on the beach at the Wyndham Elysian resort. Open air with no indoor seating. Dinner ends at 6 and it is pizza only from 6-8. Pizzas are super good. The spicy chicken was great.

We came in from Houston had dinner here the first night it was great food was convenient service was great John did a phenomenal job ! We came 2nd day for lunch and had Elijah he was the worst server I’ve ever had forgot everything greeted very rudely, couldn’t remember our order, he was drunk he was falling on the other table when he was taking our order. Make sure you get John and not Elijah!!

Omg what an amazing place and Heidi was so nice and welcoming! The views can’t be beat and those fish tacos are the best on the island without a doubt! The seasoning was unlike any I’ve ever had and the cuts of fish were so fresh! We left full and so happy. Hidden gem on water island!

We didn’t stay and eat but we did get food to go to sit on the beach and eat! I got the fish tacos you get two tacos which are blacked and I think they even seasoned the tortilla which was delish! My husband got the burger no bun add peppers and onions and he said it was juicy and meaty! Can’t wait to come back and have some more!

Beautiful atmosphere. You do have to call ahead to request items on the menu. But enjoying good food while getting a mesmerizing view of the islands is an experience to be cherished

Chill atmosphere (dimmed lighting). Service was great. Came for the lunch menu. We had conch fritters(fried), French onion soup (good), Gumbo soup (( Good, not spicy), Jambalaya (plenty of shrimp), and finished it all with the yummy beignets(right out of the fryer/warmed)!

This place is an absolute gem! The owner, Charlie, was so friendly, open, and generous — you can really feel how much he cares about creating a great experience for his guests. Our server, Zack, did an excellent job and was attentive and timely throughout our meal. The food was beyond great — full of depth and flavor that truly exceeded my expectations. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and perfectly balanced. If you’re visiting St. Thomas, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed!

French Quarter Bistro is hands down our favorite island restaurant! We visited multiple times during our Christmas trip, and we’ll definitely be returning on future visits. The Christmas dinner was nothing short of exquisite—absolutely amazing! Every dish we tried was fantastic, and the Cajun pasta is by far our favorite. The food is always top-notch, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Located right in Charlotte Amalie, it’s easy to find and park, making it a convenient stop. If you're ever in the area, you must try it—you won’t be disappointed!

Came here my first day on the island since this was really one of the places at the top of my list. We were gonna dine in but decided to take the food to go and head down to Brewers beach. BUTTTTTT what I really came to say was get the conch fritters and not just one order you'll be mad!!! I ate at so many places while on the island..... but I couldn't get over the conch fritters they were just really that damn good!!! For entrees we both got the blackened snapper which came with rice and a corn salsa which was 10/10. The drinks are also made well had French75 and it hit the spot can't wait to go back, also the food reheats well!!!

Seen French Quarter Bistro on past trips, but didn't think the food was something we would enjoy. On a recommendation we deiced to try it and were pleasantly surprised. I had the French onion soup- minus the cheese, along with the herb roasted chicken. My father also ordered the soup and my wife and mom shared the fried zucchini, they all had the snapper for dinner. Dessert was 2 shared orders of the banana's foster bread pudding. Overall a really good meal and we'll be back on a future trip. Sorry, no pics. I don't take pictures of my food.

We had a great dinner here, the food was good and the waiter was great as well. I took one point off for atmosphere because we were seated right next to the loud kitchen entrance when half the restaurant was empty and we had to ask to move to another table, the waiter seemed annoyed at the request, but he got over it. We started with French onion soup and a salad, both were great. We then had the filet with red wine reduction (without the blue cheese topper) and the Salmon, again both were wonderful. Lastly we ended with the bananas foster bread pudding and the cheesecake, they were both amazing. All the food here seemed fresh and had amazing flavor. There is a reason this place has the reputation that it does. Our food was around $150 for 2 people plus gratuity so definitely not cheap either. This is definitely a top place to eat on St. Thomas.

The service is friendly and efficient, adding to the easygoing vibe. The food, while simple, is decent for bar bites, with burgers and fries being the go-to options. It’s not a fancy spot, but if you’re after a chill place with good drinks and a fun crowd, Tap & Still delivers.

Great selection of beers and drinks! The best cheeseburger on the island (get the double with fries). Plenty of parking and easy to find. Great service! Friendly staff and bathrooms close by.

We have eaten and relaxed here several times (family of four). Their burgers are devine. Eating outside is relaxing and it's so easy to watch the kids play. Eating inside is nice as well, especially when watching sports. They have a DJ regularly (I think) and usually have or can get the sports games you want to watch. They are in a prime location as well.

It's a Five Guys with alcohol, they serve everything in bags just like FG with fries in the bottom. Burgers were good for the price. The funnel cake is really good I didn't try a shake. The servers were uncoordinated and we got asked multiple times from different people our order.

I just had the most bestest chicken sandwich here at Tap and Still! Tammy at the grill out back was on fire! I hoovered that sandwich in short time. Delicious! And I was supremely taken care of by the ever effervescent Vanessa rocking it behind the bar. This place is crushing it!

I would definitely like to make another trip to get a cheeseburger, very tasty, a little weird having chickens walk through the bar, but comical. Recommend stopping in if you're in St. Thomas.

This place was really good. We really enjoyed ourselves. The food was fabulous. The atmosphere was fabulous and the service was great. Vanessa Jackson and Derek did an awesome job with service. The drinks was good. Vanessa did an awesome job. She made me some strong islands as we say, I would highly recommend this place at a few places on the island, but this will have to be one of the best.

We met one of the owners and we were so enlightened to hear about his military background 🇺🇸 Always proud to support those who serve. Our food was excellent! The restaurant is beautiful and I loved the contrast of modern with old brick walls. We were disappointed when they told us that they ran out of desserts 😂😂😂

This Family owned and operated restaurant was amazing!! The espresso martinis (no pic 😞) was absolutely delicious! It was so creamy and mixed well that I had two back to back! Lol. It’s almost like having a spiked dessert before dinner. Huge compliments to Chef Peter for making the best pork chop I’ve ever had!! The Brown Sugar Bourbon BBQ glaze was so amazing and it paired well with mash, gravy and mixed veggies. This was a 100/10 for me!

We went to Stone House because we wanted a good steak. We had already ate at Prime, and the steak was ok, but not great, especially for the price. Not much seemed open due to this time of the season so we tried this place and it didn’t disappoint. The steak was great. Had a great and flavorful char that me and my wife loved. We won’t forget it. It has a good, quiet atmosphere that we won’t forget and cherished on our honeymoon.

This stone restaurant, built in the 1600's, is simply beautiful. It is family- owned and operated. The atmosphere is friendly, and the waiter we had was personable. The food was delicious! The service was slow toward the end of the meal. The only negative thing I will comment on was the music. Heavy metal rock-n-roll, played very loudly, is not a benefit to the ambiance of this charming restaurant.

First stop after arriving to grab lunch. Seated quickly, good service, cold beers. The ceviche was excellent and the fish tacos were tasty and a nice size. Cool setting.

Very cool place to shop and chill. My kids loved watching the yachts come in. We got to see Houston Rockets owner Pull his enormous yacht in...very cool!

Fuel dock was easy to work with and well supported. Both trips to this marina, their staff was quick with assisting us get provisions transported to our dinghy and boat, without us asking. Appreciate them!

We used to live there for 5 months in 2016. We felt very safe, our building had 24/7 doorman and security people driving golf carts around the property it is a great place for shopping , eating and it is a beautiful area.

This Yacht Haven Grande location, has a lot to offer you when you visit the St Thomas US Virgin Islands. It will be one of the spots, you will ‘dock off’ from your cruise ship. They offer souvenirs shops, restaurants, bars, taking sailing trips, live-music, picture moments, etc. Add this location to your list, if you are planning to visit the island.

Cute little sandwich shop in Frenchtown, St. Thomas. We arrived mid-day looking for good coffee and a nice sandwich. We found both! The front of the shop is a small market and deli counter, the "back room" is the coffee shop. We ordered a double cappuccino, a half Mad Russian. The coffee was very good, piping hot, and the shop had all the extras we needed. Lots of pastrami, slaw, Russian dressing on rye. Good sandwich, good meat, tasty slaw, tender bread. All ingredients were super fresh! Same experience with the wild turkey sandwich. Fresh multi-grain bread roll, abundance of turkey, jalapeño jack cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. Simple greatness in a sandwich. All the staff was super-friendly, very helpful with the menu. The space was very clean, in the cafe side the tables were cleaned quickly after guests left. Recommend Frenchtown Deli and Coffee Shop.

The food was a bit greasy, and the sandwich was filled with cold hummus straight from the fridge although I requested a warm toasted sandwich. However, the customer service was great!

It seems to be a coffee shop where mostly locals hang out. If you want authenticity, this is a place to be. Homemade banana bread is good, as is coffee. It feels right to be here, feels like you are part of the community somehow.

Ordered ahead, staff behind the counter was attentive and friendly. Cashier got us in and out. Enjoyed the heck out of my smoked turkey sub, it was stacked with a generous amount of cold cut.

It is a deli corner store, takes credit cards, and has a variety of options for food and drink. They have soups, quiches, and of course sandwiches. Parking is available. They're open early in the morning. Anyone looking for something to take with them on an excursion should stop here.

The dining room is open again! Best sandwiches on STT. The carrot cake is awesome. Im mad at the potato salad it is so good. The staff is as wonderful as the food.

Outstanding restaurant in the cool location. You can tell that they take pride in everything that they do. The barbecue ribs Coconut Rice, New York steak drinks and dessert were all amazing. The service was also top notch. I would recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a great meal at a reasonable price.

Good restaurant with local vibes, affordable prices for the island and great servers and bartenders. The food is always good and the drinks spot on. Plenty of TVs for football season and nice covered porches with fans for warmer days. Huge cocktail and beer menu. Blackened mahi sandwich, burger and ahi tuna sandwich are some of our favorites.

Straight up local hidden gem. My apologies to the locals but I haveto do the review, because they have one of the best rib I’ve ever had. The coconut rice with that rib is heavenly.

We love Sibs! The service is great and they have live music. Very clean and plenty of parking. The food is amazing! I highly recommend the Greek salad.

Food was great, service was not. We placed our appetizer, entree, and dessert order all at the same time. The waitress never came back to check on us until we were ready for the bill. At that point, we didn’t have dessert and we were ready to go. Bill took a while to receive while our drinks were still empty. At least she didn’t try to charge us for dessert. The hostess was super friendly. We saw him more than our waitress. Would try again, just would hope for better service.

Sib's - best local hangout on St. Thomas October 2025 Sib's on the Mountain is probably the best local hangout on St. Thomas. It's been at its location for over 100 years, which tells one that the food, drinks, service and ambiance have been a draw for a century. Had dinner there last Sunday night (October 26th) while I watched Sunday Night Football on NBC. Earlier in the evening, a solo pan (steel drum) player entertained patrons with tunes that accentuated the atmosphere without overpowering conversations. I am familiar with Sib's, having grown up on the island. Coaches and teammates used to go there to celebrate victories after high school football games. Decades later, I can attest Sib's still delivers local hospitality, all highlighted by welcoming Sibley family owners/members like Monique.

Had a great dinner with my wife here. I had Chicken and she had ribs. Service was polite, prompt, correct, and downright friendly. We arrived a bit late around 9, and were still seated and made some dinner. The prices are reasonable. I foolishly left behind my credit card. It was safely stored, so we happily returned for dinner again at 1700 the next day. This time I got the ribs, and apparently the great experience was no accident.

My husband and I ordered breakfast sandwiches, drinks and crumb cakes. The sandwiches were hot and delicious. I had an everything bagel with egg, cheese, ham and red onions. I also had the blueberry crumb cake. It was very sweet! A bit more sweet than I could prefer but still fun to try. I got a decaf, hot coffee that was good. My husband got an iced matcha latte with honey. He said that the flavor was very mild and he could hardly taste the honey. The lady taking orders was friendly and helpful. However, during our short time there, we saw multiple mistakes happen. One man was given the wrong drink, a woman was missing an ingredient on her breakfast sandwich and more. So when I got my food, I double checked to make sure that my food was correct and it wasn't. My red onion was missing. They corrected it right away but I'm glad that I had checked before we drove away.

They're a great choice before getting on the ferry to St. John as they open earlier than most on the island. They have a good choice of smoothies, coffees, and sandwiches. The breakfast sandwiches were tasty but not our favorite on the island.

Lattes in Paradise is a solid place to stop for breakfast, or lunch for that matter, they’re open ‘til 3pm. Nice selection of coffees, hot, iced! Lattes, etc. we had the 3 shot 20oz lattes, great to find a larger cup with that third shot! The coffee was really good. We didn’t order any food (breakfast sandwiches, wraps), but all food we saw coming out looked good The staff was super friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. Great view of marine from the patio. Nice breeze this AM too! Very cool place to hand and have a coffee, and a bite, anytime before 3pm. Recommend Lattes in Paradise!

We absolutely loved our experience! The drinks were not only wonderful but the team of women that were working are unbelievable! This little place is such a vibe! The view is breathtaking, and if you're lucky enough to get to meet Monica, I promise her infectious attitude will just make your day! And Emmie...she was genuinely interested in us, and excited to learn about our visit and even offered up some wonderful places to visit. We saw her the next day in the grocery store and she remembered our names and hugged us like she had known us for years. Seriously, we hope the manager knows how awesome their little gem on this island is, and that they have some of the greatest group of humans working there! 10/10 all day!

View is fantastic and service was friendly. Food and coffee were just okay. We had an egg & cheese bagel and breakfast burrito. The bagel was burnt and had almost no flavor, while the burrito was a little soggy. I was excited about the Salty Seas latte but it tasted like iced coffee without much flavor.

I would give 10 stars if I could for atmosphere! Staff is super friendly, coffee is strong and delicious. The list of custom lattes is creative and tasty. Great coffee stop especially if you’re passing through red hook on the way to St. John.

Exceptional in every way- food service and atmosphere.Niki the hostess sat us down and got us water. All with a smile and a chill island vibe. It was a pleasant shift in what we have been experiencing. Then our waitress Kayla was refreshing. She didn’t mind answering our questions about menu items and helped us select food and drinks. Highly recommend!

Came here for my birthday dinner (hehe) and was absolutely amazed with the view and how good the food was. Obviously everyone has different taste buds and food preferences but my boyfriend and I enjoyed the salmon poke bowl and the catch of the day (red snapper). We also had the jerk grilled shrimp which was also so good (came with 6 pieces of shrimp). Both meals were very filling but we still had to try the skillet brownie. Staff were very nice and once again, the view at golden hour was amazing (just ignore the resort off to the side haha). Thank you!!

We stayed at the Lime Tree Resort for a week and ate at Lanai almost every day, and more than once some days. We had several brunches (they open at 10am), lunches, and suppers. They have a standard menu and also offer special items most nights. My wife and I tried something different every meal and were never disappointed. Their bar is first-rate, offering local specialties and about anything you can request. The servers were always very friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere and views are beautiful.

This place has good staff that seem to really care about you, the food is good, and being only a few feet from the water and seeing/hearing the waves as you dine is very nice. If you are in the area you should definitely check the place out. We started with the pork belly tacos and the tropical salad, both were super tasty. We then ordered the fish and chips, which was delicious and the Surf and turf (shrimp version) which was not so great. Steak had no flavor (supposed to be marinated skirt steak) and the mashed potatoes were grainy. Shrimp were ok. We ended the meal with a brownie skillet and it was pretty good. Service here was great from the waitress, but the bar was slow to get drinks out (20+ minutes 2 different times). I will say that the waitress noticed that I didn’t eat the steak, she said that she insisted on making sure we loved everything and wanted to make it right so kudos to her. I will say that the 20% gratuity is added to all checks no matter the party size, so we were pleased that she cared, because she was going to get her tip regardless. We left her extra for being so attentive and proactive.

Best meal on the island, hands down! We’ve been on the island for several days and this is hands down without a doubt the best overall experience, from the view to the drinks, to the service, to the meal itself, we were stunned. Our waiter and everyone there were so attentive. The two mixed drinks we got were outstanding. We knew at the moment we tried our drinks that we were in good hands! The drinks we had were dragging anchor and sea kissed. Both delicious! We got the jerk shrimp as an appetizer, the shrimp were cooked well and the sauce they sat on was awesome! For dinner, we got the kids steak which wasn’t my sons favorite but he loved my steak with my surf and turf! I got the surf and turf with lobster; and ate almost the entire dish. It was the most well cooked lobster tail I’ve had from a restaurant. My husband got the whole Carribbean lobster and I tried several bites of it as well. The spicy pineapple salsa on top compliments it very well. The lobster wasn’t over cooked. The chef came out to check on how we liked the meal, and we told him is was outstanding. Overall, we felt it was worth the price! (Not even our most expensive meal we’ve ate on the island! But definitely the best!) We’re going back again one more night before we leave the island.

We had a wonderful evening enjoying a sunset and our meal!! Our waiter Grant was very professional and attentive- we felt the menu had a great selection. We really enjoyed the chips and trio dip! Wonderful! Also had the pineapple Maui- it was a wonderful meal. We had been looking for a sunset and found a place to enjoy it!

We were staying at the Limetree resort and came here a few times for drinks, happy hour and dinner. The first day we had Annie(I believe was her name) and she was an amazing bartender! The Shrimp Tacos were so good! Every day we went there after you pretty much have to flag down a bartender(they act like your not even there). Even when there was multiple bartenders it still took a long time to get a drink or a food order taken. The last couple days we ended up just getting food from the market or we would order dinner takeout with a hostess. The Conch Fritters, Jerk wings, and Salmon Poke Bowl were good! The Coconut Chicken Linguine was just okay. It was about the size of an appetizer but double the cost. If the service would of stayed the same as the first day/night it would of been 5 stars hands down. But since it wasnt I am rating 3 stars, definitely not up to par with what a resort should have. Great views.

Get the Lobster Queso (which has real pieces of lobster) and the Lobster Dog (a lobster sausage) if you like lobster. I happen to love lobster so when I saw those two things I was done looking at the menu. Both were very good -- the lobster dog had big chunks of lobster and was extremely juicy. We came here in the late afternoon and sat at the end of the deck by the water where we watched the pelicans dive for their dinner, which was cool to see while we relaxed and enjoyed our food.

Mahi bites were great. Back home I would have added some spice, but good dipping sauce made them better. LOVED the Coconut risotto and the veggies sprinkled with toasted coconut that came with with Mango Tuna dish. It was all pretty good! Local beers on tap, but I grabbed a local canned beer that was nice and bright. 👍

Great food, drinks and views. Located overlooking Red Hook marina and right next to the ferry terminal. The staff is excellent. You can also feed the tarpon right off the dock.

Excellent food and friendly staff. 2 of us went at 7pm and there was no wait. The mahi tacos were good and came with a side of chips and salsa.

The Mahi tacos and fried chicken were off the hook delicious. I highly recommend the dark and stormy cocktail.. it's the best Ive had on the island. Service staff just so attentive.

The food was amazing! We had the grouper, and it was prepared perfectly. It was served with a coconut risotto that enhanced the flavors of the fish. The staff was very friendly and the service was timely. We enjoyed our time and meal very much! Highly recommend! Also, Kudos to Ellie, our server. She was awesome!

Easily the best meal I had in St. John. The goat roti definitely changed my life. The flavor profile and the tenderness of the meat, the fresh dough…10/10. Also got a plain Johnny cake and that was simple and yummy as well.

Firstly, my wife’s family is from Trinidad so she knows a good Roti, and let me tell you that this is some of the best Roti we’ve ever had! Very fresh and delicious. Same goes for the Beef Pate. If you can handle some heat ask for a side of pepper sauce. We’ll be visiting again soon. Long live the King!

The Roti King is a hidden gem in Cruz Bay! The goat roti was flavorful and perfectly seasoned, and the homemade lemonade was incredibly refreshing—just what we needed on a hot day. Mr. Hill was so friendly and pleasant, which made the experience even better. We also appreciated the convenient payment options—they accept card, cash, and even Venmo. The location is great too—just a short walk from the ferry port and about a 2-minute drive from the car barge. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Hands down the best food on the island. After a week sampling all types of good food, we decided to check The Roti King out before catching the ferry. We hauled our luggage up the hill and let me tell you it was 120% worth it. Mr. Hill is incredibly kind, the view is great, and his roti was absolutely the best food we had all week. Savory, tender, deliciously spiced, and the roti itself was to die for. Thank you so much for a terrific send-off. I will be dreaming of this meal until we make it back again.

It's a food truck with excellent food and good parking. I had the gost roti and the goat curry was really well flavoured and tender! It's a big portion and really difficult to share so it has to be individual meal. The toilet facilities are good and clean too. My friend has chicken rice and didn't like it... Going out too sweet!but overall, it was a good experience Highly recommend

Terrific local food one block from the dock in St. John's (TOTALLY worth the small incline get there). Lucky enough to get there on a bullfoot soup special day, and it was tasty!! Roti, Johnny cake, and pate also yummy. Served with a smile! Recommended!!

Really wanted to make it here last time but never got around to it. This time we made sure to get packed and ready to go down to the ferry to swing by as our last meal before heading home. It’s now evident that on future trips, going to see Abdue, the Roti king himself, will be the first thing and the last thing we do on future trips to St. John. The food was absolutely fantastic, Abdue was friendly and clearly very proud of his food, and it was just an all around fantastic experience. Looking forward to coming back soon, and for everyone on the fence about taking a slight walk to go check out this fantastic spot - do it! You won’t be disappointed

Very good italian spot in St. Thomas. In a great alley off of the waterfront with plenty of seating. Food is really good, especially the pizza. The lobster truffle pizza was so flavorful and delicious as well as the meat lovers! As with everything on St Thomas, a little pricey but here the price of of one pie was about $20-$30 dollars. Not bad.

We've been here a few times, and it's always consistent and not in a good way. Probably the worst Italian food we've ever had, every time. Caesar salad was soggy from the dressing even though our server said it was light. The croutons were sooooo hard. I thought my crown was gonna pop off. The sausage and peppers were overly vinegary and salty. The Bologna pasta was oversauced and overcooked. Another soggy mess. We were the only ones dining and I'm guessing the food was leftover from day before or even the day before that. Very bad. Also, they advertise aperol spritz but don't carry aperol or were out of aperol so we resorted to some knock off? Youve been warned. Photos for context. We won't even rate the pizza or paninis. Won't be back.

Great Italian spot in the heart of Charlotte Amalie. The location is tucked away off the main drag and the food was quite good. The Lobster and Truffle pizza I would highly recommend, a long with the Lombardy pasta (pictured).

I rolled up on Cafe Amici in St. Thomas after stolling through the many walkways connecting Main Street and Waterfront Drive. I stopped by with a friend who was visiting and it wasn't too busy when we got there. We were served right away and that was great. My favorite item that I tried was the calzone. The area was breezy and the staff were very friendly.

This place was down an alley in the Charlotte Amalie area. Attached to the side of a Turkish shop with laps and rugs. We we very hungry and it smelled great. I got a cheese pizza to go.. it was not what I was expecting. Kinda like a Red Baron frozen pizza taste. But fillled us up..

This is quickly becoming my favorite pizza place on island. The atmosphere is easily a 10 out of 10 - feels almost like you’re in Italy. The pizza is delicious and the bruschetta is my favorite. They also have good iced tea. The service is excellent - fast & friendly. I have zero complaints and only good things to say about this restaurant. We order the bruschetta + a pizza, and it’s the perfect amount of food for the two of us. The prices are very reasonable. We will be regular customers and are so happy to have a place like this right here in downtown Charlotte Amalie!

This was my first time in St Thomas with friends and we found Amici.The food was very tasty and filling.Jen was our server who was so much fun,efficient and kind.She is the best. Keep up the good work. The ambiance was like being in a novel.

I love the atmosphere on the deck right at the harbor, especially in the evenings, when the massive cruise ships are gliding silently out of the harbor, only a couple hundred feet away. You are surrounded by luxury yachts. Food and drink prices are in line with others on the island, this one on the more reasonable side.

The atmosphere is awesome and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I think the menu should expand a little though. The drinks are delightful and the delivery of food is creative and sleek. There is plenty of parking and bathrooms are near by. The open air and old fashion light bulbs gives a nice effect. I really enjoy going there.

Awesome pizza. Fair prices. We got a take out order of an appetizer that was really small for what we thought we were getting. When we said something the next day, the very nice manager bought us beers. The atmosphere is super casual and waterfront. We'll be back!

Pros are the great view and open air tables overlooking the harbor, but the service and speed are not very good. We asked to take a large table outside and ended up waiting over 30 minutes to get a menu and drink order taken. For the second round, we had to hunt down the waitress. Beers were actually pretty well priced at happy hour. it It was a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery, but the service could be improved.

Server said they didn't have a beer that was clearly on display. Her personality? Not much. Fish was good/chips, boring, just like England! I had the happy hour tacos and wings, both were tasty. Happy hour prices were great. But the service ruined the experience.

The food was good although a little pricey for a burger and a wrap. The service was super slow and it wasn't busy at all. Only three tables occupied and 4 servers working. My wife and I had to go to the bar to get a refill on our drinks since the server never came around to check and didn't offer when the food finally arrived. The only reason I give this place 3-stars is the view. Right on the water overlooking the massive yachts.

This is my go to restaurant for weekend brunch. Bottomless mimosas, great service, reasonably priced, added with nice atmosphere and jazz music.

Food was incredible and staff was friendly! We did have a long wait for our food to come out though.

Came across a pleasant restaurant near our hotel. Good selections. I had the best vegan meal from a restaurant in a long time—very tasty and a broad variety of foods and textures. Service was attentive. Then we shared a great key-lime, mango pie with coconut pie crust—very creative and good.

Awesome Food. We came in with a party of 6. Ordered Garlic Bread, Crab Cakes, Chicken Parmesan, and the catch of the day. All of our plates were amazing. Great hidden gem. Our waiter Paulo was friendly and top notch.

My family goes to St. Thomas almost every year, we've never been to Bella Blu until this year. It came recommended by our resort and we LOVED it! The food was amazing - our group order crab cakes, two different snapper meals and jaeger schnitzel. Michael was our server and he was great! Michael was very nice, he gave great recommendations for food, was prompt in all aspects from ordering, getting the food and the bill. We highly recommend Bella Blu!!

I wanted dinner here and they said they were open but when we got there they were closed. Come to find out they were doing renovations and operating out of the restaurant next to it. So I ended up going somewhere else. A few days later I came back and they were open for brunch. The ladies were very helpful and I appreciated them. The food was good and the home made biscuit was delicious. If I could give this place a 3.5 I would. I would definitely visit again or recommend my friends to come here.

Wonderful, cozy spot with a great ambiance. We had a large group reservation (which I know is a nightmare for servers and the kitchen) and they were so attentive and amazing to all of us. The food was wonderful and both of our servers were professional and kind. Will definitely be back!

We were looking for a good pizza on St. Thomas and this one many great reviews, so we gave it a try. It did not disappoint. The Hawaiian pizza 🍕 was tasty and filling. Even in day 2, the leftovers were outstanding. Five stars!

This was the best pizza I've had since leaving Chicago. And tied for the best meal I've had on the island. The owner was extremely friendly and great to talk to.

Got the pizza to go. Cashier was friendly. Pizza needed more sauce. I would go back. Key lime pie was good.

We were having a beer next door at Leatherback Brewery and the owner suggested we order a pizza from next door since his kitchen was closed. It was well worth it. The crust was perfect, not too crisp and not too chewy. The toppings were the right amount. It tasted so good, and they delivered it to us in the brewery!

Stopped here for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised. The slices are HUGE so almost 1 is enough. Got the Hawaiian and The Works and they did not disappoint.

Best pizza on island- heard it, went there and now believe it. Great pizza NY style. Great crust perfectly cooked. Great choices.

Big pizzas, expensive island price. 2x18” cheese and one 20” deluxe was $81. Ours were undercooked but if a bit longer would’ve been five stars although maybe personal preference.

Consistently one of the best coffee shops we’ve ever been to. Every single drink we’ve had from straight espresso to lattes to the more fruity drinks are always so insanely good. And the food is exceptional as well. They have regular grab and go bagel or English muffin sandwiches but usually run specials which are always the best. We first came here with our real estate agent when we were checking out the island and now that we live here we try to come as much as possible. Good vibes and food and drink. Staff are always nice as well.

Such a perfect coffee spot. It only makes it better that it’s a quaint little market and amazing cafe too!! Such wonderful staff you can tell they really love their brand. The Virgin Islands coffee roasters beans really keep this place close to home. Local roasters always make my coffee experience more enjoyable. The seating is minimal but perfect for those slow mornings soaking up the island vibes. It’s become well known to guests from far and wide but it keeps that local corner coffee shop feel alive with the soul of the islands.

Cute, cozy place! We went there to get coffee but they also had smoothies, food, and other things like shirts, candles, ect! They had plenty of parking and indoor and outdoor seating! We saw three cats and a bunch of chickens and they were friendly! Not a bother at all! We ordered the CCC the coconut caramel coffee cold brew drink. If you’re used to drinking strong coffee, this might come across as a bit weaker of a brew to you. If not, enjoy!

I visited on 9/26/25 for breakfast. I went due to several great reviews from YouTube. So glad I visited, it was great. I had The Webster, which our taxi driver recommended and the pumpkin freeze, which was amazing. Hubby had the Club. This is a must stop while you’re in St Thomas. Hope to visit again.

Stopped to pick up the most amazing bagel I’ve ever had on the way to Sapphire Beach! You will not be disappointed. They offer a great selection of food, drinks and gift options. I also loved the vibe. Highly recommend! 🙌🏻 🌴

Great little coffee shop on the north side . Excellent coffee and breakfast. Everyone that worked there was friendly and provided great service. Didn’t eat lunch there but they have great breakfast burritos.

Very warm and inviting...cats everywhere lol....its a really just nice and peaceful place...not too far from Magens Bay Beach...Great drinks other tasty treats and bites....A great way to start the day while in STT or STJ!...The Smiths visited.Oct 7th 2025
