I have a very perfect experience in cooking. I took cook training at Western Modern Training Center, and here the teaching is excellent. The place is also very good, and the sir is really friendly. So, if you are also looking for cooking training, I highly recommend you to come here.

4th time being here and its by far the best tandoori I have had. Anytime I crave it, this is what I mean. It's the first place I visit when I land in Kathmandu, and the last meal I have when I land in Kathmandu. Staff is hospitable and quick and listen to any requests. The owner even let us look at the Tandoori ovens. It being an open kitchen is great for transparency. Especially for us westerners who might be sceptical of hygiene. Here everything is in the open. And you can see how it's made. The food itself is honestly amazing. Obviously the tandoori. But also the tikka masala and momos are a 10/10 I prefer the veg momo , steamed, pan fried all is good. Definitely have a lassi while you are here. They are amazing and give a good treat while waiting for your food. Solid 10/10. Would eat again and again and again and again

Loved my order from Western Tandoori House! Got chicken naan, garlic naan, and paneer butter masala - all super tasty. Their garlic naan is a standout, so good! Ordered via Pathao, and the packaging wasnt bad. They even included an extra bowl for the curry, which was a thoughtful touch. Pricing’s fair, though the curry was a tad oily - I just drained it, no biggie. Great flavors overall, definitely recommend!

Very good tikka masala chicken and good palak paneer. We paired the order with 3 plain naan breads. The size of the plates was quite small but in accordance to the price it made sense. The naan bread was good and perfect with the extra gravy in the dishes. Service was quick, polite and professional. I'd go back to try other dishes and probably the tandoori.

Western Tandoori House is one of our favorite spots in Kathmandu! The food is absolutely delicious and the prices are unbeatable — great value for money. We came here several times because everything was just so good. Highly recommend for anyone who loves authentic and tasty dishes! 🍛🔥

Locals and tourists swarmed in, yet plates came out quickly . I paired the naan with their rajma (kidney bean curry)—rich, creamy, and mildly spiced. Must try! Ate the chicken butter masala and garlic naan. Service efficient and friendly. Food excellent👌 would order again. Naan thin, crispy, smokey, delicious. Butter chicken was average, not the best I've had. Venue small, busy, I had to share a table or wait. It's homely and nothing fancy. Prices very affordable.

Great, second visit this trip, veg dal bhat and veg momos delicious again. It's up the stairs on the the left of the alleyway. The staff are very friendly and food is all cooked fresh. If you just want to try momos or want a meal come here.

Food was okay. Came here to try the variety of momo. Ordered the 6variety momo and when served, waitress showed which was which but I was more bothered that she used her middle finger to point. Not very polite. Food was average, and lassi tasted like store bought… nothing special. People come here for drinks perhaps?

My wife and I ate here a few times during our visit to Kathmandu. A variety of delicious options are available. Prices are higher than in some parts of the city, but right in line with the other restaurants in Thamel. That being said this restaurant is still more than affordable, and the food is of high quality. Try any of the the momos and you won’t be disappointed, and don’t miss out on the Thukpa! Thank you Momo Hut for keeping our stomachs full during our visit to Kathmandu. Will definitely return here when back in the city on a future trip.

A must have if you are visiting Kathmandu. The hot and sour soup hit all the right spots and cravings. It doesn’t matter if you are vegetarian or non veg. It doesn’t matter if have you already tried steamed dumplings (or fried) anywhere else. This is the place. We strongly recommend choosing signature plates and mixing 2 or 3 of them. Staff super friendly. The bill also wallet friendly.

You must try this place! The momos are amazing and comes in many different flavors, plus the staff is caring and super nice. The waiter that served me, Urmila, was very very nice and reccomend me very good. I will definitely come back! :)

This is the one restaurant I find myself coming back to over and over again in thamel. The food is not only delicious, but the staff are some of the friendliest people I’ve met in Nepal. Make sure to stop here during your stay in thamel, it’s a little bit hidden(go through an alley and up some stairs) and you get a great view of the streets down below. I can’t recommend it enough.

Hands down the best sandwich I have had in my life! Did not expect at all! Crispy chicken and the grilled chicken sandwich with cheese was amazing. Me and my friends fully enjoyed it. The server was so friendly and polite as well. Good breakfast or snack option.

The shop was small. It could still fit around 5 6 people but it's best for takeaways. The place had a lot of locals during my visit. The ingredients were fresh. The price wasn't too expensive. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich. The portion was decent for the price. The chicken was great. I'm a bit disappointed with the mayonnaise they used. It was too sweet to my liking. They have lots of varieties in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The taste of the sandwich was good. And the sandwiches are also available in three sizes. Hands down the best sandwich in town! I’ve been eating at Sandwich Point for years now, and it’s always been my go-to spot for a delicious bite. The taste and quality have never disappointed — truly unmatched when it comes to sandwiches in the area. However, I had a bit of a strange experience yesterday. I ordered a regular grilled sandwich and was surprised when it cost me Rs. 450. From what I saw on the wall menu, I thought the price was Rs. 300 — though to be fair, the price wasn’t written anywhere clearly. I think it would be really helpful (and fair) for customers if the menu was updated or at least if the staff informed us about the actual prices before billing. That way, we know what to expect. Still a big fan — just a small suggestion to keep things transparent!

Dai working there is an amazing guy and this place offers one of the best sandwiches I’ve tasted in nepal. I prefer SANDWICH POINT rather than going to SUBWAY. They also got yak cheese and milk cheese options so kindly confirm before placing the order. If you’re nearby, make sure you check out this place and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Cheers

Extremely wonderful and amazing hosts. Totally respectful and friendly. Prices re not bad for what you get. This place sells authentic Nepalese food and western foods. Lounge here or sit at a table. It is a vibey environment. I would definitely recommend this place for all people.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, even changing an item in the menu for me. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing with soft music in the background. The food was amazing an I would recommend pretty much anything on the menu. Between my family and myself, we ordered the chicken Nepali thalli, mutton Nepali thalli and vegetarian Nepali thalli, which were all amazing. We also ordered the fried corn which was delicious. The chicken noodle soup left nothing to be desired. For dessert was the seasonal fruit crepe, which was absolutely devine. For drinks was iced coffee, the blue lagoon, lemon and honey tea and masala tea, all of which were very good. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

Very friendly staff, fast service, good location. The drinks were okay, the ice tea was quite sweet, and the food tasty. Unfortunately, the pork had way to much fat and therefore I couldn't finish it up.

Really excellent place to eat and relax. First of all the waiter's are very polite and considerate of you, they come and check on you at regular intervals incase you need anything and the atmosphere is great. The food is delicious, especially the roasted corn which I highly recommend as an appetizer and the Nepalese dishes taste great. The drinks come in a wide variety and I highly recommend the hot lemon with honey tea, which is great for sickness and against the cold. They have a lounge to sit in and eat or you can sit outside and they have an upstairs if you want to go. They have a wide variety of desserts from cakes, cupcakes, crepes and many others. But altogether the price isn't bad for what you get in return. I highly recommend visiting this place.

Location is a little off. I almost left looking for another place and found the restaurant after walking like 50 meters from the map location. The serving person couldn’t answer simple questions about the menu. When asked about the fish grill, they just said local fish.

The food here is okay – decent taste and reasonably priced. However, the service really needs improvement. As soon as you sit down, you have to call the waiter just to get a menu, then call again to place your order. Even then, they sometimes miss items from the order. The waiting time is way too long, and it feels like the staff isn’t attentive at all. If you're in a hurry or expecting smooth service, this might not be the place. Hope they work on the service side soon.

Firstly, the servers were excellent hostess and recommended we try their 2 people combo. It seemed like value for money and the dishes like BBQ chicken and Cheese loaded Pizza were good. Although i wouldn't say it was an authentic pan-style pizza. Overall it is okay to grab a quick bite.

Home Ordered Sunday Special offer and found Margherita and Keema Masala Pam Pizza, yum than other two pizza i.e. Chicken sausage and Mexican Fiesta. Other two were also good, but I found them more better and yum. It was budget friendly and tummy happy offer too, suitable for group having veg and non-veg. You can use seasonings according to your taste as well.

Had a good experience at Pizza Hut. The food was delicious – fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The service was okay, nothing extraordinary but decent enough. Prices were a bit on the higher side, but considering the taste and quality, it felt worth it. Overall, a nice place for a casual meal.

Refund required. Pizza hut is are promoting 799 unlimited dine -in, but unlucky they have finished doe(Dough), and we are from 8:40 pm to 10:48 pm. @ Durbar marg , Kathmandu outlet, they are unable to understand. Very sad to say, 😔 worst experience we had... No more visit again.

The food was good. They have good amount of options for vegetarians. The place is spacious but packs up at peak hours. The service was however slow. We had to wait a while for them to bring us the menu, take our orders and even bring us water. I loved the Malt brew drink. It’s non alcoholic beer 😂🤭🍺 The potato crunchers was great too. Overall good food. Just work on fast service and maybe increase a bit of serving size for dessert. ✌🏼

Went there for having traditional newari platter, however one has to develop taste for it, it contains buff, chicken, beans, pickles, greens, fish, mutton n so on

I have a friends gathering twice at Paalcha Newari Kitchen. It was a wonderful dinning experience and go to place for gatherings. I really like the Newari theme ambience and the Food and the hospitality was on point.👏 I recommend you all to try choila Mo:mo.

Service was not good. Staff were not well professional as well. I ordered some items with less spicy but they provided with too much spicy. So I request them to return and bring again with less spicy. But what they did is that they do nothing except bringing the same dish. So much careless. If we are paying for the dish then they have to provide as per our will. Our money is not just a paper.

Have been eating at paalcha since 2015 or 16 and the taste of sandheko chicken momo, spiral aloo still remains the same till date. I love the spicy chicken wings here as well as the meat is pretty chunky here compared to other places. We love most of the things we have ordered here for lunch.

They serve Newari food as their specialty. It's a great place to grab a quick bite and snack. The fokso fry was an absolute delight to taste and had amazing flavors. I also enjoyed their spiral potato, which has been my favorite for a long time.I tried their sadheko momo as well, which was bursting with flavors and was truly a chef's kiss. The honey chicken was also definitely worth trying. It was perfectly cooked and had a delicious sweet and savory flavor. The price point is reasonable, and the restaurant has ample seating space.I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to try Newari food or just looking for a good snack. After having experiences with fake reviews in Nepal, I can officially say this place is worth it, ledgit and safe to eat. No you don't usually go to Nepal to eat pizza, but it was freshly made, the price was fair,and they used quality ingredients. The owner was really nice, without overly pushing you to write a review like other places.

I really recommend going here as there are many variation of pizzas. And i really enjoyed there. The owner and staffs and very kind and friendly and the ambience here is also amazing suitable for all types. And i never had this much delicious pizza before one of my favourite was meat extreme pizza.

I was there with my family last month for a Saturday brunch. Have to admit I was not disappointed with their food and service. Auto-bot serving the foods was the real highlight along with the variety of delightful Sushi, prawns and platter of dumplings. With a little help from a quite friendly and well-informed staff (forgot to ask his name) I enjoyed placing my orders from the digital menu of foods on your respective tables. The orders were surprisingly prompt considering the quantity in the platter. My 5-yr-old child was delirious to witness the Robots in action. A big thumbs-up from my side.

Easy access, organized space but felt congested, ambience is okay. One attraction is food being served by robot. I joined my group and no staff reached me. I had to ask for everything. We ordered few items and but nothing was special. The taste was regular you find every where. The taste of Mo:Mo was worst for me - too salty, and the taste was same for others different variations. Don’t ask Mo:Mo here. Pizza, Carbonara Pasta, Nuggets are okay, not the great one. Because of price and taste, no recommendations at all.

Service by autobots are impressive and quite a new in the town. You have to order food from the menu screen on the table. Services was unexpectedly fast as tea and all other main course comes together in no time. You need to pick the food from the bot quickly otherwise it will rush back to serve other customers. I would suggest to keep the ambience more brighter as I see most of the customers are kids and they are not interested in bar like dark ambience. Overall my experience was good and food was delicious too.

We went there winning a giveaway. The food was not good. Didn't order anything else apart from the pre-defined food so would give them an extra star as the benefit of doubt. The waiters seemed aloof and disinterested. The robots, the ambience and digital ordering look futuristic but that's all the good I can think of.

Had a great experience at the world of Naulo amazing menu offering multi cuisines pan asian, Italian, Indian, Nepalese must say best sushi in town, amazing prawn tempura, cheese balls and Dimsum platter for starters. Indian food was great for main course dal, paneer curry great juices! The hospitality was great from the team. Will definitely visit again!

Today, me and my other half went for a dinner date at naulo. They were having sushi fest where for rs.599 you get unlimited chicken and veg sushi, and for rs. 1599 you get unlimited salmon chicken and veg sushi. We both took the rs. 599 and 1599 one. Here is my feed back: 1) the rice was under cooked. 2) service was super slow. (We had to WAIT FOR 2.5 HOURS to get our food). 3) it was barely unlimited cuz we just got 2 servings. 4) once we got annoyed and asked for the bill, our food magically appeared. 5) the food that we got, we both were still hungry after dinner here. 6) the staff just worked when the owner was there. Once he left, the kitchen staff came on the floor and was drinking and eating (I have never seen this culture in any resturants or hotels) 7) the guy sitting at front desk was super rude. My feed back: 1) If you are promoting something, don't false advertise (dont SCAM people like that). Make sure you do what promised. (If it's unlimited them feed the customer unlimited food). If the customer is waiting for food then you are losing money cuz they will occupy your resturants table. 2) The staff should have prepared for dinner rush before it started. 3) The resturant needs manager. (That's why staffs were miss guided) 4) there was only one lady who actually was carrying the whole resturant (meaning she did most of he work). If possible make her the manager of the resturant. 5) the sushi station should be for customers to see and sit, not the resturant staff (photo attached) Over all: This is my second time going to naulo (first time was at sanepa and today at durbar margh). I undeestand its a competitive business but as a customer, we felt like we got cheated or scamrd. At total we spent about rs. 2600. For that amount, we would have gotten better food and service at sushi time, koto or kotesu (we sort of regretted not going there). Both me and my partner did not enjoy our time there so we won't be going there for some time. I hope the upper management sees this and make some improvements.

Sushi was good. Loved the chicken and salmon sea food sushi, but had to wait for a very long time to get served. They could improve their customer service though.

I enjoyed Jhol momo, which had an authentic local taste. The service was quick, and the food arrived fresh. I found the chips chilly to be a bit dry. Additionally, when I ordered a cafe mocha, it came topped with chocolate ice cream instead of chocolate syrup, which was confusing. On the downside, the washroom was not well-maintained. Furthermore, parking was an issue, causing inconvenience. Overall, this restaurant offers delicious dishes with a local flair, but there is room for improvement.

The best momo I've had in Nepal - try the momo platter. Also the chilly buff snack.You won't be disappointed. Just a short walk from the temple. A lovely atmosphere and just the best food. I've been travelling in Nepal for 39 years - highly recommended.

Restaurant located in swoyambhu vagwan pau. Beautifully decorated walls with plants managed furnitures and soothing music makes you more comfortable. Services are good. Good foods are served with reasonable prices . Parking might be issue.

Been here twice in 2 years. I noticed a fall in their taste and quality the 2nd time but it is still worth trying out. Don't order tornado fries though. It's popular here, but its just a glorified overpriced french fries with average taste.

This is a very busy place when we were here on Saturday... Though the service was quick... They were so busy that they could not even clean the areas which were all messed up. The main point is people live what they are doing... It's a unique way of serving potato which is reasonably priced...

We had a really disappointing experience here. After finishing our food, we found a cockroach at the bottom of the dish. When I pointed it out to the owner, he apologized and offered to prepare another one, but by then we had already eaten and it was too late. His explanation was that the café had been closed the day before and just reopened, which honestly isn’t an excuse for such poor hygiene. Hygiene in a food place is basic. This isn’t what I expected when I came here. I really hope the owner takes this seriously and fixes it. If you plan to visit, just be extra careful.

Small place where you can enjoy various items. We usually go for tornado potato (their signature dish) but this time we tried loaded chicken fries. Enough portion for one person. Haven't tasted anything like that. Next time we will go for it again. They don't have anymore what some tiktokers and other food bloggers recommend i.e. aalucha shots or something.

Poutine: I really used to love poutine here but recently it's changed a lot - not good right now. Hope they get back their original taste. Anyhow - love the amount of cheese they put in. Tornado fries: It's tasty but even tornado fries are a little different from what they used to serve - potato size ali kum bhayo 😬

Decent place for crisp fried potato if around Bhaktapur Durbar Square... Very small place, too congested... Barely can breath and eat yet kinda cozy for some reason... Tornado fry is fine here... You can see everyone having the same... I tried Paneer warp, it wasn't that good, felt very oily, and wasn't filling too... You visit the place because you're bored not because you're hungry 🤷‍♂️ Get Jujudhau from the shop next to it, the combination isn't bad tho 🙂

The venue seems decent and worthy in terms of food and beverage but they do need to improve the standard of hygiene they provide as they are offering pizzas! They do have multiple entries from both the directions which adds up to the convenience. Requires a bit professional waitstaffs yet is a nice option to TRY!

My experience summed up in one word is Meh! Their Pizza is overpriced. I ordered Vanilla Milkshake and they didn't have a straw. Hot chocolate tasted like Boost. Do not try their drinks menu. Pizza was average for the price. I liked their "4 Cheese" Pizza. Their "Fungetto" Pizza with Mushrooms wasn't good. Parking is narrow and long. So if you are taking a car there then be prepared for getting up more than once to move your car so that the cars in front of you can leave and you will have a hard time when leaving too. They made me wait 15mins because they didn't have change to return me after I paid the bill.

An option for Foodies especially Pizza lovers. Oven baked pizza comes in few crust options and topping sides. Topping quality needs to be improved.

The quality here can vary when their pizza cheese they use is sour and not very fresh but usually their pizzas taste better than at other restaurants I've tried in Kathmandu. But they used to be much better. Like most or all pizza places in Nepal they don't know how to make pizza crust here. Instead of using the standard bread flour for making pizza, everyone uses cake flour (Maida) to make pizza crust here. So the result is a thin, limp pizza that is almost impossible to pick up....instead of a classic pizza with thick chewy crust, the kind that everyone loves to eat, like a fabulous Papa John's Pizza. I would still recommend their pizzas though despite the flaws because you are not going to find much better tasting pizza in Kathmandu than here.

Deco is simple and nice. The tastes and textures of all food items don’t go very well together. For example, the taste of the fries was really good, but the texture was weird. The burger was tender, but the sauces didn’t blend in very well, neither did the sauces for the fries

Good burgers and super nice staff. Great value and nice to have a taste of home while in Kathmandu. They offer take away and take credit cards too. Defintely worth a trip if you have a taste for a burger! Edit- went back a 2nd time after a two week trek and it hit the spot! 🤤

On our second visit, it was almost midnight and the burger didn't taste as good as the first time we had. Fries were GOOD. Had smash burger for the first time and really loved the classic. Fries were WORTH IT - loved every bite of the fries.

Best burger so far in Kathmandu, I suggest getting a double otherwise you might not be able to taste the meat because it will be too thin. The bun was soft and not flakey, the fries didn't taste very fresh, I've had better fries elsewhere.

One of the best burgers I have ever eaten! Smashed buff (buffalo) patty with nicely browned Maillard crust paired with soft milk bun and caramelised onions. The fries are divine -- thick cut and very crispy, and come with ketchup or mayonnaise dips. Reasonably priced.

Best burger I have had in Nepal. For me, it would have been perfect if they had the option to add a fried egg. Ohhhhh that would be perfection. But still the best and an actual burger I have had in Nepal.

Honestly some of the best Pizza I've had even being from the USA, the owner is amazing, funny and has great prices. Fantastic place to spend an afternoon enjoying a slower pace of Lazimpat.

Finally found a place from where i can order good pizza without breaking the bank. Chef was really friendly and the pizza looked and tasted so good. Absolute worthy of 5 stars

If you love eating PIZZA, this is the place you need to visit. Very yummy pizza, very reasonable price, very humble people, everything perfect. Definitely revisiting this place for sure and recommend you all to at least visit once and then you will start recommending others - I guarantee !!

Best pizza I found in Nepal, you have to be careful since many pizza places in Nepal don't use real cheese. They used real good quality cheese here. I tried about 5 different pizzas in Nepal while some came close to quality none will beat the great price and quality here.

Now this is pizza. You could just taste by the base that the owner of this restaurant knows what he is doing. Trained in Italy and having lived there for years, he has come back to Kathmandu to continue original Italian flavouring with a Nepali twist. Eg Buff slices on a diavola? Delicious! Highly recommend compared to other pizzas I’ve seen in Thamel

Hidden gem!!! I dined in and ordered Margarita pizza and it surprisingly lived up to their high rating on Google review! The dough was freshly made and baked. It had slight crust on the edge and soft inside. The pizza was rich in taste and the cheese could be pulled off from the pizza!! (hard to find in Kathmandu!) It is the best pizza I have tasted in Kathmandu so far! Also, the owner is a very friendly and well-mannered gentleman :)
