Old school eatery that’s still creating flavours from a time gone by! Brahmin’s coffee bar belongs to that rare group of Old Bengaluru darshini style that are getting more popular with age. They remain true to their roots! Dropped by for breakfast and ordered the Idli/Wada with a Filter coffee. Idlis have a home quality to them while the Wadas are unlike anything you’d have eaten! The flavour comes from the quality of ingredients. The coffee has an old school flavour as well, although I’d recommend taking the sugarless version and then added sugar. The menu is very bare-bone yet the place is packed with regulars! There’s barely any place to stand so good luck finding a quiet corner for yourself. Enjoy this place purely for the throwback feature!

This place is very old yet has some good breakfast in place. Started with their OG vada and idly and the idlys were good and very much like pillows. Their vada sells super fast like hot cakes and it very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We had almost 4 of these. Their chutney which is served is one of the best I've had with a good sense of tanginess too. The Kesari Bath is nice with a few pineapple pieces and not too sweet too which is important. Coffee was okayish and could be done better. On the whole it's a good place to visits a few times considering its name and to try their breakfast.

Started my tour in the city by trying breakfast at the popular Brahmin Coffee Bar. It was filled with people enjoying their meals even on a weekday, again a testament to their credentials. There are tables to eat both inside and adjacent to the wall. The taste is good.

Very high quality idly and vada served with tasty and spicy chutly. They have limited menu of idly, vada,khara bath,kesari bath and coffe, but everything is very high quality and very tasty. I fully enjoyed their meal and coffee.

Out of soo many places in ooru, when it comes to idli Vade with chutney dip, brahmin coffee bar will always be in my favorite list. Double idli, chutney dip and if you like butter, add it and enjoy. Coffee miss maadbedi.

Located at a 12 min walking distance from National College metro station, this place is a local legend which has been serving it's patrons from 60 years... I guess that's the trivia here! Visiting Bengaluru for 2nd time in 3 months.. I am curious to explore breakfast places in this city and this happens to be on my list! To start off with.. I was surprised that they have a very small menu... On one hand it's good as they are able to maintain the quality and standards of their respective signature dishes. I went for 1) 1 idli and 1 vade: The idli was soft but it felt a bit undercooked. Though melting in the mouth, the inner part of the idli didn't make much of a great impression. Vade definitely was amazing! It's the most crisp vade I have ever had and this one takes the crown! Chutney they gave was limited but it was a mistake from my end that I didn't see the person who was refilling the chutney at the separate counter. The taste of the chutney was good with that mint and dash of ginger which is a staple ingredient of Bengaluru style coconut chutney. 2) Kesari Bhaat: Coming from Mumbai, the initial impression was saffron rice but it turned out to be pineapple sheera Bengaluru version and learnt a new thing here! The best part was it wasn't very sweet and they kept it as the way it should be! Amazing taste 3) Filter coffee: This was a let down.. the coffee felt watery and they could have done better! Honestly it didn't satisfy my taste buds.. but they definitely can do better here! Overall a decent place, but I felt that it's worth one time visit.

Tucked away in a green road in Basanvagudi, I thought we would be in a queue forever, but within 5 mins, we had paid up and also had the best Vada and upma with chutney in our hand. There is a reason why this place is legendary, has got that vintage charm. Made prior reservation so not much wait time. Prompt and cordial service. We chose wada, masala dosa, plain dosa, kharabath, idli wada, coffee etc. All are good. Nothing extraordinary but fresh and hygienic. Would definitely go back for the experience. Initially skeptical seeing the reviews but loved it. P.s: There is a parcel/takeaway counter adjacent to main entrance.

Vidyarthi Bhavan is one of those iconic Bengaluru landmarks that you visit more for the experience than anything else. The process of getting in itself is quite unique. You can either call ahead and reserve a table, or go directly, take a token at the entrance, and wait for your number to be called. The wait can be long, but watching the buzz around the place is part of the charm. The food is simple and classic. The vadas are crunchy and enjoyable. If you’re looking for the softest, melt-in-the-mouth idly, this might not be the place for you. The dosas are good, though not the most unique you’ll find in the city. Overall, Vidyarthi Bhavan is a must-visit at least once for the heritage, the old-school atmosphere, and the feeling of having experienced a true Bengaluru institution.

We decided to have breakfast here, arriving around 10:45 AM. Although the token system was quite efficient at managing the crowa, we still had to wait for almost an hour before getting a table. We ordered the masala dosa, idli sambar, poori sagu, kesaribath, and coffee. The masala dosa was perfectly crispy, though I did notice a slightly old, stale oil smell in it. The poori sagu was very good. However, the real standout was the coffee —you absolutely must try it! It was fantastic. Overall, I'd say the food is good, but it's definitely not worth the hour-long wait. It's a place you can try once in a while when the craving hits and the queue isn't too intimidating.

Title: Totally Overhyped – Not Worth the Wait or the Hype I honestly don’t understand how this place got such massive hype. I visited Vidyarthi Bhavan today after hearing so many people rave about it, and I even waited for almost two and a half hours just to get a seat. I was genuinely excited, expecting something special — but what I got was pure disappointment. The food was far below average. I tried almost every item from their small menu (just about 5–6 dishes), and not even one of them tasted good. Everything was overly oily, bland, and nowhere close to the quality you’d expect from such a famous place. What made it worse was the price — I paid nearly ₹700 in total, and honestly, it wasn’t worth even a fraction of that. To top it off, within an hour after eating, my stomach started hurting badly, and I had to rush to find a restroom on my way back. It’s not about being “picky” — I’ve had much better food from small local spots that don’t even advertise themselves. This was just overhyped, overpriced, and overrated. Waiting that long for such food honestly felt like a waste of both time and money.

Nostalgia and the feel of being in the history is what drives this place. Dosa is good, you may find places that serve better ones. Kharabaat was the star for us at this place. Service can be slow and there is usually waiting of minimum 10-15 mins if you are lucky.

It was a nice experience but not best as I have eaten better south Indian breakfast in other places. The atmosphere was cozy. I loved the road and the total area. Service is user friendly and less chaos. Crowd management is great. Recommended to visit atleast for experience. But yes, food was not so good for me. It was okay.

Veena stores is one of the iconic eateries I Malleshwara. Their Idly is soft and vada is crispy. But its the chutney that is the best. Apart from Idly vada, their puliyogare and shavige bath is also delicious. Kesari bath on the other hand is average. The service is good and quick. For takeaway, we had just finished placing the order and paying and the parcel was handed to us immediately! Overall, its a good place with good food.

Sunday morning breakfast here. We had one plate idly vada, puliyogare, shavige bath , avalakki bath and one coffee. All items were reasonably priced and decent in terms of taste. If you are in and around malleshwaram worth a try. (Note : They only serve chutney with all items.) Seating : Place can seat upto 15-20 odd people at a time at max. Takeaway : Different counter available to take parcel items if you find a lot of crowd Parking : Roadside parking was available in the morning, not sure about other times of the day.

If you want to taste good and simple food without hype or gimmicks, Veena Stores is the place. Meets expectations to the core. The Idlies were fluffy and soft along with the chutney it is bliss. The medu vada was also superb. Khara bhath was tasty and the rava kesari an apt way to end a beautiful breakfast. Simple, tasty and efficient service.

One of the most complacent restaurants ever. They are the kind of people who make you feel like you're serving them by being their customer. Every time I go, I find something new which I don't like about them. Their chaats are bad, their service or even customer handling is bad, and their place look dirty. Today, when I ordered Aloo Tikki chaat, the chole was finished, and the gravy was left, they just added the leftover to my chaat like it's okay to serve anything to the customer. When I asked if new chole was coming, the serving guy acted like he had to check with someone, and it's too much work, so better just ignore. Hate this attitude!

Kota Kachori is my all-time favorite spot for a quick bite! The chaat items and Indian sweets here are absolutely amazing — full of flavor and always fresh. Perfect place to satisfy those street-food cravings in a clean and comfortable setting. Definitely a must-visit whenever you’re in Koramangala. Highly recommended!

I didn’t know they are selling such bad quality of ghewar that in just one day it got fungus and that too in such cool Bangalore weather. I have never seen such pathetic condition of ghewar even in very very hot peak north India summer. Never going to buy anything from them.

I wish there was an option for bigg zero star!! Worst experience ever! We called them in the morning twice to confirm if club kachori available and they said it will be available till 11 to 12 pm. Once we reached, when we went to order club kachori they said they do not prepare club kachori and instead they served khasta kachori to us. That too pathetic taste. We also ordered rabdi jalebi but we got milk rabdi as you guys can see in the picture. Overall they lied and they looted us with pathetic service. Please do not visit this place if you really wanna have good breakfast. It is a complete mismanagement and disaster. You will need to collect sabzi from one side and khasta kachori from another side, jalebi from one end and milk jesa rabdi from other end. Pathetic!

​Kota Kachori (Koramangala) absolutely nailed the Sabudana Khichdi and Sabudana Vada! Both dishes were excellent, perfectly cooked, and incredibly flavorful. A must-try for anyone looking for highly satisfying and tasty vegetarian snacks. Loved them!

This restaurant is right in front of Nexus mall, on the bustling street corner. I went here twice for dinner this week because the food is amazing and the ambiance is lovely — nice place to grab the perfect snack at any time of day or meet up with friends. The service is quick and the servers are very pleasant. The entire place is kept clean and tidy even through the rush hours. Fresh, tasty Rajasthani curries and rotis made to order. I can’t wait to try more of their sweets!

Today I have bought some food from kota kachori kormangala branch and faced a pathetic service. It was a take away order for which they are taking packing charges as well. They don't have any carry bag to carry the parcel. They are simply saying "keep it in your laptop bag". After several request they have packed the foods in a rejected poly cover. My question is why are you taking gst and packing charges when you are unable to provide service at all???

I visited this place multiple times. Today I went here with my friend with dinner. They serve good food at reasonable price. They have small seating place. Also the staff is friendly and helpful. This restaurant serves Muglai style food items. outside it looks small take away counter. But menu has variety of kabab items. I have ordered Galouti Kabab and soft parota. Taste is really amazing. enjoyed the taste. Outside small two tables seating arrangement was available but not finding much comfortable. Two wheeler parking available.

Ordered for a Chicken Tikka with Double Egg Roll in Paratha. While the stuffing was very generous, they had put some kind of gravy/masala in the chicken, which made it taste of raw masala or spices. In order to remove that taste, I asked for some Ketchup or Chilli Sauce, which were both denied. If you're from Kolkata (the birthplace of the Kati Roll) then you'll know that the Roll always comes with Tomato/Chilli Sauce. Even legendary Roll shops like Kusum's Roll Shop or Hot Kati Rolls on Park Street, Bedouin's in Gariahat or Nizam's in New Market add Tomato and Chilli Sauce in their rolls. And nobody..NOBODY adds gravy to the chicken. That's blasphemy!!!

Just loved the kebabs and the rolls. You can sit beside the restaurant and enjoy the mouthwatering kebabs with a magnificent view of Bangalore streets.

Simply love the beda roti at Khan Saheb, both chicken and mutton. Rolls, kebabs and biriyani are also worth a try. Sad part is their service hall is closed, we ended up having food sitting on the footpath...

I have very high expectations for a 5 star rating place and this just hit the wall. Absolutely beautiful. This is situated near Jayanagar. Their place is very lit , good hygiene , plates and spoons are always cleared up and they also have am automated sterile cleaning machine for utensils. Started with their OG Pillow Idly and Crispy Vada which took me straight up that escalator to heaven. Very soft and simply perfect with their thick coconut chutney. Vada was thin and very nice. They even have a separate chutney serving counter. went next to their kesari bath and it had the perfect sweetness and good amts of pineapple too. The coffee was absolute madness and had the perfect blend of coffee and sugar. Must try when at Blore

Edit on 22 Oct: okay, reducing my rating to 2 stars from 5 BECAUSE I FOUND A BUG 🪲 in the Kesari Bath today. I initially thought it was a clove but when I separated it from the bath I saw the ghee drenched wings and other parts. Absolutely unacceptable and disgusting. You can tell that the focus here is on delivering consistent, tasty South Indian food, and they absolutely succeed at that. For the price and quality, it really does feel like great value. However, because of the heavy rush, the service felt quite average. The staff were doing their best, but the overwhelming crowd made it hard for them to be attentive or warm. It’s more of a “serve quickly and move to the next person” kind of setup, which is understandable but not very personal. Overall, Taaza Tindi is definitely worth visiting for its food alone, but I’d recommend going during non-peak hours if you want a smoother experience. Loved the place 💚. The spread was just mind boggling 💫. Each and every item was fabulous. The mutton biryani, paneer , starter , momos every single item 🫠fantastic. Special the chaat counter 👌the chaats were outstanding and anytime the best than any renowned Chaat joints. That’s something should not be missed there. Finally the desserts ✨🩷. Fascinating. Last but not the least the buffet price is the USP of this outlet. The price will beat anyone else. Highly recommended ❤️.

We chose chutney chang for our team dinner on a weekday and we made the right choise . The ambiance , vibe was perfect to enjoy the buffet.we felt most of the dishes in the buffet were good. We enjoyed our time here. The starters were nice, the live counters served some delicious fish fry 😋. However the main course didn't meet the expectations.There were lot of options to fill your tummy.The chat section was good too.coming to the desert section, most of our team members loved them . Chutney chang is at the center of chrch Street. You need to get off at MG road metro, walk for 15 mins(good workout), you will find it in a good place. The food was ready by 7pm, for our team dinner. Veg and non-veg good enough variety - Chwings, alfaham, naan, Masala paneer, palak paneer, white rice, soup, noodles, biriyani rice, ghee rice, fruits, momos, fish fry, fish kabab, salads, some veg Twisters(potato, corn). Well kept atmosphere. Prawns items are available on specific days like Friday. You feel welcomed and pleasant, with diligent staffs. Suited for family and peers get-together.

Where do i start from , the food the taste and the service and aslo the atmosphere tooo !! I had a very good experience at this restaurant. The food was fresh, tasty, and served quickly. They have a variety of dishes, and everything we tried was really good in its own way . The staff were polite, friendly, and always ready to help . Super yummy fooood, I’ve been here multiple times but this time I tried something new, the London mix dish. What a delight. It was very delicious served with a lamb steak, chicken steak, some ham, an egg, rice, mashed potatoes and veggies in sauce. Highly recommend. Like always, a pleasure to be here. Good food brings a good mood. I visited St. Marks branch for the first time as I had some work on the SBI branch which is just opposite to it. So, had to visit the first Truffles branch here! 😊 The service was quick and convenient. Although crowded, I was able to get a table for two at ease. The taste was similar to other Truffles branch and their cloud kitchens. I ordered a pasta and a pastry. Affordable, tasty and has the cutest desserts! But yes, just a suggestion, if it can provide a parking space or a facility too than it would be great for all its customers.

It’s a bit crowded on weekends — we waited around 45 minutes for a seat. They don’t allow advance table booking, but they have a digital queue system, and once your turn comes, the staff calls you. This is a chain Cafe outlet available in two different places like Koramangala and Kammanahalli where they serve continental and American breakfasts. This place has got all-day breakfast and beautiful atmosphere. They have two different floors but the first floor is open only during the weekends when it is crowded. They also have a kind of outdoor seating area if you have got pets. Service is very fast and the prices are also descent.

Went on 11th oct 25. Atmosphere was good. We were asked to scan and book your seat by the security. We did and waited. We found lots of people just walking and occupying the seat. Then we too went and they gave us a place. The scanning was just an eyewash it seems. We had mushroom onion cheesy fries, cheese garlic bread, captain black bean burger, double hybrid sandwich, triple chocolate pancake stack and complete veggie omelette. Taste was very nice except veggie omelette which was a disaster. Yes it was just bland without any salt and chillies. It tasted horrible.

Was planning to visit the place from 10 years and finally we did. Looking at the menu we were finding it so difficult to choose as all the options looked so good. Finally we order Waffles, french toast and Chicken Steak & Eggs. The service is so quick that you just place the order and dishes are served hot in a blink of an eye. Everything was super tasty, the sunny side up eggs were just cooked to perfection, french toast were not too sweet or eggy - just perfect. Can't wait to visit again.

Recently visited this amazing place with my friends. Such a lovely ambience. We tried mashed potatoes, parmesan cheese fries.. both tasted good. Hot chocolate was amazing, mango smoothie and cold coffee also tasted good. In the end we tried their tiramisu pancake, omg the pancake was very fluffy and soft, the coffee cream on top was damn tasty. Overall i would like everyone to try this cafe. I'd also appreciate their service and value for money.

Nice experience for vegetarians and especially for North Indian folks as it contains culinary cuisines and large variety of north indian items. There is one shop which serves matka rabdi, believe me you will not find such refreshing and great rabdi in whole Bengaluru. It was so fresh and subtle sweet. You can have it with jalebi and gulab jamun too. You can try wadapav too there but honestly that was okayish only, instead you can opt for dabeli there which is better. One of the best food streets in India. You have over 50 shops serving different kinds of food and snacks. Main course is limited but large variety of snacks and deserts. Some of the must try are curd kodubale, pineapple bajji, rabadi cup, paneer cutlet, Raj kachori chat, drum kulfi. But there are lots more. Do visit and be cautious about Sunday crowds.

We visited this place on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. It was already quite crowded, and we had to wait for around 40 minutes to get a table. The waiting lobby was impressive, with proper chairs, tables, and even a swing-shaped chair. The café ambiance was aesthetic and cozy, perfect for hanging out. Here’s what we ordered: Hot Chocolate – ₹190 Warm and comforting. The taste was good. Half Veg Half Non-Veg Pizza – ₹400 Thin crust with a pesto spread on the base. The veg portion was delicious, but the non-veg side didn’t taste great. French Croquettes – ₹200 Mixed veggie fingers, served hot and very crispy. We really liked this. Cappuccino – ₹270 Not up to the mark.

It’s quite popular, so be prepared for possible wait times, especially on weekends. Definitely worth a visit for the desserts, coffee, and the unique atmosphere, just don’t expect every menu item to impress equally. During our vacation in Bangalore, we had brunch at DYU Art Café, and it was quite a nice experience. I really liked the ambience and the overall vibe of the café, very cozy and artistic. I don’t think they have an air-conditioned seating area, but the open setup felt comfortable. We tried their Mushroom Salad Sandwich, Creamy Chicken Sandwich, Fresh Strawberry Shake, and Blueberry Shake. The Blueberry Shake tasted like it was made with blueberry yogurt, and the Strawberry Shake was okay. The customer service was good, and the location is easy to find. They also offer breakfast options, which looked interesting. Overall: A pleasant café experience with good food and a lovely ambience.

Had visited the DYU Art Cafe, Koramangala and tried their Italian thin-crust pizza along with a pineapple juice. The pizza was decent and light, but the real showstopper was the pineapple juice — fresh, no ice, no added sugar, just perfect! The cafe has a very aesthetic and cozy ambience with beautiful greenery and an artsy vibe. However, there were quite a lot of flies around, which was a bit distracting, and the place was quite crowded when I visited. Pricing is fair, but overall I feel the cafe is a bit more hyped than it actually is. Still, a nice spot to try once for the vibe and fresh juice!

This is a overhyped place, it is not organised in any way. To be seated in a table you have to wait for atleast an hour. The food is good,but not the best. I would suggest you to have atleast 2 to 3 hours of time if you plan to visit this place. My personal opinion on the food: It was the most mediocre Mutton biryani I had till now. It was not that good not that bad. They use jeera rice it was oily but not sticky. I would only that part is good. As for mutton fry, it tasted like the spicey pickle. This place is definitely overhyped by social media.

I recently purchased 5 chicken biryanis for takeaway with high expectations and had even spoken highly about the place to my family. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be very disappointing. There was no raita or salna provided with the order, and the usual half-boiled egg in the biryani was missing. These basic elements are expected in a proper biryani meal, and their absence took away from the overall experience. I had set good expectations with my family, only to be let down. Such lapses in quality and attention to detail have strongly discouraged me from considering a revisit.

The hotel is quite okay overall, but the taste of the food is really good and worth trying. They first serve salad and curry, and then I got mutton biryani and chicken chilly. However, the service is the worst part — they don’t actually take proper orders. The waiters just come to your table with different dishes and ask if you want them. That’s fine to some extent, but the issue is we ordered chicken biryani and they gave us mutton biryani instead. Luckily, the mutton biryani was also delicious, so that wasn’t really a big problem. The main issue is that they don’t properly meet the customer’s request. Also, make sure to visit before 2 PM, because after that it’s extremely crowded — you’ll have to search for a table and might end up waiting for 30 minutes or more. Despite the poor service, the taste is excellent, and that’s what makes the place popular.

Definitely an overhyped place. I kept my expectations low as I’m not a fan of Donne Biryani, but even then, the food didn’t satisfy me. Coming to the service — there’s no proper queue system. Customers need to wait behind the diners for a seat, which causes inconvenience to both the diners and the servers. The workers serving there are polite, though. It doesn’t end once you get a seat — you still have to wait quite a while to place your order and even longer for the food to arrive. Coming to the food — I didn’t like it. The biryani and mutton fry were too oily. The biryani was bland, and the mutton fry was just okay. Considering the price and the hype, they should be serving much better food. Instead, I got not one but two large chunks of animal fat, which was unacceptable. If you’re someone who genuinely enjoys Donne Biryani, you can give it a try. Otherwise, it’s completely skippable. Please remember this place is closed on Monday.

It's located at a narrow lane and impossible to reach by 4wheeler. The hotel resembled some old south indian marriage halls dining area. It literally shares same building with a Mandapam. The service is much poorer than the state of the hotel building. The place was packed with hungry crowd waiting for their chances to feadt. You have to find your place to sit or wait behind people to finish their food like temple annadhans where food is free. In contrast you pay for such grueling experience. After you find the seat you are at mercy of items availability so count your luck starts if you are visiting. For 2 mutton biryani, 2 starters I was charged 1200Rs. That's the final nail in the coffin that summed up the experience. I went there after stalking this place through food vloggers for very long time. But it actually is a dining extravaganza. Not worth the hype. The hype makes them serve food at astronomical prices. There are two more military hotels in same lane which are finding hard to get customers. They are Gowdru mane and Raj jonne biryani. Please go to these places instead.

I had high expectations from Shivaji Military Hotel, Jayanagar 8th Block, Bangalore, but my experience today was quite disappointing. After a long wait to get a table, the food turned out to be very poor in both taste and quality. Both the chicken and mutton biryanis were bland and not tasty, and surprisingly, they even had peas in them, which completely spoiled the flavor. The service was also slow and unorganized. Overall, the food quality and quantity were not worth the price or the waiting time. Truly disappointing experience, definitely not worth the hype.

Loved the breakfast buffet! The space can be a bit cramped, but the food more than makes up for it. The baked goods were so good! The chocolate chip muffin was lush, and the croissants were perfectly flaky and dense. I loved the Danish, too. Also great - the vadas, the fresh juices, the cut fruits, the nuts, the yogurts, the muesli and the oats. We also had the lunch buffet here, which was well-stocked and tasty. The biryani, a constant favourite, was fantastic, with succulent pieces and fragrant long-grained rice. Karnataka Rajyotsava ensured that we were served a few excellent Kannadiga cuisine items, including sweets. Among the other desserts, the cheesecake was incredible! The à la carte service is good, too, with the South Indian fare being the obvious speciality. There are wood-fired pizzas available, which are delicious and topped with lovely cheese.

Had team dinner here. Buffet food. Felt varieties are less in both veg and non veg considering for a 5 star hotel. Desserts are ok. Taste is average and must be improved on it. Parking is well facilitated and ambience is awesome. Roof top view is the highlight ✨️. Cost is expensive.

RUSTIC HOME STYLE FOOD Right in the middle of Bangalore is this age-old eatery with decent seating, budget friendly, family oriented, and very popular with office goers around the locality. Comfortable interiors with a lot of vintage photographs. If you want to taste a mixture of Bengaluru based food head to Chandrika. Must try here any basic dishes, you cannot find a truer or authentic local cuisine in this area of Bengaluru.  Idly-They make them dense yet soft, tad crispy, and extremely flavorful. The chutney & sambhar are second to none.  Coffee-They are strong, hot, milky, and delicious, served in a traditional dabarah and tumbler. This is a great starting point for meeting people or exploring Bangalore.

I am here to let everyone know what a health hazard this restaurant has created and to think about it whenever you eat here. The service areas in the back are in such a horrific state, and despite many complaints and warnings, nothing's being done about it. Look at the pictures below to get an idea about what I am saying.

The food and vibe are mediocre, nothing that stands out anymore. If you have other options nearby, I’d suggest trying those instead; this place just doesn’t hold the magic it once did.

We ordered a South Indian meal — the rice was hot and the rasam was okay. However, the papad seemed to have been cooked in old oil and had an unpleasant smell. It serves piping hot idly, vade, shavige bath, goli baji, kesari bath and a new branch has opened right across to serve to only doses. Masale dose here is served with amazing coconut chutney and sagu. The idly and vade here is the bestseller.

These tiny amazing breakfast spots are the special gems of Bangalore. The shavige bath and vada here is amazing, they have these super small portions of filter coffee which is exactly the amount of coffee I would enjoy after a good breakfast. For idly, I would recommend Veena stores which is also in Malleshwaram.

This is a small joint out Malleshwaram railway station that serves some fantastic vegetarian breakfast fare. The place is modest and customers stand on the street and eat without any complaints - testimony to the amazing authentic South Indian fare this restaurant serves.

We visited Raghavendra Stores, located near Malleswaram Railway Station and Manipal Hospital. It is standing darshini and heavily crowded on a Sunday morning. We first had to stand in a queue for the token and then again in another line to collect the food. Was it worth the hype? Personally, I don’t think so. The shavige bath was good, but the idli was one of the worst I’ve had in recent times—soggy and lacking in taste. The chutney was also not extraordinary. You can visit here just for shavige bath!

This place serves the regular patent kabab magic rolls chicken and rice. The food was served quickly and fresh but the restaurant was disappointing, the tables were sticky and the bin right in the front was a big put off. Payment via cash card and upi is accepted. Parking is difficult.

I have started my grill journey from Kabab magic , same location. This restaurant is all time my favourite for grill chicken. I have started eating grills From there from 2012, but still same taste no change. They are price is also very affordable, they do have many varieties of combos as well. The restaurant exceeded my expectations with its Italian vegetarian dishes and charming ambiance. Firstly the Ambiance, It has the wooden hut structure with a modern touch in it. The walls covered with hand made art. Secondly service was very good. Lastly the food, I tried, Watermelon Mocktail: Refreshing and tangy. Pizza : It was very thin but not very much crunchy. Loaded with lots of toppings and taste wise it was delicious. Finally the dessert, Tres leches: It was very well decorated, like a castle and was loaded with edible foam.

I hosted my birthday lunch here and what a lovely time we had. They had a separate section to seat the 16 of us. Most of the items we ordered were delicious and loved by everyone in the group. The servers were friendly and helped us in choosing special items from the menu. Overall a much recommended place for their Italian and Mexican cuisine. Definitely going back to try the rest of the menu.

A wonderful experience, amazing place, decent service and delicious food! The quality is evident! 1. Stuffed mushrooms (6pc per plate)- beautiful presented and tasted delicious. 2. Mini tacos (4pc per plate)- a variety of toppings to choose from, well made, gets a little messy while eating. 3. Guacamole 🥑 with nachos - A server makes it fresh, a live experience and tasted good. 4. Lasagna (serves 3) - it had more veggies, we were expecting more of cheese and layers. Lasagna tasted average, can skip this. 5. Mexican sizzler (serves 3) - cottage cheese was well marinated and cooked, the sauce was brilliant! 6. Choclate dunkers (small serves 2/large serves 4) - This is the dessert one cannot miss, it is served with caramel, choclate, strawberry sauce and vanilla ice cream, every bite is delicious!! MUST TRY. 7. Tres leches (serves 3/4) - beautifully presented served with frozen ice cream and cream. Although the price is more, the presentation, ambience, quality is worth it, valet parking is also available.

I visited this place for a weekday lunch with some of my friends. The staff was very courteous and friendly. I totally loved the hospitality of the place. The ambiance and music is also pretty good. The seatings are very comfortable. We started with some of the refreshing drinks out of which my favorite was Watermelon Mojito. It was perfectly balanced in terms of sweetness and had a nice fizz. In soups, I totally loved the mushroom & leek soup - would definitely recommend this soup with some garlic breads. In salads we had Insalate Castano - it was pretty spicy but I loved it. Then in appetizers, we had formaggio di patate, stuffed mushrooms and taquitos. The presentation of each dish was top notch and quite pleasing to the eyes. The taste was equally good. Stuffed Mushrooms had a tangy taste which was something unique. Now talking about the main course, we had pimento pizza. I tried it with pesto sauce and it tasted pretty good. We had canelloni florentina in Pastas and it was pretty good. The best part of our meal was the desserts. The portion sizes for desserts were really good. Their Tres Leches is one of the best I have ever had. The bread was so soft and went very well with the caramel crisps and icecream. Another favorite was Chocolate Dunkers. The fried pastries filled with Nutella and crackers just tasted amazing. Overall, we had a pretty great meal and a very nice time.

This Vegetarian Restaurant is a perfect place for your Italian and Mexican cravings, Comfortable sitting ,so vibrant vibes and delicious food go hand in hand here. Loved the Formaggi Di Palate for its simplicity and great taste in every dip in lukewarm cheese. Grilled Mexican Veggies Sizzlers here is really good, Southwestern Rolls & Canelloni Florentina is a must try. In desserts Magical Candle dessert & Forest Noire was one of my favorites...

The food was awsome. Authentic Italian food they serve. The ambiance is super cool. You can take your family as well as you can hangout with your friends. The service is also very good. The waiting time is less than the average restaurant. A must visit restaurant for Italian cuisine.

I ordered poha from Puchka's and was shocked to find a small cockroach in my food. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about hygiene and food safety in their kitchen. I’ve taken photos to document the issue and am extremely disappointed with the quality and cleanliness here. I would not recommend this place to anyone and strongly suggest they improve their hygiene standards immediately. Avoid ordering from here if you care about your health.

The overall experience at the puchka restaurant was nice. The food tastes good and the variety of options is impressive. However, some items feel a bit overpriced—for example, Dahi Puri at ₹99 seems too expensive. Other than that, everything else was good, from service to ambiance. A decent spot if you're craving chaat, just be ready for slightly higher prices on a few items.

Puchka's in Marathahalli offers a variety of Indian cuisines, ranging from chaat to parathas. The seating is comfortable, and the service is quick. The food is decent, it tends to be a bit overpriced. The Chhole Bhature is a must try dish, but the parathas could be improved. It's a self-service restaurant, making it convenient for a quick bite.

The Puchka's Cafe located in Spice Garden layout is a decent place to get some good food at a higher price 😅 The food quality here is okay and consistent so there's no surprises. You can get chaats, chole bhature, Pav bhaji, Vada pav, or even meals like regular sabji roti or paneer sabji and roti. So overall it's a good place but is costlier when compared to other places. Puchka's is a Pure Veg Cafe.

Pucka's is a good place in Marathalli which offers a variety of cuisines from different places in India. Right from chat to parathas it offers lots of dishes to satisfy your cravings. It has a good seating arrangement and the service is quick as well. The food is okay but it is slightly over priced.

I had a great stay at this new, modern hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and stylish. Staff were friendly and always ready to help. The location was perfect and everything felt fresh and well-maintained. Overall, a wonderful experience — I’d definitely come back

I have been visiting this restaurant for the 43 years and the taste has not changed a bit. It offers the best dosa in the world. Their chutney and sambar is something to die for. NMH is a binding entity for our entire extended family. Would love to visit again and again and again. I thank them for the feeding us joy and Contentment on plates.☺️ Note: they don't work on Thursday.

One of the iconic hotels of Bengaluru! If you need homely, good quality, tasty food for an affordable price and fast service then you must visit this place. Best meals and South Indian food available. One of the very few restaurants who have stuck to quality and south indian foods only inspite of the changing world ! Astonishingly , it's always crowded and people love the food so much that they wait for a seat and have food !! And you will find most of the elder foodies here, which obviously speaks about the quality of food they've been serving !!

This restaurant is over 60 years old and serves lovely South Indian fare. Their Iddli dip is lovely when served with a dollop of ghee and their unique aromatic sambar. The Masala dosa was out of the world. Finally the filter coffee just made my great meal awesome. Parking not a problem on weekends but weekdays gets very crowded during office hours.

Worst experience staff behaviour is very bad. They behave like they are giving food for free And they shout on customers their management should first teach their staff how to behave with customers and how serve them otherwise people will stop going there in Bangalore we have many hotels to visit instead of this value less ,misbehaving hotel.

The food was okayish overall. I had ordered Thai Chicken Rice but was served Thai Veg Rice instead — however, they apologized for the mix-up, which was appreciated. We also tried Chicken Pepper, Chicken Chilly Noodles, Mushroom Dragon, Pulpy Grape Juice (which was really good!), and Lemon Soda (which was very salty and not great). Most of the dishes were just average, but I’m definitely planning to try other items on their menu next time.🫡 In terms of pricing, the quantity felt a bit less for the price, but it’s still manageable.

The service and ambience is good compared to other restaurants of the same range. We tried chicken manchow soup and it was okay then chicken lollipop and lee fu prawns. You can say the starters are okay not too good. In the end we ordered chicken choupsey and it was not good at all. Most of us couldn't finish as the fried noodles were tasting bitter. After such a disappointing dinner, we ordered a few desserts which turned out to be good compared to other foods.

Szechuan Dragon is a great spot for vegetarian Chinese food! The Manchow Soup and Singapore Noodles are definitely worth trying. The portion sizes are generous, making it good value for money. The only downside is that the service can be a bit slow, with an average waiting time of around 7-10 minutes. But overall, it's a solid choice for a satisfying meal!

I recently dined at Schezwan Dragon and had a fantastic experience. The food was incredibly flavorful and well-prepared, truly living up to its reputation. The atmosphere was inviting and pleasant, making for a great dining environment. My only suggestion for improvement would be to expand their mocktail drink selection. Loved dining with them. Had gone with a group of 6 and everyone were absolutely full after the meal. Ordered about 9 items and the bill came up to ₹2,000 which is not bad at all. What we ordered:- • Butter garlic noodles mixed • Chicken thukpa • Schezwan dragon special Fried rice veg • Kung Pao Paneer • Kung Pao potato • Schezwan dragon special veg noodles • Paneer fried rice • Chicken Lolipop • Pepper Paneer Would definitely recommend their Schezwan Dragon special as it comes with a very tasty gravy/soup on the side. Thukpa was not like what I expected. I thought it would be bland like how it usually is served (in Coorg and other Tibetan Settlements) but I did enjoy every bite of it. It was quite filling and heavy. The chicken lolipop was recommended by the waiter and I wouldn't say it was that great as it was mostly sauce over meat.

We ordered kung pao noodles , Lee Fu chicken and Schezwan pan fried momos food was really tasty and staff is also very polite and helpful ! Will highly recommend this place

Banana kesari bath - 9/10 Avalakki bath - 8/10 Shavige bath - 7/10 One of the best Kesari bath I've eaten in a while. Absolutely amazing! Avalakki bath was very nice as well. Shavige bath was average. Not bad but nothing outstanding about it. Crowd does increase after a point. Best to visit early. Parking is also a bit difficult on weekends.

A pretty good spot for breakfast. I especially liked their uppittu. I wish more places had that plain white uppittu instead of kharabath with too many masalas. The navane khara bath was decent too. Shavige bath is good, but felt too bland. Idli and vada were hot and fresh. The are no Dosas here. Worth a visit.

Dude, another awesome breakfast place! I was totally amazed. We had their Shavige Bath, which is like rice vermicelli Upma, and it came with chutney. Plus, we got Medu Vada and chutney, and the filter coffee was amazing. You gotta go there for a quick breakfast! Definitely try the Shavige Bath! 💯

It is very very light and non sticky. Loved bisibelle bhath and khara bhath too. Bisibelle bhath has a sweet but really lovely taste. The prices start from as cheap as Rs. 12. The entire menu is just under Rs. 44. Filter coffee and gulab jamun have to be tried for sure. This places has the softest of gulab jamuns. Service is pretty quick. Street side parking is available. The staff is friendly too. A self service restaurant which is really good for a quick bite. No onion, no garlic restaurant, no sambhar but still the food is top notch. The quality of food is really good. Serious hygiene is maintained and continuous cleaning of food counter takes place.

This place has good chats. We tried chips masala and kiss masala. Both were good and delicious. They put curd on the chats (optional if you don't want it) and this increases the deliciousness. The person at the billing counter was a bit impatient and the place is overcrowded. At the end we also tried the cold coffee. The taste was average, and it wasn't blended throughly. Overall, its a place that has good chats.

For me, it's just a okay eatery, and there are plenty of similar Chinese eateries throughout the city. Nothing about the place felt special, yet the food was delicious enough to keep coming back. Had been there on a Saturday. Initially the restaurant was empty but 10 min as soon as we walked in the place was filled in seconds. The place offers to reserve a table in advance. The quality and quantity of the food is very good. But the only problem I had was almost every dish I tasted had a bit of a sweet taste to it, which I don't prefer. The service is very good, the waiters here are very quick to respond. There's no parking available, need to find a place for parking. There's no wheelchair assistance or wheelers friendly.

Their Leefu Chicken and Paneer are my must-have starters, and the soups are consistently excellent. A beautifully designed restaurant with an aesthetic ambiance that radiates luxury. They serve some kind of welcome drink. The food was pretty good in taste. The bill came to around 2k, which feels a bit pricey for two people. I personally think the service charge could be reconsidered. The service was excellent. Priya greeted us warmly, and Karna assisted with placing our order. He was very polite and had a genuinely helpful attitude.

Top notch service and presentation as there moto is you first eat with your eyes. So they have presented themselve very well. Along with presentation they have not compromised with quality of food. They offer welcome drink served in cracked egg shell theme bowl and drink looks like egg (whitish layer with yellow yolk) made with coconut cream. To maintain quality and presentation quality is little low making the cost little pricey. But if you want some good instagram pictures its worth it. If you are from Uttar Pradesh they have Makkan for you (dish named as Phurr in their menu) it was good but yes nothing can beat that UP waala taste as it is more fluffy and made in winters in Banglore you can't get fluffiness and moistness. Overall we have good experience. And yes please have reservation in advance as this place has long wait. May be I am the only one with poor rating. Overly priced for the menu and the taste of food. The welcome drink mango and coconut kind of concoction with a bubble(made on boba Concept) was good but not praise worthy as it gets over in 4 sips.Food was quite bland. Nachis aesthetically presented but was dry. Tried two mocktail but felt just OK.cheese naan was good. We paired naan with malai kofta. Malai kofta curry again aesthetically presented where the gravy was poured out kofta infront of us but tastes bland. Unfortunately we had ordered pavbhaji which served after main course. It has no flavours. We packed left overs home. Added pav bhaji masala to the gravy and had with bread. Malai kofta also added little garam masala and salt. Forgot to mention we had Chur chur naan and it was decent. We are south indian who like punjabi but we were super disappointed. Restaurant played safe by having pasta in menu but no pizzas(may be maintenance issue). Love the food don't go live for showoff and trend you will enjoy.

Mr. Prasno was an absolute delight as he guided us through an exquisite menu for our palatte. 10/10 will highly recommend to veg lovers! Phurr is a gem — the bird-themed décor is absolutely stunning! The coconut mango shot as a welcome drink was refreshing. Loved the Andhra-style broccoli with hummus and the perfectly done paneer satay. The mocktail was vibrant and delicious, adding a lovely touch to the meal. Okay so you might have to wait a bit like 30-40 minutes even with a Booking but it's worth the wait. The food is top notch and delicious. They serve you a complimentary welcome drink which is just so different and nice. Andhra brocolli and cheese wanton are must try, andhra brocolli is probably my favourite food now. They also gave us 2 free dessert for waiting around 50 minutes which was a added bonus. Overall i loved it and would definitely like to visit again

I had the pleasure of sampling their chicken kababs and mutton and chicken biryani during my recent visit to Empire Restaurant on Castle Street in Ashok Nagar. With delicate chunks of meat that nicely matched the well-seasoned rice, the biryanis were delicious and fragrant. Succulent and expertly grilled, the chicken kebabs had a delicious blend of spices that made a lasting impression. The entire meal experience was improved by the timely and kind service. Very Disappointing Experience We ordered Kadai Paneer and Chicken Kebab, but the food was extremely disappointing. The Kadai Paneer tasted like a generic, watery onion gravy. absolutely no real flavor or freshnes. Chicken Kebab was not what we have ordered they gave some other item, and that too had no proper taste. Complete mismatch and poor quality.

Empire Restaurant – Castle Street The restaurant is small but has a decent ambience. I really liked the live kitchen TV display in the dining area — it’s nice to see their kitchen cleanliness and hygiene visible to customers. I tried their veg thali and was pleasantly surprised! It’s great to see a non-veg restaurant offering such good vegetarian variety. Overall, a good dining experience.

Great Kerala food. Tried chicken Varaval and Parotta -tried two kinds of Parotta. The food here is amazing and the price is very reasonable and it’s a huge space to if you want to have a lot of people then this is the place and they stay open till late night, what else can you ask they have options from full quarter or half depending on how many people is going to eat? The menu is limited, but not so limited, enough items to try for months

Crowed during weekends expect some waiting time. Limited parking. Suggestion to owner- try to provide caps and some ventilation to workers inside as we can see they are sweating and sweat drops are spilling on food service area( might fall into food unintentionally)

An old classic place for chats situated in one of the oldest locations of Bangalore. Its clean, fairly quick given the crowd. Personally I would like less om-puri on the chats and instead would opt for their avalakki on my chats.. Place definitely is worth a try/return of you are around the place.

If you’re looking for a quick bite in Malleswaram, this place offers a reasonably priced and decent quality South Indian meal. I tried the South Indian thali, which was quite satisfying for the price – not exceptional, but definitely not bad either. The onion dosa was average in taste; nothing too special, but it gets the job done if you’re craving something filling. Overall, it’s a decent spot for a casual meal without burning a hole in your pocket.

This place has one of the best Masala Dose. Self service and Table service are available. AC hall is in the first floor. Chats are really good here, especially Dahi puri and Sev puri. Pani puri was okay. Veg biryani is also good but its too oily. Hot chocolate fudge is delicious 😋

Chaats are good to eat. Chole batura is awasome expensive 160 rs but worth the taste. Spanish roll i tried it was old stock kind of spoiled and was disgusting 🫣. Veg put veg rolls were excellant. Over all good experiences but one thing is prices are not competitive it's like after you eat and think you feel you paid more for the items you ordered which has to be in line with market peers. We went there as my wife and I were in the neighborhood and she remembered this one time a decade ago she had gone there and had some amazing food. But this time was as opposite as the india-new zealand test series last year (or maybe before that, i don't follow cricket). The most disappointing dish was the gobi manchurian, a personal favorite of mine. This was somehow flavorful and tasteless at the same time proving that the word oxymoron was invented by someone who went to this food camp. The interior and decor was good and neat and the service folks were timely but without good food, it's very much like an emotional rant; pointless.

Asha Food Camp in Malleshwaram is a popular vegetarian restaurant that serves delicious food and great coffee. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere and is known for its friendly service and reasonable prices. I highly recommend the filter coffee, which is served in a traditional steel tumbler. The food at Pramampara Asha Food Camp was average and unfortunately didn’t sit well. I experienced stomach bloating after the meal, which was disappointing. It might be worth reviewing the ingredients or preparation methods to ensure a better dining experience for guests.

All you can eat BBQ at your table plus a host of other dishes, fresh roti, nan etc. Desserts section is weak in quality and not managed well. The BBQs are fully done and brought to your table for future heating I would say rather than starting from the scratch. Service is excellent

Punjab Girll, the Barbecue offers wide varieties of buffet and barbecue starters in both veg and non veg cuisines. Tried the vegetarian side of things. The different dishes are all to the point, and are mouth watering. Better tweaks can be made on the dessert side of things. Hoping the team will work on this. Overall a wonderful experience. Prices on the weekend are more steep, unless you book via zomato or Swiggy and unlock some discounts.

This place is located in an iconic spot with a fantastic ambiance, especially the outdoor coffee seating, which is excellent. We tried the blueberry cake and coffee. The blueberry cake was delicious and well-made, definitely worth trying. However, the coffee came pre-sweetened, which I didn't like, as any other coffee shops usually provide sugar separately for customization. Parking is very limited, and street parking is not an option, so plan accordingly. They accept card, UPI, and cash payments, making transactions convenient. Overall, a great spot for a relaxing coffee break, but I wish they let customers adjust the coffee sweetness to their preference.

Such a classic place on church street. There is indoor and outdoor seating as well. Service is quite basic. The interior is dimly lit. Decent variety of coffee and food too. The fries are a classic and we always enjoy a good plate of it to munch on while catching up with family and friends. The pastas are quite good. The tiramisu was ok. We get better ones just down the road.

I had lunch at Matteo Café today and ordered the red sauce pasta along with a peach iced tea. The food and drink were quite good, and I appreciated the flavors. However, I was disappointed with the service. It felt like the staff weren’t very attentive or interested in providing a welcoming experience. A little more enthusiasm and attention to customers would go a long way in improving the overall dining experience.

Please note: This review is for vegetarian food. The Matteo Coffea is a popular place and I really wanted to try it out. However, I believe, the hype is due to the low prices. There are not many options on the menu, especially for vegetarians. I ordered the veg burger without mayonnaise. The mayo was already mixed as coleslaw, so had to give us vegs also. Both my friends ordered paneer wrap. The wrap should come wrapped in paper or aluminium foil, because, with one bite, all filling in the wrap fell out from the other side. Since it happened for both my friends, I think the cafe should change the way wraps are served. Tiramisu was a straight up disappointment. The portion was huge but it was a bit chewy, not melt in the mouth you get at Diggin and Bigg Chill. Overall, a 3 star experience.

Decent hookah bar. It's originally on the 3rd floor but if you need drinks, you'll have to go to 5th floor where drink and Hookah are served. Sometimes there is waiting on 5th floor. Not so premium. Good place located in a residential area. Food quality was good. We tried hot and sour soup and potato shots both of which were good. The arrabbiatta pasta and the white sauce pasta were both good. Since we went in the afternoon the service was slightly slow but nothing major. Ambience is very good particularly in the summer sitting outside during daytime. Parking maybe an issue since it is located in front of a school. Dishes are decently priced compared to some of the other similar cafes around.

Café Nosh is such a cozy little gem! The perfect spot to unwind in the evening. The ambiance is truly lovely, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Just a heads-up, it tends to get quite busy on weekends after 7 pm, so plan your visit accordingly! Definitely worth a visit for a relaxing time.

Its a small cozy cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating facility. The food is amazing with courteous and friendly staff. Special shout outs to coconut soufflé and fish finger. If you are looking for amazing food this can be your spot. Only Con is there is no car parking facility.

Ambience: a good 7/10, cut little place, area is not so crowdy, good comfortable seating , is a bit off from the main Sahakar Nagar road Food: Hot Coffee - Priced at ₹90 for an extremely bad taste. You can't really smell/taste proper coffee. Do not try (even for fun) Peri peri chicken - very decent appetizer, chicken is a little bit dry from the inside according to my liking, but the marination makes up for it, will recommend for a try atleast. Veg Arrabbiata Penne Pasta - extremely good pasta, and probably the best Indian styled pasta anywhere in North Bangalore. The 'scarpetta' could have been a bit longer, but was seasoned with garlic very well. Recommend this.

Was charged more than the MRP for a Diet Coke, and when I asked the server about it, they were extremely rude. Their response? "You should’ve asked before ordering." I shouldn’t have to ask about something as basic as MRP. Honestly, I would’ve been fine with the extra charge if the can had been served properly, but I was just handed the can without any explanation. Definitely not coming back after this experience.

I have never been disappointed with this place. Every vegetarian dish I have tried over my multiple visits have been excellent. The quality has been maintained very high from the beginning. Service is quick, portions are quite big and prices are incredibly reasonable. This place is so much worth than some ridiculously expensive places in malls.

We ordered the Chicken egg special thukpa, and i really liked it! It had that warm, comforting feel, and the portion was generous-enough for 2 to 3 people. However, the Pork Ribs were a big disappointment-instead of ribs, we were served large fatty pieces. That was quite disappointing. We returned the dish and ordered Chicken fried momos instead, but they took way too long-about 20 minutes to arrive. Overall, the place has a nice vibe and some good dishes, but I’d recommend checking before ordering certain items.

We visited this restaurant on a rainy evening when the nearby place we had in mind was completely packed. Since we were already craving Tibetan food, we decided to try it out here. We ordered Tingmo (the traditional Tibetan steamed bun), Thukpa, and Honey Chicken. The Tingmo was soft and fluffy, and it paired well with the sides. The Honey Chicken was also quite enjoyable, with a nice balance of sweetness and crispiness that made it a good starter. However, the Thukpa was a bit of a disappointment. The broth felt average, lacking depth of flavor, and the chicken pieces were overcooked, making them rubbery and less appetizing. A little more care in preparation could have made it much better. The restaurant atmosphere wasn’t very comfortable either. Because of the rains, the space felt poorly ventilated and somewhat suffocating. While the service was decent, the overall vibe could have been warmer and more inviting. In summary, this restaurant is an okay option if you’re specifically looking for Tibetan food and happen to be nearby. Some dishes, like the Tingmo and Honey Chicken, are worth trying, but others, especially the Thukpa, leave room for improvement.

I purchased chicken kabab (1 plate) for Rs160, 1. Chicken was not fresh, it looks like atleast 3days old stock. 2. Size of chicken peices are very small, even these were not covering half of this parcel box. 3. Rs 10 parcel box is worth then inside item. 4. Quality of the taste is very worst. 5. This same quantity of item I can get from road side mobile vendor with better taste for just Rs 50. Dear all, pls avoid visiting to this restaurant.

I had mutton pulav (₹270). It was a subtle pulav with good 3-4 mutton pieces. They have rice and mutton pieces separately and have both in a hot box. The quantity was pretty good. The taste was also good. The pieces were kind of bony. Overall a decent experience.

Found 2 cockroaches in the chicken biryani, informed the staff they told they'll change it but I'm not sure if they made a new batch. Refund was provided no doubt in that, but I really hope they made a fresh batch.

I tried chicken pulav at this place in jayanagar,4th T block. It actually tasted good. The pulav rice was nice and the chicken pieces were properly cooked. They serve it with a half boiled egg. The only thing is that they didn't give any plates. Also kshatriya kebab tasted good. The price was 150rs for chicken pulav and 140rs for kshatriya kebab.

Went on weekend. Tried bun maska with kadak chai which was not kadak and that was for 50 rs. Have had better at a cheaper price at a better place. Only one guy was to attend to all the people sitting there. Service was late. Could have been better.

Chai Patty is my daily getaway spot whether it’s to have a heart-filled conversation and endless laughter with friends or to simply sit by myself and sip on a nice cup of coffee. For someone who enjoys visiting different cafe’s, I can’t seem to help myself but always return here. Home away from home. The owner’s are kind, easy to speak to and very welcoming. A must visit if you’re looking for snacks, yummy ghar ka khaana, excellent Chai/Coffee and a cozy spot to chill and relax.

The only and only thing good about this place is the ambiance. The tea was dull, and the food has absolutely no life in it. Everything comes out of a freezer and feels unreal. I look forward to fresher and more tasty food and beverages. (Obviously I haven't tried everything on the menu yet, but this review is from what I've tried thus far)

Chaipatty...Located in the heart of Indiranagar. Visited this place recently...pretty cute, small and cool place to chill out with a cuppa tea and i justtt love the seating arrangements. The ambience is quite interesting and striking....also you can see a beautiful collection books and novels. The owners are very cordial and the owner lady is super friendly. Do try their signature Kullhad Chai and Maggie. Very quick service and affordable prices. If you're looking for a calm place to hangout with your friends, Chai Patty is definitely the place to go to. Would love to visit again sometime.

At first glance from the exterior it looks like a simple cafe, the usual cliche one might assume, but what awaits you after the two floor hike is a discernment of monastic tranquil. Walls painted in shades of amber and adroitly placed bolsters gives you a notion of sitting in a darbar. The hosts showed us remarkable hospitality, and made us feel quite at home. If you're looking for a quiet place to have an evening read or maybe even a quick hangout with your friends, chai Patty is definitely the place to go to. The food was good and here are my ratings: Pork Breakfast Tacos (7.7 out of 10): The Pork was cooked really well and was really soft. I personally found the pork slightly under seasoned to my liking, highlighting the taste of the meat, which I didn't mind. Portion sizes are good and filling and I was satisfied. Beef Breakfast Tacos (8.2 out of 10): Portion sizes are similar to the pork tacos. I really liked the taste and texture of the meat and would highly recommend it. Meat wasn't overly heavy, it was refreshing and suitable for breakfast for most people. All English Breakfast (6.5 out of 10): To be honest I expected more from this. The sausages were great , besides that I found everything else mediocre. The bacon I didn't find was great either and I wasn't too happy with the portion sizes either (although pretty filling, cannot be compared with the other two dishes). I consider it overrated at the moment and I would encourage Hole in the Wall to revise their recipe All the eggs were cooked really well Overall a pleasant experience. The owner is great and friendly and the ambience is a 10 out of 10. You can notice the effort which was put into the decor and styling of the place and it makes a huge difference. Foood was reallly good. Especially have to talk about how well the toast and eggs were made. They were cooked really well. The bread used to make the French toast was oh so fluffy and airy and just perfect. The quantity was honestly more than enough, and really filling. Service was really good, and food arrived really quickly too! Parking would be the other thing to be worried about, with the main route to this outlet undergoing road works, the pocket roads are quite narrow and often blocked because of the same.

We recently visited The Hole In the Wall Cafe in Kammanahalli after hearing a lot about their English breakfasts and all-day brunch offerings. This branch is one of their multiple outlets, with the original “OG” branch in Koramangala. The cafe immediately gives off a cozy, welcoming vibe with its unique decor, featuring nostalgic items like old cameras, tape recorders, and vintage collectibles that add character to the space and make it a warm spot to hang out with friends or family. We ordered the Boston Cream Pie Pancake, Meaty Beef Cheese Burger, and Iced Tea. The Boston Cream Pie Pancake was fluffy, well-cooked, and indulgent without being too sweet, while the beef burger was juicy, cheesy, and filling, making it a perfect brunch option for meat lovers. Both dishes lived up to the cafe’s reputation for hearty, satisfying meals. Overall, Hole in the Wall Cafe in Kammanahalli is a great spot for those craving an English breakfast or a relaxed brunch in Bangalore, with a warm ambiance, good portion sizes, and food that leaves you content. This place has been good unless you visit on the weekday. It was terrible. Bad service and totally disappointing food. We ordered French toast with custard and banana, but they didn't have custard. The French toast was barely soaked. Asked for scrambled egg and they got us sunny side up egg first and then poached egg. Was such a sad experience. Its sad that the staff just show no interest when the owners or managers are not around. They don't even respond to our calls.

A perfect brunch place with a lot of tasty options both veg and non-veg. Service was quick and atmosphere was amazing. Highly recommended.

I had a baconic burger and a cold coffee. The bacon was the saltiest ever. I had asked for coffee without sugar, but it was definitely sweet . Otherwise the burger was nice. Music was too loud for me. On the whole it’s a nice place if you don’t count calories too much and don’t mind the decibels. My niece said they lower the volume on demand

One of my favourite cafés in Bangalore. The ambience is cozy with a charming, retro feel that makes it perfect for a relaxed brunch. The food I tried were all so tasty and satisfying, especially the nutella croissant and pesto veg sandwich. Chicken sandwiches are also good and meaty. I love their sides as well like hash browns and bacon to go with the order as well. Prices are reasonable to the gourmet quality provided, which makes it even better value. Overall it is a great spot for families or catching up with friends and one I would happily return to.

Absolute garage good. I used to eat here in my college days but now it has become the worst restaurant. Visited multiple times over the past couple of weeks. Ordered multiple dishes they all are horrible. Please avoid this garbage restaurant. The mixed combo noodles is the worst they will serve you a cold dish. Followed by panner manchurian it feels like rubber in my mouth and the taste is salty.

A friend took me here saying it would be great. The guy at the "counter" seemed rude. I thought to myself the food is going to be so good that this guy can afford to be this rude. But no. I was mistaken. The Gobi manchurian didn't have any manchurian flavor at all. Schezwan noodles was basically raw chilli powder noodles. The place also seems pretty unhygienic.

On a Saturday evening, reached the place and found it crowded like hell. People must love it a lot judging by the numbers. No place to sit. I ordered schezwan noodles. Took a lot of time for the request to be fulfilled. But the quantity was really generous! Taste was nice too. Would like to visit again on a weekday and order some gobi or paneer Manchurian.

This is a very famous fast food place among students. The food is quite cheap and the taste is okay. I have tried several things here. Recently tried Gobi and paneer manchurian. Don't peek into much hygiene because that isn't here. This place is easily available on gmaps.

One of the best street food in indiranagar. Very quick service and absolute taste at affordable prices. Best take away. Superb taste must try-Gobi manchurian noodles and others. Can easily locate and situated in prime location.

Such a great place with tastiest food and school themed cafe. The ambience there is super cool. The cutlery was kept in a geometry box and the menu book is covered with brown sheet and sticker and check was represented as a report card. All these reminscenes school memories for sure. The desserts are super great. We had red velvet fudge it was so heavenly and pizza is lit. The school captions and pictures on the wall were awestruck. Even the water bottles they gave are also so cute.

Located a bit ahead of the Ulsoor lake, Skoolroom is a as-the-name-suggests school themed cafe and the interiors have done complete justice to the name. Each and every detail has been worked up on starting from school water-bottles to pencil box cutlery holders. Doesn't it sound amazing! I visited this place on a Saturday evening with few of my friends to try out their brown-paper covered menu.😁 We started with some shakes and I had a rainbow unicorn shake which was presented nicely and tasted good as well. Next we had the crispy corns which were good in taste and then golden basket which had a good presentation but was a bit too tangy for my mouth. Then we had some nachos which aptly crispy and tasty along with some chef special prawns which was creamy and yummy so much that I couldn't stop myself from eating it continuously. At the end we had a chicken burger which was just average but the pizza that we ate was really cheesey with good crumbs of chicken in it.

Recently, I visited this awesome, beautiful and nostalgic restaurant. Why I am saying it nostalgic because of its ambience and decor. Talking about the Interior of this place they have tried to give a school classroom look with every possible way. And they have succeeded in their attempt. From the chairs, tables to wall arts everything will resemble you of your school days. They also serve the spoons in a pencil box, also their menu is like the notebook and the bill payment card is like the report card that you guys use to get after your exams. Now let's talk about the food here I did try their burgers, pizza and Maggi. I order their chicken pizza, chicken tikka burger and chicken pizza. Everything was delicious and superb, to be honest, I like the flavour. And I highly recommend you guys to try out their white rice and Thai chicken curry combo especially. So, overall I love the place for everything I experienced there. A must visit place if you love to have some delicious meals with your friends and kids.

5 STAR PLACE THIS!! In every aspect and every manner, be it the ambience, the food, the service, value for money whatever. This place deserves a 5 star rating for all of these. Let's start with the part which impressed me the most, it's ambience. The ambience of this place is full of innovation and astute arrangement. You enter the restaurant and you'll see rows of tables and chair lined up just like a school classroom (hence the name, Skoolroom). You settle down at your table and I'm sure you'll notice an old steel pencil box lying on the table. Perplexed by what this is doing here, you open it and see that it is used to keep the cutlery (spoons, forks etc.) You look around the walls of this place and you'll notice posters of sportstars, super heroes, some toys lying around etc. All things which are of fantasy and attract school students. You ask for water and a bottle is placed at your table, the kind which we used to take to school when we were students. The waiter will then keep a book on your table which properly resembles a school notebook and also has the trademark brown cover along with the label (see pic). Don't be puzzled, just open it and you'll see that this is the menu. Coming to the food, we ordered the golden basked chicken which are like small baskets with filling of chicken in between, was super duper tasty. We ordered the firey chicken burger, this was of good size and tasted fantastic. Lastly, we ordered the Mac & Cheese chicken pasta and this had a mesmerizing creamy taste to it. Food here is delightful!! The waiters are extremely courteous and you don't have to wait long for your food. Nothing to complain of about the service of this place. After your meal, you ask for the bill and you get a folder titled "Report Card" again, don't be bewildered, just open the folder and you'll find your bill there. Full marks to this place for it's innovation and inventiveness.

Skoolroom a very good cafe situated in ulsoor has an intriguing ambience with good decor and has a look of all the school memories one can think off hanging on the walls of the cafe. We can see a number games which are placed inside the cafe which can be played by anyone. One can see all the physics ,mathematics formulas written on the walls . The menu is a printed notebook with binding cover on it which will bring back the memories of school. The food section has a decent list of items and we ordered mexican kid nachos and veg momos in the veg section and fish fingers and chicken fried wonton in the non veg section. The nachos were baked properly with a crunchy taste with the salsa on the top with proper dressing. The momos had a good veg filling with the sauce not spicy which changed taste of momos. The fish fingers were pretty good with clean fry of the fish into fingers and the mayonnaise was the perfect combination. The chicken wonton were crisp with a proper filling of a wonton and a chilly sauce dip was given with it which made it taste better. We then ordered pizzas which were both good with proper crust and cheese layering on the top. We loved the pizza. We had also ordered cold coffee which was a proper thick coffee mug. The best part of the food experience was the bottles which were given for drinking water were actually the school bottles , which was nice a idea and also the bill was presented in the form of report card. Overall experience of the food here was great. The parking facility is not available and parking could be done on the roads nearby. Food - 4.5/5 Ambience - 5/5 Staff - 4/5 Price - 4/5 Happy fooding.

Located off the MG Road in a narrow lane, this charming place is worth visiting for its delicious food and cutesy décor. There are many picture-worthy corners, like a wall decorated with vibrant cups and saucers to a mural with horses. The shades of turquoise are easy on the eyes. Though they’re masters of concept cakes, their food menu is equivalently exciting. We had their Omelet Breakfast with Cheese and Mushrooms, a Happy Crepe filled with banana slices with peanut butter and salted caramel. Next, I had their The Pink Crepe. The pink in it is not because it has pink fruits but due to the color of the beetroot. It is a sourdough beetroot crepe stuffed with spinach and cheese, served with a side salad. The beetroot sourdough was new to my palate, and I loved it. With it, we had their Fresh Orange Juice, Oreo Shake, and a Banana Date Smoothie. We ended our dining with their delicious Flourless Chocolate Cake. I admired their bookshelf concept of Leave a book behind and take one home. Unique. Cheers!

Want an outstanding find just off MG road. Happy Belly Bakes is the perfect mix of a great ambience coupled with some absolutely beautiful food. Ambience: (5/5) It is well lit and has plug points in many key locations making it a great place to actually sit and work. The colours are white and azure/duck egg blue. Very comfortable to sit at for long periods of time. Comes with board games and books as well ensuring that whether you are with a group or alone, there is something to do. Food: (5/5) I initially stepped in thinking it was a dessert and coffee shop, however I was quickly surprised when I saw all that was on offer. This place boasts of multiple all day breakfast options coupled with some great Italian food. We had a cappuccino and cold coffee as part of the beverages and both were made nice and strong just the way I like it. The Margarita pizza was very unique, the flavour from the base and the pesto made it an incredible delight to taste given the burst of flavours in the mouth. The brownies were just like the ones my grandmom used to make when I was little, so no guesses here, I was in heaven. The apple crumble was also delightful in how it just melts in your mouth when you eat it. Perhaps the only letdown was the cheese cake which seemed to have a harder consistency that what I prefer and used to. Summary: A great little find in the middle of Bangalore for the fantastic ambience and an equally great food option to complement. If you are around MG road, do drop by and you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended.

Happy belly is a pretty good coffee shop. The coffee, food & desserts are really good. They have got the best possible hot chocolate in the city. There are Keto & vegan options in the menu. Definitely worth visiting. They have a play area for kids too. They have both an outdoor and indoor seating area! Will surely recommend.

A great place to spend quality time with you loved once. The person who works there ( don't remember his name ) is old in age but he is really sweet in nature and full of energy. Coffee's are great and pastries and cakes as well. Their thin crust pizza is amazing. The crockeries use in hot beverages are very good. Comfortable and cozy sitting

I've always been a huge of Happy Belly Bakes. I've been here multiple cups times and always had a great time. Their hot chocolate is absolutely to die for. Today i tried their Ferrero hot chocolate and god, it's pure indulgence but I'd still suggest their dark hot chocolate. Their lemon meringue pie is also one of my absolute favourites along with toffee cheesecake! Their breakfast menu is pretty great as well. And the ambience is also just so adorable.

Lovely cafe where it almost feels like you can get some work done while downing excellent hot chocolate. I had the hot dark chocolate today and it was brilliant. My only complain is that the cup, though looking normal sized in the pictures is more or less an espresso cup. Would’ve been nicer if the cup were bigger considering the price. Other than that, it’s a must visit place if you’re craving some hot chocolate.

Lovveeeeed the place. It was too nice. The ambience is brilliant, you've to give it to that. The waiters are very wonderful and sweet. Gave us a small little discount too! We ordered a chocolate bowl and it looked really nice! There was enough peanut butter and granola. Got a small coffee with it too on some discounted deal for 300 rupees. We ordered Margherita Pizza which was pretty cold already when it reached us(the only bad thing) and we ordered a lemon ginger fizz which was good! The brownie was delightful!

It's a 20 yo old shop with decent street food type chaats.. I tasted only their (non spicy) samosa and it tasted really good. It is north indian style with potato stuffing and the typical peas masala you get elsewhere in Bangalore. The samosa dry chaat was totally worth it for 15rs. Only drawback was that it was not hot and they do not have a place to wash our hands. UPI payments are accepted here. If you prefer chaats without peas masala, then this place is worth a visit, but its a simple small outlet and do not compare it with fine dining restaurant that offer north indian style chaats.

Good place to have chat items in Jayanagar, this is very old place. Tried pani puri, sukha puri and samosa chat. All items are with no onion and garlic. They will give onion separately if we ask. Old man sitting is good and talks to us gently. Limited parking as shop located at corner of road

One of the oldest and affordable panipuri places. Taste wise it’s very good. Recommended: Pani puri and Sukha Puri plate Digital payments accepted. It’s in Jayanagar so four wheeler parking in front of shop is difficult to get.

It is just average in taste. The puris are also out of shape and very solid. Too much potato is stuffed. Pani is also just ok. No one attends you on arrival. Am old man becomes active when we finish eating. He talks all glib talk. If you have a choice avoid this joint and suggest a good पानी पूरी shop to me, too.

Waste of an effort to go there! The guy couldn't manage to find green chillies for the pani-puri's he was selling. When asked for more spice, he simply handed us a whole green chilli, instead of chopping and mixing in the stuffing. He has Calcutta Famous Phuchka written on his banner, but nowhere close to say the least. I feel bad for the people who have recommended this place in the ratings, they are deprived of what an actual good phuchka/pani-puri tastes like! Don't waste your time here if you are looking for that authentic phuchka taste.

This review is specific to the Sunday Special Chola Bhatura. Went today after hearing about this place from a post on Twitter. Well worth the effort. Pretty much no seating, you just stand and eat. The Chole is tasty and bhaturas are light and fluffy. I had two, my friend had 3 and it didn’t feel heavy AT ALL. They serve with a smile and you can go back for more chole, masaledaar aaloo, onion etc. bhaturas come out of the Kadhai and are on your plate in a minute after that. Price: 100 for a plate of two Bhaturas. No parking near the shop but plenty of paid parking available nearby. On Sundays plenty of free street parking is available.

Superrrrb bhaturas. Rare find in bangalore. Very fun and happy go lucky chefs and staff too! Remember this place serves choley bhature only 7:30am to 11:30am on Sunday. Be on time!

Honestly, Maaheswari Chaatwala feels a bit overhyped. The food is just okay — nothing special for the price they charge. If you’re craving something really tasty, I’d suggest trying Eat Fit Panjabi nearby. Their chole bhature is much better in both taste and quality, plus it’s reasonably priced.

Fabulous and delicious Chole Bhature breakfast in the morning time followed my masala chai, very welcoming Staff owners and wonderful Ambience, Want to have to regularly whenever possible even if it's 8 kms away from home.

The chola bhatura here are the best I have had in Bangalore. Super light on the stomach and tasty. The chola and masala aloo don't have too much masala, just enough to hit all the right spots. The service is a bit slow.

This shop doesn't even deserve a one star rating, I've bought a 60ml Chivas bottle, the MRP was 360₹ but they charged me 480₹ , I've been cheated, if at all you need to buy anything, visit some other shop, this shop is run by cheaters, people be warned, always ask for MRP price, people at this shop may cover the bottle with newspaper to hide the MRP price , don't let that happen, see the bottle & MRP price and then buy....

Although they don't have a table service, they have small benches. Customers can sit and enjoy their food. The customers have to park there, vehicles beside the road at their own risk. The McDonald’s outlet near Cubbon Road has a modern setup with decent seating and quick service. While it’s a good place for casual meetups and quick meals, the cleanliness could definitely be better. The location is convenient, the kiosk operated ordering is good but, had to pay in counter due to network issues.

Visited this McDonald's near Cubbon Park. The space is not very big, and the AC on the first floor wasn’t working during my visit, which made it a bit uncomfortable. However, the service was very fast and efficient — food was ready quickly. I didn’t find any dedicated parking area, but they do have a drive-through which is convenient. Overall, a decent spot for a quick bite, especially if you're around Cubbon Park.

Used their drive through and no one attended, later we placed the order at the pick up counter. 1- we did not get the bill, and the amount was 582 for a cola and three burgers. if the mc Donald’s management is watching out we were there from 07:02 07:07 on 16th November white car (you can verify in your or India garage petrol pump CCTV) 2- we order veg and without asking us it was made in some pink sauce which was super spicy. 3-it looked like one of the manager (uniform) who took the order. All in all no macdonalds anymore.

I visited McDonald's in Bengaluru recently. The place was a bit crowded, and it took around 20 minutes to get my order. However, the food was tasty as always and worth the wait. The restaurant maintained good hygiene, especially the toilets, which were clean and well-kept. There's no proper parking space, which can be inconvenient. The staff seemed a bit less helpful, but given how crowded it was, it's understandable-they were doing their best. The ambience was okay, nothing exceptional but comfortable enough for a quick meal. Overall, a decent experience with great food but room for improvement in service and parking facilities.

These guys have done a blunder today . we are strict vegetarians but these guys have served me mc chicken instead of mc paneer order. I was very hungry after a meeting in near by place I thought we could relax and have a decent meal . Me and my wife were so upset , tell me how can ever we eat in McDonald’s again or recommend this place to any ? I noticed another strange behaviour by the staff over there , they were speaking to each other in Tamil and Tamilian customers were allowed to cut queue. Photos of proof is attached !
