Noodle shop
Indonesian restaurant
Mie Aceh Titi Bobrok is a popular restaurant that has been serving its signature dish since 1996. Known for its flavorful and spicy Acehnese curried noodles, the eatery offers options of beef, chicken, or seafood toppings. The place is always bustling with food enthusiasts drawn to its enticing aroma and authentic spices. Despite its unassuming ambiance, this down-to-earth eatery guarantees a satisfying meal with generous portions of Mie Aceh prepared with aromatic curry.
The best Mie Aceh I’ve ever had! The flavor is perfectly balanced—not too spicy or runny. The portion size is generous, making it great value for money. Surprisingly, the price is similar to places with average taste. It would be even better if they accepted cashless payments!
Jochny R — Google review
This Titi Bobrok Aceh Noodles spot is always buzzing with people! And it's no wonder—it's delicious and super affordable. The flavors are spot on... spicy and bold with a real kick. If you're not too keen on spicy food, though, be a little cautious—there’s a surprise burst of chili that might catch you off guard! But trust me, it’s so tasty... you'll love it!
Anova F — Google review
We came during the Lebaran period and the shop was closed. When they finally reopened on 04-Apr-2025, it was packed, even at 3pm midday. Was told a full house during dinner is normal for this establishment. On to the food, there is nothing comparable. The noodles are in a league of their own. My wife who is a regular patron since her Uni days told me to take the wet version (basah) and it did not disappoint. We will definitely revisit when we come back to Medan City.

My kind of comfort food that always bring back college memories. Literally definition of "Ramah di Kantong, Ramah di Lidah" The spices here is quite spicy, I usually go for Mie Aceh Basah and Nasi goreng aceh which is very affordable and if you wish to go for the special one, I would recommend Mie Aceh SPC
Liwanto L — Google review
A standard food resto/stall which sells mie aceh, nasi goreng aceh, martabak and roti canai. The mie aceh is very tasty and a bit spicy from the spices.
Erica E — Google review
This restaurant is always busy full of mie Aceh fans. People said that you haven't visited Medan if not tasting menus of this cafe. You can order mie with many kind of additional mixes such as seafood, meat, innards with variety of spicy. Taste is very good.
Rekatours I — Google review
The best Mie Aceh I've ever tasted. The taste is just right, the portion also just enough. I ordered Mie Aceh with Shrimp and Squid. The shrimp was plenty. Even after I've finished all the noodles, there were still some shrimps left. I also ordered Roti Cane with condensed milk. It also tasted amazing. You can taste some kind of butter in Roti Cane. Really great. I've come here twice and it was always crowded. But no wonder, with this kind of great dish, people will always come here
Sandra M — Google review
This is one of medan most popular Mie Aceh you should try. Price are really affordable. You can mix and match the toppings : shrimps, calamari, beef and the most favorite here is crab.

Nice spot to enjoy the river in the afternoon with a bottle of bintang. Sometimes if you’re lucky you can see an orangutan between the trees right across the river

Noodle shop
Mie Zhou is a delicious and spicy noodle shop that offers a variety of noodles in different sizes. The noodles are very tasty, and the shop also has a variety of appetizers and main dishes to choose from. Prices start at around IDR 20,000.
I have been a loyal customer of this place for at least 5 years now. Everything on the menu is so good (tasted so delicious). If you are a first timer coming to this place with empty tummy you should try their signature “Mie dandan kuah”, you can adjust the spicyness of the soup.. and my current favorite is “Nasi Sapi”, but unfortunately they don’t serve Nasi sapi everyday, it is available on the weekend and wont last long, so make sure you come earlier. ( and i think this is Halal place for muslim, since they don’t serve pork).

#ReviewMarch2024 #Halal I've Ordered : (Via GrabFood) -Mie dan dan kering Normal lv.2 Rp.44k Strong smell with black pepper, got mie, chicken minced + sauce, parsley, soup, Chili sauce. Delicious but too spicy, u can drink soup. But soup taste not good, It's because boiled pan? -Telur Spa Rp.12k I Think It's pricey, because for comparison, i eaten this "Panmee" at penang, name store Uncle kin Chilli Panmee. Price 8,50 ringgit (Under 25k). Got mie, egg, anchovy, chicken minced+sauce, parsley, fried onion, soup with 2 fish ball, and can take Dry Flake Chilli free (can get much). Please improve
Haiz — Google review
TLDR : This place is worth to try for a noodle lover. While the price is slightly above average, the quality and taste make it worth trying. The shop's accessibility and comfortable environment add to its appeal. If you're in Medan and craving hearty noodles, Mie Zhou is a place to consider. Recently visited this place and ordered the Dan Dan Noodle Jumbo. It costs at IDR 45,000, which I think is on higher end compared to other competitor like Sinar Utama. The noodles were chewy and satisfying, topped with minced chicken, and a spicy sesame-based sauce. The flavor was bold and aromatic, though the spice level was quite intense, even at level 2. For those sensitive to heat, it's better to order for Level 1. The place is quite simple, It's clean and well-maintained, but with no air conditioning, only fans to keep the place comfortable. During my visit, the place was not crowded, allowing for a relaxed meal. Parking is convenient, with spaces available across the street.
Liwanto L — Google review
Just found out that this is halal restaurant We ordered : - mie ayam Rp. 32.000, taste 4/5 - mie ayam dan dan Rp 36.000, taste 3/5 Portion is quite small. If you don't mind about the price you can try at least once
Than R — Google review
Taste of nostalgic noodle stall ever sold in jakarta, the taste is still good
Pepperidge F — Google review
I must have 2 bowls of noodle here everytime I visit this store. The Dan Dan noodle and Ayam Special noodle. Prices are a bit premium for the local standard but it's worth the taste in my personal opinion.
D G — Google review
We ate a “spicy” noodle soup which to my surprise was seasoned with a lot of pepper (instead of chillies). Being used to spicy Thai food, the pepper killed in my opinion the whole dish. We then tried pangsit udang nano nano, which tasted good

Breakfast restaurant
Diner
Lontong Kak Lin is a popular food stall in Medan, known for serving delicious traditional vegetable rice cake breakfast. Located across SMA 1, it offers a variety of tempting side dishes such as eggs, fried chicken, and rendang. The place is comfortable, affordable, and also sells other local foods like lontong pecel and savory rice.
We tried variety of lontong and they all tasted superb. But their daun singkong in my meal were bitter, kinda ruined the breakfast. Ordered teh tarik but the waitress forgot abt it and it didn't came. The rest were good - fast service, friendly waitress explaining the menu.
Nabilah S — Google review
After looking at some recommendations for authentic Indonesian the cuisine (non-chinese influenced), i decided to give this a try and it was near my hotel. I ordered lontong sayur, lupis and had sate kerang (cockles). The lontong was good for my taste buds - delicious but not noteworthy. Portion is decent. The gravy is quite spicy. The crackers don't heighten the flavor profile either. Lupis had the right texture not too hard, the syrup was sweeter. Staff was quick to take order and not offering me a look at the menu. It was my first time, perhaps should not assume I know the menu? Upon payment, they do not provide receipt as well. For non-indonesians, don't be surprised when they serve you sate kerang and an assortment of fried snacks when you dine in even though you didn't order. You won't be charged for these unless you consume them. I would recommend this place for tourists who are seeking authentic Indonesian cuisine. As for me, it's not something I would visit often.
Muhammad M — Google review
Great authentic food here. You must try their Lontong Medan, which is their specialty here. It tastes very good. I think they put some peanut paste in the Lontong menu, which makes its flavor rather unique and delicious. Recommended
Keluarga B — Google review
I ordered Lontong with beef rendang. The food taste okay overall, I had better before. The lontong is firm and cooked perfectly. It is spicy, be careful if you dont like to eat spicy food, you might want to ask the waiter/server not to put the sambal or spicy vegetable dishes. Service is good, waiter and servers are nice. I asked many questions and they answered all nicely. Very attentive and welcoming (in medan way 😀) Atmosphere is okay… “local wisdom” or kearifan local in bahasa indonesia. People smokes like nobody businesses, this is very common in cities outside jakarta… which I don’t enjoy so much as I don’t smoke. All in all, you can try this. But next time I go to medan, I will go to eat lontong medan in some local traditional markets
F W — Google review
The taste is not like what it was, the waiting time is also too long.
Coretanmaslim. C — Google review
Huge portion! Taste just okay: it’s tasty but not good enough to make me come back here. The place has indoor and outdoor seating area. I think the indoor one has problem with hygiene or air circulation because it smells like rat when I was there.
Junia A — Google review
Way too pricey for lontong sayur. Tastes like regular lontong sayur, but you can add various toppings: egg/chicken/rendang/combined. Too spicy for me though.
Sandy S — Google review
I like their lontong , basically it's curry and similar to glutinous rice. Alot of chips, Tempe, vege and I asked for perkedel i.e. potato. My friend ordered nasi uduk, quite nice also. Each meal plus drinks (Ice tea) about IDR 33,500.

Noodle shop
Mie Aceh Baru offers a small serving of traditional fried noodles from Aceh, which some may find overpriced. However, the crab fried noodles are priced at Rp 50.000 and have an overall good taste. It is a nice choice for a supper menu and the place is clean, contrary to what some reviews claim about its cleanliness and hygiene. The noodles are of great quality and cooked in the style of Aceh, with a delicious sauce.
Great quality noodles, Aceh Style. Freshky cooked with a great sauce, simple foods for a great dinner.

Probably the slowest KFC I’ve ever visited in my life. When I was there only one stuff in the front desk doing everything. The other stuffs were just standing back and doing nothing. Hence the queue was very long. And that stuff served me also picking a smaller drumstick to me in front of my eyes. The taste is ok.

In this New Normal Era, this fast food restaurant serve the best for each of you their customer. Mostly in health direction according to avoid covid19 transfer process At the first time you enter the restaurant, they will check your body temperature and then ask you to wash your hand on their 'Wastafel' After that, you can order your meal.., even on this "sad condition," they still serve you best, with the taste of the food There is one thing that made me uncomfortable, I can't smoke, because they shut down the smoking area, which is located at 2nd floor balcony

Nasi goreng restaurant
Diner
Nasi Goreng Komdak is a beloved Indonesian dish that has captured the hearts of many, especially in Medan. This iconic fried rice, often enjoyed as a late-night snack, is named after its original location near Komdak (now Sun Plaza). Known for its rich flavors and delightful aroma, each plate features either chicken or beef topped with a perfectly fried egg cooked in margarine. The addition of "wok hei" gives it an irresistible taste that keeps diners coming back for more.
It's a compulsory fried rice when our family visit Medan....and top it with the fresh orang juice....also try the martabak in the food stall....
Rush 2 — Google review
One of the recommendations for fried rice in the city, delicious fried rice has a distinctive taste, tastes buttery and is wrapped in banana leaves for takeaway, price affordable, service ok The place is also strategic close to sun plaza, tourist attractions and several other culinary places. Definitely worth to try
Sehat S — Google review
One of my fav nasi goreng, they use margarine/butter into it which makes a unique taste and smells good. You also have to try scallop satay, it's very delicious
Lumen N — Google review
Legend cuisine when you visit Medan City. The best food is nasi goreng, served with a delicious crumble or sunny egg. But less people know, the Satay was yummy as well, sold right beside it.
Irwan Z — Google review
People are here for the fried rice (dinner) and it used to be the best. This was during the 90s. The recent dinner there was just ordinary. Order the orange juice here and other side dishes like satay and martabak to complete your meal. Tables may be full on most evenings (weekend).
Jimmy K — Google review
One of the oldest fried rice in Medan city centre. One plate of fried rice comes with topping either chicken or beef, and fried egg costs. It costs Rp16,000 (S$1.60). Fried rice is tasty and full of "wok hei". The egg is fried with margerine and its aroma is awesome. Then, ask for a glass of the coffee shop's fresh orange juice and costs Rp15,000 (S$1.50) Burp....satisfied.

The overall flavor of the food is enjoyable, particularly the chicken noodle soup and meatballs which are delicious. The beverages, including the aloe vera drink, also taste good. The service is satisfactory and the restaurant itself is decent. However, it should be noted that for Muslims, the prayer room is situated separately from the restaurant, requiring a short walk to reach it. During busy hours, this place can become extremely crowded so it's advisable to visit outside of peak times.
I can't find such kind taste like this at my hometown so far. Delicious....!!!

best mie sop kampung in town. i like bone of this chicken.
Bagus R — Google review
The food overall tastes good, but the chicken noodle soup and meatballs taste really good! The drinks, especially the aloe vera tastes good too. Service is okay, the place is not bad, but for muslims, the prayer room is located separately from the restaurant so you'll need to walk a little bit (approx. 100 m) to reach it. In peak hours this place can get really really crowded, so it's best to visit before or after peak hours.
Juniar S — Google review
It is a street food cafe, kind of. The mie sop (noodle soup with chicken) is nice. The place is simple yet warm. A simple and traditional cafe. But the oyster satay is not too good. They should try to find other recipe. The fried lumpia is nice, must to try it. Overall, the cafe is a nice cafe.
Titan 1 — Google review
Tasty food and not disappointing at all.
Paraginta B — Google review
This place may looks not appropriate for some people for it's built upon a large sewer (sometimes will smell bad after rain). But, it serves the best Mie Sop (authentic dish made from various noodle, chicken chops, veggies, soaked in a bowl of tasty soup) in town!
Evan S — Google review
Another local speciality with a notable taste. It called mie sop, a bowl of various noodle with chicken soup. A bowl of mie sop here could be noodle, beehoon, or kwetiaw with soup, the toppings are chopped javanese-style fried chicken and chicken meatball. The soup and beehoon remarkably delicious I must say. While the chopped-chicken will leave a good impression and make you keep coming back another days to get more. Talk about the atmosphere of the place, it won't make us stay too long after done eating. You'll feel a little crowded and warm inside. Toilet available.

Soto restaurant

Soup shop
Soto Bening Khas Medan H Anwar Sulaiman is a delightful restaurant that offers a unique twist on traditional soto. Their version of this soup does not include noodles or mihun, but instead focuses on tender meat slices immersed in a flavorful and refreshing broth. Customers have the option to choose from various accompaniments such as chicken, shrimp, lungs, or babat. A side of perkedel pairs perfectly with the soto and warm rice.
Fast service. Good soto broth, not too salty or peppery. I picked the beef and lungs option (daging + paru) with no rice and accompanied it with two hash browns (perkedel), although three would have been better. No aircon
Alejandro S — Google review
ordered soto bening daging (only meat with rice for 25k) with perkedel (2rb/pieces). there is other filling option which is lung, prawn, chicken and babat. The serving is quick. This dish healthier kind of soto because it does not use any coconut milk. Place is not airconditioned.

I chose the mixed soup menu with lung filling and beef tripe. it tastes fresh, tasty, and really delicious.
Kumala W — Google review
Reasonable price, great taste. Too bad they don't have great coffee. And they also have 2 other branches.
Fadlun M — Google review
I love this kind of soto, without noodles or mihun. Soto contains only meat slices and broth that so refreshing and tasty. There are some choices to substitue or escort the meat slices: chicken, shrimp, lungs, or babat. Perkedel is a good choice to accompany a portion of soto and warm rice. I ordered lungs+meat soto and warm rice that worth only Rp 22K. The serving is fast and nice. Recommended!
Diska F — Google review
Price is affordable and service is really quick. The food came within 5 min of ordering, so if you're in need of a quick meal, this is the place to go! The range of the price for soto is ±25k, included with rice. Perkedel is 2k each, and additional rice for 5k. It's a good deal. The taste is pretty good! The only downside is the cleanliness of the shop. There is a slight musty smell, and the toilet area and the sink reeks of cockroach, so the hygiene of the area is very questionable.
Jeanette — Google review
The best Soto that I ever eat. You can eat many of soto variant here, such as shrimph, chicken, meat, and Paru, or mixed them. The proportional of rice and soto are good. My husband and I eat Soto Paru and Soto meat. Both of them have a good taste each other. The Paru have a crunchy texture and the texture of the meat is very soft. Mie Pansit Akun, a popular noodle shop, offers a delectable bowl of Mie Pangsit. The soup is flavorful and complex, likely made with multiple types of broth. The Keriting noodles are both smooth and pleasantly crunchy. For those tired of pork, the shop also serves Chicken Noodle. Customers rave about the deliciousness of the wonton noodles, finding them simply tasty and enjoyable.
A big bowl of Mie Pansit Akun will change the day. The broth is very rich in taste, I think they use 2 or more kinds of broth on the soup. The noodle, which is Keriting apparantely, taste smooth and soft crunchy at the same time. They also got Chicken Noodle for you who bored of pork.

Delicious wonton noodles or here they called “mie pangsit”. Can’t really describe the taste but it’s just tasty and delicious. We enjoyed 2 portions and tea. All for Rp69K. Fast service. Recommended.

Very successful noodle seller started in Beruang wet-market, and have now been selling in town. If you like a tasty dry noodle packed with strong flavors, then u must give this a try. The texture of its noodle is very good, not too soft or too hard. Remember to add egg on it and its chili is pack with additional flavor that is worth trying even if u cant take spiciness.
Wilsen L — Google review
The noodle taste is really meaty and strong. Accompanied with herbal based soup, you will find an interesting combination of flavours in your mouth. When you pay you will realise that this is one of the most underrated noodle in Medan as of now.

Nestled in the serene highlands, Berastagi Mountain View Homestay & Pizzeria & Tourist Information offers a delightful escape for travelers seeking comfort and hospitality. The friendly owner, Andy, along with his helpful staff, ensures that every guest feels welcomed and well taken care of. From organizing tours to providing scooter rentals for exploring the picturesque surroundings, their service truly shines.
Perhaps the best place to stop is Berestagi Mountain View, especially in terms of price and quality. I liked the remoteness of the guesthouse from the bustling streets and the polite receptionists.
Yevhen M — Google review
Clean basic rooms. Great location amongst the farms. Very quiet. Host Andy very chatty and friendly. Leo the guide took us up the volcano and pulled out a stove and brewed coffee at the top. The hot springs were heavenly, don't miss them!
Louis P — Google review
The service here is what makes it stand out. Our host helped us organise everything from when we arrived to even leaving. Tours and also getting to the accomodation. Super nice and friendly guy always smiling. Rooms were clean and adequate. No aircon but with Berastagi being in highlands it wasn’t necessary for us. And price was also very good for what we got and their pizza’s they made were also good. Highly reccomend if you’re coming to Berastagi
Michael W — Google review
The owner is very helpful to let you arrange things, beautiful view from the balcony and peaceful location outside the centre. The pizzas were good enough for the price but don't get high expectations if you like Italian pizza. The room was comfortable but poor WiFi connection. The guide prayogi was also very helpful and friendly.

Great Homestay with a helpful host Recommended us ketambe rather than bukit lawang, which turned out to be a great decision and made our trip in Sumatra! Rooms good standard and quiet Nice views from rooms Only bad things is the road to get there and the food they serve is okay nothing too special

The owner Andy is a friendly guy as is the young female assistant named Ruth. The guesthouse is in a quiet location away from the busy main road. There is a great view of the mountains to the north and west. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable and the hot shower is great. The pizza, pasta and coffee is great too!

A very cosy and lovely place to stay. Just off of the main road so it is very peaceful to stay here. The breakfast was nice and the pizza was good enough if you fancy some western food. The room was very clean, bed was super comfy and the owner and staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. We would highly recommend staying here and renting a scooter from them to explore Berastagi!

Mie Pangsit AON is a beloved noodle haven that has been delighting taste buds since 1967, with recipes passed down from the owner's grandfather. Located in Medan, this branch of the original eatery in Pematang Siantar offers a clean and air-conditioned environment perfect for enjoying hearty meals.
- Expensive but for me, the best Mie Pangsit in The M or I would like to say “When it comes to Aon, you know it’s On!” - Their milk coffee costs as much as their noodle but it’s as good as their noodle so 🤷‍♂️ - Clean joint - Efficient service - Come early or there will be a long line. Even GoJek will cancel on you sometimes because it’s so packed - Homemade noodle - Eat here almost every week.
Andil O — Google review
Traditional no frills medan noodle shop serving Siantar style noodles. Toppings are generous and the side broth is brown with hints of sweet soy sauce. Quite good but the atmosphere is of traditional noodle shop.
Darmawan D — Google review
Tasty Wonton noodles! I specifically loved the taste and texture of the egg! The toppings were also very nice. Sadly I didn’t notice that there are two sauces on the table that should be used with it until I was done with the plate. But that is to show how yummy it is 😋
Omar — Google review
Noodle taste really nice. You can choose the type of noodle (chewy, original, thin, etc) but I went with the chewy one. Love the texture and the taste of the noodle but the wait before you can get a seat can be quite long.
Edwin T — Google review
This is a noodle store with a long history. It originated from the main store in Pematang Siantar City, Indonesia which is established since 1967, and has a long-term development history of more than half a century. This branch store in Medan City has always been loved and supported by people from all walks of life. It usually shows that it is always crowded and full of diners, guests have to wait to be seated in order. In this not-so-spacious storefront, which is only about five meters in width, often looks overcrowded, which really envies other competitors in the same industry and salivates. To be honest, the noodles sold by this top-ranked noodle store are very popular among diners, with its good textures and delicious taste. Diners can dine-in or take-away and enjoy it at home. In addition, there are also vacuum-packed raw noodles with ingredients for diners to buy it home and freeze for storage. When they want to eat, they can cook and eat it immediately at any time, which is extremely convenient. This vacuum-packed raw dough with ingredients set can also be used as a food gift for relatives and friends at home country or abroad too. (090223/x)

I haven't personally dined in at Ayam Goreng Lombok Ijo yet, so this review will solely focus on their food. From what I've heard, their ayam bakar is possibly the best in Medan. The sauce is delicious and has a smoky-sweet flavor without being overly spicy. The chicken itself is tender and comes in a good portion size.
Haven't dined in yet so this is just a review of the food. Quite possibly the best ayam bakar I've had yet in Medan. Delicious, smoky-sweet sauce that doesn't burn your mouth with spiciness. Chicken is tender and the piece you receive is a respectable size. Served with a perfect scoop of white rice, a few slices of cucumber and both a sweet sambal (similar if not identical to the glaze on the grilled chicken) and a more traditional pure-spicy sambal. Looking forward to getting this again!

The ayam penyet taste okay, the green chilli sambal also okay not spicy, but i love the tempe and the salted fish also, The place not so cozy, it was heated and fan was not enough And cleaness are quite not good

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience, look no further than Franky Pizzeria. This charming eatery serves up some of the most delicious pizzas you'll ever taste, boasting a perfectly crispy crust that rivals even the most popular brands. The fries are equally impressive, made from fresh potatoes and cooked to perfection. While enjoying your meal in a cozy atmosphere, you can choose from an extensive menu featuring both Western and Indonesian dishes at reasonable prices.
The food is really tasty! They have a large variety no matter if breakfast, lunch or dinner. Even beside the good pizza they offer here. Also the beverages are freshly made and coffee here is just what you need. Been here multiple times in 2025 and 2023 and it only got better each time. Recommended 100%

Nice ambience. No fan, had lots of mosquitos. Service was a little slow. Ordered pizza, pork steak and sweet n sour fish. Food was generally quite nice. The pizza was good.
Syandya N — Google review
Only the live guitar music saved it from a one star. Decor looks attractive and Friday music attracted us. However, frustrated as it took 1 1/4 hour to get ONE pizza ( there were only 12 customers in the place!). What arrived was a sad excuse for a pizza - layer of crispy dough smothered with melted commercial cheese sandwich slices. With limited customers, a lot of competition, frankly, Franky needs a lot of improvement to stay in business, without the music.

Top notch! Fresh food, big portions, western food affordable, Indo food cheaper. Large choice of drinks. I recommend that restaurant, however there's no lake view

Warkop Mamak is a popular noodle eatery known for its wide selection of dishes. Located in a bustling area, this restaurant attracts numerous patrons with its diverse menu options. Customers can relish in an array of savory noodles, ranging from traditional favorites to unique creations. With an inviting ambiance and friendly staff, Warkop Mamak provides a pleasant dining experience for those looking to indulge in tasty noodles.
Wandering around this hour searching for best stop to have supper and suddenly one #warkop catches my eyes. 😍😍😍 . This warkop is not that traditional warkop (abbreviation of warung kopi) that we've known which are easily found on streetside. This warkop's more likely to be a café and it is named @warkop.mamak which is located at Jl. Merak Jingga. I'm having this #mieaceh becek which is recommended by one of my 'Food Ohana'. The thick yellow noodle are served in rich, #hot and #spicy curry-like soup. The #bumbu spice mixture consist of black pepper, red chili pepper, shallot, garlic, cardamom, caraway, cumin and star anise. The #noodle and spices are cooked with bean sprouts, tomato, cabbage and celery. Then sprinkled with fried shallot, and served with #emping , slices of shallots, cucumber and dash of kaffir lime. It's slightly sweet, hot, not too spicy and seasoned perfectly. Thankyou @pemanjalidah for recommending me this dish. 😘😚 And I will try the Nasmi Pekanbaru and Mie Lontong Goreng which are recommended by @tommyfu9 later on my next visit. I highly recommend you guys to try this out. And last I want to thank #warkopmamak for your kind hospitality and good job in re-branding the image of warkop. #fattummyid #fattummylocal ================================================ After a long and tiring day of work, finally can get back to mamak 😂😂 Not to my real mom of course.. I'm back to @warkop.mamak at Jl. Merak Jingga. Tonight I'm having this #lontong #mie goreng becek for dinner. This dish is so unique. I can't think of how does #indomie with lontong stir-fried with an egg taste like? But believe me or not.. It works somehow. The lontong is soft and firm. The #instantnoodle is cooked to perfection - not too soft and still has a bite to it. Both of them are stir-fried in homemade "mamak" sauce and reduced to slightly thick consistency. It's slightly sweet, slightly spicy, unique, delicious and addicting. And also the additional crackers, pickled shallot & pickled carrot brings another layer of flavor. I highly recommend you guys to try this out and shout out to young and handsome foodie @tommyfu9 for recommending me this dish. PS. He's searching for his soulmate. And for those who read this.. who knows she is you. ==================================== Hi Tummers.. What do you have for dinner? Tonight I'm having this #Nasmi Pekanbaru from @warkop.mamak with my foodies ohana. In #PekanBaru , they call this #minas .. So basically it's #noodle and #rice been fried together in their secret mamak sauce. It is sided with pickled shallots & carrots, cucumbers, and crackers. It also topped with the perfectly cooked sunny side-up egg. Portion-wise is good. The #indomiegoreng is not too soft which I #love and the #nasigoreng is #delicious . The #eggyolk is still runny 😍😍 This nasmi's slightly #spicy and seasoned to perfection.

The menu includes options made from chicken or beef, accompanied by various satays comprising clam, jengkol, and egg. A standout feature is their refreshing coconut water, which comes at an affordable price of only 5k. Additionally, the soup served with the bakso is flavorful and abundant in kaldu (broth). Who said this was the best place to eat Meatball Noodle Soup (Miesop) in medan are totally wrong. Idk why this overrate food joint is so crowded at its busy time, i can easily recommending you to many other places in medan to have some more delicious Miesop. This is why: the broth might contains a lot MSG based on my tried, then they didnt put any chicken meat on my plate (since its a must), they will charge your bill if you ask for an extra fried shallot (hey it should be free!), there are so many flies around and only 1 ceiling fan in whole room (i didnt believe it when i came here for my first time and forever), the last thing is you will have some bad service and experience here. The only good thing here is they have some fresh coconut.
Kevin K — Google review
Sells hearty portions of bakso, with either beef or chicken, and a whole host of noodle options, to eat in or take out. Reasonable prices. During peak times there is a bit of a wait, though well worth it in the end. Recommended.

Bakso or meatballs (chicken or beef) with noodles of your choice plus soup. The bakso is tasty and chewy.
