I stopped here with my girlfriend for a quick dinner. The burgers are great but the fries are outstanding. Really crispy and nicely spiced. Prices are fair.

Burgers are very tasty. There is a wall of sauces, where you can choose different flavors from mild and sweet to extra spicy and this is free of charge. Classic potato fries can be better quality. Recommended for burger fans.

Came here after suggestion by a Finnish friend. Got the Naughty burger with the fries and it was quite good! The fries are nice and crunchy while the burger was well made and full of flavor. Not that greasy either.

Visited 26th Feb 24 All good. Service was nice and friendly. Food was good too. Mrs loved the battered fries. I loved my burger, it was the double smash, there was something about it that was great and it had a spicy kick to it too! With a meal, water or coffee was free too ✌🏾😁 I can't find anything to say bad about TBH. Will come again if I am a resident but am not. Sadness comes in many forms. 😭

While this place comes highly recommended in Helsinki, I must admit that the burgers failed to impress me with their lack of distinction. Additionally, it was disappointing to discover, only upon payment, that a service commission of nearly €6 was included in the bill, which was not clearly indicated on the menu.

Very solid burger experience. We had the CheeseBRGR smash burgers, which had a great balance of mustard and ketchup tang, with pickles and onions. Really lovely flat top grill flavor. Good caramelization. The smash burgers are small patties, small enough to be served on martins potato rolls, so I had two. The full burgers may be larger but we didn’t have them. The “fries” are wedges, tasty tho. Overall really enjoyed the flavor. The ambiance is only just a ate above take out, so you’re not gonna linger over a long meal, but happy enough to have a beer.

This restaurant is located very close to the center of Helsinki, which makes parking a bit challenging, but it’s definitely worth a visit. The interior is warm and inviting, creating a cozy atmosphere to enjoy your meal. The staff were polite and friendly, and the food quality was excellent, the Italian-style pizzas were delicious, especially by Finnish standards. I was really satisfied with the pizzas I tried. They also have a bar, so you can order both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with your meal. I visited on a holiday, but I’ve heard they offer a lunch buffet on regular weekdays, which is another reason to come back and try more.

Super relaxed place with really cool music — very hip vibe. The pizza was insanely good, with a super thin base and a perfectly crispy crust, almost like in Italy. The only thing that was a bit annoying (which wasn’t the restaurant’s fault) were the seagulls. The staff did their best to clear away leftover food quickly, but sometimes it was just too late, and the birds went for it. Other than that, there’s really nothing to complain about. I’d definitely go back! Especially in the evening, I bet it turns into a really cool bar atmosphere.

We tried the Chilli Caesar Pizza and the burrata. The pizza wasn’t too spicy, so those who are hesitant can give it a try. The burrata was also decent. The staff were very attentive, and the place has a vibrant atmosphere. Pizza: 4/5 Burrata: 3.5/5

truly exceptional atmosphere, beautiful lights and artwork displayed, stopped by on a friday during a busy evening and yet service was prompt and yet did not feel rushed the pizza was by far one of the best i’ve had, took a chance on avocado and bacon and did not regret it in the slightest! i am visiting helsinki on a short trip and would highly recommend this establishment to either a local or tourist

I would certainly recommend this place. Nice pizza, with a gluten-free option for an additional cost that was also nice. The nachos were tortilla chips with guacamole and salsa, no cheese, which was a shame, but the salsa and guacamole was tasty. Staff were very efficient if a little unwelcoming. Decent atmosphere and an overall pleasant experience.

A great spot for casual get-togethers and after-parties! For our purposes this was spot-on place to be. Our group reserved the cozy downstairs space (the cellar), and the atmosphere was just right for relaxing with friends. The food was tasty, and the staff was professional and incredibly friendly. Definitely planning to host another gathering here in the future.

Interesting place with interesting pizzas (I had with a reindeer meat). Average restaurant price, size of pizza is quite good for one person. Mei Lin Sichuan in Helsinki is unassuming—plain decor, calm atmosphere, soft ethnic music—but the food speaks loud. I’m no expert in Sichuan cuisine, but the flavors here hit just right. A touch of heat, deep umami, and generous portions make it a solid lunch spot. The eggplant and tofu Sichuan style? A must. No pretense, just damn good food.

Delicious food and generous portions! We tried several dishes: udon noodles, Sichuan-style eggplant and tofu, mapo tofu, and sweet-and-sour chicken, and every one of them was very tasty. Totally recomended.

Located in a nice neighbourhood area. Pretty close to city centre. Walking distance from stockmann mall. We ordered a few dishes and all turned out to be disappointing. Just dont taste authentic chinese sichuan style. The pork they use for thr dish i ordered is the wrong part of the pork. And taste is off too. So not recommend if you like authentic Sichuan flavour.

Went here for dinner on a weekday without reservation and we were able to get a table right away. The taste was a proper Sichuan flavor and a good level of asian spiciness. We ordered the chicken chili congqing style, dumpling with chili oil and bakchoy with garlic. Dumplings and bakchoy were delicious!! The chicken however, it was a bit difficult to eat it as there were small pieces of bones everywhere. The flavor was good and tasty, but in the end we didn’t enjoy the chicken as much due to the small bones. The restaurant itself was pretty standard looking, nothing too fancy, leaning towards simple decor but it was totally fine. The service was good, the staff were friendly too.

The best Szechuan food I’ve ever had. It’s great for vegetarians, we had the eggplant, mapo tofu and udon noodles. Everything was incredible. The team is very kind to accommodate dietary requests and restrictions. Can’t wait to eat here again.

Surprisingly charming dumpling spot with great service Hill’s Dumplings really impressed us. From the outside you might not expect much, but inside it’s cozy, lively, and clearly popular — we were glad we booked ahead. We tried the pan-fried chicken dumplings, chicken satay dumplings, a pork bao bun, plus rice and salad on the side. Everything was delicious and exactly what you hope for from a place like this, in the best way possible. Portions were just right and the food came out quickly. Staff were incredibly friendly, spoke great English, and stayed attentive without pushing tips or hovering. It can get a bit busy and tables are close together, so expect a lively, medium-noise vibe rather than a quiet dinner. Overall, great food, amazing service, and definitely worth a visit.

We booked hills for a large bachelorette party. We had different eating restrictions and allergies that we asked to be catered for, and hills delivered above and beyond! They were incredibly attentive, supportive and great hosts! I can not recommend them enough! Thank you so much to the whole team that helped make the night amazing for the bride and the group!

My wife and I specifically targeted Hills Dumplings based on some recommendations and were wildly impressed! With a sort of fresh-ish take on a traditional dumpling house, the shop is nestled just a short flight of stairs off the street. Pop by the counter and place an order during lunch- we swung by around 1300 on a Thursday afternoon and while the place had several groups, there was no wait for a table. I highly recommend their dumpling lunch combination; my wife and I tried all 3 varieties of theirs and were surprised to find it hard to pick a single favourite- the satay was particularly interesting if you're down to try something new; but I'm a traditionalist and loved their good 'ole fashioned pan fried dumplings. Their pork bao is great too! For the price this is one of the more impressive little hidden gems of wildly high quality food and quick service you can find on a trip through the city. The first round of dumplings was more than sufficient but we found ourselves ordering another lunch order to share just because we were THAT impressed and wanted to try everything! Can't recommend it enough if you're in the area (or even if you're not- worth a trip out of your way for a great lunch).

Hungry before the show I b-lined to here. Unfortunately as I approached a lot of other people seemed to have the same idea. Which is a good sign if the locals eat here but I backed out of the stairwell feeling overwhelmed. Bracing myself I re entered and in all fairness was rapidly seen to and miraculously a table found for me. I was sat to the right side where it was actually pretty chilled and cosy. As you can imagine they mostly serve dumplings here. I chose the duck gyoza style in satay and the fish curry dumplings. To drink I had this tasty cocktail of sorts which tasted nice and strong. I am not exaggerating when I say these are some of the best dumplings I've ever consumed. They were the perfect texture, flavour and just wow. The service was very attentive and approachable. Would highly recommend and perhaps book to be on the safe side.

Great dumpling spot for sitting outside on patio. The dumplings come served up your way steam, fried, or brothed. Very tasty. We had the chicken steamed. Also got the pork bao buns. Very large in side and good flavor, but a little to dense and to much dough for my liking. Beer was delicious but hard to mess up.

Average portion of dumpling is quite small to adult so consider take ALL-IN portion. Nice food, nice staffs and good atmosphere.

Burger is excellent. Patty is juicy, lettuce is fresh and crunchy, and bun is soft and not dry at all. And fries with the cilantro and bacon, sauce is a winner. We decided to try out burgers in Helsinki since we saw there were a number of burger joints, there must be some kind of burger culture. Not disappointed at all.

My wife was a little hungry and we decided to have a burger as we were just passing by a Burger King. I saw an other Birger Shop just beside BB. So we went there as BB you can have every where! And what we got was just absolutely perfect. Stylish Burger and fries - better than homemade 🫶

I was excited to try this place after reading reviews that it was considered the best in Helsinki. Unfortunately the burger was over cooked and the fries were very salty. I couldn’t even eat them all. The staff was however very welcoming and pleasant. The Restaurant was also very clean and comfortable.

If you want a real, high quality burger then this is the place to go. I had a classic patty instead of the smash one and it was perfectly fried medium. I’ve tried many places in Finland and places with burgers of this quality are few and far between. In addition to the juicy patty, there were distinct tastes in the burger that had clearly been thought out instead of just filling the burger with random ingredients.

Social Burgerjoint! 😋 One of the best burger joints in Finland 😋 This time I ordered their seasonal burger, Woodhaven with Animal Fries. I have to admit that the roasted Portobello mushroom worked perfectly with this burger, because it brought a delicious presentation of umami to the burger 🤤 Social Burgerjoint never fails. Highly recommended! 😋

Wow! Nice burgers, 90s Chilipeppers tracks playing in the background... Can it get any better? Well, actually it can get but just a bit, and Social Burgerjoint takes you pretty far! Most important, burgers are good here - perfect medium cooked, nice ingredients, good bread. Clearly one of the better burgers in Helsinki, but still there is some potential in the beef, Friends & Brgrs did it. Fries are good here, with several options available. Beers menu have some interesting options, like their own "No Forks", but best one on the menu is Day Time IPA. Staff is nice and when I visited it was very clean and nice.

Mixed feelings about this. The frat boy supreme was one of the best pizzas I have had in Helsinki. House wine was a good pairing though it boosted the spiciness. The place is quite small so prepare to wait or go elsewhere. There were two free tables when we got there on Saturday evening. The toilet was tiny and the door needs maintenance. Service was weird. We got it when asked for attention but it's not proactive. Still I recommend daddy greens if you are looking for good pizza in Helsinki.

Popped in for a pizza last Friday, fairly average experience on the whole. Service was fairly casual, no greeting and no offer of service which meant a whole lot of unsure customers crowding around the till area. Pizzas were okay, nice crust and tasty toppings but the underside of the pizza was burnt, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste. Much better dining experience at the Isoroba branch.

Pleasant experience sitting outside on a warm evening (with the sounds of Bruce Springsteen extremely audible from the stadium around the corner). Staff were friendly, and there was helpfully an English version of the menu. I had the 'True Romance', and as someone who used to be quite meat-fixated when it came to pizza, this combination of aubergine, pesto, burrata and parmesan may be one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted.

Very good pizzeria, about as good as it gets in Finland in a restaurant! Tomato sauce not burned/boiled, dough is nice and bubbly, not too much toppings nor oil. A bit too much cheese (pecorino) on almost every pizza, but one can naturally opt out it. Children's pizza is already big enough for an adult 😄 Also good beer, small and big breweries included, plus a patio outside, those gave the final fifth star!

Perfect 🍕! Extra thin and delicious crust, toppings are of great quality and menu items are well designed! The best one I have ever eaten, so far, so this place is on top of my list now! We went around 9pm on Tuesday night and the place was empty which was surprising. Apparently on Friday and during lunch hour it can be crowded.

Excellent Napolitan style pizzas with some vegan options as well. Some pizzas have quite exotic toppings, like apples, but they are still surprisingly good and worth checking. Finnish small breweries are well presented in the selection. Offers also take out.

Great pizza and cool atmosphere! Local brewery beers available and they will clean oven for gluten free pizza. Super friendly and knowledgeable service. Suitable for eating almonds or with a group. Quick service and turnaround. Music fits to overall setting. Definitely worth testing and checking out.

We ordered the 5 dish menu. Both fish dishes were really lovely but two of the dishes (tartar and beef something) were quite boring and flavourless. Dessert was definitely interesting! Service could have been a bit more in depth, we didn't get much info about the wine selection and not many other drinks than wine were available. Quite small portions, we were left hungry but the dishes looked fabulous. Average good, it was a nice dinner but wouldn't neccesarily go again.

Really nice and cozy atmosphere (esp. if you book a table towards the back side of the restaurant). Food was really delicious, everything we ordered was good. My favourite was the Celeriac Slider. Enjoyed the vibe, food and different wines (the cheese plate was average and very small). The selection could be better (esp with the drinks..also there were no non-alcoholic options), and you can not change anything in the tasting menu, which was a bummer. Overall, I would recommend the place and would go again. Its a nice place to hangout with your friends and enjoy a long evening with good food and vibes.

Wino must be one of the best restaurants in Helsinki. It is definitely my favourite. The food is always amazing. The wine is delicious. The staff is super nice and the cosy look of the place just makes you feel so comfortable to just sit down for hours.. would recommend it anytime!

Fantastic food and friendly service with fairly affordable prices, and plenty of gluten free options. We had the 5 course menu and enjoyed everything we were offered. The flavors were clear, well balanced and distinguishable, the ingredients were fresh and used well and the portion sizes were good. Everything on the menu was gluten free to begin with, except their self made bread which was substituted with a gluten free option. One of the cheaper menu prices (59€ for 5 courses) compared to similar restaurants in the city. The wines served by glass were pretty good, but not my personal favorites. The price was comparable to others in the city. No predefined wine package to go with the menu, but recommendations by the staff. Would definitely visit again for the food.

Cozy atmosphere and interior. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Allergies were accommodated and good selection of different and innovative dishes. Not your average wines, but really nice one’s. Also special spirit available when asked, from Georgia.

Great place with a cozy atmosphere and every friendly people! Our waiter gave us a lot of help to find a very nice natural wine in addition to regular wine later. We had a set menu, and all of the dishes were very good and also looked very nice. A place worth going back to, if I’m every in Helsinki again!

What the place! The food was so interesting and so tasty. The wine list was very interesting and we got change to try 3 different ones. If you are Helsinki, this place is MUST to visit, eat and enjoy. The table reservation is needed at least on Friday and Saturday.

Couldn't recommend this cafe more. We fell in love before we had even tasted the (super delicious!) food. Maggie was the most welcoming and warmest host to us and everyone else in the cafe. She even gave us recommendations for things to see in Helsinki. Everything on the menu sounded amazing, vegetarian and meat options of all types. Included amazing quality salad buffet and hot coffee and tea was exactly what we needed for the cold. You will not regret visiting this cafe and will leave with more than just a happy stomach :)

One of my favorite places in Helsinki! An excellent lunch buffee with a lot of variety and delicious lebanese tastes. The keeper of the place Maggie is always so wellcoming and making everyone feel at home. A big recommendation!

For 35€, we’ve got the full menu of 14 meals (6 starters, 6 mains, and 2 desserts). The food was tasty and varied, service was nice and friendly, and the atmosphere - cozy and quiet.

Really good place, everything is home made. Very tasty and delicate, there is plenty of food even if you’re not very soup. 13€30 for lunch buffet, i would warmly recommend that!!

What are you doing? You use quality ingredients but end up doing really bland and boring food. For example, pork neck with "deep-flavoured red wine sauce" had exactly zero wine in it and equally little taste. Butter chicken? Chicken in clear, runny sauce. Wienerschnitzels totally burnt, potatoes roasted dry. Spagetti bolognese? Again, no taste whatsoever. You can do better than that! And get rid of those ridiculous kiddy utensils.

Tried out the lunch buffet today and was astonished by the freshness and taste of all dishes. My favourites were the veggie soup, jerusalem artichoke, tuna-salad and the delicious crispy bread ! This place hasn’t got anything to do with the old “Qulma”. And most of the reviews are for the old place. The new owners haven’t taken anything good from the old place. The food is below mediocre, doesn’t taste anything and there are dozens of better lunch places in town. The old place at least made something to set it self a part from all the rest.

Don't let the "soup lunch" fool you. Soups are delicious and plenty. Just the soup along with the home baked bread is enough to fill you up. You can even top up the meal with baked potatoes which were great even for a person that doesn't normally choose potatoes on the side. Condiments for soup and bread tickle your taste buds in a good way. The house special, "Nordic explosion" hot sauce alone is worth the visit. The only downside that I can think of is the salad. Large chunks of tomato and cucumber remind me of low quality kebab restaurant. Could recommend to everyone. Give it a go and see how you like the best soups in town!

Nice small food café with home style cooking. Ate the pho as it is always different in every place. Had a very fresh and nice taste. Happy that Kruununhaka has this place as there aren’t too many options for eating out.

This place is a hidden gem - great tasting and authentic Vietnamese food, with super friendly staff! I ordered the No. 4, stir-fried beef with rice noodles, which was a very well seasoned and generous portion. The staff even offered free coffee, tea, and bread with my meal. Highly recommend for a quick bite in Helsinki!

Been to many Vietnamese restaurants in Helsinki. This restaurant has the best pho soup in town and service is superb. Really recommend this place to anyone who likes Vietnamese food.

This was really nice bar / restaurant at the corner of apartment building complex. Relaxed and feel good vibe paired with friendly service. Establishment is located at the corner of massive apartment building complex which is habitat by musicians and other performing artists. It's once again a really interesting combination of service rooted towards its users. Restaurant kitchen is open till 9:30 pm and they make pizza-like stuff and meatballs during evening. Daytime lunch is a bit more traditional Finnish food portions and other familiar sounding solid beverages. The bar here is rather interesting. It doesn't seem to have a solid closing hour during weekdays which is rather interesting in country like Finland. Their liquid beverage prices are somewhat average compared to neighborhood. Regular Finnish lager beer was 5 Euros which aren't too expensive. Overall feeling was really positive. It's really cozy and feel good place that doesn't look like a bar at outside but inside reveals an interesting mixture of bar and trendy restaurant/cafeteria. I strongly recommend to visit here if you're wandering around this area. It's a great place to meet talented artists of various segments both younger and older age groups.

Ordered a gin tonic. Good place to empty yourself and get some me time.

My social media is populated with ads of this joint, had to go and test it out. I had meat balls and mashed potatoes, as this seemed to be the signature dish. Quite disappointing experience. Meat balls were very hard on structure, also tasteless, like home cooking went bad. Mash was somewhat ok, also the sauce (nothing remarkable, though).

Indifferent service, indifferent food. The promise of a 20 Euro wine bottle at the door was not honored (red only, said proprietor) and the gluten-free salad (according to menu) had definitely gluten-containing bulgur in it. The bulgur was removed but the salad was very uninspired. The meatball dish (jallupullat) had a bit of the Brandy flavour in the sauce but was otherwise strictly Ikea quality. Definitely overpriced for the quality.

Bar it self is nicely decorated and cosy. Pizzetta is little bit too small compared to the price of it. Mustard sauce on the pizzetta made it unusual but good if you like a little twist in your pizza. Jallu meetballs had too strong of a game taste in my opinion

Quite good food, but poor service. Unfortunately, got unpleasant comment from a staff member who ruined good impression about the place. It is very important to be friendly with your customers.

We walked into this restaurant hoping we'd have a good warm soup/stew on a cold day. All I can say is that it was the best decision we made. The food was extraordinarily tasty. The menu is quite short but there's enough variety as all main dishes can be ordered with a different sources of protein (beef, shrimp, chicken, tofu, pork). Some dishes also come in 3 different spice levels. We had the 2/3 spiciness level and it was more than enough. The restaurant is rather small but the service is really quick. Our waiters were really friendly. Water in a jug was on the house.

Review based on one visit. Absolutely amazing place! The food at Noodle Master is delicious, fresh, and served super fast. The portions are generous, so you definitely leave full and satisfied. Prices are more than reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion size. The staff is genuinely kind and caring. You really feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. One of the best casual dining spots in Helsinki. Highly recommended!

Amazing handpulled noodle place in Helsinki! Delicious flavor, friendly service, big portion price/quantity/quality ratio is great! The fried dry noodle was the best! The dumplings were delicious too. If you can handle spicy food well, I’d suggest getting the level 3 spiciness. It’s not too spicy that you’d sweat even though it’s the most spicy level. Would come again when we visit Helsinki next time.

Great atmosphere, service and noodles 🍜 My dish was the braised beef noodle soup. The broth was flavourful, the noodles were soft yet not overcooked. I chose the rice noodles as a gluten free option. And the beef was soft as well as the proper beef type for the dish. My friends had the DanDan dish with pork with the regular egg noodles. Which was also very tasty and rich. We orderd various side dishes and my faves were the cucumber with chilli oil, and the black fungus. The ambience of the Restaurant is inviting, colorful. With mural paintings in the walls and interesting decor details. It has become now one of my favourite places to go to for a delicious noodle soup meal.

Kind staff that served up authentic and delicious beef tripe and beef noodles!! Loved the extra touch of free salad, fruit, tea and coffee. Can't wait to come back 🥹

My colleagues and I decided to stop by Noodle Master the first day we arrived to Helsinki and I have to say the noodle was soooo good that it totally blown us away!! I got the pork dan dan noodle and it’s super delicious and authentic. I went back again and got another pork dan dan noodle fix before departing Helsinki the next day. I wish I will have a chance to eat at Noodle Master again!

I enjoy a great Latte, I am a HUGE espresso lover. The presentation of pastries were very enticing. So we decided to try both sweet and savory, paired with lattes. The prices were moderate, but truthfully just a bit on the pricey side if I were to be totally honest. To balance the price you're paying; the quality of the food was excellent. The bakery is on the smaller side, and was very crowded when we arrived. We found a space near the window and awaited or food. The presentation and taste was divine, and the lattes were PERFECT. The only down side is that it can get very crowded and it is not a spacious vibe, like the beauty of Heritage Cafe, but it is it's own jewel of a quaint spot for a quick latte and top tier pastry.

Incredible place for breakfast or coffee. Super nice pastries, breakfast options and incredible bread. Matcha is great too :) Can definitely recommend and don’t forget to try the lemon poppy seed bun

Cute little cafe! A must-visit if you’re in Helsinki. Coffee was decent, beautiful minimalist interior, and the pastries are serve on a pottery plate. The hazelnut fig cake is delicious 😋 friendly barista too!

Cozy little place with breakfast options, baked goods and other desserts. Loved the interior. There are several seats inside and plenty more outside, with heaters to keep you warm. My only feedback is that I wished the pastry of the sausage roll was warmer and crispier. The roll was kind of cold and the pastry was soggy. Perhaps it's just a personal preference. I still enjoyed it despite that and would come back here to try other things in the future.

Lovely cafe and bakery in the Kallio neighborhood. Beautiful pastries and delicious coffee. We were lucky to visit on a sunny Sunday morning and were able to sit outside. It is a five minute walk from our accommodation at CityBox Helsinki. Highly recommend. Enjoy!

The food is mouthwatering 😋 but quite pricey. The location has amazing street view with the Kallio church. We enjoyed our brunch and this place is a must visit when you go to Helsinki. The Customer service is great. It’s queueing so you need to carry a little bit of patience.

You get the Roman square pizza. There are some unlimited pizza options. They have both inside and outside sitting options. You need to place the order inside and get the pizza basically self serving. Pizza were good to go.

We just randomly stumbled upon this today and had a good experience for a quick bite. - Food: We took Mortadella & Pistachio and the Prosciutto & Lemon Sandwiches which were flavourful and balanced. - Service: Very friendly and our dog was allowed in the pizzeria. - Price: Both sandwiches were fairly priced for Helsinki (around 14€) and for a smaller hunger (and price) they had pizza squares as well. We will definitely return and can recommend this place.

The guys were really friendly and helpful. The food was incredibly tasty. The location is perfect as well so if you’re really interested in having a little break to have some delicious pizza just come by 😝😀

If taking lunch, the choice of pizzas is quite limited, especially very few meat options. Still, they were really tasty, had good quality ingredients, interesting combinations and very good desert, not just something usual. Staff was friendly and fast. The place itself was quite small and unnecessarily loud music, so minus point for atmosphere.

I am writing this review with plenty of delicious flavours on my tongue. Since one slice looked a bit small, I ordered two slices: a meatball izza and a prosciutto izza. Turns out, even one slice fills your belly quite well, but I'm still happy I took two. The meatball izza was pleasantly spicy. The prosciutto one tasted as delicious as only a thin ham can. My favourite part was still the crust! Crunchy on the outside, soft in the inside, and very tasty. It made the izzas taste refreshingly different to traditional pizzas. The staff is friendly and nice, and the view to the street offers something interesting to watch while eating. The ginger beer was a perfect companion for the food.

Cons - Below average pizza. Limited flavour selection (6 only). We tried 4 flavours, except for the mushroom one, all were so so. The toppings are almost non-existent. We decided not to order more 😭 Pros - Service is fast, ambiance is warm with good customer service and almost full house.

Delicious pizza with a cool NYC concept where you can order by slices, and each slice is huge! I often only need two slices, which makes it an affordable meal of only 10-12€. I can definitely recommend their Blondie which is a basic cheese with chilly and garlic pizza, their Pepperonis with hot honey is simply heaven, and the Special which changes every week or so.

Tasty pizza at a fair price. While it may not be the best I’ve ever had, it definitely hits the spot—especially considering the value. The place is quite small, and when we arrived in the mid-afternoon, it was already packed, which speaks volumes about its popularity with the locals. They serve pizza by the slice, each one generously sized and priced around 5€–6€ depending on the type you order. Some varieties cost a bit more, but overall, I’d say it’s worth the money. There’s also some outdoor seating available.

It gets easily a little crowded, but avoid the rush hours with a little planning, and you'll be very well rewarded with what is easily one of the best pizzas in Finland. Don't forget to try the stracciatella cheese on top!

probably the best pizza in helsinki. we got blondie and pepporini and both of them was very good. The slices are really big so it is alright for their price. One slice was 5.5€. However the drinks and the wines are overexpensive I would say. Regardless a really nice place to eat in Kallio.

Amazing new york style pizza, very cozy place, friendly staff. We have tried the pepperoni, mushroom, blondie, the special and rossa, all amazing! although the prices have incresead around 0.5-1 euro per slice since the last menu upload online ( 6 months ago ). They don t accept reservation, so be ready to wait for some time as the place is almost full every hour they are open, but 100% worth the wait. !Keep in mind the place only accepts card only payment!

Musubi is somewhat overrated. It’s a nice little café, but there are a few things to keep in mind. Although it’s open from 10 AM to 6 PM, most items are usually sold out by 2 PM, so if you want to try their onigiri, you’ll have to keep an eye on their Instagram and time your visit right. When I walked in, the owner completely ignored me, even though there were only three other customers inside whom he was actively serving. He didn’t even say hello, which left a bad impression. I had read a lot of good things about this place and was really looking forward to trying the onigiri, but by 1 PM, only two out of ten flavors were left. The price - €6 per piece - seems a bit steep. Maybe that’s just the reality of Helsinki, but I think €4 would have been much more reasonable. The onigiri tasted like simple homemade ones- fresh and made with good ingredients, but nothing exceptional. I had planned to sit inside and try the miso soup as well, but there were no available seats, so I had to leave. Overall, I wouldn’t make a special trip here just for the onigiri, unless you really want to support this small business.

The onigiris are amazing and so fresh! The service is amazing with lovely patient staff. I usually take my onigiris to go, but there is plenty of seating at the restaurant even though it is small.

A lovely lunch that keep you full! We ordered 4 different options to try and they were all very good. The place is quite small, so it might be a good idea to avoid peak lunchtime. We came around 13, which was perfect

Super fresh onigiris at really decent prices! We got free green tea which was such a nice (and refreshing) surprise. The owners are absolutely lovely too, making the whole experience even better. Can’t wait to come back for lunch sometime!

Musubi is a small, charming spot with just a few seats inside. The onigiris were absolutely delicious! Fresh, well-seasoned, and just like the ones you'd find in Japan. The staff was also very friendly. A hidden gem worth stopping by for a quick, tasty bite!

Amazing fresh onigiris. Super awesome that they have vegan options. I loved the pickled plum onigiri. Very popular, so there's a wait sometimes. Well worth it though!

The food is sooo good and so fresh. The owner is very friendly. If I would live in Helsinki, I would come regularly to get something. The quality of the salmon was amazing and the sushi something I have never had before.

My friend and I were visiting Finland and came across this gem. It is run by a gentleman Boom - owners name. We were surprised by the coffee, it tasted amazing but even more surprised by his amazing food! I had a salmon poke bowl which had so much flavour! The serving sizes are substantial and pricing is great. He uses fresh ingredients which he stocks daily. This is a must try if you are visiting Finland!

Small place with tasty sandwiches and salads. Everything's around 10€ which is a fair price imo

I had the vegan sandwich. It was great. The sauces were lovely and unique. The seitan was really flavorful. The bread it was on was perfect. It was also massive. I was in a hurry and got it to go. It took them only minutes to assemble, which was what I needed.

I got a chicken gyro which was quick and fresh. It was difficult to eat due to the thickness of the bread and fullness of the sandwich. It was also a bit too greasy. Overall the food was tasty with a nice street food vibe.

I have appreciated the warm welcoming and the location, BUT negative points I have found to be: 1.the place is way too tight (I was basically glued to the fridge and to other people) 2.the entrance door stayed opened all the time with people waiting to enter and it was very cold inside while eating 3.THE FOOD was nothing special in my opinion (see burnt cake and basic salad with potatoes) 4.why isn't implemented a way to book online your seat??? A tiny gem restaurant with sophisticated, carefully prepared lunches. I have had lunch here at least 10 times. It has a daily changing menu with ingredients that are always fresh, and flavorsome, delightful dishes that have a touch of gourmet. Dont skip dessert. Follow their instagram to see what’s on the menu for the day. Beware that they take no reservations for lunch and no cash. The staff is friendly and prompt, a couple that is doing their own thing in the Finnish restaurant scene.

Kauppatori was the only stop on the hop-on hop-off bus tour that truly felt worth hopping off 😄. Later realized it’s just a short 500m walk from Senate Square! The market is lively even on Mondays, with friendly vendors offering tastings of fresh fish and local food 🐟🍓. A happening place full of energy, and you can also catch the ferry to Suomenlinna Fortress 🚤 from here. Definitely worth a visit in Helsinki 🇫🇮!

Beautiful harbour market which is a mixture of street foods, fresh fruit, ice cream and craft stalls. You can catch a ferry to the local zoo from the harbour and also take sightseeing cruises which are very informative. Whilst at the harbour why not visit the indoor market where you can eat local delicacies or just watch the world pass by. Further along the harbour is the Helsinki wheel which costs around 25 euros a beautiful way to see the city from high up.

Beautiful market place. You can buy souvenirs, eat amazing food and try their traditional cuisine. Ice cream is also served. Jewelers with aurora borealis stone can be purchased too.

Open air food stands and souvenir stands. Cash and cards are accepted. Local handcrafts are being sold, like fur, decorations and fresh vegetables and fruit. Fresh local fast food made at the spot, with seating area available.

The place was pretty empty when we went there so the atmosphere was quiet. We had to order at the bar and the food came pretty quickly. My friend got the caesar salad and i got the kill bill wokit. The food itself was pretty good but my food tasted like there was absolutely no salt added to it. I had to add salt every 2 bites. But it could be just my taste 🤷‍♀️. Prices were good. The portions were huge for us (and i usually can eat a lot). Overall a nice experience.

Had a great experience at Cafe Bar 9 in Helsinki! I ordered the pasta pesto with fresh spinach, it was absolutely delicious. The staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. A bit better air conditioning would make it even more comfortable, but overall it’s a lovely spot. Definitely recommended!

This places feels like a canteen, where people on a low budget would go to or students etc. The decor was uninspiring and sad. The one bar man was super busy but quite friendly, he needs more help with taking food/ drink orders and serving drinks. Food service was slow but I’ll try and be positive, that this was because everything was freshly made to order. They do a meal deal, didn’t try it myself. Salmon soup with bread was very good, but the lemon chicken pasta was terrible. Prices were too high when considering the surroundings and food quality

Such good food in Helsinki. Definitely a local gem! We ate there pretty late 9:30pm~ summer sun had messed up our hunger/timing. Salmon soup and salmon pasta were divine. Service was great. Art was cool. Loved it!

Second time visiting and limoncello pasta is maybe one of the best dishes I have eaten. The staff is great and friendly. Only problem with this place (property) is, that when the restaurant is crowded, the noise level goes way too high. Both of the times I visited it felt like my eardrums were going to explode.

A nice, small, and casual restaurant specializing in pasta and noodles. I went there to try the Pollo Limonello pasta — it was delicious with a creamy, tangy flavor, but a bit on the heavier side. The portion was generous, and I couldn’t quite finish it, but I really enjoyed the taste!

It is right by the railway station and belongs to Finland’s most popular burger chain. The food arrived fast, the burgers were tasty, and we had none of the stomach issues we sometimes get at McDonald’s or Burger King. I give it four stars only because the self-service ordering screens were confusing, the English translation was messy, and we had to rely on our phones for Google Translate. Everything else was great, so I still recommend it.

Nice little burger joint ! The burger was nice, and the sweet potato fries just the perfect mix between crunchy and soft. The service was quick, and it was overall very nice. I do however would like to note that the menus aren't fully translated in English, so it's nice to have a Finnish friend with you :)

Very friendly service, empty and quiet atmosphere during Saturday lunch time when I was the first customer to arrive. I tried their Burger of the month Reindeer burger which was pretty meh 😐🫠 Lacking flavour, but very expensive cost me over 19 € as a meal incl. truffle dip 🤤😋

One of the best fast food I've ever eaten anywhere in the world. The soft bread is good and artisanal and is prepared in front of the tables, artisanal fries, freshly cut and fried. The quality of the ingredients of the hamburger are exceptional. Quiet and clean environment, open and visible kitchens, clean and very friendly and professional staff. The price is right. The drinks are self-served. I will gladly return every time I return to Helsinki.

This is a really great hamburger restaurant. The Friends buns and juicy patties, which are handmade in-house, are particularly appealing points. The Friends Burger is my favorite. It has an only one that sets it apart from other hamburgers. I love everything including the bun, patty, and original sauce. I go back again and again. When it comes to hamburger shop in Finland, I strongly recommend to eat the Friends Burger !

The burger was delicious, but the ordering vending machine wasn't fully in English, making it slightly challenging to use. The service was friendly, and you need to keep your receipt for the toilet access codes. The atmosphere was decent, though the burger smoke made it a bit too smelly.

visited at 09:50 on tuesday morning. i ordered the breakfast combo (“COMBO OF THE WEEK”). i’m new to helsinki (traveling), so i’m gonna write detailed process here for others like me. you order at the front, the smoothie bowl and a shot of ginger juice(?) are served on the black and white marimekko-esque plate right away. the combo comes with an avocado toast, and i added a poached egg. it’s served to you to your seat. the coffee, cutlery, and napkins are self service at the station on the left side. the smoothie bowl was good. it was mostly banana from what i could tell, but the homepage it listed last. (the smoothie is “HILBERT THE HIPPIE” and it’s “Sea buckthorn, mango, banana”) the avocado toast was crunchy on the outer edge and soft/mushy on the center. i guess probably avocado was sitting on the toast for a while. i assume it’s to make the making process fast and efficient in the kitchen, but it might have had better texture if it was prepared when it’s ordered. that’s the reason i knocked one star off. the egg was poached just right to my taste. the atmosphere was pleasant, the seats were only sparsely occupied because the lunch hour(11-14) had not started yet. i could take a peek at a lovely and majestic dalmatian, because people can bring their pets inside.

Came for a brunch date with my grandma and we were pleased with the experience! Food was really good, and I have to highlight the way the dishes and plates were all beautifully color coded. The staff were friendly and the Fredrikintori terrace was as lovely as ever. The tables were quite dirty when we came, but they did tidy them up soon enough. The only little minus I have comes from the coffee, since I had to explain what a cortado was, and they did not have a professional espresso machine. However, would definitely visit again!

Great find in Helsinki if you're a vegetarian or just want to eat more vegetables and healthy meals (they also offer chicken for example). Very good prices as well (15 euro for a meal).

In August 2025, I visited 5 countries alongside my vegan friend, and we found some incredible spots! Even though I’m not vegan, I keep an open mind. We stumbled upon this place, which happened to be vegan. I had the Thai dish, which was tasty!

I was a bit worried about finding good vegetarian food in Finland, but so far Helsinki does not disappoint. The Buddha bowl with a side of halloumi was by far one of the best bowls I’ve had, period!

The coffees are made in a Bean-to-cup machine and charged at €4.50/coffee. The porridge was inedible and tasted like gruel despite being dressed up with fun bits. That being said, the staff are very friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere.

Due to hot summer weather this week, I am not much craving for kebab but the taste of kebab from this place never choose a weather. It is always consistently flavourful. I got a juicy and tasty lamb meat with crispy french fries. It always definitely a combination with yoghurt and sumac salad on the side. Of course the meal compliments well with the icy cold long drink. The staff are so accommodating and offer us the coolest seat in the restaurant ( as it was really hot weather outside. Definitely I will keep going to this place when I want a good quality kebab in the city.

We had a kebab lunch platter ( we shared) and there was definitely enough for 2. Very flavourful and the fries were nice and crispy. Service was excellent. Would highly recommend

Me and my friend both got the kebab wrap. The place was quiet and the food came quickly. The interior and the exterior weren’t very impressive. I would’ve liked more chicken and less salad in my wrap and also the ingredients weren’t mixed so you had to bite the different sides of the wrap to get salad and meat. Overall the wraps were good.

The food was delicious, places kept tidy, and service was nice and welcoming. Will definitely come and visit again. Bonus points for the nice display on the plate!

Lunch buffet at 9.90€. Add soft ice with candies, sauces etc. is plus 2.70€ per person. All you can eat. Some pizzas were a bit cooled and dried down. Reason: so few people. But as more people came to eat, the situations got better. Good variety of pizzas with various toppings. Chicken wings, meatballs, french fries, wieners, nachos, salsa, jalapenos (spicy; great!), greens like rucola, tomato, cucumber, red onion mix, onion rings, cale, salad.. cottage cheese, fetacheese, pumpkin seeds, salted peanuts.. Pepperoni, Tuna, Hawaii, Cheeseburger, Garlic Tuna etc -pizzas. Bonaqua water Strawberry/kiwi with Zinc, Fanta lemon, Fanta Orange zero sugar, Coke normal or zero sugar, Sprite. Coffee light or dark roast with or without milk, special coffees. Plenty of things to choose from. The staff was very friendly. Free toilets (naturally), the door is locked, just ask for the code (I did not take the receipt, so I don't know if it had the code printed on it). We spend 1.5 hours of indulging, relaxed with no hurry. Between 10.55-12.25. A lot of free tables to choose from. Diners were mostly construction workers from nearby sites or elderly people. Entrance is from the street one floor down. Burger King is entered from the same doors.

So we visited on a Tuesday evening in July, it was very quiet when we arrived, and started that way, drinks are included with the buffet, everything is self service. Was fairly clean, but everything was being done by one chap from cleaning, to cooking, to serving so as you'd expect everything wasn't perfect... Our biggest issue was despite a huge menu of veggie pizzas there was one cheese pizza, that wasn't even margarita as it was lacking any tomato base... Overall ok value for what you get, just not amazing...

Food is good . I feel like there should be regular coffee cups for the coffee. We are civilized people ,don't want to drink with plastic paper cups indoors.

No service in Finnish. Person didnt clearly know what he was selling. Fast food is fast food, but I'm a Finnish person, I do expect to be able to get my simple order done in Finnish.

The customer service was excellent, even though I wasn’t sure what I wanted to order. The burger was tasty, though I felt it was a bit small for the price. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not very clean—there was food under my table, and no napkins were available until several customers asked for them. Service was very fast. Overall, the experience was ok.

It's ok, you can eat here and will be fine. Some items are good some are better to avoid. I've ordered one king fusion with cookie dough and got one with Oreo instead. What was interesting about that, is that employee noticed the error and apologized, giving me extra King fusion for free, not bad ! Though, I should say, the one with Oreo is actually much better, so avoid cookie dough, I won't be getting it next time. Now the place is clean, but not everywhere, restroom is quite disappointing as there were no soap only sanitizer. Even though you need to know the code to get in, it seems to me that cleaning hasn't been a big priority overall.

Typical Burger King joint. Service is fast. Burger is average. If you're not particular and just wanted to get a quick bite, this is a good option. The restaurant can get busy during meal hours, so be prepared to deal with dirty tables and floors.

Liked this place. Food was great and delicious but one time in my burger was a huge chunk of salad and the chicken patty was all red. I reported them and got discounts so great. Hygiene is good but not great. Self service machines are great and they work well. You don't have to wait on lines and you get a call when your order is ready.

My "strawberry" milkshake had NO flavor and NO color. The customer rep said that is normal. Downstairs toilet is closed for maintenance. Upstairs toilet had a broken soap dispenser. Better set your expectations to zero when you walk into this place.

Great place to eat pizza after visiting late night bars in Helsinki during weekends. This is the place to go for pizza at 3 or 4am on weekends. During regular hours there are better pizza restaurants in Helsinki!

I've tried food that is quite authentically Middle Eastern. You feel as though you are dining in a retro setting thanks to the atmosphere. If you're unfamiliar with the taste of Middle Eastern cuisine, the staff will be happy to help you choose from their menu.

Stumbled across this place on my first stroll - located inside the food market! Highly recommend, their food is incredibly good, served fresh and fast. I had the noodles with salmon (very good portion, lots of fish) and the chicken dumplings. Definitely worth a visit!

We went to this restaurant because it was highly recommended. We ordered a dish with salmon and noodles. The dish basically consisted of a lot of noodles, mayonnaise and a small piece of salmon. It wasn't bad, but paying 15 euros for 90% noodles was a mistake. For this reason, I don't recommend it and I won't go back to this restaurant. Since we went late in the day, I even thought there were no more ingredients.

We were passing by and decided to jump in - best decision we could make. We took 2 lunch boxes, chicken and falafel and both were great, meat was juicy and well seasoned, falafel was tasteful and crispy. Sauce was also great, very very tasty and matched the wrap. Hummus and tabbolueh as side dishes great, although I mixed them up, it was too much parsley for me to eat just like that ;) hummus would be great with some naan bread od something to dip in as a starter! It is close to the original middle eastern flavor which means it could be a bit uncomfortable for others. Lunch buffet is 10.5€ and dishes are changed every day. I usually like hummus but this one was a little sour for me.

It’s Lebanese food and it’s probably good for Helsinki and I enjoyed it but it wasn’t the best Lebanese food I’ve had. Definitely a good place to visit tho if you want to try Lebanese food.

Already so famous in Helsinki, having different branches all over the town. Most famous for their Falafels and other tasty Middle Eastern style food at reasonable prices. The staff are always delightful and international.

For a lunch place this is perfect. The staff is polite and the food is made pretty quickly. Great selection of vegetarian food and with meat. Location is not ideal but still good enough for this kind of place. Also, the restaurant has a wide selection of different and not that common Mexican beverages.

Fafa's is the bomb! And the Fafa's in Kallio is the best because the service is so great. I can't wait to get back to Helsinki in a couple of weeks and get my Halloumi fix!

Hummus and chicken pitas tasted weird. The hummus is not great. Sweet potato fires were soggy and sauce was not good. The price did not justify the quality.

Very popular place, grrreat falafels! Try the excellent halloumi falafel. They did skip our order though, but got it fairly quickly once we reminded them, and some sweet potato chips on the house.

Barbarossa is pretty much the price worthiest restaurant in Helsinki. 7€ for a Pizza is an excellent price. The size of the pizzas is excellent and the ingredients are fine as well. The workers are friendly as well. Last but not least I would appreciate if they could change their seats as they are sadly broken. Also the floor is sometimes a bit dirty, but all of that I am impressed!

We came on a Thursday at around 5pm and the whole place was filled. We ordered the pizza with pineapple and the pilakebab to go. The pizza was super thin crust. It came with lots of ham and a good amount of pizza. The crust was really crispy. The pilakebab came with a generous portion of kebab meat. There was also lots of vegetables on the bottom. It was filled to the brim and came with lots of sauce. Both were 6.99. Super economical considering the times we live in. Overall I would definitely come back again and get the pilakebab or their other kebab items. I feel that they are more worth than the pizza.

Feel good kind of pizza. The pizza was nicely baked, and the crust was not too thin, not too thick, and the toppings were fresh. Laid back atmosphere, nothing fancy but clean. The guy serving on Saturday lunch had a cheerful attitude. The free soup and coffee weren't good.

I love the place. Very close to the center near hakaniemi metro. The best part about the place is that they are open till 22 even on Sundays which is rare in Helsinki. I have been there quite sometime. They have excellent shawarma's. If you want something even more special they have the special platter with chicken and beef comes with rice however you can ask for pita instead.

On Fridays and weekends you have to place order way before closing time, otherwise you won't get your pizza, Means there's toooo long line of orders. We just love this pizza 🍕 place. It has been a Kotipizza before, so it really feels that you eat some thing from this pizza chain, but with a personal twist. The milieu is really cozy but like all really good restaurants this pizzeria is almost always crowded and busy. But for the quality of thoses pizzas you can wait a few extra minutes.

I absolutely loved this place and was impressed from start to finish. We started with two side dishes: the tofu skin with chili oil and the crispy cucumbers. Both were delicious in their own way. Tried the spicy hand-pulled thick noodle soup from Jum Bowl and it seriously hit the spot. The broth was soupy, beefy, and packed the perfect level of heat I was craving. The hand-pulled noodles were thick, chewy, and super satisfying. You can get them dry or in soup, but if you’re into bold flavors, definitely go for the soup version—it’s a comforting, spicy bowl of goodness worth slurping to the last drop.

It was very delicious Asian noodle restaurant. It's just a few minutes' walk from Kamppi. I arrived right when they opened, but they quickly filled up. There are five types of noodles to choose from. The dry noodles were probably the best noodle dish I had in Helsinki. I really liked the taste. I strongly recommend to go there if you want to eat noodles. The staff were very friendly. I'd definitely go back.

We visited Big Bowl Noodle a few days ago, lured in by the glowing Google reviews and the promise of hand-pulled authenticity. The chef even recommended the Lanzhou Ramen with Beef (item 21), and we also tried the Spring Onion Oil Noodles with Prawns (item 24). With those choices, we thought we couldn’t go wrong. Oh, how naïve we were. The good news first: the portions are generous. In fact, they’re so generous that we wondered if the restaurant’s real business model is to feed you once and make sure you don’t need to eat again until next week. The bad news: when you finally take a bite, you realize that quantity does not equal quality. Both dishes were bland, flat, and, frankly, disappointing—especially when compared with the same classics I’ve had in Mainland China. Yes, the food is “authentic,” but authenticity alone isn’t enough. A dish can come straight from its cultural birthplace and still taste uninspired. Sadly, that was our experience here. For the price we paid, we were hoping for fireworks, but all we got was a wet sparkler. We walked in curious and optimistic; we walked out full, but not in the way we’d hoped. Safe to say, this was a one-time adventure for us.

An already staple, always good kebab & pizza restauraunt in Porvoo. They are becomming legendary, very fast service, attention to detail and decor, and excellent dependable food quality. This is the top of the list kebab restauraunt in Porvoo, and high on the list for all of Finland. Highly recommended after being a customer over many years and its only gotten better and upped it's game over time. (one point of feedback, the stalls in the toilet are very small and hit the knees of taller people)

Amazing service with cocktails & tasty Saturday brunch

Brisket burger had a lot of fat in it and mostly unchewable. Salmon burger was ok but not just ok. Caesar salad was absolutely terrible - they used old tired salad (not crunchy at all) and absolutely drowned in Caesar sauce. Really wanted to like this place as a food option through Wolt.

Went there due to high ratings which turned out to be misleading. Kebab meat and sauces were the same bulk stuff as everywhere. So if that's what you're looking for, then why not here. On the cheaper side as well, but portion size was fairly small especially on the meat.
