My second visit and cant help myself! Best pizza and hospitality in Udine in the restaurant! They have a variety of pizzas u cant even imagine. Every pizza is made just the way you must appriciate. This time we try out arrancinas which was even better! As a welcome drink we had prosecco and as a degustif we had free “some kind of limoncello”. Eventhough service was amazing and the quality of the food was just perfect! Definetely worth visiting! Recommned 100%

A really nice location and the atmosphere of the city square, ocassionaly with a busker playing a guitar. The service is poor, it takes ages for them to collect the order, but drinks and pizzas are delivered quickly, depending on the amount of customers. Then the service completely forgets about you, there’s nobody to collect the dirty dishes, nobody asks if you want more drinks or desert. Last time there we waited for a check with dirty dishes on the table for about 45 minutes, until my husband got annoyed and went inside to pay at the counter. It’s a real shame, pizza’s very good, location’s nice, but the service spoils the experience.

Good Italian pizza. Unfortunately we didn't get the pizza at the same time. I had to wait 10 minutes more. Inside it's a bit cramped but cozy. Price is great for the location.

Our most favourite place in Udine. Every time we visit town ( first visit september 2017 ..) , we just enjoy glass of wine or aperol , together with fantastic mortadella or cicchetti. One of my favorite places in town. Friendly staff, local hangout, and delicious food and drinks. This place is one of the reasons I get back to Udine. The food is absolutely out of this world; try everything, and then you still want to eat more! Tip for English speakers: it can be helpful if you know a few basic Italian phrases. The staff is super friendly and patient, but not everyone here speaks English.

Second stop in Udine as Jorvic needed some food. Small inside bar with main seating outside on the cobbled street. (Hidden room at back..where the hole in the floor toilet resides.) Good local vibe. The meat and cheese platters are popular so we had to order one. Delicious. Lovely crusty bread to go with it. 22 € for the platter. 4.50€ big beer and 3.50 for a wine.

It’s a traditional osteria winery place. Good snacks, good wine, friendly staff. The atmosphere is casual & easy going. There is an open kitchen area at the back were you can see them making the snacks, the mortadella is huge!😄😃

The best focaccia in the town! So many flavors and really nice service! Recommend it with all of my heart!

What a great evening! The focaccia was were so delicious and there was a huge variety of toppings - even some vegan options. They have their own beer which we could try, their own cookies, delicious dessert and various lemonades. The staff is very polite and one of them even speaks Italian, German and English!

Really good focaccia and focaccia sandwiches for a very reasonable price (3-6€ range) The interior is quite hip. Not a bike lover but the decor of reindeers made of old bikes seats is absolutely fantastic. If you want to sit outside you need to book as it gets quite busy!! Especially lunch time!

I was disappointed with my visit. The place is not environmentally friendly—everything was served in plastic cutlery and plates, which felt really wasteful. I ordered a chicken sandwich, and it was brought out in about 10 seconds, which made it obvious the meat had been sitting for hours. It taste far from fresh. Not a great experience overall.

Terrible. I would never reccomend this. First of all the outide doesnt even have any sort of signs or anything at all to tell that this is a restaurant. The menu is very small with minimal options at all, drinks? Only 3 non-alchohol options. Most of the dishes just say something like "chicken dish, beef cheeseburger" with no explanation other than just a small ingrediant list that says the everything in fancy wording and not understandable. Everything is in plastic or cardboard. Even the cups and "silver"ware. The service also could be better, you have to go up to the bar to order, then take a tray with you to your table ( which is totally unnecessary ) and you have to take the tray back and throw rhe food out, the "waiter" didnt even remember the who ordered what, even though it was empty. The atmosphere and seating was also underwhelming with only two seats on each table, where i sat was some sort of decoration that didnt even let me pull my seat back and sit comfortably. I didnt even notice that there was a toilet , there were no signs at all, it took me ages to figure out how the water turns on to wash my hands, and the how the toilet flushes. I noticed that the kitchen was super small and one of the chefs was yawning and doing nothing. Their whole memo is healthy fast food, and i get that but they want to be unique SO BAD i litterally cant even begin to explain , but you know what IS unique? Good food. I ordered the beef cheeseburger, the buns? Rock solid dry bread, tons and tons of grilled vegetables, so much so that i didnt even taste the meat, and it just tasted awful, i didnt bother finishing my meal. the decoration is super weird and kinda throws the whole restaurant atmosphere out the window. moral of the story is. Dont. Go . Here.

Absolutely wonderful place! The food was amazing (especially the tiramisu gelato), but what really makes it special is the staff. They were incredibly kind and even helped arrange a ride so I could get back to my hostel on time. Truly a memorable experience — highly recommend!

Excellent experience. We stayed in Gorizia for one night and felt this restaurant provided a good experience. The ability to sit outside made it more comfortable in the summer heat. We were treated nicely and would come back in the future.

Omg, what a treat. We were looking for a late night Monday meal in Gorizia and found this place, open till midnight. Great pizza oven, staff was over the top nice and funny. Pizza chef, waiter and manager all attended to us. Great variety of pizzas, such a great little surprise.

Sadly, On this day nothing seemed to follow the previous reports. The service was slow, it was not busy, Making an order was confused, we tried in both Italian and English, The pizza’s when they arrived were made on stale bases both cols and turgid. No way was either pizza made with a fresh base and the topping was also reheated, from a pizza officianado, these were pre-prepped and just cursorily re-heated. Not a very pleasant experience and we will definitely not revisit!!!!

Passing through Sappada on the way from Krk in Croatia to Innsbruck in Austria, we took the scenic route through the Dolomites 🇮🇹 Stopped here at Renato for lunch 🍕 The pizzas were great 👍 The staff was smiling and fast 💪 Highly recommended 👏

Probably my favourite place to eat here. Very pleasant, nice stuff, good house wine and very wide selection of pizza (no other main dishes). It gets quite full in the evening around 8pm and does not take reservations. I have been here last year, a month ago and yesterday and the place keeps the same quality at all times.

My friends and me took out 8 pizzas, to eat at our place. The toppings were not cooked that well and the quality of the pizzas was poor. The only pizza that tasted good was the gluten free pizza, so if you are celiac i would raccomand, but the dough was ready-made.

Well, we had some pizzas here and i can say they were actually tasty…not bad. The bread as “coperto” was really hard, like a rock, perfect as a hammer. I don’t want to wonder how many weeks had the one we had at the table. After the dinner we asked to split the bill in 3 (payment by card). The owner (i think) told us it was impossible to do it because we “made a unique order”, not three different orders. I don’t really know what he meant but this is the first time i heard something like that. Also because in Italy you cannot refuse a split payment. Is illegal

I would give this place the whole universe with it's stars. Best food in Lignano with the best service. This place is real, I mean it's authentic, it's Italian, it's family owned and you can feel like you've arrived really to Italy. I'm writing this post after trying several other places which were also great but missed that one special ingredient. Though this place has everything you need for a great meal. 100% recommend it to everyone! Grazie mille for this experience.

We comes back here every year, and this is our favourite restaurant in Lignano. We were never disappointed, they always provide the best quality. Really fast service, friendly service, traditional italian family business, the prices are totally normal, the foods the bests! I ate bufala pizza and pasta with Sorrentina souce, totally can recommend them! Love it!

Large restaurant in porch or summer bar style, service was generally good, but had to wait for the food more than an hour and there w were lots of moscitos flying around. In restaurant were placed some repellent for them but too few. Food and house wine was excellent and the prices were really good! Next time, we won't sit by the window & bring some moscito repellent & come earlier. ++first time here in Lignano. After we have paid, we got not one shot of Limoncello but the entire bottle!

Very good pizza. Table reservation is highly suggested in lunchtime. Difficult to find parking place, but there is a parkinglot in 6 mins of walk. The restaurant can be pretty busy in lunchtime, you night have to wait some time for your food.

But I'm giving it a 1 star because of the blonde, short haired waitress which was rude and called me a liar when I told her that I was already waiting a quarter hour at the counter to pay the bill. No sense of costumer service and no education as well. Maybe it was her first day working in the service sector but I doubt it... to avoid her at all cost

Very good restaurant to go with family, especially with kids, when the playground's open. Because of COVID, the playground's currently closed but, the place is still very good and the food selection is always decent. Their specialty, the rotisserie chicken, it's delicious.

Payed about €13 for a whole chicken with some roasted veggies. The chicken was dry, and the veggies were cold. I could have gone to my local grocery store and get a rotisserie chicken for €3 euro and it would have definitely tasted better. Not really impressed.

It was okay, food was okay, we brought our 2.5 year old and they have a small play area that he enjoyed. They have a bar and area for live music.

Absolutely amazing pizza — one of the best I’ve ever had! The wood-fired crust was perfect, and you can really tell they use top-quality ingredients. I had the Buffalina, with prosciutto sliced super thin and fresh arugula served on the side to keep it crisp. Bonus points for offering GLUTEN-FREE options too!

We ordered salad, pizza and drinks. The food was delicious. The salad was fresh and the pizzas were baked in a real pizza oven. The service was polite and patient. On top of all this, the prices were great! I would recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a relaxed yet quality place to eat.

Today we were in Triestes Pizza heaven. Mouth watering ...heavenly tastes of burrata, mozzarella, pomodori and other italian famous ingredients that makes pizza sooo good! Not so good place, we booked for 14 people and they gave us table for 12 which made us have to sit tight because no more space to extend the table. The food is not brilliant and it was a loud place. I ordered spicy pizza with extra pepper, I was surprised when it came because that wasn't I order. They put spek as an extra on my pizza meanwhile I didn't ask or order pizza with spek. I didn't ask for change because it will take same long time to prepare another new and I was so hungry

Well maintained restaurant and l located close to the station and easily accessible. The staff are friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating arrangements are available but limited. The uniqueness is sort of Arab ambience. Coming to food, they have a variety of kebabs. I saw "agnello kebab" for the first time here. And the food was ok. Can find better and tasty kebab in the vicinity as well. I personally felt the taste can be improved.

Overpriced food, 2€ service fee which is written with very small font on the edges of the menu which even waitress struggled to find. The price quality ratio is very bad. If we needed something we went to ask ourselves, none of the staff come to you. They charge 2€ service fee and didn't give at Least a wet tissue. There is another restaurant nearby which better we regret that we didn't go there

We always go during early hours and it's never too busy. They have one of the best tiramisu I have ever tasted. They also have a great drink selection.

We wanted a dessert for takeaway, the waitress told us it was ok but went to ask the person in charge, who apparently only speaks Italian. When this person heard us, replied rudely "oh americans" and left. Then the waitress explained us that the dessert was not for take away. Is absurd, xenophobic and very ignorant for someone to assume that English is only spoken in US (it's spoken as an official language in 67 countries). We are not americans, but your origin is no reason to discriminate or be rude towards someone. I sincerely hope the ignorant person working in this place can get educated and be less xenophobic. Again, is so absurd to think that English is only spoken in US. We have family and friends in Italy and of course not every Italian is like this, but is good to mention this absurd moment for awareness. Btw, pizza was average; not bad, not great, and not worth the price.

Great prices and broad selection of pizzas. They also offer different types of crust and beer. We loved it so much we took the family to a pizza making class the following day.

Food and service is marvellous, but toilet is a horror story - which can honestly be a dealbreaker. There is large parking loot in the backyard and a lovely terrace. It has a vintage style decor and it is a bit packed, but nothing dramatic.

Amazing pizza very local restaurant

Looking at the reviews, I chose this place, which is further away from the tourist area, hoping for real Italian pizza. What a disappointment, starting with a 20 minute wait for a pizza when there were only two people in the pizzeria, the waiter was kind. The dough was like bread, I asked for diavolo and the sausage was not spicy but some cheap ordinary one, he just gave me spicy olive oil. Tiramisu improved the impression a little, only the cream was in it. He automatically charged me 1.5 euros for the service. Cheap food and in the end he will take from you in another way.

I wanted to try a pizzeria outside the center of Trieste and this turned out to be a great choice. The pizzas (Prosciutto and Diavola) were delicious and prepared quickly. The draft beer was good as well, and the prices were reasonable.

Came with a friend, ordered a couple pizzas. Mine came folded in two, with the pizza "toppings" on the inside. To this day I don't know if it was a practical joke or a well-known Italian tradition associated with that particular pizza (the name of which I cannot remember), however it certainly should have been written on the menu. The pizzas were good; nothing exceptional but definitely very enjoyable, decent portions, good ham (to my untrained tongue). Folded pizzas it turns out are messy and hard to eat. Prices were pretty good; I paid 8€ for mine, and my friend paid 7.50€ for his. However, when we received the bill, we were astonished to see a 3€ service fee - 1.5€ per person - added mandatorily. This had not been mentioned anywhere in the menu nor had they informed us of its existence prior to being presented with the bill. Additionally, this enforced 16% "tip" was for service that had been standard or mediocre in every aspect. Do not come here, the prices aren't as low as they seem, and the food is not worth the disrespect.

A few years ago, we visited Da Mario for the first time, and we were blown away by their pizza — so much so that we knew we’d come back one day. And here we are again, for a very good reason! What truly sets Da Mario apart is their square-shaped pizza with stuffed crust — perfectly baked, light, with a crispy base that melts in your mouth. The cheese-filled crust is a story of its own – rich, gooey, and incredibly satisfying. This time, we also tried the pizza topped with potato cubes, which was another great surprise. The flavors work really well together, though personally, I found the potato pieces a bit too large for my taste. Still, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. All in all, Da Mario remains a place well worth visiting – great pizza, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere that will make you want to come back again and again. We definitely will!

Incredible high quality beer, diverse menu of styles, and it's right across from a ski lift! I am so happy I found this brewery and I will definitely be back to visit. I tried a number of their beers, the IPA was fantasic, crisp, aromatic, and super drinkable. Uncomplicated and traditional, which is a welcome change back to tradition, now that Hazy and New England style IPA is en vogue. I also tried their excellent stout, and had to call it a night because I did not want to get intoxicated for the drive home. I came here during late February and the drive up to the brewery was a fun trip through twisty mountain roads and wonderful mountain views.

Wetherspoon’s had the dark ale called Hot Night at the Village as part of its real ale festival. Best ale I’ve had in years - absolutely delicious
