this is a diner and truck stop that is near Inglewood and a wonderful gem filled with character, affordable and delicious food, and a staff that will make you want to come back over and over. the menu has a lot of interesting items, pictured is the Flapper Pie which is kind of like a custard covered with the mountain of meringue/marshmallow. probably the best pancakes in town and something for the Young generation and those who enjoy classic home cooked meals. the pies are obviously amazing and the milkshake is fabulous. daily specials, huge portions, fair prices and cool decor. yes it can be a little bit dingy but it's part of the atmosphere, the food is totally worth your time. the second thing you're going to talk about when you leave this place is what you are going to have when you come back.

Pretty good for what you get. Relaxed atmosphere with good music. Waitresses feel a bit rushed even with a bit of the wait on the food. Quite filling thankfully! Lemon pie was good.

Stopped in at this iconic Calgary diner on Saturday morning... Was immediately greeted by a friendly server that asked me if I would like coffee to start as she directed me towards an open booth. This place is very spacious and quite unique with the decor in mind. The food is what you would imagine from a Truckstop Diner, just good short order items without the 'frills' at a reasonable price... I don't come down to this area of the city too often. However, if I am downtown early in the morning then I am happy to swing over to the Inglewood region and grab a good solid breakfast..... Bottom Line: 8.8 out of 10

This diner is absolutely beautiful on the inside, filled with Americana and an assortment of kitsch trinkets speckled throughout. A model train circles the diners on a track suspended below the ceiling. Despite it not being that busy when we walked in, at around 5:15, the two waitstaff seemed overwhelmed. When our order was being taken, we got ID'd, and when satisfied with our credentials, the waitress hurried off before we could continue ordering. It took an inordinate amount of time to get what we first ordered, two beers. At that point we put in our orders. Our waitress was curt, and seemed to be in a rush, cutting off my partner before he could finish stating his initial order. We didn't exactly feel welcome. Our food was finally served a little after 6. The poutine was quite good. The gravy seemed to be of the chicken and mushroom variety, and was well thickened. The crinkle cut fries were crisp and hot, and although the curds weren't large, they were plentiful, room temperature, and tastefully arranged. 8.5/10 on the poutine. My partner's club sandwich, on the other hand, was dry, and the side of crinkle cut fries were not hot. They were unapologetically lukewarm. 5/10. We finished eating at about 6:15 and were paid up by 6:25. It's possible that our waitress was simply in a bad mood, or having a bad day, but whatever the case, her tension was palpable, and it resulted us feeling like we shouldn't have come here. That, plus the food and drinks taking a very long time despite their simplicity and the waitress's fast pace. Maybe the result of understaffing?

Our next Sunday brunch spot was at the Blackfoot Truckstop Diner. It was ok. Wish the pork had seasoning. Lots of food to finish on the plate. At least we gave this place a try.

Fries are cold and hard, beef of beef dip is a little bit try. Mashed potato is a bit cold. Service is great, the lady is very nice.

If you want a true diner experience, this is the place to go. Atmosphere - Straight out of 1993. There is a cute train track that runs along the roof around the entire place. The music is full of fun classics Food - Very good and filling. Basics that you get at any diner but with a very fair price. Service - Probably one of the best in Calgary. They make you feel like family with all the terms of endearment. They check in on you, without annoying your time and they keep your cup filled. Highly recommend!

Peter’s Drive-In is one of those classic places that never goes out of style. The milkshakes are definitely the main event — rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Always a treat and absolutely worth the stop. The burgers were good — not the best I’ve ever had, but still solid and satisfying. What really stood out to me were the crispy onion rings. Super crunchy, flavorful, and honestly one of the better versions I’ve had. They made the meal feel complete. Even though the place gets insanely busy, the staff were friendly and kept the service moving smoothly. The place was also clean and well-maintained, which you don’t always expect from high-traffic fast food joints. Overall, a great casual spot that delivers on classic diner vibes. Go for the shakes, stay for the onion rings. Definitely coming back.

I heard it's a must-eat dish when traveling to Calgary. It didn't look special, but it had an unusual taste. Especially, the fries and milkshakes were so delicious. I ordered a medium shake and a family-sized fries, but I couldn't finish it because the portions were too much. If you're traveling to Calgary, if you're passing by, you should try it.

Back in the day, you used to be able to get a lot more Onion rings or fries with your order but they are still delicious, I ate them all. The best thing they offer is actually the milkshakes, so many flavors and it's so thick. The burgers are good, i do like the sauce on them. I enjoyed it. They are different than just your regular burger.

Tried the Oreo shake at Peter’s Drive In and it was one of the fabulous Oreo shakes I have ever had! The Oreo shake tastes just like the McDonald’s McFlurry. I would definitely recommend visiting this place for the shakes.

I don't know anything about their history; but what I do know is that they've got some amazing milkshakes. Came here by scooter and ordered an enormous milkshake for ~$7. The extra 80 cent upcharge to large is worth it! I went with a classic Oreo milkshake, but you can combine up to three flavors and make any combination your heart desires. The milkshake had a perfect texture, was delectable and sugary, and perfect on a hot summer day. What else can I really say? Come try this place if you're in the mood for milkshakes!

The quality went downhill since our last visit and it wasn’t so hygienic not to wear gloves when prepping the food. I once worked in a food industry and we wore gloves when we prepare the food. Milkshake here is still the best though.

The hamburgers were delicious.A small order of fries ,3 people shared those! And the orange milkshake was yummy! We used the drive thru, service was upbeat and very efficient! We haven't been to Peter's Drive-In in years and was pleasantly impressed it hasn't really changed! 👏👏

Simple ordering process. Order once you enter and they will write your order on the bag. After ordering you can browse and see what other grocery items or drinks you may want to pick up. Order is made fresh so meat is juicy and and not dried out. Once they are finished with your order you can pay and be on your way. A handful of patio tables outside or you can take your order to nearby park.

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been here. Food is still outstanding and they’ve expanded what they offer since I’ve been here last at this location (granted, it’s apparently been almost two decades). So good. Definitely four thumbs up. 👍

Ok I came here because I was recommended by many people online to come. So I did but honestly I wasn’t really that stoked about it. The pita was cold when I was handed it, the chickens flavour was okay but it wasn’t anything to write home about. Perhaps that is all my own taste and expectations so I would keep that in mind while reading this. However there was no sanitation like I saw the girl make the shawarma but grab my shawarma with her bare hands and that in itself just made it a bit unappetizing. Proper food handling requires clean hands yes but also regular glove changes and never touching food without some ppe. Hairnets are also required too for hair open from the back. Also the washroom didn’t have any toilet paper or a spare roll in it 🥲 the service was okay they were nice but nothing that made it exceptional. The patio area was beautiful but a lot of the tables were dirty with dirt or previous people who ate there.

The taste is really authentic. If you are. A first timer don’t forget to ask for some sample.owners are amazing as well as the staffs. Platter and wrap both are equally amazing.

Our first time coming here and they were very welcoming. We recieved free samples upon entering. They have a great seletion, fair prices, and one of my favorite donairs in calgary.

Just had one of the best doners in town! The flavors were spot on, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. The staff were incredibly friendly and made the experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tasty and satisfying meal!

Ok friends. I am from Halifax and know donairs even though I have been in Toronto for 30 years. I go back to Halifax 2 times a year and always go back to Tonys Donair. Jimmy's Donair was excellent and my only feedback was to wet the pita and grill on a flat top so it warmer pita that matches the temperature of the meat. I added the classic tomato, onion and went retro early 80s and added parsley. The team was excellent and super kind. The Baklava was excellent, moist and buttery sweet. Looking forward to dropping next time I am in Calgary. FYI I tried the garlic sauce on the side with some chicken as a sample and that was the best garlic sauce aka Toom I ever tried. Reply to current owners: Pictures from 8-9 years ago do not look like the banh mi I posted, which is the one you made me recently. I was a regular customer as I worked downtown, and never have I received something so shabby from the original owners. You do not put "more" ingredients, based on my experience and many others'. Also, I never asked the original owners for a special order of pâté. Please don't make assumptions. ---------------- I had been going to Thi Thi's since 2005 - their saté chicken sub was unrivaled and owners were legends. I used to walk blocks in -30C to get one. I was disappointed that they sold the business but apparently trained the new owners on how to keep Thi Thi's top notch. I went for the first time since under new ownership, and unfortunately, I have no desire to return. Chicken, veggies, and sauces were sparse (except for the carrots) so overall, it was a bit bland. Couldn't taste any pâté. This is not the signature, always perfect Thi Thi's bánh mi that I know. I am not convinced of their explanation on other reviews that they put on more veggies and meat than the original owners. All my senses, as an almost 20 year customer, say otherwise. Many other have mentioned the reduction in meat and veggies, and I don't think their senses are deceiving them, either. Respectfully, perhaps consider a refresher from the original owners to resolve these issues.

Careful of the parking lot in front of it, it’s apparently private parking only for the dim sum shop next door. There’s a parking lot down the block and street parking. There’s food came out really fast, even if there’s a line it’ll go by really quick. Cash only and Togo. The bahnmi are really tasty though! The bread isn’t hard and is very soft. Got the sate beef, it seems to be the most popular one.

New ownership has ruined this place. Previous owners used to be content with the profit they made off the sandwiches, it's clear that the staff has been asked to reduce the meat content per sub. Look at this sate beef sandwich, you'd think I was eating a carrot baguette sandwich. This isn't a cherry-picked photo, this is how little meat they put in their subs now. I won't go back if they don't restore their original quality and quantity.

My beloved boy. Look how they massacred you. 🥺 This WAS the best banh mi spot in Calgary. My whole family has been coming for over 30 years. Unfortunately there was a change to ownership and I would’ve loved to keep supporting this place but it seems it’s just a shell of its former self. I always get the Assorted which essentially is a Vietnamese cold cut with lightly pickled veggies. Now there’s just a couple, very thin slices of meat. Veggies are not as generous as before. The pate and butter/mayo spread is sparse so the whole sandwich eats really dry. There was a juiciness from before that is lacking. The bread used to be the freshest baguette - soft and fluffy with a crisp exterior. Now it’s just soft, pale, and frankly, a bit stale. No bite, no crispness. And since it’s all bread now, you can really taste the difference. Unfortunately it’s bye bye to Thi Thi.

I haven’t been to Thi Thi In quite sometime and there is a reason why. talk about shrinkflation. I ordered assorted and ate it about 8 minutes after ordering and notice there was barely any meat in it. The meat was cut so thinly and the bread was soggy. I did not enjoy it.

Hi! This was my first time trying your SUB. To be honest, I felt a little bit disappointed because my friends had told me before that your sandwiches were always packed with lots of meat and veggies. But this time, the portion didn’t really go beyond my expectation. I guess it might be because of cost control, which I totally understand. In today’s economy, the value is still okay, but it didn’t quite exceed the impression I already had of Subway. Secondly, just my personal suggestion: maybe you could install a magnetic mosquito screen for the kitchen door—I saw some on Temu. That would help keep flies out. And in the front area, a mosquito-repellent lamp might also help. Lastly, the girl at the counter who took my order had such a sweet smile. But unfortunately, she said it was her last day working there. Honestly, one of the four stars this time is for her. I really hope you keep going and do even better!

My assorted sub from Thi Thi Vietnamese Sub tasted great, but it was basically a bread sandwich. I was pretty disappointed with how little meat was in it—it's a shame because I remember them being a lot more generous with the fillings in the past. Still delicious, but I hope they go back to their old ways!

Overall, great atmosphere albeit pretty loud ambience. The good was simple but elevated experience, my favourite was their endive salad. The chicken was good, crispy, tender but also over salted. Burger had a nice brisket with over-seasoned fries. We had a good experience overall, and the prices are very reasonable given the location and view and overall food quality and portions. Would definitely return!

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. The décor, lighting, and energy of the place instantly set the mood for a fun night out. The food was absolutely outstanding — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell that a lot of care goes into both the cooking and the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always smiling, which made the whole experience even better. Shoutout Bill our server was amazing great drink recommendation and food recommendation. I left with a full stomach, a big smile, and memories of a fantastic night. I can’t wait to come back again

We had a three course meal and some shareables, as well as drinks. Both were on point. My wife had the cesar salad, duck breast and a dairy free desert. I had the beef tartare, icelandic cod and an afagatto. We shared the glazed pork belly and some truffle fries. It was probably the best meal we’ve had in years. Food, drink and service were flawless. I wish we could remember our waitresses name because she was amazing!

Fantastic drop in experience that surpassed all expectations. The food was delicious and filling. With the duck being a particular highlight. Rich, full of flavour without stripping the actual flavour of duck out and being tender while not void of texture. The entrees were delightfully flavourful and service was prompt, polite and attentive. We opted for a quick power lunch of two entrees and a main and left far more filled than we could have expected. I only had the peach old fashioned but if that was anything to go by I think any cocktail there is a good bet. The atmosphere was clean, cosy and luxurious. With decor within being art deco/ mid century and put together with such great attention to detail that you had as much a view inside as you did looking out the window. And goodness is the view from the window something to behold. No camera of mine would do it justice but seeing the Calgary skyline and mountains in the distance was spectacular for still being in the downtown area. Highly recommend the experience and if you get the stroke of luck I had. Seeing two peregrine falcons fly towards us and perch outside the window momentarily was an external factor but one that made it all the more memorable.

Major Tom is one of the more premium dining experiences available in Calgary. Located in a downtown highrise the views can't be beat; the ambience gives metropolitan vibe and the food and beverage offering reflect that. The service was top tier and our server kept a good check on us even tho they were perpetually busy. We were by for a quick drink and apps and got the tartare and a few other sides, all delicious and innovative. Major Tom is definitely a place to go and be impressive and be impressed. Recommend for first timers to specify when making a reso a window seat in case they can accommodate you. Finally, Fine Dining but make it cool! I'll be back next time I'm in town.

We have been excited to try Major Tom since they opened. Yes, the view is pretty impressive and the open space surprises you as you're in a building. We were told to get appies here over main dishes. Thus, we ordered the Major Tots, Oysters on the Half Shell, Yellowfin Tuna Crudo, Hokkaido Scallop Crudo, and Roasted Scallops. My wife had the Oysters on the Half Shell. She said they were fresh and delicious. The Major Tots were impressive. The potatoe-y goodness with crispy exterior was complimented by a cream swirl. While pricey, the tots were worth it. The Yellowfin Tuna Crudo was a fun dish. The crispy squares paired well with the refreshing citrusy yellowfin tuna. Despite a similar name, the Hokkaido Scallop Crudo was served differently. They were on shells with a light acidic touch. Finally, the Roasted Scallops were perfectly cooked. They need nothing else to elevate them. We finished the meal with a Chocolate Millefeuille. It was not too sweet and well-balanced. It was a good ending to a good meal. We highly recommend the appetizers. It's a great place to stop by and grab a bite.

For four ppl, the price came to $99 and that included alcohol. Not bad at all considering where it's located. Good tasting food for a decent price. We all ordered the spicy rigatoni with different meat. It was delicious, the service was great.

El Furniture Warehouse was such a great spot for a casual lunch bite. We went there for lunch at 1pm on wednesday. The place was busy. It's a cute spot with indoor and an outdoor patio. We sat out on the patio and soaked in the lively energy of Stephen Avenue which added a fun vibe to the whole experience. My friend and I had the pasta and fish tacos. Both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh and satisfying without feeling heavy. Our meals came really fast. The service was fantastic too. The prices were soooo affordable and the portions of the meals were really good so yes we will be back! Our server was friendly and quick to help, which made us feel relaxed and taken care of. It was the kind of meal that leaves you smiling and already thinking about coming back.

Elfurniture Warehouse is honestly my favorite spot on Stephen Ave! Whenever I can’t decide where to go, I just end up here – and it’s always the right choice. The vibe is so fun, the food never disappoints, and the service is always super friendly and quick. I also love that the prices are very reasonable and the menu has so many options to pick from. My fiancée and I visited yesterday on our very first full day in Canada after moving over from the UK, and we’re so glad we did! Our server, Kaitlyn, was absolutely lovely – really welcoming, friendly, and so helpful in making us feel at home. The food was delicious, very well priced at C$40, and overall great value. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon. Highly recommend!

One of my absolute fave vegan spots in all of CALGARY. Everything thing on the menu is delicious and can be adjusted to your desired spice level. The food options are amazing and unique - an interesting combination of Indian fusion options. Almost everything on the menu is vegan, and can be made gluten free as well. And trust me, no-one will be missing the meat - so go ahead invite any/all of your friends. I’ve never been disappointed in anything ive ordered - from apps to burgers to wraps to flatbreads to soup!! The owners and the staff are genuinely helpful & warm people - offering samples of the soup & menu advice. The space isn’t really suited for dine in - as it’s small with sitting space at the order bar or at 2 tables. But don’t let that stop you - you can dine in, take-out, or buy frozen options!! Highly recommend for all!!

Veg-In YYC is an awesome little cafe with a fantastic menu offering super creative (and delicious) dishes that are packed with flavor. Everything tastes fresh and homemade in the best possible way. The staff are very nice and the owner is absolutely lovely... Really welcoming, knowledgeable and just a delight to chat with. The kind of people who are obviously genuine and passionate about what they do. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

I tried the Veg-In Special bowl, it was packed with flavour and delicious! My favorite was the Tandoori Cauliflower. My fiancée had the Brooklyn burger, which has beyond meat on it. He loves burgers and usually goes for meat, but he loved it! The chips add a nice texture. Lots of fresh veggies on both the bowl and the burger. The service is also very friendly, and the owner gave us some free chocolate which was super kind!! I'm definitely coming back for those vegan cupcakes and croissants!

Tasty food with decent gluten free options including some desserts to go. The owner is attentive and passionate about her craft and offers fantastic service. You are made to feel welcome and at home. They do offer a spice scale (which I love) and they are not messing around so if unsure, choose a level down. Doing so will ensure the spice does not overpower the intricate, complex and well paired flavors. Dine in seating is limited so plan for takeout if you can.

This unassuming eatery was a nice surprise after a long day of international travel. My partner and I were looking for a healing meal and found this welcoming restaurant with great service & fresh ingredients. Also owned by a family, mother/son. They were so nice. It's a mix of vegan and Indian with curries & chutneys served with the dishes. We ordered the Jack in Bollywood which had a hearty portion with kale slaw/salad on the side. The samosas were some of the best I've ever had and the presentation with sauces was beautiful. If you are looking for casual but fresh served with care, don't pass this up.

I was told to come here from a Vegan friend of mine. Was definitely worth coming in. I had the heaven on earth samosa. Packed with flavour and the right amount of spice. Staff is very friendly and says high to many of the customers by name. If you are looking for a place to eat that is authentic and good prices, this is the place to come. It is a good fusion of Indian and western cuisine. Also the place is full of neat information about the ingredients used.

I happened to stumble across this place when visiting from Edmonton and so happy I did. We were initially greeted by Sehra, she is so bubbly and friendly, It felt like meeting an old friend. The hospitality was top notch. Beside the welcoming atmosphere, the food was incredible. I had the enchilada and the flavour and portion size was awesome for the price. I went yesterday and the experience was excellent. The food and drinks were delicious, especially the shawarmas, made exactly the way I asked. The place was spotless, smelled clean, and you could really see the attention to detail. I had a small issue, and without me even saying anything, someone came over right away and helped us find a quick solution. That kind of service truly makes a difference. The staff was very friendly. Definitely deserves all my stars. I’ll absolutely be coming back. A place like this is worth visiting again and again!

Unbelievable! The 4.9 rating is well-deserved! The hostess is incredibly attentive! We bought a family meal for four, which included a snack and a drink. The place isn't new, but it's not old either. The menu is very clear and has a wide variety. Every dish is delicious... Highly recommended (*^o^*)

This is a great place, one of the best shawarma places I've visited in calgary SW. The service is great staff welcomes clients very friendly. The food is fresh and delicious. Great area to dine in. Plenty of parking space. They even offer bites for clients to taste while waiting. One star missing because of one time the protein was a bit too low on the plate. Please visit this place and you will not regret any second of your visit!

My family and I had such a wonderful time at Seniore’s Pizza restaurant ! The food was absolutely delicious, the crust perfectly crispy, the toppings fresh, and the flavours just right. What made our visit even more special was the incredible service. A big thank you to Farid and the whole team for being so kind and attentive. They made us feel truly welcome and helped us enjoy every moment together. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food with such genuine hospitality. We’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy place to share a great meal with family or friends! 🍕❤️

I don’t know how this place has such a high rating. I ordered the baked Ravioli and Pesto Penne and both were laden with oil/ cheese. Ravioli itself is supposed to have cheese inside, but they also put a 1/2 inch thick cheese layer on the top. The ravioli underneath was so overcooked that after removing the top layer of cheese, it was inedible. Pesto sauce was also excessive with crazy amount of oil. If you don’t want your arteries blocked with fat, please don’t order pasta from here.

We tried the Chicken Donair Pizza from Seniore’s and it was seriously delicious! The flavor was extremely good, well made, and the generous cheese topping made every bite even better. The only thing is, their large size isn’t as big as I expected , could’ve been a bit bigger for the price. That said, it still felt worth it. Prices may be on the higher side, but the taste and quality make up for it. Just a heads-up: if you’re walking in, expect long lines and wait times almost every day.

It’s a good spot for a quick bite if you buy the slices. If you’re ordering a pizza, be ready to wait for 30mins. They messed up my pizza order a bit because it was too busy, but hey, they made up for it by offering us extra slices. I am happy with the taste, size of the pizza and slices was good, with fresh and quality ingredients. It does come with an extra garlic sauce. You get other seasonings in store.

Donair pizza, who would've thought? Came here right after landing from the airport, wanting a late night bite. This is probably as good as it gets for a midnight snack. Huge line despite the time, and I got two slices: chicken donair + spicy bbq chicken for less than 10 bucks. Humongous slices with extremely thick dough. This ain't like New York style pizza so beware! Solid flavour, and each slice comes with a gigantic garlic sauce container which made the experience a million times better. Highly recommend if you land in Calgary and want to try out donair pizza!

Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! Perfect if you like thick Chicago style slices with loads of toppings and great flavor. The beef donair was the highlight for me. The slices are big and hearty so 1 will be enough for the average person. I may or may not have had two.

Easy 5 stars. Great pizza and killer garlic sauce, don't be afraid to get it "by the slice" either. The slices are humongous. Service is very fast and everything is fresh because it's so busy. Can be hard to find parking, so be aware!

Noodle King Vietnamese Restaurant is one of the best of authentic cuisine. The dinning service at the Noodle King Vietnamese Restaurant is generally quick and friendly, making it an easy choice for all solo/family dinings, casual meals, quick lunches and group gatherings. This unique place had only one-size meals. Unlike other Vietnamese Restaurants, they had three sizes. Small, normal, and large. Affordable prices and varies of meals. This place had the most respectable trained staff. They were friendly, attentive and efficient. Quick service was crucial for maintaining pleasant dining experience. I was shocked that one of the staff was handle professionally . She was multi-tasking with a group of 10 customers + at the checkout of payments with ease, in addition; she was on the phone taking orders at the same time. She earned my respects and values. #38 - Noodle King special vermicelli is one of the signature meal. The combination of flavors of the dish was truly delightful. The savory beef and pork paired well with the crunchy spring rolls, while the fresh vegetables added a cooling contrast. The secret sauce added everything together, balanced sweet, sour and the after-taste burp. Only negative was there was no official website. They had Skip, however, this restaurant is not registered. Unbelievable experiences and highly recommend for the locals and tourists.

I visited Noodle King and tried the satay chicken noodle and steamed shrimp wrapper. The experience was pleasant overall, though not particularly outstanding. The chicken slices were modest in portion, and the wrapper skin was thicker than expected, especially when compared to the more delicate versions I’ve had in Vietnam. That said, the flavors were decent, and while the dishes didn’t wow me, they were good enough for a casual meal. I’d consider returning to try other items on the menu.

I’ve never had such delicious noodles and spring rolls in Calgary. The rolls were crispy and not oily like in other restaurants. Also, it was the first time I didn’t feel a stomachache after having satay noodles — the taste was the best.

Sadly we were quite disappointed with the flavours of the pho and bun bo hue. Visiting from Edmonton and this was close to the hotel. Had good reviews so we gave it a try. It was steady with locals so perhaps it’s the flavour profile that’s more local. Definitely not for us.

4.7 ⭐️ Top choice for Pho Sate. Ground up peanuts in a creamy sate coconut sauce unlike most other restaurants where the chilli oil is not homogenous with the soup base and floats on the top surface of the soup itself. This spot is well known for their Sate. Best In Alberta.

Ate here while in Calgary because it was recommended by a YouTuber. The satay beef noodle soup is amazing! Make sure to order the special beef noodle soup and then upgrade to satay by adding $3. You'll get a lot more meat (beef balls, tripe, and brisket) compared to the plain satay beef noodle. Excellent service also (looks like it's family owned). This will be a go-to place every time I'm in Calgary.

Nice restaurant with comfortable booths and service was great. We tried the grilled beef skewers which were the best we've had so we ordered another one! Highly recommend the skewers. For the mains we had grilled pork with vermicelli and spring rolls. Both were good but not better than most other good Vietnamese restaurants. We would go back for sure.

I think this place is really hit and miss depending on the audience and your expectations. For me, it was a hit. I enjoyed the retro Asian restaurant vibes and the “hidden” element of being a speakeasy style restaurant/bar. The place apparently does get busy, but we went early on a Friday and there were maybe 3 tables there. I would still recommend a reservation just to make sure and that way you don’t have to think about whether or not you’ll get in. Their drinks were well crafted and had unique spins to them. I appreciate the attempt to try something different as that’s what makes cocktails fun. The food was okay, good for snacks, but not really a dinner spot I would say. Only real complaint I have is that things can take a while, including both food and drink. Come and stay for the retro feel and the unique drinks.

Speakeasy bar in chinatown. Not difficult to find though. Friendly staff Atmosphere is very casual and simple interior. The bar counter seating is nice. Decent cocktail selection. The Plum God cocktail is an interesting twist to a Manhattan. Presentation is very basic

I did not know this place existed in Chinatown! Paper Lantern is an Asian inspired speakeasy with many Asian inspired drinks. I tried the dragon palm and the serving for 4 people came in hoisin sauce can which I thought was a genius idea. For next time, I'd try the one inch punch just because of the name. The pandan actually tasted like pandan and there were so many more cocktails I couldn't decide between. The atmosphere was great with the dimmed red lighting and it wasn't too loud so you could chat with friends easily.

A little while ago, I came here with a group of 5 friends around 7pm when the restaurant was only hosting only 1 table at the time we walked in. A little later, 2 more friends wanted to join us. I know the policy is no groups larger than 6, so I asked our server if they could come. I even said that if not, we’re understand. She went to check with the manager and came back saying yes, it was fine since there were no reservations for the night. Before my friends even arrived, the restaurant started to fill up. Still, I figured it was okay because we were ordering plenty of food and drinks, not just sitting there. As soon as my friends sat down, the servers handed them menus but gave them barely 2 minutes to decide. They quickly ordered drinks, then placed their food order a little later. Right after the food order was taken, the server came back and told us we only had 15 minutes left at the table. That’s when we learned about the 2-hour time limit. I understand if that’s their policy, but if they weren’t going to restart the clock when new guests joined, they should have told us upfront. Instead, my two friends barely had 30 minutes to sit, eat, and drink. Then the bill came with an automatic 18% gratuity for parties of 6+. I normally don’t mind gratuity, but in this case it felt unfair. The service was rushed, inconsistent, and my friends hardly got to enjoy the experience. Honestly, it felt like they said yes to adding more people because the restaurant looked slow, but once it got busy, they rushed us out without hesitation, like they didn’t care about our business. I left feeling like we got scammed — not because of the gratuity, but because of the lack of transparency and how rushed the whole thing was.

Had the best time spending time with my girl friends and our server Kobe was AMAZING!! He overheard us in our conversation and he immediately tuned in and it was so much fun conversing with him like it was natural. Atmosphere was amazing as usual and the food as well no complaints! The other servers as well who helped serve our foods and complied with our requests were so friendly and kind! Definitely my favourite place with friends

This place is such an awesome experience. Upon first glance, the exterior looks questionable. Hidden in a decrepit looking basement entrance. When you make your way inside, you are greeted by a very cool, cultural atmosphere. Not too much light comes from the paper lantern lighting, but helps to set the mood and vibe of this place. The drinks.......oh my god, the drinks! Absolutely delicious, 10/10. Tried a few and they are all amazing. Different and unique with the flavor combinations, but so so tasty. We had the chicken banh mi and beef skewers. The skewers were quite small but very tasty. I def recommend this place! Don't let the front door scare you away.

Nice !! I just came in for a quick snack. Wanted to grab some chicken nuggets or chicken tenders. Staff was quite helpful they explained that the chicken tenders are four large pieces of white meat while the crispy boneless bites are prepared with the dark meat... It goes by weight so I got a third of a pound for 9:25 and that gave me just over 12 large pieces of chicken which I was really shocked to see such a generous portion size for the price. Chicken is deep fried in a nice crunchy batter.. inside was tender and juicy. They also have a nice variety of dipping sauces that are seemingly in-house made and unique to this restaurant. This restaurant just geared to the grab and go customers mud the dryer by a couple of bench seats as well as a couple of picnic tables outside.. They also offer some good packages that you can bring home to the family. Which will set you back about $10 a serving for a family of five. They also offer some house brewed iced tea, malted chocolate milkshakes and some other unique sodas my favorite was the ginger beer which was packed with ginger flavor They also do catering. They have a location in Walden area if you're not keen on driving into the downtown area.

Cluck N Cleaver came highly recommended and to say we were excited about trying them out is an understatement. However, the food was a let down. We ordered the four piece fried chicken. The person behind the counter was really pleasant and told us that our order would take us about six minutes. Five minutes later, we were walking out with piping hot chicken that smelled amazing. This was the last highlight of the meal. The fried chicken was...very well done, extremely salty, and almost impossible to eat without dousing it in ketchup. We were certainly hoping this place would be more than the hype. Can't say that it was.

Fried chicken is absolutely amazing. Rotisserie chicken isn’t too bad but I wouldn’t be coming here for rotisserie chicken hit and miss with flavour and most times it’s dry. Fries are so so as well as the sides. My biggest complaint would be the value prices, astonishingly expensive, but it is good chicken if you can afford it.

Chicken is great; but watch out for green spots in fries ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ Cluck N Cleaver is easily my fav chicken spot in Calgary. The chicken is consistently juicy and flavorful, with breading that's perfectly crisp without being greasy. The dips are honestly next-level, especially the honey mustard and the blue cheese. They take the meal from great to amazing. If you like to dip I'd recommend getting two! The prices are reasonable too and portions are decent. The fries are also very tasty, but here's my one small complaint: every time I order them, I notice green spots on some of the fries (which comes from potatoes with light exposure). It's hard to tell from the picture I posted, but these fries had green tips on the ends. Usually the spots are much bigger, showing up on at least one or two fries per order. I'm not sure if Cluck N Cleaver cuts their own or if they come from a supplier, but I wish the quality control was a bit tighter on that. That said, I still happily order them. Just keep an eye on the fries. Even with that minor issue, I keep coming back because the chicken and dips are just that good. If you want some of the best fried chicken in the city, Cluck N Cleaver is the place to go.

Came down to River Hall and had one of their amazing mother clucker chicken sandwiches. So delicious and everyone there was wonderful. Do it! Come have a sandwich!!

The chicken itself was incredible. I got it as a sandwich, though, and a fried chicken sandwich is a whole other thing. There was no slaw, no pickles, the only sauce was mayo - so as a fried chicken sandwich, it had room to grow. That said, the chicken itself was out of this world. Almost excellent enough for the chicken's flavor profile to speak for the whole sandwich. Bun was small and simple, lettuce was just a leaf or two on top. Again, though - the chicken itself was incredible. If you come in looking for a chicken spot, you're in a great place. If fried chicken sandwiches are what you're into, know the Clucker is a bit of a minimalist option.

First time trying this place. The staff was amazing. I got the chicken tenders - the chicken was a great value, loved the battering and fry on it, I really enjoyed it but I am a dipper and love my honey mustard sauce as much as the chicken itself - except this time. The honey mustard sauce was horrible. Too much vinegar and left a horrible taste in my mouth. I was so disappointed I had to take the time to write in the hopes they may reconsider that receipe or opt for a commercially sold sauce.

Dana is an absolute gem of a host! From the moment we walked into the restaurant, she greeted us with such warmth and kindness that we instantly felt at ease. Her sense of humor is fantastic she’s genuinely funny and brings a lighthearted energy to the whole experience. It’s rare to find someone who makes you feel so welcome while also keeping the mood fun and relaxed. Dana truly elevates the atmosphere and makes dining here a real treat! We had Mac and cheese brisket (it’s very filling) And cubs cheese burger

A great place! Friendly staff and delicious food. Got the poutine - definitely a shareable size. Probably need 2-3 people to take this down. The lemon pepper wings were also well done, as were the tipsy short rib tacos. Don’t be confused by the “bites” title. These portions are massive. The house crafted sodas were very good! Note, they are not very carbonated. But the flavours were there.

Beers were so good! Love the Cesar salad, tasted so good! For appetizers we love the pork tacos! They were so juicy and tasty! Burgers and sandwiches taste good but a bit salty. Overall good food and enjoyable environment here! Also they have the beautiful Mountain View by the window seats!

Good food, great beer. This is our second time here, and both have been good experiences. I had the Boss burger the first time and Mac and Cheese with braised pulled beef the second time. My wife had Chicken Parmesan flatbread then the Egg plant bomb burger . Highly recommend.

Holy cow we had to come back here twice. The food was delicious and huge. I definitely recommend the side salad vs the fries. Kids had cheese pizza and the chicken tenders and both were huge portions and delicious. The Korean brisket sandwich and hot honey chicken sandwich was to die for. The brown beer and red beer were also excellent. Really happy we found this place. Right in the downtown area and got seated quickly on a Friday and Saturday night around 6-7pm but it was definitely busy. A larger party would likely have to go outside.

Stopped after a hike in the area for a bite to eat. Food was excellent, with great poutine and burgers. Service was slower than expected (as it was not very busy), but at least they were nice and it wasn't terrible. Food came out quick, was very good for the price and I would highly recommend you stop by when in the area.

Great spot for a bite to eat. Friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere. The hamburger was tasty but the fish was okay could have been cooked a little bit longer the batter wasn’t cooked all the way through, overall will definitely be back to try other items on their menu, they have a great selection.

Had breakfast here with the family. Friendly enough staff on arrival and lovely flowers at the front door! Pretty much everything you would expect for a breakfast eatery. I always get a bit freaked out by loads of ketchup / sauce bottles open on a display as I worry about how long they have been there- how can you track the dates of all those bottles?? The decor was a bit confused and I couldn’t work out the vibe…..Masquerade masks 🎭 on the wall along with jazz instruments and a suspended ceiling with 80s style Miami Vice curved arches. But don’t be put off. The food was really good🤨I ate strawberry waffles with cream, my son blasted through chocolate choc chip buttermilk pancakes and my Wife really enjoyed buttermilk pancakes, maple syrup , Canadian 🇨🇦 bacon and cream. We washed this down with tea and water. It is worth noting my son is a pancake expert with real world experience and he rated them highly!

Place with a cool interior. De food was good, price quality a good deal. It was also plenty, ideal after a hike. It has friendly staff who even gave us some tips to explore the area.

A good hearty breakfast after a day of hiking. Hope very helpful and kind. The Cajun Poutine with Andouille Sausage was a really dynamite combiation. The spice rack/hot sauce wall is really fun.

The food here was excellent! We’re Florida natives, so we know what true southern food tastes like. Most restaurants outside of the south don’t really know how to cook authentic southern food. But the fried green tomatoes were on point, the pork belly was perfectly cooked, the remoulade was great and everything was salted just right. Very pleased with the experience!

My shuttle driver recommended this eatery. So, I checked it out 2 days in a row. I would tell the waitress what I was interested in, and they would recommend a different take on it. I must say, those ladies were spot on! I never been to Louisiana because it's too hot and humid for me. I heard about the food scene there. Well, I am good now that I visited the town of Banff in the country of Canada with Louisiana flare! I definitely got my fill of delicious cuisine and wonderful customer service! My compliments to the chefs! 🫶🏽😊🇨🇦🌎

Make a reservation if you have a group bigger than 5. We had 8. Food was delicious. Reasonably priced for Banff. It was busy. A bit squishy to get around, as you are pretty close to the other tables. Sauces were fresh. Service a little slow as it was so busy! Loud, but it adds character to the atmosphere of the distillery. Bathrooms could be a tad cleaner. Overall, I enjoyed it immensely. This was my last time traveling to Banff. It is so overcrowded. No parking available. I like little stress as possible, and the town was insane. Too busy for me and the family.

Came here twice during our visit to Banff, we came back the second time not only because it was a neat environment however the staff was very friendly! It was truly a good experience and consistent both times! Came here the first night for drinks and the bartenders were very personable and friendly! The drinks were good too, so all around we had an excellent experience. Then on Sunday we got engaged and came here for dinner after our lake tours and had another good experience! The food was excellent, yet again the drinks were good and the environment great! They distill and make spirits here and it’s just a cool spot! We throughly enjoyed this place and the bartender gave us a celebratory shot after hearing of our engagement! We will be back during our next visit and know it’ll be the same!!! Thank you

Food was good. The bbq sauce is amazing. Had the gnocci and was good but not enough. Also had the rotisserie chicken and the gravy was cold. Drinks were half price in happy hour and good. Live entertainment also really nice

Amazing vibes! Such a cool place to go for a quick sit down with appys and omg you have to try the hard root beer 10/10 new favourite cocktail! Food so good we went twice while on vacation! This is a great lowkey spot with excellent house made spirits. Lunch special was totally worth it and the cornbread appetizer is really as good as everyone says. Great atmosphere, location and service!

My girlfriend and I stopped at park for lunch with the dogs. We were seated out in the patio right away. Our waiter Sam was fantastic. We split the meat platter and there was nothing left really good. The observation peak cocktail which I had was fantastic very Smokey and smooth! Definitely a great spot to sit relax with a drink and people watch

My group the spicy rigatoni, salmon, chicken and the truffle fries. Everything was delicious! I also had a good Mexican draft beer and Moscow mule cocktail. The cocktail seemed light on alcohol however. We sat outside with a nice view of the street and mountains.

We've been here many times over the years. We know all the food is top notch, the food prices and portions are the best. Our waiter was amazing as well. Its a busy spot but the food comes out quite quickly. Apparently they have the best French onion soup, I never tried it was it was a rave at our table. And those ribs on the appetizer menu are HUGE! We definitely will be coming back

Melissa’s MisSteak in Banff was a great breakfast spot overall! The restaurant was spotless and smelled amazing when we walked in, which made for a really nice first impression. Our server — we didn’t catch his name — was awesome. Super friendly, easygoing, and made the experience better. We had a window seat with a stunning mountain view, which was honestly one of the highlights of the visit. The food was solid. The hash browns were tasty and crispy, and the sausage was okay — not bad, just a bit mediocre compared to everything else. The scrambled eggs, though, were a bit of a mixed bag for me. They were dense, a little gelatinous, and had a strange texture that threw me off. Not terrible, but not my favorite. Overall, I’d still call it an above-average breakfast spot. The service, view, and atmosphere were fantastic, and most of the food was delicious. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 just because the meal wasn’t quite exceptional, but I’d still recommend it if you’re in Banff!

Was our last night for dinner out visiting, and thought a good steak house would hit the spot. It did but I wasn't blown away to be honest. It wasn't bad at all so please dont think im saying that. it was just good not amazing great. Service from tosh was awesome. The reason I gave 4 stars is mashed potatoes seem like something from school cafeteria steak was cooked perfectly but didn't have much flavor, still tender though. The spaghetti squash was delicious. This is Just the experience we received .

We were seated promptly and given beautiful window seats. The waitress ( KIM ) was very knowledgeable and honest…. The steaks and lobster and Yorkshire tail were awesome!!! Great job everyone.

Nice spot for lunch. Service is good and food is great. Came by between 2-3pm so there was not a long wait between orders. I had the buffalo starter, steak and chips main and the brownie for dessert. Worth a visit!

The steak was delicious, with just the right tenderness that even the kids enjoyed. The side dishes were also very flavorful. The pork ribs were prepared by frying, and adding a bit of lemon juice for seasoning was just right perfect to go with a glass of beer. The lobster was also well-prepared. Next time I’d like to go back and try their brunch.

Great place to have dinner. We had prime rib 😋 it was very good. It was our 50th Wedding anniversary 💕. We had great service. The restaurant was cozy. Greatly recommended. We were offered champagne 🍾 which was very good and a free dessert 🍨 as it was our 50th anniversary.

Great spot for pizzas and pints. We prefer sitting at the bar to better explore the ample bier offerings w the help of the friendly and knowledgeable bar keeps. The salad I had(see pic) had a delightfully light and zesty dressing, not overdone at all. The pepperoni they use is definitely a spicy blend which I prefer and cuts well w the salty cheesiness. The margherita pizza was nice but I really prefer more of the fresh sweet Italian basil w it to pair w the acidity and spice of the red sauce, but that’s just me. Glad we dropped in once again to enjoy the warm and lively atmosphere.

A very nice eatery in Banff, that has a great patio and as with a lot of restaurants in town, is also pet friendly. The staff was very accommodating and patient with our party of eight plus dog. The pizza and wings were great, though the Cubano was a bit too sauce heavy unfortunately, though still tasty. Overall an excellent experience.

Ended up coming twice during our trip to Banff because the pizza was so delicious and the vibes were perfect for after a long day of hiking. In our two trips we had the pepperoni pizza, elk pizza, and pineapple pizza all of which were fantastic. We also shared a French onion soup and the shrimp Bao; the shrimp Bao were very yummy but portions were a bit tiny for the price. The special beer was a boisenberry variant which had a lovely tang and acidity. Also tried the maple old fashioned which was very much on the sweeter side. Highly recommend!

We were able to eat at the bar with no reservation on a Friday night. Our bartender was super welcoming and offered great suggestions. We had two pizzas, but easily could have shared one. The unique chili oil and honey dipping sauce is amazing!! Great pizza choice if you are in Banff!

The restaurant is modern and beautifully designed, perfectly fitting Banff’s mountain theme. There are several seating areas across multiple floors, both indoors and outdoors. The atmosphere is inviting, relaxed, and full of local character. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious, clearly made with quality ingredients. We ordered the elk pizza — creative and well-prepared. Personally, I might choose a different one next time, only because the elk flavor was subtle, more of a hearty protein addition than a distinct taste. Still, it was enjoyable and well-balanced. The French onion soup was outstanding — rich, flavorful, and just right for a cool day in Banff. The mozzarella and toasted bread were perfectly done. Overall, a great experience — wonderful service, good atmosphere, and food that reflects care and craftsmanship. “Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31) Keep doing what you do with excellence and kindness — it truly makes a difference.

The Godfather was an excellent pizza! They have a lovely Rosemary Chili Oil & honey 5 serve their pizza with which was unique! The caesar salad was alright.

Tied for the best meal I had on my two week holiday across Western Canada. And certainly the best lunch by far! We stopped in Banff on our way back to Calgary from Jasper to see the town one last time. We had quite a bit of time so we decided to have lunch and the place we picked wasn’t open until dinner time. The Bear Street Tavern was next-door. What a lucky surprise?! We sat in the courtyard outside and it was charming. The team waiting on us couldn’t be more pleasant or helpful. It’s not a huge menu, which we actually quite liked and I had the Tavern bowl, which was a super tasty kale based vegan salad. I had a chicken because I’m not a vegan, and this salad was incredibly good. The dressing with sublime, the taste and balance of flavour amazing. And it was huge, my husband and I could’ve shared it easily. My husband had the sub sandwich and it was so good really fresh wonderful Italian Chili peppers. I’m originally from New York and that sub sandwich looked really authentic. Did not have big expectations, and I loved this place . I would say it was more lunch than dinner but depends on what mood you’re in and how much food you had all day but you won’t go hungry here and they also do pizza .

A Vegetarian Delight in the Rockies If you're looking for the best vegetarian food in Banff, Nourish Bistro is the place to be. The Big Bear Burger was absolutely delicious — flavorful, hearty, and satisfying even for non-vegetarians. They also offer a great variety of fruity beers and creative cocktails that pair perfectly with the food. The service was friendly and attentive, and the cozy, nature-inspired ambiance adds to the overall experience. It is a bit on the pricey side, but the quality and uniqueness of the dishes make it worth it. Make sure to book in advance as it could be very busy.

We’re not vegan, but we always love trying vegan food and Nourish did not disappoint! We saw great reviews and decided to check it out. The food was honestly amazing. We loved everything we ordered, and the cocktails were just as good. Only thing that threw us off a bit was that we weren’t done with our food (we still had fries and few bites left), and one of the staff just picked up our plates without asking if we were done. That felt a little off, to be honest. But apart from that, the rest of the staff was nice, and the vibe was good. If you’re vegan or just curious to try vegan food, this place is definitely worth a visit. Loved their in-house burgers, highly recommend!

I loved Nourish Bistro so much that I ate here TWICE during my 2 day visit to Banff. The first time I had the delicious Vietnamese Noodle Salad with tofu. Not only was it delicious, but it was colourful and beautifully composed. The next day I came back for a lighter meal and had the vegetable gyoza. I also enjoyed the home made lemon / lime drink, which was wonderfully refreshing and not too sweet. The best part was the terrific service! The staff seemed to operate as a very cooperative team to provide seamless service. The restaurant itself had a comfortable and calm vibe. Sit outside on their patio with yellow umbrellas to get a lovely view is the mountains. Support this small, independent business! 💛

Super friendly and super relaxed staff. Good ambiance. Most importantly really good food. The menu is creative and divers. All vegetarian restaurant and all upgradable to vegan. It does so without screaming this, in my opinion that is a huge plus and a compliment. Just go and try this restaurant.

If ever you are in Banff, this is a gem of a place. Everything is vegetarian or vegan including the drinks. We were in Banff end of May and were looking for a restaurant with more vegetarian options as well as the ambience. This place fitted the needs. Lovely patio sitting and the service was excellent. It was Saturday evening and the place was packed so we waited for 15 mins to get a table which was so worth it considering all the delicious options on the menu. There were four of us - we ordered Boss Bear Burger, Nourishment Bowl and Wild Mushrooms Ravioli. All three dishes were yummy. And also ordered beer and a non alcoholic drink. Will definitely go there again if ever we are in Banff!!

So nice to find a place to enjoy a variety of fresh, healthy and original veggie dishes. The dumplings were prolly our favorite but I do have to give a shout out to both the beet humus and their marinaded/grilled tofu …both were super yummy as part of the overall salad I had. Thankfully the dressing was not overdone so I could enjoy the overall mix of flavors. Glad the weather cooperated as it was nice to dine on the patio and enjoy the lively outdoor atmosphere. PS- if u get the dumplings and have any dipping sauce left over, I loved dipping the falafel into it, but maybe that’s just me!

Heaven for vegetarians. We got the mushrooms ravioli and black bean burger. The fries with the burger were seasoned so well. And all the sauces were super tasty. Going back again to try other stuff. Definitely recommend. The staff is super friendly and welcoming!!!

Had lunch here with a group and couldn't be happier with our choice! The pizzas were truly gourmet quality - you can taste the difference in ingredients and preparation. What really stood out was the staff - they were incredibly accommodating which created such a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant has a fantastic vibe that makes you want to linger. Even though they were clearly busy, our server kept our water glasses full and made sure we had everything we needed. Their garlic cheesy bread is perfect - just the right amount of garlic with plenty of cheese, and you can get it with red sauce or ranch on the side. Rocky Mountain Flat Bread delivers on both food quality and hospitality.

The place has a great vibe overall. They have variety of vegetarian options as well. We tried Cheesy Garlic Flatbread and Dip - which was good. We also tried Create your own veg pizza - the pizza was tasty but the crust could have been better. Overall it was a great experience. The service was also decent. The location is great though, with free street parking nearby.

Went twice, and everything was phenomenal. Their lunch special is a great deal, the views are lovely the wood fired oven gives it a nice warm ambiance, and the service is wonderful. I got the apple chicken pizza with their ranch and it was maybe one of the best pizzas ive had. I loved the crust. I'm sure I'll be back, as there are still 3 more pizzas i have to try!!!

We stopped by on our last night in Canmore for a quick bite but really wish we would have visited sooner. We got to try the BBQ chicken pizza which was really good. It does have marinara or some other tomato based sauce aside from BBQ which was new to us but it was good. Was super busy but we didn’t have to wait long for a table and the staff was very nice and attentive. Definitely recommend this spot.

Had a really great time here last night, the food was delicious and the toppings felt fresh, there’s options for everyone. We also had the feature soup which was also really tasty! Our server Stephanie was amazing also. Yes the pizza prices are a bit elevated, however it is a smaller tourist town so considering what the other options in the area are, I found it to be reasonable for what you received. Beers etc are actually comparable to regular prices elsewhere. Overall, it’s a family business, foods great, vibes are amazing, the only bad thing I have to say is that they aren’t big enough for the crowds they get!

We ate here after a long day of flying, driving, and getting settled for our stay. Service was quick, efficient and friendly. I like seeing the brick oven and the cooks at work. There were lots of great combinations on the menu. Good value, too, three of us split the fig and goat cheese salad and the cheesy flatbread with pesto appetizer. I had the chicken and apple flatbread pizza. They were interesting flavors and very well executed. Really enjoyed our experience here.

One of the best bagels I’ve ever tried crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. We ordered the salmon and ham bagels, and both were delicious. The view is unbeatable, with mountains surrounding you in beautiful Canmore. The place can get quite busy and crowded, but we still managed to find a seat and enjoy our bagels.

Great burger spot in the Heart of Banff, right where all the action is, and surrounded by historic architecture. The service was excellent and the food is too! The poutine was enormous, made with high quality cheese curds, delicious vegetarian gravy, and crispy crinkle fries! I had the house made, spiced veggie burger, made like a smash burger - it was the bomb! I added onion, and it was a 10/10! Onion rings on the side are made fresh to order, beer battered and also done right! If you’re looking for a good burger in Banff, you’ve found it!

Well located in downtown, place is small, lively, nice and comfortable. Service is good. Menu has different options on burgers, including bison patty and elk patty. You can also configure your burger by yourself. Fries are fantastic and burgers very tasty.

After a poor visit to Magpie and a stump in Banff Alberta, the owner reached out to me to apologize and make it right. We final had a chance to visit Banff again and visited The Eddie Burger + Bar, which is one of their member restaurants. This visit was spectacular. From the service to the food. We could not be more impressed. The location is not large but it is quaint and cozy. Our server explained their menu from the standard food items to the customize your burger menu. You use a dry erase marker on a special menu where you pick out the options you want. Very cool idea and works wonderful in a burger joint. I opted for the classic Eddie burger while my table mates chose the customized option. Over all the food was delicious and hot. A great stop if you like a great classic burger.

As an avid burger lover, this place was recommended to me. I had the build your own burger with a side of crinkle fries and a chocolate milkshake. I was overly thrilled with how everything tasted. The service and atmosphere on the patio was very nice as well. I will 100% be returning in the future next time I’m in Banff :)

They say a picture's worth a thousand words. We had the Stampede with fries and Elk with deep fried pickles; both burgers were tasty and the fries and pickles, especially the sauce that comes with the pickles, were GREAT. What's most surprising though was the raspberry chocolate milkshake! It was seriously super refreshing and not too sweet ❤️ Highly recommend

Been to The Eddie Burger in Banff a few times and it’s always delicious. The fries are well-seasoned, the burgers are big and top-notch, and I love the create-your-own burger option. It’s a small spot so it can get busy, and prices are definitely on the Banff side, but the quality makes it worth it.

I have tried many burgers in Europe(almost in every country),North-America and South-America. Here, I had the chance to try The Rocky Mountain(with Elk patty). In my humble opinion, this was THE BEST BURGER in my life, the taste is incredible and it just melts in your mouth, you have to try it. My wife was not that keen on having Burgers for dinner(three days in a row). The staff is very friendly and always happy to help you. They have an amazing thing going on here, I do hope that they keep it up. When we are in Banff again, we definitely going to have dinner here. Just try it and you won't be dissapointed.

Great food and exceptional service. Went there during a trip to Canada and absolutely loved the drinks, food (loved the meat, pescatarian and vegetarian options, so yummy)! We were dining on the patio, and at the beginning they told us, “We can’t guarantee you’ll be able to move inside if it rains.” Still, we decided to enjoy sitting outside. Then, out of nowhere, it started pouring. I asked our server, just in case, if we could move inside, and they immediately prepared a table for us and guided us in. I was there with my parents, so it was such a big help! The food and drinks were delicious, and the service was excellent. Thank you so much!

Tried their tacos and the basin burrito — both were delicious! Fresh ingredients, great flavor, and well-balanced seasoning. Portion sizes were generous, and everything tasted authentic. Definitely worth coming back for more!

We are OBSESSED with magpie and stump. Whether we stop in for nachos after a long day of skiing or can’t resist a margarita during a browse in Banff… this is our go to. The food is FRESH, AUTHENTIC and GENEROUS! Nothing will beat the house made corn chips either. Service is always animated and promptly timed! Makes for a memorable experience.

After visiting the lakes, we were walking back to our car we came upon the delicious smelling Magpie & Stump and hurried in. I had a delicious jalapeño margarita and chicken quesadillas, and my son had the recommended chicken fajitas. They were both very good. We had a fantastic server from London, and the bar tender kept the drinks coming:)

Amazing choices of beer and Food. We ordered quesadillas, tacos and couple of beers. Loved the food, the vibe and felt bit neglected by the waiter as they would take time to come on check if we need anything. Waiter didn’t even bothered to ask if we need any desserts. But again it would be that one Individual. I would definitely go again if I am in BANFF

One of the friendliest places we were in while in Banff. The cocktails were brilliant, and the food sublime, all with great service. So good, we came back twice more during our stay with each experience living up to the last. The nachos are a must.

Great spot for fresh beers, Ride or Dry was my favorite! The smash burger was goooood. The hot chicken sandwich could have had more seasoning / sauce. It was pretty dry. The servers were friendly, the vibe is great. Would recommend.

I’ve eaten here many times over 14years and usually love the food. But tonight we ordered takeout through an app, and my burger came with this awful rotten piece of lettuce! I don’t mean wilted from being in the box, but yellow & brown patches from it being days or weeks old! It was disgusting to find rotten food in my freshly ordered meal!!!

A little late to review but better late than never! On a weekend trip with my mom and sister I insisted we go to Banff ave brewing as it is a favourite of my husband and I. We previously had a lot of the fancier restaurants booked for dinners. We popped in at opening for lunch and we had such a fantastic meal. My mom ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries and she said it was the best “burger” she has ever had and that the fries were absolutely perfect. I ordered a regular burger and have dietary restrictions, our server Jeremiah was so helpful and just overall a wonderful server. He was attentive, funny and knowledgeable. The nitro pina colada was killer. Thank you for a wonderful time as always.

This is a fun brewpub with an excellent selection of permanent and rotating beers on tap - the tasting selection of 6 beers is the way to go. It was fully packed out when we visited owing to the Melissa’s Road Race crowd but were still well served despite longer than usual waits for drinks and food. A good, convenient and causal pit stop for some drinks and grub on the main drag.

Stopped into Banff Ave Brewing and had the 12-oz Wild Warden (Raspberry Rhubarb Sour 6.2%) which was a really good beer that I would have again. This was a nice brewery with more draft options than the Three Bears Brewery nearby. Unfortunately the 2nd floor seating at the balcony lookong out onto the street had all seats taken, otherwise, that seemed like a really nice spot to enjoy a cold beer on a warm day.

We ate outside and was dog friendly. They have daily specials and we tried the fish and chips with poutine fries and the cauliflower app. Everything was fresh and crispy, super tasty. Tried some various beers they had on tap which were great. Def recommend if you are in town.

Cool place, good staff, accommodating of our baby, tasty beers and food. The reason this isn't a 5 star is everything was good, but I wasn't blown away by anything. Definitely worth a visit.

Saw the reviews about the ramen curry and had to try it. It was incredible! There were a lot of toppings in it, so much flavor and it was a good portion. My bf got the thai curry mussels w pita bread. He said they might have been the best mussels hes ever had and cleaned the bowl 😅 We both agreed we could have gone without the tiramisu brownie dessert. The top has caramelized sugar, middle is a tiramisu cream layer, and the bottom is brownie. It was unique but not amazing. The service was good, the waitress always came by at a good time. This place is so small, it probably seats aorund 20 people at once. Super cool place! Wish I could have tried more things cause everything sounded so good.

My husband and I had dinner at Block on our recent trip to Banff and WOW was it amazing! We've been coming to Banff for 10 years and I cannot believe this was the first time we tried it. Everything was so delicious from the karaage chicken to the lettuce wraps to the dumplings and even the dessert. We also got a side of the in house kimchi and it was 10/10. Our server was also wonderful and treated us so well! I would highly recommend block the next time you're in Banff, especially if you like tappas style food!

Food was very good! We had the bison burger, duck poutine and matcha cheesecake. Great service! Would definitely come back to try more of their dishes.

Initially came here to try out their duck poutine and curry ramen but unfortunately it was only available on their lunch menu and we came for dinner. Luckily the two dishes we got instead were really good. To fill our duck craving we got their duck spring rolls rich had the perfect crunch paired with an incredible dipping sauce that I’ve never had with spring rolls before. Extra points for the presentation! My girlfriend has never had bison before so we went with the smoked bison & pesto flat bread. We both enjoyed it and I think every ingredient on it was great and worked well together. If I’m ever back in Banff I’ll be sure to come back and try their lunch menu.

Nice small restaurant in the heart of downtown Banff. Very good food and friendly staff. Prices are a bit high but it’s worth. Food was delicious and portions were big.

Our server was one of the most attentive servers ever! Amy maybe? She was On top of it! Nice high-top outside on a beautiful afternoon. Had a bottle of the Montrose Rose ($58) paired with Three Dips & Nann ($14) that was a tasty treat and delicious! Hard to choose a favorite. Next were the Wagyu Beef Gyozas ($17) and the beef was so tender inside. Fantastic! Finished with a Vegan Bao ($8.75). Never had one before and jury is still out on the Bao but it was packed nicely and veggies were fresh and tasty. Make this a stop! You won't be sorry.

Had a fantastic meal at Block Kitchen! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I highly recommend the Bison flatbread- it was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere made the whole experience even better. Will definitely be coming back!

Stopped by without a reservation and the staff were able to accommodate us within a matter of minutes. The food was incredible. I have joked with friends that two of the best breakfasts spots happen to be in Banff, and this is one of them. The colors and tastes on the plate were beyond. This was an unexpected delight.

Had a wonderful dinner back in March and tried many items from the menu. Everyone really loved the brussels sprouts, carrots, and the risotto, but the meat was tremendous! Had a really fun waiter who also gave us a good wine recommendation. Fantastic spot for while you’re visiting.

Everything is expensive in the area, so I didn't deduct any points. The 5-star rating comes from fresh ingredients, great tasting food and good service. We ordered 2 kids classics, bison Benny, and duck leg. The portions are moderate, but they all taste amazing. I also noticed super heavy silverware, that usually is a good sign.

Came in here to eat lunch and it looked busy. I told the hostess I understand if she didn’t have anything available since they look busy. She gave me a look and said they aren’t busy. After waiting 15 minutes I got a table for two. The waitress was friendly however slow to fill drinks and take orders. When we got our food it was very good and unique! It is a slightly limited menu and I’d eat here again, just interesting how the tone was set. Not busy but was packed and service was slow. Had to ask for our tab too.

Brandon was our server and he was impeccable. He offered superb recommendations. I ordered the vegan mushroom wellington and my husband ordered the duck for dinner. Our meals were delicious. The flavor profile on both dishes will not leave you disappointed, we both were internally doing our happy food dance. The atmosphere of the restaurant was a laid back vibe with a modern elegant look. The lighting was perfect, not too dim and not too bright. The music was of course, the best era of music.. the 80's. If you're ever in Banff, this is definitely the place you need to visit.

The food is well prepared and quite tasty. The mains are meant for sharing so the portions are pretty big. I got the pork tenderloin and it was made to perfection. The apple chutney with the peppers was *chef’s kiss* sooo well paired with the pork . All the servers are kind and well versed in the menu items. Brandon is a gem .

Solid stop for a bite in the mountains! Dropped by Bill Peyto’s Cafe after a day of exploring and ordered the burger — nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Juicy, satisfying, and just what I needed after some fresh mountain air. The vibe is laid-back and cozy, perfect for travelers or campers passing through. Not the best burger I’ve ever had, but definitely a decent one, and I’d come back to try more from the menu. Great place for a chill meal in a beautiful setting!

We were looking for a quiet place to eat. This place was perfect. Service was fantastic!! Atmosphere was very quaint. We got the chili which was a huge serving it came with tortilla chips.Sorry we dug into the chili before I took the picture. We went back the next day for Hamburgers which was also huge and wonderful. We would highly recommend eating.

We’ve been to Bill Peyto‘s Cafe three times now – and every single time was just incredible! The food is absolutely delicious (see photos 😋), and the atmosphere is super cozy and welcoming. A huge shoutout to Mel, our waitress the last two nights. Sure, friendliness is part of the job – but she went above and beyond. She checked in regularly, was genuinely funny, totally on our vibe, and just made the whole evening so much fun. She really turned a great dinner into a perfect night. Five stars, no question about it! 👏✨

On our road trip through Jasper and Banff, we stopped in for gas and happened to this place driving by. Decided to go back and dine in. No regrets! Staff were very friendly, service was great and the good was delicious! We will be stopping for food here everytime we drive through.

We really enjoyed the place. Tom was an awesome bartender and super friendly. We ate at the rooftop bar and it has great views. Prices were about par for Banff. I loved the brisket sliders. We overlooked the entrance as its just some stairs, but once you get up there it's quite large inside. Rooftop bar is fairly large as well.

We went to the roof top. Amazing views. Ordered gluten free, dairy free poutine for my wife (to be)... It was amazing! She never gets gluten free or dairy free poutine and it was SO GOOD. I had the French Onion Soup. It was very good! My buddy has the bacon Mac and cheese, it was good, not amazing, but not bad. Overall very happy with the food and the views!

Glad we found their 3rd floor deck here as the evening view can be stellar for sure if the weather cooperates. Nice selection of beers, and very friendly helpful service. The bar grub is okay and definitely better than a lot of run of the meal pubs u might come across. Fair warning that the lamb burger, while tasty for sure had far more heat than anticipated, and I like spicy offerings but many might not want a 3 alarm fire that comes w this one. The bun was great and makes it a much better burger than a lot of other joints. I personally liked the butter chicken the best and the heat level was right on par. Wish we could have stayed for the band downstairs as it looked like a great room for a gig…maybe next time.

Randomly found this place while driving by looking for something quick, healthy, filling, and delicious. Family loved it! Several kid friendly options! The dishes we ordered: green curry, Mediterranean bowl, and Vegan burrito were all loaded with good quality, well-cooked vegetables. The service was amazing and they handled allergies extremely well! This is a must-visit!!!!

The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed — a nice spot for a late morning meal. Service was pleasant and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was just okay overall. Nothing particularly memorable or unique. One downside was the sourdough bread — it was really hard. Biting into it actually hurt my gums, which definitely took away from the experience. On the bright side, the drinks were quite good. Both the coffee and the hot chocolate were well made, flavorful, and comforting — probably the highlight of the meal. In summary, it’s an alright place if you’re not expecting too much. Great drinks, decent service, but the food (especially the bread) could use some improvement.

Great cafe that specializes in their own teas and lemonades. The food is fabulous. Their baked goods were delicious too. They have a friendly and very helpful staff as well. The seating is plentiful with a lot of outdoor seating. Great spot to recoup after a long day on the trails!

There were 3 of us adults and one child. We ordered a soup, wrap, Mediterranean bowl and a grilled cheese sandwich. All of them came with a side of spiced popcorn on a side. Tasted fresh and healthy. We didn’t eat popcorn, I wish they had different options for the taste. It was a little crowded and loud but we liked it overall.

Best vegan options to have for breakfast in the town. Vegan Burrito 🌯 Gluten-free wrap and Avocado 🥑 Side up and try London fog. Prices are average and the ambience of the cafe is happening too.

The salmon bagel was delicious. The bagel had a nice balance of softness and crispness, and the salmon filling was fresh. Paired with onions and cream sauce, it was incredibly tasty. The shop is quite small, and many takeout customers wait inside or stand by the counter looking at the menu on the board, which makes the space feel even busier and more crowded. I would love to visit again next time I’m in Banff.

After paying $80 for some wraps and salads I asked the staff about the food; the small salad container ($4.50 each) was half full, lettuce was old, the croutons were mush and the dressing tasted weird. He said “ok what do you want? A refund?” I said sure then I heard him tell his coworker that he’s giving us the $8 back because “he doesn’t want to deal with it”. I also asked him about the donair wrap because the description said garlic sauce but the sauce was extremely sweet he said “that’s how we make our sauce”. Overall vibe, price and quality of food was bad.

I guess the lack of nearby coffee shops makes this café a superstar. Cons: The latte was barely warm. It took 30 minutes from getting in line to receiving the order. They refused to serve pancakes at 9:59 😂 (even though the menu says they stop serving them at 10) Pros: The breakfast burrito was a good size and very filling.

Nice setup and move through customers quickly. Very busy Cafe Good food and coffee and loads of options. Nice seated area out the back and some indoor tables a drink wifi available. If sitting out near river do not feed the wildlife. I saw some people feed them and they came from everywhere and were all over the people who quickly packed up and left.

I have gluten and dairy dietary restrictions. They allowed me to order a custom Reuben on GF bread with no cheese. The cashier was extremely understanding and helpful. He said his partner has restrictions. I felt respected and enjoyed a delicious sandwich and green smoothie!

Stopped in to grab a sandwich, coffee, and cake . Although line was out the door the staff were polite, cheerful, and had amazing efficiency. Was I. And out in a little over 5 min Got the gobbler and it was excellent and amazingly flavourful, maple cake was so good too. Coffee was perfect

We had a great dining experience. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. The only downside was the service—it was a bit slow, especially toward the end of our meal. We waited quite a while after finishing and had to ask for the dessert menu. It might have been because it was close to closing time and there was a large group, but it did affect the overall experience. Hopefully, the service will be a little more attentive next time!

I had an amazing dining experience at Castello Italiana in Banff. The food was absolutely delicious, prepared with great attention to detail and authentic flavors. The dessert was simply exquisite—a perfect way to end the meal. The ambiance was very Italian, making the experience even more immersive, and the Italian music playing in the background was a great touch. What truly made the experience exceptional was the outstanding service; the staff was attentive, friendly, and ensured everything was perfect throughout our visit. Highly recommended!

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. We were very impressed that they had a separate halal menu, and the head chef came out to talk about it with us and he was very friendly. We got the Purple Haze mocktail, the ribeye, the lobster carbonara, and the crostada for dessert. 10/10! We will definitely be coming back!

Our experience was amazing from beginning to end. We started with the delicious calamari and bread service, followed by their standout signature dishes: the bone-in veal Parmesan and lobster carbonara. A special shoutout to Max for making our visit feel truly personalized.

If you are staying at Fairmont banff or just in the area head to Castellos Italian restaurant, Its perfect. Friendly staff, extremely clean fantastic atmosphere. Perfect menu. And good prices. Give it a try we will definitely go again.

a small restaurant in the fairmont hotel we are staying at, but the food was very good. i ordered the lobster carbonara and my mom ordered rockfish, i believe. the pasta was delectable although the lobster was a little dry. the rockfish was good too, but it was very spicy. it was my birthday and after ordering a dessert the waitress added it as complimentary on our bill, which we appreciated. i highly recommend!

We were staying at the Springs and one of our tour guides said he had just had dinner at Castello’s the night before and it was excellent. My three friends and I thought we would give it a try. Two of us had the lasagna and a Caesar salad. The lasagna was different then any other lasagna I had ever had, but it was delicious! White sauce, fresh pasta and the Italian sausage small meatballs made this dish come together very nicely. One of the ladies had the chicken cannoli which she indicated was very good. The last meal was egg plant Parmesan which missed the mark. The reason for my 3 stars was not the food but our server. He was very aloof and not very friendly. I was very disappointed when I looked at our bill the next day and realized the glass of wine he served me was $30! The wines by the glass that I asked about were $17, but he said he had something for me to try, never mentioning how expensive it was. I would have rather had a cheaper wine. I feel he could have been more transparent.

LOVED THEIR PIZZA! I suddenly had a craving for Italian pizza, and luckily, this place was just 2 minutes away from us. And oh my god... my high hopes (based on all the great reviews) were absolutely met! The pizza was delicious! You really can't compare it to the big chains (I know they’re not Italian) — this was on a whole different level. We devoured everything in minutes. We tried the Margherita, Signora Gaga, and Mamma. honestly, all of them were so good, I can’t even pick a favorite. Definitely coming back, and I’ll be recommending it to everyone! Oh and the lady at the counter was super nice and even gave us free cookies! I was too full to finish them, but thank you! She really was as lovely as everyone else has mentioned in the reviews. It’s actually been a while since I wrote a review this long, but this place really deserved it.

We finally made it to GAGA Pizzeria. Great pizza and really fun people. Their pizza is thinner crust with lots of unique flavours. We kept it simple with a pepperonis pizza. There are lots of great pizzas for the more grown up tastes. We also tried Balkan-Style Pie - Burek. Don’t let the photos fool you, their pizza is awesome. Sandwiches are also on the menu and really good. Prices are very reasonable.

Every time I visit the city I have to come here, and each time it exceeds expectations. They’re so welcoming, the pizza is to die for and the service is outstanding. I can’t say enough good things! Highly recommend

Amazing pizza and overall experience. We got the Stella Rossa Belgrado and it was the cleanest pizza we’ve ever had. The perfect mix of sweet and salty. The owner is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable while being honest in helping you decide what to get. Will definitely come back if we ever come back to Calgary.

This is only the first of many visits I will make here and foods I will eat. I feel lucky to eat this delicious food and be in this cozy space. These are real people making real food and it tastes delicious and feels great. I love the menu offerings and appreciate that there aren't mountains of selection for this ADHD brain. I've been coming here for a long time, I've always got the same thing, their GF wraps are so good, I usually get the chicken curry wrap. Note...skip the blondies they now taste old like the freezer, but the fresher baked good are always delicious. (The gf df blondies USED to be my fav treat) they have a great selection and always have gf df options. They make the food fresh so be prepared to wait a few mins for it. I'll always be back!

Honestly would not recommend 1) They care more about who uses their washrooms than the customers they’re literally talking to. In the middle of talking to the person at the till, she ran off to ask someone if they had bought something before using the washroom. 2) The additional price for gluten free is outrageous for the quality and amount of food you get. They tried to serve me burnt bread! I had to go get them to remake it. They obviously saw it was burnt and still tried to serve it. Even then the new bread was still over done in my opinion. Also the additional cost for gluten free, even though they use common grocery store findable bread (pretty sure it’s little northern bakehouse) is a money grab. The size of the gluten free item compared to the regular items is very tiny. Though they have gluten free, it’s not worth it at all. Maybe if they fix the issues they’re serving.

Edited: very defensive response from owner, zero stars would be more appropriate. The food was terrible and overpriced which is a bad combo: bland cheese and cracker plate, cheap soda crackers and should have had more quality items and the beet salad wasn’t inedible with poor flavour. It was quieter since it’s off the main strip but I won’t be returning.

First of all, cinnamon buns 5/5. They have, and will always be the best in Canmore! My wrap however was a bit underwhelming. The flavours were a bit bland..the eggs a bit soggy. My mom's chocolate chai was also bland. The coffee at the cafe was fairly dark roasted and the milk a bit burned. And the barista didn't really seem to enjoy her job that much.

I ordered the Sunrise wrap, and my wife ordered a similar wrap but asked for a gluten-free version since she has an allergy. My wrap came in a good portion, but hers was less than half the size of mine, even though she paid the same price plus an extra dollar for the gluten-free wrap. Nowhere did they warn us that the gluten-free option would come with so much less food. That feels really unfair to anyone who needs to eat gluten-free, especially since they’re being charged more. On top of that, we ordered an iced tea after finishing a hike on an 80-degree day. Instead of brewing it properly, they just gave us ice water with a tea bag floating in it. It tasted exactly like what it was, water with the faintest hint of tea. This place seriously needs to improve, especially in how it treats gluten-free customers. If you’re gluten-free, just be warned, you’ll be paying more for much less. Honestly, Communitea is much better, and I’d recommend going there instead.

Part of exploring Kananaskis Park and Banff National Park is getting up early to beat the crowds and get a good start to the day. Harvest Cafe is open fairly early and has a good selection of foods. There is a hold section on grilled wraps with a great selection. I had the Grilled Curry Chicken Wrap. Tasted really good and was filling. Added a Hot Chocolate to that as well. Today we just explored the trails around Canmore and decided to eat our food at the restuarant but we could have just as easily taken it to go. When we entered the restaurant there were menus at the door. You are expected to get a menu, select a seat, decide what you want and go to the counter to order it. Don't wait to be served.

I ordered Shakshuka, coz the name of the food caught my attention. Sounds fancy. I was actually craving for salad and eggs and bread but I didn’t know that its like a soup. Its just basically tomato soup with chickpeas and other ingredients. It’s good but I find it too much salty, maybe try to lessen adding salt coz the cheese is already salty. I was supposed to give 5 stars but the bread is a little dry after toasted. They should offer some butter or any jams like other OEB branch they do.(Bridgeland). The poached eggs are cooked perfectly.Service is fast and the ambiance is clean and cozy. I suggest you update your menu like putting some pictures so we know how the food looks like.

Our friends asked us to meet them here because they wanted us to experience the food, "the food is delicious". They weren't wrong. The wait wasn't long and the food was delicious! And our server was great as well. If you haven't tried it. Give it a try. It just might be your new spot for breakfast 😉

Food was good. Service was better. We were all cranky with arriving to the hotel at 2am and couldn't really sleep so came here as soon as it opened. Kids were just driving us crazy. My wife was a little short tempered. But the server treated us very kindly. Wife had the chasing chicken, kids shared the scrambled kids menu and I had the farmer John's. Food was pretty good. But what you'd expect from a brunch place. Prices were less than what I thought it would be. Definitely worth a try.

Had a very good brunch. I had the Classic Breakfast and my wife had the Chicken and Waffles. My meal was done perfect and I would recommend. My wife said her Chicken and waffles was a 12 out of 10. The server was excellent and very friendly.

Great breakfast place in downtown Calgary. At its peak times it can get very busy. The service is excellent and they have great selection of breakfast and brunch items. I had their Scrambelette Farmer John and mu wife had their French Toast. Overall both dishes were excellent, no complaints!

ORB is such a gem! Everything was so fresh and tasty — you can really tell they care about quality. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere is modern, cozy, and just the right vibe whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down to relax. Definitely recommend!

Good portion size and decent taste. I have it a 4 stars only because the tofu add on to my ramen had a weird taste like it’s spoiled or not fresh… I ordered the arashi signature ramen, and it’s VERY spicy, the broth especially. The service was great and attentive despite being so busy. There’s quite a bit of a wait time since it’s fully packed.

There was a line prior to coming but we were prepared for that. Easily worth the wait and the bad reviews sound like bad planning on the other reviewers part. I cant speak for any other items on their menu but I was looking for a Tonkotsu base ramen and their signature Arashi may have been the best ramen I've had to date. I eat quite a lot of tonkotsu ramen and this was very creamy and rich with lots of flavour. Portions were excellent. Staff were friendly and kind. Also Japanese staff working here as well so very authentic. Not sure why it took me so long to try the ramen here as I regularly visit Banff living in Calgary, but I'll always come here before I leave.

This is a really popular Ramen restaurant in Banff and located right on the Banff Avenue (2nd floor of the Sundance Mall). We ordered Seaweed salad, Arashi and Veg Miso Ramen. While the Arashi was really good, their veg miso ramen was not that tasty. If you are looking to have a veg Ramen, I won’t recommend this place. Otherwise, I would totally recommend it. The service is really good. If visiting at the peak times, you may have to wait in a queue.

Great small hole in the wall ramen shop. Don’t let the hole in the wall fool you. They are mighty in flavor. They have simple menu selection. Makes it easy to order. We ordered seafood ramen and their signature ramen. Both were delicious. We added extra toppings cause we were hungry. Their char siew for the ramen was very tasty. The restaurant has limited seating. They have a bench outside for folks waiting. Kitchen is by the entrance when you walk in and you can see their action.

Got recommended this place by two of my friends, so I had to come find out what the hype is about. We felt the popularity right away when there was a long line out the door looking like a 45 minute wait. They also had a sign saying they ran out of pork chashu unfortunately. With our stomachs rumbling we decided to do takeout instead and had our food in 20 minutes. We got an Arashi & Tonkotsu ramen with karaage and they were both INCREDIBLE. My girlfriend is usually a pretty slow eater but she was crushing her bowl (although we were also really hungry so that probably played a factor as well haha) I would say Toronto definitely has comparable ramen to this place but this was an S tier bowl of ramen.

Food .. 1000 Service.. 1000 Atmosphere...authentic If you love ramen or just barely like it...YOU need to RUN to Ramen Arashi. The lovers of ramen will want to live next door to this place, the non lovers will change their minds and become absolute fans of ramen. If there is a line..WAIT, you will not be disappointed. We stood in line with 3 people ahead of us and only waited 15-20 minutes. We were only in Banff for 4 nights and we ate here twice, it would have been 4 times but we didn't come across this quaint little restaurant until our 3rd night. My husband got the Spicy Tonkatsu and the miso tonkatsu. I got the veggie tantan both nights. Again...YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE.

We had dinner at Ramen Arashi in Banff and were blown away by how good the food was—easily some of the best ramen I’ve had in a long time. During our meal, there was a minor accident, but the way the staff and management handled it was truly impressive. They addressed it immediately, offered fair compensation, and showed a level of professionalism that deserves recognition. Great food, great service, and a team that genuinely cares. Highly recommend if you're in Banff and craving quality ramen.

Food was decent. Fellow working the counter today really doesn’t like his job. We were the only ones there at 11:15am. First time there. Two single burgers and shared a large fry (we got a small but only charged for that also). No drink. $30. And I did tip on top of that. Once we sat down there was a special: double burger w fry and drink for $15. That would have been better value. Would have been nice for him to mention that. Server asked if we wanted sauces for the fries. I assumed that was like a fancy aioli or something so said no. Once the food came asked for ketchup - apparently that is extra. Nice. No check on how the food tasted (sat right at the counter) nor a goodbye. Once pleasant gal said goodbye from the back.

The burgers were delicious. Only the lady at the cash register was not friendly. I think it was because of tiredness since we came 1 hour before closing time. The employees here are generally very polite and friendly people. I like coming here.

Place looks high quality but serves something akin to cafeteria food. Fries are well seasoned but they are frozen so the bar is quite low. If they're fresh... then the bar is sitting on the ground. See image for my complaint about onions. Incredibly the beef was overpowered by the flavour of the mayonnaise. Bun was above par. If I were Clive I wouldn't want my name associated with this food.

Outrageously bad chicken sandwich. I’ve never seen anything like it. Looks like tuna. Smells worse. I wish I’d taken a bite before i got back to my office. Ate it anyway as it was the only thing i had at that point. Worst $13 i ever spent.

Best burger I had in Calgary so far! Glad I went in today for lunch. The team was super polite and friendly, I recommend getting a vanilla custard shake! Absolutely phenomenal especially on hot days like today! The burger was super juicy and cooked perfectly, the bun was fresh and everything was super delicious! Will be back for sure!

In town on our cross-Canadia road trip. Headed into High Rollers for some bowling and beers. Such a blast. Good drinks and our server (aka "Winnipeg") was personable and on top of things. Great dude. Oh, and they have great OG video game options. Best to book bowling in advance. Recommend.

My partner and I came for dinner and bowling last Friday night. I didn’t get out waitresses name but she was absolutely lovely and she looked after us from dinner over to our bowling. Great food, definitely a loud environment but that’s to be expected. Definitely want to return when we come back! :)

Gave it a 4 because it’s not a place to come if you take bowling seriously. It’s a super fun place to party, dance, drink, play games, but if you’re a bowler this isn’t the place to come if you’re used to curving the ball and going for high scores. The pins are attached to strings. The ball return ramp is too close to the lane, and the lanes probably haven’t had a machine move over them in years. This is a great place to party, get drunk and have a good time but if you come here to specifically bowl then this isn’t the pace for you.

Pretty good hot dogs. Sweet potato fries absolutely delicious. Hot and fresh! And seating outside was perfect with the views of the mountains.

We ordered the local smokie with a gluten-free bun, and the bun was outstanding! I didn’t expect a gluten-free bun to be so chewy yet easy to eat. The meat was juicy, and all the toppings were fresh. The portion size was great. The raspberry lemonade was delicious and not overly sweet. We also had sweet potato fries with curry ketchup for dipping. I would have appreciated it if the fries were crispier and the sauce less salty. Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit!

Best bang for your buck in Waterton! If you are here on a budget, this is definitely the best place to grab a bite. The menu is not big, but the hotdogs and the lemonade was just amazing! There's a bit of a line everytime, but the staff was able to get the orders fast.

Ate lunch at Wieners of Waterton on August 28, 2025. They have one veggie hot dog option called the Anti-Dog and they also have a gluten free bun! The dog is made of falafel and had hummus and tahini. I added pickled red onions and dill pickle. I also ordered the regular fries with spicy mayo. This was my favourite restaurant meal in Waterton! Everything tasted AMAZING and the falafel dog was so unique. I also loved their vanilla and red rooibos kombucha (Steep Peak - made locally in Crowsnest Pass). There is outdoor seating at picnic tables beside the restaurant. Would definitely eat here again!

(My parents actually went in to order, so i don’t know what it’s like on the inside!) The hotdog that i got was the Nathan 1/4 something dog and it was SO YUMMY! There was a really good amount of veggies, that were coated in this delicious sour, tangy and refreshing coleslaw sauce that paired amazingly with the sweet and savoury hot dog! there was also a pickle and it was so yummy too! the fries in my opinion were SO SALTY they could give you liver failure 😭 but other than that; i loved my meal! would recommend if you stop by waterton

We got fries , were fresh and delicious. They were closing but served us with friendly face and with smile . Have different kind of local meat dogs .

I quite enjoyed the tail. It was a nice dessert that didn't overpower me being too sweet. From what I could see the tails are premade and they get deepfried right before being served. That way they are ready super fast and can be served being still very warm. I opted for the classic + lemon as most of the other variants felt too much covered in toppings to be able to tell the taste of the dough, which instead had made me curious. I like that the lemon come on the side, so one can decide how much juice to squeeze. If you are familiar with Italian "frittella,", the tails taste very much like that but they have more bite.

Located on downt,place is a little messy. There is no seats and is very confused. The pastry is ok, but just to try once. Too much sweety.

WOW! First time trying and my husband and I fell in love with each bite! The Asian girl that helped us was exceptional! Very patient and friendly…answered all our questions and was very welcoming. We got (2) beaver tails (apple pie and pistachio) and a pistachio hot chocolate. The desserts were so tasty not overly sweet. The pistachio hot chocolate was good, but the pistachio flavor was very mild. We actually came back the same day and tried the banana hazelnut beaver tail after dinner with a marshmallow hot chocolate. The hazelnut needed a little more glazing on the edges of the dough but was still tasty. The hot chocolate was even tastier this time perhaps with the added marshmallows. We were smart and went to this location instead of the other location closer to Starbucks which was packed. Not sure why this particular location was not busy at all. This is a MUST TRY for anyone craving a sweet treat! Very affordable as well.

Can't forget the 2 nice BT staff Cristal and Claudine, both have such a warm and friendly presence, quick service and genuine smile make the whole experience so much better. Tried BeaverTails and it was just okay for me. The pistachio flavor was good, but I was hoping for a bit more depth and richness. It felt like something was missing 😇 maybe more topping or stronger flavor? Still fun to try, but not something id rush back for.

Great place for getting dessert. It’s fried dough with various toppings. I loved the one with pistachio. There are typically long lines during busy season. Enjoy!

The beavertail was fresh and the toppings were perfect portions. This location doesnt have any indoor seating and only one table outside.

The food was fresh and tasty, but service was quite slow, staff took a long time to take our order, which made the wait feel longer than expected. Unfortunately, the fry machine was also out of order during our visit, so we couldn’t try them. Overall, they do have a nice selection of pastries, which is a plus.

I really loved their Ice Latte and their Chocolate Twist! The staff were really friendly as well. Service was quick!

I’m eating this smoked salmon bagel right now and it’s probably the worst smoked salmon bagel I’ve had in my life! What have they done to my poor baby!!? They serve a cold deconstructed (build it yourself) version in shrink wrap. Sad. Thank you for your attention to this matter. The service was great, so it’s got that going for it which is nice.

This is an incredible bakery that I stop in every time I pass by Lake Louise. I always grab a breakfast sandwich- even their buns are homemade- soft, so fresh and so so delicious. I also always grab a bakery item- they have a huge selection, especially if you come early in the morning. Everything is baked in house. I love the hazelnut bars. So nice to go eat down by the river surrounded by gorgeous mountain views. This is generally a busy place, so be prepared for a line up, especially during peak season.

The food is pretty good, not great. Likewise for the atmosphere and service, but what you get here is good value in an area with otherwise astronomical pricing. Here’s a local knowledge tip - all hot food is discounted at 30% off for the last hour before closing. If you are hiking/climbing in the Lake Louise area and on a budget, make this good deal on food a part of your daily routine.

While the bakery was busy, they have a great process / approach to helping the customers so you do not feel like you're standing in line forever. One staff helped by handling bakery orders while the staff at the cash register handled the drink orders. Very professional and drink orders were filled quickly, and they were awesome! Baked goods were likewise amazing!!

We ordered a meat pie each and the quality was consistently bad in our opinion. Flakey floury pastry - good thing they included a fork as you couldn't lift it out of the foill tray. Both had largish chunks of meat that were far from tender and some pieces with gristle. Gravy thin and more suited to chicken than beef pie. Shop looked nice and other food may be OK however I would not recomed the pies.

Cozy, retro diner vibes and a solid spot for breakfast. The breakfast skillet was hearty and cheesy with lots of toppings, and the toast came out just right. Service was fast and friendly, and while the atmosphere isn’t fancy, it’s got that classic charm that works. Worth a stop if you’re hungry in Jasper and want a comforting, no-fuss meal to start your day.

We stopped here when the Taco Burger caught our eye after trying to find somewhere that had a dog friendly patio on the fly. Ended up with the bulgogi pizza and the poutine burger! The meat of the burger was wonderful but I definitely would want to try the spicy taco burger next time instead. I was worried there would be too much gravy but luckily that wasn't the case. The pizza was wonderful. It was a sweet sauce base with delicious peppers and onions on top and a great tasting mozza. The crust was very homey and lovely. Was very happy overall with the price as it seemed reasonable for Jasper and was very filling. Yum! Only feedback would be that the little lights in the outdoor space were a bit too flashy, so they were distracting lol but that's all.

Long alley style restaurant with cozy outdoor lighted seating area as well. Pizza crusts look pre-made but were surprisingly crispy and chewy. I wasn't a fan of the sausage. I'm used to crumbled ground sausage and it was more of a thin sliced kielbasa. I was really disappointed in the 3 cheese poutine. Fries were greasy and barely lukewarm and the curds were ice cold. The gravy wasn't hot enough to heat either of them correctly. Our waitress had a bit of trouble communicating with us - her first language seemed to be French.

Cute diner style pizza place. Great service, very friendly and the food came out super fast. This is a lovely town to stroll around and take in the scenery… highly recommended if you’re in the area.

Great little greasy spoon diner in Jasper. Family had breakfast, donair and a couple burgers, all were great. Burgers are all doubles by the looks of it, great taste and lots of toppings. Prices are comparable to most other stuff here, cheaper than the Smitty’s a block away and way more character. Waiter guy was super nice to my kids and very attentive. He even brought my wife a frosted glass for her beer. We didn’t have the pizza but it looks amazing. We are making this our go-to restaurant when we come here. Highly recommended!!

I had the Bulgogi cheesesteak and it might be the best sandwich I’ve ever had. From the lightly buttered and toasted hoagie bun, to the thin and delicious bulgogi meat.. the seances and cheese…. It was like a Big Mac and a Philly cheesesteak had a baby that was way ahead of either of those in taste and flavor and delicacy. Sooooo good.

If you're in Jasper and craving a mouthwatering pizza, there's a place you absolutely must visit. I had the pleasure of trying their fully-loaded pizza, and it was nothing short of amazing. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were fresh and generous, offering a delightful mix of flavors in every bite. The pizza was baked to perfection, with just the right balance of cheese and sauce. Not only was the food fantastic, but the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was friendly and efficient. Stopped by North Face Pizza in Jasper and it did not disappoint. We sat outside to soak in the fresh mountain air and stunning views—definitely the right call. The pizza was delicious, with a great crust and generous toppings. Service was quick and friendly, and it’s in a perfect spot for a casual bite after a day of hiking or exploring the town. There weren't many Pizza places open in Jasper when we came through and this one seemed to have some of the better ratings, but we weren't excited about it. We ordered a couple of pizzas. The largest you can get is 12 inches. We also had declined an order of cheese bread but for whatever reason they made it and charged us for it ($20), he offered to refund it, but I felt bad since they had already made the bread. So he offered us a couple of free sodas. We ate half of each of the 2 pizzas we ordered, which were again only 12 inches in diameter. They were mediocre at best. Definitely not a place I would return and order from again. The service was good, but food. Was definitely not to my liking.

When we came it was not busy, there was no one in the restaurant. We ordered a large loaded pizza to go. The pizza took about 15 minutes to make which is pretty standard. The pizza looked ok when we got it, although it probably could have been baked longer to get the cheese more toasted. Taste wise it's ok, nothing life changing especially considering the price. But what really bothered us is the bottom of the pizza was really soggy. The crust was crispy but near the middle (and anywhere in the 2nd picture) you can see there is a lot of water for some reason. Probably the toppings were not properly drained of water before putting them on the pizza. As a result a majority of your slice will be soggy, only the crust was dry. The soggy texture was really off putting. Overall, I wouldn't come again.

Simply the BEST pizza in the province. I always make it a point to stop by whenever I stay or pass by town. Great prices and very friendly staff as well! Jasper the Bear is my go to :)

I had the poutine with meat sauce and BBQ chicken pizza. They were amazing so I came back the day after for poutine with cheese curds and a burger!

It's our first time in this diner and it's out new fave place now. We are definitely going back for other food option. We had their roast beef and it's so good. We also had caramel banana French toast and oh gosh they are so good. The service is also great. Thumbs up.

Went for breakfast with a group of us and a little child. Riley was absolutely amazing! I can’t say enough good stuff about him. He took the time with us and was so sweet to my son. The place was amazing, reminds me of a little hole in the wall greasy spoon place. Food was okay, I wouldn’t order the breakfast yorkies again tho. But the big bowl of fruit I got after that was amazing! Riley was so good about the fact I didn’t like my meal, he was so apologetic about it, I felt horrible about it but he made me feel so good about it. I would definitely come here again, especially for the service. Every time I come back for breakfast I’d love to have Riley as my server!

Rockin Robyn’s (Robyn with a Y). I’ve been here before, and today was just as good as I remembered. Had a burger—tall, properly prepared. Fries looked crispy but ended up limp. Service was good, coffees kept filled, and the place was busy. What can you say? Take a look at the burger. They’re always busy for a reason. We’ll be back—don’t know when, but we’ll be back.

On our travels, we’ve noticed that every town/city across North America seems to have their ‘go to’ local diner. Rockin’ Robyn appears to be the esteemed institution here in Edmonton. On a hot summer’s day, it was a shelter from the dry heat as our skin acclimatised to the cool indoor atmosphere upon entry, and our eyes adjusted to the darker yet colourful neon lit interior with walls full of memorabilia. Locals populate these tables and were friendly in conversation. The lady sitting next to us on the counter wistfully recounted the many meals she and her extended family have had here over the years. We were served by a charismatic gentleman who made sure we felt equally as welcome as everyone else. As for the food, it’s exactly as expected: huge, generous servings of warm comfort food, paired with thick and creamy milkshakes. We stumbled out of the diner, not because we were drunk, but because we were incredibly replenished. Great experience!

Came here for Easter brunch! Everything was awesome the food was great and huge portions. Ordered the hulk smash meal which was two huge plates. This place gets really busy so there's always a lineup. We waited about 25 minutes for a group of four people to get in. Service was great. Pretty cool little atmosphere it reminds me of like the old Johnny Rockets style diner. Parking can be a little bit tricky but I've never been able to find a spot.

Rockin’ Robins is a classic dinner, simple good food and old school decor. Our waitress was kind, helpful and patient. It gets really busy but worth the wait!

We came here for breakfast. I had been eating eggs, pancakes, french toast, bacon etc. for breakfast this whole trip. So I was craving something a little different. The Mango Pineapple Oats did not disappoint. Just really solid on flavours. Just to get some protein though I did order a side of ham. Everyone in the group enjoyed their food as well. The Raspberry Lemonade French Toast and Breakfast Tacos. If you are in Edmonton it's definitely worth try. It's not a huge dining room, so I wouldn't leave breakfast too late.

So stopped for a bite. The service was amazing. The mozzarella burger was pretty good. I also ordered the chili and corn fritters. There is no corn in them. Maybe that's the was they are made but was disappointed. The chili as you can see was tiny and not full. I couldn't believe they charge $5.99 for it. The chili itself was ok. Would go again just not for the corn fritters or chili.

So yummy! Got a full poutine and the Spruce Burger and was very satisfied. Will definitely be back!

Honesty I remembered it being better? I'm not sure if they changed their patties or something but it has been years since I tried Jacks and I went back the other day to give it a go. I was super underwhelmed by my burger. Tasted like a superstore frozen patty but bland... Didn't even fit the bun... I'd love to go back for the corn fritters but either way, just wasn't what I remembered I guess.

We stopped by because we heard it was delicious! 😋Mozzarella burger, Jack’s special burger, and the corn fritters were really delicious! 👍👍We could enjoy a happy lunch!

7 years ago I gave this place a 5 star review today not so much the only good thing was my milkshake. My son said McDonald's milkshakes were better than his was. We each had the Spruce burger and they were very bland tasting. He had the fries which tasted like under cooked frozen grocery store fries and my corn fritters had very little corn compared to what they used to have. For $45 we should have gone to a sit down restaurant with service I was extremely disappointed as I remembered it being very good

We stopped for icw cream and burgers. I was told that I had to eat mt ice cream before the burger. Didn't have much choice it was pretty hot out that day, Jack's has the best soft ice cream that I had and that mushroom burger was delicious as well. Thanks Jack's!

Got 2 pizzas from this place for 30 Dollars pretty good price, but the pizza was honestly the same quality as the supermarket. Everything tastes like it had been frozen for weeks or months, you can tell that they use frozen products instead of fresh ones. the service was good quick in and out no waits. overall not a horrible experience but definitely not a great one mediocre pizza, if your hungry it’s definitely still edible though

I was really surprised by how tasty the wings were here. There's no skimping out on measly tiny wings you get at other places. They are pretty meaty and you get a proper full serving of food here. The flavours were really on point as well. Great halal option in Canmore. I'm looking to coming back during future trips.

We got the honey garlic wings and the bbq pizza. They gave us complimentary bbq wings too which was so nice. We decided to add the dipping sauce after and they gave that on the house too which was so sweet. The food was so fresh and amazing. Will definitely visit again and try other items. Thankyou

Fantastic! Third time back! Delicious pizza and a great deal for an unlimited toppings pizza that is well made and tastes so good. They don't skimp on the toppings. At first we thought they forgot the pepperoni but they layered it at the bottom and had a ton of it covering the entire surface as shown in the picture. They have a great online ordering system and also allow half and half pizzas. Wish I had one of these close to me. Won't hesitate to get this again. TIP: liquor store is right next door so easy to get some local beer to go with your pizza

Today, I went out for pizza with my family, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences we've had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit.

I've been here 3-5 times until today. Always satisfied because quality of food, reasonable price except today. I always order lil sandwich set with garlic soy sauce and fries. Firstly, it was come with big box, but changed half size of box. Last my visit here was one month ago, I don't know, they might be changed it. Next, I really like crispy chicken but it was saggy and 1/3 part crispy chicken skin was missing. Almost half of fries over cooked, so it was dark brown color and hard as rock, I couldn't eat it.🥲🥲 I don't know it's because of tip problem or not. I'm not the person, who put the review every dishes so when I was eating sandwich I just didn't think much about this but after saw this fries I think I need to mention about this.

This place is fantastic! the spicy Chipotle BBQ sauce is what dreams are made of. The kale Cesar salad is a must everytime and I had the jalapeño fritter (didn't make it home for the pic 🤣) which i will order everytime I'm there from now on. The only thing I would suggest with all the new sauces is to have a smaller sample pack of 4-5 sauces so we can try more. That may just be me wanting to try all the new ones. All in all, it's the only place I buy fried chicken in the city now

Great little SFC location with some parking outside. Ordered the Big Seoul box set for take out. The Corn Jalapeño fritter was very good. It was big and did not taste oily. However, pesto macaroni was a bit bland albeit plentiful. It needed a bit of salt or seasoning. It was filling though. The Garlic Soy chicken was crispy and moist. It had large pieces which is always nice. Only wish that they had some sauce in a little cup for take out orders as the sauce comes off the chicken and sticks to the wax paper when transported. The sauce is really what makes it Korean style fried chicken. Also, food came out pretty quickly after ordering. Overall, SFC is always a great and pretty consistent spot for fried chicken takeout.

It’s not a sit down place because there’s not much place to sit, but it’s really delicious and the chicken is clean (no oily taste signifying clean oil). Their fries are also delicious. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area. 7.3/10 - drive 10-20 minutes to try

We went to SFC Seoul Fried Chicken for dinner and ordered from the Individual Box Sets menu. We got the Big Seoul Set (4pcs) and chose Garlic Soy (heat tossed ) from the SFC Signature House Flavours. The set comes with Drumstick, Thigh, Wing and a Tender piece. The fried chicken was evenly tossed and throughly coated with the delicious sauce. We also chose Sweet Butter Cukes, Banana Corn Fritter and Ginger Ale that comes with the set. We sat outside on the bench to enjoy our meal. Everything tasted so delicious … the chicken was juicy and tender, the meat was moist and bursting with flavour! Yummylicious!

The portion of this dish is really amazing! I ate four meals by myself. Every bite is full of delicious food. The aroma of soy sauce and garlic is perfectly integrated. The taste is rich and unbalanced, and the aftertaste is endless.

I came in today with picture that my take out order last week was short. I was given tiny chicken strips counting as tenders. Today the person at the till gave no resolution and told me they wouldn't consider it because they couldn't verify it with the person working that day....yet I took pictures. She even had to correct the person today, so obviously it's an issue. I come here often and that disregard and accusation that I was lying was unexcusable. They could have taken the information, date, followed up with the person on shift that day and offered some sort of resolution.
