The food was pretty good the options great too of the different types of seafood. The service was good too, the guy preparing was cool, cashier a little short with the friendliness. However the taste wasn’t worth the cost and quantity in my opinion. Glad I ate where one of my heroes ate at but that is where it ends. Once is enough.

Street vendor with a bunch of unique tostada such as ones with uni into the mix. Saw a video on this place by Anthony Bourdain, and it was close by the cruise port so it was a goal to try it out. The ceviche was my favorite! The shrimp was so plump and tasted so fresh. For a street vendor in Mexico, it seems kind of pricey, but I didn't have pesos so I was charged $40-$50 for 3 tostada, shrimp ceviche and two watermelon juices. Is that considered pricey. I'm not sure..... The portion sizes were decent.

There was a long waitlist (about 40min and we didn’t have the time for that as this was a few hour stop for our cruise). We were able to order to go and just ate outside. However when you do to go - they put everything on the side instead of inside the taco shell which was a little annoying since I was eating it right then. You can also get drinks to go. Strawberry marg 10/10 - they put taijin on the rim or something similar. Fish taco 8/10 Shrimp taco 10/10

Famous little ceviche cart! The owner has won multiple awards and was given a shoutout by Anthony Bourdain himself.

We came here on a tour so I only was able to sample one tostada. It was a mixed seafood tostada, and was the best tostada I’ve ever had. Anthony Bourdain discovered this restaurant many years ago and was so enthusiastic about the owner that he sponsored her in a world taco competition which she won. After sampling one tostada now we know why. It is a must try experience in Ensenada.

My friends and I visited this spot during our port day in Ensenada, and it was the highlight of our trip. We were craving mariscos and had heard rave reviews about this street cart. Let me tell you—it did not disappoint. In fact, it far exceeded our expectations, serving the best ceviche tostadas we’ve ever tasted. At just $9 per tostada, they were generously loaded with incredibly fresh seafood and bold, vibrant flavors. It was so fresh, we even watched the clams being shucked right in front of us! My husband and I tried the (#2) cebiche de erizo con almeja, (#4) campechana, and (#6) almeja con pata de mula, and every bite was perfection. The condiments were impressive too. They had an lineup of hot sauces ranging from mild to fiery, along with saltines that paired beautifully with the spice and acidity of the seafood. We would have happily ordered more, but we were pacing ourselves for a food tour around town. Even my friend, who typically doesn’t enjoy ceviche, rated it a 10/10.

A sincerly nice joint for a great bite of seafood. It's lovely food, made with love, with fresh in-house made salsas and agua frescas. I will say due to its popularity and the small size of the actual resteraunt, it *does* get super crowded at peak eating times. But what sets this place apart from other wonderful eateries? Veronica. She's almost always the cashier you speak to at the register to order your meal, and she's a literal angel. She's sweet, kind, and sp patient. She'll call you "sweetie" or "mija/mijo" and she means it. She's happy to tell you all about the menu items, and never skimps on twlling you how *she* likes it (spoiler alert: she's always right, imho). So come to Oscar's for the amazing mariscos (the fisherman's torta is INSANE) but stay for mama Veronica, because she's the heart and soul of this place. ❤️

Oscar’s is easily one of my favorite spots for Mexican seafood in San Diego. The fish tacos are next-level—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Our favorites are the especial, octopus, battered shrimp, and grilled spicy shrimp taco. Don't forget to use their freshly made sauces in the fridge along with an assortment of other hot sauces. Their fish stew is also surprisingly fresh and savory. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the casual vibe makes it the perfect stop whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or hanging with friends. This location has inside seating and easier parking since it's located in a strip mall. A must stop it you're in the SD area.

Great service. Was given a cup of their seafood stew while we were deciding on what to order. Very hearty seafood stew with a chicken base. The taco especial was particularly great. Surf n tuf, which is usually my go to at taco shops was a little disappointing. I guess it goes to say that they are a seafood establishment and each and every seafood-based dish was fantastic

Great casual Mexican seafood spot. Authentic. Set up is great for take out, but enough tables for around 20. They offered fish soup samples, which had excellent broth and plenty of meat and vegetables. The grilled octopus taco was balanced and substantial. Others in our party enjoyed fried fish and smoked fish tacos.

Best seafood tacos I ever had outside of Mexico. Staff members were very kind courteous and generous. Go straight for the shrimp or fish or shrimp+fish tacos. Don’t bother with the ceviche, taco was far better. And the horchata drink! That was amazing!

The octopus taco was perfectly cooked and the tuna ceviche was fresh. Update: Revisited and tried the fish/shrimp ceviche. It was zesty and fresh. The only knock is that they didn’t include the extra tostada, but charged me for it

This was the first place I ate at after arriving in San Diego for the first time. The lady behind the counter was so sweet and helpful, as were the other members of the staff. The torta I had didn't hold back in size and taste, and every scoop of the shrimp cerviche was packed with flavour and zest.

Visited Thursday, July 24 – Monte Xanic is a must for wine lovers! We did the Aromas and Flavors experience, which included a beautiful tour of the winery, a fun tasting game where we guessed ingredients by taste and smell, and a delicious cheese board to pair with the wines. The experience was playful, relaxing, and set against the backdrop of stunning vineyard views. Sip local. Support local.

I never would have imagine a winery like this in the middle of the Mexican dessert. This place has everything and I would dare to say is at par or better than most Napa/Sonoma wineries. The views, the service, the wine, the attention to details, the different games to make the tasting experience better, the tapas, the knowledge of the people, all made for an elevated experience surpassing the best wineries in other regions. We went with the blind wine tasting and the personnel made the whole thing super interesting, fun and educative. I have never seen this in other wineries. And we learned that the winery has other experiences depending on your group. The wine was superb. Their reserve was our favorite. While not cheap, compared to others, it was completely worth it. This is one of those places to visit when visiting Valle.

Loved the winery. It's a beautiful property and our guide Abril was great. You do need a reservation though. Tried to come here a year ago and was turned away at the gate. This time we had a reservation and tried some very good to great wines, for a tour of the winery, and were able to enjoy time just hanging out there. At the end they let us keep our wine glasses. The Gran Ricardo wine has some hype to it; tried it and it is worth it. Ended up taking a bottle home.

They were able to seat us on the lake, which was amazing. Super refreshing and relaxing. their Sauvignon Blanc was delicious and service was great.

We got there having no reservations. We were allowed to the lower side of the winery, next to the lake- which is great too! It’s quiet, relaxing, the wines are great. Try the cabernet with the bread options. You will love it here!

What an incredible place. Monte Xanic was our favorite winery we visited in the area by far. Not only was the wine superb, and the views stunning, but our tour guide / wine tasting “guru” -Sara, really knew her stuff. She truly knew how to describe wine in a way that made us want to buy all of the bottles in the winery. The wine in an of itself though tasted delicious all the way down the line (I think we tried all of the ones on the tasting menu, plus the ones they served by the glass - ha!!) it’s also really cool to note that this winery was truly started by Mexicans for Mexicans which made it feel like a truly “Mexican wine” experience which I think is what we wanted to go for when we came to the area. We highly recommend this winery and we will definitely be back. Thanks Sara for being the perfect guide! Next time we come back, I hope you’re managing the place!! 😊

Would go back here and would recommend to friends/family! Beautiful view, nice tour and good wines. Reservation required and it does have EV chargers in the parking lot.

I’m honestly very surprised at this restaurant! The food is really good! The drinks are very yummy and they have a little bit of everything if you’re into sweet drinks or more bitter, you will be able to find something on the menu. The place is really big and spacious. It gets very very hot in there though 😓 so if you run hot make sure to bring layers.

Beers were great. The food was good as well. We had the burger and salmon. Our service was amazing as well. The only thing I woild say is it looked more like a restaurant then a brewery. But I didn't give them less stars for that. We arrived around 530 and didn't have to wait for a table. We were seated immediately

A high quality brewery serving excellent beers. Large range of beer styles in tap with a focus on IPAs. Beers to go in cans and crowlers. The usual swag for sale, plenty of seating indoor and outdoor, bar seating is limited. Parking can be an issue, friendly fast service.

We dropped in for a quick lunch with Grandchildren and their parents. Our server was “Abby” and she was very personable, providing us with a nice dining experience with a matching atmosphere.

Been here a few times. Everytime we've dined, it's ALWAYS been great! Great service. Clean facilities. The waitresses are really knowledgeable about all the choices to eat & drink. We enjoyed it! Highly recommend. We had the Seared Ahi Tacos and burgers. 👏👍

Our group from work met here to celebrate a retirement (from the Navy) and promotion to another military base. Large group but service was friendly, courteous and on point. I ordered the Islander Ahi Poke and a Cool Beans Coffee Stout to wash it down. Perfect combination for a "lite" lunch.

When we arrived there was no parking. We had to park down the street. There was a line outside of the restaurant. You wait in line to order, and then you can sit down. I liked that you couldn’t sit without a number. We ordered the crab cakes and that was probably our favorite item from dinner. My husband ordered the sea bass sandwich. The fish was sparse for such a big sandwich we made just one sandwich with it. There wasn’t really anything amazing about the flavor and the fish was rather dry. I ordered the cheeseburger and there wasn’t no flavor. Luckily I added bacon because that added some flavor.

Food was okay but most was kind of greasy. Service was fast as can be expected considering how crowded it was. They have a decent selection of food and drinks. Seating is very limited. Overall, I don't think it's worth returning to eat there unless w can find a time that isn't as busy. Mostly due the restaurant size not being able to handle the crowds. That issue alone makes it overrated. They seem to be a victim of their own success. There's both and table seating as well as inside and outside bar style seating. The location is okay if you're into looking at a marina. Parking was atrocious.

My mom amd I decided to come try Mitch's. The Spiney Lobster was very good. Mom had the Fried Combo. She was not really liking the Crab Cake (we are from the East Coast and she is a snob about Blue Crab Lump Crab Cakes). We were told that the fish was cooked with a Panko Crust not Beer Batter. However, she LOVED the shrimp!! And apparently, so do the seagulls! Hahaha! We were seated outside facing the Harbor and 2 swooped down and 1 grabbed the shrimp right out of mom's hand! She smacked it! But he got away with the goods! LOL! One of the guys that worked there saw what happened and brought over the stickers along with a replacement shrimp (which was super nice of them). We will be back!! The staff was awesome, kind and attentive! I recommend!

One of the only places I’ll go to for seafood! Everything is fresh, and it’s all reasonably priced. This is the place to go if you just want good seafood and a serene view without the frills of an overpriced dine-in experience. If you sit on the deck, be prepared to defend your plate. Seagulls are ruthless but the view is so relaxing and I promise your food won’t last long on your plate anyway. I love the grilled shrimp skewers and I never leave without one kind of fish taco and a golden fried fillet. Fry basket shrimp are yuge. Also Matt who works there is rad!

Casual spot with good quality and nice views. - Crab cakes 5/5 - these really stood out and were perfectly cooked - Fish tacos (grilled and fried) 4/5 - these were great but don’t necessarily stand out in San Diego. - Calamari 3/5 - lacked seasoning and didn’t care for the dipping sauce but was of good quality - Grilled rockfish 3/5 - cooked nicely and was high quality but also lacked seasoning and the herb verde was lackluster. Coleslaw was nice however.

Omg outstanding location soak up the fresh seabreeze excellent ambiance and hands down super tasty delicious food. And reasonable price. Make sure to try there superb flavorful chowder and grilled lobsters with corn Loved it and absolutely recommend it. Clean and Friendly kind staff

For that evening I loved everything about it! Food, service, and atmosphere. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 is because the seating could be a little more comfortable.... and there should be heatlamps since seating is extremely limited except on the patio overlooking the marina.

I’ve been eating at Hodad’s for years, whenever I visit San Diego. I still believe that this is the best burger you can get in SD. You can taste the freshness and tenderness in the beef and vegetables to a whole other level. The atmosphere can be polarizing but I’m a huge fan of the plastered stickers and license plates everywhere. The service every time has been wonderful, too. It’s a great spot. That being said… they are just getting way too expensive. $21 for a double burger with no sides or a drink, is a bit much. There is a service charge of 3%, but then you are also expected to leave a tip. I don’t get that part at all. I get that these days prices are high, but so is the competition, and for $20+ my burger should at least have a side order and a small soft drink. I don’t remember them being this expensive in the past. Overall, amazing food and great service/atmosphere, so they deserve the 5 stars, but the menu prices and additional service fees are far too high. As much as I love the food, I probably won’t be returning until these prices are figured out.

Stopped in while visiting the area to get a burger and I'm glad that I did. I ordered a single patty bacon cheese burger which was more than enough for me along with onion rings. Both items were delicious and the service was great. If you're looking for a good burger you can't go wrong with this spot.

I arrived for a pretty late lunch since I was in the area for a conference and have been meaning to try out Hodads. I came around 3 PM on a Monday and there was no one else in the shop but me which meant I got super quick service. I opted for the single cheeseburger with onion rings and a Dr. Pepper. The burger was pretty good and the onion rings were amazing. It was definitely worth the 20 minute walk that it took to get there. I'd go back in the future just for the onion rings alone! The best part is that they give you 2 stickers at the end of your meal! I'm pretty sure you're supposed to stick the stickers on the walls of the establishment somewhere but I wanted to take mine.

Saw them on Triple D, and had to try. It definitely lived up to the hype. Burger was great, the atmosphere was fantastic (be on the lookout for the “run forest” license plate). We ate in the car, and had a great time. Staff was friendly and attentive. Burger was a GREAT size. Definitely coming back!

Like many, I’m just in town for a work trip. I’m always looking to try new spots when I’m traveling. This one was great! My kind of music (hard rock, indie, hip hop) a great mix of tunes, great vibes, super nice staff. I am going to make it a point to go back (after a few more runs) this week before I leave! Also, the food and beer were delicious 🤤 (Guido burger and both IPAs on tap)

Incredible burgers with vegan options. Onion rings were absolutely fantastic. Service got a little slow for paying the bill, but otherwise we had an excellent time. Looking forward to trying a beer!

Definitely one of the best burger's in San Diego never disappoints burgers are big and delicious I personally think the French fries are the best I always get a strawberry shake and they are made with real ice cream hodads is definitely a must try service is always excellent super friendly staff this one is downtown so parking is kinda difficult

This was our first time coming the Gaslamp location and was a little under impressed compared to their other locations. The food was amazing just like the other locations, but the atmosphere and service was not par. Also disappointed that they didn’t have a salsa bar. Overall it was a great experience and would still eat here again.

We visited Rockin’ Baja Lobster during Comic-Con weekend, so we expected it to be busy but unfortunately, the service was disappointing overall. Shoutout to Diana, who was a great server! She was attentive, helped us correct an issue with our order, and really tried to make our experience better. We appreciated her effort. However, another server (the blonde one) who previously took our order, was not as friendly. She gave my friend a bad look when he politely followed up on his food, and when I asked her for a sauce, she said “yeah” but never came back with it. On top of that, my friend never received the extra chips he ordered, even after asking about them. The service felt very slow and disorganized. We understand it was a busy weekend, but it seemed like we were forgotten for long stretches of time. While others got priority. That said, the food was really good. Great flavors, fresh ingredients, and generous portions it definitely lived up to the hype in that department. If the service matched the quality of the food, this would have been a five-star experience.

I got the Shellfish Taco Platter (one of each - shrimp, blue crab, and lobster) and a Cadillac Margarita. Really enjoyed each taco but the lobster was my favorite! I also shared photos of menu items I wanted to try like the Cali Surf & Turf Burrito and just check out the biiiiiig burrito and the 6XXL tacos!!!! Great food, service, and got to watch the Dodgers vs Padres. No complaints! Would definitely visit again next time I am in the area. Our waiter on June 16, Scotty, was so kind and patient as well 🤗

The quality and value of food have dropped significantly since last time I visited before covid. That on top of a 5% surcharge on each bill is just a slap on the face

Flavor was on point, Atmosphere was exciting and wait staff was friendly and efficient. Crab legs were very hard to peel..dry and overcooked.

The wife and I love this restaurant chain, but this is their newest location, and the servers are subpar, and the food is not on par with their other locations. Luke the bartender, who helped us, was actually stellar; the rest were in some sort of daze, leaving 30 minutes between main courses for my guests. In other words, the main course would come for one person, then 30 minutes later for the next person. The place wasn’t empty, but there were only a few of us in there. The steak was like a shoe, the chicken was dry, in the $80 bucket they messed up the corn; it was supposed to be Mexican style, not just grilled. The lobster was super fishy, but maybe it was an off day for them? The other locations are incredible; this one just needs some attention from management to get it on par with the others. Kudos to Luke though, he’s great.

We ordered the Baja bucket which came with two lobster tails crab shrimp chicken carne asada and corn on the cob. It also came with tortillas and rice and beans. LOTS OF FOOD!! It was all amazing however The crab was lacking some serious meat and maybe overcooked. (Maybe it's not crab season?) This meal also comes with fried ice cream. We ordered a beer and a spicy skinny margarita both were delicious. The service was on top of their game lots of TVs for sports and a full wet bar with numerous beers on tap. They also have a full margarita menu. I would definitely come back and give it a try again. Total for two including tip was $150.00

There’s a lot of local hype about this place. I’ll say that the food quality lived up to the expectation, but the service is lacking. They have a method to maintain a long line of people waiting. The preparation area moves very slow to maintain a steady line, giving the illusion that they are overly popular. The truth is there is ample seating available, the long line and wait time is due to the staff intentionally moving slow. I can’t say that I’ll wait in line for 45 minutes again for what I’d say is just good, not overly great or fantastic food. I’d stop by again if there’s no wait, but if I see a line like I did today, I’d rather go elsewhere. Kind of a let down.

They do one thing and they do it RIGHT: carne asada. Tacos El Yaqui has the recipe down and has some of the best tacos I've ever had in my life. Is the wait long? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes. The staff is friendly too, we even made a friend with the wonderful gentleman behind the grill. The tacos are pretty loaded, so I'd recommend 2. But 3's a party.

Love the open air concept of the restaurant. Everything from their meat to their salsas is great. Simple menu (Perron, sencillo o quesadilla) that’s it! Long line but it moves fairly quickly.

I grew up going here constantly. The food was always amazing. It still is great in comparison to what you can find in the USA but ever since they switched cooks the flavor changes. Ill still go but there is better places around. It is very conveniently located walking distance to all the major nigh club area.

Everything was great from the tortilla to the grilled meat and specially the beans inside the taco!

They keep the menu simple and make the tacos great! I have been there a few times now and the food is consistent 👌. If you are going on the weekend during lunch hours, prepare for the wait, but still worth it.

We were visiting Todos Santos from Cabo and walking around town. We were starving and found this place. They had good selection for lunch and it’s good that they had chicken since the kids didn’t like seafood. Our server spoke English and the food was good.

Had lunch here. Nice little spot with mostly outside seating. I had the fish tacos on flour tortillas - delicious - dressed with the toppings provided at the table. Husband had shrimp tacos, Mexican-style (cooked a la plancha with tomatoes and onions) on corn tortillas. So good! Service was fantastic and you can't beat the prices!

Great lunch spot in town. Loved the fish tacos and highly recommend it - fresh, juicy and melts in the mouth. The shrimp one was also super good. I was less impressed by the scallop one though a bit dry. One can choose between flour and corn tacos. All generously served with sauces and salads. The menu includes ceviche and Japanese specialties too. Very welcoming staff.

It's About The Seafood!! Great mix of fresh and simple ingredients,b with really attentive service...and a great price. The ceviche's have such a bright flavor, and there are a few non-seafood choices, as well (carne asada quesadilla). A definite place to come back to again!

The burritos were enormous and flavorful! I would go again. Their menu is huge with tons of options to choose from. Their staff are so sweet and welcoming too.

California Burrito Hunt – Stop #25 I am on a mission to find the best California Burrito in town. Today’s stop is Pokez Mexican Restaurant. The Burrito: The biggest strength of this burrito is the fresh ingredients, and you can really taste it. The grilled meat is flavorful, and the avocado with the sour cream sauce adds nice variety to each bite. They also add cabbage, which gives the dish and its flavor a unique twist. The potatoes, however, became a bit watery from the heat. If the potatoes had been crispy and the meat slightly more flavorful, this could easily be the best burrito in the city. They also make their own sauces here, which taste great and clearly come from fresh products — nothing old or stale. Price is $15 plus tax, which is slightly above the city average. Score: 7 out of 10 Service: The man who helped me clearly did not want to interact. I would not call it rude, but it was definitely harsh and unwelcoming. Score: 1 out of 10 Atmosphere: You can tell they have put effort into creating a certain atmosphere. The place is old, filled with vintage things, and there is so much to take in. I cannot even describe it all — you have to see the photos. Despite the age of the decor, the place is clean, which works surprisingly well with the antique feel. Score: 7 out of 10

It's good but the serving sizes are massive, more than one could eat in a single sitting. The quesadilla was thiccc, I think it would be better if it was thinner or smaller. The service was good, friendly staff.

Great place to get all kinds of vegetarian and vegan food. We got two potato tacos and Tom’s Deep Plate with corn tortillas along with the tofu mushroom potatoes. Both were fresh and delicious! And HUGE! We love that we can order just about anything, including the rice and beans. This place has a low key fun vibe. But I wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness or physical condition.

Great food and wonderful customer service! I’m from out of town and was recommended this place from one of my friends who grew up here. She talks very highly of this place and I needed to check it out. The food was delicious and had very large portions! If we lived in the area this would definitely be a regular spot. We tried a mahi mahi taco, a shrimp taco, chicken quesadilla and a carne asada torta. Everything was good, I especially enjoyed the mahi mahi taco.

Thanks to the staff recommendation, I ordered the "Toms Deep Plate" with tofu potato mushroom. It was absolutely stellar. Completely vegan. So delicious. Perhaps too much food for a single sitting, but completely fair prices. Having grown up in SoCal, eating authentic "California Mexican" is a must on any visit back to this state. This restaurant hit the spot. I am so grateful! Great plate for vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores alike. Plenty of options for all.

Love eating tacos at City Tacos. Such unique combination of tacos that are all wildly delicious. Look forward to eating here anytime I’m in San Diego. The prices are reasonable at around $4 to $5 a taco.

I had an amazing experience at City Tacos today the server who helped me had such great energy, personality and customer service. She honestly made my visit. It’s the kind of experience that makes you want to come back just because of how welcome you feel. The tacos were delicious too but the service really stood out. I usually go to other locations but I might have to make this one my regular spot. Thank you for the amazing experience!

Its nice to have a place with a variety of vegetarian tacos that werent just cactus or beans and cheese. We got the city zuchini and chili relleno. Each had a good mixture of veggies and sauce pairings. The tortias were a nice stretchy which was good considering the amount of filling would have ripped straight through a corn tortia. They had a sauce bar that was pretty good but the mango sauce was more of a syrup than a sauce. On its own it was too much but in the taco it worked. Overall a good spot.

I have craved city tacos since I first had them in 2018!! I was so excited to come back to San Diego primary for the chorizo asado tacos here!

Yummy tacos! Good vegetarian and gluten free options. Big menu and all are very yummy! Parking is not great if you are coming here just for this spot, I recommend going to the big parking garage just down the street.

I stopped by City Tacos today for lunch.. and it turns out it was National Taco Day, such a fun surprise!! They had this spinner wheel game going on and with a little motivation from the team I ended up scoring a free taco 🤗 The energy from the staff was incredible, They were both so enthusiastic, friendly and super thorough and informative with their recommendations and they were right, the grilled shrimp taco was absolutely delicious and I’ll be back soon redeem my free taco voucher for another!! 😂🤤🌮 The food was amazing but it was really the team that made the experience so lively and welcoming. Don't even know where to begin with this place. Everything was fantastic! Tunes were awesome, had me dancing and singing in my seat. Service from the team was helpful and kind. Food was magnificent! I tried each of the traditional tacos and all of them are must tries! Guacamole was yummy! Green and red salsa was on point. Spicy creamy dipping sauce is a must try. Loved this place!

Wow! Pleasant surprise. High quality and very clean. We have always made the drive to Ensenada for fish tacos, but Tacos Baja Jr is every bit as good.

Guacamole was creamy and not very tasty buy good. Chips were fresh. Fish soup was bland with many pieces of fish. Quesadilla con Cameron was very good. Grilled fish tacos were bland and tasted a bit fishy. Ceviche de camarones was spicy, a little a salty and very tasty. Would order that again. Taco California has mixed fish in fish in a tomato based sauce and was too sweet.

Close to the water and the food was fresh and waited for it to get me sick as it was cold raw seafood but nope it tasted great and settled my tummy would def go back shoutout to the staff very attentive and had a great meal although little more expensive than what i thought but inflation has hit everywhere would recommend

Best fish and shrimp tacos I've had in Rosarito. Fresh ingredients and always a plate of pickled onion, cilantro and limes plus great creamy tartar sauce and green salsa. My favorite is the Quesaron which is a shrimp taco with melted cheese on a flour tortilla. I also enjoy the grilled fish tacos with an ice cold Coke. Three people can eat there for around $12.

Without a doubt the best and most popular place to get tacos here in Ensenada, service was extremely quick, it all tasted delicious, well cooked and the tortillas were awesome! We were in and out of there within 20 minutes, I visit this place at least once a week for the past 6 years and still my favorite 👌🏻

Given we had pretty awesome tacos, these were towards a 3.5 range. We paid Marina/hotel prices. The guava cheesecake had a bit of salt to it and was a bit mushy. The oysters taco was ok but the scallops were fine. My friend's taco were ok too. Our favorite item turned out to be the tortilla soup. Simple but tasty.

We just wanted a small bite to eat before we went out for dinner. Thought we would give this teeny-tiny corner spot a try since staff had been flagging us down to come over for couple days now. We stayed at Tesoro resort, so basically, why not … right? Omg… The Paloma drinks were the bomb! Los Claros definitely had bragging rights there. Props to the bartender on Thur 2/20/25 630pm. And, since we all love seafood, we thought fish tacos would be the perfect bite. Well, unlike their Paloma drinks, fish tacos were nothing worth to brag about. Our fish taco plates were served with one tortilla, and two fish strips/pieces. I’m guessing, they truly are representing small bites. Not very generous in size (comparing to what I’m use to in Rosarito and Ensenada). Fish tacos presentation was plain, but a trio-tray of condiments were offered on the side to spruce up our tacos. Of course, to our liking. We had to ask for another tray as the cabbage had been immediately consumed by one person already. Again, not so generous with portioning. The server was not at all attentive/active but was sweet and timid. Could be a language barrier or simply shy. I always say, though, anyone in the “serving” industry, there is absolutely no room to be shy about. It’s all about connections with your customers. I was not a fan of Los Claros fish tacos. It lacked, crisp and crunch, as if missing the batter the fish was suppose to be dipped in. If anything, the fish itself was soggy and floppy. Mash potato like. It lacked “meat” and firmness. Hence, small portioned. After spicing up my tacos though, it came to life, but only in the taste department. Would I try Los Claros fish tacos again? Yes. Hopefully, the next time, their fish taco dish will be new and improved… crispy and crunchy batter, firm and generous portioned fish. Los Claros, let’s make it happen.

We checked to be sure we could be accommodated in a certain time frame because we had plans. The waiter said no problem. An hour & a half is reasonable time for lunch. 20 minutes past the time we needed to leave we still were missing a good portion of our food. We finally got out an hour after we were supposed to. We ordered fish tacos & they were served with no sauce, no lime, no cabbage. when we went to leave, they said we couldn’t pay with card because their system was down. So we had to go find cash and make sure our bill was correct with all the things that were missing. We wanted a nice lunch and we just waited and were stressed.

We asked the local dive shop where to have tacos and they recommended this place. The servers were attentive and wonderful. My only complaint would be that the menu was a bit sparse in terms of description of items so when they came they were different than we had pictured in our heads (marlin tacos specifically) and in retrospect we could have asked more questions. Nice to get off the main drag of the marina and feel a bit more secluded and authentic. Overall great experience!

This place is trash y basura. The atmosphere was very loud and unpleasant and it took forever to get our food. All we ordered was a couple tacos and the Mexican combo dinner, and it took over an hour to get our food. Our waiter was doing tequila shots with his other customers, maybe that explains the extreme long wait time. When we finally got our food, it was total trash. I don't know how this place has the audacity to say they have the best tacos in Cabo. The flank steak fillet from the Mexican dinner felt like chewing on uncooked bacon. The tacos sucked and the meat felt undercooked. The fries we ordered felt like eating wet raw potatoes that danced in greese. All this food was way overpriced, especially for the quality recieved. Then they said we couldn't pay with card because there system was down. After exhausting all of our patience they reseted the scanner and it worked.

The food here is absolutely ahhmazing! The decor is gorgeous, inside and on the patio. Great music playing at a reasonable level. Impeccable service. We've been twice now for date night and we love it. Highlights this time were the Oaxacan Dip, Refried Pinto Tostada (my fave of the night), and NY Steak on hot rock. We love the corn ice cream, the presentation is so fun. The drinks are on point. Do yourself a favor and get the Dos Ochos. One of the best drinks I've had! This spot is such a lovely experience. We'll keep coming back.

Been there before but never dinner. I love the vibes in this place. The food was okay !!! The best was the chicken cob salad. I don’t like the double decker taco or the duck breast. Not sure if I would come back for the food here. I would come for the vines and dj thou

Went to Camino for a few drinks with friends and really liked it. The atmosphere was chill and made for a great place to hang out and catch up. Drinks were solid, and overall it was a fun night. I’d definitely go back.

My boyfriend and I dined here recently. The decor and ambiance is really cool. You’ll feel transported as soon as you walk through the big red doors. The drinks are excellent! I ordered the Jugo Jefe. He ordered the Flama Blanca with mezcal. The food is good. The portions are relatively small. The corn ice cream dessert is fantastic! Finally, our server Chloe was very attentive and kind.

We did the mezcal experience and had such a great time—it was personalized to our tastes and made the whole thing feel really special. Afterward, we stuck around for cocktails and dinner, and everything was fantastic. Just a heads-up: the restaurant sits directly under the airport flight path, so it can get a bit noisy and occasionally interrupt conversation. Still totally worth it!

The food at this restaurant is primarily topas style. It’s a good place to get a few dishes and try everyone’s dish. The cocktails were really good. The decorations and vibe was great. The only thing that made me drop them from 5 starts to 4 stars is because of the airplanes. We sat outside and airplanes would fly over to land continuously and it was very loud. Other than that it was great.

We really enjoyed a nice date night out at Camino Riviera. The food was exceptional, I just wish the portions were a little bit larger. The service was some of the best that I’ve ever had and the weight staff as well as the bussers were always ready anytime I finished a dish. We definitely would recommend this for a fun date night spot that immerses you in the Tulúm vibe!

Exactly what you want!! A simple shop specializing in delicious fried seafood tacos! Go up to the cashier and order what you want, pay, they will give you a ticket. Go stand in line for the guy making the food. He will take your ticket and hand you your food there. The tacos are huge portions, I could barely eat two!! But they were delicious and the sauces provided were great as well. Cash only I believe.

We visited La Paz for a couple of days and we were looking for authentic Mexican food and found this place. Let me just say that the food was amazing! This place is one of the most popular with the locals. Everyone talks about it and the lineup lets you know they do food right and they are reasonable prices. The people are amazing and friendly and the food was fresh and delicious and you get enough toppings to fill two tortillas they give you. The toppings bar had lots of options and sauces. Top picks were fish or shrimp tacos and the marlin empanada.

These are the typical, traditional Baia tacos: breaded fish, shrimp, marlin and ray. You can’t go wrong with the breaded fish or shrimp taco. Then you have the salsa bar with a good varietyand you can add as much as you want. The best food I had in Baja Sur.

If you want a family owned Mexican restaurant experience, it's great. If you want the experience you would expect from a restaurant in the US, not so much. They don't speak English and only take cash. But we loved it.

It’s a street stand with plenty of covered seating inside. Four tacos for less than 200 pesos. We had shrimp and fish tacos that were amazing! The meat is fried and they have a lot of things to put on the tacos. Great find!!

Mercado Negro offers delicious, authentic local seafood, and the quality of the food is undeniable. However, the experience was dampened by the constant barrage of food vendors aggressively trying to get us into their establishments. While I understand the competition, it became overwhelming and, at times, unpleasant. If you’re looking for great seafood and don’t mind the persistent sales pitches, it’s worth a visit—but be prepared for the pressure.

It was ok. Honestly, prices are too high for what you get. Tacos weren't bad but I won't return. Too many other places with more selection, variety, and drink options.

Ensenada is a fishing city and this is the heart of the fishing industry in the city. Vendor after vendor with wonderful fresh fish and seafood. Everyone is very helpful and it is a must see when visiting the Ensenada area.

This is a tourist attraction rather than a traditional seafood market used by locals. There aren't many fish inside, and the vendors inside don't seem very interested in selling. Instead, the nearby restaurant staff are more enthusiastic about drawing in customers, offering seafood processing services. We didn't eat here because it felt strange—there were hardly any people except tourists, so it didn't feel like an authentic local experience. Overall, this city gives off a vibe of being very tourist-oriented, with high prices on generic items and everyone trying hard to attract customers to their own shops. It just feels odd and lacks the authentic atmosphere you'd expect from a place frequented by locals.

Lola 55 nails the craft taco vibe, lively room, polished service, and the Michelin Bib Gourmand nod makes sense.  Our spread hit all the notes, crisp Caesar, juicy chicken tacos, a steak taco, one Baja fish, the kids quesadilla, and the Tres Hermanas. The standouts were the fish and the beans, both among the best I have had, the fish perfectly crisp and flaky, the beans silky, deeply seasoned, and addictive. Shout out to Arlene, warm, knowledgeable, and generous with details about the vibe and the food. She also shared how they evolved from self-serve to full service, and you can feel that in the hospitality. Five stars from me. It is not my everyday go-to, I lean super healthy most days, but when I want excellent tacos with real care behind them, this is where I am coming.

First of all, I know the food is the most important thing in a restaurant, but the service was just INCREDIBLE. I feel bad I don't remember her name, but our waitress was so kind, attentive and just so energetic, me and my gf loved her. Now the food. Carnitas tacos were the best tacos I HAVE EVER HAD. A perfect combination of salty, acidity from what I think were tomatillos, and crunchy. They had a special pozole which was phenomenal too. Their fish taco is really famous. Disclaimer, I don't like fish tacos, but we still ordered and it was the best one I've had ever. Personally I would still stick with the carnitas and steak, but if you do enjoy them, it is indeed very flavorful. Overall 10/10 experience, if we didn't live in Chicago, we would become regulars without a doubt.

The smoked carnitas, beans and rice are great. Every other taco I've tried there is just okay. The staff yesterday had zero tequila knowledge and didn't know what a ramekin lid was.. Also was quoted a certain price for tequila only to realize they charge 3 bucks extra for a neat pour, I get it, usually 2 oz and not 1.5. But then I got charged another 3 bucks for a rocks pour. Not sure if this is how the business wants to do it or if it was an employee mistake. Either way, they need to train their people more. This spot used to be amazing, not so much anymore sadly

Great place for tacos! The tacos were delicious. They have a machine making corn tortillas, and they come ready with sauce, so no need for extra lime or hot sauce. I had steak, pork belly al pastor, and a fish taco, all very filling. The tacos felt elegant but tasted great. I looked them up online are featured in the 2022 Michelin guide which makes sense after trying the food. I will be back soon.

We swing in for the happy hour and got the cauliflower taco and beer. It was nice that they had a few vegiterian/vegan options for tacos that were unique. The cauliflower one had an eggplant bacon that added a nice crisp and smoky flavor. The beer was just okay but they arent a brewery so I wasnt expecting it to be amazing. The staff was pretty quick and friendly and had a few recommendations that were helpful as well. Overall a nice place to grab a bite.

Stumbled upon this unassuming eatery on a sunny Thursday afternoon, and it turned out to be some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. The open, airy ambiance made for a relaxed and inviting setting, and the service was truly top-notch. Our server, Caleb, was fantastic—passionate and deeply knowledgeable. He enthusiastically shared the story behind the restaurant and dove into the thought and technique behind each dish, from preparation to seasoning. They also have an excellent happy hour. I especially loved the spiced Jamaica—a beautifully aromatic drink infused with anise and warming mixed spices. It struck a perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and floral notes. As for the food—absolutely unforgettable. The Squashroom and Cauliflower tacos are two of the most inspired vegetarian tacos I’ve ever had. The Squashroom features a delicately battered lion’s mane mushroom paired with a squash blossom, bright verde salsa, and a bold red chili paste. It’s a mesmerizing harmony of textures and flavors. The Cauliflower taco might have been my favorite. Smoky, crispy cauliflower meets a crunchy eggplant “bacon” strip, all topped with a deeply flavorful sweet-and-tangy mole. The fresh corn tortillas elevate every bite—they’re the perfect vehicle for all these bold, creative flavors. I also tried the Baja Fish taco, which was equally impressive. The fish was fried to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside—accompanied by a spicy salsa, tangy tartar sauce, and a touch of mesclun greens for freshness. An incredible combination. In short: this place is doing something truly special. Innovative, intentional, and absolutely delicious. Someone give them their Michelin star already!

Amazing! They low-key have Michelin stars and they deserve it! Their tacos are amazing, prices very decent. We had 4 drinks, 3 tacos and 2 deserts for $108 before gratuity. Vibe is laid back but service is attentive!

Called to get information as I’ve been there before and loved the pools. But the lady wasn’t polite at all (she wasn’t very rude either) she just hang up on me and wasn’t giving me options. The hotel should have a day pass too. Every time I’ve been there I have loved it. I’m just reviewing for this time so it is in mind

Great hotel in every way! Ideal for a quick getaway. As a childless couple we would just like to recommend for the hotel to be more assertive on the rules on the pool area, specially on the jacuzzi, because kids below 12 years come and go as de please and the lifeguard is not always there. I hope that the hotel would give the rules to all people on the check in process.

Great place the rooms are dated but clean and they are massive. Was there for the week. The gym and facilities are really nice. But the pool has way too much chlorine.

I have stayed at Corral and Marina for now almost 18 years. Everything has been fine, but on this recent stay, I was very disappointed by the service, specifically the maintenance team. Upon my arrival, I tried to change the temperature of my room without success. I called the maintenance team, they reassured me they would adjust. I came back into the room later, and it was 25C!!! I called again, and was told, we are on our way. No one showed up. I want to the front desk to ask for assistance, only to be told, I will remind the maintenance team of your need. Stayed for 4 nights; couldn’t sleep…I will seriously reconsider staying here in the future.

We stayed in the Marina as we arrived via boat. Can’t say enough about how great our stay (1 Month) has been. Super friendly staff and a well kept facility. Tempting to stay longer…

Rooms where spacious, Jr. suite size. Well equipped for entertaining, if that what you had in mine. There was a lot of banging going on during the mid mornings. Sometimes it sounded like a construction dumpster being filled. The hardwood floors were noisey at times when the staff was preparing to do something, I don't know what.

Great place to stay overlooking the Marina! The Marina also has small boat rentals and hydrobikes to use. The food was great but you will pay the price. Overall great experience.

This has to be the busiest place I’ve been to while in Cabo San Lucas (most places were empty when we visited). It’s a casual place. We ordered different tacos - battered fish, grilled shrimp, grilled octopus, al pastor and smoke tuna. I personally liked shrimp taco and al pastor tacos. My kids liked grilled octopus. The jamaica drink was so refreshing to go with the tacos. The price was reasonable and the service was fast. It’s a great place to have lunch by Medano Beach.

Yummy and reasonable priced. Literally have signs up saying best fish and shrimp tacos (70 pesos each). 2 different salsas, pickled onions, pico de gallo, cabbage, crema, avocado sauce come free. Service is super nice and quick. Breakfast platter was good too (280 pesos). It came with refried beans, two eggs, hashbrowns, toast or pancakes, bacon or sausage. Like most restaurants, they only had ceiling fans. It was very hot (August).

This place was straight fire. We ate here pretty much every day. The fish and shrimp tacos are where it's at. I really like that they bring all of the toppings and sauces to the table. They bring the tacos dry and you get to dress them up yourself. We also came for breakfast and that was bomb as well. If you're in the area do not sleep on this place. Best tacos we had in cabo.

Hands down, the BEST taco spot in Cabo San Lucas. Whether you’re into pastor, asada, shrimp, fish, or scallops, it’s all top tier here. You are given all the topping and sides to dress your tacos the way you like it. The service was excellent and felt as good as table service in any fancy restaurant. This place is the epitome of happiness in a tortilla.

Tacos Gardenias is a true gem! I had the carne asada tacos and the quesabirria quesadilla, and both were absolutely delicious. The flavors felt authentic and fresh. You know you’re in the right place when you see locals enjoying their meals here too! A simple spot, but the quality and taste more than make up for it. Another must try for amazing tacos in Cabo!

If I could give this place a 10 I would! We had the fried fish, Grilled shrimp, and chicken tacos. They were fabulous!! House tortillas both flour and corn, and all the findings, along with rice and beans. Now, my grandma was from Mexico and she spoiled me with her Frijoles but these were right up there with hers! The prices were good and fast Service!

I was told about this place from the manager at the resort. They have the best fish & shrimp tacos so far in Cabo. They have other meats too like asada, pastor, octopus etc. they come with handmade tortillas. Soooo good!! The Horchata OMG!!!! So creamy so good as well as the Jamaica and Tamarindo. Fresh Real ingredients None of that powder shit! This was authentic. Highly recommended! Just a short walk from the marina. We will return every time we’re here. Sorry about not taking pictures of the food Once it reached the table I dug right in Lol Huge mound of fresh guacamole Delicious. They bring all the fixings and salsa over to your table so you can prepare your taco as you wish with cabbage, sauces, pico de gallo and so on. A Must Try!!! Great Job Everyone! No frills taco shop. They have a large menu, but my favorite by far was the pastor tacos. Great place for a snack or happy hour before heading to the bars down the street.

Best Chorizo I’ve ever had - the tray of fresh salsas they bring out was incredible!! The Pastor was seriously top 3 I’ve ever had - you must go here.

The pastor taco was good, the chorizo taco very good. We loved the selection of add-ons that were brought to the table. Service was fine and the place has a very authentic feel.

Tonight I was serenaded by a man and his tacos. ❤️ We would definitely recommend this place. Best tacos we have had in Cabo. Chorizo, steak and the owner were all fabulous.

We had the best time at this hole in the wall authentic Mexican restaurant! Gordo was amazing and sang us Beatles songs and made the most delicious tacos! A must stop when in Cabo. Restaurant seats 16 but well worth it for the experience! Our group was laughing, singing along, and enjoying the entire night! We will be back!

Don’t let this modest place fool you from the outside. These really are the BEST tacos in Cabo. Made by Javier, the food is incredible. And if you’re lucky enough to hear the words “it’s showtime!”, you’re in for a treat. Javier’s passion for food is equal to his passion for singing and music. His voice is beautiful, full of soul. People say they come to visit his restaurant from all over the world, making it a staple visit in their vacations year after year. You can feel the heart in this place. Amazing food, amazing service, amazing stories, and, of course, an amazing man behind it all. Highly recommend. Thank you for everything, Javier!!

Easy to miss. We were only walking past and heard The Beatles playing. Upon closer inspection we discovered a small room with about 4 tables and every inch of wall covered in Beatles memorabilia. We had a few drinks and got chatting to some diners. Tacos looked good. Very cheap. I don't think he would win many good hygiene certificates but a great experience. He treated us to four songs

Haven’t tasted the food and I already fell in love with the place. Javier was exceptional and a gentleman. We have heard from a lot of people that to have the best Cabo experience you need to meet him. Since it was our last night in Cabo, we used all the Mexican Pesos and there’s no credit card machine onsite, he didn’t let us go, and told us not to worry about the money that I could pay him next year or in my other life, that what matters to him is for good people to have a good time and a full belly! (Who the F#*%$ dose that now days and it’s so nice?) Anyhow, we had dollars so we were ready for the feast and the experience... Now, in regards to the tacos. They were delish, included avocado, and not greasy at all! To top it off, Javier loves music! Not only the place looks like The Beatles library, he sings along to their songs, as well as Frank Sinatra, and so for. All said and done, the best taco experience in Cabo San Lucas.

It was great to see Javier back and looking healthy. The past couple of times we stopped by he was closed due to some health issues. Today we stopped by and he was open. I had a couple of cerveza's and an excellent shrimp taco. Javier then offered up a couple of tunes beginning with his iconic "Let it Be" then "It's a wonderful world" and finally "I did it my Way"

The wings were okay but quite expensive, more expensive than in Europe or other Mexican places we’ve been. The pizza was just a nightmare, couldn’t finish it. Forced myself to eat 2 pieces out of hunger. The next day my bowels hurt horribly and it’s definitely from that place.

A great place that occasionally has live music. It can get really packed, but a fun vibe! Whether you like thin crust or thick, you'll love their pizza. Generous toppings and reasonably priced! Tried their "wicked" signature pizza with lots of toppings, even meatballs!

Across the street from Hotel Tesoro. They stayed open during Hurricane Hillary so we went over to support them. The staff was friendly and the pizza was yummy. Beers were super cold. The best part was that we could order (2) types of pizza on the the same pizza. (Bonus) We'll visit again next time.

We had a pepperoni pizza delivered to our condo one night because we were being lazy. I was very surprised how good the pizza was and at $30 delivered in Cabo, I thought it was a great deal! We will eat there again but at the establishment next time.

I had delivery. So can’t speak to what the restaurant looks like although I was there a couple years ago and seemed great. I got the meat lovers and jalapeño poppers. Poppers are not what you’d expect in the states where they’re deep fried with beer batter on the outside, but these are still good. Pizza was really good and still warm. The crust was a little thin and a little tough which I assume is just because of the delivery time. They set an expectation of delivery in 45 minutes and I received it closer to 30 minutes. Great service, I would just give them a call rather than tryto sort it out on their website. Next time I’ll be stopping in at the restaurant to see what that’s like. You can’t go wrong with this one.

Wicked Pizza is well… wicked good of course. Thin and crispy with movie like burnt cheese on top. Never heard of pepperoni chips but like why haven’t I!? Amazing food you won’t be disappointed - plus a nice range for delivery.

Added mushrooms to the meat lovers & got it delivered to the hotel after a long day! My partner and I didn’t feel like going out & this refueled us. Had to take a pic for the review after we had our first slice! If you want takeout or delivery, I suggest just calling to order since the website kept refreshing. Def recommend and will go in person when back in town!

Seriously awful margarita and queso fundito in a lively shopping area. We had one bite of the queso and decided to leave. It was, well, icky. No taste and a weird liquid. The margarita tasted like they put salt in the mixer. We tried to like it, but left most of it. Grossly salty. The restaurant did offer to make us a replacement queso, which we declined and they took it off our bill. I know it might seem strange that we didn't allow them to remake the dish, but it was just that awful. Disappointing experience as we only had a few hours in Cabo.

We have been coming here for years. Was so nervous cause we kinda forgot where it was this time. It's been a while. Put a pin in the spot this time. Always good authentic food. Chili rellenos, huevos rancheros and yummy flan. Love this place and the friendly owner.

We had the 4 street tacos and 1 beer deal, approximately $14. The tacos came naked w the option to add your toppings after delivery. The tortilla was very good, but the fish was unseasoned. The atmosphere was cool with the outdoor eatery being in a high traffic bistling area with lots to see. The service was quick, and our waiter spoke perfect English. He made it easier by giving an estimate of cost in USD. We paid in cash. All in all, a good experience

Visited mid July '19 with family and friends (6). Everyone enjoyed the fresh made tacos and cold beer specials. This place has a taco bar that has all the toppings that an authentic Mexican taco should have. I had the steak and pork tacos, delicious! My friends had the fish and shrimp tacos but theirs were too good to share. Great service and lots cheaper than the place you were actually looking to eat just steps away.

Very affordable tacos. Maybe the cheapest in town but no compromise on the taste. This was my go to place. They give you the tacos with the choice of meat/ fish and then you go to the salad bar to load up however you like. Nice selection of salsas and sauces and toppings

We were in town on vacation. Just looking for some good authentic Mexicano eats. This place did not disappoint. They even have a home made salsa bar! Not just one salsa option. The enchiladas with the green sauce??? AMAZING! The Sope/Chile Relleno/Enchilada plate?? YES PLEASE. Next time you’re in Cabo San Lucas stop in and give them a try. You can thank me later.

They make good tacos. We should have ordered grilled shrimp and fish tacos because they were oily. The taste was good with adding the extra items to them. Good prices and plenty to food!

In my search for the best tacos, Taqueria El Paisa definitely made the list. We visited the downtown location, an open-air spot with a casual vibe. I ordered the carne asada tacos on flour tortillas, and they were so good. They were juicy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The service was also quick and efficient, which I really appreciated. A great spot for authentic tacos!

A spacious, open-air taqueria with plenty of seating, lots of staff, and good food. I ordered the carne con queso, and it was delicious, mouthwatering, and bursting with flavor. I also tried the al pastor, camaron, and pescado tacos, and each one hit the spot. The condiments are self-serve, and the staff are friendly, quick, and efficient. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to every time I visit Cabo.

Absolutely loved this place! We had the beef tacos and chicken tacos, both were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The tortillas were fresh, and the meat was juicy and well seasoned. If you’re in Cabo San Lucas and craving authentic tacos, this place is a must! Plenty of food, plenty of options, all kinds of seafood to choose from, I do recommend this place if you are craving some Mex style seafood, just do not expect super highly elaborated dishes because there are none, but still a good option.

Great classic fish and shrimp tacos. The scallop taco and marlin are also flavorful options. There’s a big salad bar where you can add salsas, tomatoes, and other toppings to spice them up.

Tacos were not that great. Corn tortilla did not hold together, overall not as tasty as other taco places we tried in San Jose.

Four of us ate dinner here. Food was marginal and the setting had a dirty appearance. Walls are filthy and in dire need of fresh paint. Grilled shrimp tacos were nicely flavored but fried cabrilla tasted wrong. With so many nice choices throughout Los Cabos, I would definitely NOT return.

Review for to go order to take back to our hotel for a late lunch. When I stepped in was asked to wear a mask, so note at this time need a mask to eat here. Ordered 2 two steak, 2 marinated meat (both meat tacos on corn tortillas) and 3 smoked marlin tacos on flour tortillas per waiter’s suggestion. Smocked marlin tacos were amazing. Beef ones were okay but the corn tortillas were not great ( maybe because they were not super warm since the order was to go. Came with three different salsas, crème sauce, cut limes & cucumber. Total bill was around $16. Great value. Better than any taco we ate at the Viceroy Hotel!

Definitely off the beaten track but the food was great. The salad and salsa bar really make the tacos pop. The half orders of ceviche were filled to the brim with great seafood. The campechana had a mix of octopus, shrimp, scallops - so good. 2 half orders of ceviche, 2 tacos, 2 bottle waters were $25 USD

Decent shrimp/fish tacos with a large sauce bar area. I wish I had ordered a non-fried option as I imagine the grilled fish is very fresh. Only reason this location did not get 5 stars is that a large American family came in after us and they seemed to receive priority attention from all the staff.

I have been there a few times now and its consistently good, The food is fresh and well prepared and the people are nice and provide good service. Love the fish tacos. They have a salsa bar that is nicely presented: and it has a sliding door to keep it protected from flies. Its my go-to when in town.

El viejo has the best salad bar for toppings. All their food is delicious and everyone is super friendly. Also their prices are very fair and is one of the only places in town where everyone gets to enjoy❤️ Thank you El Viejo for all the love you put in your business 🙏

Had a fantastic breakfast here! My husband and I both got the chorizo omelette. When the plate came it was kind of bare, just the omelette and a puddle of beans, until the proprietor directed us to the most impressive salsa and toppings bar we have ever seen! A mouth-watering array of sauces and vegetables to fill your plate and the tortillas that come with the meal. Besides the chorizo omelette was just spectacular. We were both so happy and stuffed. Lovely little palapa restaurant with colorful tablecloths. Very clean with sanitizer on all tables and a hand washing sink in the middle. We wanted to return the next day for another meal but unfortunately they were closed and we were only in town 2 days. If you are in los Barriles, you must eat here at least once! You will not be disappointed.

This is a delicious “local” restaurant. The grilled fish and camarón tacos - with their fixings bar - were some of the best we’ve had in 🇲🇽 Mexico (and we live here). The place was hopping and the service was very good too! Recommend!

We had an incredible time at El Ahorcado. The interior is super niche and fun, and the food was amazing! Their tacos are very recently priced, and all of them were gourmet and delicious. They also provide a whole platter of different sauces and toppings to customize your tacos, which was just the cherry on top. I also had one of the best margaritas I’ve ever had there. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

Atmosphere was very different but mystical and full of antiques from diverse cultures. Spice platter was too spicy and we were able to try only three of the sauces. Tacos and enchiladas were simple but good. We tried vegetarian and sea food enchiladas and fish. Over all experience was good and casual environment with live music. Theme was scary as my mum got scared to see hangman welcoming at the front door.

Omg! Don't wait to try this place! No ac but lots of ceiling fans kept the breeze flowing. Live music, think Santana, cool vibe. You must order the queso fundito. Portions are big and we definitely overestimated. The best authentic food we've had all week. Go to the Thurs art walk in old town and then head here. Will not disappoint!

Worst tacos and service! Don’t waste your time or money here. Better to go somewhere else, since there’s many options in the area. We were the 3rd table to be seated. The server said it’ll be a 10 minute wait for our food. It took 15+ minutes for him to even bring out chips & salsa. The other party was fed up with waiting and left. We almost left as well, but felt bad that we’ve put in an order and decided to give them a chance. It took about 30 minutes to be served 8 tacos. We tried the shrimp, fried fish and steak. The tacos were tiny with meager filling, tasted ok, nothing special. The drinks were mainly sugary syrup. I wish I left and went to Gardenias instead. I enjoy small and unknown local spots, but this is not it. The wait spoiled the entire experience and you’re just sitting outside in the sun in plastic lawn chairs. The servers dog kept barking nonstop. It was a one man show (not the the owner behind the counter, probably the apprentice). Maybe he was just starting out, but it’ll be better to let guests know the realistic wait time. Also, there was no menu and you really don’t know what you’re paying until he serves you the bill. I do not recommend eating here, ever.

I went on a hunt to find the best tacos in Cabo, and this place came out on top. The shop itself is quaint and unassuming, but the tacos speak for themselves. There was no menu and the owner greeted us by listing out what options were available. That’s how you know you’re getting a real authentic experience. We ordered the fish, chicken, and beef tacos. Each taco was incredible, but the fish taco stood out as the best I’ve ever had. The salsa was also amazing and I found myself eating it straight from the spoon. The owner and chef are passionate about their cooking, and it comes through in the flavours. There is nothing too fancy or experimental, these are simply traditional tacos done extremely well, with fresh and delicious ingredients. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Cabo. We had to go back for a second time on our last day here.

Wow. This place was amazing, my wife told me as we were leaving that she would make the drive over from San Diego just to eat here. If you are passing through the area and looking for a memorable spot to grab some tacos, this is the place. They even have a drive through option. The tortillas are made on site, and they give you the choice of flour or corn tortillas. They start your meal by bringing you a small starter of beans and chilies. They also bring you a tray with all of the various taco condiments so you can build your tacos however you like (great for picky little ones who might not like certain toppings).

My mouth died and went to heaven today while in Mexicali! WOW! What a meal…. I’m a grow a$$ man and I cried like a baby! The carne pastor was outstanding! The chicken was so tender I fell in love. The melted cheese with chorizo on it was a dream come true. The tortilla was hand made. If I ever get back to Mexicali I will eat here again!!!

It took a long time to bring our tacos. It's worth mentioning that it was 7 a.m., and it's understandable that they don't give you good service, but they didn't even give us fresh water. We had to ask for it after the tacos arrived.

This place Is super busy with excellent service...Lots of salsas to choose from my personal favorite was with nopal...Some of the best tacos ever...the tripa were soft and very good...the campechano taco is a masterpiece...Find this place when in Mexicali !!!

Good enough portion and decent flavor, the vampiros are a good option except they’re really salty. They only have one type of salsa. They bring you radish and cucumbers and they charge if you need extra. The beverage selection is limited, the place is not well ventilated and the service is moody and forgetful, they pretty much want you to leave quickly. Not a place to stay for long but if you’re hungry and in a hurry this is the place.

Five stars (in the context of taco stands). It was a fun outing, good energy from the patrons and staff. Expect a line before you get seated, but it moves quickly. We were there at five on a Friday and the two of us were seated within ten minutes and our order taken within the next five. Unlike most taco stands where your order at the counter, there are waitresses at El Franc. Parking can be interesting, there is an adjacent parking lot staffed by attendants (who work for tips, should you feel so inclined) but getting out is not for the inexperienced or faint hearted. But, hey, it's TJ. What did you expect? Okay, on to the tacos. I ordered one adobada, one vegetarian, and one asada. They were all good. My favorite was the adobada, which they serve instead of al pastor--it's similar but there's no pineapple. You also get a plate of sliced cucumbers and radishes, which you can enjoy as a salad/palate cleanser, along with a generous bowl of sliced limes. The tacos come with onion, cilantro, salsa, and a generous dollop of mashed avocado on top. Each taco is fully loaded with meat (except for the taco vegetaranio, of course, which was surprisingly good). You may want to order a couple of extra tortillas and side cup of beans (I did). Overall it's a fun, affordable, and tasty experience.

We’ve tried tacos in many places, and Tacos El Franc in TJ truly stands out as some of the best—if not the best—we’ve ever had. We ordered both carne asada and lengua tacos, and neither disappointed. Both were cooked and seasoned to absolute perfection. The freshly handmade tortillas were the perfect finishing touch. It was easy to see why there was a long line of people waiting to sit down and enjoy their tacos. We decided to park nearby and order ours to go, and when we got home and dug in, we were not disappointed. This is definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to again, and I’d highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. 🌮

I found this place on Google maps and was glad I stopped by. This place lives up to the hype and the food/service is phenomenal. You can go wrong with anything here. The food is very fresh, the tortillas are amazing and the service is fast. There is sometimes a wait but the line moves fast. I highly recommend you check this place out!

Alot of people in line but it was a quick wait, server was on point and when we got our tacos was an amazing experience in each bite. My favorite was lengua and suadero..

Adobado tacos and horchata are delicious! *Cash only* They seem to have a good system for maintaining a queue outside and getting you in as fast as possible. There was a bit of a wait for one of the items we ordered and we ended up canceling it. It didn't seem to be the waitresses fault, rather the cooks. The check came with the USD conversion.

Finally made our way to this famous Taco Shop, Tacos El Franc. We might have been lucky and only waited about 10 minutes before being seated. We got Al Pastor, Suadero, Lengua and Cabeza. Al pastor was mildly seasoned which is a plus for me, Suadero was crispy. I'm used to soft Suadero, this one was good but not the best. Ordered the Lengua tacos with their hand made tortillas, these were the best out of all. Lengua was soft, flavorful and tacos packed with meat. Got their Horchata and Jamaica waters, both really good. Overall, I don't think they lived up to the hype. I recommend Tacos 3 Salsas, which are much better and atmosphere is fun and welcoming. It was still a good experience.

Best tacos in Loreto. Where the locals eat. Dropped by at lunch, ordered and had my first taco in less than 5 minutes. As soon as I stood up to empty my trash he had my second taco ready. Meaning each taco was hot off the grill. They were almost too hot to eat which added to the experience. Two salsa bars with fresh condiments. Their limeade was incredible. Had more than one table available last time I was there and counter service seating. Sit at the counter and enjoy watching your food being prepared. Eat here and enjoy!!

Great tacos, not a friendly owner/cook. I waited 45 minutes at take out with one other person. . Last year, an even longer wait. I just ordered 2 fish tacos to go but they made 4 so I bought all 4. 260 pesos. The guy next to me bought 3 of the same tacos and paid 140 pesos.

Delicious fish tacos and worth trying if you are in La Paz. They bring the tacos to your table and there is a condiments bar where you can add different toppings and sauces. There is also private parking if you are driving here so very convenient

We had high expectations for this place for being well known restaurant. Unfortunately the food was not all that. The fish was bland and the toppings did not add a lot of flavor to it. Still a solid place to have tacos but nothing special. BTW shrimp was better than the fish and the marlin was also a good choice.

Wow! This is where you want to go for amazing fish tacos! Food comes out hot, fresh, and crispy. Toppings bar is full and well maintained with lots of fresh options -- Pico, slaws, peppers, onions, and about 50 different sauces. It is inexpensive, easy, and gets you off the main drag to see some of actual La Paz.

Taco Fish in La Paz is an absolute must visit! We went here with a group of four for lunch and it was so good we ended up coming back for a second round. This spot is super casual with an awesome locals vibe, but the flavors are what really blew us away. I ordered the crab crunchy taco, shrimp crunchy taco, and the fish taco—all of them were incredible. We also got a mixed seafood ceviche for the table to share, which was super fresh and packed with flavor. The salsa bar was next level with such a huge selection of hot sauces, salsas, and toppings. Nice to customize each bite, especially for this spice queen. Hard to pick a favorite because everything was so good! The prices are super reasonable, making it an easy and budget-friendly spot to grab a delicious meal. Whether you’re just visiting or live nearby, Taco Fish is the kind of place you’ll want to keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

So we celebrated my daughter's birthday dinner here with friends. Outdoor seating was nice and yes indoor seating is offered. My daughter loves the Isabella pizza (it has cherries and bananas and my mind just went blank but something else, 😉). Me I'm good with the pepperoni pizza. The crust is thin and cooked on open fire. On the weekend the plaza here at Pino Payas location gets very busy but very exciting. On a weekend night you might hear the games going on the TV screens next door, karaoke, live music. Etc. There are restrooms for the customers but not sure if handicap accessible. The reason for the 4 stars is only because I like my crust bottom not so flimsy. But I've had it done right many times also so it depends on the cook I'm guessing. Photos included with this review. Def suggest checking it out!

Decent pizza but Crust was very thin and dry. Update. Went back last night to try their pasta. It was exceptional. Had the Chicken Fettucine Alfredo along with a strawberry salad mix. Oh my both were so good. If you go here I highly recommend both the Fettucine and the salad. Worthy of a 5 star rating. We'll go back again for sure before we leave.

Pretty good pizza 🍕 only funny thing we ordered an Italian pizza supposed to be Italian sausage they used hotdogs 🌭. So yea had my first hit dog pizza 2nd time went my Rosa pasta was good but service absolutely sucks. We ordered 4 simple pasta dishes. It took 15 minutes for the first one, and they brought them out one at a time. About 8 minutes in-between. So if you want to wait for everyone yo get their food and your first your food will be 🥶 . A lot of workers, many just sitting on their phones.

Wanted to love this place. Big time locals feel. Plenty of Canadians/Americans there. Just going to say this now. Count your drinks. Had 3 (three) of their margaritas which were great. Only problem, when I went to cash out, they added a few other drinks in there on the tab. Pay as you go here but a great joint as long as you keep count...

We found this gem on our walk to the plaza from Cabo Azul resort. We were delighted with fun and friendly conversation, amazing guacamole and chips, and wallet appeasing drink prices. We will go back everything we are back. I highly recommend!

The atmosphere here is sports-bar like. The owner likes to kid around. They have a big variety of mixed drinks that we didn’t try. We had the beef and shrimp tacos. You can see in the pictures that there are only 2-3 shrimp per taco but the beef ones are full. They tasted good though.

Great food. Chorizo and cheese was the fave. Nachos were good.The fries were the best. The cow on the road is a bonus. Guac to me was the best flavourful guac in all of san jose.

This place is a hidden gem... sort of like Cheers. but a Mexican version. Salvadore keeps Ceaser and Gill busing serving cocktails and extra cold beers. Live entertainment a couple afternoons.

Super fun little bar. Great owners, and excellent service. They are all very friendly with a good drink selection. It was fun to see a live band out on the road. This place is popular so get there early but there is the option to have drinks while you wait for your seats. Definitely recommend stopping in here, they love Canadians.

Tacos Salseados makes great elevated tacos. Both the shrimp and fish tacos were really great. The tacos felt eloquently made especially the salmon tacos. Unfortunately they are to rich and creamy for most peoples stomachs leaving mine and several others upset. I would go back any day though, overall great food and customer service.

My favorite place to go whenever I’m in Tj. The sauces are out of this world, my local friend always orders for me so i never know what I’m eating but whatever they create is… just so amazing. The quesatacos with any of there sauces will put a smile on your face. I always regret when I don’t order extra to go lol.

The presentation of the food looks great but for my personal opinion no flavor at all. I ordered a carne asada taco with cheese. The meet was actually cooked and not asada 🥺.

One of the best taquierias in n Tijuana. A hidden gem due to its location but those who know, know. Great selection of tacos, stuffed baked potatoes molcajetes and more! Today i ordered the arrachera stuffed potato. The meat and sauce were great. Ordered the taco new York and a taco salceado. Both were great. Some things that make this is place stand out. The sauces are delicious , full of flavor and can satisfy the spicy lover or the less than spicy person. Avocados were sliced and fresh. Tortillas were delicious and tasted homemade. Lastly the meat was delicious. Give it a try

Visiting Ensenada and saw this gem on TikTok and boy was I glad I came here. Tried the taco Ramses especial and that was very very good. Also tried the burrito marlin, marlin quesadilla, marlin empanadas and the taco de pescado chicharrón. Everything was very good as well as the salsas. The decor of the place was very cool and rustic and the customer service was excellent. Would definitely come back again if I’m ever in Ensenada.

The best tacos I've ever had in my life!!! If you don't speak Spanish and are too touristy, this won't be the place for you. Kind people, humble setting, but the food was unbelievable. I'm very glad I dragged my cousin along away from touristy areas to eat here. I'm not sure how it would go if you don't speak Spanish. I'm bilingual, so I ordered for both of us.

In a closed-down tuna processing plant, the food lives up to the ambience. Not your average baja taco!!

You walk in and you go up to the food counter to order.  I ordered the Marlin Taco, Fish Taco, Tuna Burrito and Consume.  It was a TON of food, I really really liked the Fish Taco tho.  On the side of the ordering counter you have a salsa bar.  I put the Chipotle sauce but it was super super spicy for me and I put way too much.  I really liked the Tuna burrito though.  After eating there is a cashier who collects the payment based on everything you ate. Overall it was a great start to the day but we ate way too much food, I was stuffed afterwards.

It’s cool Ordering is weird You kinda have to know but basically walk up to the stand and ask what you want, dress your tacos at the bar, and pay on the way out by the door

Food was really good here. Local shop bringing out the true flavors of Mexico. People working here were super friendly and this is a spot where locals and tourists both seem to enjoy.

This is our go-to place for tacos in Cabo. Our favorites are the tacos al pastor, arrachera, and the gringas (as much as we hate to admit it). I usually skip the pineapple on the Pastor tacos but others like it. Love the salsa, pico, and avocado sauce served with all meals — along with a plate of cucumbers and dish of limes. The service is fast and friendly. It’s casual — plastic tables and chairs — and/but the food and people make this a top choice for delicious tacos.

Ok ok , if you are staying at the resorts … don’t go to the restaurants in front come here …. Way better tasting food - this feels like Mexico. Just delicious highly recommend. Took me 3 days to find a good spot besides seafood but man this was really good .

Great little authentic street taco joint. Menu nice and big on the wall with 7 or 8 different taco choices, burritos, quesadilla, all the works. But NO cerveza! I enjoy an old fashioned coke. But dang I could use a beer with a taco! Still tacos were great, I had the al pastor and volcano. Both were above average. Very well priced ($6) for 3 good sized tacos.

Amazing street tacos. Meats sous vide and grilled to perfection in front of you. Lots of toppings you can add yourself. 45 pesos / taco, slightly more for some meats. You can sit on chairs at the curb side and watch all of the business of the area - this place is excellent!

Unpretentious taqueria serving excellent tacos. Came here with a group of friends late at night and we really enjoyed the food. Cash only, but there’s an ATM machine right across the street.

THE BEST TACOS in Cabo. Especially try the cattle head tacos if they're available. Truly delicious. Tons of condiments are provided and the tacos come with onions and cilantro on top. There's no seating but most people just stand and eat or sit on a nearby ledge or curb. I think the hours listed on Google are wrong because they didn't open til around 7pm.

it’s a classic street taco experience! it’s fast, friendly, affordable, and it tastes good. you can definitely “upgrade” to find better tacos in the area but they will cost 2-3x what gran pastor charges they also accept credit cards which is nice and they have some stools you can sit on near the shop to eat your tacos. the al pastor was really tasty and they have a little salsa and pickle bar right in front of the plancha.

Hands down, without a doubt....THE BEST tacos in Cabo. I go to Cabo twice and year and always hit up the taco stands or smaller restaurants that feature tacos. El Gran Pastor is THE BEST. Every time I come, there's at least 5-6 people in line. The owners are a cute couple that operate out of less than 50 SF of space. There are no tables but you're welcome to sit on the sidewalk or just stand around the area. IF the bar next door is open, you can eat there as long as you purchase a drink. Other thing to note is they have the best toppings. I never see grilled onions elsewhere. Here, they have it ALL! Keepin' it short....this place is a MUST!

This is one of the best tacos I had when I was is Cabo. Open later in the afternoon. I ate Al Pastor both the times. It was as delish as it could get. The only drawdown was difficulty to eat without a spot to place your plate on because the taco was so hot. But thats what street foods are.

Update: I freaked out when I got to Cabo last week, to see the old location of El Grand Pastor was all boarded up with a wood front. The bartender next-door pointed out EGP had moved into the next block. (walk against the one way to the new location). This is the secret go to place for dinner and late night. Update El Gran Pastor, usually opens about 7pm. Serving into the late night munchies & open Till 2 am . Carne, Pastor, Chorizo and other specialty meats, cabeza, lengue ! Try the mixed! help yourself to All the fixings in bowls (use tongs) ! The crew knows how to do it. I bring all my friends here. Always Consistently great. Since there is limited seating inside there are stools on the sidewalk. I usually get my order and head back to the small family run bar and catch a cerveza, for a good seat to watch TV & Street activity. Just up the street from the Jungle bar and Giggling Marlin. Highly Recommended! Reasonable prices and great fresh food (tacos). Note: No chicken or fish tacos. (Hit the other Taco places nearby for that)

After a long day of snorkeling, we stopped here for a meal before our journey home. We had some tacos de asada, tacos de pescado y camarón, a súper burro al pastor, and a hamburguesa. The micheladas and limonadas were refreshing! We enjoyed the great service and amazing views. Would highly recommend you stop here!

Definitely the best restaurant we visited in Cabo Pulmo! Nice tacos, which can be topped up at the buffet bar, right next to the beach and where a lot of the locals seem to go. Also, very reasonably priced. Could have a better selection of beer since S José is only a couple of hours drive away to stock up, however.

The food is great. Taco varieties are interesting to try. All the toppings are available for your selection. The guacamole and chips are excellent as is the margaritas. We ate here twice and both times service was great. It can be a little slow service when it is busy but that is because it is popular.

Tacos & Beer, being the *only* taco stand in Cabo Pulmo, is an absolute gem and its arrival to CP was a godsend. Good tacos, stiff drinks, and an amazing view of the ocean. Be careful though as the winds can be nuts in the winter.

This place is amazing. Every Taco I have had has been great. Don’t miss the salsa and toppings bar. The view is fantastic. The only negative is that the hours and days open seem very inconsistent.

Taco stand next to a michoacana. Close to the center and with many stores next to it. I crave them because its very simple, nostalgic, yet delicious! You usually stand eating the tacos because there's no space at rush hour but you don't mind as it's very relaxing. Very recommended! Shrimp and fish have a slight difference in thr breading but they are good.

Dam Very good fish tacos, we eate fish only althou there are are shrimp one's as well. we also a requested 2 orders ytongo ! that setup is great it has a big tray full of batered fried fish fresh salsa and tortillas included, order makes about 5 tacos. they will aslo ask you to pick between 2 hot sauces! great value. there is always a line to a little wait is worth it.

These tacos are famous. Like seriously featured in all YouTube videos about Ensenada, commented about, super hyped. I liked the efficient service, the clean clear containers, handing money through a plastic bag, and very generous servings of salsa, shredded lettuce, cucumber and radishes, and the sauces I would never be brave enough to try really looked delicious. The two "cremas" were mayonnaise and chipotle aioli. And, as for the fish, it was crispy, they have a very efficient technique for drying it at the border of the pan, and it was tasty. Was it tastier than El Johnny in Punta Banda? That would be a resounding "no". These folks are better organized and handled the long line very elegantly, though. Still a great experience!! I concur with the recommendations. Special mention to the staff.

Hands down best fish and shrimp tacos I had during my stay in Loreto - super fresh and tasty.

One of my favorite spots in Loreto. Their tacos are unmatched. I absolutely love their battered fish and shrimp tacos. Their grilled shrimp with cheese is excellent as is their grilled fish option. They provide you with chips and a tray that includes a multitude of sauces and toppings. The margaritas here are pretty great too!

This is by far our favorite restaurant. Everything we've had has been excellent.

Cesar's is the first place we take family and friends when they arrive in Loreto. First impressions can set the tone for an entire vacation and Cesar's is perfect in every way. Julio always greats us with a smile. The Margaritas are delicious as are the tacos heaped with fresh caught fish with all the trimmings.

Every year we come to Loreto and Caesars is the very first stop once the plane lands! Excellent food and margaritas! Love this local family business!

Delicious fish tacos and the prices are very reasonable. The owners are not the friendliest, but service is good. I highly recommend for lunch. Edit: I’m editing this post because on a return visit, I was warmly welcomed by the family who owns it. Everyone can have a bad day, especially when it’s 90 degrees outside.

It's a good place when you are in the area, the food is good as well and they have variety of options, from last time I have visited they reduced the portion sizes a little bit but still good. Please be aware that they do not take cards, is cash only and if you use dollars they will give you a low non-favorable exchange rate. I had the Marlyn tostada that day with shrimp on top. Been going here for a while for the Cahuatun, but recently the flavor has change the last 3 time I have gone it tastes different like to sour. Maybe the have changed the chef or something. So for now I ask to taste a bit before ordering it.

Cash only taco place with several types of seafood tacos. You order directly from the cook first. You pay after you'd had your meal. We went for lunch. Tacos are decent, the marlin taco with peppers and tomatoes was probably the best of the bunch. The place feels like it used to be someone's garage. It's a little rough around the edges.

We enjoyed Lalo's immensely! The smoothies!! Wow! The service was so friendly, and the waiter spoke perfect English....perfecto! 😁 The food was great too. When in Cabo, eat at Lalo's!

When we visited Cabo in November we had a lot of great food, but this by far was my favorite. The staff were more than helpful and friendly. The food was incredible. I cannot wait to go here again when we come back!

If you’re looking for a great authentic Mexican food and place in Los Cabos, this is definitely THE place to be. The food was just amazing and also for a very fair price. Totally different from the most of restaurants in Los Cabos, which are always trying to rip off the tourists. The staff are super friendly as well. Jesus and Damian were the ones taking care of us and they were very kind and nice. Great food, great price and great service. Totally recommend!

Tacos Lalo's is hands-down, one of the best food stops in Cabo San Lucas! We have gone back there many times because the service and the food is so good. Its hard to find a truly good place to eat in Cabo, but Lalos is the best food around with a great vibe and amazingly tasting Mexican food that is locally authentic! They serve breakfast and lunch and then close after that. I had the french toast for breakfast and later for lunch, an amazing chicken avocado sandwich on wheat bread that was delicious. The chicken avocado sandwich was my meal of choice during the several times we went there. Another unique aspect is the many surfboards on display with the Tacos Lalo name and logo on them. They do a great job of branding their place with signs and displays placed around the restaurant that draws attention to this excellent food stop. Another thing that i really liked was how CLEAN the place is. The bathroom was very clean, easily accessible and the floors were always freshly swept. The Tacos Lalos staff were always smiling and helpful and we always felt so comfortable there that it was such an easy choice each time we were in the city to pick the best food and easy going environment. If your want amazing food with a great local price and a beautiful environment, go to LALOS!

Excellent place to get some breakfast and lunch. Cafe Nomada has some great food. I've tried the avocado 🥑 toast with egg (amazing), the Acai bowl with coconut, fresh fruit and granola, and the Enchiladas Verdes and you can't go wrong ordering any of these menu items.

Two players with organic food and good coffee. The Wi-Fi is decent and the outdoor seating is nicely shaded. Breakfast was delicious

One of the best vegan sandwiches I’ve ever had. This restaurant is such a gem. Amazing food, nice people and lots of seating inside and out.

Went to have breakfast. My friend and I enjoyed the chilaquiles. The green sauce was very good and the eggs cooked perfectly. The only issue was the tortilla in the chilaquiles, very soggy. The green juice with Orange juice combo was refreshing. Our waitress, a kind lady with dark hair, was very friendly and attentive.

Ate here 3 times. Probably the best vegan food in La Paz plus they have plenty of vegetarian and meat options for everyone too. I always got the nomad vegan sadwhich which is their best entre. Also tried the tofu scramble and enmoladadas. Their smoothies and juices are amazing, tried a few different ones and they're all highly recommended. They sell hard to find organic grocery items too which were helpful for cooking in our airbnb. Fantastic service 👌 plus they have a very nice dog that our kids fell in love with

The vegan options here are so tasty and so filling! We came here for brunch twice on our trip and loved it both times. Great friendly service and really yummy flavors! The pesto in the vegan sandwich is just so good! Lots of avocado in it too makes for a 10/10 veggie sandwich that isn't lacking in satisfaction whatsoever!

Side salad was surprisingly delicious and so was eh rest of the food. The juices are fresh but the quantity can be better. Overall, a pinch pricey but great place for a healthy lunch

Don't get me wrong...the food was excellent...service is fantastic...my issue was paying above American prices in Mexico...$120 USD for breakfast is ridiculous for 6 people. 9 of us recently had breakfast in Mazatlan and were under 100 USD, granted 6 were Mexican citizens... I personally won't return because of that pricing but I also can't put this establishment down because the food and service are great. The owner really needs to have pricing attached to the menu...this is a great way to lose gringo business.

Amazing place, seeing it evolve to what it is now is awesome! New doors installed to keep heat and flies out with air conditioning! I’ve been steady coming here every time I visit algodones (5-7 times a year) for the last 15 years Molca the owner runs the show and is very pleasant, makes sure you’re served and treated right. He is also known to help locals out that cannot afford food themselves Much better meat quality and flavor than the places that are close to him. It’s always my goto and has been consistent ! Great selection of snacks and sauces when you order as well! DEFINALY try the breaded fish tacos ! My favorite there !!!!

Starts with chips, 2 salsas, green sauce and white sauce. Also a plate of shredded cabbage, pico de gallo and a bunch of cucumber chips. We split a grilled chicken plate: 2 legs, 2 wings and 2 thighs with rice and beans and pico and 5 tortillas. $10. Really! Service wag good, but let the amigo know when you are ready to pay.
