The 50 best cake shops and cake bakeries in Calgary

I visited your Kensington location in Calgary two weeks ago on a Saturday afternoon and requested a vanilla cake. The young gentleman assisting me assured me it was a confetti cake with vanilla on both the inside and outside. However, upon serving the cake, it turned out to be chocolate, which was a big disappointment, especially for the birthday girl who was really looking forward to enjoying her vanilla cake. For the price of $60, I was expecting the correct order, and it’s disheartening that such a special moment was impacted by this mistake. I’ve also reached out but have not received a response yet. I have included a photo of the cake as proof.

I recently bought mini cupcakes 🧁 a dozen of them and they were all stale, they should have taken them off the shelf. If they told me come back for fresh ones I would appreciate that. I bought it for a gift and I felt bad they turned out that way. I use to buy crave cupcakes and they had great service and better cupcakes before 🙁

Fantastic New Book. I love baking, tried 4 recipes so far. All great. Grandchildren approved, and close friends. Finally a cook book with many good recipes. Way to go Crave! thank you Kathy Pope.

The amount of options in this bakery...is wow (in a good way). They also offer seasonal goods. Their cupcakes range from mini to large in multiple flavours, moist and well made with icing (which can be too sweet for some). $21 for a dozen mini or can pay for 6 large. Their cookies here are also really good and soft with unique flavour options too - selling for $3 each. Have tried their delivery service and it is also very good and well organized. This place is a good place to treat yourself or a loved one.

I have been a customer at this location for the past few years and the staff that work here are amazing! I decided that this location, along with Crave Cupcakes as an entirety deserves this review. Staff are absolutely sonice and radiate with positivity and kindness, and the vibe of the place is amazing. The cupcakes are phenomenal and are amazing (red velvet by far is my favourite flavour) and I recently got a birthday cake as well that they created for me and it was beautiful (pictures inserted below). I ordered a custom 6 inch cake (its a wedding cake topper, so I had to order it through the phone centreline), and the baker did A BEAUTIFUL JOB! It was also reasonably priced too which was a huge plus. Pictures attached are the cake that was made for my birthday, along with mini cupcakes that were as small treats for my guests, and the red/blue cupcakes were a seasonal item for the Battle of Alberta Stanley Cup Playoffs months ago! I do have more pictures from over the course of me being a customer here but I won't have enough space to post them, oops~. Thank you Crave Cupcakes for helping me out with my birthday cake, along with being my first choice ever to treat myself whenever I want to! I will be a customer here forever until the end of time! :)

Cupcakes selection/flavour still lack variety, and taste as expected, but nothing extraordinary. The cupcake bases seem to be either between vanilla, chocolate, and red velvet just with the same few types of buttercream frostings. I find the frosting to be overwhelming in sweetness and also amount. The way that the frosting just hardens and comes off in one chunk speaks volumes about how much sugar is used. The cupcakes are moist (when fresh). Service I had at this location was fair, the employee serving me just had a monotone voice and flat expression. I also learned that a digital gift card (with a unique PIN code) cannot be used at the same transaction with another email offer (e.g. birthday discount), so that was a slight disappointment.

The bread and cakes here are of excellent quality and taste amazing. I will definitely come back on my next trip to Calgary. Although the refrigerator at our accommodation was small and not ideal for storing cakes, they still stayed fresh, kept their flavor, and held their shape perfectly. As for the bread, even though the brioche became slightly damp on the bottom while we stored it in a cooler, it turned out crispy and golden when toasted, and we truly enjoyed it. The croissant was also delicious, and next time I visit, I plan to try all the varieties available.

Absolutely the best - the instant you step inside the store, the scent floats you to a French bakery in middle of Paris. My all time favorite place for tasty, well balanced cakes with signature flavors.

We came by Yann Haute in search of another patisserie that suited our taste buds so we would have more variety. Overall, I would rate them 3.5 stars. I grabbed two cakes to try out and he got an almond croissant. The cakes were very well presented and eye-catching, though on the pricier side. The pastries were not as attractive and looked rather flat and a little overbaked. While I enjoyed the cakes overall, they were a bit on the sweet side. He found his croissant dry and didn't like it too much. I would probably pop by again if I was in the area, but wouldn't make a special trip here.

9/19/2025: I had read about their macarons and had to stop in to try it. I'm pretty particular about macarons and really only found a couple that I like. This place is now included on my list of macarons. The shell is soft and doesn't really have a crisp shell however the filling is delightful. Fluffy and not too sweet.

This pastry shop is absolutely delightful! Everything is fresh, beautifully made, and tastes amazing. The croissants are buttery and flaky, and the cakes are rich and flavorful. The staff are kind and welcoming, and the place smells heavenly. Perfect spot for coffee and treats — highly recommend to everyone

Still the best almond croissants in town after all these years. For about $6, the almond croissants are very good value. The other pastries were not bad. Highly recommend.

Definitely the best patisserie in Calgary that I have come across so far. The cakes not only look pretty but are crafted with real detail, have different layers/ components and are not too sweet. Great service too. Not the cheapest cake you can find, but you can certainly taste the difference.

We were very pleased with our chai flavoured wedding cake from Pretty Sweet Bakeshop! The cake was absolutely delicious, and every bite was full of incredible flavour. We went with a simple design, but the presentation was still stunning, and it fit our wedding perfectly. The customer service was top-notch as well, and Vicki was so great to work with, taking the time to ensure everything was exactly what we wanted. They truly went above and beyond to make sure our cake was not only beautiful but also a hit with all our guests. If you’re looking for a wedding cake that’s both gorgeous and flavourful, I highly recommend Pretty Sweet Bakeshop! Plus their cake tasting to-go options serve as a wonderful date night!

Vicki Manness and her team did a phenomenal job on our wedding cake. She was super helpful and even let us do different flavored tiers. The cake turned out identical to our inspiration photo. My husband and I live in Edmonton, and chose pretty sweet bake shop Calgary for our wedding cake SOLELY off reviews and photos. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint. I had the pleasure of dealing with Vicki Manness who made the entire process from start to finish seamless and easy. The cake was gorgeous, VERY tasty (the entire table was making sounds lol) and packaged well. We took our cake to Canmore for our ceremony the next day and it stood through travel and bags of ice. The flowers were fresh and designed so well. Thank you very very much for an incredible cake and experience. I can’t wait to use you guys for our one year anniversary and get cupcakes to match, so we can relive the experience lol. 10/10

Ok, so I work at a restaurant in the NW and tonight I had the extreme pleasure of one of my tables graciously giving me one of these cupcakes, and….WOW!! First impressions: When I was loading them onto a nice tray, me and another manger noted that these were some of the moistest looking cupcakes we had ever seen (and we see a lot of cake and cupcakes that guests bring in). Also the buttercream looked Sooooo silky smooth, which as a passionate home baker I appreciate because I know it takes extra attention to detail to get all those air bubbles out. After dropping them off at the table I had to ask where they were from because we had many servers stop us to ask where they were from because the looked so delicious, and the lovely table let us in on the little secret, that is you guys! Later when I brought the few remaining cupcakes back (like I said originally) they gave me one, and after a long day this cupcake did not disappoint! It was the most moist, not to sweet and perfectly balanced , silky smooth cupcake I have EVER had! Next time I am in the south I will definitely be coming to check you out ❤️ Ps. Beautiful delicious cake! We got the peanut butter and jelly flavour, a little sweet but still very good! The cake was moist! Would recommend!!

Had breakfast and few croissants to serve and few for home. And an organic sourdough wholewheat bread. All pastries absolutely incredibly fresh, not greasy, very flavourful and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside-just perfect balance. The sourdough bread is probably the best in Calgary-perfect crust, perfect gooeyness and the perfect amount of holes as well-taste-perfect for my liking’s. The sandwiches: just perfect balance within the amount of ingredients and bread. Nicely cured salmon-decent amount, good quality avocado and great dark orange eggs/yolks. Never been disappointed at sidewalk citizen bakery. Great stuff as well, very interesting characters all around. Nice atmosphere-positive vibe all around.

Nice Bakery on the river front. The staff were nice friendly and in a good mood. I tried a couple things a slice of the Orange cranberry cake with brown sugar frosting it was delightful. I also tried their Quiche it was flavorful. Items are on the smaller side but I enjoyed my breakfast with a nice latte and sat outside relaxing under the sun. Bathroom and establishment were clean.

Best croissant and pain au chocolate I’ve had in Canada other than in Quebec! The pictures don’t do them enough justice. So yummy!

I love it here. One of my favourite spots to hang out on the weekend. Their breakfast sandwiches are incredible and so are the pastries I’ve tried. I love the location and how close it is to the river too. During winters, the interior is nice and cozy and great for a coffee work date.

Great bakery, i love everything they serve honestly. This is my go to place everytime I want something amazing to eat. Their sandwiches are also the best - they change daily/weekly so you gotta try them all! They also have a patio - it’s right by the water & is a great spot to grab a coffee/ walk your dog or walk by yourself.

Beautiful location right by the river. The granola, almond croissant and egg bun were scrumptious. You get your drinks from the nearby coffee roastery. The brick building and wooden chairs and tables adds to the overall experience. They also have outdoor seating. Great way to spend a weekend morning!

We’ve been coming here every time we want something different and delicious. We had croissants and sandwiches today, they were freshly made, you could taste the difference. Staff are friendly.

I had a cheese bun at Richmond's pub a few years back, so I went to finally buy some, since it's far out of my way, and apparently they don't have actual buns. What they did have was a bag of bits and pieces of cheese buns. I'm terribly disappointed. I went to the sausage shop next door, (highly recommend), and one of the staff mentioned they were under new management, and were sad about that change. Do better, please. I've posted a picture for scale, which was the biggest one of the batch. I'm not sure how you make a sandwich out of that. I had the stuffed bun at Richmond's pub, and it was a proper large, round bun. They're delicious, but I was looking forward to making sandwiches with them.

We’ve been loyal patrons of Glamorgan Bakery for years and it’s truly one of the best. Their cheese buns are unmatched (nothing else even comes close). We have a special tradition of getting baby cakes for our late son’s birthday, and the team always makes them with such care and quality. Even though I’ve developed a gluten intolerance, I still pick up their treats for my husband and guests because they’re that good. Forever a favourite. 💛

the whole wheat cheese bun is not that great as market. there is barely any cheese use. Lemon poppyseed loaf is very sweet. I notices there are no nutrition label on their bake goods. places is small and parking area is crowded. Quite a disappointing experienced

Ordered my birthday cake online. Smooth transaction. I ordered the mini carrot cake with cream cheese filling and buttercream frosting. The cake had no raisins, which I loved. I do wish the cake had more spice. My birthday cake was Gilmore girls themed. It turned out very nice. I bought a bag of the cheese buns to take on a picnic. They're ok but I find them greasy.

Cheese buns are the go-to product here and just tried the new chocolate buns: now I have 2 favourite items from here. Cant beat the quality of this bakery. Highly recommend.

I just had the most wonderful experience ordering a cake from Glamorgan Bakery for the very first time, and I couldn't be happier! I kept hearing amazing things about their famous black forest cake, so I thought I’d check it out and see what all the buzz was about. I picked up a lovely strawberry shortcake for my daughter and a rich black forest cake for her dad, and oh my goodness—both cakes were absolutely delicious! They were super fresh, wonderfully moist, and so beautifully decorated. A huge thank you to the friendly staff and talented bakers at Glamorgan Bakery for making my first visit so special. I’m already excited to order cakes for our future celebrations!

We have a few items that we LOVE from this bakery. Their Texas donuts are the best! We also love the glazed cinnamon twists and cheese buns. It can be quite busy depending on the time of day but we find when they first open or just before supper the best time. But, some items can sell out!

I've been buying sandwiches here occasionally for the past few months, normally they are fantastic, but what i bought today shocked me. I had already eaten 3/4 sandwiches before realizing there was MOLD growing on the cheese and ham in small amounts. absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. will not be returning.

We got to try a dozen of their fruit tarts and they were very enjoyable. The tarts themselves were crispy and were covered with a dark chocolate layer. The fruits were sweetened on the outside as well. It was a nice mixture of textures between the soft custard, crispy tart, and fruit. In terms of proportions of the tart, I would have preferred a thinner crust (and more custard in the tart) and it was sometimes hard to appreciate the custard due to the chocolate overpowering it. I look forward to trying out some of their other baked goods in the future!

Had 2 cake for birthdays. They make eggless cake on order, Found it nice ; kids enjoyed it ..!! Service was on time..!!

Me and my husband got this cake for my cousin’s welcome. There was a hair in this cake. The girls did not smile once while serving us. It was very unwelcoming environment. This happened on August 23.

*this review is for our most recent experience only* We have been ordering birthday cakes from them for awhile now, and never had any issues - always order for pick up at 10, on a Saturday, and the cakes are always delicious. Last week, however, when I went to pick up a birthday cake for my son, the cake was still not ready at 10:45 (same for the gentleman in front of me), while I saw a lot of cakes in the fridge for 10 AM pick up. It was finally ready at 11 (no explanations offered on why it was late), and while it looked okay at first, there are signs of “being rushed” upon close inspection. The bottom had couple places that were “caved” in, cake crumbled as soon as I cut into it, the cake/sponge itself was extremely dry, and the cake just did not taste very good. We will continue to be a customer, but I hope this won’t happen to us again.

Best apple strudel in Calgary. These guys do all sorts of custom cakes and have been in business for over 35 years. They probably have the largest selection of cake toppers I’ve ever seen for a bakery. And large variety of pastries from European desserts to gluten free cakes. It’s one of the few bakeries in town that can do both gluten free and dairy free cakes.

I pre-ordered a strawberry Mille-Feuille 3 weeks in advance with very clear instructions: just strawberry crème patisserie with puff pastry, nothing on top. What I got cannot be called a Mille-feuille and my wife’s birthday was not what we hoped for. 80% of the cake went in the garbage. Also, after leaving a specific time for pickup I had to wait for 15 minutes while slapped it together. Amateur at best.

I came here for the Easter Afternoon Tea and had a wonderful experience. The selection of sweet and savory bites was both generous and delicious, and at $50 for two people, it was great value. A thoughtful touch was the cookie they gave us to take home—it made the experience feel even more special. My favorite part was definitely the Easter-themed macarons—they were not only adorable but also tasted great. I’m already looking forward to coming back to try more of their baked goods. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a charming afternoon tea experience!

The owner is truly exceptional! She created the cake for my wedding, and it was not only beautiful but absolutely delicious. From start to finish, she was a pleasure to work with—professional, kind, and clearly passionate about what she does. You can tell her desserts are made with love and genuine care, not just for business. I wholeheartedly recommend this café for any special occasion—you won't be disappointed!

Went for “High tea”. Food was very good, however, the tea was bland and had no flavour ( we ordered creamy earl grey). One thing that puzzled me is that the table set up was lacking. No teaspoons were provided, and the milk for tea was served in a regular glass with a spoon in it. We had to stir our tea with a knife. Everything just seemed random I feel that maybe this establishment should do a little research in table set up and etiquette.

So satisfied with the quality of their cakes! Tiramisu and salted caramel cheesecake were the best amongst all the cakes ive ordered. My cravings satisfied and my hearts full

So happy that Sucre is still around even though they no longer have the kiosk in the Brookfield building downtown. They are still one of my favourite bakeries in the city and I love that there's something different once in awhile. Really great selection of traditional French pastries ilke butter croissant and pain au chocolate....so some weirder (but still delightful!) options like the "2D croissant". There are also gluten free options like mochi donuts! I look forward to stopping by anytime I have an appointment in the area.

Came to try the viral fruits and left with an extra caramel banana crunch croissant. The croissant was amazing. My favourite of the fruits was the mango and the bunny but the lemon and strawberry are still lovely. It was a bit of a walk to get to them but I would do it again!

we ordered the strawberry chiffon cake for a birthday party. We ordered 4 days ahead of time. ordered online which was very smooth and simple. the pick up was flawless and the cake was DELICIOUS! Moist and flavourful while not being too sweet at all. the guests loved it. 8inch was enough for 12 people.

I recently ordered two cakes from this bakery for my son’s first birthday party. The adorable highland cow cake was for the adults and it was absolutely delicious! And the cute little blue cake was a baby-safe option for my little guy to smash and eat, which he sure did! We couldn’t be happier with how these cakes turned out and we would definitely order from here again!

Ordered a carrot cake with a printed picture for my husband’s birthday. The cake was insanely delicious, made from quality ingredients and the presentation was incredible. I couldn’t be happier! I recently ordered a custom decorator choice cake from cake bake shoppe. The service was immpecable and the cake itself was absolutely delicious, everyone enjoyed it. This would be the first time, everyone ate the cake the cake at the party. Thank you so much for making the cutest last minute rubble-paw patrol cake for my LO. I cant wait to order again. I haven’t tried the cupcakes yet, but I feel compelled to write a review strictly on service. My son fell asleep in the car on our way to pick up his bday cupcake. I couldn’t just leave him in the car to run in grab the cupcakes and leave. In a panic I called the store and was able to order and pay over the phone while the kind girl brought out my order to the car. Not many would go out their way to do something so simple, but it means so much. We’ll be coming here from now on.

Have been a long time enjoyer of Wow Bakery goodies despit them being a bit pricey. In my opinion I do feel like they open pretty late for a cafe, and upon arriving 15-20 minutes after opening, there was very little selection left and it was not even a weekend! Maybe business was just really good that day, but it was a bit disappointing to see. The pastries that I did grab, were good as usual!

Wow Bakery & Café is a wonderful spot in Calgary — very convenient location with easy parking nearby. The café is clean, bright, and tastefully decorated, creating a welcoming atmosphere that feels peaceful and well cared for. The pastries are beautiful, made with great attention to detail. There’s a nice selection of cookies, breads, and macarons, all of excellent quality. The coffee is rich and well prepared, more on the dark roast side — not my usual preference, but still very good. Cozy and bright spot in the heart of Marda Loop to enjoy tasty desserts and drinks. I tried the Belgian Chocolate Cake, it was rich in chocolate flavour; however, the texture was a bit dense. The Strawberry Matcha was good! There are many options to choose from, and the staff were kind.

A very clean location with a variety of baked goods. This bakery is a Korean based one Purchase their green tea chiffon cake ($32). The cakes made here have a wispy, light, fluffy, simplistic yet artsy look to them. Overall - Light in flavour meanwhile the cake is heavily doused in house made whipping cream (sweeter than any store bought one and without the artificial aftertaste, it makes you appreciate it a lot more). It is a very well made cake without having you feel weighed down. Even though the green colour really peaks through beautifully in this cake, the green tea wasn't strongly flavoured (for someone who loves green tea flavoured items, this may not be for you then) and I would say it was more of a hint of the green tea flavouring with majority of it tasting of a vanilla/egg base flavour (neutral tasting). The service is efficient and good here - also provides unique long candles for birthdays.

Not your typical bakery. You wont find much of a regular bread or buns there. However a lot of different type of sweets and cakes, snacks etc. Located In marda loop makes it a great stop by point, give it a try :) you can have a coffee and other snacks inside so that's a good idea for colder day!

First time here. A great selection! Tried the Earl Grey Swiss roll & the Meringue Cookies; AMAZING! Price is very reasonable. Looking forward to trying out the cakes! Very friendly staff and the store is tidy and inviting!

Macarons baking 101 with Ollia Macarons & Tea! What a great way to spend a fun evening with friends, work mates, or siblings! Making macarons is not foolproof, but it sure is tasty! David, the owner, was our instructor, and he put everyone at ease. We got a bit of history while learning how to make these delicate patisseries. There was definitely alot of laughter in the class! Merci beaucoup David, and Lindsey for the delicious tea and macaron samples.The best part of the class is taking home 2 dozen of our masterpieces...😁

I recently took a macaroon-making class with my girlfriends, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of delicious aromas. The owner David was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and made the entire process so much fun even for beginners like us! We learned step-by-step how to make the perfect macaroons, from whipping the meringue to piping and filling with the most heavenly ganache. Not only did we walk away with a box of gorgeous (and tasty!) treats, but also new skills and great memories. It was the perfect girls' night out creative, relaxing, and a little bit indulgent. Highly recommend this class for anyone looking for a fun activity with friends, a unique date idea, or just a chance to treat yourself!

I’ve ordered a box of 24 macarons for my husband birthday. Literally just 4 of all flavours were fresh and soft. All others were very dry and crumbly. I was very disappointed as it was a gift. Two stars for Earl Gary and Vanilla

I had such a wonderful experience at the macaron-making class at Ollia Macarons & Tea! The instructor was incredibly friendly and sweet, and she did a fantastic job explaining each step of the process, including why each technique was important for making light, airy, and delicious macarons. It was perfect for beginners and made the whole experience fun and approachable. During our break, we were treated to a selection of Ollia’s own macarons along with some absolutely delicious teas—such a nice touch! The shop itself was clean, cozy, and very inviting. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone looking to learn something new and enjoy a lovely evening out.

Absolutely love this place! The food is very tasty, the desserts are delicious, and the sandwiches are amazing. They also have really good tea. I was very impressed with the design of the café — everything looks so stylish and thoughtfully put together, with colors that match perfectly. The atmosphere feels modern and cozy at the same time. The staff are very friendly and easy to talk to, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

I barely give anyone any review but I couldn’t resist giving Mari a 5⭐️ because of their Sourdough bread. I have been searching for sourdough bread that made from a real sourdough starter and I am very impressed. It is definitely the best sourdough bread I’ve had so far. Most importantly, we are in this economy where everything is increasing and I found that their price is very respectable (cheaper than many bakeries in the city) but higher quality. I’ll be a regular at Mari 😍

There is a reason this place always has a lineup, always worth the wait. Incredible range of baked goods and the sourdough base for their breads is especially fantastic. I love how many sweet and savory options they offer and the coffees are really tasty too. The roll cakes are a favourite, and the baked breakfast options always seem to have a new flavor or a different style of pastry. The sandwiches are also delicious and perfect if you want to grab something and then go to the park across the street. Top notch and part of my weekend morning routine to stop by and grab something.

Sweet Nothings, Sour Service: My recent visit to Mari Bakeshop was a study in contrasts. On the one hand, I had one of the best pastries I've tasted in a long time. On the other, the overall experience was severely hampered by uninviting service and a generally sparse atmosphere. The Pastries: A True Delight The undisputed star of the show here is the baking. I tried the Honey Almond Danish and choux and it was absolute perfection. Flaky, buttery, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients and expert skill. Every bite was worth the visit, and it's clear the baker here is a master of their craft. If you're purely chasing an excellent sweet treat, this is the place. The quality is genuinely outstanding and worth seeking out. The Atmosphere: A Lack of Warmth Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn't live up to the food. The shelves that presumably hold retail goods or ingredients were nearly bare, giving the space an unloved or temporarily closed feel. It lacks the cozy, bustling energy you expect from a great local spot. I did not have a chance to try what I have been wanting to try like the sourdough loaf, pain au chocolat, and the famous pistachio brulee. The Staff: A Cold Brew of Attitude What truly spoiled the experience, however, was the service. From the moment I stepped up to the counter, the staff were unfriendly. There was a greeting, no smile, and my questions about the menu were met with short, clipped answers. It felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. A little warmth goes a long way. The lack of basic hospitality here is a significant drawback. The Verdict Mari Bakeshop is a frustrating paradox. The pastries are easily five-star quality—they are truly exceptional and you should go just for the baked goods. However, the combination of unwelcoming staff and the uninviting, empty-shelved interior means the total experience drops it down considerably. I went to BOTH locations and did not find what I have been wanting to try. Go here if: You can grab your amazing pastry to go and don't mind cold service. Skip here if: You're looking for a comfortable spot to linger or value friendly interactions with your barista. Rating: 3/5 stars (5 for the food, 1 for the service/ambiance)

DID SOMEONE STEAL MY BREAD? We have been going to this place since they were East Village. This morning I went there for 2 whole wheat sourdough bread and a sourdough baguette. There were about 5 people in front of me and another 5 people behind me. There were 6 or 7 staffs to help customers. When it was my turn, I told one of them what I needed then the other one told me just keep moving to check out. When I was going to pay, I had to let different staff know what I got. The 4th staff gave me two bags of bread, but those were not mine. I needed to let them know again what did I ordered. Finally, I got my stuff. BUT when I checked my bread I realized one of my sourdough whole wheat wasn’t a complete bread. My order wasn’t a complicated one. I don’t know how they couldn’t get it done well.

If you're looking for a fine-dining, bougie bakery experience in YYC, Mari Bakeshop is a must-visit. Everything here is absolutely delicious—especially the choux, which is a standout. Located in the heart of Bridgeland, it’s the perfect spot to grab a coffee and a treat before strolling through nearby Murdoch Park. A true gem for pastry lovers!

We tried a free sample of pumpkin cheese cake. My wife ordered a single pumpkin cheese cake, I choose banana Carmel I believe the name is . Both were good . The pie crust thickness and ratio to filling was unbalanced. As well a little under cooked . The coffee had no flavor 😩. It tasted like the grounds had been used twice .

I have always been a fan of Pie Junkie since they opened their first location in Kensington. However, I was so elated to learn they opened a location in West Calgary. I visited this place last Thursday, and the woman staff member provided me the best service. I went in there for a quick treat, but she convinced me to buy a loaf of bread (it was absolutely delicious). The service alone reinforced my admiration for this bakery and all its locations.

Love pie junkie, it's a place that has turned me into a pie lover and I was devastated when they closed down their kensington location. In any case, I've gone to usually ordering the pies through delivery now (uber eats)--I just want to show my appreciation of this place, as I had ended up with the wrong pie/order but whoever I had talked to over the phone (on Jul 27, around 12:20pm), found a way to not only compromise but fix the mistake (going above and beyond) which is something I am thankful for. Thank you so much. The pies are delicious as always, service especially--exceptional.

They pies where really good, a bit on the pricy end I think it was like 7$ a pie. The Key lime is amazing.

I have finally found a manufacturer that sells all different individual types of pie… The sizing comes in all handheld to fold dinner sizes but the thing that makes this so unique is the actual pie crust that is delicious

Now I understand I ordered gluten free doughnuts so they won't be the same as what I have been used to but these doughnuts were extremely dry and hard. I ordered the maple bacon flavor and it was pretty underwhelming. Regular doughnuts might be better but for people with a gluten free allergy, I would look elsewhere.

Although they did not have a lot of doughnuts when we visited, there were still maple bacon doughnuts! The limited selection of doughnuts was still delicious. It was my first time trying a maple bacon doughnut so plus points to Jelly for making me obsessed with the flavour.

Found a quiet little dude but spot hiding in this quiet area of the sun core building! Donuts were good! Excellent price to speciality donuts! Lady working was super nice.

Very creative doughnut styles and flavors. I think out of everything I got, the maple bacon was my favorite. These doughnuts are more on the pricey side but just look at them! It’s completely worth it.

The donuts we got were delicious. My fav was the lemon one with the berry jam center, but my wife and kids loved every one of the flavors we got. I was disappointed at the amount of options, though. I prefer savory breakfast, so when we go to donut shops, I usually get a breakfast sandwich, croissant, or a kolache (if we’re in Texas), but there weren’t any savory options.

It was my first time to visit here. My favorite was the croissants with ham and cheese. Even though it cost 8.50 for each, but the filling with cheese and ham made it very tasty. They had many tarts, the New York cheese tart is good, the dark chocolate was the best. The pistachio eclair is creamy and not sweet. After I placed my order they got a little busy and took longer time to get my drink right. Overall, the croissants are yummy, I will go back to eat more.

Cute place with a patio! But too bad the food isn’t good. This is the driest and hardest bread/ croissant I’ve ever had in my entire life. The “French Onion Soup” was the biggest disappointment. Felt like I was drinking salt water, because I could taste nothing but salt. I even had to order a whole big baguette to eat with that tiny little bowl of soup. Total cost was more than $20 for everything and I disliked everything. Do not recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this cozy cafe. The pastries were freshly baked and tasted like homemade cookies. The coffee was also great, considering the quality and volume. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our experience even better. We’ll definitely be back!

This place is incredibly overpriced. We ordered two baguettes and two orange juice. It was $50 and the portions are VERY small. The baguettes were cold, the bread was hard to chew and no sauce. In another place this would be less than $30 for two people. I will never come back. I felt exploited.

The blueberry almond tart was amazing. The sandwich however was awful. No seasoning anywhere apart from the butter. No moisture anywhere except for the tomatoes. The baguette is the worst part. This is the kind of sandwich I'd expect from Tim Hortons. Also the decision to have single use plastics for water was disappointing. I'd return for the pastries but not for the entrees.

Food was good, but not great. We tried the eclairs,it was okay. Cappuccino was good. Croissant wasn't great but the ambience was nice and lively.parking spots are very limited.

The café was okay overall. My spinach and feta croissant didn’t really have much feta, which was a bit disappointing. It was super busy and hard to find a seat, but the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

I was pleasantly surprised by this spot! The food was absolutely wonderful, with a creative and well-priced menu. I had the banana bread French toast (the smaller portion, which I really appreciated being able to choose a kid portion) — and it was delicious. I visited around 1 PM, and it was packed — not a single open seat and quite loud, but the energy added to the experience. From the outside, tucked away in a strip mall, you’d never guess how great it is inside. Excellent value overall, and I’m already looking forward to going back!

A little underwhelmed by breakfast (benedict) and the coffee, it was all just okay. Some parts of the restaurant are a bit run down. Service was great. The dessert I got to go was fantastic.

The service here is great - even when it’s busy! The food is great quality, with large quantity. Recommend one of the B.A.B.S. Breakfast sandwiches on croissant buns, very unique and very tasty. The mocha is rich and delicious.

Amazing restaurant! The food was outstanding (Albaloo Polo with chicken, Lima bean rice with lamb neck, and Kase Kabob were all delicious). The food presentation was beautiful — they even served the rice wrapped in bread (like a Persian boghcheh). Loved the complimentary appetizer and free tea after the meal. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and they host a Persian Night with authentic food every Friday. Highly recommend! 🌸

The service is very good. The burger was perfect, very filling. The lamb shank was okay, was not as flavourful as I was expecting. It is very tender and juicy though. Vegetables are cooked really well.

Came for a weekday lunch! Had the duck bab, but I think I’ll get the piggy next time— the candied bacon was so good. Half price baked goods were also a great deal— loved the banana bread and cookies.

Amazing Persian food that took us back to Iran! We ordered Kasse Kabab and Albalo polo, both of which were great and tasteful. Wish they had more Persian nights!

We were eager to try this place out after seeing photos of their pastries online. The accessible door open button did not work which is important with a wheelchair and impossible if you came alone. My wife had the Black Forest Fog which she loved! I wanted the Praline Latte but they were out of the Praline flavouring and settled for the Moccacino Ganache latte which was tasty. I had the Moccacino croissant to go with the coffee. The outside was more dry than I would have liked but the inside was nice and gooey. My wife had the Mango Coconut which she really enjoyed and was rich in flavour. We each also had a Pain au Chocolate as they looked so good. Unfortunately they seemed quite lacking in chocolate (see photo). We would stop by for drinks but likely not the pastries.

If coffee and pastries aren’t your thing - they should be. This place is hands down the best Pâtisserie I’ve been too in Calgary. I seek out almond croissants in every city and town I venture through across Canada, and so far…I’ve found my #1 favourite. Make this your Sunday stop and try the real caramel latte and an almond croissant. You won’t be disappointed!!

High Tea is Amazing!!! The high tea is wonderful. Includes a variety of sandwiches, baked good and desserts. The staff is friendly. Come with an empty stomach so much yummy food!!

This used to be my favorite bakery, they had a terrific tiramisu I got one last week and it’s super dry and almost no coffee flavour in it Couldn’t finish it! Same happened with the Mille feuille and their hot chocolate Quality is declining I really hope they go back to their standards They used to offer exceptional products now it’s all dry and tasteless

Paired with a velvety latte, it was a moment of pure indulgence. I also enjoyed their pear croissant, but to be honest, every croissant I’ve tried here is in a league of its own. Whether filled with pear, raspberry, or Saskatoon berry, they’re consistently the best croissants I’ve found in Calgary. No shortcuts, no compromise. The dough is airy yet buttery, the fillings generous and refined. This is pastry with integrity. The coffee is equally well-crafted, offering smooth, bold flavor that speaks of quality beans and a good barista’s hand. While this is not an inexpensive place, it is true French patisserie, and every bite justifies the price. It is a treasure to be savored slowly. The shop is located conveniently on 17th Ave SW, with cozy indoor seating and a few outdoor tables. There’s a charm to the space, though I gently encourage a little upkeep in two areas: the baseboards and counters could use a fresh coat of paint, and the pastry display glass deserves a deep clean to let the beauty of their creations shine through. These are not complaints, but humble suggestions to further elevate the visual experience. We’ve also enjoyed their stand at the Calgary Farmer’s Market. It’s only a shame that, due to vendor regulations, they’re unable to serve their excellent coffee there. Staff are typically warm and welcoming, many of them Francophone. The coffee here is hands down the best I've had since arriving in Canada — rich, perfectly brewed, and smooth. The real star, though, is the selection of pastries. Each one is a work of art, but the **blueberry lavender croissant** is on another level. It's a heavenly balance of flavors — the blueberry is just the right amount of tart, and the subtle hint of lavender takes it to a whole new dimension. Truly, it’s *to die for*. Went here for afternoon tea. This was not a typical afternoon tea. The pros are the croissants they offered were really good. Perfectly baked. The dessert provided was quite good. The savory items were ok. I didn't like the ham croissant sandwich. The salmon sandwich was good. I gave atmosphere a three out of five because we were placed in the back of the cafe. It is a small cafe. There wasn't much of a vibe in terms of music playing or anything. Cons: for afternoon tea this was way too much croissants! I get they are trying to do their own spin on afternoon tea but this felt like just a bunch of croissants I was eating. They could have cut back on the croissants (keep the almond and raspberry ones as they were delicious). I would have appreciated more savory items. You get a lot of food but there are a lot of croissants.

Used to be my go-to spot a few years ago, but the quality has consistently been going downhill. I stopped in for a chocolate croissant this morning and paid $5 for a dry, stale croissant with a tiny piece of chocolate in one half. Unfortunately the $1 grocery store ones are better.

The cakes look really cute. But they are just that…cute. You dont really get alot of actual cake because its 70% icing/cream. I dont think they are worth the price. I got the ginger cookie and loved it.

I’ve visited this bakery for years. When I was younger I used to save up my allowance to buy baked treats from this place because the pastries and customer service were always great. Recently though, I’ve found the staff have been super rude. Last time I went, the girl behind the counter was restocking some jars, and refused to acknowledge my presence. I totally get if you’re in the middle of something - but you can say hi and ask a customer to give you a minute. Prior to that a staff member was short with me for using the wrong term to describe a pastry with no label… Staff seem annoyed at the presence of paying customers. Really sucks because I’ve loved this place for years and after the way I was treated the past couple times - will not be coming back.

Management is disrespectful and wouldn’t take me seriously. Used to be a frequent flyer here but my last few visits have been awful. Cakes are dry, service is dry and am constantly being skipped over in line. While this used to be my great escape, I feel downright stressed coming here now. There are many wonderful small bakeries that exceed Yum’s quality and don’t charge an arm and a leg. I don’t recommend.

Dang we had an amazing brunch here this morning! I had the Polynesian beef sandwich with homemade soup. So fresh, so much flavour! My wife had the beet, brussel sprout, pecan salad and mushroom toasts with eggs. Generous portions, sophisticated flavours, and fast friendly service. Exceeded our expectations! Will definitely be back to try more dishes and hit their bakery cafe in the back!

Absolutely fabulous brunch experience at the Bistro! They have a very clean and friendly establishment. The patio and outdoor seating is very nice and dog friendly, with both shady and sunny spots and lots of walking traffic to enjoy people watching. The menu has a bit of everything, the gluten free bread option was good although a very seedy style. The drinks came quickly with options for orange, pineapple and grapefruit mimosa's, and the cesar also hit the spot. Portion size was perfect! Will definitely be putting this in the regular rotation and coming back to try the bakery inside!

By far the best Dubai chocolate style dessert i've had in the city...Lots of pistachio filling and delicious fresh strawberries made this one of my favourites for sure. I also grabbed a matcha cupcake which wasn't a fan of but still worth trying if you are into cupcakes with a filling inside. There was also a nice selection of cake jars which are worth trying as well, i picked the Lotus biscoff & it did not disappoint:)

I had the pleasure of visiting Made by AKB, and everything was absolutely amazing! I tried the viral Dubai strawberry cup, cake jars, and bars, and each treat tasted fantastic! The flavors were incredible, and it’s clear that every item is made with so much care and attention to detail. The vibe of the store was great as well. The chairs were super comfortable, and the music set the perfect tone, making it a great spot for a quick caffeine fix or to get some work done on their spacious tables. The environment was cozy yet efficient, and I loved how clean and organized everything was. The customer service was top-notch! Ashima made some excellent recommendations, and her suggestions were spot on — everything was delicious. I truly appreciated how friendly and attentive the staff was throughout my visit. Highly recommend Made by AKB for anyone looking for delicious treats, a cozy atmosphere, and excellent service. I’ll definitely be back!

Came in for the YYC Hot Chocolate Fest, and so glad I did. It was easily my favourite this year! The café is so cute, and all of the desserts and pastries look amazing, though there are limited gluten-free choices. Staff were so kind and helpful!

AKB Bakery in NE Calgary has an amazing selection, and everything tastes super fresh. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and the staff are always kind and personable. The atmosphere is warm and inviting — it really feels like they value the customer experience. 10/10, I’ll definitely be back!

It was good but I ordered a large latte online and got an iced latte which was super disappointing because I really was looking forward to a hot latte. The iced latte was watered down when it got here so I don’t even want it honestly :( The cake was good I got a tiramisu piece and it was really nice and balanced flavours as well as pretty. I will be trying again but maybe going in next time.

UPDATE: Didn’t know this needed to be clarified but I never used the plastic spork given with the cup… my boyfriend brought me the cup and he didn’t give any spoon so I used a metal spoon also the black bits were at the VERY BOTTOM of the cup. Super odd response by “Madebyakb”. We are real paying customers and sharing our ACCURATE AND critical feedback, it’s really sad that this place can’t take any criticism. These are not haters leaving you bad reviews, these are real paying customers. What a disappointing response. Consider not writing lengthy counter-arguments and doing a fake analysis nit-picking behaviour and just take the feedback as a way to improve. You rip customers off and charge high prices, at the very least make sure the quality of the product matches otherwise adjust your prices accordingly. Just sad sad sad behaviour. Original review: Got the Dubai strawberry cup and after getting to the bottom of it I bit into a piece of plastic? I bit it up into pieces, was so confused as to what it was but it was super disgusting. Almost broke a tooth. Not worth… paying $20 for a small cup just to end up with a poorly constructed dessert and very disappointing that there was some foreign pieces in the cup!!!! Was nervous to post this because the owner is a keyboard warrior but for $20 do better!

One of my favourite bakeries/cafes in Calgary! The owner is a beautiful woman who very clearly cares about her business and the customers. This was the first time I have been to a public space where there were different brands and sizes of pads and tampons. And not to mention, sanitizing wipes!!! I've never seen that ever and I'm sure other customers greatly appreciate the attention to detail with regards to customer care. I always get a little excited when driving to the NE as I always try to make sure I stop by this cafe.

Cakeworks is now apart of our family birthday routines! 3 cakes already this year, and we’re never disappointed. Some of our friends also order here now because the price and quality cannot be beat. Thank you for bringing excitement to our birthday cakes at a price we can afford.

We ordered our wedding cake and cupcakes, I sent over pictures of the cake and COLOUR, sage green ! We even went in person, to write up our order… so no mistakes would happen …. All our decor was sage green, our wedding was over $35k, annnnnnd we got a baby blue wedding cake and cupcakes…. Our wedding photos are going to be so awkward…. Truly a huge disappointment. No quality control or care, offered a refund for 1/3…. Should of been offered a full refund, especially since the owner delivered it and still didn’t see a issue with everything in the ballroom with Sage Green everywhere, our florist tried her best to cover it with flowers😬 The wedding photos are going to be a forever reminder 🤦‍♀️ See pictures …What I got, vs what I paid for

Cakeworks yearly is my go-to place for my child’s birthday cake. The service is unmatched, timely, what you told you will get is what you receive. The flavours are great, kids love them, and the creativity is unparalleled. Highly recommend. I no longer live nearby however, will purposely go out of my way to order here, and pick up. Thank you for making my child’s birthday cakes for the past almost 12 years!

I ordered the full slab cake, edible photo, marble flavour with chocolate mousse and creamy toffee filling. It tasted delicious and it was very affordable. Many of my guests complimented the cake!

I went there to order a cake for my son 1st Birthday. We had ordered a cake for my daughter’s first birthday years ago and I was ok with experience. But the person working the front today lacked customer service skills. If I am standing in your bakery I shouldn’t have to go to a website just to know the flavours of your cake. She had the most dismissive and unpleasant attitude that I’ve ever experienced. If I can’t even walk in to get information about your cakes, what’s the point of having a storefront?

If I could give 10 stars I absolutely would. I have had a long relationship with this awesome crew and they have NEVER disappointed me. Their cakes and cupcakes not only taste fantastic but the creativity they put into them is outta this world. You won’t be paying $30 for a cake so get over it...cause with Cakeworks you definitely get what you pay for. Their cakes are always part of my party decor and people love and look forward to seeing what they have come up with this time. I also order balloons from them and they have a great selection.

This was truly a delightful place for me to get a dozen cupcakes yesterday. The celebrant loved the cakes! The person who attended to me at the shop was sweet and she was very helpful in explaining the different cupcakes! Service was friendly and cupcakes were delicious! I'll definitely make this place my go-to for cake orders and cupcakes cos their prices were also great!

Yvonne made our wedding cake and cupcakes! The flavour on our cake was incredible and it was so well baked and very moist. Our guests couldn’t stop raving. The cake and cupcakes were decorated exactly how I wanted it. We did a cake tasting prior to ordering and when I requested that she make the earl grey flavour stronger in the cake she absolutely delivered! Truly it made the night even more special. Last week, my husband & I held our destination wedding in Banff. Being from Atlanta, we needed bakery recommendations and Yvonne's Delightful Cakes quickly rose to the top of the list. We are incredibly grateful to have found Yvonne's as our wedding cake was a standout of the evening – as artful as it was delicious. Our guests not only raved about how unique and lush the lemon cake (with lemon buttercream) was, they audibly lamented not being able to take a slice home on their flights. Most impressive of all, was Yvonne herself. Although we were a small order, she treated us with the passion, joy, and attention of a 200 guest wedding. We ordered a 1-tier wedding cake along with a variety of cupcakes for our wedding reception, and everything was absolutely perfect! The cake was not only beautiful and elegantly decorated, crafted exactly to our design, but it was also incredibly delicious, moist, rich, and just the right level of sweetness. The cupcakes were a huge hit with our guests; each flavor was thoughtfully crafted, looked stunning on display and of course, incredibly tasty! Highly recommended for anyone looking for high-quality, great-tasting wedding desserts!

The cupcakes were a huge hit for everyone, some guests ate 4-5 cupcakes because they were so good. They were perfectly moist and the flavour was amazing, you can tell how amazing the quality was. Wow. Picked up 6 of the cupcakes today, coconut, earl grey and lemon. Absolutely delicious. The guests thoroughly enjoyed them, the icing (frosting?) was the perfect mix of sweet and creamy. Incredible flavours throughout, the earl grey especially. Will be back for anything cake or sweet treat related that they carry. Also, the customer service was very pleasant and I could tell they were happy to provide me with their incredible treats. 2025 edit: went for the celebration cupcake pack for my sons birthday, they were outstanding. The buttercream was perfect, not too sweet and nice and light. The sage green was very pleasing to the eye, the guests devoured them all. Thanks again for the wonderful treats.

Swirl did an absolutely amazing job on the custom cake I surprised my friend with for her 30th birthday!! Communication was smooth from start to finish and the cake tasted phenomenal. I am absolutely amazed at how perfectly my cake turned out. I had reached out to Marcia and worked with her to create my dream cake for my Halloween wedding. I am from out of province and had no ability to do a tasting or a face to face meet. I had only seen her portfolio and booked solely off of that and her ratings. I WAS AMAZED. It was identical to my reference pictures. I chose a two tier cake with two different flavored tiers, both were delicious and beautifully done. I am so impressed and would recommend her to everyone.

Marcia with Forever Cakes is amazing! she is truly one of the sweetest people! And her work was amazing! she made a cake and cupcakes for our wedding and we couldn't be happier. People loved them and the cake was so beautiful! she did a faux birch tree looking cake and people actually thought it was a real tree it looked so real! it was amazing. we couldn't be happier with her service. Plus her prices were very competitive and she was the fastest at responding than any other baker. Maria is a real gem and I would recommend using her for any occasion!

Marcia is the only person I call when I need an amazing looking cake that is equally delicious. Everyone raved at my wedding how good her cupcakes were and she made a special cutting cake for my husband and I (I highly recommend the banana flavor!). We used her services again for my birthday party with a fantastic Halloween theme cake and will be calling in the new year for my Husband's birthday cake! Yummy dessert. The pistachio cake was so good soft not too sweet so delightful and tasty. I tried the carrot cake latte it was delicious. Service was quick and staff were nice . The bakery was clean. I'll be back to try pizza and some more baked goods.

Beautiful big bakery &cafe in one corner near downtown!!! Wow so many seatings for any size of group! Gorgeous place inside with plenty of options for desserts and sweets! So I’m trying to love this place as much as I can, but 3 times I was here and 3 times I had some issues. I feel like barista there doesn’t pay attention to details for drinks, I’m getting wrong drink 3 times it’s insane. I understand it’s always busy in there and there’s only 1 lady working on drinks usually, but I’m paying for product I want to get, and 3 times I’m throwing out this drink because it’s not what I wanted…. Delicious desserts, yes, great! I love atmosphere there as a co-working space, but I don’t think I’ll come one more time just because it’s getting frustrating now to get something you don’t want. Beautiful seatings outside as well, and they have just benches for your fur friends to wait near the entrance. I gave this place 3 tries and I’m giving up now. I hope this place will meet your expectations and right order of drink!

Our wedding cake from Alforno Bakery (through Teatro Ristorante) was a masterpiece. It was elegant, delicious, and absolutely perfect for our intimate celebration. Affono Café (7th Street, Downtown Calgary) Nice spot with really good coffee and cake — perfect for catching up with friends. The place has a trendy vibe, but parking can be tricky, and it’s often hard to find a table inside if you’re just there for coffee or dessert since most of the space is used for meal services. Outdoor seating would be nice if it weren’t so cold — no heaters set up yet. Customer service could be improved; staff seemed quite busy and didn’t appear very welcoming, which made the experience feel a bit rushed.

What makes for a perfect brunch place: food that tastes as good as it looks, an open a light-filled open second story dining area, and service that is not only friendly but efficient. We had tomato basil soup, Greek yogurt parfait, a mushroom truffle omelette served with arugula salad, overflowing with all kinds of mushrooms and took an espresso cookie, almond croissant, and fruit tarts to go. All delightful. The raspberry passions fruit tart was so good that it will bring me back for more....

A hidden gem! First time here, great local drip coffee, loved the dark roast. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have so many baked goods, hard to choose from and an onsite bakery. The Cinnamon Bun with raisins, cream cheese frosting on the side. It was soft, chewy and delicious. I will be back for lunch, soups, salads and sandwiches.

I used to love our lazy loaf order and would regularly order from them via skip the dishes. Over time, we have stopped using skip as their support is terrible. The only time I will order on skip is to get a lazy loaf order. However unfortunately that will also now stop. The last two times I’ve ordered from lazy loaf, I ordered a turkey sandwich. Both times the order came, the turkey is missing. Best part - can’t even get a refund cause we received “part” of a sandwich. WELP, we tried.

Garbage, literally. I bought a sandwich and a piece of cake... It was $35. I would have walked out but my friend convinced me it was the best bakery in town. It's not. The sandwich had moldy spinach and old tomatoes and I had to toss it after one bite, the bread was both soggy and stale. The cake was dry and nothing special, no better than a supermarket cake, but of course they charge you the cost of an entire cake and serve you one slice. The slice of cake was big but the sandwich was tiny. I have no idea how anyone has a good opinion of this... It's easily the worst spot in Calgary and that's saying something.

Stopped by Lazy Loaf & Kettle for a casual lunch and had the grilled Reuben while my daughter enjoyed a grilled cheese. The Reuben was flavorful and satisfying, and my daughter liked her sandwich too. However, I found the overall pricing a bit steep for what the place offers in terms of atmosphere and service. It’s a cozy spot, but the value didn’t quite match the cost for us. Still worth a visit if you're in the area and craving a classic sandwich, but manage expectations when it comes to pricing.

Fast, healthy lunch place. Order at the counter from a menu with plenty of choices in lunch fare. Our group had the brisket, tuna melt, but and grilled cheese. The first 3 came with a side that made for a satisfying lunch. The grilled cheese had only a pickle on the side only and for a hungry 13 yo boy was not sufficient so we ordered a second grilled cheese. Staff helped us choose items and the service to the outside table was fast. Inside seating was clean and spacious. I would go again.

I had a great breakfast here. I ate the Ham Eggs Benny and it was delicious. The coffee was also really good and their fruit was super fresh! I'll be back for sure!

I hope this is constructive, $35 with tip for 2 sandwiches and it’s no bigger than the toothpick that holds it together. I’m fine with the price, but I expect it to look bigger than a slider. Please don’t prioritize skip the dishes orders over the people waiting in line. I’m a fan of lazy loaf, have been for decades, I hope you keep me coming back for decades more.

Delicious ice cream spot, and such a cute atmosphere! 😋 such a fun spot to check out on a hot day. Their ice cream is so creamy and flavourful. We tried the cookies and cream, lemon curd blueberry, and the earl grey! All were great and I would highly recommend to any friends. Staff are all very kind and efficient.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Made by Marcus used to be the BEST ice cream in town… now it’s the WORST. The quality has completely gone downhill — flavors taste off, texture isn’t the same, and the overall experience is disappointing compared to what it used to be. Really sad to see such a great place fall this far.

Amazing little ice cream spot. The flavours are all very creative and even the weird sounding ones taste good. I’d recommend to try all the ones you’re curious of before you pick but definitely pick the lemon curd and blueberry. The flavours aren’t too too sweet or decadent. Not a super creamy dairy forwards ice cream but that just means you can enjoy a little bit more. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, the ice cream here is far too sweet. It's a shame because many of their flavours sound appealing, they just add so much sugar that the ice cream ends up being cloying, sickly, and impossible to finish. Calgary has other ice cream shops that do interesting flavours without overdoing the sweetness. I would reconsider my views on this shop if they pared back the sweetness, but for now, it's a hard no for me. I'm giving it two stars because the staff seem nice.

Extensive assortment of tasty baked goods in a warm and comfortable setting. The pastries (eg. croissants) are pretty good with flaky, buttery layers. The ham croissants would benefit from more cheese as opposed to the cream sauce. The mini cakes are exquisite pieces of art, and their blue cheese sour dough bread is heavenly (only available on Fridays). Manuel Latruwe is a solid cafe for breakfast, coffee with pastries, or take out for enjoyment at home!

Love this place. Everything they have to offer is good!! I kept coming back and bringing friends over. It’s like you can’t go wrong when you order from here— everything is literally so good! Good quality, great taste!! They could renovate/ upgrade their place tho to make ambiance better. We ordered the Teranga cake, which is a decadent chocolate mouse cake. It was delicious. I like how they have multiple side cakes feeding 4 to 12 servings. It was perfect for our group of 4 with a slice left over. The price was reasonable compared to other similar bakeries. I noticed they had individual cakes of multiple flavours. I’d love to try them all.

Perfect little bakery (european) amazing looking pastries and bread, my friend always gets the quiche and crossaint, and I got a skillet.. simple flavourful and perfectly cooked. The attention to detail was amazing. We were left alone to do some drawings and talk for a while. We felt welcome and the selection on the menu looked awesome they had buckwheat crepes! Next time I'll try it. Thanks to the lovely woman who served us, she was delightful.

I’ve had Napoleon pastries here a few times, and they’re always outstanding. The cream and custard are smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced, not overly sweet. What really stands out is the Madagascar vanilla. The flavor is unforgettable, and the aroma adds a refined, beautiful touch.

This place is absolutely lovely. I’ve been coming to this ice cream shop since I was a kid, and it just keeps getting better. The friendly staff always make my day, and there’s such a great variety of flavours, way more than most places! Plus, the scoops are big, which is always a bonus. Cool old school Ice Cream shop with a lot of options of flavours of Ice Cream. A little pricy for one scoop of Ice Cream and the one chair I picked to sit on was like a rocking horse 😆 might want to fix or replace that chair. Cool for a visit.

My new go-to ice cream shoppe in Calgary has a whopping 72 flavours to choose from. I am a matcha lover and their ice cream tastes like a party in my mouth.

They have a huge selection of ice cream flavours from Foothills Creamery to choose from. Would recommend the liquorice ice cream and the funky monkey. They also have some seating and a large candy section too. A great place for ice cream.

I’ve been dropping in and out of this place for over 10 years. I’m so glad to see that it is still standing in Mission after all this time. I got the breakfast sandwich and honestly it was exactly what I wanted it to be and more. The bagel was perfectly moist, the toppings were generous and of course it was sloppy to eat but all the best sandwiches are. My only critique is that I would have liked the option for bbq or regular hash browns but the bbq hash browns were still delicious.

I’ve been passing by this café for a while and finally got the chance to try it out—and it didn’t disappoint! The food and coffee were great, with generous portions. The espresso was well calibrated and smooth. I found the mochaccino a bit too sweet for my taste, but overall, it was great!!!

I got a carrot cake slice after reading good reviews. Just got home and opened to try it, it looked so odd too wet and when tasted it didn’t smell good either and tasted undercooked and so doughy. It was very poorly made even the grocery store cakes are way better than this.Highly disappointed, wasted my money. Had to throw the whole slice in garbage after 1 bite only.

Best place in Calgary to enjoy food, company and get work done. My husband and I usually would go for their wraps and now have dipped into more of their delicious menu. Huge appreciation to their staff especially Ivy!! She’s always smiling and even went out of the way knowing out names and our usual order…. Staff and owners are so friendly! Food is amazing and you can order a Benny after 3 pm

My first time here. It was a cute cafe lots of ambience. I had a Saskatoon tart, it was very tasty. Coffee was good no bitterness. As this cafe is in a very busy area, it was difficult to find parking. I probably would not go back because of that.

This pastry shop is in a more industrial area but it was definitely worth the visit. We were nearby and decided to grab some desserts for dinner. Even though we just walked in on a Saturday afternoon, there was still a great selection available. Appreciate the variety, textures and most importantly, a nice range of sweetness levels which makes it much easier to find something for everyone.

Superb!! I had slices of the opera, Saint-Marc, and lime raspberry coconut cakes all of which slapped. I‘d suggest pre-ordering for pick up. I can‘t wait to eat my way through more of their menu 😌

Beautiful pastries with a rich, European-style flavor — not overly sweet, which I really appreciate. I tried their chocolate hazelnut cake and it was incredible. Silky mousse, crunchy hazelnut layers, and a dark chocolate shell — tasted like a more refined, upscale Ferrero Rocher. Also loved the pistachio croissant — creamy filling, and seriously good! Perfect spot for high-quality desserts that aren’t too sugary. Will definitely be back!

Pastries are amazing, no problems there. I ordered a London fog which was listed on the menu, and was given a coffee beverage. The person working there didn’t speak any English and despite explaining that it’s an earl grey tea latte with vanilla, she basically said sorry she couldn’t help me and I was stuck with coffee I couldn’t drink. I’d understand if it wasn’t something on the menu but it literally was.

I love all the treats here! Especially the mango coconut mousse, chocolate ganache and mousse cakes. They are my go to birthday cakes. They have a variety of savoury and sweet items so you can always find something here!

Lakeview Bakery is a real gem! They offer a large variety of delicious breads, cakes, cookies, and many other treats, all of which are fresh and delicious. What I really appreciate is their wide selection of gluten-free options—everything I've tried tastes just as good as the regular items, which is hard to find. The prices are also good for the quality you’re getting. It’s definitely worth visiting if you’re craving real fresh baked goods and not mass-produced, commercially made products. Whether you’re gluten-free or not, this bakery has something for everyone! My only wish would be an updated, modern website with more pictures and a menu with prices. Enjoy!

I picked up some Gluten Free red velvet cupcakes from Co-op in High River, Alberta. Absolutely one of the most delicious desserts I have ever had. Thank you very much for making this gluten-free treat.

I have been coming to Lakeview for many years, the gluten free selection perfectly meets my celiac needs! The products may be great, but the constant rude customer service I encounter makes me question why I still support this bakery. Customer service is so important especially for a small business like this bakery, why is it that I get sassy comments when I am simply confirming that a certain unlabelled item is gluten free, or I can’t decide which flavour of cupcake I want and in return I get a big ol eye roll… these are just a couple examples of the horrible customer service I have received on multiple occasions. Why I continue to go back to this bakery and give them my money, despite how great the food is, I don’t know. I hope you take this review into account, as I have talked to other celiacs who purchase from this bakery and have had similar experiences with the staff! It’s not hard to just be kind and have patience!!

Everything I bought was enjoyed to the max by all who ate it. They warmed up some sausage rolls for my husband that he regularly orders and loves. Got some hamburger buns that were SO fresh. One of the best lemon poppyseed muffins I’ve ever had. Even picked up some nice Kelowna organic salad dressing. My favourite purchase has to be the decorated sugar cookies. They were SO cute! Friendly cashiers. Amazing aroma. Well-organized shelving.

We picked up an apple pie for Easter dinner. Wanted it to be a little more special than your typical sobeys pie. But disappointed. Crust was pretty raw on bottom. Apple slices are too large and actually kind of flavorless.

We ordered a small wedding cake from Cookie Mama, in order to accommodate an egg allergy. It was moist and full of strawberries, decorated with fresh fruit and icing flowers, and it was just the right size to fit our two cake toppers! Easy to work with and very happy with the result :)

OMG! Def one of my NEW favourite places in Calgary! Just Wow! I was so stoked to pass it by on my walk down 17th and I’m telling you friends! This place is worth it! I got a variety of 5 different cookies and baked goods for $15!!! Totally worth the price knowing you are putting some good stuff in your system! Absolutely LOVED the Crocodile Rock cookie, that thing melts in your mouth it’s SO good! Plus the space is beautifully decorated and filled with so much love and art! It is worth it to stop by!

Got cupcakes for my birthday, only 4 so we were able to just walk in - it was a very quick and pleasant experience! They were frosted on the spot too, so they tasted super fresh! We really enjoyed the cake part. Very fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness (we usually find other bakeries' goods to be too sweet). The chocolate buttercream on 2 of the 4 cupcakes was also amazing, perfect consistency and flavour! (the ones in the picture). However, the ones with cream cheese frosting (bohemian rhapsody and smooth operator) tasted a little too much like vinegar. I have not seen any reviews mentioning this so I assume we might have been unlucky on the particular batch of frosting?

My daughter was gifted these beautiful gluten free, dairy free cupcakes and they were wonderful!! Moist and fresh and all the different flavours were absolutely delicious 😋! Definitely one of the best gluten and dairy free treats we've ever had.

Brown butter banana hot chocolate was mostly banana cream and you could barely taste any hot chocolate which I didn’t find very appealing for a hot chocolate! We also got disappointed by the nutella cruffin as the filling was too much and so buttery instead of having more nutella, it felt like you’re biting through a butter bar! The tiramisu was fairly good though!

Not just good, but great! I had only ever had their cheese bagels before so I decided to branch out and try a few other things. The cinnamon buns were delicious, my mom LOVED this grainy loaf of bread and my dad couldn't get enough of the everything bagels. Yum!

Great selection of fresh breads and sweets! The carrot cake is amazing. We stop in for a jalapeño bagel with cream cheese and an Americano a couple times a week.

Hubby and I went there for the first time today. And I'm so glad we did. We will definitely be returning and I will be telling everyone about this place. A lovely selection of baked goods, breads, bagels. Lovely staff. Very patient with us as we didn't know what to order being our first time. We both ordered a ham and gruyere croissant and then a cruffin. I had the lemon, my hubby the banana caramel. Everything was really tasty. I think reasonably priced for what you got. The cruffins are huge and their fillings taste amazing as well. Very creamy. We ate our goods in the store. There are a few little tables plus window seating and some seating outside. Hubby said the coffee was good too. And while eating I was facing the door and there was a steady stream of people coming in all the time we were there. It seems very popular. Makes sense. Great place. Check it out. I wish I had taken a photo of the food in the counter but I told a call as we were leaving and forgot.

They offer a wide selection of pastries and bread in reasonable pricing. Probably the greatest value I’ve seen in the city. The chocolate croissant and cruffin were fabulous. Will return for sure!

This is probably my favorite bakery in the city. It’s small but cozy, the staff is extremely friendly and the owner is very accommodating. I ordered my wedding cake here last year, and they were so pleasant to work with. I also ordered a cake for my husband’s birthday recently. Both cakes were moist, and the icing is delicious, and not cheap and sugary like some other places. You can tell that they take pride in their business. - The cakes are beautiful (see photos) and also very fairly priced. I will always order here, and definitely recommend them to anyone!

Google searched to find a cake shop today and it lead me to this gem! A last minute birthday cake order that we were able to pickup within a few hours. The chocolate cake was so perfectly chocolatey and the buttercream was just the right amount of not too sweet. So amazing… think I have found my new go-to cake shop!

Sweet Relief and Deidre created the perfect cake for our wedding. Communication was top-notch, the cake was delicious and it looked gorgeous! The cake was moist, not too sweet and the buttercream frosting was a gorgeous texture. We were recommended to get a 3 tier cake and it ended up being WAY too much cake for our wedding so we gave a lot of it away to the venue staff. I’m sure they were more than happy with it because it was delicious. We chose chocolate raspberry for the large tier and passionfruit vanilla for the top tiers. They were so accommodating with my requests for flavours and so good with design recommendations!! 10/10 experience. The cake got great praise from our guests!! Thank you Deidre and team!!

I have been to Sweet Relief a number of times now, both for my wedding cake and just for fun every day treats. The wedding cake was very reasonably priced and turned out amazing, both beautiful and delicious! They were so easy to work with throughout the process. For everyday treats, they have a great assortments of goods to choose from and everything is SO good. Would absolutely recommend if you are in the area!

We ordered the box where you get different flavors of cake. Very tasty but the red velvet was dry at the ends. There is not a designated parking lot, which makes it annoying when you want to visit. Overall, i would purchase it again!

We ordered a two tier Nanaimo Bar Cake for our wedding and it was absolutely delicious and incredibly beautiful. Our guests couldn't stop raving about it! Very moist and light, and not too sweet. The perfect cake!

Their ready-to-go cakes are great if you're looking for something in a pinch. I got the earl gray cake with blueberry frosting for a friends birthday, it was cute and everyone seemed to enjoy it. The cashier was also super helpful and friendly.

The service was great, the place looked lovely and the deserts were amazing. The raspberry brownie was so chocolatey and goey, but well balanced with the raspberry. The coconut cream cake was one of the best cakes me and my husband ever ate, it’s light and the flavors are well balanced. Can’t wait to go back to try other cakes!

I ordered the coconut cream cake for my sister’s birthday and it was absolutely delicious - I would highly recommend this for people who like coconut and a cake that is decadent without being too “heavy”. Yes, it’s on the pricey side but the cake is enormous, beautifully decorated and tastes heavenly so I think you get what you pay for.

I ordered chocolate cake and cheesecake. Definitely aesthetically pleasing, good for gifts. However, the price is not reasonable and did not follow with exceptional taste. The customer service was mediocre at best with non helpful answers when asked what is the most popular choice and why.

Ordered my grandmother's 90th birthday cake from here since she wanted something light and without a bunch of "oily buttercream". We opted for the lemon cream cake and it was perfect! It had a delicate lemon flavour and the light cream went great with it. The exterior had crushed meringue that was so soft and added a bit of texture. The fresh flower topping was great as well but they can't guarantee exact colours if you have a colour scheme in mind for your event. Enjoyed the cake overall but since the price point is a bit higher than other bakeries I think we'll reserve Decadent Brulee for very special occasions.

The best bakeshop in town!!! Tried their lemon raspberry cake, carrot cake, coconut cream cake, wild berry cheesecake, butter pecan muffin!!! They are all heaven!!! Fireworks all over your mouth even for the first bite!!!

Our office is just down the street from this hidden gem. The sweets are all amazing but the Osso Negro coffee, quiche, and sausage rolls are what keep me coming back!

We stopped here today with my family while out running errands and I got a hankering for some baklava. Although we've been several times over the years, we are always amazed at the intricacies and interesting foods. Staff is second-to-none and always so kind. They hooked our little one up with several delicious cookies so he could share with his brother at home, the cookies didn't make it that far. Ha! Can't recommend Tasse enough for an interesting dessert!

The people are very helpful, patient and knowledgeable. There are few tables and chairs if you want to dine in. The atmosphere is simple and pleasant. The store is clean and tidy. We had meat pies and sweets.

If you’re looking for the ultimate dessert experience, this place is an absolute gem! I had the pleasure of trying their kunafa and a variety of traditional Arabic sweets, and every bite was unforgettable. The kunafa was perfectly crispy on the outside, with a warm, gooey cheese filling and just the right amount of sweetness. You can really taste the quality and love that goes into their desserts.

This was my first experience with Lebanese baked goodies, and everything I had just blew my mind!! The Manakeesh (chicken and beef with muhammara paste, cheese with zaatar were insanely good), eclairs, osmaliyeh, atayef and maamouls were absolutely delicious!! The only negative about the place is the lack of warmth in the staff (except one gentleman who was very kind with giving newcomers information about the items) who are selectively warm and friendly with people from the Middle East but seem quite curt wirh everyone else. I also wish they had a menu with pictures and descriptions of all their goods. Or at least small labels on the display counter. As it’s all so new to people trying this cuisine for the first time.

The best Arabic dessert place is burnt unfortunately, they will re-open as soon as they can! Come back stronger!

One of the best bakeries in the city owned by an amazing lady who is charismatic and passionate about the wonderful products she creates. The cookies are delicious, the cakes are picturesque and I personally have a carrot cake erm...well...habit. It's just great okay? Even my cat gets upset when I try and take the Bolo cake jar from her. You need to try it out for yourself :)

Amazing cake. It is very unique in its flavour and texture unlike most generic cake. The cake is dense and isn't too sweet yet flavourful. The icing is a perfect consistency/viscosity without a sweetness that isn't too overbearing to the cake ratio. Ordered the London fog cake and in the center was ozing some delicious Earl Grey salted caramel which was also just enough to balance out each layer. The cake was beautifully made and worth a try (or two, or three...).

Lisa was so accommodating. Super friendly and personable. She loves what she does and it shows in her cakes. Delicious butter cream icing on a colour funfetti cake. Perfect for our little one's second birthday. Don't forget a birthday cake cookie for the ride home.

So recently I was looking for a birthday cake with caramel and chocolate in it (favs of a friend) and lo and behold, saw Bolo Cakery near the top of my list. The website listed a salted caramel and chocolate cake as a popular item...perfect for what I was looking for! We popped in around at around 1:30 pm and was very nervous to see that there were only a few cakes left in the coolers. The owner, Lisa, came out from the back and instantly put me and my partner right at ease, and ended up having a great little chat. She was super friendly and you could tell this was where she was meant to be. I also knew she if she put her personality into her craft, the cake I was looking for would be fabulous 😁 Luckily there was a few Bolo "babies" on hand (4" round but at least 6" tall) so we chose one and spirited it away as fast as we could. It looked so good my partner (who is lactose intolerant) had to have a great Americano expresso because he was too sad that he wouldn't be able to get any 🤤. With a few wise parting words from Lisa about not putting it in the fridge as we were having it that evening (to let the caramel inside to be ooey and gooey for the cake to be super moist), we surprised the birthday boy and dug right in. It was hands down the best I'd ever had (did I mention caramel is one of my favorites too??). Oh and one of Lisa's comments was that the cake should be at the right temp so that you could spread the buttercream frosting on toast. It was so delicious (not too sweet, utterly sinful), I may have to take her up on that suggestion the next time. My birthday is coming up in a few months. Guess what I will be asking for? Try Bolo...you won't regret it!!

Drove by this plaza a lot and realized there was a highly rated bakery so when I needed something sweet I went by for a visit. The birthday cake/funfetti cookies were so soft and moist as were the triple chocolate cookies. We had some cold cinnamon buns to take home with warming instructions that melted in your mouth. Will definitely be returning customers.

This is a little slice of happiness. After a rough work week came in to get something for a dinner party and oh boy did they deliver. Now know where to find happiness in a box! The team they are caring and didn't try to rush me at all as I tried to restrain myself from jumping over the counter to find out things! Thanks for putting up with me and thank you for providing some treats for this big kid!

Saw a bunch of big European dudes flocking to this place. That’s how you know it’s the real deal! Absolutely delicious chevaps (mini beef meat kebabs served in soft buttered bread roll with onions and sour cream). It was the best I’ve tasted. The bread was so soft and fluffy; the burek with feta cheese is to die for too. Very crispy outer pastry, with generous amount of rich cheese filling. They give you a good portion for a slice, or you can purchase the whole burek for $30 which can feed a small army. There are also a lot of cakes and coffee cake loaves available at the store. The hazelnut tort looked great, next time I visit it will tempt me for sure. Little grocery area selling authentic European goodies. Prices are decent, portions are generous and service is warm and lovely. What’s not to love?

The first bakery I visited after moving to the neighborhood and have been regular ever since. Thanks to tasty bread loaves and I now eat breakfast way often than before(Albanian, Sourdough, sweet, Italian, Potato bread, Peta etc, everything on their shelf is tasty in different way). I’ve also ordered cakes from them for different occasions couple times, and oh my I just know they never disappoint. People who had the cake I bought also loved them too! Other than the food, the staff are so nice and friendly, I feel welcomed everytime when I walk in to their shop! Definitely my go to bakery in the city!

Came from out of town to try this place, and it was well worth it! All the ladies working there are so sweet and helpful. They have a solid selection of Balkan products overall, and their Burek especially the meat one is absolutely worth the hype. One of the best I’ve had without needing to fly all the way to Europe! :)

I drive 30 minutes just for burek! Usually leave with bags full. Introduced this Balkan gem to many neighbors, they absolutely loved burek and chevapi. The owners are very friendly, wish you guys were in the deep SW too! Their bakery items and cakes are always fresh and reasonably priced.

Good pastry, decent iced coffee. Bit of a small spot, but nice for a quick grab-n-go. Got their peaches and creme croissant. Looked and sounded a bit more exciting than it tasted, but still enjoyed it nevertheless. Very kind staff and the surrounding location is a great place to hang out!

As you pass by the corridor you can really smell the freshly baked goodies. I love it. They have lots of choices on sweet pastries, croissants, cakes and more. I also love the coffee/tea options. I have tried the almond croissant and the Iced Pandan Coconut Foam. This is a hidden gem cafe & bakery at 17th Avenue. I will definitely come back for sure.

It's definitely worth a visit. I tried the cheesecake and croissants. The black sesame croissants were just right in terms of crispness and sweetness, with a rich sesame aroma in every bite. I personally like the croissants and recommend them. They are very delicious and perfect for afternoon tea with a cup of coffee.

I went to Butter Block Bakery & Cafe and picked up a drink with espresso, passionfruit and tonic water. It was such a unique and tasty drink that had such a good balance of coffee, sweet and fruitiness. I also grabbed an almond croissant and would highly recommended that was well, it was flaky with a great amount of almond paste in the middle. When I'm in the area I'll definitely be stopping by Butter Block again!

Just Sweet Enough is our go-to for every staff birthday and office celebration. The cakes are light, airy, and not too sweet. Plus, you aren’t left with get that heavy, icky feeling like with most cakes. The staff are always so kind and helpful, and all of us at APC love their desserts. We’re lucky to have them so close to our office!

First time in the store and Jhoanna greeted me with a smile. You got to try their lemon cheesecakes, tiramisu and chocolate chip. It was good. The store sells a variety of keto food and drinks also. Store has good energy ambiance. Jhoanna also explained the sweetness part of the cakes. She knows diabetic pastries very well. Food and cakes are creatively organized and has overall cleanliness. Will definitely go back.

Diabetes, keto, sugar free product store. I love how they have fresh baked goods ready as many of diabetes friendly stores in Calgary require pre order especially for whole cake. I tried their browny mix, it was easy and so good! If you have dietary restrictions, this is a great store to visit! Staff were super helpful and friendly, had great experience!

I have several friends who are diabetic so I did a Google search for bakeries that catered to diabetic needs and this was the first place that came up. They have an amazing selection of products that are sugar free and I am delighted to have discovered this bakery! There are also Keto products and a large variety of syrups, etc. I'm so glad this place exists and I know I'll be back again.

I ordered a Keto Birthday cake for my sister's 40th and Holly was an absolute pleasure to deal with in the booking process right through to cake collection. The black forest cake was superb, absolutely delicious and perfectly Keto, no issues at all afterword (other than craving more cake!) 100% recommend thank you again Holly!

I thought the amazing shop closed it doors forever. But to my surprise I found the location. Plenty of parking out front. You enter the doors to a very spacious store. Everything shining and very clean. Great selection of products and excited to see their pastry area. All made in store. The employee was excited and super friendly. Yes some of products maybe a bit pricey but is comparable to other specialty shops. See you next week.😀

If you’re on sugar withdrawal, don’t want flour, and want something that tastes amazing but is light, this is the place. I thought it was a small bakery but walked inside and it has everything you need if you’re doing keto or are gluten free. It’s a little store with alternatives for everything! I got 1/2 dozen for $23 not bad considering how expensive it is everywhere else, I didn’t have to order in advance since it was a last minute gift. Personally the red velvet wasn’t as flavourful as the others but everything else tasted great! The frosting does have dairy, I did find out though that you can order it with coconut milk icing instead (in advance) so I’ll do that next time for sure! The size isn’t as big which is both great/not but it has a lot of fibre so I’m guessing that’s why hahahaha. Customer service was beyond phenomenal. Holly (employee) knew her stuff and could tell you exactly what was in the cupcake/other items Our fav cupcake was the German chocolate one 😋
