I was taking lessons from one of the establishments in the plaza and thought of having a coffee from this place. The coffee is good but the woman at the counter seems to be a snob as she gave me a poker face while I'm all smile. I asked her to make me a cup of coffee which she did though. I think for a store to be successful everything should be inviting. She wasn't. But she was so friendly with everybody else. I don't want to think, it's because I'm Asian, but who knows what goes through her head. Am I coming back here? Maybe. The pastries look really good. I will try to bring my white husband and see how she behaves next time. 🙂

Good spot for a quick warm bite or a sandwich. They sell a wide variety of breads and they also make sandwiches on the spot, but we only realized it after seeing other (regular) customers ordering, because otherwise we didn’t see any signs about it. Dining area availability inside.

Had a great experience here. My family and I were greeted very nicely and the staff were very friendly and helpful in going through the coffee options and bringing our food to our table. The coffee and pastries were delicious. They have a nice patio and are dog friendly.

Great pizza and large pastry variety. There's no menu but they will make you a fresh oven baked pizza with whatever toppings you choose. The pistachio cannoli and mini tiramisu were our favorite pastries.

Emily’s Bakery has been around in this area for a long time. It offers pastries, bread, pizza and coffee as a bakery, deli, pastry & hot table shop. Situated inside is a large wood-fired pizza oven as well. I tried a set of cannolis from Emily’s Bakery. It was fairly typical of what I would expect from these treats. Price point is fairly typical for this area within the basic shop interior.

This is an Italian bakery offering meals and pizzas, specialty coffees, deli items, bread products and a variety of pastries and baked goods. They have sitting area and informal, relaxed atmosphere. The servers are very helpful and friendly. A lot of free parking just in front of the bakery. A relaxed place to have coffee and pastries which are much better than the offerings st the large coffee chains.

Fresh bread and tons of good quality baked goods. I liked the cannolis. They also offer warm meals and pizza, there’s plenty of sitting inside. They also carry a small amount of imported products like panettone. You will find as well a deli counter with meats and cheese.

So I thought I would give ST Philips Bakery in Maple a second chance this Easter after a disastrous Italian rum cake I have bought for Christmas …. WRONG! Who bakes these cakes? At $49 a shot I expect something at least decent! This Italian rum cake had no cake! All cream! And it was more a flan than a cake!!!! A real embarrassment at my family gathering! Never again am I getting a cake from this bakery!

Stopped in after having dinner in the area. The service was super friendly, and the selection, even though late, was vast. The pastries and desserts are very good. The breads and other baked items also looked delicious.

Not only did it look perfect, but the taste was also INCREDIBLE—so fresh and moist! The lemon raspberry flavour is a must-try. You have to get it! This bakery has a beautiful atmosphere and serves up some truly good food. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but if you have a sweet tooth, it’s absolutely worth it. Their freshly baked goods make for a perfect treat, whether for yourself or as a thoughtful gift when visiting someone in the area. A charming spot for anyone who loves quality baked treats!

Always love coming down here! I’ve had the hot table and the pastries and I am definitely pleased with both. I love the semolina in the cannoli filling, solid 9/10. Really want to try the focaccia next time I’m in.

I've never been to this bakery, but I ended up buying their Lady Fingers cookies at a Longos. And, oh my gosh, they're amazing with those little ends dipped in chocolate. Paired with a cup of blueberry tea and I couldn't ask for anything else for my afternoon. Thank you all!!

Ordered for a shiva. Scoops patter with lox added and bagels. Also a cookie/danish tray. Everything was delivered early morning , on time. It was beautifully arranged, fresh and delicious. Much thanks to Carolina for taking care of us

First time in this bakery. Challah and pastries are of decent quality; nothing extraordinary though. There are definitely better options available, but not bad at all. 4/5. Service: 1/5 is too much. There were very few customers, but we had to wait to be served. After I paid, my wife brought two more cookies, and the lady who served us counted those items I already paid for, once again. I had to tell her about this in a good faith it was just an honest mistake, although strange: as I said, it was not crowded. But the lady was not apologetic: "No, you did not pay", - that was her response. I had a bad luck of choosing a "No receipt" option after having paid ... well, I do not like being duped and asked the lady to double check. Finally, this situation has been resolved, but no acknowledgement of error, no "sorry" at the end. OK, I mentioned at the beginning it was the first time I was at Grodzinski. And the last one.

I recently visited this branch and had a somewhat mixed experience. We ordered coffee and a cappuccino along with some cakes, and while the food quality stood out, there were areas that could be improved. The cakes were absolutely delicious—rich, fresh, and bursting with flavor. They were definitely the highlight of the visit. The croissants and other baked goods looked tempting as well, making it a good spot for a quick treat. However, the coffee was fairly average and didn’t stand out as anything special. The service, unfortunately, was a bit of a letdown. The staff member who served us wasn’t very friendly or welcoming. While not outright rude, it seemed like they lacked the professionalism and warmth that make a customer feel valued. Nice coffee shop with an interesting selection of pastries. There are some unique flavours of croissants but all slightly on a higher price range. The coffee and the matcha latte were great. The place can definitely use some dusting as there were plenty of spider webs around all the ceiling lights!

Delicious, creative looking pastries. I had the Vietnamese coffee croissant. There is a little squeeze container of condensed milk. Very flavorful inside with the chocolate. Not overly sweet. However, the croissant was dry and might have been more than a day old. I would like to try their Basque cheesecake next. Drinks, it's essentially Chatime w/ pastries. Place has ample seating at the time of day we went. Tables weren't being wiped down but otherwise, not super dirty. It has a modern cafe look inside. I've been here when it has been busy, so it depends. Don't expect to park in the area.

A few months ago, I visited Bake Code, and it was a good experience! The outdoor seating area was nice, offering a pleasant view of Yonge Street. The variety of desserts was impressive—not only were they eye-catching, but they were also mouthwatering and delicious. The coffee complemented them perfectly. Wowowowow! They have some really unique pastries. Got the honey croissant, (kinjaki?) Swiss roll, and chocolate walnut croissant. All absolutely amazing and definitely strays away from your typical ordinary flavours. Although I won't lie, it can get quite pricey, but I think for the quality and uniqueness it's not too too bad. I wanted to try the croissant swirls but I'm guessing you'll have to come earlier as they were sold out after 9pm. Also they do some deals like no tax if you buy 6 pastries or buy 5 get 1 free. Might take advantage of that next time. One thing I might request from the owners is to add plastic cutlery and napkins with the order. Also they charge for bags which is normally complimentary at most bakeries which I thought was bizzare.

When I arrived, the place was packed with people, but the staff was quick and respectful while taking orders. They didn’t rush me when I asked about different items. All the pastries were fresh, with a delicate flavor and balanced sweetness. My top recommendation, however, is their cheesecakes. Be sure to give them a try!

Tried cakes and unique croissant flavors here 2 years ago — and after a long break, came back for their ‘Skin’ desserts. Tried 4 flavors this time: tiramisu coffee, mango, strawberry, and red velvet — all fresh, all extraordinary!

I’ve recently been diagnosed with Celiac & placed an order for gluten-free cupcakes and cake and I am soooo impressed. Absolutely beautiful work & amazing flavour - probably my favourite buttercream. I’ve used Patisserie V Marie for cakes for the last 7 years and they never miss. I am a baker myself but for special occasions, I always like to order from here as their cakes have a professional clean finish and are so so so tasty. I do wish they had more flavours for their cakes and fillings, but the ones they have have been perfect. Would recommend 10/10 times. I’ve attached pictures of some cakes over the years.

I used Patisserie V Marie twice so far. The first was for my daughters baptism, last year, the second for my older daughters communion, this past weekend. With both events I recieved absolutely amazing customer service! The design of the cakes was exactly what was on the image I shared and the flavours were delicious! I will definitely be using them for future events and be happy to recommend them.

I came here in the morning - hoping to get some pastries for a little get together. I didn’t quite look into it and realized as I walked in that it’s predominately an order ahead kind of place, and while they didn’t have much on offer other than cupcakes and a few pre wrapped cookies, everything that was there looked gorgeous. I was hoping for some croissants and danishes but came out with some cupcakes since that was really all they had and they not only looked beautiful but were very delicious. The service was excellent- I had my hands full and they walked me to my car! Highly recommend if you are ordering! I can’t speak for the cakes but I imagine their cupcakes are close in taste and texture and those were wonderful! Thank you!

This place is so pretty. Pretty pastries both sweet and savory, pretty chameleon color tables, pretty forks and knives. I was blown away visually before I even tried the food. Each pastry is a little pricey at first glance, but I think they're too big for a single person. Shared between 2 or 3 friends the price is good. I tried the chocolate croissant and it was generously filled with a chocolate cream. A great departure from the usual hazelnut spread or hardened not of chocolate. I had it with a decaf iced latte on the side. (Even the takeout cups are pretty) It's a really nice place to meet for a coffee and a treat, or to treat yourself.

I had this authentic pastry spot on my bucket list for so long, and I finally had the chance to visit — it was absolutely worth the wait! The coconut chocolate and almond cookies with strawberry jam were truly out of this world — perfectly balanced, fresh, and full of flavor. Absolutely love this place! It’s perfect for a relaxing coffee or tea break, whether you’re in the mood for something sweet or savoury. I’ve come here for a business meeting, and even spent a few hours working inside — the atmosphere is super pleasant, with beautiful design and music that’s not too loud (a rare find!). They’ve also added a patio, which makes it even better for summer season.

An unforgettable first visit! I stopped in for the first time and was absolutely blown away — everything from the atmosphere to the service was top-notch. Over the years, I have ordered numerous cakes for significant events, including my wedding, religious celebrations, New Year's Eve parties, and birthdays. Most recently, I ordered a cake for my 50th birthday, selecting a design from your website that read "Happy 50th Birthday Dom," assuming it would be similar to the cake displayed on the site, with the only change being the name. Upon receiving and opening the cake, I was appalled by its appearance. I cannot comprehend how any professional bakery would consider this final product acceptable for delivery to a customer. I am utterly disappointed and frustrated that my cake was served without any icing on top, as I felt compelled to scrape off the top layer due to its unappealing presentation. In light of this experience, I strongly believe that the individual responsible for creating and approving this cake should be held accountable and should not be involved in the production of any future cakes for your company. The quality of this cake is completely unacceptable.

My wife and I ordered a cake from Irresistible Cakes for a special event, providing them with a clear inspiration photo and specific details about the colours and design we wanted. To our shock and disappointment, the cake we received was nothing like what we ordered. Instead of using the inspiration photo as a guide, they simply copied and pasted the image directly onto the cake. Worse, the image was off-centre, and the additional decorative swirls they added were poorly executed—many were uneven, faded, or missing altogether. When we called to address the issue, we spoke to a gentleman who offered only a 10% discount, dismissing our concerns despite the fact that the cake was not what we asked for. This level of customer service was appalling, especially for a business charging premium prices. We left extremely disappointed and would absolutely not recommend this company. To make matters worse, the company has since taken their unprofessionalism to a shocking level. Instead of contacting us directly, they called my wife’s workplace in an attempt to intimidate us into removing our reviews. This behaviour is not just unprofessional but also invasive and harassing. It is completely inappropriate for a business to involve a customer's workplace in a private dispute, especially when they already have direct means of communication. Irresistible Cakes, if you want to resolve this situation, contact us directly. Stop harassing my wife’s workplace and take responsibility for your mistakes.

I was very disappointed with the service. I called to order an all white heart shaped cake and I asked if they could add white glitter in the icing and gold writing on the top. They said that they could and I also assured them that if they couldn’t do the glitter the same as the picture they could just leave it out. They sent an email confirming the details and I sent a picture to them for reference. When I went to get the cake there was gold glitter splashed on the top of the cake and when I asked them to make adjustments since I did not want that, they said “it’s buttercream cake not fondant so we cannot change and the cake decorator is gone”, I offered to come pick up the cake the next day and they said, “no he’s gone gone”. They were clearly just refusing to cooperate and talking to me like I’m an idiot and can’t spot terrible customer service. So I had to choose between taking a cake I did not like at all or leaving with no cake and lose 85 dollars. I have added pictures of the email confirmation, the reference picture, and the cake they gave me that looked like there was an ugly splotch in the center.

Home style place with a ton of bagel to-go options. Stopped by for a coffee and got some breakfast. Anna was ultra hospitable and didn’t expect such level of service at the place. Will come back and thumbs up to you for a pleasant breakfast, thank you!

We've been coming to this location for many years (7+?) and it's my absolute favourite breakfast place for two reasons- the food is always fresh, delicious and not greasy, and the service is excellent. Randi has always gone out of her way to make us feel like family and greets us (and now our son) even if she isn't our server. It's good to see there is a good team of other servers now including Anna who helped us today giving prompt, accurate and friendly service throughout our whole meal. The hostess was also very nice, helpful and prompt. Thanks so much, we will be back!

Had a breakfast earlier today (Sunday, Sept. 07, 2025) and it was an absolutely amazing experience from the very beginning to the very end. The food was outstanding! The service was excellent! On August 16, I visited the What A Bagel location at Bathurst & Elgin Mills and ordered two flat bagels (egg salad and tuna), paying about $22. I was very disappointed with the portions—the amount of egg salad and tuna was so small that it didn’t even cover the bagels completely. For the price charged, the quality and portion size were far below expectations.

We’ve been coming to What A Bagel for breakfast for over two years now, and it never disappoints! The food is always fresh and tasty, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is consistently great. Anna, our usual waitress, is absolutely wonderful — friendly, attentive, and always makes us feel at home. Highly recommend!

The staff was very kind and extremely helpful in offering suggestions that I shud get. I got a mini cake with a brigadiero and 3 easter bunny chocs. The cake was alright - the brigadiero was amazing. The chocolates were good. My problem was value for money - too expensive for the quality.

Amazing Brazilian bakery. My favorite is cheese scorn. It’s made with tapioca flour and cheese. It melts in your mouth, so creamy and soft texture. I appreciate they have breakfast food. I get to enjoy the taste of real Brazilian foods. 💓💓💓

A taste of Brazil in Toronto! I don’t live nearby, but I happened to be passing through and decided to check out the place, what a fantastic experience. I ordered pingado + pão na chapa, pão de queijo, mate with lime, a palm heart empada, coxinha, and pudim to go. The only thing I wasn’t too fond of was the coxinha dough, I personally prefer the ones made with potato. Other than that, everything was spot-on, authentically Brazilian and absolutely delicious!

Padaria in Toronto is a hidden gem for Brazilian cuisine lovers. Their salgadinhos were simply divine! The flaky pastry and savory fillings were a perfect combination. The staff was incredibly accommodating and polite, making us feel right at home. While the prices might be a tad higher than expected, the quality of the food justifies the cost. As someone who has spent time in Brazil, dining at Padaria brought back a wave of nostalgia. The authentic flavours and atmosphere transported me right back to the bustling streets of Sāo Paulo. Overall, Padaria is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Brazilian food. Their salgadinhos are a standout, and the friendly service makes it a delightful experience. We can't wait to return and explore more of their menu.

The coxinha was good. The empadas were ok. The coffee was just ok too. The sonho was under expectations. And overall everything is overpriced like most Brazilian places.

Rafaela and Fernanda were super sweet and helpful with suggestions. A bit on a pricier end than chains, but we prefer supporting local spots and try new flavors!

Always a delight to come here, such a beautiful and cozy atmosphere, food is delicious, and service fantastic. Whether for a nice coffee or tea break, light lunch or breakfast, or private events (I've booked one in the past), they're amazing. They also do custom cakes! This time around I tried their cherry cheesecake and it was so good!!!

O M G... this place is HEAVEN!! I mean literally heaven for anyone with dietary restrictions or vegan. I went with a group of friends for their Vegan High Tea and we booked the private room. It was perfectly prepared for our arrival and the staff made sure to explain everything, check in on us and refilled any of the spreads upon request. The tea selection was amazing, desserts were to die for and food was delicious!! One person in the group was allergic to gluten and she was blown away by how delicious everything was. Super friendly staff and very welcoming atmosphere! I'm already planning my next visit :)

White color interior, make me feel like become a princess. Small but cute, unique, gorgeous place for quick lunch or a cup of coffee with sweets. :) When i get sick and tired of Starbucks coffee, then I will come by here for coffee, tea or smoothie. Need to be place order at the first floor before come up to the second floor. And they gave me number. Later, i get my order delivered to my table. Staffs are very friendly but Not efficiency system. Many staffs were there , not so fast service. Feel like more staffs than Customers. Sweets are little pricy. But drink and sandwiches are reasonable price.

Went here for an early dinner and we were pleasantly surprised as to how good the food was. All menu items are vegan and gluten-free. It’s amazing what they can do with shepherds pie and risotto. Also the date square was fantastic! Atmosphere was very nice. Highly recommend.

Recently visited this cute coffee house/bakery. The design is very beautiful and they have tried their best to have a place resembling a nice british high tea place. Their selection of sweets were not as much as I thought it would be and the coffee felt alittle cold but the sweets we picked were very tasty and fresh. The prices are a little more expensive than the average coffee house in the area.

The interior is gorgeous and the desserts look beautiful! However, the food (salad and sandwiches) definitely need to be improved. I didn't find the cupcakes amazing either but it wasn't bad. You can customize your own cakes. I like that it's vegan and healthy and the service was excellent. There's a high tea private room that you can also book for events.

I'm impressed! The decoration of the caffe is stunning. At the beginning I was really confused I could not find regular milk, and then I asked cashier she asked me that milk I prefer coconut or oat..... 🥺hm.. why? But everything is simple, it is a dairy-free caffe. Though it was a first time I tried coffee with coconut milk, I have to admit it is good. One of my girlfriends have allergy on dairy products, it is great I found this place. She have nothing to worry now. Once again, the place is gorgeous. Recommend.

This is definitely one of my favorite Longo’s locations! The store is always spotless and very well organized, which makes shopping here such a pleasant experience. I often see staff members actively working to keep everything tidy and well-stocked, and they are always friendly and approachable. The quality of the fruits really impressed me always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully displayed. I also love that they carry Ontario grown fruits straight from local farms, which makes the shopping experience feel even better. Truly one of the best branches.

I don’t often write public complaints, but after my experience at Longo’s on May 31 around 5:45 PM, I feel compelled to speak up — not just as a customer, but also as someone professionally involved with the Longo’s brand. While shopping at my local Longo’s (a store I frequent and appreciate for its premium quality and service), I needed to complete a gift card purchase and resolve a transaction error. I had accidentally used my personal credit card instead of my company card — an honest mistake. As a result, I approached customer service to correct it. Mohammad, a staff member who seemed more senior, assisted me — but what followed was far from the professional experience I expected. Instead of being met with understanding or patience, I was told in a firm and condescending tone: “DO NOT EVER MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AGAIN” This was not only uncalled for but also incredibly disappointing. I was visibly pregnant, already waiting for some time, and handling a simple error with patience. Mohammad showed no empathy and no acknowledgment of the inconvenience I was experiencing. Even though he later apologized and cited having had a long day, the damage was already done. I choose Longo’s over other retailers like Walmart specifically for the elevated experience — not just better products, but better service. This incident felt completely out of line with the values Longo’s is known for. It left me questioning the consistency of that brand promise. What makes this more troubling is that I am not just a customer — I am also a developer behind one of Longo’s private label brands. I care deeply about the company’s image and how it treats its shoppers. This experience highlighted a serious gap in staff training or screening, especially for front-facing roles. I share this not to call for punitive action, but to urge Longo’s leadership to reflect on how critical empathy and professionalism are — especially when serving loyal customers who choose your stores for exactly that reason. We all make mistakes. Customers deserve the benefit of the doubt and the respect that any decent brand should offer as part of its service culture.

Generally I don't shop at Longos. With a Fortinos across the street. Prices seem ok or slightly better will go for few items. But the check out process is horrible. So many issues. Especially for lunch. Their buffet like most buffet pricing is a rip off. Small lasagne[best part was the cheese filling) was just over $10. Fortinos is way better fot 7.99 with a piece of bread. STAFF all seem friendly.

Gosh this is an unfortunate review. We always order birthday cakes from Longo’s bakery but this time will make us think twice. My wife pre-ordered my son’s birthday cake on Aug 15 and finalized the picture for the cake 3 days before it was to be picked up. She has the email confirming the image and the pick up time. When she went to Longo’s to pick up, it was completely the wrong picture and cake. Now I understand mistakes happen, but how you treat people in times of mixups really says a lot. The individual working in bakery was not apathetic at all about the incident and offered to scrape the picture off and put a new one on. The bakery managers, Lucio, instead of being apologetic about the whole mix up was a complete jerk about the accident and was hesitant to even give a refund on the cake. Even with the email confirmation, he still was adamant that nothing was wrong. Oh and we had to wait over an hour past the pick up time to get the proper cake. There are enough bakery’s in this area that we have other options for cakes.

Always been a go-to place when it’s come to quality. Cakes and sea food are great. Some items are priced higher and I wish if price on few items are compared as per market review. Other than that it’s always been pleasure to visit Longos.

Our favorite grocery store. Well-stocked, products are always fresh and organized, clean store, and friendly and knowledgeable staff. I still prefer paying via the cashier because the interaction is always pleasant.

Seara Bakery and Pastry – First Experience via Too Good To Go My first experience with Seara Bakery and Pastry was through a Too Good To Go purchase. For $5.99, I received a very generous portion of desserts and pastries. Although the items weren’t particularly Portuguese as described, everything was fresh and tasty. Considering the price, it was still an excellent deal and a fun way to discover what they offer. Overall, I’m glad I tried it and would recommend giving them a shot, especially if you enjoy surprise bakery treats at great value.

Their ice coffees are delicious and the bread is always fresh! Great variety of delicious pastries too! They have seasonal desserts for all the holidays which are super creative (galentine, Halloween cookies etc.,) and a great treat to give to friends and family! Number one bakery in Vaughan!

We love this bakery! The cappuccino is perfection. Like that they have seating. The bread is so fresh. Great selection of pastries. We went during the week leading up to Easter and bought one of their Easter breads-it was delicious! So soft!!! We can't wait to go back and try more of their goods.

The Pretzel Dough is truly amazing. They created the most beautiful and tasty charcuterie platter, and mini sandwiches. They use such good quality products and everything tasted so fresh. We used them for my daughter’s baptism and will definitely be using them again for special events.

Easily one of THE BEST Scones I’ve ever had I ordered a cheddar, cranberry and blueberry scone for my DIY at home Mothers Day afternoon tea. The scones are generous in size with a perfect fluffy buttery texture. As a bonus the staff even heated up the scone so they were nice and warm when I came to pick them up. The team at That Pretzle Dough baked the most moist & delicious donuts and cake pops for my baby’s 1st birthday! These are the best donuts & cake pops I’ve had in my life. They are always nice and fresh, as well as super moist! They were an absolute hit at the party! I’ve also ordered donuts in the past for my bridal shower and the guests made it a point to mention how delicious they were! I had people lining up just for these donuts! 10/10 experience with Priscilla and her team, as always. She takes the time to listen to customer preferences, offers personalized suggestions, and provides a positive experience!

Mixed with a bit of modern cookies and just the right amount of love, these baked goods melt in your mouth and make you want more. Can’t say enough about the biscotti. Can’t have a coffee anymore without one. We had a a few trays delivered for a birthday party and they were outstanding. Will not hesitate to order again. If only they could try their hand at baklava, I would be in heaven.

We were very happy with the cake that was created for a 60th birthday function for 100 people. I had wanted a casino slot machine cake, and it turned out fantastic. All our guests were amazed, and it tasted delicious! Speak to Teresa, I'm sure she can make design or theme you would like!

First time. We purchased a birthday cake and it was delicious!!!

My wife and I recently visited Amadeus Patisserie and enjoyed trying the Paris Brest and a lache pastry, along with a cup of matcha and a tea. The pastries were excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. Unfortunately, the drinks didn’t quite meet our expectations. We had originally wanted to order chocolate and mocha, but were told they were out of cocoa powder, which was a bit disappointing. The atmosphere of the patisserie is cozy with a good vibe, and we appreciate the high chairs by the windows, which made for a nice spot to sit and relax. The staff were quite friendly and welcoming, which added to the pleasant experience overall. Despite the drinks, we'd definitely come back for the pastries.

We’ve been coming here for years just for the almond croissant. It’s my wife’s favourite and I’m a big fan as well. We were just in recently and they had many different flavours of croissants. We ordered a pistachio one and a cheese one. The pistachio was filled with pistachio cream and was really nice. The cheese one, we expected to be more savoury, but it also had a sweet aspect to it. The artistic desserts that they carry are delicious and very aesthetically pleasing. These are great for taking to peoples homes or serving up you’re having guests over. The price is definitely up there but the quality makes up for it. The macarons are also really good and can easily compete with the best France has to offer. All in all, it’s an excellent bakery and I haven’t been disappointed by anything we’ve purchased from them over the years.

Beautiful pastries and a lovely café atmosphere. Amadeus Patisserie feels like a slice of Europe in Toronto. The presentation of the pastries is stunning, and everything tastes as good as it looks. I tried the croissants, cakes and macarons, and were outstanding — rich in flavour, not overly sweet, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Perfect for a quiet coffee break or catching up with friends. The staff were friendly and helpful, even during the busy hours. Prices are on the higher side, but you’re paying for craftsmanship and freshness, and it’s worth it. Definitely one of the best patisseries in Toronto for anyone who appreciates beautiful desserts and a relaxing café vibe.

👎 I am really trying hard not to leave negative reviews and I barely do. When I saw lots of 4-5 stars I was in good mood. Went there with the family, order 6 items to try and coffee... one bite of each... and 6 of us could not finish non. JUST fancy and expensive... how can a coffee be like that?! How can the macaroon be tasteless... how can of the 6 items, none be delicious... how is this place in business? Did not like at all... would not recommend 😕 SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME! Don't tell me, I did not tell you so!

So, my husband bought a birthday cake for me from this place. He specifically asked for one with less biscuit, since I hate it, and was told there was just one layer of biscuit at the bottom. Well, there IS only one layer — but it takes up half the cake. And not only that, it’s also dry as heck and absolutely tasteless — just a brick of bread. The mousse is okay, nothing special. It says there is raspberry cream — there is no raspberry cream, just canned peaches. And the peaches are in some sort of jelly. For just a bit more, you can buy a real masterpiece from Lumiere. Even Costco cakes are better. I would understand if this cake were 20 bucks… Anyway, today is my birthday, and I’m literally writing this review right after cutting the cake. I’m really disappointed. Happy birthday to me 🎉

I used to purchase their cake and coffee regularly. Today, we got the chocolate cake as usual and very disappointed. The chocolate is a lot worse than before and tastes just not right. They changed the cake button recipe and it tasted absolutely awful! Very disappointed. I do really like this store before and become not coming back again.

I ordered a cake for my son’s 1st birthday with a “Sesame Street” theme, but the bakery couldn’t even spell the name correctly. As shown in the photos, they wrote “sesami street”. That wasn’t the only issue—the cake was completely different from what I ordered. It was supposed to be a two-tier confetti cake (as shown below), but I received a slab of rum cake (for a 1-year-old’s party!), which was uneven, smudged, poorly made and most importantly nowhere close to what I had requested. When we opened the box, we were genuinely shocked. I will never return to this bakery. Be cautious when ordering, as they clearly do not deliver on their promises. Photos are attached because I still can’t believe how bad it was.

I stumbled across this as I was passing by. This is such an adorable and unexpected spot to grab authentic tasting italian treats and coffee. Absolutely love LOVE the pistachio-almond cookies. The coffee was really good as well but the cookies were the absolute highlight. If I didn't live so far from Vaughan, I would visit regularly. But I might make the mission down anyway. Loved the quietness, the friendly staff and delicious food.

Nutella filled croissants for my children, apricot filled for me. Cold brew and espresso. Plenty of choices, super friendly and helpful staff. Delicious, my pictures don't do it justice!

This place has my heart. Not only is this the closest you will come to finding pastries and sweets as authentic as they are in Italy, but they are packaged exactly as they do in Italy. A sweet treat was that on Mother's Day, the owner hands out roses to all the moms. A class act. Love love love this place. When there, for the brief time I'm there it feels like I'm in Italy.

Whats the hype about? The only people that shop here are italians that dont know how to go elsewhere. Walk into this place, not a single name on any thing for sale or a single price tag. Not being italian, i didnt know what anything was. You can only ask for a cookie or the thing that looks like a donut. Not friendly for anyone except their own kind! It wasnt even good :(

Disappointing Service Despite the Nice Setting I arrived with high expectations because the place truly looks high-end: beautiful décor, well-maintained details, and an atmosphere that promises a great experience. Unfortunately, all of that is overshadowed by poor customer service. The person who attended us showed no interest, answering every question under their breath as if helping was a burden. That attitude completely ruins the positive first impression. A business can invest in décor, food, or top-quality products, but if the service is this indifferent, the entire experience falls apart. Not recommended.

Today I visited this place, unfortunately, the experience was completely different from what I expected. The service was not pleasant at all, and the employee only responded with monosyllables. It was really terrible. The overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming, and the lack of effort from the staff makes me seriously reconsider whether I want to return, even if it's just to buy a coffee. I was really disappointed, especially since I had heard good things about this place."

Ordered my 50th bday cake and it was a hit! From the beautiful design to the amazing taste. Exceptional! I was extremely happy and look forward to placing many many more orders.

My boss had bought their bite-sized cupcakes from here to share with his staff. They were super cute mini cupcakes - points for their presentation and visuals from frosting to cake. Unfortunately, they lost stars because were too sweet - I mean extremely sweet. The sweetness was so overpowering that I couldn't really enjoy the flavours of the cupcakes (i.e. cookies and cream or vanilla). They were pricey too.

My wife’s been getting cupcakes for special occasions from here for a few years. They taste great and the price is very reasonable.

My boss gets these cupcakes for us and I've always enjoyed them. I went today to get cupcakes for my friend and the owners were so lovely. The cupcakes are fantastic, the cake itself is moist and tasty and the icing is the perfect texture. Its hard to find a good cupcake so these are more than worth the price to me. I'll definitely be back!

My family and I had been loyal customers for many years as my sister is allergic to nuts but we recently had an experience that has lost us as customers permanently. We have always purchased the cakes and cupcakes and were happy. I even had them do my wedding cake. We decided to try the cookies for Christmas and they were quite expensive but we figured they must be quite good to justify the relatively high price. Unfortunately, we were disappointed that some of the cookies were simply store-bought Oreos covered in icing and the others tasted very low quality and stale. I reached out via email to the owner and was quite let down to find that she was defensive instead of understanding. This experience and the subsequent lack of customer service has made my family and I to decide to no longer be patrons of Lavish Cupcakes after many years.

Very beautiful looking cakes and cupcakes. I went to get some cupcakes for a coworker's birthday. The service was amazing, felt very welcomed and was given some cupcakes for tasting. I will be back again.
