Lovely spot - out of the 3 patisseries in SouthPark this one takes my vote for the best for food, atmosphere, and experience. The patio seating area is really quite something - beautiful plants and even a fountain make it a special place where you feel transported out of Charlotte and into a quaint villa. An umbrella is covering each table and plenty of tree foliage so you can enjoy it even on a hot summer day! Food was very delicious - we had fig, arugula, white cheddar tartine and the avocado toast. To drink we had the lemon raspberry mimosa and coffee. And we had some nice desert pastries to top it off. Will definitely be back!

Such an amazing quaint lil place! Everything was absolutely delish! Nice patio seating for when weather is nice. I can definitely see this becoming a regular spot for me.

Went to the Bastille Day celebration here at the bakery in South Park. Had an accordion player, a chef making crepes, and delicious food from the bakery. Lots of seating outside, pretty water features. Had fun. Recommend bakery!

Today, May 10th, I ordered my food at 2:07 pm and my food arrived after 30 minutes at 2:39 pm with a hair. The cooks do not use the hair protector to prevent your hair from falling into the food. Basically when the owner of the place is there everything is perfect, but today he is not there. I picked up my cake on Thursday 05/15, but I ate it yesterday, Friday, and the cake had more cheese than cake and was orange. My cake was supposedly made with Redvelt.😵‍💫😵‍💫

FYI the kitchen closes at 3PM it was my first time but I had no idea. The staff was very courteous and let us know. We ordered 2 orders of beef bourguignon it comes with a side and 2 slices of baguette. The ratatouille was phenomenal you can tell the work it took and the eggplant wasn’t slimy. The bourguignon was incredible. The depth of flavor and richness reminded me of stuff my grandmother made. You can taste the bit of wine in it and I’m definitely coming back to try their other soups quiches and the Coq Au Vin. The latte and macaroons were great one of their regulars bought us two macaroons and took one of our fries 😆. A true Gem in Charlotte.” 💎

Mornings have always been a refreshing start for the day at SouthPark with a quaint atmosphere of Renaissance Pattiserie which is just a few blocks away from our home. This delectable experience is coupled by my personal choice of Croque Monsieur and Florentine Quiche plus the aroma of a cup of cappuccino. It is highly rated and a benchmark for lifestyle breakfast.

This is one of my favorites places to stop anytime. Love the decoration, the environment, the service and of course the food . Santy is amazing!

We used Suarez for our wedding cakes and I am so happy we did! They not only looked beautiful but also everyone raved about how delicious they were! It was all extremely reasonably priced and we were able to get a variety of flavors for our guests: chocolate mouse, vanilla raspberry, & strawberry chiffon. We cannot say enough amazing things about Suarez! Instead of one traditional cake, we had the idea to pass out 10 individual cakes at our wedding—one for each table—and not only did they make it happen, they absolutely blew us away. Each cake was unique, beautifully decorated, and most importantly, unbelievably delicious. Our guests were floored—not just by the presentation, but by how good every single one was. It turned into such a fun and interactive moment during the reception, with guests trading slices between tables and raving about their favorites. Omg 😲 this place is so dangerous if you're trying to stay on a perfect diet, me on the other hand, I'm not too worried about a "summer body" haha. But No this place has some of the best desserts I've had in Charlotte in a long time. When I say that Carrot Cake and Key Lime Cheesecake are the Best I've ever had I mean just that. I also had the pleasure of trying the Cheesecake Brownie and Red Velvet stuffed cookie which were good too! However I am a Carrot Cake person and this has beat some of my top places, the cake itself is so soft and moist, the icing is perfectly layered and decadent, then you get nice pieces of Carrot spread throughout OMG! To Die For 😋 It's safe to say I will be back for more ❤️

We bought several cakes for a dessert table for our wedding. Incredible cakes, beautiful, and delicious. Got a ton of compliments during the reception and lots of people wanted to know where the cakes were from. Highly recommend!

We found you guys 2 years ago and there’s been no question as to what we’re getting for birthday parties! These letter donuts were a hit! I wanted to order a birthday cake for my two year old using one of their house designs but without the chocolate drip on top - would have been easiest thing for them to do but the woman taking the order said they couldn’t make any changes. I understand certain changes aren’t possible but this one would have been so easy. I think she may not have understood rules around customization but it was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had with Suarez.

Expensive, mediocre taste, had to wait 20 minutes for two sandwiches. Bland and not so fresh tiramisu. Has great potential but idk 🤷🏻‍♀️

I tried the egg and cheddar cheese with avocado, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and flavorful! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made my first visit even better. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and I left feeling impressed. This was my first time here, but I will definitely be coming back!

Friend of mine got me an ice coffee, perfect for this crazy summer. Best I have ever had in a while, Best part you add your own sugar!! She also got tiramisu’s samples, Omg that was exquisite!!

How do you expect me to eat a burnt egg sandwich. This tasted like paper and I had to throw it away after spending $8 on it. What a shame, this was absolutely disgusting and I am never ordering food from this place again. Don't get the egg sandwiches here, they always burn the eggs. They don't know how to cook eggs.

the atmosphere of the cafe is very nice and calm. one of the workers (faye? fay?) provided excellent customer service and had my food and drink out in a timely manner. not only was the food excellent, but the server also offered to add syrup to my coffee without extra charge if it wasn’t sweet enough. will definitely be coming back.

First off impressions....very clean The lady behind the counter was very helpful and kind. We decided on a “dirty” latte and regular coffee along with a blueberry muffin and cinnamon roll. The lady let me sample my latte to make sure the sweetness was to my liking and it was. I thought that was a nice touch or customer service. The regular coffee was decent. The blueberry muffin is not your typical sweet muffin. It grabs its sweetness from the real blueberries. The cinnamon roll was super sweet but somehow I couldn’t stop eating it. You could taste the real cinnamon! We got there after lunch time and there just weren’t many options left to choose from. Knowing this I suggest going earlier to make sure you can pick what you like. Lots of vegan/gluten free options.

Sunny’s Special Sandwich (Rosemary sourdough bread) with meat, egg and sundried tomato pesto was decent. Blueberry muffin was aromatic and surprisingly the sweetness comes from only blueberries. Pastry is crumbly and fresh.

This was my first visit here after my co-worker told me about them. I just had to go. All the items I had were amazing! I like that they don't make their food overly sweet. They are balanced in that especially the coco flan and tiramisu. You can feel the family vibes and mood of caring for their business in the air. The staff is sweet as well as the owner. This place is definitely on my list to return to for baked goods and whoever is reading this should too.

My friend got me a Mocha cake from here for my birthday and it was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had hands down. I work at bakery myself so I can be rather picky about my sweets, but I would probably get this exact cake for all my future birthdays. The cake was spongy and insanely moist. The whipped frosting was light, airy, and not too sweet. It was perfectly balanced in flavor and texture, and the price was very reasonable for the quality. The staff was incredibly helpful and professional. I can’t wait to try more from here!

I just had the pleasure of trying Manolo’s for the first time, and it definitely won’t be the last! I was thrilled to discover that they offer vegan gelato cake, so I ordered one for pick up. It was beautifully made, and so delicious my taste buds are in bliss! I can’t wait to try more!

I ordered for a company event at Coca Cola for Hispanic Heritage Month for around 100 people. I worked with Mickey in catering. The food was some of the best desserts and empanadas that I have tasted! Everyone at the event loved the food and the service. Miguel and Mickey were not only friendly but were at every moment ready to help and assist in anyway we needed and went above and beyond. I highly reccomend using their catering service for your next event. There is a reason they are named one of the best bakeries in the COUNTRY! I can't say enough good things!

We’ve ordered cakes from here for many years and stop in often for pan dulce and yummy empanadas. We’ve also preordered tamales for the holidays. Most recently I placed an order to create a dessert table for my daughter’s High School Grad Party. The gentleman I spoke to gave great recommendations, pick up was smooth and pricing was great. Manolos Bakery in Charlotte offers not only the best Hispanic baked treats, but they have incredible and authentic non-bakery related items as well (arepas, empanadas, mini sliders, etc). Manolos provided a variety of delicious food and desert hour d’oeuvres for an office event, and every person in attendance commented on how tasty the food was. Mickey Correa from Manolos took great care of us when ordering, and I’m looking forward to eating more Manolos in the future!

I was so excited about trying this bakery after reading the reviews. I only enjoyed the almond croissant and the s’mores bar. Unfortunately, the chocolate chip cookie and cinnamon roll were hard, tasted stale and were trashed. Overall, I would not recommend this bakery.

Stopped into Villani’s bakery this weekend Saturday around 3pm. There was a good amount of parking as it’s next to an açaí and cheese steak place. The bakery was great, tiny, but the line moved very quick. They had everything from drinks to cakes to small bakery items like macaroons, croissants, cookies and bread. The staff was great super friendly and energetic. Also a great location. Just up the street are many shops and different food locations.

Let me set the stage. My birthday was on a Tuesday, but the big celebration? Sunday dinner. Friends. Family. A gathering of the finest people in my life. I told my wife, “Please, no grocery store cheesecake this year—get the real deal. A proper New York cheesecake. Go big or go home.” She found a charming bakery in Charlotte. Small business. Local. A $70 New York cheesecake was ordered, along with a $7 slice of Italian Crème Cake for herself. We even pre-tipped $15 because, hey, support small biz, right? Total damage? About $96. We pick it up. The place is cute. We’re excited. Fast forward to that evening: candles lit, “Happy Birthday” sung, the cheesecake sliced ceremoniously. I hand out pieces with pride, ready to bask in creamy glory. But something’s… off. One by one, eyebrows raise. Faces twist. Confused stares bounce around the table like a game of Clue. This wasn’t New York cheesecake. This was… citrus. The unmistakable zing of lemon and orange. A flavor that screams “Florida spring break” more than “Manhattan dessert classic.” I called the bakery—still calm, still hopeful. I asked, “Hey, I think we got the wrong cheesecake. This tastes like lemon and orange, not NY-style.” She replies: “Does it have orange slices in it?” Me: “Actually… yeah. What?” Her response: “That’s our New York cheesecake. We make it with lemon and orange slices.” I paused. Internally, the needle scratched across the record. This wasn’t a mix-up. This was their intentional version of a “New York cheesecake.” Reinvented. Redefined. Citrus-fied. A bold choice, sure—but also, absolutely not what anyone would expect when ordering a NY cheesecake. We returned to the bakery—still calm, still polite—to see if they’d make it right. Nope. “Email the company,” they said. No refund, no exchange, no effort. Just a shrug and “sorry.” At this point, it wasn’t even about the cake. It was about principle. It was about justice. It was about warning future generations of this culinary bait-and-switch. Let me be clear: lemon and orange slices have no place in a New York cheesecake. That’s not an opinion. That’s dessert law. Ask anyone—your grandma, a pastry chef, a man on the street. NY cheesecake is rich, creamy, vanilla-forward, maybe with a graham cracker crust. That’s it. Not a citrus fruit in sight. We ended up favoring a $10 Harris Teeter gluten-free cheesecake sampler over this $70 boutique disappointment. And honestly? That store-bought cheesecake won the popular vote. By a landslide. So here’s my suggestion to the bakery: 1. Call your cake what it is—Lemon Citrus Cheesecake. 2. Don’t gaslight your customers. When someone orders a classic dessert, then politely calls to ask why it tastes like a citrus grove, the answer shouldn’t be a casual “That’s how we make it.” 3. Consider that some people have citrus allergies and you’ve made no effort to disclose this bold creative decision. I hate leaving 1-star reviews, actually this is my first ever, but I felt it was my duty. For the next unsuspecting soul who just wants a real birthday cheesecake without a splash of scandal.

Everything we got was amazing! They even toasted part of our order and included cream cheese and butter. The patio area outside had some nicely shaded seating, so it’s a great spot for breakfast or lunch. Everyone inside was very friendly and helpful.

I just moved back from the Pittsburgh area and am so happy to have found this wonderful Italian bakery!! So delicious and tastes authentic.

We stopped by the bakery last night after dinner on a whim, thanks to a TikTok video that made everything look irresistible. It was about 8 PM, so the selection was a bit limited compared to what they likely offer during the day, but wow—what we did try was incredible! I’m kicking myself for not discovering this place sooner (and my pants aren’t thrilled about it either). The bakery itself is cozy—tiny, even. Be prepared to rub shoulders (literally) with your fellow dessert enthusiasts. The staff was plentiful and efficient, keeping things moving quickly, but the pace did make me feel a little rushed—this isn’t the spot for leisurely browsing. Now, for the sweets: •   Chocolate cake: 10/10, absolute perfection! Rich, moist, and indulgent. •   Key lime pie: Another 10/10—just the right balance of tart and sweet. Chef’s kiss! •   Lobster claw: Good, but not quite our favorite. The cream filling was divine, but the pastry wasn’t quite to our taste (though we think it’s just how they’re supposed to be). •   Rainbow Neapolitan cookie: A delightful standout—flavorful and fun! •   Lemon bar: TBD, as my wife hasn’t tried it yet. •   Cream horn: We only sampled the filling so far, and it’s fantastic. We’re saving the rest for later. This bakery is an absolute gem, and we’ll definitely be back to explore more of their offerings. To those about to nosh, we salute you!

Villani’s is the type of place that deserves a sixth star. Was visiting Charlotte and randomly visited based on proximity to downtown and ratings. First impression, there is a small parking lot, hooray! Was already sold. Entered the smallish building to find one of the most beautiful selections of Italian//NY/ with a touch of southern pastries. There was more than ample staff on the busy Saturday morning that were so patient and helpful while I contemplated all my selections. Left with macarons, cake slice, biscuit, lobster tails, sfogliatella, and a large coffee for under $40. Although I live about 90miles away, I’m already contemplating ordering holiday desserts. This bakery is the real deal, I would be here a ridiculous amount if I lived nearby. Just go.

Update 11/22/23: tried to order an anniversary cake and cannot get a hold of them after paying. Their website doesn’t work and their phones are out of order. Ordered our Wedding Cake and a Groom's Cake for our November wedding! While they are a little difficult to get ahold of, the cakes were incredible and our guests couldn't stop raving about them. Our wedding cake was Lemon Lavender with a light purple hue and was the lightest, most decadent flavor. The groom's cake was chocolate and chocolate and was probably the best chocolate cake we've ever had. They were also beautiful and a huge highlight of our night. Would highly recommend!

Lei Cristine was amazing to work with! She was responsive, flexible, and beyond helpful. We met with her twice to discuss the design, flavors, etc of our wedding cake and a groom's cake. WOW Factor surpassed our expectations!! They were able to take our ideas and put all of them on a cake- unbelievable! Both of the cakes were beautiful and SO TASTY! We *almost* didn't want to eat them because of how amazing they looked. We are so excited to eat the top of our cake at our anniversary!

Yes! Yes! Yes! Stop what you are doing and order your cake from The Wow Factor Cake! As a second time bride insistent upon making up for my first horribly ugly cake, my bar was set super high and I was worried I’d be let down again. Not only did the end result WOW us visually but it tasted amazing too! My vision was captured every step of the way and I can honestly say everything was exceptional! I wish I could give more stars but I will shout THANK YOU!

My husband and I were married at the Ballantyne Country Club on June 11th 2022 and we could not be more pleased with our cake! Wow Factor Cakes was our venues preferred cake vendor and we now understand why. They will ensure your special day is backed by an equally special cake that tastes just as good as it looks! Wow Factor provided our wedding cake in September, 2020. They executed our vision for the cake perfectly. There is nothing more that we could have asked for. They offer a wide variety of cake and frosting flavors as well as design options. The price was right in line with our budget, too. We highly recommend Wow Factor!

My cake was not only beautiful, it was delicious! We got married in July and I knew Wow Factor Cakes was the bakery for me the moment I walked in the door. My guests still talk about how delicious the cake was and how breathtaking it was! We had lemon raspberry for one tier and salted caramel for another. Our anniversary cake is carrot cake. I absolutely recommend Wow Factor Cakes because the attention to detail put into the cake is unmatched.

Wow Factor Cakes is terrible to work with. I wanted to get my anniversary cake here since we got our wedding cake from them. Communication for the wedding cake was facilitated by the wedding planner so that was an ok experience for me. Can't say how it was for the wedding planner who had to deal with them more. However, since trying to get the anniversary cake, I've called two dozen times (no response), emailed a few times (no response), sent a request through the website (no response). The cake was fine, but definitely not worth all this trouble. Was willing to do it for the one year anniversary, but never again! Definitely would not recommend.

Beautiful Interior. It is designed like a French from outside as well. The staff is polite and kind. Tried to display the main attractions of France. Food was good but I felt much sweeter than regular.

Enjoyed my experience. It had been a while and I decided to come with family for a quick little brunch sesh and they loved it. Pastries were nice and soft. Nicely sweetened. Coffee and lattes were very good as well. Nice balance of coffee and sweet. A bit pricey but granted we did buy a lot. Atmosphere is very chill and quiet enough for people to bring their work and have a treat. Lots of parking also, its right in front of Sprouts market and beside the Atrium Health Urgent Care.

We stopped by this Amelie’s in the NoDa area of Charlotte after seeing it recommended on several food lists, and it completely lived up to the hype. The place has a wonderful mix of French bakery treats along with great options for breakfast and lunch. We couldn’t resist trying the macarons, especially the fun flavors like peanut butter and jelly and coconut lime. They were a bit larger than usual and packed with great flavor. The café itself is absolutely charming, filled with creative French-inspired décor that makes it feel special from the moment you walk in. The service was warm, friendly, and made the visit even better. Can’t wait to come back and try more of their pastries!

Have been going to Amelie’s since 2009. Boy has it changed but keeps getting better! Went for me and my husband’s anniversary last week after dinner as a throwback. We moved an hour away and did dinner in Charlotte also. Of course we had to get the SCB ( salted Caramel Brownie) and decaf which they brewed fresh. I am gluten and dairy free and didn’t think I’d have anything for me other than coffee but shockingly the pbj macaroon and macarons were both gluten and dairy free. Always a fav!

As a Francophile I’m pretty disappointed in Amelie’s. I used to come to Amelie’s park road location in high school and was impressed with the assortment of deserts, treats and most importantly baguettes. I move away for some year during college and then moved to France after college for a year. Maybe it’s my experience but their sandwiches are just not good any more. This is my third time having a bad experience specifically with the baguettes. Baguettes are so simple but so important to a good sandwich and a good French establishment. These baguettes sandwiches are not small but are just bad. They need massive improvement. Pictured below is the sandwich I bought for $12. It’s a quarter of the entire sandwich which shows really how small these are. Goat cheese is in the title of the sandwich but i can’t taste it at all! Look at the picture yourself and try to find the goat cheese! There is none! Owners, if you are reading this. PLEASE go to France and then come back and review your menu. You can make improvement and bring this establishment back to its glory. It has fallen so far from excellent.

I cannot even begin to tell you how in love I am with Amélie's. This place is such a vibe! Perfect place to meet up with friends or family. Food/drinks were amazing! Such a comfortable atmosphere. To beat the crowds I'd highly recommended an early weekday or weekend morning.

I really like this cafe. The pastries are delicious. The interior is gorgeous. I've been to a similar cafe, but in Uptown, and it was terrible,it was like they were two different cafes. That's why I love going to this particular cafe, in Noda.

Today’s pastry adventure was to The Bakery Shoppe. From the minute my son and I walked in, the young man who waited on us made us feel like we should not be there. He never greeted us or thanked us. When we were admiring the display, he would constantly ask us “Is that all?” I like to look at all options and choose everything I would like to try without being rushed. We were the only ones in line and were not holding up other customers. Out of everything I tried, I would only recommend the cheese danish, chocolate chip cookie (I forgot to take a picture) and peach muffin (although it does need more peaches). The cinnamon roll had plenty of cinnamon but needed cream cheese icing or glaze. The strawberry and chocolate croissants were not good either. I can sometimes overlook the service if the quality of pastries are good. That is not the case for this bakery. Overall, I would not recommend.

The Bakery Shoppe has been serving up delectable goodies for all sweet tooth’s in Huntersville for many years now and is always a great option to sate a craving for a cake slice, donut, cookie, brownie, muffin and a whole plethora of wonderful delights at a very reasonable price. Where else can you go get a huge apple fritter, a chocolate glazed donut at least twice the size of those from some franchise places, an apple crumble mini apple pie, a monster chocolate eclair and big thick chocolate brownie for $21 in 2025 .. yep, at The Bakery Shoppe ..

I came in looking for a custom birthday cake for my girlfriends birthday, came in with pictures of what i needed too. Let me tell yall, they nailed that to a T. The cake was a huge hit and we absolute loved the taste! The vibe inside the shoppe is immaculate, very cozy place to read a book and eat a scone.

Family owned bakery. Plenty of seating. The decor is eclectic, a homey atmosphere. We got coffee & two pastries. The coffee was surprisingly quite good. I had the chocolate covered glazed donut, it was delish! My husband loved his donut, too. You have got to see these cakes! Beautiful pastries! We’ll be back to try more treats.

We will NEVER go to another bakery for ANY baked specialties we need - and the FABULOUS cakes he makes are also sold by the piece, too, so that you can sample your favorite desires ...INCREDIBLE, indeed - but dont forget the DELECTABLE doughnuts, pastries, and cookies of every kind!! (Our needs were a specialty cake to feed 70, and WOW - the Lemon Creme was EXEMPLARY, and they even helped us carry out to our car upon pick-up - thank you, Eros!) Still one of the best things about Charlotte hands down! I visit several times a year and they make the best chocolate products anywhere let alone locally. Knockout gifts everyone looks forward to for any occasion. Love ‘em and great people - always very friendly. Just the best.

We visited Charlotte last week and stopped by this little shop. This is one of the bests chocolates I’ve tried everywhere. We’ve got Sea salt caramel, red Velvet, Tiramisu, Baileys, a few gift baskets and some chocolate bar with dried strawberries. I’ve been craving more since I tried it.

We checked out this chocolate shop. It’s very cute. The chocolate is delicious. I got the last bourbon pecan pie bite of the day. It tastes good with just a hint of a pecan pie taste. That was a little disappointing. The prices are super high! For a bag of a few chocolates it’s $13.

OMG they had a seasonal pumkin cream that was to die for! And they were really nice and super helpful.

I worked with Robin at The Secret Chocolatier via the phone and email (I'm in VA) to place a large order for a corporate event in Dallas, Texas. First, Robin provided amazing customer service and really helped me to understand the process of ordering custom chocolate sample boxes. She kept things on track and was thinking ahead every step of the way. The team even added a custom tag we created with a green bow to match our branding. Second, we were in Dallas at the tail end of the heat wave and shipping the chocolates from Charlotte, NC to Dallas, TX was nerve-wracking! Robin had them shipped overnight and they arrived on time and packaged well. To top it off, the chocolates themselves were absolutely delicious! Our conference attendees loved them! Thank you Robin and TSC!

Just went in on my lunch hour to pick up a sampler box for a dear friend’s birthday. Ended up leaving with a box for her and a box for me. Walking in you’re greeted with the divine smell of chocolate so you know that items here are fresh. These are chocolates to be savored and I promise you won’t be disappointed. So many choices and taste to explore. Woman behind counter was kind and patient. Definitely recommend if you need a gift or want a treat for yourself. Love the extra touch of the guide to the flavors you picked out. Nice! I’ll go back again and again. Oh and they ship if you need something sent out of town.

Everything is always perfection. The latest loaf ‘Almond Cocoa Nib’ is so incredibly lovely. The portion was NOT stingy either! Wentworth and Fenn you are doing mighty fine things with the simplest of ingredients. Thank you for keeping our tastebuds happy and hungry for more.

I had an amazing experience at this coffee shop! The drip coffee was perfectly brewed, rich, and flavorful. I also tried the salted caramel cake, and it was simply delicious – the perfect balance of sweet and salty. The highlight of my visit was the super friendly barista, who made me feel right at home. Excellent service and great atmosphere! Highly recommend!

After getting dinner at Leah and Louise, we stopped by here for some dessert. We sampled several things from their fall menu: caramel apple macaron, pumpkin ginger cheesecake, banana white chocolate bread pudding, and a salted caramel oatmeal cream pie. I had heard great things about the bread, so we also got a rosemary olive oil goat cheese foccacia. We really enjoyed all of the desserts (with the exception of the cheesecake which I wasn't a huge fan of). The bread pudding was my favorite. I absolutely loved the middle bite of the salted caramel oatmeal cream pie, but it made me wish the other bites had caramel too (it was only in the middle). I'm not a bread person, but the bread stood out the most. It was incredible. It had the best flavor and was coated in sea salt. The olive oil made it moist. We were going to save most of it for later and ended up finishing the whole load when we got home. If you haven't tried their bread, you really need to. I'm already wanting to go back for more.

Excellent service! We got a few things from here for our visit, and the barista was very knowledgeable about the baked products and the chocolate for sale. It looks like it’s a lot bigger and nicer than it used to be!

I finally made it! I’ve been looking forward to this forever! Sam is a treasure & her baked goods are divine! I could have taken everything home! Carly waited on me with patience & took great care helping me pick out a biscuit, a vegan pastry, a loaf of the 4 cheese onion & garlic boule. While my husband was in Babe and Butcher I broke off a piece of the biscuit and I don’t think I’ve ever tasted any biscuit like this one! And I have had my share of biscuits my entire life. The size of this thing, Oh my! I had to try Hex Coffee. Most coffees can be bitter, but not this one. It was perfect! I want to personally thank Sam for having me as a guest in her beautiful space! Allowing me to indulge in her amazing baked goods baked with love & artfully displayed. Anyone wanting to experience a unique bakery, this is it! Parts of this bakery took me back to France & a mix of modern day. The macarons were like pieces of art! Don’t hesitate! Get in your car & go experience this delightful bakery & Sam’s charms for yourself! After you pick up your treats, walk around & explore Camp North End, it’s a gem in Charlotte! Update: Update: July 26 I can’t resist coming in for a treat when I am in the area. This afternoon my husband and I shared a chocolate pastry with this amazing espresso cream. I can’t remember the name of the treat but, it was So delicious! I took a little video of it. Of course we also had the Hex coffee. It’s perfect!

Really cute shop. Small but they accommodate with outside seating. Pastries were a bit strange when I went - my pastries were a bit hard but I also went later in the day.

Recently, I had the pleasure of trying the strawberry crunch cake at this bakery and it truly stands out as one of the best desserts I've had. The cake itself is bursting with flavor, striking a perfect balance between sweetness and tartness. It incorporates an ideal amount of cream that brings all the components together seamlessly. What sets this cake apart is the delightful crunch coating on the side, adding an extra layer of texture and satisfaction. In addition to the strawberry option, the other flavors on offer also look incredibly tempting, so I highly recommend giving them a try. 👍

I love BW Sweets. I visited Super Bowl Sunday to pick up a few items for the game. They were out of a lot of things, but that was to be expected at the time I went. I ended up getting the Banana Pudding Cake, Lemon Pound Cake, Pineapple Coconut Cake, and Peach Cobbler. The Pineapple Coconut and Lemon Pound Cakes got rave reviews. They were moist and delicious. The cobbler was undercooked. The crust was not crispy or flaky. It did have a great flavor and plenty of peaches. It was gummy. We haven’t eaten the banana Pudding Cake yet so no comment on that. I still love BW Sweets and suggest you check out this local gem.

I heard about BW Sweets Bakery from Facebook. I drove 32 miles round trip from Concord NC to try it. First Impression as my very first time coming there soon as me and my husband walked in we were not greeted with a hello nothing! My husband asked if they had peach cobbler instead of using her words she just pointed her finger to the end of the counter! When I asked if I could take a pic of her sign for my instagram reels(a post to promote & support) the business she was very dry never asked was it our first time visiting, have we been there before NOTHING! After we paid she simply asked did we want a receipt we said no thanks she turned around walked back to the back of the store without so much of a thanks for shopping there today or at least waiting until we left the store! The customer service was very DRY! Not worth a 32 mile drive on a rainy Sunday afternoon and people complain no one supports black owned business! I didn't try my dessert yet but no matter how good it taste I will never go back! All it took was a SMALL moment of consideration!

We stopped here yesterday hadn’t been in a while. We were very disappointed it did not taste the same at all! The cake seem like it had been sitting out too long. The icing was good but the cake was the worst. The Rice Krispie was not good at all. Really couldn’t taste any marshmallows and very buttery. They get the two stars because they lady that was there was very pleasant and I loved her beautiful smile and personality.

First time trying this spot and We will definitely be back. I had the plain vanilla cupcake and it was amazingly delicious, my son had a few macaroons And he absolutely loved them! If ya have a sweet tooth like myself this is definitely a place to try!

I’m so sorry to leave this review but this was a HUGE disappointment! I love Pineapple Upsidedown Cake! Always have the wet juicy sweet creamy cake delivering all that sweet perfection! However this was my first time buying here this cake wear dry dense and mushy around the top where the pineapple was..I have never met a PUC I did not get along with.. yes I’m a fatty pitatty who loves fresh baked goods! Loved the service and the vibrancy of the counter person!! I came home ate dinner pulled out my cake got west to go to cake heaven and was☹️ Very much surprised and let down. I don’t know what to say in tents of what went wrong With this cake but I threw it away I couldn’t eat it. And here I thought I found my go to spot

I found BW Sweet from a Facebook page and visited for the first time in March 2021. I fell in love at first bite. I decided to order my wedding cake from them and did without any issue. Frankie customer services was amazing and so is his staff. I never had any issues and they even worked with me on last minute delivery. I want to thank you all so much for making my day even more special and please don't ever change your butter pecan cake recipe. See you all soon!!

UPDATED FROM 5 TO 4 STARS: Vicente in Charlotte is a pastry lover’s dream. Their croissants are hands down the best I’ve ever had, flaky, buttery, and baked to perfection. Whether it’s the classic butter croissant, ham & cheese, or one of their creative seasonal flavors like chocolate pistachio or dulce de leche, they’re pure magic. The bakery blends Latin American and European influences, creating a menu that’s both unique and comforting. The staff are friendly, and the cozy vibes make it a great spot to start your day. However, they’re continuously sold out of key items, which means they’re not keeping enough stock to meet daily demand. It’s frustrating to arrive early and still miss out. That knocks it down a star, but the quality remains top-tier.

I will admit that I am not one to typically write reviews as it usually involves having to figure out my password and by then I lose motivation and stick to an occasional ❤️ or 🤤 or maybe a comment on instagram which is the only social media I have and I have it only to discover the next yummy food to enjoy. And Instagram is how I came to know and love Vicente. I can still remember the smell of their amazing croissants 🥐 when I first opened their door and knew how incredible they were going to be. Their breakfast croissant sandwich is huge and I usually split with a girlfriend so we can then also split a delicious pastry too! Their food is delicious and their people are sweet and kind. Unlike the people who decided to give them 1 star ⭐️ reviews because they sell out of their pastries since they are so delicious. And is why I decided to actually go to the effort to write a review today. Two… not just one person felt the need to take the time write a review and give 1 star saying that business is doing bad business simply because they sell out of a product before they managed to get there to buy any. One even stating that they came at 9, 11, & 12 and every time are sold out. Now personally if I went at those 3 times and they were already sold out, I’d set my alarm and try earlier next time. As a matter of fact, I know that Vicente opens at 7:30am, is closed on Mondays, and closes when they sell out. So when I have a Vicente craving I make sure I am there no later than 7:45am to get what I want or accept the consequences that what I want may be gone. Being mad at business for being sold out of a special is like walking into a bakery mid October and being mad that they no longer have the September donut of the month. Come on people do better! Be better! And for everyone else who already knows how good Vicente is, take the time to write a review and help raise Vicente star score back up from the 1 stars ⭐️ people who should be given themselves a 1 ⭐️ star!

I cannot recommend enough this place. It is by FAR and without a doubt the BEST bakery in Charlotte. Pastries are freshly baked and you can tell, they have great customer service and they are always coming up with new flavors and ideas (which is dangerous because there’s always something new to try). I love it and always find an excuse to go get their stuff. Just a heads up, go early cuz they are so good that they will ran out of goodies if you get there late!!!! I love you guys!

Staff is always attentive. The food is always amazing! Fresh, hot and delicious. I remember my first time I showed up a little after 11 not knowing that breakfast had stopped and out of the kindness of her heart their chef made me a breakfast sandwich. I always make sure to get there before 11 now!

Great bakery. Pay to park due to being in the city there is a parking garage right before the bakery and then some parking around the corner if you turn right at the light. But a good bakery some empanadas and breakfast things to order. As well as baked goods, a lot of croissant style baked goods. Coffees and other drinks available as well.

I have been to Vicente several times. I like their pastries, but they are huge. Like all American, giant portion huge. Some are definitely better than others. Today, I got a ham and cheese croissant. It was definitely not super flaky. The top layer was flaky, but it kind of fell off and the other layers were almost bready. The filling was average- I would label it as a lot of fluff, but not a lot of stuff. The coffee was good. I got a double espresso. I think had I just said espresso, I would have gotten the same amount and not had the upcharge for a double. The outside seating area was nice. There was plenty of space and plenty of shade.

I love this bakery, so much! Recently purchased a vintage 9” cake for my best friends bridal shower. The theme was pearls and Prosecco, and the cake was vanilla with buttercream frosting. It was delicious and such a piece of art- it was gorgeous. I recommend!

We ordered a strawberry shortcake for a birthday celebration, and it was absolutely delicious! This was our first time trying this bakery, and we were so impressed — not just with the generous size of the cake, but also with its perfect texture. The cake was thick but moist, and flavorful, and the strawberry filling and topping was not overly sweet. It’s really nice with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a cup of warm tea. We’ve had our share of disappointing cakes in the past, from well known bakeries in CLT (I never out the bad, just praise the good) but this one truly stood out. We’re so glad we gave this bakery a try — it’s definitely our new go-to for special occasions. I’m also looking forward to trying their other baked goods — I’ve heard great things about their cookies!

Our wedding cake was absolute perfection thanks to their incredibly talented team! Every flavor was rich, moist, and perfectly balanced—no dry or overly sweet cake here. We went with a simple heart shaped cake. Not only did it taste amazing, but the cake was also stunning to look at. It was elegant, beautifully detailed, and matched our wedding aesthetic to a tee. If you want a wedding cake that truly wows in both taste and design, look no further. Our cake was a highlight of the night, and we’re still dreaming about it weeks later. Absolute 10/10! Great little find while visiting for the day. Staff were friendly and guided me through the menu. The avocado toast was exceptional with fresh and curated ingredients. The hot almond milk latte was velvety and smooth. My husband had the cold brew and describe it as “good”. Prices were very reasonable for the quality. If I lived in the area I would be a repeat customer. Overall, recommend!

These cookies are very good. My favorite of course is the classic chocolate chip. I also tried the oreo cookie that has white chocolate chips. I tried the pumping chocolate chip brownie cookie as well. Must try. Customer service is excellent! It's a cute little place that's very pleasant to visit.

There are many styles and preferences when it comes to baked goods, but the Batch House is the place to go when you desire perfection. They do not offer 50 selections, but every element of every offering has been noticeably toiled over until faultless. You can purchase 15 different sweet treats all baked exactly how each should be, with fun flavor combos that are distinct and harmonious. If you have eaten at multiple other "unnamed cookie places" and always feel meh because you like the idea of the flavor combos but the execution is always horrible, you will fall in love with Batch House. Selections start at $3+ but I labeled $10-$20 per person because I cannot fathom how anyone leaves here spending less. P.S. I think the strawberry pistachio cookie got me pregnant.

I recently had an exceptional experience with The Batch House. I ordered a sheet cake for a baby shower and sent a photo inspiration. The cake was absolutely gorgeous, even better than the photo I sent, and it was delicious with a fabulous dulce de leche filling. People asked me all afternoon where the incredible cake was from. Additionally, the cake was very fairly priced. I will definitely be using The Batch House for all my future dessert needs. Thank you!!

Popped in for some fresh bread, I was with my 19-year-old. He's never had a French bag yet. Fresh before. Oh my God. This bread was so fresh and so warm. I could feel it through the bag. The gentleman at the counter was extremely nice. We had a conversation about baguette and needless to say I live in Denver and I will drive here at least every two weeks to get my bread. It was that amazing.

This is hands down the best bakery in clt. I was there a little later in the day for my birthday and the two guys working were so charismatic and friendly! We got a chocolate croissant and a toast. Amazing. I’m convinced there’s nothing bad on the menu.

Great sourdough! It has a great tang. The bakery takes orders at the door. You can see all of the work these fabulous bakers do. There is no sit down area. They also have a slicer if you like the loaf pre-sliced. I also really enjoy the english muffins and brioche dinner rolls.

A trip from Colorado to North Carolina had me looking for bakeries to visit. I had a list and Verdant was on it, glad it was! I got a baguette at about 9am and it was perfectly warm and ready to enjoy. Walked over to common market bought some hummus and tore into it. Just wish I had time to enjoy more of their bread, can't wait to visit again. Thanks for the bakery suggestions in Asheville, ended up buying "Southern Ground" bread/flour book.

So... We love sourdough bread. We're new to Charlotte but couldn't find any good, wholesome stuff in the grocery stores. Then we found Verdant! Stopped by and got a loaf and English muffins and they were ridiculously delicious! I'm now on a $30/month subscription for one fresh made loaf a week. That's a great deal altho 1 loaf might not be enough :)

Thank God for these bakers' dedication and discipline to the art of making fresh warm,tasty ,sour dough bread in Charlotte. I love love the friendly peaceful vibe in the bakery. Drove from Monroe and it was worth the trip.

I have been getting bread at Verdant for the past year and it’s excellent! The best baguette in Charlotte (I grew up in France and have tried a few … :-)) … I just bought a fougasse bread today and it’s outstanding! My wife said it was the best bread she’d ever had! Do yourself a favor and take the detour to pick some up. Plus the owners are super nice folks and take the time to chat with you if you are interested in bread. I’ve been trying to get some CLT restaurants to up their bread game by sourcing their bread from Verdant … spread the word.

Luna does such wonderful work. Her cakes are not just beautiful, but they are delicious. They have the most perfect texture and combination of flavor. We will continue to order our special occasion cakes and treats from Cakes and Bakes as she never disappoints.

We ordered a Vegan Hamilton cake for my sons birthday. He is dairy and egg allergic so it was super important for us to find someone who we trusted. Not only was the cake beautiful but it was absolutely delicious! We had a mix of Vegan Chocolate and Vegan Coconut! Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. Luna was wonderful to work with and made the whole process easy. Would recommend to anyone!

Amazing! The cake and cupcakes were DELICIOUS and BEAUTIFUL! Exactly what we wanted. Luna was so helpful with quantity suggestions, flavor combinations, and setting up our dessert table. She helped us individually package our cupcakes with made people more comfortable eating them during COVID, but also allowed them to take extras home.

Awesome local bakery. have gotten some cupcakes from here occasionally and have always been happy with them! My personal favorites are the Red Velvet cupcakes. A lot of the time bakery's make their frosting waaay to sweet. Tizzerts makes theirs sweet, but not overbearing, which i love because then you can actually taste the cake part of the cupcake. 10/10!

My best friend and I ordered a red velvet cake for my partners birthday. The staff was friendly, met Tiz the owner, wrote on the cake for me and sent us on our way. When I tell you this was one of the best cakes I have ever had. The cake was moist, cream cheese icing was delicious (not too sweet) and priced just right. Can’t wait to order again!

We needed a cake for a special occasion. Could not get what we wanted at Dean and Deluca, our usual choice for cake. We had heard of Tizzerts. Ordered a vanilla raspberry cake several days ahead. The location of the bakery is in a humble office park. Upon arriving, the staff were extremely attentive that the cake be carried and placed in the car without mishap. Their pride in their cakes was noted and deserved. Presentation was fantastic. Best cake we have had in years. Not too sweet yet moist with delicious taste. Highly, highly recommend!

I had the Carrot pecan cupcake which was overall pretty good. The icing is unique because it was a whipped cream cheese icing which was very good, but the cupcake was a little dry. I also has a salted caramel cupcake with a whipped buttercream icing drizzles with caramel....which was mediocre. That cupcake was really dry and lacked flavor. If the rating was 1-10...I'd give their cupcakes a 5 for being average.

Entire order was wrong! Ordered 3 weeks in advance. Forced to pay order in full ($75) when I ordered. Picked up order...Cake was the wrong color (purple) and I was told I did not specify a certain color when I ordered (I asked for green). Writing on the cake was horrible, sloppy and looked as for a 5 year old wrote it. Top of the cake had smears on it as if someone was trying to fix a mistake. I was horrified when I saw the cake. I had to forward them an email proving I requested a green cake. Yes I received a refund but my best friend had no cake for her birthday.

Fantastic job on the beautiful Royal Garden cake (vanilla raspberry) I ordered for my mom's surprise 80th birthday dinner!! The cake was as delicious as it was beautiful! And extra thanks for making sure it was packaged so safely for me to get it to the party safely!!

Had a wonderful experience today at Tizzerts! Everything I ordered looked wonderful and the customer service was amazing. They bent over backwards to make sure my special day was perfect. It was like having concierge service. That last review doesn’t sound like we’re talking about the same place. Sounds like she was just a grump. I had the best experience at Tizzerts!! My wife and I wanted to get a cake for our daughter’s 1st birthday. As such, we reached out to Sweet Boutique Bakery. Debbie was very responsive and worked with us in designing a cake that matched the theme of the birthday. Not only did the design come out beautiful, the cake was one of the best, if not the best, cake that I have ever had. Our birthday guests could not stop talking about how good the cake was. Moreover, a couple family members came over the day after the birthday party to have another slice because the cake was that good. Our only regret is that we did not order a larger size because my wife and I only got to eat one slice of cake each. We certainly will be returning customers of Sweet Boutique Bakery.

I purchased a 6" two layer cake for my sister's 25th birthday and we really couldn't be more pleased! Debbie was very easy to work with, made helpful suggestions regarding which frosting would work best for our design, and executed the look we were going for flawlessly. The cake itself was dense and delicious!

Absolutely stunning work! My daughter loved the cake. It was a hit at her party as well. I am giving this 5 stars due to the looks of the cake and the how easy it was to work with the decorator. She is super sweet and does terrific work. However, the cake was super hard to cut and it was not the tastiest. But overall very satisfied with the price, the work, and place. Thanks so much !!

This bakery has blown my expectations out of the water! I grew up in NY surrounded by artisan bakeries and have tried SO MANY when I got here to NC. Some were *okay*, but this food? It's comparable to the BEST bakeries up North and no other bakery I've tried down here holds a candle to it. This is my top recommendation for events and weddings to everyone.

Nichole was completely unprofessional. Not what I was expecting at all. The cakes on her website must be photos she took from Pinterest or from someone else who designed it. Or if she did do those cakes she surely didn't design my cake and was behind on orders and had someone else design mines. Either way it's a scam because I paid for my cake to be professional and beautiful like the cakes on her site. Plus my cake was defective it litterly completely fell apart within 3 hours of picking it up, (I have photos & a time stamp) even tho I took it straight home and set it on the table and the A/C was on. It was freezing cold. Cakes are meant to be able set out as a center piece durning the length of a party. So beware of getting a cake done by her because when she messes up you won't even get an apology.

Nicoll designed our wedding cake and I cannot begin to tell how incredible she is! She was so lovely to work with and took my creative ideas and brought them to life. My wedding cake was not typical, but that didn’t stop Nicoll - she took my idea and created a masterpiece! She is so sweet, professional, and responds fast to her emails. Our wedding cake was not only visually appealing it was SO good!!! We did the pink champagne with strawberry filling and our guests pretty much devoured the cake! I highly recommend her for your wedding!

Nicoll really came through for my baby shower over the weekend! We were having issues with a prior bakery and were worried that the cake wouldn’t be delivered in time. By the grace of God we found nicoll’s bakery and called 10 minutes before she was set to close. Within that 10 minutes we were able to pick out the cake we wanted, get quoted a great price, and get everything confirmed 3 days before the shower. The professionalism she showed us was incredible, not to mention how gorgeous and tasty the cake was. We will most definitely be using her services again!

A friend gifted us with the 4 “jarcakes” for Valentines’ Day. Delicious! I love cake and have tried many bakeries in Charlotte, but none can compare to For Goodness Cakes. This banana pudding cheesecake is absolutely incredible it’s like my favorite dessert mashup dream come true. The creamy cheesecake perfectly blends with that rich banana flavor. I honestly couldn’t stop at one mini!

This cart was right behind the halal cart truck in uptown last Saturday. Tried red velvet mini cheesecake and it was do delicious and it was 3$. He has other flavors of cheesecakes and also cheesecake ice creams which I could not try. Recommended!

I ordered the half dozen assorted and got 3 flavors. Im pretty sure I didn't miss any small print but if I did apologize. I was a little upset about that. It said most popular flavors. We had red velvet, strawberry and we believe snicker noodle. That was my fav. We also had the key lime bar. It was really good. I would try here again!

Catching up on reviews. I finally made it here on Saturday, 05-28-22. Needed some cheering up after a funeral, & cheesecake tastes better when I'm not making it. The guy working the truck was pleasant & answered all of my questions. He also mentioned his wife though she wasn't there. I tried the key lime bar & the mini cheesecakes. I had the strawberry, banana pudding, & oreo flavors. I'm overdue for a return visit. I'm definitely trying the ice cream. A Black owned business I enjoyed supporting.

I read about this place while researching our trip to Charlotte and lo and behold they were parking their trailer while we were pulling up to our hotel. I was t sure if you had to preorder before hand but when I approached you were able to order from the window. Service was great! I ordered a sampler tray and was priced very reasonably!

The artwork on the cakes is fantastic! I bought a Peppa Pig cake, and as you can see in the pictures, it looks amazing. The taste is the only thing keeping this review from five stars. I paid around $120 for the cake, and the taste was average. I have had better-tasting cakes at Publix for a fraction of the cost. You are paying for the artwork. Again, the artwork is top-notch!

Purchased a cake slice today for the second time this year. I have gone to the shop on several occasions throughout the years. The last two times, something seems different about the actual taste and texture of the cake. In my opinion, it used to be more flavorful and taste more homemade. Now, it taste a little box made to me. The icing is still good. I tried maple and the regular buttercream. I didn't love the maple though. Ive also had chocolate icing earlier this year and it was really good. The staff are always really nice.

I have never had a bad cake flavor from EA, and I've had almost all of them! This is by far my favorite cake shop in town. I occasionally stop in just for slices but have also purchased many customized birthday cakes for my family over the years. So good I cannot even explain it! Heaven in a cake!

My “surprise” birthday cake was picked up by a friend and the shop had it in an open box that couldn’t close and the only solution was to place a piece of aluminum foil with tape. How does a custom cake shop not have a range of boxes to accommodate orders??? I also didn’t like the pickup window was after 3pm but they close at 4pm. The artwork of the cake is perfectly done as you can see in the pic. My little raccoon and fox are totes adorbz (as the kids say) but the cake itself just could not live up to the task. It was quite dry and very little taste. I expected a moist and rich cake but also, no. I had my one slice and the rest of the cake went into the trash.

My wife, two of our friends, and myself entered the store around 9pm ish. It’s the summer in the south and I imagine it had been even busier earlier. Owen provided exemplary customer service. The icecream was cold and delicious. We will be stopping by again soon with these 90+ temps and oppressive humidity! Great location as well. We were able to sit outside on a patio area and chat for an hour it. Great vibe and trees round the area.

I was there on free cone day, and they did a fantastic job getting people through the line quickly! The only thing that could have made it better was having more employees giving people menus earlier in the line. Ben and Jerry’s ice cream is one of my absolute favorites, and it was fun to try a couple new flavors!

Poor customer service experience - dour employee with little personality - then a stale waffle cone which I told her about and asked for a cup - no offer of apology and handed a cup to fix it myself - ordered a medium in a waffle cone - got a very small amount of ice cream and the same amount as the small my friend got - when my friend inquired we were told there was no medium so she just gave me a small. $18 for two smalls that were tiny tiny. I'll never go there again and will have second thoughts about ben and jerry's going forward.

Erica at Ben & Jerry’s provided outstanding service! She was friendly, efficient, and made great recommendations. The ice cream was delicious as always, but her warm attitude made the experience even better. Will definitely return for both the treats and her service!

What a hidden treasure Craft Cakes CLT is!!! Just wandering the area and followed their sign to cake crafting magic. I was greeted by Brigitte. She’s such a delight. Very friendly and full of smiles. She gave me a briefer on her shop and a nice little tour of her production kitchen. It’s amazing to think that such creativity comes out of such a small space! Kudos to Craft Cakes CLT for using the space efficiently. I was able to snag a couple of cake jars. They were absolutely delicious!!! Please visit and support this locally woman owned business. You won’t be disappointed.

I'm a huge fan of Brigitte and her company. Her cakes and desserts are SO yummy, her customer service is excellent, and her business practices are awesome. I love how she buys her ingredients from local farmers and focuses on using real food. And did I mention those cakes are SO GOOD?!? Definitely recommend.

Brigitte is an absolute ARTIST in the kitchen. She is constantly experimenting with recipes and decorations, and everything she brings to the table is a piece of her heart. For the past few years I have worked alongside her on styled shoots and weddings and she never fails to impress me time and time again. Her vegan cake for one of my 2018 couple's blew my mind! Beyond her baking skills, she is so incredibly down to earth and her passion for her work is truly inspiring. Give this woman all your money!

I ordered my boyfriend's birthday cake from Craft Cakes and we love it! The cake flavor is Tahitian vanilla with Madagascar vanilla cream filing. When we first took a peek, we were blown away by the cake's subtle beauty. It's high-quality and simply stunning. We'll definitely be going back for my birthday in April. 😊

We "eat" with our eyes first. Brigitte's service was really kind, and I feel conflicted about writing a bad review because of it, but the cost of this cake was painfully high and the photos on the website are not at all representative of what we received. I ordered a 6 inch semi-iced cake for my brother and his partner as a gift. After seeing the beautiful website, portfolio on IG, and the tag line "Cake is Food. Food is Art" I felt comfortable telling the bakery to have creative liberty when prompted for any style requests. What we received was a cake with piping writing on top. I'm not hating on piping letters on amateur cakes, or even on grocery store cakes, Ben & Jerry's, or any cake that costs $50 or less, but this is a 6 inch cake that cost $100 overall and it looks like it came from the grocery store or like I wrote the message myself. I reluctantly emailed my complaint to Brigitte to ask what happened (maybe another employee got too happy with the piping pen? This did not look like Brigitte's work, according to her portfolio). Brigitte offered me discounted add-ons for my *next* cake order... But the problem is: I don't have confidence that the next one will be any better. And $100 is the cost without add ons (including delivery). I'm just not comfortable spending $100 again for a 6 inch cake that's just like any other bakery's. The draw of Craft Cake CLT is Brigitte's lovely aesthetic and I'm sure she is incredibly talented based on her portfolio... But this order hugely disappointed. *EDIT: this review was written after the 'personal reply' Brigitte refers to in her Google Maps response. She is actually still referencing her offer for a discount on my *next* $100 order. She has not attempted to reach out since.

I received this cake for Mother’s Day and it was absolutely phenomenal. Most cakes that are beautiful are just that, beautiful. This cake was absolutely stunning and delicious. Everyone was extremely pleased with this cake. We all loved it ,so flavorful , moist, and not too rich where you feel like you can’t eat a whole piece. It was just right. We will certainly buy something again next celebration.

I wanted to like this place so bad because it’s near my job and I have a mean sweet tooth. Unfortunately, this is not an option. The menu is extensive, however, when I arrived there weren’t a lot of options. I planned to take samples to my employees. (They closed in an hour). I opted for the sweet potato cheesecake. All the cakes looked less than appealing but I reluctantly opted for the strawberry cake. OH MY GOD. it was so dry! I’m so Upset with myself for not using better judgement. It tasted like it was made days ago. The cheesecake was okay but also nothing I’d opt for again. The person there was really nice but did not seem too familiar with the menu or the options they had available.

Been a customer since Dec. 2013, I've never had a problem with them. Cakes are always flavorful, well decorated and budget-friendly. Staff has always been friendly and easy to communicate. I have ordered cakes , cupcakes and cake-pops and cookies for a baby shower and heard nothing but great things about them. Definitely recommend this bakery, can't go wrong with them.

My family went & ordered about $100 worth of desserts & once we got home, we discovered mold on my father’s cheesecake. After alerting the owner, it seemed like he couldn’t have cared less. Didn’t offer a refund or anything, just a lazy apology & lack of concern. We won’t be giving this place anymore business.

I've shopped here with the previous owner. I Loved that it was a full service bakery. I could get my fancy decorative cakes then. I still come for my sweet treats since the same recipe is being used. It's no longer a sit down and chat place. I still support.

Came from UNC Charlotte to check this one out, a bit of a walk from the train station and not the best part of town but once you get here it’s super nice cute and abundant outdoor seating. Jay was great at the front and my chicken and waffles were amazing. Two dollar large cookies were a welcome treat and bonus.

Great little mom and pop place tucked away in NODA. Sammie selections for everyone, and different other offerings. The Cuban was great, sweet and salty. The Italian was also comforting, but their battered fries are absolutely a REASON to go! Prices are good for CLT. Try to eat outside and people watch aswell!

We sat outside for Sunday brunch around 1:30 pm. There was a ~35 minute wait for food, which we were told about before ordering. I got the Bubble & Squeak and it was delicious! My husband got a breakfast sandwich and he enjoyed his as well! I see some other reviews mentioned seasoning — ours was perfectly seasoned. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere and will be back! 😊

We both got the shrimp and grits, personally I found them to be too salty and oily for my taste. I also found the restroom door to be an anxious person’s worst nightmare since it is partially see through so someone can tell if someone is on the toilet… but the service was spectacular and the prices were reasonable.

The food was really good, but the restaurant itself as a business is bizarrely run. We waited for an hour for a biscuit, some fries, and two entrees at 11am on a Sunday. We had two little kids with us and a hour wait from ordering to serving is just too much for the kids. The place was busy but it wasn’t like people were lining up down the block busy, just usual NODA on the weekend busy. It’s also so strange to me that they don’t give you any number to put on your table, so the waitresses are holding the food running from the restaurant to the front around the building to the back dining area calling your name. There were times they would walk back and forth with the same plate of food for a few times because people weren’t paying attention. I feel so bad for them. And it’s such an easy problem to solve. The food was delicious and my savory bowl was such a creative take on oats. But was it 65 minute worth of deliciousness? Definitely not. There are plenty restaurants with great food in the area that have a much more reasonable wait time.

Food, environment and staff were all AMAZING! This was no doubt freshly made food from scratch, including the sausage. Highly recommended!

Food was pretty mediocre. Long line that took awhile to order. Not sure why they don’t have a number system of some sort. It’s counter service but then no way to track where the food is going so the servers are just walking around yelling names through the crowded space. My food came first which was the Spanish omelette. It was fine but I also ordered toast and my husband got a breakfast sandwich. We decided to split both because we were hungry. We were done with the omelette before we even saw the toast or BEC about 15 minutes later. The toast had no butter or jam or anything. I feel like they should try to keep tickets together so people can eat together! I’ve worked in a restaurant my whole life so I feel for them - the kitchen guys looked extremely stressed as did the food runners. I can only assume they’re short staffed or lots of new people are being trained? I think if this place could get some things streamlined and organized it could be way better but right now it’s just a bit of a mess. Best thing we got was the pumpkin chocolate muffin - delicious!

Our wedding was in 2020 -thought I had reviewed! Cake was gorgeous and matched my vision exactly! On top of that it was delicious-so many compliments and people wanting more. Top held up in deep freezer and was delicious for our first anniversary cake eating!

I hired Aryn at Delish cakery to make our custom wedding cake. We started with a tasting and design meeting that was just lovely. You are going to be happy with any flavor combo you get, they were all delicious! Aryn really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted with the design. She was really invested in making it look just right for me and the results were stunning. Even other vendors were commenting that it was one of the most beautiful cakes they’d ever seen. All my guests also commented on how tasty it was and it was just crumbs by the end of the night! I kept the beautiful sugar flowers that she made and they are on display in my house as a beautiful reminder of our big day. Go with Aryn, you won't regret it!

I tried a Delish cake at an event recently and oh my goodness! Each layer was a different flavor: lemon, tiramisu and vanilla-raspberry. All of them were fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth delicious, but the tiramisu cake was my favorite — I am still dreaming about it and had to come here and leave a review!

We choose Delish Cakery for our wedding cake and we were SO impressed by the entire experience. From the very beginning, Aryn made this experience extra sweet for us. At our private cake tasting in her bakery, we were able to sample all her cake flavors and pair them with a variety of her delicious buttercreams and original fillings. Her tasting room is just stunning and the walls are decorated with photos of some of her favorite cake creations. We loved trying all the cake flavors - they were all so fresh and yummy… the challenge was picking just one combination- so we picked two! For our top and bottom layers we choose spice cake with a toasted almond crisp buttercream filling. For our middle layer, we choose chocolate with a hazelnut buttercream filling. We felt this combo was perfect for our fall wedding. For our wedding cake, we choose three tiers all iced in smooth white buttercream and Aryn helped us with a custom design! She helped us bring our vision to life right in front of us by pulling up a virtual image of what our cake could look like. At the base of our cake, she featured Garden of the Gods in layered marble wrap in sage green tones with gold detailing on the edges of each “mountain range.” We choose that feature because it was special to our story. We knew we wanted to incorporate the Colorado mountains into our wedding somehow and this was the perfect way! For the finishing touch, Delish Cakery arranged fresh flowers from our florist to keep cohesion with the reception design. She also makes beautiful sugar flowers, but I wanted to utilize real flowers, personal preference! When I laid eyes on our cake ON our wedding day, it was more stunning than I could have imagined! For us, it was our perfect wedding cake. At our tasting, Aryn left us with this PRO TIP - "save a slice of your leftover wedding cake for breakfast the day after your wedding." We devoured ours in the airport on the way to our honeymoon! It paired perfectly with our coffee!

Tried two desserts, both lacked flavor. I agree with some other reviewers stating that something is missing. I’m willing to bet it’s salt, fat, sugar or all three missing. Seemed dry and one dimensional.

First visit here and sorry to say last. First, the good news: the Chocolate Almond cake was pretty tasty and I liked it. The Tres Leches was dry and really tasteless. The Whipped Cream was bland, Carmel just bad and the cake lacked sugar. The variety looked good and stocked full with pastry. Things may sit which may be the problem. Less is more and fresh means so much. Can be worked on and improved by the baker. Prices are not low and you expect more quality. $$$

I wanted a cake inspired in the movie coraline and didn’t look nothing like it, plus the cake didn’t have a good taste.

I got couple of cookies and pastries from here. I can say everything was good, but the Tiramisu I think something was missing. We got a Black Forest, Orea, & Chocolate Almond they were delicious. We also got some Mexican bread we will be eating it for breakfast. Hope they are as good as all the things I got from there. I will definitely go back again.

The desserts are beautiful but they lack in flavor. Items that usually have custard in them have tasteless whipped cream. So disappointed. I got carrot cake that was dry and the icing definitely not cream cheese, tiramisu had that whipped cream and so did the napoleon. Didn’t try any cookies.

Beautiful, charming and simply delightful cafe w/ amazing authentic French desserts! Every bite was pure bliss! Drinks were strong and delicious as well. Loved the gold accents on the decor and cutlery. The space is kept very clean and tidy as staff was actively seen cleaning each table and seat as guests departed. The young lady at the register was very polite, welcoming and patient as well.

Absolutely loved this coffee shop and bakery! The place is small but super cozy and beautifully designed — every detail looks perfect. The desserts were insanely good, and the coffee (we tried the blue matcha) was amazing too. The tables are a bit tiny — we barely fit our drinks and desserts — but honestly, it didn’t take away from the experience at all. Such a lovely spot, I’d totally come back again! ☕💙🍰

This is a lovely bakery! It’s so bright and clean and welcoming. The pastries are very good. Sometimes you see something and you think, oh, it’ll be ok and it is. This was not one of those times! I chose a ham and cheese croissant. It was not the biggest or showiest pastry, but it was delicious. (Going to show me not to judge a book by its cover!) I took it to go, but it was so cute inside, it looked like a nice place to meet a friend or to work for a little bit.

We reserved a "tea time". It came with our choice of tea(very tasty) served with milk or honey. Desserts (Madeleines, macaroons...)all yummy, and small hand sandwiches(egg salad, prosciutto, and cheese). The dressing/jam on the prosciutto and cheese sandwiches were a bit sweet. The egg sandwich surprisingly was seasoned nicely. The cashier brought over our food, explained each item, unfortunately that was the last of our interaction until we requested boxes for the last of the food.

This place has such neat little pastries, I can’t believe it’s local. I tried the chocolate coffee pie and the other fancy chocolate pastry with the chocolate ring—both were decadent. The server was super friendly. We went for the first time about an hour before close and only a few types of pastries remained, so I definitely recommend going earlier in the day for the best selection (pictured, from our second visit).

Wonderful atmosphere, feels like you’re in Europe. Staff were very friendly and greeted us and if we had any questions on the menu. Started off with the Blue chai latte which was absolutely delicious, not too overpowering, just right. The deserts were top tier treats. The Coconut mojito is packed with coconut and lime flavors. Very moist cake inside with a coconut moose jello like outer ring, topped with white chocolate. The Passion fruit cheesecake has a soft cheesecake texture with a big passion fruit flavor. The Quiche Loraine had smoky ham pieces inside alongside a delicious gooey cheese. The only thing I would change is the crust because it was a bit too thick. The Le Picque-Nique had all fresh ingredients. A Crunchy toasted baguette with smoked ham and beautifully blended toppings. Doesn’t get any fresher than that. Overall, Perfect spot for couples and a girls brunch or lunch. Definitely check them out!!!

This is truly a slice of Paris tucked away in Charlotte! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the warmest smiles and the most inviting, cozy atmosphere. It feels like a little escape! I was so impressed that I decided to place a special order for my bridal shower, and I’m so glad I did. Look at the photo attached! The assortment of pastries we received was beyond stunning, delicate, delicious, and absolutely beautiful. My girlfriends were astonished! Maria and her team are so kind and passionate about what they do. You can tell how much love they put into every detail!! This place is more than a bakery — it’s an experience. Whether you’re planning a celebration or just stopping by for a coffee and croissant, Chez Marie is worth every visit. It’s easily one of my favorite spots in Charlotte!

Great prices for the two items I got! Staff was very friendly and the wait time was low, which made the experience even better. The inside atmosphere is cozy and welcoming—perfect spot to stop by any time of day, and I love that they open early. Convenient location too. I ordered the almond croissant with a coffee (about $10 total). The coffee had a nice flavor - not bland at all. The almond croissant was a good size with a sweet breading that’s a little different from others I’ve tried - would prefer regular croissant breading. Overall, I’d come back if I was in the area again 😊

We were just passing through Charlotte on a regular Monday morning, looking for a simple breakfast — nothing fancy. But this place turned our Monday into a little weekend getaway! At first, we were drawn in by the beautiful design and cozy atmosphere, but what really surprised us was how delicious the food was — and most of all, the incredible service. Every single person on the team was so attentive, from the folks at the counter to the kitchen staff who made sure everything was just right. You could genuinely feel the care and attention to detail in every part of the experience. We left with big smiles and full hearts. Highly recommend this gem!

We really enjoyed our visit here! Needed a quick bite to eat and coffee, this was in walking distance from our hotel. Staff were so kind and patient with us, helping us understand their products and substitutions that could be made. I hope to go back one day!

Beautiful restaurant with great vibes! We tried the iced lattes, French toast, and egg biscuit sandwich and loved it all. We couldn't leave without trying pastries! They were too pretty to pass up.

Ordering was quick and easy. Nice selection of pastries. Cappuccino and café au lait were good. My wife enjoyed her French toast with berries. My sandwich was OK - the baguette was a bit crumbly and lacking in flavor. The pain au chocolat was very good - light and flaky with quality chocolate.

We absolutely loved it. My husband and I were in town for the cowboys game and we got up early on Sunday morning and went to Amelie's. We both got the croque monsieur. It was fantastic 🤩. I wish I had gotten coffee instead of a diet Coke. I definitely will next time. Really good! Give it a try. You won't be disappointed. My husband loved it.....and the desserts? To numerous to mention here. Just GO!!!! Absolutely wonderful!!!

This Publix iis my neighborhood location and I enjoy coming here. They are always well stocked, clean and friendly. I would like to highlight employees during visit today. James (meat dept) and David (manager). I took a late lunch to come shop for dinner supplies and as I was contemplating on that to make James had already greeted a customer in front of me, he then asked me if I needed any help and suggested some cuts of meat for dinner. That was helpful and as I grab what I need he was quickly stocking the meats and greeted/offered assistance to anyone that was in his department, leaving him with smiles and gratitude. As I was checking out waiting in another line, David greeted me to have me come to another lane that was freed up. He helped me unload my groceries on the belt and had a small convoy with me as I waited my turn to be scanned. He even offered to take my groceries out. Even though I didn't need help this time, it was nice that he offered. These two gentlemen really made my experience today. They showed the kind that I appreciate from my neighborhood market. Thank you David and James!

Last night, I decided to get a sub for the first time at Publix on S. Blvd. I shop there often and my son worked in the Deli Department briefly over the summer. I had the pleasure of having a young lady by the name of Blossom fix my sandwich. She was very courteous and patient with me, being my first time and not feeling well just having surgery a couple of days prior. I will never forget her kindness. Need more attentive, respectful young men and women like her in the world. Thank you so much Ms. Blossom in the Deli Department!!!! (S.N....THAT SUB WAS DELICIOUS!!!!!)

Slight caution for wedding cake orders (specifically heart shape requests) - although delicious the heart shape was off, it was oddly long? and they didn't even center the writing. The piping was well done though. It was a cutting cake at our wedding for just the two of us.

Bringing food to people today and Kanema at the deli counter really went above and beyond for me today- as the team at this location always does :) great job!

I went in while visiting the area for a few quick things and was very pleased. The service and selection that I found was what I have come to expect from Publix. We were able to get a couple of single serving desserts and the few things that were on our list quickly. The store is clean, well organized and well lit. The prices are in line with what you would expect to pay. The check out process was quick and easy. Would highly recommend and will be back when in the area visiting.

Went in later in the evening not expecting much and met April, who made our sandwiches at the Deli. Such a sweet, caring woman… really made us feel like we were the only people in the busy store. Outstanding customer service & she went above and beyond for us. Will definitely be coming to this location more often. So many other stores closer to us but this Publix is worth the longer drive from our home.

I shop at this Publix location weekly and consistently have a great experience. The customer service is always excellent, and the shelves are usually well-stocked whenever items are available. The store is clean, including the bathrooms, which are well-maintained most of the time. Checkout is also a breeze — the lines move quickly and efficiently. The only area I believe could use some improvement is the deli and hot food section. It’s always busy, and the process for ordering can feel a bit chaotic. Implementing a better system — such as a clear line with signage or a ticket number system — might help both customers and staff feel less overwhelmed. Despite that, this location continues to be my go-to, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone in the area!

I’ll start off with the coffee is amazing! I ordered the 20oz iced caramel macchiato. I love matcha and they had a few different matcha options that I’d love to try in the future. I also ordered the spinach & cheese danish. They serve it warm and it tastes very good but it’s kind of small in comparison to other spinach danishes that I’ve had, and it costs more. I also ordered a lemon macaron. Pretty large for a macaron! I love the texture but it was too tart. Not a huge fan of the flavor but I’m sure the other macarons are good. And they have a large variety to include pistachio, red velvet, and earl grey. Parking is very difficult. I drove around multiple times and to even park in their lot is hard because it is so tiny. And I paid $17 for a coffee, danish, and macaron which really should’ve been a few dollars less.

French-Asian Bakery Heaven! 🥐✨ Okay wow — this place totally blew us away. It’s like a dream combo of French and Asian flavors, and we wanted to try everything on the menu. 📍 The Place: Super cute and clean, very aesthetic with all the white tones. There’s a cozy spot by the windows that’s perfect if you’re flying solo with a coffee, plus a second floor if it gets busy. Pro tip: maybe avoid sitting in a spot near the microwave — not the best seat in the house. 🍰 The Goods: We tried like 7 different things because... why not? Blueberry Cloud Cake: SO good. Light, fresh, fluffy, not too sweet, and honestly just gorgeous to look at. Pink Bread (not the real name, but you’ll know it when you see it): I loved this one — the filling was super soft and just hit the spot. Also tried: Mango Donut: filled with mango cream — yum. Sweet Frank Roll: a fun little bun with sausage inside — Good! Croque Monsieur: cheesy, warm, and super satisfying. That cheese sauce was chef’s kiss. Blueberry Cream Cheese Bread: decent, but probably my least favorite of the bunch. 👀 The Service: Really friendly and quick! We got our order fast, and everyone was super nice. 🚗 Parking: there is not parking lot, so you’ll need to find street parking or a nearby lot. Would totally go back.

Today I bought 2 almond croissants and a couple of other items. Firstly, the other items I purchased were just fine. They needed to be heated up anyway so I have no complaints. But can I tell you that the almond croissants tasted very much about 2 days old!!! I’ve had day-old bread that was much fresher. These things were NOT fresh and I am super unhappy about it. This place is super cute, with great customer service…but the dry hard pastry should not be a thing. Especially at the price point these items are being sold at. So please do not respond by saying the pastry was fresh…because if these were fresh then there is an even bigger issue at hand, because they were dry and hard. Like all the buttery moisture had just dissipated. Even the almond filling was dry and brittle. Just utterly choke-worthy. Let’s do better yall! And just to see if you guys do better, I will return and purchase the same items. Just giving you guys a heads up because I want to sing your praises…but I will absolutely tell the truth.

Tous Les Jours is always a treat! This time I tried the matcha tea cheesecake and an iced tea- both were delicious. The vibe here is out of this world-cozy, lively, and perfect for catching up with friends or just chilling solo. Always love stopping by whenever I'm in the area. Highly recommend!

I recently visited Tous les Jours located at 4625 Piedmont Row Dr #105, Charlotte, NC 28210, Here’s my review using my 5-star rating system: cleanliness, service, decor, food, and prices. Cleanliness: The restaurant was clean. I give it 1 ☆ Service: The staff were friendly and helpful. I give it 1 ☆ Decor: I loved the decor it had nice sitting areas, so it looked like it was a cool spot to hang out in or meet up with friends or even a small group. The ambiance depends on what customers are there. If you have customers that are going to bring their noisy and rowdy, kids that are going to be running around, then you may not want to stay there and hang out and read a book or work on your computer or bring friends there. So it really depends if you're lucky or not. Food: I bought a Portuguese egg tart, which was crispy, buttery, and sweet. The custard was creamy and not too sweet. The chocolate cream hornet was delicious, the chocolate flavor was on point, and the outside was sugary but not as crispy as I expected. I bought a coffee cake, custard bun and another pastries I haven't tried. I also got a tiramisu latte 😋 So far, what I've tried was delicious. I give it 1☆ Prices: The bill was $23. Prices were expensive, I give it 0 ☆ Final Score: 4 ☆☆☆☆ I would recommend this restaurant to others.

We had a terrible experience with this bakery on July 2nd between 1-4 pm. Our manager was rude and unapologetic. We’ve ordered cakes from here many times and have always had a nice experience. However, this time, they made a huge mistake. They gave us a small cake instead of the large cake we ordered, and they charged us for a medium cake instead of the small cake we received. It’s a 1-hour drive back and forth from our house, and this ruined my daughter’s birthday. The manager refused to admit their mistake and wouldn’t even say their name. We could only reach their extension number, which ended with 0969. We will definitely never buy from this bakery again.

Today, we visited this bakery for the first time, and I must say, I was completely won over by the cleanliness, variety of baked goods, and the cozy atmosphere. On top of that, we absolutely loved the flavors of everything we tried! The Spinach Feta Danish, Sweet Cheese and Blueberry Danish, and the Strawberry Pastry were especially delicious. The sweetness was perfectly balanced, which we appreciated since we’re not fans of overly sugary pastries. The only downside was the lack of high chairs for babies. However, our little one absolutely loved the milk bread, so that made up for it! We’re already looking forward to visiting again and trying more of their treats.

Browse novelty items along the way, including gourmet pastas 😍The service staff are pleasant and inviting. As a warming feature there is an open area right outside with an indoor garden 🪴 feel. Lots of natural light, space to connect with friends, get lost in a book - all while enjoying your selections from Copain. I would visit here time and time again.

Delicious cappuccino and friendly, attentive service. I was excited to visit Copain to try one of their butter croissants, it was a bit dry and underwhelming. Also got a chocolate chip cookie to go and it wasn’t fresh at all, ended up throwing it away. I’ve had their cookies before at Bossy Beulah’s when they’ve been fresh and delicious, a stark contrast. Maybe it was an off morning for baked goods. I’ll try again another morning.

Found this place by accident while looking for a lunch spot near Southpark Mall. It's very quaint and had tons of pastries and coffee on the menu. They don't have an extensive lunch menu but their sandwiches and pastries are good. They also have pre-made food that you can buy and bake/re-heat at home which is kinda cool. Although it's a bit pricey nevertheless we enjoyed our first experience at this place.

I stopped in for a sweet treat and ended up having one of the best pastry experiences I’ve had outside of Europe. The cream puff was airy and delicate, with just the right amount of vanilla filling—light, not overly sweet, and perfectly balanced. The éclair was next-level. Rich, smooth chocolate on top and a silky custard filling that made every bite indulgent without being too heavy. You can tell it’s made with real, quality ingredients and French technique. And the macarons? Perfection. Crisp outer shells with chewy centers and flavorful fillings that actually taste like what they’re supposed to—my favorites was the coffee flavor. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the space itself is elegant yet cozy. Whether you’re grabbing a quick treat or sitting down to enjoy a coffee and pastry, Copain is an absolute must for any bakery lover. I’ll definitely be back when in Charlotte!

Super cute French bakery in Southpark, I love the indoor atrium area and the food was really delicious. I wanted to buy everything in the pastry case! The raspberry croissant was REALLY good, as well as the spinach feta quiche and strawberry crunch cookie. My little one love the cinnamon roll.

Our first time at this bakery and it did not disappoint. What a great variety of pastries, donuts and desserts. I would definitely recommend.

Worst experience I have ever had in any establishment since moving to NC. My husband and I had planned to stop by this bakery for some time now and made the trip today. The parking lot was empty as well as the store. When we walked in, there were four women sitting at a table talking. Two with their backs to us and the others facing the door. I stood at the counter waiting for at least one person to offer a hello or how may I help you, but unfortunately nothing. They just kept talking and laughing. I was so freaking angry, but proud of myself for keeping my cool. We walked out when I really wanted to be vocal. Clearly it wouldn't have mattered to them. But I did call them to let them know how rude and unprofessional that was and they just lost a customer. Truly, no stars, but I had to select one in order to post my review.

I can't RAVE about Daphne's enough! My mom was turning 50 on Halloween so even though the celebration was small for now, I still wanted her to feel special for her day. I have never ordered directly from a bakery before, so I went into the online cake request with an open mind and a broad idea. Through email, Daphne and I were able to tackle it like a team and bounce ideas until it was just everything I could ever ask for. Once we finalized on the cake for the Hocus Pocus theme (my mother's favorite halloween movie), I went in on making it the whole theme. All of my decorations became Hocus Pocus and my mom was so surprised that she cried. That was my favorite part. Everyone I spoke to at the shop was so kind and I believe we were all equally excited about this cake! Thank you x a million to Daphne and the team, you all are amazing and the cake was DELICIOUS 🩷

I was in the shop on Friday 9/12 and found the customer service to be non existent. I walked in and found at least 4 woman standing behind the counter working and talking amongst themselves. There was another woman taking an order from a customer and another young lady working on the other side by herself. I looked around fully expecting someone to at least look up and speak to me. I waited a few more minutes and just stood in the middle of the shop and waited.Nothing,not one response from anyone. I have worked as a manager in the retail industry for 21 years and know what excellent customer service looks like. The staff here does not have a clue. These people could not take one second to say hello or even ask if I needed anything. I have driven past this place many times and wondered why I never see any cars in the parking lot or customers coming and going, now I know why. You should consider closing your doors if this is how you do business.

Ordered a cheesecake and apple pie for my daughter’s 30th birthday. Looked beautiful. She loves cheesecake because of the reviews I thought ok this place sounds great. What we got was so far from acceptable on every level. The entire center of the cheesecake was not cooked, it was like pudding. It also had a very strong lemon flavor. We didn’t order a lemon cheesecake. They did give the $72.00 refund for the cheesecake. However, I don’t understand how this could’ve happened when you are supposed to check to see if it’s done and there’s no way that happened concerning how undercooked it was, you’ll see by the photos. The response was “yes they had an extra one for slicing and they saw that it was undercooked and that there was too much lemon added and didn’t know what happen but we’re sorry”. If they knew why didn’t they reach out to me before that evening celebration and try to do something to at the very least have a cooked cake of some sort for the birthday celebration. Also, why not offer her a new cake just because. Very unhappy. TOTAL refund was for the Cheesecake only in the amount of $72.93.

Placed a cookie order for my daughter’s bridal shower. Daphne understood exactly what I wanted, she made a few suggestions, that sounded great. Cookies are perfectly uniform and delicious. You can smell the butter…yum.

Needed custom cupcakes for a grad party and when I sent Daphne our inspiration picture she responded quickly. Our order was ready on time and exceeded expectations. They looked just like the inspiration and everyone at the party agreed they tasted as good as they looked. Highly recommend Daphne’s!

I cannot thank Daphne enough for the wonderful job she did on a cake and cupcakes for a baby shower. It was great working with her, as she took the time to help me pick out the perfect cake when I wasn't really sure of what I wanted. It turned out both beautiful and delicious!

I have posted others reviews on local bakeries here in the Charlotte NC area. This bakery is an Approved home bakery, meaning she has been approved by the FDA and local health office. She is located in Indian Trail NC. I attended a event and Mainly Cupcakes was one of the vendors. The display was very nice it caught my attention, the I talked with the owner and she told me all about her business. She is more than a cupcake maker, she is a dessert designer. Her cupcakes come in many flavors, I purchased eight of them to try out. They all were amazing but my two favorite were the butter pecan and banana pudding. You can find her on Facebook and her website. Don't take my work for how good they are try them for yourself. She make cakes and other desserts also.

Mainely Cupcakes did an excellent job in such a short amount of time for our Son's 1st Birthday. The entire cake was almost gone by the end of the party. The cake was fresh, moist and everything was edible and flavorful. I have never tasted a cake that good! We will definitely use your services in the future. LOVE Haley and Wheatberry! Such a wonderful addition to the Charlotte pastry scene. Always receive service with a smile, and she is a genius in the kitchen with fun, creative options. The treats are hefty in size as well, so the price is worth the craftsmanship. Highly recommend!

Nice bakery right in Charlotte. They had a small selection of baked goods croissant style but really good. We got a fig bar, morning bun and another croissant filled with tomatoes. The morning bun was really good. They had a small shelf filled with little jams and honey as well. Coffees and teas an available. A great spot to grab coffee and baked goods.

I used Wheatberry for a milestone birthday cake and not only was the cake beautiful it was delicious as well! They made the ordering process so easy (I loved being able to customize my flavor!) and answered all the questions I had. We received so many compliments on the cake. Would definitely recommend!

I have gotten a lot of pastries from here over the past few months and obsessed with this place! The quality and creativity of the pastries are incredible. I don’t know of anywhere else in Charlotte that is making baked goods like this. My favorites have been the lemon pie croissant and the everything bagel danish, but really everything I’ve gotten has been so good!!

I happened upon this darling bakery by accident and I was so glad I did! This bakery is unique and so incredibly delicious. Each baked good is gourmet and not typical. I would call this bakery an artisan bakery and the baker, a brilliant artist! It rivals European shops! I couldn't decide what to get, so I got four things. The classic chocolate chip cookie that melted in my mouth. A sweet potato maple glazed scone that was not dry, just the best flavor, a butternut masala scone that I enjoyed eating so much, I wish I had another one. The flavor was so unique and melted in my mouth. It was not dry, it was perfect and had mild spices that were so good. And lastly, an apple chai bun topped with a dried apple slice. There were so many more I wish I could have purchased! They make their own cream cheese to put into their everything danish. People, don't walk, RUN to this bakery in the south end of Charlotte. They also have a "bites" (I think that's what they called it) special for $5 where you can get two surprise baked goods in a box. I wish I had this bakery in California where I live. I would go daily!!!

I purchased the cheesecakes and cheesecake cupcakes for my wedding and they were absolutely perfect. The guests loved having multiple flavor options and the presentation was beautiful. Gale displayed the desserts for us, incorporating some florals, and made it so easy for us.

Gail made the most decadent and beautiful cheesecake for our microwedding last weekend! It was a 10-inch New York style cheesecake with gingersnap crust and a whipped cream topping. Every single guest raved about how delicious it was, and many of them took a second slice home! For true Italian baking and celebratory confections, we definitely recommend Gail's work!

Cheesecake Etc made our wedding cake and it was beautiful and delicious. Gail was an absolute delight to work with. She is genuinely passionate about what she does and you can see that passion in her cakes. We were not only blessed with Gail creating our own wedding cake but as vendors in the wedding industry we get to sometimes enjoy Gail's pastries/cakes at industry events. We also see many of Gail's beautiful creations at client events. It is so wonderful to hear how much others love Gail's cakes as well. She is a Charlotte treasure.

I cannot express how amazing Mrs. Gail and her beautiful cakes are! She made my wedding cake just the way I wanted it, it was perfect and everything I ever dreamed of! Ordered a gluten-free red velvet cake for my mom's birthday and it turned out amazing! I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to what I thought was a cupcake place to find it more like a little Bakery / coffee shop. The items we purchased were extremely sweet but very good. Too decadent for an everyday treat but I plan on going back soon to taste some of their other products.

Kori's Kakes did a fantastic job with my daughter's wedding cake. So many wedding guests commented on how great the cake tasted and looked. I definitely recommend this business to anyone needing a celebration cake. This place is the best.

I was watching the show Sinful Sweets (randomly) lol on The Cooking Network, and the host was going to local bakeries trying delicious desserts, pastry, candies and much more!!! So the next day I googled, "Bakery Charlotte NC" and I looked at several of the Bakery's. And this one caught my eye. The location and atmosphere was amazing!!!! And when I went in I tried the oreo cheesecake!!!! It was to die for! I do advise trying that dessert it's really good! Everyone was friendly as well the owners were there to assist me, and I will def be going back!

Location is Super hard to find through GPS! And that is after tapping on the exact address so no, it's not due to inaccurate input. It kept landing me in front of a car dealership. I drove around, behind and everywhere near where the establishment might be located and still couldn't find it. Where is this place?

Needed a Sonic The Hedgehog cake for my daughter's birthday and they nailed it. Also got some vegan cupcakes for her vegan friends. Everyone loved the cake!
