You can’t go wrong with choosing Pink Baking for your wedding cake or cupcakes! We loved the variety of flavors they had to offer that weren’t just the traditional ones you always see. We ended up doing a 6” cutting cake and 2 dozen cupcakes, which was perfect for our amount of guests. We chose Churro as the flavor for our cake (because we LOVED it!) and also did 1 dozen cupcakes in that flavor, and the other dozen as 90s Kid flavor. They were super flexible to work with and even incorporated our colors of mint in the cake and peach in our 90s Kid cupcakes instead of their normal color and swapped the sugar cookie for our favorite cookie white chocolate macadamia nut! After the tasting, we were honestly looking forward to that churro cake about as much as we were to actually get married, and it definitely didn’t disappoint! If you want amazing flavor and great quality, you can’t go wrong with Pink Baking!!!

Ashley and her team are amazing! I live in Pa and planning our wedding in OIB North Carolina was literally “a piece of cake” with them. She is an artist and took my ideas and colors, and surprised us with the most gorgeous cake! She also worked out exactly what I wanted with all the cupcake flavors and they were a big hit! Everything was perfect and delicious. I will absolutely go to them every time we are down there visiting our families! Best bakery around 💖

I loved the team for our wedding cake and cupcakes. The cake tasting was amazing. I think we got to try about 8-12 cupcakes. We ended up going with cookies and cream and north carmelina for the cupcakes. The ladies were super easy to work with. We went with a small simple cake for us and cupcakes for the guests. The flavors are amazing! We look forward to taking a trip to Wilmington NC to get cupcakes from them again!

Pink Baking Co. did an amazing job on our wedding cake. Even though we only ordered a small cake we were treated with the same care as if we needed to feed hundreds. We even had dietary restrictions. Pink Baking Co is the BEST!!! Pink Baking Co made my wedding cake, and the final result was STUNNING. Ashley was a dream to work with--I didn't have a clear idea of exactly what I wanted, but I sent here a ton of different inspo pics from her Instagram explaining the different pieces of each style that I liked. Ashley came up with a design that was perfect for my husband and me--a gorgeous blend of a more traditional style plus a pop of color. And the cake itself was SO GOOD! We loved getting to pick from all of the different flavors that she offers, and one of the best parts of the post-wedding experience was eating the leftover cake :) We LOVE LOVE LOVE Pink Baking in our house! They also made absolutely stunning cookies for my bachelorette party and a gorgeous DNA-themed cake for my husband to celebrate his dissertation defense. Hands down the best bakery in Wilmington. Wife ordered a cake from here for son’s birthday. We were expecting it to be amazing. The cake looked wonderful. But not sure what happened, it tasted like paper. No one finished their piece. My daughter loves cake, couldn’t even eat it. Not sure what was wrong with the cake, probably the worst cake I have ever tried.

This has been a childhood bakery for me. I have had cakes made for almost every birthday and for many other occasions. For the first time in my life Apple Annie’s has let me down. I spent days hyping this cake up to my entire guest list for a birthday I threw for someone very special to me. I don’t know If management changed or someone decided to get money hungry or lazy but it did not have the same quality as previous cakes in the past. I ordered a custom cake for a birthday the main issue being the images on the cake. Apparently now they are not longer edible. This was a huge disaster watching everyone toss the cake and talk about how disappointing it was at the birthday. I spent $80 and a total of 3 hours driving to pick up the cake for no reason. No love was put into the decoration of the cake. Sadly the saying is true good things do not last. This is not the Apple Annie’s I remember!

I hate giving 1 star reviews. Especially to places I’ve loved since I was a kid. My most favorite item was the Rum Squares and I have been getting them for years. Several months ago I went to get some and the new manager told me they stopped selling them individually and can only be bought in half or full dozen. Which was extremely expensive. So I left, very disappointed. This has been a nostalgic thing for me for so long. I went back today and saw them there again and got so excited they brought them back, but noticed they looked different. They COMPLETELY changed the recipe and they don’t taste the same at all. It’s missing the chocolate bark on the sides and is covered in milk chocolate in replacement. There are now almonds and coconut?? The icing tastes totally different and the cake doesn’t cut the same. It was hard, dry, and falling apart. Why fix something that isn’t broken? It also would have been nice to have a warning that recipe was changed because thank god I don’t have nut allergy. I want the old rum square recipe 😩

Absolutely love this bake shop!!! They did an amazing job on the cake for my husband’s retirement party. It was so pretty and tastes so good. Everyone loved it . We never get our cakes any where else but here . But they definitely went above and beyond with this order.

I love this place . I love that there always college kids working there and love to hear there stories . Today the girl helping me is going to school for Oceanography. Save the whales i told her . The pastries are always good . The bread fuget aboud it . Lol. I have german bakers blood in me and from NY so if I'm saying its good its good . Separate subject is some of the ridiculous 1 star review's i just read snd to those folks I say get a life . If you cant afford to eat something good out then stay at home snd make it yourself . Don't make up dumb stuff to complain over and make feeble attempts to mar someones life's work .

I came to visit Wilmington for my boyfriend's birthday, and was looking for a bakery cheesecake for him, Apple Anne's was one of the first places I noticed while searching. I was alittle hesitant to order because I wasn't sure if we were going to like it or not, I ordered the 9in NY style cheesecake with strawberry filing. It was delicious!!!! I can't stop eating it, I wish I got something else while we were visiting. I will definitely be back!

I had placed an order for a simple birthday cake for my husband. For starters, I’m not a cake person in this cake was absolutely fabulous. We got the flavor Good ol’ blue. The cake and frosting with the hint of blueberry was absolutely amazing. It was a perfect size for me and him to munch on during the week. They had beautiful display cases of sweet treats and cookies . We can’t wait to continue to use them.

One Belle Bakery blew us away with our wedding cake and dessert bar! Every single item they created was so delicious. I’ve always been a chocolate lover and usually avoid vanilla cakes—but their vanilla cake completely changed my mind so much that I picked it for our wedding cake. It was hands-down the best cake I’ve ever had! Our wedding cake was stunning and tasted even better than it looked, which is saying a lot since they added the flowers on our cake for us. Each layer was moist, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The dessert bar was a huge hit with our guests—everything from the mini treats to the unique flavors felt thoughtfully curated and expertly made. The team at One Belle Bakery was wonderful to work with, so kind and professional throughout the process. If you’re looking for desserts that are as beautiful as they are delicious, One Belle Bakery is it. I can’t recommend them enough!

One Belle Bakery provided Pies for our wedding and all of our guests raved about how delicious they were. I am still drooling over the Pumpkin Nutella pie! One Belle Bakery provided great advice on the number of Pies we would need based on our guest count and let us come into the bakery to taste test their different flavor options. The bite size pie option they provided was the perfect grab and go snack to keep everyone fueled for dancing all night long!

Maddi and her team exceeded all our expectations! We’ve enjoyed delicious treats and cakes from One Belle before, so we knew right where to go for the wedding cake. What we didn’t know was how it was possible for them to outdo themselves, but they managed exactly that! We were pleasantly overwhelmed with so many delicious and beautiful options. Maddi worked so happily and patiently with us right up until the week of the wedding to ensure we ended up with a perfectly spectacular and delectable wedding cake!

The outdoor patio is lovely with plenty of fans to beat the summer heat. The staff is friendly and accommodating, especially for large groups. The spicy Philly cheese is top-notch. Plenty of parking however can be a challenging when busy but it's worth it for the huge and delicious burgers and sandwiches. Don't miss the shrimp bisque—it's highly recommended!

This place is definitely a gem! We were in town for a sports tournament and looking for a good place to eat. We try to eat locally whenever possible, instead of doing chains. We opted for this spot based off positive reviews. It did not disappoint! It's a cute little place with a down home feel. The service and the food were very good. The prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are generous. They were able to accommodate my son's gluten free diet without any issues, including dessert. We are so glad we decided to give them a try and will definitely return next time we are in the area!

Stopped in after spending a few hours at the beach. It was our first time here. And it was one of the few places that was not about to close so we wouldn't feel rushed. This is an awesome restaurant! Super friendly staff! Our server Erika was patient with us as we were deciding what we wanted. Then she brought some pretzel buns with tomato basil bisque while we waited for our food. Other staff came over to check on us when Erika was busy helping others. They were attentive. We also enjoyed the music playlist. The atmosphere was enjoyable. The food was exceptional. The steak ordered was perfectly cooked. Ribs were fall-off-the-bone delicious. The gyro was delicious. The chicken burger was cooked to order and was filling. Our Cuban sandwiches we tasty and filling. You definitely get your money's worth here. Portions are right. No skimping. Definitely worth a visit. Next time we are in Wilmington we will have to come back.

We came in as a group of 4 and a baby. We got sat at a good size table for our company. Our waitress was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. She just didn't come by right after we got our food, and we wanted some additional condiments. We had the shrimp and grits, which were delicious, 5 stars, and would definitely come back for that. I also tried the corned beef hash which was also 5 star delicious! I was happy they had gf bread on the menu as well. There is a large selection on the menu and it was hard to decide what to try. I got a side of bacon with my entrée and it was perfectly cooked! The ranch was also outstanding!

This restaurant is a great place to eat dinner. The food was delicious, and the portions were large. The food was very delicious it exceeded our expectations. The pictures don't do it justice. You need to visit and see for yourself.

Cute cafe with some very fun decorations. I think this is better as a breakfast/brunch place than dinner. Pancake hush puppies were SO good/highly recommend. Our cheesecake was so soft that it could be described as melted in the middle but still had good flavor. The shrimp in my shrimp and grits was awesome. Very friendly staff and no wait on a Saturday evening.

Just a few miles from the beach, this cozy space was truly a spectacular find. Amazing atmosphere, clean, inspirational, and friendly service made early breakfast a treat. That was all before the delicious meal. The breakfast menu was truly filled with great selections, so be prepared for the most challenging part of your visit. While waiting for my meal, curiosity had me pull up both their lunch and dinner menus, and no surprise, it was just as enticing. Not only do they have an expansive menu for each meal, but the portion size is huge! The salmon benedict with spinach on top of a toasted Cuban bread was well presented, flavorful, and just delightful. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely return when I'm back in the area, if for nothing else, to explore their other menus.

My daughter chose a cookies and cream cupcake and as she was eating it (maybe 10 minures after purchase) we found mold in the center. My child is allergic to mold, so this could've been very bad if I hadn't caught it before she ate it. I had planned to go purchase more cupcakes to take home, but I'll pass. I'd also like a refund. FYI, tried calling the number and did not get an option to leave a message. Also, tried FB and got a message saying you won't respond there. So, before you blast me, as you did other people who complained of MOLD, don't try that with me, I even asked another local business if they knew how to contact you. You may want to try actually speaking to customers and not avoiding them.

Purchased a cupcake yesterday. As I was eating I found mold in the middle. At first, I thought it was randomly a piece of blue cheese. Since that was the flavor I was getting, but then, as I looked closer, I realized it was mold growing on something in the cupcake. —I really appreciate the additional comment/ follow up from the owner. I can say that the cupcake was delicious up until that point. 😆. I hope you find a solution!

Bought some cupcakes last night (6/4/25) for my wife’s bday. Our first time trying and we were so excited. We got home and decided to save our treats so we put them in the refrigerator. Well today I get home from work and decided to have a sweet tray for a snack. I start eating a cupcake and notice an odd taste from the filling. I look down a find mold. Needless to say we will not be going back.

This shop is top of the line. Friendly staff who shared the story of the store as well as explaining each flavor. Very soft and light cupcakes. Some were layered with fruits, purees etc. The icing is light and just enough sweetness. We tried almost all their currents flavors. The display is simple and well marked.

Saw the "Cupcakes" sign from the corner and had to go check it out and man are we glad we did!!! A cool variety of flavors already packaged and ready to go. We took ours back to our hotel and enjoyed with a cup of coffee. They were all delicious!

Omg!! This place was so cute. After dinner my daughter and I were walking to our car and ran across this place. We were surprised by the self-checkout/honor system. It was easy to shop and easy to pay. The cupcake was delicious too! We will definitely be back.

Came down to Wilmington for spring break and the highlight of my week was all the times we ate at Spoonfed! They pride themselves on fresh food and I can support. Some of my favorites were the burger, the Parmesan chips, and their homemade chia pudding and granola. The service was great and the staff was very kind and efficient.

We used Spoonfed for our wedding catering and they manned our bar at Maven Monroe. They were absolutely wonderful. The team was extremely professional- the bartender, in particular, was a big hit with our guests just for being so sweet and fun! Finding catering for a smaller wedding (40 guests) was a headache- the minimums we were expected to meet or requirements we had to follow were outrageous if we could get any response at all. Spoonfed, however, answered me back quickly and listened to our needs and worked with us to get there. Susan was honest with expectations and never tried to up-sell. After an excellent tasting at their location in Lumina Commons, we built a wonderful southern coastal menu within a reasonable budget for 40 people. The shrimp and grits and biscuits were insanely good. They worked with us as vegetarians to make recipe accommodations and they also went above and beyond to help us get the most bang for our buck with our bar. They offered several options, including just the bartender and garnish which is what we chose (so we supplied all of the alcohol ourselves). Susan remained consistent throughout the whole process, answering emails promptly and providing information in detail for me to plan appropriately. The food was superb on the day and the display was way above my expectations. It looked beautiful and our buffet dinner went over without a hitch with everyone raving about the food. Susan and her team at Spoonfed were always very warm and kind to me and my wife which was particularly important as an LGBT couple. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Spoonfed was absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, they were so easy to work with—helping us create a menu, hosting us for a fun tasting at their local cafe, and then executing everything on the wedding day perfectly. The food selection was creative, delicious, and beautifully presented. Most importantly, the food was outstanding! We had so many guests come up to us afterward specifically to rave about how great the food was. Professional, accommodating, and truly top-notch—I would highly recommend them to anyone planning an event.

We cannot recommend Spoonfed highly enough! From the very beginning, they made our wedding catering experience a dream. They also worked with us to create a private event that was absolutely perfect. She was responsive and incredibly helpful, even finding ways to save us money without sacrificing quality. We are so grateful for the amazing service and delicious food. Not a lot of light inside. It seemed very dark and unwelcoming. Very nice lady working and delicious product.

I really enjoy this bakery, it’s very clean and well maintained and the pastries are great. (My favorite are the cannolis). The staff is also amazing, well, the one girl who’s always in there. I believe her name was Lauren or Lauri. She’s very nice, very professional and will go out of her way to make sure you get what you wanted. If she can’t find it out front, she will stop what she’s doing and go look for you. Very good customer service and that’s rare these days when most food service employees look at you like you’re crazy when you expect them to do their job.

Went in to check it out because they had cream puffs. I don't know what type of cream filling they used but it wasn't cream it was some thing else that tasted like frosting and was way too sweet. I got some dog treats for my dog and she refused to touch it. When she finally did she was sick for about 2 days after. I had to throw them out. I don't know if they were old or what was going on but disappointed. Whole Foods cream puffs are pretty good and didn't cost as much as this.

I stopped by after work, I managed to make it a few minutes before they closed but the employee working was already locking the door as I walked up, she saw me but proceeded to close the door and turn off the open sign! It would not have taken much time for me to grab what I needed and get checked out. To close prior to the shops closing time is honestly unprofessional. This makes me not want to return to this location.

baked goods are always delicious. customer service is not good. part of my order was not in the bag. she had boxed them up and forgot about them. i called to confirm i wasn’t charged for them. i was not, however the girl who helped me did not apologize for making that mistake. inconvenience for me as i do not have time to go back and get them. i understand people make mistakes however she did not seem concerned she had made this mistake.

Giving this a 2 because my kid liked her elmo cupcake. I did not enjoy my cakes. One was a chocolate cake with hazelnut frosting. To me the cake was stale and after two bites I threw it away. The chocolate cupcake with the chocolate mousse was not to my liking. The cake was also stale. I like moist sweet cakes with bold flavors. These cakes were dry with subtle flavors. If you like that kind of cake then this place is perfect.The price was not so bad. I've spent at least $16 dollars or more on slices of cakes and didn't mind because the cake was so good. The three cakes I bought from here cost me a little over 8 dollars, which I'm glad because I was not pleased with the taste of the cakes. Maybe the cookies are better.

Stopped in haven't been to a nothing Bundt cake in awhile so I came in was greeted and decided to get a marble cake and chocolate chip this was definitely not a marble cake and it was so dry ugh very disappointing I can only imagine what the chocolate chip will be like Marble cake has swirl of chocolate through out the yellow cake this was not the case here well I'm happy to say the chocolate chip was good so not sure what happened with the marble

Ok so I got in and the cashier wasn't there, however the place smelt like cupcakes baking. The red velvet caught my attention immediately. That cream cheese frosting was just absolutely tasty. Apparently signing up for the rewards programme can get you a free cupcake so take advantage of that!!

Ordered cupcakes online for my mother's birthday party with no issues. Unfortunately, the phone number listed on my confirmation email calls a random person and not the bakery. So there was no way for me to confirm my order. So I went to the restaurant to pick up the 7 cupcakes and they only had ONE of these available. Canceling my order was also a problem as the store is not tied into the online ordering system. The lady at the counter was very apologetic but not helpful. I had to go to another bakery at the last minute to get my mother a cake. WILL NEVER GO AGAIN!

I'm a cake decorator and baker who is extremely picky about cakes and cupcakes that I don't make myself. Gigi's cupcakes are delicious, fresh, creative, and the perfect treat for just about any occasion. My only suggestion, and one for the corporate level, is to streamline the rewards system to coordinate seamlessly with the point-of-sale system and website (on the customer's end), to make transactions smoother and less time-consuming and confusing for the customer and the employees. The current system seems outdated and cumbersome, and these days, apps are a given. Please revisit the technology needed to make part of the experience at Gigi's as wonderful as the delightful cupcakes!

Gigi's strikes again! I am not a big fan when it comes to cakes and cupcakes...very particular. There's a shop that specializes in cakes/cupcakes 2 hours away, they are tried and true and my go to whenever I want a cupcake and in the area. However, every once it awhile I have a taste for a cupcake and Ive tried just about every specialty place in Wilmington and nothing comes close to Gigi's. The cake is moist and the icing/frosting is buttercream and made to perfection. The "Miss Unicorn" and "Blueberry Lemon" cupcakes are phenomenal! As someone who does really eat cakes, Ive been going there once a week since I came across this gem.

Went shopping with my mom and we slipped in here for a treat. I was surprised and excited they had gluten free cupcakes. I just started eating it and was totally amazed. Best GF cupcake I have ever eaten in my life. I got the chocolate tort. So light and fluffy.

Omg the strawberry cream cheese icing was off the charts! They actually muddled strawberries into the dough in one of the cupcakes I had, you can taste the fresh strawberry in it! Absolutely amazing!!! Highly recommend this for your sugar craving or special event!
