Indonesian restaurant
Waroeng Pohon Omah Sawah is a charming Indonesian eatery that offers a unique dining experience in the midst of nature. The restaurant's concept creates a backyard dining atmosphere, perfect for enjoying traditional Indonesian dishes and light bites with family or friends.
Nice chicken ingkung. The taste is nice but i think i think if you order the grilled one, its just plain sweet soy sauce. I cant taste the ingkung. The other menu also good and the ambience is so nice and calming.
Banuaji P — Google review
I first heard about this place from my mom, who praised the food and the serene atmosphere. The Javanese-style décor, with old wooden furniture and plenty of photo spots, really adds to the peaceful vibe. So, I decided to reserve it for a family lunch gathering. To my surprise, they limit reservations to just two hours on weekends, with no clear explanation other than it being their SOP. This seemed odd, especially for a family-friendly restaurant, not an all-you-can-eat spot. Given we were a group of 15, two hours felt a bit rushed for a leisurely family meal. However, after speaking with my mom, we went ahead with the reservation. Overall, it's a nice place, and I do recommend visiting. The food, especially the Sego Ingkung and Garang Asem, is excellent. However, there are a few areas for improvement: 1. Instead of limiting reservations to two hours, consider a minimum spend policy, which feels fairer. 2. When explaining the SOP to customers, provide clear, reasonable reasons rather than simply stating 'that’s the SOP.' 3. Staffing could be improved. It took 20 minutes for my additional sambal bawang to arrive, and I had nearly finished my meal by then. In conclusion, it’s a great spot for family or group gatherings, but I hope the management considers upgrading their customer service, reservation policies, and the cleanliness of the restrooms.
Puspita R — Google review
The restaurant shows thoughtful attention to décor and ambience, though it’s a bit worn down — which is a pity. Surprisingly cool inside despite the lack of fans. As for the food, it’s decent. Not particularly impressive or memorable, but okay lah.
Ting ( — Google review
The place has unique style in combining spacious seating place with traditional, forestry, rocky ambience. I however feels it a bit creepy to my opinion. The food's taste is just okay. Lots of friendly staffs that are very helpful
Keluarga B — Google review
Sorry to say, nothing good about this place. Small parking lot, cannot small access to the location. Take very long time to get out order done. 1 plate of fried shrimp contains only few. Insufficient number of waiters. The worst part is its smells stinks and too many flies. I will not recommend this place, better to find another place. 🙏
Krishna H — Google review
Nice food, nice place, suitable for hanging out with your family. You might gonna need to book because in weekend, it'l get full booked. For the 4 stars, you may see in the photos i posted, not all the waiter, only one actually, whom did something really disturbing and innapropriate for a well known restaurant. Is it normal for waiter to take notes while sitting next to the guest? Based on my experience it is not. Hopefully this restaurant will improve the service quality. Yet they have something for you which is coffe space and you can choose your own taste, and last time i visited this restaurant, its just a normal restaurant without any special besides good view, green scenery and good taste.
Sonda F — Google review
Great place, good food, awesome ambience with traditional javanese style. Great staff and fast service, bit pricey but worth it when you reach there you will feel like you are connected with nature full of huge and big trees make the place so calm and cozy with the breeze. The food are so typically street food with a la carte menu. Is good for the weekend getaway. Some of the building was decorated complete with lime stone style, lesehan style and high chair and table style. It was so quite during afternoon for lunch not many people coming there. So nature for sure will come back whenever i visit jogja...
Travel L — Google review
The place itself was great! Really. Traditional Javanese houses surrounded with plants all around and a lot, I mean like a hell lot, spots for taking beautiful picture. But! Like any other dreams, there is always a downside. The Food & Beverage. It's just too expensive for it's taste. You can not fill up your tummy here without at least 50K. Well, they do have an economic package worth 20K or so, so I recommend you to take the package instead. Because the food itself taste way so ordinary to be put at 20K or above price tag. There is nothing out of the ordinary for the beverage as well. Just your day-to-day Es Teh or juices. So, I think this place is a bargain. Nice place to chill and pic-hunting if you're into that kind of thing. But, for food, it's another story.

Javanese restaurant
Indonesian restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Yogyakarta, Rumah Makan Manggar Manding is a culinary gem that specializes in an authentic twist on the traditional gudeg. Unlike the typical jackfruit-based version, their signature dish features young coconut flower, known as manggar, creating a unique flavor profile that's less sweet and incredibly satisfying. Alongside this delightful offering, you can indulge in other local favorites such as brongkos and na'go manding.
Delicious food and a lot of menu. They also have nice facility. This restaurant is one of local favorite in jogja.
Fajar Z — Google review
The gudeg manggar is not bad, indeed it is not as sweet as ordinary jackfruit gudeg, but that is what makes the difference. I also tried the grilled fish (nila) and mendoan kremes, they taste great. Overall the food is above average in quality, but its just a little bit overpriced in context of jogjanese traditional food. Its my second time visiting this resto, and it still seems to be low on visitors, again.
Dento M — Google review
Good alternative if you are gudeg lover and want to try something new. Manggar is made from coconut's flowers, cooked in traditional way, resulting in soft and unique texture (normally stewed unripe jackfruit is used as gudeg main ingredient). Food is good, place is comfortable and spacious, price is reasonable. They have special drink called batok tea, made of ginger, lemongrass and pandan, served in coconut shell!
Hartono — Google review
The Gudeg and Teh Batok are very special. So fresh... The Gudeg little bit spicy.... Recommended....
Adin M — Google review
Delicious foods but slow services, I think this restaurant reduces the employees since the Covid-19 pandemic. Some menu items are not available any more also. I love gudeg manggar and Tempe mendoan.
Didit S — Google review
First time trying manggar. I got good recommendation about this resto. But in facr the taste not so good. Compare to its price, I think bit overrated.
MT. H — Google review
Offer an authentic traditional "gudeg manggar" which is coconut flower-based version of "gudeg". Highly recommend for those who seek a less sweet alternative of jack fruit-based "gudeg" or just simply another kind of gudeg. Besides, they also serve variety of modern food and unique "manggar" based food. It's easy to notice from the moderate to heavy traffic, and it has a decent parking space for bikes, cars or even busses.
Alfason A — Google review
good baked chicken, gudeg less good because almost all the coconut is no meat. the place is comfortable, the service is good.

Satay restaurant
Sate Klatak Joss is a must-visit culinary gem nestled in the heart of Bangunharjo, Sewon, Bantul Regency, within the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This local favorite serves up an array of delectable dishes that cater to diverse palates. The inviting atmosphere and friendly service make it an ideal spot for food lovers exploring the area.
The Highlights: The Tongseng that I had here could be the best one I have eaten in Jogja. The dish so good I had to order it twice. The Sate Klatak was excellent as well. Atmosphere: Great atmosphere they even have live band playing soft and relaxing music Price: The price is competitive. Service: The waiting time between my order and when the dish arrived to the table was within 5 to 10 minutes.

First time here, lamb sate really famous here, taste quite good, not bad. But the owner can't provide more beverage.
Lonely E — Google review
The restaurant looks nice from outside with plenty of seats and parking. Went here to take away food. The satay taste is normal, nothing special or out of the world but surprised with the price, expensive for only 4 sticks of satay (40k) eventhough we didn't opt for the rice. Waiting time for the food was forever. I didn't like how the menu did not have any price and only explained by the waiter. Wouldn't be a repeated visit. Really don't understand the high ratings.
N.a.d S — Google review
When it comes to find the best sate klathak in Jogja, you need to explore a lot of places. Based on my experience, each restaurant has different approach and also slight different recipes on how to cook this type of sate. And now, after tried many of them, finally I found the best of the best. Sate Klathak Pak Joss offers different taste of sate klathak. It was tender, tasty and also well cooked. I also tried konyos, basically a deep fried fat dish. Yes, it's a lamb fat. For some people, it could be very dangerous. But it is really really nice. You should try this at least once in the lifetime.

I think the uniqueness is this satay is skewered with bicycle spokes, just be careful when you eat that. Overall everything is tasty
Elmo T — Google review
I'm new to sate klatak, so I think this will be my benchmark for other sate klatak. Sate klatak is a beef skewer made from goat. The stick made from the the bike spoke (totally reusable and eco-friendly). Sate klatak is accompanied with yellow gravy made from goat stock

Benni C — Google review
I recently visited JogloMas Resto and, unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. The food was quite ordinary, nothing stood out in terms of taste or uniqueness. I was hoping for something special, but it fell short of expectations, which was a bit disappointing. On a positive note, the service was good. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive, which made the dining experience somewhat pleasant. However, the environment detracted from the overall experience. There was ongoing renovation on the lot next door, which made the place feel dusty. To make matters worse, we noticed a spiderweb underneath the table, which raised concerns about cleanliness. Overall, while the service was commendable, the food and environment leave room for significant improvement.

the food isn't that special, but good anyway. the service is great and the atmosphere is very comfy. untuk makan sama keluarga oke sih ditengah sawah gt👍🏻
SQ N — Google review
I visited JogloMas Resto with my family for dinner and we had a great time. The restaurant is located in the middle of the rice field and has a cozy vibe at night. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. We ordered seafood, grilled chicken, and nasi goreng (fried rice), and everything was cooked well and seasoned nicely. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. We enjoyed the view of the stars and the sound of nature while eating. It was a relaxing and satisfying experience. I would recommend JogloMas Resto to anyone looking for a cozy and tasty place to eat in Yogyakarta.

Indonesian restaurant
Nature preserve
Angkringan Puncak Bibis is a legendary hangout spot in Sleman, Yogyakarta known for its beautiful natural scenery. The concept of the restaurant revolves around traditional buffet-style meals offering dishes like Mangut Lele, Semur Jengkol, Sayur Kikil, and various fried snacks at affordable prices.
The dining experience feels like enjoying a meal in a peaceful village setting. Plenty of long tables and chairs are available, along with a lesehan seating area. Angkringan Puncak Bibis offers a cozy spot to eat and drink, situated in a highland area with cool breezes and great views of Bantul. Mornings are bustling with visitors, from sports communities to families and couples. Prices are very affordable. I had rice, fish, veggies, and iced water for only Rp17.000. No need to worry about restrooms—they have clean toilets and handwashing stations available.
Marda K — Google review
The location is on Daniswara Street, Bantul. It's a bit far from town, but the parking lot was already full of cars. There were plenty of tables and chairs, and some even had seating on the floor. We arrived around 9 a.m. and there was already a long line. A variety of side dishes were already laid out on the tables, and we queued like we were at a buffet. Finally, we paid at the cashier. Although the line was long, it wasn't too long. We each chose different side dishes: omelet, brongkos, garang asem, beef soto, catfish mangut, bamboo shoot vegetables, lodeh, soy sauce chicken, galantine, sambal, and crackers. Our drinks included iced orange juice and hot and sweet iced tea. At the cashier, we could also order additional beef soto. The omelet was delicious and crispy, the catfish mangut savory with its thick sauce, and the beef soto was tender and savory. The price is quite cheap and affordable. Please enjoy the photos.
Iskandar Z — Google review
A nice, affordable local place to eat. We were around that area and decided to give it a try after randomly checking google map. It was easy enough to find and there were quite a lot of parking spaces. Sunday seemed like a busy day, but we still can find good seat. It is a buffet system, where you go around picking up dishes you like, make payment and proceed to your seats. The food is exposed (buffet) but there are quite a few flies here and there, which I noticed was quite common around Yogya. The view is nice, as it's located on higher ground (without the overly treacherous road/still manageable), mostly populated by locals. The view is nice too if you don't pay attention to the flies. The price is great. It is very affordable.
Buren — Google review
Nice view... food taste average still good and there's plenty of menu at the buffet. Price consider cheap. Should try it when you are around bantul area
Lydia Y — Google review
A vast and popular garden restaurant on hilly grounds in Bangunjiwo, Kasihan District, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region. A good spot for sunset enthusiasts. I and my wife had a happy lunch with rice, fried catfish, nila bumbu kuning, cooked vegetables, an Espresso and an iced black coffee with lychee, .... perfect (5/5). After lunch we spent some time enjoying fried banana, fried tempe mendoan, hot lemongrass tea and iced lemongrass lime (seruni), ... this time it could have been perfect except that the seruni needed more sugar. Customers may choose indoor tables with high chairs in cool dining joglos, or dine in outdoors on carpets or high chairs. Clean restrooms and musholla (moslem prayer place). Very good free WiFi (5/5). Vast parking lots for motorbikes, cars and buses.
Raden S — Google review

Satay restaurant
Sate Klathak Pak Pong 3 is a culinary gem nestled in Yogyakarta, beloved by locals for its unique take on Indonesian cuisine. This eatery specializes in sate klathak, a delectable lamb satay grilled using wheel spokes that impart an incredible texture reminiscent of steak. The grilling process is simple—no sauces are used, allowing the natural flavors to shine through. Diners can enjoy this dish alongside gulai soup and spicy soy sauce, enhancing the experience with additional layers of flavor.
A must go destination when you in Jogjakarta.. You should order sate klathak as is main highlight of this place and you must order also kroyos goreng this will bring you smile in every bites...
Feliks S — Google review
Okay, this place is 5/5 as far as food goes. The place is not that great, but worth the visit since the food is amazing, especially if you like sate kambing and other kambing(lamb) dishes. All the items was top notch, from the satay, to tongseng, nasi goreng, satay biasa, all was worth coming back to. We tried a lot of dishes this night and it was awesome. This is a definite must visit if you are visiting Jogja!
Martin M — Google review
All things meat....speciality is the lamb sate. Lamb pieces on metal skewers grilled over an open fire gives way to smoky charcoal flavours. They have the usual lamb satay...grilled with sweet soy sauce and has a sweet smoky flavour. Sate klathak.....lamb marinated in salt and white pepper and grilled to a medium rare temp. Nice, tender and not too chewy and served with a slightly curried sauce. The game changer and star of the show was kronyos.....lamb fat deep fried...crispy crunchy exterior with soft insides....melt in your mouth.....could order this over and over again!!! The lamb fried rice was also good....can tell its been fried in lamb fat. All in all a good experience....its a keto and carnivore diet paradise. Recommended!!!

we ordered two menu, tongseng & sate klathak.the taste was okay..too bad the meat was super tough to chew and hard to swallow. i cannot finish eating the satay, it was too rubbery. we were expected much since food bloggers recommend this place. the restaurant is big, no air-con, free to smoking inside the restaurant (which is a minus for non smoker like me), lots of parking area, price is affordable

The OG sate Klathak. Went here as less crowded and fast serving, so you'll receive a recently cooked tender sate Klathak. The tengkleng also a must order!
Eka L — Google review
Best sate on earth! Must visit culinary in Yogyakarta! Sate klathak is a lamb satay that use wheel spoke as the media to grill the satay. They don’t use any sauce during the grill process. It makes the texture resemble steak. That’s why I love it so much. They serve sate klathak with gulai soup and spicy soy sauce. They also offers tongseng, tengkleng, gulai, and fried rice. Tongseng taste is sweet, typical of Central Java. The same with fried rice. This is the third branch of well known Pak Pong. This branch dining area is quite big as well as their parking space. The waiting time might be very long during weekend. Moreover during holiday season. This branch accept payment using QR and EDC.

Wanted to try sate and our guide introduced this place. Came at non-peak hours hence it was quite. Ordered the norm sate & klathak. I must say the klathak tasted great with the soup! Soup is definitely tasty. The normal sate also taste great with charred bits. I was really surprised that the sate is free of goat smell. A little pricy but otherwise it’s a great place to come for sate!

Jiwajawi Jogja is a traditional restaurant located in Bantul, Yogyakarta, known for its classic and authentic dining experience. The restaurant's design reflects traditional Javanese architecture, offering a memorable dining atmosphere.
Great place to zone out! I love the spices they add to the coffee, it gives a unique kick. The seating area is perfect for enjoying the breeze, and the surrounding forest feels lush and calming.

Jiwajawi Jogja offers a unique dining experience with a blend of traditional ambiance and modern touches. The setting feels warm and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal while appreciating the cultural elements that surround you. The decor is thoughtfully arranged, creating a relaxing atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. When it comes to the food, Jiwajawi presents a selection of dishes that highlight local flavors. The taste is enjoyable, though it may not be extraordinary. However, the quality of ingredients and the way the meals are served make up for it. The pricing is reasonable for the experience offered, making it a good choice for those who want to enjoy a nice meal in a well-designed space. Service is another plus at Jiwajawi, with staff members being attentive and friendly. They are helpful in recommending dishes and ensuring that customers have a pleasant visit. Overall, while the food might not be the most remarkable aspect, the ambiance and service make Jiwajawi Jogja a worthy spot to visit.
Fadhil A — Google review
A bit difficult to locate. The road was somewhat narrow and we had to cross some local villages. Truly a unique place and concept— one of a kind. Apart from the culture-rich, exhilarating ambience the food was also a topic to talk about. I ordered the tuna options (woku and sour soup), mushroom satay, kecombrang chicken, and beef ribs asam-asam. Their cookings were rich in herbs, not to mention the plenty of condiments added. The sour-refreshing beverage (Sadewa) is a must try to balance the richness of the foods. Came here around 1PM, it was bustling.
Caroline J — Google review
Most recommendation place by tiktok and instagram. But honestly so so Came here in December and the flower was fall down. So i fail to take photos with the flower. The place is very antique and tranquil. I love the ambience. Because the concept is open restaurant so there are no separate room between smoking room and non smoking. Sadly, i could smell cigarette everywhere. The food itself is so so, must wait long for the food ready. The tahu cabe garam is so hard The sweet ice tea is very lack of ice cube The only food i like is their tempe mendoan and somay Also they have toilet but it's so dirty Please be aware, you have lot of staff But your staff seems to be grouping around and chit chatting in the back kitchen
Naadiyah — Google review

Wendi C — Google review
An extremely hidden gem with good price point and excellent nature experience. The route to this place felt sus, but the atmosphere here is perfect for a short getaway. I had Sate Ayam Kuah, Salad Ulam Raja, and Wibisana. Food here is not too bad, served fresh and Sate Ayam was quite huge. There’s a bit of sambal underneath the satay and it has a strong kick. Portion wise, it’s just right for me and Salad Ulam Raja is probably good for 2 pax. The salad is actually a pickle-based salad, but the acidity level is done just right and pair so well with my main dish. The mushroom is also fried properly, retaining its crispiness despite plated over the pickled salad. Drinks here are also not over priced and not too stingy. The place itself is not hot, with its nature setting it can be a bit humid but overall it’s quite calming. You get to explore a bit of its woods area at the back and there are some seats in nature view area as well.

This spot offers a holistic experience where you can immerse yourself in a natural vibe, surrounded by a beautifully traditional-ethnic ambiance. The dishes are a delightful traditional dish, beautifully presented with a modern palette touch while staying true to its roots, all served with impeccable taste.

this place is a large arena-style restaurant with additional Rumah Joglo and art displays. i had good service, though there's room for improvement. our food order was great and delicious. however, i found it a bit difficult to access, especially at night. The parking area was good. there seems to be a blend of too many concepts into one space. I would recommend focusing on building a Javanese restaurant with a high-end menu.

Really like the Green Chicken (ayam ijo) menu.. for spicy food lovers, ayam sambel korek is recommended. There are many food choices as well as drinks. Waiting time can be a bit long at lunch time. Price is inexpensive with great taste. Staffs are polite, friendly, and helpful. They are also smart, can suggest you the menu that won’t make you waiting too long for example. Mosque and toilet is available. Parking is easy. If you are in Bantul and don’t know where or what to eat, just come here.

A good place for dinner or lunch in the center of Bantul. The place is clean enough. The waiters are friendly and well-groomed. Yet, if you come here a little bit late, you will only find few options of the menu and you have to wait for longer time.

I visited Warung Enaak for lunch with my family and we were very impressed by the food and service. The restaurant is located in a convenient spot in Bantul, near the Pramuka street. The place is cozy and clean, with a friendly staff and a fast service. We ordered a variety of dishes, such as fried duck, beef steak, fried rice, soup, and chili fish. All of them were delicious, fresh, and well-seasoned. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. We also enjoyed the complimentary snacks and drinks that they offered. We had a great time at Warung Enaak and we would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves Indonesian food. It is one of the best restaurants in Bantul and it deserves more recognition. I had been here several times , but this time a bit disappointed. We order our food as usual , when the food come its look likes they reduce the portion of chicken and noodle . Even the taste it is same . This place was renovated but the number of seating is reduce so if you don't have seat during the rush hours they are advise to take away your food , as i see print out about that information which attached in the wall . I prefer to have seating outside because more fresh than inside which so hot .

Breakfast restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Bantul, Warung Soto Babat Bu Mulyono is a beloved dining spot that has captured the hearts of locals for years. This charming eatery specializes in soto, a traditional Indonesian soup known for its rich flavors and hearty ingredients. The menu features two standout options: "Soto daging," which boasts tender beef chunks simmered in a flavorful broth made from beef internal organs, and "Soto babat," showcasing an array of delicious organ meats.
One of legendary soto in Bantul area. It’s used to be my family favorite spot to enjoy soto. We usually came here after church. After a very long time - last visit was around 10 years ago - we went here again. The taste is still the same. The broth is still very dense and tasty with many beef chunks on the bowl. Portion is quite heavy for a breakfast, so I usually have less rice. There are sides to accompany your bowl. Sate telur puyuh, sate usus, gorengan tahu tempe, tahu bacem, and krupuk. Add the chili sauce and adjust with soy ketchup if you like, to find the best soto broth in your bowl. The price is still affordable, for one portion it costs 12k. So come before it is sold out, breakfast is the best time (7-10 am).
Agustine D — Google review
Local taste. Fresh soto. Better mix with chili. Reasonable price. Not enough if you just try 1 bowl. 2 better for my experience 😁
Roni R — Google review

For whom who don't know soto, soto is a kind of spicy Indonesian style of soup. The ingredient and spices are vary depending on the region. There are two kinds of Soto that served here. First, "Soto daging". The main ingredients are chunks of beef with rice in beef internal organs broth. Second, "Soto babat". It consists of some beef internal organs in the same broth. It sounds gross but the taste is incredible. You have to try it. If you are a Moslem, you don't need to worry, it is considered Halal.

I enjoy coming here to grab a simple dinner of Mangut Lele (Smoked Catfish) and the various vegetable dishes they have to offer, then having a coffee or tea with some warm and freshly fried Pisang Goreng. Service here is very quick and professional, the waiters, waitresses and cashiers are very attentive and responsive. Delicious food, great ambience, highly recommended!

For Jakartans, to go to Kampoeng Mataraman is like to escape from a harsh routine. The amazingly spacious place, with a little creek and the park dominated with green grass. I was amazed with the bright blue sky with white clouds since I can't remember when was the last time I witnessed such a simple scenery. The food is humble (typical of food cooked in your own kitchen), but really tasty. Pick anything and you won't pick wrong. Goes the same with the beverages selection.

The place is unique and easy to find. It's another self service buffet style place. You pay for what you put on your plate. Get the food first and take em to the cashier. The cashier will offer you the beverages, side dishes, and sum the price you have to pay. The food feels like home. They also have wide variety of traditional beverages. Don't be afraid to ask the cashier if you don't know what food/beverage to eat. They will give you description and recommend the food and beverage. Oh ya, this place is cheap and comfy. You can see the price from my photo.

I visited here a few months ago. There was great event (Festival Kebudayaan Yogyakarta 2019). Javanese style restaurant that has many kinds of traditional food n drink.

Place: 4.5 stars, good place, good ambience, calm. Unfortunately there is no child amusement, such as swing or slide for kids. Food: 2.5 stars, we've order coffe, ginger, fried rice, mendoan, soup, fried chicken, and crispy egg. Unfortunately, all have been below standard (compared to another coffee shop or cafe or restaurant in Jogja). Do not expect to enjoy good food here. Hopefully the food will be better in the future. Looking forward for it.

This is the best place for having dinner! Various of Javanese food and drink are here. The price is so reasonable. The atmosphere of this shop is surrounded with nature.

Buffet restaurant
Nestled amidst lush rice fields, Waroeng Omah Sawah offers a delightful escape into the heart of Javanese cuisine. As you approach this charming buffet restaurant, you're greeted by stunning views of sprawling paddy fields that set the perfect backdrop for your dining experience. The rustic wooden architecture and cozy interior create an inviting atmosphere where guests can savor traditional snacks, hearty soups, and authentic meals alongside refreshing coffee and tea.
Local food in Sleman. Nice place in Joo designed house. Recommended ❤️

Nice place with a nice atmosphere. Spacious place and spacious parking area, good facilities. Serves Javanese traditional cuisine. Provides hall for meeting and wedding events.
Nolianto A — Google review
Great semi outdoor restaurant serving simple, authentic and traditional Javanese cuisine, including my personal favorites, Mangut Lele and Mangut Manyung. This restaurant is frequently booked for big events like weddings and corporate outings and workshops, but there is a specific section in the front for casual diners, who also get treated to a view of the surrounding paddy fields. Prices are very affordable and offer great value. Looking forward to eating here again and ending my meal with a couple of their Es Lilins!

Good place to eat and enjoy the traditional dishes with villagers feeling. Price varies, it start 5k to 35k. Buffet available only until 4pm depends on what you take, the process start 15k. The teh poci is really good. The Manyung fish is very delicious. At night menu is limited to mie godog and moe goreng and rica rica

Escape the bustle of Jogja and journey south to Bantul, where amidst verdant rice fields lies Waroeng Omah Sawa. This delightful restaurant is more than just a place to eat, it's an experience for the senses. Forget fancy menus, here the star is Kaki Lima, Indonesia's beloved street food. Choose from an array of vibrant dishes, each boasting fresh, local ingredients and bursting with traditional flavors. But if your heart desires something beyond the buffet, venture into the kitchen and speak directly to the friendly staff. They have some extra healthy dishes to offer. Seating is under the shade of a traditional Joglo pavilion, providing a cool respite from the sun creating a truly Javanese ambience. The flavors were warm, comforting, and unmistakably Javanese, leaving me wanting more. It's not just a restaurant, it's a portal to a simpler, more vibrant way of life. Gio here if you are seeking for specific dishes that stand out. The price range and value for money is good. Some unique features offer the restaurant that extra traditional Javanese vibe. Parking is easy in the front.

Abundant of great local food variety with delicious taste and very reasonable prices owned by local. The place in the middle of compound that surrounded by rice field that will make you feel sleepy due to the breeze. Service is good and fast. Expatriate is welcome to this place to enjoy the real authentic Javanese Food and experience to the Java traditional a simple dinning experience with very friendly price. The only suggestion to the owner / management is to keep the food safety and hygiene by installing anti insect ultra violet light or especially flies catcher around dining and open food areas.

Satay restaurant
Chicken shop
I had lunch at a different Sate Klatak Embah Momo outlet near a gas station. The set up was clean and simple. Instead of the usual dislike for goat satay, I was pleasantly surprised by how good it tasted. The Goat Satay (Klatak & Momo) and Chicken Satay were both tender and delicious. I highly recommend trying their satay.
Best klatay satay in this town Huge parking area and has play ground The klatay satay should try Sweet satay was tasty also

We had lunch not at this place but at another new Embah Momo Satay outlet across a gas station. Good clean simple set ups. A portion of satay only consist of 3 skewers. I usually don't like goat satay. But boy! They taste so good! Their Goat Satay (Klatak & Momo) and the Chicken Satay are tender and delicious. We really recommend for others to try their satay. We definitely will stop by and order their satay again if we have an opportunity to visit or pass by imogiri.

Family restaurant

Catering food and drink supplier
Kopi Prana Pari is a hidden gem nestled amidst picturesque paddy fields, offering a serene dining experience away from the hustle and bustle. While some dishes like the pisang goreng may not meet expectations due to their thick batter, other offerings such as the fried Nila with curry sauce shine with flavor. The mie goreng could benefit from more spices, and there was an unexpected hiccup when a waiter had to run out for instant noodles.
When we came here, there were no other guests. Apparently the food was really tasty, however beverages weren't too recommended. Rice field view was great.
S K — Google review
The surrounding scenery is very nice: the restaurant faces a field. The mie goreng was nothing special, though. And they didn't even have it when I ordered it: the waiter took his motorbike and went to buy the instant noodles. I don't understand how a restaurant may not have something so basic. And staff be sitting idle, not bothering to buy, so as to be ready when a customer orders.
Anton K — Google review
Didn't enjoy the pisang goreng as the batter's just too thick and my friend was disappointed that it didn't include chocolate sprinkles and cheese like the picture on the menu. When I told the waiter, he said you should have made the order more specific. The mie goreng and mie kuah sea food are okay but could use more spices I think. I loved the dish I ordered, fried Nila with curry sauce. I left some tips for the waiter and he thought that I left the money by mistake. Oh, I also loved their lemon grass tea!!!

great place, although the road is not very wide but it can handle cars. The price is rather expensive for local but still affordable for a lot of people. And the taste is amazing! Everything we ordered are presented in a good way. What we love is nasi goreng sawah, ikan nila bakar ikan goreng.
Dismas L — Google review
Great food at affordable prices. Cozy breezy place in the middle of rice fields.
Supermeind — Google review
Excellent local food, price, service and especially ambience. You won't regret it as it's next to the padi fields that will heighten your culinary experience. The waiter was very nice and quick to take our orders.
Rushdan E — Google review
At the first time we didn't expect there will be a nice place to eat in the middle of paddy rice field and at the edge of a small road. But this place, though is not a big restaurant, has a nice scene and we like how quiet the place is, just perfect for us. The food we ate were fresh cooked, worth the price. Just need more lavatory and abit improvement. But overall, this place is good :).

Good food, great price, great place. Not crowded (at least when we're there). Plus, they have retro bikes collection, love this! Suggestion: need more menu, more coffee option, drink option, dessert.

I must say that I love the place. They sell traditional Javanese noodle and it taste good! Besides the Javanese noodle, they also offer other menu such as rica-rica and traditional drink. The price is very good and affordable. You can pay using cash or debit/credit card. The place is very beautiful and comfortable! They have outdoor seating area and the parking lot is quite huge. The place is not too crowded and it is safe to bring kids. They have enough space to run and play around with no worries.
