Where to eat: the 50 best restaurants in Santorini

We chose this restaurant for my birthday dinner (without mentioning it to the staff) based on the high reviews, and it definitely lived up to them. The location is tucked off a main road, you’ll need to park nearby and walk down an alleyway to reach it. The space offers both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat on the terrace overlooking the water, which had umbrella coverage and heaters, creating a cozy relaxed vibe. We ordered two starters - the dolmades and roasted white aubergine, and two specials - the moussaka and lamb chops. Everything was well prepared and delicious. Our server noted that the lamb was made with chives instead of garlic to avoid a strong flavour. That seemed consistent across the dishes. While I personally prefer more garlic-forward food, I didn’t really miss it since the flavours were still well balanced and executed. That said, a touch more garlic could have elevated the flavours even further in my opinion. At the end of our meal, we were given complimentary cheesecake, and the kitchen thoughtfully prepared a fresh fruit plate for my gluten-free partner, which was much appreciated.

True home-cooked meal with simple and earnest authentic flavor. Dessert, apertif, and small app are included, and the entire meal was excellent value for money. Eggplant was rich and flavorful with creamy notes and al dente texture. Dolmas were warm and perfectly soft and definitely the best I’ve had, ever. Their moussaka (special) and lamb were so good I had no choice but to carry them on my hike the next day and eat them deliciously at the peak. The restaurant happens to be in the middle of nowhere but it is well worth the trip. Remember to make reservations beforehand as it is very popular. On a side note, I’ve heard others say that the fine dining options on the island (e.g., Varoulko, Petra, Athenian House, etc.) are better than Metaxi Mas, but I personally felt that this restaurant could hold its own any day.

I was skeptical at first since the restaurants I been to during this trip all had ratings 4.5+ but ended up very disappointing. BUT I am so glad I tried this restaurant. By far the best meal i had this entire week. Food was amazing. I got the grilled mushroom for starter, pork rack steak and lamb shank. Service was very good. They gave free welcome drinks and free dessert. You also get nice outdoor seatings with chill vibes.

The best meal we had on the island. If you want great food and don’t want to pay absurd prices in one of the main touristy areas, this is your place. The steak and lamb were amazing. Along with the beet salad, octopus, and literally everything else! The free dessert at the end was also delicious

Decided to go last minute on our final day in Santorini. Was seated right away and were given a shot, some bread, and little snacks. We ordered right away and our food came out way faster than expected. For desert they gave us a cheesecake as soon as we finished the mains. And as for the food omg the food was just one of the best from our 2 weeks in greece! 5/5!

This restaurant has it all. Great food, lovely atmosphere, amazing location with sea views, friendly staff and reasonably priced to boot! We visited twice during our week on Santorini and every dish was delicious and well cooked - the T-bone steak was amazing! You start with complimentary bread, raki and nibbles(cheese, olives and a very hard wheat snack). We didn’t try starters as the mains were so filling. Drinks are reasonably priced and the carafe of house wine at 8€ was great value and perfectly fine (other pricier wines available by the bottle). The meal is followed up with complimentary cheesecake which was delicious, although I was not so keen on the goats/sheeps cheese flavour. Overall highly recommended.

My wife found this local eatery after our photo op to the Monastery of Prophet Elias. Small hidden gem. Had no reservations but we arrived early around 6 pm and host welcomed us as dinner starts later here. Had incredible strawberry salad, lamb chops that were cooked and seasoned so well, an amazing steak and a seafood pasta dish that was unbelievably flavorful. Finished off the meal with small cheesecake tasting. Wait staff was very attentive, really thoughtful and checked on us during our meal. If you want an authentic meal with great flavor (and during the days) amazing views, highly recommend. Should we come back to Santorini, this restaurant is on our return eatery list. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

Excellent Food and Service, But Ambience Could Be Improved ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Selene offers a truly impressive culinary experience. The food was exquisite — refined, flavourful, and beautifully plated. Each dish felt thoughtful and rooted in Greek tradition with a modern touch. The service was equally exceptional: professional, friendly, and well-informed. However, the ambience didn’t quite live up to the same level. While the setting was pleasant, it lacked the atmosphere and charm we were hoping for, especially for a fine dining experience in Santorini. Still, the quality of the food and service easily make Selene a strong recommendation for any foodie visiting the island. Just don’t go expecting a dreamy or romantic setting.

We visited Selene during our honeymoon and chose the <Half Moon> course menu (€175 per person, the least expensive option available). The atmosphere was wonderful — elegant, calm, and very romantic — and overall the staff were kind and attentive. The experience started strong with excellent bread and olive oil, which stood out even for us as people living in France. The first amuse-bouche was delicious, while the second was simply spinach — not unpleasant, but not memorable either. The first starter, <From Mani to Santorini with Love>, was truly outstanding — full of flavor, beautifully balanced, and a dish I would gladly order again if offered as a main. In contrast, <Mediterranean Triptych> was far too salty. When I gave this feedback politely, instead of the usual acknowledgment you’d expect in fine dining (“I’ll let the chef know”), our server simply said, “Oh, okay.” and walked away. The response felt surprisingly unprofessional and that left us both surprised. For my main, I had <Primavera — fish with artichoke confit, peas, and spinach>. Unfortunately, the sauce didn’t work for me — it clashed with the fish and made the dish difficult to enjoy, though it may just not have suited my personal taste. Desserts were creative, refreshing, and delicious. However, the mignardises that followed were deep-fried, heavy, and greasy, leaving the meal on a flat note instead of the light finish we had hoped for. With two-course menus, one pre-dinner drink each, and a glass of wine each, the total came to €450. While there were definite high points and we enjoyed the evening overall, the food often leaned toward experimentation without achieving true harmony. For the price, the experience felt unbalanced. It was good to experience once, but not something I would repeat or recommend.

What a phenomenal dining experience! Every dish was a work of art—beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. We had such a beautiful night here celebrating our honeymoon. Our favorite night of our trip to Santorini! The service was amazing and the waiters and sommelier were so kind and punctual. The food was delicious and we felt the care and attention put into every bite! It was so romantic and luxurious and was worth every penny. It was a beautiful, elegant night and we were so glad we went.

The overall experience was incredible. We ordered the half moon with the triumph of the sea, a seafood pasta served with a bisque prepared on the table side. Our server was exceptional, and the food was delicious, even though it was quite expensive. However, the only part of the experience that was a bit disappointing was the yelling coming from the kitchen. The waiters seemed visibly shaken and upset, and it bothered me because I care deeply about culture, even the background details.

My husband and I had dinner here during our honeymoon to Santorini. We had the most amazing time. The staff was so friendly and kind. The service was outstanding. The meal was exquisite! We cannot thank the staff enough for such an unforgettable experience!!!

Our favourite restaurant in Santorini; we came on the recommendation of our hotel when we asked where we could enjoy the best fresh fish and were told this was the place to go - we were not disappointed. The tables have a wonderful view overlooking the busy marina and harbour. The menu is fairly priced and the staff are very efficient and friendly. If you wish to eat the freshest fish, you are invited inside to the chiller drawers where you can chose fresh whole fish and choice cuts. My wife and I chose a whole red snapper one day which was perfectly grilled and on our second visit we enjoyed an Amberjack fish steak which was fantastic. If you don’t want a bottle of wine, the house white wine by the glass or carafe is light refreshing and we liked it a lot. The restaurant opens for lunch at 1.30pm and it’s worth booking a table in advance of your visit.

Delicious dishes, especially the orzo with seafood and spaghetti with shrimp. But the cherry on top was the beautiful view. Perfect first lunch on the island if I may say so myself. The staff was friendly and energetics as well!

Skip the overcrowded tourist traps in Fira and Oia and taxi to this gorgeous spot for a wonderful seafood meal. The view is spectacular and the fish couldn’t be fresher. We enjoyed everything including chatting with Angelos.

On our Santorini holiday we come twice to eat for dinner, both times were awesome. The food is fresh, and they also give you good suggestions on the fresh fish. At sunset the view is incredible, overlooking the port. Great and kind staff

Decided to grab lunch here after visiting the tomato paste museum down the hill. I ate way too much food and didn’t regret a single thing. The cod in the mustard wine sauce was so delicate and delicious. I am still dreaming about the sauce as I write this from New York City weeks later. I also got the Santorini grape tomato and goat cheese salad and bread which was served with tomato paste. Everything was so fresh and delicious and I’ll be serving tomato paste with a touch of olive oil during thanksgiving. What a brilliant combo

Excellent fresh seafood with a great view of the harbour. The restaurant serves a large selection of freshly caught fish and you can choose the fish you want and have it cooked for you. The service was friendly but a bit slow at times. The restaurant is right next to the road so not the most idyllic atmosphere but the view of the harbour is nice. Best place to enjoy fresh fish in Santorini.

Very good seafood restaurant. If you sit outside cross the street, it could be noisy and smelly from cars, but the view is great. Food was absolutely fantastic and service very friendly.

Our last night in Oia and we took a chance finding a place to dine without reservations. By luck we found Floga. Very cozy and romantic spot that served the BEST local dishes on the island! I can confidently say this was the best meal in Greece so far. The service and views are outstanding to boot. Highly recommend!

In Santorini, most restaurants require a reservation, but they welcomed us warmly and even offered us their best table. I’d recommend enjoying some mezes with ouzo. We ordered red meat, which turned out to be quite heavy—next time, I’d definitely go for the fish instead.

CON ARTISTS! Put the most expensive bottle of water on the table and don’t offer the cheaper options. Then talk you out of the house wines by giving you samples of other wines and charging ridiculous prices for a glass without telling you it is 3x the amount of the normal glasses of wine!! Receipt was not provided at time of paying and only given AFTER payment when we noticed the bill being much more expensive than menu prices! €25 for one glass of wine and €5 for a bottle of water is more than one main dish! Disgusting greed!!

This is a small, elegant restaurant with amazing views.The food was delicious and our order was perfectly prepared. The service was excellent—the staff were professional and attentive, making our afternoon smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended for a quality meal in a relaxed atmosphere with great views.

1 800 Floga is an elegant and intimate restaurant that provides a wonderful dining experience for a special evening out in Santorini. The setting of the restaurant is beautiful and the establishment is tastefully designed, with eye-catching table settings. We had the salad with salmon to start and it was very refreshing and flavorful! We also had the stuffed calamari, which was very unique and tasty. For our main, we had both risottos (the pistachio and seafood) to share and were blown away. Incredible flavors and gorgeous presentation. For my seafood risotto, I requested a claw cracker to eat the prawn, which they were happy to give me along with a wet wipe to clean up after. All the dishes were beautifully plated and well-executed. We had the flaming creme brûlée for dessert, which was a fun experience and very tasty. Value for quality is there - while some dishes may not be huge, the portion is a reasonable size and dishes have high-quality ingredients that make it well worth the cost. Phillips provided exceptional service - very personable and helpful. Very knowledgeable to answer all our questions and provided great recommendations.

Wow wow wow! A must visit if you are in Santorini. We were so impressed when we visited that we came back a second time to try other menu items. The first time we didn't book, so we were sat inside which was a lovely location, very small but very pretty. Staff were friendly, we had the tomato keftedes and mushroom pasta. Very high quality and delicious! The second time we booked, and were given an incredible table with views across the sea at sunset - wow We tried the feta balls, shrimp pasta, lamb shank and the dessert of the day. Absolutely amazing. The staff were even more friendly than the day before. The lamb shank is a must! Although for a lunch time visit, it was not ready. Exceptional!

This was some of the best food we had while in Greece (Athens, Milos, Sifnos, and Santorini), and definitely the best meal we had while visiting Santorini. The fava bean dip was unreal. The moussaka and truffle pasta were also quite good!

Father Francisco who does the church service close by recommended this humble little restaurant in town. We had traditional Santorini Greek salad, moussaka, cod and the amazing dessert kataifi. Place gets busy after 8. Make sure you book as only small restaurant Service is quick and very friendly

Had a great dinner here. Octopus and fava bean puree to start, which was delicious. Followed by lamb shank and moussaka, which were both fantastic! Finished with a desert of the day. Highly recommend this for a sunset dinner. A carafe of decent house white wine is only 7.50 euros too! €82 in total for two.

The food is delicious. It's very expensive, but expected given the location. The staff speak English and others. Great ambience, but it the food was so good that it would've been good even if it was closet.

This was a charming, and authentic Restaurant which although lacking the glitz of some of the upmarket and much more expensive options pulled no punches. With its delicious fresh and beautifully presented Rustic Santorinian dishes specific to the island, as well as exceptional Greek fare. It was much more reasonably priced than would be found in either the US, or UK. The restaurants real charm is its fidelity to its Greek roots, the concrete façade steeped in Blue and white perched near the cliff overlooking the old harbour. Unlike the generic glass and chrome you might see elsewhere (and which could be anywhere really). The waiter even gave us a complementary digestif, and was a thoughtful but not overbearing server.

Fantastic family-owned restaurant. We had the Sea Bass and homemade pasta with mushrooms pictured. We also tried the traditional mackerel with lentils and were very pleasantly surprised! Make sure to reserve outdoor seating. Highly recommend.

This place is a must visit for food lovers in Santorini. We had the best time here. If you are interested and also love your wine, then a lovely private tour of the wine making facilities and cellar are available. A very knowledgable and relatable lady called Michelle guided us through, expertly, before seating us for our incredible dinner. We chose to sit in the garden and the ambiance was perfect. It’s a cleverly curated courtyard style space amongst mature olive trees and shrubs with beautiful flowers. The tables were well spaced and it felt intimate without being secluded from the atmosphere. The food… Crikey! I had a take on Moussaka to start. IT WAS THE BEST I’VE TRIED. Jenny had the octopus which was also delicious! For main I ate perfectly braised veal cheeks in a sauce made from their dessert wine - Vinsanto and Jenny had a fab chicken dish (generously portioned) with a cream sauce, asparagus and sautéed potatoes. All memorably delicious. The staff were all brilliant and attentive with great suggestions for wine pairings. Relaxed, professional, sharp service. I HIGHLY recommend. We ended up buying a bottle of the PYRITIS ‘23 (a stunning dry white, in a Chardonnay style) 👌🏼

Exceeded our expectations even though we were expecting the restaurant to be good to start. Reservations were easy to make as an English-speaking tourist though we did have a short wait to receive a confirmation. Once there, the atmosphere has an inviting upscale outdoor feel, staff was friendly and helpful with the menu and suggestions. The food we ordered was all beautiful and insanely delicious. We had the Santorinian tomato fritters, Santorinian fava, Greek salad, Lamb with artichokes, Catch of the day (croaker), Santorinian aubergine “like a moussaka” , and Black Angus Beef Filet paired with a rose (fish) and an orange wine (lamb). Highly recommend all. We were treated to a complimentary gorgeous plate of fruits and a dessert wine to end the night. All around one of our favorite experiences in Greece. Highly recommend!

If you are interested in good food and wine, this is a place for you. We went for weekday lunch and were very impressed by the lovely garden and friendly service. Salad was simple but nice because of the sweetness of the cherry tomatoes.

This is where we had probably the best meal on the island, even though it was beginning of the season and the restaurant was still closed. We called to make a reservation and they told us that only the dishes to pair wine tasting were available, so there was not the full menu. We chose to go and I'm glad we did! The food was amazing, all personnel was super kind and friendly and we had excellent time. I think you should definitely pay a visit if you would like to see what the traditional cuisine of Santorini tastes like. 5 stars, highly recommended!

Wonderful setting, especially outside with a cool breeze, very extensive wine list with their own wine and others as well. Every dish we had looked and tasted amazing! The wait staff were attentive, knowledgeable about the products they were serving and not hovering around too much at all. Probably the best meal , service and setting we have had in our 3 weeks in Greece.

One of the few places I’d ever describe as having a breathtaking view the whole time I was eating. While the sun is out, the Santorini coast is glistening. Sunset is just beautiful. The moonlit sky with the lights on nearby establishments is a memory you will never forget. As for the food, they truly delivered. It’s a very aesthetically pleasing restaurant to say the least.

I had the best dining experience here during my time in Santorini. The cocktails were phenomenal — truly some of the best I’ve ever tried. The tasting menu was a work of art from start to finish. I added the lobster option, which ended up being my favourite part of the meal, while my partner ordered the cod and absolutely loved it. The service, the flavors, and the stunning view all came together for a perfect evening. Overall, a 10/10 experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Santorini.

We have traveled all over the world and seek out stellar dinner experiences. We have eaten as several michelin rated restaurants and this is actually the best restaurant we have ever eaten at (while we understand this is not a Michelin rated spot, it should be!) we did not find the timing between courses to be too long. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our experience.

One of the best fine dining restaurants in Oia, Santorini. Amazing restaurant located on the cliff with stunning views of caldera and Aegean sea. Great place for a couple for romantic dinner. The degustation menu is best option for dinner. The food was delicious. Big selection of local and international wine. The staff were very professional and helpful. Really enjoyed my dinner in this restaurant. I absolutely recommend visiting this place.

Great view and excellent service. The view is just gorgeous. We had the grilled octopus and the zucchini & tomato fritters for our appetizers. Both tasted amazing! The fritters were surprisingly delicious with an amazing sauce. For our main we split a fried chicken burger. It was very delicious and plenty of food for us to share as a lunch. Everything came to us quickly and we enjoyed our experience very much. The outdoor area had plenty of shade so we were able to enjoy the view without getting sun burnt.

Volcaine is one of those places that instantly makes an impression. From the very start, the staff set the tone — incredibly kind, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can feel they are happy to be there, and that energy makes the whole experience warm and welcoming. The food lives up to the setting. The beef stew was tender and deeply flavorful, easily a standout dish. We also had the crispy potatoes, perfectly done, and a charcuterie and cheese plate that surprised us with one of the tastiest tomato jams I’ve ever tried — slightly spicy, beautifully balanced. The local sweet wine from the island was a real treat and paired wonderfully with everything. What makes Volcaine even more special is the view. Perched right above the volcano, it offers one of the most magical panoramas on the island, no matter the time of day. It’s also right near Atlantis Books, which makes it even more worth the stop. If you’re around during the September celebration, this is the place to sit with a drink and take it all in. The bar below the main terrace is also worth a visit — just as charming and atmospheric. Altogether, this is a highly recommendable spot. Thoughtful staff, delicious food, and a view that stays with you. Volcaine just clicks in every way, and I’d happily suggest it to anyone visiting the island.

Three of us enjoyed Mama Mia the movie and dinner at Volkan on the Rocks. Or should I say we enjoyed the beautiful vistas overlooking the caldera of Santorini but the service was well below average. We were squeezed into a tiny table with 3 small chairs and the poor family of 3 next to us were jammed in even tighter. When we tried to appeal to the waiting staff they seem preoccupied and careless. The food and drinks were overpriced for even Santorini... Nonetheless we enjoyed the sunset, views and the movie.

We went to Volkan for the outdoor theater and dinner, and no question , it was our favorite night in Greece yet (and we’ve been here 11 days already). Absolutely brilliant to show the Mama Mia movie overlooking beautiful views and delicious food. In our opinion it is a must do when visiting Santorini! We had bread, a Greek salad, and shrimp pasta, all spectacular. The sauce with the shrimp pasta was out of this world delicious!

Such a fun experience. My mom and I went to watch Mamma Mia at their outdoor theater space and we had a blast. They provide each attendee with personal headset and a lovely appetizer of olives, cucumber/feta/tomato salad, and pita with hummus and whipped cheese. The sodas are pricey but it’s worth the experience!

Stopped here twice during our writing trip, once for a light lunch and again for late afternoon drinks. The views across the caldera were genuinely breathtaking, with warm breezes rolling in as we looked out over the blue-on-blue horizon. It’s the kind of place that quiets your mind and gets the ideas flowing. We went for a couple of traditional dishes, well presented, tasty, and just right for the summer heat. The team were friendly, attentive, and kept things moving without rushing us. Whether you’re here to switch off or find a little inspiration, this place is special. Try to grab a front-row table under the shade — it’s worth it. Would go back in a heartbeat.

When I entered this place, I was greeted by two women who treated me like I was family. They gave me a great seat, some great Recommendations and I couldn’t believe how nice they were. Aussie review. Probably one of the best meals of my life. We had no reservation and were warmly greeted and it was no problem. We had the octopus, Greek salad, chicken souvlaki and the daily special of Moussaka. To top it off when we asked for the bill they said we couldn’t leave yet as they hadn’t given us a piece of delicious Orange Semolina cake to share. Amazing service. Food came out really quickly too. Really worth the price which isn’t too bad compared to other places around.

One of my favorite meals in Greece so far. Great options for pescatarians. We started with the Cretan bread dish (sounds weird but it’s basically a Greek version of a bruschetta on a barely bread) - SO GOOD!!! Then we had the tomato orzo and sea bream and both were extremely flavorful and delicious. The staff was also extremely welcoming and friendly. This is the kind of place you’d want to go back to again!

The owners are so delightful — you can truly feel how much they love being there. They go out of their way to interact with everyone and make you feel completely at home. It’s that warm, personal touch that makes this place extra special. The food? Wow. Highly recommend the meatballs, grilled octopus, and fried calamari — each dish was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Looooved this place! The proof that the best restaurant are not always the ones with the view, especially in Santorini. Delicious food, very nice setting, amazing staff (welcoming and very helpful). I highly recommend the octopus and the pasta, I also had the chicken which was very good, except for the rice which was a little bit undercooked, but otherwise, everything was perfect !!!

Ordered the chicken skewers, potatoes, and meat balls. The chicken was tasty as it was very saucy but not the best in flavor. Calamari was okay and the meatballs were bland. Overall, not the best food, majority of it was bland. Ambiance is nice since there is outdoor seating. Overall, fun to try but not the best in terms of flavor.

I had dinner at Anogi in Santorini, and both the food and service were excellent. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and experience. I recommend this place to anyone visiting the island.

A six-star rating for the tomato with basil sorbet starter, the main lobster which was executed at perfection and the peach dessert which was a great way to finish our dinner. Great selection of wine too. It’s a fine dining, so more expensive than a regular restaurant, but worth it!

Exceptional ❤️ 🌅. This is fine dining at its best. We pushed the boat out and had the full 12 course tasting and wine pairing - worth every euro if you can stretch to it. The service is outstanding, we especially appreciated the sommelier who was extremely knowledgeable and smiley. The sunset view is also outstanding. Once in a lifetime experience and can’t imagine there is a better restaurant on the island.

Wonderful experience. The idea of the restaurant is to provide customers not just food but a journey into it. The staff, the vibes, the location, everything is amazing and built in order to offer the best service. We tried the degustation menu of 7 courses (130), if you are a bit hungry choose the 12 course (180). It is pricey but it deserve every euro they ask for.

I truly enjoyed my Greek grilled squid dinner at this restaurant. The combination of fresh salad, flavorful sauce, and aromatic herbs was just perfect. To complete the meal, the fish soup was absolutely delicious ~ comforting and full of flavor. One of the best seafood dining experiences I’ve had on this journey through Greece.

Came for lunch on a Saturday in early October. We had reservations, though it wasn’t too busy when we arrived. We were seated on the back patio with a nice view of the water. The patio isn’t large and filled up quickly, so a reservation is still worth making. The restaurant is in a quieter part of Oia, down a cute alleyway - it feels tucked away from the crowds, which adds to the atmosphere. We ordered the moussaka, mushroom risotto, and pork belly based on Google recommendations. All were great, but the pork belly was an absolute standout. The moussaka was tasty (4/5), though I’ve had a slightly better version elsewhere in Santorini. The mushroom risotto was rich, well-seasoned, and full of mushrooms - balanced and moreish. The pork belly was excellent - perfectly cooked, tender, with nice crisp exterior. The portion size was just right and could even be seen as generous depending on appetite. We had it augmented to be gluten-free (without the sauce as it contained gluten). I can’t even imagine how much better it would taste with the sauce! I also appreciated the allergen page at the back of the menu - it clearly showed allergens and what could be modified in each dish, which made ordering easier.

A charming hidden gem in Oia! Google Maps didn’t bring us directly here, but the blue signs around the area helped. We loved the fish, pasta, fries, and mushroom bread — all freshly prepared and delicious. The staff spoke limited English but were warm and attentive. Cozy indoor decor with colourful walls and a homely vibe — worth the short hunt to find it!

The food was outstanding. Every dish showcased the vibrant flavors of Greece with a perfect balance of freshness and tradition. The sea bass was tender and smoky, and the seafood pasta was bursting with the taste of the Aegean. Even the simplest items, like the olive oil and bread, were exceptional you could tell everything was prepared with care and passion. Do stop by at Roka when you visit.

Lovely dinner with homey atmosphere, friendly efficiencent service, and most importantly great food. We started with the beef carpaccio and then the sea bream and moussaka. Both were super flavorful! High recommended!

Stopped by for lunch. It is run by a couple - such a cute and charming restaurant. An interesting menu with a little bit of everything. We loved the starter of mushrooms, tomato and shaved Gruyère. As mains we had the Roka Salad and Snapper. Reasonable prices. Slightly off the crowded part of Oia, which is nice!

They are open in November, however the menu is limited for the winter season. We ordered the Beef cheeks and the Skioufihta pasta, everything was delicious, beautifully served, and good price. A reservation is required, the place was full for the dinner.

My husband and I had the Heritage Tasting celebration dinner with champagne at the Athenian House in late May 2025 for our 30th Anniversary. The view was absolutely gorgeous and we got some great sunset photos taken by our waiter. The food was delicious and presentation fantastic. The service however was lacking at times. It was obvious the staff were busy. We were sitting next to other Americans who talked loudly with their neighbors, while we were trying to enjoy a quiet evening, at an expensive restaurant. However, it is understandable why the tables are close together. The view and food are well worth it!

Amazing food and service. It’s our first night of our Santorini Honeymoon and we just enjoyed it so much. The staff and service are outstanding and the flavors are on point. You have to try the desserts which are delicious and very extraordinary. The vibes and music during and after sunset were also impeccable. The owner of the restaurant was around and treated us like royalty. Overall full 5 stars.

I recently visited The Athenian House in Santorini, and while the setting was absolutely stunning, the food left much to be desired. The location and atmosphere are beyond compare — perched above the caldera with an unforgettable sunset view, it’s one of the most breathtaking dining spots on the island. The ambiance is elegant and romantic, perfect for a special evening. The service was exceptional — attentive, polite, and professional. The staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and enjoyed our time. However, the food was disappointing. Despite the beautiful presentation, the flavors were underwhelming and did not live up to the restaurant’s reputation or price point. The portions were small, and for the cost, I expected a far more memorable dining experience. Overall, The Athenian House is worth visiting for the view, atmosphere, and service, but not for the food itself. It’s a place where the scenery outshines the cuisine.

We went to multiple “fine dining” restaurants in Santorini and this was the only one that was truly of that standard. The food is very good (entrees are a bit small though). The service by the majority of staff was top notch, except for the manager (a guy, he was very rude and not friendly). I’ve given it 5 stars but it’s more like 4.5 (at best) Book for sunset, otherwise it gets too quiet and cold. It’s a great view, however, their tables positioned bit odd (one person with their back to the view, rather than sitting next to each other) Cocktails are great, recommend to jubilee. For food, recommend anything with shrimp as they were the better dishes. Desserts were not that good.

Our favorite spot from the entire trip! The beef carpaccio and shrimp appetizer were absolutely amazing. The fish of the day was perfectly cooked—so tender and beautifully seasoned. And the seafood pasta? Hands down the BEST seafood pasta I’ve ever had! We ended the meal with the most incredible baklava—flaky, sweet, and unforgettable. What made everything even better was the outstanding service. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming—they truly made the whole experience extra special.

First night we had dinner at five sense and it’s was phenomenal there so we were excited and had high expectations for this restaurant. Unfortunately it was quite disappointing, the food portions were super tiny and not good and our meal was over 3 hours long- dishes took at least 10-20 mins in between. They’re trying to be a Michelin star restaurant but falling short in every way. Wish we had saved our last meal for the Michelin restaurant next door. Their star or main dish that their known for which is lamb moussaka, the lamb was very dry! Also I didn’t take a picture of the calamari but the size was about my thumbnail - my husband will still hungry after his 8 course tasting which was $180 euros. Overall we would not come back. The view is nice but that’s all they have going for it.

Nice heated outdoor seating in the colder nights of windy Imerovigli. We had the tasting menu full of fun mostly seafood fare. We also well appreciated the complimentary olive oil we received when we left.

Only had drinks as it was quite expensive and we weren't very hungry. The drinks were refreshing, and the atmosphere was great. It is definitely a beautiful and glamorous place. Only 3 stars for service because we didn't see our server much, but I think he knew we were there from a tour and not going to be spending much and we were enjoying the shade immensely.

We booked a cabana at Forty One Beach Club for my birthday and were the very first to arrive. The lady who greeted us was very friendly, but despite noting it was for a special occasion and with so many cabanas available, we were given a lopsided one in the middle rather than closer to the ocean. The service overall was disappointing, we had to wave down staff just to order or get what we needed. For the amount we paid and with the promise of a VIP-style experience, we definitely expected more attentive service. The music was more of a chill beach vibe, which we didn’t mind, but it was so soft you could barely hear it. However, a lovely touch at the end was when one of the waiters noticed it was my birthday and surprised me with a complimentary dessert, such a thoughtful gesture and a big thank you to those three guys who made that moment really special! That said, we still enjoyed a relaxing day in the beautiful Santorini weather, but with some improvements to service and atmosphere, this spot could be incredible.

This place is an absolute gem! The sunbeds are gorgeous, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the drinks and food are delicious. And let’s not forget the prices—Santorini prices, of course! We paid a reasonable 200€ for the second raw that came with two cocktails, a bottle of wine or champagne, water, and a fruit salad. We had no regrets and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting this area for a vacation.

This beach club and restaurant was absolutely stunning. It has a bohemian chic vibe perfect for lounging. Elias and Andreas provided us with superb service and excellent advice on the menu. The food was delicious and the menu very versatile. This was a perfect day at the beach, the mojitos were delicious and the live DJ provided the perfect ambience. Included in our package was 2 beach chairs, umbrella, towels, 2 bottles of water, and 2 cocktails for the day.

Booked a cabana for the day at the beach club. It was well worth it. Service was impeccable. Do the cabana! Included champagne, water, large fruit bowl and sushi. Other chairs looked comfortable, too. Friendly staff and manager. Wish we could have stayed overnight!

Wonderful restaurant on the black sand beach. Great vibe fantastic decor. The service was top notch. The Santorini tomato salad, with locally grown cherry tomatoes was superb. The octopus was perfectly cooked.

Even though the beach bar is actually excellent as an environment. I got so many other things to say about everything else. The breakfast menu is extremely overrated. One yogurt cost €16 and two coffees cost €14 . The eggs also cost 16€. we even sat for lunch which was actually less expensive but also tastefully a disappointment. The service was really polite, but couldn’t be any slower. Disappointing

The beach bar/club was quite nice - not too special or worth visiting if you‘re too far away. It‘s not so cheap, definitely on the more expensive side but quality of food and drinks is just fine. The service was great and it wasn’t crowded at all. You can park your car just next to it - plenty of parking space.

We ate at the restaurant and the food was incredible - some of the best Greek food we had during our trip to Santorini. We were intending to book a cabana and stay for the afternoon but did not end up doing so as it would have been 100 euros (versus the 70 euros shown if you try to book online) and there did not seem to be food/drink service to the cabanas and there were also no towels provided - so luxury beach club prices without the service/amenities you would expect. Would therefore recommend the restaurant for a meal but not the beach area for a beach day.

Relaxing, very nice place, excellent service, the sand is black, different from other beaches, the water is one of the saltiest in the world and due to its volcanoes, its water is very thick and with some pressure. I recommend that you be careful and wear swimming shoes due to its stones, but it is very pleasant !!

Watching the waves on a volcanic black sand beach while sipping a drink. Really nice. But we were not allowed to sit in the boat couch and not allowed to sit in the seats closer to the ocean. Although it was completely empty everywhere. They were really friendly in replacing the drink when they served the wrong thing. The inside part is in a cave in a natural rock, really cool. Expensive.

Hands down, one of the best places to eat we had sea bass 4 ways and every dish was SO top notch being from Florida fresh fish and fusion are a welcomed and exciting style the guys were awesome, get the fire grilled broccoli Love this place would absolutely do a night here if you’re staying here in Fira or close by!

One main course was about 50 euro. A multi course dinner was about 180 euro. 1 kg fish of the day was 130 euro. Food was awesome. Probably best fine dining experience you can get on this island. Price wise, just like every where else on the island, over priced. But we were happy. Staff was a bit too proactive to ask for tip like other places on island.

Food, service and atmosphere were all amazing. Recently traveled to Santorini for a week and did a lot of research on restaurants. We loved Mylos so much, we went there twice for dinner. Drinks were great! The grilled octopus was the best we’ve ever had! The sushi is top tier with innovative combinations and ultimate freshness. The Baklava was equally amazing - I honestly daydream about it sometimes. The staff was so gracious and appreciative when we came back for a second visit during our trip. They were attentive and personable from start to finish. Lastly, the views are incredible. Thank you, Mylos, for two perfect meals.

My partner brought me here for my birthday dinner after hearing that it was in the top 50 restaurants in the world. The food here was phenomenal. Some of the best we have had. Their bread and truffle butter is something we will be thinking about until we return. Their mussel in tomato broth was also so beautiful and delicate. Will return from Australia to visit this restaurant again.

This place is absolutely fantastic. It’s beautiful, picturesque walk to the restaurant which is modern yet inviting and warm. The service is impeccable. Our host made us feel like we had been invited to a dinner party at his home. Better yet that he was throwing one for my cousin’s birthday. The food was OUTSTANDING. I had pork neck and the risotto. There were 4 of us and every meal and appetizer was superb. I loved the Santorini wine that was recommended. Our host took photos of us inside and outside. We got shots of ouzo and these wonderful chocolate truffles before leave. We also got great recommendations for nightlife after. I hope I’m fortunate enough to visit again.

We were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary and chose Lauda to celebrate. The seating looking over the Caldera is incredible! It is hard to describe how special it is. Be prepared to walk down many steps to get to the restaurant level below. The service was impeccable. We had a six or seven course testing menu with wine pairing. They start with an on the house plating before moving on to your courses. (They prepared a gluten free menu for me showing my courses to highlight how they modified dishes that contained gluten. The food is presented looking like works of art. Each bite is a culinary experience.

My husband and I did a tasting menu here for our honeymoon. The view of the ocean was unobstructed from all tables. The knowledge of the staff for the ingredients and process of preparing the food was very impressive. The service was unmatched and made for a great experience. Amazing experience. The owner is very pleasant and makes you feel at home. This corner feels private while having the scenic view, where you are most likely to see people line up to take a picture of the coast. It’s amusing to watch them, but around 2pm or after 5pm there are less people. I recommend this place for a hide away from the crowds and for a good time to have a wine and conversation with the owner or any passerby that is intrigued by your conversation. 10/10 very pleasant and homey! Beautiful atmosphere and vibe. Perfect service and attention. Also, the white bougainvillea that adorns the spot is worth to take a picture of. Very beautiful!

My wife and I loved this place. The food was absolutely beautiful with good sized portions. I had the Rabbit Stifado for main and loved every mouthful. Incredibly flavorsome. The service was perfect - genuine and relaxed. Yes it's a little pricey but with the fantastic views to compliment the fantastic food and service, it's worth it !!

The portions are small, but very well prepared and exceptionally presented. Well worth a visit for the view and experience. If you're very hungry, perhaps consider another location, otherwise the delicacies here are unique in taste and ingredients.

Besides the nice view they have extraordinary good food and service! We just passed by and got luckily a table. The Beef Tartar and the Crispy Watermelon were delicious! Also they have really good special beer! Worth a visit!

Pretty disappointed in this place considering how much everyone we talked to hyped it up. The food was just okay, and we had someone in our party that was allergic to shellfish, so we let the wait staff know. Well, minutes later they brought out a complimentary appetizer with mussels in it... when we notified them of their error, the look on their face was that they didn't know mussels were shellfish. They did bring us another one without shellfish, and our waitress knew the menu well. However, I'd skip this one.

Good alternative for the busy establishments that are right oceanfront; this one still has great views. Small cave feeling, with a medium side terrace. A great choice while in Oia Santorini. Went for light lunch salads. They were simply perfect with great local farm fresh quality ingredients.

Service was good and staff were lovely and friendly. Presentation of food was spectacular looking gorgeous just like Oia. Flavours wasn’t so great judging by the prices. You’ll know what I mean after you go to few other places like Gefsis.

I really do not know where to start other than to say this was the best dining experience we've had on our Greece trip so far. We wanted a dining experience that wasn't geared towards tourists. There were three cruise ships in port and 15,000 tourists flooding the streets...and this place was empty at 2:30 in the afternoon. The food was amazingly authentic, and Elena was just such a wonderful soul. I would eat here every day for the rest of my life if I could!

Coming from Paris, I highly recommend this restaurant for several reasons: First, Helena, our chef and waitress is a person of rare kindness and give us great advice for our menu. Then the food was excellent : we had the grilled octopus, calamari squid and little fishes both grilled with a perfect cooking and super fresh because fished the morning from a local fisherman. The portions was not big but Huge ! We Could barely finished. And finally it is a true quiet voyage to Greece with the little traditional music ! This restaurant is a real gem. We found it by chance & decided to give it a try. We ended up coming here twice. The food & service are both excellent. The boss, Dimitri is jolly & full of vigour, always has a tale or a recommendation to tell. All the dishes we had were well & thoughtfully prepared, & they were all delicious! I also learned something new from Dimitri... Baklava always taste better when warmed. & his version is a real treat!

A Must-Visit in Santorini. Incredible Greek Flavors at Nikolas Taverna! Nikolas Taverna was highly recommended by our Airbnb host, who promised it would be the best Greek food in Santorini, and she was absolutely right! We loved it so much that we visited twice during our stay. From the very first bite, we were blown away by the authentic flavors and the quality of the food. Everything tasted homemade, fresh, and full of heart. My personal favorite was the lamb kleftiko, so tender and flavorful that I couldn’t resist ordering it again on our second visit! For starters, you must try the mixed dips. They were out of this world bursting with flavor and perfect with the warm bread. As a family, we also sampled a variety of dishes, including the moussaka, keftedes with rice, Greek salad, chicken prepared in the same style as the lamb, stuffed peppers, and even spaghetti bolognese. Every dish was delicious and prepared with care. The chef came out for a meet and greet as well as a photo. She is incredible! Nikolas Taverna truly captures the essence of Greek hospitality and cuisine. If you're visiting Santorini, this is one spot you don't want to miss!

A homely gem in a sea of swanky bars and restaurants. Nikolas give you delicious and authentic Greek food at a very reasonable price. The portion is huge!

We went there for our post wedding brunch. Incredible place with a huge vue on the Cliff and the beach. The manager was a little stressed but really really nice : she wanted to do the best for us. The good and beverage were pretty good. The only kind remark that we could do was that we have booked to privatize two big tents on the beach. And there were people inside. Whereas it's a big price to book them. So the manager ask someone to tell to the guys to go, but it's not our part, I think, to make it notice for such an important day as it was for us, and also for such an important budget as it was. By the way, thank you very much for everything and hope to coming back one day. Wish you the best ! ✨

Oh I miss this place! Far away from the hustle and bustle of everything! The place was Paradise. I enjoyed the lunch, the drinks, the relaxation, and the beach! I would love to come here again! I only stayed for half a day, but I wished I stayed here overnight!

We visited this beach and restaurant as part of a tour. The sandy beach is great but bring water shoes. The water is very rocky. The water is also very beautiful and clear. The service at the restaurant was impeccable and food soooooo delicious. We had a great time

My wife and I came for a 3 course dinner reservation at 830 on 1 Sep. We would definitely recommend it. Please order the fish soup, I could eat that everyday. Everything was amazing. The woman that greeted us down in the tunnels was very nice and my wife loved her hair adornments. Sorry we did not get your name. Christos was our waiter and he was very professional but also charming and funny and gave great recommendations.

Like an art gallery served to you one delicacy at a time. A wonderfully prepared experience. We enjoyed the tasting menu with around 8 courses. A lovely variety of flavors that paired nicely together overall. The presentation was fabulous and appealing, making every bit of food a story. The flavors were just as memorable as the looks. I'm not sure how often the menu changes, but worth the price (€175/ per) in my opinion. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I never had an empty glass of water and they described every piece in detail. Truly a great time. We went at night so we couldn't enjoy the beauty of Santorini but being cliffside with almost no light pollution is a little surreal on its own.

We had an amazing evening at Pelekanos. Besides the great sunset view, The food was exceptional including the Baklava desert. The atmosphere was great and we met a great staff eager to serve especially Zoe. Strong recommendation!

The whole experience was incredible from start to finish! The panorama balcony had remarkable views of the caldera that only seemed to get better throughout the evening. The food was presented in amazing fashion and the flavors were so unique and authentic to Santorini. Our personal favorite was the fish soup! Our waiter George was very attentive and explained every dish to perfection. We felt the wine pairing was certainly worth it as every glass was just the right complement to each course. The whole experience was even greater than expected and it was a perfect romantic evening. We could not recommend this experience any more!

Best meal of the trip was in this hotel restaurant. A wonderful breeze alit our caldera-side table the entire night. High class dining that didn’t feel pretentious or overdone, where each course was skillfully cognizant of its place in the meal. The staff was thoughtful and present but not obtrusive and our glasses were covertly well-watered throughout the meal. No spoilers for this wonderful experience, you’ll just have to go yourself!

Varoulko at Grace Hotel in Santorini is an exceptional restaurant with amazing views of the Aegean Sea, Skaros Rock, the caldera, and sunset situated in the center of Imerovigli. My husband and I had the Aegean Sea tasting menu for dinner there in late May 2025 while staying at Grace Hotel. The service, view, ambiance, and food were all amazing and a wonderful addition to our Santorini vacation.

Absolutely brilliant- we booked drinks at the bar for 7pm followed by dinner at 8pm. My wife and I started off with cocktails in the bar area- a white Paloma and a Santorini - lovely; clear crisp flavours enjoyed with unrivalled views. We then indulged in a another round, this time the knowledgeable bartender led me to a different choice, the Pearl Fisher- a man of his craft, I was not let down! Think of the most delicate negroni in with cherry blossom to if you can imagine, all fresh local ingredients. The drinks and super chill house music went on and so did our experience, being welcomed to the restaurant for our 8pm mean. The service, impeccable, everything aspect was accounted for as you would expect in a Michelin started fine dining restaurant. The staff were always on point, choreographed and ready to match your formality or friendliness. My wife and I had decided to live the full experience- “The Lava menu” - the comprehensive 10 course taster menu bringing you through a sumptuous culinary experience as imagined by the chef. Valentino, Alex and George were phenomenal waiting staff, humorous and always ready to help. The food was exact, innovative and well thought out- especially the red shrimp with caviar and cucumber crab. We drank two very fine bottles of White Santorini wine throughout the meal and were spoiled as a pinnacle to the ending with the most amazing desserts and petite four. This was not cheap, but experiences that will last in your mind for a life time usually never are. If you are going to splash out on one experience in Santorini - let this be, I promise you it will stay with you for the rest of your life.- Alex Duffy

What a FANTASTIC experience from start to finish. We attended with a group of 7 to celebrate our wedding anniversary and just had the most wonderful time. The food is to die for, the drinks were great. We haven’t had seafood quite like that before. The servers were all so kind and friendly. They were also flexible, having us sit outside for an hour to watch the sunset before going inside to hide from the wind (we were here in May, so it was a bit cold). When we sat outside, the staff brought us blankets and heaters. They were awesome. Can’t recommend enough for a special occasion meal!!!!

Excellent amazing experience. The food, staff, and location 5/5. If you do the tasting menu be sure to ask your server how long it will take. Our tasting took around 3 hours. My boyfriend mentioned to George D. and Nektarious that it was my birthday and they made sure a special dessert was made for me! Both were really attentive and knowledgeable to our meal and made the experience even more unique and unforgettable.

A great choice for any special occasion. Both food and service are at a very high level. This is fine dining in a very unique setting, where you can enjoy excellent food with an amazing view from your table. I recommend coming early, around 30–60 mins before sunset if possible, to fully enjoy the golden hour. The dishes varied from very good to excellent. My favorite from the tasting menu was Spring in Santorini, a local twist on gazpacho. Prices are high, but quite as expected for this type of establishment. Be prepared to pay from 200 euro per person if you go along with the staff's recommendations. There were three other tables occupied when we were there on a Wednesday night in mid-September, so very relaxed and peaceful with just the right level of attention from the staff. Recommended!

I have been lucky to enough to dine at some of the best restaurants in the world. But this place is special, not only is the food spectacular but the service is superb. Omar went above and beyond to make this a dining experience that we will never forget. I can’t wait to come back to Santorini just to come back to this restaurant.

The staff at Chroma is the epitome of customer service. They were the appropriate amount of attentive without disturbing our romantic evening. The food was a 3/4 out of 5. The starters were fine and the main entrees (sea bass and lamb) were decent. The accoutrements tasted better than the centerpiece, which was a missed culinary opportunity. However, the wine was excellent, the service superb, and the view is the stuff Instagram dreams are made of.

We had dinner here for my wife's birthday and it was just absolutely the best restaurant out of all other places we tried in Santorini. People talk about the view in Oia but this had by far the best view we've seen while out here. We were lucky enough to also be the only ones so I was able to tell my wife I got her a private dinner ;) Besides the view, our waiter/sommelier was exceptional. He recommended us the best wine we had on the trip and his overall service was top notch. The food was also great. Just enough to make you satisfied but not stuffed. Overall, I couldn't have asked more to give my wife such a special birthday dinner.

It's difficult to put into words how special this evening was - and we left feeling like if Michelin visited Santorini they would immediately award Elements with 2 stars. The service was phenomenal and each dish was delivered beautifully on the plate. The surroundings and views were sublime and the atmosphere felt relaxed yet sophisticated and unpretentious. You can’t serve a corned beef to memorize the 2nd world War in a high-quality fine-dining tasting menu for dinner. It was a total disappointment for us. The best thing we ate was a pretzel with butter. You can try the chef’s fantasies. Otherwise, I will not try again. The view and the atmosphere is excellent.

Beautiful place, with wonderfully balanced flavors — every dish combines acidity and richness in perfect harmony, and everything on the menu truly makes sense. But above all, it was the restaurant’s staff, whom we thank from the bottom of our hearts, that made our experience truly special.

This place was absolutely fantastic! We started with drinks on their beautiful pool patio that had incredible views of the water and sunset. We then sat down for our dinner and opted for the Tasting Menu (this is definitely the way to go). We were met with excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable servers, and 10+ courses of some of the best food we’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting. If you go to one restaurant in Santorini, let it be this one.

We had a very unique experience on our first day on Santorini. The Argo restaurants view, atmosphere and daring journey like entrance is a wonderful intro to a friendly staff which was very accommodating, providing suggestions and truly fresh, authentic cuisine representative of Greek classics with modern twists. We had great fun and were even treated to a surprise dish in the end. Heartily recommended !!!

Excellent experience! We aimed this restaurant for seafood and it’s truly fantastic. Fish is in large quantity and tastes just amazing, spaghetti is also a great choice. The desert at the end is very tasty as well. Staffs are kind towards children with great English skills, no communication issues at all. *Tables with nice views are very limited, reservations are recommended. We would love to visit again!

The view from this restaurant towards the plain and the distant sea is exceptional. The air is well controlled by the natural wind, making it not too hot even when dining at noon. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with many small trees, fish tanks, a swimming pool, and more. The food here is very delicious. Giaprakia (a traditional Greek recipe with minced meat, rice, and mint, wrapped in cabbage and served with French fries and yogurt sauce) as well as stuffed calamari (with feta cheese, sundried tomatoes, onions, and peppers) are excellent. The waiters are nice and very friendly.

The restaurant was a very amazing experience. As you can see in the photos, you walk into a blue stone looking building, and are greeted with beautiful gardens, greenhouses, real ducks / chickens, man-made waterfalls, ponds and other amazing decorations. From the start of the restaurant to where you dine in, it takes about 30 seconds to walk through all these amazing decorations. I’m not complaining! You are then greeted by what feels like every waiter in the restaurant, which was a very pleasant greeting and are shown to your table of choice. I chose the scenic view which was spectacular. The menu was very modern and easy to read. I opted for the Shrimp Saganaki as a starter, which had a very sweet taste, and I really enjoyed this. For the main course, I had Salmon, however, it was slightly above average. It felt a bit overcooked & too grilled. I prefer it a little on the raw side in the middle and they probably should’ve asked how I wanted it cooked. I honestly have made better Salmon at home. To finish on a high, they were playing really good deep house music.👌🏻 Overall, it was a really great experience, except the main meal, which should be the heart of the dinner.

A brilliant restaurant. I’ll try to categorize my review. The restaurant is by a cliff so you have excellent views. Some seats might not have the excellent view but you could always see the sea. The service was great, waiters and waitresses are very professional and they treated us in a very friendly manner. The food was great. Very tasty, great portions and the quality of everything is top notch. We ordered a glass of white wine for 4.5 euro and they brought a glass of I think around 250 ml of white wine. Great stuff. I have to say a must try restaurant. I would give this restaurant a plus as well making it a 5⭐️➕

Excellent restaurant. When you first arrive, the host will give you a tour of the property with a cave cava, horticulture, free roaming pets and more. The service is top notch, really attentive staff, patient and cordial. Great atmosphere and views away from the crowded towns. Food is great, complex flavors served in simple plating. Prices are excellent for the service and the quality of the food! Definitely worth the drive and a must when visiting Santorini!

We ate dinner here during a cruise stop for my moms birthday dinner and it blew us away! We are from New York where we have so many amazing food choices but restaurant was like no other. I will definitely be coming back here for dinner the next time I stop in Santorini. Would highly recommend!

Petros and Letsas were amazing, friendly, helpful. Food is 10/10. Steamed mussels, fried calamari and Taramas would recommend. Didn’t save room for the Sea Bass but will come back and try. Patio seating on the water is beautiful. Would be great place to watch sunset.

What an amazing dinning experience: espectacular view, very attentive staff and best of all, fresh and delicious food. We enjoyed all of our dishes and loved the baklava! Pricy, but the view by the sea and the quality of the food definitely worthy!

Celebrated my birthday here with my fiancé and it’s one I will never forget. Pedros, Dimitris and George made me feel so special on my birthday! We had the fish platter which was absolutely delicious. The setting is gorgeous and the staff are so welcoming. Would definitely come back here and recommend!

Letsas, Petros and Ilias are absolutely wonderful, we had the best experience of dining in Oia Santorini. The food is outstanding - we had sun-dried grilled Octopus which is highly recommended, fried calamari and grilled Seabass from their caught of the day menu. I had a wonderful dinner here with an incredible sunset view. I celebrated my birthday with delicious dishes, and even though I had read many reviews saying it’s overrated, I believe it’s truly an experience. In the end, the location, the view, the attention to detail, and the execution of the dishes make it special. Prices are indeed on the higher side, but it’s part of the unique setting.

My friends and I came here for sunset dinner on our first night in Santorini and we were not disappointed! Everything from the quality of food, the location and the service were beyond our expectations. Our favorite dish was the lobster with linguine but we also got the oysters, steamed mussels, and tuna tartare and everything was delicious. It was a little windy the night that we went but they offered blankets to anyone who wanted them. The food is sensational - one of the best seafood restaurants I’ve been to globally (food wise). Highly recommend the calamari and octopus and the seafood linguine. Unfortunately, the service was very mixed. Some servers were great, others were extremely poor (one literally changed our cutlery unprompted while we were in the middle of a course - still not sure why!). Others were just not responsive and wouldn’t come back.

We hosted our wedding reception for 27 guests at Pelican Kipos in September 2024. Our vision was for the evening to feel like an intimate family dinner and Pelican went far beyond that. It became the true highlight of our wedding and something we will remember for the rest of our lives. We began planning a year in advance with the incredible support of Eleftheria, who managed every detail with care and precision. When we visited the restaurant the day before, we were stunned by its beauty, originality, and charm. Exploring the underground wine caves was an unforgettable surprise that added even more magic to the experience. On the night of our reception, the wonderful sommelier Maria embraced us like family. Having lost my parents a few years ago, I hadn’t realized how much I needed that warmth in this day; she touched not only me, but every one of our guests, all on her day off. Her presence was a gift we’ll never forget. The entire staff went above and beyond, adding thoughtful touches throughout the evening—even making our cake cutting a special moment we’ll always treasure. While our ceremony took place at Rocabella (with photography by Phosart), we chose to hold our reception at Pelican Kipos, and it was the best decision we could have made. Rocabella felt formal and rigid, while Pelican Kipos was alive with warmth, beauty, and soul. Meeting the restaurant owner and hearing the story of the garden’s creation was the perfect finishing touch. Pelican Kipos is a true paradise, and we cannot recommend it highly enough for an intimate and unforgettable celebration. We’re already dreaming of the day we return.

Outstanding service, amazing environment and excellent food! Also, very reasonable prices. The location might seem a bit off, but despite the absence of an ocean view, Pelican Kipos really surprised us in every way possible. Service was impeccable from beginning to end, and the attention to detail by the staff was incredible. From immediately fixing our wobbly table the moment we sat down to quickly taking our order and coming back to make sure everything was fine. It was noticeable the staff is well trained to provide a great experience. We ordered from the breakfast menu and the food was delicious. Fresh, tasty and a good sized portion. Lastly, the environment is very calm and relaxing, as the tables are distributed unders some trees and there are a lot of plants everywhere, offering plenty of shade and fresh air. There was even a bit of live music when we visited, with a musician playing the keyboard. Highly recommend Pelican Kipos. If you're in Santorini, make it a point to stop here and you won't be disappointed.

The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. However, despite being seated indoors, there was quite a bit of dust or fine particles on the table — possibly due to the strong wind that day. It would be great if this could be improved for a more comfortable dining experience. Otherwise, everything else was enjoyable.

While exploring Santorini with my wife, ( actually trying to get away from the Tourists, people like us ) we found this amazing looking restaurant, Pelican Kipos. The look of the restaurant from the outside alone is enough to draw you in. Absolutely stunning curb appeal. We were kind of done with the sun and although the outside patio is stunning, we asked to be seated inside which was perfect for us. The interior is just as stunning !! We just wanted a light lunch and of course a glass of wine. My wife had the Greek salad and I ordered the fruit salad with honey and a glass of wine. I can’t say enough about the Greek honey, simply amazing. The flavour just pops. All the staff was so friendly and accommodating to a couple of weary travellers. And the food and the wine was perfect. Just when we thought we were done, they brought us a complementary desert, 2 perfectly sized Greek yogurts with honey and to say they were amazing would be an understatement!! We were treated to a wonderful wine cellar tour with Maria, who was so knowledgeable and passionate about Santorini wines. A true highlight of our trip and a must-visit when in Fira!

The place is beautiful, cozy and with perfect ambiance. Food were served fast and not to mean delicious and satisfying. Staff were courteous and fast. All in all this place is highly recommended in Fira.

This is one of the most beautiful restaurants I've been too. Service is excellent. Very kind and humorous. The drinks were phenomenal. I was a little disappointed in the main entrees. The steak I ordered was a little bland. The shrimp tempora made up for it, though. Sat in the rooftop balcony and watched the sunset over the mountains. Gorgeous views. Would definitely recommend trying this restaurant!

We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Mama’s! The service was excellent—our wait staff, Andreas and Alex, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They were attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. I ordered the Greek moussaka, which was rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. My husband had the meatballs with mashed potatoes, and he couldn’t stop raving about how delicious and comforting the dish was. From the warm hospitality to the outstanding food, everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Mama’s to anyone visiting the area!

This place is all about the aesthetics! The food was mediocre at best and there was nothing special about the service. The octopus was delicious. The salmon was bland. The lamb shank didn't even compare to the one had at black sand beach in Santorini. A one and done restaurant.

Mama's was such a delightful stop for lunch. The staff at the front are very helpful and do not pressure you to enter. We were able to get a table on their beautiful rooftop garden - stunning set up and view. Aesthetics and vibes of relaxation. Food was lovely and you definitely get your moneys worth. The service was also fantastic. We had a charming server named Andreas who was very attentive and kind - even let me practice my Greek! I would definitely recommend visiting Mama's if you're in Fira! 😊

The restaurant has a beautiful decor and excellent service. It’s located in the center, making it a good option for a late dinner, but not ideal for watching the sunset. We ordered the Santorini salad, cheese rolls with honey, chicken souvlista, and linguine pasta with shrimp and quinces. The chicken tasted different from other places, with what seemed like tandoori spices. As for the pasta, it was absolutely delicious. I also had their best selling drink (forget what they called it) it was very refreshing.

We had some of the best Greek food here with exceptional service. We ordered the Santorini salad and bread. It was amazing! I am particular about which types of tomatoes I like so I was skeptical, but, it was delicious & a perfect starter. Then, we ordered the pork Kebab meat plate. The meat was perfect. My daughter ordered the seafood pasta dish and we didn’t love it as much. We enjoyed our meal upstairs on the outdoor balcony and it was perfect!

Mama's was recommended to us by our guide when we meandered past it on our tour of Santorini. We remembered the mention and retraced our steps after the guide bid us farewell. It was lunch time and the patio seating was almost empty, so no waiting. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The patio is a magical shaded spot with palms draped in fabric to form a canopy to keep the sun off you while you enjoy the breeze. And then the food! It was recommended that we try tomatokeftedes (tomato fritters) while we were in Greece and they had them on the menu! They are absolutely delicious and might have been my favorite part of the meal! But all the food was spectacular -- we had fava dip, a stellar gyro plate, and grilled octopus. My husband even tried grappa (he was not a fan) while I had a lemoncello (which I heartily enjoyed). If you're in Santorini, definitely put Mama's on the top of your restaurant list.

Beautiful views, great service, delicious food. We really enjoyed our dinner with friends here. We ordered the seafood linguine and shrimp ceviche - both were to die for. On the pricey side but it is Ammoudi Bay in Santorini, so that is expected. Worth the trek up and down the hill. Great vibes!

This place is good for viewing the sunset. The menu has a lot to offer. We were not really hungry so got the calamari and Greek salad. Both were delicious although the calamari did have a harder than usual texture. Not sure if that is the Greece way as we are from Canada. We heard reservations are recommended but we got lucky and got a table without reservations.

If you want a perfect sunset view at a restaurant in Oia Santorini, this place is worth the walk down and up. In terms of quality of the meal, not the greatest we've had but certainly not bad. The service and staff were great. You will definitely have a great experience.

An unforgettable evening by the sea at Sunset Ammoudi by Paraskevas! We dined here while in Oia and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. The setting is magical — right at the edge of the water in Ammoudi Bay, with the most breathtaking view of the sunset dipping into the sea. We ordered the grilled shrimps, Greek salad, and a beautifully cooked red snapper — all incredibly fresh and full of flavor. To end on a sweet note, we had the sphere chocolate brownie paired with coffee — rich, warm, and just perfect. The food, the atmosphere, and that iconic sunset view created a truly special dining experience. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a romantic and memorable seafood dinner in Santorini!

We had the most beautiful lunch at Sunset Ammoudi during our stay in Santorini, and honestly, it felt like something out of a movie. The setting is just magical — right on the edge of the water in Ammoudi Bay! The seafood was incredibly fresh, and everything we ordered was delicious. The grilled octopus was a standout — tender, smoky, and perfectly seasoned. Tuna tartare was my personal favorite 🥰 If you’re looking for a relaxed, authentic seafood lunch with an unforgettable view, I can’t recommend Sunset Ammoudi enough. One of our favorite meals of the trip, hands down.

It gets a bit windy at night, so I recommend bringing an extra layer, but they had blankets for those who forgot to bring an extra cover-up! 10 out of 10!

This was our first and last meal in Santorini, getting down there is a bit of work, it’s well worth it. The seafood tasted like it was caught a few hours ago, the octopus was the highlight the seafood rice is amazing too. We spent around 100 for a meal for two.

My husband and I enjoyed the food and ambiance very much. We loved sitting along the water. We had the octopus, grilled red snapper, lobster linguine and grilled vegetables. Absolutely delicious and so fresh. Service was excellent. Definitely make a reservation in advance.

Dinner at Dmitri’s was the highlight of our stay in Santorini! The view is absolutely stunning - we had a table RIGHT on the water! The service was impeccable. Our waiter Dmitri’s was the best! The food and cocktails were delicious. We had the Greek salad and prawn pasta for an entree - yum! And the orange cake was to die for! We will definitely be going back the next time we are in Greece!

Had a lovely lunch here in a fabulous setting. The owner and staff were extremely friendly but the star of the show was the food. Local fresh seafood that was to die for. The Prawns Sakanaki were amazing, so too the seafood rice. Even the fries and pitta bread were fabulous. Loved this place

Unfortunately a 2 star food experience with a 5 star location. We got the seafood for 2, so I feel like we probably got a good sampling of their food. Mussels tasted like they were basically just cooked in salt water-- no real flavor beyond the lemon we squeezed over. The smallest and least tasty greek salad we had in Greece. The best was the octopus and the grilled fish, but to be honest we had better elsewhere. Normally I don't like to leave poor reviews but this was by far the most we spent on food for our whole trip and unfortunately our most mediocre dinner. The view and the table directly on the water were truly fantastic, and perhaps we caught them on a bad night, but I just wanted to leave a warning. We left pretty disappointed.

Joy and Dimitri are super friendly and cook some amazing seafood! We had the red snapper with a side of linguini and it was perfectly grilled! Absolutely will return!

The location is beautiful and perfect to see the sunset in Oia. The food is delicious and the service is amazing. They make sure you feel welcome and well cared for. You are not just any other tourist - as in other places in Santorini. Well worth the stairs, but I recommend getting a cab instead. 😅

We had an amazing experience at Kokkalo! The smoked pork, pork slices, and baked feta in pie crust were absolutely delicious, and the pita was fresh and tasty. The lava cake was the perfect finish. Honestly, everything we tried was outstanding. Staff were welcoming and attentive, and the food is truly out of this world. A must visit in Santorini!

Don’t leave Santorini without trying to Vegetarian risotto. Hands down one of the most flavorful meals I’ve had. My fiancé doesn’t even like warm tomatoes and ate every bite of the tomato fritters. Very nice staff, great atmosphere and fair prices. Anytime we’re on the island, we will make Kokkalo a priority stop.

We had dinner here and enjoyed it so much we decided to do the afternoon cooking class the following day, and absolutely loved it. The chef was incredible and we all had such a laugh. He was very knowledgeable and the food we made was delicious. We certainly didnt leave hungry!

The restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere. Several prople recommended it to us as a local restaurant serving traditional greek food at a very reasonable price. We decided to try the tomatoe fritters that are a speciality of santorini. Also tried the feta cheese pastry with hungry and berries and the traditional greek coffee. The restaurant didn't disappoint. Haven't tasted a better greek coffee than this. The feta cheese dish is also so unique and the pastry cover provided required crunch to the soft feta filling. Such an appetizing dish. The fritters were also something very unique... the crunch is followed by the taste of very juicy tomatoes so everything balances itself out.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. From the warm and friendly staff to the layout of the bar kitchen and tables and where the restaurant was located. The starterers were amazing and so was the main course and dessert. No visit to Santorini would be complete without dinner at Kokkalo.

A really nice restaurant that is worth the walk from the centre of Fira. T-bone steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare and potatoes were lovely too. As my wife and I were sharing we would have preferred more potatoes. Felt the dish could also have been served with a side salad or at least have been recommended one by the waiter when ordering. Otherwise I would definitely recommend if you fancy some good food away from busy fira town.

We first walked into Karma because we were drawn by the cozy, chic atmosphere of the terrace – it just felt warm and inviting. On our first evening the food was so good that we came back two more nights in a row, each time trying something different. Every dish we tasted was absolutely delicious, fresh and full of flavor. It was one of those places where you really look forward to the next bite. The menu had plenty of choice and everything we ordered was consistently great. The service was another highlight – the staff were genuinely friendly, always smiling and making us feel comfortable, almost like old friends. That kind of attitude really makes a difference when you’re on holiday. For us, Karma was without doubt the best restaurant experience during our stay in Santorini. Great food, lovely people, beautiful setting – we couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommended!

This is such a cute little inviting place. We were peeking from outside and someone quickly greeted us and invited us in. The service was welcoming, and fast. The food did not disappoint! It was quite a rainy evening so I ordered the Youvarlakia soup, it was so delicious. The meatballs were flavorful and the soup wasn’t too thick or too soupy, it was just right. I also ordered the Garides Saganaki and while it was delicious, it only came with 4 small shrimp. Their sun-dried tomatoe bread is a must try! My friends ordered the Lamb and they said it was fantastic!

This place was great! The smell and flavors were lovely, the prices fair, and the service very good. I tried the Greek coffee — not really my thing, but that’s just personal taste. My wife had the freddo cappuccino and loved it. Highly recommend trying the soutzoukakia — it was delicious

We liked it so much, came here twice. There are 2 seating areas, indoor and the garden which was lovely, cosy place. The food was delicious, we enjoyed the meatball soup very much!

Karma was the perfect find in the heart of Oia when we were looking for a restaurant that wasn’t a tourist trap. While it doesn’t have caldera views, what it does have is fantastic food, a relaxed vibe, and genuinely warm service. We sat in a shaded courtyard surrounded by beautiful greenery, which made for a cozy and peaceful dining experience. The Greek salad was fresh and flavorful, and our entrees were cooked perfectly. If you're looking for an authentic, quality meal in Oia without the crowds or markup of view-heavy spots, Karma is it. Highly recommend.

This was a lucky find for us after hiking from Fira to Oia. It looked so cute and the menu looked good. I’m so glad we stopped. The house white wine was great as was my husband’s beer. We had the pita plate with three dips and the tomatokeftedes were excellent. The service was very quick too!

This restaurant has a view of the caldera and it is nice and quiet for the sunset time because most other people go to the other side of the mountain to see the sunset. But for us what attracted us was exactly the life of the caldera at sunset with all the beautiful lights and the view of the boats lining up to see the sunset on the water. The place is small and quaint and the staff is relatively fast to react and friendly. What could work better for them is the honesty part because despite asking them to add a 10% tip they added 15% and I only saw it on my credit card after I had already accepted the payment. I was annoyed with that because they took more despite my indication but .. I won’t go poor from it. Overall food was good but nothing too exceptional. We didn’t find that many options for the vegetarian diet and the mushroom risotto was over peppered but, oh well again. What can you do? Maybe not a good choice again but great for one try.

This restaurant offered both excellent food and stunning views. However, it is smaller than I expected, with only a few tables, which can be seen as both a strength and a limitation. The staff’s service was outstanding, but there was inevitably a sense of being slightly rushed during dinner. I wanted to enjoy the beautiful night view a bit longer, yet seeing people waiting outside made it hard to fully relax.

Ambrosia is a fantastic fine dining experience with some of the most amazing views you’ll find. If you can, grab a spot on the terrace overlooking the caldera. The atmosphere is relaxed and absolutely stunning. The food portions are on the smaller side, as you’d expect with fine dining, but the flavors are outstanding. We started the meal with the sea bream ceviche and Greek salad. For our main entrees, my wife had the beef filet and I had the snapper. Service was incredible from start to finish. My wife and I aren’t big wine drinkers, but for those who are, this would be the perfect place to enjoy a glass from their excellent selection. A truly memorable experience!

This place was recommended to us when we took a drive to Akrotiri. This place did not disappoint. The red snapper was fresh and perfectly grilled. The white eggplant and Santorini salad were really delicious. It was worth a stop after visiting the lighthouse.

Positively lovely views and delicious food! A gorgeous oceanfront dining experience with the freshest seafood from friendly and attentive staff. This was the best restaurant we had in Santorini. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, extremely professional and attentive. There were plenty of jokes and friendly exchanges. Authentic tavern near Akrotiri Archaeological Site, right on the seafront so we had a lovely view. The fish of the day was really good, very fresh, and the white aubergine & garlic dip was amazing! Good value for the quality of food and location.

Note that these comments are based on vegetarian dishes ordered just before their closing time … We were looking for options to eat and this place looked good and had great reviews too so we tried, at 11:15 pm…and they told us they are open so in the end my expectations is that they should serve us as well with the same way like you go earlier in the day Ordered two pasta dishes, pesto pasta and pasta with tomato sauce also added a mocktail from their special menu…. Verdict: - Mocktail: Average, specially for the price of EUR 10 - Tomato sauce pasta: Not good, was not fully cooked, they didn’t use olive oil also felt like it was made with tomato puree instead of fresh tomatoes.. - Pesto pasta: this was better but again didn’t feel like they used olive oil here as well Now either they use some other variety of olive oil or it was late so they just did a make shift arrangement but overall we did not like the experience. Also on telling the server the issues we were just told that they do we use olive oil and the taste of the tomato sauce pasta might be because of sage in it, anyway felt more like excuses and the server was not also willing to entertain any complains… Given that so many have written good reviews maybe other dishes of this place are good and maybe if you go earlier in the evening they might serve better with more fresh stuff but to us this was unfortunately not the experience :-(

Amazing views, my Airbnb was literally connected to that restaurant. I ate there almost everyday. Everything tastes amazing from ice cream 🍦 to Pasta 🍝. The staff are very accommodating, i sat where I wanted. I even ordered to take out. This is a gem and a MUST try.

Great little cafe in Oia. Arrived around 9am and it was very empty. Lots of seating - and upstairs too - all with beautiful views. Ordered the Freddo Espresso and the Freddo Mochaccino and both were delicious. Definitely recommend this spot!

It’s all about the views! I went there for coffee, sandwich, and yogurt; they were all good! The views are unbeatable and the waiters were super friendly. Although my consumption was small I never felt rush to leave.

This is one of the highlights of our trip to Greece and we found it by accident. We turned down a side street to look at a shop and ended up seeing this magical resturaunt. A beautiful and authentic experience with delicious homemade food. The owner is also the server and the chef and was so kind, personable and is very passionate about his parents place and their family recipes. It felt like we were welcomed into their family home for dinner. We had the meatballs, greek salad, fried saganaki, bread with olive oil, pasta, and for dessert we had the lemon cake and the chocolate mousse that is made with only two ingredients. So fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere is peaceful and a quiet escape away from the busy street. When I saw negative reviews on here I actually couldn’t believe it.. If you’re looking for a high end place run by robots in a fancy environment then pick somewhere else.. but if you seek out the beauty of the small authentic moments, off the beaten path, and want a memorable experience, I would highly recommend this magical place! It was truly so special and I will think of it often. 🤍

Ok not sure why only 4.1 but whatever this as good as it gets. Been to Italy for 2 weeks and thought we had seen and eaten it all but apparently not. So came to Santorini and had the best meal yet of the trip. Am going back tomorrow and the day after which is the duration of our trip. We had a great dinner at Candouni- wonderful Greek food and the outdoor terrace is lovely. We tried the lamb and fish for mains and they were delicious, and we also enjoyed the house wine. Recommend!

The atmosphere is stellar, and we greatly enjoyed the food as well. We ended up eating here more than any other place locally, just because we liked it so much. Personally, I did not find the restaurants with the coastal view to have food as good as they have here, and I thought that the atmosphere was much more enjoyable. They never rushed us, there was acoustic live music that was pleasant. Felt like a great local experience and not a tourist trap! Our takeaway was that we got the experience once of eating at one of the restaurants with a view for that specific experience, but that we just wanted to come back for here every other time. I hope they are there for years to come!

A beautiful short walk up some stairs and some picturesque Greek streets to this quaint restaurant. We had a reservation to watch the sunset and enjoy some dinner. My wife had the meatballs which she loved and I enjoyed the meal of the day which was another form of meatball with potatoes and a tomato sauce. Both delicious meals and one of the best spots we have found in Greece to enjoy a sunset. Friendly staff who made sure our honeymoon reservation was the best seat in the house.

The service here was surprisingly quick but we went early around 7pm to catch the full sunset. I loved this spot! The drinks were incredible. The food, although not extensive, was tasty. And you can't beat the view. The sun setting behind hills surrounded by the sea was incredible. And Pyrgos was adorable as well.

Booked a front of terrace table for dinner at 6pm. What a view! Fantastic dinner of pasta, glass of wine and best seats in the house for the daily show of the sunset. Once set, we were offered a blanket as it was a very windy evening. Huge compliments to the chef who made the tomato pasta dish absolutely sing. Husband had dish of the day which was mega! Lovely owners, who brought out the chef so I could compliment in person, and were then very generous in time to explain how a particular drink is made. Hands down, my favourite evening out on our holiday - sunset and fab dinner without the crowds.

Didn’t eat here, but had drinks and enjoyed The most TOP NOTCH sunset in Santorini WITHOUT THE MASSIVE CROWDS!!! We were treated to the most amazing table on the terrace, based on a recommendation by our Greek friends (thank you Mari!) What an atmosphere!!! Overlooking the iconic domed & blue roofs across to the sunset… oh my! Quite a little hike up to the place, but such an experience.

This restaurant is truly Greek, with super friendly and welcoming staff. We felt so comfortable and at home that we even came back a second time during our trip. The atmosphere is warm, authentic, and family-like — you are not just a guest here, you are truly made to feel part of something special. I have never eaten such fresh fish in my life — it was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The starters were absolutely delicious, each one better than the last. The mussels, the risotto, everything we ordered was incredibly tasty — no matter what you choose, it’s guaranteed to be amazing. And to our surprise, we even received a dessert. You just HAVE to visit Galini. A warm welcome awaits, staff are very appreciative of your business. Food is very authentic and portions are generous, best value for money in Santorini. Extensive menu caters for all tastes. The Red Snapper was the best I’ve ever tasted, cooked over a grill. Tasty free desert and after dinner wine. Ate there twice during our trip. Lamb chops are also highly recommended! 🥘

We are staying near Galini tavern, a 3 minute walk along the beach from our hotel. I am so glad we walked to check it out. Service was excellent, everyone was very friendly. The food was exceptional!! Wow!! They even gave us a complimentary dessert, baklava made in house and sweet wine. The baklava was the best I have ever had. We will definitely be back for another meal while on our stay! We got the chicken skewer, shrimp spaghetti, fried zucchini. All of it was delicious. Next time we will be trying the fish of the day 🙌🏼

Trendy but at a cost. We went there for my birthday. The service was very present and professional and the beginning…Once we started to eat, the sommelier who’s the only person serving you wine was very poorly timed for our main course, arrived midway through and blamed it on the other clients…the whole service kind of fell through at the end…Still offers a beautiful view. Was very expensive when comparing to service/food. “Strongly recommend a better timing or additional staff in support of wine service in order to assure a better experience” the restaurant was not busy at the time either.

Came here by recommendation of our hotel, and I have to say we were delighted with the food and the view. We got a table on the roof with a view to the sunset and it was beautiful. All the dishes had a special twist to them, “The Farm” salad was delightful, as was the cod with its soft, subtle flavors. This is a nice place to come with your loved one and spend the night drinking wine, watching the sunset, amd enjoying some gourmet food. Expect to pay easily +€100 for a dinner for two.

Great food and a lovely setting with a fantastic view of the sunset. Cocktails were also delicious. A bit strange that after our main course they gave us the bill straight away, even though we had not asked! We were planning to take a desert and a few extra cocktails downstairs with the live music, but this wasn’t meant to be. Quite surprised!

This was a very big let down. I am not one to write bad reviews, but we were a group of 8 people extremely excited to go visit but had some of the worst service we'd ever experienced. It took forever to have our orders taken and our drink orders were forgotten several times. We had to yell and remind our waiter several times before he finally admitted that he had not put the order in and would need to reorder many of them. Even on the second round, he had forgotten to put in several articles and we had to remind numerous waiters several times to bring out the correct drinks. At the end, our waiter was disrespecting us by rolling his eyes, raising his voice at us, and acting annoyed as if we had done anything wrong. The other waiters were in near disbelief around him as to how he was acting toward us. We had been wanting to pay for more than 30 minutes and were completely ignored and not checked on at all. We spent nearly 3 hours at the restaurant despite there barely being anybody there and wanting to leave. I would recommend to management that you tell your waiters to show kindness to your customers. Had we not been on vacation and trying to enjoy a good time, we would have been much more upset with this type of behavior. Other parties were also visibly annoyed and complaining.

Let's start with the view. Amazing! We sat right on the ledge, with great view to Skaros rock and the sunset. The service was perfect. As for the food, we came with very high expectations, and the food was mostly well made and tasty, but somewhat lacking balance in the tastes. There was one dish with some sort of pasta, which was not cooked enough. We informed the staff and we hope it was a onetime glitch. Overall, very good experience.

Greeted by Panos and Nikos, who then took care of me for the remaining dinner experience. The views were stunning, including being able to see the sunset. The 7 course with some additions I between were full or flavor and beautiful pops of color with a beautiful presentation! The entire dinner was a fabulous experience 😋

Great service for any meals you have here. Great location and nice heat lamps/blankets after the sunset. We were here for a 9 course 140€ set dinner. Highlights include the grilled and smoked octopus, as well as the chocolate/mocha texture dessert. Missing from the pictures is the lobster ravioli we devoured before pictures were taken. Great location for a romantic getaway.

I made a reservation for my husband's birthday. The table was set up pretty simply, and only 4 tables in our area, just quiet, didn't feel the restaurant atmosphere. Pretty dark at night they have only 1 candle and 1 light. We chose 9 course menu because we want to have a front row for 140€/ person, and the drink is not included. The food was good. Steak was amazing. Cod fish was tasteless. I was hoping for dessert they might have some cake or candle for birthday, but it was regular dessert on the menu. Nothing special.! Staff were friendly. However, the service was super slow. We finished a first glass of wine they came and cleaned the glass, but they never asked if we wanted some more. Overall, it was ok, but it's not worth the money you paid for.

Nice little restaurant with a stunning view! Food quality is amazing, service is attentive, wine menu is good, food menu is creative but with a little room fore more creativity in this price range. Two negative points I have to mention which makes it a 4/5 in total: It is not easy to find this place as it is marked on a parking lot in maps and the soup we got as a starter was cold instead of warm, how it should be according to the waiter. Definitely an amazing dinner in a nice place but there are several ones with the same quality in Santorini for lower prices so in my opinion this restaurant has to improve some details.

We came here for dinner and to enjoy the sunset, without a reservation – we just spontaneously found this place. They have an amazing terrace with a great view over Santorini. The waiter was very friendly and professional. The food was fresh and delicious. Just be aware of the cats – they can get a bit aggressive. I definitely recommend this place! 💯

Stopped because it was close to my Airbnb and I wasn’t disappointed. I sat at the outdoor seating which had a lovely view of the island and food was absolutely delicious! Wait staff were kind and attentive. A little pricey but average prices for Santorini. I recommend the grilled squid, it was fantastic! I didn’t go at sunset but I’m sure you would have a great view from the outside seating.

Rosemary made our best meal during our weekend-stay on Santorini. Every single dish was delicious! Here's what we ordered. 1) Food: Not very hungry, I got the meatballs, a side of bread to dip in the meatballs' creamy sauce, and the chocolate pie. The beef meatballs come in a cream sauce that we loved. There's plenty of sauce so get a side of bread to maximize it. The chocolate pie was not a pie at all. It was a large piece of undercooked brownie and so good! My eight-year-old daughter loved the salmon with carrot puree. The actual salmon was perfect cooked with crispy skin underneath. She also loved the chocolate pie with a scoop of chocolate ice cream. My mother-in-law really enjoyed the lambchops. Since they were out of mussels, my wife got the tagliolini pasta and really enjoyed it. 2) Drinks: The adults got their house wine- white, red, and rose. The pours are generous and the taste crisp. 3) Space: It's stunning inside and out. We sat on the rooftop deck with stunning views of the sea. Go at sunset to see a painting of the sky. 4) Service: It was very friendly, but very slow- the slowest service we had on Santorini. We didn't mind it since we weren't in a rush, but it took a long time to get our food and the attention of our server. Overall, we highly recommend Rosemary!

Quite the find. Whilst exploring Pyrgos, I came upon this restaurant. If I wasn't sold by the balcony view overlooking Oia and Fira, I certainly was by the food. Perhaps the greatest Marinated Grilled chicken I've ever tasted. If you find yourself in Pyrgos, get yourself here!

We had an incredible experience on the balcony with an amazing view of the sunset! The dishes were all delicious especially the octopus and the local wine. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. Truly recommended as an alternative to the most famous sunset view in Oia. A bit overpriced but great value for money!

The best restaurant in Pyrgos, if not all of Santorini! The ratatouille style dish was so rich in flavor, the fig and honey dessert was outstanding as well, using mainly locally sourced ingredients. Location wise, you couldn’t ask for a better view! The owner (if I’m not mistaken) was super friendly and really wanted me to enjoy my meal 😄

We ate at this restaurant during our visit to Pyrgos. Even though we had booked for a different time, the staff was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to delay our reservation while keeping the same table with a wonderful view of the town. Everything we ate was excellent, and the staff was kind and friendly. Absolutely recommended if you’re in the area!

I’d read that this was the place to try the best tomatokeftedes (tomato fritters) in Santorini, so I decided my first experience should be here. While I don’t have others to compare to, I do know great food, and it’s easy to believe these are the best. The texture was light and crispy, full of flavor, with a lovely hint of fresh mint. The accompanying tzatziki was also the best I’ve had in my six days in Santorini, creamy and more flavorful than any other I’ve tried. Another highlight was the fries - fresh-cut and perfectly cooked. All the other dishes were delicious as well - the dolmades (the filling was softer than others I’ve had but still very tasty), the eggplant dip (a mousse-style puree with a nice smokiness), and the Greek salad (very fresh). I can’t speak to the main courses, but if you’re visiting Pyrgos and want a meal or filling meze-style snack with picturesque views in a charming indoor-outdoor setting, I highly recommend this spot. The only note - plates are on the pricier side.

We had an incredible experience at Penelope’s Ouzeri. The view was absolutely stunning — truly one of the best spots to take in the island’s charm. Our server was exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He also took time to chat with us about the area’s history and answered all our questions about the nearby landmarks. It felt like we were dining with a local friend. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the warm hospitality!

The food was delicious! We had coffee frappe, the yogurt was mega delicious, the eggs with tomatoes were super yummy, the bread was on point, and the veggies in the omelette were very fresh and extremely well prepared. Valia, who was our waitress, is super nice and helped us with all our questions! We will definitely come back and eat here again!

We ate here on our last night on our honeymoon and it was hands down the best experience in Pyrgos. Johnny was our server and he was very hospitable and every dish we ordered was a 10/10. Snag a table for sunset and you won’t be disappointed!

As you enter the hotel you will see the quality and the beauty that this hotel offers to their guests combined with a warm welcome. Also you will see the gardens that they are growing local ingredients, by putting all that effort to bring to the table such a high level of gastronomy is just admirable and personally I couldn’t recommend just one or two dishes because everything we order form the cocktails to the food was very tasty, balanced and plated so carefully until the last detail. By the end with all those big and small details that made our dinner so beautiful we had with our side Mr.Ioannis that made our night even more special and beautiful. They bring you the wine list before the food menu to catch the tourist. Minimum bottle for wine is 70/75. Then the food is ok as quality but incredibly expensive. The waiter pre selected 35% of tip. Completely a tourist trap. My girlfriend was skeptical because we were the only ones who were in the restaurant. Now we know why. Completely overpriced, to be avoided.

My god. This was an unmatched experience. The sunset view of caldera, with the infinity pool in front of you is arguably one of the best you can have in a restaurant in Santorini. This alone deserves 5 stars. The portions are pretty small (as normal for fine dining) but everything was cooked perfectly. Especially the Lobster and Squid. Service is very attentive and made our dinner perfect. 100% recommend this place for a special occasion - but reserve in advance! Bonus tip: if you live in one of Andronis properties, ask for a free shuttle service (which is a new Tesla btw…!)

The view was incredible and the food was so savory. They were out of a couple of items on the menu but we were able to find something else. The staff was the best, it was a chilly night and allowed us to start outside and gave us blankets. After our drinks and starters we decided to move inside and they were just so great at their recommendations and on how they treated us. Definitely make a reservation and try as much as your stomach can handle. Everything we had was delicious from the bread with an olive oil spread to the baba and ice cream dessert

I’m shocked that this restaurant does not have a Michelin star! The food was unbelievable, the service was impeccable and the location was unbeatable. We had the desgustation menu. Each dish was better than the last. Small dishes with fresh ingredients and explosive flavors. Greek recipes with light foreign touches. The staff was so kind and accommodating. They took our picture, they moved us inside when it got a little too chilly after the sun went down. Lastly, I know the restaurant can’t control Mother Nature, but the night we were there, the sunset was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I can imagine it’s like that every night. I would be so bold as to say it’s the best spot for the sunset on the island. Highly recommend.

Going to Throubi was a surprise birthday dinner with my boyfriend. I must say, this was truly an experience that one needs to have while in Santorini. It was just that, a true EXPERIENCE. Everything was exceptionally consistent throughout from the ambience, to the service and most importantly the food and drinks. First, the location allows for a breathtaking view of the sunset. Our server was gracious enough to offer to take a photo of us together with the sunset in the background. He was gracious, very friendly and always checking on us. The food was absolutely exceptional. From the smoked octopus to the Waygu sirloin and lastly the apple tart. This was truly an unforgettable dining experience. Throubi should be a contender for a Michelin Star rating!

We were only in the area for 4 nights and ate here twice because it was so good. And the service is wonderful. Everyone is very friendly, and knowledgeable. The open air seating is perfection. Highly recommend this restaurant.

A Hidden Gem with Great Views This excellent restaurant is a bit off the beaten track, but it's absolutely worth the effort to find it. The terrace offers breathtaking views over the countryside, making for a truly memorable dining experience. What We Had: Starters - Deep-fried calamari - Basket of white and brown sourdough bread - French Fries/Potatos - Plate of cucumber (specially prepared for our son upon request - not on the menu) Main Courses - Grilled buffalo soutzoukakia from Kerkini (meatballs with cumin and garlic) served with pita bread, tomato sauce, onions, and yogurt dip with garlic - Lamb wrapped in vine leaves with village-style potato purée (probably the best I've ever tasted) Dessert - Greek vermicelli "sandwich" with cream of lemon All paired with a lovely local white wine. The Verdict: The food was fantastic - fresh and incredibly flavorful. The staff's willingness to prepare something special for our son really demonstrated their hospitality. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic cuisine in a beautiful setting.

We absolutely loved this restaurant! Real authentic Greek food! The manager made sure we had an amazing time. And the view from the garden is beautiful! Make sure to try the Moussaka, Calamaris, Sea Bream, Slow-cooked Spareribs and the Greek Salad! We got a free starter and dessert, really nice Greek touch.

Krinaki Tavern is hands down one of the best local spots around! The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly. They even took the time to explain all the authentic Greek dishes, which was such a nice touch. The whole vibe, with the traditional music, made it feel like a real Greek experience. Absolutely incredible food. My husband had this delicious lamb dish, and I went for their shrimp Saganaki Krinaki. For dessert, we shared the Semi Freddo chocolate which was heavenly. Honestly, we couldn’t even pick a favorite because everything was just that good. If you’re staying in the area, you HAVE to check this place out. It’s the kind of spot you’ll be talking about long after your trip!!

Excellent food (especially the melitzanosalata!) and very generous portions. The staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful whenever there may be questions about the menu - they also very kindly offered us blankets as night drew in and the temperature was falling. All in all an excellent tavern which will be one of our first stops should we visit Santorini again.

We’ve visited Krinaki Tavern twice during our stay in Santorini, and it’s easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had — not just on the island, but anywhere. My boyfriend and I are spending the summer working in Santorini, and coming to Krinaki felt like a true escape. After long days of work, finding a place that offers such peace, kindness, and soul-warming food was a gift. It reminded us of why we love Greece so much — the hospitality, the flavors, the people. We had such an incredible experience dining at Fly Away whilst watching the sunset. The service was impeccable from the moment we arrived. The tables were set in such a way that all guests get to experience the perfect view. The food was absolutely delicious and sophisticated, hats off to the Chef, especially for welcoming us with amazing complimentary starters and the finishing touch of a delicious desert with perfect balance 🤤 Excellent champagne cocktails 🫶🏻 Our hosts were friendly and engaging, making our experience even more memorable. I would 100% recommend this restaurant, you will not regret it.

We had an excellent dinner here, the service was very good and attentive. It’s a small restaurant inside the EastWest hotel, reservation is highly recommended. We would return for another meal based on our experience. Every plate delivered a delicious experience, nothing missed, the recommendations were all on point. Smoked eel risotto, lobster, grouper, and apple pie were all very good. With a nice bottle of wine it pushed €360, but we felt the experience was worth it. We came after sunset so we cannot comment on the views, but based on the restaurant’s position on the caldera the view should be superb.

Absolutely amazing! The homemade bread was to die for, never in our lives have we had such fresh, soft and crispy but not hard bread. The burger was so yummy, with Truffle and carmelized onion. Great mango margarita as well! Best burger and bread anywhere on Santorini! The baklava was not traditional in presentation but was in flavor and so good.

All I can I say is wow, Michelin star food in my opinion, with a great atmosphere and an amazing view. A Special shout out to the staff that made our night one to remember. They were very attentive and explained the dishes and their recommendations were spot on. We had a mini Michelin like experience at this beautiful rooftop restaurant while staying at the hotel. our staff was very attentive and knew flavors of the menu exceptionally well. The recommendations were spot on. We had beef tart, smoked eel risotto, and grouper fish followed by chocolate dessert. The chef has been with the restaurant since it’s opening nine years ago and has 20 years of experience. He opened up dinner with a beautiful presentation of complementary bites, including delicious beetroot soup. This restaurant has incredible view, romantic and modern vibe, and forward-looking cuisine that impresses with quality ingredients. The menu was very reasonably priced considering location and quality. We were not rushed, felt both private and attended to. Definitely recommend for a memorable romantic dinner, including late dinner after sunset.

Wet Stories was the best beach club along Perivolos Beach —a highlight of our Santorini trip! Thomas was super responsive pre-trip, and the staff, especially Eva, ensured my birthday celebration was special. Upon arrival, they quickly switched our seating to perfect our setup (two large beach bed, two umbrellas, and a large pillow for our 5th person). The views were incredible, the beach pristine, and the bathrooms/showers spotless. Every dish and frozen cocktail was tasty, and the staff was attentive and fun. They had wine, beer & n/a options as well! Though expensive, it was absolutely worth the price and value. Guest Tips: Bring extra bottled water (it’s hot!) and know the walk down from Emporio is a little dicey. So helpful that they arranged a taxi back to our hotel. Highly recommend this experience!

A Hidden Gem in Santorini – Amazing Service by Evagelia! We had the absolute pleasure of visiting Wet Stories in Santorini, and it was by far the best beach experience we had during our stay. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family thanks to our wonderful server, Evagelia. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of all day long. Evagelia was incredibly kind, attentive, and had fantastic recommendations for both food and drinks. Her recommendation of the Chardonnay was spot on – it was absolutely delicious and paired perfectly with our meal. She took the time to really listen to our preferences and made sure everything was just right, without being overbearing. The balance of excellent service while still giving us space to relax was perfect! Not only did she take great care of us in the moment, but she also gave us helpful tips and suggestions for when we return to Greece in the future. It’s clear she truly cares about making guests feel special and ensuring they have the best experience possible. We ended up spending the whole day there, soaking up the sun, enjoying the food and drinks, and chatting with Evagelia. Her warm and welcoming attitude made our experience unforgettable. If you’re in Santorini, definitely stop by Wet Stories and make sure to ask for Evagelia – she’s a true gem! 🌟

Great atmosphere food is good but perhaps a little overpriced for what it is. Service was very minimal and considering we paid a lot for sunbeds would expect more attentive service. Beautiful setting, furniture and styling

We spent an afternoon at Wet Stories on Black Sand Beach and had a really nice, laid-back experience. Since it was our mini-moon, they kindly upgraded us from the second row (€120 in high season for two single day beds + umbrella) to the VIP front row(normally €180 for a double bed + umbrella facing the water), which was such a thoughtful touch. Honestly, anywhere you sit is comfortable, but being right by the sea made it special. The vibe was more relaxed than party, even on a Friday afternoon (we went 2–5 PM). The cabana beds and umbrellas are fixed into the sand, so you can’t adjust for shade — at one point we were both in the corners hiding from the sun 😅. Food was good (we had the pita sandwich and open kebab), and drinks were fine though my margaritas came without ice so we just made sure to ask for margarita with ice each time. Service was a little slow, but our server Mike was very sweet and attentive when we flagged him down. Overall, a chill beach club with a cool atmosphere and no food or drink minimum once you book your bed. Not five-star perfect, but still a great spot to relax and enjoy the Santorini coast.
