Le Pradeau Plage is a charming restaurant located in a picturesque setting with views of the bay and Porquerolles island. The menu features an array of locally caught seafood including scallops, prawns, and sea bass, as well as heartier options like steak. Accessible by boat and nestled by the water, this tiny fish restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience with stunning sunset views. Along the peninsula, various establishments cater to sun-seekers and water sports enthusiasts.
We had my birthday lunch here, and the food was amazing . Beautiful setting, views are lovely. Our waitress Mary lou (i think that was her name) was very friendly, polite, helpful and attentive with the menu, I would recommend this restaurant 😋

Great atmosphere steps away from the sea. French kitchen is excellent. Cocktails are incredible. Service was beyond our expectations. Reserve in advance. Seaside table in private deck for romantic dinner

We stumbled upon this establishment tucked away overlooking the small beach, a dirt track hides this gem behind a locked gate. Menu and conversation is all in French, the patrons were all french as were the staff, although some of them do speak English. Service is quick, very helpful and friendly. The menu is fresh every day - lots of choices in the fish as wel as for meat lovers. But mostly fish of course! Lovely cocktails. Nice choice of wines. We attended just before the summer school vacations. I imagine in the summer it is hard to get a table. So reservation needed!

A high-quality bistro restaurant on the beach. A moment out of time. Smiling and caring staff
Denis G — Google review
Stunning setting and lovely food. We had a fabulous meal here while on holiday. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic, they seemed to appreciate our attempts at speaking French but they were probably just being nice. The food, cocktails and wine were all excellent and the views are beautiful. I wouldn't bring very young children just because it's quite small and intimate but older children are fine. Access is down a small track and through locked gates. The tables overlook a small private cove with views to the islands. Would definitely recommend as somewhere special to eat.

Very enjoyable. Nicely presented and tasty fresh food and a magnificent terrace right at the shore. Beach for sunbathing directly connected. Quiet and calm atmosphere, friendly staff.

I had booked a table months in advance before arriving to France. When we arrived the waiter seated us at the table below the main area of the restaurant but didn't give us a menu or nor did he pay any attention to us for about 5 minutes. We instantly felt uncomfortable and disengaged so we asked for another table. The waiter was surprised and questioned us in a very rude tone as to why we are wanting to change the seats because apparently this is one of their best seats and one that is very hard to book. We then explained that we much prefered to sit at the top floor to soak in the wonderful views this place had to offer while also being part of the ambience. We both felt that the waiter was very rude and unprofessional dealing with the whole situation. We felt that asking for a change of table set us off on a wrong foot to start with. Our food arrived and to my surprise, my dish Fruits De Mare was nothing I expected and I ended up eating only the prawns leaving the rest on a plate. The pasta shells were enormous, the bisque overpowering, the big chunks of parmesan cheese covering the dish completely out of balance and heavy. I could barely taste any seafood because the bisque was so strong and unedible. The waiter then arrived and asked how was our meal, after which I politely explained that this is not what I expected. He then looked at me with his eyes full of amusement and said that this is how that dish is prepared in France. He was goijg around circles justifying to us why this dish was prepared the way it was served but did not offer to remove the charges from the bill or offer me anything else instead. We would not be returning to this restaurant after that given the disappointment.

If I could give this more stars I would. The food here was very very good. All the fish options were spectacular and the desserts were amazing. The setting was quiet and the view beautiful.

Located in the charming port of Les Salins, Restaurant Le Pothuau offers a range of traditional fish dishes and seafood delicacies. With its authentic and well-preserved ambiance, this establishment is renowned for its exquisite Provencal bourride, delectable shellfish, succulent flambeed gambas, and above all else, their exceptional bouillabaisse - widely regarded as the finest in the area.
If you like fish, seafood, soup, and garlic.... do try this amazing south of France's recipe called "La Bouillabaisse". This place is pretty typical, keeping all the secrets of the area. Straight beside the sea, you will appreciate this dish as I do every time i go back to France.

Want to eat bouillabaisse? Look no further. We've come here for 10 years and have never been disappointed. Lovely presentation on a cork plate. Friendly and competent service, who at request will also help to remove the bones and describe the fish.
Joachim M — Google review
This was the best Bouillabaisse I have ever had. It was not just a meal; it was a delectable Provençal ritual in food that needs to be respected and cherished. Prepared and overseen by fantastic artists from sea to table. This must be somewhere near the pinnacle of food with its humble beginnings as a fisherman’s soup made from what was available to this majestic feast that cannot be improved and Restaurant le Pothuau is the basilica. Give them 24 hrs to create it.
John Q — Google review
Five stars for the great seafood, especially the generous and semi-elaborate fish soup service. Three stars for making us feel so small when we asked to pack up some leftover food and received a snide remark of "I don't have 50 boxes". We were allowed to take the fish, but were made to throw away the potatoes and delicious ratatouille.
A A — Google review
We were greeted by several of the staff as we arrived which made us feel very welcome. We came for the 'soupe des poissons' which we enjoyed here a few years ago. Rich and brown, it's served the provencal way with cloves of garlic, croutons, rouilles and grated cheese. The tureen for two was huge and the quality as we remembered. This serves as the base for the bouillabaise - which is available without ordering in advance, but is pricey at 54 euro per person (minimum 2). The grilled dorade off the 34 euro menu filled us up to the extent we barely had room for the dessert of tarte tatin, or creme brulee etc. A feast to remember!

Nestled in a charming locale, Cafe du Port offers an inviting terrace that beckons diners to enjoy their meals al fresco. Initially met with a bit of gruffness from the staff, the experience quickly turns around thanks to their warm and friendly demeanor. The menu is a delightful exploration of flavors, boasting an impressive selection of salads alongside unique takes on steak tartare—one version even resembles a hearty beef burger while maintaining its deliciously raw essence inside.
Friendly staff, great location, good customer service and good food. I made a mistake while ordering, and they deducted it from my bill without me asking. I have to say.. 10/10 customer service.

Nice place by the port, with nice staff. Unfortunately I am allergic to one of the item not written on the menu. When the dish arrived I asked why this item was not indicated on the menu and I was told that it was part of the condiments. I felt a bit frustrated as I did not want to bother them but kind of expected a gesture from them for miscommunication (coffee offered or else). This reflects only my own experience.

Very nice restaurant near the port of Hyeres, serving fresh fish, grilled meat, and other dishes. We came back few times. Nice service too.

I had a great experience for lunch with beautiful views of the harbor, quick service, big and delicious salads at reasonable prices. Because we enjoyed our lunch we returned with friends for dinner a couple of evenings later and had the plate of the day of souris d'agneau for 19€ paired with a delicious recommended red wine. Part of a tourist location, we weren't let down.

The food was plentiful but very, very greasy: it's the first time for us that our plates have left half-eaten! I'm not a fan 😒 (Original) Je n'ai pas spécialement apprécié : personnel pressé, énervé, j'ai eu l'impression que l'on étaient "transparentes", beaucoup d'attente, emplacement de la table coincé dans une ruelle très passante... Nestled in the charming town of Hyères, Brasserie Le Tocco offers a delightful dining experience that combines efficiency with a warm atmosphere. With an extensive number of tables, this bustling brasserie is perfect for families and groups looking to enjoy generous portions of fresh fish and seafood. The friendly staff ensures quick service, making it an ideal spot for both lunch and dinner. While the terrace decor may not be everyone's cup of tea, the straightforward yet delicious menu more than makes up for it.
Le Tocco has a very large menu which made me a bit worried about how good it would be. We had the dish of the day which was Osso Buco with pasta - it came very quickly, was really hot and absolutely delicious. Followed by Fondant au chocolat (me) and crepe + banana and chocolate (husband) - both large and very yummy! The service was very good and the prices reasonable. We were there at a quieter time of year (not July/August) so it was not over busy, but we would thoroughly recommend.
Brian F — Google review
Very pleasant restaurant overlooking the boats at the port. Had a steak with a cep sauce, which was really tasty. The service could be a little slow at times and the meal could've done with a bigger portion of salad.
Coralie P — Google review
Our food was on our table working 2 mins of ordering and somewhat luke warm. The kitchen pre prepare the plates in advance, not freshly prepared to order. The staff unfriendly and seem to take it personally when we complained, they told us ‘this is not a five star restaurant’ They gave us a small discount after complaining to the manger but what we really wanted was good freshly prepared restaurant food. If you looking for freshly prepared food, this is not the place to go.
Z3k 7 — Google review
Waiter and waitress were perfect Food was ok Pastas overcooked and it’s impossible to choose how you want the meat of your burger cooked. That remind me of a restaurant which has been closed for sanitary reasons, they were pre cooking the meat of their burger among several other problems.
Cédric D — Google review
Cosy evening for our family dinner. Very friendly personable fast service. Huge portions of fish and seafood. We took some of it home. Great organic wine. And dessert was shared as this too was generous! Menu also in English.
Anouk G — Google review
Pleasant lunch, but I wouldn’t recommend the Caesar salad (I think it’s been prepared a few hours before and then put in the fridge, so it came super cold). Crepes very tasty. Friendly staff.
Ernesto P — Google review
Rude service, not polite to the customers, no smile at all; long waiting for ordering. The wine brought to the table was different as it's indicated on the menu. The beaf steak was very hard, tasted like rubber. The tuna steak was served with frozen sauce and the french fries were old. I would not go back again. Very disappointed experience!

L'Enoteca bistrot chic is situated in a bustling alley, which may not be ideal during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, it offers a delightful dining experience that comes highly recommended. The lamb shank and squid pasta are delectable dishes that showcase the restaurant's culinary excellence. The waitstaff are also extremely friendly, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere.
This was the culinary highlight of our vacation in the South of France. Quite unexpectedly, this bistro offers refined, fresh, well balanced dishes. The service was impeccable, this would definitely be my go-to if you are in town.

Le Poisson Rouge is a charming restaurant located just above the Niel port, offering a beautiful view of the sea. The modern furniture and reasonably extensive menu make it an inviting choice for lunch or dinner. While reservations are recommended, it's possible to secure a table without one, especially on weekdays. The friendly service staff adds to the relaxed atmosphere of this cozy establishment.
Excellent fresh fish option. I had the Dorade, which was the fish of the day and it was amazing! Great service and wonderful views of the water. All of our meals came with delicious prawns.

We went on a Tuesday evening and got a table without a reservation quickly. The door with a fish on it already invited us to and after climing up the stairs, we were not at all disappointed by the nice view over the little port and the sea. The furniture is modern (plastic seats in various colours outside) The menu is reasonably long and the restaurant offers special lunch menus most of the days as well as a menu of the season for dinner. Service personnel is friendly but not the most attentive. The food was very good in any ways. Well combined flavours well prepared, although there could have been a little more finesse for the preselected menu, maybe the a la carte menu offers more.

Delicious fresh fish in a stunning location! Excellent service and best food we had on Presqu’île de Giens. Dog friendly too!
Katie B — Google review
Nice location, friendly yet a bit overworked staff. We visited on a Sunday afternoon, which might explain this. Food is decent, nothing extraordinary, but quite expensive. 5 Prawns with a selection of side dishes for 28 Euros is not really value for money. Altogether, the restaurant did not meet our expectations. Not recommended.

L'Orangeraie is a beautiful restaurant with a perfect spot for catching the sunset from its terrace. The food is highly praised, especially the ceviche and monkfish dish. The service is excellent, with knowledgeable staff who can explain dishes in both French and English. While it's on the pricier side, the location, food quality, and service make it worth it. It's recommended to book ahead for a table on the terrace to enjoy spectacular views over the bay.
The food here was absolutely divine - some of the best I've tasted in ages. Everything was so well balanced on the plate. Also loved the cocktails. The restaurant has views out over the port.

We dropped in for a quick snack and wow, what a surprise.... The hummus is the best I've ever tasted and the presentation is top notch. The crudo de thon (like a tuna ceviche) was equally as tasty and beautifully presented. Even the crunchy wholegrain bread was delicious. Decent portions and prices too along with friendly service. A solid 5 stars for everything

Beautiful spot, perfect for catching the sunset from the terrace. The food is really good, the ceviche was incredible, and I had a monkfish dish that was also wonderful. Service was great, the waitress explained the dishes very well (both in French and English) and she had great wine knowledge too. Very much on the pricier side, but for the location, food and the service I was very happy to pay the extra.

Service is awful! And will be costing the owner money, we cancelled our entree after it never showed up as well as coffee.. We had to chase our entree, a missing drink and coffees. Food is ok, though they didn't have many items. Is expensive for what it is, but guess its an island. Nice location.
D — Google review
Terrible service. Rude waitress made me cry. I speak French, mind you, but my partner and I were talking to each other in English - I assume that’s why this waitress felt the need to treat us like she did? It took 45 minutes for our mains to arrive. When it did, she slammed the bread basket down in front of my partner’s face and walked away without so much as a glance in his direction. I seriously do not recommend. And the food was definitely not worth the price.
Ariel T — Google review
I ordered a medium steak . This dish costs 28 euro. I got a well-done steak instead of medium one . No one apologised , what’s more they started telling me that’s medium and it shouldn’t be pink. Disgusting food, disgusting service
Daria R — Google review
When you cancel because the table you’re given isn’t the one you wanted — it’s in the way, unbearably hot inside — and the staff responds with: “I’ll remember your face! Try to book here another time!” That is simply unacceptable. This is neither friendly nor professional. Trust me, I will never return to your restaurant. Good food is important, but attitude matters even more. I even told the staff member calmly and respectfully: “If you can’t give the table to other guests, we’ll keep it — but if you can, we prefer to cancel.” Never again.

Situated on the sandy beach of l'Almanarre, Restaurant Le Robinson is a renowned beachside establishment offering a picturesque setting. With a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, it is the perfect place to enjoy refreshing cocktails, delectable pastries, and ice cream while basking in the sun on their private beach. During lunchtime, guests can indulge in exquisite dishes inspired by Bistro-style cuisine from Maison Lelievre while dipping their toes in the water.
Luckily you have me! You read the 3.9* average and think "tourist restaurant with tourist food", and scroll on. The insider knows bs when he reads or eats it. Here's what I can tell you about this place. There's a chef in the kitchen. They know how to make a fish soup you could just about stand a knife in. A bouillabaisse stock that whacks you in the face like a friend when you're outta line. None of the food deserved less than 4.5*. Sure, the nicoise had olives and anchovies that came from foodservice giants (and not local small suppliers), but the dressing was excellent in its simplicity, the leaves fresh and the 100g of tuna really well handled. With the 2 seafood dishes as well, this showed a kitchen where technique rules. They need a decent wine list ( hint: where 1 producer bottles white, rose and red, pass as if it was on fire). But otherwise, it's frustratingly reassuring that a mediocre resto in france would be great pretty much anywhere else.

The security guards at the airport received assistance from someone in Toulon who recommended L'Abri-Cotier, a restaurant located near the beach. Known for its delicious and modern cuisine, this place is popular among locals and offers Provencal specialties. The meals are of high quality, with a pleasant ambiance and great views of the sea if you manage to get a good table. However, some patrons have found that the table configuration could be improved to provide more comfort.
This place has become our local kryptonite!! Servers are super fun and friendly, patient with our toddler and the view is great. Everything from delicious healthy juices to excellent octopus and Mediterranean plate for lunch. Even the kiddie fish & chips was good… but the real addiction is their sweet potato fries! I discovered it on the first day in the area, as we had to walk nearly 20min to find the closest grocery and ended up here for coffee afterwards. We’ve been back every day since!! Walking 15-20min each way with a 2 year old in the midday sun sometimes… a serious winner. I’m sure we will be back again before the end of the week, as there are still too many things on the menu I want to try.

Had cod fries which seemed like savoury churro with a hint of fish but wasnt unpleasant, swordfish starter which was unexpectedly mashed in some sauce with flavourings but very nice and some lovely chips . Nice

Both of our meals were very good. The décor is nice. The view on the sea is great if you get the right table. The only negative point: the configuration of the table is not great and there is not enough room at each end for one to be sitter comfortably.

Delicious cocktails! my girlfriend and I stopped to grab a drink (they were full for diner), I had a pinacolada and she had a caipirina, both were so good! I re-ordered a pina because it was just exceptional. Staff is really cool and the place is beautiful.

Brasserie des Iles is a top restaurant located by the port, offering a fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is prepared with care using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Specializing in fish, the restaurant's design is attention-grabbing. While some menu items may be unavailable due to weather conditions, the well-spaced tables and attentive staff contribute to a great dining experience. Although there might be occasional wait times for food, the delicious dishes and excellent service make it worth visiting.
The place is very chill and the waitress is such a nice person. The food was great as well, just enough for a person to not feel bloated after eating and still take a desert ! Be careful it is a bit more expensive but the quality and the service is worth it 100%.

A place out of the ordinary. Order seafood and you’ll get a superb experience. The whole staff went that extra mile to give us an utmost culinary journey. All the way from how we were greeted in the morning when we booked the table to when we closed the place during coffee. Simply great! Thanks!!

Excellent fresh seafood ! Very kind service. They proudly present their catches of the day. We sat inside and the roof was open so it has a very lovely bright atmosphere. would 100% recommend. It is quite pricey. we had one of their fish of the day which was exquisite and their vongole pasta which was kept quite simple. That one was not crazy but still a very lovely restaurant.
Steph W — Google review
Overpriced, was exited to have diner there based on the menu, but did not match expectation at all, my lobster spaghetti dish was poor for a price tag of € 45, almost insulting, didn’t want to complain at the table we just pay the bill without taking any dessert or coffee, do not wright review normally as I am an Executive chef myself but he had to be said. Was excepting a better quality and at least home made spaghetti but they were clearly bought in. Minimum amount of lobster lucky if I had 70 to 80g in the plate, we are travelling every year since 2016 in the Provence region and being s family of foodies we are eating in several restaurants during our stay but never been that disappointed before. Staff were friendly I enjoyed the wine but the food was a disappointment. I know from previous reviews that the owner do not take criticism very well, but you just need sometime to take in on the shin recognise that you could do better for the price you are charging and make sure you are meeting client expectation, this is the nature of our business. Kind regards

We loved this place - they opened early for us even though we didn’t ask - great service - fabulous fresh fish with table side deboning - very nice touch. My beef was delicious- cooked perfectly but would have liked a bit more meat for the price. I would go back and order a seafood platter to share. The local red wine I had was delicious. Their friendly staff were professional and warm and even indulged us as native English speakers. Excellent spot.

Great food, great drinks, great staff, great atmosphere. A bit pricey.

The restaurant looks really nice, inside is clean and airy. We had scallops which were good, and the pasta with truffles and chorizo which was a desaster. Chorizo was hard as rock and the pasta was cold and looked that it was seating on the counter for an hour. My husband asked to change the dish, the waitress put the fork and knife on the table and left with the dish. They warmed it up in a microwave which made it even more gross. My kids pasta with clams was similar. The bill was 180 euros for this horrible dinner and experience. I am usually eager to give a positive review and happy to pay the high cost of the restaurant for a great meal and service but this was disappointing. A dinner that was promising was horrible. We all left in terrible mood.

I love it ! If you want to go take the L39 and get off at Carqueranne. Going to Toulon. Cross the road and continue on the .«General de Gaulle» street, you'll continue down and left, until you see some restaurants and Il Casale on your right. Delicious !

I’m putting a 3/5 because it was okay overall. The food was not the best to be honest. It was beautifully decorated but for the price, it’s a bit too high for “normal” food. The service was very bad. The waiters were really nice, but we waited 15-20 mins to order, we waited more than 1h30 mins to get the food and then we waited another 20 mins to get the check. We were very tired and it was just too long.

A Timeless Gem: Maurin des Maures Still Shines Bright Thirty years. That's how long it's been since I last had the pleasure of dining at Maurin des Maures during my student days. Returning now with my wife, I was filled with a mix of nostalgia and anticipation. I'm absolutely delighted to report that this restaurant has not only maintained its exceptional standards but seemingly elevated them. From the warm welcome to the attentive service, the entire experience was a delight. And the food? Simply superb. Each dish was a testament to the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the kitchen. Maurin des Maures is more than just a restaurant; it's an institution. It's a place where culinary tradition meets unwavering quality. Bravo to the entire team for preserving such a wonderful dining experience over the years. We will certainly not wait another 30 years to return!

We had the fish of the day, which was beautifully presented and tasted excellent. Sitting by the window we had a clear view of the sea and apparently it was jazz night because we were surprised by four talented musicians who made it a memorable dinner experience. Service was also very kind and helpful

We arrived a little too late for the daily lunch menu (starter, entree and dessert) and were told that we can only order from the regular menu. The item we all picked out was not available (beef stew) so we decided on the cheeseburger with fries and salad. The beef patty was delicious but the burger was built wrong. All condiments were put on the bottom which made the bun really soggy. The fries and the side salad were good but the ketchup (bottle) was expired back in July. Other than that it was a decent lunch. 4 burgers with 2 glasses of wine and 2 Cokes came to 90 Euros, so not necessarily cheap but since there are not many options at the end of January, you have to take what's available.

We were 2 tourists from Canada. We found the restaurant to be way way below average in quality and nowhere near the prices commanded. The staff were arrogant and the owner walked around with a huge chip on his shoulder. A question we asked was met with a shrug as he walked away. We do not recommend this restaurant.

The pizza ingredients were good quality and well baked. It was nice to be able to customize our pizzas including having a large selection of cheeses. The only true disappointment to the meal came at the end when I ordered the coffee which must have been improperly prepared because the espresso served to me was quite diluted and not terribly tasty. When I complained about the coffee the manager showed me that they were indeed using authentic Italian coffee (Caffe Vergnano)…but didn’t offer to rectify the problem by making me another correctly made espresso (despite himself having said the he suspected that whoever had made my espresso probably hadn’t tamped the coffee powder well enough).

Kids menu was well sized and the meat really excellent. Especially the chicken was with a great sauce 👍 Our parents menu, shrimp risotto and lamb was incredible and with well picked ingredients far beyond what you typically seeing served at our restaurants. Service was also great. Very polite, attentive with good recommendations and the right level of letting guests enjoy alone but still being present. The focus on quality over quantity shines through in their offerings, such as the exquisite sea bass carpaccio and mussel soup—both highly praised for their freshness and flavor.
Absolutely fantastic!!! That sums up everything about this restaurant. The atmosphere. The service. The FOOD!!!! It’s a wonderful place with view of the harbor and tastefully decorated. We were greeted by a friendly woman and then also a nice man who spoke English and explained the menu. The menu is small, but we have found that restaurants that only make a few dishes, usually do them quite well. This was no exception. We had two starters. Sea bass carpaccio and mussel soup. Both were excellent. Fresh and full of wonderful flavor. We did wish the mussel soup had more mussels though. They were so good!!! For our main course I had the prawns with vegetables and my partner had the liver. The prawns were cooked absolutely perfect. The flavor was incredible! One of my favorite prawn dishes ever! The mix of tastes in the vegetables will have me remembering it for a very long time! My partner, who had the liver, said it was the best liver he had ever had. I don’t usually like liver and even I liked it! The presentation of the food was also marvelous, which, of course, is also important. The prices were also very reasonable considering the location and quality of the dishes. The kind gentleman suggested a rose wine for me and a red wine for my partner. Both were fantastic! This place is a MUST if you’re anywhere near this area. We will be back for sure!

The food was amazing and the service was excellent. My family and I were visiting from Austria, and since everything was in French, we didn’t understand much of the menu. One of the waiters noticed this, and just a few minutes later, the chef personally came out and explained the entire menu to us in English.

Great spot! They claim the chef worked at the Ritz in Paris. The food is delicious, beautifully plated and fresh. Don’t sleep on the fruits and veggies.

Fresh food (the fish was great) and good service from friendly staff. Decent value for the harbor: we had a 3 course meal for 31€ each excluding drinks. The portions were generous. A good address.

This restaurant has a really good view and a very special mood! You can feel eating during the 60's Food was amazing with a very smart combination of dishes for a daily menu. Dessert wasn't that good but they were ok. Service was excellent :)

This is one of the place where you pay the summer tourist price but it does not deserve it . Neither for The dining room atmosphere ( one of the most boring I have ever attended) , not for the quality of the food and certainty not for the quality/ price . The epitome of it will be the wine list pricing .. surely the most ridiculous price I have seen for à not even “ready to drink “ wine . Service was normally good though.

Nestled along the picturesque Cote Port la Gavine, Restaurant le Flore stands as one of the oldest establishments in the area, celebrated for its dedication to traditional brasserie cuisine. The ambiance strikes a balance between classic charm and professionalism, making it an inviting spot for diners seeking quality meals without any unpleasant surprises. The culinary offerings are particularly noteworthy; guests rave about the daily aioli and a variety of island specialties that showcase fresh seafood like cuttlefish and squid.
Nice traditional little restaurant with pleasant staff and great traditional and tasty dishes to try. The boulabaisse was superb and the home made deserts delightful. Superb Art Deco interior! Recommend.

Real shame as people were nice and location beautiful but the quality of the food is just not the best. Dont get me wrong, it wasnt bad either but you can easily cook something better at home.

A disgrace to the restaurant industry. We went to ask for a table for four people. Two tables were available, and it would have been very easy to put them together, but the owner refused without any explanation. Even worse: he literally kicked us out with a curt “No, it’s not possible, goodbye,” showing no politeness and making no effort to find a solution. An arrogant, contemptuous attitude—completely unworthy of a hospitality professional. Everyone knows you don’t treat customers like that. Avoid at all costs!

The dining experience at Le Carré du port is exceptional. The flavors of the dishes are delightful and the grilled sardines with Guerande salt deserve a special mention. The prices are reasonable and the staff is both charming and attentive, making sure to cater to any allergies that guests may have. Overall, it was a wonderful time and I highly recommend this restaurant to others.
Unpretentious restaurant with genuinely outstanding food. French/Moroccan owners serving food that's a blend of classic South of France and Moroccan influences. Having been to Morocco and North African restaurants in London this was the best tagine I've ever had. Outstanding, and a unique mix of the two cultures. Partner had magret de canard, a classic French dish which was also beautifully cooked, served with perfect berry accompaniment, home made frites and a delicious salad garnish. Local red wine also exceptional. This restaurant is slightly set back from the port. Don't overlook it in favour of those on the marina front. Don't forget to have dessert.....

(Translated by Google) Very good time at Le Carré, where we went for lunch with friends (our little annual holiday pleasure in La Londe). As always, we were very well received and the dishes were excellent: we had grilled sardines (almost a tradition), grilled andouillette, and meat skewers. Special mention to the vegetable gratin to accompany the dishes - a killer -, and to the dessert “La cabosse” which was delicious!… Everything was plentiful, very good value for money. The staff is smiling and very pleasant, and paid particular attention to the dishes of my mother who has multiple allergies: which meant that she was able to eat things that were suitable and safe for her. Thank you to the whole team for this good time, we recommend without hesitation and we will come back once again next year!

La Salle - restaurant & brocante in Hyères is a delightful spot that offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying homemade, locally sourced cuisine crafted from fresh ingredients. The friendly staff ensures a welcoming experience for families and friends alike. Guests have praised the accommodating nature of the team, especially towards children, providing toys and drawing materials to keep little ones entertained.
After having a very unpleasant experience next door at le jardin being refused a table even though the place was empty and we had a bus to catch so we would have been quite fast (I think they just don’t like children and/or foreigners), we were super pleasantly surprised by the welcome we received at La Salle. Very friendly and patient with our overtired toddler, very accommodating. They had toys, markers and drawing paper without even asking, and I saw a changing table in the back. The food was delicious and the setting quite charming! My only regret was that we couldn’t stay for coffee and dessert. Our daughter was getting unpleasant and we ran out of time anyway. Hopefully we can come back another time! Thanks again for your patience and understanding.

Friendly and welcoming staff, but lack in professionalism. (Serving mussels without a spare plate/bowl for shells and no tablespoon) Food was correct but arrived unevenly warmed up, the wine list is far too expensive for the dishes served. The food is good value for money. Disappointed with the choice of wine which had the price of a gastronomic restaurant and nothing cheaper was available. Have been to La Salle five or six times but will wait for them to go back to the standard and prices they had when they first started. Even though everything is going up, some different choices would ensure the restaurant remains successful.

Excellent decorated restaurant. The staff and service were also excellent and very kind. The selection of wines is satisfactory. However the food was bad. The pasta was bad, poorly spiced and simply below average. The ribs were ok while the side dish was a fairly simple dish (mashed potatoes with truffle crumbs)

A good location and attractive restaurant. My plate of the day was very good. Crispy slices of vegetables with a good dressing (perhaps with verjus). My family had the Gambos which were good but they felt the rest of the dish was a little plain. Nice black rice. Helpful and happy staff

E.Leclerc HYERES is a fantastic destination for all your shopping needs, offering an impressive variety of products ranging from fresh meat and seafood to fruits, cheeses, and wines. This well-organized supermarket also stocks household supplies, toys, and beach essentials at prices that are significantly lower than what you might find in the Netherlands. Families will appreciate the ample parking options available for those with children or disabilities. Additionally, E.
A huge selection of meat, fruit, cold cuts, wine, cheese, but also household supplies, toys, and various beach items. Prices are more than 50% lower than in the Netherlands – coffee for example, parking for families with children and for people with disabilities, and a gas station with the lowest fuel prices I’ve seen. Highly recommended for people who need everything in one place at the best prices. Bravo to E.Leclerc!

Oh dear. It used to be great home made food well priced with really kind friendly staff. The farcies were the owner's grandma's recipe. Profiteroles die for. (Translated by Google) When I arrived at the restaurant, only one table was occupied. The person at the counter greeted me and told me I could sit outside. 20 minutes later (!!!) The waitress brought the menu and took my order. Another 30 minutes later, I got up to ask if there was a problem. I was told there was a problem with the "good." If someone was in charge of serving, they would have been surprised not to see the dish come out of the kitchen, but since no one came by during the 30 minutes, obviously... I repeat, we were two tables of one person, it's not difficult to follow what's going on, it's not a rush. The dish, a wok, is swimming in a pool of soy sauce. I'm pretty sure these are ready-made meals, simply reheated. Having finished, I wanted dessert, but after spending another 15 minutes waiting for the waitress to come out onto the terrace after finishing my meal, I preferred to pay at the counter and leave the restaurant. 1 hour and 10 minutes to eat a ready-made meal for 24 euros with a Coke when there were 2 people in the restaurant, well done, great performance 👏 (Original) Arrivé au restaurant, une seule table est occupée.

We LOVED ❤️❤️❤️ our stay at the Provençal, it was perfect for an October - catching the last of the summer sun rays - trip. All the staff were really lovely, especially the manager( or the sommelier) of the Rasscasse restaurant who really spent time with us picking wine and chatting about the hotel and area. We loved that it felt fresh and contemporary but steeped in history. The rooms were really comfortable - we tried a standard and a slightly larger room and both were great. We will be back and bringing friends and family! One very small suggestion would be to tell every guest on arrival how to access the pool and sea area and how to get sun bed towels - we figured it out but it wasn’t obvious. Just a detail amongst many other great details

Pros: setting, view, pool/ocean access, tastefully renovated room. Service is virtually non-existent: at check-in, no information is provided (not even the Wi-Fi code), particularly regarding the location (where to find the pool, restaurants, parking). There's no welcome, no explanation of the restaurant offerings, even though they are numerous. At check-out, there's no temperature check regarding the quality of the stay... At the "Le Bar du Soleil" restaurant, the kindness of the waiters, the setting, and the food don't make up for the disorganization: dishes served to the wrong table, you have to ask three times for a carafe of water to be served, etc. There's also a lack of simpler, all-day dining options for those who would like to have a quick lunch near the pool/beach area outside of the limited opening hours of the brasserie and sun bar. Finally, a major drawback is the soundproofing of the rooms, despite the renovation. You can hear your neighbors drawing their curtains and flushing the toilet as if they were in the room with you. In short, a place with incredible potential, but lacking in the service and comfort expected at these prices.

Le Grand Baie is a highly recommended restaurant with excellent food and a great location, making it perfect for family outings. The portion sizes are just right, and while prices may be higher, the perfectly cooked food and professional staff make it worth it. Seafood lovers will especially enjoy dishes like the Marmite du Pecheur, a delightful mix of fish, shrimp, octopus, and clams in a flavorful fish soup.
Perfect food, very nice staff, even if we had terrace to the city and not with sea view, we didnt regrett and would come back again! Very good wine and sea food👍

We had an amazing lunch, the menu of the day was excellent. The view is fantastic, although you need a reservation for a table with view (we didn't). Staff was friendly. We would definitely come back

Excellent Seafood. One of the best seafood meals I have had anywhere. Excellent wine, excellent service and great prices given the level of quality and the portions. Can easily suggest the Marmite du Pecheur a mix of fish, shrimp, octopus and clams in a large bowl of fish soup. Fantastic meal and a great ambiance. Bravo. I will be eating here again, before I leave to go back home, it is that good.

As written in other reviews, the quality of food and service has really diminished over the years. Our food took more than 1.5 hours to be served, the staff was so busy that the service barely existed and after all that we were served mostly mediocre food, except for the prawn which was absolutely horrible. At 30€ a platter this was unacceptable. Even my child’s steak haché was so poorly prepared, it couldn’t be eaten. Tonight was the last time we will visit this restaurant.

Don’t trust a booking. There is a nice part, and a bad part, of the restaurant and they have no scruples to be disingenuous when confirming.

Very good food! The kids menu was very good and authentic. The waiters seemed a bit stressed even though the restaurant wasn't too crowded. In the scallop risotto there were some pieces of shell.

Meals are tiny and overpriced. Meat is dry and portions are just incredibly small for an average of 21$ a meal. Would not recommend. Food was great 2 years ago, but i think there was a big change in the menu or a chef change that made this place awfull...

Le Marais is an elegant seaside pavilion that offers refined European seafood dishes, pasta, and a wide selection of wines. The ambiance is truly delightful, exceeding the neighboring Petit Bain. Although it falls slightly short with only four stars due to the lack of vegan options, the restaurant compensates with exceptionally tasty fries and breathtaking views of the beach. The setting is stunning, with a sheltered terrace right by the water and a warm welcome from friendly staff who provide competent service.
What a little gem of a find. We were down the beach and looked for somewhere close by. The outside threw us off as when we entered this little haven paradise. Access to the beach with a view, quirky lanterns and decor. The kitchen closed at 3pm, but we were able to order a pizza, the truffle pizza was to die for. Dog friendly place. Highly recommend.

The restaurant is easily accessible by walk from Promenade the la mer and being near from the airport, the nautical base and residential areas and campings around makes it a superb meeting place for any occasion , reception , celebration or just an informal lunch, apéritives or dinner. The menu offers a large selection of Mediterranean tradition, from cold tartares to Italian specialities , the Chef enhances each dish with care and attention , we especially appreciated the Gambero Rosso Gnocchi And it’s delicious creamy toppings, And a special truffle sauce served on a oven baked Cured meat pizza. There s a good selection of bottles of wine, champagne and drinks are a little bit pricey but worth in a idylliac surroundings of crushing waves , moonlight view and attentive service. There are a lot of artistic design items from local artists that add a cozy atmosphere to the experience.

The place is great because of the awesome location. View is wonderful and the terrace outside is wonderful, even inside is open with a view to the water. At a first glance it was ok and service kind, but they started rushing us with was very annoying, they came at least 6 times in like 10 minutes to ask if we were ready to order. We had by then a bottle of rose and some cocktails, so we were taking our time to decide what we would eat. Appetizer plate to share was a little bit small in quantity but that’s maybe because we were eight. We got to the food and our third bottle of wine. We were offered to take either sparkling or still water, and we opted for just a “carafe” . The guy looked annoyed and came back few moments later saying “all carafes” were taken in the other services and the he could instead bring a bottle. We asked instead for a glass of water, which he brought but left saying he would come back later. Then a colleague of him brought a “carafe”. At that point it really ruined the ambiance, is it worth to ruin a restaurant’s reputation just to make 3 extra euros? I was going to put only one star. In the end we understood they were being so pushy because they had planned two services, a second one at 10pm. If that was the case they should specify it from the beginning, and shouldn’t expect a table of 8 to be done in two hours. By the end the manager came and offered to serve a free limoncello if we were leaving the table in a very kind way. They kind of tried to recover by being kinda nice and asking if everything was ok, but of course it was not. In conclusion, the place itself is wonderful, the food is good, without being anything extraordinary. If it wasn’t for the view I wouldn’t recommend it. Also, bathrooms were dirty and not at all at the level for this kind of place. The place opened just before we arrived so there’s no reason why they should be that dirty (from the day before?)

This place was worth the wait. We needed reservations so we waited to the last night of our trip. The atmosphere was spectacular, the food was excellent (my husband had the Crying Tiger and I had chicken curry) we split a bottle of excellent white wine as well. Ô Cap Couleurs is a delightful dining spot that truly captures the essence of a memorable meal. During my visit for an Easter lunch, I indulged in their full menu formula, which included a starter, main course, and dessert—all bursting with flavor. The portions were generous and reasonably priced for the area, especially at just 29 for such a complete experience. The service was exceptional; the staff exuded warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home.
Had a great 3 course meal here at a fair price. Waitstaff was professional and friendly. And the view of the harbor made a great backdrop for the evening.

Top. Went there for a Easter lunch. We had a full menu formula (starter, main, dessert) with a variety of tasty dishes. The service and food were fantastic. Decent portions for fair price value (in this area), especially if one decides to go for the mentioned full menu formula for 29€. They also served us free bread with an olive pesto as antipasto. The whole service, our waitress and the rest of the staff were friendly, hospitable, and with a welcoming vibe. Highly recommend to check this place out if you're in Hyéres and would like to eat good food in a lovely restaurant with authentic cuisine. Important advice: make a reservation the day before, to be sure to get a table. Merci and many greetings from South Tyrol (Italy) Alexandra and Florian

The best food we had in a restaurant in the south of France, the food was excellent, plated beautifully and the food pairings were extraodinary. My foie gras with gingerbread was the best starter i have ever had. The owners are very welcoming. If you are ever in Hyerès, it’s a must-visit spot.
Mad M — Google review
In the center of old town Hyères, this restaurant is straight out of the 1970s. The decor is all Middle Ages with chastity belts hanging from the ceiling. The wait staff is particular. One criticized our choice of an “out of region” wine while the other was a Tim Burton character. The food is traditional French fare, heavy on the red meat but well prepared.
Jools C — Google review
Rude waitress, mediocre food, expensive for what it is. AVOID. The restaurant has a cute/tacky medieval ambience. The mood was very quiet, there were only 2 tables seated, and we were placed at the corner of the terrace (the farthest spot away from the door, this is important) despite there being plenty of room elsewhere. We were also keen to take a look inside the restaurant because there are all sorts of decorations inside, and were told that we were being a nuisance by distracting the staff. At first, everything was fine (aside from our odd encounter with the server who did not want us to see inside the restaurant). The medieval drinks we ordered were tasty, the menu seemed fun and we were excited to try our dishes. We ordered a few round of drinks, and the server started making us feel as if we were being a bother (for ordering for more drinks at a restaurant!). After our very mediocre starters, as the waitress collected our dishes, I asked for another glass of wine and the was told that we were being too demanding, and that she “could not come and serve us every 2 minutes”. It was shocking, rude, and completely uncalled for. Two minutes later, she arrived with our mains, acting as if nothing had happened. I spoke my mind, told her that her comment was rude and she should not speak to customers that way. Instead of apologizing, she blamed me for not ordering all my glasses of wine at the same time. I was appalled. As for the food, the burger was alright, and the steak tartare (facon Thai, in a medieval restaurant) was bland and virtually inedible. Without eating our food, I asked for the bill and we left immediately. The bill was 132 euros, the biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent in my 20 years visiting Hyeres as an adult. Overall a very negative experience. Of the 2 wait staff, the brown haired lady was incredibly unpleasant. They placed us as far from the door as possible, and then complained to us that we were ordering drinks. I understand that as a waiter you sometimes feel overwhelmed, at which point you politely ask your clients to be patient, which would have been no problem at all, but the contemptuous nature of her discourse was unfortunate. Don’t waste your money here.

Nestled just 30 meters from the beach, La Reine Jane - Hôtel, Restaurant, Bar et Rooftop à Hyères is a modern gem that beautifully blends comfort and style. Completely renovated in 2017 by a team of 14 European designers, each room boasts its own unique flair. Guests can indulge in outdoor dining with a buffet breakfast option available for an additional fee. The hotel features four distinct spaces that cater to various tastes and moods.
Coming to Hyeres for 25 years, the whole experience has been greatly enhanced since La Reine Jeanne came on the scene (and her sisters Le Marias and now Hotel Lilou too!). Myself and my kids love the Sunday brunch of fresh, local and authentic French dishes, in abundance. I LOVE yoga on the rooftop on Sunday morning and drinks there in the evening for sunset! This is one of the coolest spots in Hyeres, not to be missed ❤️

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Tiny room tired and stained including the sheets. Toilet inside the shower (see photo) and open to the room next to your pillow. Even worse the hotel was privatized on our second night. We were not permitted to use any of the common spaces including the roof and the restaurant was closed to us. The music was unimaginably loud the roof was directly above our head the room was vibrating. When I complained at midnight I was rudely told there was nothing that could be done. At 1.30 we left our room and slept in our car. Next day hung around exhausted and devestated when the manager arrived it was the restaurant manager not the hotel manager in fact the same person I spoke to at midnight. I showed him all the recordings I had taken on my phone and the time they had been made. He couldn’t have cared less. Basically he blamed us and said we had been informed in advance though could not offer any proof. We were only informed the dining room would be closed on the Saturday and certainly not told there would be the kind of hell we were subjected too. It was torture. We now have a dangerously long drive after no sleep. We were made to pay the full 400 euros and not offered so much as a drink as a gesture of apology. All plans for the Sunday were cancelled we just wanted to get home and sleep. Incomprehensible experience. I’m so shocked this can happen. Please don’t book. Go to the lodges îles d’or it’s beautiful with kind professionalism and hardly any difference in price but worlds apart in terms of experience. It’s also got an amazing restaurant. We were actually relived the restaurant was closed in retrospect. Having subsequently read the reviews it sounds as dreadful as the hotel

The setting is good and the roof bar a nice place to hang out for a drink or two in the evening. The restaurant was not so good. Started with one waiter who couldn’t smile and ended with a complaint to the manager. Too often restaurants get away with very average or below average food. Either I’m just fussy or people just can’t be bothered to give constructive feedback and for the restaurant to make changes. I’ve been to many Greek restaurants and even very basic ones that make authentic Greek food that is tasty and sensibly priced. This restaurant is not one of them. The tzatziki - or at least, what they served and labelled as tzatziki was very poor and not what a Greek would serve. The chicken came rolled into a ball, completely unseasoned, and just cooked. There was nothing to it - no flavour, no effort. The hummus was more like a paste and both the pitta and bread was dry and not properly heated. The aubergine and okra were just mixed with what seemed to be tomato paste- sharp, acidic, and unpleasant. Now to the new waitress. Her first night. She was fantastic. Upbeat and a breath of fresh air unlike the first waiter we encountered. We will not be returning but I hope this restaurant reviews their menu and makes more effort so that others have a better experience.

We had brunch on Sundays since a few years here, but the level went so much down … less choice, to much people accepted so trays always empty, coffee served on a glass without spoon ( they ran out of spoons and cups), waiting 30min for a cold coffee,…such a pity

5 stars for the restaurant, bar, location and staff and 2 stars for the rooms. We stayed 2 nights at the hotel and while the concept and staff are lovely, the rooms are not worth the price. At least the ones we booked, standard double have the standard of a hostel, not hotel, with an open toilet in the room next to the bed and tiny space around the bed.

It was my fourth time at the Restaurant and it won’t be my last. The rooftop bar has delicious drinks and a great view overlooking the see. Also the dinner afterwards was a wonderful experience with incredible good food, nice staff and a beautiful location!

Very nice place, make sure to book.Great roof terrasse w/ Fabulous coche de soleil. Friendly staff. Some of the dishes has to be composed better: The sashimi tuna was bland, the thai rice we had accompanying (with fried meat) did not suit the dish. The fried octopus was served with an oil/balasmico sauce that did not fit at all. The white wine did not go well with the sea dishes. The creme brulė was not good. The summer dessert ( tarte / sorbet of strawberry) was very good.

Very cozy hotel with a breathe view! Each room is designed by a different artist which makes this hotel so special. Not to forget the rooftop and easy access to the beach 😎 The staff is very friendly and helpful. Amazing place! 👏

Nestled on the stunning Bergerie beach, Restaurant COUCOU GIENS offers a delightful dining experience with breathtaking views of the coastline. This charming establishment has taken over from its predecessor and is easily accessible via the Campeole parking area along Giens road. Guests can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere as they settle in before dinner service begins, with friendly staff ready to take drink orders and provide excellent service.
Incredible view and atmosphere. The food was good and came out quickly. We were staying nearby so this was very convenient. The fish was perfect. The pasta was ok, the prawns was delicious. The desert was definitely the highlight 😅👌🏼🙌🏼 Would recommend for a post beach day dinner.

I have never im my life refused to pay a meal. I have ordered a fish 🐟 that was not cleaned from inside, the gut inside was covered by lemon and tomato. I didn't realized at all until I tried to cut it with the knife and it was not possible. 🐟🔪🚫 After I complied, the waiter took my plate and returned it after few minutes without head and vegetables that was served with the fish. Finally I had to return it and refused to get another meal. After I asked to pay, I got the bill with 3 meals my family had and my fish was there as well. After I complained the fish was removed from the bill. 🐟💲🫣

The nicest aspect of this restaurant is the location and the ambiente. It is directly on the beach ⛱️ and is nicely set up with a nice ambiente. The service people are very kind. A perfect Aperol spritz and good food with tiny room for improvement 👍

A really convincing and beautiful restaurant: you sit right on the beach with a perfect view. There is also nothing but good things to say about the service: we were there at 6pm and although the kitchen doesn't open until 7pm, we were allowed to choose a seat, order drinks and enjoy the beautiful location. The waiters were super fast, knew directly what we needed and were funny. We were served by two young men, one called Jonathan. But now to the most important thing: the food. It was simply unbelievably good. We had pizza, the chicken burger, pasta, dorade and salmon/beef tartare. I could write 100 words about what I liked about each of them, but in short: the pizza was perfect, nothing to complain about; the chicken burgers were exceptionally tasty; the tartare was the best I've had so far; the dorade with the vegetables was simply outstanding, super soft, super tasty, my wife was thrilled and the pasta was good. The food, the price and the ambience were just right. We'd love to come back!

Top notch! Great service and good and very friendly.

very disappointing allround. the menu was limited compared to 2 years ago, the catch and pasta of the day were only half warm, and missed flavour/seasoning. our table faced the wall of the restaurant instead of the sea, and staff did not want to move us to an empty table with a better view. after 15mins we had to ask to clear the table, and the chocolate coulant that came after was just a unevenly heated lava cake. very disappointing allround, overpriced even for the setting, and poor comparison to 2 years ago.

1h waiting time for very bad food (pizzas, because we thought that you cannot make it that bad). Burrata was kind of OKish. Best thing was the sun downer... Reading them...I honestly think there are lots of fake reviews.

The attentive staff is always on hand to recommend the perfect wine pairings for your meal. With comfortable seating and a refined ambiance, it’s an ideal spot for both casual dining and special occasions.
I had a black rice with octopus and squid at Vice Versa. The food was excellent, the white wine that staff recommended matched perfectly with the food. A nice and friendly place to eat in. Highly recommended.

We reserved and got confirmation 1 day ahead only for our reservation to be cancelled 1 hour before our time via text msg. You can't even reach them by phone. So good luck to us finding another restaurant at 7pm for our anniversary. Really sucks 👎
