The food here is 10/10 if you’re looking for delicious flavorful authentic Turkish dishes this is it. Plus the hospitality and service here is amazing. Everyone is every attentive and they were generous enough to bring us watermelon and tea for dessert for free. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Oh and there’s a lovely puppy who hangs out by the restaurant :) def plus

One of the best meals I had during this trip to Turkey was from here. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The wings, kebab and apple tea were absolutely incredible. The soup was just okay, but overall the food was excellent

Authentic food, no tourist trap, after reviewing so many Google reviews we tried this place. We tried Hummus - really good. Manti Turkish ravioli - delious and generous portions sizes. Lentil soup was delicious and they were generous with bread. They offered complimentary Salad and potato dish: both were delicious. We spent 950 Turkish Lira for 2 person, this has been so far the best experience in Turkey. We love to go there again. The staff were very welcoming accommodating.

The restaurant was so kind to offer us the small dishes on the house, and I really enjoyed the potato dish one. The price of pottery beef was much more reasonable than other restaurants, which was 750Lira. Besides, it made me feel like dining at a local place, instead of decorated but tourism places. A great recommendation from TAIWAN🙌

Very authentic restaurant with AMAZING food! We received complimentary mezzes, and the tea was excellent. The staff were very attentive and the food was well worth the price.

"Friends, I believe many of the reviews for this place may not be genuine. They present themselves as representing regional and Turkish culinary traditions, but unfortunately, the dishes don’t seem to be prepared in the authentic way. For instance, the ‘testi kebab’ is not actually cooked in a clay pot as the name suggests; it’s prepared in a regular casserole and only placed into a pot for presentation. When we asked, the staff confirmed this. The pot itself was spotless — showing it hadn’t been used for cooking. I find this disappointing because it misrepresents our rich food culture. I sincerely hope that the authorities will look into this so that our culinary heritage is properly protected and represented. You can tell what kind of place this is just by reading the reviews from foreigners — locals don’t come here at all.

Had to write this review twice as it seems they have two Google map accounts. The atmosphere is probably the only good thing about this place. Everything else was a mess. First, they brought us the wrong salad. Normally, that wouldn’t be a big deal—until you hear what followed. My wife asked for one tea. They brought two—something I now realize they do often (check other reviews). When I told the waiter we only ordered one, he looked me in the eye, smiled, took a sip of the tea, and walked away. I’m not making this up. Then we ordered the KİŞİLİK & ÜZERİ KARIŞIK IZGARA, meant for 3 or more people. What they brought us clearly looked like the portion for two. I compared it to photos and pointed this out. Instead of making it right, two different staff members argued and insisted it was the larger portion. Most people might give up at that point—I didn’t. And guess what? They automatically add a 10% service fee. I usually tip 20% when service is great. This wasn’t. To top it off, when I asked for a to-go box for the leftovers (because my wife barely touched her food after all this), they brought out a container so tiny it was almost insulting. I attached a photo—decide for yourself. Oh—and that wrong salad? I’m about 90% sure they just gave it to the table behind us. No joke. Had my wife not been there, I might’ve lost my temper. This place disrespected us at every turn. Don’t waste your money here. There are way better spots with honest service and way better food nearby. Their food is also very dry and mediocre.

We went for dinner. To begin, the floor was so dirty, I couldn’t believe the lack of cleaning. We stayed because the atmosphere looked nice. Later, the dishes we asked for, were not even similar to the picture on the menu, talking about size and presentation, they were small and they looked messy and careless. The size was even ridiculous. The plates arrive separately and there are kids working, they don’t even talk to you when they drop the food at the table, even a small, enjoy your dinner, or the other dishes are coming. Be careful with the pottery kebab. The fire sparks around.

My experience was somewhat disappointing. One main was undercrooked the other missing tomatoes . complimentary starters did not come with bread. Water bottles did not come with straws or glass. Overall worst meal experienced I had in Cappadocia

They add a salad that we didn't order in the bill so check your bill!! They said free dessert but they never serve it. Turkish lavioli is tasteless. Kofta is just edible.

The place seems nice and well-located, but our experience was not good. The menu displayed outside was misleading: for example, it listed eggs in certain dishes, but they were not included. Additionally, the combos did not match what was advertised, and they started bringing us items we never ordered (salad, dessert, water, tea), which were later charged separately, as if they were part of a combo. Unfortunately, after eating there, we felt unwell. I share this respectfully, as I think it’s a place with potential, but they should improve the clarity of the menu and customer service.

The service was terrible — it took them one hour to bring my meal and an additional 20 minutes just to take my wife’s order that they seemed to have not taken when ordering the first time. On top of that, when the bill came they tried to charge me for service fees (108 TL) that were never mentioned anywhere. The food we ordered did not match at all the pictures in the menu and are not worth the price we paid for.

Total CON!!! This is a tourist trap with sub par food. We got the bill and calculated to be 1000TL over. When we question the waiter on it he said that the bottle of wine says 3000TL not 2000TL. He basically charged us 3000TL for a bottle of standard red 75cl wine which equates to £58.00.It’s even on the menu outside they give you a glass of red wine 35cl for 300TL. Even if they served us 6 glasses of wine at 300TL at a standard of 12cl it still wouldn’t equate to 3000TL. What is this ya??? Chips were from frozen, Falafel was bland. We did not enjoy our food at all. Total rip off!!! WARNING Avoid at all cost.

The Adana had no flavor, was overcooked to the point of being tough, and the portion was very small despite being more expensive than other places. The salad vegetables weren’t fresh, though the orange juice tasted good. Overall, it was really overpriced.

We had dinner as a group of 8 at Cappadocia Pide House Restaurant. It’s a lovely place with delicious food at very affordable prices. We enjoyed it so much that we went two days in a row. The waiter was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and even performed a fun little show while serving the testi kebab, which made the experience extra special. Highly recommended!

One of the unique experiences in eating in Cappadicia is the food cooked in a pottery vase. The Host suggested the food was cooked for 6-8 hours making the beef/lamb very tender. Then once done, they bring it out to the table and cut the top off and steaming hot beef/lamb is poured onto your plate. However, the problem with this story is that the food was not cooked for hours in the pottery. It was luke warm on the plate. Thus, not original to the region. They did try to make it right and were very responsive to us so service was good!

I don't know what people really expect when going to such restaurants. Food was tasty and good, service was very fast and pleasant and although interior is not the most interesting one, it's pleasant for dining. Pottery kebab was delicious and their speciality is pide as the name of the place says, so we were overall very satisfied.

While visiting Cappadocia this place stood out for us, based on service alone. The staff were so warm and so welcoming, and remembered us even when we walked by in following days. We only tried a few variations of the Pide but were quite happy with it. Pricing was fair, portions were large, and everything tasted very fresh. Staff gave us complimentary tea and dessert. The service alone is what made me feel compelled to post a review.

The service was really good except for the Adana kebap that we ordered it took really long to get to our table but as soon as we tasted it we knew it was worth it. It was delicious. We also had lentil soup which was nice but not the best we’ve had. The pide we had was “the best pide i tasted” according to him. The fresh orange juice and pomegranate were fresh and tasty but with no ice. Over all it was a nice experience

The food and service is outstanding so much so that we ate here two nights in a row. Alad-din and his team go out of their way to make you comfortable. It can get busy so if you can, walk by during the day and reserve your table for the evening to ensure you get a spot at the window. The prices are a bit steep but I doubt you will find better food in the area so it's worth it. Over the two days, the dishes we tried included mushroom soup, warm hummus, halloumi salad, lamb chops, lamb shank, chicken breast with sauce, and crumbed eggplant. All were 10/10. If you are not that hungry then I suggest sharing a soup, salad and one main course between two people.

Great food, best view to the Uchisar castle and very friendly and kind service. We even went twice and had one evening the famous Turkish food cooked in a clay pot. The portions are big.

Great place to dine in the midst of beautiful scenic beauty . The service and food are both of high quality . We ordered the hot hummus, Lamb chops and Seabass . All were rated as stars of this restaurant. The service colleague was very helpful in deciding on the dishes and very courteous.

Amazing close-up view of the castle and countryside. Food was fantastic and very generous, the plates were huge. We had the lamb cutlets and the fish - prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Best food I've had in all of Turkey! We ordered the eggplant starter with yoghurt, mushroom soup, Asian marinated chicken, and Gozlama. All the dishes were out of this world! Our waiter was super friendly, helpful, and willing to explain each dish. It was a bit cold, so she offered blankets. The view was also nice. Highly recommend.

During our Cappacacia day tour they took us for lunch to this Turkish Han restaurant. It has huge parking and I guess it was built especially for tourist as they just kept arriving here non stop )) Just like in other tourist places they have buffet lunch and you just pay for the drinks. I liked this way of providing meals as it is easy and clear for both parties. Toilets are clean. Meals are delicious, options are not much available, but enough to be fed up. Overall, it was a good experience.

My recommendation is, don't eat here. Find another place or order takeout if you went with a travel agency and don't have transportation to go elsewhere. There's little variety of food, the food is tasteless, of everything I ate the only acceptable thing was the pasta, the desserts are weak and flavorless. Be very careful with the chicken, mine was practically raw inside. Luckily, I always like to check before eating and when I cut the chicken I saw it was undercooked, almost raw. I paid 400 TL. Basically, I only ate there to avoid starving, if I could go back in time, I wouldn't have gone in and I would have ordered food and eaten outside.

It was a very pleasant experience. We're from a small country, Cape Verde, so we were looking for a family-run business that could provide some warmth during our trip. The food was very good, with fresh ingredients (chili peppers from the backyard), and the staff was attentive and friendly.

We were taken to this place for lunch during our tour of Cappadocia. The restaurant offers a buffet with quite a number of items. Loved their salad and dessert section. The main course items were just okay. The ambience is clean, bright with an ample amount of sunlight coming in. The toilets were clean too. Though it was crowded with tourists, we didn't have to be in a queue for long as the buffet area is big. One can order beverages ( alocoholi & non- alcoholic) too ( At an extra cost). The things this place can improve on are: The staff could have been a bit more courteous and welcoming. The items in the main course could have been better.

A tour food stop. We stopped here for a late lunch as the other lunch restaurants couldn't accommodate our tour timing. This place certainly has variety. Food is constantly replenished and toilets were decently clean. As this place caters to tours, they do have enough place to fit large groups and still feel comfortable. Food quality wise was average.

Bole Et Mangal is a fantastic place for meat lovers! The quality of the meats is excellent and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. A nice bonus—they even have electric sockets, which is super convenient. My absolute favorite here is the kozde soğan sarımsak side dish—it pairs perfectly with the meats. We had 1kg Bolu Et Karışık, 250g Kuzu Kaburga, and another portion of Kuzu Kaburga. Everything was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. They also have complete facilities: clean toilets, a room to change a child’s diaper, separate male and female prayer rooms, and even an indoor children’s playground—making it a very family-friendly spot. To finish off, we had kaymaklı künefe, which was the perfect sweet ending to a delicious meal. Highly recommended!

As in most Turkish restaurants, once you come, they put an icy bottle of water on the table starting to open it. And as in most Turkish restaurants, they have no other drinks than icy sodas, coffee and tea. Don't take the "lemonade" - it's a powder. Chicken is good enough (2 photos) but nowhere mentioned that a portion is served with 7 plates of mezze. (So no need to take starters, mushrooms with cheese didn't taste fresh) That's horribly lots of wasted food that no table was able to finish! 2 of these mezze is spicy (not like Korean food but still burning), and I spent the next day in bed grunting from stomachache. Never in my life had such problems from food.

We love lamb!! This place make delicious lamb!! Chicken was also very tender. Especially recommend lamb leg. They gave a lot of free appetizers, not as good as their meat dishes but also good Highly recommend if you are in this area!

I really enjoyed the food when I ate here two years ago but the quality has declined since then. I had the mezes, yogurt, and Adana kebab, and none of them had much (good) flavor. Service is superb though.

The food was super tasty and fresh, and the staff were really friendly and spoke great English. The restaurant looks small from the outside but it’s actually very big inside, with plenty of seating. We got to sit on a cozy Turkish sofa-style area, which made the experience even better. Definitely worth checking out

We had dinner here in Göreme and absolutely loved it! 😍 We ordered the mixed meat platter for two, a salad, and some wine - everything was perfectly prepared. The meat was juicy and flavorful, the salad was surprisingly delicious (which is rare in Turkey!), and all the dips and side sauces were amazing 🙌🏼 The atmosphere was cozy, with nice music and friendly staff. Prices are very reasonable - much lower than in typical tourist spots, but the quality is way better. We'll definitely come back again! ❤️

I definitely agree with google's 4.9 grade! Fried potato's texture and salty was very nice and the wings, It's really nice taste. Turkish manti was also nice. I regret why I didn't have lamb chops here... Atmosphere of restaurant was good wherever inside and outside~ Very kindness employees. Please enjoy your meal here for dinner or lunch. Don't be fooled by the restaurants on the main street.

Your girl from Kansas City, MO here to tell you that this is THE place to go to for kebabs. We got the Adana Kebab and the Kayseri Mantisi — delicious. You can taste the freshness and all the flavor. I’ve traveled around the world and have tried various kebabs from great spots but this was hands down the best and worth the review. Totally deserves its rare rating. Bekir is the owner and incredibly kind, gracious, and blessed our experience. He even brought us out some Turkish tea to try! Definitely stop by and see for yourself (and say hey to Bekir)! ❤️

We loved it here. The portions were a great size if you’re hungry. If you just want a light lunch then you can probably share. They give you lots of salad and flat bread complimentary. Food quality was really high and very delicious. We had lunch here and came back for dinner.

Yes please! I got the beef in pottery, everything about it was amazing. They brought a free mezz while I waited consisting of 6 mixed plates and bread then the meal came out and, it was so cool to watch them crack the pottery and there were pretty epic, but controlled flames. Then it came to the table and it was absolutely delicious, usually after the big show the meal is a let down, not here, the best meal I had in Cappadocia, heck, the best in Turkey.

I finally decided to trust reviews , in help choosing my food tonight. Can I say it was the best food I’ve ever had no, but it was a good solid meal , which sometimes is all you can ask for. So, would I say come to this place and have a meal , yes. The food was tasty , came out in 30 minutes but was cooked in a clay pot, so some grace there, but over all a very solid meal.

I had fun. The show was what it had to be, a simple (yet very skilled dancers), friendly for everyone to enjoy and understand, quite entertaining. You only got popcorn, peanuts and fruit slices so you better had a good lunch before going there. Since drinks are unlimited, service is sluggish. They really should have some staff around to prevempt the public interfering with the show, the guys that jumped into the scenario to put money in the belly dancer bra were disgusting, disrespectful for the dancer and everyone else there and should be stopped.

Dancers were great. The musicians, especially the guy in the drum ( sorry not sure of the proper name for it) was fabulous. The belly dancers was good but she just went in and on and on for too long... a bit boring by the end of it 😴 Food was average and service ok. Wine was terrible. Unfortunately the dancers had their backs to us all night so if you get a bad table the experience isn't the best.

The event was truly an immersion into top-tier entertainment. The atmosphere was both inviting and well-curated, making it a perfect backdrop for the stellar performances we witnessed. Every act was meticulously executed, showcasing talent and dedication. However, while the ambiance and entertainment were a hit, the culinary aspect was a bit of a letdown. Even though there wasn't any commitment to providing a full dinner, the expectation was at least a varied range of appetizers. But all we got were some basic fruits and nuts. Given that the show spanned two hours, it felt like a missed opportunity not to offer attendees a more diverse and satisfying selection of goodies.

We had an overall okay time. There were some points that were just weird. Instead of it being more Turkish dancing, at times it felt like a strip club with women dancing for tips in their bras. Overall wouldn’t recommend.

This is the type of food you won’t find out about until you ask locals. Best Adana kabap I’ve had in turkey so far! John was very nice and gave us great service! It’s next to a gas station but it’s a huge restaurant and is very elegant! Service is great, and salad is super fresh!!! It’s all locals eating there so you know it’s gas!!

Our family of 10 was on a road trip from Istanbul to Cappadocia and stopped at this hidden gem of a restaurant on the way, based on our driver’s recommendation — and we’re so glad we did! 🚨 Don’t come if you are a tourist Located adjacent to the petrol station, similar to a fast food joint. We were charged 600 TLR for an okay Adana kebap, and 450 TLR for an okay cheese pide. Sides are complementary but don’t really suit our tastes. Had much better food for that price point. Place was filled with locals, which I suspect had a different price point than we did. Cheese pide was the only vegetarian option.

Someone from a carpet shop recommended us this place for lunch and we have been very surprised for the quality, quantity and the good food. I really recommend this restaurant, the staff were also very friendly

Nice experience with a simple breakfast. Especially young student guests were impressive.

Great food, the breakfast was delicious and generous. The borek was a nice surprise as don’t often it for breakfast. The walnuts jam was unexpected, sweet, soft and crunchy. The highlight of the breakfast was the katmer. It was filled with pistachio and kaymak. We liked it so much we asked for extra.

A wonderful place we stumbled upon by chance while returning from Göreme. A wide variety of breakfasts—both Turkish and continental. I also really liked the fresh orange juice; I recommend it.

The ambience is good. Music a bit annoying I realize it is a 5 star.restaurant but prices are still high for small portions of tender though mediocre meat with little to no acompanaments. The part that really got me angry is they charged 100 lira.almost $3 a glass for what apeared.to be tap water , which we never even asked for. Also, only place in Turkey I have gone to where they added a service charge without asking. Only reason we went there because it.was closest restaurant to our hotel.in a snow storm, and supposedly had good rating. I wouldnt reccomend it to anyone.

Food is great if you know what to get - atmosphere outstanding. Service is the worst for a 5 star place an embarrassing. Came 2 years ago and was great they also changed the chef. Come for drinks at the bar or light bites but not to be served. Note not accessible friendly no elevator.

This restaurant is 100% deserving of 1 star - it was so terrible that it became enjoyable to experience how bad the meal was. We ordered a bottle of wine, asked about it multiple times, and it came 20 minutes later after appetizers (and we were the only people in the restaurant!). Half of the menu options we tried to order were unavailable. The food was tasteless; like it was multiple days old and reheated. We stopped halfway through and said cancel the rest of the order, we couldn’t eat any more of it. The wait staff was confrontational and demanded that we pay for the items we cancelled. Everything was very overpriced. AND the cherry on top of this awful dining experience, there were multiple cats in the dining room making loud meows and rubbing on our legs throughout the meal - this is after telling the wait staff that I am allergic to cats and asked if they could remove the cats from the dining room. This is by far the worst dining experience I have ever had. It’s impressive how bad it was.

We tried Kuzu Nevşehir tava and it was very delicious we had it with roasted garlic side together with the other mezze and bread served all were tasty. However I found the price extremely high (one portion was around 850tl). The staff were friendly and the restaurant was well organized and clean.

The restaurant and its service are good, also the main dish was well cooked and delicious (especially the fresh bread). Only the location was a bit confusing, as the restaurant is located in the industrial area of the city, also the parking spots are limited in front of the place.

We made a mistake to try Testi Kebap and Nevsehir tava in Goreme and in touristic parts. We are glad to visit Tavaci Mustafa in Nevsehir city and this changed all our opinions about it. They prepared an amazing delicious meat casserole and served with mushrooms with melted cheese and as well garlic casserole which is like cream after its oven cooked. %100 recommended to try and avoid those expensive, non tasty restaurants in touristic spots. Located in a random area, but the food was so amazing. The service was exceptional they even helped us with parking. I would recommend the kebab that is cooked in the clay pot, we kept ordering more of it!

One of my favorite meals so far. Best bread I’ve had in Turkey, fresh homemade Ayran, their Nevsehir Tava which is much much better than any Testi kebab I’ve had, and a delish local dessert called Çigleme.

Perfect! Staffs served carefully for customers. Tava costs tr40~60, pide costs tr10~20. Delicious.

We arrived to Nevsehir around 20 and since most of the restaurants closed at 9 pm we chose the first of the list via maps. It was a great choice. Inside, no one spoke English, without saying anything we were brought a variety of meze and roast meat, and fresh ayran, all really good! We filled up with only 50TL in two! Awesome!

The service was poor from start to finish, with little attention to our group’s needs. On top of that, the music was so loud that we couldn’t hold a proper conversation. Nothing about the atmosphere or the food felt authentic, and the entire evening was deeply disappointing. The setting of Yemeni Restaurant is a cave, dug into a typical Cappadocian rock, which makes it a genuine space for what follows: traditional Anatolian dances and rituals, performed by professional artists, dressed accordingly to the piece they play, visual shows and delicious Turkish dishes (testi kebab and meze). The staff was very attentive and polite. Everything was clean and neat, and Mr. Ramadan made sure the guests felt more than comfortable, passing by each table and taking care of everyone. It was a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere, so we didn't feel how the time passed by, A must-try experience!

We came here as a group of 17 and it was, hands down, the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. The wait was absurdly long, and when food finally appeared, most of it was stone-cold and utterly inedible. The staff couldn’t keep track of orders — we were asked multiple times what we had ordered, as if no one in the kitchen or on the floor had a clue. In the end, nearly everyone in our group left their plates untouched. This place is a masterclass in how not to run a restaurant. Save your time, your money, and your appetite — go literally anywhere else.

I am not sure why this place has got so many good reviews. The atmosphere of the place is good but food is pathetic. I have never experienced this kind of tasteless food in Turkey anywhere. Service is still fine but prices are way too high for the taste and portion they are providing. 800 Lira per item is way too high and I expected a good portion but it is as small as we can imagine. Anyways skip this restaurant if you can. But these guys are tied to the tour guides and they take you to this restaurant without any option if you have booked any day tours with lunch in cappodocia.

We were walking around Goreme for 20 mins looking for a good place to eat with reasonable price. Everything is expensive here but this restaurant gives authentic food at a good price. I recently visited this place and unfortunately, my experience was not as enjoyable as I had hoped. While the food was decorated very nicely and the waitress was lovely and polite, the food itself was below my expectations. The bread was cold and hard, and the dishes lacked the delicious taste I had been hoping for. Additionally, we had to wait for 30 minutes for our food to be ready despite there being no other customers in the restaurant at the time. Overall, while the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the service was good, the quality of the food was a letdown for me. As we were hungry we hurried to this beautiful place for dinner, located at the center of Goreme. The ambience is lively, bright and so cozy. The service was really good and fast. The staff were courteous and so welcoming. We ordered Manti which is a ravioli with minced meat and meat skewers. Both the dishes were top notch. The quantity served justifies the price too The place also serves alcoholic beverages and has quite a variety of beers. Overall, a great place to go for dinner.

The food here is amazing. The chicken and steak are cooked to perfection over coals and are so savory and tender that my wife proclaimed it's "the best thing she's ever eaten". Fantastic place which we found driving from Pamukkula to Cappadocia. Stopped they were full because of Ramandan and Iftar breaking fast. My burger came cold and dry, it was overcooked but more it seem like it's old, it was not worth the price and after I said it's cold they just heat it and bring back same plate. What a gem! This family-owned spot (run by mom, dad, and sister) is exactly the kind of place I love finding when traveling. I came for the Turkish ravioli (manti) and was completely blown away. So flavorful and comforting. I also ordered their pesto pasta, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The fried garlic topping was such a thoughtful, delicious touch that I couldn’t resist ordering a second plate. Everything tastes truly home-cooked, and you can feel the care in every dish. Reasonable price. Smoked Meat Spaghetti is so good, the meat is crispy, heavy cheese flavour. Turkish Ravioli is the tradition dish called manti, mini dough filled with minced meat, each ravioli is so tiny, can see a lot of work there. yogurt and garlic source is sour like thai tong yum soup, quite refreshing. Had magnolia for dessert, it’s basically yogurt with almonds and peach, nice. Love the staff here, and the dog Max, so friendly.

Horrific experience. I very seldom write bad reviews and overall go to places which do have them. So very meticulous in my research. My mom and I went to have a dinner after a long day. There was a kebab ordered and a couple of starters, plus vine. Having been only a half way (HALF) through our meal we went to have a look at sunset, having our bags left at the table , obviously haven’t paid and had plenty of food on the plates. We were absent for around 4-5 minutes (pictures of the sunset are an evidence) , came back to the table… to find out that it was completely cleaned and set up anew , like we were never there!!! The shock we had is hard to describe. The waiter was extremely apologetic , they offered us to cook everything again. Or to have whatever we pick from the menu as a compensation. Good or drinks. We asked for tea and we took a bit of time to think about it, because we are not into deserts neither wanted to wait about hour for food to be cooked. Therefore I asked for 2 extra glasses of wine and 1 starter. When bill arrived , the second wave of shock comes. Nothing besides tea was excluded from the bill. Nothing else! we came here on the recommendation of our accommodation which is 2 mins away. Great family run restaurant with really friendly owner and his wife and kids. Loved the vibes, the access to a beautiful sunset view, and really great food. The beef testi kebab we had was super amazing and we even learnt how to crack it open ourselves. We loved our time here and it felt like we were being hosted like guests in a home.

Amazing spot! Hidden well away from the main roads but so worth the trip. We are staying at a hotel nearby and were driven to this restaurant. At first we were hesitant because when we got there, there were a few customers. After ordering though, we quickly understood how amazing their food is. Not only the food was amazing but also their hospitality and service. Such friendly and simply kind people! Loved chatting with them and really loved the atmosphere. Truly recommend this place, so if you’re nearby, go and have a truly amazing Turkish meal. We chose to stay in Nar for a quiet finish to our holiday, and we were delighted to find such an excellent restaurant within a few minute's walk of our hotel. We went twice. The first time was for a late lunch, and a wedding party was in progress. We expected to be turned away, but were instead welcomed onto a covered terrace from where we could watch proceedings while sampling some fine dishes. We even received a slice of wedding cake! The next evening, we came back for dinner. We both chose vegetarian dishes, and everything was exceptionally good, being both flavoursome and fresh. The highlight was the opening and serving of the clay pot kebab, a Cappadocian speciality. The owner, Sena, runs the restaurant with the professionalism one would expect from someone who taught restaurant management for several years before opening Nora Garden Restaurant, and naturally her staff have received excellent training (we learnt this detail when she kindly drove us back to our hotel after dinner). Overall, this was the best vegetarian cooking we tasted during our 15 days in Turkey.

For those of you that are dining out in Cappadocia, a lot of restaurants and cafes can be large tourist traps with food that tastes sub-par and in some establishments have food standards that are even on the verge of inedible. This is NOT one of those places. Throughout our time in Cappadocia, we dined at over 6 different spots and this by far is the best restaurant we have been to in the area. We ordered a Turkish breakfast spread which cost us 1200 Turkish Lira, an incredibly affordable price for the sheer amount of items we received. The pastries were amazing, the cheeseboard was incredibly flavorful, and the pepper jam was a personal favorite! Not only this, our waiter Enes, was incredibly professional, personable, and kind. He made great recommendations and did an amazing job serving our table. The service here was impeccable, the ambience is beautiful, and sidenote, the bathrooms were amazingly clean and actually felt like I was in a 5 star Hotel. This is a new place but I would 100% recommend this establishment and will be coming back the next time I’m in town!

We came all the way from Erbil – Iraq, and Hasan Chef Restaurant was truly worth it! We were 3 people and couldn’t decide which burger to try, so they kindly offered to cut 3 different burgers in half for us to taste: the Double Burger, Hasan Chef Burger, and Keyif Burger. Honestly, the Double Burger and Hasan Chef Burger were incredible – full of flavor! The Keyif Burger was good but more classic. We also ordered 3 desserts: San Sebastian, Tiramisu, and the amazing Çıtır Profiterole – which we absolutely loved and highly recommend! We wanted to take a photo with Hasan Chef – such a kind and genuine person – and even though he wasn’t there at first, he came just for us. That really meant a lot. Lovely cozy and cute little restaurant in the heart of Uchisar. It’s a family run restaurant with delicious food. The food is traditional Turkish food with some western options. Food was flavourful and delicious! We also had traditional desert which was lovely. Wonderful and they were so welcoming. If you’re looking for a cute friendly and delicious local restaurant I can highly recommend this. It’s a small restaurant with only 6 tables, largest one sitting four, so just be aware if larger group but otherwise very cute and quaint which goes with the family run business side to it. Prices also very good.
