Where to eat: the 50 best restaurants in Roseto Degli Abruzzi

My partner and I stumbled upon it by chance, during a trip between north and south and I must admit that I never imagined being able to have such an excellent lunch. 5 stars and it deserves them all! I had been targeting it for some time, but it's not always easy to find a place and now I understand why! Friendly and pleasant service, excellent and pleasantly plated food, perfect location facing the sea.

Very nice food but a bit too hectic

Possible the best sea food restaurant around Roseto. Always packed and for good reason. We had to reserve two weeks in advance for a Wednesday evening in August. They use only fresh, locally caught fish, so not everything on the menu, specifically secondi, is available. However the quality of the anti pasti and primi is really something else. Especially the pasta was Michelin star worthy. Service good, wine list good and also locally focused. The desserts were also a pleasant highlight. All in all very good quality for a reasonable price. Only downside would be no easy dishes for children. Absolutely recommended.

No vegan nor veggie option

One of the best seafood restaurants I have been to. Cold plates, pan fried, deep fried, just enjoy every fish dish they give you. Right in front of the Marina, so take a long walk after you injested all that fish. Enjoy it!!

They dont speak english, Slow ordering, when I asked for english menu they gave me wines. But to be fair food was good and Basic wine was okey

Wow! Big, I mean giant surprice. Pizza simply the best I have ever eat during my several travels to Italy. Homemade desert (6 of 5*), excelent coffee, calm nice place out of beach traffic (but not far), staff very kind to children, anytime you may need them come right in the moment, speaking perfect english, whats pretty rare in this area. Dont waste your money and time visiting classic "ristorante" of your hotel with rude waiters and overpaid primi piatti. Recommended!

This is one of our favorite go to place when in Roseto. They have the best pizza, that is a fact. The arrosticini, they are the best too especially now that they added salt during grilling (the past times I was here, arrosticinis were not salted and it wasn’t great). The normal arrosticini are soft but my favorite are the arrosticini fegato. They are so tender and I can say they were not frozen prior to cooking. Also they have vegan option for pizzas and desserts (I had crema catalana veg and it was great!). Service is ok.

My favourite place for arrosticini! I’m not a big fan of the classic ones (made by castrated/lamb meat), and they have the chicken ones as an alternative, and I think that they are far better than anything else! Cozy place, nice outdoor space during summer but food wise quality is always there all-year around. Can’t wait to come back again

I was shocked on how horrible this location is and how awful the service was at this place. We booked a gazebo and paddleboards online. We ate here, the food was okay. The beach is awful, it’s a rocky beach next to a drain, the water is disgusting. There is so many other places along this beach, I recommend going anywhere but here. We arrived and I asked to use the paddleboards in the evening, an employee told us that would be okay. Once we asked to use the 2 paddleboards we paid for, they said “they didn’t have paddleboards”, and gave us a time limit that was under the full hour, that WE PAID for. They gave us ONE paddleboat for 40 minutes, the staff refused to get the paddleboards… they were tucked away. We asked for a refund and they refused to give us one. Just lazy and rude staff here. We have been travelling over Italy for about a month now, and this was BY FAR the WORST service we have received this past month. I was extreme disappointed by this business, and we still didn’t get a refund for this issue.

Really nice place, at the bottom of what looks like a narrow, characteristic city alley. The place has a distinctive look to it, the staff is kind and - what matters to most - pizza is good. It will make for a nice evening, although there is nothing that stands out enough to make it memorable.

We had difficulties finding the access road with the car, as it is no asphalt road. But if you arrive on the gravel-dirtroad, you're right on track.

When we arrived after a long drive, we were told that there was no table for us and claiming that a second confirmation message was sent via WhatsApp which we didn’t receive. This is definitely a one star rating not a one star Michelin restaurant as it was very hard for the owner to even accept responsibility which at the end she did. I don’t know about the food and the atmosphere, but with a service and a reception like this I don’t know how the one Michelin star can be justified.

It was a nice experience. Dining area was underground and you get to pass the kitchen area with chefs working on the way down. The service was impeccable, the staff were very nice and knowledgeable, explained everything as the course progressed and the wine pairing was EXCELLENT and VERY generous. We went here to try because it’s a spanish place. We came on a Flamenco night which by the way was awesome. 👌 It made the vibe chill and cheery. Also the place was pretty and elegant. The food was great, except the bit of burnt rice on my paella. Guess it’s from the thin pan they use and serve it with. Hope they change that in the future. But overall, everything that we ordered were top. As for the price, it’s on the pricey side.
