Where to eat: the 50 best restaurants in Corby

Typical chain restaurant / pub... normal decor to the rest of the chain, nothing particularly special. Food and drinks are quite expensive, wouldn't eat here unless I had a money saving voucher, which seem quite frequent this time of year. I had a "fillet" steak, it wasn't the worst I have ever eaten, but definitely nowhere near the best either, it wasn't far off a rump. The "skin-on" chips were disappointing, more like oven chips you can do at home. The beef off the bone was better, and the potato wedges were "unusual". As all places, drinks were expensive and not a great choice of beer really. We were there early and the staff were friendly, it soon got busy (due to the bogof promotion I presume), so I did feel sorry for them as they were probably short-staffed.

We have been coming to Oakley Hay Beefeater for years now, mainly for breakfast. We have come as a couple, with the kids and with family and friends and every time it's always been fantastic service and lovely food. We usually deal with James who is always nothing but helpful, friendly and as we've been coming for that long we always have friendly banter with him, he's become apart of the whole reason we visit as often as we do, fantastic guy! The restaurant is clean and tidy, the whole team are amazing and we've never had a bad meal! It's out favourite place to go for breakfast. 😊

This is our second visit to this restaurant. We booked again as we had such a pleasant experience on our first visit, our waitress was very congenial and the food was of good quality. I was relieved that I had booked as it was exceptionally busy and a few people were turned away. I recommend that you prebook to guarantee a table. Our second visit didn’t disappoint either, we arrived early for our booking so that we could have a drink in the garden. We were shown to our table and our server, Rachael was excellent from the offset. She was very welcoming and advised what wasn’t available and reconfirmed our order, ensuring that all our dietary requirements were met. She was consistent in her service to us throughout our meal, ensuring that we had sufficient drinks and time to choose. We didn’t feel rushed and the atmosphere was refreshingly relaxed. When we came to pay she asked if we had any vouchers, which by chance my sister had which saved us 25% off of our bill. Thank you Rachael for your wonderful service! This is a fabulous restaurant and all of the staff here are lovely and very hard working. Beefeater you are lucky to have such wonderful staff!

Had a rump steak, medium rare. Not impressed all gristle and sinew. It's not hard to dress a beef cut. I'm very disappointed and a waste of £17... You must do better than we don't trim the meat. We just cook it. I thought it was all about attention to detail served from the grill. Very low down on my list of Beefeaters, and I go to many throughout the country on my travels.

Stopped for a quick bite on our journey. Did good and the service from Rachel was great. Such a warm, friendly lady. Nothing was too much trouble! Thank you, Rachel!

James gave outstanding service this morning, as no vegan sausages or bacon was out he got them ordered and brought them over to the table. You can see James takes customer service seriously and setting an example for the team to follow. Was very busy this morning and James was multi tasking and taking on many roles to ensure the service was provided.

We had a family lunch here today. We found all the food to be really well cooked and presented and the staff were really friendly. This is not cheap eats but we felt the quality justified the cost. We will return when we’re next in the area.

We have been a few times now for the steak night. Yet again the food was amazing and reasonably priced. We were served by Grace who was friendly and happy to help with any questions. We will be back :)

The restaurant's environment was pretty good and the waiters were efficient. The food was ok; let's say that the food was quite average.

Firstly it’s always a good idea to book in advance for your Sunday carvery, especially when it’s a cold or wet day out as it gets busy. Secondly, even though it was busy the service was decent, fairly quick and Flo was attentive throughout. The food was good and being a carvery you can help yourself to all the trimmings, which are constantly being refreshed. Pricing is good, deserts can be a little pricey if you can fit one in. Drinks are also reasonable and the red wine selection small but very well chosen.

The carvery has gone down hill since I last went. Everything used to be fresh and homemade. Frozen broccoli, could tell the cauliflower cheese was also frozen with some grated cheese on. Meat was okay but port and turkey very dry. The roast potatoes were awful, tasted like reheated microwave one. Everything had no taste… carrots and parsnips were home made but no garlic or honey on them. The Yorkshire pudding was a small frozen one. Stuffing was tasteless. £47 for 2 Pepsi max and 2 carvery’s. I wouldn’t go back… very disappointed as it used to be such good food and didn’t mind paying the extra for home made. Really disappointed - in and out in half an hour on a Sunday afternoon.

We booked a last minute dinner tonight and the service by Grace was very efficient and very welcoming. Such a lovely girl The food was absolutely delicious and I can highly recommend going here for a lovely cosy meal. Thanks again and we look forward to returning 😊

We were a large table so had to wait a while for the food (understandable) but definitely worth the wait, prices were good and food was lovely, we had a mix of dishes and everyone one was more than happy with everything when it came. Was my daughters birthday and they made her very happy when they sang happy birthday to her, we shall definitely return.

Lovely carvery, didn't have the Dauphinoise potatoes this time which was a shame, they were so much nicer than the Mac and cheese we had tonight. Service was great from the lad serving the carvery and from our server too. Also gluten free options for my partner which is a big plus

Visited Royal Tandoori on the spur of the moment on Friday night. We were made very welcome by Maria and Rocky. We were served papdams and drinks promptly. We didn't order off the menu, just asked Rocky to surprise us with his favourites. The dansak was heavenly, the biryani very fragrant and the sag bhajee was just perfect with the right amount of garlic and spice. Excellent service was provided by the lovely waitress, Maria. Very highly recommended

Takeaway. Food was so delicious. So much flavour. Huge portion, well worth the money. Delivery was prompt and good was jot when it arrived. Really happy and will be ordering again.

Amazing food and service! We went for a family dinner and everything was spot on—the staff were friendly and the service was quick. The food was full of flavour and the portions were big enough that we had leftovers. We also got a takeaway from them recently and it was just as good. Easily the best Indian in Corby!! 😋

Visited on Sunday evening. It was fairly quiet but the atmosphere and the staff were great. Maria was very helpful and served my papadams and drinks promptly. Rocky recommended the Mirpuri Chicken and Daba Da Gosht from the casual fine dining menu.. presentation was 10 out of 10 and the taste was heavenly. Finished off with pistachio kulfi. Very highly recommended 👌

Order home delivery took 2 attempts for my card rude and the lady did not even know what was on the menu said 1 hour an half ok it went well over that chicken over cooked sauce and chicken cold spent £40 only got 2popadoms over all never again think it might have new owners never experienced this b4 but won’t be going back ever waste of money

If you're ready for a relaxing food focused meal, then this is your place. Staff very pleasent and professional. But the food is wonderful. Don't be in a rush to eat, this is about fresh food, cooked to order and extremely tasty. The chef clearly loves what he does, so kick back and enjoy the food. Lovely decor. Also lovely toilets too.

Starter and main dish are delicious. We didnt try the dessert hence no comment on that. Staffs are friendly. Spacious seating area. Nice clean toilet.

Visited this place as part of a work’s team dinner. We were a group of , there was a good offer on the wine, the food took some time even bread boards came along with the starters when I was expecting them to come out quicker. The mushroom starter was delicious and so was the aubergine & zucchini lasagne. Food tasted great and we had a good time, staff were very polite & took good care of us.

Looks lovely , went here at 12, very quiet, only one lady working tables. I informed her i had a dairy intolerance so she helped me pick out their dairy free meals. Unfortunately my stomach still got upset! Whikst eating we noticed she disnt clear our menus or the glasses that were on thw table (not sure why there were empty glasses on thw table) & i had to get up to tell her we wanted the bill because she was too busy chatting with a manager (who as on her laptop). My friend ordered the profiteroles but she said it had barely any flavour. Unfortunately some of the menu qasnt avaliable because they were updating it...

Wonderful experience. Would recommend the mezze sharing experience. We got the 9 set between three of us and was more than enough! Also check out the happy hour buy one get one free cocktails! Great night and great live music.

Had a New Year’s Day done in. Place was very busy on this evening and even though there was a lack of staff everything was great! Staff was very friendly and quick. I had a lasagna which was very tasty and warm. Good portion size. Also a bowl of chips, again good size and fresh. The only think which I do not recommend is garlic bread/pizza from kids menu.

Wouldn't recommend unfortunately. I have vast experience Prezzo restaurants having been a contractor to them nationwide for number of years. Food was very poor . Chips were not cooked fully. Service was appalling. Asked 3 times for the bill before standing up to leave prompted them. No evidence of disinfection at all. Social distancing was not adhered to. Guests entering in were led past diners eating. One pair of ladies entered and led past with neither wearing masks. Layout is shocking for covid protection. Very disappointed as can honestly say I could have eaten at weatherspoons for half the price. Service is far better. Quicker . Efficient and professional. Honestly go to The crown . Menu is better. Cheaper. Quality is superior when it's a pub not a restaurant. Really disappointed and won't eat at Prezzo restaurants ever again

Inviting, clean and friendly place however food was of poor quality. I had lasagna which had watery consistency and my husband's tagliatelle was tasteless. Shame as dishes were well presented, our waitress was lovely and polite and place had a welcoming feel. I would never recommend their food. More like ready made meals. 😔

They do not accept cash. Horrible customer service right from the start. The waiter had some horrible hygiene issue (B O smell) so much so that we avoided asking for drink refills as his smell was very revolting. When I asked for a small fork for my 5 yr old son we were made me feel like I was asking for heaven on earth. I ordered one of the most expensive pizza on the menu and there where hardly any toppings on it and lots of crust. As an overall we spent around £70-£80 and left wishing that we went next door to Nandos instead.

The Vegan menu options were disappointing. It felt like an afterthought - Bland and tasteless - pale beige. The vegan chicken pieces were the worst plant-based meat I have yet experienced. Expensive let down unfortunately.

I had organised a dinner here for 20 people and had supplied the restaurant with a preorder for the group. The service was amazing and all the food came out in good time . Well done to Prezzo Corby team.

Terrible food and terrible prices. Burnt lasagne for 3 out of the 4 orders of our party, asked If they served milk shakes as my youngster wanted something other than a fruit shoot. Was brought a small flavoured milk carton. And when I say a small carton I mean smaller than a credit card size. A, flavoured milk boxes and a milk shake aren't the same thing. Wouldn't have ordered if i had been informed. However the serving staff were genuinly polite and pulled the score up slight.

Had a lovely meal here, the food is really tasty and big portions. I had the mixed grill and all the meat was cooked well,and had plenty of flavour. The roast potatoes could have been crisper, but made up for it on beautiful rosemary flavours. Staff were helpful, and really attentive but also didn't bother or hurry us which was pleasant. We had 3 courses and cocktails, but thought it was pretty good value for money.

Group of 8 3 ordered Risotto, basically tasted like boiled soggy rice . No sign of any base ingredients onion, carrots definitely forgot to put any STOCK in ,just water! Definitely did not not stir in any parmesan in the final prep so just basically tasted like wallpaper paste with a few pees chucked in. One steak available order medium rare. Steak was cooked throughout and absolutely no sign of it ever hitting a sizzling hot pan. It was a grey colour as if it had been drained of all blood before cooking. 4 of the five meals totally disastrous.

Our first visit to this restaurant was 5 years ago and then we really liked the atmosphere and the cuisine. At this time we didn't feel the cute atmosphere. The restaurant needs modernization, modern renovation of the premises, kitchen and toilet. The furniture looks old and not fresh. The hood in the kitchen does not work well, as all the smoke from the grill or oven ended up in the hall. I want more coziness and a modern style interior. The cuisine was not bad, but not top. Red wine brightened up our evening. It was really delicious. The tiramisu dessert was artificial, not homemade at all. The staff was friendly and nice.

Partner 75th birthday. She had salmon with roast potatoes & vegetables & I had Italian chicken skewers. Both meals were excellent good service & reasonably priced none alcohol peroni & tia Maria coffee finished the meal.have been going for years .always excellent

I went in as a solo diner on a Saturday evening and there were no issues at all. I've been to a number of locations of the 'Lounges' group and they are all brilliant. The food was amazing, the atmosphere lovely, and I didn't feel like I was out of place.

Update: lovely to see this place open up again. Excellent systems in place for hygiene etc including QR code ordering from phone, more space between tables, single use menus etc. Lovely food as always - lunchtime this visit was busy but not too long to wait. Excellent tapas - halloumi bites, mini tacos. All round great vibe! Great place for food and drink whatever the day. Visited on a Friday night, very lively but staff welcoming, great service and fantastic menu choices - tapas is lovely. Enjoy!

Quirky bar meets Mexican diner. Food is hot and fresh and portions were a good size. Menu is varied to suit most appetites, music was a little loud but that's just my opinion. Staff were pleasant and friendly, drinks were ready quickly and food was out piping hot in less than 10 minutes. We went around 4pm and it was not too busy.

Very quiet on the Sunday night I visited, which was a shame because it makes the atmosphere a little sombre. Enjoyed a very good Brixton ale, though.

Food took an absolute age to get here Maybe someone could explain "reconstituted " chicken and beef (as described) I mean I fed mine to the dog and she "reconstituted" it I understand that but what was the meat before it was reconstituted?? Or from what was it reconstituted and frankly why bother?? Maybe shouldn't be described as chicken or beef?? The prawn were real (both of them) and the onion was real and made up 40% of the meal oh! And of course the price (£50) was real maybe I got plastic chicken and beef cuz I didn't pay cash🤔

I have just recently moved to the area and this is the best chinese by far! We ordered last Saturday night and the food was ready within 15 minutes, the quality of the food was excellent and the price was very reasonable too!

I personally would like to speak to the owner This restaurant I had been recommended between me and my family. We spent over £200. The food was disgusting. I personally wouldn’t give it to my dog and I wouldn’t like very much to talk to the owner to discuss my bindings.

I went out for dinner with a friend last week and I am pleased to say that our experiences were great! The service was very good, the food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful to us. We will definitely be coming back there again and thank you to the staff for their great hospitality!

We walked in and tried to sit outside. But the staff said tables were not cleaned, so we had to sit inside. When our appetiser arrived, she forgot to give us cutlery or napkins. When they served us the main, they still haven't brought us the cutlery, which i had to ask for it. The food was great, very nice, fresh, delicious, place was good, but they had to work on staff she looked like she doesn't want to be there

Food was lovely and fresh. The chicken was especially juicy and may have stolen a customer from their next door neighbour. The staff and atmosphere were very warm and welcoming. Can't wait to come again!

Previously ordered quesadilla which came in a flat square box, this time arrived in a burger box all squashed and leaking out. Burger came with a free addition of human hair, long thin brown hair, sure wasn't mine as mine is curly and black. Absolutely disgusting, slapped together food. Last time I had an problem, I was expected to drop the food back in myself, that was 2 years ago. never again will I order from this place. Standards seem to be non existence.

The tacos were extremely dry and had no toppings apart from one lettuce shred and outdated cheese.

If I could I would put a minus 1 star. I'm a regular customer and found a hair in my food I spoke with staff just to politely let them know and was told the kitchen staff would be spoken to I was hesitant to order with them again however I placed a second order only to find a dead fly in my food to be told the manager is happy for me to request a refund. Absolutely disgusting.

Had to give a one star just to leave a review my rating is zero!! Ordered £70 worth of food 2x chicken balls but asked for one portion to come with curry sauce instead of sweet and sour delivery came with only curry sauce called the restaurant and was told I could wait an hour for the sweet and sour sauce to be delivered or on my next order I would get the sauce free!! Explained I live 3 minutes away I’ll come get the sweet and sour sauce, was then told to bring the curry sauce with me so they could exchange!! Which I did but why ask for the extra sauce to come back are you actually giving that to another customer? Which is alarming in its self anybody could of done anything to that sauce and you were quite happy to take it back not very hygienic or professional will not be using your restaurant/ takeout again A Shitty little apology which wasn’t heartfelt at all staff didn’t actually care Be careful what you order as you may get other people’s not wanted items If it leaves the restaurant it shouldn’t go back!! Again you haven’t got one star this is a zero star review

Let's start with a compliment, the food was half decent. Had better, had worse. Now let's talk about the service, I have never ever been so rudely treated. I found a hair I'm my food and went to the reception to tell them (away from other customers). A waitress then came over straight away and accused it being my partners hair, no apology. She then came over with the hair stuck to a sticky label and said look not Chinese hair. A simple apology would have gone some way, didn't once say I wasn't paying for my food and no offer of discount was offered. Overall, a good Chinese for people who have never had a good Chinese. Average at best. Wear hair nets you scruffs

We visited this restaurant in winter 2023 and inside was quite chilly. Our food cooled down quickly if we put it on a separate plate. It is better to keep it in the main plate in which it was served. We didn't finish yet to take meal how the staff removed out plates 🤣. We were surprised by such speed.

So they say they have over 100 dishes for all you can eat, which by the way is pretty steep considering the menu. Have a look at the picture attached. They have stir fry onion as of the dishes... I wouldn't recommend for all you can eat. Just take away if you don't have a choice. Oh not to forget, if you don't buy a drink you will charged anyway...read the fine prints before you order for food if you are sitting in!

Had a meal here last week and we were pleasantly surprised. We cannot fault the place. Beautiful food, great service, good ambiance.

This has been a popular pub in higham ferrers for as long as I can remember. Good mix of space with a pool table upstairs, darts, plenty of TV screens for football. Often busy, pretty good parking. Great big garden which is great in the summer. Regular events in which is nice. Beer selection is a bit lousy with mostly lager and cider. Not great for proper beers but still worth a visit.

What an absolute hole! Very hostile environment, no management presence. One young bar man with lots of aggressive customers and 2 door staff on.

The hotel is a lovely, great setting with its beautiful gardens and grounds. There is plenty of space for people to enjoy a days wedding, especially on the lawns. Staff are friendly and polite, they are very helpful where they can be. Rooms could be improved with facilities that they provide in them. Breakfast is good at what they offer food wise, but the short hours the dining room is open are terrible, with everyone trying to get breakfast at the same time. Maybe a consideration of opening it 1/2hr early for people with young families who have to be awake early with youngsters wanting food. Bar is standard for price if drinks for a venue like this, you're always going to play a little more than you would in your local. Please change your in-house DJ. Its terrible, he can't mix songs and loops them and doesn't interact with the guest, and their request

Basic room, but clean and sufficient to lay your head. Linda and staff made us feel like locals! Very welcoming and super customer service, room wasn’t ready so she gave us a discount voluntarily!which was so lovely , busy pub full of well behaved young people having fun…… but by midnight not a sound . We are hoping to stay agsin for the famous beer festival later this year, Kate and Brian Thomson 23/5/23

A nostalgic visit as I worked here 40 years ago. The bar hadn't changed alot, a quick drink, the barman was helpful. Disappointed they don't do food. It was cold couldn't take your coat off Too many don't do this don't do that notices for my liking

Amazing new landlords taking over. Making a huge difference already. The well has been jetwashed. The sails out the front make a nice new touch. Some amazing bands on a Friday. Quiz night good fun on a Thursday. And there beer feats are amazing. First one this weekend.

We were pleasantly surprised to discover such a high-level restaurant and pub in the small village of Brigstock. The place has a beautifully authentic interior with thoughtful details that give it a unique charm. In the main dining area, there’s even a vintage pub game table — a lovely touch that adds to the atmosphere. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the food is made with fresh, local ingredients from nearby farms. They serve brunch, have a pool table, two spacious terraces, a kids’ corner, and lots of board games to enjoy. There are also special events like quiz nights and Steak Thursdays with great offers. The service was absolutely brilliant — attentive, friendly, and professional. A true hidden gem!

Mum and I ended our 9.5 mile walk by visiting here. We were greeted with a smile and taken to our table. The menu on Sunday was quite varied but not too much to choose from. Excellent food and great service thank you 😄

Had the pleasure of spending two consecutive evenings eating and socialising in this lovely pub this weekend. The food was delicious, menu scrumptious and varied, and the staff exceedingly friendly, helpful and personable. Highly recommend.

We had a fabulous meal and a great service, the staff had their work cut out with 13 of us, but they coped brilliantly. Will always recommend good food and service. The Desserts were to die for!!

Absolutely stunning meal and lovely waitress Issi who was a real delight. The gammon was beautiful with a really tasty parsley and tender stem. The brownie dessert with ice cream and a tunnocks tea cake on top was fantastic and we will certainly be back.

What a lovely gem this is! Went with my sisters and my dad for a Sunday lunch, not really sure quite what to expect. A cozy place, the service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food though is what I'm here to rave about - plating is aesthetically pleasing as you'll see from my photos. Most importantly, the food was AMAZING. All five of us opted for the roast beef, and we were all blown away. Everything was so good (cauli cheese croquette being the stand out side for all of us) and each opting for different desserts, we all thoroughly enjoyed them. The pricing was very reasonable, it worked out to being roughly £27.50 per head, each having two courses and a drink. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend again and we all also agreed we'd love to go back and sample some of the other items on the menu.

Omg you can't go wrong here on a Friday lunch. Two Cod and skin on fries, peas and a pot of tartar sauce for just £10.... YES £5 each when bought together!! Portion size was certainly not Skimpy either and it was cooked perfectly. C'mon you know it makes sense stop reading and go 👍🏻

Lovely olde world's pub dating back to 1300s (2nd oldest in Northants) great home cooked food. Highly recommend.

Me and Lei had a lovely meal here tonight. A very lovely, warm and friendly atmosphere. We both had the calamari for starters and for main I had the Bitoque with Pork and Lei had it with the beef ( Bitoque is a traditional Portuguese dish, which consists of a lean fried or grilled steak or pork, that is usually accompanied by fries, rice, various salads and topped with an egg. ), then for desert Lei had a cookies and cream cake. We will definitely be going again.

A true hidden gem offering authentic cuisine with friendly service. The food is very tasty with a highlight being the chouriço and morcela starter. Absolutely delicious.

This is such a treat of a restaurant; they do amazing food with lovely warm service. We always go for the Brasilian meals, and it is amazing! Value for money is excellent too.

I've been meaning to visit here for a long time, and I'm so gutted that I waited so long 💔 The food here was so tasty. I really recommend the ameijoas a Bolhao Pato clam starter, some of the tastiest seafood I've ever had 😋 We had the two person monk fish stew for main and it was gorgeous! I also tried the molotoff pudding and I've never had anything like it, it was like eating a fluffy caramel cloud ☁️ The staff were also super friendly and attentive. I can't wait to visit again ☺️✨️

Went to this lovely little restaurant with four of my mates Friday 3rd October . Staff were great and made sure we had drinks before leaving us for a few minutes to make our food choices . When the food came it was hot and delicious 🤤 The chorizo and black pudding starter was awsome and the beef main with rice , chips and egg in a delicious sauce was absolutely banging !! My mates all loved their starters and mains to and enjoyed to two jugs of sangria to 😂😂 Highly recommended and will defo visit again 👍

My wife and I dined at the restaurant last night for her Birthday. The service was excellent the staff were friendly and helpful. It was the best Indian I have had in a very long time and we will certainly be back. We had the poppadoms, onion Bhajis, Prawn Puree, Shashlik chicken and Voujon special Rogan Josh. Everything was delicious, well prepared and loaded with flavour. We look forward to returning soon.

Had a takeaway never had one from here before. Was surprised to have my 1st ever butter chicken that was light pink in colour. It tasted sweet didn't feel any good vibes about that a supermarket butter chicken beat that easily. Onion bajis were just plain no spices tasted whatsoever. The potatoe dishes were same bland no real taste however the rice was OK. Won't be wasting any more money here.

I wish to state the food order from this Indian restaurant was not satisfactory the chicken tikka phall was not what expected the phall is usually a hot and very spicy dish but the one I received was not that and the mushroom rice was very watery and I was very disappointed the other meal my mum received was great but I wish the owner to know of this as I very unhappy and wish to state of the lack of heat in a chicken tikka phall from this restaurant i would like a explanation and a full apology for this meal I ordered

Our experience here initially started well, friendly young bartender checked us in, the room was nicely presented and lovely and clean. Decided to book a table for 7pm in the restaurant…. I’m currently sitting here typing this at 8.05pm, still without a single thing to eat, the couple beside us have waited 50 minutes for the soup starter to arrive. Now in a busy period that wouldn’t be a problem, there is only 4 people in the restaurant. To be honest this has now ruined what was promising to be a lovely experience. If you require me to book a table at 7pm and still haven’t served me anything to eat by an hour and 15 minutes ( currently) you need to get better staff. Frankly disappointing. The Coach House Inn you need to get yourselves together because your current standards just aren’t good enough. Now 8.15pm and still no food……..

Arrived after lots of driving after an emotional funeral. A very warm welcome by the two staff, including one taking our case upstairs for my wife, as I am disabled. We enjoyed a pint of real ale and glass of rose as we ordered food. Very fresh food: home-made cauliflower soup followed by pasta which we asked to be spiced up! It was. The chef came and checked that we were happy. Another glass of rose for my wife and a lovely glass of red for myself. The staff were excellent with us and clearly they were also excellent with the punters in the bar. The atmosphere was one of folk having fun, talking and listening to each other, that sense of vibrancy one finds in an English country pub. The room was absolutely fine, a little rustic, but perfectly clean, lovely hot shower and we slept well. We enjoyed hearing the clock chiming in the village. We were keen to get on the road back to Edinburgh the next morning so arrived early for breakfast at 07.40 and we were delighted that the same chef helped us. The bowl of fruit, fresh coffee and tea, followed by the cooked breakfast were delicious and set us up for the day. We did not eat again until supper back home in Edinburgh! We enjoyed talking to the chef and clearly, he has huge experience and expertise. To conclude, the manner of each one of the three staff who looked after us was first-rate. We thought the food was first-rate. It cannot be easy running places like this. We need to support them. I hope others do. I used to work in the business of customer care and it is mighty difficult looking after people. Well done to the owner and all the staff!

Happened upon this lovely pub when out for a ride on our motorbikes. Very nice atmosphere and a well presented pub, coupled with drinks that were nice and not overpriced and a friendly smile from the bar staff.

We walked from North Luffenham to South Luffenham to visit The Coach House Inn for a couple of drinks, it is very cosy as a village pub didn't see accommodation as obviously only for residents. Bar area really lovely with a snug sitting area to the rear. This is a really quirky public house worth a visit. Large car park at the rear and seating.

Summary: Lacklustre, Underwhelming, Overpriced for what it is. Details: Baked Camembert - Strong, well cooked and tasty. Prawns with Chorizo - Mediocre, nothing to write home about, just prawns and chorizo in a bowl. Roast Lamb - Okay, large portion, lamb was overly fatty Fish and Chips - Decent chips, fish had little taste, undercooked soggy batter. Mushroom Pasta - Awful, bland, tasteless and uninspiring The Service: Very poor, no menus given within 20 minutes of sitting down, menus were simply paper sheets due to lack of menu binders/holders, waiters couldn’t carry more than one plate on each arm and struggled enough with that. Overall : Out of all pub lunches I have had this one takes the cake for the least inspiring and most disappointing.

A well furnished country pub situated in an excellent location for commuting within Rutland, Leicestershire & Northamptonshire. The eponymous Coach House chicken burger with homemade burger sauce is divine.

For years this was my favourite Indian takeaway in town, my go-to for 10-15 years. What they delivered me last night was so bad, that for the first time I wished I cooked it myself with basic skills. Garam masala plus tinned stewed steak would have tasted better. My curry tasted like tomato soup with barely any seasoning, with mixed chunks of tough mutton and more tender lamb. My mushroom rice had slimey barely cooked mushrooms that tasted tinned or frozen, with entirely unsalted rice. My sag aloo had 4 pieces of potato that tasted tinned, with sloppy and slimey spinach, and so much garlic (multiple cloves) that it stank out my house for 12+ hours. Felt like whomever cooked my meal had zero idea what they were doing, and ruined a 10+ year run of decent Indian takeaways. Fire them, I won't ever order again.

my biggest complaints about restaurants like this is that they don't offer GPS tracking. This means that customers have to wait and watch the door, hoping not to miss them. When the driver does arrives his sarcastic girlfriend will make some comment about why it took so long to answer the door. Did not order that.

Absolutely amazing as usual, however wait time on delivery as explained by the restaurant due to the freshness of the food and curry’s which longer times to make. never been disappointed with the quality and the taste of the food. Really appreciate the kind customer service. Highly recommend 😁

Tried Ali’s for the first on Monday, I thought it was the best Indian i had ever eaten!. And looked forward all week to my next Night off work and my next order!. I ordered exactly the same meal. Absolutely swimming in grease! And The rice was just the same and tasted terrible. Must of been a different chef on tonight. Because Tuesday’s meal was just amazing. I’m sorry but it was such a big disappointment. The lot was thrown into the bin.

we go there regularly as my parents like it. but of the last 4 - 5 times we have purchased from here. EVERY SINGLE TIME they don't give us the correct items. every single time we have been here they have consistently left out one of the only items i ordered for myself. i only recommend eating here if you dont want all the items in your order to arrive

Any time we order an Indian it’s from Ali’s. Last night’s order was terrible. Chips VERY undercooked and freezing on arrival. Lamb was extremely tough and chewy. We found the curries to be very oily too. Our order took much longer than an hour they had stated. Will be going elsewhere next time, very disappointed.

Been eating from here for a while since moving to Corby. We had a terrible take away recently from here. Food was inedible and when we phoned to ask for a replacement. Lady on phone was rude and so was the owner. Tried to tell us what we had should be spicy. We have the same order every time both dine in a takeaway with no problem. Don’t know if the place has changed hands but you have lost a long standing customer.

We've been here a few times as a family. The staff are really friendly and accommodating with our two little ones. The food is really great, have never been disappointed here. Went for a chicken ceylon and it is one of my favourite dishes, hot but flavoursome, sometimes you can tell with hot dishes that it's just had chilli powder dumped in there. Not the case here, the spices are fresh and the heat really builds up. Would recommend to anyone who likes a decent curry at a really good price.

I need to express my disappointment with my recent visit. Despite it not being a busy night, the bar staff took an unacceptable 40 minutes to serve our cocktails. Furthermore, the state of the restrooms was quite troubling and in need of urgent attention. I must say, while the cocktails were enjoyable, the overall experience left much to be desired. I urge you to address these issues if you want to encourage repeat customers like myself.

Spent a Saturday afternoon here for a friend's birthday, we opted for the £30 meal and drinks deal. The food choices were great, the cocktails were delightful and the staff were very attentive couldn't do enough for us. Great atmosphere and a fabulous afternoon.

Lunch time menu for £10 is really nice. You get a lot for your money 😊. Definitely recommend it. Also the staff are nice.

Really good place in Corby, probably the best club place in this town. Very clean with a friendly atmosphere. Everyone is so profesional and are able to make a lot of different drinks/cocktails. During a day a nice place for a coffee or a pint. Nice food, freshly prepared.

Used to go here occasionally a decade ago and loved it. Had my first (two) visits in years after moving back into the area and it’s just as good as I remember. Lovely atmosphere, great prices, the staff are friendly and the food is delicious. It’s also one of very few places you can get a hearty meal for a meat eater and a vegan.

A hidden gem on a back street in Corby. Calling this a “greasy spoon cafe” really doesn’t do justice to how good the experience of eating at The Hungry Hossee is. It’s from a dying breed of traditional British café where the service is friendly, the food affordable, tasty and plentiful. You’ll find people from across the community eating here too, and everyone is welcomed with a smile. It’s really apparent that the whole team gives 100% to serving customers and preparing food. So far, I’ve just had a few cooked breakfasts, consisting of bacon, fried egg, sausage, black pudding, sausage square, mushrooms, baked beans and tomatoes with fried bread and bread and butter or toast. They’ll happily accommodated variations/changes too, and cooked breakfasts come with a hot drink too… all very reasonably priced. Fine dining this is not, but it is good food, it is in surprisingly civil surroundings (looks better inside than out) and the service as I’ve already mentioned is fantastic. My ONLY suggestion (and this goes for many similar establishments) would be to provide sausages of a higher quality. They’re not bad, but it’s a bit of a missed opportunity that would really elevate the experience.

Ordered in the shop, fish cooked fresh to order. Good crisp batter, dry not swimming in fat! Tender juicy flaky fish. Chips perfect. This is the closest we have found to 'seaside fish & chips' without being by the sea! Marked down 1 star because delivery is hit and miss. One time it arrived perfect, another was cold, soggy and tasteless hut we put that down to the food 'sweating' in polystyrene tubs in a food warming bag. I can't see a solution to this other than to order and collect in person. Any time we fancy fish and chips we will always collect. Looking forward to the first fry of new potatoes, yummy 😋.

Loved the themed decor of this place. Despite being in the heart of Northamptonshire, you feel like you're by the sea. You can tell by the look and great taste that the chips are proper chips. I couldn't tell if they were hand-cut or not! Great to see the option of eating in as well as taking away, and though the place is small inside, the staff allowed my friend to use their bathroom before a long drive back to London. Very friendly service all round, and fantastic food! Would definitely recommend a visit if you find yourself in Corby!

Weekly delivery takeaway from The Old Village Fish and Chip shop. Food is easily the best locally, especially the fish and curry sauce is next level. I wouldn’t use any other chippy now. Everything is always freshly cooked. Even better now that they offer a delivery service. Staff are always very polite and friendly.

Tried over 12 fish & chip shops across Northamptonshire on a recent little adventure. This was the first one we tried and it was delicious and became the benchmark. No other came close. Nice, clean premises and lovely food. Try the deep fried Mars Bar, they're surprisingly lovely.

I've heard nothing but good things about The Old Village Fish and Chip Shop. So good in fact that I needed to try it myself. I'm pleased to say that it has lived up to its reputation. Very clean shop with seating. A nice selection of drinks in the cooler to help quench your thirst. The real gem is the food. I had a scampi and a small chips fully expecting to get the usual pale, minced shrimp in a doughy batter. WRONG! Huge whole tail scampi fried to a crispy brown perfection. The chips though a small portion were generous and plenty for one person. My husband had the large plain sausage and said it was tasty without being too greasy. I have to say I'm worried about my weight. The ease of parking and running in for a quick supper is going to be tempting me!

What a stroke of good fortune coming across this place again, after a couple of years thinking it had closed down forever... I really fancied some good, tasty fish and chips, without the grease. Well, I came to the right place! Succulent cod with a light crispy batter... and dry chips, lovely and firm on the outside, and melt in your mouth once you bit into them. And Jamie, the owner, has a great ethos of serving up the best tasting and healthiest food he can. Everything is cooked to order, so it's as fresh as possible and stays hot to eat when you get home. This works for me...! Don't know how long I'll be able to last out before I have to return for a mouth watering mixed doner kebab!!

We came into The Evs in Corby after our doctors appointment and we were feeling thirsty, We decided to go to the bar and ordered our Pepsi Max and the staff were very kind and attentive. Our glass came with ice and it was delicious. There was a nice range of seats which was appreciated, we sat next to the pool table and it was quite quiet when we came over but we had a lovely time. We wanted to have some lunch here but when we enquired if the restaurant was open and it wasn't, which was disappointing but we want to come back again to try their food out.

Not nice calling yourself dog friendly pub, took 45 mins on foot to get to this place with friend for a drink with our dogs and was refused entrance, due too many people... We saw there was couple tables free outside in the garden and our dogs are two well mannered dogs, would not do any harm to anyone for sure.... Went to town center and had no problem being seated in another busy pub, so will not recommend and not return.

We started with a delicious sharing platter, though we did have to ask for the oil and balsamic, which had been forgotten. The green grapes were also a little soft and past their best. The pizza had a great dough and nice cheese, but the overall flavor felt a little basic. The garlic dip was brilliant—though very strong! For dessert, I was served the wrong ice cream, but the portions were generous, which was a nice surprise. The cocktail list is impressively long, though my French Martini arrived brown, which made me wonder if the pineapple juice wasn’t fresh

We were served by Grace. She was so friendly and cheerful. If it wasn't for how nice she was I would have been more annoyed at how long our desserts took but she discounted us and I couldn't be mad at how lovely she was! Credit to the restaurant honestly! Restaurant was packed, the poor staff seemed a little run off their feet at times, I think they definitely needed an extra pair of hands although they coped and were as efficient as they could be. Food was nice and affordable.

First time dining at Hectors-Pizza & Bar this evening. Had an amazing meal with my boyfriend and happily accepted the 2 for £12 cocktail deal and had Sex On The Beach which I’ve had before elsewhere and Cherrylicious which I’ve never tried before and it was delicious!

Been here a few times and it’s consistently good food. Service was great and there wasn’t a long wait. Meera was a great waitress, would go there again!

Went for a booking of 16 people and had to pre order. Food arrived 1hr 15mins after arrival, lots of it was missing from the order and two of the calzones were cold in the middle. They re cooked 3 times for them still to be ice cold. In the end the two people did not want them. Very disappointing given this was a birthday/family meal. Will not be returning

Popped in here prior to going to see a film at the cinema, currently a 15% discount off your meal if you have cinema tickets. The staff were friendly and attentive, checking back that all was ok with our meals The food was delicious, Lasagne, mushroom tagliatelle and a side order of fries, all lovely. If you're going to the cinema i would recommend stopping in here for a meal.

I recently visited Oakley Fish Bar, hoping for a relaxing evening and some delicious food. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfying, despite the food being decent. 1. Atmosphere and Location The location is promising, and the decor could create a pleasant atmosphere. However, the experience was overshadowed by poor organization and an unprofessional attitude from the staff. 2. Service The most disappointing aspect of my visit was the lack of a functioning card reader. I was informed that it "never works in the evening," which I found not only unprofessional but outright embarrassing for a modern restaurant. I was sent to withdraw cash from an ATM, which put me in an extremely uncomfortable situation, especially when relying on a credit card that cannot be used to withdraw cash easily. When I expressed my frustration to the staff about this inconvenience, they responded by laughing and dismissing my concerns. This kind of disrespect towards customers is simply unacceptable. 3. Menu and Food Ironically, the food was the only redeeming factor. The dishes were well-prepared, and the flavors exceeded expectations. However, the quality of the food cannot make up for the overall poorly managed experience. 4. Conclusion While the food was good, I strongly advise against visiting Oakley Fish Bar until they improve their services and customer interactions. It’s unacceptable for a restaurant to lack modern payment solutions and expect customers to go out of their way to pay, especially with such an unprofessional and dismissive attitude from the staff. Proper training on customer service is urgently needed to avoid placing customers in such awkward situations. Overall Rating: 1.5/5 The food might be decent, but the entire experience was ruined by poor service and staff behavior. Not recommended.

Food is usually good, however, if you go at around 20:30 you'll be treated poorly by staff that are too keen to get home. "you'll have to have a small" when I've asked for a medium chips isn't how I expect to be treated, the customer behind me knew that as he walked out saying I could have his. Got home and because they're in such a rush to finish, gravy lid wasn't even put on properly so it's leaked everywhere burning my partner. Dished up the remnants of the oil soaked chips and I'm expected to eat what I wouldn't give to a dog. If my custom is such a hindrance, then I'll go elsewhere to spend my money, it's as simple as that.

Appalling...LACK OF BASIC HYGIENE -read the Food Standards Agency report. 2 Star rating Visit date 25th March 2024 11th August 2024 8.00pm ish I just visited and ordered and paid for a Lamb shish kebab here. There were three staff in the food cooking and prep area. The elder man who took my order went to the fridge and used some rather contaminated tongs to put the meat on the grill. Minutes later he turned the meat after using the same tongs to put a raw beef burger on. Another lad brushed his face and nose and moments later began choping salad and veg. Another customer tried to order food and he sent her to the cash point... then he pushed his palm up over his mouth and up on to his nose twice! I politely asked him to wash his hands before handling food and was told the other man near the grill would do my food....He had an uncovered beard and he too had just used his palm to push the bottom if his nose! I pointed this out and was given lots of abuse and told they serve hundreds of customers..... and I needed to have a picture to prove anything! I then asked for a refund and left....I will not be returning...obviously Mias are not taking Basic Hygiene seriously and have not heeded The Food Standards Agency report or enforced sufficient standards since their visit. Very poor.....I don't want germs from your hands, mouth, face and beard in food I eat.....yet you seem to think its acceptable..... its not and never will be!

I have never seen a kebab without salad. Although I have ordered Kebab and add salad and garlic mayo there I received only meat with basic mayo on bread. It was so heavy to eat. I didn't call back as it already took over an hour and half to deliver. I understand that on Friday it may get busy but please read instructions carefully

Absolutely disgusting! Firstly delivered to the house half an hour early so I was actually still at work. Only one person's meal was actually edible, there was meat in vegetarian dish and everyone ended up ill. Every time I have tried to contact the restaurant nobody has answered so I emailed and surprise surprise I have had no response. It's not the first time I've been ill after eating from there but was prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt. Never again!

Great little restaurant, the food is absolutely spot on!! There was a large party in celebrating a birthday and it is a small venue, so the only thing for us that would have made this perfect would have been if in a larger space, and less loud, but we prefer a quieter atmosphere, so it’s personal preference. Having said that we would definitely come back again. Very friendly service and great on the plentiful vegan options too, highly recommended!!!

A beautiful restaurant!!! We dined on Saturday evening and had the most wonderful experience with delicious food, fantastic service. I can honestly say this is the best restaurant in Corby! It is fresh and tasty and I really appreciated the vast selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes available. I have had many takeaways which were great but being in the beautiful restaurant did elevate the experience. I am so excited to return and I have already planned to visit for my birthday next month.

Absolutely the most diabolical curry I’ve attempted to eat in my entirety ( well tried). You have not made any attempt to rectify the appalling mess you have deemed fit for delivery tonight, not to mention human consumption. Just because I am on holiday and won’t be a returning customer - you have subjected me and my family to slop. You had an opportunity to attempt financial reparation and this has not been met! Therefore this establishment has been reported to the environment agency with immediate effect due to the fact you deny responsibility for a hair imbedded in my rogan josh (repulsive chilli con carne) and neglectful attention to the presentation of food overall. I would advise anyone to give this place a wide berth for takeaways as they are evasive to being held accountable of serving formulaic revolting food! Lamb rogan Josh is not supposed to be the epiphany of defectively chopped vegetables and squelched lamb condensed altogether (not even sure you can call it lamb). Yet they tried to say it was actually my hair and kept bowling on about “woman in the kitchen” undoubtably appalling service. Expect contact from Northamptonshire Council.

Went there as family of 4 for the first time. We loved it! The waiter was so polite and informative. He even went through the full menu with me to explain all the dishes as I’m not very familiar with Indian cuisine . During the cooking, he was bringing the sauce to check if it’s spicy to my liking. Cannot recommend enough. Definitely the best Indian restaurant we have been to. Superb service.

We thought we would try out Moanv as a change from our regular Saturday night takeaway and now wish hadn't bothered. This was honestly the worst Indian Takeaway we've have ever had. Ordered 3 different chicken dishes, rice, naans and side salad, there were 3 to four pieces of rubbery chicken in each, all the sauces looked the same bar the frozen veg used it my Kadia. The sauces tasted like jar sauces and the frozen veg used was absolutely disgusting. Im never really someone that complains or reviews but on this occasion its well justified. Called the restaurant and advised and I was offered a refund on one of the awful chicken dishes, will wait to see what happens. Better the devil you know. Ordered a delivery. Time wise was good. The food however was not. It was luke warm when it arrived. The taste was horrible,how they make there sweet and sour sauce, I dread to think. Its disgusting. we've had the same from another takeaway and the food is lovely and always hot. We thought we'd try this one as a new menu came through our door, but won't be ordering again. Food had to go in the microwave so we could have a hot meal. Definitely won't be recommending this place to anyone. Total waste of money. Mostly went in the bin. We'll stick to our usual one. Ya Hao.

I made an order through Just Eat by accident, I was actually looking to order from a different takeaway. However, I thought I'd try it out for a change. I cancelled my order through Just Eat and then called and ordered directly through the business. Doing this tends to help businesses as they don't have to pay 3rd party companies and normally give you a discount. Unfortunately, this isn't the case with this place and even have the Just Eat bags stacked high behind the counter. The food was "okay". No complaints, but certainly nothing to shout about either. Will I recommend to my friends and family? Probably not. Would I say not to go there if asked by someone? No, because there's no complaints. I'll try again one day, but I'm certainly not in a rush to.

My one star is for their chips and their incredible decor inside their takeaway. Ordered house special fried rice which tasted of nothing but garlic. The portion was really small, you get such a small amount of rice considering the price and compared to others! Hated the taste of the sauce as well as the sweet n sour sauce - so synthetic! Will not be using this chinese again unfortunately.

Just spent £33 on Mr Chois takeaway and I was really disappointed. The spare ribs had very little meat and the sauce was bland. The chips tasted like they had been reheated. Needless to say I will not be ordering from there anytime soon.

Genuinely exceptional, and I really mean that. I've just moved from Oakham where we had the choice of 5 chinese takeaways. I spent 5 years sampling them and deciding my favourite and this just blew them out of the water on the first go... beautiful vibrant colours matched only by the crisp taste. I find a lot of chinese takeout to be greasy and bland but definitely not this place. They clearly use good quality fresh produce and it really would stand up against any a la carte restaurant. Every single dish was great and the prices are as low as your average chinese takeaway. Ordered in advance for 7.30 and it came over the counter, piping hot, at 7.31. Cant praise it enough, I'm a customer for life 👍 great job guys. (Just to clarify this is the first review I have ever done... it's that good!!)

At this day and age there is a place where you cannot pay for takeaway food by card. They have minimum spend of £10 if you want to pay by card. Shocking!

The wait was a little long but let's be real, it was prime time on a Saturday, I can't knock any points off for that. The girl at the counter was really friendly and helpful and the atmosphere in the place itself was nice. It's not a sit-in restaurant but had quite a cosy feel to it. You could hear the chefs in the back working their arses to the bone and making this delicious food, local heroes! The food itself was all piping hot, plentiful and delicious. I spent around £35 and it fed 2 people very comfortably. Whenever I try a new Chinese I get a munchie box to try out a few different things, and I have to say at £13.80 this might be the best value for money munchie box in town. Everything in it tasted great too. Also got a beef curry, honey chilli chicken and crispy shredded beef and all were top notch. Overall a great takeaway ran by some really hard working people and I will 100% order from here again

The food is always good from here! But for me, its the customer service more than anything! I've used New Chois for years and never had a bad experience. The lady behind the counter is always friendly and she's great at job!

Quite disappointed in the food ordered a special fried rice it had 3 prawns in it and bits of spam and a couple of peas not special imo, also ordered barbecue pork in peeking sauce what I got was a three quarters full container of bean sprouts and seven average size pieces of pork and because of the amount of bean sprouts the sauce was very watered down. This is a honest review a realistic 3/10 stars is generous. There’s better value else where that taste better 😟

Worst Subway in Corby. Haven’t gone here for a long time because they’re stingy on the salad. Was near this one and had to be quick so thought I’d give them one more try. I ordered on the app then sat in for 5 mins. There was nobody in store and the guy was just stood there so I said I’ve ordered on the app. He goes “that orders not for 15 minutes” because ASAP on the app always sets it further ahead in time. I went, well nobody’s in, can you just make that one now? He doesn’t say a word to me and starts making the sandwich. He then doesn’t toast it and puts the salad on, while he’s doing that I said that’s meant to be toasted, he ignored me, bagged it up and handed it to me, I went thats not toasted is it? He goes no. Then tries to take the bag out of my hands. I pulled it back off him, told him he had an attitude and left. Won’t give them any more chances. Avoid this Subway.

My wife and I paid for the whole sub furious chicken sandwich as advertised. The staff was very rude to us and counted the number of onions, cucumbers and tomatoes as well as the salad. We asked if we can get more salad as that was little. We got told off that if you want more then you pay for it and if you add more salad then the sandwich will not wrap. We ARE NEVER COMING TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. Better off at Weatherspoons.

The most obnoxious place going. Tried to rip me off by short changing. Then when I confronted them was advised that it was me that caused the issue and that I’m a racist. He then had the audacity to invite me outside for a confrontation…..! What happened to customer service? Obviously it bypassed this location. Just read all the reviews and seems like this is a common occurrence for this ‘Little Man’ to try and be a bully. PLEASE AVOID IF YOU WANT A GOOD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE & SERVICE……..!

Delivery was all wrong the meat on the sandwich was all wrong it wasn't toasted they gave us mayo instead of garlic sauce they forgot cheese I mean tye sandwich had 3 ingredients that's just not good enough is it? when me and my partner started making orders, after about a few minutes when we spoke in our language, the guy started being aggressive and throwing the food, he couldn’t even make a simple order, people that have no experience whatsoever and are racist, shouldn’t be able to work in places like this, i’m very disappointed.

Just ordered a sandwich and the “manager” refused to make the sandwich I requested. He said menu changed, he only make what’s on the menu. I said no worries I’ll pay extra, but I will be customizing it. Then when I told him I’ll be sending it to management and asked for his name he refused so I took his picture and he said he will shoot me and cursed me out. I included his picture below I guess it’s not a crime here in England to threaten to shoot people? Eh, being from the USA I guess I should be use to people threatening to shoot me.

The Subway warrior wielded his ice-cream scooper like a weapon. He plunged it into the cheese abyss only to perform a villainous shake-shake-shake ritual. What landed in my my sandwich? A paltry sprinkle of cheese dust. When I requested he give me an entire scoop he called out “it’s the rules” like he was exited to do so The cruel theatre of stinginess.

What can I say apart from its the absolute BEST Fish and Chip shop EVER !!!!! I have been buying Fish and chips from here for over 20 years and the quality and service is always outstanding. The Fish are so so good, I actually live in Edinburgh and have tried Fish from all over Scotland, but this chippy beats them all hands down !!

Lovely little find. Very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. We were the only ones in there but we were not made to feel awkward at all even gave us a choice of music to listen to. Love that you can choose a record they have there and there is no problem bringing your own to listen to. The food was really good and tasty cooked to perfection. Definitely worth a visit I highly recommend it.

I took family to this place and it’s turned out to be my latest favourite place to eat. I’m reluctant to give a great review as it might become everyone’s next favourite place! Amazing menu and the staff were very friendly. Can’t wait to go back

A lovely spot, members of staff are very professional and sweet. The food is decent, breakfast is absolutely top notch. Bar staff are all helpful and welcoming. Rooms are always clean and mint, smell fresh and well maintained. Been over 15 times never had to complain. 11/10

Room: No A/C. Bed sheets didn’t fit the bed. Food: We enjoyed the breakfast. Spa treatments: Absolutely terrible! The head massage was the masseuse just rubbing my head round in circles, she didn’t touch the back of my head, nor. Not relaxed at all. What a waste of money and time! The back massage was about the same. Uncomfortable, not at all relaxing and also, what a waste of money and time.

The situation we encountered today was stressful.. we have been driving 4 hours, arrived at the hotel to encounter that Booking.com hadn’t passed on our booking details to Holiday Inn. Due to this we cannot check inn, we would have to wait, something no customer wants to hear. Mel the receptionist at the time at Holiday was absolutely amazing, she offered some free drinks vouchers and provided us amazing customer support. Thanks Mel

We live in Scotland and stopped of here today 20/10 24 . Only to be told after ordering our drinks and cake that I could not pay with Scottish bank notes very embarrassing situation and the first time this has happened in many years .luckily I was able to scrape payment together in coins .you really need to educate your staff as we can’t be the only ones to stop of here who have Scottish notes and other businesses on site took them with no problem …A very poor show by Starbucks.and the tables were all dirty

Usual quality of produce at Starbucks. Initial person who served me was really friendly and helpful. Person making drinks did come across as if they had had enough of their shift. Where she was working there was a cold frappe drink spilt and no one was wanting to clean it up so flies were having a field day. It made my initial interaction redundant.

Used the drive-thru this morning, such lovely service from one of the staff (dark haired lady at window) offered to take rubbish out of our car to make room for the coffee- not a huge gesture but one of those that make the difference in customer service!

A nice relaxed roadside Starbucks attached to petrol station and shop. The staff are pretty friendly, the service is fast and the tables actually cleaned and cleared. It also has a drive through which seems to work well although I haven’t tried it myself. Opening hours are pretty good so you can get a coffee most of the time. Pity it’s not actually a 24 hour one though.

Get given half a cup of coffee asked for a venti got a grande and for the price half a cup! told the guy it’s empty and he said it’s a light drink got home to half a cup go here everyday will have to check in future before driving off crazy for the cost of it that they can just give half a cup happened a few times now

A slightly weird place, feels a bit stuck in the 80's, but it is strangely comforting. No fancy coffees here! The food is usually decent, and cooked fresh to order. Fried potatoes with breakfast is different, but yummy. Staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is round the back down a narrow driveway, but plentiful.

Absolutely freezing cold inside. Service was good and plated food looked good. But sadly it went drastically downhill from there. My mushrooms were honestly ice cold like they'd just got from the fridge and put on a warm plate. Toast was bone dry with the very centre smaller than a ten pence with the tiniest bit of spread. The 'sausage' was the cheapest thing I've ever not eaten. Pretty sure it's 50 for £1... the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly, but when you're paying £10.60 you expect to be able to eat the food. No check back at all. And worse part os the decor is easily 70s and not inspired... actually built in the 70s and left like that. Plastic bench seating I've not seen since I was a child. The place needs a serious amount of work just to make it OK. So defo skip if you're hungry.

Service was good and food looked good, the egg, bacon, toast were cooked nicely but sadly that's about it also long waits too for £10.50 I won't be going again.

They serve absolutely to die for breakfast i have one every Sunday they know how to cook and have various different breakfast plus things you can add if you want extra

Second time here and still the food is actually really nice but I have to mention how the chef does not, unless prompted, cook a "nice dippable egg!!"... first time I asked for dippable eggs and got them, where cooked to perfection although here again and did not ask and served the worst eggs I've seen for a long time 😔 somewhat my own doing and not tried their full range of food but what I have had is lovely, service is a little bland but good enough and staff are not afraid of portion size or even reducing values weather to suit themselves or you. Win win really just remember to ask for a dippable egg as they don't do poached

4 stars only for the delivery guy other than that the food was waste of money. We ended up staying in the toilet for the next hours of a tummy pain, ordered 3 pizzas which was barely any cheese in there and the ingredients looked like very old and not fresh.the rest of the leftover pizza went to bin and I really don’t like to throw food away. Lesson learned the bad way as it was my first and last time I’ve ordered from this branch.

I recently ordered from this place and it was definitely enjoyable. The crust had a nice texture, and the toppings were well balanced. While it wasn’t quite the best I’ve had—my experiences at a couple of other outlets have truly wowed me. All in all, I’ll give it four stars.

Cannot fault the food... but its cashless now.. they refused to accept cash... if I didn't have the kids in the car asking for pizza I would have gone into town.. there's more business who accept your cash.. You just lost a customer..

Ordered 70 pounds worth pizzas. Half price deal was good reducing to 35. However my own pizza had hardly any topping. 12 pieces of mushroom over whole pizza. Cheese was absolute minimum. Only time I've brought a pizza same as could have got from Tesco frozen aisle. Not happy overall. Very dry , minimum taste. Truly shocked

Definitely the worse so called Chinese food I've ever tasted. 1 and a half hours late. Thai red curry taste like gravy with reheated plain chips that were meant to salt and chilli chips.

Beef curry looked like custard not curry sauce. Beef pale in colour - didn't taste it - looked hideous. Other dishes were average but nothing special. Won't be returning

Got a delivery on Friday 31stMay. 4 different things. Lots of meat, one dish & lovely veg. Second dish, prawns in lovely sauce, again lovely veg too, pork in batter. My point to anyone reading is yes it costs but they had the great courtesy of putting plenty, meat, pork & prawns. Two people ate well on Friday with some to spare. Some restaurants are taking the pee, we know things have gone up but to rip the customers off is not the answer. Well done, Wing Hong, Corby.

Thai tom yum soup, is supposed to be thin, watery texture, flavoured with lemongrass, onion, tomato, chilli etc, not gravy with veg and prawns. If its not Thai tom yum soup do not advertise it as such. Everything else was ok.

Avoid. Food taste less and not cook, chicken curry looked like sick. And was unable to eat it was that bad. Got the impression it was yesterdays left over dinner.

The problem now is, if both the food and the service has gone so far downhill, do we now find ourselves a different pizza place? :-( <<* Trying to order, pay or collect is painful if you end up dealing with the wrong person. Such an absolute ‘can’t be bothered’ attitude is really starting to steer us to look elsewhere.

We ordered at 4.18, didn't arrive until 5.20. After a few phone calls and us about to cancel the order the delivery guy showed up apologetic, saying he had 4 orders prior to ours and one he had to walk to which took 10 minutes. Our pizzas were hot so we accepted them and overall we are happy with our order. We did find out they have partnered with uber though. If you don't want uber to take your order you have to phone the store and make that request.

Really bad service and attitude. Not what you expect when spending good money on a pizza. Lied to by staff. I had received a notification saying it had been delivered after 40 mins of ordering, but it hadn’t arrived. The 3rd call I was just left hanging on the phone after asking to speak to the Manager. I could hear people talking in the background and was left hanging for 10 mins. Pizza arrived while holding so they had obviously done that on purpose waiting until my pizza arrived. I hung up really annoyed. The pizza was stone cold when it finally arrived. Loyal customer lost after this being the 3rd bad experience with this branch.

The manager is very rude and arrogant. We got no chicken on pizza "chicken club". Instead of taking the present and bring the right pizzas in accordance with the order, the manager started shouting at us and told us that we were blind. I do not recommend this place.

Papa John's in Corby exceeded all expectations! The food was simply amazing – fresh, flavorful, and delivered right on time. What truly sets this store apart is its incredibly friendly staff. From taking my order to ensuring everything was perfect, their customer service was outstanding. Highly recommended!

Ordered from justeat, first time from tiptop, order hadn't arrived after one hour so called them, told me on way. Another 30 mins later it arrived cold with food split all inside bag.. never again

STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT! The Singapore fried rice had no taste whilst the salt and pepper prawns were far too salty. Both extremes of the spectrum. The staff have very poor customer service and when told that the food was inedible we were refused a refund as well as a new order. Very disappointed and I will never recommend this place

Last time I will ever order from here. Order a fair amount 2x salt and chilli chips, chicken curry. Chicken balls and rice. Some reason they didn't give us prawn crackers but another "free" bag of plain chips. Drove home and honestly could not tell the difference between salt and chilli chips and the plain ones for a place that charges nearly £9 for two portions of salt and chilli chips. Sort it out 👎

Always usually a good service, because we order a large amount they usually send free prawn crackers and spring rolls. On my first order i ordered these and got double, so i had stopped ordering them as they were coming free. I was and have been ordering more than £30 each time. Today with my order I received nothing, and i wanted prawn crackers and got nout even though it was a £35 order!!!! Will try else where now. Your loss!!!

We are new to the area so this was our first meal from New Tip Top and we opted for home delivery which was very quick. The food was very good but we found the FREE items stated on the menu to be confusing. For example orders over £10 - Prawn Crackers, orders over £15.00 - Vegetable Spring Roll, orders over £25.00 - Salt & Pepper Chips. Our order came to £26.20 + £1.00 for delivery but the only extra we received were the chips which neither myself nor my husband eat. We had expected to receive all 3 FREE items but in the event of only getting one we would both have much preferred the Prawn Crackers. Surely we should’ve been given the option! We will definitely order again though but in future will make a point of stipulating which FREE item we would prefer.

Very fast and good quality. The leaflet and the website both say you get a free spring roll on orders over £15, but we don't receive them. Still better quality and faster service than the other Chinese in Corby which we used to use. Always very fast and friendly service, just knocked off one star because I like a spring roll and don't like prawn crackers ;-)

I ordered food from them as just a trial, their staff was warm and kind over the phone. THE FOOD was delicious and moist not dry like most restaurants. The food areiver quickly too. Thanks guys well done to all the staff. I WILL definitely recommend them.

A quaint Cafe that will leave you feeling like a child. Such wonderful detail all over bringing Alice and Wonderland to life. Staff was very friendly! I had the cinnamon apple French toast paired with some Carmel apple tea. The Carmel apple tea was more than delicious! The French toast came with of course cinnamon apples and oat crumble with a bit of whipped cream. The toast was perfectly crisp preventing the cinnamon apples from making the bread soggy. Highly recommend!

My mum ordered myself and my daughter a Sunday roast to be delivered as we’d just moved house and was unpacking etc. I’m sad to say that she spent almost £50 and the food wasn’t great :-( The ‘gravy’ was grease and left my food coated with a greasy texture, roast potatoes were over cooked and hard and looked like they’d been fried. The meat and veg were fab! Except using the ‘gravy’ made everything greasy so we couldn’t eat it. Really disappointed :-(

What an amazing place! As soon as you go through the door (but make sure you mind your head, I learnt the hard way!) you're transported to a fairytale land! The decorations are next to none and so was the food. Mostly recommended if you love and appreciate quirky places!

Absolutely fantastic dining experience. We called in today whilst in the Old Village and were instantly transported to the world of Alice in Wonderland. The decor is superb with plenty of accessories and interesting decor features, the roaring fire also added to the atmosphere The food was lovely, everything is home made, and the portions are extremely generous. Our mains and desserts were beautiful. Throughout the meal the staff were attentive, without being overbearing, and friendly. A great dining experience and one we would highly recommend. Thank you very much.

Crazy that this is my local and yet I travel much further afield for a drink! I attended tonight because I saw a live band advertised. They were decent, but the staff and venue were great. I'll be returning and hopefully it'll turn into my regular

Great evening of live music in the Shire Horse lounge. A great space with room for pool tables, a stage and plenty of tables and chairs - even a little impromptu dance area at the front of the stage. Atmosphere was great - with all original music from local Corby bands Yodaclub and The Scenesters. I've never seen so many people determined to have a great night - and a great night they had - with singing and dancing and perhaps a drink or two. Fantastic night all round!

Booked last minute for a carvery for 2 - excellent carvery, plenty of meat and a good choice of piping hot potatoes and vegetables. Had a delicious banana split for dessert. Very friendly staff.

The shire horse does a fantastic roast dinner every Sunday 😋 and a gluten-free one for me, which is brilliant. A choice of 4 different meats and several vegetable choices. You can also have roast, mash, and new potatoes . Staff are lovely and helpful. I do recommend booking ahead as they get very busy. You can also order in a takeaway tub, but you have to collect it yourself as they don't deliver. Fantastic staff food and atmosphere.

Still a great pub, great atmosphere friendly staff, great food. In the beer garden for the kids to play on are a climbing frame slide,swings etc. There events are amazing too with a stage in the beer garden with live performances from local bands. There is also Lots of seating outside consisting of beer garden benches. Still one of the best family pubs in Corby to go to. So get yourself down there ☺️

We went for a meal at this public house, having read some reviews,we were expecting to have a good evening, what a disappointment. One of the meals we ordered was a mixed grill £23.95 the steak didn't look nor taste like steak! There were no hash browns, nor was there any egg! The manager eventually came over, but he appeared to think we were making a fuss about nothing, though we had paid for a full meal and received just three quarters of what we paid for! Avoid if you are looking for a hearty meal.

I recently visited Weldon with a group of friends for a long weekend. We visited both of the pubs in the village and found both to be friendly and welcoming, despite both being very busy on Friday and Saturday night. We visited the George Weldon on the Saturday for something to eat and a few beers. The pub was very busy but also friendly. We couldn't initially get seats together, due to the size of our group, but managed to get a couple of tables together a little later. We all ordered food, which was really tasty, service was very good and reasonably priced. We stayed for a few more beers, and couldn't fault the place. Lovely atmosphere, great service and very friendly. Well worth a visit.

Awful service, waited over 90 minutes for a meal that was booked well in advance. When approached the staff, to our amazement, the large table of people were served before us but although they arrived before us, they had not reserved or booked a table. We eventually had enough and decided to leave. The staff in question eventually let us have the drinks on the house. The manager was unavailable for comment when we asked to see him.

Spent a lovely family day at the George for Easter. The staff were very friendly & very keen to help. The food was amazing & well presented. It was busy but the food came in good time & was enjoyed by us all. A wonderful day & really happy with the great food & service we received. Lovely staff & good quality food. Highly Recommended to all.

My Son and I stopped off here for a Sunday lunch. Expecting it to be busy, but wasn't. The service was prompt from the friendly staff. The roast was lovely nice and hot and tasty too..our only grumble being we should have gone for a small roast. Thank you. Recommended

Roast was not nice at all. Roast potatoes very small dry. Parsnips and carrots rock hard. Yorkshire to eggy. Will not go back, I appreciate they are training but it's not rocket science to cook food through.

First lunch at the Manor House, can’t fault it . Friendly, professional, good atmosphere. We had three courses all came well over our expectations. Well done kitchen and well done front of house . Booking up again soon 😋

Decided to try walked in store. Asked what vegetables was in the beef oyster sauce dish. I got nothing of the sort, stodgy and jammed with cheap corn lol. Standard rice and the spring rolls was awful. Also got cheap nasty vegtables with the noodle dish.. Sorry to be blunt and honest. I also paid cash and tipped. So i would avoid this place at all costs.

First time I've used this takeaway and I'm impressed, waited a while after ordering which isn't a bad thing, assuming it's freshly cooked,certainly tasted as so, chips were Moorish, and the rest yummy too, will definitely be returning

Pleasantly surprised. Perfectly cooked toastie. It felt like it was cooked with care. The cafe was spotlessly clean and lovely service. Another nice touch was having ice in the glass for the can of pop. It felt like there was attention to detail. By far the best supermarket cafe I've been to.

Absolutely awful 😖 Met with a friend for a drink and a pan au chocolate. Asked for my hot chocolate to be extra hot. Was told by a gum chewing lady that it's only as hot as the machine provides. Great! Not! The drinks turned up with the pastries. Well the pastries were a) stone cold, b) pale, c) tasted awful. Shame on you Tesco, if you're going to provide a cafe service, at least get staff that look the part and serve food that looks appealing and prepared properly. I would never use this cafe again.

I came in here last week, whilst waiting for my car to be serviced nearby. I ordered 2 Big Breakfasts, 1 Chicken burger, and Kids Pizza & Chips. 1 Big breakfast contains, 2 sausages, choice of fried, poached or scrambled eggs, beans, 2 bacon, 3 hash browns, and either toast, fried bread or bread. I added a Black pudding as extra. These big breakfasts are £9.50 each. Absolute overpriced plate of garbage. The Black pudding was rock hard, the sausages were hard and dried out, no tomatoes, no mushrooms, these have to be added as an extra. The bacon was very fatty, and the fried bread was rock hard and greasy. The Chicken burger was hard and had a massive leaf of lettuce. The kids Pizza and chips came from a budget pizza they sell and 6 chips in a ramekin. Very disappointed. £2.25 for 1 can of coke. I spent £60 in there and it was all very disappointing, I will not be visiting Tesco Cafe again.

Staff are great but availability of the food is always poor. Never able to get most of the menu. Either out of stock or can't be bothered to cook it. This second option may be due to sometimes being over busy. I go very regular and food is OK for the price. Service is very good. Very professional and polite. Can't give any more than 3 stars due to how often they don't have the menu available. Just toasties or paninis etc. Shame as let's a good cafe down.

Bloody awful, they can’t get anything right man and then the quality is worse and worse. Won’t ever buy there again. Ordered CHICKEN kebab and got LAMB. Ordered CHICKEN sandwich with no red lettuce and they STILL put it in there. Worst you can get really, go to McDonald’s and get way better service. Good questionable there as well but whatever.

Absolutely awful. Waited an hour for the food and when it finally arrived it was cold, missing 2 drinks from meal deals, the ONLY drink they sent was the wrong one and the garlic bread was laughable. Rock solid and looked like someone had stomped on it, didn't even know it was possible to make it that bad! Dog didn't even want it and he eats his own sick. Only ordered from here because Corby Kebab are on holiday.

Ordered from here for years never an issue - however today it was asked for meals didn’t get meals rang back was told they’d do chips and charge me 2.50 for my troubles even though I would have to go and get them. Unfortunately I wouldn’t be returning again.

Have ordered from here many times and have always been extremely happy with not only the quality of the food, but also the quantity. Always arrives hot fresh and tasty, chicken kebab meat and chips, a burger and spicy chicken wings was my order the other night, and it was just sublime. Rarely do takeaways get it right every time, but hats off to them they have never failed me.

I order from here often, today I ordered a chicken kebab and a donner kebab, but they accidentally sent two chicken ones. I called them and although I ordered through just eat, the guy made a new one and delivered it himself 14 minutes after I called them. Amazing service thank you so much!

Placed an order at 10.30pm on the website and still waiting for food at 23.40pm and money has been taken and no food has been delivered

Ordered a medium pizza with Deliveroo and asked for a cheesy crust. Did not receive the cheesy crust and the medium pizza was like a small one. Even called them twice because they were late but didn’t answer. Save your money!

So I ordered and payed £21 on Deliveroo for a pizza as I was working till late, It arrived 30mins later the pizza was 4 small slices?! £21?! Pizza Hut finally answered the phone after numerous call attempts at 7pm the following day could hardly speak any English they have refused to help and said there not interested the same with Deliveroo I won’t be ordering from either again I’d suggest you do the same there robbing us !! REPLY: I have reverted back to deliveroo and they too refused to help and said to right a review about it so others can be warned as they have seen the pictures of what was sent out ! Reading through your other reviews I think your be getting a visit soon enough 👎

Never been there. Don't like pizza.

Pizza arrived undercooked and stuck to the box. Not edible. Pizza Hut were not interested when I complained and even sent pictures and a video and their reply was we will tell the manager how important it is to tell the team to check the food. What a joke and What a waste of my money!!

Ordered my pizza at 19.20 and was delivered at 21.10 on a Monday! They had obviously made the pizza when I ordered it though, as the dough was tough and the pizza was cold. My husband rang up to complain and was greeted with "what's the issue?" As we had eaten half of one pizza, there were four of us and we all took a piece, they offered to refund half our money, even though we had ordered two pizzas and the other one was untouched. My husband told him to keep his refund and we would not be ordering from there again! I have given them 1 star as it doesn't let you post the review without giving at least 1!

Ordered a meal at 7.55pm last night, the meal took over a hour and a half to be delivered. I phoned at 9pm to ask where my order was, the phone just kept ringing, no answer. I phoned again at 9.15pm and finally got through, they said the pizza was on its way to me. It arrived at 9.40pm, it was cold! I ended up microwaving the food to warm it back up. Just go to Dominoes, the pizza from there tastes better too.

Placed an order online at 16:54 to have the order delivered to my home address at 18:00, they never committed and the food was nearly an hour late, despite giving them an hour to prepare the order. When the order arrived it was cold, and when I opened one of the Pizza boxes I discovered a Large Cheese Bite Margarita was SEMI-EATEN with parts of it missing! Complained to the Manager who immediately was hostile and accused me of lying, no customer service skills, incredibly rude and not an ounce of understanding. She herself claimed she made my order, and told me serveral times what I was saying "wasn't possible" but when I asked her to explain why my order was cold and semi-eaten she herself went quiet. The only statement she could form was repeatedly telling me my Pizza should have 28 Cheese bites, but somehow she didn't understand and kept repeating that phrase, even when I kept telling her there was barely 20 on there. When I requested a refund, for the waiting time, the cold food, and the fact the food was contaminated upon arriving to my home semi-eaten with pieces missing, It was denied, when I asked on what grounds was I not entitled to a refund or any form of compensation, she said "they're the rules." However, the manager told me multiple times she wanted me to return the food so she could conduct an investigation! After a phone call which shouldn't have happened, she finally agreed to replace the Semi-eaten Pizza! I asked for details to contact Head Office, Customer complaints or Customer Services and the manager refused to give me the details! She told me if I was that desperate to speak to Head Office I'd have to search and look on the Pizza Hut website myself! Not once during the conversation did I receive an apology, for the service, the food or for being accused of lying. Disgusting customer service and poor quality food, I don't think anyone has had a positive experience with this branch. I'm just thankful there's many options for Takeaway Pizza in a Corby, because I'm not ordering from here again.

Been a regular customer here for a number of years until yesterday when i was sent mouldy items and then today I was accused and spoken to like a child. Was sent 2 mint sauces which had MOULD covering the top of them. Rang up, they said that someone must of accidently not put them in the bin, the manager was away, they just changed the fridge, the list of excuses was endless. Told me they would sort it and get back to me today. I gave them the chance to rectify the situation and understand the severity of it. Luckily i had ordered the pots separately, otherwise we would of ended up with mouldy yoghurt on our food which we probably wouldnt of seen, until it came back up later! They rang me today and just said to me to contact just eat and try and get a £10 refund and that I should of sent the food back. I never sent it back because my son had already eaten a handful of chips and my husband a mouthful of his food before I even opened the sauces. They offered to replace the sauces and I declined saying the food would stone cold by then. I wasnt aware at the time that everyone was then going to be unable to eat their food incase there was anymore issues with it. And they offered to replace the sauces, not the meal. Or I could have the sauces added onto my order next time. How could I eat from there again after seeing mould! It all ended up in the bin. They are treating it like they "just forgot to send the sauce", definitely not understanding the severity of sending out mouldy yoghurt. The lady that rang me today, accused me of blackmailing her for not accepting their offer of me going backwards and forwards to just eat to get a £10 refund on my nearly £35 order. Then started trying to give me a maths lesson like I'm a 5 year old child. I'm convinced she said she was recording the call as she was giving me a suitable resolution but I wasn't accepting it. She said she didn't say that so we've had to agree to disagree on that. I thought as a loyal customer who was sent mouldy items, resulting in 98% of the order going in the bin that I would of been refunded for my order. As someone who must of spent 100's of pounds with them over the years, I definitely didn't expect to be accused of blackmail and spoken down to. It's partly my fault, I should of just warned people that they are potentially eating under health standard mouldy food straight away. Generally good food, but the price changes on every visit. Literally every single time I order it's a different price. Go every 2 weeks or so. They need to have an up to date menu with real prices. Received kebabs wrapped in Naan with mould spots. We phoned them to let them know and asked them to make sure to check what they were sending out. The lady didn't want to hear it, said it was 'red cabbage'. We didn't even ask for a refund as I reported them to environmental services along with the photos due to their inability to even acknowledge the issue. Whoever is responding to these reviews, you have responded to my husbands honest review of our experience, awfully. On the call he simply informed the lady of what had happened, then asked the woman to look at the Naans, as ours were mouldy and he was never rude at all, not once. The woman was completely dismissive, kept saying 'red cabbage' So Because she wasn't listening to him, he gave up talking to her and put up his honest reivew. Very Very Bad I Got A Burger And Chips 3 Pound With No Drink Got Food Poisoned Won't Be Visiting Again And Since I Got Food Poisoned They Never Saw Me For A While Make Sure Do Never Ever Visit

Chose to order here for the first time on Just eat. Payment went through and it was stuck on awaiting confirmation. Called 15 minutes later to double check and the man on the phone said we haven't got anything through. Hung up after saying I would sort it out and immediately got a notification saying my order was unsuccessful. Would heavily recommend avoiding.

This place used to be good. Was very disappointed today. Ordered the Haroon Special Munch Box. Was meant to come with a "pizza with 1 topping of your choice", the online ordering option let us choose a pizza type, we chose the Venisera, as we wanted ham on the pizza. When received, we were told we couldn't have the Venisera, and they just gave a plain cheese pizza, no ham. The box was meant to come with a cheeseburger. There was no cheese. We selected lettuce, tomato and burger sauce for the "cheese"burger, the burger came dry as a bone, no sauce, no salad. We selected lettuce, tomato and garlic mayo for the chicken burger. That also came dry as a bone, no sauce, no salad. The box was mostly filled with dry chips with the smallest sprinkle of hard melted cheese. The donor meat was exceptionally salty. That's the last time we order from here unfortunately, unless the place improves again. Which is a shame, because their munch boxes used to be great quality.

Very rude service. Food average. Reply to the comment from owner. I was not on phone when i came in to order was on phone when came to pick up. I asked for munch box. I said 10 pound one. The guy said we don't do 10 pound one. But in leaflet there was. He said 11 pound.i did not argue. I gave 11 pound. I was standing outside as i was on phone because didn't wanted to speak on phone inside shop. The guy shouted to me angrily and the girl next to him was laughing at that. I said thank you while taking the food. The person looked away and i left. I rarely put review. I felt it was very rude.
