What a lovely restaurant in the old town of Andernach. The weather was beautiful so we had dinner outside on the terrace. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a lovely fish dish with salad and potatoes and spätzle. Very well prepared.

Last week we celebrated my in-laws diamond anniversary, and we had a fabulous evening there. In general everything was great, although there were a few moments that we had to wait pretty long for our term to be served, and an unexpected long break between our appetizers and main courses, still, our mood were not spoiled by that. Food I give 4 stars mainly that some of the dishes were too plain and we needed to add lots of salt (usually German foods taste quite salty in Asian standard) Service: No doubts! friendly staffs and the lady there got her own sense of humor which made the dinning experience very cozy. Atmosphere: This is quite tricky though. Cus we sat in the courtyard where there were lots of green flies in the evening. They don't sting, BUT when you see your green napkin rest not 5 but more than 10 of these little creatures, then you start to feel annoyed. I guess the guests next to our table suffered the most. On the other hand, the guest sitting inside won't have this issue with the flying insects.

Wow and wow. This was recommend by the staff at the hotel I was at as a great local place and it did not disappoint. This is a very local place and makes you feel like your family sitting inside or outside on the patio to the back area too. The food was excellent and the service was too. Highly recommend if you are around going there for a meal.

Food was good, but not special. Fries super salty, bread dry. Price is good. Staff was minimal. You didn't have full attention of the waitress; didn't look at us while ordering and was talking to other guest in between, just uninterested. I don't think I even noticed a smile. Garden looked nice.

Clean, practical, comfortable. Nice terrace off of the room that overlooks the garden below and the Rhein river in front. Well-stocked minibar. Lots of outlets (8) that are not being used by lamps, etc that make using laptops and charging cell phones very convenient. Management is extremely friendly. Family-owned business.

My husband and I stayed here in June and could not be any more pleased with both the room accommodations and the breakfast (included). The owners/staff were very friendly and once they figured out I didn't speak German (but my husband did), they switched to English when addressing me. Our room overlooked the Rhine River and the walking and bike path. Very pretty!

Good value for money. Room rate includes breakfast. Restaurant has outside seating area too and offers splendid views. Only minus would be the noise of the trains passing next to the Rhine River day and night

My son and I had a wonderful time on our trip to Adenau, starting with dinner at the restaurant since we were staying at their Airbnb. The ambiance felt elegant and welcoming, exceeding our expectations. We shared the sushi and sashimi for two, which included a delicious roll, and enjoyed a complimentary welcome drink thanks to our Airbnb booking. The meal was so memorable that I returned on my own a few days later to try the hearty bowl I’d noticed at a neighboring table. With a German-only menu, the staff kindly guided me and I checked photos on Google reviews to decide. I enjoyed another Vietnamese coffee, a fried dish with curry (the name escapes me), and a dessert — everything was perfect. I also took home a pork-and-noodle dish for my son, which he loved after camp. Thank you to Hung for the excellent service and enjoyable conversation during dinner. I look forward to coming back next year!

Coming from Belgium, the far Leuven :-), this is one the absolute fine dining discoveries from last years ... seldom we are so much surprised by the food experience than here. We have been to different Michelin * or ** resto's which were certainly lower quality than this one. Really every dish was a huge taste explosion and with every dish it was even getting better (which is not often the case). All dishes were full with creativity, well choosen textures and colours, perfectly dressed up ... really everything was absolutely top. Only for this restaurant we'll come back to the region. We think it is a mather of time when the chef will get his well deserved star(s).

After choosing the five course set menu it ended up with totally nine courses if we include all the greetings from the kitchen which arrived to the table. Each and every dish of the set menu was very well presented. YOSO Kitchen is significantly playing with the aromas and was surprising us with a nice feeling in our mouth when eating: sweet and salty combined with soft and crunchy food left us smiling to each other.... This stylish restaurant is well worth a visit and with a total bill of less than EUR 200, 00 for 5 course set menu and {non-alcoholic} drinks for two persons absolutely fairly priced.

We were fortunate to visit YOSO in Andernach yesterday. Chef Sarah Henke has received a Michelin star rating for her Asian inspired cuisine, so we were eager to explore. We chose a five course dinner menu each, paired with a selection of local wines. Full disclosure: we have lived in Asia and I grew up there and we love the depth and richness of flavours the local cuisine has to offer. This here, however, is not your down to earth Asian cooking style, this here is art. Each dish started by playing with our memories, taking us back to flavours we experienced in the past, pleasing our tastebuds, traveling in our minds. Then, however, comes this one, overlooked and unexpected ingredient, which joins all previous tastes into one symphony of flavour. That is what makes this gem of a restaurant unique and worth every travel. The wine pairing was impressive and well chosen. All five wines emphasized the depth of the flavours without a hint of diversion from the perfect route to culinary heaven. We loved it and will certainly be there again.

Service was extremely slow, 1h20 for food to be served for a table of 10, which is too much. When we requested an update, we received no apologies, just an estimated time we would need to wait. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere was cosy and the food! My husband declared it the best pizza since moving to Germany 5 years ago. My mother also had the pizza and said it was delicious. My baked potatoes with chicken strips (which I chose because I thought it would be a smaller amount of food) was absolute perfect. My dads only complaint was his lasagne, while delicious, was too hot 😂. We will definitely be back soon but not too soon as my waist line will suffer!

We had a wonderful time in the historical city of Andernach. The staff of Hotel Purs made us feel so welcome, the service was impeccable. Wonderful small hotel with a equally wonderful restaurant. The room was beautiful and there were small extras like welcome drinks and macaroons from the arrival to the departure. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed being able to see in the kitchen during the dinner, which was definitely one of the better ones compared to restaurants with similar accolade. If you arrive late at night you have to open the main door with your key. There won't be anyone around midnight.

Chefin) auch sehr gut 😊 Die Speisekarte ist im Baukasten-System: die Preise für die Schnitzel sind NUR für die Schnitzel, Beilagen und Salat kosten jeweils extra. Ich finde die Preise sind human, die Portionen mit Beilage und Salat vollkommen ausreichend. Ich war gut satt. 👍🏻😃 Zum "Nachtisch" habe ich mir noch einen Wodka Caramel gegönnt 😍 Mein Fazit: gute Wahl getroffen, sehr leckeres Essen genossen, nettes Gespräch mit der Chefin, ich kann das Lokal nur empfehlen!!!
