Every dish we had (tapas) was delicious. Don't miss out squid ink croquettes and special desert of the region. The waiter was very friendly and helpful and his recommendations were prefect. Our first dish came very quickly and we never waited long between the others. We got one of last walk-in tables so would recommend reserving to avoid disappointment! They are only able to accept cash tips so take some cash with you.

Lovely restaurant right at the beach promenade - was afraid it world be too touristic - but many Spanish guests as well and the food was ❤️ Very friendly staff Most of what we had was tapas portions - great for a lunch stop

Very nice tapas bar we tried to get a table in the covered part outside but was fully booked so we got a place on the tables outside. The tapas were of a good fresh quality. Staff were helpful and attentive.

We arrived at opening so it was quiet which is the only reason I’ve put 4 for atmosphere. Food was delicious and staff were really friendly and spoke excellent English. Hidden gem, would definitely come back!

On the hunt for a good fried mixed platter we stumbled across this cute little restaurant by accident and we’re still happy that we found it. It’s located a bit off the usual touristy spots what definitely adds up to the nice atmosphere. The service is lovely and the food is amazing. Portions are really big and all of that for a very reasonable price. If you are around and you’re looking for great seafood, this is the place to go. Everything about this place is first class. Lovely fresh fish supplied daily from the port that is just meters away. Excellent staff. Very Spanish. The whole evening was a great experience.

Accidentally arrived in Puerto de Mazarron around lunchtime and searched for local restaurants. Was tempted to stay on the marina but so glad we went here. Superb fish and seafood. Waiter was super helpful even through language barriers. Thank goodness for google translate! Thoroughly recommend!

This is by far the best Spanish restaurant we've been to since we've been coming to the Port of Mazarron over the past 18 years. The king prawns were the freshest, sweetest I've ever tasted in Spain and cooked to perfection. I loved all the ingredients in the paella too, especially the succulent tuna. The cheesecake was so light and the passionfruit syrup was a refreshing accompaniment to it. We really appreciated the warm and helpful service, too. We'll definitely be back again soon!

The dishes that we had were all a little different from the normal, a plate of different seaweeds, mango with raw prawns and lobster with oven potatoes and fried eggs. The flavour combinations were excellent.

Absolutely fantastic for real food lovers! For those who know Mazarron, the food is often good, but repeatable. Javi’s food is certainly a step above the rest in presentation and taste. We found the prices to be good value for such a high quality meal and experience. All staff were very friendly and professional. The octopus was absolutely sensational. Although a cold January evening, the outside heaters and protective awning worked well, and we sat outside. From the moment we arrived the very helpful friendly staff were brilliant, menu choices were very good, clearly from the open display cabinets and tanks the food was fresh, showing the catch of the day! Service and cuisine were amazing. I loved having a hot plate to get my steak to how i like it. The prices are what is expected from such quality and experienced restaurant, the service was very good indeed. If you have a special occasion to celebrate, this is the place to come! Easy free parking, easy access, sea views. What is stopping you? 🤩

Stopped for lunch by chance. What a lovely restaurant, service and food . I had the marinated sardines followed by monkfish , vegetables and potatoes, chocolate cake and coffee. It all tasted delicious. Hubby had the grilled sardines and the marinated chicken with potatoes and veg, mango ice-cream and coffee. Wine, cola and water. I couldn’t fault it. The owner offered us two , I think they were liqueurs, one for digestion and a lemon one, I liked the digestion one…. Very full, very lovely. They have inside and outside seating with comfortable chairs and linen tablecloths and napkins. Would go again for a special treat. They also played really nice music. What’s not to like.

Had a selection of delicious starters between 4 had about 6 plates and some chips. Food was wonderful and service excellent the owner is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Finished with chocolate volcano pudding which should be banned for how delicious it was. The restaurant is in a lovely position with parking just across the road. Had a great time.

We had lunch 2 times in this restaurant. It has a big choice in fresh fish , like monkfish, turbot, lobster, oysters, clams. Also nice vegetables and good wines. Very friendly chef that helped us with translation from the Spanish menu to English ( still not our native language but helpful ! ) All food was delicious. The first time scallops, razor fish, turbot and black tagliatelle full with seefood. This time oysters, scallops, artichoke with foie, thereafter monkfish. Great !

Outstanding food and service. Best eating experience we have had Mazarrón. I had the pollo, so delicious and fresh. Followed by the mango ice cream which was also delicious. The owner was so accommodating, so friendly and really made us feel welcome.

We had a fantastic time at La Siesta!! The food was absolutely delicious, with a view on the sea and wonderful service. The waiters, Victor and Jamila, were very friendly and helpful! We absolutely loved our time there and highly recommend it!!! Thank you for such a lovely experience!!

The service was chaotic and inattentive — everything went wrong. Our dishes didn’t arrive at the same time, the main course was served together with the starter, and the food was cold. The price-quality ratio was completely off. We had to wait three hours(!) for our food, with little kids. To top it all off, the bill was incorrect as well. There was one lady who genuinely tried her best, but the rest of the staff didn’t seem to care. A real shame, as we had high expectations for this restaurant — but it was a huge disappointment. We will definitely not be coming back, and we won’t be recommending this place to anyone in our circles or reading this.

The service was very poor. The waiter was literally rolling their eyes and be visibly annoyed because we took longer than they expected to decide on starters for a group of six with only one person speaking Spanish who had to translate back and forth between us and the waiter. Then they forgot about my main and only brought it to me when the group finished their plates 😅 The food was good though.

Terrible, terrible food. Aberdeen Angus Empanada starter was not freshly made at all, it tasted days old. Reheated, dry filling, it tasted 'off'. Really poor 'chimichurri' sauce... Just oil with a few herbs. I'm English and I make better chimmichurri and steak at home! Steaks were tough, my partner couldn't eat much of his steak as was cooked way too rare, in fact it was raw. Then came back RAW a second time. Frozen chips served with the steak are criminal and no good chef would allow this. Extra portions of 'Fries' were soggy potato fritters. '3 sauces' was 2 portions of garlic mayo and a portion of bbq sauce. 'Cheesecake' dessert was a hybrid between a cheese soufflé, a Yorkshire pudding and a cheese scone. Not at all as described. Just a terrible experience... would never return. Managers/ owners... You should be ashamed

We chose to go for our Christmas 🎄 dinner at the Palenque. We weren't disappointed. A glass 🥂 on arrival plus five delicious courses. We tried almost every option and we shared. Each course was spectacular. A free bottle of wine and a free gin afterwards. All for €30. What an absolute and special bargain. We will definitely be back in 2024. 💝

Went with a group of 12 guests for a Steak's evening. The Steaks were great, and good value for money. The following evening my wife and I went for a Pizza, unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. Lessons learned. Great place for Steaks, but if you aim for a delicious Pizza, find another place.

We were eating early and prebooked a table. We arrived and were the only customers at first. We were shown to our table which was unstable so we informed the waitress who put a wedge under one leg. We placed our orders for steaks and starters. The starters arrived but we had to ask for cutlery. The starters were quite tasty but obviously pre-prepared and reheated. The Rib eye steak was very nice, as expected of a Steak house style restaurant, however the other, Argentinian specialty steak was inedible. The waitress tried her best. I am not one who likes to make a fuss but did quietly raise the issue. My wife was offered any other replacement meal, but this meant eating separately so we just shared mine. We were still charged for all but my wife's chocolate cake dessert. We will not be going back.

Very good place. Very busy on a Saturday evening. Excellent service from the lovely Clara who went out of her way to make the four of us feel welcome. Very good food served in good time. Would recommend.

We asked for starters and a main course. We got the starter and the main course all at once + the starter of my husband we got mid eating of main course. It took ages to get someone at the tabel.

We have eaten here a few times every meal has been excellent friendly staff it can be very busy in high season but worth the wait

First time here, had menu del dia. Can't fault it but a bit jealous of some of the dishes coming out to other tables. Guess we'll go Carte next time

Seafood paella for three was spectacular. Good selection of wines at a reasonable price. Lunch deal (starter, main, dessert) + espresso or drink, 13 EUR. Staff could be a little more polite but food is the most important here :) Beware of quite a few heavy smokers if you sit outside! Opening quite late after 9 pm and it's closed on Thursdays.

Seven of us went to the restaurante this evening, all had paella (fish and vegan). Food was delicious, freshly cooked, the service was excellent and the ambiance perfecto 👌 can't wait to go again. Gracias

This place is very busy (waiting time) and a bit loud, but the food quality overall is good. The meat was actually very average, but that's not a good choice in the south anyway. We had various types of seafood tapas which were all great.

Good selection with most dishes always hot and topped up often. Pleasant staff and parking right outside the restaurant. Would go again.

Good choice also a chef to cook fresh meat fish or vegetables. Self serve so you can choose from the buffet

Fresh food a plenty !! Just delicious and well worth the visit. Great selection of foods available. Fresh food cooked as you wait amazing service and a Chocolate Fountain too. Great value for money and we even got a Bottle of Red Wine after paying the bill !!

The best all you can eat buffet I've had. Not only do they have the usual pre-prepared items but you can also fill a plate with raw fish, meat and veg and have it cooked to your liking in a sauce if your choosing!

We had heard so many good things about this place we just had to try it. We were seated right away and they went and got a high chair for our 17 month old daughter without us having to ask however the rest was so disappointing. We were seated to the right of the restaurant then we noticed every other guest that entered after us where taken to the left of the restaurant and looked after very well (away from the baby I imagine) it was so uncomfortable to sit in an empty space trying to gain the attention of a member of staff. Not one waitress attended to us from the moment we went in to when we left. We were still sitting with our starter and mains plates when we were eating our dessert. The drinks we ordered when we entered were taken up so much space we had to put them on our daughters high chair and take her out, one got spilled. The food was so dry and had no labelling at the buffet counters to help you decide what to eat. We won't be returning, the only positive I have for this place is the bill. It is so reasonable and they don't charge for the baby eating.

This place was just awesome. You can pick which foods you'd like to eat by choosing from a range of meat, fish and vegetables and then take it to the Chef who would stir fry it for you so it's nice and hot. Also you get a choice of sauces in which your food is cooked. Presentation of foods was delightful to see with everything looking so lovely and fresh and such a wide choice to choose from, which meant something for everyone. I couldn't see plain boiled rice so asked a waitress if there was any to which she went off and returned with a portion of hot boiled rice. The staff were very polite and made sure all of our needs were met. This is the best buffet I have ever been to and will go again.

Gotta be ine of the best bargains. Quality excellent, very clean and amazing choices. The hot sour soup is to die for, in fact it's all magnificent.

Stopped here last night having passed the place many times before. It was very quiet as its still out of season. The food was excellent, we had a selection from the extensive list of tapas. From the scallops to the tuna salad everything was great. The waitress was attentive an polite. We even got an impromptu firework display. Definitely worth the visit

A really great restaurant. We've been several times and tried quite a few different dishes. All of them superb. The fish dishes especially good. The staff are friendly and efficient. Especially Oscar who couldn't be more helpful. All in all a truly wonderful experience and I can highly recommend.

We had the menu of the day lunch 15€, fish mousse, cod filets and vienneta style ice cream for dessert, coffee all round. Lovely lunch , beautiful views and great service , good prices will come again xxx🇯🇲🇬🇧

Really warm welcome and superb food ftom start to finish. Selection of smoked fish and clams with garlic were exceptional. "Lenguado" was super impressive. And homemade desserts were deliscious. Incredible meal and excellent service. Highly recommended.

Stopped for lunch, had a couple of tapas and cod pie, different choices which we liked, and tasty.

And another fantastic eatery for us to highly recommend in Puerto de Mazarrón. Great Matrimonia Marinera (not on the menu but happily made for us), chipiron (baby squid) & gambas (prawns) croquetas, delightful Tomate Temporada made with local heritage tomatoes and the best cold-pressed olive oil, the star of the show, Pulpo a la brasa both tender and then grilled and served "a la gallega" with potatoes, paprika and olive oil (and the best octopus we've tasted through out Spain!) and finally finished with kid (goat) rib chops. A huge meal served at a wonderful pace for us to enjoy. The waiter, Manchester, friendly, helpful and welcoming. No pics, sorry!

Really good food. We didn’t opt for the menu del dia just ordered a few tapa off the main menu. The Russian Salad was beautiful, as were the croquettes. Prawns pil pil were delicious.

Decided to try this place as it was in a great location and enjoyed it so much were went back to celebrate my birthday. Party of 6 and we all loved out meals. The paella was superb and my wife's pork chop was perfectly cooked and tasted outstanding. Definitely recommended this place.

Accidentally ended up here as the restaurant we wanted was closed. Well I’m glad it was, as this place was amazing. Staff were very attentive, food was unreal and the service was quick. There was 7 of us. We all had different starters and loved them all. We then ordered mixed paella for 4, chicken paella for 2 and one of the boys had a steak. The steak was cooked to perfection and so tasty. Both paella’s were amazing, so much and so flavorful. We took home what we couldn’t eat as it was so good! The wine was lovely and the beers were HUGE! We paid €35 each and that was including a tip.I will definitely be going back and recommending to everyone.

We keep coming back to this place. For both lunch and dinner! Friendly staff, good food and an absolutely amazing setting just by the sea. Perfect for bringing friends, family and celebrations.

The waitress was aggressive when we said we have no reservation, in completely empty restaurant, outside area. This was last week, we went with our friends. The shared salads supposed to be with krokets and proper ham, in our plate was no krokets and ham was cheapest mortadela. Salmon (16euros) was frozen and very hard to eat. Pica was OK , with a lot of burned sides. Not recommended for the food for anyone , just for view 😔

The restaurant is hidden away in the small marina but is well worth seeking out. Good range of Italian food. Great views over the sea and friendly service. Best croquettes we’ve had.

First visit and very impressed. The outdoor dining area is covered and on a windy or cold day it has drop down blinds to protect you. Great food, nice people..amazing views!!

We called in for a latish lunch. Fortunately we have been before and knew we were in for a treat. If we had not we would have left as it took nearly 10 minutes before anybody acknowledged our presence and considered seating us. There was obviously tables available. We considered leaving but I really wanted to eat here. Once seated the service was good and the food excellent. The starter was beautifully presented and our pizzas were stunning. The beers and the coffees were as expected and arrived in good time. A welcoming smile and a “Hello!” goes a long way and then we’d happily wait.

Recommend booking at weekend as was quite busy. Staff pleasant and helpful. Menu has good varied choices and food was nicely presented. Lovely sea views.

I have to eat gluten-free and it is always a challenge to find a restaurant to eat anything other than a salad. This place has it! They have the best gluten-free pizza I have ever had. You can pick any pizza you want from the menu and have it gluten-free. They also serve gluten-free beer.

Haven’t tried the food yet but the cocktails are the most well priced in the area. The mojitos are by far the best I have ever tried with flavour options to spice it up and all of them taste amazing. The staff are all friendly and patient with you too if your English.

Excellent meal and so reasonably priced. Ate here previously and decided to return, despite being advised of an hour wait we asked if we could sit in the nice Moroccan themed canopy which was no problem and we only waited about 25 minutes. Ordered our meals and unfortunately 1 main meal was missed and not noted. However we had enough and it was delicious. We were not rushed and staff friendly and accommodating. Such a pleasure to have left fully satiated at less than half the price of a another restaurant a stones throw away that rips people off with poor food and service. Do yourself a favour and take time to visit this lovely restaurant, highly recommended.

This is my favourite restaurant on the marina. The food is incredible, such an interesting blend of flavours. The staff are so attentive and unobtrusive and the atmosphere right on the beach is truly exotic. Give it a go, you won't regret it!

Lovely frozen strawberry margaritas and friendly service. The latte was good too. Right next to the beach. Reasonably priced but doesn't take card so slightly disadvantaged to other places nearby.

Tasty Moroccan food and grill in a nice ambiente. Located near the beach at the port. Outside terrace under a Moroccan tent. Recommended.

Just to pu this into Context, I’m from the UK and I am a regular visitor to Spain. Ok so my experience was as follows. The food was good (I order a Dhall Mekhani and Chicken Punjabi with a Mushroom rice ). The service was also good. So why only one Star? When it came paying for the food I pay with my UK Monzo Card. On the Card machine which I was presented with it gives you the choice to pay in Euros or Pounds. As soon as I told to Waiter that I wanted to pay in Euros he told me they would charge me an extra 3 %. THIS IS A SCAM!!!

One of the best meals I've ever had. The meal here was absolutely amazing the starters were amazing and the mains were unbelievable. There is so much choice and the flavours are beautiful. Service is great as always, the same downstairs. Atmosphere is buzy but nice. Only thing I would mention, when ordering the side potions we found that they could be shared by at least two if not more.

Spice villa is without doubt ( I have tried all the others) the best Indian restaurant in the area. In fact, possibly one of the best Indian restaurants I have visited. I regularly visit and the quality is consistent. Lamb is always tender. Service is always spot on. The staff are top notch. If you like a bit of heat, make sure you tell them when ordering as sometimes can be a bit milder than you might expect, but always great blend of spices and flavours nonetheless. 10/10 always. Oh, and the mango cream is awesome!

The staff were fantastic and very prompt Unfortunately the food (take away) was a disappointment, lamb dhansak was bland it wasn’t even close to the flavour it should have been and the mushroom rice was a shameful attempt the rice was like a microwave packet with some canned mushrooms put in it. Naans were ok But a 50min wait, utterly disappointed

Beautiful restaurant, suitable for a romantic date-night. Indu food is very good and tgey offer an early-bird (19.30) if you want it. The downstairs twined restaurant Piccalos is also fabulous and you can mix if you want. Very nice place. Get in.

What a nightmare we had , my husband booked a table for 20.00 . We arrived, sat down the waitress came over with the menu and we ordered a jug of sangria. That came ,then a lady came over and said we dont serve food until 20.45 and took the menus away , we sat there untill 20.45 the the waitress came back we ordered salad, potato bravo , Calamari frito with salad , no 3 ham and cheese croquettes. We said can we have them all together please. Well the salad came out ,which was really nice , then the croquettes came out 10 mins the potatoe bravo came out by this time it was 21.25 im still waiting for my frito Calamari. I asked twice for them .it was 21.45 by then ,i said to my husband i dont want my food lets go , so I went up to the bar and said i dont want my food now we payed and left , there were about 5/ 6 people in the kitchen as well ,only 4 tables of people ,so it wasnt even busy i there . Will not be returning

Booked online, the restaurant rang to ask if we wanted to pre-order paella, what an amazing location, right on the beach, although when we went it was raining, but they have an inside restaurant as well as outside, so it was no problem. Service was really good, the food was excellent. Prices above average, but you can taste the difference. Restaurant decor full of character and toilet facilities were very good. Wheelchair access to main restaurant. Free Parking nearby. We will be back for sure.

Paid for sunbeds and umbrellas but unable to buy food as all tables reserved.... On website it states take away available but this is not the case! Happy to take your money for sunbeds and umbrellas though, very poor customer service. We will not return.

Lovely beach bar, food great, staff Very Very Good. Love that they have sun beds, the bar further up the beach have better beds, but food and staff no comparison.

OMW, I'm speechless. The paella is just too amazing for words. The restaurante is indeed rural and the cooking done over an open fire. Last week we had gran chuleton (what we know as standing rib of beef in UK) big enough to share between 2 greedy appetites or 3 normal ones. We went with 2 greedy! To start a heritage tomato salad served with bonito or salt cured tuna which is a bit "marmite" - I loved it, other half didn't as it was "too fishy" for him. This week we opted for a mixed salad to share followed by rice. They do a speciality of arroz or paella Chato de Murciano - tender chunks of local pork (Chato) on the bone in a saffron paella. It was perfectly cooked with it's own delicate layer of socrat (slightly crusty, very well cooked rice stuck to the bottom of the pan). Destacado! (Outstanding!). Worth every cent and more. Reservations essential. No printed menu - the waiter will tell you what's available that day. Do also try their honey. A large jar from their own bees €10 (May 2025). Delicate, delicious and not too sweet (as strange as that sounds).

Delightful true Spanish restaurant. The staff were very friendly and informative. The food was delicious and plentiful. Need to go back for the paella. Everything was cooked over wood burner which gave a fantastic flavour to the food.

A hidden place, casa de campo. Very good food, a little more expensive but we ordered the lamb ribs so is quiet expensive from itself. Normaly we had to reserve, but I didnt know, but we were still welcome to stay and eat. The food really was great, staff as well.

Fantastic authentic Spanish restaurant. For paella, it is necessary to make a reservation. I had the rib eye steak. Will return tomorrow for the paella.

Having just had lunch at this eatery we can definitely recommend Casa Blass, all cooked over coals, if you like meat this is a haven

We visited this restaurant twice recently. First of all, my wife being gluten free could not choose anything off of the starter menu. Her favourite is the vodka salmon sin gluten pasta from the main menu. Our second trip we booked a table for 9 which on arrival was only set for 8. Not happy with the attitude of the owner or the staff. Also they charged 4 euros 50 cents for a small bowl of plain pasta. No kids menu. Won't be returning.

Make sure you make a reservation for the roof terrace to have dinner. If not, there is probably only place inside.

Went there for the second time 2 days ago. We were 5 people, 3 adults and 2 children. We ordered pizza, pasta and fish. First of all we got one pasta carbonara for one of the kids and one pizza for one adult. Then we waited, and waited and waited. 30 minutes later we got one more pizza for the other child, with chili, even if we said that they need to take the chili away since the boy is just 5 years old. He couldn’t eat it. By this time the first pizza is ice cold and the two other adults hasn’t gotten their food yet. 15 minutes later (45 minutes after the first pasta and pizza) the last pasta and fish arrived. We explain them that this is not the way to run a restaurant, as we wish to eat all together and it’s basic “restauranting” to be able to organize so that the whole company eats fairly on the same time. All we got from the manager was sorry, no discount, nothing. The worst part was that it was very quiet, not a lot of guests at all. We didn’t eat the food, payed and will never go to this very amateur place ever again.

Menu of the day was very tasty and good value at €11 for 3 courses.

Very disappointed this time. Not worth the money. The prices have increased but the portions have decreased drastically instead. We ate fish and chips. What used to be served as a "medium" portion for several years is now served and costs as a "large". How small portion do you get than, when you order size "small"? It feels as if you were "robbed" of money. The owner is also always seen with a glass of wine or beer and is more or less under the influence of alcohol.

Our first time at Elliots for their Menu del dia. The Food was absolutely amazing, the lovely Emma was very attentive with excellent customer service from start to finish. David's cooking was fantastic. We had the Cod bites and barbeque chicken wings to start, followed by the steak and ale pie, then dessert of bread pudding and hot cherries with ice cream. Elliot's is a must try restaurant. All the food I have eaten has been the best since I have been in Spain. Best fish and chips, Sunday roast and English breakfast all great, going again soon.

A fantastic little restaurant which is open for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. A simple English menu with all food "homemade" & cooked to order. Very good service & dog friendly on the terrace. The Fish & Chips & Sunday Roasts are famous locally. Definitely "not" the Chips with everything usual English Bar Food, they really do try hard to give you a good balanced selection of reasonably priced great tasting food... although the homemade chips that they do serve are fab..!

A bit chilly in January, even inside, but the food was hot and tasty. Side dishes 94 & 99 are inspiring. Recommended. Back again.... Early September. New terrace outside looks smart. A few changes of staff, but very good. Afraid we were too hungry to take many pictures. Nom, nom.

Highly recommended. One of the best I've tried in Spain (top 5 easily) and better than many I've tried in UK. If you like your food spicy they are capable of making spicy while maintaining great flavour. My phaal was very good.

A place you wouldn't want to return to. The pizza was more like soup or porridge, and when we ordered Coca-Cola, we got Pepsi instead. The chefs and owners should visit a proper pizzeria to see how it can be made.

Finally tried the famous Asiatico coffee (Asiático is an alcoholic drink made out of coffee, it is typical from the Spanish city of Cartagena and very representative of the cuisine of the Campo de Cartagena - Wikipedia). It was made with so much patience and love and the taste was amazing!! If you love coffee and a bit of alcohol, then this is a must try whenever you're in the region of Cartagena. Loved it! Really good first visit for takeaway pizza. The dough was really light and fluffy so it made the very large pizza not feel stodgy and heavy. Definitely recommend and will visit again for a sit down meal very soon.

Went for my birthday . Big table. Ordered prawns to start but never came and was on the bill. Was taken off the bill with no issues however. Ordered "the good burger" and it looked good but the burger was uncooked in the middle (had the distinct ,red uncooked mince colour . Would try again as friends meals were really good they said

A fantastic place to celebrate, decorations, balloons and sprinkles laid on with a cake and Roman candle!! Gave a great atmosphere. Service was great, food was excellent, no complaints at all from the whole group. We had a great time, lovely surroundings, and Bulgarian crockery makes it look special. Well this is a fairly special place. It's interior is very modern and the food is highly creative with many local delicacies. If that is what you are looking for, rather than a typical Spanish tapas bar, this place will be a great experience.

It's not hidden, loads of parking spots nearby, and the service is good: things that could make going there to enjoy its excellent food a bad experience are not a good reason! They have tapas, super tapas, menú de tapas, daily menu, kids menu...it's hard to choose not because they have loads of dishes but because it seems that the team took their time planning the menus. Definitely worth the detour if you are in Cartagena or La Azohia.

Take a microscope to see the maki filling...the salmon was non existent. I went a few years ago and the sushi was twice the size!!! so disappointed! Also needs a serious lighting renovation. It's a restaurant not an operating theatre. Go see La Siesta - it's a great example of owners investing in their business.

Lianne & I enjoyed a lovely and different lunch last Saturday. We ordered a mix of sushi, dumplings, gyros, and a dessert. I also tried two small specials from the additional sushi list. The white wine choice, which was the house wine was good value and complemented our food. When we have friends or family visiting we will certainly take them to try the food. The atmosphere was quiet as we were on the outside terrace with our dog, Spot. Thank you for being pet friendly.

Ignorance on a huge scale. Not busy when we visited. Shown to a table and given menus. After that... Nothing! We had long sincd decided on the wine and food we wished to order.... We watched the waiter who gave us the menu, serving peopld who arrived after us. Even more unacceptable was the sight of a colleague who paid NO attention to the needs of customers as she talked to 2 customers (clearly friends or relatives)... This pathetic state of affairs continued until we stood up to leave... Did anyone ask why we were going... Of course not... The woman who was chattering continued to do so and the waiter... Well, I hadn't seen him for a while!!! In our opinion, you would be well advised to give your support to those establishments that truly value your custom.

Good dishes with a reasonable price

Pizzas aren't nice ones. All the ingredients and the pizza itself are frozen product. Garlic bread is just another pizza, not real garlic bread. They have nice dwcoration with candles and lights, but thats all.

We enjoyed our lunch here so much. Staffs are friendly and attentive even it's super busy that day. We enjoyed our arroz caldoso and paella so much. And please, do leave room for desserts! Overall, this is an excellent place for family gatherings. it's located right next to the pier so it's so nice to take a little walk around after meal.

Awful, stuck up little restaurant within the harbour area. Went today for lunch as a family, however the rude and curt small man who works there initially turned his nose up at us we went to ask for a table. Having then looked each of us up and down he proceeded to point us towards a table at the far end where no one else was sat! We then declined and went elsewhere based on his attitude which was bad. Therefore I am unable to comment on the food but I would rather spend my money elsewhere. Perhaps the ‘waiter’ should not judge his customers, this is not a Michelin star restaurant.

Worst EVER NEW YEARS EVE. Absolutely disgraceful service. Rude staff member and annoying customer who was drunk and spoilt our evening coming over to our table. In the end other customers had to try and remove abusive customer. Staff did nothing. Took over 1hour to order. We left before dessert was served due to the atmosphere. Never ever again. We had to pay 10 euro deposit. Avoid at all costs.

I went to eat there yesterday with my family and it was Delicious and so good! The food was amazing the woman that owned the restaurant explained the food and where it’s from and recommended something on the menu. She also said that the food is always made in house nothing is frozen and that is just amazing I can highly recommend that you try this place!

What a refreshing experience! I wish I'd asked the lady's name. She's like your mum. She's like your auntie that wants to sneak you sweets when your mum isn't looking! Sanguchon. Big sandwich. We felt unwelcome, even the guy who brought our drinks was dull and unhappy. When we finished our food, a lovely young girl with arms covered in very nice tattoos, came and took our plates away, she was extremely polite and very friendly, just a shame the other staff can’t be as nice. I think the owner needs to teach the staff some customer care skills, as there are none. Also, use better pizza toppings.

Very good prices. 2,50 eur / pint of beer, 2,50 eur / glass of red wine ( cheaper wine quality though). The pizza with prawns and mussels was good, and costs 7 euros. I asked for garlic sauce, they brought it in a minute. Friendly and hard-working staff. 2 toilets only for such big restaurant can be a problem.

We thought that this was supposed to open at 18:30? We arrived with a party of 10 at 19:20 on a Friday night and waited outside for 15 mins. Still not open so we went elsewhere. Owners kindly informed us that they are not open to the public till 20:00. we will try to visit again with the correct timings. :-) We went back at the right times and it was excellent.

We really enjoyed our meal at Pizzaron. Despite being a busy Saturday lunchtime, the service was quick and friendly. We ordered a mixed salad, which was packed with fresh ingredients and dressed with a yummy marie rose sauce. We also had pizzas, which were very generously topped and full of flavour. We will definetly eat there again in the future.

Great location and ambiance, with fast service on busy nights. The only problem is the pizza! Both my boyfriend and I had sub-mediocre pizza, made with cheap ingredients. Edit: I should have said that I base my review on years of travel and a dedicated love of pizza. I feel quite confident that I'm capable of recognizing when a pizza has cheap ingredients, in my case, salami on it. Don't believe me? Ask yourself - should quality salami leave pink stains on the pizza?

Beautiful location, opposite the sea and beach, this restaurant offers a large terrace, ideal for social distancing, you can either just have drinks outside, or pre dinner drinks, you can also eat outside too. Inside bright and clean with a varied shape of tables, to suit any occasion. Currently there is a QR code on the table to replace a menu, whilst adhering to covid19 safety measures, along with hand sanitizer at the doorway. Attentive staff supplied us with drinks and took our order, the menu of the day offers a good choice, at a very reasonable price, and without skimping on the rations either. Take away option available. I've been on a few occasions and it doesn't disappoint. My custom will continue.

Almost everything was fine. Nice staff, quick service, and always clean tables. The interior of the establishment. The interior of the establishment is quite pretty and clean both inside the establishment and on the terrace. The only disadvantage of the terrace is that it is impossible to sit there at the moment because of the large number of mosquitoes, but it is not a problem for the establishment. 4 stars because Padtai doesn't look like what it should be, just noodles with tomato sauce, vegetables, and nuts taste. And the rollitos de gambas has almost no taste and a lot of breading. The food in the rest is good and inexpensive.

Today was our fourth visit to Nosss Fuimos and as always we had a fantastic meal. The food is authentic and beautifully cooked. Today we had a range of their tapas -the tortillas and croquetas were wonderful. This is all with a fantastic view, great friendly service and good value.

We had read the recommendations for Nosss Fuimos on Tripadvisor so decided to have our lunch there today. Everything was fantastic: the service was prompt, courteous and friendly. Help with our choices was really appreciated (‘croqetas’ had a number of fillings and we chose crab as recommended which were absolutely delicious). The patatas bravas (or simply ‘bravas’ on the menu) are always one of our favourites and again they were excellent. I think the star of the lunch for both of us was probably the ‘tortilla bacalao’ (cod) The tempura de verduras was another fantastic dish. We were just sorry to be too full to try the desserts. We will certainly be back. This was an outstanding meal, in a lovely spot with service that Nosss Fuimos should be extremely proud of.

Our experience was a tale of 2 nights- the first was a culinary delight.. Steak cooked perfectly rare 👌 The following visit we opted for the mixed paella. It was a very moreish dish however not to our taste. The restaurant is modern and u can eat inside or out. Toilets are spotless and staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a look.

Can't agree with the 5 star reviews because we had rabo di ternera and merluza a la plancha and there was not much meat or fish on the plate with "only" chips to accompany the dish. No salad or vegies! Much too little. The price was 14€ and 14.50€ respectively!!! For the bread (three small cubes consumed) we were charged 1.50€ !! That is a no go! Service, food and location were according to standard, though. Nothing outstanding.

Only went as part of the Fiestas de Milagros ruta de la tapa. I will definitely return for a meal as the tapa, service and restaurant were excellent.

Terrible, terrible, terrible service. Such a shame. It’s a beautiful setting, listening to the motion of the waves. The food was good when they eventually got the order right! They had 3 goes at it. We only wanted egg and chips. They have made an amazing effort to create a great beach setting, but the service is abominable and not friendly.

Visited with my Grandparents, really beautiful place, friendly, attentive staff who were really patient with our terrible Spanish. New favourite spot and the beach is a dreamy addition.

Lovely pizza. Could maybe have more choices of pizza, but that's just my veiw. Lovely place and atmosphere. Service was very slow. First time I went in February i had tapas. It was awful and seemed like it had come out of a bag . Other food is lovely though. My advice, don't eat the tapas.

Highly recommend the pizzas. However they're too busy for their own good, 15 minutes before drink taken, just about to walk out, when they came over, after taking the order from a couple that came in after us🤔 not sure about coming back. Especially when it's a bit like a building site, creating tables around you while you're eating.

Have been here several times before but it has really gone down hill. Despite booking a table got sat outside in awful seats and had to wait a long time for anyone to come & serve us. They served others that came in after us before us. We won't be coming back here again. We normally spend around €50 plus and leave a big tip. My tip this time is to treat all customers the same.

Very disappointed to post this poor review. Our reservation for my husband's birthday was not registered. We weren't offered a menu. There was no price list. The waitress was that busy I had to show her a picture of the steak on Google. The steak was good, the trimmings were poor, chips came well after. The wine waiter was not helpful. I was summoned to a cabinet to make a choice without a price list. Awful service which spoiled a special occasion.

Well what can I say, the food in this place was very good but the service was awful. We were a party of 6 and there were only another 4 tables busy when we arrived so service should've been good. But we were there for 2hrs 30 mins. Staff bringing wrong food and drinks to our table and even forgetting to bring our order out when some of the party were half-way through theirs. On top of this only 2 of us had dessert but the staff only brought 1 out and we had to wait another 25 mins for the other after complaining. Then waited 15 mins for the bill. Defo won't go there again all due to the service.

We all like the restaurant, service was fast and kind. Way better than expected!! Maybe a bit more of pepperoni would help the pepperoni pizza, but still good. Desserts were also good: brownie and coulant

This is the 2nd time l've visited La Proa which has 180° view from the bow(la proa) shaped promontory. Both times they were more than happy to accommodate my non menu requests. They were friendly & showed no criticism of my limited Spanish even though their English was almost non-existent. Their toilet facilities were clean & tidy.

Staff always very friendly and attentive, food is okay and at a reasonable price. Excellent location with fantastic sea views. Always made welcome.

Second visit and the food and service were stunning and exceeded expectations. I had beef tacos to start and then mushroom risotto with sea bass. All lovely What a gem of a restaurant we will be back. Only problem was I paid with credit card then realised I didn’t have any cash for a tip. Will be back just to leave a massive tip next time.

We went as a group of 7 for the early bird menu for €21.50 and it was amazing value for food. The food was all yummy and of good quality. Only complaint from the group was that the burger patties were extremely large and slightly dry. Other than that, for the price and quality and good service it was lovely.

Wow.... we came here twice when in Spain and this really is a place that you'll be coming too for great food. We had lunchtime menu of the day and the quality and quantity of food is unbelievable for the price you pay and the presentation is amazing too. This is a lovely restaurant with a great variety of meats and seafood. The portions are enormous. The grilled meats and milanesas are excellent. We also had a fabulous salad with Cantabrian anchovies, artichokes and gem lettuce. Service is very friendly. They also offer traditional paellas to go.

Popped in during siesta for lunch. We tried sea bass, canneloni and chicken, and all of them were above expectations. Best meal of the holiday. Straciatella cake for desert was great as well.

One of the best seafood restaurants in Spain. Fresh fish, wonderfully cooked dishes and I a lovely service. The chef came to ask my brother and I about the food which topped up the experience. It was first time in Mazarrón but, I'll definitely return to La Vuelta.

Fantastic original food in a chic but friendly atmosphere. Be it a family get together or a special occasion this restaurant will deliver. Eduardo and all his staff are super friendly and helpful. Highlights of this meal were the tuna cheeks mains, the Japonesa ensalidilla starter and the chocolate fondant desert. Our youngest at 8 months enjoyed her spaghetti too! Highly recommended, go eat, ...now!

Service was terrible. Had to ask 3 times for our drinks. 2 of the meat options on the menu were unavailable and it's not a huge menu to start with. Kids meals were tiny (5 chips). Nice setting but would not return.

Wonderful food and service. You'd be tempted to lick your plate clean. Also highly appreciated that the waiter let me try my Spanish but could also perfectly speak English and knew the whole menu by head. The dessert was the litteral cherry on top and I can highly recommend either the pistachio coulant or the lemon sorbet with rum. Definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu!

We moved to the port 6 weeks ago and pass this restaurant on our way to the beach every day. We went for a meal tonight n ordered the Murcian baked fish which was disappointing to put it mildly. It was 19e on the menu but we were charged 22e for it each because I complained about my chocolate gateaux which was stale on one side n could not eat. We can only assume he was retrieving the cost of the dessert. We will not be going back there!

The place is nice the service is amazing so is the staff but the food is not good the chicken was raw and the burger was one I could just make at home the only thing I would order there is the pizza but everything else was tasteless the paella wasn't that good but apart from that a lovely place

On our trip to Mazarrón, we decided to dine in by the beach, and this restaurant was great. We don’t speak spanish and the owner of the restaurant (i assume) immediately helped us out. We ordered a steak and the grilled calamari and both were perfectly cooked. The food was delicious and the vibes were great. Not to mention how friendly both of the staff were. Highly recommend!

This restaurant was by far one of the best things on our holiday in Spain. We travelled here for tattoos and decided to try for dinner as my partner is German... It was insanly awesome. The waitress was funny, kind and very very well organised. The owner came to say hello and he was lovley, asked how we wanted our meat and the staff always made sure we were happy! Very nice place. The guy is Spanish but grew up in Germany and speaks great English. The menue is, in a sense, German food Spanish style. Plates are designed lovely and of course they also have some typical Spanish options. The place is of course also great just for a coffee or cappuccino or a cold beer.

A truly awful restaurant!! The staff are miserable, never ever smile. If you ask for anything it seems too much trouble. I ordered 2 beers and a menu, the beers were finally brought up and slammed down on the table by a waiter aged around late fifties who seems to have a problem with Brits. He did not bring a menu.
