Two years ago, everything you touched and tasted in this place was gold! Nowadays, either eating in or ordering out, the outcome is a gamble! One day maybe you’ll find the good chef, literally 2 days later you find the absolute mess!! Tread with caution and pray for the good chef!!

Delicious food in a simple environment. You wouldn’t know that this restaurant even existed walking past…Its front is completely covered in plants and greens, almost like a secret garden! Every detail, from the incredible food to the excellent service, came together to make our visit unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic and delicious Italian culinary adventure.

The food is delicious, the service is excellent, really tasty italian cuisine.

Generally the dishes were delicious. We ordered crocchette di formaggio, tagliatelle funghi misti and pinsa burrata. The 2 reasons that the restaurant have not earned the 5/5 stars from us was that the dishes were not big enough for that prices and for what we are used to taste at others Italians restaurants. Finally certainly the outside place could be better decorated. The service was excellent!👌

Excellent Italian restaurant. As I am Italian it was like I was eating in a restaurant in Rome. I loved the pinsa mortadella and the dessert were sublime! I will definitely go again. The staff was really nice and friendly and also really helpful with me as I had my twins with me and I needed help with the stroller to go down the stairs.

Waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for our food! No one came to check in on us or update us. We had to ask why it’s taking so long. No apologies or discount after all of this. Don’t recommend. Should work on their costumer service!

More mild sigh than culinary high. The food was ok — enjoyable, but not the flavour fiesta I’d been hyped up for. 😋🤔 Based on the glowing reviews and drool-worthy Instagram shots, I was expecting fireworks on my taste buds... instead, I got a polite sparkler. 🎇😅 Nothing terrible — just not the “wow” moment I’d imagined. I’ve had better versions in other spots around Athens, but it’s still a decent stop if you’re not chasing food orgasmic thrills. 🍽️👍

Fabulous food and drinks. A larger than life sized portrait of Aristotle Onassis welcomes you from over the kitchen! Traditional Greek fare. We had the Politiki chopped salad, grape leaves with fresh tzatziki, and the mixed grill. It was more than the two of us could eat and was cooked to perfection. As with others commenting, we were referred by friends that live in the area and told us not to miss this restaurant. They were absolutely correct!

I got a recommendation for this place from an acquaintance who spent most of his life in Athens, and we were definitely satisfied with what we got. The atmosphere is calm, the staff is friendly, and we absolutely loved the traditional Greek food. If you want to experience authentic local cuisine, I’d definitely recommend it.

Stopped by with my wife ,cousin and his wife. For the last year I've seen social media feeds about this place with beautiful platter presentations. Well let me tell you it's worth coming, we had 2 meat lovers platters with everything you could imagine. All the meats were tender, delicious and spiced perfect. Μπράβο σας

Absolutely amazing place. Beautiful and amazing food and warm and friendly waiters. Our server George was beyond fabulous. Took such good care of us and recommended wonderful items for us to order, we ate like kings. Great prices and defintely a must when in Athens.

I haven’t even finished my food and I couldn’t wait to rate this place. The food is absolutely delicious. The kebab literally melts in your mouth and so flavorful. The staff were supper friendly even though I don’t speak the language. Highly recommend

Food that respects the traditions and history of a cuisine that connected 3 continents and 5 seas. Top quality food, even the packaging of the delivery is on another level. The depth of the taste is something that may make it difficult to enjoy any other food in the future. I sometimes dream of when I will visit Athens to eat from here. Make it a mission to try at least once each dish and salad. I always order take out so I can't comment on atmosphere.

I had take away pita kebab and chicken skewers, both of the delicious and juicy. I also tried the kazandibi, which was very good. I will revisit this place to try more options of the menu.

The food was super delicious, there's always a crowd, and I was lucky to find a place twice, but I recommend making a reservation in advance. The food is reasonably priced, and the experience was awesome; we all loved the food so much. Everything was clean and had a unique taste. I’d give it five stars without hesitation. We tried the Kaserli Kebap, which was amazing, and the fried kibbeh was special, along with the tabbouleh, bulgur, Greek souvlaki with kebab sandwich, hummus, and the cheese pastries, which were really great. The ayran drink was tasty too. For dessert, we had Kanafeh with Kaimaki ice cream while enjoying some tea.

I ordered mixed kebab with pita and yogurt. They used a hot plate and poured the yogurt on the hot plate. Therefore yogurt curdled and small pieces with bad taste. You can not put cold yogurt on a hot plate.

For me, the food was normal, but there was no place to set people waiting to find tables. The place was full inside and outside, professional staff and helpful, service very fast, fresh sea food but the price is too high for some items, 100 euros for a 1.3 kg. Fried Supreme Fish!!, otherwise, everything was perfect, especially the location and the view

Our experience at the fish restaurant by the Athens marina was exceptional. We started with a delicious octopus carpaccio, followed by tasty cod bites and crispy fries, and enjoyed fresh bread and olive oil. For our main courses, we savored perfectly cooked crispy fried courgette and flavourful steamed mussels in white wine, all served in generous portions. While the price point was on the higher side, the quality of the food and excellent customer service, capped off by a complimentary and delightful orange cake from the owners, made for a truly memorable and highly recommended dining experience.

The service and atmosphere are very very good. The food we had, Greek salad and stuffed peppers was also very good , but as good as most places. Still , it's wonderful to go to the Marina for a change of pace from the city centre. The cab from city centre is about 10 euro ( beware of cabs who try to ask for 20 euro without meter on, we got cheated by a cabbie. This is the only bad side of Athens, that cubbies are not honest). All in all a great lunch and experience!

Amazing food in Flisvos, right on the marina with great views. Table for 11 of us, we tried a many varieties of plates. Specializing in seafood, you definitely need to try it for yourself. Monkfish, Cuttlefish and Squid Ink, Feta, Filo, Beets, Crawfish, Calamari, Mushrooms, Linguine, Orzo, Bruschetta with crostini. So many options, there’s was nothing I saw I wouldn’t try, barring the price. Desserts provided complimentary after the meal.

Nice place at the port for sunset. Beautiful atmosphere. The octopus was so good! The portion sizes are a little smaller that what we are used to in Greece, but the quality of the cuisine was amazing. Normally the other guests had complementary desert, but unfortunately not our company. Otherwise nice service.

The place is very beautiful, the service is okay but the food was bad. Especially the octopus chiou it was very cold and served with peppers which was not specified in the menu nor does it match previous fotos from past reviews. We also got the fried shrimp and the vegetable fried sticks those where okay but nothing special.

The Sin Burger Bar is a small, yet exceptional place in Palaio Faliro where you can enjoy your drink accompanied by truly sinful burgers. The menu offers a wide variety of burgers. I tried the Mexican, which was spicy and excellently cooked.

Perfect spot for a relaxing Saturday brunch! Dropped by on a Saturday for a casual brunch and was pleasantly surprised. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the salad was fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely kind and attentive. Portions were generous—I left fully satisfied. Highly recommended for a chill weekend treat!

Cozy place, very nice & polite service, great fresh french fries. The taste of the burgers: average I would say. My friend said his burger did not taste good. I got the vegetarian option with mushrooms and truffle mayo, ingredients that I love but I cannot say that I really enjoyed it. In sum very nice atmosphere, very good service,( great French fries), so the experience in general is positive.

For sure it isn't a shop to Enjoy your Favorite Beef Burger. We went 5 people and the servitor took our order politely, of how much grilled we wanted our burgers. We have ordered 1xmedium and 3x well done. All the burgers came with medium grill.So you dont need to order, they know how to grill every burger comes medium grilled anyway!!! The taste was like a normal homemade burger. For sure with 10euro per burger you can find much better Burger shops.

Well this place exceeded expectations from this American family. Smash burgers were amazing and the fries were the best we've had in country so far. They played American music with the highlight of fun being I want a hippopotamus for Christmas in August. We all got a good giggle over that.

You can choose the way you want you patty done and I love that. Very juicy.

I was happy with my Oklahoma Burger and San Miguel draft beer. My wife’s California burger was kind of tasteless. The mozzarella cheese sticks were ok. Could have come with more sauce. We were able to pay with credit card but got an itemized receipt only AFTER payment. Strange sequence.

Even though overpriced (paid 150€ for two) we never had an issue in previous visits as the food is tasty, fresh and the service attentive. This time around we weren’t happy as dishes were missing form the menu, like the soup and oysters, we ordered 40€ worth of other similar raw shellfish which came just opened, not cleaned with sand inside and the black stuff, whole thing still stuck on the shell, so we had to clean them ourselves since there was no server around to talk to, when we finally pointed that out, the served was distraught explained the chef had changed and at the end the owner who was at the table next to us came over to talk and did not offer an apology, instead fabricated a whole story of how it’s a new chef but this is how to keep the freshness, basically mocking us as if we’ve never had raw shellfish before and don’t know how they are served, keep in mind we’re locals and had been there before! Very unprofessional, nothing was offered as an apology which would be fine but he kept giving away free staff to the table of 6 friends next to us which was quite insensitive in the occasion. Very disappointed with this nice establishment, clearly costumer service should be left to the staff.

We had a wonderful late lunch on our wedding anniversary. Excellent food, ceviche, carpaccio, salad, steamed mullets and fish fillet fricassee, great white wine and their rendition of baklava. The service was attentive, fast and helpful at all times. Parking was quite easy close by. I totally recommend this fantastic restaurant!

A nice ambiance, friendly staff and very good food (the tuna tartare, scallops, and even the horta were delicious) but, unfortunately, overpriced. It’s hard to understand why a good restaurant, already charging fairly high prices for their dishes would feel the need to apply extra to the bill, or not fairly inform diners when they make their orders. If not for this disappointing end to the evening, we’d most definitely return.

We had a family dinner at Iolkos restaurant. Although it was Fri evening it wasn't over crowded and we sat there without any reservation. The dishes we had were simply so delicious. To our family it seamed very nice and cosy place. The service was kind and helpful. The prices are a bit higher than the other places we've a chance to visit, but the experience deserved every penny. Will come back someday. :)

Not sure how anyone would give this less than 5 stars. Been here twice in 3 weeks, absolute gem. Their take on seafood with a touch of modernity? Im not sure how to phrase it. The food is excellent. Great great flavors. The scallops, the scallops. Simplicity yet travel so far. Very happy with wine selection, servers are very helpful, great music & interior design to establish a chill atmosphere.

The food is always delicious, the service impeccable and you get value for your money. There are no better ribs than these. I also love the old photographs that decorate the walls and which show the area when they first opened, in mid-20th century. This taverna is an institution and long may it last.

Rustic restaurant with a variety of meat dishes. The lamb chops were well cooked and juicy. The saganaki was grilled which made it extra good and the beef burgers were flavorful. Bonus was the hand-cut fries and the dessert which was heavenly! Quick and friendly service, what else can you ask for?

A small little place with excellent people who serve some very delicious Greek food. They all take good care of you. The red wine here is very good and goes well with the food. This is a hotel established in 1954 and the third generation runs this place. I was told that you get authentic non vegetarian food but we had vegetarian food which was equally good.

Tasty food, (maybe) best Tzatziki in Athens and superfriendly staff ...

All August we were checking to see when the place will be open as on Google maps it stated that it was closed! When finally we saw on the 29th of August that it was open we traveled for an hour to have lunch there at 2.00pm. Guess what...the place was closed!!!

You can see it - in the family there, on the plate - the pride they take their food. Not only the best meal I've had in Athens, but the best meal I've had in a long, long time.. Pepper steak, lamb chops, dessert. Incredible. Big thanks to your friend the Uber driver for recommending. Much love from the US, I hope we meet again!

This local restaurant is a must visit for those who are in the area. Inexpensive for great food and traditional atmosphere. The hosts were nice and very accommodating despite lacking in English communication skills. Nevertheless food is its own language. We ordered portions to share and the amount was just perfect.

I used to come here with all my friends to eat every week! For the last 6 years I live in Australia.hopefuly by the end of this year ,I will come visit with my wife and 2 liitle children.we will eat everything! Great, old fashioned, family owned restaurant. Filled with locals only, the food is grilled over wood charcoals. Very traditional place. Owners were very nice and the food amazing.

Mens section on 2nd floor. Sales assistants are rude. They follow you around and don’t give you space to think. Every time I look I see one staring at me,just one step away. I stepped backwards and stepped on her toes. Please this is not customer service, it stresses customers and makes you leave without buying anything. I told one assistant and she said we are asked to do this from upper management. Old style suffocating service.

I would say its a great outlet for locals living in alimos/palaio faliro instead of going to Athens Metro Mall in Agio Dimitrios. It has a decent variety of brands. I bought a DKNY pullover and two leather heels from there which were only 69eur each. This is a good price compared to other leather heels. The mall is clean and organized so it makes it easy to shop and find brands. There is also an area outside to drink a coffee or eat a snack if you want to spend hours there. I would say there is easy access to parking and not crowded inside.

Very friendly staff and homely atmosphere but the double cappuccino I ordered wasn't even drinkable. I'm not picky at all but I had to threw it away after a few sips.

As someone with experience in Middle Eastern cuisine, this comfy restaurant was delicious! The lady was also super sweet upon walking in and made sure we were happy with our options.

Authentic & cute with BIG PORTIONS. If you think you’re gonna order an appetizer and a main and finish both, GOOD LUCK!!!! Super cute on top of a hill, service is ok. It’s a tavern they did nothing extraordinary but everyone was nice. Food is good too. Fried Fish is tasteless though and they give mustard for dipping sauce WITH EVERYTHING. The blended fruit juices, AMAZING! Across the board it’s a nice place to experience.

We tried our luck without a reservation and managed to get a table 💃🏽💃🏽 We sat on the balcony and enjoyed the city view . We had the shrimp & Feta appetizer which was really good and had a touch of spice. I had the lamb with potatoes in gravy and it’s the best lamb I’ve ever had. My wife had the risotto and sea bass and it was amazing. My FIL had the lamb chops and Al’s said it was amazing. We had such a great group dinner at Psaras in Athens — definitely one for the books! We sat outside on the terrace with an incredible view overlooking the city. The atmosphere was cozy, authentic, and felt like a perfect little pocket of Greece tucked into the hillside. We started with a ton of small sharing plates — bread, salad, eggplant, meatballs, and more. Each one was packed with flavor, and it was so fun to try a bit of everything. Honestly, by the time our main dishes arrived, most of us were already pretty full — but of course, we powered through because everything looked and smelled amazing! The main was just as good as the starters, and somehow we even made room for dessert. Every course was delicious and well-paced, and the staff did a great job keeping everything flowing for such a large group. Dining here felt more like a full experience than just a meal. The views, the food, and the laid-back vibe made it a night to remember. If you’re in Athens and want a place that combines traditional Greek food with a beautiful atmosphere, Psaras is a must. Would come back to this spot 100%.

The atmosphere was AMAZING! it was so nice cozy. The view was stunning. The service was very nice, polite and attentive. The food was very very nice (the lamb roast with gravy was amazing) and the cocktails were unique and delicious, I definitely recommend this place!

Well, that was the smallest « Greek salad » I ever got. 2 tomatoes or so, exactly 2 olives, no pepper at all and the feta was chopped… which is definitely not the definition of a real greek salad. Very disappointing.

I would definitely say this place is vegan friendly- I felt as though I had been eating a lot of meat so I wanted a protein intense meal without meat and lots of green veggies. It was easy to accomplish here. I ordered the boiled greens; the waitress explained that it was something like spinach. I want lettuce, but I also wanted the Greek salad ingredients so I asked for a Greek salad and to have lettuce added to it. For our protein, we had the fava bean hummus, and a bowl of “large beans”. This was a very good, healthy meal. Our waitress was very accommodating as we had lots of special requests! Dress is casual. Prices were extremely cheap! Highly recommend this place.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this restaurant! The food was really good the stuffed cabbages the stuffed beef patties with cheese, the spicy cheese, the octopus, the Dolmas, the atmosphere and amazing staff and proprietor made us feel like we found something special. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

Came here as part of a tour group. Food was very lovely and everyone was full. Chicken was cooked amazingly tender and fell right off the bone! Staff also attended to our needs right from directing traffic to allow the group to cross the road after disembarking from the bus, to offering us ice cubes for the water given the hot weather. Only wish is for some olive oil or dips to be served with the bread, there was none on our table. Bread could be served warm, otherwise there will be wastage.

Recommend by a friend, he was right, excellent food. We had a group of 4 so we had a decent sampling of the menu. I had the grilled silver snapper which the waitress recommended. It was moist and delicious and included a small dish of olive oil and lemon juice for dipping. The olive oil we’ve had in Greece and Sicily has been fabulous, wish it was this fresh in the USA. My wife had Spaghetti Bolognese, the Turkish spices were a pleasant surprise, it was so good. The vegetable soup had an amazing flavor, as did the zucchini croquettes. Service, is a little laid back. I think this may be more of a cultural thing since Americans are always in a hurry and people here are not.

This place was recommended by one of our tour guides. I'm definitely glad we came here. Five star experience and excellent food, and very flavorful. If you love white fish, I highly recommend a silver snapper. My husband loved the vegetable soup and the stuffed cabbage. I especially loved the iced tea.

The food was absolutely delicious. The staff was really attentive. Because of a minor communication problem we got ice cream and four tasty shots as compensation, we was very much moved by their kindness. It is highly recommended. We will definitely come again!

Very tasty and well-priced. We ordered three grilled octopuses, which were quite good. A little rubbery, but well-done. We also had a large portion of fries and delicious fried cheese. Finally, we got watermelon and a delicious drink called MelonCello, which won our hearts.

I think this is local restaurant, located in residence areas. We walked around 11 minutes from our Hotel Poseidon. The old man served us and barely speak English, but we managed by looking at pictures from previous reviewers :) Dishes we ordered all are delicious, grill fishes sea bass is so fresh and meat soft and sweet .. Okay, we arrived here from Canada after a delayed, rerouted, canceled flight! Then we found this awesome restaurant. It made it almost, all better. Seriously, super nice, hardworking people who have excellent food at excellent prices!! Great dinners. Just some of the appetizers and dessert.

We were staying at the Marriott and decided on this place due to its proximity to it did not disappoint at all! Service was super fast, the food portions were huge and everything we ordered was delicious. The last thing I will say is the prices were a nice relief from the “tourist” prices we’ve been. Everything was wonderful here. We had a greek salad, spinach pie, and pork. The pork was grilled to perfection. You need a reservation to eat outside, we ate inside, just walked right in and was seated immediately. Dessert came with our meal, it was like a chocolate drizzle donut in honey, it was very good.

Very nice quiet restaurant in Athens. 4 km from the Acropolis. This is a local restaurant where politicians, and Greek people comes. Food is fresh and very tasty. The souvlaki, chicken, porc and grilled beef liver. The village Greek salad delicious. You can feel the original taste of local fresh produce and feta cheese. Spanakopita with spinach and feta cheese are an excellent way to start your meal. I highly recommend it if you want to eat Greek food and mostly meat. The zatzichi Is melting in your mouth, you can feel the freshness of the homemade yogurt. At the end some fruit and small donuts immersed in honey and cinnamon, a perfect way to end your meal.

We've been in. Greece for about a month and have just eaten the best dinner. Stopped by with my wife, Dimitri was our waiter and did a great job. We had skordalia that was mild, we had horta that were fresh with bread. Our main meal was delicious fresh fish with slightly undercooked fries. Also had kolokithkeftedes that were breaded and fried perfect. We had some red and rose wine. They offered us complimentary watermelon and the best loukoumades in the US and Greece we've ever had. Μπράβο σας...update it was so good the first time we came back , we had tirokafteri, horta, both types of meatball the shared meat platter. The food was delicious again, met the owner great guy, have a great vacation guys

This place is amazing. Great patio. Food is fantastic, staff very attentive and nice. Plates are shareable size, very fresh and tasty. It was 45 euro for the 4 of us with 1/2 liter of wine. Plus, a delicious desert including fruits and loukoum were offered on the house. You cannot ask for more.

The food is subpar, and the management seems to have open contempt for customers — particularly US tourists. ——————————————————— We had been enjoying two weeks of amazing Greek food and hospitality, and my daughter especially loved ordering truffle-based dishes wherever we found them — every single one was excellent. Unfortunately, this restaurant was the one exception. She ordered the truffle pasta, which did not taste like truffle at all. We sent it back, and the waiter acknowledged our concern. However, when I went to pay, the dish was still on the bill. I politely asked for it to be removed, as it was neither eaten nor properly prepared. The waiter said it could not be removed, so I asked to speak with the manager. What happened next shocked me as a frequent traveler: the manager approached us with extreme disrespect. Instead of listening, he cut me off and shouted “I DON’T CARE! You pay!” He was aggressive, loud, and dismissive — the opposite of hospitality. This was the first time in all my travels I was forced to pay for food that was uneaten and prepared poorly. Beyond the disappointing cooking, the attitude was unacceptable. If you check my review history, you’ll see I rarely ever post negative reviews. But in this case, I want to warn others so they do not have to go through what we did.

A delicious meal perfectly accompanied with caring service. Came at an odd hour , and yet got served the best scorpion fish (rascasse) and grilled squid ever. Great selection of Greek wines to pair with the sea food. They offered a lovely lemon cream dessert to top off the meal. Must déguste !

This restaurant is a hidden gem. They welcomed us with such generosity, helping us choose items on the menu as well as giving us several dishes on the house. The food was delicious (such fresh seafood!) and the atmosphere for a late dinner felt homey but chic. It's clear this is a favorite among the locals too. Highly recommend!

We had lunch here, and overall everything was nice. We had grilled cray fish which were fantastic, fried anchovies that were good and octopus which was a bit hard but tasty. The place however was suspiciously empty, maybe due to high prices? Not sure why, but we still had a good time.

Nice place and lovely food. Great fresh oysters. Refreshing nice tomato salad. The fried red mullet was super delicious but the our absolute favorite was the spicy shrimp. The fish soup and calamari were the weakest dishes we tried there.

This is a late written review but definitely a well deserved one. My partner and I visited Athens in December where we came across this little gem recommended to us by one of the locals. The restaurant was quiet and private, with staff who were very polite and accommodating, providing the perfect location for a lovely meal. The dishes provided all tasted extremely local and fresh. If you are looking to try authentic Greek seafood then I could not recommend this place more. Highest compliments to the chef and team! I will definitely be returning here to try the other dishes on my next visit to Athens.

Our most expensive meal in Athens in this somewhat bizarre place...an Island In The City, they said. We love sampling local oysters from around the world, so an Oyster Bar/Restaurant, according to Google, seemed ideal to us. First, finding this place requires U trust Google Maps it was not intuitive, and when we did find it at the end of a dark Alley, nobody but the servers were there at 8PM. We showed them our phone and asked if this was it, which we all laughed and any table was ours. The place is beautiful, and within 15 minutes, 20+ people were seated, so we were in the right place. Oysters on the half shell 6 euros each & not from Greece but Spain. Super yummy, but six was enough for us to sample. Grilled Octopus 18Euro & Santorini salad 16E, so with a bottle of wine, we shot past the 100Euro mark easily for a very delicious dinner. We were first to arrive and almost last to leave 2+ hours later. We had a blast, and this was a great way to spend a night out in Athens.

Excellent food choices and the service was very good. This may be controversial, but I found the food better than most of the other restaurants I encountered on the quay. A good place to watch the sun go down.

It does what it has to do, but the service is overwhelmed. There are a ton of people running around, but nobody seems to really be into it or on top of their game. We went there twice. First time we went there, we had a great time and were surprised by the food and drinks. First time in a long time that food arrived first and drinks came like twenty minutes later. Then, the second day, I made a reservation. Silly me for making a reservation in Greece. We go there and the guy at the door looks at us and says well you didn't note where you would like to sit so we don't have any exterior tables. There was nowhere to make a note about this online. But ok. We sit inside because we're not picky like that and we don't smoke. It must have taken forty minutes to get our order taken. Around us, it was families sitting. When they started leaving, one by one, their leftover plates were displayed for another forty minutes until the people responsible finally cleaned up the tables. It was interesting to watch how these people operated the place.

Staff is very friendly and kind. Food quality has been decreased significantly. Fridays used to be decent regarding raw materials.

It is a pasta and pizza restaurant at the most central intersection of Palaio Faliro, at the intersection of Zisimopoulou and Agias Triados streets. The restaurant has been operating in the same location for many years. We visited recently and were delighted to find that the menu has not changed, it has the same options and prices. Also, the decoration remains unchanged and reminds of a monastery. It's not an authentic Italian restaurant, but it's a Greek restaurant that serves high quality pasta and pizzas. The menu has many options of which I recommend the "vegetable cake" salad, the pasta with 4 cheeses and the carbonara. The portions are quite filling.

I unfortunately am unable to rate the food because my 87 year old mother and I were never waited on. On arrival we were seated at a table and then told their credit card system was down and cash was the only payment option. I walked to the ATM 10 minutes down the street and on returning waited 10 min for a waiter and nothing! I asked the manager if we could get a waiter and no one came to our table even though 3 waiters were just standing around laughing. My mother and I at this point got up to leave. At the door the manager looked at us and I told him no one came to take our order and it's disrespectful to me as I walked to get cash but even worse that an elderly woman had to wait so long. He just shrugged his shoulders. No apology. We live in this neighborhood and I speak fluent greek. The whole thing was very disappointing. No customer service. And definitely no greek hospitality or filotimo.

It's a quite unique restaurant because of its decoration that is good in my taste! In this restaurant you can enjoy very tasty plates and unique recipes for some of them. The prices are honest for the quality and the quantity of the offered food. I recommend it !

Super tasty food, excellent service & kind staff...

I’m happy I visited this place so I now know it’s not worth the buzz. Somewhat decorated between an orthodox monastery and a Greek tavern, it’s a unique place but… this is where the good part stops. Service is subpar to the price you pay, slow and reckless staff (they dropped dirty cutlery on us while cleaning the table - a nonchalant “I’m sorry” was mumbled). This is surprising given the high numbers of staff they have. The pasta portions are way too big, drowned in butter and cream (never heard of “less is more”) to the point my isophagus was screeching for a hose down with the €2 bottle water they failed to tell us we had to pay for when the bill came. In response to some delirious comments, no, this is not a traditional Italian restaurant. I doubt the pasta is fresh, which doesn’t explain the 40min wait for a dish of ravioli. That said, the highlights on the menu were the “horiatiki” and “tyropsomo” (like pizza stuffed with feta cheese). If it weren’t for these two, I would have rated this 1 star.

The ambiance and drinks were absolutely wonderful, and we ended up coming here every single day of our holiday. It truly felt like a place to relax and unwind for us. Lovely atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating, and very tasty food. I had the lemon pie and the yogurt with honey, and would recommend both. The lemon pie has a crisp crust, tangy lemon custard, and a soft meringue on top. The yogurt was thick and creamy, paired perfectly with rich honey. A great place to enjoy a treat.

Stopped here for a coffee after visiting the Acropolis. It’s a peaceful café on a quiet pedestrian street in Plaka, very close to Anafiotika. I only had a drink, but the desserts that passed by looked delicious. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing

Melina is a popular cafe based on the number of people sitting outside along the sidewalk near Anafiotika. Sitting outside in a booth, we found the experience average. To drink, I got the Nescafe iced frappe with medium sugar. To eat, I ordered the chocolate crepes. There's chocolate on the outside and inside giving it an 80/20 chocolate to crepe ratio. It was too much chocolate and I felt ill after. Service was slow, but they were busy so can't blame them. To pay, you have to go inside with your server.

Tried the fried calamari and it was nicely done — tender meat with a texture. The salad on the side was refreshing, crisp, and fresh. Really enjoyable overall.

We were served generous portions of everything we ordered, and the baklava was especially delicious paired with Greek coffee. We were the first to arrive and dine, which made the atmosphere calm and peaceful.

Great little place right on the street. Food was good and drinks were good too. We came twice while we were in town. If you’re using Bounce luggage storage this is where you go. No signs but they do store the luggage and you can get a good meal, snack, drink or both. Great service and great food.

A hidden gem. A restaurant recommended by a cab driver. Palia Fava is a Greek restaurant serving you true home cooked style Greek cuisine. Each dish was amazing and had us excited. The Pancetta was a dish I still dream about. We were surprised on how affordable the dinner was. Highly recommended!

If you had a beach day away from central Athens, definitely try this place. Fresh seafood and lovely staff. I know there are so many places that you can taste seafood and believe me I did try all around Greece, you can't find a better Tarama, smooth and just right. Thanks to the staff for everything.

I'm not sure why the rating for Ciao isn't 4.9 or 5.0. The menu has a ton of options (even sandwiches and salads). The portions were huge (easily shareable) and the food was delicious. Even more impressive was the desserts and ice cream. To top it all off, the prices were incredibly affordable. 6 of us ate dinner with desserts and the total bill was only 70 euros (and we left with many left-overs)

The place is very nice. The staff are friendly. The food needed more flavor enhancement but other than that everything was good and we enjoyed sitting and eating.

On our first day in Athens, we ate here and had some of the best pasta dishes we’ve ever had. Pros: 1. The ambiance was very welcoming, comfortable, bright, and perfect for people watching 2. They didn’t rush you to leave after eating your meal 3. The prices were great 4. Close to the main road and close to side roads, making it easy to walk or drive to. 5. The young lady who waited at our table taught herself English and many other languages and could answer many of our questions. Cons: 1. There were no cons; I would recommend this place.

I used to visit this place years ago before moving abroad, and coming back to Greece, I was excited to revisit. Unfortunately, I left disappointed. I’m not sure if it’s my memory romanticizing the experience or if the quality has truly declined. The capricciosa pizza slice was a letdown—reheated, damp, and unpleasant in taste. Had a bite and just couldn't have another. On a brighter note, the wild cherry croissant was fresh, and the cream was decent. However, the cherry sauce tasted like something from a low-quality supermarket brand, which was disappointing. With so many places offering high-quality pastries these days, this one no longer stands out. As much as I hate to say it, I won’t be returning and can’t recommend it anymore.

Came here for a late lunch. Ordered a tuna salad and a Caesar salad. They were absolutely amazing. Huge portion. Great atmosphere and really good valuerestaurant. Definitely will be coming back here on my next trip to Athens. Highly recommended.

Terrible experience!!!!!!!We were going frequently to this restaurant few years back and it was a nice cozy place with authentic Greek food and normal prices. We again visited it today after three years and we had a shock, the food was terrible and the prices were simply unacceptable, as an example 36 euros for a portion of Octapus which was deep frozen, the fries where deep frozen and cold and the beetroots had soooo much vinegar that they were not eatable. The fish came served with the bones!!! Total disappointment!!! They are just taking advantage of the location and the view !!

Flisvos, view all harbour, good place to start your trip with friends and family, from morning coffee until evening dinner. Besides fish dishes they have two or three plates of meat. A little bit nosy at weekends. Fair prices, good quality.

This place was so good I came back 3 times. Was staying at the Marriott Athens nearby. Walked over with colleagues and we all fell in love. The prices are fantastic, the food is delicious and fresh. I tried the lamb shank special - it was so tender it fell off the bone and the flavor was perfect. Honorable mention to the stuffed chicken, as well as the black swine gyros. Wonderful service and wines. Nice atmosphere, half of the restaurant is open air so if you’re sensitive bring a sweater.

The pork is tough for my liking, the black rice below the salmon didn’t cook well to Chinese standards, but the complimentary desserts and good services make it up. The bands is nice. Good ambience.

A quiet restaurant with friendly waiting staff, both gentlemen spoke perfect English and recommended great food. The salad was large enough for 4 as a side. High end restaurant with a lot of delicate and tasty dishes. Additionally, the calm atmosphere and good service makes it easy to recommend. One note is that prices at the door, in the menu that you are given and reality are different from each other and the price tag in reality is sometimes higher than in menus.

Absolutely wonderful food, service and ambience. Was staying at Athens Marriott and couldn't fathom hotel food. This resturant was two blocks down, and tried because many are closed on Sunday. Thank goodness the choices were limited, what a treat. Had the zucchini appitizer, cycladic salad and lamb shank = OMG! Portion size is generous (a salad for €8.50 could serve four) And with the above and two wines the tab was €48.20, less than half the cost of a hotel meal. Bravo!

Very good italian food! Fresh, hot, amazing taste. we had Gnocchi Pomodor and a salad, which we would choose again! The staff was incredible nice. We also loved the Marina view and the ambiente - the restaurant has lovely interior and also a beautiful terrace! We will come again, everybody loves it here.

An Italian establishment within the Marina, the food here is typical Italian fare done very well at good prices with great service. I had the salmon pasta and an Aperol Spritz, both of which were very good. Our waiter provided exceptional service.

Napolitivo is a place where you really feel like home. We stayed in Athens for a week and 3 times we came here for dinner and one for a drink and some ice cream. The staff is absolutely kind, the food is delicious and the location pretty quiet nd relaxing. We had a great time here and if you go to Athens we do reccomend to come here and give it a try :)

We have been here 2 times. Souvlaki and salad are great here. Service is like you are coming to your parents. They will give you the highest service that is possible, without having discomfort about it. Prices are absolutely fair. The starters were incredible, but the main dishes were lacking, particularly the fried cod. The staff was extremely friendly and caring and the restaurant is really pretty.

Really nice authentic place with good food and fair prices. Also suitable for bigger groups. Service is a bit chaotic and not well organised. Some guests left waiting too long and were served not in the good order of arrival. But we were lucky and all went well and the food arrived in the right order and was tasty.

Ate here on a quiet wednesday night with the whole family. The ambience is great and we were also welcomed by a friendly cat. Service is fast and food were very good as well. We ordered codfish, anchovies in vinegar, feta cheese with honey and sesame, cretan salad and kontosouvli (meat was very tender and tasty) Prices are also better. Definitely worth a visit and to be recommended.

This place has nice decorations and the prices are okay, but the service is really slow. They served us small Cretan Raki and pickles, which was nice touch. I really enjoyed the taste of the apaki, staka with egg, graviera and marathopita. However, the rest of the food wasn't worth the wait at all. If you come here for lunch, you might need to spend 4-5 hours, which is too long. It's not good to sit when you're hungry and then wait a long time, like more than 45 minutes between ordering a salad and getting the first appetizer. Even though it's close to my house, I've only been here twice in the last five years, and things haven't gotten any better. I don't think I'll come back again.

At the end of a theatre performance the actors return to the stage, bow and if they were great they receive a standing ovation... Google standing ovation and you will see the following, a period of prolonged applause during which the crowd or audience rise to their feet. Petros, pictured, was summoned, by my friends and I, after providing us with a Cretan gastronomical experience, for such a round of applause. As you can see from the photo, he is a humble guy. He told us he is not a professional chef but instead, "Cooks with love!" Isn't this what our mothers, grandmothers and aunts, fathers, grandfathers and uncles used to do? This is a small, unique place which specialises in Cretan cuisine. The menu is not large, but I can guarantee that each dish is special, cooked perfectly and presented with pride. I enjoyed our evening so much as did my family and friends, we were made to feel like we had visited an old friend. So, my rating, food 5/5, service 5/5, atmosphere 5/5, price 5/5 well I could go on but you get my point. Right? Thank you Petros for cooking with love and making us so welcome. Stana 23.6.2024 The best thing about discovering great restaurants is inviting your friends and having them confirm how great the place is. We had a harrowing journey, nearly two hours, buses jam packed with people returning from the beach, also a Sunday when people are out and about visting family and friends. It was so hot outside that the air conditioning inside the bus nearly caused me to faint. A Phillipino lady gave up her seat for me, they gave me a sweet and then she fanned me to keep me cool. My friends spent the whole time in the restaurant commenting how good it was, almost forgetting the journey altogether. What a great night. I’ve been coming here for some time, just walked and came across it. Really home like place seems like the family runs it. Food is fresh delicious and made with love. You should definitely give it a try. Authentic

Very cosy place but you expect to eat better than what we had. The beetroot is over covered by cream and is sour, the fried mushrooms are not fried enough and have a weird taste. The pepper is not very interesting and a bit chilly. The cretan pasta is ok but still, cooking is not the best they do here unfortunately.

Beautiful restaurant on an amazing corner! Really detailed, with the Italian flair all over the place! Everything I tasted was to the point!!! My second time to this restaurant,verified that the flavor is definitely there!! The service kept me, unfortunately, a little bit distanced from the experience 😔😔 But I will definitely come back for the food 😉🙂

Hmm. I’m trying to be as fair as possible on my reviews (and not with bad intentions), that’s why most of them are gentle. But, the experience in this restaurant was very negative. Almost everything went wrong. Positives: -tasty freshly grilled bread -good salad (strawberry) (16,5€) -the Bistecca di Manzo was well grilled (good but not for 67,5 €). Negatives: - the Risotto Al Funghi was Awful, tasteless , watery and there was no cheese in it. But, to be fair, after the waiter told me (annoyed) that they will change it, they took it back and brought a better version of it(hopefully without spitting in it 😅). - Pasta Caccio e Pepe , Ragu and Tartufato con Pollo , all 3 of them were neutral / tasteless. -ok wine list, but minimum 3 times up the original price / f.e. Markou Malagouzia costs 12 € in the market, but they charged it 37€. - Very bad service in general. We asked for the bill literally 4-5 times and in total we waited for more than 40 minutes to pay. Even when we gave the money, the waiter took them, put them in his pocket and continued moping the floor, while we were waiting for the chains. Very unprofessional behavior overall. 45€ per person with one bottle of white wine. I hope it was a bad day.

I’m writing this review as I’m sitting here enjoying their Margherita pizza and strawberry salad—because it’s that good. The salad is definitely one of the best ones I’ve ever had. The appetizer alone should’ve warned me that I’d be planning on coming back the next day. Every bite is fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The staff is also incredibly warm and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in Athens and craving something delicious with great vibes!

We visited the restaurant on a Tuesday night and were pleasantly surprised by the live singer. The Italian performer was incredibly talented — with a fantastic selection of songs and a performance that rivaled a real concert! The food was excellent. The pizza had a beautifully fermented dough and high-quality toppings — and the portion size definitely won’t disappoint. The fresh pasta was also delicious and perfectly cooked. That said, I found the cinnamon in the ragù a bit overpowering — not bad, but I would have preferred a lighter touch to let the sauce shine through. The wine recommendation by our waiter was spot on as well. All in all, a very enjoyable experience — we’ll definitely be coming back! 😃😃

The food was absolutely divine and so tasteful. Well cooked with fresh ingredients. Unfortunately, for us the evening ended up having an argument with the bold older guy waiter claiming that we couldn't pay seperately with credits cards and that we had to pay all in one card which was impossible. Thankfully, we asked for another waiter and everything turned out well. But the ignorance and the attitude of the previous waiter just made us feel unwelcomed. Though, we will defenitely go back for the food we would not like being served for that guy.

Wonderful food and lovely restaurant. We shared the pizza which was exceptional and authentically Italian. We also ordered pasta. The gnocchi was delicious. Little soft pillows of pure joy!! Will definitely return!

The atmosphere is really nice, but don’t expect too much from the pizza and pasta. There’s a place in Blida that was much better—unfortunately, I don’t remember the name, but I’ve mentioned it in my previous reviews. Their pizza was amazing. Here, the service is average, and the food isn’t that great, but the ambiance is definitely enjoyable.

Overly expensive for what it offers. The place is cozy but that's about it. Tastes are good but closer to average than excellent. Portions are not small but not big either. The real problem are the prices. There are probably better choices in the area.

One of the best restaurants at Palaio Faliro. Tasty homemade dishes (depending on day, there are extra ones, which do not exist in the menu), as well as good variety of wines. The environment is beautifully decorated and it has warm, friendly atmosphere. The staff is helpful and polite.

It was okay but I thought of ordering a tomahawk which I read was very good but when I was looking in the menu it was not mentioned so asked the waiter and he mentioned that they do do it. We decided to order it all good until the bill came. 80 Euros? I found it too much for the place. In the end for 4 people and 3 kids the bill came to about 250 euros which I found a but too much. I would not go there again.

Creative Greek cuisine with attention to best quality ingredients. Very good service, nice owners really enjoy going there. Like the atmoshere too. Has gluten free meals but one has to ask, not clearly marked on the menu.

ΤΑΒΕΡΝΑ Ο ΜΠΑΜΠΗΣ is a great place to dine. How does the saying go, "It's all Greek to me." I do not speak a word of Greek, but the owner came to help translate and aid in which item for this Texan. This service alone warrants a trip. I had a bon filet listed on the menu with fries. Quite tasty and a cucumber salad without the cherry tomatoes. The salad was great on such a hot day in Athens. The bon filet was different. Sorta like a hamburger steak but not quite the same. I have seafood all week. So I decided something different.

Mpampis serves simple Greek cuisine done to perfection, and at excellent value for money. The Greek salad was generous with feta, and the liver was soft, moist, and full of flavor. We were pleasantly surprised with complimentary desserts at the end, which made the experience even sweeter. Service was quick and the staff were genuinely friendly. The place was packed with locals, which is always the best sign.

Fantastic place for authentic Greek food. The meatballs are a secret family recipe (I asked and the owner refused to divulge any info) that made one member of our party say "I didn't know meatballs could taste like this." Friendly, welcoming, and they speak a little English.

Classic tavern ,, it’s a very good tavern with grills , fish , lots of appetizers , salads and traditional Greek grills ..very good quality . Fresh food. The ya web dates Back to almost 40 years ago. A very well known classic place to eat . I love the steak , fried zucchini and Greek salad there .

We ate bifteki, was amazingly juicy... love it. Also the liver was nice but it took a long time to get somebody for the order or simply get a fork. It was a holiday day lots of people but still.

This is what I ordered from a well-known platform, and this is what I actually received… To say the least, very misleading. The menu clearly shows four large, grilled handmade burgers with a proper side dish, but what I got were four tiny meatballs not even the size of a quarter of a lemon wedge. For 12€, this is simply unacceptable. Not only was the portion far from what was advertised, but the quality and presentation were disappointing as well. At this price point, customers expect honesty and value, not something that looks like a kids’ portion.

You guys charge 3.90€ for a mediocre pork gyro. Enough is enough. It's just not worth it and I let people know it. As a local I suggest you re think your prices for the quality you offer

If you're looking for shitty attitude from a grumpy waitress (I think her name was matina - that was the name on the receipt) this is the place for you. From the moment my family and I walked in, it felt like we were intruding. Simple questions answered with sarcasm and attitude. I've had warmer service from vending machines. I wouldn't set foot in that place again. Life's too short for miserable servers.

Everything was cold. Fries meat and pita. Not worth it at all. Store was not busy it was Sunday afternoon. Complete disappointment

Amazing service and super delicious food in great portions! We took the bus here because of the celiac friendly reviews and it did not disappoint at all! We were in two minds about getting dessert because we were so full, but to our surprise, the chef treated us to a delicous brownie with amazing ice cream!

We have been to the restaurant several times before and really like the tasty gluten free options they serve. Unfortunately last time the service was not what we are used to. From the point of ordering until we received our food it took a whole hour (!). I understand that it was busy, but we had booked a table, so it's not like we showed up in the last moment. After about 40 minutes my husband asked what was happening with our order, and they told him (without any apologies or explanations) that it was coming. We still had to wait 20 more minutes until it arrived, but got no explanation or excuse from the waiter either. I'm mostly sad that our 4 year old son also had to wait for our food for a whole hour. It was as tasty as the other times we have visited, but because of the bad experience we sadly won't come back again.

We went for an early dinner with a bigger group. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. Spiros our waiter was extremely helpful and friendly as well. The food was amazing, especially the loukaniko and the grilled feta.

We went on 20th of May 2021 a group of 4. The staff is always-always really helpful. The food is always-always delicious, as it was this time also. Totally recommend this restaurant.

Was going to have a meal and try this restaurant but what turned myself and my companion off was the rude attitude the lady had who seemed to be the boss of the establishment. Very abrupt and no sense of helpful service. We are doing her a favour by coming in to try the restaurant. But she lost our business from having such a bad attitude accompanied by a sour face. That's how you lose customers. I really do infact hope that restaurant goes downhill from her demeanour on how she deals with customers. To the lady learn some hospitality, your in that field of work. Unbelievable.

We visited this restaurant for the Sunday buffet called by friends that have visited this restaurant previously. Our opinion is that the offered food is far below average of other Chinese restaurants. There was no specific dish that could remind the flavor and taste of Chinese cuisine... We do not intend to visit again and definitely we cannot recommend this place to anyone.

The food was some of the best middle eastern. The staff was very attentive. It was not among the tourist areas which we perfer, therefore the prices were fair. Six in my group thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.

Exceptionally good! We stumbled upon this last minute looking for recommended restaurant on our route home. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu; everything is delicious, fresh, and authentic, portions are generous. Paid around 25€ for 2 persons including 1main dish(Hunkar Begendi), 1hot appetizer(Meat Samboussek), 1/2liter wine. The atmosphere is also really nice, you feel at home and relaxed when you are here. This was definitely worth it! The service was very reliable and the staff was very kind and easy going. As for food, if you're worried about coming due to the quality of the fish - don't be! The fish has great taste and doesn't feel frozen for ages. As someone who also does woodworking I can also appreciate the quality that the furniture and especially the tables, it's a bit random but anyway hahaha. I'd say at least give this a shot to see how you like it!

My husband and I got the Hannibal sushi and the sea bass filet — both were some of the best food we have ever had. They also treated us to excellent mojitos, on the house, before we left! There was no wait at 5:40pm on Thursday, and the food was fresh and incredibly flavorful. The price is worth it!

Amazing food, really scrumptious, juicy, flavorful dishes, top quality materials, lovely service from communicative, friendly staff who know the menu and offer choices and suggestions, and a lovely, calm, atmosphere and decor. I still think of some of these dishes and my mouth waters. Would totally go there again.

Fresh fish daily . Japanese knowledge in the top level

This is one of our favourite places. We keep going back because it offers a great combination of things: a good variety of Japanese food, a lovely deco, fresh products, careful and friendly service at very reasonable price. You can maybe find better sushi in Athens, but not in such a combination of environment, quality, price and service. Recommended!

It is no doubt that Japan has to be a country with one of the biggest and most interesting cultures in my opinion. It is also no wonder how its culture got mainstreamed and popularized across the world, with its cuisine also being part of it. And The Sushi Bar is one of the best examples of the cuisine being brought over into the country of Greece. The experience and service is some of the best I've ever seen! In my visit for the purposes of this review, my order consisted of the bar's available choices on Sushi and beverages, specifically beer and Sake (the latter as a treat from the owner of the restaurant) and sorbet ice cream as a dessert (also as a treat from the restaurant) so I won't be able to comment on any other products. The Good: *Atmosphere and authenticity plays a major role in bringing customers in, and The Sushi Bar does perfectly. The decorations, wall paintings, and utensils on the bar capture very well the Japanese atmosphere and theme. Even the menu which explains what to know about Sushi and its history is pretty appreciated! *The chefs of the restaurant primarily consist of Japanese chefs. And don't get me wrong, this isn't supposed to be any discrimination to any Greek chef who wants to master the art of Sushi, but you realize you're in for a great world of tastes when such professionals who are experienced in their own country's cuisine come into place. The ingredients are of high quality and are pretty tasty. The fish had a pretty smooth taste, the rice felt pretty nice, the soy sauce had an appropriate level of saltiness, the wasabi was spicy enough and didn't lasted long enough, and the ginger was good into refreshing my mouth. Kudos to the chefs! *On the topic of the staff, they are pretty friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better! *The menu is rich in variety for you to try out. Whether you are interested into traditional Sushi, or something that takes a modern take on it (the Sushi Burgers are a good example of modernized Sushi), there's something for everyone! *The music selection is pretty chill and moody, which I enjoyed a lot! The bad: *The music, while enjoyable, doesn't fully capture the full Japanese atmosphere I was expecting. I would totally recommend to mix things up with modern and traditional Japanese music together! *The prices are quite high when compared to other Sushi restaurants, so you will need to have invested enough money for the purchases before coming here. However, their quality makes them worth the prices. Overall, The Sushi Bar is one of the best Sushi restaurants so far in Greece! Its quality is absolutely amazing with their asked prices and nothing can match it when compared to other restaurants of its kind. If you pass by it, I definitely recommend you give it a try! It's a once-in-a-lifetime moment you might possibly never experience!

I've been going to this place for nigh on ten years and it's never disappointed me. The service is impeccable (Maria, the proprietor is awesome) and the food is always incredible. And the ratio of price to quality is great. Honestly, this is one of the best sushi places in Athens and I am including fad restaurants like Matsuhisa in the list.

We walked in without a reservation, and even though they initially told us there weren't any tables available, they were kind enough to accommodate us for an hour and a half. Most of the dishes we tried were delicious, especially the vegetables and smoked saganaki. 2/3 pasta dishes didn't really impress me, but the 3rd one was delicious. All pasta is freshly made, which was a bonus! It's for sure worth a try (good place for romantic dates, too).

One the best Italian restaurants in south suburbs. Located in a quite neighborhood close to El. Venizelou and Achileos cross. It’s a small restaurant which offers protected outdoor seating all seasons. Menu is simple and it includes different types of homemade pasta. We do prefer salad with grilled shrimps and Parmesan flakes, linguini with porcini mushrooms and truffle oil and pasta with fresh tuna cubes (if available). They always offer welcome soup. Chocolate cream with almonds is delicious! Prices are mid to high end and service is very professional.

Really delicious pasta! I had the linguine with porcini mushrooms and was amazingly good! The bufalla as starter was a great choice! I do recommend it. And the vegetable plate too! The pasta is fresh, in house made and it is presented to you. And for dessert.. tiramisu was lit! Just go and try!

They charge me 5.5 euros extra without my permission. They brought bread and water without asking me and then charged me 5.5 Euros for something I didn't asked! At the end they asked: would you like to pay a tip?!

Excellent dishes of the day: fish and vegetable orzo

I came here with my wife and friends for dinner. We ordered the mixed platter for 4. Everything was delicious and very well cooked. The portions were good, as you can see. The atmosphere was not as good as it would normally be, as we were the last customers of the night. But that aside, it's a lovely place, with lovely staff and fantastic food. We will be returning in the future.

The worst restaurant in Athens! We do not recommend it! The owner was very rude. They refused to sell us the dishes that were on the menu unless we ordered extra meat, even though the dishes were available. Among other things, we ordered medium steaks. They were thin, completely burnt, hard and black. It was impossible to eat them. Everything was cold, and to make matters worse, everyone received their food at different times, so we couldn’t eat together. A terrible experience.

Real greek culinary experience! We’ve visited 3 times this restaurant during our stay near Athens. They have the food of the day so in our case they had green leaf salad and souvlaki. Highly recommend! We’ve tried many other dishes like risotto, fried squid, fried rolls,fava etc. My favorites are tzatziki and green leaf salad. Fries are homemade. Overall very good service for a affordable price! If you are visiting Athen, it is worth to visit this Restaurant!!

We ate here twice during our recent stay nearby. It's a lovely authentic neighbourhood restaurant. All the dishes we tried were delicious and the service was warm and friendly. The free yogurt desserts at the end were amazing ! Prices were reasonable too.

The taste has changed in the last 2 years. It's still very good, though. Recommend to get burgers with spaghetti and red sauce, beef liver and chicken.

Very cozy and nice place! I came in August for coffee and in November for hot chocolate. The owner is very nice and helpful. I chose to sit in the small space and in the lobby and was respected. Yes, there are two spaces. You can watch TV in the lobby and relax. You can also enjoy the quiet in the small space. It is very close to the beach. I definitely recommend it!!!❤️

I ordered a Coke, but it was not given to me when it was time to pay. But I can understand it was too busy. The service attitude is very average, I wouldn't want to come back for a third time. The food was okay, similar to other visits to Greece, a bit disappointing, but the dessert at the end was delicious!

I went with my sister and my son and it was an amazing experience. The strawberry diaquris were very well presented and tasted amazing, the waitress was a very kind girl, but unfortunately I dont know her name. The aperitivo was also super good and well presented, and ontop of all that the waitress also offered us a sample of alchohol which was very good. It's a very lovely bar with a great selection on the menu and it was very ambient and fancy. I definitely reccommend!

Not a bad deal for the money. The buffet has a lot of variety (including 2 different soups- both delicious!). All the appetizers were great (crab rangoon, pot stickers, etc.). Some of the main entrees though not so great: chicken not crispy enough, beef not enough flavor. Rice and noodles, very good. Excellent service. It won't become my favorite place, but I would go again.

We loved the food place was packed (that's the minus) and also you have to wait LONG TIME on a queue in order to eat (also a minus) Food is amazing but once you reserve you need to eat and go within 2 hours which makes it difficult to enjoy your time Atmosphere is plain nothing special because everyone goes for the buffet Buffet is definitely a value for money option 😋

What a wonderful restaurant. The food was freshly prepared and you can see and taste this. It was era tasty and there is a choice for everyone. There are soups, meats, rice, noodles, puddings, fresh fruit and ice-cream. Everything! We went for the evening buffet and I really liked it. It was my first time and you can see how it is run by small local family and they do everything to make it great experience. Food was good. Go and try it. Very tasty.

Cozy atmosphere with reasonable prices and quality. They offer an amazing buffet every week, that never empties out, so be prepared to eat a lot. Totally recommended for friend/date idea.

The attention was excellent... The food was very delicious... Dessert... ice cream, fruit... What we missed was the fortune cookie.. 100% recommended

It was ok for the price of 14€ per person for the buffet. My problem was that after 5 bites I was full and couldn't eat any more, note that I was hungry when I got there, which makes me think this is by design, but don't take my word for it.

4th of June 2021. Group of 2. Really tender chicken kontosouvli and tasteful pork kontosouvli. Delicious Greek salad 🥗 accompanied by a cool-cool fix beer. The most kind personnel with the quickest service.

me and my girlfriend ate there and got sick right after. kebab tasted bad, and pork stick was lowest quality. Don't eat here. you risk getting sick

One of the best gyros and souvlaki in Athens! Its a really nice, cosey and clean restaurant. Good service. Super good prices. I dont recommend ordering, due to (very) long delivery time at rush our. This is also an idication that a lot of people like this place ;)

Located in a quiet street in Paleo Faliro (a coastal municipality in Athens) away from the main and busy streets, on the opposite side of a (private) school. This is a restaurant with purely and only Greek food, mainly -if not only - meats. So, if you are up to trying kokoretsi (lamb intestines, wound around pieces of liver, lung,kidneys, seasoned with oregano, thyme, salt and pepper) well cooked to a crust on the charcoal, or kondosouvli (very tender pork, with its fat on a spit, seasoned with local herbs); you can also try a yaourtlu, which is gyros placed on pita bread and covered with fresh tomato pulp and yogurt. These are dishes that I have tried there. In the menu there are other suggestions like pork chops, souvlakis etc, accompanied by Greek salad, and the other dips and appetizers. Do not expect a wine list, beer is very good, ouzo and house wine, will suffice! The prices are reasonable too, about 15€ per person including the drink. The food portions are generous!!

Fine place, warm with nice people. The decoration and the food quality is a bit worse than expected but the prices are super low and the environment welcoming. I would suggest it for a quick bite or an inexpensive but good meal - dinner. Suggest meat is kontosouvli.

Arrived to Athens late in the afternoon on a Monday and stumbled on this place looking for lunch! It was perfect, family run and very friendly service. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a no nonsense delicious meal. Seriously very cheap as well!

We were so happy to come across this wonderful Tavern during our stay in Athens. The owners are the most welcoming people, very kind and such an excellent service. The meals are super fresh and delicious, whatever you choose, you can’t go wrong. And definitely don’t skip the desserts, they were very tasty. We hope to come back. Absolutely recommend it!

the chef of the restaurant is the nicest person I have ever met in a restaurant. he invited us to the kitchen, he was very friendly. the food is delicious and very cheap! we paid 85 euros for 6 dishes + 10 beers. I highly recommend 11/10!!! Boss, greetings from Poland

Our first meal when we arrived in Athens was here. They were quite full but made a table up for us. The lady serving was so friendly and helpful explaining the meaning of each dish and what it was. This was quite possibly one of the best meals we ate during our stay. The service, price and food were exceptional. One of the best desserts we’ve ever eaten. Absolute gem! Highly highly recommend!

Most authentic experience in Athens, the staff helped us to order and we had the best Moussaka we ever ate. They were very friendly (English speaking) and fair prices. The place has a very Mediterranean charm is very welcoming
