The food was so amazing the staff are friendly. We came 30 min before the dinner menu yet they still took our order. I order the delicate burger (vegan version) was so gooooooooood. For dessert we got tiramisu and something special that they made for me because of my food restrictions. The staff is amazing Definitely coming here again 👍🏻❤️

Beautiful place, the food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. They also had a great selection of drinks at good prices. The owner had perfect English and was patient and explained the full menu to us in English since it was just in Dutch. I also loved that we were not rushed and we were given the time to decide and eat slowly and relax and enjoy the atmosphere. I'd totally recommend. The poke bowl and the panna cotta were fantastic.

My friends and I came here to tour the park. One of my friends has a severe nut and seed allergy, which he made very clear. He ordered a dish and specifically asked for the pesto to be removed, along with clearly stating his allergy details. Unfortunately, the dish was still served with pesto, and my friend suffered an allergic reaction that lasted for the next four hours. Instead of offering medical assistance or even checking in on him regularly, the staff did nothing beyond providing water and giving a brief, insincere apology. We had to remain in the restaurant the entire time while our friend struggled to recover. Later, the manager approached us with yet another brief apology that sounded completely disingenuous, and then directed us to pay the bill. When we asked what measures they take to prevent situations like this, the response was simply that it was a mistake and that “they are only human.” When we pressed further about what steps could be taken to ensure this wouldn’t happen again, they insisted they already had proper measures in place and claimed they would call an ambulance or use an EpiPen if the situation were serious—neither of which was ever offered to us. At no point did they ask about my friend’s condition, check in, or offer any meaningful assistance. Even when we emphasized that his nut allergy is life-threatening, the staff responded with little acknowledgment. To make matters worse, they didn’t even seem aware that pesto contains nuts. This was a completely irresponsible, unfriendly, and unprofessional environment.

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had in my entire life. I was there with my friends and I informed my waiter that I had a nut allergy and asked him to remove the pesto from my sandwich. Halfway through my sandwich I realized there was in fact pesto in my sandwich, but it was not visible because it was under the salad. When I informed the waiter of this there was no urgency or regard for the situation at all. I sat in the restaurant for hours on end struggling to breath, completely swollen, wheezing, chest pains, itchiness, light headed, hot flashing, the worst reaction possible. My friends told me not once did the waiter or any of the staff come by to check on me, help me, or try to assist me in anyway, shape or form. After HOURS in the detrimental situation we were getting ready to leave and only then did the manager come by. When we expressed our grievances with how this situation was handled there was no accountability whatsoever. She said that with situations like this they would call an ambulance or give us an EpiPen because their staff is well versed in allergies but NO ambulance was called, NO EpiPen was given, and if their staff was really well trained then this wouldn’t have happened in the first place. People could die from this situations and I felt the staff wasn’t that serious about it. It is absolutely disgusting how this situation was handled, and complete disregard of such life or death situation is ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS! I would highly recommend you choose to eat out of a trash can before coming to eat here. Especially if you have any allergies or food safety concerns coming here would be signing your death wish.

The sandwich still came with pesto and we got a severe allergic reaction. The waiter showed was completely negligent of the whole situation and did not once come to check in on us and how we were doing. I am completely appalled by the lack of ignorance to safety in their food practices. Even when speaking to the manager about the severity of the situation there was no accountability whatsoever. This was a horrendous experience and am definitely not coming back. They could’ve very much been responsible for someone’s death and they did not care at all.

Awesome pancakes. I tried a sweet one. The salty looked tempting as well. The special beer was indeed special and was very refreshing after a long bike ride. The nutty cappuccino was rather disappointing.

We stayed in what the hotel calls ‘a lodge’: sounds grand but essentially a spacious room with bathroom. Nothing too grand but decent and clean. Breakfast was generous and tasty, with home made jam, fresh fruit salad, cheese, ham and delicious bread. Service is welcoming and professional. Dinner was very nice. Not big portions but good quality. They really make an effort.

There was cv kettle boiler sound just next to the room, although we called 3 times, noone took an action from reception. Overall it is a disaster and not recommended. Lots of amenities such as a swimming pool and sauna, nice rooms, but unfortunately the interior is a bit old. It looks like it's been cleaned, but perhaps due to a lack of customers the room had been collecting dust for a while. Also, there's traces of limescale which should require more attention. Dinner was pretty good actually. Quite a small assortment of breakfast for what one pays (15 euros). But overall, if you're looking for rest and comfort, this is a good place for a relatively low price.
