Where to eat: the 50 best restaurants in Mesa

Picked up the bean and cheese, parel, plantain and cheese, chicken, and the chicken and mushroom empanadas. Each one comes in it's own labeled bag, thankfully. From the outside this handheld savory or sweet treat is deep fried with a light and almost flaky crust. The insides are piping hot and delicious. The atmosphere is inviting and the patio is next to the mesa community garden near downtown.

I stopped in to pick up empanadas for lunch. I got the Achiote Potato, Cubana, cheeseburger, and cheese. They were all good. My favorites were the potato and Cubana. I also got the Carne Asada Fries. All the food was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other dishes.

The owner came over and greeted us at the table after we enjoyed our meals. It was a pleasure to personally thank him for the delicious food and my lovely birthday experience celebrating my 36th with my Little Family!

Came here solo & was pleasantly surprised at the empanadas they have tons of flavors. I highly recommend the cheeseburger one and the passion fruit margarita tasted super fresh!

I was skeptical at first when I got my order and thought it was not enough for what I paid but I gave it a chance and I was completely satisfied! The flavor was amazing and It filled my belly! I will be back

Our server was super nice and attentive. She followed up at a good pace but not too much. The food tasted good and the empanadas were crispy. We loved the plantains. Everything could have used a little bit more flavor. The salsa helped make up the difference though. Very flavorful.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at República Empanada in Mesa, Arizona, and it left a memorable impression—both for its ambiance and its food! Atmosphere & Decor: From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the colorful murals adorning both the interior and exterior of the restaurant. The lively artwork creates a vibrant atmosphere that’s both welcoming and inspiring. One of the coolest features is the long high-top communal table running the length of the restaurant’s center. It’s a brilliant setup that invites strangers to sit together, sparking conversations and making the dining experience feel fun. While they do have a patio that’s perfect for warmer days, on our chilly winter day we chose the cozy interior. Lunch Experience: For lunch, we sampled a couple of empanadas: • El Capitan: This empanada was filled with seasoned ground beef, potato, boiled egg, green olive, and golden raisin, all tied together with a delicious house-made sauce. • Pernil: Featuring slow-roasted, specially seasoned pork, this empanada was equally delightful, also served with the house-made sauce. To round off the meal, we also had the Maduros—ripe sweet plantains served with a side of Crema. Everything was absolutely delicious, making for a standout lunch that left us eager to return later in the day. Dinner Experience: Later that evening, we had plans to catch a show at the Mesa Arts Center and were looking for a great place for dinner, but ran out of time, so we thought we’d go back to República Empanada as it was nearby. Although it was busy and we didn’t have a reservation, the staff managed to squeeze us in, which we really appreciated given that a line quickly began to form behind us. The service was really slow—after about 20 minutes we werw starting to worry—but once our order was finally taken our drinks and finally food, did not take long at all. I enjoyed a beer while my partner had a house-made cocktail (a special for the night that was quite good, even though I can’t recall its name). For dinner, we tried a couple of different empanadas: • Cubana: Packed with pernil, ham, mozzarella, and dill pickle. • Jalapeño Ham Popper: Filled with grilled seeded jalapeños, cream cheese, and salted ham. While both were tasty, they didn’t quite hit the mark compared to the lunch empanadas. We also ordered the Arroz Colombiano, a hearty dish featuring a blend of shrimp, sausage, and rice cooked in the restaurant’s tomato blend with achiote, celery, onions, red bell peppers, carrots, and cilantro. It was a flavorful dish, though I was a bit disappointed to find only four shrimp in the mix. Lastly, the yucca fries were served, but they were cut too large and the seasoning and dressing didn’t really do them justice. Final Thoughts: Overall, my experience at República Empanada was a mixed bag—lunch was a hit with amazing flavors and a wonderful atmosphere, while dinner, though good, didn’t quite live up to the expectation set at lunch. Despite the slight hiccups during dinner service, the restaurant’s ambiance (with its inspiring murals and unique communal table) makes it a great spot to try, especially if you can time your visit for when it’s less hectic. I’d definitely recommend it for a casual, art-filled dining experience in Mesa!

We stopped in and found this is a really cute place, and wanted to love it. While the place was nice and cute, and the service was very friendly, we just weren’t thrilled with the food. I chose the ham and cheese melt with French fries, husband ordered the Reuben with house made potato chips. The ham and cheese was on sour dough, which I love, but the toasted bread was over toasted and crunchy and lacked flavor to me. The fries have a chili powder on them, but again were extra crunchy (outside and inside). Husband enjoyed the potato chips, but didn’t care for his Reuben. Maybe it was an off day, maybe other sandwiches would have been better…

The staff were welcoming. The food was delicious. We ordered a mimosa (oooh they're great), Mac n cheese, banana pudding (GET IT you won't regret it 🤤), breakfast burrito and the croquet Madame. Goodness everything was great! There wasn't too long a wait for our meal which was appreciated. We left very full and satisfied. There is a mini gift shop table that has some interesting things. Just FYI this is a very small cafe and will not be able to accommodate a larger size party. We have a family of 10 and I know the food is good and everyone would enjoy it but we couldn't come here randomly. there is outdoor seating that is a dog friendly patio.

was unfortunately left very disappointed by this years Bob's Burgers pop up. The cheese fries we got came raw and my PB and j burger did not have much flavor. The pizza Bagel burger we got, which cost $12, was about the size of my friends palm. We ended up going to get a pizza after because we were left hungry. I remember really enjoying the pop up and really like Worth on a normal day, but it was disappointing to spend so much money and leave unsatisfied. I am afraid that they may be focusing more on the events theming than the quality of food.

Super friendly staff. Sandwiches were good and used fresh, quality ingredients. Fries were good. Seasonal latte is coconut and was amazing!

Worth takeaway is a wonderful local hidden gem. They have mastered the art of the sandwich, and serve them with wonderful friendliness. Worth also hosts a variety of fun local events, so make sure you watch their calender!

This review is about the Jim Bob's Burgers event, as I have never had Worth Takeaway food. The event was outstanding! The merchandise was awesome and the hamburgers were great. I also really liked the French fries! The staff were all friendly and in really good moods. Downtown Mesa has become such an nice part of the valley! My wife and I can't wait until next year's event!!

Absolutely delicious food and an amazing location. I got their $6 Sammy and it was the perfect portion. Even though it’s an order and sit restaurant they still come around and check that all needs have been satisfied. They’re also pet friendly on the patio!!

I was visiting from Pennsylvania and this was my first time here. We order two pizzas along with spaghetti and meatballs and they were all very good. The organist was very entertaining he took requests and he played all of the songs I requested. It was a great show very entertaining while enjoying our meal. After the show I had a chance to speak to the organist who informed me that he played the famous Wanamaker Oregon which is located in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. The Wanamaker Oregon is one of the largest organs in the world. He was a very adept organist extremely talented and I figured he would probably have known about the Wanamaker. On my next trip to Arizona I will definitely visit again!

Absolutely great place to go have a fun night, especially if you enjoy music and pizzas. I’d recommend the second floor as that way you can look at the incredible variety of musical instruments that are in there. The musician takes requests and transitions from song to song really smoothly. Pizzas are great tasting and very affordable. Self service. You order when you walk in and then seat yourself and wait for your number. It’s a light-sound-puppet-effects show all in one! Look around for the less obvious but interesting details. (One hint- pay attention to the ceiling fans!) Will keep going back there especially when we have friends visiting.

Great place to go with little ones. Lots of tables and space for zoomies and dancing. My daughter’s loud pterodactyl screeches were totally acceptable because the music was so loud. She was able to zoom to her heart’s delight. I didn’t really like the pizza or ice cream and my daughter, who usually LOVES pizza, didn’t like the pizza either. She did approve of the ice cream though. I think it’s definitely worth going for the fantastic organ performance and if you have kiddos who want to dance and screech. A great performance. Mediocre food.

There are places you go for good food and there are places you go for an experience. Organ Stop Pizza gloriously, bewilderingly, hilariously, is both…though not in the way you might expect. Imagine: you walk into what appears to be an unassuming family pizza joint, order a perfectly serviceable pie at the counter, and then step into a dining room that looks like Liberace designed a cathedral for Chuck E. Cheese. The lights dim and suddenly the air comes alive. The walls literally breathe with sound as a massive Wurlitzer pipe organ erupts into being. Pipes shimmer, drums thump, cymbals crash, and a bubble machine (?!) lets loose as the organist (who must be equal parts magician and musician) launches into everything from Phantom of the Opera to the Star Wars theme. You can’t help but grin. It’s absurd. It’s theatrical. It’s absolutely wonderful. The crowd skews… well, let’s just say the average age in the room hovers somewhere between “retired” and “I remember when you had to crank your car to start it.” And yet, the childlike wonder is universal. Toddlers sit open-mouthed beside grandmothers who are tapping their orthopedic shoes in rhythm. Teenagers pretend not to care and then find themselves putting in requests. The pizza? It’s fine. Honestly, it could be made of cardboard and joy, and no one would mind. Because you’re not here for culinary greatness, you’re here for spectacle. You’re here to watch a roomful of people dissolve into laughter and applause under the spell of an instrument that fills every cubic inch of space with sound and nostalgia. Organ Stop Pizza is one of those rare places that shouldn’t work and yet it completely does. It’s pure unapologetic kitsch wrapped in genuine talent and served with a side of pepperoni. A glorious unexpected symphony of pipes, cheese, and delight. Come for the pizza. Stay for the organ. Leave with your faith in weird Americana fully restored.

It’s a unique experience that I recommend you try. Like a piano bar where you leave songs to be played but on a far grander scale with a huge organ and multiple other instruments. The food is good and not over priced. I recommend the PSM but I’m a fan of mushrooms on pizza. The spaghetti is good as well.

They take card now, it's not just cash only. The pizza is fine and the mechanics of the organ are impressive. It's a lot of kid friendly music, I don't think the organist will play any intense sounding songs if requested.

We were absolutely surprised at the skill of the organ player at the enormous Wurlitzer organ and all those organ pipes on different levels of the hall, plus about all the other instruments and the amazing sound. A nice place to come back to for celebration 👻

We went for traditional American fare, but got so much more. The wait staff was friendly, professional, and prompt, always checking on us but never intrusive with great recommendations. The atmosphere was great for dinner vibes, and I loved the open kitchen concept to know the care in creating the dishes and the food temps being perfect. Every dish was perfectly seasoned, plated and presented to impress, and the ingredients were treated with care and fresh/ripe/great quality. Even the bread and salad was done in house and to perfection. I was not expecting such a gourmet experience, and this blew us away. 5 stars and we will be back!

We stopped here after a horse ride out in the Superstition Mountains. It was just what we needed after a long ride. Service was great and the food was excellent. Everything was fresh and delicious. The place was packed but we didn’t have to wait and food was brought out very quickly.

We had a great time at Red, White, and Brew. It’s usually pretty busy, so when we went on 4th of July we expected a wait. However, they got us right in, and our food was served very quickly. We had the Sausage and peppers sandwich and the Crispy chicken sandwich, both of which were excellent. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive despite being busy with several tables. I highly recommend Red, White, and Brew and we definitely will be going back (or ordering take out). The pizzas looked amazing so we will be trying one of those next time!

We’ve been wanting to go here for a long time. Finally now that the snowbirds are gone, we figured it’d be a good time to try to get in because it’s usually busy. I believe happy hour is from 2 to 6 and the lunch menu stops at 4 so we thought a good time to go would be Fri around 2 to take advantage of the happy hour and lunch menu. we started with cocktails and happy hour mozzarella sticks. I’ve never had better mozzarella sticks. I believe there were six or eight, which was pretty generous for $10. I had the shrimp RWB And a side salad with ranch, my husband had the New York strip with baked potato and side salad. I’ve never had a crème brûlée before but it’s my Mother’s favorite dessert and I heard RWB’s is the best so I ordered it to go. Omg! It was delicious! We go to many restaurants and I’m hear to tell you this food measures up to any upscale restaurant I’ve been to. The shrimp dish was cooked perfectly and trust me not a lot of restaurants can get shrimp right and there was enough to feed 3 people. I had to take more than half of it home and have it the next day. My husband said that they cooked his steak to perfection, which doesn’t always happen for him. And the service was impeccable our server Danielle helped us by recommending dishes and cocktails. She was so kind and professional and attentive.. I did order the Arizona sunset cocktail, but apparently I didn’t know what Hornitos was and I can’t drink tequila. She happily exchanged it for something else. I would highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to go back.

The wings 🪽 were decent, the margarita was delicious I only had one, and downed like four waters and was walking. I saw an accident walking back was no one seriously injured so that’s good. I managed to pass a guy smoking 🚬 a cigarette today and I did just fine passing him by and didn’t ask to bum one, and I think am not too cranky. I will work out tomorrow as not to mess with my schedule that guy leaving the club has a cool backpack I want one. Wings 1lbs 17.50 cents they were decent size ATL’S still a bit better. Margarita 8.00 would be money better spent on whey protein and chicken breast, and veggies but is okay to go out once a week if you have met your workout goals and macros the rest of the week.

This place has very authentic and delicious perigees, sausage and so much more. The food is fantastic, the service is great and it’s genuinely amazing. You will never be disappointed by this unique and authentic restaurant. Everything is made by had with recipes handed down from generations. They also have a store with foods you won’t find anywhere else.

My family has Polish ancestry and finding food that is not only authentic but JUST AS GOOD as my maternal great grandmother's completely blew me away. I am speechless. Everything was exceptional. We ended up also checking out the market and buying some nut rolls and homemade balsamic vinegrette. The staff is highly knowledgeable, personable, and professional. They can explain all of the menu items and give you recommendations on what to order. The menu might be overwhelming if this is your first time experiencing this kind of food but it is one you will likely never forget!

This restaurant was amazing. I ordered the schnitzel plate which I highly recommend. My choice of potatoes were in patty form and the whole plate was very delicious including the side sauces. I also ordered 3 different types of pierogis and I can’t recommended enough to get the farmers cheese and potato one. The plates were very filling, super yummy and authentic to its culture. They also have a small euro market within the building too with lots of interesting European snacks and foods. I also really liked the atmosphere, very cozy and felt like a proper Ukrainian home. Definitely would recommend this place if you like good food!

Went here with my friends. They have a cute little grocery store that’s connected. The service was incredibly friendly though a little tiny bit slow because she was so busy and there was only one person helping Pat on the floor. I think that’s a good sign actually. The food was extremely delicious. I didn’t have a single thing that I didn’t like, and the portions were generous, I had enough to go home with for lunch the next day!! I highly recommend the cabbage roll with pork and mushroom on top. It was so good!!

Ok from outside this place looks sketchy and not even open. Once you go inside it is a whole new world. Charming atmosphere, nice staff and amazing polish food. We had spicy pickles, pierogies, two kinds of stuffed cabbage, kielbasa, Everything was delicious so pleasantly surprised .

There is definitely more than just pierogis snd everything I have tried has been fantastic! Wait staff was vert prompt and can walk you through ordering stuff you mayhave never heard of. A side note, their lunch specials are only available weekdays. Besides the restaurant they have a small market area which sells all the pierogies as most of the rest of the menu. Its very popular and they have some great snacks and even deli meat and fish. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend trying it out.

Never you mind any bad reviews for Myke’s Pizza. All their food is exceptional. I come specifically to eat Myke’s delicious meatballs. In a bowl, on a sandwich or pizza. Doesn’t matter. All highly recommended. Hold the Diet Coke with an ice cup. Im a grown up and only drink real drinks in a bar- restaurant. The service was impeccable and only cheery happy female employee brought my food. Anyone that expects to be treated like a king and served grapes and fanned should look elsewhere. We little people enjoy Myke’s.

Oh my goodness!!!!! This is one of the best pizzas I've had in my life!!!!! I got the Margarita pizza with pepperoni and my husband got the pineapple pizza! Plus the customer service was amazing!!! I just have to say Lluvia was amazing!!!! Such a sweet human being with so much information and just truly amazing! I HIGHLY recommend this place!

Some friends of mine recommended this place to me, because they know I love pizza. First time I stopped by it was very hard to find this place as they have no signage and it's actually a business within a business. Also, on that day, I believe it was a monday, the pizza side was not open, so I just left and went to Barros Pizza. Fast forward to today, I was shocked to find out that they have no wait staff and you order via a QR code. I don't prefer ordering through a QR code, but no problem, I get it it's 2025. Ordered the meatball sandwich and a Diet Coke. I was really surprised when they just dropped the sandwich to my table with a can of Diet Coke. The gal seemed bothered or annoyed when I asked if I could have a glass of ice. I am not happy with the forced tipping since you do not have waiters or waitresses, why do you force people to tip? When I say forced tipping, I'm talking about not offering the option of not leaving a tip, instead you have to click on customize and put zero. Not many people would know that if they hadn't read previous reviews. Meatball sandwich was okay, the marinara sauce is watery, and the meatballs tasted as if they were in a refrigerator and popped in the microwave and then put into the oven. Can't say I'll be rushing back anytime soon.

Not sure how to say this, but Myke’s pizza might be the best tasting pizza I’ve ever had. It’s been right under my nose (I work across the street and had no idea it was there). The ingredients are amazing, the “undercarriage“ of the pizza is crisp and holds all the toppings nicely. Not a bad thing to say about the service, food, and environment.

Myke’s Pizza in Mesa, AZ is absolutely amazing! I tried the Chorizo pizza, and it was bursting with flavor the crust was perfectly crisp and chewy, and the whole vibe of the place was just awesome. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and you can tell they put real care into every detail. This is a pretty cool place. It is very clean inside. You’ll see the staff maybe once, when they bring you the food, and that is it. You use your phone and a QR code to see the menu and to place your order. Not a fan of that stuff, but whatever. I tried the margherita pizza and it was really good. I also tried the pepperoni pizza with cracked pepper. It was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten. It is about $20 a person, and that’s if you just get a pizza and water, but it is really good.

Upon delivering a trailer we borrowed, we asked if there was a place he recommended to have breakfast. Jalapeño Buck's was just down the way. As curious as I was and the onset of being "hangry" was slowly approaching, I reluctantly ordered the 1/4 pound pb&j brisket sandwich. You read that right, peanut butter and jelly brisket. Who knew! The second I took a bite, that peanut butter melted into my mouth followed with that sweet jelly pushing its way at the corner of my mouth. Brisket was tender and tenderized just right for that combination to work. Did I mention the BUNZ! Toasted to perfection. Delicious 😋 Definitely a place I'm recommending. ❤️

First timer trying jalapeño bucks. Bought 2 green chili shredded beef burritos. While eating one I found small metallic pieces in the burrito. Very unfortunate flavors were great until I came across the small metallic pieces. Tossed both burritos away.

Surprised at how good their food was, the parking lot was under construction, people were extremely friendly and helpful. Customers weren't leaving even with the long Saturday night line. Definitely would go again.

My friend at I met at the restaurant around 12:30pm. I attempted to order brisket and pulled pork, but they rang up as double the price listed on their menu. The guy taking my order was thrown for a loop when I asked why, said he would need to all, but then didn't do so. He did apologize repeatedly. With an already long line getting longer behind me, I told him to forget it and give me the burrito combo plate. The tortilla was quality, and beans were good enough, but the people complaining about the lack of meat in these burritos are not kidding. There's more meat in a can of Pork n' Beans. The rice and beans served on the side were dry. I chose potato salad with the meal and it was standard mustard/Amish potato salad - nothing to write home about. I plan to give the restaurant another try for the BBQ meats we weren't able to get sorted out during my first visit. But, so far, Jalapeño Bucks sure as heck isn't living up to it's reputation. Seating consists of picnic tables, outside, in the south side of the restaurant. Keep that in mind if it's a hot day. Despite there being tons of flies, I won't hold that against this place. Parking and the pathway to the main buildings are dirt and gravel.

The food is the greatest all around but the flavors are to die for. I drive from Cardinals stadium just for their outstanding brisket burritos or anything else they make with with their brisket. This is a must try to find out for yourself kind of place. Pretty much made to take with you but they do have a few picnic tables in case you can't wait to sink your teeth in. Everything I've tried here has been completely satisfying. I could probably eat them every day for a month without wondering where I'm going to eat next. I highly recommend making this place a sure thing if you have not already been. Don't worry about the price being a little high. It is worth even more. Trust me.

The green chile burrito I had was very delicious. You just don't eat this like a regular burrito. You have to eat the inside first because the green chile and beef is like a stew. My nana and my mom made it the same traditional way. The tortilla is the final course. Seating is limited and expect a short wait for your food. Take it home or eat in your car.

This place is off the charts amazing. If you’re looking for a small authentic quaint locale with the most authentic Venezuelan cuisine and drinks, this is it! Friendly service great prices, and excellent atmosphere make it 5 stars easy.

This was my very first time trying an arepa, and I honestly don’t think I could have picked a better place to experience it. From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming energy of the space stood out. It didn’t feel like just another restaurant—it felt more like being invited into someone’s home. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and what really struck me was the genuine connection they seemed to have with the customers. You could hear people laughing, chatting comfortably with the employees, almost like they were longtime friends. That kind of atmosphere is rare and instantly made the experience even more enjoyable. As for the food—absolutely delicious. The arepa was perfectly made, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, packed with flavor and generous fillings. I also ordered a couple of side dishes, and everything was not only tasty but clearly made with care. The portions were more than satisfying, and you really get great value for the price. The food was hot and delicious. They were pretty quick for how busy they were. The service was pleasant and clean. We got sampler - cheese, beef and chicken. Plantains chips - crispy. The Venezuelan horchata - was thick and good.

Good food, mild flavors, at a great location in Downtown Mesa. Venezuelan food isn't very spicy, so don't expect the heat. You can expect fresh ingredients and a large selection of traditional dishes to choose from. The atmosphere is pleasant, the service is fantastic, and it's a great place to meet with friends.

My favorite plate was the Patacon, Arepa Carne Machacada and the empadas are incredible delicious and of course the guava and lemonade with panela was so refresh and delicious. Server was super friendly and love the music. Insolubly love the place!

First Venezeulan restaurant I I been to! Really different...really good! We had Arepa Pebellin - excellent! Comes with deep fried plantains instead good chips or fries - great choice. Had to ask what an arepa was: Venezuelan stuffed sandwich - worth it! We'll be back next time we're in downtown Mesa!

This is one of the few places that receives a 5/5 for me! I absolutely love the atmosphere and the staff are so kind and helpful. The food is beyond amazing, my only complaint is there isn't one closer to Surprise! I will be back as soon as possible

We enjoyed our brunch visit. We tried a variety of dishes. It’s so hard to have a favorite. We’re ready to head back this weekend and explore more menu items.

Our first time eating here from our of town & it definitely did not disappoint! The potatoes were seasoned just right, the yogurt parfait was delicious, my ultimate favorite was the biscuits & gravy! I could eat that everyday! My daughter got the chicken fried steak & even that was good!!! We are definitely going to be coming here everyone we're visiting AZ!

We had one of the best breakfasts ever at T.C. Eggington’s on Alma School Road. I ordered the Piglet’s Passion omelet, a side of soft bacon, and the strawberry smoothie. Nothing was left on my plate at the end. The omelet was hands-down the best I’ve ever had. Packed with flavor and perfectly cooked, it was absolutely on point. The diced potatoes were golden and crispy, the English muffin toasted just right, and the smoothie; WOW. Our server, Brenda, was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. ALWAYS SMILING. "Always Timely", we never had to look for her. Simply nailed it.

My attempt to order a 50-50 iced tea also fell flat, leading me to settle for the unsweetened version with lemon instead. It’s worth noting here that sweetening cold beverages typically requires liquid sweetener; something to keep in mind for future menu considerations. For my meal, I opted for the avocado toast topped with scrambled eggs and a pancake. First impressions matter, and the clean utensils certainly added to the overall experience. The avocado toast was delightful, boasting a great flavor profile with a nice spicy kick. The bread was enjoyable, although I would have preferred a slightly softer crust. This dish certainly earns a solid 4 out of 4. The pancake, while not visually impressive, surprised me with its balanced flavor, earning a respectable 3 out of 4. I would definitely order it again. However, I did notice that there was no follow-up from the staff during my meal, and I was disappointed to find that no military or veterans discount was offered. Additionally, the establishment's stance on certain issues, such as their anti-2A policy, contributed to a feeling of unease regarding safety, which is an important consideration for many diners. In conclusion, I genuinely enjoyed the meal; the flavors were well-crafted and left me feeling satisfied rather than heavy. Although the service was acceptable, I felt it lacked the warmth and professionalism I hoped for. This could be due to a focus on regular local customers rather than a broader approach to hospitality. Despite these reservations, I would recommend this place for the delicious flavors, but personally, I may hesitate to return based on the overall experience. Still, for those seeking good food, it’s worth a visit.

I had the Enchanted Forest Omelette. It was good, but i could have done with less filling in it. The jam with the toast was fantastic, but the potatoes were underwhelming. The coffee tastes alright but had quite a bit of grounds in it. Service was quick, pleasant, and overall excellent. Prices were fair.

Loved this place and love that they have so many options. I was in Mesa only for a couple of days and each day I went to this place tried a different omelette. Their food is tasty and serving is sumptuous. The staff is very sweet and courteous and made sure I had a great experience.

My wife and I were seated right away by the owner himself. The waitress was attentive but not overbearing. The food is second to none. Everything from the fried calamari to our pizza was amazing. Highly recommend this for a date night or lunch with the family. The owner takes pride in this place and the food and atmosphere are a reflection of that.

The entire experience at Vito's is always good, it keeps me coming back. Love the fried calamari and all the delicious pasta. The servers are always nice and super attentive too!

Love coming here for special occasions and whenever craving some good authentic Italian food. So many items to choose from, I try something different everytime I visit.i wasn't aware they have a drive thru, I think it is for to-go orders only.

Everything about this spot is fantastic. The atmosphere The service, the food, the ownership, everybody, including the general manager, was phenomenal. It was like a family atmosphere. Well taken care of I can't express how good the food was or how good the service was. I, I highly recommend I'm coming to vetos, if you're new to the area, or if you just haven't tried it and you're in the area, vitos is where you need to go I didn't catch any names of anybody that we interacted with, but the owner and the GM. Phenomenal people and just made us feel very, very welcomed. In every aspect I give 10 out of 10. I cannot forget the interaction with the straw on the chair i believe the owner was the one that happened to stop by and ask if it was ours. I did not notice the show. Was there? She then asked us for a bag. We said yes, she comes back with the bag and proceeds to say the straw mare may not be at the bottom of that bag as we are leaving I go to get in the car I reach in the bag I look at My fiancé and I go. The straw is in the bottom of the bag and we proceeded to laugh again.Ten out of ten experience phenomenal experience.

Our waiter, and various servers were so sweet. We love the food here but especially impressed by a few of the staff. We forgot our to-go box on the table and once we realized it and hopped out of our car, a sweet gentleman had already ran it out to us. 6/5 for our server and the sweet staffer that ran it out to us. I forgot our servers name but he was so kind, maybe Rob? Dan? Not sure but he was so kind.

The staff is so friendly and lovely. Yummy pizza, nice atmosphere. Good for families and couples!

Date night and a wonderful experience! Niki was awesome and attentive, drinks were great and flowing. She had steak, I had meatloaf...Yes meatloaf and it was great! Not too many places offer meatloaf and if they do it's usually not good. Charleston's is a dope spot, great food and service!

I met some friends here for dinner on a Monday night. The wait wasn't long at all. Our server was incredibly sweet and had a good sense of humor. My friends had raved about the food here - and I can see why! Delicious meal with good prices. I look forward to coming back to try more menu items.

We’ve been loyal guests of Charleston’s in Mesa for over six years and have been dining at Charleston’s locations since the Ray Road & I-10 days back in 2008–2009. This restaurant has been our favorite Sunday spot for years—but mainly because of one person: James. James has been the heart of our experience here. He’s the only reason we’ve continued coming back week after week. We always asked to be seated in his section, and more than once, we’ve waited over 45 minutes just to make sure we could enjoy dinner with him as our server. That’s how much of a difference he made. Unfortunately, we were shocked and deeply disappointed to learn that James was let go. Without him, Charleston’s just isn’t the same. We’re heartbroken—not just for ourselves as long-time guests, but for the team that lost someone who truly understood service and built real relationships with his guests. We’ll be keeping an eye out for where James goes next, because wherever he ends up, that’s where we’ll be dining. Until then, it’s goodbye to what used to be our favorite place. Best of luck, James—you’ve got fans for life. And Charleston’s? You just lost one. Picture attached shows how empty it is. It will probably only get worse as more and more loyal guests find out.

Charleston's is old school just the way I like it. Kinda like a TGI Fridays, but it's better. All the entrees come with tasty sides that you can choose. The chicken fried chicken and salmon entrees are great. I think they have the best artichoke-spinach dip in metro Phoenix. Burgers are great. Charcoal grilled and you can do medium rare to well done. My favorite is the hickory burger. Bartenders and wait staff are very friendly and efficient.

The worst prime rib I have ever had . Please don’t make the mistake and order it. Ordered medium and got this.. Could barely cut it and lack of flavor was hard to comprehend . Was it just me ? No I let my wife take a bite and it ended up in a napkin sorry. The bread pudding was a mistake as well. Ice cold on one side and hot on the other . Not sure how that happens but maybe it was frozen ? The picture of the steak was what was left and the waiter said nothing. I am not one for complaining I figure reviews are where it’s at .I would give the service a higher rating but to ignore taking that entire steak back and not saying is just not good service .

A bit of a wait for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Only one other table occupied. Dimly lit. The server was friendly. Big servings match the pricing. Serve warm fresh cornbread after ordering. Ribs were tender and do not come with the sauce on them, which I like. Q rolls were really good. Complimentary order of fried donuts to go.

This was amazing! Never thought I would find BBQ I like so much in AZ coming from the south. The cornbread is soft and flavorful and almost melts in your mouth. The Q Rolls are amazing - a great starter. We ordered the Hawg Heaven which has beef brisket, we got St. Louis ribs and beef ribs, and pulled chicken. The Mac and cheese didn’t disappoint neither find that potato salad and loaded mashed. All in all it was a wonderful experience and we will be back.

Wonderful experience here with my husband for my birthday! Our server was just as fantastic as the food. 10/10 would recommend and we will definitely be coming back. The baby back ribs, Mac and cheese, loaded mashed potatoes, donuts, Q rolls were all incredible.

Wow!! This place never disappoints. Started with Q Nachos with brisket added and that was Amazing. Then had the 3 beef rib combo with potato salad and mac n cheese as the side.. Very Delicious 😋 Also the customer service we received from our waiter Calvin as well as his manager Josh was Superb...Top notch 👌 We've never been treated so nice and felt like Vip's. Calvin was on point with our food & drinks throughout our visit. Never had to ask for refills. Also they were very both knowledgeable on the items on the menu with recommendations on popular food choices. We will definitely be returning again for our BBQ fixes and will ask for Calvin as our waiter for sure. 🙂

Cal was amazing and really friendly! He helped us with the menu and gave helpful recommendations that are true to portion. We had two birthdays in our group and the free desert portions are quite large. We got the drinks in the fun glasses and it was a very nice accommodation.

We were even given complementary bag of mini cinnamon sugar donuts which were soft and delicious. IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATION!! Worth the price for how rare it is to eat this type of steak that has such a long process to make and all the hard work that goes into its premuim quality, which does not do it justice. This is the only place I know that does a 62-day aged steak for a fairly decent price that is a true masterpiece, where time intensifies its flavor and tenderness. The extended dry-aging process concentrates the meat's natural "beefy" taste, while enzymatic reactions develop rich, nutty, and umami notes. As the natural enzymes break down muscle fibers, the steak becomes extraordinarily tender, offering a melt-in-your-mouth texture. With its unique balance of firm exterior and juicy interior, this steak delivers a luxurious, deeply flavorful experience that showcases the artistry of aging. What made the experience even better was the staff. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and provided perfect recommendations based on our tastes. Their warm, friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. Cornbread before the meal is the best ever! Fresh doughnuts after the meal sealed the deal! St. Louis Style ribs were fall off the bone tender and so flavorful. Loaded mashed potatoes were so good as was the Mac and cheese! The server was also awesome for our group of 11. On top of refills, friendly and nailed everyone’s order.

India Oven 1315 S Gilbert Rd #5204, Mesa, AZ 85204 Tonight, I had the pleasure of showing a commercial property listed at $1.2 million, and afterward, I was excited to satisfy my craving for Indian food. Luckily, Indian Oven was nearby! I've been enjoying their fantastic lunch buffet for the past 10 years, but this was my first experience with their dinner buffet. Wow, what a delightful surprise! The food was absolutely incredible. The naan was exceptionally tasty, and every curry I tried was bursting with flavor. Even the Tandoori chicken was out of this world! It felt like there was a special magic in the air at dinner. I can't wait to return and relish more of their amazing dishes!

I just had dinner buffet here and came with high hopes of revisiting a family favorite restaurant. I was highly disappointed. The food tasted like it had been sitting there for hours. Samosas were dry and oily. Veg salad tasted and looked old. Noodles were flavorless and soggy. Everything was disappointing besides the garlic naan and the gulab jamun. The restaurant was literally empty and service still wasn’t as speedy as I would hope. Nothing was worth a second round at the buffet. I saw the waiter fill up a DoorDash order with the same food that had been sitting at the buffet. I definitely did not get the fresh tasty food I remember getting. I am very unhappy that I spent $50 on this.

We visited this Indian Restaurant for the first time It’s a nice place, with a dinner buffet. There are clearly marked portions of the buffet for Vegan options. The food all tasted great, they had many Vegan options, but also some meat. They bring fresh made breads to the table as you eat. There was chai tea & mango juice as well as some sweets. Friendly staff. They were open late 10pm

There are several really good choices for Indian cuisine around the Phoenix metro. India Oven, with its lunch and dinner buffets (not to mention their South Indian chaat table on weekends), now takes the prize in my book. Selections range from savidy puris you assemble yourself with channa, rice, yogurt, coriander leaves, and chutney ... to scrumptious lamb or tender chicken curries and everything that goes with them. Atmosphere is pleasant, and staff is friendly and helpful. The only negative, for me, is that I have to drive 20 to 25 minutes to get there. (Any chance of opening another location, near Camelback Mountain or Piestewa Peak?) I love this place. I'll try to add some photos soon.

I have had Indian food at many places, this one is amazing. I went for lunch 09/30/2025 and it was indeed delicious. I don't know all the food at the buffet, but I'm learning and it all tasted familiar (and some tasted heavenly). I'm a big guy, one plate was enough for me along with a cup of mango lassi. The people are kind and friendly. That and the music playing in the back ground made the experience that much better. I will be going back and I'm glad I found them here on google.

Updated review (2025): Used to love India Oven, but the standard has gone down in service and quality. I think management or ownership has changed. The place feels run-down, and the food is bland with poor presentation. Heartbreaking to see such a favorite decline. Naan thank you. Original review (2019): India Oven is great representation of Indian food here in the valley! The mango lassi, tandoori chicken, naan bread, and the various curries are amazing! The food has been fresh each time we have visited. Buffet prices range from $10.99-$15.99, depending on if it's lunch, dinner, or the weekend. It is fair and appreciated during this time, when everything has gone up in price. But the best part is the people who work here. They are so kind and attentive! I look forward to the next time we eat here.

Work lunch today fell very far below expectations. The mint chutney tasted rancid. The vegetarian food nearly all had dairy products which limited the options for our vegan party. The chai tea was bland compared to what it had been in the past. The chana entree tasted "off." The naan and the service were good. We will not be returning to India Oven again soon, sadly, though it was one of our regular lunch rotations.

Food was okay. Beans and potatoes and tortillas don’t taste very good. Maybe the oil is overused, but I recommend skipping the carbs here.

This place is true to the authentic New Mexico cuusine. WE ARE From New Mexico and we can atest to the magnificent green and red hatch chili flavors all New Mexicans have grown up with. It was truly a home like feeling for us while we are here in Arizona. Thank you to the owner who was extremely welcoming .

Me and my father love this place. We have been loyal to this restaurant for over 20 years. The green chili smothered burrito is a staple every time we go. I hope you like it hot!

This was a first time visit and recommendation from my friends, friend. The food was delicious but the space is tight if you have a larger party. We had a party of 6 and a baby and it was a tight fit around the table for us. Aside from that, the food was delicious! Everyone enjoyed their meals and we were all sharing with one another and raving about how delicious it was. I would definitely return but would be more picky about where they seat us for a group of 6 or more.

I love all 3 of their locations in the Phoenix metro area and recommend all 3. The food hasn't disappointed yet and I have been a customer for over 25 years now. Their house margaritas are absolutely fantastic!! I do not have 1 favorite item here as I truly love everything they serve.

Best customer service I've received in along time. The owner was walking around checking on tables, haven't had this kind of service since I was back home. You wanna talk about authentic Mexican food with a spice to it this is definitely your spot. My wife don't like spicy food but she loves this spicy food that for sure. All cute friendly service mind staffs who don’t hesitate to take care once you go inside. Get you drink, serve you with appetizer with 2 sauces (I don’t know the name) but taste so great. More over. Another dipping sauce made from avocado. I don’t like avocado but need to admit this one taste like heaven and can’t stop eating until main dish serve. Mine get spicy shrimps with homemade taco and rice. Not spicy to me at all but tasty and I love it. While my boss and customers get others that not spicy. All 4 dishes serve side dish with bean 🫘 . Taste also good but I’m not a fan of bean. So I didn’t eat all of them. I wish I could have more time to survey more because decorations are really interesting. Menu are various and define which one is spicy with this >🌶️ to let you know. Also vegan menu and keto menu available too. Dessert menu exists but we stuffed. So just take home pizza Will visit again to try more menu.

The foods is good like most places . But, Just stop going there because there was a fly on top of my soup the last time but didn’t want to make big deal out of it so we just left. The Service was poor too always long wait for foods and is hard to get server attention to even ask for help or refills water. They never really look at you and server others before you. They make you feel like you don’t belong there with cold service.

Hodori Korean restaurant liked by many locals serving traditional Korean dishes and tasty complimentary sides aka “banchan” like kimchi, bean sprouts, fish cake, sweet potatoes, pickled cucumbers, etc. There’s a Lunch Special Menu available Monday - Friday, 11:00am - 2:00pm (excluding holidays). Dined in for lunch with a large group aside from being already busy they were able to accommodate us and reserved tables for us. Service was good and staff were working hard. Had to wave a couple of them down for refills at times, understandable it was a packed restaurant. On the menu: Jap Chae Haemul Pajun - Seafood Pancake with scallions Spicy Pork Bulgolgi Chok Kalbi - marinated Short Ribs Bibim Bap Kimchi Chigae - Kimchi Stew with Pork O Jing Uh Bokum - Squid sautéed in spicy sauce with vegetables All the complimentary Banchan Everything we ordered was pretty good! Food seasoned well and the spice levels were on point too. Everyone enjoyed dining here for lunch we were all happy and bellies were full.

Absolutely LOVE this place! This was the first time we stopped in for dinner since we usually come by for lunch and it was completely packed and lively inside. Our server was very friendly and gave us some great recommendations. The food always tastes very fresh and full of vibrant flavors.

First time visiting. Ordered Jokbal, Japchae, and Cheonggukjang. Japchae was overall good but sweet for me. Found some kind of string from Japchae but didn’t mind too much. And ordered Jokbal from menu but somehow I got Pyeonyuk instead. Disappointed but ok anyway. Cheonggukjang was just great for me.

Very good food and authentic! We are hosting an exchange student from South Korea and she said that when she walked into the restaurant, it felt like she was back home in Korea. The chop sticks, water jug and even the stainless steel cups were just like home! The food was served fresh, hot and very fast. The staff is very friendly a.d overall a good experience.

Loved everything about this visit! The service was good, atmosphere is casual, and food is 10/10! I loved all the food items and would get them again. There was a lot of flavor and authenticity to it all. I would highly recommend the boneless short rib and the kimchi pancake! You can’t go wrong with any menu item here.

Food is always great. Came with a group of 8 for lunch and everyone found something on the menu. Large selection of Korean dishes including seafood. Also a large range of spice options. The Army soup was a hit as a sharable with the table.

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem and incredibly accommodating. We had a party of 20, and they were able to fit us in on short notice. Our group was served by two outstanding servers who went above and beyond to take care of us. I was very impressed—it definitely made me look good as a host. I’ll certainly plan future large events here without hesitation.

High ceilings, bright interior, great service, easy parking, delicious food. Our server was polite and attentive. I had the bacon-wrapped dates and my friend had the Southwest chop salad and loved it. For me, the bacon could have been a little thicker and crisper but it was still very good.

Kind of a limited menu for dinner, however the food we got was still really good, there just weren't a ton of options. The ceaser salad, crab cake, and meatball appetizers were so good!! Drinks were really good! Cool atmosphere beautiful outdoors!

What a great venue tucked away in an industrial park. Wonderful, creative dishes where the ingredients are all sourced locally. Must try the desserts. Hannah was an impressive server who did something special for our anniversary.

This restaurant is one of the best in Mesa, with a cozy patio, elegant indoor seating, and friendly, professional service. The menu changes often, but the food is always incredible, from the appetizers to the main dishes and desserts. It’s the perfect spot for a date night, and definitely a place worth returning to.

So yes is this a place you need to come to for fried chicken and amazing food. The chicken was seasoned perfect 👌. The crispy outside of the chicken was just amazing, and being cooked so perfect with the juicy meat. The fried green tomatoes and okra was a great appetizer to get those taste buds going. Coloard greens is one of the sides and they truly aren't bad at all. Mac and cheese was cheesy enough and flavor for sure. The cole slaw complements the hint of spice from the chicken. I did enjoy the flavor of the bake beans as well. So this place is a must return when I can.

We ordered take out and the chicken blew my mind! I like this style of fried chicken and every bite was awesome! The spice was a great surprise for me! Fried pickles fried green tomatoes too were amazing! Definitely ordering for Here again!

Their chicken has the right amount of heat, in my opinion. The spices are enough to wake up your taste buds without setting your tongue on fire. I first walked in ready to just get take out, but there were a few tables eating and I realized it would be much easier to eat it in store. Everyone was happy and laughing, it was a good vibe. My experience: First, my server (I think his name was Leo) was very knowledgeable, attentive and so friendly. He definitely boosted the experience. Second, the food... I was going to get a sandwich but I asked for his recommendation. Hr asked the right questions and then recommended I get the dark meat. I did the two piece with two sides. I got mac n cheese and he recommended the slaw but I don't like things that are sweet so I got the collard greens. I must say, everything came out hot and delicious. The mac is a perfect creamy ratio, I did add a little salt but I'm a very salty person. The collard greens were perfect as is, but the server brought out some peppers that people usually like in it. I tried it and YES. I will now start putting them in, I love the little extra kick they give. The chicken was juicy and had great flavor. Overall, great Southern fried chicken place. I recommend you give it a try! Next time, I'll be trying their pie and ice cream! It just didn't sound good to have with my beer this time!

The most amazing fried chicken - and I’m from South Mississippi. They have good sides and a good root beer float! The staff was very friendly as well. Can’t wait to go back.

We stopped in for some lunch. Great food. Chicken tenders were great. Fried chicken was tasty. Crispy, juicy and cooked perfectly. Prices were reasonable for the quality of food. Baked beans were tasty, more savory than sweet which was a nice touch. Coleslaw was good, not too much mayo. Wait staff was friendly and quick. Food is made to order so it takes about 15-20 minutes for your food to arrive at the table, plan accordingly. 10/10. Will go back when I want good fried chicken.

First time patrons at the taco chiwas. Impressed with the dive bar type atmosphere in downtown mesa. Burritos and taco and quesidilla were really superior. Will be back. Won't order a Marguerita unfortunately as they appear to be much too expensive or there was a mistake on my billing. Draft beer was only 7 but two Margueritas came out to 37. The reciept said double and tall. They werent unless this is how chiwas describes regular glasses. I didn't really notice at the time but now I am questioning how much I paid. Over all my impression of the place is very positive. Love the location downtown. Love the vibe, love the eclectic mix of patrons. Will be back but not for the Margueritas.

Best street tacos? Go to Tacos Chiwas! We went yesterday to the location on Mesa and had a great experience. The location, on Main Street, is simple and easy. Order at the counter, and almost before you can get seated, food arrives, freshly made, efficiently delivered. Friendly staff, reasonable prices. We love lengua tacos, abs these were perfect. We each ordered two, and had to go back for more. If you have ever been squeemish about eating tongue, ease into the experience by trying Tacos Chiwas lengua tacos. Of course they offer many other tacos and burritos abs dessert and drinks... it is the total packs, IMHO

My fiancé and I popped in at 7:30 pm on a Monday and were greeted immediately by one of the bartenders. There were patrons at tables both indoors and outdoors, but plenty of seating and service was super fast! Between ordering and receiving our meals, maybe 7 minutes passed - they're that quick! My fiancé ordered 5 tacos and I enjoyed the chicken quesadilla - we both agreed the food was fantastic and we would be back. An extra shout out to the kitchen staff, I have severe allergies to shellfish (there is shrimp on the menu) and to pumpkin (they have a seasonal pumpkin cheesecake) and the kitchen has the shrimp at a separate station and the pumpkin was kept to the dessert station. I was able to eat my meal safely and I'm very grateful to their diligence on food safety.

A hidden gem if you know and love real street tacos, frijoles, and street corn. Its their meats! They treat them with love and the right flavors before they put them 8n their tacos, burritos, quesadillas, or gorditas. They even have lengua! Trust me, just try it.

A small taco shop downtown Mesa was perfect for a quick lunch. I had one shrimp and pollo taco. The shrimp taco was good and clean. I had it w/o the mayo. However, the chicken taco was AMAZING! The chicken tasted freshly grilled. It has picked onions and lettuce and seasoned to perfection. Squeeze the lime on top. The strawberry cucumber margarita was refreshing but a little pricey for 4 sips. Make sure you ask for a little ice if you order one.

Never met a Taco place I didn't like....until Tacos Chiwas. If I could give 0 stars I would. Upon arrival, it was packed, so I thought it was a good sign. Boy was I wrong. Ordered 3 different tacos. Chicken, asada and another one I don't recall. Took a single bite from each,two I was able to swallow but awful. one, I had to literally spit out in my napkin. Like something a little kid would do, I know it was ridiculous. It was that shocking! Not because of too spicy, just the flavor. Not sure if it was the neat or the seasoning or marinade or what? Literally this has never happened to me before, like at any restaurant EVER in all my life. There's been places I've though well eh, it's ok but won't go there again, but was still able to eat the food. Thought I'd POLITELY ask for a refund, was Politely declined by the manager. She told me to look around,how popular and busy they are, no one has ever complained and since nothing was wrong with the order other than I simply didn't like it no refund would be given. It was a long shot but thought I'd try. 14$ lesson learned. Thank goodness I didn't get an order to go home to the family, as was the plan. Nope. Never again. Now I have to point out, that everyone else I was with, found their food fine. It was literally just me. Sometimes I will try a second visit when I go places but this was so shockingly awful, I just can't . Also, the place was hard to find parking, small and cramped inside but seemed clean enough.

Loved this place. Was better then what I was expecting. Very cute in my opinion. The food was so great and I asked the waiter if they could do a cinnamon roll with icing saying Happy Birthday, and he said he'd ask and he ended coming out with a candle. Just love that they tried, meant a lot. Definitely coming back to this place.

I am a huge sandwich fan and this was one of the best sandwiches I've had EVER! Absolutely delicious! Even the fries were amazing! This brings me back to when food was actually good. What a hidden gem! I will be back!!

Sometimes when you eat somewhere, you notice the little things. My wife ordered a traditional breakfast- two eggs, choice of meat, potatoes and toast. She ordered corned beef hash. It was perfect. My 3 meat omelet was great. But it was the hash brown potatoes that hit me. The little things. Most restaurants don't put much effect into the potatoes. They're just plate filler. They're just a side. When someone puts extra effort into the little things, you can rest assured the big things matter to them more. The hash browns were as perfect as the corned beef and it was accompanied by our perfect server. I am upset with myself for not remembering her name. I wish I could give her the credit she deserves. I would highly recommend Crackers, especially the location off Country Club ave.

Wow, what a surprise! The Original Blue Adobe Grill, 144 N. Country Club Dr, Mesa, was almost a random lunch choice from a list when queried of Google. When arrived a little before noon, and there were maybe half a dozen patrons. We were promptly seated by Kay... very gracious... and we were quickly noticing the different meal/food options. Tho we new it advertised as being a New Mexican cuisine, we found it was more than that. Still New Mexican, but mixed with some great, innovative additions. First, I'm impressed with the quality paper napkins, large, thick, ready to absorb liquids that find their way to your hands and face, which they must if you want to dig in and enjoy this great food. Our water glasses were kept full, the food arrived at just the amount of time after the order was placed, letting us know it was freshly cooked. The portions were large, enough that all 4 of b is adults could bring home tonight's meal, also. Please check the photos and descriptions to see how pleased we were

We were first greeted by an older woman with short gray hair, and unfortunately, her attitude set a negative tone right away. Arriving shortly after 5 PM on a Wednesday, the restaurant wasn’t too busy, yet we were met with visible frustration for not having a reservation. Rather than a warm welcome, we were chastised, and I even overheard her venting to a server before returning to inform us—rather curtly—that we’d have to wait 30-45 minutes while they put tables together for our party of 6. Noticing several open tables, I politely asked if splitting our group would be easier. She responded with an eye roll, walked away, and proceeded to drag tables and chairs around with clear annoyance, making it obvious how much of an inconvenience we were. The group of 4 behind us, also without a reservation, immediately left after witnessing this. I wish we had done the same! I would have preferred if they had simply said they couldn’t accommodate us rather than making a scene. As for the food, it was underwhelming. The salsa was the highlight, but the enchiladas were mediocre, and the carne adovada was disappointing—more like dry pot roast covered in an overly sweet, mole-like sauce. The green chile corn chowder was barely touched. Thankfully, our waitress was friendly and attentive, which helped salvage the experience, but overall, the food fell short of representing true New Mexican cuisine. On a positive note, the women’s restroom was clean. Life’s too short for just ok food, and unfortunately, this spot didn’t live up to expectations.

Shout out to Amelia for being one of the best servers I've had all year. She was great. I'd always wanted to go here and I'm glad I finally did. It's really neat inside, love the look and mixture of decor. The food...was fantastic. Every single thing was delicious. Great salsa, top cheese crisp I've ever had with real green chile and they don't stiff on the margs. The carne adovada is just to die for. The spices and the sauce...my god. Good portions of course, got to enjoy it just as much later that night. Very happy with my visit. Took my mom here for her birthday and it was a hit. Thanks!

The food was amazing hands down the BEST Salman I've ever had just amazing. Service was good, it's A bit loud in there so I'm not sure if our server could hear Me on A few occasions. There was A strange girl with no shoes on. Who approached Me outside on My way in who I thought was someones child at first. She wanted to know if she could just walk inside with Me like she was with Me or something🤷‍♀️ But when I asked why she wouldn't tell Me So My answer was A fat No! She did at some point enter the restaurant and was very abruptly escorted right back out by the owner and asked to leave! That's when I realized that she might not be A child after all, instead she was A street walker who just looks very young! So great restaurant fanominal food location is not the best being on Country Club. Oh and be prepared to wait for A table! This was actually our second time driving there from AJ for dinner. We walked out the first time around cause we were hungry and An hour long wait wasn't happening for us that night! And they don't take reservations either! So be prepared to wait. We were told 45 minutes this night but only waited about 25 minutes.

I have lived in AZ for decades and had never been here. The food was great, unique and flavorful. The place was busy! Food came out quick and drinks were cold. Totally recommend!

Stacked beef enchiladas with an egg is consistently delicious. Service was scarce, and hurriedly served-they were busy and short handed. It is not the best looking place and it goes to show you that you can’t judge a book by its cover.

Great little find!! Service was great (Lazo was our server), food was even better. And more than we needed!! Killer Margaritas were top notch!! Queso was excellent, not watery like you get at other restaurants. Works definitely return.

I had been here years ago, and just recently rediscovered it. GREAT beer selection. the $13 meal deal is my favorite thing to get here. Also on Wednesdays $5 WINGS. Heck yeah. And the Strawberry Shortcake PIEZOOKIE... my favorite.

Great spot to get out of the heat and hang out. Started with the watermelon margarita. Fantastic flavor. Usually watermelon flavored things taste like dirty feet. This one was on point. Had the Bjs wings for an appetizer. It comes with a different sauce on them. I probably would have liked the buffalo sauce better but they were still tasty. Got the protein bowl with blackened chicken as usual and was not disappointed. My buddy has the jambalaya and said it had great Cajun flavor. Great experience. Clean facility, friendly staff

We have been coming to bjs for years. Mesa is our favorite vibe. The food is always great, the calamari is a must!!! Leona has served us several times and is always top notch, but this visit was especially appreciated! Our 3yr old was having a “rough” night. She went out of her way to help cheer him up and succeed! Thanks for assuring our family that we were not a nuisance. Family friendly place!

Great place for the family to come e hot a good meal. The food was good. Customer service was awesome. The manager Chris was doing his rounds and making sure everyone was happy. Good place for a few beers and fish and chips!

I had such a great dining experience at BJ's, and a big part of that was thanks to our amazing server, Leona! She was absolutely exceptional—super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely kind and on top of things, and she made our visit feel extra special. I ordered the pita tacos, which were delicious—perfectly seasoned and really fresh. My boyfriend went with one of their burgers, and he couldn’t stop raving about how juicy and flavorful it was. The food was great, but Leona truly made the experience stand out. We’ll definitely be coming back, and we’ll be asking for her again!

Came in with a big group of eight and they welcomed us right in and sat us down. Some of the best food I've had in a long time, it's home cooked comfort food you just can't get anywhere any more. The owner is hilarious, and very kind he really was the best part of the whole place. The beer he had me try was delicious, and don't whatever you do skip the dessert menu. I really enjoyed my visit and will be making more. Don't pass this place up because you're missing out if you do. My friends and I will be back. I wish I had taken more photos but the food and the company was just too good to stop for photos.

I can't believe how long I waited to check this place out. The food was amazing. The service was great. Blondie made sure we had everything we needed and answered any questions we had. The beers were great. The German music playing was great. Don't skip dessert! I cannot recommend this place enough.

What a rare and fabulous find in a very unexpected location! The schnitzel was perfectly done with a fabulous spice. We had a multitude of different dishes in our party and all agreed they were amazing. The red cabbage and German potatoe salad were piping hot and very tasty. The beer was a small selection of the typical items. There were quite a few people in the dining area but service was fast and efficient. The music was such an awesome touch you honestly forget you're in a strip mall in Arizona. You know this place is good when you see the large number of to go orders. If beer isn't your jam, get the lemonade - i could drink this everyday.

First time guest and I ordered the cordon bleu schnitzel. Half way through eating realized the middle is raw. Immediately stopped eating. Atmosphere seemed great while I was waiting for my pick up order. Truly upsetting and will not go back again.

I was immediately a fan of the atmosphere here and learned German states from the inscriptions hung around the establishment. Nice vibe. My friend and I wanted to try some authentic German food but were a bit disappointed to be frank. The schnitzel was flavorless, dry, and fell flat. The red cabbage was good, yet the dumpling was lacking. The cake seemed like it might be a box cake. I see many good reviews here and I am sorry I did not share the same experience as them.

Green corner is the best restaurant you can go if you love Mediterranean food. They have a wide selection of halal options: Mediterranean grills, hummus, falafel, shawarma, tabouleh, soups and others. Prices are so affordable compared to the amount of food. One plate can be shared with a buddy. They also serve you a free box of baklava with each plate you order. The place is clean. I have been there many times, and it’s mostly crowded. The restaurant has a plenty of parking lots, clean toilets and indoor and outdoor dining area. Staff are kind and friendly. Recommended. Must try their crunchy falafel.

Portions were generous. Gyro was really good. The beef shawarma was dry and chewy. The free baklava was a pleasant surprise. Service got a 3 because the cashier was on the phone for a long time while we waited to order along with a huge line behind us. You always serve the customer in front of you (a rule I learned when I was a restaurant host). There’s no reason she should be dealing with takeout orders during the lunch rush.

Upon entering this restaurant I was a skeptic due to the number of customers in the restaurant. The place was packed. No way they could mass produce good food. After waiting some time to order and for food to arrive I was proven wrong. Every bite of every side and course was excellent. The rice, perfect. The salad fresh and the dressing great. The pita bread and tsaziki (sp?) Great. The Gyro? Not the best in town but very good. Even the french fries were battered and seasoned to perfection. Without a doubt. Top 5 in Phx easy for mediterannean food. And yes I will be back.

This was my first time at this location and glad I stopped in. The restaurant was nicely laid out and the staff friendly. I bought the mixed Shawarma Plate, and it was enough food for 2 or 3 people. Next time I go with my wife we will just split the plate between us. I liked that it was fresh, filling, and did not leave me feeling heavy afterwards. Definitely give them a try!

What a great VIBE! On a Thursday - wow! Food is flavorful. Staff is wayyyy friendly. And they offer Military Discounts :-) Recommend the Baklava :-)

Ate at this restaurant almost everyday when I was visiting this Mesa. Their staff is also nice. Quantity is good on a platter.

12/9/23: highly recommend Nunthaporn's. Why not 5-stars? They did not have sticky rice or Thai custard for dessert (yes, we went to another Thai place for this) :-) . Four of us stopped in Saturday at 4:30. Cute little place that we discovered is bigger than what we saw - as we walked out after dinner down the street, we saw they had a whole second dining room. They have a small parking lot immediately behind their place, but there is also parking out front (if you want to brave Main Street), and also plenty of free city parking lots southwest of their building. The young gal who took our order was very nice, and repeated our orders as we gave them to her and even did so again after we all had ordered. The food did not come out quickly, so cool your jets if you're in a hurry, but it also did not take overly long to come out - it all came out hot and well presented. The gal who delivered it was different and she did not seem all that happy to be working. We did all enjoy our food although we were all surprised at lack of spiciness to the dishes. Point of note, yes, we did all say mild, but at other Thai places mild still is pretty darn spicy (for us). Nunthaporn's was lacking in that kick so when we return, we will definitely go for more spice. Maybe when we return, they will actually have dessert.

First time here and they CRUSHED IT! We got the green chicken curry and chicken pad Thai on medium heat and it was so good! The green curry had eggplant and green beans and basil and just perfection with some nice rice to go with it. The pad Thai? Don’t know how to give a good description other than it might be my favorite ever. Can’t wait to come back and our server was genuinely the nicest lady and so kind while managing a very busy room!

Mid. Their food was good.... But their serving sizes were wayyy smaller than other Thai places I've gone to. However there was a lot of mussels in my partner's meal! The person was thoughtful enough to give me a phone number to call in orders next time. They were fast and the restaurant was cleaning. I ate out instead of eating in. The restaurant looked clean.

This is the best Thai I have ever tried. Our group was so glad we had lunch here instead of the surrounding options because it is healthy and delicious. Lunch special was $13 for rice, protein choice and main. So good!

This place offers the most fresh and best tasting Thai food in Mesa. The staff can be a little cantankerous when they are super busy. Overall they are friendly enough, but they tend to be under staffed on weekends. The red curry and pineapple curry are amazingly delicious. The papaya salad is the freshest I have ever had in the United States, and I always order it. Amazing flavor and incredibly delicious, freshly cut (not pre-prepared and sitting on the shelf). The kids loved the wonton soup. They were incredibly busy on the night we came with a large party. They seemed angry that we came. The owner started getting terse with my wife, enough to leave, but we had a tight schedule and really wanted to eat there. The owner called himself down and became friendly and polite again for most of the time we were there. They were extremely understaffed, with only three servers. We didn’t get water for long while, probably because they were out of dishes and hadn’t caught up with the crowd yet. Despite these challenges, the food was incredible. My in laws all thought the process were steep, but they seemed fine to me given the high quality food. Delicious! Just avoid crowded weekends.

My favorite thing was the Thai Tea it hit the spot! At the end I wanted to know their recipe and buy another one.

Great Thai food! The curries and fried rice are incredible, and the atmosphere is nice for spending an evening with friends. I recommend the Pumpkin Curry and egg fried rice!

Great Bao / dumpling restaurant located inside Mengkong plaza in Mesa. We have been here a couple of times. Often stop when we drop by Mengkong supermarket. This is a great little restaurant serving fresh made dumplings, soups, noodle & rice dishes as well as Bao (steamed and fried). Once you eat one dumpling it’s hard not to eat 10 more. We suggest going with 4 or more people. Order a variety of dishes and eat family style. The xiao long bao (soup dumplings) are worth a try. We also like the bok Choi and Choi sum. Well. We like everything on the menu. Wish I had four stomach’s so I could eat more! It’s a great restaurant serving authentic Chinese (not American Chinese). We lived in Asia (hong Kong and singapore) for 22 years and we miss the food greatly. Happy Bao does a great job of replicating the real thing. And it’s clean, has friendly and attentive service and is in a comfortable environment.

Craving some asian food, my partner and I decided to try Happy Bao after seeing a few videos about it. We ended up getting the Touchdown combo, which consisted of Pork Sheng Jian Bao, Xiao Long bao, honey ribs, wontons, dumplings, and fried rice for $60 before tip. This ended up lasting us a few meals at home too, so for the value, it was a nice combo that allowed us to try a bit of everything we were curious about. My partner and I both agreed the honey ribs and the fried rice were the best dishes out of this combo. The ribs were soft, flavorful, and I honestly wish I had more for the price. But with it being part of the combo, it was fine. The fried rice is huge (see picture), and is actually pretty good. Not just "soy sauce" flavor you might taste at some other restaurants. It paired well with the rest of the dishes. Our next favorites were the XLB and the wontons. The XLB came out hot/fresh, and the soup/meat inside were flavorful. We paired it with both the XLB and the other dipping sauce they provide. We both felt the XLB sauce was way more vinegar-y than we liked, but the other sauce was more better balanced. The wontons (the ones with the yellow wrap) were much better flavored than the dumplings (the ones with more pinkish wrap). The dumplings were probably our least favorite. It didn't have that much flavor and lukewarm at best when we ate it. Of note, both the wontons and dumplings come with chili oil all over. As someone who likes spicy food, this definitely can be spicy for people, so be careful! It paired nice with the fried rice in this regard. Lastly we got Pork Sheng Jian Baos as part of the combo. The bottom is nicely crispy and pan fried, which was a nice change of texture. The bread itself is kind of bland (tastes like pan fried bread), but the meat inside is flavorful. I liked eating a bit of bread with the fried rice and some of the chilli oil or ribs to make a more well-rounded bite. All that to say, if we were to come back, I think the only things we'd for sure try again are the fried rice, the honey ribs, and MAYBE the XLB. I think the combo is still worth it to try if you're curious about the menu and want to make your own decision for it.

If i could rate 6 stars i would 😎😎😎. This place was so good everything tastes so fresh and delicious. First time coming here and i will keep coming. Best dumpling in AZ. It is a very small place but amazing service. Very recommended

my partner and i had been curious about this place for a while—i’d heard so much about how delicious it was. we were craving something warm and comforting, especially dumplings in soup, so we decided to give it a try. it had met more than our expectations! we ordered a flavorful noodle soup and an appetizer of perfectly spicy wontons—both dishes were incredible. the service was just as grand—our servers were kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. highly recommend!

Came here a few years ago and stopped by again this past weekend while visiting AZ — and once again, the food did not disappoint. It was my friend’s first time, and he really enjoyed it too. We shared the combination dumplings, Liang Pi noodles (warning: super spicy!), Lu Rou Fan, and taro baos. Everything was delicious. Definitely recommend!

Has really good soup dumplings! And has bao sauce on the table. The spicy wonton dumplings were pretty good. The short ribs were fire. Definitely going back! Just make sure to join the waitlist because the line was out the door

Espíritu Mesa delivers bold flavors and generous portions. The guacamole with tostadas and salsa macha was massive—perfect for sharing. The birria dumplings were interesting, but not my favorite. The real standout was the fried whole snapper—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and balanced perfectly with jicama slaw and salsa verde. We sat on the patio, which felt like a stark contrast to what Downtown Mesa was like when I was younger. It’s great to see how much the area has evolved. Espíritu Mesa is definitely a spot worth checking out.

If you haven’t been here you’re missing out! The drinks are amazing we had old fashioned with a brown sugar mix (can’t remember the name) the ceviche is so delicious and we always get the potato tacos! We also tried the pork belly, the burger and the short ribs! Everything was delicious!!

The drinks were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making them feel like little works of art. I really enjoyed having them, and the birthday shot I received was so smooth that I could hardly taste the alcohol—absolutely perfect. The food was good, and the staff went above and beyond with their friendliness and warmth. They made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I also loved the atmosphere—it had such a welcoming and lively vibe that made me want to stay longer.

Was a single at dinner and I sat by the bar . First off the cocktails I must say are very well done , some of the best I’ve had in the valley . I ordered the hamachi ceviche and the steak tartare tostada . Both were very well executed , the potato chips from the ceviche needs to be bagged and sold …… so good . The portions are rather large so great spot to split dishes . Service and atmosphere were great too. I will be back .

Brilliant and very thoughtful food. You can tell the chef took a lot of far when crafting the menu. The snapper was a visual delight! Definitely suggest getting that! The drinks were delicious as well. A hole in the wall that worth discovering. I will be coming back again.

Atmosphere is dark with a cool vibe and unique decor. Hannah paid attention to us and and how the food was presented. Drinks, on point. Cici...top of the line hostess. The hamachi and smoked breem, perfection. Will definitely be back.

I have not had the pleasure of dining or enjoying a cocktail here. We have stopped in 3 times over the year. We have had all three encounters with the hostess. She is bothered, non welcoming, disrespectful and disgusted. It’s hard for me to believe that the owners have not noticed. I stood beside a woman whom told her, she was sorry that her only experience there had to be with her first. The hostess told her she was welcome to take her business to any other establishment. This woman was almost 70 years old. I was appalled at what I had witnessed. The hostess walked away and came bk 15 minutes later to tell us we needed a reservation. If you don’t know what’s going on in your restaurant SHAME ON YOU. If you do know and you choose to allow it because it’s a friend or family member, SHAME ON YOU. Every owner should make it their first order of business to ensure the employees treat everyone with dignity and respect. The two visits prior to this were abash.

Ordered over doordash and picked up in store. the food was delicious, i got the beef pho and banh mi. I also got coffee but id skip on it next time i go. the flavor wasn’t bad but the cup they gave wasn’t even full. the serving sizes are pretty good for the quality

I’m a returning customer to this restaurant, and the food is generally really well prepared. Other than the occasional temperature problem, the food is otherwise pretty good. However, the owner’s poor behavior never seems to disappoint. The most recent time going here I pulled a hair out of my spring roll and after telling the owner he just went like “sorry” and then started laughing. He tossed it in the trash and did not offer any sorts of compensation. This is also just one of the many terrible experiences I’ve had with the owner.

Review for Pho Thuan Thanh – Mesa, AZ I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but the customer service here was honestly disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the attitude was cold and unwelcoming. No greeting, no eye contact — just a menu thrown on the table without a word. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than customers. It’s one thing to be busy, but basic respect and courtesy should never be optional. I came for a warm bowl of pho and ended up feeling pretty uncomfortable throughout the visit. The food might be okay, but the way people are treated here is enough to make me think twice before coming back.

Food good. So many choices. Parking is free. Service charge added to your check. So don’t be surprised. If you can, cover food with napkins , you’ll see what I mean. Friendly staff.

The pho is amazing all their food is amazing ive been coming here for years with my wife we knew the older lady who ran the place but recently and i hate writing a negative review but theres a older gentleman that runs it now and past few months his attitude is horrible today we came in and-he slammed the menu on our table slamming things around we where being nice asking him bout his day he didnt even care at one point he mumbled some words and i asked if he said something he got mad. Then he ended up slamming the table next to us this sint the first time. Seems like he doesnt want to be there but i hope what ever he is dealing with heals, but from now im definitely looking for another pho place i cant be coming and be given attitude after years of loyalty and amount of tips ive given dont get me wrong the food is phenomenal but the dudes attitude is horrible

Not a fancy place but the menu is 3-4 pages lots of things to choose from Friendly service. Great food #58 #40 #44 are in the pictures generous portions fresh tasting . You have to try it but again not a fancy place but plenty of Asians including us eat there you won't be disappointed authentic!

This place has a very home like vibe to it, as if I'm off to visit in laws. Been coming to this spot for well over 3 years now and it hands down has been the best pho I've had in the valley. Previously a bowl of brisket pho (3A) costed somewhere around $10. Because of inflation prices have recently gone up, so the same bowl comes out to about $12 which is not too bad all things considered. Some places charge anywhere around $15+ for a more bland tasting dish with nowhere near the same serving size as here. The complementary bean sprouts, mint leaves, limes, peppers, and sauces is a big plus as well as they too add to the overall flavor of the dish. The egg rolls and dipping sauce are also very delicious and a nice appetizer to hold you over as you await the brothy goodness. I will continue to come here with friends or by myself for many years to come.

The food was fantastic, but the service was just ok. I think we hit it on a bad night. We were pretty focused on how great the food was, but there were long times where we didn't have any drinks or water. That's kind of a big deal when we are trying a new place and are just guessing how spicy things are, you know? But great food.

I was a little suspicious that Blue Adobe had gotten so many great reviews in such a short time since opening. However, it earned it’s 5 stars and after our meal we were already making plans to come back. Vibe: clean, modern, but friendly. There’s not a lot of nick-nacks, but the interior still had personality. Our waiter was very genuine, and made great recommendations. Food Highlights: * Chips and salsa: The tri-colored chips actually had different flavors for the different colors, and the chipotle salsa was delicious. My husband isn’t a fan of chipotle, but there is just a hint, and he thought it was really good. Our salsa snob friend liked it so much he dumped the remains of our second bowl all over his rice. * Mini Chimichanga with beef: I will come back for this dish alone! The Chimichanga was packed with flavor and really stood out compared to other restaurants. * Shrimp Enchiladas: These were nicely spiced and our friend practically licked his plate clean. * Carne Adovada: Our waiter recommended this, and it was really tasty. The pork was perfectly cooked, and we would order it again. * Breakfast Burrito: This was big and tasty, but I think the beef chimi is still my favorite. * Corn Chowder: This had chicken and green chili and was seriously tasty! My husband loved the soup, and when I had a bite I was jealous I didn’t order it. * Seafood Enchiladas: Were decent but weren’t as good as the Shrimp Enchiladas in our seafood expert’s opinion. I wish we had taken photos the first time, but everything looked so great we forgot and dug right in!

The food is amazing. Best New Mexico style outside of New Mexico. There 2 locations and they both have great food. The 2nd location is in Scottsdale.

It's a nice, fancy Mexican restaurant. I had the chef's special (Adobe beef, pork tamale, and stuffed pepper). It was delicious and service was quick. They have a pretty cool tequila bar. I had the frozen strawberry margarita. Very yummy! The decor was neat and you can hang out and watch the game on their multiple TVs. Definitely recommend!

This place was recommended to my parents by our neighbors and decided to take me there while I was in town. I loved the variety on their menu I also loved the amount of seafood options they had. I ordered the Santa Fe, NM (yes that’s the name of the plate) which included a lobster tamale with raspberry chipotle sauce and mango salsa. I love it. It also came with shrimp relleno which I have never had before I also thought that was amazing. Their peppers were on point! And also on that same plate, was a crab cake taco which was definitely good. I like the cabbage mixture in the taco. The lobster cheese dip was great also! My point is, the food was great!

In town for the holiday and celebrated our final night is AZ at Blue Adobe. We were so glad we did. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our server Chris was there moments after we seated to take our drink order. He had great recommendations for drinks and for our meal and was super friendly. Husband and I both ordered the Chimicilada (mini chimi and portobello mushroom enchilada)... Amazing. I got chicken he got beef. I would order the beef next time. I'm a little regretful but the chicken was still delicious. Our frozen killer margaritas were delicious as well. Our son had the kid's tacos which he ate quickly and enjoyed. Great job!!!!

I've eaten at their other location in Mesa so I was expecting delicious food and friendly service at the Gilbert location and I was pleasantly not surprised. Great variety of New Mexican dishes and the queso with bean dip is truly flavorful. I had their "Lazy Tacos by land" entree and that's a meal! Yummy!

Not open all the time, so take advantage! Apart from excellent dinner food, they serve breakfast as well and have some fantastic breakfast burritos. They have awesome meat choices and don't overload the burritos with a bunch of filler, just flavor.

Was not sure what to expect at Tucked away kitchen. We showed up at 8pm and the joint was packed. I was pleasantly surprised when the food was top notch. Fresh tuna and the shrimp po' boy was the best sandwich outside of Louisiana. The place had a great vibe, safe to say we will be back and we will be bringing our friends.

Discovered tucked away today. Small little place with great atmosphere, great service and great food. Had a limited menu. We both had sausage burrito. It was the best burrito I have ever had. Chef came out and talked with us for a bit. The bartender was fantastic. There salsa is out of this world good and I am not even a fan of salsa. Got to try this lil place, you will not be disappointed!

What a gem! We all ordered something different and everyone's food was outstanding. I had the eggs Benedict and was some of the best I've had. Nice little outdoor patio, will be back for sure.

The burritos served on Wednesday to Friday on Excelkent. Vegetarian option. Fresh salsa . The people and service was excellent. The music preference was not my taste, for Steely Dan is a talented musical artist; but I disagree on listening to more, than a few of band's songs

Fantastic place, the service was excellent and the food is better. Great fusion Asian, New Mexico, you name it, I absolutely loved the shrimp and grits with hatch green chili. When in town I will definitely be here.

Great little place, tucked away! We sat at the bar. There is also an outside patio. We didn't eat a meal but had great drinks with a tray of fries. Yes, a tray of delicious fresh cut fries! I noticed the chef checked on customers to see how the meal was. That was cool and you can tell he cared. Also, you can interact with the kitchen because of the kitchen location/setup. Customer service was awesome. It's a was a great find.

Interesting setup for breakfast. A ton of seating but you go up to order and then they will bring you the food once its ready. They will also clean the tables afterward. Had the breakfast tacos, eggs, roasted potatoes, eggs sunny-side up, French toast sticks, and pancakes among the group. Overall everyone enjoyed their food and would love to come back again

I discovered this place about one year ago. Great food. Cool atmosphere. Great service. Long line at times, but very worth it. Nice outdoor areas to sit and eat. My favorite is their ribs. $24.00 for a full rack. Other places charge that for only a half rack. Fall off the bones perfection. My only complaint: the last time I got ribs they were not very good. I don’t know why. But hey, no place is perfect. Things happen. Their cheesecakes are fantastic. Oh, if you go there on your birthday….$15.00 of your bill. How’s that for a birthday gift? Awesome.

You really got a lot of food for the price! Huge hamburgers! Made to order cookies! Yummy milkshakes! I like this farm area it has a winery and some shops. Washrooms are in a separate building outside. Lots of outside tables with misters on. The only thing I didn't care so much for was the drinks. Here it's an organic farm, why don't they carry more natural drinks or drinks with sugar instead of HFCS their is a homemade lemonade and non sweeten tea, but that was it. Coke and Pepsi- yuk. Then they have you wait in line to place your order. Servers bring your food out, servers keep asking if you want refills, why not make it where you can order at the tables?

Joe's Farm Grill had been our our want to go list for quite a while. Last night we finally had the opportunity to go 20 minutes before they closed. We had the pleasure of being assisted by Noreena. She was super happy & excited to share her passion for the resturant & their food. It was a nice surprise to encounter someone so happy and passionate about their company, the food, and their sustainability efforts, especially at the end of a long day. She took the time to tell us her favorite foods & why. She guided us to delicious dinner options that we throughly enjoyed. We really appreciated her efforts and passion. While the food was delicious, we look forward to coming back for Noreena's captivating personality. Thank you for fun a evening!

Always a favorite breakfast spot especially for entertaining visitors. Great for large groups and when weather is beautiful. Lines go fairly quickly, but recommend going before 10a to avoid traffic. Lots of places to take family pics too. Highly recommend adding this to your breakfast places.

This place had a cool vibe. I had Joe's Big Breakfast and for the most part it was good. I wasn't crazy at all about the coffee cake. It was dry and lacked the coffee cake taste. I should've went with toast. Also you had to stand in line too order your food which was a bit different than normal. However the line moved at a good pace and once you ordered the food came out pretty quick. A+ on that. The staff was very friendly and tentative. Asked if you needed anything and refilled my beverage fairly quickly. They did forget the extra bacon I ordered but I got full off the food I did order. Good job y'all..

Glad I found this spot! The line to order the food was well worth the wait, and the food came out fast. Corn fritters get 👍🏼👍🏼 from me. Sonoran dog with a side of garlic fries was awesome. Fresh lemonade with strawberry added was also delicious. Then to top it off, a peach-mango milkshake that I will definitely order again. Lots of attentive staff deserve praise too.

Very nice experience, great tasting food and obviously cooked in front of you. Flavor of the meat devvero excellent, very tasty fried rice and obviously show during the preparation by the chef. Small venue and therefore very noisy obviously for the show (clothes will definitely need to be washed soon!).

This was a fun spot to celebrate a birthday with the family! This spot seems like it is a hot spot for birthday & similar celebrations. They have an assortment of regular menu items to order such as appetizers and sushi, or you can order teppanyaki and have it made on the grill right in front of you. Every teppanyaki plate comes with rice, some veggies, two shrimp plus your choice of meats along with a small salad and soup. I am not a huge fan of the dressing they use, so I didn't eat the salad but the soup was good despite being just a broth with two small mushrooms floating in it. My teppanyaki dish was delicious, the meat was cooked just right and I enjoy the sauce they serve with it. I do wish that the veggies had been cooked slightly more and they could use slightly bigger portions for the meats with how much each dish is. While I do understand that part of the cost of the meal is the entertainment from watching the chef cook, a bigger protein portion I think would help balance out the cost. Especially since most parties will typically type the chef as well before he leaves the table. Our table also had some of their sushi, spicy edamame and dumpling. All three dishes were enjoyable and I didn't have any issue with them. A family member of ours treated us to a dinner here for my husbands birthday & had mentioned to the staff that it was his birthday. At the end of our meal they brought over some small cakes, a big candle & a fun mask for my husband to wear while they played some loud drums and a happy birthday song. You'll frequently hear this through out your dinner as almost every table there had someone celebrating either a birthday or another event. The chef who did our teppanyaki had also made my husband a balloon headband to wear because it was his birthday & the chef liked his hair style. This spot is a little pricey per person for a meal, but to visit for a celebration or a once in a while thing I think it is worth it for the experience! Make sure to call ahead and make a reservation, depending on the time and day you visit it will be packed.

I wish I'd had pics. We ordered tepenyaki combos that were delicious. The mushroom soup was spectacularly good! The salad so yummy! My chicken was nicely done. The scallops were nicely done but had a bitter after taste. Service was great! They have a new chef and had much better flavored food including the rice. Large parking lot.

I went here for the first time with my mom and sister and we had a great time I would highly recommend for a date night.the whole experience was great and for the quality of food and service you get here for the price is really great I absolutely recommend this place

Our family had my granddaughter’s birthday party at this location. I found it to be very entertaining and an energetic place to be. There were about eight birthday celebrations during the time we were there. The birthday person has the opportunity to put this mask over their head. I find that to be kind of odd because so many germs can be passed around like that. Although I found it fun for my granddaughter who is 14 I would never go there again myself the noise is unbelievably loud. The portions are large, the food is average, pretty greasy.

Osaka is a fantastic teppanyaki restaurant with amazing food and an incredibly friendly staff. Every visit feels special thanks to the chefs’ skill and the welcoming atmosphere. You’ll definitely want to make a reservation, as the place stays busy, and the full experience — from sitting down to wrapping up your meal — usually takes about an hour. It’s absolutely worth the time for the quality and fun you get. Highly recommend!

We made reservations to dine in for teppanyaki for a birthday and were very excited for the experience and food. Unfortunately we still had to wait 30+ minutes after checking in at our reservation time. We were told twice that we were about to be seated and then another party got sat instead. Once we were finally seated, our teppanyaki chef had a very flat affect and unfortunately we did not have the same fun experience that our neighbors at the table next to us had :/ Food was very salty and buttery but we did get generous portions. Not sure if we just went on an off night but it was not the fun group experience we were looking forward to.

The moment we walked in a friendly environment, the young ladies gave amazing service. No problem with them very kind, sweet girls. The problem was with the food. 1)I ordered a fish taco, which looked delicious, but when I was about to eat it.I got a very strong fishy smell.Something cod shouldn't smell like. The only time cod should smell like that.It's when it's not stored in proper temperature or it's gone bad. I'm saying this because I used to own a fish market. When I opened up my taco, the fish was half cooked. I let the waitress know she was very apologetic and very quick to fix the problem. And I do thank them for that. 2) My husband ordered a steak burrito.This thing was drenching in oil.Like you have no idea he didn't even eat it.We brought it home. Mesa Location. This is one of my absolute favorite places to eat. I am from the Midwest and any time someone visits I take them here to show them real Mexican food. Their rice and beans are so good I actually eat it before the entree! The chimichanga is absolutely MASSIVE!!! their Verde salsa is sweet and delicious, they have a much hotter salsa you can request that is brick red full of smokey flavor and heat! 11 out of 10 stars!

Lovely restaurant. Staff are welcoming and polite, the environment is relaxing with beautiful pictures and artifacts. The food was decent. Food pictured is the salmon taco. Salmon was good but the mango was unripe.

Tried this restaurant for the first time today and we were very impressed. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, the servers are wonderfully friendly and upbeat, and the menu is full of amazing dishes we will be returning to try more of! The salsa verde is the best I've ever had. I ordered the glazed salmon salad, which turned out to be the perfect summer salad complete with strawberries and orange slices that paired well with the salmon glaze. Hubby ordered the steak fajitas and was very happy with the well seasoned meat and veggies and generous portions. Highly recommend!

Got their early as they just opened up. Both dishes were barely warm, a long, long way from hot. like I said it was barely opened, so understandable. Food was excellent, excellent leftovers. Definitely going back, they just need to nuke some of the ingredients if they are not up to temperature.

Mangos Mexican Cafe 44 W Main St, Mesa, AZ 85201 I had the pleasure of visiting Mangos Mexican Cafe for the first time, and I was truly delighted by their fish tacos! 🌮 I ordered the combo #2, which featured the fish tacos, and they were absolutely fantastic. The tacos were not only delicious but also quite generous in size. I also enjoyed the refried beans, which complemented the meal perfectly. I can’t wait to return for another visit! Those fish tacos were a real treat!

The menu is simple but the food is done so well I'd give it 10 stars iesthetic. I got 3 hard tacos, and they were surprisingly light but still filling. Salsas are delicious. Service was quick and friendly, and I loved the design aesthetic.

We happened to come in right before it started to get busy and the gentleman who rung us up was friendly and answered our questions about which meat to get for the chile relleno and the sizing. It was all sooooo good! My shredded chicken enchiladas with the green sauce was tasty and the chicken was well seasoned on it's own. The rice was flavorful and not dry like most Mexican places tend to be. Even the horchata was cinnamon-y without ever coming across a clump of cinnamon. Next time we go to Mesa, it's a must!

THE best Mexican food in Arizona. I love their chicken soft tacos AND I DON’T LIKE CHICKEN! Everything is great, and the icing on the cale is their Limonada. Incredible, you won’t regret prepaying for a refill (only $2.00). I live 20 miles away and still find a wsy to work a lunch into my schedule.

Had lunch and shared the Killer Burrito with my daughter. We didn’t even ask for an extra plate, they just gave us one. PS their carne asada is the best.

I wasn't going to write a review, mainly because the staff was so nice, polite, and professional. I would only recommend coming here because of the service. It pains me to write that Pete's did not live up to the hype. I kept hearing about the best fish and chips in Arizona. It really makes me wonder if people here have actually had great much less decent fish and chips. I ordered the #1 which is one piece of fish, and four shrimps with fries. When the order came out as you can see in one of the pictures attached the fish was well over cooked as was the shrimp. No malted vinegar, just their specialty sauce. I wasn't even offered tartar sauce. I gave it a bite and both the shrimp and fish were dry and tasted like cardboard. I could have bought some grocery store frozen fish sticks and it would have been better. I took the food back and they happily offered to remake the food. The second picture shows that the food on the remake was not overcooked, could possibly taste better. I was offered tartar sauce this time because their specialty sauce honestly was not at all something I would put on any food. It was disappointing. I tried the second plate of food and again the frozen fish they use tasted like the grocery store frozen food fish sticks. The same for the shrimp. I returned the food, and was again offered something else from the menu like a burger. My appetite was gone, and I didn't even ask for my money back. I'm hoping this was just a bad off day for them, but you can't have frozen processed fish and call it good fish and chips. In case some of you want to know what I'm calling good fish and chips I have also included an example of a fresh beer battered fish for you to compare.

Mediocre at best fish and chips. Fish was "fish stick" like. Fries and onion rings were very bland. They only serve a cocktail sauce vs tarter sauce which would be more appropriate for fish and chips.

I hate to admit that we were CATFISHED by Pete's Fish & cold 'chips' which was a huge disappointment after a long-awaited hype was built up only to be Let DOWN by unseasoned SpongeBob SquareFISH❕ It's really a shame cause location & atmosphere really looked promising until you make an honest attempt at eating the food by gaslighting yourself like maybe it's not that bad with sauces & put in some effort to try eating at least some of it so as not to waste it into the garbage. (Taught that wasting food in the trash is a sin.)

Food is incredible as usual. Atmosphere is as peaceful as a 2nd floor New York balcony. There's pigeons roaming about and there's the faint sound of cars nearby. The unusual part of my experience was when I learned today that they don't do refills. I will remember this because they were rude to my Dad who politely asked about napkins, plates, and then refills. They snapped at my Dad when it came to refills: "Just buy another one" they said.

Pete's is absolutely the best comfort food for me, having grown up here and then moved away. I love everything about it!!

The quality of the food and service is always top notch! We love coming here and trying their new seasonal items. It was their bacon fest this time and wow - so happy! The servers are so friendly and Jonathan, our main server was fantastic and explained the menu very well. Also, shout out to my pineapple guy, he always hooks me up! For birthdays, anniversaries, or just for fun, I would 100% recommend!

Amazing restaurant, dollar price for food is out of the world. Never had a bad experience or a bad cut of meat. Staff is very nice and helpful ! Love the service we always get there each time we go there. Our waitress Savanna was fantastic. The Gauchos were all very good as well. Always checking with us and making sure we get that medium rare meat.

Went here with some of the boys after a recommendation, and we were blown away! The sheer variety of meats and dishes they had were amazing! Not to mention the top notch service! Each server was friendly and made every dish sound delicious! I wish I could remember all of the servers names but Trey and Joey come to mind as some of the servers that came to our table. We tried as many dishes we could, ranging from lamb to chicken, to steak, rare steak, grilled pineapple. It felt like the dishes were endless. I was also very happy with the salad bar as it contained the best compliments to the meats. I particularly enjoyed the rice and pastas but the breads really took the cake for me. I will definitely be coming back for those! Overall, I can’t wait until my next visit and I’m already recommending it to my other friends and family!

I’ve been eating at Rodizio mo they for the past 8 years. It has always been a good experience but it really went to the next level once Trey became our regular server. He was prompt, courteous and pro active with all he did. I’m very grateful for Trey and his attention to detail that has helped take our monthly meat night to the next level!

Decent service but not superb. Got the drink caiprinha tasted like sour mix with a splash of cachasa. Every meat tried tasted very old (picanha, tritip and some other beef) and the only good thing was the salad bar so compliments to the bar salad 🥗 staff. Came in hungry, didn’t eat all day and still couldn’t eat any of these meats. Just go to Costco get a could slab of beef and bbq 😂

This place has a cozy outdoor patio drinking area. The service is amazing. We ordered Loaded Potato, Pork Belly Skewers, and a main dish. All of these are on the main menu.

The Brickyard is a downtown Chandler gem. The atmosphere is great, the staff are welcoming, and the food is incredible. Seriously, I have only experienced delicious food and great vibes at this restaurant. Thanks!

The Brickyard Downtown has an amazing craft cocktail menu and a cozy, upscale vibe. Their short rib tacos are my absolute favorite, and it’s become our go-to for date nights.

Restaurant was cute, ambiance comfortable, just a little too loud for my liking. Service was impeccable. Cocktail menu was quite expansive. Craft beer selection was average. Food was very flavorful, however my coconut shrimp was too “room” temperature. Dishes were delivered a little out of order. The pork belly skewers were supposed to be our appetizer but were brought to us after we were given our main course. Still recommend as the food was delicious, especially the pork fried rice.

The Brickyard Downtown is my go-to for a night out. Their craft cocktails are amazing, and the small plates are always unique and delicious. The cozy ambiance makes it perfect for date nights or catching up with friends.

The place was empty when we walked in even though it was a dinner time. I am guessing the original owners from the show are gone now either they have sold the place or retired. Otherwise there is no way this place has been on the TV show. I ordered loco moco, bulgogi plate, chicken katsu plate, and pork buns. The frozen beef patty was on loco moco. It was just terrible. Bulgogi and chicken katsu were not far off. The green salad looked so old. We could not even touch it. We threw everything away. What a shame. Another disappointment from triple Ds. Good job, Guy!

The Hawaiian chicken was amazing, super juicy with just the right touch of sweetness. The island wings and beef plate were flavorful and came in big portions, plus the staff was really friendly and helpful. The manapua dough was soft and fluffy, though the filling could have been less dry.

This place, what can I say other then AWESOME food!!! If your looking for some good Kalua pork this is your place (wed and sat only). The katsu chicken is on point and the mac salad, YUMMY!!!

I use to eat here weekly but moved away from the area and last week was excited to finally be in town and went there with my son. The place must be under new management because it was such a disappointment. The food was over cooked and my salad looked old as well as tasted bad and the meat was mostly grissel and tough to eat. My son said the same thing about his meal. Too bad, they use to serve amazing food.

Got teriyaki chicken and an appetizer. The meat was cold and tough. The appetizer was completely burned. Disappointed in the bland flavor of the macaroni salad. Delivery was great but I won’t be ordering from here ever again.

We tried the Canal Club for my sister’s birthday dinner, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. For a Saturday night, the restaurant was surprisingly empty, which already felt a bit odd, and the lack of music made the atmosphere uncomfortably quiet. Service was slow despite the emptiness, and the food lacked consistency in flavor across the dishes. We even had to send a drink back because it was bland. While the décor throughout the hotel and restaurant is beautiful, the overall experience left us disappointed, and I’m not sure I’d return.

I came here for brunch and was surprised at how quiet the restaurant was but I also came on a Monday. I was quickly seated and water was brought to me right away. I kept it simple with a mimosa for my drink and tried the breakfast pizza as my meal. This pizza was packed with a lot of flavor! Fresh ingredients and everything went well together. My server was Jade, who was very friendly and gave so many tips on places to explore in Scottsdale.

A charming, stylish café nestled inside The Scott Resort & Spa. I had the pulled chicken torta and a Spanish latte—both were delicious! The latte was especially perfect. Highly recommend staying here and savoring the food.

Canal Club inside The Scott is a cute little bar and restaurant with a great ambiance and ample lounge seating to enjoy cocktails and food. The veggie flatbread/pizza and queso was good for an early snack/dinner. The breakfast options are delicious! I had the fruit and granola bowl one day, and the smoked salmon toast another. Both were EXCELLENT and although expensive, the portion sizes are very large. The cold brew coffee isn’t the best, but got the job done. Cocktails are all delicious. I particularly loved the cucumber cooler (and added vodka). The wait staff was great. Particularly liked Zack’s approachable personality.

Beautiful venue with impressive selection of menu items. Brunch is absolutely delicious! The restaurant and outdoor patio dining areas seem to take you back in time as its designed to do. Staff is professional, accommodating and prompt. Well worth the stop.

We went here for dinner and ordered a couple of simple items to share. The food was good and fresh. The service was great- staff were nice & friendly. This restaurant and the lobby area were really beautiful. I would really like to go back for brunch or during the day.

I’m used to getting plenty of garlic sauce with my falafel, so paying $0.75 for a small cup here was a bit disappointing. That said, the falafel plate and feta fries were excellent—the food was delicious overall, and they serve Pepsi products.

Absolutely amazing food. Clean place, lovely staff. Great selection of food, desserts, and groceries. Wish I could have this place near me (traveling). Entrees are big portions recommend splitting them with a loved one. Baklava is outstanding.

Craving for some quick Mediterranean food with reasonable price? You will be happy here. Family Kabob plate - feeds 2 to 3 pp or 2 adults and 2 children. Included on the plate are listed below: Steak Kabob - super tender and my favorite chicken kabob - super tender surprisingly, even though it was white meat. kofta kabob - good flavor but on the dry side chicken shawarma - not bad but dry beef/lamb shawarma - not bad but dry rice - so so good hummus and salad - very good Falafels- it is alright. I had better ones in San Francisco. Will skip next time. Samosas- it’s ok. Will also skip next time. Baklava- cashew, walnuts and pistachios. I like the pistachio ones. But will skip desserts if I visit princess pita again. Namura - not sure what it was but way too sweet for me. Not recommended unless you have a sweet tooth. Highly recommended the Steak Kabob, rice, hummus and salad.

The food here is always amazing with flavorful meat, soft pita, creamy hummus, and perfectly fluffy rice. The salad balances everything out nicely and makes the meal feel complete. I also tried the Greek fries for the first time and they were just as tasty as the rest.

Good ciders! I’m not a big cider guy (actually don’t drink a whole lot of alcohol at all anymore), but what they served was tasty and the quality was good. The “Apple Pie” cider did taste just like apple pie. Service was excellent! Definitely a worthwhile location. I had some Myke’s Pizza while I was there. Outside patio might get hot in the summer with the west exposure.

Cider flights for the win! So many delicious options and the bartenders are so great about guiding your choices based on your taste preferences. A definite must-visit and a quick walk from many other downtown mesa dining and venue options. I didn't eat here because of my gluten allergy but my friend easily pulled up the menu and ordered a pizza that was quickly delivered to our table and said it was delicious.

Great staff. Great drink and food. Great atmosphere and great service! What can I say…this place is just GREAT!!! Took a friend from out of town to go have a bite and a beverage. I love love love cider corps. This place has been my family’s spot over the last year. We try to come every few months to try any new flavors. Always a pleasant experience. This place was an amazing idea and I am so happy it exists. The pizza place inside combined with the ciders is awesome.

This is my six star review. I cant speak highly enough of this place. The ciders are the best in the country and I've had a lot. The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff is excellent. Accompany all of that with different events throughout the week like lofi night or happy hour. We come here a lot for even coffee and working before they serve ciders! Along with Mykes pizza and it’s the ultimate spot for a date or friends. I come here about 3 times a month and Its just such an important place to me! So please visit it, give them your business, and help them grow.

This is an incredibly neat place to grab a drink. Veteran owned and it’s very clear based on the decor and cleverly named drinks. The staff were super friendly and helpful as it was my first time there. I was given a sampler and a glass of water without even asking! Their ciders are phenomenal and you can mix and match a 4 pack to take with you!

I attended one Monday night for bingo and not only did I have so much fun but the cider was amazing!! Excited to return!

We used Social Hall to cater our community football watch party and couldn’t have been happier! The food was absolutely delicious—classic game day bites that everyone loved. Our residents raved about the quality and variety, and everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. The service was smooth and professional, making the event stress-free on our end. We’ll definitely be using them again for future events!

Hosted my wedding reception here in the rafter room since we eloped a few months ago. Food was great, they made planning easy! The space was beautiful and there was a perfect space for a Photobooth on the outside patio. The projector was great too so we could play our elopement video.

Went for the Taste in Tempe, 3 courses 1 price, no cooking. The burger was good, the chicken sandwich didn’t have much flavor. The server was cool, young and professional! The Caesar salad was underwhelming as well. The drinks were good enough. This place used to be historic, and many will have memories of what it used to be 20 years ago. Seems like a fun place for a date! Or for younger people. I’d probably give it another try.

Such a cool vibe and atmosphere. Not only is their food bomb, but they have fun games to play and places to lounge and hang out. I got the buffalo mac, wings, and nachos. So so good. I also recommend the "Adult Caprisun". Delicious. Also go during happy hour and it isn't as busy!

We had our company summer party here and it was absolutely amazing! The venue was perfect, and the staff went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. Truly a fantastic experience from start to finish

Visit: April 2024 We are not from this area, but we wanted a place that had good food and drinks. This place did not disappoint. We sat outside, and it's a nice inviting ambiance. Our server was great! She was attentive and sweet. This is a good spot for young adults. There was a ping pong table and billiards to play. We didn't go inside, so I'm not sure how loud it gets in there. We had a great dining experience and would recommend this place if you're visiting the area.

I absolutely love this place! The vibes are great and the staff is super nice. I went for my birthday brunch and they were very accommodating. They asked where we would like to sit and they even gave us time to take our pictures. The food and drinks were so amazing, and the prices were great for the portions. They have something for everyone on the menu, and while still being small enough that everything was consent and delicious. I am definitely coming back and definitely recommend!

Had a great server and everyone was super friendly at this location. Food was perfect, portions were a little big. The Bloody Mary's were just the right level of spicy and sweet with the Million Dollar Bacon garnish.

We LOVED First Watch! Everything about it. The food, the atmosphere and the staff. We are in Mesa visiting family… well helping someone move… and we always end up struggling to find somewhere new and good to eat. A google map search led us here and we are glad it did! So many things looked good on the menu, it was difficult to choose. When the food came out, it looked beautiful! I’m not kidding. I never take pictures of food, but I did today. I made my husband wait so I could take one of his too. Lol. My MIL got to her french toast before I could take a picture of hers. My Avocado toast was plated beautifully, but more importantly, it was delicious! My husband got a blueberry pancake, just one, and that was all he needed because it was as big as the plate. Our server, Eli, was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in Mesa.

Quinoa was so wet and soppy with no taste. It isn't the nice fluffy that you expect. Super lazy. My husbands dish was so salty he couldn't even finish It. Waiter didn't even check on us and his attitude was like he couldn't care less about our table of 3. Things were overpriced too.

Do NOT go to this First Watch. I had some sort of sanitizing solution on my plate and in my eggs. I took a bite and it smelled like bleach and left a strong, horrible, bitter taste in my mouth. The waitress even smelled them and was like "oh my God I'm so sorry" and got it replaced. Then she came back and said that her manager said "we don't use bleach anywhere near our eggs". I'm not an idiot, obviously they don't pour liquid bleach around their food and cooking surfaces. It was some sort of liquid sanitizing solution that smelled like bleach. Then, what really made me write this review was that I didn't even eat my food but the waitress brings the bill, no additional mention of the issue, and tells me to pay up front. Then, the manager at the front (the one that smelled the plate and corroborated the problem) told me they don't use bleach... Duh... I realize this. There are other sanitizing chemicals. So sorry I used the word "bleach". After brief debate, she offered to not charge for the meal. It was just me and my 2 small children. All in all, the blasé way they treated a customer with a legit, toxic chemical in their food - corroborated by not only the waitress but the manager - left me thinking this location is mismanaged. I'm certainly never going back.

Lexi was our server and she did an amazing job! She deserves to be recognized for her excellent service! We will definitely come back. The food was good as well! The tomato soup was better than the Italian wedding soup, which I wouldn’t recommend. I loved the power wrap!

Jessica was our server this morning. We had never been to First Watch, and she gave us a sample of all of the juices. I never would have ordered a juice, but they were so good, I went ahead and ordered the kale tonic. She seemed very passionate about First Watch and made us want to come back next weekend! Great service and juice!

First watch has great offerings! The BLTE was delicious and it was a little crunchy and gooey at the same time. Very good. Coffee was delicious and so was the juice. I got the kale tonic and it was sweetened with apples. Very nice. The coffee was really good and the table came with a big water pitcher. The only reason not 5 stars is because I wasn’t greeted when I walked in.

This place is awesome! I stumbled upon it when I was in downtown Mesa for a concert. The ambiance is perfection and the service is next level. I cant wait to return to try another one of their cocktail creations. I had the "petal to the metal". It was delightful!

This is hands down the best cocktail bar I’ve ever been to! Dob, Eric, Kalo and Cami are amazing bartenders—they make incredible drinks and always bring great energy. Such a cool/chill place! Khaelo was our bartender, and we were so glad to have crossed paths with him! He’s the happiest and was so knowledgeable! His playlist was 11/10! He made delicious drinks, but the fruity ones were based off telling him our usual likes! I probably wouldn’t have thought to choose it myself, but so glad he made it because he nailed it, it was delicious! Hope to come back next time we’re in town!
