Seafood restaurant
Yosemite Ranch - Steak, Fish, Bar is an upscale steakhouse and seafood restaurant with a laid-back atmosphere and regular live music. The diverse menu features signature dishes such as seasoned grilled salmon, roast house specialties, and spicy buttered aged steaks cooked to perfection over a Coastal Oak fire. In addition to vegetarian options, the restaurant offers appetizers, sandwiches, salads, and burgers.
The Fansler Restaurant Group owns Yosemite Ranch. Previously, I reviewed the other two Fresno restaurants owned by Fansler, Westwoods and Pismo’s. All are very good but Yosemite Ranch is my fav for the ambience, the food, and the professional customer service. Yosemite Ranch is a very popular restaurant. We visited on a Monday night and the place was packed. I strongly recommend reservations. We started with a mango IPA and margarita on the rocks. Hot bread was served before our meal. We ordered two hot appetizers, a large order of Firecracker Shrimp (one of my favs) and the Goat Cheese & Honey served with grilled crostini. Delicious! My dining companion ordered the Apple Bleu Salad to start followed by the Chicken Medallions. The chicken comes with a garlic sauce. She found the sauce too hot and asked our server for garlic aioli instead. The aioli was perfect. Portions are large and we took a lot home. I noticed several diners leaving with to-go bags. I told the hostess that we were celebrating a birthday so our server surprised us with a complimentary slice of lemon cheesecake. Very good! We highly recommend Yosemite Ranch for a wonderful dining experience.

A nice evening dinner at Yosemite Ranch. We always love the food and the ambience and this night was no different. If your looking for an upscale dinner in NE Fresno this is one of the top spots. The location parking can get packed but there is plenty of spaces. The ambience is good but the floor plan is very open so it can get loud and hard to hear your conversations if it gets too loud. The food and drinks are always excellent! This dinner we started with the loaded bread loaf and the sushi. For the main course we enjoyed a short rib with asparagus and covered with fried onions, and a creamy chicken pasta. Of course what's a meal without and couple of delicious drinks!
Saxon C — Google review
The short rib was delicious, and the steaks were very tasty as well. Brussels sprouts and vegetables were also great. However, they really have issues with potatoes. The mashed potatoes that came with the short rib had huge chunks — about 0.5 inch by 0.5 inch — as if nobody knew you can push them through a sieve for a smooth texture. The baked potato was served cold, and the cheese on top didn’t even melt. Overall, good meat and veggies, but disappointing sides.
Sergey B — Google review
The food is always amazing no matter the dish, full of flavor. The service is always outstanding, friendly, quick to refill drinks and clear out dishes. You can see the team work within the stsff. And appears they enjoy working here. The atmosphere always has a chill vibe, not to dreary and not too loud. Our second visit and it is still great!
Brittany W — Google review
Yosemite Ranch is a nice restaurant. The interior is simple with a touch of elegance and class but still comfortable and not snobby feeling. We were promptly helped by the hostesses who were warm and friendly. Our server was friendly and efficient but service did feel a bit rushed as she would start walking away before we even finished answering her questions and the bill was dropped at the same time as the dessert among other things. Food was just ok and it took quite a long time to come to the table despite it not being that busy. The steak was disappointing as I had ordered it medium rare and it was served well done and dry. Overall just an ok restaurant but in all honesty it won’t be a regular spot for us. This place is wonderful!!! The food is top quality and has a wonderfully delicious taste. Top choice of steakhouse in the valley. I would highly recommend eating here. The service is phenomenal, and I couldn't ask for better. The restaurant is a busy place, so make sure to make reservations to enjoy a wonderful meal here. Can't wait to come back. Thanks for a wonderful night and great food.

Went for apps and drinks. Sat at the bar-at opening time. Food is always consistent and good. My drink was small and weak which was disappointing. Last time it was delicious. That is on the bartender! They should bring back Happy Hour!
Debbie D — Google review
Had dinner at the bar on a Friday night. Bartender greeted me and others warmly and promptly. My drink and food order was taken quickly. I had the special of a side rib pasta with mushrooms and it was amazing! Perfect blend of beef and pasta, really one of the best dishes I've had in the area. And when one server got my drink order wrong another one quickly and graciously corrected it. Well done staff and managers! I'll be back to try more of the amazing looking menu!

Pismo's Coastal Grill is a casual eatery in Fresno that offers an extensive American seafood menu. The restaurant has a lodge-like atmosphere with unique roll-up windows, rock columns, and Adirondack-style booths, creating the impression of open-air dining. A handcrafted wooden boat at the entrance adds to the coastal theme.
We stumbled upon this place during a road trip pit stop. We were blown away! Great atmosphere and delicious food. I had their clam chowder sampler, mostly because I hadn't ever heard of Rhode Island clam chowder, and it ended up being my favorite of the three. The Manhattan had a nice spice to it, but if you don't like things spicy, I would avoid it. The snapper bites were a table favorite and quickly disappeared. I had the calamari steak and scallops and both were good, but I ended up wishing I just had the scallops because they were so good. The brussel sprouts are also a must, especially if you like them a little sweet. I saw their Santa Maria app come out and was immediately envious. I'll definitely give that a go next time I'm driving through Fresno.

Very fun and relaxing atmosphere. My family and I went to dine here Saturday evening. Be sure to get on the waitlist, we expected to wait and we did for an hour for a table. Good thing it’s a prime location for killing time and shopping, there’s ton to do there. Anyway, we have the pistachio crusted calamari, very good but very small and pricey for the amount you get. We ordered the watermelon cooler drink and that was refreshing enough, a bit too much ice but not a deal breaker. Lastly, we ordered a cheeseburger and chicken fingers for the kids, lots of food! Plus we got them the garlic fries. Very tasty. My hubby and I ordered the Hawaiian Poke Bowl which was a new item on the menu, it’s was terrific! The waitress was super friendly to me and the family. Nice place to take the family for a fun environment and yummy food.
Christy S — Google review
This place is honestly one of the best seafood spots in Fresno. I had the fried calamari, pistachio-crusted calamari, ponzu salmon, and a scallop & crab cake—they were all super tasty and the seafood was top notch. The service was great and the vibe is perfect for a nice dinner. Definitely recommend it if you love seafood!
Feliz — Google review
We found this place randomly while driving through town and it was the best decision we made. The staff were friendly, attentive, and well trained. The clam chowder sampler was a great option for first time diners. I highly reccommend getting the cilantro rice. Definitely coming back!

When arriving at Pismo's Coastal Grill, the first thing you notice is the irresistable delicious aromas coming out of the open windows, accompanied by the sound of people having fun. It's our first time at Pismo's. I'm glad we made a reservation earlier in the day because, even at 5:30 PM on a Saturday, the place is pretty much fully occupied. There was a brief wait until the table was ready, and in the mean tiem people kept pouring in. Now, you'd think that with all that folk, the service would be challenging. But it all went pretty smooth! Kenzee, our fabulous, fun loving waiter immediately showed up and it flowed well from that point until we left. She even found time to engage with the 2 year old in our company, in a way that kept him engaged and entertained! For drinks we have among others the OAKtoberfest, and a white Sauvignon which was recommended by the staff based on our wine drinker preferences (bang on!). Among our starters were the white clam chowder and the fried calamari steak. Our mains included Chilean bass, sirloin steak, double clams fetucini and salmon. All cooked to perfection and at a very reasonable price. We had chocolate brownies and coconut rum cake for deserts. When Kenzee asked our 2 yr old what he thought of the brownie he replied good 'and the ice cream was also good' :) She tuned into his wave length immediately and brought him another scoop. This toodler never ever sailed through a family dinner so smoothly as with Kenzee's service. Great job Kenzee! We will definately come again soon!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this was truly exceptional service. We came in with a larger party that included two toddlers and a newborn in a stroller and Steven the manager was an absolute breath of fresh air. He and his team went out of their way to make it happen and found us a table incredibly fast, especially considering our group size and needs. On our way out we made sure to thank him and my sister actually remembered him from the amazing service he provided at Westwood! The staff is always nice and the food is always amazing. I love how involved, welcoming, and hands-on Steven is. He’s the kind of true leader the service industry is missing these days. Exceptional experience all around. Keep up the good work guys!
Wallace M — Google review
Disappointed from the take out young girl. She appeared to have no urgency, no emotion to her customer service. Seemed chaotic in the restaurant. Ordered the snapper sandwich with fries. The fries were cold, the sandwich seemed to have been thrown together. Didn't see many of the described items on the sandwich unfortunately. The snapper was good however

Bar & grill
Restaurant
Dog House Grill is a popular sports bar and restaurant located in Fresno, known for its lively atmosphere and mouthwatering menu. The establishment offers a full-service bar and serves up a variety of delectable dishes including BBQ, sandwiches, burgers, and refreshing salads. One of their most raved-about items is the legendary Tri-Tip sandwich served with house BBQ sauce, which is a must-try for visitors.
I love the strong sports spirit when I walk in the restaurant. Open bar area and kitchen is open too. The staff are great and super friendly. Food was great and fast service. Price was reasonable, portions were big. I like the spicy wings and the staff recommended the burger and salad which was good too. Overall I’d come regularly if I live here.
Madge ( — Google review
This was our very first time visiting Dog House Grill, and overall, we enjoyed the experience. The Tri-Tip Steak Sandwich was absolutely delicious — tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. Unfortunately, the Pork Ribs were far too salty for our taste and hard to enjoy because of it. We were hoping for a better balance of seasoning there. Still, we appreciated the lively atmosphere and friendly service, and we’d definitely come back to try more menu items next time
Marlena M — Google review
Well, I kept seeing reviews about Dog House Grill. Especially the tri tip steak sandwich. I love steak sandwiches so had to try it. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Cool atmosphere. Got my sandwich and onion rings. Sorry, not sure if it’s the meat or bread had a weird taste to it. If you add more bbq sauce it covers it up, but what’s the point of a steak sandwich if you’re going to drown it. They are generous on portion size but it’s also not cheap. Sorry but I was very disappointed. I simply cannot recommend the food. I had to go find better food elsewhere.
Nate M — Google review
We ordered a burger, a taco and a steak salad. Everyone one really liked their food. I had never had a taco at Dog House Grill and it was very good and tasty. Would order again. The seasoned fries are fantastic! We definitely come again, just not sure what to order. Everything was great!! And the prices were very reasonable, especially compared to other places.
Tom J — Google review
I had an amazing experience here! The tri tip sandwich was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the ribs were fall-off-the-bone perfection. Every bite had that perfect smoky taste you can only get from real barbecue pros. The customer service was phenomenal—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. They made sure our table had everything we needed and checked in just the right amount. If you’re looking for incredible food and top-notch service, this place absolutely delivers. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Archie A — Google review
Great BBQ and prices are just as good as anywhere else but the barbecue is awesome ribs pork chicken. They also have shrimp which is very delicious.

I took my grandkids to BJ it was a joke. The following day I took them to dog house and told them this is the best restaurant to come to eat. The employees value their customers and are always busy making sure the customers are happy. He is 16 when I asked what he thought about dog house he said the best restaurant ever! We agree 👍
Lori S — Google review
I just want to thank management! We came in with a large party (25 students)....And even though things were a bit chaotic (our fault, not Dog House Grill's)....The management took care of us. They tried to make us happy - whatever we needed. I'm bringing back students on Nov. 24th....Just because management treated us so well. (Yes, the food was good, prices reasonable etc.) Thank you Dog House Grill!

Westwoods BBQ & Spice Co is a popular spot for enjoying locally sourced BBQ dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant offers a variety of options, including their famous tri-tip plate and the feast platter, which features an assortment of delicious items. In addition to their flavorful BBQ fare, they also serve draft microbrews and wine.
Our experience here was very satisfying and grateful. The food was delicious, as was the service. They said it would take 25 to 30 minutes to wait because it was Sunday, but in reality it was like 20 minutes. The food arrived quickly when we ordered. The atmosphere was excellent, everything was organized. 🥩🥬🥂🍸🍽 Thanks ❤️ 😊

The food is delicious but ours came out cold, the only exception were the burgers. The atmosphere is great with an awesome bar.

Visiting from Texas and I’m a former BBQ restaurant owner. Had the Brisket nachos and 1/2 rack of pork spare ribs. The nachos were okay, but would have liked to have seen a little more brisket on them, and they should leave the bbq sauce off, or at least ask. The ribs were almost inedible. Grossly undercooked and tough. Covered in sauce and no rub to speak of. The sauce wasn’t my cup of tea, so I wish they would leave it off. Service was good and it’s a neat looking place, but barbecue… not.
Tbogan5150 — Google review
We had an amazing experience at Westwoods BBQ! The food was absolutely perfect — full of flavor, fresh, and cooked to perfection. And the frozen margaritas were the cherry on top — the perfect way to end the meal on a high note. We arrived late, but the staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. They didn’t rush us at all and made sure we had the full experience, even close to closing time. You can tell they really care about their guests. Highly recommend this place — great food, great drinks, and genuinely kind service!

Took my Dad for his Bday! Happy 88th Papa! Overall it was ok! Tab $225 total. With a full rack babys semi dryed and overcooked. My dip sandwich was good but Aus Jus had enough salt to drop a rhino. Loved the atmosphere but needed to be wowed basically!

Tonight, we had the pleasure of trying something out of our usual routine for dinner and try out Westwoods BBQ & Spice Co. For a Wednesday evening, it wasn’t too busy and dining in wasn’t long at all for table. I placed an online reservation about 30 minutes in advanced! We had amazing service from our waitress Lindsey was very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu items for us! She suggested a lot of great stuff that we ended up trying the tri tip, which was our favorite part of what we ordered! After some time with the menu, we both got the Dinner BBQ Plates both as Sliced Tri Tip with Fried Chicken Strips and an appetizer of Beer Battered Onion Rings! We both ended up getting different sides to get a well-rounded taste of all Westwoods had to offer and everything tastes amazing! You can really tell by the taste of the food that the cooks have a lot of passion for what they make and the quality the dishes the customers enjoy. Overall, this has to be one of my favorite dine in experiences at a restaurant so far! I definitely recommend giving them a try and we’ll definitely be back soon to try more of their fantastic food. Great big shout out for the cooks that prepare their delicious food we enjoyed tonight, Lindsey, our amazing waitress who took great care of us and provided great service, and the rest of the Westwoods staff for all they do for their guests!

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is an upscale chain known for its aged prime beef and classic dishes like lobster tails. Located in Fresno, it offers a diverse menu with starters, soups, salads, and a seasonal chef's table. The steakhouse caters to carnivores with succulent steaks such as Certified Angus Beef Ribeye and Prime New York Strip. Additionally, it has a wine bar offering a selection of wines and handcrafted cocktails.
This was our second time at this Fleming's in Fresno. First of all, our server, Judy, was exceptional - she was patient, helpful, humorous, and attentive. The deconstructed porterhouse steak was perfectly cooked and the premium cocktails were very well done. The restaurant decorated our table helping us celebrate our wedding anniversary. Start to finish, another wonderful experience at Fleming's!

Tomahawk Tuesday is the best! I went on a Friday and without an appointment. Didn't wait long...good workers, very good food, and atmosphere is great 👍🏼 👌 Now, stay away from the scalloped potatoes, YUKE!! Just terrible... menu has changed and they removed some key delicious dishes, bad idea!! Portions are almost half the size they were 4 years ago, but prices have gone up. That's interesting 🤔. Food delivery time was slow... perhaps short staff.

I had such a wonderful time today at Fleming’s! There was an ambiance and wonderful atmosphere. We were very lucky to have Michael Sciacca as our server. Michael went above and beyond with his service, he made sure our food was correct, and our drinks were delicious. The manager Ye also was very attentive with us and made us feel very welcome. I will most likely come back for the service I received and the food was one of a kind. Thank you Fleming’s!!

Italian restaurant
The Annex Kitchen in Fresno offers a contemporary take on rustic Italian cuisine, sourcing locally grown produce from Central California to create a menu of housemade pasta dishes, wood-fired pizzas, and grilled meats and vegetables. The open-timbered space is filled with the aroma of freshly baked pizza from the wood-burning oven and the enticing scents of grilled fare. Inspired by the seasonal offerings of local farmers, their dishes reflect a deep connection to the region's agricultural bounty.
We love coming to the Annex kitchen for appetizers and pizza. The meatballs are amazing and the kale salad is incredible....and I never thought I would ever say that! Everything we have ever ordered here is enjoyable to the palate. Highly recommend!

Okay guys now, I’m not going to lie…. I’m a picky eater. But this is one restaurant that I will happily visit to dine out! I desire an uplifting yet serene and genuine atmosphere, and this restaurant offers just that! Great people, great food, great drinks and gorgeous establishment, all in all would recommend! Kendall will welcome you graciously, she is so very kind! Micheal is a fantastic waiter, as is Shelby (waitress) and Noah (the manager) will always be sure you are having the desired experience 😌 last but certainly not least.. Trevor will do you up a delicious pizza, just how you want it! (If you wish to take one to go, he will par-bake it for you and leave instructions on the box!)☺️ My recommendation: Margarita Pizza, salad of your choice (they are all superb can’t go wrong!) with a glass of Prosecco 👌🏼

The food was amazing. I chose a pasta dish and the noodles were so tender, definitely fresh. The sauce was incredible. We also tried the short ribs and a fig appetizer which did not disappoint. Don't skip dessert, a perfect ending to the meal! You will need to make a reservation way in advance as they are extremely popular and it requires a miracle to get in last minute.

So so so good. Everything we had was phenomenal, they do have some things that rotate on the menu so if there’s something you want to try, I recommend going for it. Had no reservations, walked in around 5pm on a Saturday, were very lucky to get seated at the bar (3 of us). Service was outstanding, one of the dishes was delayed and they gave us complimentary meatballs. I had the lamb Ragu - amazing. Others had the seafood pasta that was also very good, and the bucatini.
Maria — Google review
We have heard such great buzz about them and they DEFINITELY did not disappoint. The hype is justified!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We were a party of four, we all ordered something different, we tried two different cocktails, 1 recommended white wine and 3 different desserts, EVERYTHING was on point, amazing and super delicious!!! Our server was EXCELLENT, very attentive, he checked on us as cocktails/wine came out, our entrée and then desserts. He always made sure everything was good and had good recommendations. The vide was awesome, good music, perfect volume and the pace of our experience was just right. I can't wait to go back and more of their delicious options!!! 😋

It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Fresno. The appetizers are top tier. My favorites are the arancini, burrito and stone fruit, meatballs , and the bone marrow. The bone marrow is not on the menu all the time. My all time favorite dish in the Fresno State Corn agnolotti. It’s literally perfect and seasonal. Restaurant is rustic and beautiful but can be a little loud when it’s full which is all the time. I would like to see the regular drink menu include a few more cocktails. The firecracker cocktail is my go to there and it never disappoints but it does get spicy!
Anechia M — Google review
Great service and food. The arancini was good but the meat sauce was better. I had the Diavola Pizza, it was a perfect balance of flavors and heat. My wife had the Fresno State corn pasta. She enjoyed the creamy, sweet taste. However, I enjoyed the service which was exceptional.

Hands down probably the best Italian restaurant in Fresno. The food is always on point, tasty and never left me disappointed. Service is also good, the only thing i dont really like is the noise. People are extremely loud and make the environment less enjoyable. A little advice, lights are too dim, a bit more brighter will help to read the menu because not all the tables are well illuminated.

The Phoenician Garden Mediterranean Bar and Grill is a vibrant Mediterranean eatery that showcases traditional decor and serves a wide range of delectable dishes. This family-run restaurant offers Lebanese and Greek cuisine with unique twists. Known for their spicy chicken, they also serve appetizers, salads, pasta, seafood, burgers, wraps, and specialty plates like cabbage rolls and Greek mousaka. It is a popular choice among travelers looking to enjoy delicious food in a welcoming atmosphere.
Another authentic Lebanese restaurant that hit the spot! Lots of options - we got the spicy chicken wrap - if you love spicy, you will love this, kofta - perfectly seasoned and grill, kebab- juicy and flavorful. Drinks were flowing, the service was perfect. They were kind, friendly and professional. The slice of watermelon on each dish was the perfect touch!!! Loved the decor and plenty of parking!

We arrived on a Thursday just after the lunch hour. Phoenician Gardens was close to empty. We were quickly greeted and seated, and our drinks order was taken. We had to wait for a real waiter to place our appetizer hummus order. The hummus arrived pretty quickly, in a toasted pastry 'bowl', and it was very tasty. Smooth with just a little texture, but none of the pastyness. The pita bread was soft. well baked, and easy to scoop hummus with. The pita was rubbery, but not doughy, and the pita-hummus combo was delicious. My wife ordered the lamb kebabs, and I ordered the lamb shank. The lamb shank came to the table first, surprising, as the shank takes much longer to cook. My wife's lamb kebabs arrived a bit later. She cut into the largest kebab and there was not even a hint of pink. She cut open several other kebabs - all overcooked. She had the waiter verify the not rareness of the kebabs and then take away the plate to have it redone. A while later the waiter reappeared with the redone kebab plate. My wife again sliced into a few kebabs, GREY! No pink at all. Take it away¡! Screw up a rare kebab order, not once but twice? And those tiny chunks of lamb brown so quickly, don't turn away! The restaurant was almost empty, and no one came in after us, so it's unlikely that cookster-boy was juggling a bunch of dishes on the fire. No, more likely cookie-girl don't know no rare. The shank meat was already partially detached from the bone, and a gentle prod with a fork detached the rest. I tasted a bit of the lamb meat, it was exquisitely tender, but not that flavourful, so I dipped the meat in the sauce. The sauce both warmed up the lamb meat and imparted oodles of flavour. YUM! I next put lamb and pilaf on the fork and dipped them both in the sauce. YUM!! YUM!! The lamb shank is absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. I would rank it up there with the Seco de cordero that was once available in Fresno. As my wife had had no lunch, she wanted no dessert, so we just paid up and left. The waiter was not responsible for the overcooking of the kebabs, but he did have to deal with the returning of the kebab plates, so I tipped him at 20%, of a bill that would have included the kebabs. Service - 4, could have been more attentive Food - 2, excellent shank, twice failed kebabs Atmosphere -2, fast food like lack of ambiance Recommendation - 50/50. The lamb shank was outstanding, but the kebabs were failures twice. And lamb kebabs are the cornerstone of any Mediterranean restaurant. This should be their best and easiest dish to prepare and serve. I cut them some slack because of the different cooking times on the shank and the kebabs, but no such excuse for the second overcooked kebabs. Go to Phoenician Gardens for the hummus and the lamb shank. Keep your wife happy, don't take her to Phoenician Gardens, there are lots of other Mediterranean, Middleastern and even Armenian restaurants to choose from.

Portion of food was perfect! Delicious flavor and workers are nice. I like the lunch menu and choices are great. Ask for a smaller plate and they'll make one if you're not that hungry. Vegetarian dishes on the menu.

EASILY the best restaurant that I am currently aware of. The quality of food and service you receive at Phoenician Garden is incredible. Their prices are more than reasonable, big portions, excellent presentation. Service is always top notch and I always leave here happy.

Ordered the spicy chicken with extra chicken on DoorDash, and it was delicious. It comes with one garlic sauce, but if you are ordering extra chicken then I recommend purchasing another garlic sauce for the side. We also ordered the bag of pita (there is a lot of pita in there), and it was good to go with our meal. Our dessert was the piece of chocolate cake, and that was really yummy!

OMG.... This is by far my favorite Mediterranean place. I have been coming here for the last 3 yrs. I live 2 hrs away but I commute alot and come to Fresno often. I always leave Fresno with a plate. They have the BEST garlic sauce for dipping your chicken skewers. The veggies are always perfectly crunchy. I hate soggy veggies. Rice delicious 😋

If you're in Fresno and craving Mediterranean cuisine, look no further than the Mediterranean Grill & Cafe. This restaurant offers a blend of Lebanese and Greek dishes made with fresh ingredients and is renowned for its top-notch service. The menu features a variety of flavorful options including the popular Lebanese Chicken and Rice as well as the Vegetarian Plate which includes hummus, falafel, stuffed grape leaves, tabouli, pasta, baba ghanouj, and a green salad.
🌟🌟🌟🌟 I I tried the falafel lunch special, and I must say, the falafel was pretty good! The flavors were well-balanced, and the texture was just right. However, I was a bit surprised to find out that you have to pay an extra two dollars to make a spicy taco. In Fresno slang, I doth protest! Overall, it's a solid spot for a quick and tasty Mediterranean meal. ---

I agree with other reviews. Mediterranean Grill & Cafe is a popular restaurant serving tasty Mediterranean fare. It gets crowded at lunch. Arrive early or order online. I ordered to go, not online, but my wait was not long. I ordered the beef kebab. I spilt it with my dad and there was food left over. My dad was at Community Regional hospital, a short walk to the restaurant, another selling point. Next time, I want to try the Lula lavash (my Aunt’s recommendation). Highly recommend.

I stopped by Mediterranean Grill and Cafe while traveling from the airport to the train station. With a couple of hours to spare before my departure, I decided to grab a bite and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by the staff. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and you can immediately tell that customer service is something they truly care about. Now, let’s talk about the food absolutely delicious. I had the Fattoush Chicken Salad and every bite was packed with flavor. Fresh ingredients, well balanced seasoning, and authentic Mediterranean taste made this meal one to remember. What really stood out, though, was the kindness of the staff. My phone battery was running low, and when I asked if there was a place to charge it, Dylan a gentleman at the front kindly offered to plug it in near the register for me. It might seem like a small gesture, but in a travel situation, it meant a lot. All in all, this place offers not only amazing food but genuine hospitality. I’m grateful I stumbled upon it, and I highly recommend it if you’re in the area.

Mediterranean Grill & Cafe is a gem for anyone who loves fresh, flavorful Mediterranean food. The hummus and pita were amazing, and the grilled meats were juicy and seasoned perfectly. This place is so tasty and fast. I wasn’t expecting to be in and out so quick. We got seated right and had our food about less than ten minutes later. I had the falafel appetizer with a gyro. And my friend had the vegetarian plate. The hummus was so yummy. 10/10 definitely would recommend.

Wonderful restaurant! This is becoming one of our favorite places. They are very consistent, we did Valentine’s Day at max bistro this year and they did not disappoint! I got lobster tail with the filet mignon, both were cooked to perfection a very good mashed potatoes and asparagus to go with it. My Wife did the fillet with a different au gratin style potato dish and asparagus was absolutely delicious . Bartender knows what they’re doing , Lemon drops are a dangerous must have, the old-fashions are delicious as well. We got a handmade seasonal pie for dessert, very good, comes out warm with a nice ice cream. A good end of the meal. Overall atmosphere was very relaxing Our server was very attentive and friendly, she explained the menu when asked and was available every time we needed her. If I were to give 1 negative it would be for their seating it’s a little congested, but that’s a very minimal complaint Max bistro did not disappoint. We will be back for continued support. Keep up the hard work.

The fillet was like butter in my mouth and it was so well seasoned. Vegetables were perfectly cooked. Tender but still had bite. Great drinks. And my chicken marsala was so yummy. You will never be disappointed with the truffle fries, they're absolutely addicting. Staff was friendly and helpful.

What a great place! We are a family of 5. We ordered Brussels sprouts, shrimp, and a charcuterie board for appetizers, and each of us chose different main dishes. The portions are quite large, so consider sharing. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the service was amazing. Thank you, Mai, for your fantastic service and memory in remembering all our orders! For dessert, we had crème brûlée and bread pudding, both of which were delicious as well.

How can I give this place 10 stars? Food and service was outstanding. Must have the cinnamon roll pancake. Better than the center of a Cinnabon.

It was quite busy even for a Wednesday morning. We did not have to wait for a seat, there were a few available. Customer service was 50/50. Our server was kind and patient. As well as another girl. Two others were not rude, but not engaging much, or just had the air about them that they didn't want to be there. The French toast was bland, not much flavor. I've had better. The pancakes though, they were big, fluffy and delicious. Coffee was great. My daughter liked her eggs and bacon, she ate it all up. She couldn't finish her pancake, she got full. But she enjoyed it! This place is great for breakfast. Pricey.

I was pretty disappointed with this place. I was excited to have some vegan pancakes, as I have had some great ones in the past. So much that I got 3! I take it on me that I should have gotten 1 instead of 3 to try them out. The actual pancakes were pretty large which can be good if the recipe tasted good. However these unfortunately were dry, flavourless cardboard. I managed to eat one drenching in syrup and jams, took the rest as a take away, feeling disappointed wasting $20+ on pancakes alone. However they turned even more dry and brittle in the take away container and were uneatable. Pancakes rate - 1/10. I also got a hash brown, which was completely drenched in oil. Had to pour pooled oil from the sides. The size was alright. Hash brown rate - 5/10. I was also bummed out that they no longer do barrister coffees, just the standard jug of filtered stuff. Bummer, as the coffee was one of the reasons I picked them. The waitress was nice and attentive, the parking was good and available. The venue was clean, and had a diner vibe. I like that they are trying to serve vegan diets and be plant based and GF friendly, just need to adjust the recipes to improve the way this food tastes.

Definitely a popular place, so I do recommend getting here early. Once seated, you have options galore for lunch and breakfast. I had The Intimidator and that was delicious with some maple syrup. Their pancakes are super fluffy and I do recommend you try them.

They were very helpful with the big party we had. All the food came out at the same time. I didn’t take a picture of my food but it was beyond delicious. Best protein pancakes I ever had, didn’t even need syrup. Will go back for those alone.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional service, phenomenal food — a Fresno gem! Our party of six had a truly wonderful experience at Batter Up Pancakes. Four of us were visiting for the first time, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Manager Taylor delivered exceptional service with genuine attention to detail, setting the tone for an outstanding meal. The Vegan Veggie Scramble was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, and the Gluten-Free Pancake was phenomenal — light, fluffy, and perfectly cooked. An excellent dining experience all around — warm atmosphere, attentive service, and memorable food. Highly recommended!

Mexican restaurant
Sal's Mexican Restaurant in Fresno has been a beloved family-owned establishment since 1942, serving up authentic and creative Mexican cuisine. With over 80 years of experience, they offer traditional family recipes made with the freshest ingredients and excellent service in a welcoming atmosphere. From appetizers to signature dishes like the Fancy Burrito and tasty tostadas, there's something for everyone.
A local favorite of ours is Sal’s Mexican Restaurant! Although we’re used to going to the one in Madera, the one in Fresno is now more convenient with my recent move. One thing I can say between the two locations, is that the flavor is delicious and consistent with the quality of food at every visit! Although, depending on the time and day, there has been occasions where we’ve waited for a table for 2, in my opinion it was worth it to get to enjoy the fine dishes offered here. Compared to other restaurants where you also have to wait for a table regardless, at least we get the best quality food and service here, so the wait isn’t bad. As for the service, all the staff that we’ve had the pleasure of being assisted by, have been very friendly and made sure that every visit was a great one. Making sure we also have enough chips and salsa, and always topping off our drinks! As for the food, it’s always seasoned very well and full of delicious flavor that I find other places don’t compare to. It’s simple dishes, but not to be underestimated. I’d like to thank the staff and chefs for always taking care of us and we highly recommend Sal’s for any occasion with friends, family, and significant others. The dish I recommend the most is the combination plate! It’s the best value for what you get, where you can mix and match what your items are to get a variety of flavors out of every visit. Although, me personally, I usually just get 2-3 enchiladas while my partner sticks to 2-3 tacos! Overall, Sal’s Mexican Restaurant in Fresno is a great location to visit for great food and great service, even if there are certain days and times where the busyness of the place creates a bit of a wait. In my opinion, it just shows how many people are willing to wait for just a taste of their delicious food! Will definitely be back soon! Special shout out to our server, Percilla (I hope I spelled it right), for taking care of us tonight. She offered us fantastic service, was very kind, and took really good care of us dining in!

I have always loved this Sal's food, BUT recently we had a HORRIBLE experience during the month of September 2025. A combo plate with beans and rice had a long black hair in the rice. They wanted to replace the whole plate, but I told them just the beans & rice. The waitress brought a plate of beans & rice and I hadn't eaten anything yet and noticed a hair on that plate as well! Two strikes and they are out!! I have never had that happen anywhere before. I had to ask for a break on the bill and she said she can take the drinks off...unacceptable to me!! Final bill had one plate taken off and the drinks put back on. Needless to say, I could not eat my meal because I lost my appetite! I suggest to all reading this to NOT go to this Sal's anymore...unless you like hairs in your food!! From: Loyal Customer Lost

Their salsa is unmatched around town! Prices remain competitively low. Service is good but be prepared for a little wait when busy of course. I have been coming here since 2018 and continue to do so. If you want a solid place with good food, decent prices and good service then here is the place

Sal’s does Mexican food right. The Fancy Burrito with chile verde & black beans is my go to and the best burrito ever, smothered with Jack Cheese. See how the salsa is gone in my pic? That’s because it’s amazing, and their chips are made fresh. I could just eat chips & salsa here. Also try their Original Combo or the prawn taco & enchilada dinner…both excellent!

I like coming here for Japanese food besides sushi and teppanaki. Although they have both of those things, they also have other dishes like yakisakami, a dish of seafood or meat covered in slightly spicy mayonnaise type sauce over potato salad, and shogi aki, meat and veggies in a ginger sauce on a skillet. There was a little too much ginger in this dish for my taste . The people are all nice but the service is a little bit slow. That seems to happen a lot. Starving Artists Bistro is a charming cafe in Fresno that offers a range of American fare, including sandwiches, salads, and baked goods made from scratch. The eatery provides a dog-friendly outdoor patio and even has a special menu for furry friends. It's known for its live-music vibe and hosts open-mic nights on certain days. While the food is delicious and the staff is friendly and attentive, some find the noise level inside to be too loud.
Ashley and Maddie are top-notch servers. They are personal, professional, and delightful. We thoroughly enjoy the ambience and the variety of talented artist that we have in our community. I’ve ordered a variety of mocktails that are always amazing, delicious, and attractive! I highly recommend the small salad. With its caramelized walnuts and variety of greens, it hits the spot every time! The servings are always more than enough for the two of us to share. Don’t forget to order dessert. The chocolate chip cookie and ice cream is my first choice, followed by the berry pie.

Atmosphere was the best part of the restaurant, live music outside and nice customer service. Really Enjoyed being there. The food, well got the brown sugar salmon with mashed potatoes “the name on the menu was different ” and clam chowder. I liked the flavor of the salmon itself but did not really like the brown sugar on it. The clam chowder didnt taste fishy lol the mashed potatoes were so good I could have had double. I would probably try the restaurant again just maybe a salad next time or a pastry just to enjoy the live music. -update- found out the restaurant shut down, im glad i got to try it before that happened.

Food was delicious, best burger ive had. Staff is friendly, attentive, and quick service. Mixed dinks were a bit strong but delicious nonetheless. I recommend their barbeque and their chipotle mayo dip. Would have been five stars, if the sound wasnt at a very loud volume. We did ask for them to turn it down. they didnt turn it down. Be prepared for how loud, as loud as a concert. Only about three booths and six tables. One bar but multiple options for drinks. You can buy the art off the wall. Live music played every night.

Had a great time. This is a gem that has been in the area for a long while. Most every night has live music too. And day time has open mic everyday. We found the environment inviting and also enjoyed dancing (no dance floor) in between bites of yummy food! If you haven't, you have to check this out. Definitely a new hang out for me and my love.

The fact that there was live music is what allowed me to give this place 2 stars otherwise it would be 1. My pasta had clearly been sitting so long it started to clump up. The steak was dry, even though we ordered it medium. The meatloaf was good but nothing to write home about. The service... now that is what really killed this place. The hostess was smug and unfriendly. Our waitress was slow at everything. It took forever to get anything from her. Super disappointed

If you live in this city, traveling through the city, or moving just visit this place. Fantastic, food, try the short rib and prim rib you will not regret. Chelsea made the most fantastic Cucumber mule drinks, which was so delicious. Music 5 Food 5 star Ambiance 5 Service 5 star
Farah K — Google review
This is a fine place for a great meal and live music all day. I liked what my friend and I ordered. The live music the night we visited was a two man duo singing classic rock songs from the 70's. They were very good! There is a great vibe here and I will say the restaurant needs to upgrade its presentation of the food served to keep people coming here. The garlic toast we ordered was soggy and limp (too much butter) so it stayed on the plate and the cost of this sad appetizer was removed from the tip amount. There is plenty of free parking with seating at the indoor bar or tables/booths or the patio outside.

Great environment, drinks, beer and most importantly Food!!!! Very kind and friendly employees. We sat down and within minutes our drinks were ready along with our not too long after. The food was Delicious… We will definitely be back…

We went there on a weekday and there was a freaking line to enter . Anyways the line moved fast and we were asked to pre order n pre pay before we even got the table . Coming to the hype based on reviews n rating, we were bit disappointed. We ordered vegetarian mains and nothing stood out. Overpriced-yes Over rated -yes Under seasoned- yes almost all dishes . Cashew cauliflower which seems like a popular menu item - was sweet like honey coated or something. I liked the texture of the dish but felt missing some seasoning. The restaurant is pretty and food looked pretty too but taste was unremarkable .

Heirloom: The food was so good I forgot my legal name. I was heartbroken because I knew something this good couldn't last. How do I move forward? What’s my fallback position? We can leave that to someone with a lucid thought. To fall in love and dread the inevitable conclusion at the same time is not for the weak. I kept my jacket on all through my meal, but honestly that's not what had my sweating over my plate. It was the dread. They say grief is the receipt we keep for love and I am leaving this establishment grieving. Overall devastatingly good food. Highly recommended.

The fact that there were 40 to 50 people in line outside when I arrived on a tells you everything you need to know about how good this place is. Fortunately the line moves very quickly! Hot tip: if you're a small party of just a few people, or even an individual, there is open seating available at the bar counter with full food service. The best thing about heirloom is the quality and fresh ingredients used in the food. As if that's not enough, the prices are very reasonable and it's topped off by excellent service. Although there's not full table service, you will order when you come in the door and then they will guide you to a table so it's very convenient. They do not take reservations.

All of the food I have ordered has been fantastic! The staff is attentive and all good looking. It gets busy for good reason but the line moves quickly. Nvm the negative review from the vegetarian. I bet her stud partner is miserable. The Kambucha is a great substitute for alcohol if you’re there for lunch.

Heirloom didn’t disappoint while we visited Fresno. It was recommended by two different people, as well as came up on reviews. We had cashew tempura cauliflower, surf & turf, sweet potatoes fries, meatballs, and kale & beet salad. The food was healthy, local and delicious; the drinks were great; and the place was SLAMMED! For a counter service restaurant, I was surprised.. We would absolutely return again.
Miranda F — Google review
If your dining decisions are flavor and freshness driven, heirloom delivers. We loved this place enough to visit 3 times in 3 days. Some of our favs were the beet salad, tomato salad, fig pizza, passion fruit drink. Like the best Disney rides, there’s always a line out the door — more about the-order-before-you-sit setup than available space. Consequently, service is minimal, mainly from the register and walked to your seat. I personally have misgivings about tipping a counter business the same as one would a sit down restaurant but I’ll let you cogitate on that. And while atmosphere is comfortable the lack of table service doesn’t demand a level of patron organization that accompanies a more dynamic machine. But these are small negligible matters when you’re in it for the taste.

Absolutely delicious food! I fell in love with their cashew cauliflower — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The chicken breast was juicy and tender, and the strawberry lemonade was just right — not too sweet, perfectly refreshing. Highly recommend!

House of JuJu is a casual American eatery known for its creative burgers, customizable flatbreads, and a selection of wine and beer. Situated near Sierra Centennial Park on Pollasky Avenue in Clovis, CA, this family-owned restaurant has expanded to other cities in California. Established in 2013, the restaurant offers a variety of sliders and burgers that have received positive feedback from visitors.
I ordered the Sliders with chili (Juju Bleu, Leticia & Dragon Lady Slaw) a side salad with bleu cheese dressing and a gold peak black iced tea. It was easy to carry a conversation without needing to speak up. The food was delicious and the service was great! I will definitely return for another Juju Bleu Burger. It was my favorite from the 3 I tried. I did like all 3 of them, but your Juju Bleu had a familiar bleu cheese taste and it strong, just the way I like my burger.

Stumbled upon this place after seeing great reviews on Google. Decided to come here on an evening whilst passing through Clovis. We loved we could walk here from out hotel. We got a very walk welcome from the server and we chose to sit outside. The service was absolutely fantastic from both female servers from start to finish. This made the experience so much better. I would say the burgers are unique and I decided to have the sliders to try multiple options. I absolutely loved every single choice ! My partner has his burger cooked medium and it was perfect! The only thing that was a little bit of a let down were the roast potatoes as they weren't crispy and a little burned. However everything else was perfect. I would 100% come here again as the food is amazing.

House of JuJu is my new, favorite hamburger place in Fresno!  (Actually, it is in Clovis – but close enough.)   The thick, nicely prepared burgers are made with fresh ground beef (NOT a thin, frozen wafer).  The imaginatively conceived burgers average about $20 (as of February 2025). I had the Greek themed Athena Burger, and it was delicious. There is a good selection of beer.  The place is comfortable and has a nice vibe, but no padded seats or booths.  A meal for two can be had for about $60 including tax and tip.

If you plan to arrive on the weekends, keep in mind of the farmer's market, it does block off some of the parking until after 12pm, otherwise parking can be difficult to find closeby before 12pm, Dined in and ordered a Juicy Bison Burger, with a IBC root beer for lunch, arrived before 12 to get a seat early, some of the best burgers in town, period, try here, you won't be dissapointed.

Some of the best burgers around! And if you're doing a little more low carb, you can get them in a bowl. Don't forget to try the chili, has a special ingredient! Pictured is a piece of their Reese's peanut butter cheesecake~

Food was amazing. Burger was great, potatoes were awesome, cheescake.was the tops. Service was friendly but not engaged and really impacted experience. Bare minimum interaction on what was a slow night and after dessert server just dropped check and said "when you're ready". Felt very dismissive. Never even asked if I wanted another drink which I would have had a few as I am traveling and it was early. Really tainted an overall great food experience. I would recommend with a different server maybe.

This place is one of my absolute favorites! I'm always greeted with a friendly face, seated and served quickly. The food is outstanding and packed with flavor. My go-to order is the dragon lady burger (or burger in a bowl) and it never fails. The slaw is sweet and tangy, the pickled onions on the burger adds great flavor and texture, and not to mention the side order of roasted potatoes with the spicy garlic and Chipotle sauce! Its killer!

Mediterranean restaurant
Mayd Modern Mediterranean is a fusion of Mediterranean flavors and your own creativity, resulting in a bowlful of scrumptiousness that will surely delight your taste buds. It is one of the finest Mediterranean establishments to visit and perhaps the most anticipated new restaurant in California this year. Unfortunately, it's not available in the reviewer's home state. The menu offers reasonably priced delectable Mediterranean bowls that provide enough food for two meals.
Very casual cafe, where you build your own grain or salad bowl. There are some set bowls on the menu. Or, helpful, pleasant staff behind the counter will help build your own bowl. To start, there were 4 types of greens and 4 types of grains to choose from. Next, select from some tasty sauces (I chose tzaziki). Can then add some tasty veggies, such as roasted red bell peppers, roasted, diced sweet potatoes, diced beets, or roasted cauliflower. Finally, choose a protein (veg or non-veg). When filled, the bowl is a large amount of food so I had leftovers. Each item I had was delicious. Highly recommend Mayd.

Proven concept applied to Mediterranean food. Good choice of sauces and hummus, will have to try a few times to get the a personalized bowl. Reason for low stars is 2 reasons. The line workers were cold emotionally, gave off the feeling of they didn’t want to be there. So it came off kind of rude. And secondly, there was a small roach crawling on the wall behind the service line and I told the cashier but she didn’t care. I should have taken a photo of it crawling but that would be detrimental to your business.

WOW!!! This is definitely worth all 5 stars!!! This was DELICIOUS!!! We had the Greek Salad with extra feta, Honey Almond Cauliflower and a side of Harissa Shrimp. Everything was FANTASTIC! Tasted fresh and great! Service was wonderful.. everyone on the line had a smile and was kind and helpful. We will definitely be back! This is a great, local restaurant in Fresno. Fast casual with plenty of seating. Highly recommend!

🥗 Fresh, Fast & Fresno-Mayd Stopped by Mayd Modern Mediterranean and built the ultimate bowl: grilled tri-tip (straight off the grill, still juicy), over arugula and quinoa, loaded up with three kinds of hummus and topped with feta. Every bite was dialed in — fresh, bold, and full of texture. The vibe? Super chill. Clean modern space, upbeat music, and service that actually felt welcoming. You can tell they care about the details — from the way the food’s plated to how it’s seasoned. Nothing sat under heat lamps — it’s all cooked to order and you taste it. If you’re into fast casual that doesn’t cut corners, this is your spot. #MaydModern #FresnoEats #GrilledTriTip #BuildYourBowl #MediterraneanDoneRight #CentralValleyEats #FreshAF #HummusOnHummus #SupportLocalFresno #FoodBlogFresno

Loved the food—I honestly think this is the best “modern Mediterranean” cuisine I’ve ever had. I really wish Mayd would open in New York City someday soon! My only concern was with the server’s attitude. As a first-time guest, I politely asked for help with my order and some guidance on the menu, but the server made it feel as though assisting me was a burden. Having worked as a waitress myself, I understand how demanding and exhausting the job can be, but whenever a customer was kind to me, I always made sure to return that kindness. I know everyone has off days, but happy servers can make a big difference for business. That said, the food truly stole the show—it was an absolute all-star experience.

We were a group of 11. We had to wait almost 1.5 hours. We were seated in a booth. It was hell. Bathroom time, almost everyone had to get up. I'm guessing they don't like big groups. It was hard to hear. We were told it would be an hour wait. At an hour they sent a message that the table was ready then they told us 30 more minutes. What, you can't combine tables together? This happened Monday 2/17/25 @ about 3:30 to 5:00pm. I did try to make a reservation but guess what, they don't do that. A family member said there is a round table for big parties, so ask for that table if you can. The food was very good but not happy with the service. 😐

I had a good time here at yard house as it was my first time E. The food was delicious and full of flavor. I really enjoyed what I ordered. The service was just alright, not super friendly or fast, but not terrible either. Even with that, I’d still go back because the food made it worth it.

I had such a great experience at Yard House! Everything was perfect, but what stood out the most was the amazing service. The staff was incredibly attentive — at one point, three bartenders came over to make sure all of our requests were taken care of right away. The food was just as impressive. The Poke Nachos here were the best I’ve ever had — so fresh, with the oil tasting perfectly light and clean. I also tried the Garlic Noodles, which were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

We are first-timers. We decided on this spot after attending an event at the Savemart Center. It was a Saturday evening and the place was busy. They gave us the option to sit out on the patio or wait 35 to 45 minutes to dine inside. We decided that the patio was fine. We were seated promptly and greeted by Maya our server for the evening. She was amazing!! Our drinks were delicious! Our food was great, although they made a mistake on my husband's order, he ordered the Korean Ribeye and Shrimp he opted for mashed potatoes instead of the fries as he is not a fan of wet fries. But, he enjoyed his steak & shrimp and it was well served. I ordered the Spicy Jambalaya and it was different from Louisiana Jambalaya, but still delicious. My son ordered the Maui Pineapple Chicken and he loved it! My niece ordered the Szechuan Crispy Beef Noodles and she said it was delicious also. We also had guac and chips, and fried calamari for starters but the sauces that came with the calamari were not the best, they could use some improvement. We had a great evening and look forward to dining again, with reservations next time, as now we know it gets very busy!

Italian restaurant
Restaurant
Parma Restaurant is a cozy eatery in Fresno that offers traditional Italian cuisine and homemade pasta dishes. It has received numerous awards, including Best Italian Restaurant, from the California Restaurant Association Fresno Area Chapter. The restaurant's grilled rack of lamb and various pasta dishes are particularly popular among patrons. With a charming patio for al fresco dining, Parma provides a delightful atmosphere to savor their rich and flavorful meals.
Fine dining does not get any better. This was close to absolute perfection. We arrived with reservations at their opening, and were promptly seated at my favorite location, a table in the back corner. A young man filled our water glasses without spilling a drop. Our server, Conner, recommended a wonderful Italian-produced Pino Grigio, which was light and fruity with a nice finish. There is not much better than a server who is like a sommelier. The wine list is quite diverse, and certainly adequate in reds, whites, and sparkles. We got warm, fresh bread, and breadsticks, while we contemplated the menu. The cuisine is strictly meat and pasta, no seafood, but there are many great choices. My wife got the outstanding Minestrone and the Lasagna Parmigian, our niece got the Ravioli de Radiccio, and I got the Escargot, and the Rack of Lamb. Pardon my lack of Italian language here. The escargot were large, in a tremendous traditional butter and garlic sauce, where the bread came in very handy. The lamb was perfectly cooked to order. I have never seen a lasagna presented like this before. All presentations were meticulous, as I am sure Chef Rafael demands. Dinner was nicely paced. While we were too stuffed to order off the homemade dessert menu, Conner did bring out some complimentary, lemony, wonderful Italian cookies. We were also greeted at our table by an elegant, gracious lady, Signora Mastro, who reminded me very much of Chef Andrea, former owner of the great New Orleans restaurant the bore his name for over 30 years. There is something about the Italian people, no matter where we go, that drives them to respect their tradition, and that seems to always make a difference. Signora Mastro is truly a culinary Maestro.

This was an interesting restaurant to visit due to how innocuous it appears from its exterior. It could easily be missed if one isn’t informed- however it would be grand disservice to steer folks here. The interior, while aged, is upheld by the fantastic service and superior dishes. Notable standouts were the lasagna and gnocchi. The duck pasta wasn’t out favorite despite being duck lovers given that the pasta was surprisingly crunchy. We asked for a replacement dish which was promptly supplied with no haggling; this level of customer service is seldom seen, which elevated this seemingly nice experience into an extraordinary one. The creme brûlée was magical, although some vanilla bean would truly elevate this dish. They also offer corkage for an additional fee of $20. Thank you for all for a marvelous experience.

Just wow! This restaurant is an absolute masterpiece. Every single dish, from the delicate quail and savory escargot to the melt-in-your-mouth carpaccio and perfect pasta, was a symphony of flavors. The food is authentically Italian and prepared to perfection—each bite was pure bliss. Even the dessert was amazing; my eyes rolled back with every bite. The sparkling wine was a perfect pairing, enhancing every dish. I've dined at many Italian restaurants across the country and in various countries, and I must say, this was one of the best meals I've ever had. It is truly worth the trip to Fresno just to have a meal here. The service was impeccable and the attention to detail was unsurpassed. Owner Elaina is the best host, making the entire experience feel warm and special. This was more than just a meal; it was truly an orgasmic culinary journey.

Excellent pumpkin ravioli. We sat outside on a 75° day and really enjoyed our evening We will definitely come back when we are in the area. It appeared that our server was busier than others, so he wasn’t quite as attentive as we needed him to be, but that does not take away from the excellent food and the ambience of a nice place.

We were seated when we got there, so there was no wait. We thought the girl who helped us was our waitress, but she informed us our waitress would be with us soon, she did get us our drinks. The waitress didn’t show up so the hostess had to go get her for us so we could order . We finally ordered pulled pork sandwiches that were barbecue, but there was like no barbecue sauce in them. It had a tiny bit. We had to wait and try to find our waitress to get more. couldn’t find her so we could we asked the hostess to get it for us we will not be going back. The food was not that great and it was kind of pricey

I really wanted to have a nice Homestyle breakfast with a friend of mine and suggested this Cafe they are known for their potatoes and boy did they not disappoint. We ordered mimosas with our meal that came out very quickly. I must say I really like the drinks here because they know how to pour. We both ordered the Tequila Sunrise Mimosa which was an excellent choice. Are order was taken by our server and our food came out shortly. I ordered the breakfast with turkey sausage eggs and potatoes. This dish also came with your choice of bread to which I had an English muffin. My friend ordered a vegetable omelette and added bacon to it. The size was incredible and there were definitely leftovers. Overall this is a highly recommended restaurant. In most cases there is a wait, however because we came later in the afternoon we were easy lease seated.

Found myself in Fresno for a rock concert, and headed here from breakfast the next day. The food is SO GOOD! I ordered The Works Omlet, my friend got the Pumpkin Pancakes. I was savoring every bite, and their Country Potatoes were so tasty, I didn't need to add anything to it. The staff is friendly, and take pleasure in seeing their customers satisfied. If you find yourself in Fresno, I highly recommend it. Good eats, and good company

Been there a few times. Always pretty busy, but nice still. You can have conversation with your party just fine. The food is so good. Delicious and Fresh. That's the best! Fresh! Never disappointed. Might be challenging finding a parking place, but so very worth it! Definitely Delicious food and very gracious staff. Just an overall great dining experience.

The Lime Lite is a long-standing upscale restaurant that has been serving farm-to-fork cuisine for over fifty-five years. The menu features New American dishes made with locally-sourced ingredients, offering a unique freshness to every carefully-cultivated dish. The restaurant also boasts innovative cocktails and a charming outdoor setting, making it a popular choice for couples. While the atmosphere is described as zesty and sophisticated, the dim lighting and classic decor add to its appeal.
Brought my parents here for their anniversary and it did not disappoint! The Surf & Turf appetizer, butternut ravioli, & seared scallops were all incredible. They gave my parents a complimentary dessert for their anniversary that was delicious and we also shared a key lime cheesecake that was perfect. Our waitress Esmeralda was so great & gave us excellent service as well - thank you! Can’t wait to come back!

Incredible experience from start to finish. Immediate seating (not busy and had a reservation), very efficient ordering, drinks, and paced meal service. First time here and we'll definitely be back! Photos are a lemon drop and old fashioned, seasonal spring salad with strawberries, fried garlic, and Green Goddess dressing, wood fired ribeye with mash and brussel sprouts, and the chocolate souffle.

Always so consistent. Been here a lot and Never had any bad food or drinks. Great service every time! Killer food. Amazing atmosphere. Best spot in town, no question! I will be coming back for as long as they are around. Bravo!

This is my third time at Lime Lite and it was amazing as usual. The service is top notch here. They come around to make sure everything is fine and on time. There’s no time wasted among any of the staff! I had the wood grilled salmon and it was a great pair of smoky salmon and fresh cucumbers. For an appetizer we had surf and turf and it was the best appetizer we’ve had in Fresno. I’ve also had the Calamari strips which were great as well. The drinks here are strong and very well done. The lemon drop is so good! All in all this place is a 5/5 🔥

Where do I begin? The food was delicious to me, it was the expensive wagyu beef. But upon serving it to me, the manager, named Clint, personally didnt like the way it was cooked. It was well done while i requested medium. He immediately forced a refire of my plate, while letting me keep my current plate. Some time went by, and the new one came out, still not to his likings. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. He did not charge us for the 2 delicious wagyus because it wasnt to his spec, that is customer service beyond belief. I also have to give a shout out to Clare, our waitress as well. She kept checking on us to make sure we were well satisified. All concluded with complimentary Desserts on the house! We will definitely be going back as we had a great experience. Thanks again guys!

It was a special evening with our friends visiting from 🇳🇴 Norway. We all thought the food and service were excellent. They were impressed as we always are with the Lime Lite. For starters the shrimp cocktails were delightful and three of us who don’t normally eat tuna thought the seared tuna was exquisite. The dinners were to everyone’s liking and even our two birthday guests were treated to complimentary desserts…a very nice surprise. Our waitress was delightful and very attentive (the waiters too). The Lime Lite is #1 in our book and never disappoints. We had a wonderful evening.

Delicious Indian food. We ordered Lamb Jaipuri and Chicken Bhoona and were pleasantly surprised by exquisite taste of spices. The complimentary desert was a wonderful end to the meal. The restaurant is spacious and relatively inexpensive for the quality and variety of its menu. We will definitely visit Tandoori Night again next time we’re in Fresno.

BUG FOUND IN MY FOOD/ HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was looking for a highly rated restaurant in my office area to grab lunch. I ordered chicken tikka masala (plain basmati rice included) and garlic naan; I was completely repulsed as I was eating my order when I found a BUG on my rice. I called immediately to inform the restaurant; they apologized, offered a refund, & requested I submit picture proof. Please see my included pictures for their terrible customer service. I had to go in after work and they still tried to say they can only remake food. I had to demand a refund as promised over the phone. I will never go back here again and highly discourage anyone from coming here. It’s obvious they do not dust or clean their establishment up to code. The shelves behind the cashier stand are filthy and covered in dust. Unfortunately, my favorite Indian restaurant: Kebab Palace does not open until after 4:30. I would recommend going anywhere else but here for better more quality food experience. From what I tasted out of my first bites it was 4/10 at best. My order tasted more like butter chicken then chicken tikka. I was extremely disappointed and I hope they are inspected by the health department. As for there horrendous and insulting costumer service I have no solution to recommend. By no means was I looking for a free meal as I tipped on a to-go order; I work two jobs at am fortunate to be able to treat myself to a nice lunch once a month, this experience was such a waste and disappointment.

Visited last night for dinner an hour before closing. The food was pretty good—flavorful but a bit oily. Service, though, was really slow. Just one or two staff handling everything, and they kept forgetting basics like cutlery. Took a while to even get our order. They did give complimentary gulab jamun to make up for it, which was a nice gesture, but honestly, not enough. If they improve the service, it could be a great spot to go more often.
Veera R — Google review
Tandoori Night in Fresno impressed us with soft and fluffy Tandoori Naan, chili naan, and onion kulcha. The Vegetable Karahi was flavorful, and the chicken tikka came in a sizzler. Highly recommend for authentic Indian Punjabi flavors! Service was quick as well.

Mad Duck Craft Brewing Co. is a charming brick-walled tavern that offers its own unique small-batch brews alongside a menu of delectable New American bar bites and burgers. What makes this brewery stand out is its on-site handcrafted beers and its dog-friendly environment, making it a perfect spot for beer enthusiasts to enjoy a cold pint with their furry companions on the inviting outdoor patio. Visitors have praised the excellent service and delicious food, highlighting the variety of flavorful dishes available at this establishment.
Great First Experience at Mad Duck Stopped in for the first time on a Thursday evening and had a great experience. The menu was smaller than expected, but the quality made up for it. We started with the calamari appetizer—crispy, well-seasoned, and paired with flavorful dipping sauces. Easily one of the highlights of the meal. I ordered the steak salad and was genuinely impressed. The dressing had a nice tang, the greens were fresh, and the bold flavor of the blue cheese complemented the tender steak beautifully. The other entrée at our table was the Goat Cheese & Bacon Burger, which got high praise for its rich and savory flavor profile. The Citra beer was easy-drinking and smooth, with a clean flavor that paired well with the food. Refreshing without being too heavy. Service was excellent—our server, Jesse, was intuitive to our needs and stayed attentive throughout the evening without hovering. All in all, solid food, great drinks, and welcoming service. I’d definitely go back.

Overall, Mad Duck Craft Brewing Co is a must-visit for craft beer enthusiasts in Fresno. With great beer, a friendly atmosphere, and excellent service, it’s definitely worth checking out. Highly recommend!

I ordered a wellness cocktail during happy hour for $5. I asked what drinks are included in a "wellness cocktail" waitress said she could do crown and diet coke as wellness cocktail. I was charged $9 and when I asked about the charge, the waitress said it was her mistake but there's nothing she can do about it after checking with her manager. My crispy chicken was over cooked, dry, fried with fish fry and the salad was unseasoned. No salt and pepper shakers at the table. Table wobbled so much our drinks spilled. $28 for this want worth it. I will not be returning
Cheyenne G — Google review
Great spot to get burgers, appetizers are huge portions and staff is always nice. They have nice beer on tap so if thats your vibe you should check it out!
Jesus M — Google review
We tried the new Korean Pork Bowl at Mad Duck and had a really disappointing experience. The rice was served cold and extremely crunchy—not just once, but even after they remade it. We ended up only eating the pork. When I asked the manager about it, instead of addressing the issue, she told me the rice is “supposed to be cold” and that I shouldn’t order it again. The problem wasn’t temperature—it was that the rice was not cooked properly and inedible. The server did her best, but the manager was dismissive and rude. Sadly, between the poorly prepared food and unprofessional response, I can’t recommend Mad Duck, especially for work lunches or group outings. Update: After posting my original review, I was contacted by Kyle from Mad Duck’s leadership team. He personally took the time to look into what happened, spoke with the kitchen and management staff, and sent me a very thoughtful and thorough response. He acknowledged both the food and service issues, explained the steps they’re taking to correct them across all stores, and addressed how the situation with management was handled. What stood out most to me was the accountability, instead of excuses, he offered a sincere apology and shared clear actions being taken to ensure this doesn’t happen again. That level of care and professionalism goes a long way and makes me feel confident about giving Mad Duck another try. Mistakes happen, but the way they are handled says everything about a business. I really appreciate the way Kyle and his team addressed this, and I look forward to a better experience next time.

the food was good, I got a french dip sandwich with goat cheese added. the fries was really good too. I also got a drink from there which was the alcoholic elderberry one, I really enjoyed that a lot and I wish I got more drinks haha. this place is type of place I would go back for, the reason why i’m giving 4 stars is because the menu was kinda hard to decide but I understand why. it might be kinda hard for picky eaters to choose except for the chicken tender and fries they have on the menu.

Ding Ding!! Mr. C's 💯 ... Look, if you were trying to stay healthy don't come here. Of course they have healthy foods, but the best way to enjoy this place is to eat like a carnivore! Wings are 🔥 FIRE... Sauces are 🔥... Classic burger was a "little off", But manager & Dee...Quickly resolved issue. 1 problem... Burger and fries are the same price as wings. 😒 🤔 Shouldn't the wing be cheaper?? Still 😍 loved it! P.s. Whiskey selection next level 👌 💯

Cool decor, great server, unique and delicious drinks. I had the campfire smores and my husband loved the eureka sour. Really good and great presentation. Salmon with puréed potatoes and grilled green beans was really nice. My husband really liked his burger with truffle cheese fries
Serena L — Google review
I door dashed a few items from this restaurant and was not too thrilled with the food. The street corn was so sour, we couldn't eat it. The mac and cheese balls were decent but not a lot of flavor. The ranch it came with tasted off so we couldn't eat that. We also ordered the brussel sprouts. Those were really sour and didn't taste savory. Yuck! The kids mac and cheese was the only meal that actually tasted decent. For $50, I am extremely disappointed. We got a tiny container of both mac and cheese and the street corn. It would not have been worth the $12 or $15 bucks we were charged for each. Food is way over priced and not tasty. We definitely won't be back.
Tonya H — Google review
It's a fun little restaurant to go to with friends. They have fancy drinks and good food. We love the truffle fries and brussel sprouts. It's not really a 'little kid' place because it's small inside and there's a bar. It feels more adult-casual. If you go with a big group, you can get separate checks, but remember they automatically include 20% tip on your bill for large groups- so double check to see if it's already on your check before you calculate your tip. We go for a few special occasions a year with a group of friends. They love the mimosa flight!

Luna Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant, a long-standing family-owned establishment, is renowned for its authentic cuisine and inviting atmosphere. This unpretentious Italian spot offers a delectable spaghetti pizza with homemade sauce, which is highly regarded as one of their signature dishes. With roots dating back to the late 1960s, Luna has become a well-loved destination for families seeking a warm ambiance and kid-friendly menu options.
Luna’s is on the favorite list of places to go to dinner. It is hard to decide what to have because everything is so yummy! My husband had the pizza and I chose the 1/2 plate of spaghetti and lasagne.

We had a great time at Luna. it was loud and very enjoyable. food was solid 👌. Chicken marsala, calzone special, chicken alfredo and lasagna. 🍞 🍲 🥗 🔥.
J. W — Google review
We got 3 different entrees/meals. A spaghetti marinara sauce, fettuccine alfredo with chicken, and a large veggie and chicken pizza. My daughter stated that the marinara spaghetti was bland. I have to agree that my fettuccine Alfredo was very bland. I utilized salt and pepper to attempt to give it some life. the chicken had good flavor and it's only saving grace. My husband did not like the creaminess of the cheese that was on the Pizza and it didn't hold up for an evening meal. Felt like a waste of money....sorry yall but we wont be back. The servers were kind enough and Able to respond to questions regarding the menu. The restaurant was older and had character but lighting could use some help as it made the wall colors look a really uncomfortable yellow smoker stained color. Cant be unseen
Mia D — Google review
Had the Luna's Special pizza and a medium antipasto salad with the house Italian dressing. The salad was delicious - loaded with cheese, pepperoni and salami with a very tasty dressing. The pizza wasn't anything to get excited about for me. The crust was too thick and chewy, and I couldn't taste the sauce, and those two elements make or break a pizza. I will give credit for all the cheese that was on it, though. Our waitress was really nice and accommodated our request to be moved to a regular sized table after being sat at a very small bench seat. The only thing that raised eyebrows for us is when my husband noticed someone in the kitchen (assumed manager) tearing into a couple of waitresses - he didn't think that was too nice.
Erin D — Google review
Dinner was very good. Wife angel hair with shrimp was decent, kinda bland. I had Pete's special, spicy tons of sauce, sausage and cheese! Shrimp alfredo was on pointbas well. Service is top notch and always great portions!
Billy M — Google review
My dish was okay. Very reasonable. Overall the restaurant is very dark and dirty. If the front house is unkempt, I would hate to see the kitchen. The pasta sauce was very sour and bitter, I'm glad we got it on the side. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. But clean your restaurant. The owners should reevaluate their managers. These simple tasks should not be overlooked.

The Elbow Room has that rare mix of great food, great service, and great vibes. A true local gem!

I’ve been to the elbow room a couple times the past two years and I’ve always had a good experience. The food is delicious, the drinks are great and the customer service is always so welcoming. Last week I went for the first time in awhile with a newborn baby and the customer service I had with my server and the manager was the best I’ve ever experienced. Due to them not having a changing table just yet in their restroom the manager and server were fast to offer to help me in anyway they can. I appreciate them helping me, you can never find such kind people in the restaurant industry to help out. Other than that the food was delicious as always. I 100% recommend The Elbow Room.

Can't believe we live only a few blocks from this place and I just went there for my first time a few weeks ago. (Been living just blocks away for over 35 years) It certainly lives up to its name. We were a party of 5 and they sat in us a booth for 4 -- so wall to wall elbows on one side of the table. There was another family across from us and they were basically squeezed in similar to us. Food was good. Atmosphere is -- well lets just say it's a popular place so -- there will be plenty of background noise. We had great server. I'll be back for another go soon enuf. ---------------------------------------------------------- [edit 9/20/23] We've added 2 additional visits since my first review. One night with a couple a friends and last Friday evening for my wife's birthday. My son made reservations for 7 (4 adults - 2 minors - 1 child) All I can say is that is the LAST place you want to be sitting on a Friday evening at the Elbow Room. It was packed with quinquagenarians through octogenarians (or maybe some of those ladies just looked older than they were and I should put the age ceiling at septuagenarians). Their bodies were literally bumping up against my kids, who were sitting with their backs to the bar. ...and the noise, was off the charts. Pretty confident five of our party of seven were the youngest folks in the place. That aside, the food was great! It's a 5 star as far as the food goes - on the FRESNO scale --- which probably makes it a 3.5 star in cities where they have NICE restaurants. [edit] I’ve returned so often and like the place enough that I bumped it up to five stars. Anyway, I'm adding a few more pictures and as always - I'm stuckinfresno dot com.

BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse is a family-friendly chain known for its extensive list of house brews and familiar pub fare. The restaurant offers top-quality craft beers on tap to accompany shareable appetizers, snacks, and small bites or mouthwatering entrees such as handcrafted burgers, signature deep dish pizza, and fresh specialty salads. With a relaxed atmosphere featuring sports TVs and a large bar, it's the perfect spot to enjoy good food and award-winning craft beer with friends or family.
BJ’s delivered a great dining experience during my recent visit. I ordered the steak and ribs combo, and both were cooked perfectly. The steak was tender and flavorful, while the ribs were juicy with just the right amount of smokiness and sauce. It’s clear they take pride in the quality of their food, and this combo did not disappoint. What really stood out, though, was the service. I sat at the bar and was lucky to have Kristen as my server. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel welcoming. It’s always refreshing to be served by someone who genuinely seems to enjoy their job and goes the extra mile to ensure you’re taken care of. Overall, I’d highly recommend BJ’s on E. Shaw to anyone looking for a solid meal and great service. Whether you're stopping by for dinner or just grabbing a drink at the bar, the atmosphere is laid-back and comfortable. With delicious food and top-notch service, it’s definitely a spot I’ll be returning to.

STAY AWAY HAIR in Food. I gave this location too many chances 1.Service always slow 2.Never attentive 3.Food is unsanitary, this last time my salad had hair, Manager was cool and deducted it but waiter never mention it and never apologized and still try to charge me full Price had to double tell him manager said he’ll take care of it waiter kind of didn’t believe me until I showed him the picture.. last time here never satisfied not worth the time, not worth the wait not worth the food. Seems like understaffed or waiters don’t care about taking care of customers

Alyssa M was such an amazing surver! She gave us amazing beer recommendations with the biggest smile. We came in sad to hear the spookie pizookie was sold out. But Alyssa TO THE RESCUE! She made us something similar and took care of us! It was the best service ever!! My fiancé and I came in for our double birthday celebration and we’re not disappointed! Alyssa is the best server we’ve ever had and even though she had a lot of other customers, she was speedy quick with service and helped us with all our needs. She was kind, helpful, and all around AMAZING. Best double birthday ever thanks to Alyssa M. If you are so fortunate as to have her as ur server, make sure to tip her double because she deserved it! This was my first 21st birthday and she made it so special. Thanks Alyssa M! We appreciate all that you did and made this the best birthday ever! We loved having you! Not all hero’s wear capes!! @ Alyssa M!! You made this the best birthday EVER!!!!

The service here was relatively quick, and decently fast with seating, however I did have a party of two, sadly not sure how it is for larger groups The food: I ordered the New Orleans jambalaya and this was hands down the best dinner dish I’ve had at a restaurant in a long long time, it was perfectly seasoned and cooked, not a single thing was off seriously knocked it out of the park The only downside I can think of is that our server forgot our water, but even then that can be excused by them also having the task of training a new server, so even with that I have nothing negative to say, well done I’ll most certainly be coming back!

Ruth's Chris Steak House is an upscale American steakhouse chain that is renowned for its sizzling, butter-topped beef served in an elegant setting. While it's famous for offering the finest cuts of USDA Prime beef and award-winning wines, the restaurant also provides a variety of other options including chicken, fish, and vegetarian dishes. Guests can also indulge in a prix fixe menu featuring a starter, entree, personal side, and dessert.
I've dined here multiple times, and the initial experiences were impressive. The tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection, and the kitchen consistently accommodated my requests for doneness. The mashed potatoes were exceptional, possibly the best I've encountered at a steakhouse. The calamari was also delicious, with a well-judged seasoning. Unfortunately, a recent dinner date yielded a steak that didn't meet the high standards set by my previous visits, although the service remained top-notch and speedy. Considering the bustling atmosphere, I didn't anticipate an outstanding experience.

Just moved to Fresno recently, and happened to celebrate my birthday here. Everyone at Ruth’s Chris were super hospitable and friendly. We arrived with decorations on our table and a menu with a birthday message on top. They even took a photo for us and gave it to us as a gift. On top of all the service, their onion soup is one of the best I’ve tried thus far, and their steaks were on point too! Super juice and flavorful!!! Thank you to Ruth’s Chris Steak house for an amazing night :) I will definitely visit again!

Ruth's Chris in Fresno provided a truly enjoyable setting for a recent birthday celebration. The atmosphere was upscale and fun, making the special occasion feel properly celebrated. The drinks and food were fantastic. The quality of the steaks and other dishes lived up to the Ruth's Chris reputation, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. However, the service had a few minor, yet noticeable, stumbles. Our server misheard a couple of our drink and food orders, which required correction. Additionally, the dishes for our party didn't arrive at the table all at the same time, leading to a slight feeling of being uncoordinated. The server also went through every section of the menu in detail. While I appreciated the thoroughness and knowledge, this extensive presentation felt like it took a bit too long before we were able to look over the menu ourselves and finalize our decisions. These small service hiccups, while present, did not ruin our experience. It was also Freezing in the dining room. Bring a shawl or cardigan. The delicious food, great drinks, and celebratory atmosphere ensured we had a wonderful time. Despite the minor issues with timing and order-taking, the overall quality of the dining experience was high, and I would absolutely love to come back for another visit. It's a great spot for a special occasion.

It was our 1st time coming to this restaurant and my gf and I went to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. Let me tell you that all the staff did an amazing job to make us feel special and welcomed! Especially Richard!! Shout out to Richard because he went above and beyond to provide us with amazing service. From the beginning to the end he was attentive to make sure everything was good from the food to our beverages. A manager helped my gf out to find the perfect wine for the occasion and a hostess even put rose petals out for us. We got ravioli and the stuffed mushrooms for appetizers and they were great. The bread and butter was delicious and they kept them coming! We got the 26oz cowboy ribeye for our entree and they came out perfect, we got them medium and we got what we asked for. For the sides, we got the asparagus, garlic mashed and lobster mac and cheese and everything was delicious! At the end Richard came out to serve us complimentary dessert for the special occasion which was the cherry on top to a great evening! Thank you Richard and the rest of the staff for everything and for making it a memorable anniversary dinner!

First time in this location. The food was great, as always and as expected. The onion soup was to die for. I had a 16 oz Ribeye, which was cooked a perfectly rare. This is not easy to do, when still making the outside crusty and the inside not stone cold, well done. Equally good job on the 6 oz fillet and lobster for my spouse. The rare filet was a masterpiece, and the lobster soft as butter. All the sides were great too: 'au gratin' potatoes, creamy spinach and mushrooms. It was very quiet, just 5 tables served, and the atmosphere was a bit eery because of the big room. What was disappointing was the service. The server was clearly not aware of the wine menu, and had to go ask if they had Rose. I would have let that go, but he checked in too many times with always the same "can I grab you anything else", even after first asking "are you doing ok". A few of those are great, but 20 times starts to be annoying.

For our anniversary dinner, we decided to treat ourselves to Ruth Chris steakhouse, we hadn't been here in many years, but we remembered their food to be extraordinary. We were seated promptly, and our server was very attentive. The only feedback that I would give about the restaurant is that it is so dimly lit inside that it is difficult to see the menu. Other than that, drinks, food, and service were exceptional. I would highly recommend it, but you may need to use your phone flashlight to see the menu, as we observed others having the same issue. LOL

This was a terrible experience from start to finish. Literally did not even feel like we were in a Ruth’s Chris. We called at 8:15 to see if they could squeeze us in because it was a Saturday night and everything else in the area was full. The gentleman who answered the phone said no problem. When can you get here and we told him we are walking in the door in five minutes. When we walked through the door to young ladies greeted us and told us there was no room available. We explained that we had just hung up the phone and someone secured a table. We showed them the conversation on my daughter‘s phone to ensure we called the right number. No big deal we ended up sitting in the lounge. That’s fine, same menu. The three of us sat ourselves at a table. No one brought our menus. There were only two other tables that were occupied in the bar, and the bar was completely empty. After five minutes, my husband got up and went to the bar and retrieve the menus for us. The waitress finally came over and was pleasant and took our order for drinks and appetizer. Here’s where it all go south. The calamari came out, drenched, literally soaked so much in the chili sauce that the breading was falling off. They were kind enough to split the chopped salad that my husband and I ordered, but it was completely soggy like it was made and chopped in the back hours earlier and sat in the vinaigrette. The biggest joke of all was the $15 baked potato. I’ve attached a photo for your viewing pleasure. This was definitely cooked in the morning and left to dry out all day until it became a shriveled unrecognizable spud. The steak as always was an amazing cut of meat. Unfortunately, it was already cooked too well done (we ordered medium plus - there was zero pink) when they brought it out the sizzling hot plate and immediately became overdone within minutes. Completely too tough to eat. My daughter enjoyed the salmon, but we all agreed it was a little too fishy. I know that sounds funny because it is fish, but fresh fish should never have a fishy smell to it that you can smell from across the table. Not salmon. Overall, the service was fine. It was not over the top, but everyone that served us was pleasant and efficient. When they did forget things, they were quick to correct them. But, I have to say, The food was just not even close to anything that is your typical Ruth’s Chris amazingness. Could’ve been an off night, but for a Saturday night you would think everything would be on.

Campagnia Bistro, an elegant restaurant with a Californian-inspired menu and a relaxed atmosphere, offers buffet options in addition to its regular offerings. On a first visit, the food was delightful; after considering several enticing choices, the salmon salad stood out for being flavorful and perfectly cooked, with an ample portion size. The attentive server ensured a pleasant dining experience at a price that was slightly higher than usual but still reasonable.
One of my favorite restaurants to go to in Fresno! I go here at least once a year to celebrate my birthday. If you sign up for their birthday club, they give you a free appetizer and free dessert with the order of two entrées. Today, my friend and I ordered chopped salads. For our appetizer, we had the shrimp, and for dessert we had the apricot bread pudding.

We got there at 9pm for our reservations. We were instantly sat down. We ordered our food and it didnt arrive until 10:36pm. I ordered some sort of pasta dish and it claims to have chicken and pasta. I would figure at least an 8-12 oz chicken breast. But the total amount of chicken I got was about 2oz. Just 3 pieces of chicken. All pasta. Point is I waited 1.5 hours for basically just pasta. Never going here again. I do not recommend.

Food as usual good! Service awful - waited 30 mi for our complimentary mimosa. Another 30 min for the waitress to come back to our table to let her know 5 of us wanted bottle less mimosas, at that time 5 of us gave her our sheet with our omelette order. That never came and when asked she said she didn’t know. Asked several times for refills on our bottles mimosas. 1 pitcher for 5 people was NOT enough. Asked her if my cake could be brought out and again waited for 30 mins. Idk what’s happened here but this time around was chaos and sat for a long time just waiting on her, never got her name nor did she introduce herself. Not sure that I will be booking there again for brunch in the future.

So my wife wanted to celebrate her birthday here tonight and I was a little bit hesitant because we have had brunch here a few times and it was unimpressive to say the least. However, dinner was absolutely amazing! I had the rack of lamb and WOW! My wife had the halibut and it was also really good. So I deleted my tow star review and I’m giving them a solid four stars now. Service was perfect and the ambiance was classy and it was a perfect place to celebrate my wife’s 41st birthday. I’d give them 5 stars but the brunch things is holding them back.

Gravely disappointed. Visiting from Canada, we chose this restaurant based on reviews — big mistake. While the bathroom was spotless (kudos), service fell short. Our server never introduced himself, non-alcoholic drink options were limited to soda, and a mocktail we ordered was undrinkable. The “lemonade” replacement was syrupy, with an odd smell and unpleasant aftertaste. Our entrées took too long to arrive, my husband’s steak was overcooked, and my halibut was completely bland. Spotless bathroom aside, nothing lived up to expectations. We won’t be back.

We’ve had dinners here a few times and every experience was amazing. We tried the brunch buffet and it did not disappoint one bit. Very impressed by the variety of food and you can’t go wrong with the omelette of your choice. Looking forward to our next brunch visit

Steak house
American restaurant
Restaurant
Texas Roadhouse is a lively chain steakhouse that offers American cuisine with a Southwestern twist, all within a Texas-themed setting. The restaurant specializes in hand-cut steaks and burgers, along with a variety of sides made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. While some find the prices to be on the higher side, many praise the top-notch quality of the steaks and the generous portion sizes. Despite potential wait times, visitors appreciate the enjoyable ambiance and friendly staff at this establishment.
Texas Roadhouse delivered an outstanding dining experience that exceeded expectations. The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The ribs were equally impressive, falling off the bone with a smoky, savory glaze that added just the right amount of kick. It’s clear that they know how to handle their meats, and the quality shines through with every bite. The salad was a surprise standout. Crisp, fresh greens paired with flavorful toppings and a well-balanced dressing made it more than just a side dish—it was genuinely enjoyable. It complemented the richness of the steak and ribs without being overshadowed, which is no small feat. Of course, no trip to Texas Roadhouse is complete without their signature bread and cinnamon butter (or "bunny butter" as it’s fondly known). Warm, soft rolls fresh from the oven paired with that sweet, creamy spread were the perfect start—and end—to the meal. Altogether, the combination of great food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere made for a memorable visit.

Traditional place for steak. Party of 13, we had to wait around one hour to get our tables. Plenty of free parking space. I give this place a 5 stars for food but it’s all relative to what it is. Can’t compare this restaurant to Fleming’s or Alexander steakhouse. Steak here is better than at Sizzler or Applebees. This place is noisy and that’s expected. Our waitress had a trainee and kinda missed a few items so we had to remind her but after dinner was over, she brought extra bread to go. This is the place to go when you have a big party and want to eat steak. It’s located in a shopping plaza with plenty of free parking. Nearby there a tea place and across the street there’s a “dessert” shop with milk tea.

The prime rib was nice and soft. Also the shrimp was very tasty. Ribs were also very good. Meat just slid right off the bones.. Was a bit crowded and the parking lot was I think to small for the amount of people that were there. All in all, it was well worth it......

Texas Roadhouse definitely gives Texas size plates. Everything was tasty from the cocktail with the crunchy blooming onion to the main course. My only complaint: I got the smothered chicken which states it has sauteed onions and mushrooms topped with a homemade gravy. The grill chicken, onions and mushrooms had a great flavor but there was absolutely no gravy... Not even a sauce. It would have been nice to have the gravy with the mashed potatoes.

Food And waiter was great no issues. Only thing bothered me is that the way they made a mother with her little one in a middle seat move their kid to make room for the other table to squish everyone together. The other guess even asked to sit on the other tables which were empty and the girl said no sorry. Like there is Bunch other tables open right here they shouldn't cram everyone together to the point to disturb a child in a stroller. I understand it's to clean fast and prep for the next roll of customers but it's courtesy and common sense.

My sisters and my niece came in for an early dinner to celebrate our sisters 56 birthday. The staff was fantastic, helped move a chair so my sister can sit on the seat on her walker. Our waitress was amazing, kept our drinks going and checking to see if we were good. The margarita i had was one of the best ever. Our food was perfect, i had the prime rib and it was cooked to perfection. I loved the raw and prepared horseradish just the way ii liked it. I know the girls loved their dishes as well. Thank you all for making our sisters birthday special.

I typically love this place but seriously???? Halfway into my burrito i bite into a big piece of fried plastic. Not just some little piece I had to pull it out of the burrito like a long string. If the cooks can miss this, imagine what else might end up in your food.

I usually come by and get tacos and the super nachos at the Ingram location and is ALWAYS GREAT! The service fenomenal the salsa bar always stocked. My nachos have always had all the fixings no issue. Today I decided to come to the Blackstone location . Tacos are nicely wrapped well prepared. How ever my nachos🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ TERRIBLE they were just tossed into a box. They have 2 salsa bars only one was semi full, no limes no pico no jalapeños. The other one was empty…… I usually will grab some more jalapeños and pico but there wasn’t any🤷🏻‍♀️ no limes for my tacos…. I am upset I payed over $35 for my order and is not pleasant .

I went yesterday with my cousin. I really enjoy this place been coming here for more than a decade. I always get a botana and some spicy shrimp tacos. Until today I realized they make shrimp tacos with no sauce. They gave me a botana with no sauce, I ask if I can get it redone with the spicy suace the botana is normally made. Honestly I tried to enjoy the food but it was swimming in mantequilla or some sort of oil. I'm not sure if they are making food this way now or it's some sort of retaliation from the cook. I get it a misunderstood order can frustrate but I'm not asking for free food.

FYI a carne asada burrito doesn't have rice, beans, cheese, lettuce or any of the other garbage you put on it to fill it instead of asada... this is what an asada burrito looks like, I do it myself San Diego style cause you can't.

Some of the best tacos I’ve had hands down. Everything you get is fresh since they get busy. I got their tacos with beans, my favorite was their carne asada it was so smoky! Don’t sleep on the pollo and the chile verde either! I definitely have to try their al pastor next time! I also got their horchata, definitely authentic! They have a self serve bar with condiments such as salsas, pickles, cilantro, onions, and lemon.

We always forget about P.F. Chang's until we go. They have good food. I love their all day happy hour menu that includes their lettuce wraps and the fried green beans for $10. You can literally get full off the happy hour menu. They also serve $5 margaritas, cosmos, wine and well drinks. You can't beat that. It has been a while since we dined at P.F. Chang's. A few of the menu items had changed, such as the Dan Dan Noddles and the chili paste. Chang's Chicken Lettuce Wrap is still delicious. Salt & Pepper Prawns are a bit too salty. Ma Po Tofu was delicious.

Being a pretty easygoing person, I tend to be gracious when it comes to reviews; however, when I do experience either end of the scale – excellent vs. terrible – I become passionate. In this case, I need to express my extreme satisfaction with my experience at this P.F. Changs. From the hostesses to the food and drink – excellent. The standout of the night was our server, Dean. I felt as if I had known him for years as he is extremely personable and cares about our individual tastes and needs. He recommended drinks, appetizers, and entrees that were spot-on. He checked on us at the perfect moments without hovering. It was a late dinner for us ending our long day on a high note. Thank you, Dean!

Good experience. I love the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was okay. It's very pricey for chinese food. The chef special is worth it, and lunch express is affordable. Dinner entrees are full price. Love the salad, don't get the hot and sour soup, not a big fan, and I had better elsewhere. Must try but I won't go back

Me and my friends wanted to have a nice dinner and chose this restaurant. First I love that I was able to quickly book a reservation when most reservations are booked. We were able to get a table for five. The waitress was friendly and quickly brought our drinks to the table. I ordered the wontons, which tasted really great. My entree was the chicken lettuce wraps. I must say all of the dishes are shareable and they give you a lot of food. The hit of the table was the Chinese smoked old-fashioned. It's delivered to your table still smoking with a lid. Overall this is a great restaurant to reconnect with if you haven't been there in a while.

With branches located on East Bullard Avenue and East Champlain Avenue in Fresno, it offers a casual dining experience where you can enjoy delicious dishes while discussing your plans for the day. The inviting ambiance, combined with excellent service, makes it a favorite spot among locals. One highly recommended dish is the chicken and waffles. Despite occasional busyness, customers rarely have to wait long to be seated.
Awesome food. Great flavors and atmosphere in the morning is very relaxing. If you order any pancakes, try them without the syrup. The syrup is a bit overkill as the pancakes are packed with buttery goodness. Sweet potato fries are powerful in flavor, crunchy enough to add that extra excitement and soft in the middle. The French toast is soft, easy to cut for kids, about. 1/4 inch thick and plenty to go around for a great price. Everything was great, couldn’t have asked for a better breakfast and relaxing experience.

Food was good. Definitely a unique atmosphere and experience. It's kinda dark in the dining hall because of the decor and theme. You certainly get a lot of food though

I ordered the Louisiana omelette breakfast with sourdough toast and a side of fruit instead of the red roasted potatoes. It was quite savory and filling. The hollandaise sauce was perfectly creamy, and almost each bite of the omelette had shrimp. Even without potatoes, the portions were too much for one meal. Great service! Great food!

I went here with my friends this morning for brunch and it was so much fun! The staff was super friendly, especially my ANGEL of a waiter (Her name's Dani and she was one of the coolest ladies I've ever met!! And she memorized all of our orders perfectly without even using a notebook or anything!). I got the french toast with fresh strawberries on top and it was so delicious, and so was the strawberry lemonade. Dani even gave me a cup to put my extra drink in to take with me 🥺🥺, I highly recommend going here!

It is a nice cozy location located in a plaza with many other stores. Be prepared to wait for under half an hour if you are there for brunch. Service is professional and welcoming. Our server was Juan, and he was extremely friendly and professional. We ordered chicken fried steak over biscuits with gravy, and it was extremely flavorful. Other main items were crab cakes benedict. Again, the dish was great. One must try beignets. These fluffy mini doughnuts are served with 3 different fruit jellies. The food portions are also huge.

Even though this restaurant is part of a larger chain, it has a much more personal/friendly feel than a lot of chain restaurants. Even when it is busy (there can be a wait Sunday AMs after church) everyone who works there is genuinely friendly. I often come here by myself, and since they only have a couple of smaller tables I often end-up at a table for 4 by myself even when it is crowded but they never make me feel weird/bad about this. I first came here around 2.5 years ago on my first Sunday after having moved to Fresno not knowing anyone here - the waitress (I wish I remembered her name!) asked if I had been to Huckleberry's before and when I said "no" excitedly took the time to sit down and explain the menu concept / make recommendations. I know it sounds cheesy but I still remember leaving not only with a very positive impression of the restaurant but also feeling very welcomed to Fresno!

Fun breakfast place to eat! The peach tea is amazing!! It was quiet but fun! The food was great too, atmosphere is great and it feels like a bayou haha! Stuffed French toast and the waffles were good! Dense but soft! And the peaches have the glaze that is great! That server was pretty nice too, in my experience, it was a slow relaxing Tuesday where the rush was already done for and the last few hungry customers arrived! I will go again and have been going since I discovered it last year.

I thought this place was pretty good 👍We came in after church today for lunch and we all ended up ordering breakfast lol we started off with fried green tomatoes which I've never had before and wanted to try and they were great! I had the chicken and waffles and my wife had some sort of skillet and my son had bacon and eggs. We were able to walk right in and get seated and our server was great as well. If your in the neighborhood come on by and have a bight.

Ampersand Ice Cream is a family-owned ice cream parlor located on Echo Ave. in Fresno, California. This popular spot is known for its gourmet flavors and tasting flights, offering a hip vibe for visitors. The highest rated dessert spot in the city, it uses locally sourced ingredients from the Central Valley to create small batch treats with a seasonal menu that changes monthly.
I visited Ampersand Ice Cream this past Sunday with my family, and while there was a line out the door, it moved quickly. Unfortunately, the place is so popular that many of their regular and monthly special flavors were sold out. That said, I was thoroughly impressed with the staff. They took the time to be attentive to each customer, which made a huge difference. My friend and I were trying to rush through our order so we wouldn’t hold up the line, but our server was so patient and supportive. They offered us samples without hesitation, making sure we were completely satisfied with our choices. It was such a kind and considerate touch that made the experience even more enjoyable. Although we couldn't try some of the flavors we had hoped for, it was still a fantastic visit overall. I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying more of their delicious offerings!

First time here. Looking for a hot fudge sundae with whipped cream and a cherry on top. Apparently, they do not have cherries. No biggie. I just figured an ice cream shop would actually have all of the ingredients for a hot fudge Sunday. They had the ice cream and the fudge. They even had the whip cream. But without the cherry on top, really is not a hot fudge sunday. Amazing staff! Amazing ice cream! We had a go. Bottom line, $6 for a scoup w/ chocolate syrup. While it tastes good, i can get a full pint of hagendaaz at walmart for $4.69. Vs. 1 scoop here. Eh, nice place. Glad I tried it. In this economy, i'm not going back. There's not enough value for a single dad. Oh, limited parking too.

The only spot in Fresno for ice-cream. This month’s flavors did not disappoint. The blueberry basil should be a regular option it’s so good

I love how many wonderful flavors they have! It is and only a little on the expensive side but their ice-cream is delicious! My favorite flavor that I have tried so far is their Taro-Mallow, which I believe will only be around this month until who knows when. The two other flavors I got will also only be around this month, Strawberry Matcha and Pecan! Absolutely delicious and wonderful service!

It was great, delicious even. Good service, nice place, plenty of parking, and seemed quite busy but a well liked spot. Would come back if ever in the area for icecream-to-go.

Whenever I'm in the Tower District Ampersand is a must-stop. Every month they bring new, seasonal flavors to their menu. All fresh from the farmers market. During summer this place gets busy at night, so be prepared for a wait. Also many of the items run out, so you'll have to go the next day. Ask the workers for suggested ice cream combinations to try. Either way it's very worth it!
Jerome M — Google review
I went last night with my partner and we bought $50 worth of ice cream for my family so we wanted to try out the ice cream before to make sure we liked the favors. Well the girl who helped us was so passive aggressive and just snoppy. I won’t be back here anymore. Rude girls serving out ice creams , they seem upset you ask to try out the ice cream. Learn better customer service especially when you are charging people so expensive for ice cream.

Castillos may look like typical Cali TexMex but from the first bite you know it's different. I grew up eating at inland empire taco stands and have eaten my way across Mexico and Central America and I confidently state that Castillos ranks up there with the best. They do the basics with nuance and depth of flavor that your average chain doesn't even dream about. You can feel the honest Mom and Pop vibes in the classic and newer dining rooms. I would choose this over all the new fancy "Mexican" places in SoCal every time.
Dennis W — Google review
First, let me start. Chris is a great waiter. Ask for him, and he took care of business . The food is spot on. The place was packed, but food came out fast. Several people checked on us and removed plates. Overall, it was a great place, only paid roughly $20 a person and got lots of food. Chips and salsa fresh and Horchata was good, too. We got Sopes and chilaquiles. Great value in California for sure. So, if you are in Fresno and want great Mexican food, stop by.
Harold W — Google review
Absolutely wonderful, authentic Mexican food. Casual atmosphere. Reasonable pricing. One of the best chile verde burritos I've ever had. Will visit again and again.
April F — Google review
I asked people for Mexican food recommendations and heard of this place from two different people, so I decided to give it a shot. When I walked into the restaurant there were quite a few people and everyone seemed to be having a nice time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant smelled nice from the food. As far as the food, I think it depends on what you order. The asada burrito was average and unimpressive. Didn’t care for lettuce in the burrito and would have preferred the guacamole and sour cream on the inside. The chile verde quesadilla was very delicious. Apparently it’s one of their popular items. On a separate note, I find it strange they close at 5PM. I feel like they are missing out on a lot of business closing so early. Thankfully though they do not force everyone out at 5 and let people enjoy their meal.

Had stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. Was seated promptly. The waitress got our drinks within just a couple minutes and our food was also out quickly! The best part -- the food was delicious! We had an appetizer- been dip with chorizo and chimichangas and our daughter had a bean burrito, beans and rice. We had a couple special requests and everything was done to a T! The portions were very generous. We hadnt had breakfast that morning and still had half a plate each to bring home because we were full. The prices are also extremely reasonable. Other Mexican restaurants we've been to were definitely not as good and much more expensive! This place is VERY good! I'd easily say the BEST in Fresno! Will definitely be back!

AJ's Armenian Cuisine is a family-owned restaurant located in a strip mall, offering unpretentious yet delicious Armenian specialties such as grilled kabobs and babaganoush. Since its opening in 2007, this hidden gem has become a local favorite, known for its warm pita bread, grilled vegetables, hummus, and rice pilaf. The diverse menu includes appetizers like hummus, baba ghanoush, lepnie (kefir cheese), and olives.
The food is always good. You will not be disappointed. It’s small inside and popular with locals- it may take a bit before you get to order- be patient and nice! It’s so worth it! The staff are warm, friendly and attentive. The restaurant is quaint, not fancy. You’ll likely eat more than you plan to because it is so good. Pictured are the chicken kebab- very juicy and tender, bulgar, and the most delicious grilled veggies! The Armenian beer is good!

AJ’s is a popular restaurant serving authentic Armenian cuisine—at a very reasonable price. When we visited, Keyma was the dinner special. I'm not a fan of raw ground beef but it was nice to see it on the menu. We enjoyed the grape leaves and hummus with pita for an appetizer. This was followed by the mini Lahmajuns and Trout. The Trout was exceptionally flavorful and a large portion, along with pilaf and roasted vegetables. Highly recommend for an evening out, but make a reservation! As mentioned, it is a popular restaurant.

Solid middle of the ground Armenian restaurant. Service was okay. They were busy, but there was a good amount of time between getting drinks, orders, refills...etc. But they were all very nice. Food was okay. I had Lula Kabob with Rice Pilaf and Veggies. The Lula was nicely seasoned. I enjoyed it, as well as the veggies. The Pilaf was a bit mushy/sticky and bland. Two friends had Chicken Kabob plates. The Chicken looked very good. Interestingly enough, one plate of chicken was spicy. A lot spicier than the other. I'm not sure how that happened. For a neighborhood restaurant, it's nice to have nearby.

Excellent service! Our pizzas were made with love and they did not skimp on the toppings! The manager was also extremely friendly and professional, ensuring we had just what we needed and informing us she was available as needed. AVOID THIS PLACE Never heard of this place or been to one before but it's basically a Pizza Subway aaand, a What did I just walk into? This place is dirty and unkept. (See pics, it's disgusting) Needs to be reported and inspected because this is the dirtiest restaurant I've been to in years. The staff is not knowledgeable and helpless with no type of direction or leadership at all. Pizza and Garlic Bread had the burnt shavings of previous pizzas cooked in the oven. I was there for 30 minutes AFTER telling them I wanted a refund on my entire order, why? Apparently, the GM of this location works sporadic hours starting Wednesday and definitely not weekends. Also, the District Manager and direct Supervisor refuse to give out contact info for disputes/complaints because Reasons? No contact info on the website outside of a feedback form that goes directly to the cowards that run this clown show. Apparently the Corporation is Akash Management and I'll be reaching out to them on Monday.. *** Hi Owner of business, I'd be more than happy to discuss, however I was told that you, your DM and RMs to not take phone calls so how would you like to discuss?***

There’s like 5 pieces of chicken so expensive. You can get better bigger and cheaper else where. Skimp on the toppings heavily. The lady was nice but I felt bad for her as it was getting busy and she was working all by herself self. Thought I’d give it another try as it was good last time but not anymore.

Tonight the bathrooms were atrocious. I won’t even bother to explain in detail the state of the toilet itself. It was very obvious that it had not had attention in quite some time. I turned and walked out and I’m praying that the kitchen doesn’t look anything like that.

It's been more than three weeks since I made this post, they never listened to me about it, they never gave me my refund for the bad pizzas they gave me. I went to the location and the woman said she had to talk to the manager so they could give me my refund. They never called me and my refund never arrived. And here below she left the two pizzas that they gave me in bad condition so that you can see that I do have proof. Hello, I wanted to report what my experience had been buying pizzas here at this location. First of all, it was poor service. I told the woman to put extra cheese on top and she hardly did anything, and the worst thing about this was that at the same time After they delivered the pizzas to me, they gave them burnt and all dirty.
Mary C — Google review
I ordered a thin crust pizza, but when it came out, I pointed it out to the general manager that this was a thick crust. He proceeded to explain to me that the dough was only rising at the edges. I took it home and realized that it definitely was not thin crustI called the store and explained that they had definitely given me the wrong crust. The manager first offers me a replacement on my next visit, but then speaks to the general manager and tells me that since the crust came this way, there was nothing they could do. Very poor customer service. Especially to someone who’s been such a loyal customer.
Aruna S — Google review
So I've only been to this place twice. I would give my first visit 4 stars and my second visit 2 stars. First visit we had a couple of really great pies/pizzas; second visit, not nearly as good. I've included pics of our first two pies. They were great. Was two gals that put them together. We ordered the thin crust. Really loved them. The only real issue I had was with the assembly area looking unsanitary. Second visit I ordered takeout of the the Veggie Pesto pizza on ta think crust. It was assembled by two guys.Yikes! The crust wasnt nearly as thin, it was overcooked, AND THEY FORGOT TO PUT THE PESTO SAUCE ON. Also no paper under the pizza like the first order. Big disappointment. They can be thankful I didnt take a pic of it. Oh to be fair, the gal asked me if it looked OK (I suspect maybe she thought it didnt). Me without glasses and practically blind in one eye due to cataract said yeah. When I got it home my wife chastised me and showed me how deficient it was. All I had to do is look at the pics of the first two we got to realize how right she was.

Best gluten free pizza in Fresno! It's amazing👏👏👏🥰😋😋😋 Custom pizza, with various ingredients, you can choose the crust (tradicional, gluten free and cauliflower), the cheese, sauce, vegetables such as pineapple, bell pepper, olives, jalapeno, banana pepper, onion, mushrooms, etc ... and protein (chicken, spicy chicken, meatballs or salamis). bbq sauces, olive oil, ranch. A multitude of choices! The cookies are delicious. The service is great! The place is clean. The price is good. Lunchtime is a perfect time to eat there. 😆👍

Bella Pasta Trattoria Italiana is a charming gem that captures the essence of Italy with its vibrant decor adorned with vintage Italian prints. This cozy, intimate eatery has been delighting patrons since 1991, serving up an array of classic Italian dishes made from fresh ingredients. The menu boasts a tempting selection of pizzas and pastas, all delivered by a friendly and attentive staff who ensure every dining experience is memorable.
We really enjoyed this place, my dinner was excellent, I had the Pollo alla Parmigiano. My pasta was cooked perfect, the chicken was so tender, and I loved the sauce with everything in the right balance. We also bought a cake for our group's special occasion, and they received it early (but not too early as they open at 5), refrigerated it, and served it. Service was outstanding, and we had a great waiter who followed all the instructions we threw at him. The only issue was the lack of a kids menu, I only saw one other family with kids, who hopefully had a easier time than us, as the spaghetti didn't go over that well, I'm not sure why, which caused some problems for us. The restaurant was packed, and parking lot is crowded, but in Fresno, you're used to walking to and from your car. Overall, our group had a great time. 👍

Came here to celebrate my father-in-law’s birthday with the family, and everything from start to finish was spot on. We kicked things off with the Bruschetta and Meatballs, and both were absolutely packed with flavor. My wife had the Sriracha Chili Chicken—so good! I went with the Ribeye steak, which was cooked perfectly and tasted extraordinary. We also ordered the Chicken Alfredo, which was rich and creamy, and their weekly special, the Chile Verde Alfredo—honestly, that dish was out of this world and a must-try. Customer service was top-notch; the staff kept our drinks full and made sure we had everything we needed right away. To wrap it up, we shared the Crème Brûlée and Tiramisu, and both were the perfect sweet ending to a great meal. Highly recommend this spot for great food and an even better experience.

Extremely slow service, subpar food. Even basic things were done poorly, like watery tomato sauce or topping everything with cold unmelted cheese. Plenty of better Italian American places in Fresno, save your money and go to one of them instead.

This place is legit authentic tasty Italian food a must try, 4 stars on the food only today because the chicken parm was a bit overcooked and leaned to the dry side. Lasagna sauce is amazing and those raviolis good stuff!

My good Lord keep me away from such a food! Please take Italy away from everything! I had a charcuterie; "mozzarella" (poor pizza cheese), dry ham (first slice you should waste it if it's dry like hell!), capocollo and salami (omg, low low quality). Piccatina di pollo? NOBODY in Italy mix pollo and "pasta" ( overcooked is a compliment!) You should use only the lemon juice not a lemon sliced in the dish! Wine was ok Do not waste your money; nothing is italian ok n this place. Go to Parma restaurant instead that is 20 feet on the left!

Golden Restaurant is a Chinese eatery in Fresno that offers popular dishes like dumplings, fried rice, and chow mein. The restaurant has a bright and inviting atmosphere with both booth and table seating options available. With a history of 60 years in the community, Golden has been a favorite spot for many locals. It has gained a reputation for consistently delivering excellent food and service. Customers appreciate the variety of dishes offered, such as the delicious pineapple chicken.
The dishes here are slightly different than the other places we are used to. The food is more bland and oily but tasted fine. The sauce is light so it’s more on the healthier side. Plenty of parking in the lot and on the road. Waitresses were friendly providing great service.
Doua M — Google review
My first impression when entering was quiet and clean, the server who took my order was very friendly. I'll be honest I found the pan fried noodles and fried rice to be underwhelming it was tossed together very lazily and not even crispy on the noodles, the top vegetables were composed of what I can assume was canned or frozen vegetables barely cooked with very little seasoning.

The sign that says ‘we don’t cook with lard or animal fat’ is the only good news for vegetarians at this restaurant. The king pai tofu was extremely oily with a few vegetables that were barely there. It also ran a little sweet. I did not dare eat the crackling rice soup since I was not really convinced it wax made with vegetable broth. My husband loved his duck though .
ANURADHA G — Google review
We got the special combination plate, and was very happy with it. The fried shrimp was perfectly crispy and not oily. Chow mein was also really good and the beef and broccoli was great too. The beef had a great flavor and was tender and juicy. The service was in point, I only had water but my cup was never empty for longer than what felt like seconds. Bathroom was clean, a victim of some vandals at worst. Decor was nice enough with some classic rock for ambience.

Customers have praised the freshness and tastiness of the food, including options for those who prefer cooked dishes over raw fish. The atmosphere was nothing special, but clean and easy to navigate, a little crowded for lunch on Saturday. But still 5 stars! All in all, great job looking forward to coming back!

Butterfish is hands down one of the best poke spots in Fresno! The ingredients were fresh, the portions are generous, and the flavors are spot-on. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The customer service is also top-notch, friendly, fast, and always happy to help with suggestions. Highly recommend!

Butterfish is hands-down my go-to spot for fresh, flavorful, and beautifully crafted Poké bowls. The ingredients are always top quality — super fresh fish, perfectly seasoned rice, and a wide variety of mix-ins and toppings that let you customize your bowl just how you like it. The staff is friendly, fast, and clearly takes pride in what they serve. Every time I go, it’s consistently delicious. Whether you’re new to Poké or a seasoned fan, Butterfish nails it. Highly recommend if you’re craving something healthy, satisfying, and packed with flavor!

The staff is always very friendly (welcoming you in and making small talk) and kind. Wait can get a little long during dinner and lunch hours but quality is always good. Their house drinks are a must-try, I personally like the pineapple juice! It has pulp in it.

Restaurant
Fasika Ethiopian Restaurant offers a warm and intimate dining experience, serving traditional East African cuisine. The menu features a variety of flavorful dishes such as sambusa, fosalia, and veggie plates. While the food is described as amazing and the service commendable, there may be a downside of long wait times due to the popularity of the restaurant. The owner is known for adding to the overall dining experience with his humor.
The food here was nothing short of amazing. Every dish served was a delightful experience, tantalizing our taste buds with each bite. The service too was commendable. The staff was not only super helpful but also impressively knowledgeable, adding to the overall dining experience. However, there was a noticeable downside - the long wait. Despite the evident popularity of the place, indicated by the large number of customers, there seemed to be only two staff members managing the floor. As a result, we ended up waiting almost 75 minutes for our food. While this was a bit of a dampener, the wait turned out to be totally worth it, thanks to the exceptional quality of the food. The flavors and presentation were so remarkable that I’d definitely return, hoping for a quicker service next time!

We stopped here on our way from LA to Yosemite. Do glad we found this gem! We were in for lunch, and our server was also our chef and busboy. He was running the place all on his own that lunch hour, and he did a spectacular job. Everything was delicious. It was actually my parents' first time eating Ethiopian food, and they loved it. We ordered the platter to share between 4 of us and had plenty left over. Would highly recommend this place!!

This was my first time ever eating Ethiopian food and I must say that I loved it! The Kenyan beef I had was tender, juicy, and flavorful. It mixed well and tasted great along with the peppers and onions it was grilled with. The Injera itself tasted great and accented the rest of the food very well. The owner of the restaurant was very nice and friendly. The service was a little slow, however this was forgivable considering that it appeared to be a two man operation.

If you are looking for a different dining experience for yourself or for the whole family this is definitely a go to place. Something out of the normal. Something unique and very different in flavor. Ethiopian food and culture is so amazing. They have music videos from their culture playing on projector so you can watch and listen.. very clean bathrooms, friendly staff. My family and I overall enjoyed our experience and definitely will be coming back.

Absolutely delicious. We will definitely go back. We also ordered through Groupon. Great deal. We recommend the 4 vegetarian dish, comes with unleavened bread to share plates. Great experience.

Ok where do I start , 1st of all when I called and placed my order they were out of the Ndengu, Biriganya and more. I ordered the Nyama Chama @ $21.95 the Kuku Chama @ $21.95 both of these dishes were very small portions dry and tough as if they used dried meats to prepare it and I also order 4 of the vegetarian entree's which were not worth the money and not what I ordered. I was given a full to go plate of Injera the spongy sour Flatbread with nothing to eat it with since I didn't get what I ordered. When I placed my order over the phone I was told that it would be ready in 45min so I timed it so I could get there 15min early 4:30 pm and at 4:45 pm it should have been ready, But it was 5:30 pm when I finally got my order, he brought the food out to my vehicle the Blue Chevrolet Avalanche, I mention the vehicle so that if the guy reads this maybe he'll remember me since I decided not to call or go back and complain. Instead I figured that I'd give an honest review. The 2 bags he brought out were tightly packed two bags tied in Knotts so I didn't check my order before paying and leaving, instead I just counted the plates which were 6 as it should've been. So whomever reads this review don't waste your money on this place it's no where worth the money and you will be completely dissatisfied period......

Been wanting to try Ethiopian food since forever and finally got the chance to try it, and it was one of the best food I've ever had! We are definitely going back to this place! We got the meat and veggie plate The 3 Meats we got were #11, #20 and #25 on a separate plate For the veggies we got #36, #7,#31, #6, #5, and #3 (use photo from left to right for reference ) And some Sambusa which are the best !!!

They were understaffed, but the owner was hilarious, very personable, and every stop at our table left us laughing! The food came out in good quantity and was overall absolutely amazing. The reason for removing one star was the wait. Expect to be here 2-3 hours. However, everything was wonderfully seasoned and delicious!

Diana's Restaurant is a delightful gem that offers a blend of Persian, Armenian, and Mediterranean cuisine in a cozy and inviting setting. The atmosphere is warm and homey, making it the perfect spot for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings. Guests rave about the exceptional service provided by the friendly staff, who treat everyone like family. Even during busy times like Thanksgiving, Diana's goes above and beyond to accommodate guests with last-minute requests.
Even though I had severe nasal congestion, the food tasted amazing. I'll definitely be back once I'm feeling better. The restaurant is a family owned business and it's nothing but family working there. Everyone was very nice, in particular our waitress, very kind, well mannered and sweet. The ambiance is wonderful too, beautiful decorations along with authentic Persian music playing in the background.

I'm so glad to have found this place. The staff were very friendly. I had the salmon kebab. I usually have a hard time finding good salmon in the US, but this was not only large proportions, but also cooked to perfection. Prices are better than most other Persian restaurants I've been to, without sacrificing quality. I also recommend the Turkish coffee. I'll be back
Daniel L — Google review
Great ambiance and delicious food. Waitress was very courteous and always came by the table to see if we needed anything more. The Persian ice cream with pistachios, cardamom, and rose water was really good. The rose water wasn't over powering the ice cream at all. Can't wait to be back to try their Turkish coffee.

Wow the owner ended up closing early on Thanksgiving but we had already drove to the restaurant. We called wondering if anyone was still there. They opened the restaurant back up just for us including our large party and we enjoyed a wonderful last minute Thanksgiving meal. We felt like and were treated like royalty. The food was fresh and tasted amazing. We will continue to give this restaurant our business and recommendations for years to come!

Simply amazing! Nice, cozy atmosphere. Top notch staff. Fast service. Great prices, I left very full. To top it all off, the food was seriously delicious. I am going to end up eating here once a week probably. A follow up to my previous review: Hold on tight everyone, this is going to be a lengthy review. I went in by myself tonight 2/24/2018. It is a small, clean, cozy place, very quiet (in a good way) and beautifully decorated. I was immediately greeted upon entering, and my waiter was superb throughout the entire meal. Seriously top notch customer service. The (Persian) Iced tea I got to drink was amazing! I quickly went through several glasses of it, and couldn't get enough because it was so good. I had the Sarma for an appetizer. It was tender, juicy, hearty and beautifully seasoned. I almost immediately asked for another order to go, so that I could enjoy some more at home later. I had the lamb shank for an entree. When they brought it out, I had to stop everything that I was doing and just immerse myself into it's wonderful aroma. THIS, is spices done at an out of this world level. It was cooked to absolute perfection. Fall off the bone tender, and juicy, without being so done that it turned to mush. It had an amazing texture, and just as the smell led me to believe, the flavor was out of this world. I have cooked my fair share of lamb shank myself, as well as eaten it from various places around the world... All of those paled in comparison to this. The rice pilaf that accompanied the meal was terrific as well, it really brought the whole dish together (not that this lamb needed anything to help it). After my meal was finished, I had to ask for a to-go bag, as the portion was my kind of size (I LOVE having leftovers). You definitely will not leave here hungry. Before I left, I had the pleasure of having a nice little conversation with the owner of the restaurant. Such a wonderful/beautiful woman. I can REALLY tell that she is extremely passionate about what she does, and it really shows. I believe that passion and love is what makes food great above all else, and she has definitely poured her heart and soul into this place. She even treated me to some of their own in house made ice cream. I was super full, but couldn't say no to an offer like that. The ice cream was light, and refreshing without being overly sweet. The flavors of pistachio, saffron and rose blended together perfectly. I have never had anything like it before. I will 100% be back again, and bring some friends and family with me next time.

Absolutely recommend this place. Nice and cozy place with delicious food. I was there for the dinner and like the taste of Persian food that they served. Very kind and caring owner. She spend enough time to ask question about the taste and quality of the food. She offered free desert due to my first visit of their restaurant and Fresno area.

First time here. Walked in to place a to go order and the food was ready in 15 minutes. The person working the front was so polite and helpful in picking what to eat. Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar is a casual dining chain that offers a relaxed lodge-chic atmosphere and a diverse menu featuring global comfort food. The restaurant caters to vegans with an array of options, including stir-fries, pot roast, pastas, and various plant-based dishes. Notably, they provide dog-friendly outdoor seating with water bowls and treats for furry companions. Additionally, the establishment supports local animal shelters by donating proceeds from their dog menu items.
We were seated at a table next to the back door. I asked for a booth and the girls with green eyes said that the table has no server. ????. Anyways I said it was fine but that table has the worst air draft ever. So we asked our waiter if we could move to the booth with no server and he said yes. Lovely guy. They have a cozy fireplace in the very back. Overall it was very nice, the food was delicious and I will be coming back.

🌟 Lazy Dog Restaurant — A Flavorful Experience Worth Every Bite If you’re looking for a place that serves comfort food with a gourmet twist, Lazy Dog Restaurant definitely delivers! From the moment I sat down, I knew I was in for a treat. Their menu is packed with mouthwatering appetizers, and I couldn’t resist trying a few. The Bang Bang Shrimp 🍤 instantly stole the show — perfectly crispy, lightly tossed in a creamy, spicy sauce that had just the right amount of kick. It’s the kind of dish you could easily order two of and still want more! For my entrée, I chose the Sea Bass, and it was nothing short of amazing. The fish was tender, buttery, and cooked to perfection — every bite just melted in my mouth. It was beautifully paired with creamy cauliflower mash and roasted vegetables, which added a comforting and balanced touch to the meal. The flavors were fresh, vibrant, and satisfying without being heavy. Lazy Dog truly impressed me with its cozy atmosphere, attentive service, and incredible food. Whether you’re stopping in for appetizers with friends or a full dinner, this spot hits the mark. I’ll definitely be back — and next time, I’m ordering the Bang Bang Shrimp again! 😍

I love this place. When you’re sitting in the bar area and look up it gives rustic with the wood and metal. The food always fresh and the drinks from the bar are delicious and interesting. I just had the lemon cello, basil spritz, and it was refreshing and tasted like summer. Then I had the elderflower lemonade spritz, very unique and well worth trying. I got the spring pea hummus, which is new on their menu and a food I’ve never had. They have a cauliflower ceviche that I wanna try next time. Then I had to get the bacon candy because she is my go to appetizer every time. The male bartender greeted me with a smile, and he was very friendly and helpful picking delicious food and drink drinks. The manager came by to see if I was enjoying everything, That made me feel special. All the staff is friendly and they seem to really enjoy their jobs. It makes me want to come back. I will

I really wanted to love this restaurant. The menu looks amazing. The experience wasn't bad, but it could have been so much better. The Poblano Pork looked great, the meat was tender but bland but luckily the sauce was tasty. Sadly, the blue corn tamale was bland also and none of it was to temperature. The Korean Ribeye Bibimbap was very good but also not to temp. Honey Feta appetizer was warm and a good size. More actual feta in the dip would help this dish. The biggest disappointment was they were out of the house white wine on the happy hour menu. It was still happy hour and they were not busy, but they were out. I asked if they would substitute another white wine for the happy hour price and the manager said no. I was really shocked that when you're out of a product you refuse to substitute. The server was great but management, hmmm. Not a good feeling about that call. If food temp and customer care can't be handled, I'll not be bringing the hospital staff over for holiday dinner or my niece & crew for engagement lunch. Sorry Lazy Dog, y'all have a great look and facility, don't let your attention to detail and hospitality slide. There are tons of great venues in the area willing and able to take your business.

Nice atmosphere, very good service during the busy hours. Food is somewhat standard American cuisine and it tastes good, they have variety of items. We have been there 2 times already. First time I had a burger with blue cheese which was a 10/10 and second time had a meatball(new addition to their menu) which was ok. We liked the overall atmosphere and definitely will be visiting again for casual dining nights. Ao many cocktails variety as well and they taste good.

The food itself is delicious! Got the yellow curry and beef/broccoli with a side of rice. The portion sizes are generous. Food did not take a long time to come out. Customer service was adequate. Atmosphere in restaurant was a bit quiet, I wished they were playing some background music so the table conversations can be more private. Overall, great experience though!

They were able to seat us, a party of 8, right away. Appetizers were fantastic and authentic. I personally love the papaya (Lao style). Service was fantastic. My girls loved the Khaopiek. Khaosoi was very satisfactory. Chicken wing, spring rolls and deep fried beef were really good. I was only able to capture one photo because the food was really good.

Quaint restaurant that looks small, but you don't feel cramped. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was okay. We ordered Spring Rolls, Calamari, Lao Sausage, Sticky Rie, Green Curry, Pad Thai with Seafood and Fried Bananas with Vanilla Ice Cream. Nothing really stood out or outshined anything else. The food looked great, but it just lacked flavor. The one thing that looked great but was a disappointment was th Calamari. The Calamari was overcooked and appeared to come out of a frozen package. Because everyone was so friendly and allowed us to sit and talk after we were finished, I would return and try some other dishes.

I come here whenever I crave Thai food, and it never disappoints! The people working here are always so nice! And the food is delicious 🙌🏽 I love their green curry and sticky rice. I also really like that they’re open throughout the day and don’t close for 2 hours in the middle. Many times I go eat at 3pm and many Thai places are closed. I’ll go across town for this place! Spicy, hot, and delicious!

Took a little pit stop on our way to Sacramento and stumbled upon this place. Our server was a very nice, informative and a quirky gentleman. He was a wonderful personality but after we received our food he didn’t come back for a while, even when we were ready to pay we had to wave down another employee to get him to come back. The food: The Pad Thai was solid. I ordered a 9 (spice levels go from 1-10) and someone delivered my food and said it was a 10… I took it anyways and it still wasn’t as spicy as I hoped for. We also ordered an appetizer but one person got their entree before we got the appetizer. All our food came out at different times. Everyone enjoyed their food but we all have had better back home in Florida. T’was my first time having a beer I believe from Thailand and we both enjoyed it! Bathroom: Poor architectural design. I thought it was odd I walked through the server station as they were working / bagging to-go food to get to the bathroom. Single Bathroom didn’t look like it was kept up periodically throughout the shift. Overall, cool place (seating area), nice staff with good chemistry. Food 4 out of 5 depending on what you get.

Visited Fresno for the first time this weekend. Stopped at this brewery on Sunday before we headed out of town. Good beer, cool outside area, appears to be located just a block from the minor league baseball stadium. Staff was friendly, bathrooms were clean, had plenty of games for the kids, and the beer was delicious. They were hosting a taco food truck and that was delicious as well. The manager kicked out an entire table because we bought a six pack and drank it at our table. They never said anything about not consuming it, there were no signs, and the server never told any of us it was not permissable to consume it. The manager would not even consider the fact that his server made the mistake. Very rude and horribly inconsiderate. The group was not rowdy at all and everyone was providing business by purchasing drinks for themselves as well. Very disappointed with the experience and the manager.

With an impressive 4.5-star rating from 275 Yelp reviews, this establishment offers a wide range of delectable dishes such as chicken tikka, garlic naan, mango lassi, chicken curry, and basmati rice.
👌😊 The BESTEST Indian Restaurant and Store in the town. Run by absolutely amazing people. My family and I shopping at this store for over a decade now and there’s never been a single occasion they disappoint us. Very courteous, fair to the business, receipts are transparent, extremely accommodating, listens to feedback and suggestions, above all relates to the customers and care about them. Meanwhile, we’ve constantly visited other stores in the town for things that are not available at this store and every store has its nuances. None of them able to maintain such a goodwill as this store. I applaud them for consistency and making me their fan! 👏😊 Best Wishes! 🪷

First all the chicken dish, they say it’s their most popular dish. I agree, tender chicken, tasty sauce, and plenty of rice to sop it all up. Samosas were big for the price, taste was ok, it had bit of tang to it, were missing peas that add that touch to samosa. Naan was good, it was a bit on the crunchy side, could have used some ghee or even butter to it. Curry was out of the world, would try other curries for sure.

The food is flavorful, mango lasi is delicious. Fish pakora and butter chicken have been my favorite so far. Customer service from the kitchen is alright they're not rude just kinda whatever. If I'm not mistaken the owner is usually in the store and he's is more customer service.

Nice Indian grocery store with a restaurant and snack shop at the end. The people there were all nice. The food was good but could use a bit more spice. You may want to order things spicy. Their mango lassi and chai were wonderful.

3 stars because I could barely stomach the smell and taste of the goat curry I ordered. I always get goat curry at any Indian restaurant I go to but this dish was too intense for me. Samosa was decent. They also included a little side marinade that had chickpeas and onions...now that I enjoyed and it helped with the taste of the goat.

The house special and New Orleans Cajun sauces are particularly addictive, adding an extra layer of flavor to the dishes.
We had a tournament in Fresno @ Granite Park this weekend and my son his girlfriend and myself where craving a seafood boil, I'm glad we made this decision so delicious, Mussels where cooked perfectly, lobster tails had so much flavor I felt like I was eating at the beach at every bite!! Our choice was the medium house sauce perfect! Try the fried calamari I bet you'll love them. I will definitely return

Alright, alright, I'm going to be honest here. We ordered the combo#2 lobster, muscles, and shrimp. And chicken wings and fried catfish. First things first, and most important. Everything tastes fresh, for sure. Nothing tastes frozen or dead for too long. On the topic of tastes. The garlic butter was probably the best choice if you want something that isn't too overpowering and something for kids/toddlers. The Cajun mix isn't too bad, but it's not anything special, just saying. But the yum yum sauce is phenomenal, highly recommended 👌 The catfish was great, perfectly fried and battered. The fired will go were decent, nothing crazy. Also, the waitress Jocelyn (hopefully I spelled that right) was amazing! Great service because of just her. I get it 1 more star.

Good experience. I ordered combo #1 & chose mussels, clams, & shrimp with the head on with medium spice & the house special sauce. The bag came out hot & super quick. They do not skimp on the seasonings. Lots of flavor! $60 for approx 3 lbs of seafood was well worth it. Would recommend coming out and trying it. Shoutout to our server Tina! She was so sweet and super attentive & kept our drinks filled.

I was so excited to come here and my expectations were met! My kids and I all ate for the $50 deal, where you get a big bag of seafood (you choose 3 items- we got crab legs, shrimp, and crawdads. It also comes with corn and potatoes) we chose medium seasoning and the house special (all seasoning combined) and IT WAS FABULOUS! The queen of England could've been sitting next to me and I woulda still been a mess with my gloves and big cracking my crab legs. I was in seafood heaven! I cannot wait to go back to this place and eat here again!

The customer service was Good. We both loved the Clam Chowder Soup. It was Awesome. I ordered a Grilled Chicken Salad. It was good. I also ordered a catfish sandwich. I had my reserves about it. I am from the deep south where we catch and eat catfish regularly. It did not taste like catfish but tasted like tilapia. Catfish has a dirty taste to it because they dwell in fresh water. My salad compensated for the fish sandwich not tasting like catfish. My girlfriend ordered crawfish and steamed oysters which she seemed to have enjoyed very much. I ordered an Arnold Palmer to drink which tasted nothing like an Arnold Palmer so I changed it to a Pepsi. The overall atmosphere and design of the dining environment is great. I think the theme is relevant to the food being served.

Since I was first introduced to this place a few months ago, I’ve been back to order take out 5 times now. I love how friendly the staff are in guiding us with their recommendations and for accommodating my spicy order. I’ve found the right range — House Special/Cajun, level 4 with added two levels on top of that. In term of sauces, we’ve tried all four and my two favorites are the House Special and the New Orlean Cajun. The sauces are so so addicting and the flavors are consistent. We’ve done combo 3, 2 and 1 and mixing and matching if we wanted something else extra on the the side (the single item bag). Highly recommend this place, especially Monday night.

Steak house
Chophouse restaurant
Cool Hand Luke's Steakhouse is a local chophouse chain with an Old West saloon vibe, offering a menu of steaks, seafood, and ribs. The restaurant has an American steakhouse cuisine and is moderately priced. Located in Clovis, CA, the establishment has received positive reviews for its food, service, value, and atmosphere. Customers have praised the delicious shrimp appetizers and prime rib steak.
My Husband and I celebrated our 5th year anniversary. First time here and all was great! Arrived early and seated right away. Fast service and more importantly delicious Food. Definitely plan on coming back!

One of the great steakhouses in Clovis, their meat is perfectly done and the atmosphere is really great. I think their bread pudding is the best in town so definitely give it a try and they also accommodate larger parties in their little enclosed spaces so perfect for celebrations.

This was my first time dining at Cool Hand Luke's and it was not disappointing. I had the prime rib with a salad and green beans. The prime rib was very good although it could have been a little more flavorful. The green beans were very flavorful, they had a sauce of some sort on them and I do believe I detected soy sauce as one of the ingredients. Different but tasty. The server was excellent as she was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu Overall it was a good experience although I feel the prime rib was a little overpriced for what you get as I got the small portion and it was $37 I believe. I would eat here again

The only thing that was tasty was the bread. The filet mignon is incredibly salty. Cob salad with terrible meat and nasty bacon. Zero service. We waited 45 minutes for our order. The place stinks. The tables are sticky. Public toilets are cleaner than here

This was our second trip here and a completely different experience from the first time. We were seated right away. It took about 5 minutes to get menus. Then another 5 minutes for our drinks. After we ordered our food, we received a basket of warm bread which was really hard. We both ordered New York steaks, and neither one was cooked to order. Both were undercooked, so we had to send them back. Then they were tough. Overall, we were really disappointed in the entire visit. The one bright spot was that we ordered and shared the bread pudding, which was absolutely delicious! However, the good did not outweigh the bad. One more thing to add. The place was really cold.

Absolutely awful experience – never coming back. We went to Cool Hand Luke’s to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it ended up being one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. Our server, Monse, handed my daughter a burning hot plate with no warning at all. My daughter screamed, “It’s hot!” with tears in her eyes and said she got burned. Monse saw it, heard it, and didn’t say a word. No apology, no concern, no “Are you okay?”—nothing. She never came back to check on us or offer help. Unacceptable. Then my husband ordered the soup, and Monse didn’t even tell us what it was. Turns out it was chicken pot pie soup—thankfully—not shrimp, because he’s allergic. But what if it had been shrimp? She didn’t ask about allergies, didn’t mention the soup of the day—just dropped it off and walked away. Totally careless and dangerous. The restaurant was dirty, the service was rude and cold, and to top it off, Monse was noticeably much friendlier to the white customers behind us. She smiled, chatted, and checked on them often, while ignoring us and other diverse tables. The difference in treatment was obvious and upsetting. Not once did she ask if we were celebrating anything—even though we clearly said it was a birthday dinner. This place has no business claiming to offer hospitality. Save your money and go somewhere that actually cares about its customers.!!! Please 🙏

It's been a minute since we've come here. We were not fans of how it was operated before. Im leaving this review because we had a great time, and the food was delicious. Just a heads up, it's kinda dark in there, so if older, you may need to use phone light to see. We started off with shrimp appetizers. So delicious. They gave us bread and beans as well. I got the full rack ribs and fries. Meat melts off the bones. So it was mess free. The others had the prime rib and more ribs. Everything was delicious. The waiter showed up at perfect times. We will for sure be back. The service is way better and food was hot. Drinks stayed full. If like us, we had a problem a few years ago. I highly suggest giving them another chance.

The food was pretty good and good-sized portions. Appetizers showed up before drinks, which is odd and dumb. Little pricey for the quality, but the facility has a cool old-time theme. Also, I have never seen a cob salad without hardboiled eggs.

Located in the Pavilion West Shopping Center, Fresno Breakfast House is a charming eatery known for its homestyle breakfast offerings and mural-filled space. The restaurant serves up generous portions of classic breakfast dishes such as eggs benedict, omelets, Belgian waffles, homemade pancakes, and crepes with a choice of sweet or savory toppings. Guests can complement their meal with a variety of beverages including coffee, tea, and fresh orange juice.
I recently visited Fresno Breakfast House for brunch, and I was thoroughly impressed! The food was absolutely delicious, offering a delightful variety of options. The service was exceptional, making the experience even more enjoyable. What stood out the most was the cozy atmosphere, beautifully infused with natural elements that created a warm and inviting space. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy a lovely brunch!

This was our first time having breakfast and it hit the spot. I was craving pancakes and theirs are perfect. They have a combo with two eggs with sausage or bacon. They offer a lighter version with one egg and one link of sausage or piece of bacon. I opted for sausage since I had bacon in my Breakfast Mary (their version of a bloody mary) I had the amped up version of a mimosa with vodka, called a Sunrise. I was feeling pretty good and full by the time we left to say the least.

I was in town briefly and had a lovely breakfast here! The atmosphere was so cute, from the indoor decor to the outdoor fountain. It felt very European and my party loved it. I had the light Western omelet, which came with toast and hash browns, and it was still so very filling that I could not finish it. I can't imagine getting the larger serving! The others in my group had banana crepes and chocolate chip pancakes and both were also devoured. The service was lovely. We were seated as soon as we arrived and offered beverages right away. Everything was served in a timely manner and we were checked on multiple times.

Had a great breakfast at Fresno Breakfast House. The staff was friendly and provided prompt service, which set a great tone for the meal. I ordered a Bloody Mary, Chicken Fried Steak with eggs, hashbrowns, and biscuits and gravy, everything was flavorful and the portion size was generous. My fiancée had turkey sausage and eggs with cottage cheese, along with biscuits and gravy, and she really enjoyed her meal as well. Solid spot for a hearty breakfast with good service!

Four of us dined on a Friday morning. Great food, ambiance and service. Very open and airy with plenty of tables. I will definitely go here again. Live guitar music was playing, nice touch.

I give this place a 10 out of 10! The service was amazing. The food was even better, and don’t get me started on their coffee! I am absolutely impressed. I had the chicken enchilada omelette with a side of buttermilk pancakes. The flavor of everything together was so yummy. My husband had French toast. The slices were super thick and full of flavor. If you’re looking for a really good breakfast place, I highly recommend trying them!

First visit and definitely making a Friday planned visit. The Interior & exterior were very appealing & clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast with great acoustical music in the background by Mr. Freeman. Rose (server) was very nice with a pretty smile.

I was in town for Labor day weekend, so my friends told me about Lucy's Lounge. We decided to go out on Saturday, to my surprise the food, music was amazing. It is a very inviting, friendly place. Most importantly the service was beyond amazing, our server was Lucy and she keep the drinks coming and is very friendly and her personality is top notch. By the time we were heading out she even wished me safe travels back home. Because of her service alone I will definitely beck back in February when I'm in town again to say hi to her and enjoy the atmosphere.

I wished I would've asked the name of the bartender I seen disrespect a customer last night. Poor girl didn't even hear it, but I DID. And I let her know. That rude ungrateful bartender had the nerve to snark "THANKS FOR THE TIP" as she walked away. But guess who looked like a clown when she told him that SHE DID TIP. He did apologize for being such a fool, but the audacity. The nerve. Even if she doesn't TIP! But the fact is, SHE DID. He needs training or a new job. Other than that, this is a nice establishment
Peanut B — Google review
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this establishment and feel compelled to share my concerns. As a Black customer, I was treated unfairly and with a clear lack of respect. I waited patiently for over 30 minutes without being acknowledged, while others were served promptly. A friend even paid and tipped the staff to ensure we received our drinks — six double shots of 1942 — yet it was evident that my business was not valued. Prior to this incident, two visibly intoxicated white women caused a disturbance by knocking over a table and breaking glass, but they were not asked to leave. However, when I calmly tried to address the lack of service, the bartender refused to serve me, and both my friend and I were physically handled by security without cause. This experience left me feeling humiliated and discriminated against. No guest should be made to feel unwelcome or unsafe due to the color of their skin. I hope management takes this matter seriously and implements changes to ensure fair and respectful treatment for all patrons.

I have enjoyed seeing live music here on several occasions. The ambiance is the best. Great drinks. Update 4.25.24 I through a MrFresno Exclusive event and my guests had a blast. We had several trays of food provided through Bobby Salazars and We had 74 custom "MrFresno Drinks". 60 people cycled through. Most was their first time. They loved the atmosphere a great DJ and later Vibe Check played

Hours are not accurate wouldn't trust if you plan to go after 10 it was closed at 11 on Monday. (Edit) Now they're acting like I didn't walk in and get told that they were closed this might be a thing where the workers get too lazy to stay open for the time they're supposed to and deny people entry. I'm 100% sure it was 11:20pm on a Monday and I'm 100% sure it was Lucy's lounge because I checked 3 times to make sure I wasn't at the wrong place while sitting outside deciding where me and my friends were going to go.

This place is always great if you want to grab a drink and dance. They play they best 90s music. It always so much fun at Lucy's!

Our bartender was so nice and she whipped up my drink just the way I liked it! And she knew I loved crushed ice and gave me some, lol! This whole place has a real grown up feel & a sultry vibe! This was my first time here and let's just say, I'll be back soon!
