Malia's is a renowned restaurant located in Aiken, South Carolina, offering a sophisticated dining experience with a touch of Southern charm. The establishment prides itself on using high-quality, ethically sourced ingredients to create innovative and consistently excellent dishes. The seasonal menu features a variety of options, including Spinach and Artichoke Bisque, Grilled Chicken Salad, Turkey Flatbread, Shrimp Linguine, and more.
First time my wife and I visited Malia’s in downtown Aiken. Decor nice, small bar and comfortable seating. Our entrees were wild boar and scallops. Both we well presented. Wild Boar was fall off the bone and I really enjoyed it. My wife had the scallops, tasty but there were only quantity two, which we felt would be OK for a starter but not sufficient for an entree. The homemade raspberry pie and ice cream was delicious. Good selection of bottled beer. Service was excellent, albeit a tad expensive. Would definitely recommend this place and we would come here again when we are next in town.

Beautiful place! Came here at opening at 5pm on Tuesday 10/14/2025 for a family members birthday dinner celebration! Our server Leah, was very polite and Very attentive! She remembered everyone's orders! If You are coming here with a large group of 10 or more, expect to wait a minimum of an hour and 45 mins for Your food to come out! I had a weg salad with extra bacon. It was just ok! The combination of blue cheese crumbs and balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing is different! My wife had the Shrimp vindo! She stated it i was average! The other family members enjoyed the meals and drinks they had! Its kinda pricey for the small amount of food served to You, but it was an experience!

My son and I ate here to celebrate his 21st birthday. He ordered the short rib manicotti dish, and I ordered the wild boar osso buco. We also shared a blue cheese wedge salad, and a piece of raspberry pie for dessert with ice cream. Everything had amazing flavors. It was warm and properly prepared. There were good portions on the plates as well. It was a little empty because of the holiday, but I Evan, our waiter, did a good job of taking care of us. I do wish the raspberry pie had more raspberries in it, but the meat on my plate was so tender that it fell off of the bone. This made up for the raspberry pie being small. We will definitely return as it is a valuable asset to our community. .

I was in town visiting family and we chose Malia’s for dinner. We made a reservation for 3 at 6:30pm. We were kindly greeted as we walked in and we loved the new decor. We were then seated in the small side room to the right that has 3 tables. Everything started off ok, then soon declined. We felt like we were forgotten because we were seated away from the center area. Service became worse. Our waitress, Paige, was nice at the start, but we felt as if we were being rushed. We were there on a Wednesday evening and there were plenty of empty tables. We were very easy and only there for 1 & 1/2 hours. We felt like we were bothering her. We asked three times (2 different employees) for wine/water refills, which we waited 15 minutes for. Just as we were getting up to find someone to cancel them, they were brought out in a hurry. The wedge salad is good, very small. A small, adorable, well behaved dog was sitting in a chair at the table next us. Her head rested on the table with her owners. She was let down and went over and vomited between our table and hers. Numerous employees noticed it and walked past/over it several times without getting it up. It continued to sit there as we ate our meals. Then, an employee stepped in it and continue on as if not to see it. We really wanted this to be great and see that the new ownership was going well, but we were terribly disappointed. We unfortunately will not be back. For the price of food and atmosphere, The Willcox is a much better option. I truly do not like writing such a negative review, but hopefully they will improve the issues we in countered tonight.

Love this place, food is great and wait staff was excellent. Ambiance was very classy and cozy, only thing I wish they had would be a dress code. Apparently you can walk in off the street in flip flops, shorts, and tshirt.

Went with 3 other people for lunch and we were pretty excited given the very nice ambiance and the reviews but what we got was rather disappointing. The amount of bread provided as a complementary appetizer was 1 slice per person and barely more than just crust. One of us got the spinach salad which didn't even come with all the ingredients listed on the menu (they forgot the walnuts) and frankly I've seen better salads at Panera for 12 bucks. I got the $26 shrimp and grits which were very disappointing and also missing the tomatoes listed as an ingredient on the menu. The grits were almost certainly polenta, hardly any grit to the "grits". And the shrimp, all 5 of them, were unseasoned and uninspired. I was expecting an upscale take on shrimp and grits but what I got was really more an unbalanced, excessively rich and greasy plate. Needless to say I don't think we will be back.

A friend and I stopped in during Amp the Alley. We sat in the courtyard and grabbed a couple of drinks and some apps (Brussels, gnocchi and baked feta). Everything was a delight! We both rated the Brussels at the top of the list. The service was impeccable as well. I highly recommend dining here and can’t wait to go back!
Kelly H — Google review
The wait staff is wonderful and the service is good, but the food is not what it once was. I had stale pie the previous time I visited that was microwaved, which made it gelatinous. I thought it was just an off day, but in retrospect, I also had sat next to people who were complaining about the bland buffalo tacos not being upscale-restaurant quality. I will not dine at Malia's again after my recent visit, when I was served room-temperature lobster bisque that the waiter then took back and microwaved. As I ate the soup, I though maybe I would find a piece of two of actual lobster in it — nope. It was a light, cream based "lobster-flavored" broth that tasted of tarragon and had a strange texture with what appeared to be an olive oil drizzled on it. They served that with the heel end of stale bread. I had ordered the greens, and eating the teardrop peppers resulted in such severe indigestion and reflux after I left the restaurant, that I was up all night taking Prilosec. I probably should have stopped at the questionable bisque, but my sweet tooth led me to order dessert - which was stale sticky pudding which they seemed to think would be remedied by covering it with vanilla ice cream, which, if I can put it this way, wasn't exactly the level of Haagen-Dazs. I didn't complain at the time, because I didn't want to cause a disruption or stress out the bartender, who is a nice person; I had empathy for the staff having to deal with the decline in quality. This was such a waste of my hard-earned money that I am now avoiding eating out. If a high-end restaurant with a previously exceptional and reliable reputation is serving this sorry excuse for gourmet food, then I am concerned about what the mid-level restaurants may be serving. Not just no, but hell no.

Breakfast restaurant
Restaurant
What's Cookin' Downtown is a long-standing eatery that elevates typical breakfast and lunch offerings. The family-owned restaurant offers freshly cooked Lowcountry breakfast and lunch fare for dine-in or takeout, featuring staples, Southern favorites, bakery treats, and full-sized casseroles. The cozy ambiance with handcrafted tables adds to the homey vibes, making it a nostalgic and inspiring local experience in Aiken.
We haven't been in a few months. Had a delicious breakfast at What's Cookin'. It's hard not to get the pancakes everytime, they are so fluffy with a little crisp to the edges.  We ordered plain biscuits and sausage gravy to go. 🥞 pancakes 🥞 breakfast plate (grits, eggs, sausage, and toast)

Happy, non-assuming little place that could easily be overlooked. Friendly staff, clean digs, delicious grub - what more could you ask for? If you order the Chopped Cheese (and you should), try it with the pimento cheese instead of American. Big fan of the fried okra! They keep the batter really thin, so you actually taste okra rather than breading.
Lisa W — Google review
Great food and cool little place. Not what we were expecting but enjoyed our visit. Little different from traditional café as you order and pay then get a number to set on your table. You get your own drinks, silverware, condiments... only reason for a 3 on the service. The waitresses and bussers were great but it was odd getting your own stuff. We both had build your own omelets, food came out really fast and hot. Food was great, nice size omelets with good fillings. Menu little small but has the basics.

What a beautiful, local experience. Hands down, this is the best restaurant with homey vibes in Aiken yet. This place feels nostalgic, I needed a place for inspiration so that I could write again and I found it here! Aiken has always been my home, I was born and raised here. This place is by far the best restaurant I've been to in this area. I love the coffee house music that plays, it's very retro and gives me new ideas and clarity. I had the Spinach Bacon Salad!! It was absolutely AMAZING! If you're going for breakfast, you have to get the grits. I added cheese in mine, they are the best grits I've ever had hands down (and I was raised on grits!). I had the Strawberry Shortcake Cheesecake with my lunch today and it was worth every penny. The prices are beyond reasonably for the amount of food you get on your plate and the quality of each bite. I am not over exaggerating when I tell you, if you're looking for a place to eat that has an "Aiken-feel" and right in the historical part of cozy downtown Aiken, look no further than "What's Cookin'". You're welcome. Oh! I told you so. 😉

We took our family of five (two adults and three children) to What’s Cooking and had a great overall experience. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the prices were very reasonable—our total bill came to about $75. I ordered the French dip and was thoroughly impressed. The meat was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked—easily one of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend it. My wife had the club sandwich and enjoyed it with no complaints. For the kids, we ordered a grilled cheese, hamburger, and chicken sandwich. Everyone was happy with their meal, except for one of my daughters who thought the chicken was a bit dry. I tried it myself and thought it was delicious. The small side of chili we ordered was also a hit. My youngest daughter even recommended dipping the grilled cheese into the chili for extra flavor—a surprisingly good combo. Overall, What’s Cooking delivered a satisfying, family-friendly meal. We’ll definitely be back and gladly recommend it to others.

My third visit. Some of our friends told us what a great place downtown Aiken was. So, about 4 years ago, a few of us ventured from our hometown of Augusta to see for ourselves. What a joy it had been and for the past 3 years we have made it an annual visit. The food is great, the people at What's Cooking are great and the atmosphere is fantastic. We'll be back next year. And maybe I'll try that rainbow cake!
Billy N — Google review
Literally the best grits I’ve ever had! Ordered the terminator breakfast Lol not much to it, for the price you would expect at least it be served with toast but no. Ordered the grits as a side( additional charge) grits so good made up for disappointing breakfast plate. Restaurant is very clean and beautifully set up. Will definitely be back and give lunch a try.

Absolutely a must visit when visiting Aiken SC. Food and service was great , however being a first time visitor I was unaware of having to get my own silverware and drinks. There were no signs posted about self service and wasn't till my meal arrived and I asked where my coffee was the waitress then kindly explained it to me. Other then that the restaurant was terrific 👍

Whiskey Alley is a cozy eatery situated in The Alley, at the heart of Aiken's vibrant Downtown area. The restaurant offers a variety of small plates, salads, and entrees like roasted ricotta gnocchi, filet medallions, fish and chips, burgers, and vegetable plates. Despite its name, City Billiards is actually a full-menu restaurant with some pool tables and has been around since 1957.
Service was great! G was very helpful with all the recommendations. Sunday lunch with some live music out on the side. Had a charcuterie board with some amazing meats and cheeses with a side of olives. Drinks Michelada and Irish Whiskey Coffee. Prices very very high on the Whiskey and Drinks. Originally went for the fish and Chips but price for a piece of fish and French fries was $28. Cool atmosphere.

One of the only places in town to get different! Consistent menus changes with great food to me is key to a successful restaurant. We eat out A LOT locally to support our restaurants and eating the same menu items for over 3-5 months gets mundane. No worries here bc they are always changing the menu! Want something a little exotic they have that too! My favorite non alcoholic bev is the Easy H8MP Co spicy marg! Crush it! We have been two weeks in a row and I highly recommend the pork chops. They are delicious. I ate them both weeks. Everybody in my party absolutely thought there. Entrées were delicious as well. Whiskey Alley has the best bourbon the best drinks and the best service in Aiken go give them a try!

I stopped by and had the fish and chips—and wow, it did not disappoint! The flavor, texture, and freshness were all top-notch. You can really tell the quality of the ingredients is above average, and while the price was a bit higher than some places, it was absolutely worth it for what you get. The service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt laid-back but refined. I’ve heard from several people that the burger here is the best in town, so I’m definitely planning to come back and try it for myself. This place is a gem—great food, great vibes, and clearly a place that takes pride in what they serve. Highly recommend!

I ordered the salad - the 'lil" one and some of the leaves were a bit slimy as well as the cucumber slices. The dressing had a good flavor. Our hot pepperoni/salami sub was very lite on meat. Like a slice of each on each half. The wait staff was amazing. Cute bottle idea for water.

First time visiting Aiken and walked in on a Thursday night around 7 pm. They had a table available for us inside, but busy enough that we were asked if we had reservations. Ambiance, food and service was excellent. Definitely will visit again next time we're in Aiken.

This was our first visit to Whiskey Alley and wow, completely blown away by the entire experience. We went to celebrate our anniversary and were first greeted by flowers and a signed card on our table! All the staff that we came into contact with were friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be returning!
Kristen A — Google review
On a Saturday night, Whiskey Alley was very busy so we elected to be seated in the enclosed outdoor backroom. Menu selection was good and our selected entrees and cocktails did not disappoint. This area of Aiken was a very busy social gathering place and would be great for people watching. Parking was at a premium and we found parking a few blocks away... the walk to Whiskey Alley was enjoyable.
VALORIE T — Google review
Whiskey Alley never disappoints. Daniel and Halsie behind the bar are incredible, welcoming, attentive, and truly passionate about what they do. They make you feel like a regular the moment you sit down. The espresso martini is the best in town and their whiskey knowledge is next-level. If you get the chance to be served by Daniel or Halsie, you’re in great hands!

Restaurant
Casa Bella is a charming restaurant located in a Victorian mansion, offering a cozy and homey atmosphere to enjoy old-world Northern Italian cuisine. The property was originally a ladies clothing store before being transformed into the restaurant it is today by the current owners, Arlene and Joe Ianelli. Chef Joe prepares classic Italian dishes such as zuppa di pesce, osso buco, and the favorite eggplant rollatini.
First time here. Food and service were great. It wasn't busy so I can't really say if that would change if they were. Loved the quaintness of the restaurant that was a 1890s house.
Brian K — Google review
We really enjoyed our first time here. Very nice atmosphere. Nicely greeted. The food was delicious!!! I had the special....eggplant and veal parmesan with pasta and my husband had a pasta and sausage dish. Next time I will ask for less sauce but it was good. The calamari could have been crunchier but still had a good flavor. We will definitely be going back!!!
P C — Google review
An old friend of mine invited me out with her husband while I was visiting Aiken. She recommended casa Bella as it was one of her husband's favorites and since I had not had Italian for quite a while it was perfectly fine with me. Located in downtown Aiken Casa Bella is literally a repurposed house serving final Italian cuisine. The restaurant has a wonderful wine list and if you don't know what to have with dinner, the server will be more than happy to provide a suggestion. We started dinner with calamari and mushroom fries, which are a large portobello mushroom 10 into strips lightly breaded and fried. Both excellently done. I ordered lasagna, my friend ordered veal Marsala, and her husband had a special of the day chicken with dehydrated tomatoes and peppers. The veal and chicken dishes were well received. I am the other hand was slightly disappointed with the lasagna. Although a very healthy portion with a lovely sauce and lots of meat, there's an apparent lack of cheese. Look at the photograph and tell me you see any ricotta. I didn't see any of the wait staff nor our waiter for quite some time after lasagna had been placed in front of me. So I continued on with eating and by time our waiter showed up I was well through halfway done and didn't bring up the matter. Overall, dinner was well received by all and conversation catching up on old times and discussions of current affairs made up for lack of cheese. This is nothing to not recommend or find fault with the restaurant, and I would consider returning, if I get back to Aiken.
Dr D — Google review
Would say it was a 5 star experience, I got something to try that was not to my taste, but it was me branching out. The risotto was phenomenal the veg of the day was green beans and they were well seasoned and crisp. The potato soup was good enough to be a stand alone meal, and the bread with the oil and roasted garlic paired well with everything. The show stopper was really the crème Brûlée, with a nice cappuccino to accompany. It had a excellent crust, and was simple and delicious. Want to comment on our server. He was also wonderful.
James H — Google review
What a great restaurant, I had spaghetti and meatballs and my wife have pasta primavera. Both were excellent. And dog friendly on the beautiful patio.
Bernie C — Google review
Maybe my expectations were too high? We typically go to another ‘nice-ish’ restaurant when in town but thought we’d try here. Our group of 8 put in a small room upstairs which was nice for privacy and ambiance but HOT. It was at least 10 degrees cooler when we left the room. Our server was patient and did well taking orders and getting checks right. My Veal Marsala was room temperature even almost close to cool (as were most other dishes noted by my dinner mates). We had already waited so long for our food I didn’t want to complain or send back… I probably should have. It was not very flavorful (I’ve had at many restaurants so have a good palate to compare), a tad more chewy than tender and the pasta that came with it just plain noodles. The house salad was fine and bread was highlight of meal. We came, we tried but alas we probably won’t return. I wish I had a picture of food but didn’t want to see rude in front of my dinner party. Perhaps it was an off night- ciao bella.
Elizabeth S — Google review
Arrived at a Saturday night with no reservation so I'm taking that into consideration. However, at the time we arrived, the restaurant was not busy and many tables were empty. We were greeted at sat and told by the hostess that she would be back with menus. It took about 15 minutes for her to return. The entire service experience was mediocre at best. Food: Chicken Marsala was very salty. Chicken picotta was good. Overall, environment was nice, lot of potential given the history but this particular experience left much to be desired.
Carlos C — Google review
Loved the steak. I had the Chicken Marsala, not as flavorful as I would have liked but still tasty. Service was good, and timely. We will go back.

Taj Aiken Indian Cuisine offers a modern twist on classic Indian dishes, serving up a delectable array of flavors that cater to every Indian food enthusiast. The restaurant is known for its tandoori chicken, Taj Biryani, and lamb chops with tikka masala sauce. With its rich and bold flavors, Taj Aiken promises to satisfy all your cravings for authentic Indian cuisine.
This was my first trip to this restaurant and wow, they did not disappoint! My coworkers have gone here several times for lunch over the last few months and unfortunately I wasn’t able to join them. Fortunately though, was able to finally try it for myself. The outside of the building isn’t much to look at but the inside is a lovely surprise. The waitstaff were friendly and the food was delicious. The friends who joined me for dinner, eat here regularly so I know that I will be back!

Currently sitting at the table and I just can’t believe how nasty the food was. Very salty and an unpleasant sight to see. Our waitress was very rude I don’t know her name however if you decide to come here you can’t miss the disgusting attitude she has. I order the Veggie Chettinad, Husband had the Navratan Korma and my Parents order the Taj Biryani Deluxe. I’ve been here 3 times and this experience was horrible. Food was nasty uuugggghhhhh what a waste. Also our naan bread was burnt (sigh) the pictures speak for themselves. Our waitress came back at the very end to check to see how the food was after another waitress helped us and checked us out. My husband was the only one who enjoyed his food. We won’t be coming back.
Tykerah H — Google review
I've experienced Taj a couple of time. My experiences have been consistence. I've gone when they are busy and moderately occupied. The acoustics was surprisingly friendly even when it's packed. The environment in terms of decor and service met my expectations. The dishes were par with my expectations in terms of aroma and flavor. Proportion was on the lighter side compare to my other experiences for the cost point. It's pretty much a monopoly in the market in the area.
Kenny L — Google review
My husband and I went to the restaurant because he wanted to try their food. The waiter didn't appear interested in ensuring we enjoyed the restaurant as a first time customer. We were not offered any refills on drinks nor the occasional "how is everything ". I felt as if I forced myself into someone home and asked for a plate of food. The service to other customers were great; however we did not receive the friendly gestures. My husband, whose is Caucasian, noticed the treatment was different for us and another African-American woman in restaurant. We will not be back needlessly to say.
Tara B — Google review
Great consistent food. Priced fairly and very shareable. The owner is a big supporter of the community. Alok Kumar is a very kind and generous man.

I have not been back here in a while but this is definetly a spot I need to return again to. The atmosphere is very good and cozy. Lots of customers inside when I dined here. It was a impromptu stop in and I had not intended to eat here tonight. But suffice to say this is probably one of the best local restaurants I've ever tried. The food portions were generous and you could tell everything was prepared from scratch. This place is fine for dining solo or with a small group. The paneer and garlic naan I had was sublime and the medium spicy was not overpowering at all and just the right amount. 10/10 I'll be back.
Kevin M — Google review
Ordered take out. 2 chicken Tikka Marsala ask for mild heat and Garlic Naan. Chicken was super dry, tikka Marsala was too sweet, but garlic Naan was good. Flavor was just one note and tasted bland. I’ve had many of frozen tikka Marsala taste better. Really wished for better. Service was good and Atmosphere seemed nice while I was waiting to pay.

City Billiards, located on Richmond Avenue and established in 1956, is a popular restaurant offering a variety of dishes such as burgers, sandwiches, salads, and more. The menu features mouthwatering options like "The Southern Gentlemen" with thick cut bologna, smoked ham, American cheese, fried egg, lettuce and tomato.
If you're ever in the mood for a truly great burger, you've got to go see Jess. My burger 🍔 was cooked perfectly. She put a lot of care and effort in to preparing it and I truly appreciate it. I'm still thinking about how great it was. 😁😋

Love the burgers here. They are homemade. Not frozen from a box. I was a little surprised when I found out that they don't come with a side. Everything is a-la-carte. That's the only reason for 4 stars. I did try one of my husbands onion rings and they were quite good. I'm not sure if they're fresh, but they are a whole onion ring. Not some chopped up what-not that's onion-wanna-be. 🙂 The service was quick and the place is clean. Looking forward to returning for yet another tasty burger.

Pretty quiet at 3:00 on a Monday afternoon but I'll bet things pick up a lot in the evening. I had the Philly Cheesesteak and it was excellent. Ditto for the onion rings. Caroline had the Club Sandwich with French fries and said they were delicious! I look forward to returning so I can try their Best Cheeseburger You'll Ever Eat!

First time visiting for me. Sat at the corner of the bar with a great view of multiple TVs and the grill. Immediately met by a friendly server who quickly brought my requested PBR. I knew I was there for a cheeseburger and ordered the “double” with a side of onion rings. As I watched the two, hand portioned balls of ground meat hit the grill I thought there was a possibility that my eyes were larger than my stomach. The burger arrived a perfect medium and the onion rings were so hot that I could barely handle them! Everything was cooked to perfection and proved the saying on the staff’s shirts. “Best Cheeseburger in town!” There were no leftovers! Friendly, locals kind of place. Highly recommended and I’ll definitely be back!

We certainly did not have the experience we were expecting based on reviews. We sat down with one other 3 top in the entire place. We were a party of 4. The server immediately gave the vibe that she was annoyed we were there. It was 1904, they close at 2000. We ordered and waited. And waited and waited. The food arrived at 1957. Nearly an hour later for 3 burgers and a sandwich!! My food disappointment began with the sad serving of crinkle cut French fries. A recent review said the fries were hand cut. They aren’t. But I like crinkle cut… I just don’t like crinkle cut pieces! There wasn’t as evidenced by my pic, a single fry over 2” long. Fries don’t come with burgers- they are extra. My next disappointment ( along with the rest of the table) was the small burgers and completely unseasoned meat. Not a drop of salt. Blandest burger ever. Mine was supposed to have Gouda, a fried green tomato and remoulade . The tomato was the butt end, sliced super thin and tiny. There wasn’t any discernible remoulade and I looked. Oh haha almost forgot the grilled onions because like everything else it was virtually non-existent. I paid about $20 for that plus a generous 20% tip for lackluster service. The atmosphere was fine and the place looked clean. Someone else in our party ordered chili cheese fries that should have just been called chili fries . The cheese was a mere pathetic sprinkle. There won’t be a return visit for us.

They really do have the best burger in town. They are not a performed patty but an actual smashed burger. The homemade chips are good to. And they have really good fried green tomatoes The prices on this site are wrong as they have gone up but what hasn't these days? It is still a good value for your money. I can't wait to eat there again.

Restaurant
Dukes Bar-B-Que in Aiken, South Carolina, is a cherished family-owned establishment that has been delighting patrons with its Southern cuisine since 1996. Known for its all-you-can-eat barbecue buffet, this spot offers an authentic taste of Carolina BBQ that feels like home-cooked meals straight from grandma's kitchen. Visitors rave about the freshness and warmth of the food, making every bite a comforting experience.
I ordered a pork plate here after traveling to Aiken work one day after getting recommendations from locals and it was very good. The meat was seasoned well and chopped to a decent size. The mashed potatoes and black eyed peas were seasoned very well but the okra and tomatoes were over salted. The hush puppies were a surprise (and good) since I didn’t think the plate came with bread. The takeout process was very simple. Highly recommend.

Good bbq. Actually cooked on a real smoker.the sides were great old school cooking. Lima beans..squash casserole. Fried potatoes. Ribs and pulled pork. The star of the day was the fried pork chops really good stuff. My only criticism would be the banana pudding was just pudding with some Nilla wafers crushed on top. Very basic compared to the rest of the buffet.

This is a review of the breakfast buffet. I think it's only on Saturday mornings, but I could be wrong. It's got all the hallmark qualities of a Dukes lunch/dinner buffet: tons of options, good taste, and super clean. They had pancakes, French toast sticks, biscuits and gravy, grits, several different egg casseroles and scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, sausage links and patties, breakfast potatoes, chicken, a fruit bar, yogurt parfaits, cereal, and a coffee bar. They also have that "good ice." No complaints here--the atmosphere is warm and inviting, the food is fresh, and the drinks were however you wanted them. If you are looking for a fast, in-and-out breakfast that isn't fast food, this is definitely worth a try.

Love it every time we come. Nice environment. Comfortable and spacious. The food is hot and delicious. Great choice of drinks. The staff is so friendly and helpful.

We decided to try Duke’s BBQ while visiting Aiken, based on the many positive reviews. One thing I appreciated right away was the handwashing station conveniently located at the check-in where you pay—such a thoughtful touch! The food selection was impressive, offering everything from classic Southern fried favorites to barbecue chicken, ribs, chopped pork, and all the fixings. There were even three different dessert options and fresh fruit available. I also liked that the price included a drink—no extra charge, which is rare for a buffet-style restaurant. For the price, I felt it was a good value overall. However, if you’re a serious barbecue foodie, the flavor might fall a bit short of expectations. One downside to our visit was that the air conditioning was broken, making the restaurant uncomfortably warm and taking away from the overall dining experience.

We are always looking for good BBQ, especially on a buffet, and in SC they abound in generally good quality. Most are dressed 'down-home' with a moderate selection. And, in SC a lot of them are called Duke's. Some are related, others are not. I don't know the affiliation of this one. The location is out-of-the-way, the building looks recent and parking is plentiful. The late-lunch crowd was large and energetic and the dining area was crowded. But the staff was very helpful to find seats for us and bring drinks. There was lots of Styrofoam and plastic, on par for the cuisine. The buffet selection was very nice with side including hash and rice, a couple of bean choices and, of course, fresh Mac & Cheese. They had BBQ and fried chicken and I tried both. Large pieces, delicious and very juicy without being sloppy. The pulled pork BBQ and ribs were fresh and very tasty with a decent offering of sauces (although I prefer to taste the meat first). Even with the drive, this Duke's will be a regular for us.

We came down from Ohio to visit family, and we wanted to try Carolina BBQ while we were on our trip. We drove here from Lexington, and it was well worth the 40 min drive. The buffet, food was absolutely incredible, everything was fresh and hot, all the dishes felt like they were home-cooked by someone's grandma. The Manager, April, was incredibly personable and a delight to chat with, as well as the owner who visited our table and welcomed us, and gave us the rundown of the weekend breakfast which sounded fantastic. 10/10 overall experience. Highly recommend, cant wait to go back.

Enjoyed the breakfast today. Many good food choices on the buffet. Variety of egg options was nice and the meats were good. Nice fruit and yogurt options also. Nice weekend treat.

The Willcox Restaurant, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is part of the award-winning hotel known for its exceptional service and luxurious amenities. The restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring dishes like Sixty South Salmon, Avocado & Salmon Toast, and Chia Pudding. Chef Ed DeFelice's American-influenced cuisine reflects his international travels and has been recognized by Wine Spectator and Best Chefs of America.
We always have dinners for special occasions at the Wilcox. The service and atmosphere is excellent. The old hotel is charming especially if you sit in the lobby. Try the Wilcox Gin and Tonic. Don’t be afraid that it is a little purple. It’s meant to be that way. The food is good but could be a little better. Same with the service. It is higher end but they could use just a bit more training. All in all…. I would go if you are in the Aiken area. It is firmly on the Aiken bucket list.

I really wanted to like this place. We have a Lake house here in Aiken and visit periodically. This occasion was for my husbands birthday. We played a few rounds of golf and then grabbed dinner ant the Willcox afterwards. The ambience is nice, but we were squished at a two seated table, with another table right next to us. We had no privacy, or intimacy. We could hear their conversation the entire time. It did not feel romantic whatsoever. The service was okay, it took a while to initially track our server down. The wine selection was nice. However the food was awful. The steak was overcooked and tasted like cilantro. It was very overpowering. I would come back to drink here and ask for a different table. I most certainly would not dine here again, especially for a special occasion.

A lovely dinner at the Willcox. We have been a few times, and the Sixty South Salmon never disappoints. A nice environment with friendly staff. The only downside was the black truffle gratin that came with the fillet. My spouse said it was good but underseasoned (only item not eaten). I had the dessert special, cookies and cream gelato, delicious. 🍴 House chips and blue. cheese dip 🍴 Sixty South Salmon 🍴 CAB 6oz fillet 🥄 Cookies and Cream Gelato

First I have to mention the wheelchair entrance is on the side by the pool. We came for Saturday brunch and everything was fantastic. The salmon poke was to die for with in-house made taro chips. The flavors were an explosion in your mouth! The eggs Benedict, avocado toast and catfish po boy & fries were ok. They were far outshined by the poke!! No complaints and our waitress was very sweet. Can't wait to be able to come back.

5 star service from the the car to the table. Valet attendants were kind and helpful. They had a beautiful lobby with live piano accompaniment to set a beautiful atmosphere. We arrived early and were offered early seating or drinks at the bar. Our waiter, Tristan, was highly attentive and provided us with helpful recommendations for our meal choices. Everything we ate was delicious! We also appreciated the small touches of several staff commenting on our anniversary, a small note, and drinks from the restaurant. 10/10 would recommend and look forward to coming back in the future.

My wife, son and I enjoyed a fine dinner, celebrating our 19 year anniversary recently. We were served by Bruce, who treated us with flawless service and pleasant conversation. He remained aware of our needs without 'hovering', keeping our glasses full and courses perfectly timed. My wife and I had the salmon dinner with asparagus, which was cooked perfectly. Both cuts were flaky with excellent texture. Not over cooked on the outside or under cooked in the center. My son had the burger with truffle fries, which was also cooked to perfection. All dinners were served together; a tip to the cook who timed the meals so well. The meals were hot while the plates were room temperature - a sign no 'heating lamps' were used. Overall, an outstanding meal. We highly recommend asking for Bruce for the perfect dinning experience.

Went to celebrate my birthday. It was worth it. Food was very good and our server was very knowledgeable, funny and professional. (Wish I could remember his name so I could send him a shout out). It was pricey though. Many of the cocktails and liquor they offer, can be bought at other establishments for a significant lesser amount.

If you're on the hunt for authentic Italian pizza, look no further than Apizza di Napoli®️. Established in 2012, this pizzeria has earned accolades from the AVPN in Naples, Italy, making it a standout destination for pizza lovers. Their Margherita Vera Pizza is a delightful blend of tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, parmesan cheese, and fragrant basil drizzled with extra virgin olive oil—truly reminiscent of the best pizzas enjoyed over three decades.
One of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. I ordered a New Haven pizza and side salad after a long day of work in Aiken, SC. PROS: The crust was thin and crispy on the New Haven pizza. I always thought that a New Haven pizza was without cheese and only tomato sauce with some pecorino, but I really enjoyed this pizza and ate the whole thing. The salad was delicious and blueberry pomegranate, balsamic vinaigrette had a lot of flavor. CONS: The pizza was not cut, despite the menu saying that it would be cut. Some pizzas on the menu say UNCUT next to the name of the pizza with the disclaimer that Neapolitan pizza should not be cut. Normally it wouldn’t be that big of a deal, but I was staying in a hotel but the plastic fork and knife they gave me was enough to cut the pizza. It was $26 for a 12 inch pizza and some spring mix and halved cherry but I don’t mind paying that much for a meal when it is high-quality. And this pizza and salad was very delicious. They gave me a 8:05 PM pick up time but when I walked in at 7:55 the pizza was being put into the box so that could have something to do with it not being cut. Overall, this was a high-quality pizza and salad, and it was very delicious after a long day of work. The next time I’m in Aiken, I plan to order from here again. Highly recommend!

I’ve visited this establishment twice. I do like the pizza, the wings were not bad, my favorite was the pollo picante pizza, not sure what “NOLA sauce” is bc it didn’t taste like anything I’ve had in NOLA but the pizza was very good. I do think this place is a little pricey & the service is not very friendly. I just moved back to the area from NOLA so maybe I’m used to a different level of friendliness. The service alone makes me want to avoid this place, they seem bothered :(

My family and I have recently moved to Aiken and we are so thankful to have found this place! The staff is very friendly and the food is the highest quality you can find in the state! This is a small business focused on quality above all else so sometimes the wait is longer if they’re busy, but the food is worth it! The dough is crunchy but not filling, the sauce has that fresh tomato flavor, and the cheese is just perfection. Our favorites are the New Haven and the Margherita - vera. If you’re in the area and have the time to enjoy a certified authentic Italian experience, you won’t be disappointed!
Sean O — Google review
This restaurant changed my entire perspective of pizza. Best pizza of my life. We live over an hour away and have wanted to try their pizza for over a year. Upset we didn’t come earlier. We tried the Margherita, New Haven and Vesuvius pizzas. My wife liked the Margherita the best and I liked the Vesuvius the best. That’s not saying much as they all were amazing. I regret not getting a fourth or fifth at this point. The desserts, Spumoni Bomba and Cannoli, were excellent as well. I’m an ice cream guy so I devoured most of the Spumoni and my wife loved the Cannoli. We will definitely be back and try other pizzas and maybe get 5 or 6 because they were just as delicious out of the toaster oven.
Mike V — Google review
Apizza Di Napoli and I have a love hate relationship. On one hand - I’ll gladly drive the 2 hours here to eat traditional Neapolitan Pizza that’s certified. (I think it’s the only one in the state now.) that’s kicks me back to my childhood and lets the adult in me relax. In the other hand - there’s a lot of rules for this place and rather staff or the owner being patient or just pointing at a sign, or being excited to share the experience or culture of it - you are treated like a baccalà. This isn’t your normal pizza place - this an experience - so if expecting a catered experience - throw your expectations into the trash and enjoy your little slice of Europe in Aiken. Don’t let the strip mall tell you otherwise - this is a high end restaurant hiding in horse country.

We were in town (Aiken) for a soccer game. We came from Columbia. I've known of this restaurant for a while, just had not had a chance to try it. Well we did, and I must say, the PIZZA is spectacular. I am from Naples Italy and this is exactly how you get it when you eat PIZZA where PIZZA was invented. I had a chance to chat with the owner, she is 100% Italian from Avellino, no fakes there unlike other Italian places. We will definitely be back when we are back in town. Or maybe occasionally just take a drive just to enjoy this original Neapoletan Pizza. This restaurant is like an hidden treasure in Aiken, SC. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Meatballs were pretty good but a bit pricey Pizza was way underdone. On our way out the manager offered to make another one and he would make sure it was perfect. That should have been done the first time. I didn’t say anything when it was delivered because I wanted to see how the food is presented and served the first time around. This is what they served so I accepted it and paid my bill. I will not be back.
John C — Google review
This place has the best pizza around...hands down. The service however, is very impersonal. You are greeted by someone who will seat you and then robotically delivers a rehearsed speech about how you must use a QR code to see the menu (no big deal) and when you decide on your order you have to get up from your table and walk back to the register to place your order. The person that takes the order at the window never returns to ask how the food is or, if you need a drink refill, etc. When you finish, you have to return to the window again to pay on the way out. Very strange way to run a restaurant. Cold and impersonal service but, that being said...I reiterate, best pizza around.

Lovely dinner in a favorite downtown! Such a walkable downtown & this fine establishment was perfect! Loved the Lump Crab appetizer! Ribeye gorgeously red in middle to our order. Salmon special was delicious! We were able to relax after six hours on the holiday highway. Excellent choice!

We checked out the Prime Steakhouse. Hubby had been a couple of times with work. It was my first time. The portions were more than I was expecting. Last Friday was our second time dining at Prime Steakhouse. This visit was to celebrate my beautiful wife's birthday. We both had the 8 oz filet mignon; mine was ordered medium and hers medium well. Both steaks were very good and cooked to our expectations. They came with mashed potatoes and onion rings that were also quite tasty. My wife also had a house salad that she loved and a Maryland crab cake that she'll eat tonight because the servings are a nice size and she ordered too much food... We also ordered a peanut butter chocolate pie to go that we devoured later and it was scrumptious. Our server, Ravyn, was excellent. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. And even though we ordered our dessert to go, she first brought it to the table with a Happy Birthday and a candle on it! Thanks Ravyn! Finally, the pricing. This is an expensive restaurant for our small town. I'm not complaining, and I knew that before we came here. When you order items beyond the entrees, it adds up quickly.

This hidden gem was what my husband and I needed for a night out. It reminded me of a cute, quaint, romantic spot in Birmingham. The hostess was very cordial as was the server. I will say she was the best in the place and we made sure to let her know when we left her a nice tip! She's a treasure! The food was absolutely delicious. I started off with the crab cake as an appetizer. My husband had calamari. We chose the filet mignon and cowboy ribeye with an added lobster tail for our entrees. Everything was seasoned to perfection. I had only one small issue which was that my steak came out warm instead of hot. I mentioned it to our server but declined sending it back. I declined because I didn’t want to wait and have my husband finish eating before I could eat and it was as seasoned so well until I just looked past that small detail. Other than my butter not melting on my steak, everything was absolutely amazing and I cannot wait to dine again!

Excellent in every way. The steak was amazing, the halibut was too. Service and atmosphere made for a wonderful dinner date with my wife.

The food was delicious. We ranged from Crab Cakes to 3 different types of steak. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The garlic mashed potatoes were also great. The only reason my overall rating is not higher, is the value. Pretty pricey when I have had food just as good, for half the cost.
Bruce B — Google review
Not sure how it was possible to split a dinner and still have a $200 tab. Could be an $18 split plate fee? (2nd plate had mashed potatoes with a hard crust from being under the warmer and 2 onion rings, we had to split our own steak at the table --a little awkward). We've talked for a while about trying out Prime as the owner advertises having his own cattle ranch. Coming from a family of butchers, I was excited for a great cut of beef. We split the 24 oz bone in cowboy steak and it was gristly and underdone. Our server Raven was fabulous and attentive. The wine list was very minimal and low quality. My husband's spinach was lukewarm. 4 tables on a Friday night and 4 servers, the bartender and plastic-aproned dishwasher all playing on their phones. We were very disappointed.

I have been going here for years and the food and service have always been top notch. However, a visit this past Saturday was surprising when I was served an order of yellow tail and mackerel sashimi. I’m including a photo of the dish that was presented but should have never left the kitchen. I thought it was raw chicken and cat food. Our waitress was lovely, it was not her fault but we did learn that the regular sushi chef was on medical leave and whomever was covering had no idea what they were doing. I’ll be back again for sure but am gonna to wait a few months.

Went to Takosushi with high expectations. As a chef and culinary guru I expected taste as well as presentation to be on point. My initial order of grill salmon with sautéed veggies and beans.....Was a No Go!!! NO FLAVOR AND PLATED WITH FOOD NOT CENTERED....MESSY!!!! As Chef and Culinary Guru and Food Teste you just expect greatness at every spoonful at a place like Takosushi. 7/10 My second selection and recommendation from the hostess was a SMASHING HUT!!! THE POKIE BOWL WAS AMAZING 10/10 FOR SURE

Today my family and I wanted to try something new and we found this cute little place. The inside was clean and neat and when we walked in we were greeted with the friendliest smile from the hostess she was very nice and had great customer service. I didn't quite get her name but I think it was Ary. She wore a skirt and pigtails with bows 10/10 hostess. The inside looked clean and the whole staff were so welcoming. The food was amazing!!!!! I ordered a Greenville roll it was a 10/10 full compliments to the chef. I almost licked my plate clean lol. Overall this place not only has great customer service but good food and an amazing atmosphere. I 100% recommend going.

I will start with the good here, seaweed salad was very large and very good. Now for the bad, the salmon was horrible we got the nigiri, had the Augusta roll I would not get that again and my biggest complaint is having the minimum tip amount for the option was way above what I would normally tip. It was 20%. That's ridiculous for a minimum choice. I don't think we would come back here The food quality was just poor for the fish. The taco was fine.

A very nice place with great atmosphere. Service was amazing, our waitress Dee was fantastic. The big issue was the food. The sushi, even though it was good quality, it just wasn't made very well. It was like I made it for the 1st time. They were way to big, just too much rice. Even on the Japanese Bagel roll, the cream cheese pieces were way too big, so eating it tasted like biting into a block of cream cheese, where you couldn't taste the Salmon. Then my wife got the Filet Mignon tacos, but the meat was mostly fatty, and Gristlely. We told our waitress Dee, who brought it to the manager, who agreed and remade it for her. The new steak was better, but was not a Filet, but more sirloin. The Calamari was very tasty, and the dipping sauce was awesome. Our taquitos were really good too. They had a lot on neat and creative items on the menu, so I would probably try them again, but I would be a little suspect.

Went with a group of four and had the best time! Music was great, it felt amazing inside (when compared to outside humidity), and had wonderful service from Lexi. Definitely planning to make this a regular spot with my coworkers! Only downside was no steak and I was looking forward to the steak taco. Manager came by to explain the situation and provided excellent alternative options. The Blackened Fish Taco was great so thank you for the recommendation!!! All in all, five stars! Will definitely be back to hopefully get my steak tacos!

This was our first time here, came around 4:30 on a Friday early in March. Not super busy yet (probably would have been later). There were no prices for beer or cocktails on the bar menu, so we didn't order any (I hate asking for a price; although the menu does helpfully inform you that "you can buy the kitchen staff a round for an extra $10"). Our fish and chips came with a couple of quite hard little hushpuppies. It was disappointing that a small side of coleslaw isn't included with a fish and chip meal (this is the 765th fish and chip restaurant in North America that we have eaten at by the way, and of those only 7 have not served a small coleslaw with the dinner) A 18-22% tip is recommended and thoughtfully calculated for your convenience. Our waitress was perfunctory.

We wanted to go to Aiken Fish house to try their new menu items. The food was good as is typical. The new menu now charges extra for premium sides and doesn’t offer a couple of the items from before such as grouper. We were disappointed in that because my son wanted to order a grouper. The waitress was sweet and the place was clean. The sweet potato fries were really good as were the collard greens. My baked potato was dense and dry, so be sure to request a fresh one. And my catch of the day was very tiny as far as the size. If I had known that I would’ve ordered something different. I’m happy that we have this restaurant in Aiken, and will go again.

The place was FULL on a Monday (7:15pm they close at 9pm) and we STILL were able to get seated within 10 minutes without a reservation. I suggest calling ahead if needed. The floor was sticky in the restroom and in certain areas of the dining section (im assuming it was due to the time we arrived vs time business closes + customer volume). The Whole Red Snapper Plate (photo) was a hit for some. Others enjoyed the burgers, and the hush puppies were cooked "Just Right!". The fries were over seasoned, the rice & beans lacked flavor and was dry. (Again could be due to the time of our dining). Our server was Great! Didn't need to ask for refills. She would check the table at the right times (not when your mouth is full of food 🤣). We were not acknowledged right away upon entering - again, they were PACKED, and there is only 1 hostess. The other staff (who were by the door- bartender, waitresses) didn't acknowledge either, but personally, I'm only interested in how my own wait staff is since they are getting my tip. Overall, it was an OK experience, again could be due to the time we choose to go vs the time the business closes.

Drove down on the golf cart as usual! Was super excited about the new menu. Holy guacamole May the 4th be with you the fish house crew has blown it out the water! Its the largest menu i have seen since AFH opened! Its loaded with a lot of good stuff! We had pimento cheese shrimp jelly jam w/ naan and hush puppies. One of the best appetizers I’ve ever had! Wings were wings but the Teri Hot sauce reminded me of Wife Savers flavor back in the day. Daughter had poke bowl and loved it and fiancé had blacked salmon. We loved everything we had and was very pleased

We were told about this spot the Aiken Fish House,it took us an hour to get here but it was worth the drive. It’s in a shopping center with a large amount of parking, we arrived about 6:00 Saturday afternoon with no reservations. The wait was only about 8 or 9 minutes. The staff was very friendly as well as the customers. We had Dana as our waitress and she did a phenomenal job with helping us to decide what we would order. We ordered blackened alligator tail as our appetizer. The hubby had the Seafood platter which was enough for two and I ordered the fish & shrimp with two sides. Everything was delicious and seasoned so well. I don’t like bland food without seasoning. The chef’s took there time and cooked with love it was good. We also tried an oyster shot which was a little spicy but different. All in all we enjoyed the experience.

Julie was an exceptional server as she was attentive and personable .My wife absolutely enjoyed the Tipsey tower. The gator tail was excellent. I had the fish and chips that was also amazing. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks Aiken Fish House!

Me and my sister ate here the other day. I really enjoyed the food. I loved the amount of fried pickles that were given and they tasted great! Are food took awhile to come and are waitress was a little rude. But I won't hold that against her everyone has bad days. Would I eat here again? Maybe...

This was our second time eating here and it’s so good! Food does take a bit longer than going to a chain restaurant but we are happy to wait! Our favorite place to eat in our new hometown.

Was looking for good wings. Unfortunately they weren't good... they were fantastic. Cooked fresh, so a little wait, but worth it. Staff is super friendly too! I took it to go.

Service was good, but she wasn't very personable. Chili was good but needed more of a sauce, plenty of meat. Clam chowder was very hearty. Cheese dip was different, a little thicker than I imagined. Yo mamma sandwich was ok. Wings were ok but I've had better. The flights were the highlight. Especially loved the #1 Kentucky bourbon barrel ale.

Incredible! Just had to go lunch and everything was fantastic. The fish sandwich was HUGE, crispy, and great flavor. The chicken sandwich was also HUGE and delicious. We had the sweet potato tater tots and coleslaw sides. Everything was perfect and it was under $30

Outstanding pub food. Did not expect many gluten free gf options - they had a few. Pork nachos are top notch. Hamburger steak w grilled onions is pretty good - nice portions. Good value for money. <$80 including drinks for a party of 3.

The food was great and the service was good. It was a little crowded at the time which does speak well of the service still be attentive. The servers did help each other out which I've seen be an issue at other places. To me that speaks well of the teamwork of the employees.

We always enjoy eating at Grumpy's. Good sandwiches, wings, tenders and sides. I don't drink, but my friends that do like the large selection of beers available. My favorite is their Chicken Tender Basket, with a side of onion rings. Large, tender, juicy chicken cooked perfectly! Delicious, and I dip them in BBQ or teriyaki sauce. My beautiful wife likes their generous sandwiches, with either Curly Fries or Fried Okra as a side.

Best overall experience we've had traveling so far ever! We stayed in the Hitchcock suite. Loved our room so much we ordered room service stayed in it for 2/3 of our visit. 🥰 Food was perfection EVERY meal. Portions and flavors on point. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert the small details are what make this place outstanding. Free games for families to play. Bar and live jazz music on Thursdays. The clientele are friendly and pleasant, most likely because the experience overall is such a genuine southern hospitality ambiance. Definitely want to come back to stay again!

My daughters 25 & 23 tried throwing a party for me for my 50th. The service was great, the food was great, but my kids were not set up for success by the event coordinator, Kathryn. Poor communication skills and only called us once after at least 5-10 emails, and multiple calls to basically every department at Willcox with no return call. Every email had a phone number attached. I spoke with her personally and she denied communicating with my young adults and put the blame on them . That’s not right. In the future, I would not host here. They definitely need help in event coordinating department. I saw her in Willcox that night and she never checked in on the party. Isn’t that the coordinator’s job? Anyway, on a good note. Matt called the following day and apologized to my daughters. Hats off to Matt, because she never called.

Nestled at the corner of Barnwell and Laurens, Betsy's Round the Corner is a charming eatery that captures the essence of classic American dining. This delightful café offers a menu filled with mouthwatering burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and ever-changing blue-plate specials—all crafted from scratch to ensure freshness and flavor. Whether you choose to dine indoors or enjoy your meal outside under an inviting umbrella, you'll be greeted by friendly staff who are eager to make your experience memorable.
Since me to the area,we have made it a point to try as many local restaurants as we can. Betsy's Round the Corner was next on our list to try. It's one of those You Could Walk Past it and never know it's there , that would be a huge mistake. Eat inside or dine out side under an umbrella. The staff is super friendly and quick. Place your order first and then sit down. I recommend the pimento cheese dip. It's amazing. They have changing blue plate special and a lot of be unique items. The entire place is very charming. We will definitely be back. Btw. Ice cream and craft beer a plenty.

Traveling through Aiken and found this cute little diner! Friendly staff! Burger and fries was delicious. My husband had the Murphy dog (chili was more like taco meat though) he said it was ok Upstairs was closed off however, there was plenty of seating indoors. There’s also outdoor tables with umbrellas if you prefer that dining experience. We had chocolate malts! They tasted alittle different than any we’ve ever had.

Great local fair. Lunch time crowd, fairly busy. Ordered at the counter. Food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Mostly self service. Burger and fries were good. I would order again. Soup was good, sandwich is what you would expect. . The brownie better than average. Love the atmosphere and the employees are helpful and friendly.

Arrived at restaurant around 3:15 ET, Tues Aug 20. It took a couple of minutes before someone approached me to see if anyone was getting me seated. I was wondering around a bit, taking pictures. Not sure if that caused any confusion. Once recognized I was seated promptly. The drink order was filled in under two minutes. I ordered Tuesday's blue plate special; pot roast with “mushroom" gravy. I selected the mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables for sides. It comes with a corn muffin. The meal was delivered pretty quickly. The pot roast was not unique in its taste, but was well prepared and flavorful. It was tender, with a slight amount of pink here and there. The brown gravy it came with did not have mushrooms. Was it mushroom flavored? I could not tell. It was however, prepared with the expected consistency and good flavor. I can take or leave mushrooms, but some customers might be disappointed that they were not present. My ”diner restaurant” expectations are somewhat “managed” regarding this type of thing. The mixed vegetables were well seasoned and tasty; if a bit soft. These are NOT the “seasonal” mixed vegetables I get at most places. I enjoyed these vegetables. I eat the variety served at most places (and believe them “healthy”) but normally find them light on taste and their contribution to the experience more “obligatory” than enthusiastic. The ones served at “Betsy’s Round the Corner" were a welcome change; even it the sodiium was higher than needed. The corn muffin was good. Not too dense, flavor was as expected. The blue plate by itself was $10.00. I found it well worth that money. So much better than the burger / fried chicken I normally fill “on the road” mealtimes with. I added a Pepsi and a frosted banana nut cake dessert to the meal. The mix was as expected with a good Pepsi. The cake was excellent. The soda and dessert brought the total to just over $17. Overall I felt the meal was a good value. I enjoyed the meal experience and am likely to dine there again, if in the area.

This was my 2nd time visiting Betsy's Round the Corner. The 1st experience was awful - food came out cold and it took forever to get our food. This was shortly after they opened so I assume they were just working out the kinks. My husband and I went as soon as they opened to beat the lunch crowd. We sat outside, because we love outdoor seating. I had a gyro with sweet potato fries and he had the reuben. Both were delicious! The service was quicker this time as well. I'm holding back 1 star because the waitress didn't rend to as much as we would have liked. Other than that, the experience was much better tha the first. We will go back!

We stopped at New Moon this afternoon for lunch after walking around downtown on a beautiful day. Nice little cafe, not a lot of seating. Friendly people and good service. I had the G-Love sandwich, London broil, provolone and onions, and it was good but not really meaty. My lovely wife had the Boss Lady's Chicken Salad and said it was fresh and delicious. But the star of the show was what we took to-go and ate when we got home. Two brown sugar cinnamon muffins! I wish we bought a few more. Maybe next time!

Just passing through and wanted some brunch on the way home. Found this super cute place. Very inviting, friendly people and the food was delicious. I got the smoked salmon on an everything bagel. Definitely one of the best I’ve had. The dill made it so fresh and delightful. The vanilla latte hit the spot and my guys breakfast sandwich was incredible. This is the epitome of a local coffee shop. Fabulous servers and wonderful atmosphere contribute to an artistic sense of the town. Roma’s restaurant Aiken is a popular spot known for its authentic and fresh-made Italian food. The menu includes favorites like meat ravioli, pizzas, and the highly recommended Chicken Parmigiana with rigatoni. Customers also rave about the delicious garlic knots and champagne vinaigrette dressing that come with their dinners. The restaurant offers a wonderful dining experience with excellent service from staff members like Kylie and Bryson.
Today was my very first visit. My friend took me to this fine establishment. For my Birthday. I ordered the lasagna and 2 meatballs and salad. I couldn't finish it all but, it was delectable. Our waitress was an angel ., can't remember her name, long dark hair. I shall return again soon. Thank you again

There's a lot to like at Roma's. They have a great sauce, and I like their meat ravioli and pizzas. But my favorite, pictured here, is the Chicken Parmigiana with rigatoni! They did some things very well others, not so well. I had Veal Marsala. I was quite curious as you don't find many veal dishes in this area. The veal was quite good and tender. The Marsala wine sauce was like no other I have had. It had mushrooms but, little if any Marsala.

Used to love going here for dinner but unfortunately over the past few months it seems to be going downhill in quality. I only have gotten the shrimp parm, pepperoni pizza , and lasagna. The shrimp parm is usually my go to. The pizza and lasagna used to be great but now its fairly mediocre. I have noticed they have far more customers so it could be just getting everyone in and out and as many people as they can get without focusing on quality of food. The establishment is also small. I will still visit every now and then just not as much as before.
Julia J — Google review
Ordered the mussels and only 5 opened and all the rest were closed , no good to eat . What restaurant just throws all the closed ones , like 10 of them in the dish like they are good . I mean who does that ? Nobody except Romas . I wanted a refund and the waiter was like no way , I'll give you 30% off . Never again. I told him forget it , I'll just pay the bill . What a dump .

Restaurant
The Variety Restaurant in Aiken is an old-fashioned eatery that is highly regarded. It may not be fancy, but it offers delectable food and has a friendly, efficient staff. Visitors often enjoy sharing a seafood platter with an additional potato as the options are diverse and the portions are generous. This quaint establishment, owned by a Greek individual, operates exclusively on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 4 to 9 pm.
My parents grew up in Aiken and recently took me here when we were in town visiting. I thought the seafood was fresh and very fairly priced. I got catfish, oysters, shrimp, scallops and deviled crab for $25. Unsure of the bad reviews about pricing on side items, but the restaurant is older; what else do you expect from a place that’s been there since 1931? Staff was awesome and very friendly. Highly recommended.

This place was recommended by a friend so I tried it out last night. Food was good but I must say but well overpriced. I ordered the steak and shrimp(10) for dinner, sat down ordered and got my sprite which was very stale and got another and told the server to try it and he claimed it was perfect so I changed it to coke but still the same so I hus didn't worry about it. Proceeded to bring me my food and packed it up to go but the server had to ask 3 times what I ordered n found out the to go was mine so they fixed that part. Ordered 10 shrimp and got 6 but they tried to charge me for 10, then the printer wouldn't work so I didn't worry about it. Mind you $48.99 for telegram dinner but got charged $70.62, sorry sc taxes not that high. Went inside to show frank, the owner, and all he said was he gve me a good deal as if I was aking for a break. Very nonchalant to say the lest, so I asked the waiter, his grandson, was he stupid or was he very stupid, are you smoking weed or what? I let them keep the extra $13 and walked out but I promise you this, yes the food is good but not worthwhile you charged me, didn't offer the diff bk BTW. I will never recommended or visit this place again. Frank was too interested in a lady he actually sat down with while she ate I guess and probably thought I wanted sum free, go figure. Sorry Variety, you deserve 0 stars.
Greg B — Google review
Heard about the place for years, so finally decided to give it a try. Was not impressed. I knew the food was expensive but don’t mind if the quality is there. The quality of food is subpar at best paid 38 dollars for a waffle house steak. Oyster stew was good but not 17 dollars a cup good, was obviously canned oysters. I don’t mind paying for good food I just don’t like paying 5 star prices for Captain Ds quality. Only giving 2 stars because service was excellent.

Great food and value. We had 12 raw oysters, 2 glasses of wine an enormous prime rib and a fried oyster plate for 59 bucks. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The decor is a bit rustic. It's sort of like an old seafood house down by the beach, like they used to be. If you're on a culinary adventure in Aiken, Shane's Rib Shack is an essential stop for BBQ lovers. This cozy counter-service chain has been serving up mouthwatering slow-smoked BBQ since 2002, featuring their secret recipe that keeps diners coming back for more. Their fall-off-the-bone baby back ribs and hand-chopped pork BBQ are simply irresistible. But don't overlook the other offerings!
All positive for me at Shane’s. Fast friendly service, tasty chicken by the pound and the water from the fountain station tasted good. Worth the trip!

This was our first time eating at Shane's Rib Shack. I had the 1/2 rack of ribs with BBQ beans, French fries and Texas toast. The ribs were good, but not the fall-off-the-bone kind that I prefer. Their prices were reasonable, and the service was excellent.

I didn’t walk away hungry!

Stopped here for a late lunch. We were the only ones in the restaurant, and our orders were ready very quickly. The staff was friendly, but the beverage area was filthy and covered with debris, which we were surprised at since the staff was just standing behind the counter chatting when we arrived. The floors are in need of a deep cleaning.....everything was dirty and sticky. The food was good, although not very warm...portions were plentiful. We both had ribs with two sides. Although their website advertises several sauce options, there was only one sauce on the table. Overall, probably not a place we would go to again since there are other BBQ restaurants in the area that we like better.

Oh my. So, I already knew the bbq was tasty because we've ordered it numerous times in Evans, GA. I also LOVE the peach cobbler. But this is the first time I've had one of their salads. I am always hesitant to order a salad at a restaurant that specializes in meat. It's rare to get a good ratio of toppings to salad, but it was spot on! My fork couldn't even reach the bottom of the container, on my first bite. Cucumbers and tomatoes were so fresh. And the chicken was seasoned to perfection. Would definitely order again.

I ordered 2 Big Daddy sandwiches and 3pc chicken tenders/with fries. The sandwiches were really greasy. Each time I picked up one of the sandwiches there was alot of greasy on my hands. Fries were ok but not that great. I was really disappointed. I use to eat at Shane's all the time. I won't be going back.

Chick-fil-A is a beloved fast-food destination that specializes in mouthwatering chicken sandwiches and crispy nuggets, complemented by a variety of fresh salads and sides. This popular chain has become a go-to spot for families looking to enjoy delicious meals together. In Aiken, Chick-fil-A stands out not just for its tasty offerings but also for its exceptional service. Diners often rave about the friendly staff who ensure that orders are accurate and delivered promptly, even during busy hours.
There is no fast food place that can compare to Chick-fil-A. They are the cleanest, with the friendliest staff, and very efficient, especially considering the amount of business the do. Their sandwiches are great, my favorite being the spicy chicken sandwich with American cheese and bacon, with some Texas Pete Hot sauce. And don't forget their waffle fries and a chocolate milkshake!
Kurt W — Google review
Always a great meal. The staff are super friendly. My only complaint is the traffic pattern is a little tight. I was in a larger vehicle and just made it harder to negotiate. It wasn't impossible both other locations flow better.
Matt G — Google review
Since the atmosphere was my car...but I love the food at Chick-fil-a and the staff are always pleasant. The orders are ALWAYS correct, every time. Lines are long but move fast. Many fast food places could learn alot from them! I know they've all tried to copy their chicken sandwich for years.
Charlene M — Google review
Ordered on the mobile app and went through the drive thru. As always, the staff was great and service was quick. The food abd drinks were good. My only complaint about this location is where you enter the drive through is the same place the cars exit and it is tight.
Jackee — Google review
Chick-fil-A is, in my opinion, the best restaurant out there. There's something truly special about their food that keeps me coming back for more. From the moment you step inside, the friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff set the tone for a great meal. One of my absolute favorites has to be their classic chicken sandwich—it's cooked to perfection every time, with that crispy outside and juicy inside. And let’s not forget about their fries! I can’t get enough of their waffle fries; they're perfectly seasoned and have the ideal crunch. Whether I’m in the mood for a quick bite or a full meal, Chick-fil-A always hits the spot. Plus, their sauces are so delicious—each one adds a unique flavor that enhances the whole experience. Overall, it's just a great place to grab a delicious meal, and I love everything about it!
Lizzy P — Google review
For 2 consecutive visits at this location we have requested extra salad dressing with our order and not received it. Why would anyone order 3 salads and only 2 packs of dressing? One should not have to park and inventory the bag to find the dressing shortage concealed in the bottom of the bag. Then upon reentry to the store there is no management available and just a blank stare at the counter. Fix this Mr Tom Johnson Jr.
Greg E — Google review
The chicken was delicious and hot. The fruit cup was made from fresh fruit. The place was way too crowded to eat in. No where to park in their lot. Drive thru way to busy to use. Had to go in to carry out.

Nestled in the heart of Aiken County, JC's Seafood is a family-owned gem that brings together the best of coastal cuisine. Known for its delightful Bait Shack, this restaurant offers a charming dining experience on a screened porch with rustic picnic tables. The menu features an array of seafood delights, including traditional Low Country Boils where you can customize your feast with options like crab legs, mussels, and lobster tails.
JC's is a great discovery. 👍 We had a LowCountry Boil with so much delicious shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn on the cob. I felt as if we were on a little vacation. You order the fresh ingredients and then sit in a water-cooled, enclosed patio. Kyle was great and helpful. Can't wait to go back. 🍤🦀🐟🥔🌭🍋 If you love seafood & a bucket of cool ones 🍻, live anywhere near Aiken, and have not gone to JC's Seafood on Whiskey, Well, you're missing out. #H💙ME

My wife and I were vacationing here in Aiken and decided to visit JC's. We both ordered the Low Country Boil with the Crab legs. It was absolutely amazing. Well seasoned, very generous portions. And the service was very welcoming. If and when we return to Aiken, we will definitely be stopping at JC's.
RockHead85 — Google review
Edit- upgrading last couple times I’ve went the food quality and service has greatly improved. Dining in at the bait shack is no frills and cozy. Support local business if you can. My only complaint is that fish information is not available. I want to know where it was sourced, farmed or wild caught. Would be nice to see this information upfront. The main draw here is the low-country broil. Just make sure you get spicy... hot isn't really hot in my view. edit - Updated review dropped 2 star for customer service. This location is OK but oftentimes I feel like the staff could care less about customers coming in and just wants to rush them out. If I'm the only customer how about making small talk once in a while? This is a local place not some corporation. Forming relationships with customer should be at your forefront of your business model. That said food is still good so 3 stars for that.

I was in Aiken for 5 days and this was the best meal I had! Got the shrimp, sausage, potato, and corn dish. It was hard to put down when full. SO GOOD!

As a Maryland native, I am serious about my seafood and had all but given up on seafood in the CSRA. Then, I found JC's Seafood. The crabs, low-country boil, shrimp, and fish are to die for. The best seafood I have had outside of Maryland.

In Aiken for a vacation stay. Ate the low country spicy boil, it was amazing. These guys know how to do it right. Generous portion cooked to perfection. I would absolutely eat this again. Don't hesitate.

Coolest place.....the amount of food he served us was amazing. We have never been there before but we will be back . We had a spicy boil bag with a lobster tail and it was a huge portion. Thank you to the employee he was helpful and so nice.
Nic C — Google review
I need to preface this by saying I have not tried the food yet, but it smells amazing. I went in just looking for something small. I ordered just an individual boil, but I got crawfish instead of shrimp. The gentleman at the counter was nice enough to make that work for me, so when I got the food I wasn’t expecting what I got. He ended up giving me all the crawfish they have, and enough sides for a family of 4 lol. The people working deserve a raise, they were so kind and then went above and beyond.

Have been looking for real Thai food for a while and came across this place on a visit to Aiken. Everything about this place was very good. From the time we walked in until the time we left the customer service was great! The food, oh my, it was so good! The taste and flavor was true to the meals. We ordered spring rolls, the pad Thai noodle dish and the Thai fried rice. I will definitely drive the hour plus it to me to get here and come back!

Authentic Thai cuisine, easy access in the heart of Aiken, South Carolina —super friendly owners, prompt service What a treat! This place has been in business six years, but I just noticed it a few weeks ago. They serve all the Thai hits, including Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, range of curries and sticky rice for dessert. I ordered Tofu Pad Thai with Fried Tofu appetizer—it was great!—reasonably priced, about $24 total. Excited to return for one of their curry dishes!

First time here - will definitely be back! We were greeted and treated nicely by the waitress. Our food came out super fast too! I had the Beef Pad Ka Na, which was delicious 🤤 My husband had the Rad Na with mild spice and really liked it (I don't really like spice so even the mild was too much for me). The atmosphere was also nice for a quick lunchtime meal. I would recommend!

The two working up front were nice and friendly. I don't think the price is bad compared to other Thai restaurants I have visited,it's actually cheaper here. I got pad thai, spring rolls, and fish balls. Fish balls were pretty good. Egg rolls were good just vegetarian. The pad thai was nice and hot it was cooked with a little too much oil for liking.

Mr. Ron and his family have always gone above and beyond in service, food quality, and atmosphere. I personally always get crawfish, my family members LOVE their seafood pasta, loaded oysters, and too many other dishes to list. Their food portions are always plentiful, fresh, and tasty. Many family seasoning secrets in a lot of dishes. We frequent their establishment quite often, and always will.

Worth the wait! My husband and I made a 7pm reservation for dinner on the Saturday night before Valentine's Day. The restaurant is small, was expectedly crowded and like all restaurants today, short-staffed. However, it was disappointing to wait at the hostess stand for a full 15 minutes with no greeting or recognition from staff at all. Finally, bartender Ron told us someone would be with us shortly. When another 5-10 minutes passed, my husband walked to the back of the restaurant to the bar and asked Ron if we could get seated since three tables had become available since our arrival. Ron made it happen and ended up being our server as well. Ron was great! Friendly, attentive, personable and very generous with the wine pour.😁Thankfully, the food was worth the wait. I had the shrimp pasta, husband had the crab leg sampler. Both portions were huge and the food was delicious. Thanks, Ron!

So far this is a first class place. Very reasonable prices. Excellent bar drinks. Ok, this is indeed the go to spot for seafood. The staff treats everyone great. The shrimp, sausage, potato and corn are seasoned just right. By the way the sausage is very tender. If you want to eat somewhere that has delicious seafood and be treated like a king this is your place. Thank you Erika.

This place has everything conceivable for making a person feel at home apart from their home surroundings. I like Palmetto Seafood Bar so much. The atmosphere, food, the customer service makes me want to dine in everyday. Everything on that menu is palpable and tasty. I reside in Hephzibah, Ga. If I didn't live so far, I would probably be in attendance there @ least 3 days out of the week. Palmetto staff, continue doing what you are doing. By the way, the smiles, the laughter and the joy that they bring when serving their customers! Showing a photo of my daughter. There were 3 of us enjoying these meals!

The restaurant is cute, great location, lots of potential. The waitress Bri was friendly yet seemed inexperienced with the menu. It took almost 30 minutes for our bar drinks to arrive and longer than that for our appetizers. The gator bites were worth the wait. Very delicious! The dining room floor was very slippery and the bathroom was filthy! The food was reasonably priced unfortunately all of our food came out at different times. I was the last to get my food. I ordered a ribeye rare and unfortunately it was ruined. It was medium well when I ordered it rare. I just asked her to remove it from the bill because my family was already eating. There was no way it'd be ready before they were done. This was my first time eating there and I highly doubt I'd go back.

This individual does not know how to treat customers accordingly. I would not recommend this particular location to anyone that has any class and or coordination towards being a decent individual. This man is clearly the type of individual who does not understand nor does he appreciate his customers. We went into this location on 3 different occasions with different people each time we visited Ray tavern. In all three cases every time we went into this location we were greeted by the individual who runs it. I particularly like going to places that has class, that respect their customers, understand the true meaning of $1 no matter if an individual is spending $1 for a cup of tea, if he is spending $30 on food for him and his friends. I will never go back into this location nor am i interested in learning anything else about an individual who clearly has no self respect and dignity for him and his family.

Attacked. Experienced feigned attempted vehicular homicide by resident in red ford truck living in trailer to the right of the pub. He almost lost his life in his own front yard. Almost rammed his truck into my girlfriend on the passnger side of my car. I Went to pull into rays pub and realized immediately that there was signage saying no thru or turn arounds, and a chain. Before I could correct my mistake, someone driving the red ford truck living in the trailer to the right charged my vehicle. Had he made contact I would've opened fire, I almost did as he was charging and would've been justified. I'm considering filing a report with the aiken county sheriffs department Monday. I hope the driver wasn't the owner of this establishment. This place is clearly somewhere where cousins meet up for a drink before reproducing.

For over two decades, Julie herself has been at the helm, ensuring that every sandwich is crafted with the freshest ingredients. Whether you're craving a hearty sub or a refreshing salad, this cozy eatery offers an array of delicious options made to order. Patrons rave about the soft bread and generous portions that elevate each meal beyond the ordinary.
A local and family owned place, formerly a SubStation II Location! Service was fantastic. The sandwich is fantastic. It’s a diverse group of people that like to eat here .. young, old and from every background. This is a great great place to go for a quick bite to eat or a great sandwich in this area. The Place a proud American Owned business and proudly supports our military.

I’m in Aiken for work and was recommended this sandwich shop and it did not disappoint. I ordered in person because I wanted to ensure my oil and vinegar was on the side. I ordered the #13 Italian on white (half size) and got a combo with chips and a drink. I placed my order and then they call you back over to discuss your toppings. I had it “all the way” which is Lett/Tom/onion with oregano, S&P and oil/vinegar. I also had them add pickles and jalapeños. Since I wasn’t going to eat it for another couple of hours, I asked them to give me the oil and vinegar on the side and they gave me two small cups of it. I’ll definitely be going back this trip and in the future. Highly recommend!

If you’re in the mood for a sub sandwich that goes beyond the ordinary, Just Julie’s is the place to go. Tucked away with a cozy, no-frills atmosphere, this sandwich shop delivers big flavors and even bigger portions. The subs here are a cut above—stacked high with fresh, quality ingredients and crafted with care. From the moment you walk in, the friendly staff make you feel welcome. The menu offers a solid variety, from classic Italian subs and turkey clubs to more inventive creations with house-made sauces and unexpected toppings. The bread is always fresh—soft on the inside with a perfect crust—and it holds up well even with the heartiest fillings. What really sets Just Julie’s apart is the attention to detail. Each sandwich feels thoughtfully made, not slapped together. The meats are sliced just right, the veggies are crisp, and the balance of flavors is spot-on. You can tell they care about getting it right every time. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or picking up a few subs for a family outing, Just Julie’s delivers consistent quality and satisfying flavors. It’s a local gem worth supporting—and once you try one of their subs, you’ll definitely be back for more.

No more franchise subs for me. This is now my go-to sandwich shop in Aiken. Everyone is so friendly. The employees actually care. And the atmosphere is so welcoming. I could tell there were a lot of regulars with the interactions I saw with the employees. Oh, and the sub was fantastic!

Stopped by for the first time in search of a good salad. Staff was very welcoming and took their time explaining all of the menu options. The place is very low-key with a simple, small town feel—which I love. Prices are reasonable. Italian salad was 10/10. Will be back—thank you!
S. S — Google review
Chaos! We arrived during shift change that unfortunately we paid for. It was not good for a quick dinner. We had chips and tea. My chips were not fresh! We didn't have time to eat the sandwiches so we saved them for later. My goto sandwich is a Reuben. My husband got a Gyro. Both were so disappointing! Reuben was meat a slice, one slice! of cheese and NO sauerkraut! From Google: To make a proper Reuben sandwich, start by preparing the key components: heat the corned beef and drain the sauerkraut thoroughly to prevent a soggy sandwich. Use rye bread, preferably Jewish or marble rye, and spread butter on one side of each slice. For the dressing, use either Thousand Island or Russian dressing; the latter, made with mayonnaise, ketchup, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, and sugar, is often preferred for its authentic flavor. Assemble the sandwich by layering one side of the bread with dressing, followed by Swiss cheese, hot corned beef, and drained sauerkraut, then top with the remaining bread slice, dressing side down. Grill the sandwich in a skillet over medium heat, butter-side down, until golden brown and the cheese is melted, which typically takes 3-4 minutes per side. For best results, cover the sandwich with a lid during cooking to trap steam and melt the cheese, then remove the lid to crisp the final side.
Lisa D — Google review
I had a very disappointing experience at Just Julie’s. As someone from out of town, I didn’t realize you’re not supposed to order your toppings at the register. Instead of politely explaining, the older lady running the cashier with purple earrings (65+) started yelling at me loud enough for the whole restaurant to hear — incredibly unprofessional and embarrassing. The food didn’t make up for it either. My sandwich was dry, the wheat bread tasted old, and overall it was not enjoyable. My mom ordered the chicken salad salad, and the lettuce was wilted and unappetizing. Between the rude service and the poor quality of the food, I definitely would not recommend this place.

Charlie's Fish Market is Aiken's oldest restaurant, operating since 1909 and located at its present spot since 1985. While most customers opt for takeout, there are also tables available for dining in. Visitors have raved about the unique flavor of the fish, particularly enjoying the combination of mustard and hot sauce as a condiment. The market is known for its excellent service, with an older Greek lady and a polite gentleman with an accent receiving special mentions from patrons.
My son introduced me to this spot about 3 years ago and every time I'm in Aiken I stop buy to get fish. I love the service provided by the owner and her staff. It's always a pleasure to visit and eat here. The price is good as well.

We had a birthday luncheon at Rose Hill/The Stables and it couldn’t have gone any better. Sadie and Chloe (who took care of us) both were on point at every step, with suggestions up front and throughout service - they really made it a success. Everyone complimented the food as well, especially the French Toast and Shrimp and Grits. The Speakeasy Room in the Stables turned out to be a perfect spot for 12 people for lunch. Most importantly, the birthday girl was thrilled. As a service industry professional myself, I have nothing but compliments for the staff, the overall operation, and their flexibility in accommodating numerous special requests. Thank you so much for everything.

Everyone on staff has been nice but confused. We reserved a table a week ahead after emailing twice and getting no response, we called and they finally confirmed the reservation. We showed up and they had no reservation for us. They ended up working it out. They gave us the menus and failed to inform us of which food and drinks were no longer available so it took us several tries to complete our order. Staff also failed to properly where masks during COVID-19. Not a great system to ensure safety during the pandemic. Drinks and appetizers have been good so far.

Excellent food and service. The atmosphere is rustic chic. Portions are generous and prices are moderate. The new menu is somewhat limited but our table had 4 of the meals and they were quite well prepared. Recommended.

Finally a restaurant that has actual keto options! I’m so excited I found this place! Food was great and the owner was just the nicest. Will definitely be back!

A true little gem in Aiken! My husband’s mother is a trained southern cook from the Deep South with a degree in food science so it is very hard to impress my husband’s sweet tooth. Jen’s banana pudding got an instant five star rating from him so it’s legit. Her menu also consists of southern comfort food options as well homemade keto and desserts! Come support a great local business!

I purchased a keto shepherds pie made with cauliflower. It was so convenient to purchase the casserole and put it in the oven for a healthy choice dinner. The portion was great for 2 and tasted wonderful. There was a good balance of meat and cauliflower. I can't wait to try more delicious meal options.

Nestled in the heart of Aiken, The Pizza Joint is a vibrant local restaurant and bar chain that specializes in crafting delicious brick-oven pizzas, calzones, and sandwiches. This casual eatery offers a welcoming atmosphere perfect for families and friends alike. During my visit, I was drawn to their Detroit-style pizza after hearing rave reviews from both a friend and the attentive waitress—who certainly knows her stuff!
Good outdoor seating for us and the dogs. The food came out pretty quick and was delicious. Large portions great to take home for left overs.

I had such a great experience! From the warm welcome to the relaxing ambiance, everything was just right. Their Hawaiian pizza was an absolute standout - perfectly crisp crust, just the right amount of sweet pineapple balanced with savory ham, and a delicious sauce that brought it all together. The staff were attentive without being pushy, and the overall vibe made it a fun and comfortable night out. I'll definitely be returning and recommending this place to friends. Thanks for a wonderful meal!

Stopped here with friends and had a great experience. The service was prompt and friendly, and the prices were extremely reasonable. We had pizza and calzones and everything came out hot and fresh and was very tasty. The calzones were large and filled with lots of cheese and toppings. They came with a side of marinara sauce that was very good as well. The pizzas had a great crust....medium thin on the bottom and thicker on the edges. They make their crusts each day and they are much better than pre-made crusts. The pizzas had plenty of cheese and toppings as ordered and tasted yummy. We will definitely go back again soon. Parking is right in front of the building or across the street, and there is a wheelchair ramp near the front of the building.

Visited here during lunchtime on a weekday. Moderately crowded, service was still outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious and the marinara sauce was unbelievable. I had the fried ravioli and a small pepperoni and cheese pizza absolutely delicious.

Nestled in the heart of Aiken, South Carolina, Mellow Mushroom Aiken is a vibrant pizzeria that perfectly blends creativity with comfort. This funky eatery boasts an eclectic decor filled with art and offers a diverse menu featuring stone-baked pizzas, calzones, and an impressive selection of craft beers. Locals from nearby Clearwater, Graniteville, and Windsor flock to this beloved spot for its delicious offerings.
My family and I ate at Mellow mushroom the other day and I was pretty satisfied. I didn't like the presentation of the wings. I felt like they could have mixed them in the sauce, but hey I don't mind getting my fingers a little messy. The pizza was hot and tasted great. We had meat lovers and chicken buffalo. Let me tell you the chicken buffalo is not for lactose intolerant folks.

Fun, funky, pizza shop. Great drink selection, and the pizza is delicious. A small 10" is perfect for 1 person. They have some funky pizza's that will knock your socks off. We entered on the back side where the patio is, on Whisky Alley, you cant miss the place with giant mushrooms and the Grateful Dead Dancing beers. It was a Saturday afternoon and it was busy, but there were plenty of tables available. Parking is pretty easy on the street, We were there beginning of March so it was off season. There was a kids birthday party going on while we were there, so we all sang happy birthday. The staff were on top of things and attentive to the table.

Place has gone downhill. I ordered a pineapple and ham pizza for pickup. Went to pay for it with gift card, they wouldn’t even accept it. The topping distribution is the worst I’ve seen. A toddler could put toppings on a pizza better. Some pizza doesn’t even have pineapple on it. I would expect better if I’m paying $30 for the pizza

I ordered the house pizza no tomatoes. I must admit I’m disappointed in the presentation of this pie. The toppings could’ve been distributed evenly across the entire pie. It appears to have been just thrown together.

A good option for down south eating. Chicken, ribs, Mac and cheese. You know the drill. Make sure you get the bread with the butter. I had the sweet tea. It wasn't very sweet, but that's as ok. Some places serve syrup in a class with ice! This trip I had the fried honey chicken. That bird was delicious. The buttermilk crust was crispy and surprisingly well seasoned. The chicken was tend r and moist. I had broccoli and mashed sweet potatos as sides. The broccoli was boiled and soft. Fine if you like that style. Some prefer steamed with a little more crunch. Sweet potatoes see you tomorrow like a casserole style. They weren't light and fluffy like a mashed potato. Little more firm and dense. Didn't make it bad. They had good flavor and weren't overly sweetened. I enjoyed the meal and ate every thing off my plate. The menu is reasonably priced and seems to have a number of specials available as well. I just wish I had gone on a Wednesday instead of a Tuesday. Why? FREE PIE!! I always look at an establishment before I decided to eat there. This place was clean and while presented.

Me and my family ate her this past Sunday after church. The service was good our waitress Ana was amazing checked on us often. we had an appetizer of fried pickles. I was a little disappointed with the quantity of the fried pickles for the price. I thought I would get a lot more. I also ordered the catfish and it tasted pretty good. My green beans were so mushy. I didn't like that at all.My husband got the burger. I believe he enjoyed it for the most part. I wish the burger came with lettuce and tomato or at least have it on the side. I also ordered a salad. The salad was very generic and nothing special with the ranch dressing. The rolls were warm and tasty as well. The cocktails were really good. Would I eat here again? Maybe if some suggested it.

We haven't been to O'Charley's for a few years, but decided to stop there today for a nice Sunday lunch. Very nice place with comfortable booths. For starters (and I was hungry) they brought us a basket of three good-size warm and scrumptious rolls with butter. Did I mention they were delicious? Well, so was the second basket we (meaning me) devoured. I had the top sirloin and chicken tenders combo dinner with a smashed potato and loaded potato soup for my two side dishes. Hmmm. Maybe I better go on a diet tomorrow... The soup was very good, maybe a little cheesier than some, but I like cheese. The steak and smashed potato were also good as expected. The chicken tenders were very good and I had BBQ sauce for dipping. My beautiful wife had the fried shrimp dinner with a mashed sweet potato. She said the shrimp was delicious! Servings were generous and we left feeling happy and full. Our server, Anna, was friendly and helpful! Her service was prompt and she was there with food or refills when needed. One final note; I got a slice of cherry pie to go. I haven't had it yet, but I think I hear it calling me ...

I'm updating my previous review as this restaurant has really taken a nosedive the last couple of times I've been here, they don't seem to have a lot of staff working the floor, so service can be a bit slow, but it was nice, and friendly. The food was not great I had the steak, and chicken tenders combo, I ordered it medium rare, it was overcooked to done on the edges, it was dry, and almost flavorless lacking any hint of quality beef, I had the Mac, & Cheese side it was mostly bland noodles with no sauce, or hint of cheese flavor, the mashed sweet potatoes was just bland, & lastly the Chicken tenders were over cooked, & dry. I went on a Sunday after church, and now I understand why the place was 3/4's empty when I remember it use to being packed almost every day of the week. My bill was $50 for 2 people plus tip. Also the parking lot is a hazard with huge potholes that cause small ponds to form. Needless to say as a long time customer until they improve, and fix things I sadly won't be going back.

Stopped here for a late lunch. It was our first time trying this place, so we were excited to try something new. We both had the Prime Rib Parmesan Pasta special. It was a large portion of pasta with an alfredo sauce, and it had chunks of prime rib and mushrooms mixed in. I don't eat mushrooms, so I requested that mine be left off, but I was told it was already pre-made, so that was not an option. The food was pretty good, although I definitely would've preferred mine without the mushrooms. The dish was really salty for me, but my hubby said his was not bad. The sauce was also a little greasy....like an alfredo sauce that was made previously and reheated. The service was good, friendly and efficient. Prices were good, and we were happy to still be able to get a lunch special at 2:30pm. We will give this place another try, and try a different dish next time. The menu has a lot of variety to choose from, and the location is convenient.

It’s a clean nice place. The staff was very friendly. The food tasted really good. Even though I didn’t want my steak that well done but it was still good. Will come back to taste something different. Maybe try their margaritas next time.

O'Charley's Restaurant Review – Overall Rating: 2.5/5 Appetizer: Fried Pickle Chips – 1/5 The appetizer was excessively greasy, which overwhelmed the natural flavor of the pickles. The texture and taste were significantly compromised as a result. Beverage: Sweet Tea – 2/5 The first glass had an unpleasant taste, resembling a mix of unsweetened tea or an artificial sweetener such as Sweet'N Low. The second glass was notably better, though still only average in quality. Entrée: Double Bacon Cheeseburger – 2.5/5 The burger was quite greasy, a common drawback with smash-style burgers ive personally encountered. While the overall flavor was acceptable, it lacked anything particularly memorable or compelling. I requested the burger with only pickles—omitting lettuce, tomato, and onion—but received only three pickle slices. Given the reduction in toppings, a more generous portion of pickles would have been appreciated. The bacon was a redeeming element, offering a thick cut and a pleasant Applewood-smoked flavor. Side Dish: French Fries – 2/5 The fries were served lukewarm and were underwhelming in flavor. While edible, they fell short of expectations. Service: 4/5 The staff was friendly and courteous throughout the visit. However, there was a noticeable delay in receiving a drink refill, despite the restaurant being relatively quiet at the time. This raises concerns about potential wait times during busier periods. Final Assessment: While the service was commendable, the overall dining experience did not align with the cost. The quality of food was lacking across multiple courses, resulting in a disappointing visit. Overall Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars

Outback Steakhouse is a lively Australian-themed restaurant chain that specializes in serving delicious steaks, seafood, and other hearty dishes typically found in a steakhouse. When visiting the Outback location in Aiken recently, the writer was impressed by the attentive and friendly staff, from the hostess to their server Dylan. The store manager Roger went above and beyond by personally checking on them throughout their meal, making them feel like old friends rather than just customers.
Haven't been in years! Had a great experience with the food and the time it took to have our food prepared. The waitress took too long in between orders. She was friendly, but she was more interested in the table with the customers she was familiar with.

Service was ok. The only thing that was decent was the steak. I asked for A-1 and when they brought it out, the bottle was about empty and the top was nasty. My mom asked for extra salad dressing, and never got it. I will not be coming back.

Yesterday, I ordered dinner through DoorDash. I ordered Alice Spring Chicken, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, and a Bloomin' Onion Appetizer. I received hard, bland green beans and a very burned Bloomin' Onion. This was very pricey and I am very disappointed. Frankly, I'm appalled that the chef allowed this very chard appetizer to go out of the kitchen and served to a customer. Please see the attached photo. I'd like to hear from the Manager. Also, I definitely won't be getting food delivered from this restaurant again.

I ordered delivery. Check out my photos. I evidently got some type of hybrid shrimp fused with a scallop and then flattened and yes it tasted like it looks. Outback never fails to disappoint me. Won’t be going back. Oh yes it cost me 60 bucks too.

We've gone three times now. Each time have had the same server and host( we get there at open on fridays) and each time has been very welcoming and nice. The portions are generous and the quality of food is good. The staff are sweet and smile whether they are running the food or cleaning off tables across the restaurant they will help with whatever. My wife and I will continue to come to this place solely off the attentiveness and the respectful nature of the front of house staff. Thank you for a positive experience when most restaurant experiences are sub par to say the least. We love this location and will be many more times to come. Also if the owner can pin point who our server was id really appreciate if they would tell her she did and has done a great job. We were guest 0001 and our most recent visit was 09/05/2025 at 11 am.

We had a great experience at this Outback. At first I thought our server was going to be not so good. I was wrong! We had Jacob as our server and he killed it. The food was very good. My only complaint is that the filets that we ordered were very small and for the price is was not completely satisfied. In spite of that A+ across the board.

We were seated in a reasonable time. The server came to our table about 5 minutes after. We ordered with a blooming onion. It was good. We waited for our order about 15 minutes. When i the steaks came they were not good. They had been seasoned several times and it was as salty as the sea and smell of herbs we don’t use. We were up half the night with upset stomachs. We have eaten there several times and everything was good. something has happened. Our 13 oz steak for 2 ended up over $110. Not a good night.

I was going to contact the regional manager on the store because I have not been in a longhorns in a while but when I walked in there and saw lobster tail on the floor for over a half hour as well as not being attended to when the place only had about maybe seven families and or just people eating and the food was dry on the New York side of the t-bone but the tenderloin side had a good flavor and this restaurant has serious potential but you might need to go in and do some up training I know that I would not recommend this place to anyone and really I should be given back my whole check that was 75.00 for four people. I had family from Florida come up and they were appalled but I was more appalled than they were. So if the regional manager would like to reach out and give us credit and give us another opportunity to re rate this place would be the proper thing to do.

For some reason, I just cannot get my state prepared properly when I have dinner here. They always want to prepare my steak again and bring it out, but by then everyone else is done eating. This is a place I have been to every time we are in town. This time will be the last. Ribeye medium rare should be a warm red center. I had the waitress look at it and she said it was medium /medium well. She asked if I wanted a replacement, which I declined as it had already taken a long time to get our order. What she didn't do... a manager should have came over and verified, this is a steak place and if they can't cook a steak to order then maybe they need a new cook. The Ribeye wasn't very good either, very tough. She also didn't refill our water even though she came by several times. Seems the wait staff don't really care for their customers. This was my last time there .

We had an early dinner and the place to ourselves. Very soothing music and low level lighting added to the ambiance. I ordered chicken with garlic sauce, extra spicy. It was quite savory with an adequate amount of chicken, broccoli, mushroom, zucchini and onion. My wife had the sesame chicken. She noted that it was all white meat with a pleasing crunch and with a sweet brown sauce. The white rice in both dishes was cooked perfectly. I would give the food 4.5 stars if available. NEW EDIT I returned to this restaurant and had a not so pleasant experience. I had a spicy shrimp and chicken combo dish. Two hours later and sorry, but my guts are now liquefied! I write this while riding the toilet, waves of gut wrenching pain terminating in a terrible black flood.... In hindsight it was probably my fault for ordering spicy.

So today I went to this place expecting to eat pho. I was almost deterred by the rating, but were big pho fans so we will always shoot our shot. When we arrived we waited almost 15 minutes before someone even arrived at the table to take our order. We ordered the soft shell crab as an appetizer, and got 2 small pieces of crab and the rest was vegetables. Crab pricing for veggies not cool but ehh. Then our "pho" arrived. I have never seen so many noodles in a pho in my life. The broth had zero flavor, the pork was over cooked. The noodles looked like spaghetti, they definitely were not rice noodles the we got the tower. the dumplings were hard as a rock the buns tore apart as we removed them from the parchment paper... we ate the food because we don't like making a show but this was the first and last time we step foot in the place. you want real Pho go to Pho Augusta No delivery 4045 Jimmie Dyess Pkwy, Augusta, GA 30909

3.5 ⭐️ would be most appropriate. Service was standard. Our sushi was better quality than our entrees. They have paper signs on the tables advising that their items are up to $3.50 higher than listed on the menu which I’m not a fan of. I want to know exactly what I’m paying before I order something. The calamari is worth the menu price but a $3.50 increase wasn’t. Overall the food is better here versus some other places in Aiken.

Got seated right away. Ordered cucumber rolls, egg rolls, spring rolls, summer rolls, and two bowls of chicken thin rice noodle soup. I would definitely recommend the spring rolls and the chicken thin rice noodle soup. There is a bar here so you can order a beverage of your choice. AnShu Asian Cafe may appear unassuming from the outside, but once inside, it reveals a contemporary and well-designed space perfect for enjoying a variety of Asian cuisines. The menu offers a diverse range of dishes inspired by Korean, Chinese, and Thai flavors. The presentation of each dish is exquisite, and the flavors are delightful. Some recommended dishes include the Curry Chicken, salt and pepper chicken served with Meifun rice noodles on a bed of green vegetables infused with garlic.
We've been to AnShu several times, but this is my first review after last night's dinner. It's a very nice and attractive restaurant, with multiple rooms, and it's larger than it appears from outside. I started with the hot & sour soup and it was excellent. For my entree I had Sweet and Sour Chicken with fried rice. Delicious - possibly the best I've had. My lovely wife had fried shrimp with chicken and just considered it ok, a little bland. Her beautiful daughter enjoyed shrimp rolls, and then had the MooShu dinner with tofu and said everything was very good. Our server, Trey?, was friendly and quick with everything we ordered. Finally, we shared a chocolate cake. I'm sorry I forgot to take a picture, but it looked so absolutely scrumptious that we devoured it immediately!

Really nice place! Andrew provided excellent service. The lunch prices were very reasonable and the portions were good. The garlic green beans are a necessity… We also got the appetizer sampler, chicken curry, shrimp fried rice and everything was delicious.

Man o man has this placed changed since our last visit. The service was very good and the restaurant was very clean, but the food.....you got to be kidding. Both of our dished looked identical yet we were assured they were not the same. ( However the server did say they actually have to ask which is which so as to serve the correct dish to the right person.) Both dishes were soaked in a sauce not splashed and it made it very difficult to eat, Our last couple of visits were totally different than this one and we will steer away and go elsewhere in the future. PS: The server was excellent by the way !!

Update: plenty of food for the price. Upscale Chinese. We (I and my now-husband) had a wonderful experience hosting our wedding reception here. The owner was more than willing to help us plan seating arrangements and the food to serve to our guests (25 total). I had friends and family members who are vegan; this restaurant offers vegan and vegetarian options. They are very accommodating to any food allergies and vegan/vegetarians dishes. They won't lie about the ingredients. I really want to thank our waiter (I wish I remember his name..); we only had him to serve the 25 of us. Plus, it was an unexpected busy Friday night when Roma's closed for no reason that added the influx of people. FYI - all the staff wore mask per required. Finally, thank you for allowing us to have our wedding reception here at AnShu's. We are very grateful especially when it was right before CDC loosen up it's mandate.

We did have to wait quite a bit but that was because they were extremely busy due to the Woodside Fireworks Show going on that night and the other female server seated two other groups that came in after us who also did not make reservations — John noticed what happened and made sure that our party of four was next to be seated. Note: The other server didn't acknowledge us or even give us an estimated wait during the approximately 45 minutes we stood at the front. Overall excellent service from John, he was so nice to all of us — he even asked everyone at our table for their names. He transformed our experience to a very pleasurable one! His professionalism and kindness meant a lot to all of us. The food was very fresh, and came to us in a reasonable time despite how busy they were! They have an appetizer on their menu that gives you 2 of each of the asterisked appetizers, all four of them were amazing. My wife and I opted for the Mixed Veggies, White Rice, and brown sauce (Beef / Shrimp) and loved it! Our friends tried the Lo Mein and enjoyed it as well! Once again, thank you so much John for the awesome experience and we can't wait to come back and see you!

This is a very nice place to eat. The staff was amazing they are very quick and attentive. The food came out super fast. The food was delicious perfect amount of spices and cooked perfectly. They have a unique menu took me a few minutes to go through it but it gives you all kind of options. Definitely will be back.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is a popular American eatery that offers familiar and satisfying cuisine. The establishment also features an on-site general store, adding to its appeal. Customers can conveniently order their meals through Door Dash and opt for curbside pickup, which ensures a prompt service. The staff members are friendly and cheerful, as evidenced by the pleasant lady who delivered the order with a smile. The food is served piping hot and freshly prepared, while accuracy in fulfilling orders is maintained.
Had not been to Cracker Barrel in years. We are in town and asked the Grand Kids where the wanted to eat. They all shouted "CRACKER BARREL" Honestly I was shocked. Thought they would have chosen Chic Fila and we probably would have spent more there without the home type feeling. Our server Maddie was phenomenal. How you always find great help baffles me. We tipped her well but she more than earned it. The food was all hot and fresh despite our large crowd and our expected 45 minutes wait was less than 15 minutes. The rest room was spotless. Thank You Cracker Barrel for making our day and Merry Christmas❤️

The baked macaroni was horrible. It literally tasted like dish water. Everything else was great but I think the iced latte for $3.99 is over priced.

Great menu variety. Best fried chicken, breakfast is great also. Take home meals at 6.00 is great with any food purchase. The sweet peach tea is very good. Campfire chicken special very very good.

Tried Cracker Barrel for the first time. I had the Bacon n’ Egg Hashbrown Casserole; it was a good blend of flavors and left me full. The coffee was good and strong. Wish the biscuits and gravy came out hot, but warm was sufficient. The staff were friendly. Service was slightly slow, but I doubt they are highly staffed on a Thursday morning. The store they have was packed full of a wide variety of products. Almost a little too packed, hard to walk around the fixtures. Overall, it’s a neat place to visit.

I recently had a fantastic experience at Cracker Barrel, and I wanted to give a shout-out to the amazing team there! From the moment I walked in, the service was top-notch. Our server was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. What really stood out, though, was the inclusive atmosphere created by the managers, Heather and Ricky. They were both so welcoming and made it clear that everyone was valued and respected. It’s rare to see such genuine care and dedication to creating a positive environment. The food was delicious, as always, but the exceptional service and inclusive environment truly made this visit memorable. Heather and Ricky are doing an outstanding job, and I can’t wait to go back!

Stopped here for lunch. It was about 60 percent full. Had to wait in the front for 5 minutes or so before we were seated. The waitress came immediately and we got out waters. Was a little while before she took our order, but we didn't mind. We ordered breakfast and lunch. The food came out fairly quick. I must say the fried chick was tasty. The breakfast food was not. My ham was tougher than cow hide and my sausage was drier than the Sahara. The eggs and pancakes were good. The cinnamon roll pie was not as good as it looked. It was cool. Would have been better hot. Got done. I must say, out server was one of the best. Went to pay at the counter. Only one person checking out and one person in front of me which was an employee. Looked like christmas gifts. The cashier could not get her info to come up, so there was a delay. Finally got the check paid and off we went. Overall, server excellent, breakfast food was not very good and chicken was great.

Ordered drinks and asked for rolls four times... Drinks arrived just before the food and rolls arrived AFTER the food. Food is cold, I ordered a sirloin steak with onions and gravy, a loaded baked potato and salad... A PLAIN cold steak with cold french fries with a side of okra arrived. Finally a baked potato was brought out -They are out of sour cream for LOADED baked potato. I wish someone told me before I ordered. The baked potato cold to the touch doesn't melt cheese or butter. Steak ordered with onions and gravy, when gravy arrived in a bowl, no onions because "there's no sauteed onions." Drink order was slow to the point I was ready to go a gas station down the street. The restaurant is clean and quiet NOT BUSY AT ALL to justify the poor service. I sent my food back, asked them to CANCEL my order and take it off my check. My girlfriend ordered Chicken and dumplings, corn and a salad with THOUSAND ISLAND DRESSING. The order arrived WITHOUT CORN and two containers of Ranch dressing. Server said they are out of thousand island dressing. Food was room temperature. Girlfriends brother ordered Mama's breakfast with extra butter and extra syrup. The eggs and french toast were cold and was only given ONE BOTTLE OF SYRUP and one scoop of butter. Couldn't melt the butter. Spoke to the manager (Jeremy) and he apologized and said "we don't offer thousand island dressing." He also said they do "have onions to saute."

I had a fantastic salad at Ferrando's today! It wasn't what I initially wanted, as I was craving their sausage sub or stromboli dishes, or even spaghetti or lasagna (all of which are delicious). However, due to my recent bloodwork results, I'm trying to reduce my weight and cholesterol levels, so I opted for a salad instead. To my delight, the lunch Greek salad with chicken exceeded my expectations. It was generously sized and packed with fresh ingredients.
My lovely wife and I stopped at Ferrando's today for lunch. It's been a while, we used to come here when she had Verizon cell service (their store is nearby; don't get me started on that subject...) I had their large pizza with double cheese and double pepperoni. It was excellent! One of the best I've had in Aiken. My sweetheart had the lasagna, and though it tasted good she found it a little soupy. As a result she had her eye on my pizza and said next time she'll get pizza. Our server Brittany did a fine job for us. Nice place and reasonable prices!

I’m actually very impressed with this restaurant. The pasta salad was delicious and the pizza my son ordered was delicious too. The service was great and it looked like there was only one server on the floor when we were eating. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. We went on a Sunday right around noon so even with the church crowd coming in it was a great experience for us. Plus the pizza made it back to Greenwood and the family liked it as well.

First time ordering pizza from here. I ordered a 20 inch meat lover's. It cost $30, which is quite a lot for a pizza, even one this large, so expectations were pretty high. I believe it came with the "standard" crust. I arrived and picked up my order 7 minutes before the "ready" time quoted on my online order. It looked like it had been sitting for a while and by the time I got it home, 7 minutes later it was cold. The pizza looked OK, but it's definitely nothing special. It tastes about as good as Pizza Hut or Domino's. It was very chewy thoigh, which is pretty unpleasant. I'm still not sure if it was the crust or the cheese. I might try one of the other crusts, but this place is pretty cost-prohibitive for not-so-great pizza, so I think I'll just go back to Marco's instead next time I need a pizza. This place seems to be pretty popular though, so to each his own!

OK, so I have to admit I am shocked! To be honest, I went in there to get a Diet Coke as a pick me up and then I asked the girl if they had gluten-free pizza and she said yes, and I said is it any good and of course she said it’s delicious! I’m seriously blown away! I am from the New York City area so I have access to in my opinion the best pizza in America, but I gotta say this is a close second and arguably the best gluten-free pizza I’ve ever had in my life!! I can only imagine what the regular crust would be like :)

Food was very good and well cooked. We had calzones and they were excellent. Service was very nice and timely providing drinks at good pace. Bathrooms were clean and private. However one complaint I have is that I noticed the place had fruit flies flying around our table. I could see them on the wall, about three or four from where we sat. I don't know if they came from the kitchen or outside (hopefully outside). I felt like the inside could use some sprucing up with more decor, seemed a bit "lonely". I would give the atmosphere a 5 star but those were my only gripes. Definitely will come again and hopefully with no flies haha.

This is the third time we have tried to dine at Ferrandos. Less than half the tables are full, but we are once again greeted at the door and say we’re too busy. It’s gonna be a wait before we can even get to you. How do you run a successful restaurant if you can’t Serve the folks who want to dine with you? I don’t know how you stay in business with this kind of approach. I understand during Covid. There was a shortage of staff and people would refuse to see people in half empty dining room because they didn’t have enough servers. But that’s not the case here, it’s time to hire the staff needed to provide service. Ferrandos has great food, but if you can’t get in to eat at one of the mini empty tables, I don’t know how you stay in business.

Applebee's Grill + Bar is a comprehensive chain establishment that offers substantial American cuisine in a relaxed environment. However, the service provided by a particular server named Sierra M was lacking attention and could benefit from additional training. There seemed to be an issue with the order of seating as those who arrived later were served before others who had already placed their orders. The drinks served lacked alcohol taste and appeared diluted.
We was here during the aftermath from Hurricane Helene and all I can say the service was top notch. There was a skinny guy running around so polite and super friendly, sorry didn't catch your name. Thanks again we enjoyed our two meals here very much!

The food is amazing and the atmosphere is very family but fun friendly. Everyone is really friendly but service could be a little more attentive, but they I notice have new trainers and one in particular is a new server, she went from a hostess to a waitress and quickly picked up on her customer service experience and skills. She is a very beautiful spirited young lady, very family friendly and is very attentive to your needs she provides excellent service. I believe if you go in and request her to be your server you will experience a new real modern day customer service of your life. Id definitely go back and I believe her name was Cheyenne but she is AMAZING. She definitely got that $20 Tip from me and she was only hosting at the time so you could imagine how her service as a waitress is. But Applebee's on Whiskey Rd in Aiken SC is definitely a 4 star.

Me and my family had diner here and the service was great. Our waitress was so sweet. However I didn't enjoy the food whatsoever. The kids mac and cheese tasted fresh out the box and wasn't stirred all the way. My son eats everything and he was spitting it out. My husband didn't like his food either said it was watery. I didn't enjoy mine either. I probably will never eat here again.

First and foremost our server Ivy was fried out of her mind. Every word I said was received with the thousand yard stare. The bar tender openly admitted to a table that she was doped up on meds. I received my drink 3/4 of the way filled, no straw. My friend never even got his drink. Table behind us complained that the water tasted dirty. Didn't get silverware until an hour and 15 minutes into our wait. Notice I didn't say our meal, because we didn't receive our two burgers until about an hour and thirty minutes sitting there. There were only three groups in the building btw. Friend asked for his drink about four times. The other employees had to keep yelling for Ivy to tend to her tables. The woman behind us literally started crying because her meal was so upsetting. Burger came out soggy and fell apart. The chicken didn't even look real. Manager clearly did not care but comped our meal. Tried to deny that his server was under the influence and said she's just "nervous". Meal was comped. Won't be going back

I’ll give this a 3 based off my last two visits. I would have gave it a 1 star just based of my last visit but you can tell when the GOOD manager is working. Bc she shows herself greets tables to check on how the service is going. I had not one single problem with her on shift. Now I don’t know what they had going on a few days ago but it was the total opposite. My family of 4 walks in we aren’t greeted for a solid 2 minutes. It didn’t bother me, I’m patient. What bothered me was our server had barely any tables but took 5 minutes to get to our table. I love a good restaurant family though bc the host noticed and asked to get ours drinks for her after noticing us sitting for awhile. Finally we get our drinks and our server is immediately ready for our order my husband said he needed a few minutes so she walks away and 60 seconds later comes back and says ok yall ready now. Sure, we order the 2 for 25$ the fettuccine Alfredo….. tell me why they bring me penne noodles. I’m confused I’m looking confused when my server drops it at the table but instead of using common sense and seeing my facial expressions is simply NOT satisfied she just walks away. Doesn’t ask does everything look alright nothing.. then disappears off into the kitchen. I had enough time to grab a menu off the hostess stand just to check and see maybe I’m crazy maybe it said penne noodles sure enough it didn’t. I eventually speak with our server a few minutes later and ask to speak with the manager. Bc who just puts food on your plate you didn’t ask for and expects it to be just okay with us. She goes well I’ll check and see why they did that. Instead of grabbing the manager she comes back and tells me the manager said the noodles will be ready in 10 minutes and we could wait if that’s what we wanted…. HUH I said no maam I want to speak with her. The audacity of this blew my mind. So we waisted an hour left hungry. And still had to pay for our kids meal. Now I’m not sure if the drink on the kids meal comes with the meal anymore but I was charged for a additional kids drink when we only had the one with the meal and charged us separately for the wings that came with our 2 for 25. Nobody had decent customer service skills in there at all that night maybe the host with the rings and that’s about it. BUT THAT OTHER MANAGER THO WHEW SHE DERSERVES A RAISE. (I wish I had the names of whom I’m speaking about) Update: they reached out promised a gift card and then never sent it out to me, and when I reached out they never responded :) very poor management I will not be bringing business to them any longer & I’ll take the other two stars away because they very clearly deserve 0 stars

I had a really pleasant experience at Applebee's! The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right throughout the meal. It's always great when a casual dining spot like this delivers both great service and good food. I'll definitely be visiting again!

Me and my family are still sitting here waiting to leave because our waitress put our credit card in the machine on the table and just walked off .... 15 minutes has went by and we finally had to ask another waitress for assistance to get a receipt to see what we got charged for only to see that there was a 22$ tip added to our bill that we DID NOT add!!! We never even seen the tip screen!!! I definitely asked for a manager at that point!! When we got here we immediately got put at a table! The restaurant itself was fine it was honestly just our server who ruined our experience! When she initially brung our drinks she brung my daughter the wrong drink... By the time my daughter got the correct drink she was already done with her food!! I ordered a burger a long with the fish and chips combo and didn't get the burger till everyone at the table was finished with their food!! My son's plate was missing his French fries! My fiancee ordered the 8 oz steak and when he got his plate the steak was literally smaller then his hand!! The food that did come out came out all at different times like my kids was practically finished with their meals by the time the steak came out! It was just an over all horrible experience!!! I will definitely not be back or recommend anyone to come!!

I ordered the "4 cheese" mac and cheese with honey pepper tenders. I can't even eat it and it's usually my favorite meal (when they dont mess it up in other ways). I don't taste any cheese and it is SMOTHERED in oil. It's very wet and slippery. This was the final straw with this place and their inconsistencies.

Great modern diner, food was delicious, staff friendly and attentive. Lots of seating in the dining room it also has a full bar with seating and typical diner fashion. Seats overlooking the kitchen. The diner wasn’t too busy when we arrived but started to fill up for lunch. They have breakfast all day, along with a lunch and dinner menu with your favorite diner meals. The grits were my favorite, creamy and salted just enough. The pancakes were delicious, and the eggs cooked perfectly.

I have gone to this restaurant for many years and the service has always been hit-or-miss but lately it has gone downhill significantly. There are increasingly longer waits for service, which would be understandable if it were busy, but I can wait an hour or more for the check on a slow night. The food is always good. They never seem to run the air conditioner. Edit: 9/07/2025 I have tried going back a few times recently since my last review 4 months ago and things have gotten worse. I went back on 9/5/2025 and had terrible service and it was sweltering inside and only seemed to get worse over time. The food was good but after our initial order nobody checked on us for a long time, again. When my party was ready for the check we waited over 30 minutes to get someone's attention to bring us the bill. After we asked the lady who buses the tables to speak to Maria (since apparently nobody else was going to bother serving us), her son Andrew brought us the checks but did not cash us out. We flagged Maria down and she asked if there was a problem, and I tried to explain to her that the air conditioning was bad and also that it has been an issue for a long time that our servers always disappear from us and she walked off while I was talking to her. It took another 20 or 30 minutes before she bothered cashing us out, while she was cashing other people out while knowing we had been waiting a long time. I will never go back.

This restaurant has boosted their prices so high you might as well go to Longhorn or another fine dining establishment. The food has no seasoning, the steak is not top quality, and the fajitas is 80% onions and green peppers and 20% meat. Very dissatisfied experience. There are far better Mexican restaurants in town.

We had great food and wonderful experience. Our waitress, Kasey, was attentive and sweet. I had the most steak I’ve ever had in/on my omelette. I couldn't even eat it all. My don had 2x2x2 and loved it. Establishment was clean. Would definitely recommend and we’ll be back.

Got there and was seated after about a minute, but unless you sit at a table that’s attached to the floor the tables are absurdly wobbly. It took 45 minutes for us to get our food that had terrible portion sizes and the flavor was forgettable. The service was okay at best but it was just had a weird atmosphere and extremely annoying music playing. To elaborate on the portion sizes I ordered a pancake combo, it came with two small pancakes what looked like a single scrambled egg and maybe half of a potatoes worth of hash-browns. We ended up leaving early because the atmosphere was too dingy as it just felt damp and there was mold on the ceiling as well as the seats being uncomfortable. Mind you I hadn’t eaten any of the food and I left with a container of what looked like leftovers. In the first picture my hand is used for scale, my hand is slightly above average in size and my palm itself almost covers the entire pancake.

My husband and I had breakfast here a few days ago and it was really weird. The hostess only acknowledged my husband didn't even look at me. Maybe I'm over thinking this but it was definitely segregated all the black people had one lady for their waitress and everyone else had the other lady. Our waitress was okay. I had hair in my orange juice, she offered to get me another one but I just had it taken off the check. The food was okay my husband thought his Nashville hot tenders were okay and I liked my pancakes. The omelet wasn't very good. Would I eat here again probably not. I hope they work on the atmosphere and make it welcoming to all not just certain people.

Waitress was fine. Greeted us as we came in and was attentive and took our order right away. The food was well, pretty bad. I ordered the turkey and stuffing. I’m still not sure if that was turkey on my plate. They forgot the stuffing as well. The mashed potatoes were pretty much soup. The stuffing finally came out and it had been in the microwave 20 minutes too long. It was hard, rubbery, and not worth trying to eat. My wife’s order was prepared wrong so they had to remake it. That happens, but it took another 20-25 minutes for it to come out and they forgot the fries. We waited for her fires and finally decided to just get her food to-go. The kids eggs, bacon, and pancakes were good though. Probably just need to stick to breakfast food at this establishment.

Food needs some seasoning but other than that it was good didn’t get coffee like I was hoping for because the coffee pot was a little dirty still had coffee stains on it. This places really needs to be remodeled. I definitely will be coming back.

It wasn’t busy at all. Waitress never came back to check on us or offer refill of my son’s drink. I would’ve loved some more butter for my pancakes. Small portions of hash browns & scrambled eggs. $45.00 for subpar breakfast.

Everything was top-tier awful. The service was horrible from walking in the door until we left; the food was awful all around. They went back and forth about who was going to sit us. The System went down young lady started demanding pay and didn't give us a ticket so we could see what was being charged and to top it off we hadn't received all our food. When we did get it it was not hot. Then had the nerve to get all the orders wrong. The steak omelet was not cooked on the steak omelet it was raw had to send that back. No steak was in the omelet it was like they were low on food. Idk all I can say is it was awful. The manager hid in the back for some reason. The only reason I gave it one star because it will not let me post without it. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. No they were not booked and busy.

The waitress was awesome! She went above and beyond what she needed to. We had a great meal even though we were rushed, but an outside commitment, not IHOP but in spite of this the waitress seemed committed and dedicated to making sure we enjoyed our meal. Excellent!!!

Great food, and not very busy. The servers were all very kind and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Nice atmosphere, clean floors and tables and festive, welcoming interior. The food was well-priced and tasty. Would recommend for families, dates, or even just to treat yourself!

It felt like a very average mexican place. There were plenty of items to choose from on the menu and portions for lunch were a great size. The atmosphere seems older and staff were okay… it was us and another table. Food got brought out quickly but a decent wait for refills and check

Every Mexican restaurant we go to I always get Parrillada Mexicana, this was the most I had ever paid for the dish at $27.99. It was the smallest portion I had ever gotten by far. Half the meat and veggies were scorched (which I mostly like) but the other half was basically steamed. The staff was nice enough and it was clean. Even the salad that comes with the fajita plate was the smallest portion I had gotten. If it was done well I probably would not have said anything. This was just pathetic, very disappointing.

My husband and I have stopped in a couple of times and had servers Leslie on our first visit, then server Ezra on our second visit. The servers got our food right, and were super nice. The food was delicious and made perfectly. We enjoyed the music and atmosphere, as well as the cocktails, beer, and food. We will be going back with more family soon!

Food was really good. We had the supreme nachos with guacamole and jalapeño and ground beef and a couple margaritas. The drinks were just ok as they use pre-made drinks out of a dispenser. The nachos were very good though plus the chips and salsa were very fresh and good. Service could have been better as there was only one server for probably 10 tables and we sat at the bar with no dedicated bartender. I'd still recommend just for the food and I wouldn't consider the food common americanized Mexican.

My husband and I went for quick date after work. We sat at the bar and are waitress was very friendly. Food was good and fresh. This was our first visit and we would visit again

This is the worst Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. Ordered margaritas and there was ZERO alcohol in them, no Tajín around the rim as described on the menu. I never complain at restaurants as someone who has worked in the food service industry before and I always tip well. We sent the margaritas back and the server was going to re-make them. He said the manager made them so we asked to speak to him. He never came to the table. There was not a bartender there but anyone who works there should be able to make a margarita, especially at a Mexican restaurant! The server said he would bring new ones, never did. When asked about it again 15 minutes later, he said “Oh, my manager said I can’t serve you alcohol.” Huh? Why? No explanation given and he walked away. TERRIBLE SERVICE. The food was less than mediocre and the mishap with the margaritas was just inexcusable. I would give zero stars if that was an option.

Me and my husband absolutely love Chili's. The food is always amazing the service is also always amazing. The salmon is delicious. They're appetizers are great. He loves the burgers. They're just all in all a really great restaurant. I wish I knew where they get that cilantro lime pesto because it's so good!!

First time visiting this Chili’s location in Aiken, and the food was tasty! The service was great — our server was kind, patient, and attentive. The only downside was the checkout process. We had fussy babies ready to go, and the table tablet gave us a hard time. It was set to the wrong table number, then asked for the server multiple times before it finally worked. Definitely not the server’s fault — she did everything she could to help. Those tablets just never seem to work right!

Me and my husband took our kids out to eat here last night for Cinco de mayo and it was great. The food was good and our waitress Lexie was so polite and informative about the menu answered all of our questions.we got the boneless wings for an appetizer and I got the ultimate pasta my husband got the burger and our kids got the chicken Dippers. We got our food in a timely manner. Will definitely eat here again. Oh and I loved the margaritas!

I go to this Chili's pretty regularly, both as a solo diner and with others. I'm always seated fairly quickly and the staff is generally very nice and attentive. I would advise, however, to avoid coming in at around 9pm when they close at 10. The staff is winding down, less attentive, and it took quite a while to get a simple burger and fries. When the fries got to me, they were already cold, which was definitely a disappointment. That said, I'll continue returning to this establishment, just earlier in the evening.

Stopped here for dinner last week, and had a good experience. The service was stellar...especially for a chain restaurant. The server was prompt and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. She also answered our questions about several local places that we were not familar with......very informative. The food was priced nicely for the portion size, and the flavors were really good. My hubby had the fajitas and he said they were the best he has had in ages. They were cooked perfectly and included a nice mix of grilled veggies and toppings. I had the ribeye steak with mac and cheese and Mexican street corn. The steak tasted great, but was a little tough and chewy. The mac and cheese was perfect and the street corn was amazing! Plentry of parking right outside and the restaurant is very wheelchair friendly as well. Will definitely go back again soon!

We enjoy dining at Chili's about once every month. My favorite is their baby back ribs with the house BBQ sauce. Also very good are the chicken and steak fajitas. And, of course, their chips and salsa are great. Today I had the Smokehouse Combo with ribs, hot chicken crispers, fries and roasted street corn. Yummy! Our server was Theresa and she took good care of us.

Very disappointed! I will admit it has been at least 8 months since eating at this Chili's in Aiken, SC. I came in to town to surprise my mother & she asked to go out to eat. She wanted to stay near where she lives so she asked for Chili's. "You know we like their fajitas," she said. We ordered 2 beers, fajitas, chips & salsa & I asked for some guacamole. It had NO taste at all! It was smashed advacodo & a bit of tomato. NO seasoning, no cilantro, no salt/pepper, lime juice. The waitress brought the manager to speak to us. We told her that it was tasteless & she apologized, she went to kitchen & made up something, brought it back to our table, asked us to taste it. It was better (you could taste the lime) however it was unappealing to eat. The so called fajitas were brought to table. No sizzle, no heat on plate. The shrimp was to one side, the steak was to another, very little onions & peppers. There was a pile of rice covering the majority of the plate & a cup of black beans. It was not like fajitas. The shrimp seemed disjointed from the meal like it was not grilled together. The manager said the onions & peppers were "freshly cut & cooked". They were more like frozen vegetables you would cook that come out very limp & soft. These were not fajitas. The young lady who brought out the meal did not even bring plates, shells or sour cream out at the same time. We waited on that for a few minutes. Needless to say, my mom was very disappointed. She had about 2 bites & I ate a bit more. The waitress came by, asked us how things were & I had to tell her not good. I paid my bill on the table kiosk & we left. The most pleasant thing at this Chili's was the young man who greeted us when we came in & held the door. One last thing on my mind- you should always offer a glass of water when a patron orders a beverage from the bar.

Food was good. Portions were large. 1 2 3 deal is a great value. Sharable if you are not a big eater. Best time to arrive on Sunday is before 11:30am. 2.99 to play games at the table. Wasn't worth it to me granddaughter got bored fast. Pay at the table kiosk was convenient did not have to wait for the check. Which was great because wait staff was busy.

If you're looking for a delightful dining experience, Red Lobster is the place to be! On a recent Saturday evening visit, we encountered a brief 10-minute wait before being seated. Our server, Austin, was incredibly enthusiastic and friendly, making us feel right at home. Although our food took about 50 minutes due to kitchen delays, it was well worth the wait—especially the Mahi and shrimp dishes that were simply delicious.
Food was excellent. The nights special was an excellent price! I can’t say enough good things about Cassandra!! She was sweet, attentive and anticipated all our needs. We loved her. Also the whole restaurant was sparkling clean.

We went for dinner on a saturday evening. There was about a 10 minute wait and got sat at 7:15. Our server , i believe his name was Austin, was great!! Very enthusiastic and friendly. Our drinks and vread came out quickly however we didn’t get our food for about 50 minutes as the kitchen seemed to be backed up. The food was great though so worth the wait. The Mahi was especially good, as is the shrimp. The environment was clean and quiet.

Wonderful experience for my birthday! Lacy was amazing in her service and was always there if we needed her. Best experience I’ve had in such a long time. Bentley the hostess was the best hostess too. Not only did she greet with a smile, but even cared to ask how our dinner was. She went out of her way to make my birthday special! Incredible!

Just went Today 9/20 at around 5pm. The server we had was nice but ultimately was too worried about the party next to us to tend to us and it kind of left us feeling jaded in a way. The food was decent but im also paying for the experience. The ambience of the restaurant was solemn and silent for it being a Saturday night. We had to wait 16 minutes to receive our complimentary bread and also had to remind our server for refills after waiting 10 minutes when she would go every 4-5 minutes to the party directly right next to us and ask if they needed anything. For 80 plus dollars our 2 meals and a child meal I just assumed it would be a better overall experience from top to bottom. We had a Manager check on us and again our server was sweet but we did not get the same attention nor the same consideration. Probably will not be back. First time going in the three years we've lived in Aiken and very bummed out. Hopefully this isn't the experience for the next family.

Nestled in a cozy setting, Jade of China offers an extensive menu filled with beloved Chinese dishes, perfect for family dinners and lunch specials. On my recent visit, I was delighted by the friendly service and the mouthwatering Mongolian beef that paired beautifully with fried rice. The crispy egg roll and excellent hot and sour soup were highlights as well. During another visit with my mom, we enjoyed their affordable lunch specials under $9, which included a comforting soup.
I've been dining here for years with my wife and always enjoy the food. The staff is very friendly and helpful when placing your order. The lunch specials are very good and include soup and choice of rice. The prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurants and the portions are very good. You can enjoy a good meal here for slightly more than a fast food restaurant. Chris Bee

The establishment is older and seems in desperate need of an upgrade. Service was alright, in a way of it was me and another couple and we weren’t checked on. Even though she walked by us a bunch of times and couldn’t get her attention. The food was good. not great. but good. and got what we ordered. It’s fine for a quick bite.

I had lunch here today. Its actually my second visit. The first visit was a Sunday, after church. It was a madhouse. Today was much nicer. My server was very friendly and accommodating. I had the Mongolian beef. The meat was tender but firm. The sauce was very tasty and there was enough of it to bleed into the fried rice, adding flavor to it. I substituted an egg roll for the spring roll. The egg roll was crispy and tasty. Hot and sour soup was excellent. Piecing is very reasonable. I left full. All in all, it was a good experience, and I'll be back. I highly recommend Jade of China for a Chinese fix.

I visited this place with my mom to enjoy their lunch specials, and we were pleasantly surprised. Most dishes were under $9 before tax and included a soup, which was a nice bonus. We tried the almond fried chicken (served with a savory gravy) and the sweet and sour chicken (with a classic red sauce). Both were delicious! We absolutely loved the food and the welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back with my kids—they're sure to enjoy it too. This spot is miles better than Panda Express. The woman who greeted us seemed to know everyone who walked in. You can tell she genuinely enjoys being there. When I complimented the decor, she proudly shared that the restaurant has been around for over 40 years. That kind of history and heart really shows.

I came here on Sunday after church and we came to the restaurant, they removed some stuff but the place looked the same, less people than before which should of been a sign but whatever I was hungry, so the servant was very very very nice me and my family love him. I ordered lo mein and the rest of my family did aswell. The chicken was very chewy it felt and tasted like it wasn’t cooked, the shrimp was VERY salty, the meat was salty aswell and very over cooked. Once I got home I got a huge sharp pain on my left side, it was UNBERABLE. I couldn’t stand it. I could have risked getting salmonella but thank god i didn’t. NEVER going back.

Worst service ever! I called to place a to go order for chicken egg foo yong. I was asked to hold, and could hear the gentleman trying to take other orders in the background. It was clear they were busy. He came back to the phone and I gave him my order. He told me it would be twenty minutes. I picked up my food and drove 15 minutes home. I was about to dip the whole thing in gravy, but decided to tear a piece off first. That’s when I noticed it had shrimp inside. I am deathly allergic to shrimp. When I called, instead of an apology, the same gentleman told me that he was the one that took my order and that’s what I said. Unless I was on a suicide mission, I would never. I have to carry an epipen for my allergy due to the severity on my reaction. He doubled down. I asked how I would be compensated for the inconvenience and he told me all he would do is replace it and I needed to bring what they gave me back in order to do that. WOW sir! I’m going to take this food back up there, but I don’t want a replacement order. I just want my money back, and I will never patron this establishment again. Good luck to you if you do, but take my advice and thoroughly check your food before consuming it.

This establishment deserves a high rating of 5 stars due to its consistent quality and delicious Americanized Mexican cuisine. In addition, the presence of an authentic menu caters to the increasing interest in diverse culinary experiences. Another noteworthy aspect is their reasonable prices, which are particularly important in today's economy. Moreover, the friendly servers contribute to an enjoyable dining experience. It is highly recommended for individuals who appreciate this type of cuisine.
Food was absolutely fantastic, I've never wanted to eat everything on my plate so badly. They have a variety of servers here, out door and indoor seating as well as a large amount of food on their menu to choose from. (NO pets allowed unless it is a service animal)

The worse Mexican place I’ve ever been to! The margaritas was horrible couldn’t even finish it way to frozen and no alcohol in it. We ordered a milkshake it was straight foam & milk. We ordered Buffalo wings they were nasty and didn’t even try to add sauce right. They got the order wrong multiple times. Nachos was nasty and soggy. Cheese dip was cold and watery & service was so bad they didn’t speak no English and gave the most dirtiest looks. I wish we could put a 0 star rating! We pod $75 and didn’t finish nothing they gave.

The only reason I gave 4 stars is because there's usually something missing. One time, a server didn't speak ANY English, another time I got the avocado chicken salad. It had no avocados, I had to ask for it. Another time, we reserved the private party room for a retirement party, they didn't have it saved. Other than that, the food is delicious, the service is usually great, and they have great margaritas. I still go back.

We've dined at Mi Rancho several times before today, but this is my first review. We were brought yummy chips and salsa immediately, and our iced teas arrived shortly after. I had the chicken fajitas and they were very good. I've had them before, and they are my favorite. Note in my pic that what looks like a blur above the plate was actually steam as it was still sizzling! I also recommend their chimichangas. My wonderful wife had the beef burrito supreme and said it was delicious. Our server, Greicis, was friendly and service was quick, which was appreciated because we were both hungry!

I have been coming here for 10 years, and get a tres compares. The only dish they cant mess up. Now they have stopped serving it on the menu. So I tried there burritos, supposed to be with red sauce. They brought in out with a brown mole sauce and tried to tell me it was red sauce. Waitress was short and rude. Had to ask twice for our cheese dip. There was no one in the restaurant... Sorry for your menu change, I won't be back like many of my friends....

Eastern Buffet is a delightful destination for anyone craving a diverse selection of Chinese cuisine. During my recent visit with family, I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive variety available, from sushi and salads to BBQ and classic sweet and sour chicken. The quality of the food was commendable, with everything I tried being enjoyable. The ambiance added to the experience; featuring an attractive waterfall and bridge that enhanced the dining atmosphere.
After reading reviews we decided despite the few negative ones we would give it a try . The buffet as you can see in the pics had a large variety of food all of which was perfect in temperature and taste . Everything that we chose was delicious including the steak which was cooked perfectly. It is a thin sliced steak perfectly seasoned and of course all you can eat so yum 😋 The staff were extremely helpful and kind . We really had zero complaints about anything. It is a nice restaurant, good food and good people so you should also give it a shot .

This is a solid Chinese-style buffet. I went with my family for lunch and they have a variety of options. I would say it checked everything off my list as far as the food. The quality is about average for a buffet, but there was nothing I thought looked bad and everything I tried was good. They have sushi, salad, BBQ, and of course the sweet and sour type of chicken options. The ambience was also good. There is a cool water fall and bridge inside. It looks quite nice. I left satisfied and will be back again. My only note is that the Men’s bathroom looked a little rough. It was clean, but there were some holes in the walls.

We did not enjoy our dinner. We went at 7:00pm. Most of the food appeared as though it had been there quite awhile. The hot and sour soup was empty and dried out (see photos). What food that was out there was luke warm to cold. The sushi bar had only salmon, with a few maki rolls of salmon, acacado, and cucumber. The "kimchi" tasted like they had simply cut up the napa cabbage and added Tabasco and Sriracha sauce. In general, the buffet looked unkempt. The rice cooker was tiny (5 cup). It was also empty. Crumbs, spills, pieces of food on the counter, etc. It just looked neglected. We sat in a booth, and at least where we sat it smelled like a mixture of mildew and bleach. On the plus side, the strawberry and peach frozen yogurt was delicious. I will not return.

We dropped in for lunch. Being new to the area, we are trying a few places and this one got our attention because we like Chinese buffets. Beautifully appointed for a relatively small area. Very nice wood work with interesting decor. The multiple buffet islands are set in a circular configuration and the select was surprisingly broad, especially for lunch time. Not too crowded but we could see it had a good clientele base. We tried several of the dishes and enjoyed every one. Definitely going into our regular rotation.

We typically enjoy our visits to this location. Tonight, not so much. Service was okay. As we walked in and glanced over the buffet, saw SEVERAL trays over half empty and very messy [food scattered all over the bars]. The crab wontons, coconut shrimp, spring rolls, and egg drop soup were really good tonight! I alerted the female cashier that the green marshmallow dessert was SOUR! The ice cream/frozen yogurt was TOO SOFT even for soft serve...it was almost liquid [we tried the peach/strawberry mixed swirl and the chocolate/vanilla mixed swirl and the vanilla]. So, for our group tonight, [party of 3 adults and 2 kids] our bill for 80$ was OVERPRICED for the overall food quality. Please do better. Thanks.

This place was a very welcome surprise to me. I moved to South Carolina in this area just under 3 years ago. I love Asian buffets in general, but hadn't found any worth talking about. I stopped in here on a whim because I was shopping somewhere close, and was delighted at the food quality. But then I found out that my meal also included getting some steak. I figured at this price it probably wasn't very good. Boy was I wrong. Some of the items understandably get a little dried out waiting for someone to pick it but for the most part everything is fresh and quite delicious. I have been there twice now. And definitely plan on going back. The restaurant itself is big but also is clean. This is a well-managed restaurant.
Doug H — Google review
I wish I could give Eastern Buffet zero stars, because this place is a health hazard masquerading as a restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were hit with a nauseating stench—like something had died and was left to rot. The lighting is so dim you can barely see what you're eating, which might be a blessing given the state of the food. The entire place is coated in grime; the floors, walls, tables, and chairs are sticky and filthy, like they haven’t been cleaned in years. The men’s restroom was a new low—worse than the grimiest no-name gas station bathroom I’ve ever seen. There was actual feces smeared on the walls and, somehow, the ceiling. I’m still baffled by how that’s physically possible. I took my toddler in there and regretted it instantly. The dining area is no better. They had raw oysters on the buffet, but you’d need a death wish to eat anything raw from this place. The rest of the food looked questionable at best—greasy, lukewarm, and unidentifiable. My poor toddler didn’t even make it out the door before throwing up everything he ate. As I’m writing this, my stomach is churning, and I’m praying I don’t end up sick too. I’ve been to countless Chinese restaurants and even worked at one, so I know what a decent one looks like—this isn’t it. Eastern Buffet is a disgusting, unsanitary disaster. Save your money and your health. Never again.

I am giving a one star because their pricing has gotten out of hand on certain things and you have to check your receipts. We were charged .50 cents twice for one to go order and also charged a local tax plus state tax. I understand a to go order fee, but that should have been voiced when the order was placed. Also, what is even a local tax after state taxes? Food was good and place is quiet, but pricing and hidden fees is aggressive.

Made a phone order based on the prices that are in the menu only to find out those prices are completely incorrect. If you want to place a pick up order ask what the price is before ordering. I ordered a special dinner that says $14.99 in the online menu they charged me 17.99 special burrito says it’s $9.99 they charged me 10.99 not upset over $1.00 difference then for the Mexican tacos it say $2.99 each which should be $5.98 and was charged $7.18.What I’m trying to point out is they either need to update their online menu or honor the prices shown on there. Needless to say I will not be ordering here again since the woman at the counter told me no we changed our menu and prices and would not honor what it shows on their on line menu. Again if you order off their online menu double check prices before ordering because they will charge you more than what’s listed on there menu to order to go as the girl told me all those prices have changed. The food is good but I think it’s poor customer service to list incorrect pricing information on the menu.

It was not very inviting kinda got dirty looks from waitress until we ordered then they kinda changed there attitudes great amount of food but meat in the tacos just had no flavor but the fish tacos were absolutely amazing they can use cabbage and mango salsa thyme would be perfect !!!

The food tastes good, but it's not quite as spicy as I normally like. The service is good as long as it's not incredibly busy. They're very friendly but the staff seems to be overworked .

Great service, food, and cold beer. Always a good choice for lunch or dinner. Nice family friendly environment.

This was our first visit in a long time and we were still very pleased. The food tasted great and was prepared quickly. It is reasonably priced and their menu has a large selection. We will definitely come back and visit this restaurant again soon.

We had visited here several times in the past for lunch. Decided to try for dinner as my wife chose this for her Birthday dinner. Arrived @ 7:30 and was able to get a table immediately. We decided to try something different to drink and ordered the Blueberry Lemon Mint Mule. It was an excellent choice! Ordered the Crispy Brussel Sprouts for an appetizer which was very good + a very nice portion. We had already looked at the menu online and had decided on our entrees. She had the Pasta Primavera w/Grilled Shrimp and I had the Shrimp & Grits. We both very much enjoyed them + generous portions as well! She said some of the creamiest pasta she had ever eaten. One of the better Shrimp & Grits I've had in a long time + lots of Shrimp! Believe our server was Mack, who was very attentive + did a great job. All in all it was a great experience - probably one of the best meals we've had while eating out in a long time. If I had any negative comment, it would be that a waitress was vacuuming around us cleaning under tables while we were finishing our meal. Kind of distracting & noisy, but not a huge thing. Certainly could understand if it was after closing, but don't think that was the case. Regardless, gave all 5 stars as it was still a wonderful experience!!

Nice layout and beautiful decor. Plenty of food, just not exciting with the flavor, beautiful presentation though. Wait staff was friendly and I shouldn't have to continuously ask for refill on water, attentive but could improve on attention to detail. Pianist played while we were there too! Didn't realize we could've sat in the back to watch the game till a restroom break. Will drive up from Augusta again to give em another try.

Atmosphere is spot on what a great place! Pork Belly Bites just over the top and The Feed Sack Burger and Chicken club were amazing! Pimento Cheese grits very very strong on the salt and Cheese would have like those tapered down a little. Loved the Van Morrison music playing in the background! Service was great and we didn't have reservations and were able to get in for late lunch at 1:30 on a Sat.

Found this little gem by accident. Such beautiful decor and inviting atmosphere. Very casual place with an upscale feel. There are so many tantalizing appetizers to choose from. We picked the Pimento Cheese Dip and were not disappointed! The bacon jelly was such a wonderful addition…although bacon makes everything better!! Service was friendly and the food came out fairly quickly. The many enticing meal choices make it so hard to decide, but I went with the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich. The roast beef was so tender and juicy that it literally did not need the au jus! We thought we’d have room for dessert but the portions were so large, we had to get it to go! Wonderful place to have a date night or family get together. Large dining area with plenty of seating. For being quite busy with a lot of people, the noise level was extremely low and we didn’t have to yell to hear each other talk. Highly recommend and will return!

Alberta was great! We had a party of 10 and she was very attentive!!!! She made sure our glasses stayed full and believe me when I say my son loves lemonade! The food was excellent! We will definitely be going back when we visit!

We stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant while visiting Aiken this week. We thought it was just a typical pub, but it’s so much more! This place screams class from the decor to the live piano music and the food and drinks! The food and drinks were amazing! Our server, Maddie, was top notch too! We’ll be back!

What went right: seating was quick, the two appetizers we ordered for the table were served hot and were delicious. We got the deviled eggs and pot- stickers. What went wrong: after our appetizers, the wait for our meal was prolonged, (usually not a problem or unexpected when food is prepared fresh) to the point an individual I believe to be the manager walked up and apologize for the extended wait after we got to go box and we’re leaving. When the meal finally came out. It was obvious that our food had been sitting under the heating lamp in the kitchen for quite an extended period of time. Which was confusing considering how many employees were walking around chatting with and sitting with customers. The plates were hotter than the food. To be honest, the condiments( honey mustard and ranch) ( I ordered the chicken fingers) was warmer then any of the food for the three meals ordered, my wife’s, daughters, or my own. The disappointment was overwhelming. up to this point this was far and away my favorite restaurant in Aiken. I truly looked forward to and anticipated the opportunity to take my family here. I can honestly say I would not and will not recommend this establishment to any one at this time and will not be frequenting this establishment again. I can find a better use for what amounted to 100$ brunch.

Been driving past this place for years and had never visited. What a surprise to have a top class restaurant right here in Aiken. The food is delicious, the waiters are attentive, and the atmosphere great. I’ll be back !
