Where to eat: the 21 best restaurants in Forks

One of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. Steak was perfectly grilled to med rare, asparagus has just enough crunch and not too soft, and the baked potato has no raw spots and the bacon was fresh, not bacon bits! Service was amazing and she was very friendly.

This is a delightful place, and these people posting meh reviews must be unhappy in their own lives. Our waitress was lovely, and the (diner style) food was delicious. The biscuits are especially good! And the table art, mural, and long history of being family owned give it so much charm.

Unique locally owned & operated family run restaurant. The food was good "home-cookin' " quality. We were there for breakfast. I really liked the atmosphere! Each wooden slab table-top had a hand-painted nature scene on it, then shellacked over. I was visiting with the waitress & she told me there were 3 different artists that painted the table designs through the 35+ years her family has owned & operated the restaurant. There is also a large hand-painted mural on the wall of the restaurant. If you find yourself in Forks, WA, stop at the In Place for a great meal!

We almost didn’t eat here due to the lower ratings. We found the server very helpful and friendly. The prices were very reasonable, but keep in mind there is a up-charge of 3.9% if not paying cash. The food was tasty (diner style food) and the restrooms were clean.

It was my first time there. I was here in July on a rainy day. I found this place to be located ideally and very easily accessible even by foot. And the service at the restaurant was just amazing! I am a vegetarian and I could not find any solid options on the menu outside of soup that was vegetarian. So I ordered the broccoli vegetarian soup and I asked if I could get a vegetarian sandwich. I was told that while it is not on the menu, I could certainly get a grilled cheese sandwich with veggies, which worked perfectly for me! I loved the soup and the sandwich both. It was a proper meal - so delicious and filling! I would have loved to get their hot chocolate if only I wasn’t so full! But that’s for another time! ❤️ The place was crowded when I went but I could luckily get a seat. So if possible it might always be a safer option to have a reservation in advance. The restaurant has clean restrooms.

Wild caught sockeye Alaskan Salmon/ or Local salmon (when available) & Sea food alfredo. (But only shrimp lol) Salmon was moist, perfectly seasoned/cooked, lemons and butter. With sauté asparagus. Chose salad with Marion berry balsamic vinaigrette. (Gluten free) Shrimp Alfredo (Sea food Alfredo) came with bell peppers, zucchini and onions. Shrimp was cooked just right, alfredo was the right kind of salty and flavorful. Came with a butter dinner roll.

Overall great place to go as far as Forks goes. Had dinner there and wasn't too impressed with the seafood Alfredo pasta. Wasn't prepared for it to have onions in it but anyways. There were two shrimp in it and one had some shell left on it. There was one small scallop. The salmon in it was good. But two shrimp and one scallop just really skimping. Breakfast was much better with solid omelet, good hash browns and toast was great. No complaints there. I liked it and would go back again. Service was good and fast. Seating was easy and no wait or anything. Anyways like I say great place overall.

We stopped by this pizza place on our way out of Olympic National Park, absolutely starving and it hit the spot. I ordered the small basil pesto chicken pizza, and it was packed with flavor. It came with four generous slices, which was more than enough, especially for the price. The staff was super friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Great little gem in Forks!

The food portions are huge. The prices affordable. The service is fast. My order came with a salad that I can assemble on my own since they have a salad bar. They also serve fountain drinks. The lasagna was a bit tart for my liking only because I'm not used to Italian style pasta. It seems that the pizza is popular here and I might order it next time I pass this area again.

We ordered Ranch chicken Pizza and Chicken Wings takeout from Pacific Pizza in Forks. The food was good and tasty, though nothing particularly special for the price — a bit on the pricey side. The restaurant seemed quite busy, which might explain why it took a while to get our order. Overall, decent food and flavor, but expect a bit of a wait if they’re crowded.

We came shortly after it opened on Monday, so it wasn't busy. Service was friendly and food came out quickly. The place was so cold (AC set to 62F!), I had my hoodie up the whole time. The salad bar was solid. The wings were decent. We had the beef ravioli in meat sauce and chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Both tasted like the sauce came from a jar, and were room temperature. We should've ordered pizza instead.

How lucky we tried this restaurant. The line was out the door for good reason. The staff were friendly and though backed up came around to offer us more beverages. The salad was fresh but the pizza was amazing. The crust was homemade. Absolutely the best I’ve eaten. The margarita toppings were amazing, salty with basil. Such a great option in Forks!

We came here about 500 pm on a Wednesday with low expectations. You order at the counter and take a number back to the table. The boys running the front counter were not engaged and we had to repeat and correct what we were ordering. I ordered a gluten free crust pizza. They brought the first two out, then mine - which was on regular crust. It was wrong. They said they would remake it. 20 min later I’m at the counter. No remade pizza to be seen. Stood there another 10 min because they found it. It was only partially cooked and inedible. That wasn’t the worst part….. most of the tables were covered in PILES of dirty dishes. The door was open and clouds of flies were all over the restaurant. Don’t eat here. Go to the grocery store next door, buy some ready made food and eat in your car. It’s better.

Forks has limited options to dine out. The menu here is pretty diverse. All homemade food. The value is pretty good. Not a fancy place but was good filling dinner for us.

Blakeslee’s Bar is a great local spot with good food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive, which really adds to the experience. The menu has some solid options, and everything we tried was tasty and well-prepared. One small letdown was the cocktails—they’re all shaken by default, even when the drink would typically call for a different method, which does affect the flavor. That said, if you politely ask, the bartenders are more than happy to make them properly. It’s a nice sign that they care and are open to feedback. Overall, a great place to grab a bite, relax, and enjoy a casual night out.

It was my first time visiting Olympic National Park, and finding a restaurant in the area was a bit challenging. Blakeslee’s Bar and Grill turned out to be the right place to eat. For lunch, we ordered clam chowder soup and it was delicious. The garlic Parmesan wings were juicy and amazing, the burger was on point, and my family said the Reuben they ordered was absolutely delicious. Even the fries were really good. Everything we had for lunch tasted great. The wait was quite long, but it was worth it because the food was excellent. We stopped by again the next day for dinner on our way back to Amanda Park. The soup of the day was also good, and I ordered chicken wings again because they were just amazingly delicious. It was a bit loud during dinner, which is understandable since it’s also a bar. The bathroom was clean, and they require an ID before seating. It can get loud so it might be a little difficult to hear conversations, but overall it’s a great spot for good food after exploring the park.

Had dinner here recently in early May. Food was good - the chowder was very tasty, the wings with hot sauce was just nice, the steak medium doneness was perfect, elk burger was a nice experience, the chips and fries were good too.

Blakeslee’s Bar & Grill was right next to our Airbnb, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the “jumbo” wings with BBQ and mango habanero sauce, the “famous” Mill Burger, and the classic salad with a breaded chicken breast. The wings were definitely the highlight of the meal, and the salad was solid. The burger, however, was just okay. The service left a lot to be desired. We sat for about 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us to take drink orders, and then waited another 30 minutes to be told they had run out of chicken breast and could only offer breaded chicken instead. Overall, decent wings but the slow service and underwhelming entrées kept this from being a better experience.

Good place to grab a burger and fries. Was a short wait when I walked in. Seems slightly unorganized when seating people but they get the job done. Must show ID and be 21 after 3pm, no exceptions. They were super busy when I was here and service showed. Everyone was overwhelmed but still friendly. Plan on waiting extra time if they are busy. I had the deep fried mushrooms to start with. They were your normal deep fried mushrooms with ranch. Piping hot and tasty. The elk burger was cooked perfectly and had good flavor. The fries were curly steak fries. Also really tasty. Had a beer with my meal as well that was good. The silver city ipa. Overall great place for food while you’re in town.

We were a group of six, and every single one of us left impressed! The food was fantastic — flavorful, hearty, and exactly what you’d hope for from a top-notch grill. From burgers to wings and everything in between, every bite was satisfying. The service was friendly and quick, and the overall atmosphere was casual, upbeat, and welcoming. Whether you’re just stopping by for a drink or sitting down for a full meal, BBG delivers a great experience all around. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area — it’s a local gem!

The service was bad... it was a sunday when we came in and the closest restaurant we got. Upon arriving, we had to wait for a couple of minutes to be seated since the restaurant at that time was a bit full and only 2 servers available. They asked for ID which was weird since we were only there to have a late lunch after our hike. We were seated beside 2 older customers who warned us "if you guys are hungry and in a hurry... this is not a good place to eat".. we started chatting with them and we found out that they have been waiting more than an hour for their food.. and so as the other 5 tables before us.. but we decided to stay.. we waited.. and waited.. and waited... and the server keeps on updating us "your food is about to come out of the kitchen". After 1 hr and 10 mins.... Alas... food is served.... the burgers are okay... i love the fries and the clam chowder was savory... 5 mins after serving the food, the server gave us our bill (weird)... she made a mistake on the charges so we asked to fix and print it again.. came back with another confusing bill print out... anyways, the experience i would say was not good, we were tired and hungry and the whole waiting game was disappointing... I don't know if others have the same experience with this restaurant.... I just wanted to share mine and maybe they can do better next time...

No cinnamon rolls (old photo shows them on the menu). She was nice but microwaved the heck out of the scone without asking if we wanted it nuked. Good coffee.

On our way to the Washington beaches, we saw this little coffee shack that had a long line of cars waiting to drive up to the window. So a few hours later when we drove back through Forks, we decided to stop. My husband and daughter both got milkshakes that were delicious. My son and I got hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was very disappointing as it just tasted almost like hot milk. I wondered if maybe it hadn’t been stirred and would taste more like chocolate when I got to the bottom, but that was not the case. We had some friends that are coffee aficionado’s and they said the coffee was very good. There were a lot of items on the menu including bakery style items and fruit smoothies.

The coffee was very good. I had a cinnamon loaf. It was good, but cold. I wish they would have warmed it up. The wait was long too. There were 2 cars in front of us and the wait seemed longer than it should have been. I would recommend this place to others though. I wouldn't recommend going next door to The In Place. Bad food...Bad service...unsafe back parking lot (dark with no lighting at night)

Stopped in here twice while in the area. Both times it was delicious. Great way to start a busy day. I wish I could remember the name of the drink I got, it was cold, chocolatey and really good. Also, I had a bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel, so so good. Thank you for a wonderful breakfast :)

Stopped on our way thru as we love little coffee drive up spots. This one did not disappoint! I got the Nutella iced mocha 10/10, hubby got a black coffee. Everything tasted amazing and service was excellent!

Stopped here every single day during our whole trip! Coffee is amazing, sandwiches are great, and workers are super nice. I already miss it. I highly recommend, nothing in Seattle is as good as them. Can't wait for my next trip to Forks!

OMG ABSOLUTELY the BEST drinks!!!! We are even from Houston Texas so we have had our share of cafe drinks! We ordered the Iced Vanilla Latte and "Cookies And Cream Frappe" (WAY BETTER than Starbucks 😋 Definitely worth the stop!

The restaurant needs a renovation, the carpet looks so dirty it really sets the tone of your experience. The waitress was friendly and pleasant. The prices were average. We spent $43, including the tip. It's $20 per person, not including a drink. I have to say that the food wasn't very good 😕 The chowmein was spaghetti noodles, no vegetables, and the chicken tasted like it was boiled . Everything else is deep-fried.

The place is amazing value for money. The food is great and so is the service . Please be mindful to get here at least an hour before closing time or you may risk being turned away. Only one server takes care of 6 + tables and hence the tables are not turned after being used once. Very happy with the food . The place will do good with an additional server.

Picked Lunch on our way to Hoh Rainforest. We bought Crab Rangoons, Chicken Fried Rice and Kung Pao Chicken. There WAS ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR. I have attached the pic of the Friend Rice - It was Horrible. Huge portion of “White Rice” with half steamed Chicken. So expensive for nothing!

Excellent food! Friendly, if somewhat slow service. Didn't bother me though. Be warned though, if you like spicy food this isn't the best choice. Used fresh veggies, meat dishes were tasty. Best sesame chicken I've had in years. The beef in black bean sauce was delicious, as was the eggplant and broccoli dishes in "spicy" garlic sauce.

This was my go to Chinese plant in forks. Last time I was there not offered tea nor asked if we wanted sauces, chop sticks … While we ate the out of town patrons were checked on and made feel welcome. Rethinking eating locally. Seems to me having locals eat multiple times a year would help your business rather than cater to the drive through tourists. I know Forks is a twilight tourist spot but those that live here might expect similar courtesies.

I was shocked to find a vegan friendly restaurant in Forks!! Thank goodness for Golden Gate!! We pulled up and they had just opened so the large parking lot was empty! We were seated right away, and the server was very friendly. The atmosphere was cute and had very nostalgic Chinese restaurant vibes. We ordered the General Tso's tofu, Chow Mein, and spring rolls as an appetizer. The spring rolls were nice and hot and crispy. They had a good sweet and sour sauce to dip them in. The tofu was flavorful and a great texture. The chow mein was also really good. The portions were huge so my husband and I split the meals and had a full large takeout box left to go! The waitress asked if we were vegan while she took our order so this place is very accomodating and aware of vegans needs which is so refreshing! My husband and I both recommend this place if you are a vegan or vegetarian eating in Forks!

Great Chinese restaurant! We were in town visiting and really enjoyed our food, especially the sesame chicken, mapo tofu, and the spring rolls. We also enjoyed the Szechuan tofu, and hot garlic chicken. We really appreciated all the vegetarian and vegan options, as half our group is plant-based. Would go again!

I am not a picky eater, I was surprised by the wait and actually began reading the reviews while I was in line. Two cars were in front of me and by the time I got my food it was nearly 45 minutes. How can service be that slow, despite a short line, and the food is so burnt it’s inedible? Is the chef being forced to cook at gunpoint?

Driving through Forks we found this drive-through to be very busy and figured we found the go to place for lunch. We ordered corndogs, nuggets and a sauerkraut dog. The amount of sauerkraut on my dog was lost as if the jar was empty. I was expecting it to be loaded☹. And all of the extra side sauces we order were forgotten. I would definitely give this place another chance hoping this was just an off day.

This place is far from fast food! The waits are pretty long but what you get is a Burger that is made with fresh ingredients and care, a thick shake that is to die for, and some mean fries! I highly recommend checking this place out you won’t be disappointed!

Great food! We drove through on our way out from La Push and it was a place that was open at 8pm. The food was quick and tasty, with everyone in the car well-fed for the long ride home. Definitely a good option if you're passing through.

1st Car in line (nobody ahead of us) yet still took a very long time to get food. I would estimate about 20 minutes or so. Prices seemed reasonable. Service was...rude and weird that no windows open (all blocked off) and then quickly closed after taking the money. Food was meh. Fine but nothing special. Onion rings (battered not breaded) were a tad over cooked and could use seasonings. Fries seemed slightly better. Burgers were ok. Again, nothing to write home about. All food was hot which we took to justify the wait as it was prepared to order. The biggest issue aside from the wait and less than pleasant service, is that one of us is experiencing some stomach issues almost immediately after eating there. Not sure we would bother again. Our quest for great food in Forks goes on!

My honest review, these are some of the best burgers I've ever had in my life. There was a little bit of a wait for the food but the food was worth it. Made about a three hour drive to forks to visit and was starving, this was exactly what I needed. I would absolutely go out of my way just to get these burgers again.

We swung in to this drive through for a late lunch. My bacon cheeseburger we served on a nice brioche bunch, the patty was decent sized. Nice amount of toppings and condiments. Overall the burgers are perfect combination of components. I was very happy and if we are in Forks in the near future I'm definitely swinging by. I'm trying the onion rings next time.

Place was hard to locate as it looks abandoned ( no obvious signage) Food took over 50 minutes and it took forever to get our check. We had to hunt the waitress down ( it took another 20 minutes). The general took chicken was heavily battered. Each piece was 70% batter and 30% chicken and the sauce tasted slimy and off flavor. The shrimp and green peanut stir fry was ok but quite greasy. This place is a yikes.

Great American-Chinese food. Tofu was juicy and flavorful, as was the broccoli. The hot and sour soup was extremely sour, and the Mongolian tofu was not spicy, but the flavor was still good. Loved the Assorted Vegetables with the white sauce. Portions were a lot larger than I expected. Two dishes with a large rice would have sufficed for 3 people, but we actually stuffed ourselves with 3 dishes and a giant soup, so it's doable. Service and kitchen were pretty slow, but they were very friendly and nice. I think they are just understaffed. They ran out of rice at the end of the night - not sure if this is normal but maybe come earlier just in case.

You can't complain much about it. Already great that you can find Chinese food here.

I usually don't have high expectations for Chinese food outside big cities. However, the two dishes I ordered exceeded my expectations. They were incredibly authentic Chinese cuisine. The flavors were excellent, and the portion sizes were generous. Moreover, the prices were very reasonable. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

We ordered assorted vegetables with white sauce, chef special stir fried rice and chow mien. The assorted veggies are a delight, not overly salty or greasy like other Americanized Chinese food. Same with stir fried rice and noodles. We enjoyed the lunch very much on such a cold and rainy day.

Barely adequate. Many menu items were unavailable, including all tofu dishes and all alcoholic beverages. Most items were overly sweet. They were also unable to accept any payment method other than cash.

It’s an American Chinese restaurant, similar to a chop suey restaurant. The food is comparable to mist chop suey restaurants foods. It’s in a small town, so it cannot compare to restaurants in bigger cities because of limited resources, including staff. The lone waiter host, has to seat customers, answer phone calls, take orders fir onsite and takeout customers, etc. He does a great job. We had moo su beef, shrimp with lobster sauce, and mixed vegetables. They are ok. Prices are good. Might not return. It is, however, supposedly the best Chinese restaurant in Forks, we heard.

Not much else open (or allowing under 21s) when we wanted a late lunch around 3pm so our expectations were kind of low by the time we found Sully's open but the food was actually great! Had a variety of burgers. Tried their lavender milkshake - delicious! My mom had to go back and get herself one too. Signs said they were understaffed but everyone was super nice and helpful and food came decently quickly. Would go back!

Best burger ever! We were sad we didn't go sooner during our trip so we could eat there two days in a row. Worth the wait. A bit of a wait in line, but easy to order once u get to the window. We got the deluxe burger combo woth fries & blackberry shake. Hubs got the bacon burger combo with a chocolate malt shake. Bacon was perfectly cooked. Don't forget the fry sauce & ketchup packets. Reminds us of charburger or a nostalgic drive in. It is packed for a reason.

Great quick lunch in Forks. My family all ordered the same burger but each with its own specifications and they got our order 100% correct. My kids liked the house sauce that was included on the burgers. For reference, our family of four got 4 bacon burgers, 2 orders of tater tots and 3 shakes and spent $54. There was a lavender milkshake offered as a seasonal special and it was definitely unique and delicious! Lots of tourists like us, but definitely saw lots of locals/regulars being very warmly greeted. It was charming.

Not too bad. Long wait though for a fast food place. Burger tasted good. We also tried taco salad but like the taste of burgers much more. We stopped here on our way to visit the Tree Of Life ❤️

Tasty, classic diner food with great service, good prices, and such a fun vibe. Came back and ate here multiple times. You can order to go or to sit down. Everyone recommends the burger but I instead tried the chicken tenders and was blown away! Tator tots were also tasty, tastier than the fires in my opinion, and the chocolate shake was thick and great.

It appears to be the only Mexican restaurant in the area. There were a lot of people dining there. Friendly and good service. Chips and salsa were served right away. It was tasty. However the meals were not as tasty as chips and salsa. It was very bland food. Trader Joe’s has better food than this restaurant. Maybe the restaurant is a chain and they provide ingredients. Food did not taste fresh to me. The price was higher than expected also. Again, good service and chips&salsa. Parking is available.

Good service but average food. Not too many good options in this small town so I did not have high expectations for this place. Ordered the taco salad with picadillo - it was very bland and flavorless but not terrible. The free salsa and chips were the best part of the meal.

First off, excellent service. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the food. The steak is overcooked and dry. The rice is also overcooked and soft. The guacamole is bland. The ground beef is bland. The one nice thing is the picadillo or shredded beef which has been stewed to a soft fall apart consistency. Also great free chips and salsa.

The WORST dining experience I’ve ever had. (I know, this is Forks and believe me my expectations were quite low to begin with. I’ve lived in much smaller, more remote mountain towns than this and I’ve never had an experience this bad.) Upon being seated it was clear that this was not going to be a top notch meal, but I was expecting something edible, especially for $20 a plate. Rice was flavorless mush, the beans also bland and had more of a congealed jello-like texture. And the Chile Verde consisted of dry, gray, chewy chunks of pork and chunks of vegetables in green water. Far from anything that could be passed off as a salsa verde. My partner ordered a shrimp dish that appeared to be less of a food poisoning risk, but in keeping up with the theme of the restaurant had almost no discernible flavor. Based off my experience and the reviews of others they seem to be cutting corners everywhere they can from the quality of ingredients to the way meals are prepared (that pork had clearly spent hours in a warmer as it was served under 5 minutes after ordering). We walked out and found some reubens down the street for a lot less, with a much better atmosphere too.

What a great day!!! Stopped in Forks at noon. Search for a place to eat and find Plaza Jalisco. We have one in Tumwater. No more having to have a dry burger a block north. Sit down for a great meal while driving out to forks for work. Our server Corona, was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the chicken enchiladas with salsa verde if you love the taste of Jalapeños and a little heat.

The only good thing here is the free chips and salsa. Flautas and chimichangas are dry and flavorless; taquitos are so hard and chewy they’re inedible. Paid $22 for a platter of all of those and 2/3 of the plate is garbage cheddar cheese and chips... Floors are dirty and the staff chatted with everyone on the other side of the restaurant (which is fine) but they kept forgetting us, which was annoying

8 years ago was my last trip to the Olympic Peninsula and I stopped in to the pink building and ordered the seafood chimichanga. Last weekend I placed the same order and it was as fantastic as before. Best Mexican food I've had in the State of Washington.

This Subway is located inside a convenient store which is well stocked as seen in the picture. The sitting area is outside only. The girl prepping my sub was in grumpy mood but the sub was tasty.

Staff are friendly but every time we eat here we get food poisoning. One time is maybe an oops but ten? It's not even the same sandwich either. We thought it'd be better after the remodel but sadly no.

I guess dont order online- paid for double on beef and looks like they gave me than a normal serving 😂🤦‍♂️

I order here a few times a week and I have never had a bad experience! The staff is always so friendly too! The owners do an awesome job keeping ingredients stocked and fresh. I’m literally addicted 😂💛💚

Actually didn't order any subay here though I did use the gas station it's attached too. Place literally has everything and the best bathroom I've ever been to in a gas station hands down even has a coat rack for your rain jacket or snow jacket. Staff was really nice and the prices were pretty good. Even have mini lighters for starting camp fires with firewood literally outside.

Very friendly and good service. We had the pizza with Canadian bacon, sausage, and pineapple. We changed out the BBQ sauce for marinara, no problem. Very good pizza with generous amount of the toppings. We also had the garden salad, very fresh and good. Can definitely recommend.

Don't judge a book by its cover! You feel like you're walking up to an old house, but they make AMAZING pizza! We ordered, and it was ready 20 minutes later. Such good pizza. Not greasy, fresh, and perfectly cooked. We will 100% be back when we travel through this area again.

Perfect spot to grab a pizza to go. We had the restaurant bake our pizza and garlic cheese bread which came out hot and on time. There is no sit down option so the restaurant is nothing to look at, but the food was delicious and the staff friendly. We'd definitely eat here again next time we're in Forks!

This was the first stop for coffee we had taken on our week long trip down the coast. We had just finished our day at La Push and I was really wanting to try out these cute coffee shops you see everywhere! This was seriously by far THE best iced dirty chai I have ever had. And I'm pretty obsessed with chai, and this just blew me outta the water, even more partner said it was dang good!! And we also ordered one of the bagel sandwich's that had all the deli meat, DELICIOUS!! The girl that was working there was so sweet and she made an amazing coffee and sandwich, I am still dreaming about it. And it was such a great price! We stopped on 10/12. Must stop if you are driving through (:

We were passing through from our trip to Olympic and we stopped by 3 times! this place is delicious, definitely recommend the Lotus Drinks! bigfoot’s berries was my favorite! the bagels are also so yummy & definitely made with love!

A great place to pick up coffee. I ordered an oat milk cappuccino and it was excellent. This is a drive through place only. The barista was very nice and cheerful. Very reasonably priced

Great coffee! I had the apple pie latte (seasonal). It took a minute to order and get our drinks, but it seemed to be a single person working the place, so I am very pleased with the customer service. Would definitely stop here again if anything brings me to Forks!

Was driving through on the way to Rialto Beach. Googled “bakery near me” and the review photos made me stop at this place. Got 2 breakfast bagels (one a sausage egg and cheese and the other the one with all the meats) and everything was delicious. The drinks were so good (a blended mocha and a pumpkin something) we stopped back in a couple hours later for more on our way out.

A Shot in the Dark Coffee Breakfast Drive Through is the perfect stop for a quick morning refresher. Their egg and cheese bagel is not only delicious but also an excellent vegetarian option. The stuffed blueberry pancakes are simply heavenly. While the cinnamon roll and pumpkin loaf are just okay, they didn't stand out as freshly made. The smoothie and coffee are both satisfying. If you're looking for a cozy spot to sit down, they have a small table with three chairs in the back. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this charming place and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Forks or passing through. It's worth noting that they also serve breakfast/brunch past 11 am, which is incredibly convenient.

While vacationing in Forks and exploring Olympic National Park, my wife and I stumbled upon this amazing spot—and we’re so glad we did! We hadn’t done much research on food options before the trip, so finding this place open and welcoming felt like a win right off the bat. We loved it so much the first time, we made sure to come back a couple days later for another meal—and it did not disappoint. The first visit, we both had the carne asada tacos, and let me tell you, they absolutely hit the spot. We’re from SoCal and pretty picky about Mexican food, so getting a little taste of home way up in Washington was a real treat. On our second visit, I tried the tamales and my wife got the carne asada quesadilla—both were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. And don’t even get me started on the agua frescas. I had the strawberry limeade (seriously to die for) and my wife had the horchata, which was super smooth and delicious. If you’re in Forks and craving something flavorful and comforting, do yourself a favor and stop by. Great food, friendly vibes, and the kind of place that makes you want to come back again—and again. Highly recommend!

Blink and you’ll missed it! The green taco truck/trailer is worth a stop! These Texans loved the food and homemade drinks. The Jamaica tea was delicious and the strawberry lemonade was the best! You will not be disappointed!

I have to start by saying, I am not a local. This place was simple to find, very friendly service. The food was okay, however if you are from southern California and thinking "Mexican food" won't be the same. The green sauce was fantastic and added a great flavor to the food.

A great food truck! There is informal covered seating. We were looking for a place with vegetarian options and here we were able to order the items without meat. Super tasty!

I had chicken taco and strawberry lemonade. The taco was fresh, the chicken was juicy. The tortilla was soft. It was perfect! If you are on the way to Ruby beach. This is the best spot to have food. Light and fulfilling. The lemonade was hands down the best lemonade I ever had. Family owned. Best food.

One of two food trucks in the parking lot on the way to town center, the taco truck did not disappoint. The burritos and quesadillas were more flavorful than the tacos al pastor, to be honest, but all were good options. They have vegetarian options as well. You can also get rice and beans with your meal or opt not to get rice or beans. A great place for a casual and quick lunch, especially on a nice day. Even on rainy days, there is a sheltered area with a couple of picnic tables.

First time in Forks, WA. Stopped by to grab a bite and had a steak burrito and strawberry limeade. It was super delicious and honestly reminded me of my grandma’s cooking which I loved. 10/10 recommend. The girl behind the cash register was also super sweet! Great service and great food. If I’m ever back in Forks, WA I’ll definitely make a stop here again!

I absolutely loved this place. Plain and simple. It's an old small town bowling alley that deserves more love, the food was absolutely to die for, the bowling was smooth and the staff was amazing. I could feel the love soaked into the floorboards. I don't have a single thing I can critique that wouldnt be fixed with a little more funding.

Stayed in forks while hiking the Olympic peninsula and decided to spend an afternoon bowling after a day of hiking. This was bowling as I remember it as a kid and we had a great time! Had some solid snack bar munchies and a few beers, while rolling a couple games. The owner, Wayne got us all set up and took care of us while chatting with us and being pleasant company. If your in forks and looking for something to do, stop into sunset lanes!

Wade is an amazing guy and he works very hard to keep it going even when he's not getting business. Great bowling alley, great good and retro atmosphere.

What a hidden gem! We stumbled upon Sunset while vacationing in ONP and looking for something fun for our boys to do after a long day of hiking. The reviews were spot on - super friendly owner, delicious food, and a relaxing vibe. Thanks for the hospitality and great conversation!

Some of the best Mexican dinning I've had across the USA. The owners and staff were really nice and accommodating. They told us how they utilize local ingredients as much as possible, even going so far as to have locally foraged chanterelles on the menu when we were there. Their tortillas and sopes were absolute glory. Perfectly moist and tender with great flavor. Overall a great experience that's worth going out of the way for.

Probably some of the best Mexican food I've had while on the road. If you're on 101 near Forks, this is a must stop! Tacos are so good, that handmade fresh corn tortilla be hitting different! The salsa bar has lots of great choices. Wet burrito was very tasty, had it with carnitas. Ordered a huarache with asada & adobada (extra charge for 2nd choice of meat). Friendly and attentive service. Will definitely be enjoying this spot in the future. Pictured: quesadilla plate, tacos, and milanesa de pollo plate from our 2nd visit the next day! That's how good it was, we had to go back. The milanesa plate came with a side of freshly made corn tortillas and it was delicious!!

The best Mexican food in Forks BY FAR. Fresh, authentic recipes from the family who owns the place. Generous portions, decent prices. A BANGIN salsa bar with lots of fresh and marinated veggies. When its available, Santa Ana has the best home-made horchata on the PENINSULA. Just my own opinion, but I spent enough years on the Southern border to know REAL Mexican food when I taste it, as well as marry a hispanic wife who can cook it at home!

Great, no frills place for tacos with fresh tortillas and an amazing salsa bar. Recommend the spiced pork with the pineapple salsa. No booze available so get your margaritas after.

This restaurant is open. They said that are having trouble changing that status. My friend and ate there 9/29/21. Absolutely the place in Forks to eat. Excellent service, fresh ingredients and homemade tortillas - corn and flour! Salsa is free and there is a bar with excellent selections. I’d highly recommend this place and would definitely eat there if I went back to Forks.

Our group of 8 stopped here for dinner tonight. Not going to lie, we didn’t know what to expect, and the wait was pretty long, but the food was delicious and cooked to order. We get Mexican food a lot at home and this was better than a lot of those places. Hands down. The space does seem unfinished- weird bathroom set up, but the food is well worth it.

The space seems unfinished and they did recently move to this new location. But I was more concerned about the food. And that was excellent! Loved my carnitas chalupa and enchilada. My daughter really enjoyed her wet burrito — it was huge! Nice salsa bar. The pineapple one was my fave

The foods are ok. Burger was overcooked from medium that we ordered. Not impressed on the taste. Great view and friendly service. We came in on the busy Saturday dinner. The waiting time is about 30 minutes, 40-50 minutes to wait for foods. If possible idk if you can reserve the spot earlier. If very hungry, you may order the soup. It seems premade so you will get it faster than the main course foods.

Creekside offers a charming setting, fabulous views of the ocean, and delicious food! My husband enjoyed the salmon, I enjoyed the elk burger, my kids relished the crab mac and cheese. The service was great, too. We highly recommend it.

Delicious food! A little pricey, but they know they are pretty much the only option for food in the area. The salmon with mashed potatoes and veggies was excellent! My husband’s crab mac n cheese was also delicious though there wasn’t much meat on it. He wasn’t a fan of the cheese sauce but I thought it was wonderful! The side Caesar salad was really good! Great service from Juanita!

We’re staying at Kalaloch Campground and after a few days of camp food, we decided to treat ourselves to a real meal tonight—and wow, am I glad we did! The menu is small, but everything looked delicious. Yes, it’s a little pricey, but that’s to be expected with location, location, location—and what a location it is! We didn’t have a reservation, so we couldn’t sit on the deck, but honestly it didn’t matter. The view from inside was just as gorgeous. 😍 My dining companion and I both ordered the pan-roasted chicken, and it was perfection—cooked beautifully and full of flavor. For dessert, I went with a snickerdoodle cookie topped with ice cream. The cookie was warm and tasty, but unfortunately the ice cream had an off flavor (almost spoiled), so I’d skip that part. Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping here. If it were in town, I’d be eating here all the time!

Really anticipated a bit more of a WOW factor for such a beautiful location. Although not busy, we waited 3 or 4 minutes to be seated. Our waitress may have been new. She was very quiet. Pleasant. Only 3 choices of tables to take advantage of the beautiful view. Felt a bit lack lusture. Fish and chips were cooked perfectly although slightly greasy when you picked up a piece to eat. The breading tasty; very thick. Salty fries and coleslaw rounded out the meal.

We were visiting Kaloloch in September and went to lunch. It is the only restaurant in the area. It was busy on a Thursday, and we lucked out a table freed up by the window. The menu items were a little expensive. We enjoyed the food, view, the restaurant ambience, and customer service.

We so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. There is not a lot of options available in the area so we expected some overpriced so-so food. We were so wrong. The food was excellent. My wife called her salmon dinner, "the best she ever had." During our stay at the Lodge, we ended up having dinner there twice and breakfast twice. Everything was on point for each meal. For the quality of the meals, the price was justified.

Westend Taproom was… fine. Nothing was particularly bad, but nothing really stood out either. The food was okay, and the beer selection was solid—which was probably the highlight. The staff didn’t seem overly attentive, and the overall vibe just wasn’t all that memorable. It’s not a place I’d rush to return to, but I wouldn’t steer anyone away either. Don’t get me wrong—there’s nothing wrong with the place, it just didn’t leave much of an impression.

I dont remember the last time I gave an establishment 5 stars all the way. I had a few beers and ordered food to go for my nephew and myself. The beer selection was great. And the Paninis were very very good. I sat at the bar and watched as the staff greeted most everyone by name. And those of us they didn't know they treated as if they did. I will definitely be back. Maybe on this trip but definitely on the next one.

We were so thankful to find this little place on our one night in Forks! Walking distance from the Forks Motel. The beers were so absolutely delicious that my partner and I both ended up each getting a second drink, which we never do. They had a lot of unique flavors and types of beer on tap. We got pretzels which were pretty good and I loved the beer cheese. The little table games were fun and a nice touch.

What can I say. This place is amazing! From the minute you walk in until you leave, the friendly customer service, cozy atmosphere, cleanliness, and amazing food and beer treat you right. They have a great selection of ice cold beer on tap. The Panini‘s are amazing and the made to order hot chocolate chip cookies are a must order. Would highly recommend this to anyone traveling through the area or living in the area.

Friendly staff. A lot of drinks on tap. My friend had a FinRiver cider and I had a coors light. Both had ham and gouda panini. Perfect for lunch.

A welcome gem in a town with limited choices. Its beer and cider lineup leans into Washington brews, offering something good for everyone. You’ll find bar food to pair with your pint. I had the beef and cheddar panini and chips. It was good considering it’s not a restaurant. All in all, it's a reliable go-to drinking spot when you're passing through Forks.

This is a great addition to the somewhat limited food scene in Forks. An excellent selection of craft beers, both local and national, complemented by some unique hard cider choices and a very tasty menu of pannini sandwiches and yummy soft pretzels too. The interior is bright and welcoming with natural wood walls and lots of TV screens for watching sports. What we really liked was the covered outdoor seating, compete with electric heaters and roomy picnic tables. They have lots of games too. This place is a winner for me.

A good little BBQ spot. I got the combo plate for a wide variety. My wife and friends got the Pulled Pork Sando. I recommend sharing one sandwich and one combo. It's a lot of food, and we are stuffed. The brisket was slightly dry, but overall, a good cut of meat. The ribs, sausage, and chicken were phenomenal, juicy and well seasoned. The pulled pork sandwich is an outstanding option and, with the tomato-based sauce, is well balanced. They do not always have Mac n Cheese, so don't rely on it being a side option, but the beans are excellent.

(Gluten free everything!! [except the buns]) Best homemade bbq ever. Smokey sweet bbq sauce. Perfectly cooked. Both the ribs and pull pork sandwich. Ribs had the right amount of seasoning. Fall of the bone! Smoked for 8hrs. Pull pork was soo tender and juicy. Beans were sweet and delicious. Slaw was crunchy and full of flavor. (Also Dairy free) Big portions. Great prices! The 2 gentleman working there were super friendly and kind. My wife mentioned how she just can't find gluten free bbq back home and they gave her a bottle of their sauce. Made her day. She literally cried in the parking lot. Must try while in forks! We will be back 💕

We stopped by DK BBQ in Forks and tried the brisket plate, which came with beans and coleslaw. The pork ribs were impressively large, and the service was very quick—they already had everything prepared. The setup is essentially a food truck with some covered seating outside. That said, the place felt a bit overpriced, and the menu prices weren’t visible—they’re covered with black ink on the front chart, which was strange. Overall, it gives more of a touristy vibe than a local favorite.

A classic bbq joint, with delicious sides like coleslaw, Mac and cheese, and a variety of main dishes! We were so hungry and this place hit the spot, but it is filling so keep that in mind, you might get the ‘itis afterward!

Horrible. I’m from out of state. I usually never leave bad reviews but this brisket was disappointing. Brisket: chewy, green, and tough. Beans: smashed refried beans, where’s the BBQ beans? Mac& cheese: decent. Great portions. Unsatisfied after a long hike and drive.

I wanted to like the food here, the signs said slow and low in the bbq pit BUT… the pulled pork on my sandwich was so watery and bland I tasted NO SMOKE. It definitely lacked flavor and just tasted like boiled meat. ( I also found two short hairs that may have been dog hair) the bbq sauce on the side was odd, it was like a spicy tomato salsa? The bbq beans were just unseasoned pinto beans again, very bland and the Mac n cheese was not homemade, it reminded me of school lunch Mac. The coleslaw was ok, it was fresh but again, wasn’t great. 16$ plus tip so I spent $20 on this plate. Portions were big but I would rather have better food and finish my meal over taking a few bites and still being hungry because I don’t want to eat what I received. There were two picnic tables under cover and a few tables outside. The line to order was pretty long and service was a little slow but they were nice. I don’t think I’ll be back.

Slaw and corn not bad, didnt like anything else. They use pellet smokers so no smoke flavor on the meat. When you had a decent BBQ this will definitely disappoint.

After a long day of hiking Longhouse Cafe was exactly what we needed. Incredibly friendly staff from the moment we walked in. They were kind enough to share some samples of some new salmon dishes they were experimenting with. They even brought us in the back where their fresh caught salmon was being prepared. Every single dish was incredible. The rez burger with fry bread was the best burger I have had in years! Burger blend was so juicy and the fry bread texture pairs incredibly with it. the clam chowder was so fresh and delicious. There is something on the menu for everyone here. Can not recommend this place enough!!

Very friendly, very good food. The only downside is how busy it is; we waited a long time for our food, but with the sheer amount of people, it's understandable. I would recommend being prepared to wait. While waiting, if you catch the owner, he will tell you amazing stories about the place. I had the pulled pork and it was amazing; my daughter had the "Rez dog," and it was a cool twist on a hot dog,

The fried bread was delicious. I ordered chili, which the menu noted as homemade. My first bite had me question whether that was accurate. Others in the party ordered different dishes which were good. We also had the smoked salmon appetizer that was really good. Friendly service, great atmosphere with a ton of art and Native American music playing. I am glad we found this restaurant.

Great stop for lunch! Super clean and new looking restaurant right off the highway. Awesomely decorated with local art. The service was super fast and extremely friendly. A friend recommend this place and said it’s native owned. I got the 3 taco sampler which was really good! 3 small tacos on homemade fry bread. All 3 were spectacular! They included slow cooked birria, chili meat, and slow cooked pulled pork. The pulled pork was my fave, has a sweet pineapple flavor with a little cranberry slaw on top. Had the Bigfoot ear for dessert (frybread with cinnamon sugar on top). Def would recommend! Free parking lot with plenty of spots.

This quaint cafe has delicious fry bread tacos, burgers, and other fun combinations. Our group of 5 had the Three Little Indians, the Res Burger, the Smoked Pork Taco, Birria Taco, and Clam Chowder (which comes with fry bread). Service was very welcoming, albeit a bit slow paced. Atmosphere was relatively calm and quiet with the rhythmic tribal music playing in the background. Portions were a bit on the small side for the price, but nevertheless I would recommend given the unique experience and delicious food.

We walked in Tuesday evening and had the place to ourselves for a bit. Super nice lady took care of us. We got the smoked salmon dip (highly recommend). The fried breads they use are amazing. I got the 3 Little Indian tacos. So good.

Service was excellent. There was one waitress and she was very kind, warm, and welcoming. The restaurant itself was cute. We went in with low expectations as Forks is a very small town. We all got fajitas and they were decent. We were not expecting the best mexican food of our lives, we just wanted to eat after a long day in the NP and visiting different beaches. So with all that being said, dont go in expecting to get the best meal of your life, go in, fill your belly and be merry!

Not many places to eat in Forks so you’re limited. Arrived on a Monday night and my wife and I were seated immediately. It began with a rough start because I hate paying for chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant, but no big deal I guess. Ordered the steak fajitas, and it was more bland than a rice cake. There were 3 pieces of steak and a whole bushel of bell peppers sliced on the plate, they must have known my cholesterol is high. The waitress seemed to be a wonderful person and was friendly and helpful all the way through. I’d stop again if I was hungry, but wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way to make it there.

There were more flies than people in the restaurant. They charged for a refill on the chips and salsa (thought that was a universal complimentary dish when it came to Mexican restaurants) and failed to mention it would be an extra charge. Staff were friendly, but I ended up paying $40+ for me and my partner to eat some mid ass food. Would probably skip out on this place until the owners decide to start caring.

This was a welcome stop for lunch during a long drive from Oregon. We had Birria tacos and Sope which were both super tasty. Service was friendly and prompt. The salsa that comes with the tortilla chips was delicious. This place is a gem!

Prices are a bit ridiculous. $4 for a drink and they charge for refills. Chips and salsa were good. My wife thought they needed salt but I thought they were fine like they were. Overall, the flavors were pretty good and the entree sizes were pretty huge. As far as atmosphere, there was a little bit of music playing, but the restaurant itself looks pretty drab.

I learned something this evening, i mean, i know there is bad mexican food out there, but this place really awakened the senses. From the bland salsa with just the proper dash of metalic taste to the gigantic burrito with boiled shredded chick and old refried beans. Can a brother at least get some onion? Perhaps there is currently an embargo on seasoning. How CAN you get chicken that is both so dry, but yet soo absolutely devoid of flavor. Honestly, it might be turkey. At least the waiter was awkward.

No cheese dip. We are accustomed to Mexican restaurants in Georgia, I wanted to alert other Georgians/Southerns, that this restaurant does not do cheese dip. Cheese dip, queso dip, no, they don't serve. Waitress was friendly but did not offer to refill chips/drink. Dining companion said the rice and meal were bland. Steak quesadilla was okay. Their salsa has cilantro in it for anyone who has sensitivity.

Gave this place a chance despite ALL the bad reviews. I got the burrito and it had zero flavor and was drenched in water at the bottom of the plate. Like what, never had a burrito soaking in water at the bottom. I’ve had countless burritos and this was by far the worst!! No seasoning, salt, or pepper was applied to anything. Really not sure how the positive reviews exist, guessing fake? Service was fine and friendly , the restaurant itself felt about 90 degrees and very uncomfortable while inside. Do not recommend. This town actually sucks for food, literally bring your own food. Sad.

Apparently, this family-owned restaurant offers some pretty good Mexican cuisine in our small town. The portions are generous, which is a definite plus. However, there's room for improvement in terms of service efficiency. It would greatly enhance the dining experience if the restaurant could work on being more organized, reducing wait times. Particularly, they should improve the speed of serving tortilla chips and water, as customers waiting for quite some time at empty tables. Overall, with a few adjustments in service will this place better.

Quite average mexican food. We went there for lunch. The quantity can be a bit more generous compared to the price.

Big recommendation. Really great tasting Vegetable Burrito and mexican steak. Wonderful variety of flavours at least with these two. Waiters were very friendly and big + for the free nachos with tasty sauce they put on your table.

Terrible service. Terrible communication. Food was below average. I ordered quesadillas and added meat. The menu said they already came with onions and tomatoes inside the quesadilla, as well as a side of sour cream and guacamole. Once the food came, there was no guacamole- I asked for some and she said they were out. I would have ordered something different if I knew there wasn’t any guacamole. The quesadillas were also missing onions and tomatoes, I asked for some and they argued that when you add meat, they don’t include tomato and onion. Again, that would have been nice to know. On a separate note, we asked for a refil of chips and salsa. We were charged for extra! Never in my life have I been charged for a refil of chips and salsa. AGAIN- would have been nice to know!! Overall, mid food and terrible/attitude filled service. Skip this one.
