Services was great, the champagne could have a been colder, we had to request an ice bucket, the waiter our glass full at all time and when we asked to move outside to finish our it wasn't an issue. Food was fantastic, BBQ pork ribs and the Russian dumplings where divine. I would definitely return.

Amazing food, we had to come back again. So many delicious dishes to choose from. The staff is kind and professional. Loved everything we ordered from soup, salad to lamb chops and grilled fish! So good. Highly recommend. Probably the best food in Yerevan.

One of the best meals we have in Yerevan. Prompt service and delicious food. We came down on fri nite after tour but it was packed and staff say walk in better after 9pm. So we made arrangements to come in at 7pm the next day.

A place to visit when in Yerevan!! Their are making live their bread and lavash with the traditional way. Everything we tried was delicious!! We tried the Harissa, the zengyalov hats, the Khurjin and the Avan (dolma with veal ribs!) Everything was very tasty! Especially the Khurjin with the freshly baked lavash was great! Very good wine, very good and friendly service, good prices and very nice place!

Lavash serves local food. Our guide told us that it is way more cheaper here than Sherep. So we tried here and the ambiance was elegant and cozy. Food is also to our liking. The best was the hummus with bread. But the servings is not good for 3people. The staff called our order baby chicken. :) We paid around 21,000drams. Overall, it was nice experience. We will come back again to try other food in the menu. The staff are also nice and attentive.

Good food, we had the pumpkin meat, and service was very accommodating for rinsing us a table. The Victoria drinks are tasty amd strong. Only area of improvement is the waiter forgot I don't like coriander and let me order a hat dish with it.

We had a lovely experience at Sherep Restaurant. The atmosphere is modern and vibrant, perfect for enjoying a nice evening in Yerevan. The shrimp dish was absolutely amazing flavorful, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. The chicken breast, however, was quite ordinary and felt more like a regular home-style dish rather than something special for this kind of restaurant. On the drinks side, the cocktails were a highlight. They were creative, refreshing, and beautifully served especially the Flamingo, which stood out as something unique and fun to try. Overall, Sherep is definitely worth visiting for its creative menu, good vibes, and great cocktails. Just expect some dishes to shine more than others.

The restaurant has a huge multi-level hall and a really diverse menu. The service is quick (but not really super friendly), and we went there for lunch - what we had was really tasty. I'm sure dinner would be just as great. The only note is that it smells really strongly of food inside, and after less than an hour, all our clothes were just soaked with that food smell. So just keep that in mind , they probably have some ventilation issues.

I had an amazing experience at Sherep Restaurant in Yerevan! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. He was super friendly, helpful, and guided us through the menu, recommending some of the best dishes. Everything he suggested turned out to be amazing. We came here for a Sunday evening dinner. The food was excellent. Service was timely and polite. Overall we had a great experience. The staff gifted a member of our party a bottle of wine since it was her birthday. Only suggestion: Although I prefer no live music at all, the restaurant should always mention it when you book a table. We were originally placed right near the music, however they managed to move us to a slightly quieter table. In the future please remember to mention the music, and perhaps suggest seating upstairs. Otherwise definitely a great restaurant. Diverse menu. Worth coming back.

WOW, this is an outstanding restaurant not to be missed, while visiting Yerewan. Featuring authentic local cuisine ( which is very tasty and due to a lot of healthy ingredients recommendable too, it was well frequented during my visits. Samuel, one of the friendly waiters ( his sister lives in Berlin ) gave perfect advice what to choose. Don’t forget to obtain a reservation during the busy evening hours

Very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Fresh bread is made constantly throughout the day and diners are able to watch it. The cheese plate with local cheese is highly recommended. The medallions in spinach and cream sauce was excellent. The fried oyster mushrooms were also incredibly good. The service is quick and friendly.

One of my must visits when in Yerevan. They always accommodate the special needs , like a place for stroller etc. we tried almost everything soups, salads, mains, grilled menu and everything is very tasty. Their compotes have special place in my heart ♥️

Very good place, went there for breakfast during my visit to yerevan. Had the cheese lahmajo & it was extremely good. We also had the ayran or tan (which is yogurt & salt) which was also great! Highly recommended if you’re in yerevan, eats recommends!!

Great place - we ate at this place twice during our stay in Yerevan and both times were great. I highly recommend the Pesutest (stuffed peppers and eggplants) - we had the big one which was enough for four people and it was really delicious. But the other dishes we tried (qebab & Original) were amazing as well. The staff is also pretty fast and speaks good English.

The food tastes good, but is generally a bit salty. One thing the service can improve is: stop taking away people’s plates so fast, and ask before you want to take it away! We haven’t finished eating yet, and it puts pressure when we want to slowly enjoy the food! This isn’t a good service that deserve 10% service fee.

The food is really incredible and very affordable. The service was excellent, especially our waiter Erik, who could recommend very well what to eat and drink. The music is a nice touch, but a bit loud. On the other hand, it's a live band in a tavern, so it’s kind of normal.

We waited about 20 minutes because we didn’t have a reservation. Unfortunately, there was no live music that night. We were seated in a big private room; it was cool and spacious, but we actually wanted to be in the main restaurant area. The staff were kind but didn’t speak much English. I ordered Khorjin (video), which was delicious, though no one told me it was a dish meant for two/three people. I was the only one at our table happy with my food; my friends didn’t enjoy theirs as much. They also found the room a bit depressing, but I liked the private, family-style vibe. For me, the price-to-quality ratio was acceptable, but overall, my group gave it a lower score

Tasty food with affordable prices. Unfortunately some traditional dishes in google review and their menu were not available. I wished traditional band was there playing. Loved the homemade pickles, rice and Julien dish!

Fantastic small wine bar with both indoor and outdoor seating and a large array of wine to both drink and buy. The caring and smart staff can steer you to different wines depending on your taste, and they were able to select two bottles for me to drink in my home that were amazing. I also tried some wine by the glass in their shop, which was nice to pass some time while the sun set. They serve small meat plates and other finger foods as well.

Went there for drinks with some friends, they have a huge wine selection from different parts of the world. No matter what is ur taste when it comes to wine they can cater for it. We did not have any food so can’t really judge, however the selection is a bit small. Place is a bit understaffed, i believe they have 2 waiters & 1 hostess for the whole place but overall it was a good experience.. they charge you 20% extra for the bottle service but understandable to be honest. Overall eats recommends!

We had an excellent experience here, the wine was delicious and the staff were helpful in finding us bottles of good red, white and sparkling at our preferred price and with the flavors we wanted. There was also a wine matured cheese that was incredible and paired beautifully with the wine that I highly recommend you try.

This has become my favorite spot to enjoy a glass of wine and relax in the evening 💛. They offer an extensive selection of wines (around 1000, according to them) and are happy to suggest the perfect one for you. The food was also delicious, with some unique and creative dishes 😁. We particularly enjoyed the bruschettas – one with chicken curry and another with mango and basturma (you must try this one; it's heavenly 🫠). Special thanks to the wonderful staff 🫰. Definitely worth a visit!

I have reserved a table one month in advance. Since this bar is very very popular. They have a large collection of Armenia wine. I also want to shout out Mr Hrag. He has good knowledge with wines and gives a great recommendation for us. It is a great experience to stay outdoor, enjoy the weather and the city vibe. We will revisit this bar again definitely 👍🏻

Nice food, reasonable prices, good service. Nothing really blew me away but you won’t go wrong in coming here.

This was an incredible meal. Every dish was deeply satisfying, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The manti soup was especially memorable — rich, tangy, and comforting. The beef was life changing. Service was warm and the whole experience felt unpretentious and dialed in. No hesitation giving this a full 5/5. It has been a week and I'm still thinking about this meal as I write this. Would happily come back anytime.

Don't miss this restaurant if you are in Yerevan. The menu featured pictures of the food but could use more explanation, which Armin provided. I never tasted better manti, made painstakingly on the spot and baked to perfection with a magical sauce of garlic and yogurt. Unlike the customary extra-fatty kebab that you regret later, the lamb-beef kebab was lean and tasty (despite being a bit too salty and spicy). The lahmacun was awesome and so was the freshly baked bread that took a while to cool. The truly gourmet experience made us return for another treat.

Absolutely disappointed with the service. My friends and I — four photographers — had lunch here after a long shoot. We were sitting around a table full of our gear, eating and chatting about work. In the middle of our meal, a server cleared the table without asking or even noticing the equipment and items we had laid out. Shockingly, my memory card was thrown away with the trash. When I explained what happened, they were dismissive and unhelpful. I had to insist multiple times before they finally handed me the trash bag so I could look for it myself. Thankfully, I found it — but not a single apology was given. It's incredibly frustrating and unprofessional to treat customers like this, especially when valuable work equipment is involved. Such a disappointing experience.

It's really quality restaurant with good starters and grilled meat and chicken. Very good beef and lamb kabab. Good fresh sesame bread. I didn't like the grilled aubergine as it's without skin. The kabab meat skewer has lamb and beef minced together which is not good. The service should be much better as the service not in order of food. The place is quite warm which is uncomfortable with hot food. The quantity of food should meet the higher prices.

There is not even a one thing not to like about this place! Located in the heart of Yerevan this place excellently conveys the spirit of the city. Nice design, very different from any other restaurant, great food (I fell in love with their delicate berry dessert and Ofeta’s dream- tomato with cheese dish). Excellent service- everyone including owners are very warm, friendly, and professional. I did my classmates and family reunions there (2 different occasions). Both times everyone enjoyed it. All of us felt like we were home, not in a restaurant. Great atmosphere. Don’t miss this place if you live or visit Yerevan.

I’ve never had a positive experience in this place. Every time I go there they cannot accommodate a table. So when I decided to book a table, they gave me a tiny table where one person can barely fit and that was for a group of 3-4. The staff can never find solution, considering that half of the place is always empty and “reserved”. Very low customer experience and service.

It was a rustic place but cosy. The young lady who was serving was very friendly and sweet. Tried a Portuguese wine that was delicious. Will definitely go back. Walking distance from my hotel.

Not an exceptional place but has quite a few positive things to mention. The stuff is very friendly, helpful and can be nice when asked for a suggestion or a recommendation. The interior is very welcoming and you can have a quiet time there. The food was fine, we liked more the wine (tried from the Armenian red one- Takri), prices were okay, not too pricey for a place like that.

Upon arriving Yerevan there were pictures and billboards of khinkali everywhere. I was told that this would be the best place. Disappointed that the food was very mediocre and the service took forever and a day to get to the table. Very slow. Very very very very slow. Not worth the wait

I live the beef dumplings “Khnikali” here and also the mini beef dumplings “penguini” the place is very clean and has indoor and outdoor seating. The service was great and food was very tasty and delicious. Would recommend for people to try when visiting Yerevan, Armenia.

the waiter service is bad and lacked any efforts (maybe it’s a language barrier but then this restaurant is in the heart of the city). the dessert came first, we sent it back, after the starter the dessert came again and we told them we want it last, they just put it behind our table for us to take ourselves when we are done with all the dishes. the sequence of dishes they screwed up completely they seem to just serve whatever is ready. we went for this restaurant to order khinkalis which we ordered (we know it takes a bit of time to prepare) but THEY NEVER CAME. after about 50 minutes when we saw that tables who came way after us getting khinkalis while we were still waiting. we ordered the bill and called it a day. CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT to anyone.

The food was below average but service was the worst thing I have ever experienced. We sat for over 40 minutes just to order our food. This was after we had asked several people to take our order. After our order, we waited for almost an hour for our food. The food came room temperature at best. It’s crazy that you can go across the street and have food that’s faster and better.

While we didn't have a reservation, the staff was kind enough to seat us, which we were grateful for. Loved the fried mushroom khinkali (amazing!), pork tenderloin, and BBQ lamb chops at Tumanyan Khinkali. Smaller portions but great quality. Cool, historic interior.

Walk in for dinner without reservation: they were very accomodating and seated my family of five. The food was very good and environment was nice. We also ate in their branch in Tsaghkazdor which was even better. They're probably not used to tourists or cultural difference so service is not as customer friendly as in the America's. Place definitely worth trying!!

Well, it is rightfully considered the best microbrewery and this not only because of the beer, itself, but for the whole combo: really beautiful place (inside, outside, underground - everything completely beautiful and in an industrial decor), the nicest and most interesting staff (you might not even consider them staff by the time you leave, just friends), and really nice food - with plenty of options (much more than you'll need or think you need). Alright yes, the elephant in the room of course 😊 - it goes without question that you should try as much as you can from the three sets of samling menu (each set provides 5 different brews - with a fruity and a black always included); this way you get the best of all otherwise, how will you manage to try them all?? 😉 Excellent beer and a place overall, in a "hidden" area with more locals - you CAN'T not visit this (at least once 😉) when in Yerevan.

Fun place, lots of energy and really friendly staff. Great vibe indoor or outdoor. We just stopped for wings and tacos which were great (tip: get the hot sauce on the side). Delicious beer and they have great non-alcoholic beer, bonus! Recommended by a local and we highly recommend 🇨🇦

A nice place for tasting some locally brewed beer. The selection is quite wide, all the beer options are locally brewed. I tried their russian imperial stout which was very good, my girlfriend had apricot ale which I personally did not like that much but she did:). After that I tried one of their beer flights, the bohemian pilsner was below average, the rest was good with the best being their biere blanche. We also tried their loaded fries which were very tasty, with a lot of cheese and sauce.

What a great establishment! The beers are really good (LOVE the apricot beer) and the food is good as well. Also a very nice spot to sit and friendly staff. Great!

A lot of choices for beer, my personal favorite is apricot beer, it's really light. Food is also great, we ate their burger. Cool atmosphere and fast service. Beeramisu was a delish dessert.

Great place for craft beer lovers! I had a great time at Dargett Craft Beer—they offer a wide variety of unique and expertly crafted beers. It was a fun experience to try different flavors and styles. Definitely worth a visit if you're into quality and variety!

What a beautiful place! The entrance is to the souvenir shops/art galleries.. it was beautiful! They have uniquely beautiful stuff good for souvenirs that you won’t find anywhere else in Yerevan. Inside also there is a cafe/restaurant we had katchapuri, some yoghurt salad and drinks. Katchapuri maybe juat that day it was too salty, like too much! But the quality of the food and service is ok!

We had such a good time here, the place is beautifull in special not "manicured" way. The waiter was very friendly, food and coffee excellent, prepared timely. The gift shop is pricey, but every piece is so beautiful (we found few items in duty free shop and they were even more pricey)

I can say the food is normal no special taste unlike the ambience was quite nice. A lot of tourists and groups visit this place. Service was a bit slow but we do not regret visiting this place as it is a must.

Probably the best place we’ve visited so far in Jerevan. The staff were attentive and proactive, and the food was very good for a fair price. It’s connected to a nice art gallery and has a lovely, well-lit garden in a quiet courtyard. Excellent Karas wine, and the beer was good too. Highly recommended.

A relaxing vibe here and would say it is one of the best restaurants here in Yeveran 🤩 Tried their Arishta with Ghaurma, Omelette with tomatoes, Margherita, Cheese Plate with friends! They are all very salivating. Don't forget to order some glasses of Pomegranate Wine 🍷 It is sweet and sour at the same time to get appetite for the feast 🍲 Shout out to the friendly staff!

This restaurant is set in a lovely back garden with a pleasant ambience. The food offers decent value for money, though I wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend it purely for the quality. The host was initially insistent on seating us at the very back of the garden, despite available tables at the front where we preferred to sit. After some convincing, we were able to sit where we wanted. Apart from that, the rest of the service was fine. 1. Service: Not bad overall, but the seating issue detracted from the experience – 0.5 stars. 2. Quality: Food was decent but not remarkable – 0.5 stars. 3. Value for money: You mentioned it offers decent value – 1 star. 4. Aesthetics, ambience, and overall experience: Nice ambience in the garden – 1 star.

We read about "this is the best lahmajun" etc... But no... Nice lahmajun and other stuff. But just ok... The food was just ok and a bit unsalty... The dough was a bit dry and all the four things we tried had much flour from outside. Nothing great or special, as we had much better lahmajun etc elsewhere... Good prices and friendly service though...

THE BEST LAHMAJUN IN ARMENIA. This hidden place is unbelievablely amazing! I have traveled to do many places and ate at so many places but this is the best Lahmajun I ever had in my life! My cousin and I ate 7 but it was so good we ate four more. All their lahmajun options were extremely delicious! I recommend try one of each, or 2 of each, or 3 of each! It was crunchy, warm, made with love and felt like it was at home. I will come back again and again! Thank you!!!

What a wonderful restaurant — friendly and delicious! The dough is light and scrumptious, and everything is superbly seasoned with fresh spices and herbs (check out the sumac in the spinach). Can’t wait to come back!

Extremely fresh and delicious, and has a nice small family business vibe to the place. They are very good with making suggestions and providing quick and excellent service. The Lahmajoun Gaidz was my favourite. Might be the best Lahmajoun in Yerevan.

We went there twice and tried several dishes. Dolma and some fish stew were delicious! The other dishes were so so. The interior is nice and even though many staffs don’t speak English, they were kind enough and there were no problems to communicate.

Good food and prices, great service and the place is really cool. I didn't give 5 stars because the hummus was lacking salt and I found one of the dishes a little bit tasteless (the one with the bread flower). The dish with the red sauce in the photo was very good.

We loved the interior- very cozy and reminded us of different neighborhoods we’ve walked through in Tbilisi. We ordered khinkali, Georgian mushroom salad and the khachapuri. All were delicious and came out hot and fresh. The staff were very attentive and checked on us several times to make sure we were enjoying.

I eat at this place a lot and usually it’s a good experience but I’m sharing my latest experience here. I ordered my usual shawarma and the guy made it for me, usually after making they put it in a grill so it’s nice and hot but this time he just gave it to me cold. I wasn’t paying attention so I didn’t check when he handed it to me but it was suspiciously quick so that should’ve been a giveaway. Anyways I come home and it was literally raw cold shawarma that fell apart as I opened it which was sad.

The shawarma is good I ordered the chicken shawarma and it was very fresh. The prices are also reasonable. As for the atmosphere, I’d suggest adding air conditioning, because eating in the heat is quite uncomfortable. The heat from the shawarma grill makes it even worse during mealtime. As for the fries either make them really good or don’t serve them at all. I’d recommend going for a salad instead of the fries. The staff and the chef are really great people. All in all, it’s a good shawarma spot.

I ordered French fries with deep-fried chicken at 5 in the morning, the smell of the food is unpleasant. as if the food had been sitting all day and was already dry. everything is very hot, as if taken out of the microwave. Very strange. I didn't finish, it’s not tasty. took two salads. salads are generally not that bad. when my fires were ready, they didn't even call me. but the cashier was polite. I wouldn't come back here for food again even if I will be very hungry. I cannot recommend this cafe.

Food is ordinary. The girl who is cashier just receives money and gives you the receipt without any extra word. You have to know how and from whom receive your food. In my case I was waiting 45 minutes and none of the staffs tell me that I have to go to the barbeaque man myself and inform him about my order. The cashier girl treats you rude and impolite. Drinks are given to you warm and they don't have ice in their restaurant. Overall, there are many better restaurants in yerevan in this price level. Just read the comments that tourists (not Locals) have left.

Tumanyan Shaurma is one of the best and oldest spots for shaurma in Yerevan! 🌯 The taste is always consistent, fresh, and full of flavor. It’s a place with history and tradition, and you can really feel why it’s so popular with both locals and visitors. Fast service, reasonable prices, and authentic Yerevan vibes. One of the best Shuarma we've tasted in Yerevan! Superb as the meat is fresh and newly cooked when they serve it. The bread is not too dry. And serving is fast. Really a must try!

This place was recommended by someone I know and I was really excited but unfortunately disappointed. Food is below average - no taste. But staff are really the main reason why I rate this place bad. Arrogant, not attentive, not approachable, with attitude (lady at hostess desk - I approached to ask for a washroom and she told me the way without even looking at me and rolled her eyes). The waiters (all men) are the same. Very rude. As if they hate working there. When we ate, we asked for a menu to check to order something else, instead we were given a check, which we said no we asked for a menu, and the guy reacted really weird - he was disappointed and didn’t even say a word, made an angry facial expression and left irritated. We were going to order more, but since his act ruined our appetite we only asked for a dessert and decided to leave. So far this place has the worst service in Yerevan, which I’m super shocked, as all other restaurants and bars we went had nice staff.

I've been here a few times before and the food has always been good, this time included. But the service has really gone downhill. We ordered a bottle of white wine, and what arrived was clearly off, probably badly corked. That kind of thing almost never happens. I hesitantly mentioned it to the server, and instead of taking my word for it, he insisted on tasting it himself. It was awkward and dismissive. I told him we know the wine well, including the producer, and that we specifically chose it. Still, he still insisted I was wrong. Only after some back and forth did he finally bring a new bottle. Then we waited 35 minutes and asked five times for an ice bucket. Each time they said it was coming. On the sixth ask, they finally admitted they didn't have any buckets or ice left, so we were left with warm white wine. Food was fine, as usual, but this kind of experience really put a damper on the evening. I probably won't be back.

This place is amazing. Food is delicious, service is very friendly and helpful. Nothing is a problem. Not very pricey. The eggplant rolls are to die for. Secret tip: order the eggplant rolls and the garlic deep they serve with meat. You will love it!

Nice and authentic place to enjoy real Yerevan mood with the locals. Great choice of local wine and exclusive serving of the dishes. We were impressed with the dish Under one roof which was served with fire. This place is favorite for birthdays so you'll have a chance to applause and sing for the celebration with the party near by your table. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Kufta here is the best one I've tried.

Great place with quick service and limited menu which makes it great for a quick bite. I ordered the sandwich with bread, and don't recommend it, better take shawarma as bread is good but too thick, difficult to bite and chew, and takes over the taste of other ingredients which are themselves pretty good.

Fast food type of place. The lahmejoun is crazy good. It’s very big and one of them can fill a grown man’s belly! Limited menu but everything looks good. I also had the khatchapouri which was good.

This used to be a good place years ago, back when I had their Adana lahmajoun (which was so good). However, we recently visited their newly opened fast-food branch at Mega Mall, and the lahmajouns we bought went straight to the trash due to a horrible smell and strange taste. The customer service needs improvement.

It was my maybe second experience in my life with them. But you judge yourself. I pre-ordered food for 17:00, several hours before. Exactly to not face circumstances and delays. My order has arrived at 18:34. While I was still charged for basically undelivered service. Also, I found a metallic staple right inside fries. Obviously, never again.

Cafeteria type restaurant with different stations for different food. It pretty much all came together fairly quickly. The food itself was delicious 😋 Clean tables and friendly staff. Highly recommend for a casual meal at an excellent price 🇨🇦

It's réputation overhyped. The staff don't seem willing to serve. They put too many chips in the kebab and too little meat. The cashier also tried to charge me for the most expensive item/option without telling me. The Solyanka was very watery with hardly any meat! Maybe they have become complacent and a little greedy. Very average or slightly below experience. If you are hungry and can't find anything else, it's the last option to eat here?

I returned here after a few years, remembering the good grilled meats. This time, the service was terrible from the start. When I tried to pay with a card with a PIN, the bald cashier was rude. He slid my card into the terminal and threw the terminal at me, as if I were at least a citizen of the Russian Federation. Behavior below reproach. If he's working as a punishment, he should be fired immediately. Then, when I ordered meat without onions, the staff misunderstood and served lavash with just meat and onions. The meat was okay and the prices reasonable, but the service was terrible. Greetings from Poland.

Descending a small staircase from street level you find a subterranean bunker style series of dining rooms with large beautiful tables and tastefully decorated walls with a very homey feeling. Indeed, the service welcomes you with open arms into The Club. The menu is rotating and seasonal, as the waitress pointed out to me, to ensure freshness of ingredients and locality. Grilled proteins are kissed with flame to get that great smoky charred flavor and adored with sauces and expertly prepared sauces. I also loved their wine and was steered to several excellent reds over the course of my dinner. I was also gifted some dessert, an example of the gracious hospitality of the restaurant. Would definitely return.

A really special place with a comfortable atmosphere. The combination of the steak along with their 6100 wine was perfect and would highly recommend. Also, there are very creative vegetarian options available. Finally, the service was top class with the history of the restaurant explained to us. It is clear that they take a lot of pride in what they do.

Best dinner we had in Yerevan! We had the club manti, the club dolma, fried cabbage, lamb cobs and anoush gata. All excellent dishes—the cabbage was really superb! We also had very nice wine (white and rose). The atmosphere is magical and very cosy. We had the pleasure to meet the owner — he really seems a great guy! Truly recommended!!

Very interesting dinner indeed. I was for the whole time the only person in this restaurant on a Wednesday night. I had the four course menue, which was good! I enjoyed every part of it. The service was a little weird. Some language barriers and generally very fast (too fast) serving of the next course. Adding the tip produced a way to high sum on the machine... Not on purpose. It's in a cellar, no windows. But pleasant atmosphere.

The best meal we have had while in Yerevan. Great detail was put into the flavours, ingredients and presentation. Our host was helpful in every way, making it a truly enjoyable experience. We had bread, a luscious salad, chicken and the cabbage paired with some wine. Highly recommended.

The Place you don't expect: downstairs, an iron door with a small window let you enter a fantastic cave. Books, photos, wine bottles, good food and friendly guest. We had a fantastic Armenia experience.

Totally blown away! This has been my best meal in Yerevan! We also had a bottle from the owner's vineyard which was great! A really authentic feeling!

This place is worth more than just one visit while in Yerevan! Centrally located, beautifully designed, spacious and elegant, with live music in the evening and professional, helpful and very friendly service (Aram did a great job!) and a rich menu with clear photographs that let choose the dishes more precisely. This is one of my favorite spots in Yerevan. The mini beef dumplings “mantee”” (pictured is my favorite with the yogurt sauce. Very clean and nice atmosphere. The service is very professional and friendly. It’s a must try when visiting Armenia.

A very enjoyable evening, we had a delicious meal, tartar was irresistible a must try! Friendly service, food came out fast. There was also live music, but we were sitting in a corner small room so didn't get to hear much. Prices are also reasonable. Best to make a reservation in advance.

Absolutely superb food, lovely gentle live music. We had the mantı for mains and it was just like how a "mayrig" would make it. It's also very clean and the service is great. Highly recommend.

Went for brunch and everything was way too sweet for our palette and had too much oil/butter (We ordered foods that typically aren’t very sweet). Also pretty pricey for what the food is. Nice atmosphere though and the outdoor seating area is enjoyable.

Kamancha Restaurant — a must-visit for anyone traveling to Armenia! 😍 An excellent restaurant with amazing staff, unforgettable food full of rich flavors, and beautiful live music that adds to the whole experience. If I had more time, I would’ve definitely gone back again!

We had a lunch here, food is delicious, service was so-so, ask waiters to check plates coming from the washer, so they are clean, before they go on the table. Atmosphere was not good, because every 10-20min a begger women would approach and ask for money, when we said we don't have cash, they offered to make a mobile transfer 🤦🏻‍♀️ I guess next time they will approach with ATM. Please, take care of this, it destroys all the atmosphere for outdoor serving, especially if different women (2-3) approach each 10-20min.

The food was overall not bad but not "wow" either (just add a bit of salt to "everything" please, and no I am not a salty eater). I think 4 stars are quite fair for it. Service and atmosphere deserve 5 stars.

We were recommended the restaurant as a “must visit” during our trip to Armenia. Well nothing special, moreover very slow and unorganized service. We were seated at the same time with another table , their baked order came earlier than our compote, salad and cold appetizers. Rezhan was served in a tiny portion which is the smallest we had in centrally located all popular restaurants. Their “Armavir” main dish is ok. Visited twice to give a chance but same outcome.

Great spot for small or large groups. Food was pretty good. The cold beef with ghee and onions are a must, don'tbe fooled by the cold look of the ghee. Hon (Cornelian cherry) juice was very flavorful. Staff were very attentive.

First time visiting to Kamancha as it was a recommendation. Although place was fully booked, we have been given a table within 5-7mins of we walked in, even knowing had no prior booking. Girl at the welcoming was super helpful. Outstanding service by Gor, very helpful advices on choices of foods. Not much wait on foods either. Food very delicious and soft. Most importantly, food not salty as many restaurants have. Price incredibly good, actually impressed with. Glad did not pay attention to those negative reviews as it was best thing we have done to choose Kamancha over all! Must visit again and definitely recommending. Kamancha is without doubt the place to go in Yerevan for delicious food. From the moment you walk in, you feel the warmth of the staff — they are some of the most wonderful people you’ll ever meet, attentive and genuinely caring. They know what Gluten-Free means! (Rare in Armenia in general and Yerevan in particular.) The server helpfully walked me through everything that is GF — & the ingredients of any meal or beverage on the menu. Highly recommended! Amazing experience. The food here is very filling, tasty, and very well presented. Everything on the menu is also reasonably priced and affordable. Certainly a hidden gem in yerevan for those seeking a healthy and tasty meal that won't go to your waist! Perfect place for those also looking for vegan and gluten free options. The inside of the restaurant is very well laid out and modern with an artistic twist. The music makes for a great atmosphere. Came back two days after my first visit with more people and will certainly come back for more.

We visited for late breakfast. The place was empty when we came. Our order was very simple-an Avo toast, an omelette and 2 smoothies, food took forever to get ready, and it was very average. Bread was stale:( Interior is kind of cute, but it was extremely cold inside, we wanted to leave as soon as possible.

This was my favourite place in the whole of the city. If your looking for a healthy restaurant that has vegan food as well as meat then this is a great place from the decor to the service everything is perfect here. They are making super fresh juices everyday and the prices are super reasonable around $2 for a fresh juice. Food is great and lots to choose from. They are all healthy meals. This is one of the only restaurants in Yerevan you can come out feeling light and healthy afterwards.

Highly recommend, must try in Yerevan! This is one of the best tasting, well presented meals I have ever eaten and so fresh and nutritious. This is well worth a bee line visit when you get to Yerevan (so you know where to return!). Incredible value, I had Mushroom&spinach (amazing), green burrito (also amazing) and pot of masala tea for around US$10. Check this place out.

Fresh and healthy. Cool vibe. Large portions. I ordered chicken soup - it was wholesome, and Bruschetta set - it came with 3 different toppings, each one delicious and with fresh ingredients. On my second visit I ordered Chicken Bowl - with avocados, spinach, cherry tomatoes and tahini sauce.

Excellent place for local cuisine. We had pork loin, lamb barbecue, stuffed eggplant, sarma (cabbage wrapped) and manti (ravioli looking dough). All delicious, but highlight for the eggplant and sarma. Some difficult communicating in English but nothing major except from a still water instead of sparkling :)

This review is strictly service related. The restaurant is owned by a group that has other restaurants. We came here based on the experience of Louis Charden the previous day. There we were greeted with a smile, brought to a table, given menus and waitress Meri was phenomenal as well as the other 2 girls behind the counter. Here a complete disaster (food was very good) - 3 hostesses with no smile sitting on their phones, one decides to walk 20 feet in front of us to show to a table. Dropped the menus and left. No waiter or waitress came up for 15 minutes, just walked passed us. I had to get up and go to where 5 of them were just standing and talking. I asked them if I can order or just keep looking at the menu. They finally came to take order. Food came out and was very good. Again is not a review of their food. They did not come up once to see if we wanted anything else (don’t you suppose to upsell customers with more food or ask how the dinner is?) We finished and I had to yell to get a check. No dessert offered. This is just odd. We paid and left. If you just want to eat food and zero expectations of service then it’s ok and the prices are reasonable. If you want to have a great dining experience please choose another restaurant. This was the first restaurant in Yerevan that made us feel unwelcome. They should take a class from Louis Charden. For the owners of this restaurant, you should consider retraining the staff. Good luck in the future.

Food was so delicious that we even forgot to make a photo 🤭 amazing lamb kebab, chicken soup, appetizer set (specially eggplant appetizer, next time will order only it), dolma was exceptional , spring salad if I remember name correctly was aslo good, everything fresh and yummy Girls who met us on the entrance were so welcoming and nice with our baby Second time we were not so lucky because we asked for advice for dishes and waiter recomended us soup with kefir, and I am lactose intolerant, so couldn’t ate it, same with salad, salad wath with cream, even for my husband it was too fatty But still overall I would recommend to visit this restaurant, food is veeeery good

The food and service were very good, but it was super hot in there and two fans were not able to make it bearable. Tye mist was going down on the side for people sitting on the ground floor. If you are going to use this place in hot times, make sure your reservation is for inside spaces where there is a working A/C.

Vostan is one of the best restaurants in the heart of Yerevan. Location is superb, but the decoration of the main entrance door is not suitable for the restaurant, many people pass it and they don't realize that this place is a restaurant. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Service is good. Prices are in mid range. Food is delicious, but need to change some items in Vostan set dishes. I recommend visiting this place.

I enjoyed it for what it was. Beautiful courtyard and for that alone it was worth the visit. Ordered the lamb kebab, disappointed that it comes alone and have to order multiple other dishes with it. Menu isn’t very descriptive so this is a challenge. Staff were friendly to me but hard to know who was waiting my table as there was a different person each time.

Equally good for a 7 am breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Clean, cozy, tasty. A lot of the prices are over the top but the steak salad and the pasta with chicken and dried tomatoes are really worth it. You can also get half portions if you want to try multiple things. The staff is great, and Edmon is the most caring waiter.

Although I preferred the old Aperitivo, this new version is also nice—especially thanks to some of the familiar staff still being around. I loved starting my day here with a cup of coffee; it gave me a creative boost for the day ahead. The atmosphere is still pleasant, but I liked it more before—it felt more authentic and homey.

A great breakfast place around the Cascade Complex and the vibe is giving me a glimpse back in Rome! Had Cappuccino and Tiramisu Pancake and it's all amazingly delicious. This has been my favorite place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, friends gatherings, and work for so many years. I was a regular customer of this place almost on a daily...until today. Found a piece of glass in my water which I almost swallowed. After reporting this to the manager, we received "sorry, anyways" kind of response and then were presented with the bill without even considering a complementary attidute like nothing happened. When asked about their policy for such situations, the manager replied "well, you have finished eating already, the best I can do is remove the drinks from the bill if you wish." I could have ended up in hospital with various ruptures and the best they could do was remove the drinks as a favor after I asked. In a civilized place, I shouldn't even be having this conversation. Not sure what to call this. Recklessness at its best. I am extremely saddened by the fact that I am never going back to my favorite spot unless the management and customer care policies are fixed and effectlively functional. This kind of attitude by the manager shouldn't be tolerated by the owner.

Added 1 star for location and 1 star for friendly staff. The rest: waaaay overpriced place. Long waiting time. Even simple dishes take a LOT. Overall place is uncomfortable. Seating is meh..at best.

There's a lot of points to visit, Sauntering through in Yerevan. But this place is great, don't miss it, Don't pass by this joy and fun! Not just food (though very tasty), Not just wine (though cool and fine) You will throw away all hasty, Being on the cloud nine. We've seen many different places, Some were good, some for debate, And this one is best of cases, Shining like a gift of fate. Not quite chip. But, rest assured, Prices're fair. And "au adieu" Piano boss, our lovely mistress - Gayane will play for you.

This is a must visit if you are in Yerevan. The restaurant itself is quite difficult to find, you must go through the arch where there is a coffee shop and then the signs will direct you. Once you are there you will not be disappointed. The owner is wonderful and gave us a tour of the building which has an interesting history. The food is also great, the tolma is a must try.

One of the best food I had when I visited Armenia in 2018. It's a shame to see it Temporarily Closed. Definitely high on my recommendation list.

The rave reviews aren't wrong! At Gayane's is a cosy place with delicious home cooked food. Gayane was kind enough to try and explain some of the Armenian dishes to me and her meal recommendations were spot on. The eggplant dolma especially was super tasty. Prices really reasonable especially for the portion size! The place is a bit hard to find - best is to walk in through the arches at 35 on Tumayan street then turn right and walk all the way down to the end where the restaurant sign is softly illuminated. If you see a small park you've gone the wrong way!

This was a good experience restaurant. It really looks and feels like a home. The food was also like a grandmother would cook it. Everything was really good. The 3 stars are because the prices are not really that good. Compared to other better restaurants that cost less and the food was much better and the portions were a lot bigger. But it was still a nice experience and the place is beautiful And it is a bit hard to find since it is a bit hidden betweem buildings and google maps doesnt give you a decent path. (But thats the fault of the app)

We visited Derian based on recommendations for their Dolma and Manti, as well as the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience did not fully meet expectations. The Dolma (Yalanchi and Sarma) were decent and perhaps the best we have tried so far in Yerevan, but still below the standard we are used to. The cheese boerek was visually appealing with a crisp, well-baked dough, though the cheese filling lacked authenticity. The “Derian Special” was underwhelming, and the Chikufte, while nicely presented, did not deliver on flavor. Unlike versions we’ve enjoyed elsewhere, which are typically accompanied by salad, hot sauce, pomegranate sauce, herbs, and lemon, this dish was served only with hot sauce and a very small portion of salad. Service also left room for improvement: although we were the only guests at the time, four people were given only two menus, and water glasses had to be requested. Overall, while the restaurant shows potential, our visit was not in line with the high praise often found in other reviews.

Derain is a very special restaurant with a variety of Oriental and Mexican food… The staff is great and the food is perfectly done… Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Bazaar and wants to have lunch ✌🏻

Good value and extensive range of chicken, beef and salad/hummus options. Two of us, together ordered Beef Ichi Bir wrap, brain and tongue salad (light on palate), lamb Ghouza (exceedingly aromatic with its cashews), bean fool (generous, and rich), bread, and drinks: total 10,120AMD. Quiet Tuesday evening, possibly too quiet if wanting bubbly atmosphere and staff not especially outgoing, though appreciated their helpful English. Note 10% service charge.

Ver good service in a small and cosy place. The food is more of a quick snack bar though. While it definitely it's cheap, that's also the quality of the food. It's no fine dining. I did expect a bit more sophisticated way of preparing the food. The meat is processed and makes no good impression, the bread is cold and from a plastic bag. For the price it might be fine, but I'll not go again. Portions also tiny.

I had a chicken Shawerma in Zatar pizza with 1000 drama and it was delicious and I can say is the best and cheapest restaurant in Yerevan.

I've ordered Lahmujan which was really delicious. Also you can ask for a slice of lemon to make it even more delicious. The price was reasonable and you may need to wait a few minutes because normally they are busy.

Traditional dessert experience for travelers

One of the loveliest places in Yerevan and one of my favorites for dessert lovers 🍧✨️🍫 everything is delicious and super affordable. The place is colorful and adorable. Perfect for children. 🫶

Lots of great sweets made locally at this bakery! There is a train that is on tacks above your head! The kids liked watching it while shopping. They don't give samples so that was a bummer. Staff not friendly for it being a candy shop... They wanted to charge me for two bags for the snacks but I told them charge me for one big bag and they argued with me! I don't want to carry two bags, I want one big one... Not sure why they know better than me on what I want to carry....

Sweets are good, there is no service as such. You buy at the cashier and eat. 😀 people are polite.

I've been to this place several times already and like it a lot. It's quite affordable and cozy, and has a great location. However, there are a few things that undermine my overall impression: - The tables are close to each other, so you basically can hear others' conversations and they can hear yours, - You can pay either with cash or by transferring the bill amount to the credit card number they give (doesn't seem right), - During my last visit I accidentally spilled the mulled wine on the tablecloth, however the waiter didn't offer to replace it, so for the rest of my visit I just sat there with a large chunk of the tablecloth in wine, - The selection of alcoholic drinks is very limited (I think adding a few common cocktails to the menu may be a good idea). P.S. Mulled wine goes well with cold evenings!

I noticed a new restaurant opened around the corner. Stopped by for early dinner. Outdoor sitting was pleasant. No one was outside. Perhaps due season and 6PM early dinner time. Food was below average. Fish was overcooked. Broccoli was just steamed with no spice. Mashed potato was just boiled potatoes, very dry. No spice. Presentation was poor. Only prices were impressive and outdoor settings. Didn’t check inside

Food is good, service has opportunity to improve. Waited quite a long time for a cup of tea. Also had a strange experience here during breakfast time. They showed menu for breakfast and then refused to take us in, saying they’re not open for breakfast. Not sure why they need breakfast menu in that case..

Excellent food excellent prices

I ate here twice and there was never a problem with the portions size or timing. The weiter make us always aware that there will be a delay in fresh prepared food. The food was always tasting great and the pricing is hard to beat. Recommend kebabs and strained Joghurt salad with it. If you combine both flavors you get something amazing out of it. The Khinkali took both tome about 30min but we ordered it anyway. To be fair we didn‘t get any of the fast food and always went for the bbq‘s. Have your own opinion considering budget and quality and you wan‘t be disappointed.

Food is fresh and tasty, local cuisine for very good price. Free WiFi, good music, attentive staff. I must say I kind of like it, even if there is kind of fast food atmospete it's actually only the appearance.

Food was too salty specially chicken. Sometimes they add too much salt in order to preserve foe longer time.

Worst delivery service I've experienced in any Caucasus country.Ordered 4 times and everytime there was something missing,or not as I.requested to be,deliveries are bad always late,they smell and vulgar and rude. Don't EVER order meat or chicken it's really bad

the hall is cramped but going down the stairs there is a good place. fries are delicious. chicken is ok. BUT: it feels like they beat chickens hard in life. they have severe hematomas and crushed bones with gore that goes beyond the breading. DO NOT ORDER DRUMSTICKS. you can see why, in the photo

Food is standard but No AC during summer time?

The fried potato has an awful taste, like it is rotten or something. It looks good though. I am not sure what is exactly wrong with it but the taste is 100% unedible.

In Armenia,Yerevan's Dalma mall's KFC free unlimited cola, Fanta are available.Because of it there is a huge rush there and items are become unavailable quickly. Sometimes the Chicken wings & Drumsticks will be sold out.

The coffee itself is great and the music selection is varied, eclectic, and uh-may-zing! I appreciate the two ladies who were running the place during my visit-- they were quick and had great service. There is also a co working space at the back where you can prop up your laptop. No working on the coffee area just at the back. The pastry selection is also decent. Will return here just for the ambience and mood setting. Recommended!

The interior is impressive, but the seats and tables are much less comfortable than what you’d find at McDonald’s. The staff often come across as arrogant and visibly annoyed with customers. Unfortunately, my dinner here today was a complete disappointment. I was served poorly made pasta with dry, inedible chicken, which later caused digestive issues. On top of that, when I asked for a hot matcha, I received a lukewarm drink instead 😑

This art and crafts market in Yerevan offers you a wide selection of souvenirs, silver jewelry, pottery, wooden items and so much more. Loved and purchased a lot of handmade products by small scale businesses mostly run by women. Had a fun time shopping here on the last day of our trip.

I was impressed how large the market was and how professional the stalls are. A diverse range of local and traditional jewelry, clothing, wooden carvings, paintings, pottery and more . Nice to browse to see cultural aspects and a great place to buy souvenirs or gifts.

A wonderful hotel that looks like a black castle with an old blue dome. The cleanliness is excellent and the service is outstanding. There was a woman at the reception named Bella — incredibly beautiful, kind, and cheerful ❤️. The room was a large suite with a jacuzzi and breakfast served in the room in the morning. A very enjoyable stay that I will definitely repeat.

Amazing market!! Colorful, everything is handmade by local people. You can wander around for hours, it’s so vibrant. You can even bargain with the sellers about the prices. I really enjoyed it!

This is a must visit place in Yerevan as tourist. Amazing local products specially the silver jewelry, different local stones & woolen ware. You can definitely bargain here. What is surprising is some of the Art collection you get to see here.

One of the best markets in Yerevan, you can find all sort of local, authentic, organic, hand made items from souvenirs to clothing to accessories , jewellery, pottery and more. A must visit and highly recommended.

Nice market where you can have astroll, get souvenirs and take some photos. Beautiful silver jewelery with natural stones, handicrafts, embroideries, carpets, wooden ornaments and chess boxes. It closes around 5:30 to 6 p.m.

I came here today for the first time to study and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is perfect for focusing, the food and coffee were delicious, and the service was amazing. Definitely one of my new favorite spots, I’ll be coming back often!

I had a cappuccino and eggs benedict with smoked trout. The overall impression was below average, the cappuccino was hot, almost burnt, with poorly whipped foam. The eggs had a bland taste, as you can see from the photo they were overcooked, there was absolutely no liquid yolk. The hollandaise sauce was bland, without any distinct taste - it should be sour. Overall, they really have a lot to improve here, I wouldn't have it again.

Had breakfast at Crumbs Yerevan today, and everything was so good! The service was really great—everyone was friendly and always had a smile. The atmosphere was just right, and the food portions were huge! Highly recommend!

The atmosphere is really cosy and they're sticking to the highest standards in terms of service. The food as well as the wine were great and the actual dishes were exactly as portrayed in the menu. The only thing that was a bit of a disappointment was that since the menu was so big, they were out of stock on some things (for example pork ribs and beef tongue) on that particular day.

Meals were really good and tasty I highly recommend her eggplant salad very balanced, tasty and unique Their passion fruit juice is really good. The main dish was very good and the meat was cooked very well. Service was excellent and professional. They have two types of kids area clean and have nice variety.

The food was one of the best foods we had in Armenia, cocktails were very interesting as well. The service was good, most of the staff cant speak English but they figure out a way to communicate with u. We wanted to sit in the open are but unfortunately they didn’t had the heaters available so the open area was not available. Closed area is a little underwhelming. But the food made up for it.

Great place with an amazing atmosphere. While you can find better food elsewhere, the atmosphere and friendly staff here are unmatched. If the food quality was stepped up just a bit, this could easily be the best place in the city.

Overall a decent place with good kitchen. It's right next to the Hrazdan river, so if you want to "be" in the countryside without leaving Yerevan, you can definitely consider it. That said I believe it makes more sense to visit this place during the warmer months, since there's also a spacious balcony there which must feel lovely in spring or summer. Food was quite good especially for the price, however nothing extraordinary. Hummus and aubergine rolls were my favorites. The service was great: both fast and polite. We paid around 73$, which I think isn't bad for what you get.

First, what are they doing right? Really nice atmosphere. This is a big deal and they nailed it. With pristine white tablecloths, soft jazz, and noticably clean windows are all pleasentries that allow one to spend a leisure couple hours without their head starting to spin. The place is experimental by local standards but service was knowledgeable and helpful. Maybe I got lucky, but my dish was exquisite in both flavor and presentation. Absolutely what I want to find when I trust someone to cook me a meal! Not let down. There are always areas of improvement. A few would be the piece of hair in the salad. It happens. The temperature of my dish was underwhelming. A heated plate would have greatly helped. My wife's meal was reportedly good, but oddly the ingredient advertised as its signature feature was barely discernable. Access to wait staff was a bit sparse particularly considering the small number of costumers but that can be good news for those who prefer not to be doted over. Stepping off the beaten path and mixing things up is a noted risk in a place with a developing food scene but this time I'm glad we took the risk. Gouroo did not disappoint. A GOOD place in Yerevan that I hope sticks around! Oh yes, and they bend over backwards to keep it healthy for you. A great bonus.

Such a good place, you can’t quite tell from the menu, but everything is even better than I expected. It is made with love and care, and the garden in the back is a great place to hang out. Very comfortable space, very friendly service. One salad and one main was enough for the two of us.

Many people mention very long wait time but for us it was very quick service: all the dishes came after 10-15 minutes wait, even the main dishes. But the food was very average. Nothing special for a pretty special price :) the view and garden is nice but the food is not worth it.

Design: wonderful, atmosphere really cozy, but terribly slow service, there is so many waiters but no one comes to serve you, no menu, I am a foodlover and ready to give any price for good food but here price is unfairly high. Will check here again after month.

Came here at noon. It took like 15 mins till the waitress came across us and took our order, after serving the order we barely saw the waitress again, the venue was empty, and yet they were lagging on serving us. After we managed to pay our bill after calling the waitress for like 3 times, we checked the rest of place and saw that the entire crew were having a group lunch inside the venue!!! Very unprofessional for such an “upscale” place as they market it for. The prices were California prices and quality is not impressive. The outdoors chairs are very uncomfortable and tasteless.

Lovely place! A great view of the mountain if you have a really really clear day - I went thinking the day looked clear but the mountain was just barely visible I ordered the rezhan (cream that is not yet butter) which was pleasant and as expected! and the fish platter, which wasn’t my cup of tea - the fish are very salty that it overpowers any flavor. On the house was what I think is strained matsoon! Delish. Service was Stellar, though I did get the look up and down in my casual baseball cap and sandals outfit.

The service was terrible, and the food was the most tasteless I’ve ever had. The eggplant, which the waiter said was really delicious, turned out to be flavorless and awful. a huge disappointment. On top of that, the place was extremely overpriced for what they offer.

Quiet, low-key, and classy restaurant with a variety of excellent dishes. I highly recommend the spinach ravioli and the lamb plate. There are some interesting salads, too, like the one with beets. Reasonably priced for the quality and taste.

Nice service and interior! Tasty food! Dragon Steak with spicy tomato sous was just great!!! After we had our meal chief cook came and asked if we've enjoyed everything. We were very pleased!!!!

Delightful Italian restaurant where we enjoyed an excellent family meal. The crostini with smoked salmon & cream cheese were excellent as was the broccoli salad but the burrata salad was really top class. We shared the starters and they were generous in size. We had mains of lasagne, seafood tagliatelle and some of us had steak. Everyone who had the steak pronounced it top class and, for Yerevan, it was quite a reasonable price. Desserts of tiramisu and other delights did not disappoint ! Service was swift, warm and friendly. All in all I would recommend this restaurant for a memorable family get together or indeed a solo diner or couple who want to eat well at a reasonable price.

We were looking for comfort food, and for us Italian is comfort. Ankyun’s food is outstanding; I had the Spaghetti Pinoli (pine nuts and lemon) and my wife had the Penne Carbonara. Both were delicious, fresh and handmade. For desert we shared the hazelnut torte, also handmade. The service was excellent, and the wine list offered numerous choices, and we shared a bottle of Hin Areni dry red wine that paired perfectly with our meals. I have to give Ankyun my highest recommendation.

I am going to list all the dishes that I find awesome: beetroot salad, taragon and grape salad (uva e estragone), broccoli salad, lamb and red bean as a main, pizzas are pretty good as well.

Typical Indian restaurant. Mostly north Indian food. Taste is great and pure Indian style. A problem that needs serious rectification is the staff attitude. The bathrooms also need work. Otherwise great place to try Indian food or to get rid of your homesickness if your Indian.

The worst place ever, food was old and cold. I ordered chicken shawarma and French fries it's was not cooked and semi still frozen and they gave be half a small box. After 2 bite of shawarma sandwiche I had to throw it away there was smells coming out of it. Please don't waste your time and money in that place. There not even close to Lebanon cuisine. There just using the Lebanon name to lure people in there shop. Beware of the scam. I wish I can give then ZERO. I read the reviews but I said it can't be that bad let me give a try. Yes people read the reviews and follow them.

I’ve been a fan of this place since 2010 - one of the greatest places for a hungry student to get a hearty, tasty lunch. 15 years later, still visiting whenever I’m in Yerevan and it doesn’t disappoint.

As a Lebanese, this was the worst shawarma ever. It didnt even taste like shawarma. I asked for a non spicy falafel bowl, came as a sandwich full of spice.

The hotel is 20 minutes walk to Republic Square, a prominent and lively place. The staff is courteous and helpful. Food is decent - bread, eggs, butter, jams, tea and coffee. Salad was made available for vegetarians. Room is small although equipped with cupboard, locker and plenty of sunlight. The rattling train from early morning to midnight is a challenge. A counter at the washbasin would help and that was a minus. The staff refilled mint lemon water at the reception and that was pleasant. We enjoyed the detox water all through.

We have recently visited this hotel & stayed there for 4 nights. Location is awesome. Room service daily even though you don’t ask that’s also awesome, What we were disappointed is charges of water bottle they take. When we arrived there was 1 water bottle in our room for that they charged 400 dram. We were not knowing that water is charged. We ordered 2 more small water bottle which they charged 1300 dram which is crazy. In supermarket water bottle costs 220 dram for big bottles. It’s like looting tourists. Second breakfast, for Veg only option is bread, butter, fruits & salads & cold & hot beverages. They didn’t bothered to prepare any 1 hot breakfast for us or ask us what we can eat. If you are going to stay in this hotel pls carry your own water bottle. They will charge crazy otherwise.

We visited Yerevan and lived in Hotel Cascade for 3 nights. To start with the location is perfect, right next to Cascade complex and close to city center. However there were some major issues with the service in the hotel. Firstly they did not give a single bottle of complementary water, when we asked for one for which we were ready to pay they directly denied saying we don’t have any water in our hotel. Secondly, not sure how but whenever a metro passes the entire room starts to vibrate ( I think the metro line goes directly below their hotel). Last, and this was from our mistake but the price we paid for the mistake was just too much. We by mistakely broke a glass which was a very Normal glass nothing fancy and they charged us 3000 dram for it which was too much considering it was a very basic normal glass kept in the bathroom. The morning breakfast staff was generous and considerate. All in all they really need to work on their service or they might lack guests considering there are other places to stay near town centre.
