The food was delicious, the view was amazing, the staff were very friendly, and the pool was great. Perfect place to spend the whole day. I would definitely come back next time I visit Bali.

Food was slightly above average, and unfortunately, several items we wanted to try weren’t available. When we tried ordering alternatives, some of those were also unavailable. Service was a bit slow as well. Nevertheless, the atmosphere is great and the vibes are perfect for hanging out with friends over some drinks.

Went here on our 1st day and came back again the next day. Good for lounging. Walking distance from our place in Kuta. Could easily spend a whole day here. Good sunset views too. Staff are friendly and warm. Food and drinks are great. Reasonably priced too!

EDIT: i recently posted a 5 star review for this location however after my poor experience today i have decided to edit my review. my mum and i are staying at the connected resort (mandira). we have been here for a week and used the pool most days. today i was told that i wasn’t allowed to sit there unless i wanted to buy a cocktail. i knew there was a min spend for the booths but there were no signs on the lounge chairs. we have been here for 7 days and no one had informed us. i explained this to the server and he became annoyed and told me to ask anyone else who was there today and they all knew they had to pay. over the next 10 mins he came up to me multiple times telling me to order. when i asked the front desk they said that shouldn’t have happened and the min spend is only for out of house guests (which makes sense). the service today was so poor. we should not have to pay to use a pool at our own resort. so sad after such positive experiences all week. highly recommend!! we were swimming in the (gorgeous) pool when heavy rain hit. we were offered a seat inside to watch the rain over the ocean. a lovely man (i’m assuming maybe the owner) was eating food but paused to come give us umbrellas and fresh warm towels to warm up. while the kitchen wasn’t open yet, we ordered smoothies which were delicious. all of the staff were so sweet and the views were spectacular!!

Just had lunch here on our last day! Wish I had found this place sooner! Food was great, generous servings and excellent presentation! Even came out with a complimentary dessert and singing happy birthday for our daughter’s birthday. It’s the small things that make a place great! Great cocktails too!

Absolutely gorgeous spot for a cheeky sunset dinner date. With a 2 for 1 on particular beers wines and cocktails, shisha pipe by the pool, amazing atmosphere and service, delishous food and your choice of chilling in the pool or spa? What more can you ask for 😁👌 highly recommended!!

The best food we had so far! The place looked beautiful and it was really comfortable and relaxed. The only thing we didn’t quite like was the pool, the water seemed dirty. We also saw people smoking, eating and drinking in the pool. What may have caused this. Staff is extremely friendly.

Wow… really a 5/5!!! We went in seeing everyone seated outside and was amazed at the quality of food! Staffs were all so friendly and prompt, we were also very lucky to catch the live show (more like seeing a musical!!!) that is only available on Fridays! My daughter just had a blast and it was amazing show and energy! There was also a 1+1 cocktail promotion that I enjoyed for 135k!

We celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday at Romeos Bar, and it was a great choice! The atmosphere was lively yet cozy, the food and drinks were spot-on. My favorite is the chicken steak. A huge shoutout to Bram, he was truly the best! Friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. He went above and beyond to make the evening feel memorable. Thank you, Romeos, for such a great experience, we’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely astounding food and wonderful atmosphere with great pricing. Had to come back a second time on our holiday just to appreciate the good food and live music one more time! Certainly worth a visit. Highly recommend trying the romeos mixed grill.

By far the best food I’ve enjoyed in Bali! I had the Beef Tataki to start, followed by the Grilled Octopus. Both were incredible!

I had an amazing experience at Romeo's! The food was absolutely delicious. The breakfast was fantastic, and I also had dinner there. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the pizza had lots of yummy cheese — so satisfying! The cocktails were top-notch as well. A big shoutout to the staff, particularly Oka, Gathan, and Ari, who were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

We recently booked Mozzarella for a friend’s birthday, and it was such a fantastic experience! They brought out a piece of cake and sang a lovely birthday song to him, it was such a sweet touch and a perfect way to end the night. The food, as always, was amazing. Every dish is consistently delicious, and I always find myself wishing I could try everything on the menu! I can’t help but get food envy each time. A special shout-out to Wian (we we) who really made our night unforgettable. He’s not only outstanding in his service but also incredibly funny, making the entire evening so much more enjoyable. We make sure to visit Mozzarella every time we come to Bali because the experience never disappoints. There are three Mozzarella locations, but the only downside I’d mention is if you’re sitting near the deciding wall, it can get a bit loud from the House of Sports next door. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

Situated on the ground floor of Magani hotel & spa, mozzarella restaurant was on our bucket list since we stayed there. On the night we tried to dine, the live music was too loud for our ears that we had to request for a slot after the live music ended. Hence we made a reservation for 9.30pm. The dining area lacked any ceiling fans and solely relied upon installing coolers near the dining tables upon request. Hence settling up to a place to eat took quite some time and certain challenges in communicating the same with the staff. Once we settled in our tables, the entire dinner order was placed as we were famished. The dishes on the other hand weren't suiting our tastebuds unfortunately. Truffle fries lacked the truffle flavor, pasta ordered had a weird oil taste, the mojito had too little flavor and so on. The meal was unpalatable that we had to request humbly to cancel our order. The chef who then came by, was very sweet. He took our feedback on a positive note and proceeded to cancel the order except for the mojito (can't remember why).I All in all, the service & the chef were very warm and helpful. The menu/the recipe for vegetarian dishes need to be reviewed by them (especially for pasta). Ambience: We saw many who danced and really enjoyed the live music to their hearts content. There could be some corners for people who'd like to dine in a calmer environment though. It could have been better if there installed the usual huge ceiling fans we see in Bali to cool off in the high humid weather.

I had a fantastic lunch at Mozarella Restaurant in Legian, Bali. I ordered the spaghetti Bolognese and a fresh-pressed juice, both of which were absolutely delicious! The spaghetti portion could have been a bit larger, as I enjoyed it so much 🫣 The seating area was comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. When it got a bit warm during lunchtime, they even brought me an extra fan, which I really appreciated. I would definitely return and highly recommend this place!

This place is amazing and I highly recommend. Food is exceptional, tasty & fresh. Staff are some of the nicest I’ve met in Bali in my 8 trips. Entertainment of the drag queens is very fun & memorable.

First, I will say that the food was excellent. However, trying to get the attention of the waiting staff after the initial order was slightly problematic. They seemed more interested in chatting with each other instead of attending to the diners. Lastly, the band. I like to be able to hold a conversation with the other people at my table. This was impossible due to a live band playing when we arrived which didn't stop until the meal was finished. I don't mind a bit of entertainment but after the meal, please.

A great experience at Fat Bowl and will be going back again! We enjoy sharing small plates and this restaurant was great for that. We had the baked scallops and they were delicious, the honey popcorn shrimp, chicken sate and dynamite roll, and finished with the salmon and snow crab dumplings! The wait staff didn't push us to order everything at once and we were able to take our time and relax with cocktails and then some sangria. Good quality and thoroughly enjoyed our night!

We had the Massaman Lamb shank, duck, scallops starter on the shell, and popcorn shrimp. Quite pleased with everything. We went on a Friday night an opted not to sit upstairs because there was karaoke going on. So if you like that, it's there. Downstairs we barely heard it and it was no bother at all, truly.

The food is delicious! Scallops, slow cooked beef curry which was nutty and creamy and so tender. The best brownie I’ve ever had. Service a little slow and music a little loud but would definitely recommend and return!

Absolutely loved our visit to Fat Bowl! The food was incredible — bold flavors, generous portions, and beautifully presented. We tried a few of their signature dishes, and every bite was a hit. The vibe is fun and laid-back, perfect for a casual night out in Legian. Staff were friendly and attentive too. Definitely a must-visit when in Bali — can’t wait to come back!

This is hands down my favourite restaurant in the area. I have eaten here numerous times over my travels to Bali. It's located quite centrally in the area making it very easy to get to. There are tables inside and out. The staff are always welcoming, the food is always fresh, tasty and well priced and there is always a great vibe. One dish I always go to is the ceasar salad, it is hands down something I look forward to when planning a Bali trip. Tonight for a starter, two mains and two drinks it cost roughly $34aud. I will always recommend fat bowl for couple, families, friends and solo's, in other words, everyone.

I dropped into this restaurant inside Padma Resort for a light bite before watching the sunset, and it hit the spot. Having been away from Japan for a while, I really appreciated the authentic, flavorful dishes. Next time, I’m planning to try the teppanyaki. Being part of a well-known resort, this place is a safe bet—you can’t go wrong here.

Tenkai Teppanyaki at Padma resort Legian is a must DO experience. We had Blue as our Chef and he was very entertaining. He liked telling jokes and lessened the tension as we shared a table with another couple that we had never met before. We had 5 members in our family plus the other couple so the table seats 7 people. We all became fast friends and Blue was an excellent chef. The foods we ate were all delicious and next level the best. Hari was our waiter and he was very friendly too and joined in with all the jokes. Hari was also attentive to everyone's needs making sure our plates were taken away when necessary and drinks served and refilled appropriately. We all got to participate in a challenge which was catching egg in your mouth while the chef tosses it at you and we were all in giggles laughing at each other's attempts. We highly rate our experience and the foods were so tender and juicy. Kids had a blast. The restaurant atmosphere was also clean and friendly overall. I will definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Bali. We also did not stay at the hotel. We booked online through the hotel and had to pay a $50 aud deposit. The date we came was Monday the 27th. The other lady who joined us celebrated her birthday that day and the restaurant gave her a free small complimentary birthday cake and sang her a Happy Birthday. So customer service is dedicated and personalised. Please add this experience to your list.

Fantastic teppanyaki - the cook on everything was just right. Medium rare steak was actually served medium rare with a good sear. Squid was very soft and tender, cooked just the right amount. Sauces were excellent too. Also received some fantastic, friendly and attentive service from both Wikan and Wantari.

Teppanyaki experience was wonderful. Very good food, wine, serving and atmosphere. They pay a lot of attention to our needs. Also very interactive. The only bad thing was that was to much food 😂😂😂 i could not eat everything, and i feel bad, because the food was really good. Recomandation: skip lunch! We celebrate my wife birthday.

We booked as we had heard great things about this teppanyaki. We weren't disappointed. The service was awesome. The experience of being interactive with your chef was great and they catered for our food allergies. It isn't cheap, but you are paying for great food and the experience.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday at this Japanese restaurant, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. (Especially Jun and Wintari) They went above and beyond to make the evening special, with warm, attentive service and thoughtful touches throughout. We especially appreciated how accommodating they were with sharing dishes—there was no hesitation, just friendly smiles and seamless service. It made the meal feel relaxed and enjoyable without sacrificing the elegance of the setting. The food was absolutely fantastic—beautifully presented, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. The dessert presentation was a highlight, especially the birthday treat, which was both delicious and memorable. We also had the pleasure of speaking with the chef who attended our table several times and provided insight into the preparation and thought behind the dishes ordered. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making my wife’s birthday so wonderful. We left with full hearts (and stomachs) and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended for any special occasion—or anytime you want an exceptional dining experience.

Our last lunch at Padma was included in my sisters package. A very enjoyable two course meal. We added a couple of juices served to us by the incredible Wantari. Service and food at Padma Resort is second to none.

My highlight was the lokal lot Burger... Excellent. The fish and pulled pork tacos as well as the thick sauced stay were good and quite satisfying. But my recommendation must go to that burger.

Went for lunch & the place was packed. Managed to get a table. Staff were efficient & really friendly. Food came out quick considering how busy it was. Chicken snitzel sandwich was meant to be on a roll but due to the floods deliveries were held up. Still really good on bread. Tuna roll which you choose what you would like on it & finish & chips. Everything was really good.

We had heard great things about this place and it was on point, it was nice for the kids to be able to make a salad roll or salad from a little checklist of items. Salad bar looked really fresh and well presented. I had the half lobster with 2 large king prawns for $39 and it was great, overall absolutely beautiful and well worth checking The Lokal out! 🤤

Headed there for a light dinner. Ordered Potato Skins and Nachos. Had a couple of beers and one cocktail. Price for all this was IRP345.000. Happy with that. Staff were wonderful and the trainees even better. For a Tuesday night the place was going off. Clearly an expat favourite. No complaints. Get amongst it! Even the salt/pepper shakers were from Cole’s 🤣🤣🤣 how patriotic!

Food ok, took nearly 45 mins to come out. The satay sticks were very dry, the corn was ok and the potato skins were nice. Probably the worst satay sticks we had on the trip. However the staff were very professional and the place was quite clean.

First time at Brunch Club Seminyak and I loved it! The food was great — the croissant with scrambled eggs super tasty, the tropical fruit plate was fresh and sweet, and the banoffee pie stack had amazing texture but a bit too sweet for me. Special shout-out to Mitha, our waitress, who made the experience even better. She was so friendly, attentive, and always smiling. She checked on us a few times and made us feel really welcome. Great service like that makes all the difference! Definitely coming back.

A nice place for breather and hangout. I ordered strawberry crumble 'porncake', and it was one of the softest souffle I ever tasted and ate. It has the right amount of sweetness and dash of sour from the strawberry. For the drink, I ordered lychee and lime. It was really refreshing and not too sweet. A perfect combo for the souffle, to me personally. The staffs were friendly too. Will definitely visit this place again

Really good brunch menu items, the food was fantastic. The Porncakes were very different - souffle pancakes with Bacon & Maple were delish. Coffee was also very good. Service was friendly. The only issue we had was we were seated at the bar counter downstairs, where guests are allowed smoke, which is disgusting while you are eating. We re-located our whole meal upstairs, which was much better. We may go back if we can get seats upstairs.

We had a lovely meal here. The place was packed, yet the service was fast and efficient. The garlic shrimp was delicious, and the fried fish with sweet and sour sauce was okay but not particularly flavorful. The chicken in the Penang curry was a bit dry. The pandang chicken was very tasty. It's a large place with plenty of seating.

A nice place the ambiance is good , the staff is friendly as the place got busier its difficult to get their attention. The staff look busy but not sure what they are doing, they should pay more attention to their service area. The portion size is large, and it's good value for the money. The food is ok ,authentic but average, but the serving is faster. They need to do something with the loud music because its too loud and should be cut it down a little bit to be a background, not a concert because people go to restaurants to socialize or have conversations too.

Amazing food!! Literally everything tasted amazing but I highly recommend the tiger beef and mango sticky rice. Best of all, the chicken and beef are all halal!

I came to Lemongrass because after three weeks in Indonesia, I was craving something different. Unfortunately, the restaurant was almost empty when I arrived, which made the atmosphere feel a bit flat. I ordered the Green Curry, which was very flavorful and nicely spiced, with plenty of vegetables (some cut a bit large or long). Overall, it tasted really good. I was a little disappointed that there was no Papaya Salad available, and the Mango Sticky Rice was also sold out because of a large group earlier. I had considered ordering Pad Thai as well, but the price seemed a bit high. In the end, though, I was happy with my main dish and enjoyed the meal.

Our favourite breakfast cafe/restaurant. The food presentation is incredible and taste matches the quality. Dont be put off by the little tables out the front, come on through to air con comfort and beachy deco.

Wow! What a find. Staying across the road & the first morning we wandered to Bella Vista Coffee for breakfast and did so for the next 10 mornings. Coffee spot on. Breakfasts were delicious, lots of fresh ingredients. We also called in during the day for a juice or a smoothie. Do yourself a favour & come here for a meal. You won't be disappointed.

It's a great place for breakfast or lunch. Beautiful coffee, presented very nicely on a wooden tray with biscuits. Staff are very pleasant and welcoming. One of the biggest bonuses for me is the air-conditioning if you want it.

We wish we could show you a picture of our delicious mushroom eggs on toast with 🥚 🍄‍🟫 🍅. However we forgot & we ate it making it last as we enjoyed it. Was so 😋 delicious ! Coffee was perfect too. Lovely staff and cleanliness was a very good standard ❤️✅👍🏼

One of the best smoothie bowl I've ever had in Bali so far!! The place has this calming effect, it might be the lights or the music (they use Balinese music that I love), the fruits are fresh, the coffee always amazing oh and the pancake was brilliant! Will always comeback for the Acai smoothie bowl but definitely wanna try the other meal on the menu, so we'll definitely coming back!

We have had coffee & cake a few times and is usually pretty good, coffee is 40,000 but a shot of coffee over ice with a little milk is 55,000, no ice cream or biscuit not sure why when it’s 35,000 every where else, just check prices, cake was good

Forget the western food and do yourself a favour and try the Balinese and Indonesian specialties. The crispy pork was sublime and the best I’ve eaten since our last visit. It’s accompanied with a spicy soup, urab/vegetables and rice. The sambal mata was also delicious. My Husband had the Beef Rendang, an Indonesian specialty. And accompanied with a delicious sambal, coconut flavoured rice and dressed with fried betal leaves. Absolutely amazing. Service from Andi K was professional and friendly. Seriously, it’s a fabulous experience dining here.

The pork knuckle and aglio e olio were both delicious. The knuckle was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy inside, and the side vegetables were tasty as well. The aglio e olio was a bit on the dry side, but still enjoyable. The fresh coconut was cool and refreshing, and the staff were very friendly. It can feel a bit warm during the day, but overall, it was a great meal.

The other reviews aren’t wrong about the pork knuckle - it was delicious! Though it is big so would suggest you share if you don’t have a big appetite. We shared this along with the monthly special which was a tasting platter of Indonesian food and it was AMAZING! Even better than the pork which was already great.

the foods that i ordered were great! had a full heart and belly just for the unagi and oyster butter. they’re a must! ambience is very old style japanese which i love, great service from the waitress added up the final score to 5 stars in my opinion. Take serves not only appetizing foods, but also cozy japanese vibes. OH! also Take doesn’t take times when it comes to serving foods🫢😂 no pun intended. overall great place to have authentic japanese food. if you’re looking for one, this is a must try!🫶🏻

The pork ramen was incredible! It reminded me of the one I had in Osaka last year — rich broth, tender pork, and perfectly cooked noodles. Definitely one of the best ramen spots in Bali!

One of the authentic Japanese resto in Bali. Came here during brunch time, not too crowded and the ambiance of the restaurant so Japanese Street food style. Tonkatsu Ramen taste rich, creamy, so delicious. Ebi furai maki roll also good and light. Tako okonomiyaki taste good but some part is still wet, I don’t know is that because of the OG okonomiyaki suppose to be like that or what. You can taste a lil bit fishy from the wet part compare with the fully cooked/dry part. Also try the dimsum, the texture is too mushy. We thought its not fully cooked but after they change with the new one with longer steam process the texture still same. So i guess thats already cooked and I dont like the texture. The matcha ice with ogura was good, the syrup a bit too much for my preference. Staff was very helpfull, always smile and this place is not too noisy if you want to have long chat with your friend

Cheap price with cheap taste. Overall the flavour is riding a roller coaster. Nasi Goreng's flavour is too light and another is too salty. Frankly, I never recommend this restaurant. The merit of this restaurant is just one, cheap price.

A hole in the wall restaurant serving authentic local cuisine. I ordered the nasi goreng and it was amazing. They fried the rice to order and it came out piping hot. Great flavour and super delicious. Great place to get your lunch fix at a cheap price.

7 stars! Been eating here for over ten years and the same, wonderful Ibu is still cooking away as she always has. The highlight of every trip to Bali. Nothing bad on the menu but don't just order fried rice and noodles. Nasi Campur includes the best lodeh soup anywhere. I'd recommend this place over any other in Bali if I had to choose just one place to eat. Simple, cheap, authentic and never changing. I love Warung Yogya!

Food is far better than most of expensive restaurants for a fraction of the price. And on top of that you have a chance to experience local made food in a local style restaurant. Highly recommended for all kinds of guests!

This morning I visited this place to eat, suitable for breakfast, lunch with Indonesian menu typical of Java, with various menus such as lontong cap gomay, mixed rice, pecel, rawon, chicken soup. Friendly service and the location is located in the center of tourist crowds of many foreign tourists like Europe stay around this area. Medium food prices and I ate rawon rice for breakfast today.

it's a halal local restaurant located near kuta. they sell east java food, nothing fancy, just delicious daily food. first, you come to the staff, and order whatever suits you. they usually give you rice, and then you can choose the proteins and veggies. i like their fried scrambled egg, stir fried tempe, and kangkong or morning glory. you can ask for sambal or chili paste too. once you order, they will give you the food and a price tag indicating the money you have to pay. but, just sit down, order the drink, and eat your food. once you finish eating, bring the price tag to the cashier and tell them what your drink is to pay the total price. they can speak basic english. for the parking area, it's more suitable for the motorcycle.

My favorite place for local food. I start with a Kopi Susu. Noodles and some sliced green beans for my health. I've eaten here a dozen times in the past few years and I've not gotten ill from the food here. That's why I keep going back. The people are always wonderful to me as I only know English.

This is hands down my favorite spot for local food. I always kick things off with a Kopi Susu, then dive into the noodles with some sliced green beans to balance things out. I’ve been coming here for years — easily a dozen visits — and not once have I had a bad experience or gotten sick from the food. That’s saying a lot! The staff are consistently kind and welcoming, even though I only speak English. They always make me feel comfortable and at home. It’s the kind of place that keeps you coming back great food, good vibes, and genuine people.

Juice guy was still waking up and needed the/more coffee 😜. But the food was delicious, only the background music wasn’t really for the general public.

What an amazing experience we had here. We ordered some lobster and steaks with other different sides and it was as good as it was 2 years ago. I highly recommend this place if you want to try delicious lobster dishes and other amazing meals. We will be back every year.

I absolutely adore coming to Biku for their afternoon high tea. I come here at least once a month to rewind, relax and have a pleasant afternoon treat. Their high tea selection is so comforting and all their drinks, tea or otherwise, are perfect. The atmosphere is super calming and wonderfully decorated as a traditional joglo. I prefer sitting outside and enjoying their always perfectly sunlit outdoor area. Unlike other high tea places, you don't need to make a reservation in advance and you can just show up as and when you feel like which I appreciate since I don't have to make a booking as I usually do.

We had a superb local lunch at this spot. Our family enjoyed great food, a beautiful setting, and very friendly staff, especially Nia and Ulain. The cocktails are awesome, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. This place is definitely a must-visit to experience the genuine Balinese vibe. They also serve other foods, such as delicious sandwiches, a high tea style menu, and vegetarian options.

Such a gorgeous place to enjoy lunch & afternoon tea. The tea menu is wide with so many incredible choices. The afternoon tea is a delicious mix of sweet & savoury & so fresh. One of the reasons I always come to Biku on my visits to Bali as they use serve using Royal Doulton’s Old Country Roses. This was my dear friend Liz’s signature chinaware & coming to Biku always makes me think of her & how much she would have loved it there. The staff are that perfect blend of professional & friendly. The carrot cake is amazing & perfect to take away. The colonial architecture is another bonus.

DISCLAIMER: This review is for the Biku restaurant at Ngurah Rai Airport (since it's not on Gmap yet). Picked this restaurant as it seemed to provide more dishes & varieties in the menu. I was so delighted to find they have garlic butter baramundi, with veggies and rice on the side. I chose to skip the rice and instead ordered french fries. They were PERFECT. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh. Didn't have to wait too long and waiters were attentive (despite the place being a bit crowded). Bonus: and they have scones too!! Will surely try to go back to this resto the next time I visit Bali.

Lovely afternoon tea. Escape to some tranquility away from the constant hooting and screaming engines of the scooters. Biku is an oasis of calm where you can relax and have a quiet traditional afternoon tea. Very good value for money, in fact there was nearly too much!

The staff at Fat chow are incredible. This was our second visit to the restaurant and loved it. The food came quick and was the best we had from our time in Kuta. The restaurant was busy and we didn’t pre book. But within 5 minutes the staff seated us and took our order. Highly recommended.

We are from Thailand and we are quite fussy with Thai food but this place smashed it!! Amazing seafood fried rice which reminded me of Thai street food with the fried wok smell. The foods was alright nothing special. The chocolate brownies smoothie is too small portion. The nasi campur taste normal not too special and portions consider small. But the presentation was nice.

I absolutely loved this little spot and would totally recommend it! It's such a lovely, relaxing place right in the middle of busy street. The local Balinese food is cooked really well and looks super fancy on the plate. Plus, they've got happy hour cocktails and snacks! The staff are really nice too. PS - the pork satay was a tad chewy, but still tasted really good! Recommend you try everything that we ordered especially the tomato soup!

What a delightful find Poppies Restaurant was! Set amongst beautiful gardens and pond such a lovely quiet atmosphere away from the noise of the streets. Had been told to try the Pina Coladas which come in a mocktail choice and they were delicious. The Nasi Goreng was also very good. Definitely worth a visit. And they provide mosquito spray too.

Did you even go to Bali if you didn't visit Poppies? This restaurant is a true authentic Balinese dining experience. The hanging gardens and surrounding ponds provide a beautiful ambience. The service is perfect, not over the top but still attentive and very friendly - even providing bug spray, and cold towels after dinner. The food is divine, and also provides a great wine list. I'm not sure why anyone would give a bad review of this place. Best dinner in Bali, every time we visit.

We have returned to Bali after 30 years to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The restaurant does not seem to have changed one bit. Idilic garden setting with the best satay sauce in all of Bali IMHO. The Tom Yum Gai and the Lumpia are super tasty. Highly recommended. And only 6 hour flight from Melbourne for a dinner and weekend stay.👍

We had dinner here when we were staying at Poppies Cottage across the street. Unfortunately the food was nothing special, it was average. But the atmosphere and the staff were a great experience. It is set in a lovely garden surrounded by a small lake, flowers and plants, which attracts lots of mosquitoes. The staff provide mosquito spray. Poppies restaurant is one of the oldest restaurants in Kuta and it’s worth a visit if you are in Kuta. Service tak is added here.

For an overthinker like me, I love how they provide a half/half menu. I ordered half nasi campur and half gado-gado, and it was good! The place was spacious, the decoration/architecture was nice. The price range was good, I mean there were some food at lower price range, and some at higher ones while all are within good range. Plus point: there's prayer room/musholla at the parking lot, and it's quite proper and clean. thank you

I experienced here after a 4 hrs Spa. Very vibrant and decent atmosphere with very friendly staff. I experienced Pasta with meat sauce alongside with Vietnam Roll as starter. For dessert I had a Coffee Late with Indonesian pancake which was yummy😍

Such a good ice cream shop with a crazy amount of flavours and massive outdoor area to sit in. Friendly staff and you are able to taste flavours before buying. I went for the banana choc + snickers. 40k for a cone/small cup which is slightly higher than average price. Recommend a stop here if you have a sweet tooth like me :)

Already came here twice and I must say the gelato is not too sugary and so creamy. So many variations to choose from which is unique to make me come back wanting to try more flavors. One of the best gelato I have tried so far and the staffs are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about that ice cream pair are the best!

Several flavours are available here!! You must first pay at the counter and bring the reciept to the gelato side to choose your flavours. Small entitles you to 2 flavours which is a great thing and they let you try as well if you have doubts about which flavours to choose from. Delce flavour was abit sweet for me but stolll really good and snickers was top notch

I live in the neighbourhood so I come with my husband few times a month for a long time, but today will be my last visit because I had an extremely unpleasant experience. I ordered the caramel flavor and Hokey Pokey which was my go-to, however the caramel was bitter and tasted burnt. I spoke to a staff who didn’t speak English and she referred me the a seemingly more senior staff that does, and he told me “of course it’s bitter it’s salted caramel”. 1)No, salted caramel should not be bitter 2)It is only listed as caramel 3)It’s not my first caramel gelato in Gusto (or anywhere in this world really) and to have the audacity to say how salted caramel should be bitter is just mind blowing. 4)He didn’t even bother checking the taste himself to confirm whether it was normal and just assumed he knows better. I will be taking my business elsewhere and I hope the company sees what lack of training and problem solving skills in staff could cost you.

this place sells gelato. the small cup, which you can order up to two different flavors, costs 40k rupiah. you need to pay it first to the cashier, then you give the receipt to the staff who pick the gelato. they have many flavors of gelato from milk based flavor, chocolate, to the fruit ones. they can give you a sample of the flavor before you decide which one you want to order. personally, i like the dulce di lecce. it uses milk as the base flavor. what i like about this gelato is that it's not too sweet. it's creamy, and not too watery. they have indoor and outdoor areas to dine in.

the one i bought is the small one (40k), 2 flavors. my favorite ones are always chocolate macaroon and mascarpone!

My old time favorite. Never fail me. Always serve with smile and great attitude. Most importantly, all dishes are delicious. We had babi-guling (bbq pork rice), skin was so crispy and meat is full of fragrance. Bebek (duck) rice was also with great taste. Oxtail soup comes with meat that attaches to the tail, it was so tender that easily detached from the bone. Rujak (local fruit salad) is very refreshing, but is too sweet for me. Highly recommend!

The food tastes really Great, almost Excellent. Services are not bad and the vibes for Bali's traditional restaurant are great. The only minus here is the price is too high. But maybe it's in a crowded area. For 1 glass of filtered drink water, got charged for Rp 8000, and so on. Overall this is a Great Restaurant for Tourists to try one of the Best Balinese Food, but not for daily consumptions

Walked from Melasti down to this flippin' gem for the Nasi Campur "special" Was not disappointed. They warn you it's spicy but nothing a white dude who enjoys a curry can't handle. Crunchy veg, tasty curry accompaniments and a sate for a whole 80k. Well worth the walk from Legian.

We went to this restaurant in 2010, 2016 and today 2025. It's the food, location & ambience that makes us come back each time we're in Bali. ❤️ We'll be back again. Highly recommended especially the gado-gado, sate babi (pork skewer), carbonara, bolognese & alpukat. Basically everything is nice. 🤭 P/S: Didn't take a photo when we were there in 2010.

We arrived at this place around 11:40am and it was already quite crowded, with a short queue. The staff took our order and payment first before seating us, which helped streamline the process. Most customers seem to go for the combo set, which includes the restaurant's signature items like crispy pork skin, fried pork belly, and pork liver. However, the portions for each are quite small—just one piece of pork skin, two pieces of pork belly, and one piece of liver, which felt a bit limited. The sauces were a nice addition. The red chili was mild, while the green chili packed more heat and had a great flavour. The fried long bean with pork was a standout dish for me—flavourful and well-cooked—but some of my friends found it too spicy. I wasn’t a fan of the fresh coconut water, as they only serve young coconuts here. It lacked the strong coconut flavour I prefer, and tasted slightly sour and unusual to me. Overall, I can see why this restaurant is popular—the food quality is good, though it didn’t quite blow me away. It’s definitely worth a visit, but it helps to go in with the right expectations.

For authentic Bali food! This is a must try! But try at your own risk! They have flies flying around their displayed food! But none of my friends or myself had any issue. The food is not bad. It’s worth a try. It’s affordable too! Their chilli can be quite spicy so do get some water in case! Don’t get ice in case got Bali belly!

Finally, I tried this famous Babi Guling Pak Malen. As seven stars Google Reviewer I have visited many Babi Guling Restaurant, and I can confirm the taste was good. Ambience deserve 5 stars, i love the sleek modern and clean design, really elevate the Babi Guling Restaurant level into next level - All Babi Guling resto shall follow this to level up this traditional Balinese cuisine. Room for improvement on service (queue) and order-payment management, to be honest I am not a type of queueing for one plate of meal, so may consider add more cashier.

But their staff not really welcome, we was asked for help to save the yakult first at the fridge coz we want to take it later after food, but their not even willing to help us but not really matters. And the price quite affordable, so please take your time to try this best local food.

Wen to Bali past 2 weeks ago Enak!! this restaurant is recommended by the local driver. Is quite poplar among the local and foreigner too. I order their signature dishes. Test good, just the portion is a biz small. Cam and visit on Saturday noon. Can see there was a long queue outside the shop, the staff will serves what you want first in order to make the order faster, need to make payments first before going inside to find a seat. Can see they received many recognized certificates here on the wall.. People here usually will leave after finish dishes...not a place for you to stay long here for chitchat..

One of the most well-known babi guling place located on Sunset Road. For a popular tourist destination, I still consider their price to be friendly. However, although the taste of their food was great, it isn’t really something to write home about, so I wouldn’t go out if my way to eat it if I’m staying far away.

I can say this is the best babi guling in Bali. the crispy pork is so tasty full of spices and full of flavours. I ordered spesial pisah which comes with more pork meats and separate rice and soup. it's fast serving even though the restaurant is so busy. no need to wait long if you are hungry. price is reasonable and actually much cheaper than the other overhyped babi guling. do yourself a favour and eat babi guling here. no need to look for other places

Hidden gem! Absolutely incredible. The moment we walked in we were greeted with polite and friendly staff, a hand wipe to sanitize with and a complimentary shot while we looked over the menu. All of the food was amazing, the Aussie burger was one of the best burgers I've had in my life and the satay was to die for. The frozen cocktails were mountains and the atmosphere was delightful. Highly highly recommend!

Only negative was it took nearly 20 mins to pay up front. I had the Black Bun Burger & Ginger Tea. All good. Burger patties well cooked & juicy. Staff are helpful. Asked several times, ‘Is the food good?’ Waitress poured out a cup of tea for me from the pot.

We first went for Dinner and the food atmosphere was amazing!! We then went back the next morning to try breakfast and it was delicious. So many food options on offer which worked amazing for one of our kids who’s extremely fussy with food. Service was amazing and they remembered us the next morning. Also a small starter drom the whiskey chicken if I remember that correctly, SUPER yummy! We came here for a vegan breakfast and although they don't have many vegan options their smoothie bowls were divine 😋 we also had the avocado on sourdough toast and to veganise it make sure you ask them to not include the feta, pesto and butter on the toast. You can also add extras like hash browns, mushrooms and baked beans. All in all top marks! 🙌

An absolutely wonderful experience. Met at the door by Paul the owner and serviced by his well trained wait staff. Complimentary mixed fruit shooter drink (non alcoholic) to start the evening and wide selection of wines, mixed drinks, beers and cocktails. Wife and I both had the Wagyu Tritip steak and grandson totally enjoyed his Double Trouble burger. Recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone. Will always be a dining destination everytime we are in Bali.

After reading good reviews about this place I decided to visit here to have some authentic Indonesian food. I went to the food counter and asked them what is best I can have? Upon that, the boy and lady started giggling looking at me and I felt like they were making fun of me. I had Nasi Kare special which was amazing in taste with moderate food quantity. I finished my food and went to pay at the counter and again they started giggling at me which I found very weird. In the entire Bali, I have seen people making fun of Indians but at this place it was extreme and not at all acceptable and I am giving 3 stars only because of that bad attitude.

You can choose from the menu or order as many side dishes as you like from the display case (order rice first if necessary). There are about 20-30 types of side dishes in the display case, and everything I chose was delicious. The prices are reasonable. I ordered calamari separately, but it had a thick batter that reminded me of tempura, so it was a disappointment. They are used to serving in English, and although they are not particularly friendly, they are accustomed to serving foreigners. The restaurant is located on a narrow road, and taxis are likely to stop on the road just before it. It is about 100 meters from there. The atmosphere is open-air, clean, and comfortable. The only thing that bothered me was that there were fruit flies in the display case.

Cheap descent food! Matches the name of inexpensive warung. Small place but descent selection and the shrimp I had was tasty and got the price its was amazing. My meal was 70k so definitely worth checking out. On a budget or not it’s worth a try! More @zsoltzsemba

I visited Warung Murah Double Six for dinner and I am glad I came across this place. The food was absolutely yummy, packed with flavour and very very very cheap. I must highlight the kindness, attentiveness and friendliness of the staff, who always made sure everything was alright 🥺 I truly recommend this warung for local tasty food!! 💓

Great food for a good price. It’s priced a little more than in non touristy areas but still living up to the name and the quality and standard is good. I’ve been to this place many times because I like the food and being able to choose from the available dishes, assisted buffet style or ‘warteg’, though you can also order from the menu.

Delicious local dishes, pick what you fancy and pay what you order from the selection of pre-cooked items displayed on the plates or on the bain marie. Prices are reasonable, my plate cost IDR 42k (Beef Rendang, Lodeh, Bakwan Jagung, Tumis Kangkung, Nasi Kuning & Sambal Matah). The other dish with more meat was IDR 62k (Beef Rendang, Tuna Satay, Bakwan Jagung, Tempe Orek, Keripik Singkong Balado, Nasi Kuning & Sambal Matah). Tourist & local approved, definitely will be back.

I went here 2 times. In 5 days. Satay was so good! Affordable price too. One thing im annoyed is this 1 male server when i talk in bahasa he kept replying in english. He understands what i was saying but he keep talking in english.

Thanks to the reviews on Google went here for dinner 2 nights in a row. The food is amazing and very affordable. The flavours of the food is amazing. The staff are lovely they serve you a complimentary bowl of home made chips ( crisps). There are so many things on the menu i want to try so will be returning. Tried yellow chicken curry, honey chicken wings and spring rolls. No photo of the curry.

The famous Nasi goreng with children and other one with vegetables, chicken curry was wow. It looks too many but the quantity is less Plus the give us a free voufor next time

Wow, what an amazing place. We were blown away by the food, atmosphere, and incredible service.😊 I ordered the mahi mahi pesto salad, and it was so tasty. Best pasta I've had for years!! The fish was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was so yummy. We also had a surf n turf. The sauce was delicious. Everything was cooked so well. You have to try the banana fritters. It's a great finish to an amazing meal. 🍌 All the staff and manager are all so lovely! Incredibly helpful and very attentive. 🥰 Thank you all so much!! 🩷🩷

This restaurant was recommended to me by someone who had eaten a steak there, and highly spoke of the great quality of steak he had just had. So went in and ordered a pizza. The pizza took quite a while to come out presuming that the dough needs to be made hence the wait. Anyhow the pizza arrived after about 30 minutes and I was the only customer that ordered food amd it was already around 9.00pm. The topping was hot but the pizza base was still a bit cold. My thoughts were straight away, I bet the pizza bases are frozen. I called over the waiter and complained about the pizza dough and he confirmed the the dough are frozen.. This is a Italian restaurant, I would never eat there again and am also concerned about some of the other food served in the restaurant.

I have been coming to Bali for many years and this is one of the best nasi gorengs. My partner thought the same of the sate!. So cheap, but doesn't lack in service and flavour. Good old fashioned Balinese service with genuine friendly staff. The food was authentic but fresh and quality. Fantastic will definitely be back every time we come to Bali!

Visited them yesterday, I found them on the maps and read some reviews in advance. In my opinion, their coffee was okay, but haven't tried their food. The price is very reasonable. The cappuccino is IDR 30K. They provide the Revolver coffee beans and some of their own merchandises. The staff there are friendly and helpful. Close to Double Six Beach (350 m away), surprisingly they have a parking space for 2 cars and many bikes. They divide they seating area to 3 spaces. One for smokers and two for non smokers. The smoking area isn't bad, but it's not that comfortable either. The wifi was good enough for me to get my work done. Overall, it was good and I gave 4 star only because the coffee wasn't strong enough for me.

YES!! This spot is very good. Great coffee, good food (breakfast on this occasion)and just to spoil us fat Aussies more, they put on hot crossed buns over Easter. There are three areas to sit in, each with a great vibe. A high recommendation from me.

In a nutshell, I think Sacred Ground is wonderful and would definitely recommend it. Priced very fairly, and I love the different spaces they have along the alley and the island-vibe-meets-hipster shabby-chic spot on. It's cosy, cool, friendly and the service is brill. I had the cauliflower salad, grilled corn and popcorn chicken. Then to take away I had the fattoush salad (average, found it too balsamicy and wet) and the Unti (yummm) to take away. Most dishes were great and packed with flavour. The cauliflower salad was so well balanced and flavours were excellent that I snooped at the menu again to double check the contents. The reason I didn't give Sacred Ground 5 stars is because there are a few areas they fell short. The walnuts in the salad were nearly all burnt which was a shame but still delicious without them. The grilled corn 'with miso butter' tasted just like a very bland average butter and overall didn't have any seasoning or the same punch as the other dishes.

Had a lamb bagel, Bali Kopi & a couple other bits and pieces for breakfast. Average food and you're paying Australian prices for it. Seems to be popular with the Aussie crowd in Bali. Nice setup, and great place to kick back and relax.

Very tasty high quality western food. Burgers, salads, pasta, bagels, steaks, some Indonesian dishes etc. Mid to high price for most dishes, similar to other touristy cafes. Really great coffee. OK place to work but the entire place is outdoors so no aircon and very minimal seating with plugs. Nice atmosphere.

Our travel agency managed this local satay meal for us. Not a big restaurant, yet it’s enough for people who want to enjoy food. They offer different meat, just tell them.

Very delicious sate. Price is reasonable. Meat is lean and well marinated. The ambiance is good. There is a choice of air-con and non air-con seats. The mixed sate come with two choices of typical Sate sauce (kecap manis with shallots and peanut sauce) if come with a small dish of pickles as well. The meat itself is non spicy and if u like a bit of spiciness they do provide chilli) Take the longtong (a type of rice dish) it goes well with the sate. .

Their chicken meatballs and noodle soup weren't bad, also satay lilit chicken. In my opinion their satay lilit was already flavorful and didn't need to dip it in the peanut sauce. Their satay is undoubtly delicious! Size is a bit smaller than "normal" sized satay but they taste good. Their rice cake or lontong are also taste nice and soft textured. Nicw addition to the already delicious satay. But the down side is their drinks. I ordered tea tarik and it taste really plain. No hints of tea and very light milk flavour. Too bad.

The food was 10/10. We had the steak medallion and the rendang with the buffet. Steak was cooked to perfection and everything at the buffet was delicious. As always the service at the Padma is amazing. In particular our waiter Panji was such a lovely person and was really helpful with any questions we had and was very welcoming.

Donbiu at Padma resort in Legian Asian Buffet night on Friday the 31st of October was a beautiful dining experience. As you walk in everything is setup so beautifully. As we walked through we were briefly shown what foods were available to eat that evening. There was a huge variety of Asian dishes from Indian to Japanese to Singapore dishes and I am sure other countries in between. The tables are big a decent sized so you will not feel squished when taking a seat. Everything is arranged so the foods are easily accessible. There is also a variety of desserts suah as cakes even fruit salad. You can start dining at 6pm and then they have their first cultural dance at 6:45pm. Which was a fire dance. Then the next dance is roughly around 10-15 mins after which gives the dancers time to change their costumes. The second dance was a ribbon dance from China. Then the third dance was a traditional Balinese Dance. At the end of the dance they invite guests to come along and join in on Balinese dancing. Then at the end of dancing they invite guests to take photos together with the dancers. Our server was Bayu and he was very attentive checking in on us asking if the foods were all good and if there was anything else we needed. He also became very friendly with our 4 yo son and joined in friendly conversations with him. We are a family of 5 so the variety was a good selection for each of our family members.

The most EPIC buffet ever. Imagine you walk into a small village and there are food stalls everywhere serving top quality local foods. That is exactly what you get here. You can sample pretty much everything Indonesia and Bali has to offer and when you find something you like just eat as much as you can. Expensive maybe, but stay away from the drinks menu and you can easily justify the cost. Great atmosphere in a top class resort. 10/10 must do the evening buffet.

Great buffet breakfast with a lot of different options. Worth checking out for sure. Staff are lovely and quick to clean tables and bring drinks. Only sad part is no soft drinks as part of the buffet. 😅 Will have to come back to try their dinner buffets too at some point.

We had Surf & Turf night and Italian night at the Padma hotel. Fanny was our waiter, he was very well spoken English and a really nice, humorous guy! He was always making sure we were catered to whenever we needed anything and very reassuring. Great person to chat to. We had to tip Fanny And Herry before we left! They really stood out to us and consider them now lifelong friends! We will be back at the Padma hotel 100%.

After reading the reviews and noticed most were 5 stars, I got excited and really wanted to love this restaurant. Sadly enough, the mixed meats plate was a huge disappointment. It was so salty and greasy! The pork was very salty and dry. Lentil salad was good. Yellow rice side dish was so dry and disappointing. The service, atmosphere, and prices are good. But, what good is that if the food is not good?

food was very good. all dishes were tasty with large portions and good prices. the service was quite slow but it may be because they were waiting to bring each subsequent dish after the previous was finished, like apps to entrees. still, it was an hour experience. plenty of parking. located in good location that’s walkable from surrounding areas. good decor. recommended. would be 4 star is food came out all together.

Highly recommended for breakfast, lunch and dinner. With a large parking area, the place is really cozy with a Greek-style interior that is neatly arranged and clean and has many charming photography corners for those who like photography. They provide a wide variety of mediterranean food and drinks too. Pretty good service. I can say this is the cheapest Greek restaurant with good quality overall. Come and enjoy all the dishes!

Food and ambience were great BUT a staff named Gede (the one who made juice) was NOT POLITE at all. We were asking to re-make the juice since it was so watery, he brought us the juice with arrogance and even after asking him if he’s alright and to check if something’s wrong, he told us that he’s no time since he’s busy. We hope management team can look into this so that regular customers can keep coming back.

Unfortunately I had a underwhelming dinner here. Nasi Campur was just fried food and the beef rendang on the plate was basically 3 pieces of thin BBQ meat. It was 130k and was just horrible. I've not been enticed to eat here but the reviews looked good so I thought I should try it. Wouldn't go back. Maybe I picked the wrong meal

We got pizza (wad good), fries (alright, very small pieces though), guacamole with chips (it was too salty, half of the chips were broken to crumbles). Also had fresh juice for 40k which is a lot, usual price is 25k.

Happy hour 5 - 6pm , get here early to grab a seat on the comfy cushions under the big shady tree. Great place to watch all the goings on over Legian beach , tasty cocktails and icy cold beer straight out of the cooler .

A nice place for lounging in front of the beach and healthy juices/milkshakes with (sometimes) even good music to accompany you. They had a very interesting variety of juices and ingredients. I am missing a more "lay back" optional seating otherwise it would've been a 5* (and maybe better views).

Great hidden little place I discovered whilst walking along the beach past the local hotels - amazing at night with the fairy lights and cocktails served whilst listening to tunes sitting on bean bags and cushions by the seaside! I enjoyed their Chia-muesli-berry-smoothie shake concoction very much. They also supply bug - repellent in case the sea breeze doesn't keep away enough of the mozzies.

The location is everything! The staff were very friendly (they literally make you feel like you’ve been friends forever) unfortunately I didn’t like the juice I ordered, I had higher expectations.

We had an amazing dining experience with Craved during our stay in Bali. There’s a lot of food option and we really enjoyed our order. Price range is also cheap considering that the quality of their food is top tier. Customer service is also excellent. Will definitely go back again.

The food is delicious, the photobook with all the food is super helpful, got me tempted to order multiple items (which I did!) Took a table next to the outdoors, which might explain why there was a fly flying around maybe.

In terms of quality and price, it’s definitely the best place in the area. I’ve come here three times for dinner and twice for breakfast, and besides the excellent service, the food is amazing. They have everything, and the products are top quality.

Purchased their Romantic Dinner by Poolside at Fave apps, and I never regret it. Food are delicious and large portion, so absolutely value for money. Staff are fantastic! Junior and Senior doing their great job by giving an excellent service. The ambience not really romantic, but set up at 2nd floor would be fine.

Long term resident of Bali and I think the service in this restaurant is the worst I have seen. It isn’t the staff’s fault I don’t think, I don’t think it is managed properly - see later in post. We arrived and downstairs was very empty. We wanted to go upstairs for open air and views. There was one couple up there. We ordered drinks and they arrived 20 minutes after ordering. Fine, they must be busy but there was no one in the restaurant except the couple who had drinks already. Had to go downstairs to see where the drinks were as we couldn’t understand why they took so long. Food finally arrived 50 minutes after we arrived (we ordered food and drinks upon arrival). Our toddler’s food took ten minutes longer than the rest of the family (family of four). So sixty minutes in total, it was just spaghetti. When asked why it took so long, we were told it’s ‘busy’ downstairs. 100% not busy, there is no one downstairs. And the couple upstairs left. Seriously bad service. The food - I ordered ribs and there was dismal meat on them. My daughter only ate the fries from her meal as the toastie was like rubber. Nasi goreng for the husband was okay though. Toddler didn’t eat his spaghetti. The atmosphere gets a huge rating because we had the restaurant to ourselves. Literally - beachfront. People pay big bucks for a private beachfront event and we got that with the empty restaurant to ourselves. Last note is the local wine cost $11AUD per glass!!!! Just no. Whoever owns and manages this place, it has HUGE potential but you aren’t doing anything about it at the moment. We eat out every night and unfortunately will not be back. We are not surprised this place is empty to be honest when restaurants on either side of it are packed. Such a shame because it’s such a beautiful looking place - we live local so we always support local and wanted to try this place out, but we’re left very dissapointed. The poor staff tried to offer free icecream to say sorry for the delay but at that point we were ready to leave. This place could be amazing if whoever is managing it was doing their job properly.

Bande Nere Pizza & Brunch is a great spot for a delicious and authentic pizza experience. The pizza dough tasted just like the ones we had in Italy—crispy, airy, and full of flavor. The staff were warm and welcoming, especially Ayu, who made our visit even more enjoyable. Prices were reasonable, and it’s a kid-friendly place, with coloring pages to keep little ones entertained while waiting for food. Highly recommend for a casual and tasty meal!

Great burgers – but the smoking ruined the vibe The burgers were really good – juicy, flavourful, and the size was just right. Not too big, not too small. Everything looked clean and the buns were toasted perfectly. I also liked the option to get fries or onion rings, and the Coca-Cola came ice cold. A proper burger bar, the way it should be. But unfortunately, the experience was kind of spoiled by the location. The restaurant is right next to the main road, and while we were eating, a few people sat down and started smoking – even though there were clear “no smoking” signs everywhere. It seemed like they had permission from the staff, but honestly, sitting halfway indoors while people are smoking just ruins the atmosphere. It felt dirty and wrong, especially when you’re trying to enjoy your food. If you don’t mind the smell of smoke, this place might be perfect. Amazing sitting in front of the beach. The vibe is really nice. They put music and they have a large set of menu. They also propose really tasty smoothies I tried 4 of them they are all good. Only thing missing would be Grilled fresh fish or meat maybe but I've liked the place and came 3 times

Kanoa Cafe is easily one of the best spots on the beach! We were thoroughly impressed with our entire experience. First of all, the food is absolutely delicious. They offer a great and varied menu with plenty of options for food and drinks. The service was also wonderful—friendly, quick, and attentive. A huge plus is that they have their own clean and well-maintained restroom, which is a rarity and so convenient for a beach day. We loved that you can rent a sunbed right in front of the cafe. It's the perfect way to spend the day: relaxing on the beach and having amazing food and drinks just steps away. Highly recommend this place! We will definitely be back.

We love this place. Every time we come to Bali we visit multiple times. One of our favourite restaurants along the waterfront. The food is always fantastic, the staff are welcoming and provide a wonderful service.

Good place to spend a day on the beach in the area or watch sunset. Plenty of sunbeds with minimum spend 500k or bean bags for 150k minimum. More expensive than other places around but also more comfortable. Music could be a little quieter but nothing too annoying.

Love this spot. The mocktails are super refreshing and the chicken parmigiana is so good with big portions too. You can sit by the pavement with no minimum spend, on the loungers (min spend 500k), or just chill on the beanbags (min spend 300k). I usually come here when I want to escape the crowded, not-so-nice beaches in Canggu. The beach here is cleaner, quieter, and the whole vibe is just more laid-back. Good food, also the most expensive on the street. Only offer small beers but charge liter price. Was recommended the lasagna and was good flavor and portion size. Presentation can be a little off. One plate will look immaculate the other one looks like they tossed on. Right next to the road. Constantly hear horns and motorbikes hard to hear conversations. Party buses come by every 15 minutes. *Be aware 11% service charge automatically added to the bill. If you use your credit card it's another 10%.

The vongole here can be a bit inconsistent. The first time I tried it, it was amazing. It was full of rich, briny, garlicky flavours, and the spaghetti was perfectly al dente. It was so good that I went back just two days later and was the very first customer for lunch service. Unfortunately, the spaghetti that day was almost leaning toward mushy, which was a bit disappointing. I would recommend trying it during dinner service, as that’s when I first had the perfect plate. Nevertheless, I will definitely try it again when I am back in Bali.

An Italian restaurant in downtown Legian with prices a bit above Bali but significantly lower than Australia. What I liked: The food was special melt in your mouth The service was excellent The decor was very Italian The wait time was acceptable The complimentary lemon cello at the end. What I liked less: Was a bit crowded Was a bit noisy (but not too bad) The very heavy chairs became a bit uncomfortable after an hour or so. There was a restaurant section and what looked like a pizza cafe. Both were well represented. The food was EXCELLENT. Some of the best Italian cuisine I have tasted.

We had a delicious feed tonight at Bella, food was top quality. The Choc lava cake oozed. Our server Jensi was very polite young man, a great knowledge of the menu.

We had a wonderful experience. I'm gluten intolerant but I was spoilt for choice. Once we ordered the gluten free food the staff quickly notified us that the complimentary crackers weren't gluten free. We had assumed that so my wife was eating them but it was great to see that the staff were quick to address it and multiple servers mentioned it when they saw the basket while delivering our gluten free food. Food was also delicious and would recommend!

I got the Carbonara Pasta with Linguine which was really delicious - really creamy & appreciated the freshly cracked pepper & Parmesan cheese put on top by the server. I also got the Margherita pizza- nothing to write home about but it was good, especially in the middle of Bali & with wood fire style oven. The Creme brûlée was also delicious. Overall I would get everything again & will be back one day to do so! Service was incredible- each one of the staff was attentive & friendly. Music was also really nice, I sat outside which was quite noisy but to be expected on a busy Saturday night - there is lots of seating inside as well if you would prefer a quiet atmosphere.

I had one of the best carbonaras I've ever tasted at Bella Italia Legian—so good, it even surpassed some of the ones I’ve had in Rome. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce rich and creamy without being heavy, and the balance of flavors was spot on. It’s clear they use quality ingredients and know how to treat them with care. If you're a fan of authentic Italian cuisine, especially carbonara, this place is a must-visit in Legian.

My absolute favourite! The staff are wonderful, they helped me with my Balinese pronunciation 😁 Food is incredible and prices are fantastic! (Cash only venue). Definitely try the whole fish with Balinese sauce, out of this world! Water spinach was a favourite of mine too, and I’ve never had better tofu, tempeh and eggplant! Refreshing juices and cold beer as well! It’s a lovely atmosphere with a family of extremely cute kitty cats. Thank you so much 🙏🏻 Will be a go to spot for me whenever I am in Legian

We went with fried chicken with chilli sauce, whole fish with Balinese sauce, steamed rice, french fries and also added a large serve of seafood nasi goreng. Amazing, very happy. Will be back. Guess this place is overrated… do not recommend.

This place took a minute to find as it’s down a little alley. We snagged a table and were grateful we were able to sit easily. The restaurant was soon full. We ordered a couple chicken dishes, migoreng, and an appetizer w tofu, tempe, and eggplant. The dishes are a la carte so we ordered 2 rices on the side. The dishes came out piping hot — guessing that’s the rhyme and reason of how the dishes come out. My favorite of everything was the migoreng and we liked the fried chicken and ordered more. We’ll likely be back!

I had mixed feelings about this restaurant, brought about my wife's added opinion. Decor attempted to resemble an old Italian house scene with external shutters and a moped in traditional colours sitting in the restaurant. It was outdated, old and really needed a facelift. A cottage feel with red tablecloth on tables and uncomfortable but cottage feel steel chairs. The tablecloth at our table showed signs of previous customers with dirty marks showing. The service staff were pleasant, friendly and quick to serve us. Food was average and not exactly made by Mamma in this cottage feel restaurant. I ordered the chicken parmigiana which is a favourite of mine and ordered whenever it is available on the menu. I'm reminded by my wife that I order it frequently so I'm sure it's my favourite meal. So I could say I am an expert of sought. You could hardly see the chips which were under the parmigiana and there were approximately 10 small chips present. The chips were tasteless, beer battered and the worst I've ever tasted. The parmigiana was average but acceptable. My wife's meal was nice. When it came time to pay I was given a price that was rounded up and it seemed that no change would be given. It wasn't much and I didn't argue the point, as a result. It still gave me a bad after taste. Would I go to this restaurant again? No from me. We had dinner outside and didn't see any cockroaches or rats as reported in previously written reviews. Had I seen past reviews and not selected this restaurant by just walking by, I probably would have given it a miss.

You can eat delicious pizza like in Italy and in addition listen the best music in whole Kuta (no, not the live music, but the guys who cook know what are the best rock classics). Highly recommended!

Very comfortable and cozy Italian restaurant with friendly and helpful waiting staff. Also, you can see the kitchen staff prepare the food and bake the pizzas in the open plan kitchen dining area. I had a delicious gluten free pasta penne dish in a mushroom sauce - the waitress told me all the pasta sauces were gluten free - and a fabulous salad with pears, cherry tomatoes, cream cheese, and parmesan with a drizzle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It was to die for. One of my friends had ravioli, which they loved and another friend had a seafood pizza, which they liked, but wished it had more topping. Sadly we didn't have time for dessert, maybe next time. I really hope they expand their range of gluten free options because I loved the pasta sauce I had, but would also love a gluten free pizza. Highly recommended.

Walked into Mexicola on a Sunday night! Took a grab bike there and I would suggest all solo traveller or friends should take one for the convenience + the fact you’re going to be having a bloody good night!!!! The space is such a VIBE’ loved the aesthetics and convenience of entry! We didn’t get a seat for the first 20 minutes as it was packed but the minute I caught a server walking past they got me a seat by the bar for 2 overlooking the dance floor which was fun! Slightly on the expensive side of things as it does add up to the same price you’d pay in Australia for a tequila or a cocktail. I’d say even more expensive but it’s worth visiting for the vibe the team creates. Keep up the pulled taco with the sauce was just mouthwatering…didn’t enjoy the fish taco too much. Like the tacos but there’s a lot you could work on with the flavours. I’ll be back once I return to Bali. A must visit if you’re in Seminyak and wanna have a happy dance 🪩

My introvert husband like being here. Even though its hot (no aircon because open rooftop, just many wall fans and full pack of people inside). The vibe really good, music was fun. This is 1st time we tried mexican food it turn out so good. Strange taste yet feels familiar.. And sometimes the waitress will come to u with a bottle of alcohol, offering u taste 1 mouthfull (i got 2 times, and it strongg alcohol like 12% i think but taste good) If u feeling hot there, just go to the toilet. Strong aircon n smell nice 😁

Day of the Dead was a sensational event this week. The restaurant themeing was amazing, the staff costumes were so good also and everyone was in the festive mood. The food was outstanding as usual and service very fast. We had a really enjoyable time and this is the best Halloween party we have been to. Thanks to all the team

We went to Mexicola on a Thursday night and had such a fun time! The atmosphere was electric, colourful, lively, and full of energy. The staff were very attentive and so sweet and kind. At one point they played the Nutbush and everyone, including the staff, jumped up to dance which made the night unforgettable. Great music, good food, and an even better vibe. Pity we had an early morning the following day otherwise we would have been there very late. A must-visit if you are in Seminyak!

Very yummy food and cocktails. We got the feed me menu and it was well worth it! They also had great options for my celiac and vegetarian friends - they were able to cater to all our dietary requirements It does just get very loud towards 9pm so if that bothers you would recommend going earlier in the day!

I was celebrating my 40th Birthday with my sister on the Halloween Event night. We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you to the Manager Paulo for making it extra special. We will be back next time we're in Bali.

The food overall was great. The starter was nicely decorated but some of the items missed flavour from a european perspective. The beef was nice and juicy. The chicken sticks were all right - even though a bit dry. The staff overall was excellent! Great service; very polite and helpful. The location was alright. I did not like the open concept due to mosquitos entering the building. Also the toilet was sub-standard.

I have tried many restaurants during my 6 days stay at Seminyak I’d honestly say that Chandi is the best Restaurant in Seminyak… why; the restaurant offers the gastronomy experience, the atmosphere and the setting is very calming and pleasant, low music less noise you can enjoy your food and also have a peaceful conversation at the same time. Food is top notch thumbs up to the chef and the service also is matching the high standards of the restaurant, I want to mention Dayu for her attentive service and the welcoming smile. Breakdown Chandi has managed to succeed from all aspects that’s why I chose it as the best restaurant in Seminyak I’d extremely recommend it 🙏🏼

I highly recommend dining inside, as the air conditioning units keep the temperature much cooler than sitting outside on a hot day. We visited during lunch, and the restaurant was surprisingly quiet, which allowed our food to arrive quickly. I ordered a steak cooked on a hot stone, which was an exceptional experience. Unlike typical steaks cooked on a hot stone, this one was cooked to perfection without losing its juiciness. The steak was maintained at the desired temperature rather than being cooked through. My absolute highlight meal was the beef rendang wrap. It was the best dish I had during my trip to Bali. The combination of vegetable crisps elevated the dish to new heights. If you’re looking for a restaurant version of a traditional Indonesian meal, this is the place to go.

Walking along the strip from Seminyak Square we spotted Chandi... a smart looking place offering Indonesian and pan Asian cuisine. I am pleased to say it was a great place to stop .... service was prompt .... drinks including cocktails delivered quickly, and once ordered our superb food was delivered with a short while. We had a selection. Of starters and mains ....All of the dishes were presented beautifully and were cooked perfectly. I would certainly visit again.
