Puerto Rican restaurant
Located right on the ferry canal, Dinghy Dock is a vibrant indoor/outdoor restaurant that's a favorite hangout spot on the island. The restaurant offers a variety of Puerto Rican criollo cuisine with an extensive menu featuring grilled meats and fish such as swordfish, yellowtail, lobster, coconut shrimp, sirloin steaks, burgers, and BBQ pork spare ribs. Visitors can enjoy watching giant tarpons while dining on delicious dishes like churrasco and grilled mahi-mahi.
This place was awesome. Although we had to wait for about hlf an hour, it wad worth it. We had whole fried Red Snapper and the something grilled fish fillet and salad. We were amazed with the giant fishes in the water right next to us. The foods took a while to come out, but our server provided free beers so that was great. We understood the place being crowded and dealing with many orders of the foods. Foods were all delicious and the price was reasonable. Other people in the restuarant seemed chill and enjoying the times. If you come to Culebra island, its worth coming to this place. Come try it, although you may have to wait. Parking could be a bit of challenge so try to come earlier than the regular meal time.

This restaurant is right on the dock with tarpon fish hanging out in the clear shallow water. Many of the patrons will throw their remaining fish head into the water to feed the tarpons. It is quite fun to watch the tarpon jump and fight for the feeding creating a big splash and entertaining to see. On several occasions that we have been to this restaurant the wait is quite long. You need to come an hour before you plan to eat to get on the waitlist. Sometimes you will not be able to be put on to waitlist because they are backed up in the kitchen or will run out of food and cannot place your order. On our visit they ran out of quite a few menu items especially the coveted fried fish. The skirt steak was tasty but not an exceptional. The rice was just okay. And the fried plantain /tostones was good. We also ordered a grilled filet of red snapper. It came with seasoned butter on top. It was pretty tasty. The chocolate pie with nut crust was too sweet to finish. The cocktail drinks such as the painkiller and capriana was pretty good.
Thu-Nga M — Google review
This restaurant has a unique location and decent main courses. Like most of the reviews mention, the fish are fun to watch especially when they are given guests’ unwanted leftovers. Unfortunately the service was not enjoyable. We waited 20 mins to be seated, which was fine, but then we waited 1.5 hours for our food. Each time we needed the server, we had to get up and go to the bar, as he never approached the table after the first drink order was placed. We did not receive the appetizer we ordered, and we were charged for an extra beer on our check.

Dinghy Dock Restaurant, just off the Coast of Puerto Rico, on the island of Culebra, is one of the most stunning views in a restaurant in the Caribbean. The food was awesome. They had a range of food choices from Puerto Rican cuisine to comfort foods. We tried the Fried local Snapper, The filet, and the Ribs and all were cooked to perfection with good portion size. The also have a full service bar. We had our share of Puerto Rico's favorite drink. Pina Coladas. After a day on Flamenco Beach we had a great time relaxing and enjoying the island at the restaurant which sits at water level. We took the ferry from Cieba which costs about $4.50 per person round trip. But get to the ferry at least 2 hours before the departure time to try to get tickets because they are in high demand. You can buy the limited pool of tickets online if you catch them early enough. The hills that surround the waterfront give the restaurant a magical isolation from civilization that is unmatched by the hotel lined beaches in San Juan. The atmosphere is laid back. All tables we saw were covered from direct sun. It is definitely recommended to make a reservation as soon as the restaurant opens. Tables are in high demand there. We rented a golf cart for driving around the island, which made it easier for us to park. And it avoided the Taxi fares, which ran about 10 dollars to get from the ferry station to the restaurant. But you can walk there from the dock in about 10 minutes. We would not suggest walking from the beach as it is too far. There is limited street parking. There did not appear to be easy access for anyone in a wheelchair or with difficulty walking. They also have a men's and women's public bathroom. The service was pretty good. The server knew the menu well and made great suggestions. This is a wonderful place to go for a romantic or family meal. And everyone we met was friendly and engaging and having a pleasant time. Some patrons tossed bread to the fish that swim around the edge of the dock. It was pretty cool to see the fish come up to get the food. This place has it all when it comes to a tropical, fantasy dining location. We would definitely go back again and again to try more menu items or to just have drinks and take in the view.

This is my favorite place in the world. Simply based on the owners, bartenders and the entire staff. Great people. Great business! The food and drinks... Is there a word that is greater than "delicious or perfect?" That's how I would describe it. From the snapper, mahi, churrasco, cod balls, banana daiquiri, piña's and mojitos, and the atmosphere, I recommend all of it. The staff are so welcoming and kind. I highly recommend.
Star — Google review
Go for the ambiance and view NOT the FOOD. We ordered whole fried snapper, arroz con habichuela, snapper fillet, arroz mamposteado, tostones. Arroz mamposteado was some what decent. The rest were blah. They weren't exactly bad but failed to find a reason to exist.
Soumit S — Google review
I had a great dining experience at the Dinghy Dock Restaurant in Culebra, Puerto Rico. The food was absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. What really makes this place special, though, are the incredible waterfront views. Dining right by the water with boats bobbing nearby and the island breeze made it unforgettable. A must-visit spot if you’re in Culebra!

Zaco's Tacos Restaurant in Culebra is a complete package for a dining experience, offering great food, drinks, ambiance, and music. The establishment is known for its weekly specials like the cucumber jalapeno margarita, crab and shrimp nachos, and tuna poke. The limited menu features mouthwatering options such as nachos and fish tacos. Additionally, Zaco's Tacos has a casual Mexican fare with a wooden-plank swing for kids.
Tasty food, great vibe, quick service. Raquel was our server and she understood our requirement perfectly. There was no wait time on a Monday evening but the restaurant was busy. They have veg options too. I strongly recommend this place. Salsa was super tasty. Spicy. We loved it. Trestle he’s cake was good too.
Swati P — Google review
Way overpriced for the quality of food. Food is mediocre at best. We had the mahi and beef tacos. The mahi pieces were tiny, hard, and looked like frozen fish sticks, then covered with a bunch of cream and dressing to hide them. The beef tacos were like straight up basic street tacos you would pay $1-$2 for with hardly nothing on them. The chips and salsa were meh. The guacamole was decent but a tiny amount for what they charge. Also there’s hardly no ventilation there since it’s basically a covered patio on the side of a hill, however it is nicely decorated. This was the first place we ate at on Culebra because of the high ratings but we were severely let down and made us think all the food on Culebra must not be good if the highest rated place is that bad and that expensive. If this place were a third of the price then we wouldn’t complain, but the price of what you’re getting is not worth it. We ate at Dinghy Dock another night and it was great. Had the Snapper fillets which were big and delicious and you can’t beat the view and ambiance. Worth the price there.
Levi S — Google review
I have to start with the great atmosphere! When you walk in, the wood and steel build is rustic and welcoming and the staff, welcome you with a smile. Lights! Lots of lights, warm hanging lights, neon bar lights. Beautiful art. Second. Had to use the men’s room. Great clean bathrooms! Third. The drinks were very good. Again, I don’t like my drinks sweet. I had a Mezcalita, (smoky tequila drink) not too sweet and they made it right on. Forth. They are very clean when it comes to cleaning the tables. Got a super clean table, watched them clean it and they were very thorough. Waiters were very attentive. More than one asked if we were good. Food…for a taco place in PR…this is about as close as you’re going to get to Tacos. 99.9%. These tacos, were GOOD. Like better than most “Mexican” places back home. Unless you’re eating home made Mexican tacos or street tacos in MX, this place is better than most if not all places back in MN. This is the spot to go to if you’re looking for a dinner place in Culebra. It is on the slightly pricier side. Dinner for 5 was 262$ we all had tacos and then 8 drinks between all of us. But…best place that we have eaten dinner on our trip to PR. Worth it!
Arnold S — Google review
This place was great in every aspect. I went a Saturday’s night, and it had live music from 5-9 pm. The musician was from Ciales, PR, and it was really good, he really made the restaurant’s atmosphere festive. They food was good, really good portions, they also have a variety of Margaritas to taste. The best was the “Tres Leches”, it was home- made. The service 10/10.
Frances M — Google review
Yummy but pricey tacos. As a visitor and tourist of the island, I don’t mind paying for pricey food as long as it is worth it. The fresh local caught mahi mahi was delicious and the carne asada as well. The cocktails with fresh fruit margaritas are a 10/10 - at least the mango one that we tried 🤤
Dominique R — Google review
Very decorated and modern feel. The seating area is in the back yard with cute lanterns. They even kept the big tree in the center and built around it!! It was the only place that was open on a Monday at 8:30. Food was good and tasty but definitely overpriced. It feels like your typical Americanized tacos. We got the pork belly burrito and mahi mahi tacos, with the extra spicy salsa. That salsa was very spicy with a slow burn. Fresh coconut for $15 was definitely overpriced bc I had to try it. Eh I've had better for cheaper, but I was there so I accepted the cost. The passion fruit margarita?! That was the best actually. Light smoky taste to the margarita and so delicious.

Zaco’s Tacos in Culebra, Puerto Rico, is a top-rated restaurant known for serving the best fish tacos on the island. Just minutes from Flamenco Beach, this local gem offers fresh, flavorful tacos made with high-quality ingredients and homemade sauces. Visitors and locals alike love the relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, and unbeatable island flavors. If you’re searching for where to eat in Culebra, Zaco’s Tacos is a must-visit spot for an authentic and unforgettable dining experience. Also try the Jalapeño Margarita, it’s a must.

Some people just know how to run a restaurant. Well prepared food, friendly attentive staff, cool vibe. A great spot for a bite. One draw back, not good options for health concerns. The only fish option was battered fried.

Moncho's BBQ is a great place to eat if you're looking for delicious, filling Mexican food. The restaurant has indoor seating and friendly staff, and the prices are reasonable. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but it's worth it!
Quick service and tasty local foods can't. Roasted chicken us tender and meaty. Good indoor seating. Friendly staff. Located in the heart of downtown. Parking us very limited but worth the walk for a quick meal.

Great place! They explained all of the options to us and were super kinda. There is nowhere to sit but we brought the food to the beach and it was perfectly delicious!

I literally just got rice and veggies but somehow it blew my away. My boyfriend had beans and pork added and mentioned that was very good too. Nice big portions and fast service too! Good job Moncho's

Carne frita in the oven: very very good. White rice and beans: ok. My husband and I went a few days ago while we were in Culebra.. Chicharrones de pollo: too hard and dry. Arroz con gandules: very good Beefsteak with onions: very tender but too salty and way too much vinegar. Yuca (cassava): very very good. Amarillos (yellow plantains) : very very good. Excellent service and reasonable prices.

Culebra Coffee is a Puerto Rican-owned cafe that specializes in the best 100% Puerto Rican Coffees. They offer a full espresso menu, large Hot Coffee, Cold Brew and Iced Coffees. The cafe is located on Pedro Marquez Street in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Overall, I would recommend Culebra Coffee to anyone visiting this beautiful island.
Ideal location to get a quick breakfast before heading to the ferry. Just around the corner from the terminal, this tiny cafe and gift shop offers some delicious breakfast options. We had their veggie sandwiches and coffee. They were all freshly made and flavorful. Highly recommend.
Maitri H — Google review
The location is great. The inside itself is very crammed. The server was good. The coffee was mediocre and the food was meh. Didn't have too kind options to chose from for breakfast. Probably would not come back here again.
Airmansingh — Google review
Out of the breakfast places in Culebra this is the one I liked the most. Inside is tiny and you have to squeeze in to get to the counter to order. Outside there are 3 tiny tables so I recommend to order to take away.
Dom G — Google review
Interesting atmosphere, but HORRIBLE food and coffee. Cardboard taste. These people probably buy stuff at the grocery store (in a box,) and reheat it. Grossly overpriced. I'm sorry but I have no idea where the good reviews are generated. Table was also dirty outside... so sad, so much potential. Not again.
Eric E — Google review
We stopped by here on the way into the island and was greeted by Riley. She was outstanding and we where highly satisfied with our coffee and delicious sandwiches she prepared for us. In fact it was so good we stopped by here on the way out of the island for one last delicious cup of coffee. We bought the local Ciales coffee from her gift shop. Thank you Riley and hope to see you soon again. Kim and Tiffany. 🖤

Cute little coffee shop with decent breakfast options. Server was incredibly friendly. Shop itself is a bit small, but the food was of decent quality!
Heather M — Google review
Charming coffee shop with excellent lattes and a tasty breakfast menu. There’s also a great little shop attached, offering a variety of unique souvenirs.
Andrew L — Google review
I wanted to like this place but there were a few glaring things. The food was doctored up Costco staples. The Açaí bowl was the frozen ones you get from Costco with some granola and banana added on top. I know supply chain is challenging in a place like this, but this was not what we’d hoped for. The Ciabatta roll was also clearly from Costco. What really did this experience in though, was sitting at the bar and listening to a cook and presumably the owner talk about their politics loudly. Not how I wanted to spend my morning. Can’t really say I recommend this place.

"Come y Vete" is a small outdoor eatery located in Culebra, offering a variety of delicious empanadillas and pastelillos. The place provides shaded seating with a view of the island airport, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy some tasty food. Visitors highly recommend trying the homemade empanadas, particularly the chicken and fried meat options. It's considered a perfect stop for fast food before or after visiting Flamenco Beach.
The food here was hands down the best food I had on culebra. Nothing beats the local food trucks in my experience thus far. This place is CASH ONLY. I had the pork chops with rice, beans, and sweet plantains and came back for more the next day. Everything is made fresh, so there is a wait time, but it was so worth it. If you want to try different things from the menu, you must get there early because as the day gets later, there are fewer options. Lastly, the local chickens chick's and rooster will probably stop by to make sure the place is tidy. So please be mindful not to drop any food.

Soooo delicious. I highly highly recommend!! We were looking for lunch options available here in Culebra and believe me, this place wss awesome. Sooo delicious. I am not good with Spanish but we showed the pictures and ordered the foods. They were all so good. We had porkbelly and fried rice, and then, fried something (long banana-sized) filled with meat. Also we had guava queso Emphanada. Everything were so good! The vibe and atmosphere is also cute here. Come check it out. It's placed on the way to Flamenco beach.

Look. You don’t need to leave your trip to this island without having Puerto Rican food. This is the place. Don’t come in a hurry, they are actually cooking for you. It’s fried food but it is in no way greasy or dry. So good! Great after the beach!
Ann D — Google review
Hands down nicest people we met on the island, the lady working the counter was super patient with me, even after I ordered and then realized it was Cash Only. We drove across the island (a full 4 minutes lol) got cash and came back. She immediately remembered us, got our order rolling and THE BEST CRAB AND BEEF pastelillos I've ever had in my life! DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE.

This is a cute food stand on a side of the road on the way to flamenco Beach. It is at one end of the small airport on culebra. You can eat and watch planes land and take off here. It is really windy at this food stand. There is a deck attached to the trailer where they prepare the food. This place makes probably the best beef empanada I have ever had. It is super fresh and made to order. It is full of ground beef and the flavor of the ground beef is very good as well. They also have other food items such as skewered chicken, kan kan (fried pork belly) The flavor was pretty good and comes with one side. Please remember to bring cash since they only take cash and no credit cards!
Thu-Nga M — Google review
Empanadillas were really tasty. Has a variety of fillings for the meat, cheese or seafood lovers of empanadillas. It is a small outdoor place with a shaded sitting area. The giant seat is a must go place to take pictures and create memories. Has a view to the Island airport. On your way to Flamenco is a must stop.
Josuania P — Google review
Absolutely delicious. The Mofongo bites and bistec where so good. The empanadillas was also very good. The place is very nice and inviting as well; love the design of it. Best place to eat while in Culebra for sure!

Mamacita's Restaurant and Bar is a popular spot in Culebra, known for its convenient location and friendly staff. Situated on the canal connecting the ocean with Ensenada Honda Bay, it offers a variety of cuisines including whole lobster, blackened dorado, swordfish, and more. The atmosphere is casual and lively, making it a great place to hang out in the evenings.
I had dinner here having just arrived in Culebra. I chose the Mofongo, which was really really delicious, the serving size was pretty good too. The staff are all very friendly and willing to help, the atmosphere is great and there's a nice view of the canal. I definitely recommend visiting here, however it won't be a cheap meal
Peter B — Google review
My wife and I ate here on 03-18-2025. The atmosphere is great, right along a canal. There aren't menus. You are told to scan a qr code as you walk in for the menu. We were at dinner early and there were plenty of tables available. We were seated right away and drink order was taken. Our order was taken quickly and the food arrived quickly as well. My meal was delicious, my wife said hers was just ok. The problem I have, is that our waitress just didn't come back. All the wait staff was sitting at a table in the main dining area mostly staring at their phones. From our initial drink/food order and delivering the food, she never came back to ask if we needed anything else. We finished our food quickly and just sat there, and sat there, and sat there watching the staff just sit on their phones. We wondered among ourselves if they would just let us sit there all night. When she finally walked by, (in hindsight I should have timed the wait.....it was really, really long) we were able to get the check. The food prices did not match the listed price on the menu, but were within a couple of dollars each. I was charged for my side that says it comes with the meal, while my wife wasn't. I was going to complain as the difference was about $12, but figured by the time I would get someone to assist that my time was worth more. I haven't been so tempted to not leave a tip in years, but decided to try to be the bigger person (or due I was trapped in the vicinity for several more hours.

Food was amazing and drinks were well made. Atmosphere is lovely able to view the tarpon fish so close. Service was good took a bit for the food to arrive but food was well worth it.
Mel M — Google review
Beautiful view! Our seats were right by the clear water, and we got to watch many tarpon swimming around. A gorgeous big iguana even crawled by, which made the whole experience feel extra special. The dishes were all very flavorful, but very salty. We thought about ordering bowls of rice to balance it out, then remember all PR rice is salted too. Still good food overall, just be prepared for a salty meal.

Unbelievably delicious food! 😋 highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! Ribeye churrascado with chimichurri was amazing. Red snapper was full of good flavor. Coconut shrimp and sautéed shrimp in garlic aioli was great. The staff was friendly and the environment was amazing. Huge Tarpon fish in the area are great to see while you dine in. Highly recommend this restaurant 👌 👏 👍 🙌 😍

Heather's Pizza is a popular spot in Culebra known for its delicious and hefty pies. The long lines of customers waiting outside are a testament to the quality of their Italian/American-style pizzas. Whether you're looking for a family-sized takeout or just grabbing a slice, Heather's Pizza has got you covered. The Boricua Pizza and pan pizza are highly recommended, with generous toppings and great quality ingredients.
You can customize the pizza to your choice. You can get a slice, personal size or M, L. I got pepperoni and sweet plantain and it was BOMB. The personal pizza was the Hawaiian option I think. Pizza is made fresh. It’s more cheesy rather than saucy which I like more. We also got a piña colada and a mojito. People here a friendly and know English.

While exploring the island of Culebra, we stumbled upon this local spot. Nothing fancy, just a laid-back place—but sometimes that’s all you need. We ordered a small cheese pizza and a frozen lemonade, and to our surprise, both were really tasty and refreshing. A simple, satisfying stop during our island adventure.
Margarita S — Google review
Can’t speak to the service as I had to pick up our car rental so someone else in our party placed the order for me, but the pizza was bomb!! I got the boricua and I loved it! The sweet plantain pieces went great with the sweetness of the roasted garlic chunks, cilantro gave little pops of flavor and it was overall delicious. Crust was fluffy and crispy, no complaints. It felt like a local joint; we had a small table in the back and ate our pizza and drank our beer and had a great time!

We had an amazing experience at Heather’s Pizza in Culebra! The food was excellent — from the pepperoni pizza to the fried calamari and chicken wings, everything was fresh and full of flavor. They also have delicious natural juices that go perfectly with the meal. The service was excellent, everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Prices are very affordable, and the place has a nice, relaxed ambience that makes you feel comfortable right away. Definitely one of the best spots to eat on the island — we’ll be back for sure! 🍕🍹🌴

Quaint Lil pizza spot. The pizza was pretty good. A Lil light on toppings but tasty. It was done in fifteen minutes. We enjoyed some non-alcoholic passion fruit daiquiri's; which were amazing. And got the hot Hawaiian pizza. The service was very good, she checked on us several times. I would come back again. Large pizza was 26 bucks. They also have air conditioning.

Ordered two large pizzas at 7pm they were ready at 945pm and burned black. We kept asking if they were ready and were told “were a little behind” with a stare that we should just be patient and stop asking. At 9pm the otherwise nice waitress came up to me to let me know that our order was misplaced and our pizzas are being put in the oven. Oops!?!?20minutes she said. Yeah that took another 45. I get the island time thing but 2hrs and 45 minutes for a pizza is nuts… and especially as we sat in the restaurant and kept asking them. I think we were pretty nice and as patient as anyone can be but seriously WTH! We were offered free drinks. Haha. At that point food and drinks should be on the house. Independent of the disaster delay the pizza was mid. Burned black and only eaten because we were starving and no other options at this point. Find another option. There is a great pizza place around the corner next to ferry where we saw the locals eating….a bit too late for us. Atmosphere was ok. Nice bar, and staff was friendly minus the delay. Another group said their pizza took two hours. Maybe also missplaced? The locals that ordered seemed to get theirs relatively fast but maybe knew to order way ahead.

Nestled in the picturesque hills of Culebra, Susie's is a delightful culinary gem that beautifully marries Puerto Rican and Asian flavors. This charming restaurant offers an array of gourmet dishes that will tantalize your taste buds, such as snapper fillet with roasted garlic cream, garam masala-encrusted grouper paired with a zesty tarragon-lime-coconut aioli, and fresh octopus salad.
Wow this was soooo good! Definitely get a reservation, though we came with out and were able to be seated. The vibes are A+ and the food was amazing. The lobster tail is HUGE though so if you are getting it for sure share with someone, we (2) could barely finish it. Definitely the nicest restaurant in Culebra. 💋🦞❤️
Violet O — Google review
I’ll be succinct. Culebra is magical, but Susie’s is a magical place INSIDE a magical island! Food 10 out of 10. Preparation top notch. Fish was paired with a wonderful dry white wine chilled to perfection. I don’t like cats, but the cats roaming reminded me of how far away from the ordinary I dine. Carrot Cake with kiwi and brandy soaked fig, stole the show!!! And the gardens are exquisite!!!
Brad S — Google review
Spectacular meal, and fabulous service. I was hesitant about ordering the lamb chops (not the type of food you normally find on this remote island) but my fear was unjustified. The meal and the exquisite preparation was on par with the best restaurants in San Juan, but much more affordable. The wine list was also especially notable, with excellent choices that were all reasonably priced. After 3 weeks here in Culebra we’ve been surviving on low budget wines from other restaurants and grocery stores; having a wonderful bottle of Tempranillo at Susie’s was heaven! With appetizers, entrees, bottle of wine, and dessert, it was a well spent $60 per person! We will be back!

Beautiful spot for dinner with the most delicious food! Make sure you contact them for a reservation. Loved the garden area it had such a nice atmosphere. The food was amazing and the servers were all very friendly and helpful. Be patient as they do get busy but you can see them working hard to take care of everyone!

Our night was spectacular, the garden in the entrance was BEAUTIFUL our food was delicious and unique and our server (I think his name was Michael, he mentioned being a teacher) was stellar!!!! Truly recommend this place. I loved the cats so those weren’t a problem for me ❤️🫶
Edwin C — Google review
Susie’s was a lovely dinner with a casual but beautiful open air garden/patio setting. We loved the ambiance; especially the sweet cats that would wander around very politely asking for pets! The owner apparently feeds a good number of street cats and we loved the additional company. Our waitress (Heather maybe?) was incredible, giving us menu suggestions as well as tips for our visit to Culebritas we had planned for the next day. She was super friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her and learning a little of the history of the restaurant. The food was mostly amazing- we loved the escargot, it was a different preparation than I’ve had before with a sort of buttery herby sauce. Also loved the sides, the beans and rice were top notch and the mixed mash was very fun and interesting though a little dry without sauce- delicious with some sauce from other dishes. I heard very good things about the chicken and shrimp; unfortunately one star off as my husband and I bought got the Mahi-mahi and it was rather chewy and tough. The flavor was there but didn’t really enjoy the texture. I would 100% go back and get the shrimp though!

Wow, wow, wow, absolutely insane meals ❤️ What a place! Went on a Sunday evening and were lucky to get a table without a reservation, we got an appetiser to share, two mains and two deserts, our hearts, souls and stomachs were so full! Truly amazing food, the flavours are so well thought through and the quality of the ingredients is next level. What a gem!

Best meal I’ve had while visiting friends in Puerto Rico and exploring Culebra. Susie is an incredible chef, originally from Puerto Rico, trained in NY I believe, and having run a restaurant in culebra for 10-20 yrs or something, with her husband and genuinely pleasant staff. We will definitely be back!

This seafood restaurant offers a variety of dishes including steak, Caribbean, and Puerto Rican cuisine. The food is good and the service is friendly. It can be expensive, but it's worth it for the delicious meals.
I'm not a beach guy, so for me going to Culebra isn't a big deal. But this restaurant makes me want to go everyday! Delicious plates and even better deserts. It's worth every penny you pay in here. Highly recommend to go an eat here.
Alberto R — Google review
Attention and service are exceptional. The locale has a few parking spots right outside the door and random spots to try and park on the side. The inside is small, loud, and decent looking. Potential is def there. Presentation of their plates is superb! However, the most important in my opinion, flavor, is severely not lacking but abundant and not in a good way. The fried fish (which by the way is on the expensive side, and not promoted so ask if you want to pay for something that looks good but falls short) outside skin was perfectly cooked, but salty salty salty. The inside of the fish, if you could scrape crispy skin off, was well cooked and good. Tostones were good. The fish broth, had a good flavor to it but was barely warm. Churrasco was pretty, the rice it came with was again, overly salty. The salmon was unfortunately inedible again due to the abundance of salt. It's a shame this restaurant disappointed, and a bigger frustration the prices made it def a bigger loss of worth. Would not come back.

Most restaurant on the island are close or the food is only to take out, so this is the only restaurant that you can dine in. My experience was horrible, we rather buy food in the supermarket and cook it than eat in this restaurant. We wait hour and a half for the first plate... that’s right... not all plates came at the same time. Actually, the was 2 order exactly the same and didn’t arrive at the same time. Personally i walk to the bar to ask the bartender for beverages because my waiter didn’t check on us. Finally we pay for things they add to our bill so ASK for the bill. Please avoid the place but if you go verify the ticket before pay.
Valek — Google review
Great all-in-one host/waitress/bartender! The food was ok but not amazing. The menu could use some fresh local catches. Calamari were good. Lamb chops were interesting but I didn't love them being rubbed on coffee grounds. They could use a bit of salt.
Melissa D — Google review
Waitstaff was nice and tried hard. Fun atmosphere. Dinner for five. Watched as others who arrived and ordered after us were served before us. Ordered mahi mahi and were served tuna. Two entrees were brought out and finished before the next two were delivered. The fifth entree was served after all other meals were finished…. THEN the appetizers were served as we waited for the check. Go with low expectations and enjoy!
Addison H — Google review
The restaurant is quite expensive and positions itself as high end fine dining. While the food was actually very good (with some preparation flaws- see below) the service was so bad and slow I ended up leaving $5 tips on $225 bill :( Eight of us + 2yo had a dinner in Caracoles on February 23, 2017. Appetizers: fried calamari - very good, we ordered more and even kids loved it; ceviche - good and balanced; tuna tartar - good; Entrees: seared sesame tuna - very good; 12oz $28 (!) sirloin- came rare instead of medium rare:((( I wanted to ask to replace but we waited for it so long that my son refused to part with it and ate it rare; kids meal skirt steak for my younger one came well done though (asked medium) :( and was hard to chew :( ; and finally "chillo fish" (red snapper) in plantain crust - perfectly cooked, but... with no salt!!! Literally. It was not under salted but has no salt!!! $25 fish fillet with no salt! Are you kidding me? I waited 7 min for waitress to bring salt on the table and managed to make the fish good. Little ones were not hungry so we asked for a dessert for them (crepes with Nutella and ice cream) to come right away with our appetizers. Guess what? Kids got their crepes only when adults finished their entrees! :( Doesn't sound like a high end service deserving a very high price tag. Skip!
Beldim2010 — Google review
I enjoyed this restaurant. The service is good but slow. People forget they are in island time here in culebra, don't expect a quick meal, at any sit down restaurant. There were 2 adults 4 teenagers and a child with us. 3 of us had the flank steak, it was really good. That's can be a tough piece of meat, but they did wonders with it. The asparagus and potatoes were also yummy. My husband didn't love the steak but he is a porterhouse type of guy, he did like the rice and beans though. We ordered 3 appetizers no alcohol or deserts. Our bill was $198

Nice restaurant, with amazing food and superb service. Noises was our server, he explained the menu gave us great recommendations, always making sure that our evening was memorable. I sure will come back! We had the fresh lobster with tostones de pana. As appetizers we had fresh conch salad... amazing. And for dessert we had the nutella fried cheesecake... hmmmm!

Krusty Krab is a hidden gem on the island, known for its excellent food and breathtaking views. Although it's a bit challenging to find and requires navigating steep terrain, the journey is well worth it. The restaurant opens at 5pm, allowing visitors to enjoy stunning sunsets while savoring delicious dishes prepared by a talented chef. With its amazing location and top-notch cuisine, Krusty Krab comes highly recommended for those seeking an unforgettable dining experience.
It's hard to find but it's worth the trip! Best food on the island and you get amazing views. The chef is absolutely great. If you put your GPS it takes you there without a problem. Definitely a hidden gem!

Awesome place! Best food on the island in my opinion. They don't open till 5pm and it's a little steep in a golf cart but we made it up The hill few times. The sunsets are amazing! Highly recommend making this stop for dinner.
IDo D — Google review
the view is really what sells this place. but be weary if driving up with a golf cart. its a very steep climb. the service was poor and i know they were busy but it took 20 minutes before we were even acknowledged. its is byob. oh its just a food truck but prices were a little steep for how casual it was.
Scott P — Google review
Hit or miss. Pros: Amazing view, BYOB, and harder to find, so it's usually less busy or at least not as crowded. Cons: At the top of a steep hill that is hard for golf cart rentals to get up, the food was good and bad (tostones were served hot and fresh, but with a side of Russian dressing out of a Kraft bottle), and the service was not good. It took over an hour to get our food with two or three empty tables (there might be 8 to 10 tables, tops), they forgot our side orders, and then forgot us again when we asked for the check. I had to stand in front of the staff counter to pay. When I did pay and expressed dissatisfaction with the service, the waitress did not apologize for anything, but just said loudly, "It wasn't my fault."
Brandon F — Google review
Breathtaking! Hands down best view on the island. Go during sunset. Fish Tacos and Conch Salad were tasty! About a 10 dish menu. Heads up: It's bring your own alcoholic beverages or order non-alcoholic drinks there. We actually returned next day during daylight hours to soak in the scenery again before leaving the island. Not 5 stars, only because there are no restrooms (or sink to wash your hands) - Tip: Bring Bug spray. ENJOY!

La Cocina Del Navegante is a must-visit restaurant on Culebra Island. The ambiance is charming, with an ocean view from the platform setting. The food is exceptional, with dishes like lightly breaded and fried snapper, fried grouper with shrimp, and various pasta and chicken options receiving high praise. The creamy sauces with delicate capers perfectly complement the fresh seafood.
Looking at our plates, obviamente que no nos gustó. Jajaja just kidding, it was AMAZING!!! Best food we’ve ever eaten. Service was amazing. Music was wonderful. Buenas vibras.

The atmosphere was pretty nice. For the service, they need to have more attention to the tables. We have the empty plates of the appetizers in the table while eating the entrees plates. The table was uncomfortable while eating because of this. Also, the cooker/chef shall be more careful with the spicy level in the food. The Spicy Crabs were so hard to eat because its spiciness was out of limits. I cant even eat a piece of the fried plantain (tostones). Referring to the entrees, it was delicious.
Jennifer C — Google review
Restaurant with a good view. Spicy crab is ok, will not order next time. Coconut shrimp is good! Paella tastes good but slightly too salty. The best??? Osso buco!!!!
Why M — Google review
GREAT view from the restaurant! It is fully outside, so be prepared for mosquitos that are typically everywhere on Culebra. The breeze felt nice and the restaurant is under full-shade. I ordered the calamari and grouper bites, pretty great apps! Then, we got the shrimp scampi (it is not pasta BTW just the shrimp in the garlic butter sauce with bell peppers and onions), the red snapper with the garlic cream sauce , and the rice & beans were amazing. My husband got the churrasco here and said the meat was a little chewy, but the taste was great!
Abby S — Google review
Such a great vibe and the food was literally phenomenal. Slightly pricey but absolutely worth every penny. I knew from the moment I placed a side order of rice & beans that tasted like you walked into one of the locals grandmas kitchens.

Best meal on Culebra so far! Food was out of this world, views and atmosphere amazing and the service excellent! Super friendly server and kitchen staff. Even in the low-season, they’re open from 1 to 9PM.. What a gem!!

10/10 recommend coming here for a nice fresh meal. The snapper was AMAZING! Also tried the mofongo, coconut rice, and coconut shrimp. Everything was GREAT! Ask for Tito!
Kayla H — Google review
Excellent food, waitstaff/bartender/busser is OVERTAXED. They NEED more employees. A separate bartender and front of house person at least, the two waiters were slaving to do everything and, given the amount of people that showed up, could not manage the work load (through no fault of their own!). The seafood paella was excellent, but I do wish it had actually been crispy on the bottom instead of served in a fresh dish that looked nice...

The braised pork and seasoned rice are highly recommended, providing a taste of typical Puerto Rican cuisine. Whether you choose to dine inside for some air conditioning or outside on the porch to enjoy the breeze, this casual cafe offers a pleasant dining experience. The person taking the orders was very attentive and took care all of the different request we wanted as far as adding and subtracting items to the menu. In summary; -Tuna sandwich was fresh and delicious -Roast pork sandwich was flavorful and big -Fried eggs was top notch… it didn’t have one spot of blackness, which tells me they cook with clean pans! Great job! Overall an excellent breakfast!🍳

Hey tourists friends like me, this is a place that local people will frequently go so it’s great to visit there for authentic local food. Great local restaurant for the taste of Culebra. They have quite traditional breakfast menu, but also authentic lunch options (we tried that one). Beef stew and chicken were delicious.

Good Puerto Rican food. I got the chicken and pigeon pea rice and it was tasty. Husband got pork ribs in a sweet and sour sauce with pigeon pea rice and his was okay. La Jibara - Pizzeria Creativa is a unique pizza experience located at the ferry port in Culebra, Puerto Rico. This pop-up tent offers some of the best sourdough pies made with fresh local ingredients, including mozzarella cheese from cows on the island. The friendly owners make their own sourdough crust and offer a variety of pizzas, such as El Fogon and Culebrarita.
We just finished probably the best pizza I have ever eaten! Waiting for the ferry in Culebra and stumbled over this gem. Sour dough crust that was amazing and compatible with my gluten intolerance. Toppings were fresh and creative with a wonderful drizzle of honey at the end. I can’t say enough about the food and the great service. Perfect end to a great day!

If you are looking for a great pizza on the island of Culebra this is where to go. After a long day we stopped and ordered pizza before getting on the ferry. Keep in mind you will need 30 to 45 minutes for them to make your order but it is 1000% worth it. I wish this pizza place was closer to me. We would frequently visit it. We ordered a desert pizza which was nutella, ricotta, and honey and a cheese and pepperoni pizza. Delicious!

Omg this is amazing. Visiting from Los Angeles. Best pizza I’ve ever had. I knew this pizza would be good just based on their oven. I recognized the oven because it’s the same my culinary school has. Small place with local feel and a cozy shaded patio. Staff was the most friendly and so kind, but sadly we did not like the food much - ribs, shrimp and crab. They did not have fresh fish that day (apparently their top meal). The rib portion was very generous.

To start of with the drinks Where GREAT! The SERVICE FANTASTIC! The Food to me in personal opinion as a local from the island was GREAT! I had skirt steak with rice and beans and my girlfriend shrimp in garlic sauce with rice and beans too both were great! This place is small... but packs a punch 👊! The best service and the best foods. Our server was super friendly & gave some great suggestions. Definitely go for the many flavors lemonade 😋. Be sure to make this a stop when you visit culebra.

The service was very slow. We placed an order which consisted of an appetizer and a main dish, 50 minutes later the food wasn’t ready. We alerted the staff about the long wait and asked for an ETA as we had to leave. They asked for 5 more minutes, we gave them 10 and asked for the food to be packed as we had to leave to board our ferry. 10 minutes passed and still no food so we got up to pay for our drink and cancel the food order but they declined to cancel and said “no refunds” and “we’re not responsible if you have to leave for the ferry” even though we had not paid for anything yet. Then suddenly another staff member came out of the kitchen with our main dish but said the appetizer had not been prepared yet. We were nice enough to take the food and pay for it but we could have easily just left cash for the drink and walked out.

Stayed in Culebra overnight and we were looking for more of a local vibe. Found this unassuming gem on Google and the reviews were spot on. The place had plenty of games for kids and billiards for the adults with some TVs playing sports. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. We ate the carne ahumada and the sirloin sliders. Huge portions and tasty. Ask for the pique if you’re into spice! My partner had a cocktail and she enjoyed it more than other bars in the areas. I had a craft beer and it was served cold. Fantastic Meal and Amazing Service at El Batey We weren’t sure where to go for dinner in Culebra, but we ran into our snorkel guide from H2O Water Taxi at the gas station and he recommended El Batey. He couldn’t have steered us in a better direction! Our server was absolutely wonderful — her smile lit up the room and made us feel so welcome from the moment we sat down. The service was friendly, attentive, and genuine, which made the experience that much better. The food was absolutely fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish we tried exceeded expectations, and we left feeling completely satisfied. If I could spell our guide’s name correctly, I’d give him credit here for pointing us toward El Batey, but as an old gringo with no Spanish skills, I’ll just say: thank you — you didn’t do us wrong! If you’re in Culebra, do yourself a favor and eat at El Batey. Between the amazing food and the warm, welcoming service, it’s a must-visit.

DomiRico Flavor Food Truck is a hidden gem located across from H20 Water Taxi. The food truck offers an incredible dining experience with its flavorful and generous portions. The chicken sandwich, fish fillet in garlic sauce, bistec, chuleta frita, pasta with shrimp, and pasta with chicken are just some of the mouthwatering options available. The locally sourced ingredients and friendly owners add to the charm of this family-owned establishment.
Unbelievable!!!! I came here due to the great reviews and was not disappointment. Couldn’t even get a picture of the chicken sandwich because I inhaled it. The chicken had to be local and was almost like shredded rotisserie chicken with the most incredible flavor along with crunch lettuce, tomato, and toasted bread. Also got to fish fillet in garlic sauce(pictured) so fresh and flavorful!!! Got a side of rice and beans for $4 and it was huge. Such a great price and amazing owners. Worth the wait, she puts love into each dish

While the reviews are right about this place serving delicious food, I took one star out because for a food truck it’s extremely expensive. We took 2 portions of rice and 2 mains of fish and shrimps and a drink which ended up being 80$. Maybe we did it wrong somehow but I expected a food truck to be on the more affordable end.

Super delicious food at this establishment! I ordered the camarones al ajillo (garlic shrimp) with plantains and it was perfectly seasoned. We placed an order set in the middle of a very, heavy downpour but she was still able to accommodate under these strenuous conditions. I would highly recommend if you visit Culebra!

You can literally feel you went to Dominican Republic. This place is so delicious. I had the “Tres Golpes” (picture) and a “Morir Soñando” to drink and both were exquisite. Maritza was so nice and made us felt like home. This must be a mandatory stop if you visit Culebra. 10/10 ❤️

First, HARD TO FIND, but located across from H20 Water Taxi. Now, this is the best meal I had in Puerto Rico, even more pleasurable for me than one I had by a James Beard-nominated chef. The chef here was so kind as to give me a a bit of a sampler, with the bistec, chuleta frita, and habichuela. If I had just had the bistec, I would have said it was great. Tender, not chewy. Saucy and great with rice. But the chuleta frita — truly something special! Super flavorful. I asked the chef about her methods, and she emphasized that she doesn’t use any premixed seasoning, but uses fresh herbs and spices. My legume-sensitivity didn’t allow me to have more than a bit of the habichuelas, but they were AMAZING. Kind of soupy, and would be so delicious poured over the white rice. Oh, I also had the amarillos and amarillos kind of seem like they’d all be the same, but I thought these were lighter, with an ever so slightly crispness rather than sogginess, and much better for it. THIRD VISIT, 6 MONTHS LATER: I had this lovely ensalada de bacalao that had EVERYTHING — potatoes, (cooked!) carrots, tomato, red cabbage, olives, and of course the cod. This salad made me so happy! (I did call and order it ahead so it was ready for me because everything is made to order.) Still very much in love with DomiRico!

Sweet side of the road spot - fresh food made to order, very tasty. Nice outdoor chill zone, good shade, nice vibe.
Ilya P — Google review
Convenient location but super expensive and price are not listed and did not even provide a receipt. Our order took twice as long as they told us and after 1.5hr wait food was given burnt , some items missing, and one meat was replaced without notice. When i called the person was rude but did offered to cook the right meal but after such a long wait snd ferry schedules we could not wait longer. Spend $57 for two meals and a extra side of rice+beans.

Beautiful friendly people, family owned by the most wonderful husband and wife. So helpful and they let me feed the heritage chickens. Fresh food made to order a great coffee. She recommended some places for us to visit as well.

The friendly vendor serves up a variety of dishes, including sweet plantain and beef empanadas, homemade stew of pigs feet and beans with rice, arepas, and lobster salad. Fresh seafood every time. The prices are good, the chef is an expert, the patio is great. This is the best.

Best empanadas I’ve ever had. Extremely friendly staff. We will return.
Alexis F — Google review
We passed La Pica several times during our visit to Culebra. We finally stopped there for lunch on our last day. I wish we had stopped sooner and more often! We had a grouper fish sandwich that was out of this world, cooked to perfection, super fresh and pleasingly plated right down to tiny Puerto Rican flags which we took home as a souvenirs of one of the best meals we’ve ever had. The chef and her grandson were warm, friendly and delightful. We can’t wait to sample more of La Pica’s delicious food. Muchas Gracias❤️

I do not recommend this place. They didn’t have a lot of the things I ask to eat and I settle with the boriburger and the meat came out raw and it was old grey meat so I didn’t eat it. The other people I was with order seafood salads different varieties and they said it was ok.

Really good flavors, the lady is a whole character lol, you would like it. Some locals can seem “rude” but I just think is the way they approach customers, it’s nothing personal. Really yummy food in this small kiosk

We went to this place several times during our October 2021 trip to Culebra. Really just a food truck with a couple of tables. Many of the restaurants on the island were closed, but this friendly vendor was usually there from morning until about 4:30. Lots of little fried things. We particularly like the sweet plantain and beef empanadas. She makes other simple plates of food at lunchtime.

Totally worth the stop for whatever is on the menu of the day! The owner is super charming and will tell you what time of day it is. We had a homemade stew of pigs feet and beans with rice, arepas and slice of avocado (of course!)

JJ Grill & Bar is a must-visit spot with excellent customer service and friendly staff. The homemade cheeseburger comes highly recommended, and the pina colada is simply amazing. Even during Tropical Storm Phillipe, this was the only place open, and they did an exceptional job. The atmosphere is fun and lively, making it a great place to enjoy delicious food at great prices.
Omg the food was so delicious!!! Very convenient that as soon as you hop off the ferry the restaurant is right there. The service was excellent and food was fresh. The sandwich was delicious and Nutella frappe was outstanding!

In Culebra one of the best breakfast places is Latitude Perfecta. Junior and his sister are amazing hosts the drinks are great and beautifully garnished. My kids had lemonades and they tasted and looked amazing. The food is delicious and they serve pretty fast. Not a very big place but they were still able to accommodate a group of 8 people.

The bartender Jeremy was so kind! He showed us some of his favorite spots to checkout while we are here and they did not disappoint! The food was delicious, especially the rice and beans. They also do breakfast and it was the best food on the island in my opinion. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Michelle C — Google review
Great breakfast spot right next to the ferry. Rather quick service given a Saturday morning and being one of the only few places open near the ferry. Be mindful it is very small inside and hard to manage with travel items or big groups. If it’s full definitely have a back-up in mind of where to eat as there is very limited seating. Everyone was very kind and the food was delicious! We will be back 🌴

Was so disappointed to find out the Dinghy Dock was closed during our stay. But if not for that I may have never eaten here. Burger is out of this world and much better and cheaper than the ones I’ve had from Dinghy Dock. Friendly and welcoming owner. Good prices . Maybe the best meal I’ve had on my trips to Culebra. Highly recommend.

Incredible Breakfast and Even Better Hospitality at JJ’s Grill & Bar We stopped into JJ’s Grill & Bar for breakfast, and it turned out to be one of the best choices of our trip. Our server, Jenny (apologies if I’m spelling that wrong!), has been on the island for over 20 years, and she made the entire experience unforgettable. The breakfast itself was fantastic — hands down the best we’ve had. A special mention has to go to the “toast,” which isn’t just toast at all — it’s pure perfection. Imagine pillows of heaven topped with rich, creamy butter. Absolutely incredible. But what really set this visit apart was Jenny. Her warmth, local knowledge, and kindness didn’t just make breakfast amazing — she also connected us with H2O Water Taxi, which set in motion one of the best days of our lives exploring Culebra. If you’re in Culebra, do yourself a favor and have breakfast at JJ’s. The food is outstanding, and the people are even better.

We went to JJs for breakfast on our first morning in Culebra. Jenny is such a sweet and bubbly human! Not only was the food just AMAZING, she helped get us set up with H2O Water Taxi when we were scrambling to find a snorkeling tour. JJs is absolutely a must when you're in Culebra.

Great food in Culebra, good portions and very well seasoned. We went around 8pm and there was not much of a wait. The owner is so sweet and friendly. Overall happy about our experience.

Excellent. Great ambiance. Good made to order. Outdoor bench seating at a food truck. Twinkie the cat provides entertainment. Neighbor horse whinnies in the background. Had the wings and pechugo al ajillo (chicken breast cooked with garlic) with tostones (fried plantains) on the side. Would recommend

We ate here and everything was amazing! We ate together with a cat and two dogs, they didn’t bother us at all but they kept us company. The lady was very gentle, we asked her also questions about the island and she helped us. We paid $40 bucks for a looot of food. The one in the picture is not everything that we took. We had three sides and 3 main plates. Plus beer water and M&Ms. We would recommend it to everyone!!

My family stayed nearby for a few days, and the food was a perfect home cooked Puerto Rican meal. She makes everything fresh so be prepared to wait. We went twice during our time. You can eat there and it's SUPER casual, with her friendly dogs roaming the grounds, but we chose to take out. The prices are very right, and the portions were generous so we had leftovers for the next day. We had pork chops (chuletas), octopus (pulpo), shrimp (camarones), chicken wings (alitas), with rice and beans and tostones de pana, and all were delicious! So worth the visit!

Lechonera la Criolla en Culebra is a must-visit food truck in Culebra, Puerto Rico. The hardworking young couple behind it serves up delicious, perfectly roasted pork with just the right amount of saltiness and crunchy skin. Their pasteles and arroz con gandules are also highly recommended, tasting like they were made by a grandma. The owners are friendly and provide explanations about the food in English.
We enjoyed every bite of this incredible food. Best pork I ever had in my life. Great friendly service, we can’t wait to come back
Iliana A — Google review
I’m a big fan of Lechon. I had it in the US, the DR and PR. On beach, in the mountains - spit roasted - wood fired oven - buried and China Box preparations. This was the absolute best. I asked for salt and pepper - the owner told me they didn’t have salt and I wouldn’t need it - he was right - the seasoning and flavor are exceptional!! The chicharron was crunchy and had a great mouth feel. Not too hard - not too chewy or fatty - just perfection. The meat melted in the mouth - you could have eaten with a spoon - no knife needed. I was disappointed to see a two star review but then saw it was from someone who went when they were closed (that’s not fair!). I may go tomorrow and buy another pound - why not! The rice and pigeon peas was superb. The plantain as good as it gets and the roasted sweet potato perfect.

The most legit food… on the island! Full on PROPER roasted whole pig… chopped up for all the customers that line up until the pig is gone. Precious crispy skin with every order. All with legit beans and rice and side dishes. It doesn’t get better than this anywhere! Like, ANYWHERE.

Best food we had in Puerto Rico. Owners were very nice and gave explanation about the food in English. The Pork asado was amazing. (Only thing that might be improved: would be great to have the food in more sustainable container)

Hands down awesome. This guy stays up all night roasting an honest to god pig. It’s delicious. A plate comes with a pile of sides. Call ahead and find out what day he is there. Fantastic fresh food options that are both healthy and delicious. Friendly staff answered questions about ingredients I didn't know, and the fresh fruit smoothie with melon papaya and blueberries was refreshing. Nice cool space with tables for eating in the shade. The loaded bagel with salmon, sprouts, cream cheese, tomato, and capers was on point. Also the breakfast sandwich is bomb, the fresh baked bread is amazingly sweet and delicious.

A smashing, stand out breakfast joint close to the ferry landing with outdoor, covered, sidewalk seating. Pourover coffee compliments fresh, made-to-order dishes like waffles, acai bowls, eggs and toast, and pancakes. The home fries are great but the bread they use (and bake fresh daily) for the toast is out of this world. Portions are large, but go on the earlier side as when they run out of an ingredient, they are out. Posted hours like everywhere on the island are more of a suggestion than fact, but def stop by this place if you can.
Corrie D — Google review
Maybe it was a busy day but the food took FOREVER. Look at this sad breakfast. I tried to make it better, but was extremely OVERPRICED for a subpar meal. Blac Flamingo's breakfast was definitely better. These homefries would be laughed at by New York homefries. The staff was rude-ish as well. As a New Yorker, I didn't care, but it's a PASS for me next time.

I loved this place. Rarely do you find a place that is both tasty and healthy, but in Vibra Verde, you have both! In addition to the fantastic food, they have natural juices and smoothies. I had a lemon-ginger-mint juice and it was very refreshing. The location is also nice, right next to the ferry dock, and receives a cool ocean breeze. If you are looking for a great breakfast or brunch spot in Culebra, this is it!

Came here after getting dropped off at flamenco beach. Decided to order some pastelillos. After 20 minutes passed still no food. Everyone after and before me got their food. Finally went to the counter and said hey wheres the food I payed for. The cashier asked the guy that would grab the food hey wheres the guys empanadas and the other guy said i dont know. The guy then asked the cook hey wheres is his food and she said what food you didn’t ask me for anything. I immediately asked for my money back. They tried to short change me back my $20 but it was resolved quickly. One of my biggest things is customer service and this place forgot what this is. Forgetting someone’s order all together is how you lose a customer. Maybe i will give them another chance when i return to culebra. For now they get a 1 star.

Was expecting a great meal; that was not what we got. My steak was so raw it was pretty much inedible. I tried to flag down a server for ten minutes before I gave up and tried to eat it. Still blue in the middle, supposed to be mid rare. Once you do get your food; absolutely nobody ever comes back to check on you. They avoid eye contact on purpose. Had to get up and ask for a box, then for the check. Do yourself a favor and don't eat here. I was overpriced and underwhelmed! If I could give zero stars for service I would. As you can see I didn't even eat half of my steak.

Difficult to find on Google Maps, but it's close to the Ferry 😀 Terminal. I had the fish sandwich, with onions, pickles, lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce. Really good island food!
James B — Google review
LOCATION UPDATE. So, I never got to eat there, but the Google location is not correct. Its right by the terminal. Right next to the BANCO POPULAR on the right side (if coming from the ferry).

Massive specialty burgers served on a tiki theme decorated deck surrounding a food truck. Some parking on site. No alcohol served. The potato wedges were great, curly fry seasoning on a wedge fry.

We have cheeseburgers and the meat was very juicy ad delicious, but I was expecting a toasted bun, but instead it was kinda stale and cold. I would not mind for a regular burger place, but these were $10+ burgers. Fries were ok, nothing special. Parking is limited. The place is necely decorated and our waitress was very kind.

We stopped by on our way back to the ferry. Not many places were open, so we were happy to find Tiki’s. The fish sandwich was pretty good. The burgers and yucca fries were amazing. FYI- the Pionono burger has plantains on it, it was really yummy. The shrimp salad bowl was also delicious. The cashier was friendly and helpful. Thanks for being the best end to our beach day!
Michelle R — Google review
Tiki's Grill is located in a small streetside location on the same road, I think, as Heather's Pizza. We walked right by it until we noticed the tiki straw awning over the entrance. It had a counter and only 4 tables, so there's usually a wait. The hamburgers were super juicy, the fish fritter taco salad was very fresh, and the milkshakes were really good, although pricey at $9 each. That was the only price I saw on their chalkboard menu, so it was a bit of a surprise when the bill came to $90. That was for 3 burgers, a fish taco salad, an espresso, a Fanta, 2 milkshakes and 4 bottles of water. Yikes. But like I said, everything was really, really good.

Harspoon's is a hidden gem with a friendly atmosphere and excellent service. The bartender, Karina, is highly knowledgeable about the menu and local delights. Chef Jonathan creates unique and flavorful combinations, such as the mouthwatering fresh caught Queen Snapper paired with recommended vegetables. The homemade tres leches dessert is a must-try. Despite its unassuming exterior, the interior of the restaurant boasts cleanliness, appealing decor, and pleasant music.
Good quality, Fresh Fish. When we arrived to Culebra (beautiful island) this place was on our way to our lodging. The outside look of the restaurant doesn't make it justice to the quality of the place. Fish cocktail and fried calamari were pretty good, as well as the Ropa Vieja, but our highlight was the "3-pound" Fried Red Snapper, enough for 3 of us! So tender and well seasoned, only the bones remained! Among other places we tried in this Island, this was one of the best in terms of seafood quality.
Sergio H — Google review
This by far is the best restaurant with the best food on culebra. We came back here twice on our stay. We ordered the whole fried fish. The fish that we got the first night was the grouper. It was really a nice white meaty textured fish. It was fried to perfection and crunchiness on the outside while the fish was hot and tender inside. The flavor was very good. We also had the painkiller which was great. The churrasco is delicious had a really good flavor.

Harspoons was absolutely incredible, don’t miss out on this place. It’s small but that’s what makes it special, the food and flavors were phenomenal. If your looking for top quality service with amazing authentic Puerto Rican food and drinks don’t skip out on Harspoons. Photo - NY Strip x 2, Blackened Shrimp and the Yellow Tail Snapper.

We walked in as a table of four right after 5 and were able to get seated, but reservations are recommended. The coconut daiquiri was great and I would've loved to have gotten a second one. Each couple ordered the catch of the day which was the red snapper. The fish was fresh, meaty, salty, and fried. It was enough for each couple. I would recommend asking the weight of the fish that they have available before ordering it as they charged us 2 different prices for the fish as there were different sizes/weights. We also ordered the tostones and mofongo which were great. I would recommend eating here as the food was very well done.

Great food and friendly service. Ceviche, as the rest the rest of the reviews note, is a good and refreshing option.

Wow! This place was amazing. The gem of our 3 weeks trip in PR. Friendly and funny staff Their Moscow Mule was a surprise, the server had a great story to tell about it. You need to make reservations otherwise it will be impossible to get in. Remember to ask for fresh fish, we were delighted with 5 fresh caribbean lobsters.

Karina is the best bartender/server ever! So knowledgeable about the menu and local delights. The food was outstanding !! Chef Jonathan has the most unique and flavorable combinations. The fresh caught Queen Snapper melted in my mouth and paired so well with the vegetables recommended by Karina! And the tres leches dessert…homemade is the best in the world (Jenna is a genius). Not kidding! Also a shout out to Michael for impressing my new friends so much they recommended this place to me! Harold is a genius for starting and building this place to perfection!!

Nina’s Island Cuisine is a charming eatery with a relaxed island vibe. The restaurant offers delicious food at reasonable prices, making it a popular choice for locals and tourists alike. It's recommended to call ahead for pick-up orders as the food preparation may take some time due to the small staff. The Camarons with Mofongo dish is highly praised, and visitors also rave about the delightful coco flan.
The Camaron’s with Mofongo dish was outstanding. Service was perfect and Nina was so kind. The coco flan was fabulous!! This is a must stop eatery near the airport and Carlos Jeep.

Good food! Was open Sunday til about 8 pm. But island time. Food took half an hour so best to call ahead and pick up. Reasonable prices considering its a small island. Come before night as many tourist tend to come later and can take up to an hour for food. Only 2-3 people working.

Cash and take out only. This wasn't a problem, employee was friendly and food tasted good. However, my husband and I had terrible stomach aches and up all night in bathroom after eating here. Not sure if food was not prepared well or if we had food poison, but definitely won't chance going back.

Mamacitas Guest House is a cozy and casual guesthouse located just a short 4-minute walk from the Culebra Ferry Terminal. The property offers comfortable rooms with air conditioning, soundproofing, and balconies with views of the surrounding beaches. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and bar.
If the rooms are as good as the food, I think you’re gonna be good. The food is excellent. There are some very recently items and there are some item menus that had to put my head between my knees and do some deep breathing into a bag. The wait staff was exceptionally competent and easy on the eyes. There are schools of massive tarpon that swim right on the inlet and that is where the dining area is. It’s an open area. I recommend going after sunset so you can benefit from the green underwater lights that illuminate these tarpon that are about 4 feet long and God only knows what. They have become habituated to the diners and circle around, begging for french fries and what not and the diners do not disappoint. Grab yourself a rice and beans get yourself a nice icy glass of lime water. If not get a seat away from the water. (Although we both know you got this Tommy Bahama) I’m certain that stupid drunk Americans have swam with their cell phones and dinner attire amongst the pescada.

Went to eat, food took a bit, but was delicious. We were told we could not join two tables, so our kids had to eat separately, but it was ok and they had fun watching the fish in the canal.

I spent one night in Culebra and slept here. The room was very clean and had all the necessary amenities, plus a balcony. Very good location especially if you need to get the ferry early morning, it’s just 5min away from the ferry.

Feb 19 to the 20th 2025 we stayed in mamacitas with 2 daughters and we loved it. The bunk beds are nice and the girls loved it..very friendly workers..the room is perfect for what we wanted and I give it 5 star. There a few details that I have to warn you..room 204 does not have hot water. The room has a balcony and it is next to a small street and can get noisy..on Thursdays the trash truck collection comes at 4am!!! Woke me up. And random rooster making noise early. Overall we had a good experience here and also there is a restaurant and bar downstairs next to the river..location is awesome walking distance from the pier and there are restaurants and bars. We loved this place.

I stayed at this place due to being stranded because the ferry had canceled all trips for the day due to Hurricane Erin. This place was filthy. There were also multiple roaches. The roaches were getting on the bed as well. I will never stay here again. It was my only option. The A/C worked very well but I can't get passed the roaches and dirty sheets. I couldn't sleep at all.
Michelle M — Google review
Disappointed and Misled by Reviews We checked in late and unfortunately had no choice but to stay, but this place was filthy. I’m honestly shocked by the positive reviews—it felt completely misleading. The cleanliness was unacceptable, and the service was poor as well. Definitely would not recommend.
Jazmin G — Google review
I was a little worried about this place due to the other reviews but I think any low review of this place is simply due to unmet expectations. This hotel was EXACTLY what I needed as a solo traveler who needed an affordable room with a lot of convenience. This place is so close to the ferry, the banks, multiple restaurants and bars, the car rental spot, etc. Front desk service was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that it does get loud here at multiple times of the day. If you’re a light sleeper, bring ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones and that will solve that issue. That’s a small inconvenience to bring compared to what you get for a great price. For the staff: if there’s any way you can solve that small step issue to the bathroom, I stubbed my toe many times. Not a deal breaker at all, guests just have to be extra careful.
Chris H — Google review
For a 2 star hotel this is a great hotel. The service is just amazing. The staff is super friendly and serviceable. We had a couple of issues that were quickly solved. The rooms are 2 star, but provide the essentials that you need to have a pleasant stay. The restaurant (staff, food, service, atmosphere) is extraordinary. If you like shrimp, you got to try the Mofongo (Yuca) with shrimp or the shrimp scampi.

Tiki's Grill is a beachside gem that offers a delightful dining experience. The menu features mouthwatering options like the Pionono burger with plantains and the delectable shrimp salad bowl. The friendly cashier adds to the welcoming atmosphere, making it the perfect end to a day at the beach. The tiki-themed deck surrounding a food truck creates an inviting ambiance, while the massive specialty burgers are a highlight of the menu.

Sunset Grill is a charming restaurant located at the top of a mountain, offering breathtaking views. The menu, although limited, features delicious dishes. Despite potential delays in service due to a small staff, the owner Hector and his team provide friendly service. The food is freshly prepared and includes fresh fish and well-cooked pork with "tostones de pana." While they don't serve alcohol, guests are welcome to bring their own.
Stunning views from the top of the mountain where the restaurant is at. Menu is limited, but very good. It may be a little wait in service due to only being the owner (Hector) and two cooks, but he was very nice and food was good. Not over priced either given you are in a small island with limited options.

The food is great, freshly cooked, nice view, and great service. The fish is fresh and perfectly cooked, the pork and mofongo, with the "tostones de pana" were great!!!.
