Italian restaurant
The Pasta Gallery Tobago is a charming restaurant located on Pigeon Point Road, close to popular beaches and hotels in Crown Point. The cozy eatery offers a trendy atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating, creating an intimate dining experience. The menu features hearty portions of well-prepared pasta dishes, including favorites like spaghetti alla carbonara and classic spaghetti Bolognese. In addition to the delicious food, the restaurant also showcases local art pieces that are available for purchase.
I m a first time visitor to Pasta Gallery! I cannot express the warmth of this place. The customer service is beyond exceptional! The food is beyond tasty and the portion size is exceptional. They VALUE QUALITY! A Watermelon punch was made for me in which I had one sip. Before I could even assess it, a polite , well mannered waiter came to tell me that it was tested and not up to par. They made another one which was so rich! I couldnt believe the degree of quality control! The food is reasonably priced and certainly a restaurant to visit by everyone!

The pasta sizes here are enormous! I feel like I've been robbed at local Trinidad restaurants for ever after visiting this place. There are options on the menu that do not come with a higher price with a different meat - if it's fettuccine, the shrimp or chicken option is the same cost. I went in for the dining experience but had to leave by the time my order arrived so I took it to go. The experience was cut short but the food was still good.

Can't go wrong when in Tobago. Food is great. Pasta made fresh. Great portions. Enjoyable atmosphere and friendly staff

Superb first time experience at this quaint yet elegant eatery for the first night of my Tobago vacation . Located conveniently along the Pigeon point road . ( Beautiful eye catching art that captures local vibrant colors work is a must see ) . On a Mondays they are also open when I had done a beach excursion and needed to have dinner when most places were closed , they came to the rescue ! Delightful wait staff , very professional! Food of course was delicious and filling !!! The eggplant Parmesan starter is a must . I can’t wait to return . Prices are very good too
Niven S — Google review
Cute, delicious, friendly service. My only issue was the time it took to get our main dishes. I imagine that the pasta is fresh, which is why it took so long? The food was worth the wait. We got the bruschetta and side salad to start, all very good. A tad salty for the bruschetta. We ordered a half portion of fettuccine Alfredo, and it was a generous size for an adult. My child loved it and said it was "the best pasta ever". We ordered the ravioli special. We chose white sauce and got extra red sauce on the side to make a rose sauce. This was so good. You could taste the freshness of all the ingredients and pasta. I would come back to try another pasta dish. Yum!
Farhana A — Google review
Food is good and everything only disappointment is the servings of meats for the money spent, imagine spending $70 for a half shrimp alfredo to only receive five(5) small sized shrimp like you paying for macaroni alone, have to do better with shrimp meals for the cost, otherwise food satisfaction is good.
Kristen F — Google review
Really cute restaurant concept and excellent pasta. My party and I enjoyed our meals here and the option of gluten free pasta. The food portions are generous and it didn’t take too long to be served. I would just recommend that they add more dairy-free options to the menu, but adjustments can currently be made to some of the dishes to accommodate that.
T — Google review
The shrimp Alfredo pasta was delicious. Notably you're able to order your meals in half or whole portions for those of us who have small appetites. The ambience was really nice & the service was excellent 👏 Definitely recommend this establishment

Restaurant
Brown Cow Restaurant in Crown Point, Tobago is a small and intimate 24-seat eatery known for its enchanting dining experience. The restaurant offers a blend of indigenous dinner fare with global inspirations, making it a top choice for those seeking an elevated culinary adventure. In addition to delectable lunches and kid-friendly meals, Brown Cow also features afternoon tea, tempting dessert menus, and a special Makimono/Sushi extravaganza on Sundays and Mondays.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Our group ordered the grouper (catch of the day), seafood pepper pot, chicken trio and the pinwheel steak. All dishes enjoyed by all and were perfectly paired with the appropriate vegetable and starch. There were 4 children in our group and surprisingly all were very pleased with choices made from the children’s menu, which included sliders, pasta with chicken with a choice of Alfredo or red sauce. Dessert included chocolate cake and super delicious canal cheese cake.

Think the idea of good cuisine in Tobago/Crown Point is admirable, and with some development, this place has the potential. However, the lack of communication between service and the kitchen, lack of ability to think with a client, and attentiveness makes me not recommend the restaurant, and that is unfortunate. To start positive, the food was beautifully made. The lamb was good. And unfortunately, there is a however. The way the staff communicated with us, which was basically telling us "no" instead of really checking with the kitchen and asking questions, was shameful. The lack of attentiveness when sitting outside was not necessary and could have led to selling more drinks, for instance. The lack of thinking with a client with allergies led to a waste of food, and that's not something I like. The mistakes were "fixed" but just unnecessary. Hopefully with development this restaurant makes it, it really has the potential. I get the challenges with getting supplies from Trinidad. But please communicate this with the client and before the client orders.
Miriam R — Google review
Brown Cow is a charming little spot that immediately feels warm and inviting. The space is small, yet it gives off a very homely and intimate atmosphere, accentuated by soft lighting, vines draped across the ceiling, and cozy wooden décor. The open layout makes it easy to feel part of the energy while still being able to enjoy a quiet evening. The menu is well-priced, making it an attractive choice for casual dining with the potential to grow into something more refined. The sushi was fair, rating about 5/10, with room for improvement in terms of freshness and presentation. The main courses were more satisfying, coming in at about 6/10, showing that the kitchen has promise and could evolve into a strong fine-dining option with some refinement. Service was friendly, and the ambiance makes you want to linger a little longer than expected. Brown Cow might not yet deliver the polish of a top-tier restaurant, but it certainly shows potential. With a little more attention to detail in the food execution, it could become a standout spot for both casual diners and those seeking something a bit more elevated. Verdict: A comfortable, well-priced restaurant with a warm, homely vibe. Worth trying now, and definitely one to watch as it grows.

My husband and I wanted to have a delicious dinner in a quiet restaurant close to our hotel in Crown Point. The Brown Cow restaurant exceeded our expectations with the taste of the food and the quality of the presentation. Very attentive service and we received a couple items on the house too. :-) For our entrees, we had the pistachio & herb crust lamb and the honey roasted geera pork belly. Both were delicious! The lamb was cooked to perfection, medium well as requested and the sauce, with a touch of sweet glaze on the side, complemented the taste of the lamb. It was served with sweet potato mash. Now on to the pork belly dish. I am a Filipina, and a properly crisp pork skin is what I’m looking for. The skin was crispy but not hard at all, and the pork was tender and delicious. The pork belly was immersed in a plate of polenta with plantain slices and a refreshing touch of cucumbers & a couple cocktail shrimps in the middle. Compliments to the Chef! The service was attentive without being intrusive. Overall a very pleasant dinner in beautiful Tobago. And the price range is quite reasonable for the excellent food and service. Rest rooms were very clean.

This place is such a gem!! While visiting Tobago for the first time I struggled to find more upscale dining at first. But I was so happy to find this restaurant! The lobster, the seafood soup, the lamb and the chocolate cake was out of this world!! The waitresses were so welcoming and friendly and took such great care of our group!! The food was so good that we came back for a second dinner here during our trip. The chef was so nice and came out to greet us. Simply amazing experience, I highly recommend Brown Cow, you will NOT be disappointed!! Compliments to the chef!!

We had a lovely experience at the Brown Cow. It has all the flavours and dishes of Tobago, beautifully packaged into fine dining. The Chicken Trio and the Dahseen creme brûlée were our particular favourites. My partner enjoyed the geera pork as well. Please do visit if you get a chance!
Shikha K — Google review
Excellent food and wonderful experience. The fish was very fresh and delicious. The seafood pepper pot delicious. The kids meals were perfect. The desserts were home made and delicious. And the Service was great and attentive. All in all a great experience and a nice indoor treat since most other restaurants in Tobago are outdoor. A great way to end our vacation in Tobago.

Best restaurant I have been to in Tobago so far! Best seafood soup I have ever had! The presentation of the food was spot on...as well as the sevice, atmosphere and quality! The food taste was a unique blend of french/cajun and local flavors! Perfect!

The food was great, service was quick and the lovely staff answered any questions I had. I had a tasty gyro and enjoyed every bite with a sunset. I will try their other items next time I visit.
Christopher G — Google review
They take phone orders which is great because I find the area too noisy with loud music from other places close by. The area doesn't feel safe. I wanted to get in and out fast. The staff is friendly. The food is good. Good place to get a quick and easy meal.
Vic S — Google review
The 2 young men who assisted my father were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The lamb and barracuda gyros were quite tasty. Thanks for allowing us to have our salad separately.
Yasmin A — Google review
Revision needed to “policy” regarding rectifying incorrect orders. We placed an order for a lamb gyro at the gyro station only to receive a chicken and cheese gyro. Naturally we realised this after leaving crown point, so we returned only for the cashier to remember us and acknowledge that the order was incorrectly made by the chef…. However no replacement was given as the “receipt” could not be produced. Given the chaos that occurred around the time of our order (fight among coworkers from a neighboring establishment) there was an opportunity to use discretion and maintain good customer service, especially given the acknowledgement that the chef got the order wrong. Regards, Once Loyal Customer

I visit here everytime I go to Tobago, the food is consistently enjoyable, sometimes there is a long wait time for food based on the number of customers waiting, however service is efficient and pleasant.
Rehanna S — Google review
Loved the Grilled beef, Grilled lamb and garlic potatoes!! Came back the next day to get more! The customer service is good and the food doesn't take too long to come, unlike some more expensive restaurants. Beautiful experience and I'd definitely recommend. If you don't like food that is sweet/sour, I would recommend avoiding the Arabian rice...I'm sure some people love it but it just wasn't for us.

Allison J — Google review
I have family both in Trinidad and tobago, the one place we go to start and end our night would always be here. The staff are friendly and funny. Drinks are worth what you pay as they don't measure shots and the food is pretty good for what your paying as 75tt got me BBQ chicken curry that was spiced and seasoned with a good tang. During the week it's quite quiet with a few people round the bar, some have a small dance but mostly its people eating. On Wednesday they do have a karaoke which is very fun. On weekends is when everyone comes out and the bar can get very busy but a lot of the crowd are good people and it's a great atmosphere.

The steak and fish were wonderful! The staff were super friendly, and the place was very clean and professional. I had a great time, and enjoyed the wonderful foods!

Had the coconut cheesecake here years ago and went back recently for lunch. Hands down the best food I had in Tobago, and the cheesecake still ranks as my #1. Service and ambience is excellent.
Anessa D — Google review
We enjoyed out night here. The food is top tier and worthy of prestigious food awards. For appetizers we had callaloo soup & jerk fish with plantains. Main courses were the Barrel eye fish with creole sauce and Barracuda fish with butter & garlic sauce. Both served with ochra rice and seasonal vegetables. For dessert we shared cheese caked topped with coconut flakes...yum. The portions were more than enough. $200 US for a party of 3 that also includes drinks. 2/3 had Stag Beers while the other opted for juice. Our host of the night who we believe to be the owner (we didn't ask) was attentive and very pleasant. She was also accommodating and entertaining. That same energy was shared with other guests as well. We shall return.

The food was excellent, fresh, and well-prepared. The service was good, and the lovely veranda provided welcome respite from the afternoon sun. We will definitely return.

Our last lunch in Tobago at The Fish Pot was the perfect send-off! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the first bite of their freshly prepared hamburgers, we knew we were in for something special. The fish with pasta, topped with an unforgettable alfredo sauce, was a highlight – genuinely a "best I've tasted" moment. The service was a joy, attentive without being intrusive, and the restaurant's relaxed atmosphere, enhanced by the gentle sea breeze, made for an idyllic lunch setting. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy a meal at The Fish Pot; it's a must-try for both lunch and dinner!

The cuisine at Cafe Coco Restaurant was excellent. I relished the delectable lobster dish, which I found to be particularly enjoyable. Moreover, their rum punch stood out as one of the finest beverages I have ever sampled. The quality of both the food and service was very high, leaving me thoroughly impressed. Additionally, this establishment possessed a delightful ambiance that added to its appeal. In summary, Cafe Coco Restaurant is a charming eatery that offers great-tasting fare and impeccable service.

The food was ok-ish. The Alfredo sauce doesn’t have that sourish zesty flavor that you’d get from pasta in a chain like Olive Garden etc, but the chicken was well done; no chewy bits. Decor and ambience was on point, minus the mosquitoes trying to eat me. I dined at night.

Wine store
La Tartaruga is a top-notch Italian restaurant in Tobago, known for its homage to the leatherback turtles that visit nearby shores. The menu offers a wide range of Italian cuisine, including fresh seafood, homemade pasta, vegetarian options, and an impressive selection of Italian wines. Chef Gabriele De Gaetano's passion for food shines through in his dishes. The restaurant boasts a warm and intimate atmosphere perfect for couples and an extensive wine list curated by the chef himself.
The location is outstanding in Buccoo Bay. The ambiance was inviting and warm. The staff was very attentive, friendly and accommodated my restrictive diet. The food was fresh and just the right amount. The veggies and fish are sourced locally and the pasta ingredients come from Italy, as they should. The owner was super friendly and loved greeting his guests.

Great experience. Friendly staff. Came for lunch with a party of four but could not stay as one of the party was feeling ill. The staff was so considerate and understanding. Packed up the lunch for us to go. Had been a birthday celebration and they put up a happy birthday banner. Was so impressed came back that same day for dinner.
Christopher B — Google review
Tucked right next to Buccoo Boardwalk, La Tartaruga is a charming little gem offering a truly authentic Italian dining experience. The ambiance is warm, rustic, and homely, with wooden interiors, a cozy wine display, and a bar stocked with an excellent selection of spirits. The open-air setting flows seamlessly into the lush outdoor greenery, giving diners a breezy, relaxed island feel while still maintaining a touch of European elegance. When it comes to the food, La Tartaruga delivers authenticity. The appetizers were a highlight, rating a solid 9/10 for flavor and presentation. The mains—both lunch and dinner—were hearty and satisfying, though leaning slightly more towards a 7/10, perhaps reflecting my personal bias toward stronger Trinidadian flavors. Still, the quality and authenticity were undeniable. The drinks menu, particularly the wine selection, is impressive. The curated list complements the food beautifully and adds a touch of sophistication that elevates the dining experience. Overall: La Tartaruga blends Italian authenticity with Caribbean charm. It’s a place where you can enjoy excellent wine, great food, and a laid-back yet refined atmosphere. While some mains may not have the boldness I’m used to from local cuisine, it remains a must-visit restaurant in Tobago for both visitors and locals seeking a taste of Italy. ⭐ Appetizers: 9/10 ⭐ Mains: 7/10 ⭐ Drinks/Wine: 9/10 ⭐ Ambiance: 9/10 ⭐ Desert: 6/10 📍 Verdict: Good food, excellent wines, wonderful setting – highly recommended
Adrian A — Google review
Did a wine tasting session here and there are no words. The wine was immaculate but the entire experience from start to end is a must-see and must-try for anyone visiting Tobago. This is what a taste of Italy feels like and the food, simple plates to go with each round of wine, was delicious 😋 I'll be visiting this restaurant whenever I am in Buccoo Tobago. It cannot and will not be a one and done. Too too good 😩😩😁
Khadine D — Google review
Our reservation was made to have lunch and the food was good, very tasty (Penne Alfredo and Penne Bolognese) and it was served at an optimal temperature (warm to - hot). Our wait time was about 8 minutes. In terms of drink, our waitress helped us through the selection and even allowed us to sample the wine of choice. Neither person at the table is a fan of red wine but the chosen wine was delectable and enjoyable. Can't remember exactly which wine it was but it was in the "By the Glass" section of the menu and I'm sure the waitress can guide you to a selection. Also, our waitress was respectful, kind, courteous and helpful, really cementing the experience as a class action in first experiences. P. S. The website has almost all the information and allows for booking via phone or WhatsApp, highly recommend you check it out before reserving or walking in. Additionally, the boardwalk as well as the ILoveBuccoo sign is in close proximity to the restaurant making for a scenic view of the greater Buccoo beach area. However, at the time we came for lunch some light maintenance being done around the restaurant and the sound of drilling not to far from our table often disrupted conversations. "But besides that everything was perfect, I loved it."
Jaden N — Google review
Nice Italian restaurant with good service, ambience and a decent wine list. We ordered the tomino grigliano, chicken alfredo, spinach cannelloni, and a tiramisu and enjoyed it all. We had bellinis to start and then a couple of herb teas at the end of the meal. Would recommend
Shad — Google review
The main course was delicious. But desert portions are definitely on the smaller side they were tiny with HUGE prices for teeny weeny portions, my desert was 75TTs and I got a singular scoop of icecream (without the normal extra half-ish scoop which hangs off the icecream scoop) 5 marshmallows (the tiny ones) and 2 oreos. Personally this was more toddler friendly than 5,7 sized. If you want to ask “is this it??? whilst crying” for desert then yes doo go. But if you’re looking for something on the smaller portioned size then the food would suit you as it was nice. It’s probably a me thing, I just like more than 3 mouthfuls of pudding.

*Warning Canadians* I came here with my cousin today(she's a local). We each got a drink and chatted while our families were in the water.Three Canadian families traveling together to be exact. It started to rain with lightning, and our families ran out of the water into the beach bar. They did their best to dry off, and we ordered lots as we didn't want to sit there without ordering. The parties were attempting to put dryer clothes on and enjoy their drinks. The owner came out yelling at one of the 16 year old children in our party. Not only was he yelling but he was swearing at a child stating that he got his floor wet...keep in mind it's a beach bar and there's a thunderstorm...the bar is pretty run down and there was water and sand everywhere to begin with. My brother attempted to explain that he was just a kid first time visiting Tobago and didn't know he was doing anything wrong, but the owner continued to escalate. Keep in mind he had no issues with us when we were spending our money. The owner has no hospitality, no customer service skills and should not be in a beach bar business. Visit at your own risk. Not a place for tourists or tourists with children. He refused to allow us to use the washroom. Speaking kindly goes a long way, especially to tourists visiting your establishment. Additionally, the owner had what looked like contract workers using power tools and working in the rain with no safety equipment whatsoever. Another health and safety concern for staff and customers. I'd give this place zero stars if I could. Save yourself from a headache and go somewhere else. Tobago has many beautiful bars that value customers, tourists and hospitality.

I’ve never been moved to write a restaurant review before but the food from this place was so unbelievably bad that I feel that I have no choice. I would give zero stars if it wasn’t for the pepper sauce and fries. Those are only worth a quarter star but they don’t let you do that. Worst meal I have had in Tobago - or anywhere in fact. I did takeout and got the grilled fish with rice, and a grilled shrimp with fries. Got back to the villa and found a skewer of overcooked veggies and 4 mid sized and absolutely gross “shrimp”. I picked up the first shrimp and it fell apart and off my fork. What?!?! I could literally mash the shrimp with a fork like an overcooked potato (see below). I could spread it like a paste. DISGUSTING and completely inedible. What’s even worse is that before ordering, I asked the chef if they had fresh shrimp and he said “Yes, fresh, nice jumbo shrimp”. My companion’s meal was totally mediocre. A tiny, thin piece of overcooked fish (I didn’t know you could slice kingfish that thin) and nondescript, tasteless rice. Only good thing I have to say is that the fries were decent and they have a nice pepper sauce. Terrible experience all round. Other reviews say the drinks are good and they very well might be, but the food is not worth the styrofoam container they put it in. Don’t waste your time or money.
Dionne H — Google review
Nice open area to get drinks and relax. Washrooms are ok. Staff are nice. Lovely view of the beach whilehaving your eats and drinks. People often bathe here but there are some rocks and stones close to the shore so be careful of those.

Great place for some food, drinks, music, outdoor dining, and sunset watching. Really amazing food... we've been here every day trying something new. If you like Indian food and/or seafood, you're gonna love this place.
Amanda D — Google review
The atmosphere is perfect, cold beers, beautiful sunsets, excellent service. Next time I'll try food, but it just makes you want to stay there and just enjoy the ambiance.
Aswad H — Google review
Amazing location and good vibes if you’re in the area. Worth a visit to watch the sunset coming from elsewhere on the island. Menu is extensive and on the pricier side, but kudos to them for knowing their market and taking advantage of it. Tampering pork is good. Grilled chicken and veggies is also quite tasty, but beware if you have allergies as sometimes you might be surprised to have everything come out covered in Parmesan cheese. 😔 Service is on island time. Head up to the bar if you need anything.

The vibrant Original House of Pancakes is a great spot for families to enjoy traditional pancakes. The friendly service and eclectic mix of music give it an old-fashioned feel, while the value for your money makes it a great choice for brunch.
Visited here twice while on my 4 day trip, the food and hospitality was so good I had to visit again. The food was great, filling and the prices were reasonable. The first visit by boyfriend and we both got "The House Special" which had 2 pancakes, bacon, eggs ( your choice of egg), bacon, a fruit cup and a drink (hot or cold). I got the fruit punch and my boyfriend got the orange. Everything was exquisite. The second visit we both got the combination breakfast (includes different types of pancakes of your choice, waffles, coconut bake, french toast, plain toast, salt fish, plantain, different types of eggs, bacon, sausages, fresh salad and a fruit cup) and hot chocolate. Would definitely visit again such a lovely place with lovely people.
Kirlene E — Google review
Great quality food just like I would make so definitely up to a good standard. Fantastic service the staff was accommodating, welcoming all in one. I went with friends. We got fresh food and juices. The nutmeg syrup was great and the Mexican style eggs I believe with salsa and cheese. Chocolate chip pancakes 👌. We went on a Sunday pretty close to closing time.
Kairos M — Google review
Really wonderful host Wayne, he was very kind and humble, so was the rest of the staff. They're open Thursday - Monday, so we caught them on their last open day on our trip, with Saturday and Sunday having a breakfast buffet as well. Now let's talk about the food! I had "The House Special", If you were wondering if these pancakes and waffles were as dry as some restaurants in Trinidad, they're not! This is easily one of the better pancake breakfasts I've had! All of the combos we had started us out with fruit first! There was this sampling of tomato, cucumber, and lettuce to ensure you have a complete meal, tasted like it was marinating, so it wasn't just plain cucumber and tomato chopped up. The Bacon was restaurant quality, scrambled eggs were on point, the pancakes ofcourse, were the perfect consistency, topped with some local bananas, i wanted to keep going but soon realized that my plate was empty, and everything had flavor! We will definitely be adding this to our "do again" list for Tobago

A little quaint home-in-the-middle-of-work type of setting, this restaurant was a great place to have Bago breakfast with a hint of international palate. Everything was cooked to perfection and the surprise was how well the different items tasted together. Another must-try when in the Trini Sister Isle of Tobago 💯

I went on a Sunday which was extremely busy and packed, however space opened up at a reasonable time so the wait wasn't unbearable. I tried the pineapple and coconut pancakes with eggs and sausage however, the pancakes we're a bit burnt at the bottom, everything else was good and the portion size was great, left satisfied overall.

Affordable, fresh and delicious! The service oriented disposition of the owners and the staff are the stars here, on equal weighting with the tasty, fresh food. My coconut bake wedges were light yet had enough body to hold the buljol. Some tend to fall apart or be too heavy- not this one! They were just 50g each and did not leave me with a heavy feeling after breakfast. The buljol was delicious. I wanted more! The fruit portion just right! If you’re interested the couple ensures all their non halal items are cooked separately.

Chef's BBQ is a good restaurant in Tobago, with great food and service. The food could be hotter, but it's still enjoyable.
Excellent local food! Had the stew pork, curry Goat, bbq chicken, pelau, and red beans. Very flavourful and tasty. Highly recommended.

Food was excellent. Great value for money lamb and fries was bussing and there sauces boosting the taste.
Christon G — Google review
After 35 years in the USA, returning to Tobago was a homecoming filled with anticipation. My visit to Chef’s BBQ with my family was a standout experience. The BBQ was exceptional, with the flavors and spices reminding me of the island’s culinary richness. The meat was cooked to perfection, offering a taste that was both traditional and memorable. The atmosphere at Chef’s complemented our family dinner beautifully. It was welcoming and embodied the spirit of Tobago, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. As someone who has returned to Trinidad and Tobago after many years, dining at Chef’s BBQ felt like reconnecting with a cherished part of my heritage. I would recommend Chef’s BBQ to anyone looking for authentic Tobagonian flavors and a warm, friendly environment.

The food tasted good, but the service was poor, felt like we were begging to get what we wanted. We had to ask and get one word answers for everything, no help or suggestions. If you very hungry and have no other option, sure you can try them.

Nice place to grab a casual meal. The place has good variety and the meals are satisfactory for the price. They have ample seating and the location is close to the airport and Store Bay. Only con for me is that there is no washroom or sink to wash your hands. The staff are very friendly and professionally dressed.

Initially I was a little taken aback when I asked the server if the “beef” was from a cow, and she responded, “more than likely”. However, the food was delicious! And affordable. I enjoyed everything on my plate, and almost got an additional plate to go!

The Pavilion Restaurant by Cup of Joe is a newly managed establishment that reopened in December 2023. The restaurant offers an exquisite atmosphere with a breathtaking view of the infinity pool overlooking the town below. The menu features international cuisine, including dishes like daily catch infused with light curry sauce and herb basmati rice, creamed bok choy, pasta, and chicken dishes.
All I can say is WOW. Everything from the greeting at the door to the end of the meal was perfection. The cocktails were exquisite, the pineapple and shrimp chow was the BEST I have ever had and not to mention the mahi mahi for the main. Absolutely show stopping and it may be the best fish dish I have ever eaten. The view out to sea is also beautiful and is perfect for families, couples as well as friends. Please give this gem of a restaurant a visit! you won't be disappointed. Thank you from the UK! <3

Blown away ! First time visit and had both dinner and brunch ! Chef Joe does a great job and his staff are the epitome of first class . Only recently opened and quietly tucked away at the Stonehaven villas . The infinity edge pool overlooking the property is breath taking with the option to swim ( preferably before you dine 😀) . Highly recommend . Affordable and elegant food and great portion sizes . No frills .

A rather uncut gem in the Tobago restaurant landscape. A beautiful, albeit high up location, lovely staff, and a culinary mastermind in the kitchen to back it up. I enjoyed the views, the local spins on gourmet dishes were inspired without pandering, and the ambience is next to nothing I know. Joe himself is always around to chat or crack a joke as well. Whether fancy night out, romantic date or memorable occasion, I definitely recommend

Well I finally made it to this amazing restaurant.. His Journey from TV6 to having his restaurant with his very own unique touch when it comes to preparing every dish.. The (3) course meal didn’t disappoint. Appetizers were delicious.. I had the jalapeño ribs with coleslaw it was very delicious the meat was falling off the bone, Main course was salmon and the size of the salmon 0MG it was huge, had me thinking did they look for a big slice for me 🤣🤣. Let’s talk desserts.. of course coconut ice cream is a must along with Cheese cake, Now let me tell you this wasn’t and ordinary slice of cheesecake. This is New York cheesecake and the slice was huge. I only ate half. To everyone at The Pavilion Restaurant I would like to thank you for a lovely evening. We had an amazing time the hospitality was warm. To Joel and his wife, thank you so much for having us. Will be back.

Service was very slow. Food was not worth the price. I don’t know why this place is ranked 4.0. Truly not one dish the group ordered was good.
Steve A — Google review
The views of the sea were breathtaking but unfortunately this view did not match the service offered at this venue. The waiter tried to be helpful but he was tremendously slow. For instance, when he served our cocktails, we were ready to order our appetizers then and there but he asked us to hold on for a minute, he disappeared for about 5 minutes, and then came back and took the order. The main course took approximately one full hour to be served (we were a group of 8). This may have been understandable if the restaurant was full, but the only other persons there was a couple. The food was not exceptional (I had the salmon) and the price point was average for a restaurant of this calibre. The ambiance was nice and the toilet was clean. Major pitfall though, there appears to be only one bathroom per gender at the restaurant. This was not an issue because as I said before the restaurant was basically empty, but I imagine on a busy day that might be problematic. All in all it was a fair experience. Not sure if I'd give it a second shot because the food took wayyyy too long to come out.

The restaurant Fairways Restaurant and Golf Club is a great spot for a meal, whether you're out with friends or family or looking to relax after a day on the golf course. The servers are welcoming and attentive, and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. The only downside is that it can be hard to get served quickly, but overall this is an excellent choice for diners of all levels of experience.
My food was delicious! I came with my family and we had a wonderful time. Our server was friendly and helpful! I ordered the chicken Alfredo pasta and it was out of this world. I was creamy and tasted fresh and homemade. Additionally, the wait time was significantly shorter than I expected, as my food came out less than 30 minutes after ordering. However, I believe that the establishment can use some renovations in a few areas. Overall, I will highly recommend.

My husband and I visited for our 21st wedding anniversary and we enjoyed every moment of it. From the moment we entered the door our waitress was inviting and very courteous. The Air conditioner was directly on me and she adjusted it making it comfortable for me to enjoy my delicious dinner. My husband had the steak medium rear and they got it to perfection. I had the chicken with salad and potatoes. Our cocktail drinks was great and complimented our meal.

Went with a few friends to have drinks and it was lovely. Our waitress was very welcoming and catered to our every need with a smile. Place is located in the Tobago plantations, went there for a couples dinner to celebrate my birthday. Definitely was a great choice for our romantic dinner. The service was great. We were greeted with friendly staff. Our server's name was Amaya and she was really helpful, in our entire stay at the plantation, her service and kindness was the best we received. They have a beautifully decorated area to take photos. Food didn't take long to get to the table, the options were great...was easy to choose from. Every dish we had was absolutely delicious. I had the Lobster Thermidor it was the best dish off all....they had a sale on a couple drinks, so we tried those...they were also yummy. The manager was very lovely, friendly and kind. We totally recommend them to everyone, you must visit.

Had dinner here last night for my wife’s birthday. Made a reservation earlier in the day as the kitchen closes at 9:00pm. When we arrived we were the only ones there but by time we left a small crowd were seated. Our server was pleasant and attentive and made sure to congratulate us on our recent nuptials on several occasions. Food was good and reasonably priced for being close to a major hotel and on a golf course. Mojito was good as well.

My first time having food at Fortune Chinese restaurant. The experience was pleasant in terms of customer service and time waiting for my food. I ordered 1/4 Chinese style chicken and a 1/4 butterfried chicken. The homestlye Chinese style chicken fit the bill presentation wise and packed a lot of flavour especially with their sauce poured over it however the butterfried chicken did not stimulate the visual senses and was fair in terms of taste.

Despite the social media buzz, our experience at Dreamsicle was unfortunately marred by poor customer service, overshadowing the decent quality of the food. Our initial attempt to dine on a Saturday morning, shortly after arriving in Tobago, was met with disappointment. Although there were visible empty seats, we were informed that a reservation was required. While initially understandable given the restaurant's popularity, this set the tone for a less-than-welcoming experience. After a week of enjoying exceptional dining experiences elsewhere in Tobago, we decided to give Dreamsicle another chance on a Thursday morning before our departure. Regrettably, this visit confirmed our initial impression regarding their service. We were greeted by a noticeably unenthusiastic staff member who seemed disinterested in being there. This lack of warmth continued when our breakfast order – avocado toast with egg, two pancake and bacon orders, and French toast – arrived without any silverware. This oversight, while minor, was compounded by the dismissive response we received when we approached the same young lady for assistance. Instead of quickly rectifying the issue, we were curtly told that our server would bring it. Even after requesting her direct help (as she appeared to be free), she insisted on the same unhelpful response. Thankfully, another young man promptly provided us with silverware. Our server did apologize shortly after, but the initial rudeness had already soured our dining experience. This was undoubtedly the worst customer service we encountered during our entire stay in both Trinidad and Tobago. While the food itself was good, it didn't stand out as exceptional, especially compared to other excellent breakfast options available in the area. Considering our overall experience, the significant shortcomings in customer service prevent me from recommending Dreamsicle.
Sultan C — Google review
The staff is wonderful, had no complaints there however it appeared as though they were understaffed the day we were there . I assume that's what factored into our long wait time for food. 1.The food is tasty but my oh my if you are famished eat before you go 😂, the portion size in comparison to the price I would say was ridiculous. 2. There are additional taxes that are not stated on the online menu and additional cost for specific items also not stated on the online menu 3. When we arrived our server didn't inform us that the menu was online and that we needed to scan it, they just assumed that we would read the sign that was the tables center PC 🤷🏾‍♀️. 4. The entree portion vs the single portions don't make a difference so order by the portions it would cost less for eg my entree was the catch of the day cost $140 ttd plus tax and if I ordered the same thing in separate portions it would have cost me $100 ttd plus tax . I don't mind spending but it must be worth it in my humble opinion. 4. I like the fact that the server will take your pics for you and also the fact that they allow you to pick from the fruit trees on the compound with assistance, I really liked that. 5. The place itself is beautiful 😍❤️ so gorgeous I'll add pics of what we got altogether ... Watch the plate with the fish and you'll understand what I said that's the entree and the other pics were separate portion items. The most generous of the servings was the garlic bread. The shrimp serving per portion was 4 shrimp not even 6 the charred broccoli , 😔 the pics don't lie. The chicken serving was the one breast, and the other bowl is the hash browns...
Allison Q — Google review
I visited them for my birthday last week, it was quite good breakfast. Pancakes💯Service was great, the area was just so nice, quiet and chill. I recommend. Only thing, they forgot 1 thing I had ordered but I told the server it was okay hence I didnt want to wait to eat on that one thing. Also they can decorate the place with more flowers and have it real pretty looking.

Loved this spot. The young ladies who served us were as pleasant as ever. The ambiance is laid back and airy, it's clean and beautiful; set up on a watermilll grounds with fruit trees all around. While we were there we saw a Motmot just chilling in the pomerac tree, the five finger tree was laden with fruit, just beautiful. The food was top tier and the portion sizes were very good, their fruit drinks tasted like they were made with the actual fruits not artificial concentrate. They also had little conversation starter cards on the tables which I found was a very special touch. Will definitely visit again when we're in Tobago.

I already left a review about Enchanted Waters, which I will attach below. Patinos is the bar and restaurant attached to Enchanted Waters. The service is amazing as well as the food!!! Keisha the bartender was so nice and friendly! Truly a joy to be around! The chef was also veryyyy funny and sooo accommodating. We ordered food right before they closed and he stayed until we actually got back to the restaurant to ensure our food didn't get cold!!! We thought he would just put it in a to go container! Enchanted Waters Review: I have been here twice. Both times were good but the most recent time was absolutely amazing. THE FOOD IS AMAZING. THE STAFF REALLLLLY TAKE CARE OF YOU AND ARE SO PERSONABLE. There is an older woman who works here who really cares for the guests and ensures they get around safely! Keisha, the bartender is amazing! I am a born and raised New Yorker, and a serious pizza snob. And this pizza was honestly pretty good! We ordered a cheese pizza and the sauce wasn't too sweet, cheese was in the right proportion. Crust style was thin but with a nice amount of chew.

I’ve only called ahead to place take-away orders. The staff has always been pleasant, and they keep the boxes warm in insulated bags until you arrive to collect. The pizza dough is light, flavours are on point, and toppings ratio is good.

We enjoyed two super italian pizza and very friendly staff. Time till delivery was quite fast, this for a fresh made pizza! We enjoyed it very much here. Unfortunately there was no table free outside and we site inside, where also meet the very friendly chief. It was also very clean and we liked the casual atmosphere. Strongly recommend when you are in crown point.

My Husband and I love this place. We buy here every single time we visit Tobago. Their pizza has been consistently good since we've been buying for over 2 years. I reccomend the "It's All Greek to Me"pizza and eating it soon after it's out of the oven ensures the best experience. Usually we call ahead to order to minimize the wait as they're quite popular. We love that we can just come from the beach and have a seat outside to eat.

Housed in a charmingly converted cocoa house, this restaurant serves lunch and dinner by reservation only, ensuring an intimate atmosphere. The ingredients are sourced from the surrounding forest or caught fresh from nearby waters, making every meal a true taste of the region.
Great spot and amazing service! Close to pretty much everything you could want out of a trip. The pool was really nice and the benches around the pool offered an area to chill if you don't want to go in. 10/10 no notes!

Location and price is ideal. Popular food areas and restaurants literally minutes away. Beaches are within walking distance as well. Staff at front desk is friendly and courteous. They always answer the phone and is extremely helpful. Rooms are mostly clean, but the bathroom is a bit small. Love the little kitchen area as well. Had just enough of kitchen ware needed for a short trip. Oh and the pool is a big plus! Pool is kept clean and is big and deep enough.

My family and I have been staying at Rainbow Resorts for years, instead of staying with family in Tobago. The rooms are always clean, fully stocked with kitchen appliances and dishes. Fully air conditioned. Close to a lot of beaches, food places and the service is exemplary! They always try to make sure you're comfortable and they're understanding of every situation. The pool is lovely, clean and clear! Of course sometimes there will be hiccups, but it is always rectified immediately when informed about. I don't see myself stopping using their accommodations anytime soon!

This resort is less than 3 minutes from the airport and a nice place for a quick visit. The rooms are cozy and fully stocked with all amenities (pots, pans, utensils for cooking). Rooms are air conditioned and equipped with cable TV. The WiFi is lacking as connectivity is intermittent and the speeds are super slow. The resort also has a pool and ample parking with a car rental service. There is also access to many food places mere minutes away. Sep 2023: I am happy to report that the WiFi has been vastly improved during my most recent visit. I was able to login and get work done remotely without the past issues experienced. Updating my rating!

Generally good for the ppl who are out and about and reasonable financially. However, the bathroom is tiny especially for a family staying in, the bathroom mat was tiny and old my feet is bigger than the mat. So the whole area gets wet everytime. Then the mop we got is older than my great grandmother. There was no broom to sweep your rooms since you are coming in and out and on top of that there were no mats by the beds. The porch area needs some improvement the artifical plants are dirty and old not welcoming to sit there to have a meal. It is better to sit around the pool instead. I got no wifi or password. I had my data on phone so I made no big deal out of it. As a first time visitor your customer service was great in terms of booking the reservation and attending quickly to the fridge leak. But I will stay again and try the upstairs if the bathroom is bigger. As for the pool some of us like bathing in the night. Since during the day there are always ppl, you would hope to get some time with your family alone for a few hours thenpool closes at 9pm. Thank God we rather go out exploring Tobago than pool swimming. Please try improving the rooms.

Says Restaurant, not even a school cafeteria. The food was so bad, been sitting in metal trays for hours, overcooked in every sense. Beer was cold which gets it a one. The level of service and food quality is just not acceptable. Standards need to improve.

The prices vary and I don't know why so sometimes a meal will cost $50 and another day the same meal will be $80. In addition to that, ordering via the phone may not guarantee you get what you order. Who puts chicken and tofu in a small box with noodles? I asked for a 2 meals and got all in one...

Whether you're planning a family outing or a romantic evening with someone special, La Cantina sets the perfect ambiance for any occasion. Good pizza and good service. We ordered large mushroom and shrimp pizzas, both good. Would recommend.

Each time I visit Tobago I usually go eat at La Cantina. However this time I found the pizzas a bit tasteless. At least service was good and I was happy with my drinks. I got a Sorel Rhum Punch and a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. Until next time la Cantina.
Lawrence — Google review
Let's start by saying they have the Best Italian Pizzas by Far.... The restaurant can definitely do with some upgrade to uplift the Ambiance and their Service was extremely slow. Had to wait a little bit long for simple things like beers. But overall it's always a good experience at La Cantina Tobago.
Visham R — Google review
The food and service is always exceptional when I go to la cantina. However the outdoor section comes with tiny friends that buzz around your food and tried to suck your blood. From mosquitoes, moths to flies. They had it. Next time I am walking with my bug repellant. The food was soooooo great I didn't even get a chance to take a pic. I just snapped the drinks.

It was my first time visiting Tobago with my partner, and we decided to stop by La Cantina — and honestly, I was amazed! From start to finish, it was a 10/10 experience. The pizzas were absolutely delicious, each one full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The staff were some of the friendliest I’ve ever met — so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. I truly believe the gentleman who attended to us was the manager, and if so, he’s doing an excellent job. His professionalism and warmth made the whole dining experience unforgettable. I’d recommend La Cantina to anyone visiting Tobago — it’s one of those places that leaves you smiling long after you’ve left. I was wowed, and I can’t wait to go back! 💕🍕🌴
Flowers.In.a T — Google review
La Cantina has a nice and casual ambiance and friendly staff, but I found the pizza to be just average. The ingredients seemed okay, but the flavor and texture didn’t quite stand out compared to other places. Ingredients a bit sparse. It's a decent spot if you’re in the area. Parking is available, and there are outdoor and indoor dining options

Service and pizza quality have definitely dropped since management change. The best pizza in Tobago still. Would recommend but it's not as it used to be long ago.

Wanted a milkshake and La Cantina came up as an option in the Store Bay area (Cones and Coffee was closed..). Can't rate their pizza even though that's their main offering, but milkshake was a disappointment. Too watery to be considered an ice cream based product. Chocolate tasted okay, but Papa Smurf you definitely can skip...

Restaurant
Kariwak Village and Holistic Haven is a relaxed hotel in Trinidad & Tobago, known for its unfussy rooms, pool, and free beach shuttle. The hotel's legendary restaurant and staff are as renowned as Robinson Crusoe himself. It boasts an award-winning 2-acre garden with tropical shrubs and flowering trees where holistic activities like yoga, Tai Chi, and meditation take place.
I went back in December 2022. I’d like to go back sometime soon and here’s why. Staff:All of the staff and the owner were nothing but amazing and lovely. They always did above and beyond especially for the Christmas celebrations. Hotel room:The room itself was so unique and cool! And every single day it was cleaned to perfection. Food:The food they’ve provided us with especially for breakfast was always made fresh to order and was so delicious. Airport: The airport is walking distance from the hotel. No car needed to get there! Area: For restaurants, shops and the beach, all were walking distance as well from the hotel. I’d like to give a shout out to the staff again. They really made the trip to to Tobago the best and unforgettable experience.

Whenever I come to Tobago, I make it a point to come to Kariwak at least for breakfast. The home made yogurt and fried fish with toast are my favorites and their cocoa tea is simply the BEST. Also, if you’re looking to have a solo retreat in nature but want to be steps away from the action in Crown Point, I highly recommend their garden rooms, which are quiet and put you in direct contact with the plants. The free yoga offering is a nice touch and the staff are all really lovely humans. It’s a 5 - 10 minute walk from the airport and about a 15 minute walk to all the restaurants in Crown Point so there’s no real need to rent a car unless you want to explore further afield.

We visited this charming little spot twice, first for early evening drinks, which were excellent. We returned the next day for breakfast, which was just okay, with the portions on the smaller side, though the service was good. All in all, we’d definitely return for drinks and would be open to trying lunch or dinner. The space is beautiful, so we’re also curious to see what the rooms are like, it may make for an interesting stay. They take cards and cash.

A beautiful Oasis in the midst of a commercial tourist hub. Rooms have a great balance of rustic and more standard hotel room fittings. The grounds are beautiful and give an island comfort. The restaurant has great ambience, the dinner menu wasn't intimidating but quite encouraging. The Fish meal we had was quite delicious, simple but well put together ingredients. The Iced Tea is a must try! The slice of Spice Cake was also very pleasant. My only complaint was that the meal was too expensive especially considering portion sizes. Feeling like I was being made to pay for the ambience and brand of the establishment.

We were very disappointed by our experience. We had first booked a trip on Expedia in April but had to postpone as I got sick. We were able to get all other bookings rescheduled free of cost but this wasn't possible at Kariwak as it was through Expedia. We contacted them to see if we could get a discounted rebooking directly. They offered a very small discount for our trip in May. We ended up booking the stay. When we arrived we were disappointed that they weren't even able to give us the Garden room which we had first booked for in April. When your hotel is mostly empty, it would have been a good gesture to offer the better room for guests who had paid twice. Not necessary but a good gesture. The hospitality at the hotel seemed very fake and not welcoming. Like nobody actually wanted to work there. Our experience only got worse after. While the room and surroundings were beautiful, places where they cost cut were very visible to see. 1. They don't have shampoo offered in the rooms. When we asked for it, they only said that they never give shampoo. In a beach town, you need shampoo, especially when you have a pool in the hotel. 2. What's even worse is that they only give you free water bottles when you check in. Not for any other day you've booked. I've never seen that practice anywhere else. 3. Their "free" breakfast was sooo bad. The crispy tuna was bland and then there's toast and some yoghurt+granola. No variety, no self-serve option. For the amount you pay, it's not worth it. 4. They don't have free coffee sachets in the rooms. And the last thing that really annoyed us was that they have this ledge above the bed that stops you from sitting up in bed. We whacked our heads on it multiple times when we were going to lie down. It's a health hazard. Overall, it's just better to book a stay in an apartment nearby than spend to stay here.
Gokul U — Google review
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Kariwak. The location is quite convenient to the Airport, the beach and other restaurants and businesses. Kariwak also offers shuttle service to the beach. Kariwak is very beautiful both in the rooms and outside. The AC was very powerful, rooms were clean and no complaints with the water pressure. Outside was very relaxing, beautiful for taking pictures or relaxing by the pool or jacuzzi. They also have yoga and massages. The customer service was excellent. From Ingrid who picked up my family and I at the Airport. Josh our handsome bartender who was quite accommodating for breakfast and lunch. A very special hats off to Joel the all rounder who made our stay even more memorable accommodating my niece on her special day, organizing the staff to sing Happy Birthday for her 😁. Thank you Kariwak, we'll definitely be back.
Lynda-ann B — Google review
My stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, the compound was clean and well-kept. I don’t necessarily have an issue with the hotel not providing free teas and coffees in bedrooms because their prices are affordable and you can avail yourself to such items at the hotel restaurant for free. There is an area to relax in the garden with hammocks with the jacuzzi/pool nearby. The breakfast was decent, it included fish, eggs, toast, fruit, yoghurt and granola. The only criticism I have is that the hotel staff DO NOT answer the telephone/landline. Despite this, the staff members that I encountered and met were super helpful, kind, welcoming and warm. They extended themselves to assist and accommodate us as best as they could. I would definitely return again.

We tried to book in this place for dinner a few times, but it was fully booked. We end up going for lunch because it had really good reviews and it did not disappoint us. We ordered the “small” lobster (I would like to see the big one), and my girlfriend had the grilled shrimps as mains. We also ordered plantain chips and pasta pie. Everything was perfect and it came to the table just a few mins after we arrived to the restaurant. I guess it helps that we needed to order in advance, but it’s ok. Also, views were great and we would definitely come back, but next time will try to book in advance for dinner to see the sunset as it must be quite nice. Note that they only accept cash.

Lovely little place, only 5 tables, overlooking the sea. Limited menu, but then you're only going to this place for lobster or fish. We had the garlic bread for starters, followed by a small/medium lobster, grilled fish, fries, wedges, corn cob, salad and coleslaw. The total bill came to less than 75 US dollars. You bring your own wine or beer, they supply glasses and an ice bucket, no corkage charge. Booking is required, but we only phoned the day before. Bear in mind you are sat right next to the sea, if it's windy, don't complain if you get wet. No credit cards. Don't leave Tobago with dining here.

Making a reservation, and preordering with Lynette was easy and is clearly helpful to a small sustainable business. The restaurant is in a great location with easy parking on Swallows Beach. The dining terrace is hidden from view from the roadside and is a great reveal. It is a really inviting, intimate dining terrace with a great atmosphere, right on the seashore. This is a great place to watch the sunset over the Caribbean and listen to the water lapping underneath. We arrived at 6pm so saw a breathtaking sunset over the returning boats and those setting out for sunset tours. The food was really fresh and delicious. We had catch of the day (dolphin/mahi mahi) and shrimp. Sides were plentiful and very tasty. The lobster arriving at the other tables looked amazing too and is great value. Lynette’s service was warm and friendly and efficient. We will definitely return.

Il Portico is a lovely Italian restaurant with amazing food and great service. The atmosphere is fantastic - perfect for a relaxing evening out. They have a great deck which makes it really pleasant to eat outside, but they also have comfortable seating inside if you prefer. The pizzas are some of the best I've ever had, and the salads are delicious too. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone travelling to Tobago.
Il Portico is now my fav Italian restaurant in Tobago. Don't be fooled by the small alley way entrance. When you enter either the indoor or outdoor area it's very comfy. The menu is quite impressive and we had a mix of pizza and pasta. Pizzas were fantastic and Pastas were awesome. The service was great and fast. I highly recommend this place to everyone. My recommendation for pizza will be the seafood pizza with the mussels, shrimp and calamari.

🍝 A Night of Mixed Emotions: Warm Food, Cold Welcome I rarely write reviews, but this experience left such a lasting impression—both frustrating and redeeming—that I felt compelled to share. We walked into the restaurant as a group of eight, excited and hopeful after reading glowing reviews and our kids were buzzing with anticipation for good-tasting pizza. But instead of a warm welcome, we were met with dismissiveness. The hostess immediately told us there were no available tables, even though four empty ones were clearly in view. I explained that I'd tried calling earlier to make a reservation, only to reach voicemail. She said the phone wasn’t working and was being charged—a surprising excuse, given that two other large families had somehow managed to secure seats. What followed was disheartening. Rather than trying to help, she spent nearly ten minutes criticizing me for not having a reservation, eventually snapping, “Well, just go find another place!!!!” I was stunned by the hostility. We almost left… but the children were so excited, and we didn’t want to disappoint them. So I politely asked in between the berating if I would be able to purchase for take away which she crassly and curtly told one of her staff members "just seat dem for meh!" The server who waited on us was a bright spot—kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was ok at best. Every dish was full of flavor and clearly prepared with care. What puzzled me most was how different this felt compared to a nearly identical situation we experienced in Trinidad. There, arriving without a reservation led to warm smiles and genuine effort to make space for us. Hospitality made all the difference. This restaurant has the potential to offer something wonderful—but kindness and accommodation are just as important as good food. I hope the owner takes this into consideration.

The hostess was very rude to us upon walking in. We were a group of 8. She told us there were no seats available. (There were 4 empty tables which we saw upon walking in). She told us we needed to make a reservation. (I called earlier in the day but the phone went to voice mail. Apparently they said the phone was not working and was now being charged. How did the other 2 large families sitting, eating make reservations??). She berated my wife for 10 minutes before telling her "Well just go and find a place". (We found a place). Why did we stay?- We had kids that were really looking forward to italian food. We saw great reviews on HungryBelly. We thought it would be a nice time. The food was great. The guy serving us at the table was great.

Really enjoyed their selection of pizza. I would consider it a quaint spot and not for a large crowd but definitely some awesome stone oven pizza. Btw they don't provide you with ketchup but it's all good given the Italian authenticity they're aiming for.

The Wonky Windmill Restaurant & Bar is a small local eatery situated conveniently in the lower section of Pigeon Point Road, just off the primary Milford Road. It is known for serving an impressive hog roast on select Sunday evenings. The restaurant operates from 9am to 10pm Tuesday through Saturday, and remains closed on Sundays and Mondays. Patrons can expect delightful surprises when it comes to the food, with standout dishes like exceptional pasta and flawlessly prepared crispy skin pork.
Hands down the best food I ate while vacationing in Tobago. Owner was exceptionally accommodating and our food was delicious. I do recommend making reservations as it will be worth it.

I don't believe in 5 star ratings because nothing is perfect but this place was surprising to me. Everything from the food to the waitresses (Alinia) service was above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend visiting this place when in Tobago. Two thumbs up 👍🏽👍🏽

My family of seven adults visited this amazing restaurant yesterday. The food was exceptionally tasty, delicious and very filling. The service was on point. The waitress was so attentive. This is the second time I visited this lovely restaurant. I would advise anyone to visit. The ambience was so relaxing and cosy.

First time dining here for breakfast . I do enjoy these quaint restaurants this part of town where there are several different ones in this cluster , so unassuming but yet delightful . Overall a sumptuous food and experience . A mix of both international and local items . Great vibes , service and delicious hearty food . Will return again ! 💙

My experience was very welcoming. The owner himself came to greet us and converse which you don’t see much other places do. The food was scrumptious soul food which makes you feel at home. Will definitely recommend to anyone who wants to relax and eat.👍🏽💯

Great food and great vibes! I visited this establishment on a Saturday night. I was pleasantly surprised by the cosy decor. The customer service was on point. We got garlic bread with our order of shrimp and chicken Alfredo and those were amazing as well. Even the beers were the right temperature and my margarita was delicious. The karaoke was the best part of the night. We would definitely visit again.

For a little tucked away place, this place is Epic. The service was excellent, food was excellent, drinks was was on point. Its a bit of a wait however the food is freshly prepped. Everything was well seasoned and Hot when it came out. There is also a Karaoke session on Fridays. Definitely visiting here again.

It's the hidden gems that offer the best experiences. Went there to have a birthday dinner and was greeted by friendly service and a great ambience. Depending on what you order it may take a short while to be prepared. One plate was a lobster and another was a steak. But even though we had a wait we were fully entertained by the ongoing karaoke. Yes you can sing Karaoke while you wait for your food. Serving sizes and prices would be rated 8/10. The food was really amazing. Kudos to the restaurant. Would definitely be returning.

Traditions Bar and Grill at Pigeon Point is a must-visit spot in Tobago. It offers the best view of the famous Pigeon Point Jetty, making it a perfect place to enjoy delicious food and drinks while taking in the iconic scenery. The bar provides a great selection of reasonably priced drinks, although service can be slow during peak times. However, the friendly staff and amazing food make it worth the wait.
It's always a vibe here. Location: 10/10 on the most popular beach right next to the big jetty. Sunsets, people and accessibility are top tier. Food & Drinks: The food is 7/10, and it's a little pricey but not super bad. Alcohol options are endless, and the spicy mango shots ARE A MUST TRYYYYY♥️. Here are some things we order and the rating out of 10... Roast Pork (6/10), Grilled King Fish with a garlic finish (9/10), Curry Conch and Dumplings (3/10), Plain Fries (10/10) crispy and not oily, BBQ Chicken (8/10), Squid (4/10)......can't remember the other items. Vibes: ALWAYS have a vibe there, never been and it's dead. The music, seating available bar top, outdoor and patio type finish on the sand. Definitely recommend.
Shalini S — Google review
Great spot for drinks right on the beach but the food leaves a lot to be desired. No complaints about the drinks and can't beat the location as its right by the main part of the beach and the docks, but keep in mind you pay extra for the convenience. We ordered gira pork and fries, and their "famous" shell less crab and dumplings. Gira pork was actually pretty decent - seasoned and cooked well. Crab and dumplings were a big miss - tiny little bits of crab in a watery curry and thick under cooked dumpling - you're much better off getting the real thing in store bay with shell on. Both portions were small given price. Service, as to be expected, is slow and we waited about 45 minutes for our food - which would have been enough time to head to store bay, get food, and come back. Overall it's not a terrible option and if your looking for convenience or slam back some drinks on the beach this is the spot. If your looking for some truly delicious Trinbagoanian food you're probably better off heading somewhere else.

Nice beach bar, we came here a couple of times, good service, drinks, and food. I had the bake and fish, which was so good I ordered it again when we came back. There's a pool table in ok condition 5tt a game. I asked them to put the cricket on the TV and they did, which was a bonus. Worth stopping in for a drink or food if you're at pigeon point

For years we have loved the food at this establishment. Wide choices, short delivery time. Music to our taste. This year a slight hitch as the shark bites were very very burnt. Nonetheless we continue to enjoy the restaurant and all it offers. Kudos to the grilled barracuda.

Amazing, the music was on point a wide mix of old and new Pop, Soca, International, and Caribbean music and Artistes. The drinks were beastly cold, very reasonably priced, clean bathroom facilities and A/C. The DJ has a clear view of the crowd to keep the vibes PUMPING

Smaller dance club on the second floor with an outside balcony overlooking the main strip. Drink prices were always 10 TTD for Stag or Carib beers which is some of the best prices in the area. The music was a good mix of SOCA and Old School hip hop remix. Our group hit this place up a few times during our week long stay and we always gravitated back here for the good beer prices, music and people watching from the outside balcony.

Pirates Island Bar is a popular hangout and meeting spot for the local business and expat community. Located near Pigeon Point Road, it offers cold beers in the evening and has recently introduced catering with a focus on Indian dishes. The bar also provides a chill vibe with good music, friendly staff, and well-priced drinks. Additionally, it features amenities like a pool table and is known for its welcoming atmosphere.
A cold beer in the evening, here is a place to enjoy this. Unfortunately there was nothing to eat, but this is not a problem if you like pizza. Not ten meters away is a pizzeria, this delivers to the pirate bar. ;-) The locals are all nice, so was also played snooker. Only the music is a little loud.

Good Eats is a cafe that prides itself on being polite, reasonably priced, and notably tranquil. It opens early enough to cater to those seeking sustenance before the nearby Rituals establishment opens its doors. While enjoying the food here, customers are encouraged to maintain a clean and serene environment by refraining from generating excessive noise pollution. One can appreciate the value of silence in this place. The fries are impeccable with their perfect texture and satisfying crunch.
Courteous, affordable, and most importantly quiet! This cafe is open before Rituals so it has eased my first flight hunger quite well. Patronise but don't pollute (with noise)! The silence is so precious

Bar Hop-in is a cozy sports bar and grill located in a charming garden setting near Shirvan Road in Mount Pleasant. Additionally, they offer private party options and occasionally host events like pig roasts.
Visited beautiful Tobago! Great owner who spent time with us, he had just recently taken over the spot. The food was good, the music and cocktails were delicious! Chairman of the F board was an amazing host... Food was terrible, had a chicken sandwich which was dry, the ribs were so tough we nearly asked for the knife from the kitchen to cut it and while the calamari was crunchy it was way too salty. For the prices they have they really need to up the quality they provide. The waitress was pleasant but it was a really disappointing evening.

The atmosphere was beautiful but the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered bbp pork ribs with garlic mashed potatoes and veggies. The drinks were okay, if I come back it would be just for a lime by the bar.

I am in Tobago visiting family and saw the Havana Bake and shark sign and was so glad that I did. I opt to get the shark bites over the salad and added the bake. It was so freaking good. The shark was flavorful. The salad was fresh and the bake was delicious, I can’t wait to return to Havana!

Trinidad and Tobago bake and shark with a dine in fast food experience. Havana is located on "The Stretch" in crown point in a convenient location from almost all the popular guest houses and hotels in tobago. It is 5 mins or less driving from the popular beaches Store Bay and Pigeon Point. The building has shared parking for up to 4 cars and if you are lucky you might get to a park. The restaurant dining while limited in capacity is definitely clean and functional allowing for food to be enjoyed on the spot. There is a bit of a wait as the food is made to order which allows for the best way to enjoy shark, fresh off out the pot. While they are limited in their toppings they carry all the classic sauces and prices are reasonable.

Good value for dinner for eight. The jerk chicken was nicely cooked, and the jerk pork was tender and moist. The garlic potatoes were also very good. The staff was patient with us, despite us changing our order partway through. The atmosphere is only a 3* because the smoke from the BBQ was blowing all over the seating area and ordering window.
