The ambiance and service at Restaurant le reflet are outstanding. Guests can savor delicious local cuisine, particularly the well-prepared Accra dish that is not overly oily. Additionally, this establishment excels in crafting delightful cocktails, with their planteur cocktail offering a unique blend of vanilla and coconut flavors that surpasses other competitors. Restaurant le reflet is an ideal spot to take a break while visiting Pointe Noir.
The waiter was kind, tried to communicate with us in English and service was excellent throughout the lunch. The food was very tasty. Big portions at a reasonable price.

This restaurant is a great place to eat an authentic Creole food, I recommend it. The waitress was very friendly and pleasant, she advised us about the menu. Accras was really tasty, even about main course (Loup de mer with rice and sauce chien) and dessert was perfect too. The Waitress prepared homemade guava juice, it was delicious! By the way, I’ve discussed with the chief and he is really nice and joyful. Moreover, you can easily park your car nearby in shaded area.

The atmosphere and service is superb. Here you can have a nice local dish. Accra is prepared well, without overload of oil. This place can also deliver good cocktails, planteur is more vanilla and coconut tasty than other places i have tried so far. Good place to have a break in once you are in Pointe Noir.

Le Mambo is a lesser-known dive site located in the Reserve of Guadeloupe. It offers an opportunity for diving enthusiasts to explore the underwater beauty of Pointe Mahault, Pointe Lezarde, Machette, and Pointe Malendure. Additionally, visitors can embark on a day trip to the Saintes archipelago and discover sec Pate, a shoal rising from 180m depth in the Saintes channel.

(Translated by Google) Lovely little restaurant offering a children's menu. Good goat colombo, although the meat was a little tough to chew (could have been braised longer to make it more tender), but the flavor was there! The homemade planter, really good! Totally off the beaten track, enter past the aviary and dodge the free-range birds zooming over your head. Excellent Creole cooking with an outstanding value prix fixe, which includes pre-meal punch, beer or vin ordinaire with the meal, and an after-meal digestif. Plézi is a welcoming establishment nestled in a heavenly environment along the Caillou River. The experience of enjoying a refreshing planter cocktail and indulging in delicious cod fritters amidst the pure waters of the river is truly enchanting. The cuisine offered at Plézi is generous, showcasing local flavors that exude a sense of familiarity akin to being at home.
One of the most magical bar settings I have ever had the chance to enjoy, right in the jungle surrounded by lush greens and gentle river. We were lucky enough to see a live performance of local legend Jean Michel Rotin too, a very uplifting and warm experience in a full bar with smiling locals reliving the 90’s Zouk wonder years 🙌 The food was delicious and the planteurs tasty and strong (as they should be) Highly recommended 👌

(Translated by Google) Visit during a concert. Superb setting, but be careful... For drinks and aperitifs we give you a menu with the prices. For the rest, we come and take the order without any card and any price!!!! The waitress is the menu, so she offers 4 dishes without any modification of garnish possible, so yam, some raw vegetables, sweet potato. No children's menu either. No possibility of taking away what's left on the plates, they don't do it (it's an obligation but hey) If you go to the toilet, it's in a house without a closed door, mixed and last night there was no paper, you enter a private house. Conclusion, if you want to have a nice setting and have a drink ok. For the rest, forget it, total scam. (Original) Visite lors d' un concert. Cadre superbe , mais attention... You can even swim in the river. Really worth doing again and again, especially when there is artistic animation. (Translated by Google) A beautiful and unusual setting. Unfortunately, this is the only positive aspect of this establishment. The food is catastrophic. The accras are bland. The rib-eye steak and sea bream are frozen, despite a fishing port being 10 minutes away. The rib-eye steak was white and boiled. (Probably due to poor quality and a griddle not powerful enough to sear the meat.) Note to one of the waitresses: it's entirely possible to have meat grilled and rare at the same time. You don't need to work in the restaurant business to know that. In short, for a drink, yes, but for a meal, no. (Original) Un cadre beau et insolite.

Sous les Tropiques, located in Gwada, is renowned for their exceptional Bokits. This eatery boasts a delectable menu that is sure to satisfy even the most discerning palate. With an array of mouthwatering options, Sous les Tropiques has established itself as a top-notch culinary destination. The food here is not only delicious but also prepared with utmost care and finesse.
Bokits were super tasty and really well cooked. Very friendly service and a lovely place for a quick meal. Don’t miss this one!

We were looking for a restaurant for supper but nothing was left open at 8 PM on a weekday expect those kind of truck food place (we were out of season). The terrace is really nice and the music gives it a nice atmosphere as well as the traditional "do it yourself" Ti Punch. However we found that the Bokits and Crepes were lacking some taste, it was a little bit "basic", no spice, no fruits, just fat and sugar. We were more on the comfort food side that you need after a day spent swimming. However the prices were quite low.

Upon arrival, two families arrived at Chez Jackye with exhausted children and minimal knowledge of the French language. Despite not being open for business, they were warmly received by the two women working there. Ensuring the well-being of the tired children, they provided them with cold water. Aside from the breathtaking view, what truly stood out was their exceptional customer service and kindness. The staff treated everyone as if they were family, catering to various dietary needs without any hesitation.
We arrived, two families with overheated, tired children, broken french. Eight people total. They weren't even open for business yet but... The two women there welcomed us, they made sure our children were ok and had cold water ready for them . The view is exceptional, there is no doubt about that. What really stood out to us was the kindness and exceptional customer service. We were taken care of as if we were family. The food was delicious and they had no problem accommodating varied diets. I'll never forget Jackye and look forward to visiting her establishment again.

Standard creole fare, at the top end of the price range for the bottom end of the quality. There's nothing wrong with the food, except the quality, quantity and expeditious service. Don't go if time is of the essence. The lack of any other dining opportunity in Pointe Noire and the lack of locals having lunch says a lot.

(Translated by Google) Know that if you want to eat at Jackye you must not be in a hurry, I think this is the condition to keep in mind to avoid disappointment. The restaurant is quite large, contrary to what you might think when passing by the road. A small, simple terrace with a sea view has its effect. The food is not exceptional, it is simple, and rather expensive. (Translated by Google) Disappointing. We took 3 "Creole Plates" dishes at 18€ each, a pittance, pitiful: the dish includes 5 mini accras, a leaf of salad, 3 tiny puddings, 2 half fish toasts and fine and hungry. Even for an aperitif it's insufficient. We accompanied this frugal meal with 2 Heineken 25cl (no local beer) and 2 ricles 25cl for the modest sum of €74.50, a joke. However, Jackie is friendly but completely lacking in culinary terms. The value for money is non-existent for this establishment. Go your way. Maybe we hit this restaurant on an unfortunate day, but it was definitely not a success. We ordered grilled fish and shrimp - should by at the core of a beachfront restaurant's repertoire - but the fish was over-salted, over-grilled and dry, the shrimp was just sad and ready for retirement. The service was very laid-back but nice and helpful.

Overpriced - ask for the price before you order, as prices are not indicated on the menu. big rip off. 6 euros for a tiny little glass of Coco punch, max 0.05 liter with a big ice cube. The same bottle costs 10 euros in the supermarket. Unfriendly guys at the bar.

Although the setting looks great, everything else wqs disappointing. Cold food, high price for low quality food, very poor service (keep repeating they have almost nothing available at lunchtime...). One of the waitress was nice, the other one (seems to be the manager) couldn’t care less. Up your game guys as you have a great potential given the location.

Thank you Caro for these great moments ❤️ (Original) Une super crêperie dans un lieu très authentique.

(Translated by Google) “Creole Breton crepe” or karozh&co. Sweet and savory Breton creoe with the sweets of Guadeloupe: blood sausages, marlin etc. etc. Without forgetting the salted butter caramel for dessert. The best. Caro and Marion. With a smile please! And in an enchanting setting facing the square under the trees, cool and well ventilated. In short, the right address! The best.

(Translated by Google) Very good cuisine. The mother is in the kitchen and the daughter is in the dining room. We ate very well. I recommend, much more authentic than the restaurants in Deshaies. Open for lunch, but not always in the evening.
