Perfection! The best meals we have eaten this year. Rather generous sizing also, including the sides which were just as exquisite. Kirsty waited on us and made us feel very comfortable. Looking forward to dining at Tides again! (Will aim a holiday around it!)

My 50th lunch with seafood tower, champagne, nice bottle of wine… not cheap for the two of us, yet the service was on point and seafood tower was not. Hot items were cold, prawns floury … just not a grand tower. But a great and up to date beverage list to ease the pain. 2nd visit as a mid-week dinner months after the last visit. 3 course menu; still floury prawns, my opinion overcooked but certainly rubbery duck and a creme brûlée that wasn’t set but had a nice sugar crust … generally three standard items for the kitchen… will I complain in front of my wife and daughter to ruin the night? Certainly not, a trained manager or waitress could have spotted that, or the pastry chef seen the custard. It’s a shame, just have to think hard to give you guys another go… especially for that a-la-carte price.

When there to celebrate both our birthdays. Had the seafood tower for 2. The Gold Band Snapper was cooked to perfection & the Humpty Doo had the best crispy skin & was cooked to perfection. The scallops with cauliflower purée were delicious. Very generous portions so we didn’t manage to finish our chips & salad. Good to see a seafood platter that is not full of battered or crumbed items. It also included mussels in broth, prawns, octopus & fresh oysters. Beach view was terrific & the service was fantastic. Highly recommend it.

This is our second time at this lovely restaurant. The views of Bullcock beach are beautiful and serene. The service is impeccable and we received such a warm welcome from the staff. Same lovely staff as last year (we’re from Melbourne) and so welcoming and friendly. We had the 3 course lunch special and the portions are generous and delicious. Highly recommended. We’ll be back.

We recently visited Tides resturant for my partners birthday. Not only was the view fabulous but the whole experience. We had the perfect table. The service was wonderful, by all staff. The food; what can I say, the best I've tasted, in fine dining. I believe it was the 2nd night for a new menu and it was next level. Thank you, we will be back and will remember this experience for years to come. Worth every penny!

I had the Eye Fillet, cooked perfectly (Med) and it melted in my mouth. My husband had the Rump Steak (Medium/Rare) which was also perfect. The sides were very generously portioned and the sauces, pepper for me and mushroom for him, were very tasty. We shared the Chocolate Bomb for dessert. OMG it was DELICIOUS. We thought it was all reasonably priced. The staff were very attentive. Our only negative comment is: the space looked a bit plain. Maybe some artworks on the walls would be good. We will definitely be back. Oh and bookings are recommended.

Wow! One of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The menu is so good, there is so much choice, and everything is seriously so well prepared with love. They must have a good team because it reflects in everything that came to my table. Thank you! I started with Oysters done 2 ways and the Lime Chilli was the standout. I chose the lunch special steak with red wine jus and handcut chips (they were so good). Deconstructed lemon meringue cheesecake for desert was amazing!! The in house meringue had that lovely chewy bite in the middle of the wafer. Hats off to you guys as the day was exceptionally busy and staff were run off their feet but so lovely. Make sure you book so as not to be disappointed.

Service was fantastic and food came out really quick which is handy with a toddler. Both our steaks were cooked perfectly, nice but wouldn't say best I've had. Shared a dessert which was tasty but hard to eat in the jar it came in. Would come back again.

The staff were so lovely, welcoming, and gave excellent recommendations. Every dish was absolutely delicious, and the desserts were amazing too we couldn’t fault a thing! We’ll definitely be back again soon.

We were beautifully accommodated by an awesome team of staff, even though we were a large table with no booking. The duck ragu was sublime - deeply intense flavours and the meat was melt in the mouth. Barramundi was amazing - in particular the veggie accompaniments were a meal in themselves. Steak was ‘banger’ according to the youngest in our group. Lamb Shanks were excellent. Porchetta was delicious. Fritters were great. Not a single complaint.

The meal was absolutely superb, the setting warm and comfortable, and the service truly outstanding. The young man serving our table was exceptional — incredibly accommodating, efficient, and clearly someone who will go far in life. The young woman who brought out our meals was equally impressive, adding to what was a seamless and delightful experience. Thank you for an enjoyable visit from start to finish.

A stunning establishment with hypnotic twinkle lights that light up the venue and draw you in at night. With prime location, it’s hard to walk past and not be drawn in during the day. Wonderful service, lovely selection of drinks both on tap and via menu. I got to sample a few different cocktails and each were made to perfection. The food was quite nice, we went as a big group so a few different things were tried and there were varied opinions across the group, but I quite liked everything I had. The music was quite loud and could be a little quieter as not everyone was there to party hard, like some other members of the community. But it is a place I would visit again and would recommend trying out.

Great view of the beach. Recommend you try this restaurant for lunch. Good selection of food and lovely view of the beach....get a window table. Food was delicious, good size servings. If you like desserts, they had a great choice, was all made locally and had generous servings for this delicious dessert. Staff were very good.

The Chicken Parmy paired with the House Red Wine🍷 and Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich were delicious. The live music made the evening perfect.

My search for the best traditional Eggs Benedict continues.. Why anyone would want Kale on Eggs Benedict is totally beyond me but its on the menu here. They are willing to edit and meal came through without the greenery. What has arrived is just lovely. A crisp sourdough slice with good portion of packet smoked salmon and enough hollandaise for every bite. Eggs were a bit small and slightly over cooked but still enough of the gooey gold to make this a worthwhile stop. I would gladly return for the same at $25. Good atmosphere along the waterfront. Dog friendly. Plenty of seating options for the walk in or with a group. Friendly service happy to help. Tables were quickly cleared and cleaned. A good sign. The savoury mince and two poached with toast, served deconstructed. Egg and mince in a bowl. Dry toast to the side. Make your own. A little butter on the toast would go a long way. Mince was tasty but the poached egg just a little over cooked. For $22 this is a decent breakfast. Two flat whites for $11 but a common mistake. Flat white is just milk and coffee. No foam. It originated in Darwin where you couldn't get foamed milk anywhere. Please bring back an Australian tradition, stop the foam.

Immaculate vibes, I’ve honestly never ever had so much fun in a bar/club it was amazing everyone was just having fun together. The staff were fun and friendly, pizza was great and the drinks were reasonably priced and good. This is absolutely my new spot.

Was looking for a coffee, found Drift Bar. Nice spot across from the water. Friendly staff. Decent coffee. I wonder what the food is like? Things are well 👊🏻

We stopped in twice to get take away coffees. Bella served us both times. She was juggling taking orders, delivering orders and making coffees in such a professional and happy manner which is rare in this day and age. If you’re looking for a relaxed Bulcock Beach spot with outstanding service, ask for Bella — Highly recommended.

Thankyou to the lovely staff member who fixed a custom drink and made it perfect 👌 the sauce with the steak is perfection theres nothing like it anywhere else and I'd encourage others to give it a try you won't be disappointed. The Italian in me for whatever reason didn't feel not like steak for the choice when going to such a lovely Italian restaurant so while away, I got a taste of it though and had to come back a few night later and my friend and I both ordered it it was that good. They got their perfect cocktail again, and I had the most delicious house cocktail. Thankyou it's was all delicious and perfect. All of the food was amazing, but that steak and sauce 🤌 All of the staff were perfect level of kind and courteous with attention to detail and making sure everything ok while being helpful. As an ambulatory wheelchair user who uses a powerchair, it is often a nightmare going one for meals. I never know how staff will react to needing to make room for a large power chair and it "being in the way" for the first time in a long time I felt normal again despite being in my chair they just made adjustments and didn't change tone of voice, show it on their faces or any other way no annoyance at having to move things. Thankyou! Being able to just have dinner and enjoys it and not worry made it all the more perfect it should be standard but it isn't hence my writing all this, all the staff did all the right things please keep it up. Please keep being a safe and welcoming place for wheelchair/powerchair users there arent alot of safe places. I'm also having to eat gluten loved how gluten free friendly the menu was! I ordered their gluten free carbonara takeaway the first night then when going back a few nights later got it again because it was absolute divine creamy heaven 🤤 (I can not comment on the bathroom and if it is WC friendly as I never used the facilities)

So disappointed! $62 this cost.. takeaway. Staff were lovely.. but I would not recommend the food... many other choices in town. For a fancy Italian restaurant.. it was nothing short of expensive pub grub.

Our table of 4 enjoyed our dining experience. Arancini balls for entree- beautiful. We all enjoyed our mains. And the chocolate brownie for dessert was the best brownie I’ve ever eaten. Waitress was attentive and lovely. We’ll certainly visit again on our next trip to Caloundra.

I just want to express my admiration for this restaurant – it truly amazed me. The waitstaff were friendly and respectful, the restaurant itself was comfortable, and the atmosphere was so pleasant. Now I have to mention how incredible my meal was – absolutely delicious, juicy, and honestly one of the best dishes I’ve had in Australia. The trip from Brisbane to Amici Restaurant was more than worth it. We’re already looking forward to coming back! 💖

Nice moody restaurant with fantastic service. My rissotto was perfect and I got the feeling that the chef is a dessert chef based on our brownie that came out. Delish

A Hidden Gem for Authentic Indian Cuisine On a cool winter evening, my wife and I were craving some delicious Indian food and decided to try this restaurant. Although we were the only diners at the time, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff. The food exceeded our expectations — each dish was bursting with authentic flavour, beautifully spiced, and wonderfully fragrant. Every mouthful delivered a satisfying depth of taste that truly captured the essence of Indian cuisine. This place is a hidden gem, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine and delicious Indian dining experience.

I have returned after years up north and was so pleased to find Indiyum still operating in Caloundra. Again a fantastic meal.. goat saagwala. Goat is the best meat in a curry and it was mouthwatering tender. Until next time ..all the best.. thankyou

Very impressed with the food here. Actually one of the best eggplant curries I've had & I've had a few both here & in India. Well spiced, order it hot & you will get it! The basmati rice was done well too.. fluffy & separate. Very attentive, unobtrusive service

It has been a couple of years since I have been in Caloundra and had Indiyum’s delicious food. As always it was great! I ordered online and; as I was staying nearby, it was great to receive a text letting me know it was ready to pick up.

Very disappointed. Food was not to the standard I expected. Very little meat/fish and far too much sauce. The samosas were tasteless and expensive. The onion bhaji was the worst I have tasted. The tandoori chicken was too dry and appeared to have food colouring. Overall over priced and disappointing. We once owned our own Indian restaurant.

A great venue for catching up friends and colleagues. I love that they have plenty of parking, charge banks if you need them and I get a kick out of their robot plate collector, he's so cute. Took me ages to get a decent photo and video of him, he's fast! The staff are super friendly and the cafe is comfy. They even have a Sunshine Coast Monopoly game.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and meals- kids loved there penne pasta 🍝 only thing minor complaint, we were just visiting the area and would recommend the front staff at entrance to be more welcoming by offering to give details to find your way around the big Club- like finding the restaurant. $18 parmy night Tuesdays

Caloundra RSL is a wonderful spot for a meal and a great time. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed outing. The standout feature was the fantastic kids' room. It’s such a thoughtful addition, allowing adults to enjoy a little quality time together while the kids have fun. Highly recommend!

Went there for a meal and were pleasantly surprised by the menu and availability at 2 pm. Ghe staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Food OK. Staff rude and unprepared for customers despite not having reserved plaques on tables. BUT. Richard, the waiter from Viva deserves 5 stars and a great tip. The best, most friendly, most passionate server I’ve ever had the pleasure of being served by. Richard deserves a raise, especially when considering his work ethic compared the the rest of the dismal restaurant staff.

Disappointing Experience at ViVa – RSL Caloundra 2 November 2025 We dined as a group of 12 (3 families, including children) on Sunday evening. The menu has recently changed, and I specifically chose the Chicken Breast because it did not mention coming with the “bond” (unlike the four schnitzel options, which clearly stated it was included). I don’t eat the bond, so I assumed this dish was plain. Unfortunately, the chicken arrived with the bond. When I pointed this out, the waitress removed the plate, spoke with the manager, and returned to apologise, explaining it was a menu error. They offered to refund the $26 and have me reorder a different meal which would take 20 minutes. This was not a practical solution. I would have to wait while 11 others at the table ate, or they’d have to pause their meals. I chose not to escalate in front of the group, especially with children present, but the handling was poor. The refund has not yet appeared in my account (and was advised it may take days), and the replacement option cost $27 meaning we effectively paid more for the inconvenience. Feedback to management: • Update the menu to accurately reflect what’s included with each dish. • Train staff to offer immediate alternatives (e.g., a plain chicken option or a complimentary replacement) rather than a delayed reorder. • For large tables, consider prioritising resolution to avoid disrupting the group. We’ve always enjoyed the RSL, but this experience was frustrating and poorly managed. Hope this can be improved for future diners.

Went for a meal last night with my family, food was Beautiful best steak I've had in a long time! our waitress was so friendly and professional. Toilets were Beautiful! well done guys!

A great coffee shop with a great selection. We had iced lattes, a croissant and a brownie. Croissant was warm and fresh. Brownie was fluffy but still rich like you would expect coffee was well done too. Seating was nice we chose to sit inside with a view of the ocean. There are some seats outside by the road too. Easy access to the playground across the road

My partner and I came here while I got a coffee they have plenty of milk friendly alternatives and she enjoyed some delicious drinks. We were celebrating our 1 year anniversary on Thursday night, and it did not disappoint! The service was above and beyond, the drinks were fantastic, and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. The design of the bar is beautiful – it really does live up to the name Pocket Bar. Thank you so much for making our night special! 😊

It was such a lovely café! I ordered a chai latte and pancakes 🥞 it cost $38 though! 🤣 The atmosphere was really nice, and since it was a public holiday, there were so many people.❤️ There’s limited parking, so I recommend coming early! By the time I finished eating around 7:30, lots of people were already waiting for parking spots.😅

I tried both the hot and iced coffee, and they were absolutely delicious—rich in flavor and perfectly brewed. There are plenty of seats available, both indoors and outdoors, but it’s worth noting that it can get busy depending on the time of day. Restroom facilities are also available, making it a convenient stop during a day out. It’s the perfect place to grab a coffee, soak in the laid-back vibe, and then head to the nearby beach for some fun in the sun. Highly recommended for a coastal escape!

Had breakfast at The Pocket Espresso Bar and tried the taco — it was fresh, tasty, and nicely done. The coffee was great too. The place has a chill vibe, friendly staff, and a nice beach feel. Definitely a good spot to start the day.

$75 for two, for a very basic breakfast and still hungry afterwards. Avo on toast very underwhelming, more salad than avocado and tiny pieces of toast. Scrambled eggs with bacon were good but not worth $32. Great coffee, won’t come back though.

Lots of gluten-free options, which is great for coeliacs. I had a big Kahuna burger, which was very nice. Can definitely recommend and will be back for sure.

I had bought the junior beef burger meal. Normally I love getting this meal from hello harrys but tonight the meat patty is very burnt and the chips are cold and extremely salty

Hello Harry’s Caloundra is my go to for burgers. I always get great service and fresh delicious food. The atmosphere is buzzing and the staff are always helpful and friendly. I highly recommend you try hello Harry’s you won’t be disappointed.

Drove the block twice looking for a park, but my lord, this is the best Burgers and Wings I've had in a long time, if not ever! The Harry's Ale was very tasty also! Highly recommend

The staff at Hello Harry’s Caloundra are amazing. Always friendly and welcoming. The food is fresh and tasty. I don’t go to any other burger place as the quality at Hello Harry’s is always exceptional. If you haven’t been I highly recommend you go and try them out.

Called ahead as my partner had severe allergies to see the food menu as it wasn’t displayed online. Girl on the phone wasn’t able to show me or tell me about the food menu and that I should just come down and find out. Not at all helpful if we aren’t able to eat there. Yet I took the leap, ginger beer and session ale were average. Customer service atrocious. Different girl to the phone was serving at the bar. Miserable. No hospitality at all. Warm glasses. Saving grace was the food; panzanElla salad was fantastic and brisket and fish tacos to die for! Gentleman in the kitchen was great, made and served our food.

Great beers. Great food. Great views. Great staff. What's not to like! There is a great range of beers, that should meet most people's taste. I had the crisp ale, which was satisfyingly mild and quaffable. And we had barramundi fish and chips that are 10 out of 10. I would highly recommend a chillout beer and meal sitting outside admiring the view. Would I come back? A resounding YES!!

Burgers were amazing! They were generous with the portion and seasoning on the fries. The cheese burgers were saucy and mustard forward which I loved. Overall a great venue with inside and outdoor undercover seating, it is within a stones throw from the water.

Absolutely loved our visit! The brews and food were on point! Jacob and Maya were the best and thumbs up to chef for the best buffalo chicken we've ever tasted! Writing this review as I finish my vino and vacate the booked table. Actually had a beer here a few years ago when we wandered over from Kings Beach but first time eating here. Solo dining tonight on a work trip and I’m so happy I didn’t opt for takeaway in the accomodation. Opted for early dinner after a stroll on the beach and arriving at 530 pm the place was half full and they could offer one bar table with a 640pm booking, perfect. Got the Wednesday Steak deal, which was honestly one of the best tasting and cooked steaks I’ve had in ages. Plus a glass of house white…for $29 bucks. Bargain. And the staff are amazing. Highly recommended and highly recommend you book - they have turned so many walk-in’s away. Seems the locals know where it’s at 😉 nice work guys

This place has really got the goods! Reservations required as they are always full, food and service are excellent.

This is a photo of the lunch time fisherman’s basket. We came for dinner about 2 months earlier and loved it, the service and food was spot on. So we were extremely surprised when we got the complete opposite experience. The fisherman’s basket was tiny, please see photo attached. When we paid separately I was charged for another meal that was already paid for. I didn’t notice until nearly home, when I return half hour later the manager was not helpful at all and when another staff member confirmed my story, he scoffed and said “just a simple mistake” I wasn’t happy and will not be back.

Been there in May twice as friends talked it up. 1st visit; the only white wine (Riesling Hugel $114) with a listed vintage turned out to be the wrong vintage - note: don’t trust a super dirty beverage list. 3 dishes weren’t available which we found out AFTER the kids ordered. Friendly but a bit overwhelmed and inattentive service. The two guys behind the bar were more concerned about their mobile phones than sending us a waiter. Not once got our wine glass refilled. Food was tasty, frozen peas must have been in “season” and on every dish. And WHY cheap cheese out of a package on pasta and risotto??? 2nd visit; lovely waitress, same food issues (peas n’cheese) still same dirty beverage list with loveless scratched out items that weren’t available, yet, wife and I had a kids free lunch and enjoyed the sun ($200+) … stupid us wanted to really enjoy ourselves and ordered dessert at 15:10 just to be told the kitchen had left at 14:30… no warning, no heads up, nothing… guess it was our fault … Yes, the manager/owner “offered” to make us something but come on… Twice in a months rather disappointing…

We attended tonight 12/10/25 and after reading mixed reviews I was eager to see how this restaurant faired. I’m happy to say we had the best experience. Staff were absolutely amazing, credit to James and Eliza, knowledge of menu and attentiveness was great. Then the food…. Incredible we had the lamb and marina (not actually called that —-sorry) along with Belgian chocolate cheesecake. Thank you for creating a lovely experience and delicious food. (Only thing is food was super quick not necessarily a negative but maybe just ask ppl when are they ready for the food) thank you again

Beautifully presented and flavoursome food. Great prices, with wide and variable choices for food, wine and drinks. Service was impeccable, with a warm atmosphere and lovely water views. Certainly will be back.

Went for a meal today with partner & his Mum. Can't recommend this place highly enough. James and all other Staff were really friendly & welcoming, very helpful & patient and they went the extra mile for a wee surprise for my partner's Mum, which was absolutely wonderful. And the food .. divine!! We left feeling happy, very full-tum satisfied & with big smiles. We will definitely be back and Thank You again to all of the wonderful staff 😊

Stopped for brunch Fast friendly service from Irish wait person best part of this experience Nice view but noisey traffic close-by ( sunday ) Smell of paint fumes from venue downstairs a bit sickening and distracting from experience not the restaurants fault but don’t sit on balcony Hubby liked chilli scrambled eggs with chorizo although I was disappointed with salmon x3 small pieces ,fritters - corn fritters more like a dry pikelet no taste bland no seasoning sauce on side saved it from being a total disaster I’ve had fritters before and these were nothing like them very disappointed restaurants usually know how to make a fritter because simple cafes can ! Small portion size too for $22.50 side salad meagre rocket and pickled diakon Two juices pineapple and cranberry ok Tap water on table warm surely some chilled table water at a restaurant a bare minimum ? $54 for brunch I’d say try somewhere else

The chef’s cut (we had rib eye with the bone) is really good! Even the chips are so tasty! The waiter was patient with us too.

The interior of the Greedy Gringo is super cool. Colourful art adorns all the walls. We ordered the burrito bowls. Mine was vegetarian with generous a serve of haloumi & fresh chopped vegetables & salsa. Only problem was flavour. Where was that Mexican spice hit?

Food is tasty. Staff are welcoming. The only bad thing is it cost me $20 to get 1 mini wrap. Honestly so overpriced at how much filling there was and how big it was. Still tasted amazing but just not worth how much it costs. Everything else, drinks as well, are so good.

My partner and I went out for dinner here on Thursday 28/08, we got the shares beef nachos and it was absolutely delicious!! The serving size was great too. Drinks were tasty. Bar staff are lovely and helpful.

We had a delicious takeaway meal this evening!! Servings were very generous! And tasty as usual! One of our favourite places to eat when we visit Caloundra!

Food is fantastic, we loved it. Service is decent and atmosphere is pretty awesome. Personally I’d definitely recommend for the average Mexican cuisine lover.

Coffee Cat absolutely lives up to the hype. The açai bowl was fresh, tasty, and great value for money — generous portions, vibrant ingredients, and all the good stuff you’d hope for. The location couldn’t be better, sitting right on the beach in the gorgeous hustle and bustle of Kings Beach. Perfect for a relaxed breakfast or a post-swim bite. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Great location right on Kings Beach. Carpark is next to it but gets packed out quickly. Food is decent. Super busy weekends. If your staying at the resort just next door this is the place to go lots of options.

In 2024 this cosy little Cafe use to have the best Sunday Roast Pork that was melt in your mouth and so meaty. Crackling, roast veges & a Yorkshire pudding.Sadly this year 2025 they havnt kept the consistency. Worst roast ever, different cut of meat, the round loaf. Recieved 1 kind of thick slice of pork which was 90% globby fat. No crackling and rest of the plate was full of veges. The pudding thing had a syrup in it that I'd never seen before, it was horrible and tasted like sugarsyrup was so sweet..I ate some of the pork fat thinking it was meat then left the rest of fat and ate the little bit of fatty meat that is shown inside the black circle I drew. I emailed the boss with pics who hadnt replied until I contacted Coffee cat on FB. She was not happy with me asking a reviewer what happebed to them at this Cafe when they said rhey had been discriminated against. I'll post her replies. I raved about this roast to everyone and gave it a great review. Waited with eagerness for a whole year to taste it again only to return to the holiday unit and spew what I ate down the toilet as I felt so sick from the gluggy fat.

Coffee is very sour - undrinkable. I wouldn't have a coffee there again. However, their chai latte is very good - creamy. Staff nice, atmosphere location good but loud music made us feel like sitting somewhere else.

I’ve just had a bad run here the last few days. I really wanted to email them directly but they don’t give contact details so sadly I have to complain publicly. The staff don’t seem to pay much attention to customers and are happy to make you wait to order for takeaway coffee. Then I decided to dine in and I ordered an almond croissant. It was really stale. Obviously not delivered that day. If they had at least warmed it up it may have been nicer. Then, an ibis jumped on my table and tried to steal it!! That of course is not the fault of the staff but they didn’t even notice or seem to care. It was another customer who helped me. It seems like there is no one in charge there, keeping an eye on things and making sure the staff are focused on customers and not just chatting and laughing with each other. The setting is great though and I may just be unlucky but I’ve visited there for 4 days and yet to get the sense that customers are anything other than an inconvenience. Happy to review/ remove this if someone can tell me who to actually send it to.

It was very busy being a Saturday between Christmas and NYE. We managed to find a car park a few streets away so it wasn't too bad. It took a while to receive our meal, but it was worth the wait. The nachos are a big portion and delicious. The tacos were also good. Awesome views from the restaurant.

Holidaying in Australia from the UK as a gluten free person what can I say..... The location is amazing, overlooking the beach and the food is awesome. We ate here 4 times in a 2 and half week holiday and were never disappointed. The GF options were amazing as were the normal options. During busy periods there was a bit of a wait but never too much. The staff are so friendly and helpful. If you are in the sunshine coast area and you're looking for a chilled informal setting you have to check it out as it is fab. ❤️

Had lunch at Kings Beach Surf Club and honestly, it was pretty damn good. I got the steakburger – super juicy, loaded with sauce, and the meat was surprisingly tender (not chewy like most places). The chips were golden and crunchy, just how I like them. The view is top-tier – ocean right in front of you, can’t beat it. Staff were really friendly, and the food came out quick too. No complaints at all. Great feed with a great vibe. Will definitely be back!

Me and my partner order the wagyu burger and we expect much more than we got. Don’t try to sell wagyu beef if you don’t know what wagyu is or how to cook it. Nice views over table 19.

Lined up from 5:26 and ordered at 5:36. After seeing others who ordered later getting their meals, I asked and was told there’d been an issue with the old system. No apology, no compensation, and no updates — and our food didn’t arrive until 6:23. We completely understand that mistakes and technical issues happen, but a little communication or understanding would’ve made a big difference, especially with hungry kids and a birthday to celebrate. On a positive note, the food itself was A+!

Beautiful views, great food and amassing service. We were refunded for a meal without even knowing we accidentally ordered it twice.

We had a family celebration lunch for 10 people at Hogs Breath Caloundra and it was fantastic! The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient, even with such a large group. The food was absolutely delicious and came out fresh and well timed. A great spot for a family gathering, we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

We went to Hogs Breath for dinner last night. We were so impressed with the team of young staff. It was extremely busy, not a table to be had and more people lining up to get in. All the servers were run off their feet yet they remained really polite and lovely. They are a credit to this business. The food was great. We will be back.

Want to start by saying that the staff were amazing. We did not like the music and actually found it quite inappropriate for the time. The food..... Absolutely terrible! As a family we ordered the Barramundi with prawns, Loaded schnitzel and the kids calamari. Non of us could even finish our food is was such poor quality, I had the schnitzel and it was so dry even with the tiny drop of topping I asked for a gravy thinking at least it'll make it moist but the gravy tasted terrible. For the price we certainly won't be back as there is much better options in the price range.

Absolutely terrible service. No manager on site, incompetent staff who took an hour to make 3 drinks because they didn’t know how to actually make them. Charged $14 for half a cup of juice with ice. Refused a refund and after a long argument made another drink which was basically soda water. Will never return.

Paid $58.84 all up for an entree Boss Hog mushrooms, never again. Hard, beyond crunchy & greasy. 3 didn’t even have mushrooms in them. Just batter, completely ripped off. Tasteless & no salt. 200gm sirloin steak Med, chewy yet cooked correctly. Zero seasoning, no salt on the steak or fries. Cost more for the disgusting so called garlic gravy that’s completely watered down & mostly cornstarch, uneatable. The quality has diminished greatly & will never ever again order from here & will NEVER ever recommend them. They need a reality check for home deliveries. Just because we aren’t there to say how it is doesn’t mean they can throw us scraps. Absolutely disgusting meal that will be getting fed to the dog up the road.

Had lunch special fresh fish and also beef nachos. Fish old and strong tasting, not pleasant. Nachos ok but beef average quality. Gave fish feedback to waitress who said would pass on to chef. Disappointing as sounded nice and lovely view. Won’t be going back.

Start of the dinner rush and out of curley fries, out of garlic bread. The food was okay, nothing special. The steak was ordered as medium and came out well done on one end and then rare on the other. That averages to medium I guess. There’s something wrong with the management here. The poor staff seem all over the place and there doesn’t seem to be any structure. We were watching people miss out on getting their drinks (arrived towards the end of the meal), staff weren’t taking peoples orders at their table, and then walking so fast that if you wanted to amend something there was no checking in and no eye contact. Bit of a weird experience. Oh, and the manager spilt my drink all over the table and never gave me napkins to wipe it up 😂

I have no idea what has happened to this place. Food is absolutely 5 star taste but the price is completely unreasonable. $40 for a curry? We eat Thai all the time, $20 to $23 is the average price for the same dishes on the coast and in Brisbane. $17 for just 2 chicken skewers as an entre when we usually pay $12 for 6 at my local. None of it made sense. I could not justify going back at those prices even though the location and atmosphere is great.

The seafood dishes are delicious. We had a sizzling plate of mixed seafood, so good along with the Tom Yum soup. Our waitress was terrific and looked after us. We sat in the window, blinds were up as it was warm, views of the water so great. Well worth a visit.

I have been to Wung Nam Thai twice in the last few months. The first time was for a 70th birthday party with twelve guests. Circumstances resulted in me having to change the date and time of the booking three times. The staff was incredibly accommodatingwith not even a hint of frustration or annoyance. I was there again one week ago with family. On both occasions the service was faultless and the food was 'to die for', at very reasonable prices. Thank you for two wonderfully satisfying nights out.

Very friendly and helpful staff! I forgot to use the entertainment book when paying and when I remembered and asked them, they applied the difference as a refund. That is next level service with a smile! That's what makes a 5 star restaurant stand out from the rest. The food was very nice and when asked for spicy they knew how to make it really kick, which was great for us (although may be a bit too hot for others so just caution here). Also the food came out quickly and correctly (even with the changes we asked for). Similar to other reviews, my only negative was the portion size is on the smaller side. But other than that, I'm a happy customer. Highly recommended this place.

The ambience is as good as it gets! The food is always delicious and consistent. I've been going here for over a decade! This restaurant is an absolute gem! By the way, I previously complained about their online ordering when it turns out that it was my phone. Deepest apologies!

Staff have no idea how to seat a dining area setting.. they also have no interest in responding to email complaints...don't think they are as good and flashy as they make out to be ... better food and service from the noodle wok around the corner on the main street..

We got the family pack for $60 and extra seafood sticks and potato scallops for $25. Definitely heaps to feed 4 people with leftovers. Chips were fresh and hot, fish was delicious. Calamari was okay, just a bit tasteless. The food is pretty decent heated up the next day. Went at about 7:30pm on a Friday night and wait time was only 10 minutes. Service could have been better, no eye contact was made at all during ordering.

Perhaps we should not have arrived a half an hour before closing time. However. The chips were revolting and cold, the scallops burnt and the fish undercooked. $60 dollars poorly spent. The delightful web page expressed a seafood symphony of various awesome meals. You could smell the grilled prawns and imagine crunching some beautifully cooked hot chips. Nope. In reality you have a group of teenagers running a store the only way they know how. Furthermore they owe me a tartare sauce as I did not receive it in my order but they can keep it. Just chunderous.

That is a lobster mornay pie, dry, small piece of lobster if u could call it that, took them out of freezer for dinner as they come frozen cooked them then no 1 would eat it… took in to show manager this morning hewas not concerned at all said he sell a lot of them but I doubt anyone has gone back for seconds, happy to give me credit I didn’t take him up on it as well as frozen pies we spent $120 on our dinner as well DISGUSTING I will never go back ever thing about it was wrong except the nice under trained staff bring back the old owners…. Don’t get caught on holidays as if u have a budget and u want some nice fish and chips go elsewhere

MONDAY 20/10/2025. Husband suggested lunch here as he was craving oysters & prawns so we dropped in unexpectedly and unplanned at this shop. The prawns were delicious. The 1/2 dozen fresh Pacific Oysters were not acceptable. I ate my three and when asked if I liked them I couldn't reply they were scrumptious - only that they were okay. When my husband ate his remaining three....two were fair but his last oyster smelt funny. He promptly spat it out immediately. Then went back inside to advise the staff member who agreed it didn't smell too good. He offered a refund or full replacement which was great. My husband didn't accept any replacement or refund as this was not his purpose. He just wanted to bring to their attention the importance of FRESH OYSTERS as THE MOST IMPORTANT factor when selling them as this is your reputation at stake. Thank you.

I've lived in Australia for nearly 30 years, and finally had the best piece of Snapper! It's the only fish I eat, and this was beautiful. Well cooked and not greasy, and the chips and salad were lovely too. Great range of food, including salads and sauces. Definitely a ace to try out if you want some lovely seafood. Customer service was great as well, and the shop was nice and clean.

I went in for lunch. Over priced and over cooked. $ 30 dollars for a crap seafood basket and drink. Hot chips weren't fresh. Even the ibis wouldn't eat them when I tried feeding it. Fish tasted old , prawn cutlet wasn't the best either. I dont think they change there fry oil regularly or they fry everything in one basket including the chips. Waste of money. I won't be going back.

Didnt take a photo. But I can tell you this, one of the worst seafood basket I've had in a long time. Fish was literally just batter. Calamari rings were so thing it had. O calamari in it, chips were shocking, it was like the oil had not been changed in a week. The scallop was the only decent thing. Disappointing because I've had calamari and chips there before and its usually decent. I really should have asked for my money back. This was about 4:30pm on Friday.

Very disappointed after hearing good things. Honey chicken dry and lacked flavour. Satay chicken was to sweet and watery and lacking peanut flavour, combination hot pot, meat was dry, seafood cooked poorly. Spring rolls dry not a nice flavour and no sauce. Singapore chow mein was not pleasant either. Overall very underwhelmed and will be hard to go back. I will also add we ordered takeaway direct at the store and returned to Aura to eat

Chinese Holiday Restaurant in Caloundra has quickly become our absolute favourite Chinese restaurant on the Sunshine Coast! Every visit is consistently amazing, the food is bursting with rich flavours, made with fresh ingredients, and cooked to perfection. The menu has all the classic Chinese dishes we love, and each one is spot on every single time. The service is just as fantastic as the food, the staff are always friendly, attentive and genuinely care about how much you’re enjoying your meal. We’re always asked if everything is going well, and we can honestly say it’s always amazing. The atmosphere is warm, cosy, and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed night out. We’ve never left disappointed, and that says a lot! If you’re looking for delicious Chinese food with top-notch service and a great vibe, we can’t recommend Chinese Holiday Restaurant highly enough. We went for dinner last night and had a wonderful meal, leaving us all very satisfied! The food was fresh and tasty and the flavours were well balanced. The same owners have been there for over 40 years, may they continue to do so for many more. The wait staff were polite and helpful with our allergies. A definite recommendation and would return if in the area again.

Every meal we have here is delicious. The king prawn with ginger is always beautifully cooked and so tasty. A very generous serving of prawns.. The prawn entree is delicious. The curried chicken, full of flavour, loads of chicken and vegetables.

My wife and daughter are visiting from Melbourne. By far the best Chinese food we have had. The food was delicious, fresh and a good amount. The staff were also very friendly and engaging. The chef even popped out to say hello. Will be visiting again when we come back. Highly recommend the honey chicken and duck with plum sauce.

I’m basically reiterating what others have said. The food is good, not the best not the worst. But based on the prices you do have slightly higher expectations. We had really great service, the kids were going above and beyond. Something probably needs to change here to have the locals want to be regulars.

Lovely little cafe, hidden away in Lamkin Lane, just down from Bulcock Street. The food was fresh and delicious. We ate inside as it was a bit cold outside. I love the eclectic furniture.

This cafe is a hidden gem, the food is delicious the atmosphere relaxing and the service is very personal and genuine. I had the Nasi Goreng which was the best I've ever had, it was tasty with a bit of heat but not too much and with the fresh crisp vegetables it was perfect. My husband had the Bubble and Squeak which looked amazing and tasted good too. The food presentation is exceptional and if I could give this Cafe a 10 I would😍. Even the coffee was good!!

Great homey environment with great service - everyone was polite and food was quick to reach the table. The food itself was really tasty, fresh and decently priced. Would highly recommend he Bao buns and the avo on toast! :)

Great food, fantastic selection of vegetarian and vegan options! Cute hideaway spot in caloundra but make sure you have plenty of time to soak it up and enjoy, breakfast doesn't happen instantly but worth the wait!

First impressions. I walk pass this place all the time to get coffee. With Lamkin lane and clandestino coffee within 5-10m away. Today I stopped and enjoyed a beautiful soy latte from the famous bean belt region. Greenhouse Cafe has a very comfortable feel with a great selection of tables In side and out to cater for all. I really enjoyed my coffee and the great staff. You can order coffee by phone and before 9am grab a coffee for 3 dollars.

Always love meeting friends here for a cute breakfast that is healthy and vegetarian! Awesome friendly staff and right near the Caloundra Main Street for shopping afterwards. So always a perfect morning out!

Fish and chips pack was lovely. Fish nice and fresh with lightly crunchy batter, chips were nothing special but were good. Had a hamburger with coleslaw made to order and was outstanding. Toasted bun was yum. Service was friendly and helpful.

This was my first time ordering from here. The chips were undercooked and cold. The fish was over cooked, oily and fell apart without barely touching it. It was that oily, the fish and batter didn’t stay together. They need to change their sign. They shouldn’t be voted best fish and chips.

Best fish n chips in Sunny Coast, always so fresh and crispy. Sometimes you need to wait for a long time but definitely worth it. Recommend to get take away and sit near the beach.

Came in Sunday morning, November 15th for a nice fresh fish and chips along with some potato cakes. The food was above average but the service was what really astounded me. A young man was so helpful with my order, despite me taking a while to decide. He was both patient and respectful and made the experience 100x better.

We have ordered from here a couple of years ago and the food was good. Have come back again and the food quality has slipped. We ordered three different packs. Fish (cod) was a little thin and dry. Multiple items in the ocean sampler pack were over cooked and some even burnt. All three of us had groom guts overnight. The only good things were the chips and the potato scallops. Unfortunately likely won’t come back and will try seafood market next time. Wait times are also quite long. I even came before it was busy.

Well priced & very tasty. We had the calamari & chips, fish & chips, onion rings & the mediterranean salad. The calamari were big & perfectly cooked, the chips were crunchy & the home made onions rings were the best I've ever had. The salad was OK, but a bit of a let down in quality compared the cooked food. Overall though it was very enjoyable & well priced. Basic tables & chairs available inside & on the footpath. Very busy place, but there are tables available by the beach across the road. Great views are a bonus

Read some negative reviews here, mainly pertaining to size of portions and delays in ordering time. Can't say any of that applied to my experience. They said my order would take 20 minutes while it was ready in 15 minutes. The size of my flake was perfectly adequate. It was crisp and not overcooked. The potato scallops I ordered were the best I've eaten. Full marks for a wonderful meal. Also gratifying to see young people behind the counter doing their best to serve customers.

We really enjoyed our visit to White Picket Fence. The space has such a unique and welcoming vibe, it’s stylish, relaxed, and thoughtfully put together. The layout and decor made us feel comfortable right away. And pet friendly ❤️ The team was friendly and attentive, and you can tell they care about creating a great experience. The menu was full of interesting options, which made it tough to decide! I went with the hashbrowns and poached eggs, it was well made, just not quite my favourite flavour combo. My partner, on the other hand, absolutely enjoyed his dish (an Asian-style one, we didn’t catch the name!) and kept saying how good it was. Now the highlight for me? The pistachio cookie. I had one… then another! Seriously addictive. I’m already thinking about grabbing one tomorrow! The coffee was fine, nothing extraordinary, but still a solid cup. And we could see the kitchen was clean, well-organized, and running smoothly. All in all, White Picket Fence is a spot we’ll definitely return to. Great food, great people, and a space that feels good to be in.

Had a really great meal at White Picket Fence. Great atmosphere and really great food. We came for lunch and had the slow cooked lamb dish with coconut tzatziki and roti. Also had the sweet potato with pork belly. Both dishes were outstanding. Also great service with the chef greeting us as we came past the open kitchen. Highly recommended when you’re next in Caloundra.

My experience here was a 10/10, friendly service, the portions were massive and the place itself is beautiful. It is actually much nicer than it seems from outside, nice comfy seats and tables, a cozy back garden away from the traffic of the main street and a relaxing and lively atmosphere. Shout out to chefs and waitresses who went all the way recommending me what to eat, I’ll be back for the pancakes 😋😋😋

The service is excellent 👍🏻, as we arrived they’ve prepared for us a table (we were 13 person). The food varies and is great, i ordered hash benny and it was delicious 🤤 . Moreover, the shakshuka tastes good although the tomato sauce was very runny .

The food is great quality but, my poached eggs came really hard and I was too hungry to ask to a swap but when i order poached eggs I expect nice runny yolk And not boiled egg. Every fish comes with a massive amount of butted on the bread. I mean bigger than a tablespoon spoon. It makes the entire dish and bread super greasy and I managed to remove half of it from the bread and you can still see in the picture how much there was left on the side. My daughters crumpet that she asked for Nutella, also came with a huge glob of butter on it which made the crumpets soaked in grease and tasted bad when she added Nutella. Just a lot of unnecessary fat added for no reason which end up being too greasy and heavy in the stomach. The quality of ingredients though were great and fresh but menu used to be better when they first opened

Sat outside in the back because I wanted abitnif peace nd quit. Inside was almost full and had a nice vibe and cosy atmosphere. It was still nice and cosy outside for a mid to late August. Shade cover to keep you covered but there was enough sun to keep you nice and warm. I ordered the Shakahuka with bacon and pork belly bites. All the meat was tender, full of flavour and the Shakahuka was delicious. I enjoyed the food the vibe and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Definately would recommend to anyone.

We were recommend this spot, and I will recommend it more! I imagine it's very popular being next door to Rolling Surf Resort and right on the beach! We had calamari and the baked brie, so delicious! Great selection of local tap beers. Kai was friendly and chatty! And the other ladies , didn't get their names, but also super lovely. A really cool spot, they do live music apparently, we weren't there for that! Ours was an afternoon sesh. Thanks team! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved Kings Beach bar! Staff are warm & friendly! We ordered a Lager, Chai latte, Satay Chicken bowl and the Poke Bowl with Mahi mahi & it was some of the best food we’ve had in a while! We’re from the Gold Coast, but will definitely be back again!

A really chilled and vibing establishment. We went for drinks and a meal in the evening and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. It appears to get quite busy, so at peak times, you may struggle to get a table if you had a big group. Live music on certain nights and delicious cocktails.

Sunday night @Kings Beach Bar was a fantastic evening especially with Sam Binnink entertaining us with his singing and solo guitar, playing endless mash-ups, getting the crowd involved and making for an unforgettable experience. This guy would win X Factor or the Voice hands down. Such a likeable stage presence. Footwear optional.

18% surcharge then wait an hour for a burger and teriyaki chicken .Not even close to busy with no apologies, just excuses own your incompetence. The burger was disgustingly greasy & didn’t finish it, what a huge disappointment. UPDATE So just let me start by saying after 30 years in my own business I’m the last person to say the customers always right. Not true. I posted the first ever one star review while sitting at the table after getting our meal. $81 for a burger ,Thai chicken and rice , a coffee and a can of coke. Now one of the waiters must have been paying more attention to the reviews coming in than the customers and thought he should give me a spray after we got up to leave. So here’s the best chance to help sort a very bad experience for a repeat customer ,but instead he decided to have a go at me . I would’ve thought you’d own up to a very very bad day and help sort out a solution but instead your smart arse employee thought that he’d take the low route and give me a spray . Well done 👍 what a true genius. I would’ve happily taken down the review if I’d seen some sort of action from the manager who I spoke to about the meal and the actions of his staff member,but nothing but smart comments from the bar staff. You so deserve this review.

What a lovely place to have food and drinks! We had dinner and it was so good! 😋 yummy 😋! The staff were lovely and accommodating! The ambience was excellent! Lots of seating inside and out! The schnitzels are so yummy ! The nicest I have ever had! Nice decor and pretty lighting!

Went here for dinner. My partner had the steak and I went for the loaded fries. Of course a few drinks were added. Loaded fries ended up feeding the both of us. It was the only hot item we received. Said it should have bbq pulled pork and bacon on them but instead it had diced ham. Otherwise, it was fulfilling. The steak we ordered was the rib eye. Came with veggies and mash. As seen in the picture of what was left on the table. The veggies were cold and soggy. The mash was not “creamy” as advertised but a block thick, tasteless, cold mash. Literally pick the whole thing up with the fork. The steak had 3 bites removed from it. My partner had 2 and I 1. I couldn’t eat the one bite I had. It was tasteless and like eating rubber. It was also cold. I’m not sure if this place was having a bad night or what, but I can’t foresee us eating here again.

The service was great, staff were attentive and offered to move the gas heaters around for us. Lovely atmosphere, tasty food (we had the calamari) and they have mid-week specials. Will definitely be going back!

We came here because Amici was full. The ambient was suitable for kids. Everything was good except for the beef brisket which was too dry (almost jerky style). Other than that everything was nice. The service was friendly and relatively quick on a Friday night.

Sitting here with my partner, both full bellies completely content for lunch. He ordered a steak sandwich and I quote ‘best steak sandwich I’ve EVER had’ and I’d say the same for my squid salad, fresh juicy 10/10. Paired with two nice beers. Stoked with the service for a Monday lunch. 10/10 I’ll be back!!!!!!

The best steak I’ve ever had! The first place I can honestly say that everything on my plate was cooked to perfection, I enjoyed every bite. I would pay more for something that’s even half decent in Brisbane compared to Corner Pocket. Staff were so friendly and provided excellent service, I never went without a drink on my table. The cocktails and dessert were awesome and definitely topped off the place for me. Thoroughly impressed with everything and we will definitely be back in the future!

Happened across this bar and grill and what an awesome find!! Staff are welcoming and accommodating, the vibes and general feel of the place is very relaxed and then theres all the food and cocktails to choose from! Pizza was absolutely choc-a-block loaded and the cocktails were delightful. Thank you to Megan our waitress and to the rest of the staff for a lovely experience.

Went twice during our stay in Caloundra. Turkish eggs, mushroom dish, KFC wrap were all really good! The smoothies tasted great too. It was located a bit far from the town but all in all worth the drive

Coffee was fantastic, food next level! And the green views make it very calming as well. It feels like a lot of love has gone into this place and that we found a little hidden treasure. Yum!

Placed an order for the brekky wrap over the phone, the guy was very quick, friendly and efficient. Order was ready within 10 mins and made to perfection! Not a big wrap gal but I will definitely be back because that was absolutely lovely. Cafe is sorta in a weird spot but heaps of parking and the Atmosphere inside was incredible, think rainforest but with great food for a good price.

Best brunch we had during our trip to Queensland! Food was great, coffee was great, cafe itself was beautiful and service was great.

Visited this cafe with the family the other day for breakfast. We were impressed with the level of service and the tasty food we received. The environment is also very relaxing and green/lush which we enjoyed also. It's in the middle of suburbia which makes for a really quiet and peaceful experience which we really valued. The staff also supplied a little toy/colouring kit for our toddler which kept him busy which was a nice surprise. Highly recommended!!

First time here and I had try the pistachio latte which was absolutely delicious. I am craving it more ever since then. I would drive from Brisbane to dine here again.

Such a gem! Love this cafe that serves great food and the atmosphere is so cool! We ordered the sweet corn fritters (love the fritters that has real corn in it) and the Okonomiyaki (full of flavours and it is crispy). The coffee is good and the staff are friendly! Make sure you make a booking as it gets really busy

Nice Coffee Club in an excellent location with views to the water and tip of Bribie. I've visited a few times now, the place is clean with friendly service, a good selection of indoor and outdoor tables and 8 didn't have to wait too long for food and drinks. Great place to sit and relax. Feels like I'm on holiday and when your done you can go for a walk along the beach. Only negatives are if you sit outside it can get a little noisy with the road right out front and these tables although under shelter can get wet when it rains. Street parking is busy you may have to park a distance and walk. There is a drop off zone out front.

Terrible service and poor quality . Coffee arrived at 110 degrees immediately scolding my mouth and relieving me off all taste buds, I assumed in preparation for my meal. I asked for another one 10 minutes later when I could get someone’s attention. Then my “famous “ eggs benny arrived on what appeared to be a dried cracker.. not 2 x English muffins like I ordered and as shown in the photo.. bloody terrible.. no wonder the place was empty… maybe I should have seen the red flags . Good luck I won’t be returning

It was really nice been here a few times now and the service and coffee have been amazing especially the danish waitress, the larger sweet potatoe fries were a bit raw though still very nice tho!

My 12 year old could cook better. Looks like dog food and went straight in the bin. Waisted of 30 dollars and door dash was over 1 hour late. Happy Sunday

Very poor service! We waited over 45 minutes for our order. Before I even asked about it, I had noticed some “ready” plates just sitting on the counter. Right after I asked, they brought us those exact plates — which were obviously cold. The food came cold, in a very small portion, and just average in taste. The restaurant wasn’t even busy — around 7 tables at the time — and people who had arrived after me were served much earlier. In the end, I waited 45 minutes to eat something cold, small, and still paid $90 dollars. Very disappointing!

i am stunned to see most people have had the same experience as me at this place. my friend and i waited 1 hour for 2 eggs benny’s, a coffee and a juice today. we watched everyone who had come in after us get their meals before us and also watched the staff offer everyone table water except for us….i had to end up going to the service counter and asking where our food was, it then conveniently came out. the place was also not very busy when we were there. usually i am not the one to complain and i understand that times can be busy but today was ridiculous. it’s like we were just left in the corner and did not receive the service we had hoped for, this was such a disappointing experience. aside from that, the food was absolutely delicious.

Service was slow, kids meals were disappointing. Slice of toast with Vegemite spread too thick for $12. My Reuben was dry. Nice atmosphere and coffee.

Extremely disappointed with my recent order. The food was burnt, very dry and completely inedible – huge chunks of charred meat that shouldn’t have been served at all. On top of that, when I went to pick up my order, the staff didn’t even acknowledge me. I stood there for about 10 minutes waiting, even though the app said my food was ready. Staff were just standing around talking and no one told me what was happening with my order. Terrible food and terrible service – definitely not what you’d expect from GYG. Won’t be coming back.

If you can avoid this location, do! It’s unfortunately the closest one to my house but continuously THE WORST location you’ll ever experience. The food is consistently under proportioned (sometimes ingredients missing all together) all while the waiting time is doubled compared to others branches. I am not someone to ever complain about food orders because I’ve worked in hospitality for years and understand how busy it can get, but I visited on a pretty quiet Wednesday night and ordered the same thing I order every single time, I asked for my guac on the side because I was on the way home. It cost $3.20 for a tea spoon of guac, and I didn’t get my sour scream. They also charged me for a large chips instead of a medium which I know it’s not a big deal but still.

Waste of money. I ordered 2 burrito bowls and one is missing the corn chips and looks absolutely disgusting compared to the other one as shown in the photos. Chicken wasn’t nice either, very dry. Don’t know what’s happened to this place as I used to love it but I probably won’t be back there again.

think this was the worst guzman i’ve had yet food wise, so inconsistent barely anything in a few tacos then the rest is soggy and drenched which makes the taco shell taste like wet cardboard and feels like sand in your mouth, i did ask for no lettuce on all of my tacos and they still put lettuce (this happens every time i order from the caloundra guzman they never read the removals on the orders, ever)

Caloundra store cancel your order through their app every time if it's within 60-90 minutes of closing. It's happened 3 times within the last few months. I think the staff there just don't care. The last few I've ordered brown rice. It comes with bits of each, as though they add white rice then try scrape it out, same with beans, I end up with some white rice, some brown rice and random beans that were missed. This leads me to believe they premake and have them sitting there.. I'm yet to work out how it happens every time so I'm assuming they are premaking and removing items you don't want as it happens regularly at this store. The chicken or beef is always very dry, tasteless and burnt to a crisp (look at the last few months photos in reviews for proof). The dryness leads me to believe they are precooking everything as above and removing items which also would align with lack of much sauce left in the enchiladas and on the outside as its been reheated and dried. Stay well away from this restaurant and read all past recent reviews. Place is a train wreck and seems to be getting worse.

Really disappointed with my food and service as we had ordered a hot chocolate with it and had waited in the drive through for like 10 minutes after the order had been marked as ready on the app. Cars in front of us had left and we were waiting to say we had an order to pick up for 10 minutes with literally no response until we spoke up and they said 2 secs and they took another 5 minutes . We then were able to drive through to the last window were we were informed it would take another 5 minutes until we would recieve a hot chocolate as the guy said it hadn’t been made yet and that they could get us a cold drink instead. We were quite frustrated as we had waited for the app to tell us it was ready for pick up and had to wait ages in the queue to even order even though no one was in front of us by that time. We ended up getting a coke to replace the hot chocolate and then we had to inform him that we were still waiting on another coke which he then replied that he hadn’t seen another one and it wasn’t until he had another look at the receipt did he realise and then we were able to get it. Don’t recommend ordering from here at night if u have other options.

Has a decent pizza at Nick’s which was split into 4 cheese and meat lovers. The cheesy side was by far the best. We liked the light base and dashes of Gorgonzola. The meat side was alright but the sausage and salami were bland and lacked any strong flavours. They’re not cheap at $50 a pop for an 18 inch pizza and they definitely don’t fill up 3-4 people but are still worth a try.

Absolutely amazing place! The pizza is just incredible — probably the best we’ve had in a very long time, and definitely the best pizza in Australia. The atmosphere is cozy and very pleasant, a place where you really want to stay longer. The staff are polite, caring, and attentive to guests. Everything here is done with heart, and you can feel it. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves truly delicious pizza and a great atmosphere!

Had been at the beach for a few drinks and a sun bake. Fancied a slice of pizza on the way home just for that flavour behaviour. Found Nicks on google and saw they sold pizza by the slice. Didn’t realise it was heaven by the slice. The pizza is so fresh and tasty. Get a slice or two of the different kinds too as they go down easy. Shout out to Nick too for the great service!

Spent $115 at Nick’s on two pizzas and so-called “garlic knots” (really just dough scraps), and I’m honestly stunned this place has the ratings it does. The pizzas were oversized but carelessly made — minimal toppings, sloppy execution, and no real flavor. There was zero attention to detail or pride in the product. Nothing is worse than watching your guests push food aside, let alone seeing your kids not even enjoy pizza — the one thing they’re always excited for. That says it all. As someone who leaves a lot of reviews, this is without question one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had. At this price point, serving food of this standard is not just poor — it’s embarrassing. Nick’s needs to seriously reflect on the quality they’re putting their name to

This is our first time visiting Nick’s Pizza Co. The food here is AMAZING. 😘👌🏼 Awesome textures and flavours! The restaurant is very well set up, the flashing tear drop lights are a beautiful touch and it attracted me to this restaurant to begin with. The restaurant is very clean and appealing. The prices are a little steep, but I do appreciate the quality of the food. I would have loved more options for deserts!

Absolutely loved our night at Nick’s Pizza in Dicky Beach! The food was top-notch. The service was friendly and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere had such a great vibe, and to top it all off, there was live music by Stellarize, who truly made our night. Her voice was incredible and created the perfect vibe, we’ll definitely be back!

We really enjoyed dining at Sokuri during our stay in Caloundra – so much so that we went back three times over our two-week visit! The food was fresh and tasty with good variety on the menu. The staff were always friendly and efficient . Great spot for a relaxed meal or takeaway.

The food was awesome. I had the sizzling teriyaki chicken. Perfect. Another dinner guest had the Katsu Chicken rice bowl. Said the sesame sauce on the salad was yum, the whole dish was good. Another had the Dragon special sushi rolls. Thought it’d be too much. Gobbled down the lot. Everything was most enjoyable Prompt service, a comfortable environment and honest prices all make for a good dining experience

The walkway Cafe is such a warm and welcoming place to go for breakfast, lunch or just for coffee and Cake. They go out of there way to cater for your needs. Red does the best Coffee and Glen and his team treat everyone so well.

Popped into this lovely little cafe yesterday for a coffee and bite to eat. What a gem! Really lovely toasted sandwich with loads of ham and cheese. Nice thick toasted bread that was deliciously easy to eat and not hard enough to break my teeth off. Coffee was lovely and the service was excellent. Well done to the owners and staff. I just wish that I was able to go to Caloundra more often to enjoy this great little establishment.

This place is a real hidden gem, tucked away in a quiet alley off Bulcock Street. There is an inspired menu incorporating many of their deli specialty products, and the service is excellent. The coffee is full-bodied, smooth, and well made. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and my friend and I sat inside, which is a light and an airy space with a view out to greenery. My friend had the sardines on toast, which she loved, and I had the fruit toast, which was delicious and packed with flavour. There is a beautifully curated range of delicatessen products and locally made jams and condiments. I'm very keen to return to try some other dishes. It would be a great spot to go on your own or in a small group.

👋We’ve been here before about a year ago and it was good. Like really good!! What happened?? The toastie was mildly warm at best, the ingredients were mediocre - the menu said prosciutto but when we asked why there wasn’t prosciutto staff told us it was “Italian style prosciutto ham”. I was given a very thick crust on one side and a thin piece on the other. It just felt like the love and care for good food has left this establishment 😢

What a special gem of a place. I had just come from an intense medical appointment and needed to eat. There were no tables available inside (I know why, now!) and the lovely lady offered to bring in an outside table for us because she thought it was too chilly outside. I had a BLT panini and an iced coffee. It was so delicious and comforting and exactly what I needed. Thank you for your kindness and delicious food!

Spent a few hours here Sunday lunch and done the tasting of the fins and vodka. Got an amazing grazing platter to accompany the tastings plus a few cheeky cocktails. The owners are nice and friendly people and would recommend their organic gin & vodka.

We called I to the BeachTree Distillary today, and I was not disappointed. The gin vodka is amazing. The staff are so helpful, and I recommend a vist if you love good Gin or Vodka, Rum.

We had a visit to Beachtree when we were staying in Caloundra and so happy we did. The Gin is amazing (my husband is a rum drinker and he loved the tastings) . It was so nice to chat with Steve about his passion. The entire team was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The gin is excellent, the bottles are adorable and the team wonderful. Overall a great combination. Will be ordering again when the 3 bottles we purchased are done.

All the gins are exactly what you want from an Australian craft gin - beautiful light native flavours. The tasting experience was so enjoyable and made great by the genuine hospitality of the owners. This is our second year dropping in while on holidays and I think we’ve found an annual tradition to stock up!

After my 2022 work Christmas party I was alone, drunk and waiting for an Uber... while I was waiting I decided to check out the gin stall inside Myer and because the sales guy was pretty good at his job I spontaneously bought a bottle of gin but I feel like I bought it because the bottle had a nice picture of a koala on it, plus I must admit it was very eye catching... fast forward to Christmas Day I decided to open the nice bottle of gin and have a very merry Christmas 🎄 Well the gin has super magic powers because my husband and I have been struggling with infertility for a few years BUT let me tell you! after I drank half a bottle of the gin I got pregnant! 9 months later we welcomed a beautiful baby girl. Thank you to the creators of Beachtree gin for making such an effective drink! Cheers 🥂

Tonights dinner and dessert with my partner! It’s our 2 year anniversary today and we thought we’d drive to Caloundra for a holiday. Coming to Dom’s at Kings was a perfect choice to top our last night. Food was absolute delicious and fresh. We even had a garlic bread entree that was absolutely delicious! The prices are insanely great in itself as well. Thank-you for an amazing night and an AMAZING sticking pudding dessert. We will be back!!! :)

We liked the Atmosphere and the people but the food wasn't as good in comparison to other Italian restaurants I've been to. The Risotto was hard and crunchy, too aldente and the Cannellini was very overpowering with tomato flavour. Afogato was great, cider and Pina Colada were not nice.

Just walked into Dom's restaurant for takeaway pizza! Dom's is such a legend, we chatted about Italy and the AFL. The pizza was awesome I had the mango chilli chicken and a garlic Pizza. Check out Dons place when at king's beach. Mention Antonio, he will look after you,😁 Mr Carlton 😉

3 takeaway pizzas. $72 All 3 burnt. Approximately 4 slices of mushroom on an entire pizza. If you love half made, minimal ingredient sauce pizzas. This is your place!

Lovely staff, with great customer service. Food was delicious, not too rich or heavy - Tortellini fungi. The cocktails were ok, but i wouldn't expect anything over the top, it is an Italian Restaurant not a cocktail bar. Great experience and will be back.

The Stockland coffee club has gone down so badly in the last 12 or so months especially. My mum, dad and I have dined there for 25 years. We will not be returning. We’ll possibly cancel our VIP memberships too. The staff look so unclean, are rude and don’t care about customer service whatsoever. We are very tired of something being wrong every time we try again. It was the last straw the other day, when I checked my receipt (I always get one now because of all the mess ups) and even though I used my membership, my points deducted but no discount. When asking about it, I was left waiting until the “manager” came over and finally (after much deliberation) gave me the $4.90 I was owed and left, smiling, saying “enjoy Mooloolaba” (I had mentioned how Kawana and Maroochydore stores were a lot better). Meanwhile, one of the other girls making coffees remarked that I was rude. Rude for enquiring about my member discount?? I went over to the “manager”, who had gone back to sitting down with head phones on at another table, and told her what the girl said. It made no difference. I’ve also put in feedback via the email they sent afterwards. Nothing. Another shocking experience. You have lost very loyal, long standing customers.

We went there yesterday and I ordered 2 coffees. I mentioned my husband had missed lunch but I just couldn't think what he could have that was gluten free (he has Coeliac disease). A lady, who wasn't serving me suggested the banana bread or the date and something bread I said, oh are they gluten free. She said yes, so i ordered one. Pretty annoyed because she said it was GF and the guy who was serving me didn't pipe up and say they weren't. I didn't see a GF label on them as I passed the display but I had checked. Surprise surprise ... My husband was very ill last night. Thanks a lot.... Train your staff because for a Coeliac this is a dreadful experience. Sometimes it takes days to bounce back.

The staff look so grubby in their white shirts. One person was working while the manager and 3 other staff were doing miscellaneous tasks. I have never waited so long for a cold drink!!!!! Seriously worst coffee club service ever!!!!

The staff were delightful and polite, and the service was courteous and swift! The Coffee Club, irrespective of which one you visit, provides a good standard of food and coffee. Stock lands Coffee Club is a central and easy to find place to meet.

Very friendly service and nice place. Tried fish chips and calamari. Chips were great! As was the calamari, though seasoning was a bit much for my taste. However the fish, in this instance whilst ok, was not the best, dry is my best description.

Four young staff obviously nearing the end of their shift and not putting any emphasis on customer service or speed of service. Waited at the counter for 2-3 mins before someone finally came to serve me. No salads on offer and not alternative offered by the staff. Shop wasn't busy at all. 1 piece of grilled cod and a medium chips took 25 minutes to make and then buzzer didn’t even work. Chips were very greasy. Clearly oil needs changing. Won’t be returning.

Okay picture this, it is new year's eve, everyone is out to spend money and have a good time. We are sitting and waiting for our delicious fish and chips to celebrate our last night of 2022. Unfortunately as time ticks away on the year our friends at sand bar decide to over promise and under deliver. It will be an hour wait, two underpaid staff tell prospective customers, oh too long, no worries mate, see you next year. Bye bye dollars out the door. Our hour wait turned into an hour 25, oops sorry. Fish was good. chips, not bad. But an hour wait. Dear owner, if you would like to improve your retirement plans, dig deep, add some staff and get people to wait 30min instead of 90 and you would have made at least 10 more sales in the 20min we waited. Look you may have pooped the bed this time, but I believe in you. See you next year.

We did order basket food for family with fish, calamari and wait for 1h to get it but they sent wrong order and food over cook. Very disappointed We called to ask them and noone pick up the phone. The cost not cheap

Always good food. The vegetarian burger is particularly good. I love to pick up some take away and eat it at the tables across the road. From there, it is relaxing to watch the sun set over Caloundra, with the Glass House mountains in the background. Across the water is Bribie Island. Just a great place to relax at the end of a busy week.

We dined on a Thursday morning for breakfast. We were seated immediately and the restaurant was clean and well decorated. I had the big breakfast and my beautiful wife something equally as cool. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. The price was more than fair and the staff were wonderfully polite and helpful. The coffee was fantastic. We will be back.

Fast, friendly service. A nifty take on service, very relaxed with professional table waitress. We got Lunch for three. Sandbar fish and chips (without the chips and add salad) Crispy chicken wings and pork steam buns(forgot photo of buns) Absolutely delicious. Chicken wings were a tad salty; but the sauce counteracted that. Good prices for delicious food, a nice veiw and relaxing atmosphere. Will be back.

We all really enjoyed the delicious food, we had coconut prawns, fish cakes, Panang Curry, Prawn chili stir-fry and a few other dishes. Everything was delicious. The service was great.

Terrific expirence. If you get the banquet meal for 4 people (about $40ish pp), there is more then enough food (plenty of leftovers even for a hungry family). Pefect beach walk to travel along after to walk off the meal. Great service, definitely coming back.

My parents and I decided to try this Thai restaurant last night. The roti bread was hard and not traditional. The dim sims could have been cooked a little more. The spring rolls didn’t have much flavour. The Thai beef salad was ordinary and was swimming in sauce.The calamari had way to much batter this was thicker then the calamari. The only highlight was the peanut sauce. We won’t be returning nor would we be eating Thai again. One of the worst restaurants on the Sunshine Coast

The staff are so welcoming and the atmosphere is so chill, it's amazing. The food is so delicious and the drinks are just as good. I do recommend booking a table because this placed is loved by so many people, you'll need to make sure you get a table so you don't need to wait. Please, please, please give this amazing place a try, you'll love it. ❤

Food was amazing as always. We have dined here often. The service last night wasn't great. We will continue to frequent because of the exceptional chef. Hopefully the service issue last night was just a minor glitch because it has always been excellent in the past

My partner and I came here for breakfast to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. I ordered the Big & Beautiful with a Iced Mocha. and she had the avocado on toast with bacon with an iced latte, all was delicious! While they had plenty of vegetarian options. The service was exceptional we had a lovely guy who took our order and another while paying. A lovely spot while you can see the ocean beautifully!. Thank you so much for everything!. 😊

I hate giving average or below average reviews, but this place was the pits. Mid week lunch. We ordered 2 sandwiches (1 chkn / 1 ham) but no ham available. We opted for a chicken burger in lieu of the ham sambo. This was apparently confusing and only the burger went through. When we eventually got the chicken sandwich, it came toasted… it was chicken and salad & the salad was hot and soggy (toasted wasn’t mentioned nor were we asked, but after we ordered, we overheard someone being given the option). The chicken in the burger was horrible and drowned in a strange sauce (other photos we saw showed a simple chicken burger with greenery). Horrible food experience aside, service was 50/50.. 1 great, young lady and one older, grumpy local who didn’t want to be there or make eye contact. Tables were all uneven and drinks were spilt when anything was put down or touched.

Service was fantastic, the man serving was really nice and friendly. Food and coffee was on point👌 A great experience compared to the place beside it “Ours by the beach” I was disgusted with their service. I highly recommend Sunnys @ Moffat!

Had breakfast here and can say it was one of the nicest tastiest breakfast I’ve had. We both went back in the next week and it still did not disappoint. Great service ,good food , clean amenities and nice outlook with pleasant modern dining music. My breakfast was unique for a vegetarian breakfast served with roasted pumpkin asparagus mushrooms red onion in a bed of tasty quinoa. Poached eggs on the side made it a substantial feed. My partner had the mincymoo with poached eggs. Delicious mince ,beans and peas with no trace of greasiness often present in other venues. Very enjoyable hot coffee with oat milk. Bonus to find separately wrapped toothpicks at the counter when we were leaving. Definitely one of the better places to enjoy breakfast oat. All the staff and owners extremely polite and friendly. Having thoroughly enjoyed a couple of breakfasts recently at Sunny's, I tried my luck for lunch, and wasn't disappointed. Grilled Atlantic salmon, with a refreshing pale Lord Nelson ale and a stunning, sunny ocean perspective. **** Stopped in at Sunny’s for breakfast again during a recent stay at Moffat Beach, and once again, I was well pleased with my meal and the service. This time I chose the breakfast tacos, which turned out to be a great way to have scrambled eggs different from the usual presentation. The chorizos added a tangy, spicy something, without dominating. I’d recommend this dish and look forward to tasting it again.

Very disappointed, bought some chips and sat down on Sunny’s table, got kicked out due to not buying the chips from that place, though it was a very hot and sunny day. Declined service. Declined a seat. And got kicked out for no reason. Poor service and owner makes her staff do all the work for her. She even gave rude looks as we were leaving but didn’t have the guts to tell us herself to leave.

Cannot fault this place. They let me design my own vegetarian breakfast which was sensational. Very quick service in spite of being very busy. And the prices were reasonable. Next time I’ll book a table at the front where it’s a bit warmer.

This spot is one that will change your mood for the better! Food comes fast with spectacular presentation. Tastes amazing with a menu suited for all ages. Coffee was sublime and certainly made for a 10/10 way to start my day! Service people are lovely and put on a smile. When I forgot to mention I had a nut allergy, they remade my whole half benny without the nut hollandaise and without any issue! Thank you guys, I’ll be back every weekend!

Street based Cafe ,looks nothing impressive but sit down order coffee and brekky and you'll be delighted with everything. The standard bacon and eggs arrived quickly with the corn fritter, bacon and egg... I loved that we could order a half serve which was more than enough for the average appetite. Highly recommend 👌

I ordered pasta and pizza from Venice Pizza and both were really good. The pizza had a great crust, plenty of toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. The pasta was tasty too – the sauce had a lot of flavor and it felt fresh, not like something out of a jar. Definitely one of those places you look forward to ordering from again.

We visited this restaurant on a Friday evening and had no issues or delays in finding a table. Tables are available inside or outside. Outside tables are quiet and well spaced out. The wait staff appear to be mainly short term students or casual young people. This is reflected in the overall hospitality. The seating is comfortable. We ordered a large supreme pizza and spritz cocktails. The cocktails are not the prettiest but are excellent value. The pizza was the star of the show. The pizza is excellent value. The pizza is evenly loaded with a variety of toppings and baked perfectly. A large pizza comfortably feeds two adults. The pizza is great value but cannot comment on the pasta menu. Highly recommend based on our first experience.

Horribly disappointed that my mum now doesn’t have any dinner to eat and the kitchen is closed. When placing our order for a takeaway family dinner, it was specifically asked and repeated back to us that it would not contain meat as she is vegetarian. The dinner was then picked up and it was covered in meat. Seriously disappointed that nothing can be offered for her to now eat…..

This restuarant was demolished a year ago and has redirected calls to another location.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxcxxxçxxxxçx I viisited this restaurant again on the 2nd January 2022, we had the Pescetore and a Seafood Pizza which was 5 stars !! This restaurant is at the lowe end of Bulcock street but worth the walk. I had fettuccini mediterranian, a little heavy on the sauce but delicious hand made pasta. My friend had the margherita pizza chosen as she needs halal food, the waitress was happy to ensure there was no wine added to the mix. I tried the pizza, it had a very thin crispy traditional base the way I like it, 5 stars for the pizza. With table service and being a public holiday it was great value.

We visited Venice Pizza once and really enjoyed it! The pizza was fresh, tasty, and had the perfect crust. The staff were friendly and the service was great. Would definitely go back again.

Ordered a pasta dish specifically for vegetarian ie no bacon & lo & behold there’s bacon. No dinner for me. Rang Venice & sorry kitchen closed so have a store credit if they remember. Still no dinner though…🤷🏻‍♀️. Always made to feel like a lepper 😔

The food is surprisingly delicious, it’s very fresh and non oily. Perfectly cooked vegetables and meat. The portion sizes are big. I had the chicken ginger stir fry which was 10/10 and also the beef larb which was lean and nice but lacked salt. I ordered gluten free and they were so accomodating for it. Thank you I would go back and I would recommend.

This is by far the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. I’ve been in Australia for almost eight years and have never had Thai food this bad. The chicken wings were extremely greasy and not fresh. The Pad Thai was very hard and lacked any aroma—there was only an unpleasant oily smell. The rice was very hard, and the beef curry was just average. One of the kitchen staff looked at us as if we were monsters when we walked by—she almost jumped in shock. It was very uncomfortable and didn’t feel like a normal reaction at all.

i walked into the store and there was already another customer there. waited in line patiently. when it was my turn, she asked me what i wanted & as i was answering, cut me off to talk to that customer again. it felt obviously passive-aggressive. after i’d ordered she just left me standing there, so i awkwardly had to leave the store and come back in to ask about the payment. i can’t believe i even have to write this. only about five minutes later i was sitting in my car, in the middle of editing footage & the same woman came up and opened my car door without warning to hand me my food, no consent, just opened it. that’s violating and invasive. all my stuff including personal items and acting props i’d just taken out to reorganise spilled out onto the ground, which was humiliating. she didn’t even apologise in a meaningful way. when i went inside to calmly ask for a refund or some accountability, i was told “give the food back” if i wanted one. absolutely no care for the impact of what she did. this isn’t hospitality. it’s boundary-breaking behaviour masked as “politeness.” i left feeling disrespected, embarrassed & totally rattled. i won’t be back and others should know what kind of experience they might have here.

Authentic delicious Thai food in Caloundra and great service by the owner. Fully recommended! Don't forget trying the roti bread with your curry!

Ok, however not a place ill rush back to. We had take away and there was no tofu in tofu dish, coconut prawns mostly batter and very few prawns or identifiable seafood in seafood dish. Overall the taste was ok as were the curry puffs though.

We spent 68 dollar for those three. Massanman（only 3 pieces of chicken) is not good at all☹️ BTW Highly recommend Tom Yum Soup, if you pretty like sour.

We ordered a take-away for a price of 60$+ for 3 meals, waited for 30mins as they say then when i showed up they said to wait for another 10mins. Hand over the food with no bags for 3meals got home but still didnt expect to see this in your salads🐞. Im not doing this for fame or what so ever but please be mindful to check before giving it to your customer.

This an e-mail I sent to the hotel on the 10th July 25 and never got a response. Hello, I dined at the Caloundra Hotel last night and had the Pork Belly with Asian Greens, rice and a chilli sauce and it was disgusting. The miniscule piece that I did receive was either over cooked or reheated numerous times.  It was dry, stringy and the bottom of the pork was almost a jerky texture that I could just cut.  Absolutely horrible. Yes I did eat it and no I didn't bring it to the staff's attention as we were in a hurry but I regret not doing so as soon as I cut ( or tried to ) into it. I have attached a copy of the bill and a photo of the meal . I'm bringing this to your attention as if this is standard of meals the kitchen serves,  you need a new cook. Looking forward to your response ?.

Amazing quality dinner here. I highly recommend the hotel for top quality and value meals. I had the rump and vegetables today. Service is fantastic and they will cater to dietary requirements.

What an absolute dump. Spent $48 on a steak with the mash stone cold when it came out. Rest of the food was ordinary at best. Visitor to the area so didnt know how bad it was. Was great having the smoking area right next to eating tables outside also.

The venue itself is clean, comfortable, and has a great vibe whether you’re there for a relaxed meal, drinks with friends, or just to enjoy the local atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend the Caloundra Hotel to anyone visiting the area!

Ordered a large deluxe fried rice, price said $14.80 on the menu but was charged $18.... Size wasn't even a large, medium at best. Average quality. Rang to query the price but was told prices went up 2 weeks ago & sjggested they update menu prices online n the owners didnt even care.Very over priced, wont be back.

Sensational food. Best Chinese I've eaten in years. Great, friendly service too. Yes the price is a little higher than you'd expect and you may wait a little, but once you've tasted the food you'll understand. This food is freshly prepared, so it takes a little longer. And it tastes better as a result. Worth the extra couple of dollars and few minutes to get quality.

Was one of the best around. Has now changed owners and food was really salty and left a coating on mouth and tongue. Fried rice was gluggy and tasteless. I think they are using way too much MSG. It is a shame. Definitely won't be back.

Disappointing. The food was good, but there were other issues. I was expecting the waitress to say "And what would you like?" but instead I got "You gunna order?". There was water on the table, but we were not offered any other beverage, nor did there appear to be any on the menu. Not even a cup of Chinese Tea. Nor were we offered any dessert or shown a menu for same, although I know there was one. I was also charged for a container to take away my excess meal in. So they missed out on a lot of business. We just ate our mains, drank our water and left. Because of the above, I only give it 2 stars.

Often get our takeaways from here and haven’t had much of an issue. It was unfortunate that after taking my order (2 x hot Tom yum fried rice and 2 x Normal Tom yum fried rice) over the phone, I was asked to collect in 20 mins. After getting there in 20 mins, I had to wait another 15mins. at the counter as the staff (young girl) kept ignoring me going back and forth several times. Finally when she acknowledged me, she said it’s going to take another 15mins. No apologies from her end, in spite of me making her aware of the sloppy customer service. Finally, I grabbed my order and came home to notice that the food quantity was way too less that what it used to be, barely had any chicken pieces and the hot container had chillies chopped and garnished on the top. In short lost another regular customer. 🙁

We Tuk Tucked into some nice Thai & was surprised at the quality of each dish. Massaman Lamb was the clear winner on this night. Heaps of dishes to pick from so we might have to return & give this one another go. Very busy little place & lots of staff - good signs for the locals. #facxual_events

The place was ok. We had an abundance of flies outside. The food was ok but not startling. I had seafood laksa and sweet and sour seafood. Certainly had better. On the same note.. I have also had worse. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Neat little venue, casual atmosphere and doggos welcome at the front tables.. exceptional value for money. Waitress was a little concerned for me ordering the Tum Tad offered for me to have it mild, I declined and asked for it just the way it would normally come out. It has 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 beside it on the menu. I'm a massive fan of green paw paw salad and this one did not disappoint. With wee little crabs with shell intact, tossed about in it was a flavour explosion when combined with the crispy pork crackling, fried pork, rice vermicelli and greens. Word of warning if your not a chilli head like me probably choose something else. It's just not the same when it's not spicey.. Other dish was crispy pork belly with basil. It was also very tastey loads of basil flavour.. After we had finished Waitress came to see how it all went, she informed me she was very surprised I'd finished my meal, apparently not a regular order for an Aussie.. 💖 that she was able to share that.

Disappointed!!! Visited here last night! It was just awful! This is so sad as me and my family are frequent diners at Tuk Tuk. This restaurant has changed owners. Starters we had spring rolls and fish cake, the spring rolls were bought from a supermarket not fresh also we could tell as they were all the same size (no one can roll fresh spring rolls and get them all identical if they are fresh), the fish cakes were like rubber couldn't taste fish. Mains - We had the spicy fried rice which was grey and dry no taste. To be honest I couldn't tel which was the pork and chicken as I asked for two meats. My daughter had noodles they were like the vacuum pack fresh thick noodles and tasted like rubber. Husband had thai curry (I thought he'd ordered the soup). One ok meal was the sizzler beef in black bean and that was just it OK. I have been going to this restaurant for years and in 2018 I give it 5 stars! I couldn't rate it highly enough. If they would have asked how my meal was I would have provided feedback, but they didn't. I will not be a return customer.

The peanut sauce crispy prawn was amazing, went here a month(ish) ago. Veggies were perfect! Also ordered a stir fry dish, can't remember which one but it was very nice. Only downside was the very loud out-of-place music

Good quality food, this has been our go-to Thai in the area for years. The dine-in experience does need updating desperately though. Printing some new menus that are not falling apart would be a great start.. I think i have been ordering off the exact same dodgy ones for 2 years now :/

We absolutely loved it here! The food was delicious beef ribs were fall apart and some of the best we’ve ever had. We also really enjoyed the spicy margaritas that had a decent amount of spice. Thank you so much! 😊

The food was nice and the service was friendly and efficient. A bit too efficient. We were served our main course before we had finished our starter. If we were local we would go again. The menu was flexible in terms of spice. A chilli sauce was an option with a heat measurement between 1 - 6 to spice up the food if required.

Terrible. Over priced. Meals were too spicy and small for the price. Lemon lime and bitters the worst I've ever tasted. Do not waste your time or money. $15 for kids nachos, seriously it was 50 cents worth of corn chips with some spicy meat.

Used to come here when it was Montezumas, now it's still the same with a different name. The food is still simple, but healthy & tasty with a good spice hit & plenty of chilli for the asking. They do good sangria & also have wine & the service is great

Ordered uber eats worth nearly $100 and the entire order was wrong ! All we got was three tacos..we tried talking to the uber driver and he gave false promises of a full refund which didn’t happen we still had to pay $50 even tho we waited over an hour for the wrong delivery don’t order from here unless you like to be ripped off

ordered over 105$ worth of nachos (2 nachos) (+ jalapeño poppers which were not good at all) and received the SINGLE most disgusting, rancid, smelly bowl of bland, hard nachos which consisted of cheap corn chips, dry, unseasoned mushroom that resembled a dead rat, and a small serving horrible sweet vegan cheese that had obviously been microwaved ontop of the disaster. 3 ingredient nachos. Pablo’s tex mex has single handedly become the only food we have ever ordered that had 1: made our jaw hit the floor when we opened the box 2: tasted absolutely horrible in line with it’s appearance 3: made us feel sick during and after nibbling on it 4: had to be removed from the room bc it smelled so bad and 5: thrown out, after spending 100+ dollars on it, because I could neither force myself to eat, nor my very unpicky bf to eat this mess. It was literally inedible. just being honest, listen to the reviews lol

This quaint small restaurant is popular due to the friendly service, tasty food, and relaxing ambience. The few staff work hard supporting both takeaway orders and table orders so be prepared to wait at times. Pad Thai noodles and green curry were delicious however the crispy pork belly was lacking crisp and pork. Overall a pleasant dining experience.

I have eaten here a few times but unfortunately the food or service wasn't up to it's usual standard. The chicken pho's broth virtually tasted like a stock cube in water, no flavour at all and the crispy pork definitely wasn't crispy. There was one young girl serving who clearly was out of her depth. People were helping themselves to the drinks out of the fridge and getting there own glasses from the rack as there was no service. Very disappointing experience.

You said that we were trying to ruin your restaurant by leaving a one-star review. Let me make it clear — we are a group of four people, three Vietnamese and one Australian. All of us found the food unbearably salty and inedible. Every dish was dripping with oil, and the meats were mushy with a rancid smell. Your so-called “coconut rice” was just overcooked rice mixed with canned coconut milk, hastily microwaved — half of it was hot while the other half was cold. Do you call that ethical business practice? We complained directly to the waitress right away, yet she completely ignored us and still charged $130 for such a disgusting meal. I have never seen any restaurant treat customers like this. Not only did we waste our money, but we also left with frustration — and now, after leaving a review, we’re being insulted by the owner? Truly a place that embodies everything terrible.

Had a communication issue trying to get noodle with my Chicken Ginger & Shallots but all our meals were great, perfect Asian vegetables with each dish. A little expensive but it's 1 street back from Golden Beach Caloundra. Uninteresting Cafe style so I would take away if your staying close by.

Decided to try this venue on Saturday night 31st August ordered before 6pm and was told 25-30min wait for takeaway. After waiting 45mins I enquired about whether our pizzas were ready- they had been sitting there for a while. The girls (3 of them) who were front staff are lazy and never bothered to check anyone waiting outside who had ordered takeaway. There were multiple people who needed to ask whether their food was ready. There were only 4 tables with customers inside, so they weren’t busy, but every time the kitchen staff rang the bell the girls continued to chat amongst themselves. The pizza we got was ordinary to say the least, I think Domino’s pizza has better toppings and the base wasn’t special either for $27 per pizza this place needs to be avoided at all costs.

Very disappointed with the food from here. It was a wasted opportunity to experience local cuisine while on our holiday. While the young lady who greeted us as the door was friendly, the pizza lacked toppings and flavour and left us ultimately feeling as though we were eating little other than pizza base and cheese. It didn't taste like traditional wood fired pizza at all and was comparable to a fast food pizza chain like Dominos or Pizza Hut. Massively overpriced for what you get. Take my advice and try something else, otherwise prepare to be disappointed.

Friendly staff, clean place. Pizza was a let down, toppings sliding off, bit of extra cheese on the base could help bind it. Base tasty, but a bit too flimsy. Gotta be better if you're asking $27 for a 12" pizza.

We were just visiting Caloundra for the day and dropped in here with a group of 10 with very short notice. The pizzas and pasta were super tasty and all the food came out together which I didn’t expect as the restaurant was busy. Lean front of house staff but friendly and attentive. We would come back on our next trip to Caloundra.

A good spot for dinner. The woodfired pizza was a generous size, decent toppings and can easily be shared with 2 people. A little taste of Italy on the Sunshine Coast.

Salami pizza with Mushrooms and Olives. Salami had zero flavour, tomato base tasted like straight tomarto paste. Otherwise a good pizza and really helpfull freindly staff.

The best vegetarian pizza I ever had. It was full of fresh vegetable toppings with great flavours. My family enjoyed the pizza and we were impressed with the services. We are definitely visiting this place again.

The sweet & sour pork was flavourful, tender, a huge serving and a reasonable price. The prawn chips are delightfully crispy & fresh. The service was friendly & fast, I’ll be going here for my Chinese from now on😊

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever tried. The beef and black bean was to die for. The honey king prawns were also really good and a great special fried rice. Would highly recommend and the old sever with pink hair was super attentive and made our day. Will definitely be back!

Ordered Take Away Chicken with Cashew Nuts, a Combination Chow Mien, Steamed Rice and Prawn Crackers. The mains were ok, put the spoon in to get some rice to see the rice was a yellowish colour underneath the top layer and the Prawn Crackers were really greasy. As we had takeaway I haven’t rated the Atmosphere but all tables were empty. Overall disappointing,

We had takeaways and it was so good; the pork and vegetables came with a colourful fresh array of mixed veg and plenty of meat - very tasty and huge serves.

The actual restaurant is clean but lacks a lot of decorative aspects however if the food is good that can always be ignored right? Well the food was okay, the chow mein was not chow mein as advertised but was actually mein gon. Spring rolls and dim sums were dry.

I've eaten at a lot of bad Chinese restaurants over the years but this is the only one bad enough to compel me to leave a bad review. The sweet and sour pork pieces were the size of golf balls but was made up of undercooked batter that was so thick it might as well be cake with tiny pieces of meat inside. The braised beef was pale and tasteless, and the portions were small. The water jug they served water in smelled of seafood as did the water itself. The only saving grace was the Chinese tea which was overpriced considering they're made with tea bags. Overall, overpriced and just awful, awful food.

Portion sizes are big. Great service and food was ready quickly. Honey chicken and sweet and sour pork pieces were huge and didnt taste great because of it. Plum sauce was extremely salty. Value for money absolutely but taste was disappointing
