PLEASE COME HERE!! This place is amazing, with an atmosphere giving garden vibes, small waterfalls, lovely quiet area with not many people, and don't even get me started on the food. The pizza is singlehandedly one of the best pizzas I have ever had! Woodfired to the crust, pizza was sloppy which I personally like! The Meatlovers had so much tasty meat!- pause... 🥩 Anyway everything about this place is amazing, the pizza did take a little while to make but thats to be expected when it's made from scratch, apple juice was good

This place is really nice. Staff were great. Good beers on tap. Pizza was great. I ordered the Brewongle pizza. Great crust and yum meat toppings. Will return again when in Bathurst again. Classy place.

What an amazing opportunity to experience the ambience of Church Bar all by myself. It was a Wednesday afternoon at about 3pm. I was greeted by Natalie, who is friendly and easy to talk with. She allowed me to read and smell all of the Archie Rose whisky bottles. Delicious pizza with extra oomph from the homemade chilli oil. Chill music playlist. An amazing spot to read a book when there’s little to no customers about. Thank you for a fantastic experience.

Beautiful hidden gem of a place in Bathurst! Hunting down the alleys looking for this place is soo totally worth it! And then reading the story about why the alley had its name was really cool. Food was great too

I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re expecting good customer service. The man behind the bar, who I believe runs the business, was rude and unprofessional. At one point, he was loudly arguing with the chef in full view and earshot of the customers. While the food was good, the experience was spoiled by the poor service. I felt like I was an inconvenience just for being there, as if I was expected to eat quickly and leave.

I was absolutely blown away by this restaurant. From the moment I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised - the owner greeted us with such warmth and genuine politeness that it immediately set the tone for the evening. The décor is incredible: every corner is full of thoughtful details and beautiful touches, making it a feast for the eyes before the food even arrives. And the food! We ordered the Southern fried chicken and it was phenomenal - crispy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. If I lived closer I’d be here all the time. This place is an absolute gem and worth every bit of the trip. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is one that we had booked a table at during our week at the Repco 1000 motor race. It was great that we had booked a month in advance as we arrived at our allocated time and we're shown to our table straight away. Was quite cool to be greeted by the barman as soon as we walked in the door as well. The decor is really well done and the place has an intimate type feeling. There were booths, tables for 2 or 4 as well as larger tables for bigger groups. It didn't feel cramped at all. The food was delicious. That's really all I can say about it. The pork main I had was so tender and flavorful. My partner's Goulash main was also great. This would have been on of the best restaurant meals we have had in the last two years. We were pleasantly surprised and not disappointed at all. I would happily eat here again and certainly recommend it. The service was great even though they were really busy. The beer was also very tasty. Will be back next year so please still be open.

My partner and I had the best experience dining at the Dogwood, we were in town for a night and on the drive I searched for dinner options, once I found the dogwood I knew my partner would love it so we made a reservation. What I didn’t think was how much I WOULD LOVE IT, I’m not a big meat eater but holy, the meat I did have was INCREDIBLE, along with every thing else I ate (which was a lot, to the point I wanted to unbutton my pants), my partner had the best meal of his life and now wants to move just to be closer to this restaurant 😂 The cocktails were AMAZING! The service was friendly, attentive and funny! The food and drinks are spectacular! Our experience here is unmatched and I will be driving the 6hours to dine here again 💛

The food is amazingly delicious and genuine Thai here and the ambience and vibe of charming and iconic Bathurst, everything together was 11/10! We had the mixed entree and chicken skewers for entrees, red duck Massaman curry and pad thai extra spicy with coconut rice. We had two fun yummy mocktails too! All amazingly delicious! Service was also exceptiona!

The Terrace Thai Restaurant and was truly impressed. From the moment we stepped in, the warm, inviting atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel at home. The ambiance was perfect—peaceful, cozy, and ideal for a relaxed meal. If you’re craving authentic Thai flavors and don’t mind treating yourself, The Terrace Thai is worth a visit.

As authentic Thai as you can get in the heart of Bathurat! My wife and I popped in to have our 14th Anniversary dinner and were not disappointed. The decor and ambiance took us back to our anniversary in Phuket, Koh Samui and Bangkok. The place is so inviting and the feel is just like when we were in Thailand. The food is so good, full of flavour and you can taste every spice, it's rich and amazing. Staff were very attentive without being intrusive, the wine list was good(a little too many Sauvignon Blanc, but hey that's what the market wants) I was really impressed with the price, we had 2 full meals & a bottle of wine and came out spending less than $100! That has never happened to us anywhere in Australia. The menu is awesome with plenty of gluten free options! We had the Spicy Eggplant with Chicken and the Samui Lighthouse Curry......unreal! We'll definitely be back to try more delicacies from the menu very soon.

We arrived during the peak dinner rush and were promptly seated at an outdoor table by a waiter. Upon request, the heater beside us was switched on, making the setting comfortably warm. The dishes adapted to suit local palates. Parking is plentiful, with several car spaces available both in the rear lot and along the street.

An excellent meal. Fast, efficient and friendly service. Meals tasted great. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good atmosphere. Plenty of parking nearby. Toilets located near the outdoor seating. Open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Open till 9:30pm every night. BYO wine and champagne only. Pay by cash or credit card. We will be back. We thoroughly enjoy visiting this restaurant.

If you are looking for delicious Thai food and a great atmosphere in Bathurst, this place is by far the top choice. Prices are slightly higher compared to other spots in the area, but the quality of the food and the relaxing, open feel of the outdoor terrace make it well worth it. If you are dining with a group of four or more, there are good-value set menu options available, which I highly recommend. The ambience and food are always excellent. However, the one thing I wish they would improve is the service system. The call buttons on the tables rarely seem to work. Even when pressed, there is usually a wait, and it often feels like there are not enough staff on the floor. I have also noticed that the staff tend to be very young and seem like they might be trainees. For a place with premium pricing, the service could definitely be better. There is also a small discount if you pay with cash, so be sure to bring some with you. Despite this minor issue, this restaurant remains the go-to spot for Thai cuisine in Bathurst. It is almost always busy, and for good reason.

What an amazing place. I booked ahead and from being greeted by name at the door right through three courses of the most amazing, well presented and flavoursome dishes, I was blown away. The atmosphere, hospitality and professionalism made for a very enjoyable dining experience. Can't wait to get back.

The restaurant deserves 4.5 stars. We had dinner and the restaurant uses a set price menu for 2 or 3 courses. The selection is quite limited with about 5 selections for each course. (No bread in case you like that with dinner.) Having said that, All our food was delicious and well presented. We all agreed we would definitely order again. Highlights were the squid and prawn dishes. Friendly staff and good service too

It was a very nice experience at this place when we passed through Bathurst on our way to Orange. The atmosphere is good, the staff are friendly. The pumpkin soup and seafood pasta that we ordered were delightful to eat.

A lovely lunch spot in a historic building. We thought the building was cute hence decided to have lunch in one of the places. We had the pasta of the day special and chicken baguette, they're both good, well made. The service was attentive and lovely. It was a fairly popular place with a nice view to the park opposite. Overall a great experience for us.

What a wonderful place to have lunch. The welcome and complete service from the manager, Julie, was OUTSTANDING- both warm and professional- THANKYOU so much for your effort, it is most appreciated. Kitchen staff were focused and also impressive. Our food and selected wine were top class. An added bonus of this experience was seeing another table get the chicken snitzel- it looked so fresh, generous and tasty. Accordingly we intend to return very soon. We recommend both locals and visitors to come here for lunch or a special occassion Saturday dinner.

We chose the $35 banquet and the meal was delicious. We went on a very busy Friday night, and I gave it four stars instead of five because of a booking issue. Even though I left a message a week before, they didn’t have our reservations. Luckily, they found us a table, but it was small and made the dining experience a bit uncomfortable. Service was efficient and we didn’t have to wait long for the food.

If you are a meat lover - this place absolutely for you! Great quality fresh Lebanese food in its best traditions. Recommended by locals and no regrets ever. One main is sized enough for a god meal. Adding up salad to share makes it totally enough for a massive dinner. Very recommend to share between friends for the best experience. Book in advance as place is not too big but quite popular.

The $34pp banquet for two was incredible. Tasty lamb mince sausage, chicken and prawns; salads; dips; bread; and sweets. The serving was so generous we took home the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The Lebanese restaurants in Sydney would attract even more customers with a menu like Maaloufs.

We dined here after reading some positive reviews and we weren't disappointed. This restaurant is a MUST SEE when you're in Bathurst. Delicious food, helpful and attentive staff. We chose the banquet option from the menu and we were very impressed with the quality and quantity of the food; from the entrees, to the delicious dips choices to the main meals. We could barely finish the food. We will definitely return. I would recommend a reservation as the restaurant can get busy on Saturday nights.

The service was terrible, and the waiting times were incredibly long, even during off-peak hours on weekdays. The butter chicken was delicious, but the cheese garlic nan was too cheesy, and the goat curry was sour with an overpowering tomato base. Overall, the quality was average.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Tamarin restaurant. The cheese naan was outstanding—fresh, crispy, and crunchy, just perfect! The rest of the food was also good, making for a delightful meal overall. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great Indian cuisine.

Very good restaurant in a small town like Bathurst! I brought my family here for dinner. We had a very good time! Great ambience, a great place to experience Indian culture! Outstanding services from waitresses! Foods to table are fast, and delicious curry! Lamb shanks, and vindaloo are must tries! BYO allowed, corkage $3 per person. Highly recommend!

Great food and vibe ..it's impressive how they created an Indian paradise in Bathurst . Food is really good but the authentic inlay furniture will blow you out.. from far it looks drawn over but they actually are the real deal brought in from Punjab. The staff was really nice and accomodating

Outstanding! How lucky are the locals to have a cafe of this standard in your city. Was travelling through Bathurst and decided on a late breakfast at this cafe. Warm friendly greeting in a busy cafe . Served promptly with coffees arriving soon followed by our breakfast selections. The corn fritters were amazing and my partners double egg and bacon roll got the thumbs up as well . Coffee was also excellent. Couldn’t not fault anything and deserved my 5 stars

We visit Country Coffee regularly. Mostly for coffee, but occasionally we have breakfast or lunch. The coffee is consistently amazing, & the staff are friendly, efficient, happy & welcoming. When we do have a meal, it is always on point. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Jane & her amazing team. Congratulations team, keep up the great coffee, food & service 10/10

Absolutely loved every lick from the first to the last… The group I was with were all hoping that there would be Rum and Raisin Ice Cream, they were a little disappointed….maybe that’s a flavour Annie’s could work on!!

This is a must stop for me, each time I visit Bathurst. I recommend this place anyone, especially if you have kids. Their retro décor reminds me of the diners in the past. The Sofala Gold ice cream is the most popular 🙂

A must stop location when visiting Bathurst. My go to ice cream flavour is the Bridle Track. A delectable chocolate ice cream full of extras like marshmallows and lolly pieces. Take across the park to sit and enjoy.

Found this place on our way back to Sydney from Cowra and the food was surprisingly good for an Asian restaurant in Bathurst! Love their spicy pho 💕. Locations hidden in a shopping center, service is fast and it seems busy even after lunch time

A wonderful Vietnamese restaurant in Bathurst. Its a massive space too. We have a Tofu & Vege yellow curry with Grilled Chicken and Rice. Both dishes were wonderful, served well and quickly too. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a delicious meal.

My visit to Anam Restaurant in Bathurst was fantastic, with the standout menus being the delicious Vietnamese cuisine. However, the takeaway portion sizes were a slight disappointment. The Stir-fry Chicken Vegetable and Stir-fried Beef Vegetable dishes were flavourful, but the serving sizes were unexpectedly small, especially considering the $27 price tag for each. The containers were only half full, which seemed more suitable for a child's meal. Unfortunately, I ended up feeling peckish and pretty hungry still. Consider increasing the serving sizes to elevate the overall dining experience 🤔😊

Jun-22: went for lunch over the June long weekend. We ordered the same mains and were blown away. Highly recommend this place Jan-22; Wow, unbelievable. The food taste and quality is so good, and the prices are so affordable, I don't know how they do it. The service is friendly and professional and they were happy to accept some substitutions. Spring rolls: 4 stars, a little too meaty for me, but crisp and nice flavour Scallop and prawn dumplings: 5 stars, seems homemade and ingredients seem fresh Beef pho: 5 stars, nice soup, lots of beef. No sprouts but you get cabbage instead. Big serve Chicken pho with crispy skin chicken: 5 stars again, nice broth and the chicken is juicy whilst the skin is super crispy Crispy skin chicken with garlic rice: 5 stars again, nice (chicken broth), the garlic rice is perfectly eggy and garlicy. The crispy skin chicken is a good match for this dish. I added the fresh chilli to the fish sauce to kick it up a notch. One of our party loved it so much, she wanted to know how we could come back to eat again before we leave Bathurst! They are inside the arcade, so it may be a little hard to miss. Thank you for taking such good care of us and making such yummy food. They are also super modest, I tried to leave a big tip, but they wouldn't accept it!

Recommended. The special beef noodle soup was very good. Lemongrass chicken tastes good, but the chicken breast was too dry. We will come back next time when picking cherries next year.

Thrilled to have found a viet restaurant in Bathurst. We approached dinner tonight with a slight sense of apprehension as lofty weight of expectations could crash right before us at our first dish. This could be the first Vietnamese restaurant that i have tried in a country town therefore i wanted everything to be right with this experience. I am happy to say that the overall experience was positive as all the core flavours and essence of each dish was gracefully captured. My bon bo hue was tasty but slightly underwhelmed due to the reduced spicy level to accomodate the locals. They ran out of tomato rice tonight but more than made up for it with a garlic rice concoction. Overall i was quite satisfied with tonight's experience and i hope they will continue to improve and challenge the local palate

Service was very inexperienced but it didn’t affect the excellent food. This restaurant is in a very basic shopping centre, but the tables are well spaced and you can hear each other talk. Highly recommend.

Very romantic vibes, and I love the lighting setup. The food is beautiful and filling. The staff are super friendly, the owner is amazing at his work. Although when busy the food and service can take some time. They have a small kitchen, so be a little mindful of that.

El Gaupo Cantina an authentic Mexican style restaurant located in the heart of Bathurst! Offering a friendly inviting venue with Mexican theme decor, garden lights and places and really relaxing vibe. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Ordered a takeaway order for tonight (Friday). Rang and was told it would be an hour, which we agreed was fine. Arrived right on time and could hear the chef exclaim that we were 10 minutes early (definitely weren’t considering the time we were told our food would be ready), and that we would need to wait the 10 minutes. That was fine. Our frozen takeaway drinks were then given to us. We ordered large and were told there were no large cups left and given regular which was a significant size drop in what we were after. The ‘regular’ definitely seems more like a small, and was slightly disappointing to receive. We then ended up waiting over 25 minutes for our food after being told to wait 10, our drinks were melted, and unfortunately there was no real acknowledgment for the time we waited. Part of our meal was clearly made before the rest and was left in the bag as it was slightly cold and had the solidified grease and oil in the bottom of the container. The portions have seemed to drop from when we used to attend regularly a couple months ago, yet the food was still tasty. We did enjoy our dinner, but we have been slightly soured since this interaction.

Went reopening night for my Dads birthday. The food was amazing, we had a couple of entrees, the jalapeño poppers and chicken quesadilla. For a main I had the giant chimichanga with chicken. Everything was so fresh and flavourful, keen to get back and try the rest of the menu!

We were a large groups for lunch on a Saturday. We ordered a variety of dishes and all were good. I can highly recommend the fish tacos and frozen margaritas, some the other dishes missed some salt but when added where very decent. Overall a good luck option in Bathurst.

Ordered a handful of dishes for pick up and was pleasently surprised by all. Star surpise was the nopalos, with a nice zing to it. Full of flavour. There was free churros deal for spending x amount, these were a nice to end the meal. Corn was delicious. Chicken, Lamb and pork were all good! Sadly because we had these taken away, all were soggy and most of lost some awesomeness. Will try and return to eat in next time. At pick up, it looked very welcoming and just nice to sit and hang, eat and drink in the courtyard.

It was my partner’s birthday and I was planning a day trip together for the day and had to find a place for dinner. Bathurst seemed to have a number of good restaurants but most of them were Modern Australian cuisine and I wanted something different, and boy am I so glad I found this place. As a fan of good Mexican food, this place is by far one of the very best places I’ve ever eaten at in Australia. The chicken quesadilla, guacamole, charred corn with cheese, chicken tacos and fish tacos that we ordered were brilliant and I couldn’t stop nodding my head when I was eating them (a sign I am very much enjoying the food I’m eating). The flavours were exceptional and after having eaten so much I actually did not feel gross or terrible afterwards but quite alert and “light”. Must’ve been all the cabbage and avocado that was in the food. The beef fajita we ordered was ok, the meat tasted like if you seasoned meat with an Old El Paso taco kit (and I’m personally not really a fan of fajitas or Old El Paso). On top of that, the service is absolutely top notch and what I would consider gold standard. The waitresses are very attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Thankfully there is a store in Neutral Bay which I am keen to check out at some point because the drive to Bathurst is simply too far to make on the regular. If you’re in Bathurst, you HAVE to eat at this place! Thanks to the people who created this store, you deserve very high praise for the food you’re serving.

Ribs were cooked very well but Mac and cheese had very little cheese on it and tasted of nothing at all, had to chuck a load of Tabasco on it just to be able to eat a few mouthfuls but left the majority, cheesy garlic bread was actually just a dry piece of ciabatta with an undetectable amount of cheese on one side, no garlic flavour. Brisket was 50% good and 50% dry. Took 35 mins to get our food as well.

B Town BBQ has potential, but my visit was a bit disappointing. I ordered the brisket, and unfortunately, it was very dry — not the tender, juicy cut I was hoping for. The flavors were okay, but the texture really let the dish down. I’ve had much better brisket elsewhere, so this one missed the mark for me. Hopefully, it was just an off day in the kitchen, because I wanted to like it more than I did.

'Bottomless brunch' should be more clear. The page does say bottomless cocktails but does not say that the food is only one round, not bottomless as well. Given this, the serving size is not adequate for a group with some dishes seeming to be just oven food. I'd expect a better standard. This venue is nice, has potential to be better, and should improve. Staff were friendly enough, layout is good with a nice terrace area.

At here got the ribs Mac and cheese and mash. All microwaved ALL COLD I’ve had much better food on an aeroplane. Not to mention the stuff up with our drinks at the bar

Okay, so Mama Mio has the best equal first best pizza in Bathurst. Equal first to another place that has a thicker base but two different styles. Not mentioning names. Lol.. My partner loves the Garlic prawns, but I'm allergic to shellfish 🦐 so I can't comment. The pizzas here are consistently amazing!! Five stars.. As a fifo worker, I rate this place. Especially coming from Sydney where there are great pizza venues. Mama Mio is up there with the best. Great prices & value for money!

Great little Italian restaurant, with the food cooked 'semi'gourmet style (not like the normal quick takeaway pizza quality), but with reasonable price point. The pizza dough is perfect thickness and chewy, the filling is fine, pasta also cooked perfectly and flavour is balanced. Would definitely come again!

First of all, it's great to have an Italian restaurant within Bathurst, something that I've been longing for. And to have one with so many options on the menu is even more a bonus. On first arriving, the restaurant was buzzing with a good atmosphere. It was packed out and got worried that we hadn't booked. But there was a table for us in no time. Staff very friendly and up front with us, advised that it could be upto 45 minutes before our mains came out, which we didn't mind. Gave us enough time to enjoy the entree anyway, so worked out perfect. Garlic Pizza Entree 🍕 😋 tasty, hot and great size and value. Gnocchi Carbornara: packed with flavour, top value and very yummy. Pesto Chicken 🐔: again, great and full of flavour. Compliments to the chef, a fantastic meal and will be back to try some more options. 😋. As for prices, it is VERY well priced and we noticed someone previously complain about it in another review; trust me, it's great value and the meal sizes are huge. We are just a tourist, walked pass here because we couldnt find restaurants that is opened during summer holiday. Surprisingly very yummy. Beautiful carbonara pasta and pizza. Almost want to lick the plate. Lovely people and service.

It's funny going into an Asian operation that serves Italian food, but Mama Mio gets it right. My fettucini was aldente ( thank you Marco Polo?) And the bolognese sauce was perfectly balanced. I would rate their pizza as good as the best in Bathurst. Thanks for being open on Sunday evenings guys!

Food was great, nice and warm in there, our split pizza was marvellous and Greek salad was so refreshing and authentic. I discovered two small bugs in my salad, I was upset though and still finished the salad.

This was the 1st that we have visited Mamma Mio and let me tell you it certainly won’t be our last! The staff are so friendly, attentive and happy and all get on with each other. This is nice to see. We had gluten free boscaiola, gluten free prosciutto and fungi pizza and an Italian salad, all were delicious. They are BYO and have an extremely cheap corkage, $3 per head and the glassware is also really nice to drink from. To the team, we can’t wait to come back, you made our dinner, thank you 😊

Really good all round well done Norma Joan :) a lovely shining star in beautiful Bathurst. A gorgeous spring afternoon, high class food and a relaxed atmosphere with prompt well informed service. Sure, it isn’t the place if you are starving and need a huge burger asap- it’s more of a delightful, special, cobbled courtyard with little tables and succinct, well done small dishes and excellent cocktails, happy staff and it’s somewhere to bring your special someone (or a table of special someone’s). Love the happy hour prices with wines and beers and love that the music on Father’s Day was soft and gentle. Well done all round. Great service by Michael and all staff. All dishes were very well done, sauces especially good and smooth- well done chef. The desert- Norma jones dumplings were sooooo lovely it transported us back to our grandmas suet pudding!

It is great to see a young Chef back himself and take the leap to open his own venue. This is an extremely daunting process and I have to Chef Michael Madden has done an amazing job and is the perfect host! His chef team and front of house team are amazing and clearly love working with Michael and enjoy theirs jobs. Chef Michael has definitely put an enormous amount of thought behind his concept, decor, food, wine, cocktails as well as his trading hours. It is great to see such a wonderful venue open on a Monday & Tuesday evening to support all the other local F&B venues so they have a place to go on their nights off, not to mention us locals and the tourists who choose to have a long weekend in Bathurst. The menu is seasonal and consists of a lot of local produce, with some creative flair and flavours! The wine list, while is very local NSW does offer some other specials, every wine would work well with the menu. The spirit and beers selection also features some great local distillers and brewers. OH WOW.....the food was insane and full of bang on flavours. Their kitchen is smaller than the one I have at home but the chef team is all over it and punch out amazing dishes. While it is a little pricey, what restaurant isn't it with the price of fresh produce, it is so worth every dollar spent. The quality was second to none and the presentation awesome. This is a great local spot with new faces. The quality of the food was excellent. You can tell they put a lot of thought into their menu and have spent a lot of time sourcing regional ingredients where possible. The Anchovy Toast was the highlight of the meal for me. The Steak Frites a close second. We didn’t have dessert but watched a few roll out and they looked amazing. I can’t wait to see how they go from strength to strength as the new business settles into their rhythm.

The food was outstanding - freshly shucked Coffin Bay Oysters, morsels of croquettes, locally sourced ribeye cooked to perfection and the highlight - the eggplant cutlets. The Figroni was their playful twist to the classic Negroni and an Amaro Montenegro rounded off the evening.

Norma Joan’s is one of those places that just makes you feel at home the moment you walk in. The food has that comforting, home-cooked flavour that instantly reminds you of being in your Nana’s kitchen—simple, hearty, and made with love. Can highly recommend the oysters, croquettes, ravioli and streak ☺️ The vintage crockery and glassware is gorgeous and takes you back to being a kid and visiting your Nana. And who can forget Michael, the host. He does a fantastic job of making everyone feel welcome. He’s warm, genuine, and has a way of making you feel like family rather than just another customer. So if you’re looking for somewhere cosy, delicious, and full of heart, I highly recommend Norma Joan’s.

The place is easy to find. Lots of parking. Decent menu size with different options. The staff are very friendly and quick. The food was really good but I was super dissatisfied with my overcooked eggs. I got eggs Benny and ended up with hard-boiled eggs. The coffee was hit and miss, two were good and the other one was bitter. Really lovely atmosphere and decor. Inside and outside seating. Heaters on outside and birds flying around. Would recommend.

I had lunch here with four others. I have been coming to this venue for years, typically for atmospheric reasons. The service was really great; friendly, fast and on point when you need someone. One problem - the Cuban Toastie. The sandwich in my photos is the $22 disappointment of my day. More can be done here on both value and taste. My companions enjoyed their respective meals, one saying it was the best tomato soup they’ve ever had ($17.70). I sampled the pumpkin salad. I’m not sure it had sharp enough flavours to inspire me to order it on my next visit.

Stopped here on a whim for a late lunch and was not disappointed! Beautiful coffee and delicious food. Service was friendly and quick too which is always a plus. The outdoor area looked lovely, but was a bit cold out so I sat inside which was comfortable.

Wow! This cafe served up an absolutely divine breakfast experience that transcends the usual five-star rating. From the moment I stepped in, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingling with the delicious smell of fresh food truly set the stage. My Sri Lankan fried eggs were perfection on a plate – flawlessly prepared, with every ingredient singing in harmony, all served alongside perfectly toasted Turkish bread. A lovely spot for breakfast. Can see why it's popular. We arrived before 830am and were promptly served by a team of friendly staff. We had the eggs Benedict and breakky roll, they're both great. The flat white was good. The cafe has a nice outdoor area as it was 5 degrees we didn't brave ourselves to try that. Overall a positive experience.

We attended this venue due to it offering plenty of Gluten free options, to only discover the menu online to be vastly different to what was actually availible. Our table wasnt ready and wasnt initally availible when we walked in for our reservation. Not having alot of what was on the menu availible (including ham & cheese crossaints) on one of the busiest weekends in the calendar was very poor. The food that came out was just edible but absolutely not what was advertised photo to show "smashed avo" that was supposed to have feta and lemon aswell, standing in line for 20 minutes to pay for it was the icing on the cake here. Wouldn't recommend

We stopped into Piccolos for a Sunday breakfast during a visit to Bathurst. The service was quick and friendly, the coffee was excellent and the food was delicious. Our group tried a number of dishes and they were all great. I had the chilli scrambled eggs which had a great balance of heat and a generous serving of sourdough. Definitely recommend.

This by far the best chilli scramble eggs I’ve ever had!👌 (added extra bacon & hash brown on the side) The pink latte was really good too. There’s an outdoor space if you have a pet. Service could be a bit slow if you’re sitting outside (quite understandable since they were busy)- but the food was definitely worth it! Will come back💯

I only come here for the food and I like the scramble eggs on toast, the home made hashbrown is good too. Also good to see Patrick again as I knew him from Porters cafe, a good employee to keep. Keep up the good work. Highly recommended for the food and customer service.

The café has a lovely atmosphere and feels welcoming at first. Unfortunately, the service let the experience down. The staff didn’t seem engaged - no smiles, constant sighing, little warmth, and an overall annoyed attitude, as if they didn’t want to work on a Saturday morning. I also felt uncomfortable as the waitress kept staring, not in an attentive way, but in a judging way. The food was okay. My poached eggs were solid and our smoked salmon dishes were disappointing, with too many large bones to pick out and some strange chewy bits that took away from the enjoyment. Overall, this could have been a decent experience if the staff had shown a bit more care and professionalism.

No doubt the best place for breakfast in the area. Being a big groups we tried different options and all were perfectly cooked and delicious. If you like something not quite usual try The Lumberjack - a combination of sweet Belgium waffle with maple syrup and savory beacon with eggs. Very tasty 😋. Special good words for cute country style surroundings🏡. And a very special thank you to Andy for exceptional service 💅🏻

Had lunch here today, have always enjoyed grabbing a coffee and something to eat here. It is clear however that the cafe has changed hands. Walked in, waited to be seated, and waited. The young lady that eventually came to help had been sitting in the empty cafe enjoying her coffee and phone. She gave us the menus and told us to find a seat. While we were they we witness numerous people coming in, standing waiting to be seated, and then leaving because it took too long. The glass on the door when you enter was smeared with hand prints and not inviting. Clearly changed not for the better, a shame because it was such a busy caring place to go. Quality of the food has gone downhill also. Will not be returning.

The worst eatery EVER. When you have to return everyone’s meals “Two times” each and still get poor food, there is a serious problem, and it was clearly with the kitchen. The food was cold, served on cold plates, and was completely deprived of any flavouring enhancements such as gravy and sauces. When we gave our preferences as to how we liked our steaks cooked, we were told that steaks would only be cooked medium/rare. The tables had no tablecloths and our table was not clean. The staff were nice and tried their best to sort the problems but when the kitchen continually fails, you are never going to win. I won’t go into details about every meal other than to say not one of them was edible. We even turned our deserts back as we were so disgusted with the mains. Other patrons were clearly experiencing the same issues based on what we saw and heard. We even asked to speak to the chef so that we could provide feedback directly, but he or she didn’t come out. For the ridiculous price we were charged it was a gigantic fail, and the chef should be dismissed. Make an effort and drive into town where I am sure you will find better eateries. Avoid CHICANE at all cost even if it means starving to death.

The service was very good. As you would expect being attached to a hotel the restaurant would be a little more pricey, but with the price you expect a standard. From my experience I would be very surprised if this restaurant gets any return customers. Beef cheeks were only ok, served with salsa verde that didn't compliment the meal. My partners curry was tasty but certainly not worth the money we paid. Now we know.

Meals were not great. Both got the rump. Mine the surf and turf. $48 for the rump. $65 for the surf and turf. Surf and turf came with 2 tiger prawns and a Hollandaise. Even thought the steak came with a beef jus. Beef just tasted like a master foods basic stock. Both meals were suppose to come with Chimichurri. Neither did. Now I say all this about the food. But service was good. Lovely people. But food is very ordinary. Not worth the money. Stay at Rydges but better cook your own or order in

Awesome and convenient. Good/big portions and reasonable price. Staff were really good and attentive. After taking the order it took less than 5 minutes to get Cheesy Garlic Bread, which was the best! Then 20 minutes for mains, it was quite busy. Monday night with probably 30 guests. Would 100% recommend to a friend.

I don’t like giving negative reviews however I felt like I needed to this time. We waited over 40 mins for a dry and tasteless chicken burger! Will never eat here again. The worst of it was it was $30 Are you kidding me… Fair enough to charge that price if it’s a quality however I’d be so embarrassed and ashamed to ever serve that to someone.

Pulled pork Bao waa good. Chicken Satay was too chunky and dry, and the Rice was mushy and not rice-like. Alas! Pale Ale from Bathurst was good though.

I expected a great deal based on reviews, however the delivery left a lot to be desired. I opted for the 500g rump and it was extremely poor. Chewy steak and boiled veggies with passable mash. For $48 you can probably find a better steak at a pub.

The atmosphere here is warming and welcoming. Very affordable meals. I had the lasanga with chips and salad and it was absolutely the best lasanga that I have ever had and I use to work in an Italian restaurant. So this is a big hands up for me and it only cost $20, which is very affordable and very filling. Our waitress was amazing and very accommodating. Her personality shines with her service and would highly recommend this restaurant everyone. Keep up the great service and the amazing food

This is a great place for good food. We had a chicken schnitzel and Angus Ribs and they were both delicious. The service was quick and the staff friendly. Although it was cold outside the wood heater was keeping the indoor seating area nice and cosy. This is well worth a visit for a good feed.

Steak was absolutely terrible. Cried through my nose with the onion in the salad and the chips were half raw. Pub feed is better then this !

A nice selection of food and drinks with most people finding something they like. My steak and the salmon were a little over cooked. The food overall is fine but prices more expensive than probably justified. Good size serves. I would like to give 3.5 stars.

Was in Bathurst for a weekend of hockey, chose this restaurant the first night for dinner. It did not disappoint so chose to go back the 2nd night. The food was amazing and the service was superb. Kim and Caleb looked after our table and were both attentive and knowledgeable of both the food and drinks menu. A 5 star experience from me ⭐️

The Baileys Brûlée is 10/10, however the chicken box was very mid with flavour and quite dry. Chips are straight from a Woolies pack of chips - terrible taste. Overall not worth the $80 for 2 meals and 2 deserts

A pleasantly quaint restaurant with a lovely upper-class country feel. Complemented by a dark moodiness vibe, screaming elegance and vintage class. Set in an older style heritage shopfront with a quaint courtyard, balcony and beautiful old fire place positioned in the middle of the space. The perfect place for that romantic weekend away dinner you’ve been meaning to have. The food is divine yet simple and so deliciously elegant that every bite is a love affair! We are visitors from out of town and tried this restaurant from the reviews. I’m pleased to say the wonderful reviews are all true. The menu is a two course or three course option. We selected the two corse as we didn't think we could squeeze in dessert. We both had the beef for a main. I had the garlic prawn pasta as the entree and my other half had the lamb blackstrap. Both were absolutely divine so much so my partner who normally would not eat lamb, complimented the chef. My only regret…I didn’t get the dessert. A mistake I’ll not make again! There is always room for dessert people!! P.s Try the pinot65 Cabernet franc if it’s on offer. I was pleasantly surprised by this beauty!

We're up from Sydney for the weekend, Went last night with my Mrs. Hoping it would be as good as reviews and it was. We went the 5 courses and the food was outstanding. Congratulations to 92. Absolutely wonderful experience from the romantic ambience, wood fire and the interment seating. It was seriously amazing. We will be back.!

We found not only the presentation of the dishes to be 1st class but the all important taste was magnificent. great friendly country service only enhanced the dining experience. Really enjoyed my visit to this place. We selected the 5 course degustation option. Dinner came with a complimentary glass of wine. Each course was delicious! We went on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy - which I think tells you how good the place is. Staff were super helpful. Absolutely recommend a visit, keeping in mind the price point is $$$.

I enjoy Thai food and eat it regularly. I usually go to a different Thai restaurant in Bathurst, but this time I decided to try somewhere new. This place always appears busy and has received many positive reviews here, so I had high hopes. Sadly, I will not be returning. The atmosphere and service were lovely, and the staff were very attentive. However, we found the restaurant uncomfortably cold inside during winter. It was so chilly that we could not take off our coats. The first sign of disappointment came with the entrée. The vegetable spring rolls did not taste like Thai food at all, which immediately made us concerned about the rest of the meal. Unfortunately, our mains confirmed that concern. We ordered two of the most classic Thai dishes, Pad Thai and Laksa noodle soup, and both were lacking in authenticity and flavour. The Pad Thai was not what I expected. Rather than the usual flat noodles, it was made with thin ones, and the sauce was too strong and sticky. The prawns I selected were quite nice, but I ended up leaving most of the noodles on the plate. It did not resemble any Pad Thai I have ever had before. The Laksa noodle soup also lacked depth. It was simply a mildly spicy coconut soup with soft noodles, missing the flavour and richness typical of a good laksa. The taste was heavy and unbalanced. We will go back to our usual Thai restaurant in the future. However, this place may be suitable for large groups or families, as the menu is very broad and includes items like pasta and chicken wraps, etc, which are not part of traditional Thai cuisine. The dining space itself was quite large and may suit those looking for a spacious setting.

On a cold bathurst day the atmosphere was warm and welcoming upon arrival. My order of pork belly singapore noodles was just delicious, tasty and arrived quickly to my table. And if you get the chance order the biscoff milkshake. You wont be disappointed. Something for everyone.

We were offered a table on the spot by the friendly older lady. She mentioned that they bake their own scones. It was the best scones I had. It was not dry and and a little softer inside. It goes well with jam and cream. And the coffee was great 👍

Stopped by for breakfast on the second day of a road trip from Melbourne to Brisbane, and it delivered the morning hit we needed to get going. The presentation of both the food and coffee was beautiful. I was feeling the need for some sugar, and tried both the pancakes and waffles. The pancakes were thick but fluffy, and the waffles had a nice crisp. Definitely on the sweeter side, but as one with a sweet tooth I enjoyed them. The coffee was also well made, with no burnt taste as I have had the pleasure of tasting many a time in Brisbane. The staff were friendly, and the Cafe has a nice quaint feel about its atmosphere. Prices are typical, around 15-25 for a main menu item.

Ordered the scones and, boy, that was a disappointment. I don't think what we had would pass as a scone. The owner needs to find a different supplier or get someone else to make it. The coffee was good though so just get that when you come to Bathurst for whatever reason.

I had simple jam on tiast and coffee. The toast was extra thick, fresh and tasty, and the coffee wonderful--rich and hot. A really sparkling and well run cafe. 😀

The place is easy to find and to book. Parking available on the street. The dinning room is cute but also really random. We were seated quickly and given menus. We then ordered with a really helpful and friendly server (Maddie). The Entrees came within 10 mintues and the mains within 30 minutes. The menu itself was quite large with decent options. The food itself was quite nice but not traditional and nothing special. Would recommend for a casual night out.

Acceptable texture and flavour properly cooked PT. The only thing I'll say is that some fresh coriander would have earned another star.

We ate at Smile Elephant Thai Restaurant on Saturday night and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious – I especially enjoyed the Pad Thai, which was full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The service was friendly and attentive, making the evening even more enjoyable. The cosy atmosphere created a warm and inviting dining experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Thai food in a relaxed setting!

Very disappointed, food from here previously has been amazing but tonight yuck, couldn’t even eat it we threw it out. The pad Thai was orange coloured and tasted disgusting, the laksa was more like a bad stew than a soup. The ‘satay’ if you could call it that was passable for peanut flavour and that’s about it. Heard the restaurant has changed hands well unfortunately the new owners do not compare to the old.

It was our anniversary today and we came today to celebrate it here for the first time but I am so shocked to see the customer service by the owner. Firstly, we ordered our starters and drinks and we ordered extra chilli sauce in it and then our starters was in mid and we reminded the staff about chilli sauce but they responded by saying “do not come every minute” Our starters was finished long ago and still didn’t get the sauce and then we reminded them again and staff said “you are being bossy, you are not a princess that I can get everything to you” she was so rude, Worst customer service We have to get up without having our mains even.

(3.5 stars) A functional cafe for Tuesdays, when The Hub is closed, set on the edge of a park. Note the late opening time though, 8am, in case you’re rushing to a conference like we were! Coffee served in a mug ($5.50) is by the local Fish River Roasters. Bacon also local from Trunkey Creek. Tomato relish (made in house) comes with the Calare ($20.90) and is good on the bacon and softly scrambled Allendale eggs. Wasn’t as impressed with the Akehurst sourdough with butter sparingly applied. There is a parking lot at the venue, empty when we arrived, but might be more challenging when sport at the park is underway.

Charge your EV since food takes at least 40 mins. Beverages come out really quick so make it last while you wait. Not really happy about surcharges, especially when prices are above average already. Captive audience, I guess, because of the information centre co-location and charging stations. Too far to walk to anywhere else.

I had breakfast with five others here last Sunday. This place is connected to the information centre right on the road through town and onto Sydney from Orange, located on a park, which is a huge draw for parents with children or pet owners. The coffee is strong but not bitter. As you can see from the menu shown, the eggs come in at a reasonable price. Bacon cold on this occasion 😕. On convenience alone, I would come here again.

Great service, amazing food and a great view. We were driving through and found this amazing spot. Parking was tricky but once in, you can order food from your table with ease. We sat outside and watched the cockatoos play in the trees right in front of us. Food is swift and delicious. Certainly worth a visit when in Bathurst!

We stopped in at Harvest Cafe & Store, located in the Bathurst Visitor Centre complex, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Parking was super easy, and we loved that there were both indoor and outdoor seating options – perfect for any weather. We grabbed a coffee and one of the local soft drinks that the western region is known for – such a great way to get a taste of the area. For lunch, we both had the steak sandwich, which was absolutely delicious and came with crispy, golden fries that were packed with flavour. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the service was quick without feeling rushed. The attached store is also well worth a look – it’s stocked with a lovely range of local produce, from jams and chutneys to honey, oils, and more of those signature soft drinks. Whether you’re just passing through or spending some time in Bathurst, Harvest Cafe is a must-visit for a great bite to eat and a real taste of the region.

So we have been here before and enjoyed it for the most part of each visit! Today, however wasn't the best experience! While I understand staff may be a little slower due to being in training or their first time in the role, service wasn't that good today! I had to repeat my order 4 times and it still didn't come as ordered! Coffee came out and it was lukewarm at best. Then the food came, I asked for fried eggs sunny side up and they came out well done with no sign of soft yolk. In fact they looked like had been cooked on/in a pan/hot plate that hadn't been cleaned for a while! It was the same with the grilled chicken on our other meal. I only ate 1 & 1/2 of the eggs because I was starving! Although this review seems negative, we enjoyed the space and fresh air seating and will come back to give it another shot.

Staying in Bathurst. Was recommended this place for great Chinese meals by the lady at the information centre. We were celebrating our golden wedding anniversary. Lovely food. Only thing was the fact that only one person , who was a lovely lady was serving the whole restaurant. Takeaways etc. my husband had to go up to the counter to order more drinks and another meal. Otherwise was a pleasant meal. Sweet and sour pork was a let down.

Great friendly staff, quick efficient service. Food was tender and very well cooked. Will be coming back.

We wish we could get some steamed vegetables when they say vege on the menu rather than just a corn & some peas. We enjoyed our time here. A nice sports bar in Bathurst.

The Oxford Bathurst Town BBQ Texas BBQ & Southern Dining was outstanding. We ordered the Butcher’s Block and it was fantastic. Every cut was tender, smoky, and full of flavour. The brisket melted in your mouth. The ribs were perfectly seasoned. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere felt warm and authentic, like a true Southern BBQ spot. Great value for the quality and portions. Highly recommend it for anyone who loves real barbecue done right.

Brock’s, the restaurant inside The Oxford Bathurst, was a huge surprise. The $15 pasta weekly special (vodka sauce) was incredible. As was the chocolate mousse. I then find out why. Stefano Burlando is the head chef at Brock's Bathurst, a restaurant that has won a 2025 Australian Hotels Association (AHA) NSW Award for Updated 11th November. Superb lobster special gbocchi, barramundi and Italian sausage pasta. Manager Tom even shouted us dessert, thank you! Tiramisu and sticky date pudding were sensational. We will be back again soon. Excellence. He was named the Regional Chef of the Year at the same event, which recognized The Oxford Hotel (where Brock's is located) for multiple awards. Burlando has also been featured in promotional materials for upcoming events, such as a long lunch with chef Manu Feildel. We will be back very soon.

Had a meal and drinks here oon a recent trip to Phillip Island for the motogp. Food was served very quickly and was quite nice. Good atmosphere out in the beer garden. Our pommy mate, who seemed obsessed with pubs loved the place.

The Oxford Bathurst is a great spot to unwind. I grabbed a beer here and loved the atmosphere — warm, welcoming, and full of character. The venue has that perfect mix of lively energy without being overwhelming, making it easy to relax and enjoy a drink. Service was friendly and the vibe made it feel like the kind of place you could settle into for a while. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Bathurst and looking for a quality pub experience.

Pretty homely Bathurst Pizza parlour. The food here is pretty good; I'll keep it at that. It tastes and looks homemade, and is far better than the majority of pizza you get nowadays. The chicken wings were also a highlight, but also yet again, nothing crazy special. The prices aren't so high and the portion sizes are really well dealt in value, so there isn't much to complain about. Where the establishment thrives is its customer service. This was the first and only time I've been here, and in the course of my twenty minute stay, there were about four locals who came in and talked with the manager (who I can only presume is Lewy) as if he were just a mate they were hanging out with. The whole vibe and atmosphere was really lifted as a result. Despite being a quick stopover, I felt like I had experienced being a part of the Bathurst community, if only for a few brief moments. Great spot; if you feel like pizza and are in the area, I would recommend.

Visiting from Sydney. Travelled all over and hands down this was the best pizza we’ve ever had. Pasta was also fresh and tasted homemade by an expert. We will be back, pepperoni pizza is a must try.

Orderd this to my motel as I was staying in Bathurst for the night, absolutely amazing pizza, still steaming hot and fresh when delivered and the delivery driver even delivered it straight to my door at the motel. Super friendly and honestly couldn't fault tje pizza very delicious. 10/10 would highly reccomend

So I read the reviews after ordering. I ordered prawn Tom yum soup and chicken corn soup. The tom yum had prawns unlike other comments it did have cauliflour even though the shop replied to criticism saying there is no vegetables in Tom yum. I'm not complaining just funny. Honest review. Your to yum soup is trash probably better just to take of the menu. Chicken corn soup. It was actually OK. I added pepper for my taste and it was fine I will say though it tasted like it was a can of sweet corn soup with chicken cooked in it. Not the worst place to eat though.

Love their food.. their devil stir-fried duck curry is a dream. Their fried rice, red and green curries were delicious as well... not a huge space, but good enough to sit in..

Our family of 3 had the most amazing meal. All of us were so extremely satisfied that this restaurant will be our go to restaurant from now on . Staff were great , very polite and helpful with our special order which I would have to say was the best meal I have ever tasted in my life .Hokien noodle with chicken and garlic 10 out of 10 .

Food was alright here. Some parking here. It was a strange mix of fusion between Thai and Indian that worked but also didn’t. The pad Thai came in a soup broth rather than stir fried. The lunch deals weee good value and came with a drink so definitely gets you full.

I tried the Chicken Biryani from Thai Budda for lunch today, and it was a pleasant surprise! The rice was nicely cooked, flavorful, and had a good mix of spices without being overpowering. The chicken pieces were tender and well-marinated, blending well with the masala. Portion size was generous — definitely filling for a lunch meal — and the dish came out hot and fresh. It wasn’t exactly a traditional Indian-style biryani, but more of a fusion style, which still worked well. Would’ve been even better with a side of raita or curry for extra moisture, but overall, I was happy with the taste and presentation. A solid option if you’re craving something spicy and satisfying during the day.

The Red Curry BBQ Duck was an absolute standout. Rich coconut cream and Thai herbs perfectly complemented the smoky duck. Chef Sukhveer has a real talent for bold flavors. Manager Poonam gave a lovely explanation of the dish before we ordered.

The Celery & Chilli Seafood is a standout! Tender prawns and squid with crunchy celery in a savory, spicy sauce. It’s slightly more expensive than the other lunch specials, but totally worth it.

We ordered takeaway/ delivery from this restaurant because our regular Indian restaurant was closed. We should have heeded the reviews. The food was very uninspiring. The eggplant dish was like mashed up baby food but did taste ok though we would never know it was eggplant. Photo attached. The chicken tikka masala and butter chicken were the exact same sauce.See photo of both together. No cream in the butter chicken and both very heavy on the tomato (which is ok for the tikka masala but not usual for the butter chicken). Very very disappointing.

I'd love to say I loved the food here but I didn't even get to try it. Opening hours are listed as open until 10pm. I arrived at the restaurant at 9.25pm, the Welcome/Open sign was lit and flashing. I walked in and was told that the kitchen was closing at 9.30. I say "no worries I just want to grab some take away", "no the kitchen is closed you'll need to leave" Things happen kitchens have to close early all the time. But turn off your welcome sign and a few manners go a long way.

I visited Saffron Indian Bathurst on my friend’s recommendation — I was actually planning to try Chinese this time, but I’m so glad we came here instead! We ordered Butter Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh, Garlic Cheese Naan, and Saffron Rice. The Rogan Josh tasted just like a home-cooked curry — rich, flavourful, and not too spicy. The Cheese Garlic Naan was perfectly soft and cheesy, one of the best I’ve had. The restaurant wasn’t too crowded, which made it calm and comfortable to enjoy the meal. Overall, it was a really good experience Definitely recommend Saffron Indian if you’re in Bathurst and craving Indian flavours!

Food was awful, absolutely no taste. The samosas was burnt from bottom, stuffed breads had no flavour. Service and atmosphere was fine

Ordered dinner on Father's Day at 6:01PM. estimated delivery time 6:55PM. By the time the food arrived at 8:20PM our children had gone to bed and we had eaten frozen meals for Father's Day dinner. The food looked ok apart from a broken bag of papadums & a curry that only appeared 2/3 full, but it will all be eaten as leftovers on another night. Communication was non-existent, we tried calling a number of times. Left a message but no apology. Would not recommend.

Don’t do burn outs infront of your shop when people are trying to sleep at 10:30pm. Maybe be a bit more respectful of the people around you guys. So unfair so everyone in town.

I had an amazing time at this pub! The staff, including Sarah and Andrew (owners), were super friendly and made me feel right at home with their warm smiles. The food was, hands down, incredible 😋 Accessibility was a breeze too easy parking lol my mobility scooter and getting in. On the way to Orange, we stopped to grab lunch in Bathurst. Google said there was a good cafe across the road, but when we got there it was busy and full. We looked around and saw this pub so came in from the cold. The menu looked appealing and other customers portion sizes were very generous. So we ordered the chicken schnitzel (like who wouldn't). One of us had the bacon and egg topping, with veges and mash, another was plain schnitty with veges and mash, and one salad and chips. The food was okay, not cheap, but it took them over 45 minutes to deliver. They must've gone to the butchers or supermarket to get more supplies. Staff were friendly, but there wasn't much urgency. Not a bad place to stop if you are happy to kill time.

I had the Morrocan Salmon for dinner whilst on a work trip. It was so delicious I came back the second night to have it again. Top job Chefs

Great place, delicious food, waitstaff were absolutely brilliant. Porkalooza and the Margherita pizzas were the bomb diggety!

Stayed the night when the Panthers were playing my Knights. We found it a great spot to stay. Very accommodating, friendly and clean. Breakfast included was spot on. We heard no noise from the bar at all at bedtime. Blessed.

This is the 3rd year in a row we have been here when attending Bathurst, 26 years our friends have been coming here for Bathurst And for the 3rd time in a row, the bistro completely stuffs it up . It’s disgusting customer service. It’s not about the customer at all. Chef told us to go to Maccas if you don’t like the service, . Not our fault the bistro ran out of food 30min after opening. Bistro closed at 130pm after opening at 12pm. Chef completely got this wrong. A 5 yr old could do a better job! For the food we did get it was completely cold. You pay big bucks but get nothing back in return. We won’t be back. 3 chances .. GONE!

Terrible service from the girl with red hair. Buzzer didn’t go off as my food sat there ready. Kids cheeseburgers took 30 minutes before peak hour rush. The entire 30 minutes i believe the burger was on the grill. Tasted more of charcoal than beef.after paying for a side gravy and not being given it, I asked then heard the same red haired girl say to the kitchen “that girl just fingered that gravy and said it wasn’t right”, but if she remembered it correctly she placed it in my only spare hand, making this impossible. Another lady eating with my group ordered a meal with alterations, paying extra for those. After also waiting 30 minutes her meal was completely wrong, and not worth the wait to be re made.

The best hotel in Bathurst features large open spaces, a cool escape from the heat, approachable staff and a brilliant atmosphere. As we travel throughout Australia, it consistently rates as our top choice, especially over the Bathurst 1000 weekends.

We stayed Anzac Day - the pub was open and they were serving drinks to a crowd of guests - no food available to order. Restaurant closed and only chips and nuts for bar snacks. Very poor - you cannot provide drink after drink without sustenance to help soak that up. Restaurant should have been open!!!

The lady serving drinks was great but the food quality and service was one to forget. An hour and 15 minutes wait for food and once we finally got it the mash was stone cold and the veges had a weird tang to it probably frozen and were also cold.

Great service! But however the pad Thai is very bland. I was excited to try it but when it came out it was dry and not very flavourful. A little disappointed in that and the bar scene was a little rough but beside those negatives it was great!

Stopped in for dinner on a Sunday night. It was very quiet as expected. Food was served within 15 minutes and was hot and tasty. Had a sneaky fruit tingle cocktail and it was only $10 and tasted and looked amazing!! Great customer service too, the loveliest girl who served us.

We dined in tonight, table of 5, not only was the food hot, fresh and bought out really fast, our server was one of the best I've ever had, he was fun and energetic, great sense of humour, he made our dining experience so great. We usually go to another local establishment for our Chinese food but we will definitely be going here from now on. Absolutely wonderful time.

Tried calling for a take away and phone kept ringing out. Drove down there to find the place closed. Tuesday night, advertised that its meant to be open. No sign on the door. Went elsewhere, won't be back.

Quite authentic yum cha food and friendly customer service, traditional interior designs. Highly recommend chicken feet, sticky rice with chicken, and durian puffs so good too!

We got in early but the resteraunt remained busy with calls and orders, our meals arrived on time promptly and together it's not 5star Michelin dining but more than adequate good servings aswell nobody left hungry there wasn't left not to be eaten always a good sign. It's a solid 4/5. No more no less .

The combination chow mein and sweet and sour chicken (battered pieces deep fried) exceeded my expectations . We thoroughly enjoyed the flavours in both dishes. I will return again next time I am visiting Bathurst. Thank you for the experience

Rude rude rude. Didn't even get to try the food as they did the order wrong and wouldn't offer to fix it. Obviously new owners. New to town maybe. It used to be good. Tried to charge double even as they explaied the family pack wrong. The young guy was so threatening. Went home hungry .

Great friendly family place which is a bit like an old school canteen or Food Hall. I'd happily eat here every other week and consider the food here well above average.

Had a tasty lunch here yesterday. I picked it for my family as they have a range of food, from Asian to burgers, so it caters to all tastes. We had friendly and quick service. I decided to pay cash as I did not want to pay the card surcharge. The food came quickly, was fresh and tasty. I had a beef pad thai and my husband had a chicken fried rice. It was busy but not crowded, this was around midday. We bought some drinks as well, but cold tap water is available, you just have to fetch it yourself. Saw some other customers order the burgers and it looked like a yummy and decent serving. Families with prams and wheelchair users will find it easy to access the restaurant as there is a ramp next to the entry steps. If you have a big group of 8 people this would be possible to accommodate - the table we sat at that day was for that number of people. If I’m ever in Bathurst again, would be very happy to have a meal here again. Highly recommend!

Had Thai fried rice, pad kee mao (drunken noodles) and green curry. I can't agree with past reviews raving about the food. To be fair, the ingredients used were fresh and I was glad they consisted of lots of vegetables. But the taste was just average. Lacking of "wok hey" ie the smoky taste which was very important for Thai street food. Green curry was white in colour, I'd not had such a type of green curry before. Also, it was lacking of spiciness that I had to add in lots of chilli to make it taste better. Staffs were very friendly and ambience was good. I just hope they will raise the bar of authentic Thai food.

Great little noodle shop. I can't go past the Pork Belly with Hokkien Noodle and Korean sauce...I need to remember to bring a bib as I've ruined 2 shirts already. 100% worth it.

The worker burger was nice with the thick beef paddie and juicy tomatoes, I would have preferred the thick cut chips for the burger. But the pad Thai, Pad C U and friend rice were all on the sweet side of the Australian taste, so not authentic. The customer service was good with the dishes coming out fast within 10 minutes. The shop itself has a large dining area with a very modern theme with a open kitchen behind the counter. They have a reasonable pricing range with large servings to share and a have-a-dish-your-way-in-3-steps so there would be a massive combination to choose from. With a nice setup it is good for Australians but if you want authenticity this may not be the place depending on the dish.

This place was fantastic! Fast meals with cheap prices and you have the ability to choose what type of noodles you’d like with a range of different sauces available. It was a nice find after a long drive. The aircon works well on a hot as 43 degree day and the staff members are lovely.

Amazing authentic Thai in Bathurst! Don’t be fooled by the messy menu just order the Thai dishes. We had green curry, pad see ew & the home made curry puffs were up there with the best iv had. Authentic! Cheap! Do yourself a favour come here.

This was a beautiful pub with so much character and charm. Great service and awesome food. Well for young and old really with parts of the pub dating back over 100 years it still hold its charm with a little twist. Thanks to the staff and owner for making it a memorable experience. Also the beer garden caters for our fmaily dog travelling with us. Great atmosphere.

Cheap and cheerful. Most rooms are with shared bathroom. Three newly rennovated bathrooms available. Spotlessly clean and no waiting was a our experience. Friendly staff. Pub meals were good. I had a chicken schnitzel which was of industry standard. The chicken itself was breast fillet and appeared to be fresh, not frozen, was cooked perfectly and the other elements on the plate were of a good solid standard. Quality local wines featured from behind the bar. I was happy with the offerings. Good experience.

Beautiful old pub that has been carefully renovated. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the ensuite rooms are particularly spacious. Even some of the non-ensuite rooms are very spacious and the shared bathrooms hardly feel like shared bathrooms as there are so many - nearly one for every room so you don't feel like you're sharing at all. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and remember your favourite drink after a long day at work. Highly recommend.

A historic pub with an updated vibe. Clean rooms, very comfortable beds. We drove from Sydney and arrived around dinner time. It was such a treat to be able to have a wine and dinner and retreat upstairs after a long drive. Food was great and beer/wine selection included local options. Special mention for Brad from the restaurant. He was friendly and helpful, even though they were super busy. It’s the little things!

I feel like I'm in an art gallery which I love! It's my go to place when I need to stay in Bathurst. Mel was welcoming and made me feel comfortable. The place is so clean and maintained very well. The hallway is properly lit so I feel safe. I love the design of the bathroom!

I stayed at The Victoria Bathurst from Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th and was very pleased with the experience. The room was very clean and while both the room and bed were on the smaller side, they were cosy and comfortable – really, what more do you need? The heater/air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a lifesaver during some very cold days. I also appreciated the common tea and coffee amenities, which added a nice touch. The shared bathrooms were immaculate – honestly some of the cleanest I’ve seen. Towels were refreshed daily, and bins emptied daily as well. The staff member I dealt with (a lovely lady, though I didn’t catch her name) was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The only downside was a group of drunk guests being very loud in the hallway late at night, which did disturb sleep for myself and others. Not really the hotel’s fault, as you can’t reason with people in that state, but worth noting. Overall, I had a great stay and would happily return.

Now the new go to destination for a great succulent Chinese meal! Came here by chance as the place we use to go to was closed for no reason. Glad it was, as this place was fantastic. Food was fresh, hot and good value. Will be back again for sure!

We arrived late and they accommodated our group of 8 with banquets and individual dishes. It was all delicious, though one dish was a bit too chilli hot for one of us. It’s a large venue so don’t expect a romantic atmosphere, but it was pleasant and the large round table was perfect for our group of friends. Restaurants close early around 8.30 or 9.00 in Bathurst so set out by 7pm.

We really enjoyed eating here. The staff were patient and gracious with our little ones + the mess they made. The food was yummy and came quickly in spite of business Thanks for a great experience.

Probably some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. Food came out fast and hot, and portion sizes are massive for the price - Noone at my table could finish their food. Service was also great, they were attentive even with the amount of takeaway orders and other tables food that was coming out of the kitchen. 10/10 one of the best restaurants in Bathurst

Food was average, had 3 different dumplings and all had no flavour. Rice had too much soy sauce therefore very salty. Fried chicken was also tasteless and only half a container full. All up cost just under $100 and definitely not worth it. Young lady at the counter when picking up the was nice but that’s about it.

Was a great range of dishes and tasty special fried rice, the squid was delicious, and we enjoyed the Szechuan hit soup and the duck and mushroom soup.

Staff are to be commended for their excellent customer service and friendliness. The food was well presented and tasty. I particularly enjoyed the almond cacao smoothie with two shots of espresso!

Lovely location, lovely venue but coffee quality is very poor! My tongue burnt while taking first sip hence, it was super hot and can’t taste the coffee at all! I had Toby coffee back in Sydney and was alright but huddle really need to work on it. Andddd it is $6 for a small coffee!! I was shocked 😳 However, their food cabinet looks amazing. Just not happy with the coffee and the price. 😒

Excellent pit stop on our drive to Wellington last week. Great coffee and the wraps were amazing. I had the best turkey wrap I’ve ever had. Still thinking about it. Young barista and manager so pleasant to deal with and also met the owner who takes his customer service very seriously. Highly recommend

Absolutely loved my visit to Huddle Cafes. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the coffee was perfect, and the food came out fresh and full of flavour. But what really made the experience stand out was the service. A huge shoutout to Kaili, who went above and beyond to help me out. I wasn’t sure what I felt like, and she took the time to chat, offer recommendations, and somehow knew exactly what I needed. Her energy was uplifting, and you can tell she genuinely cares about making customers feel at home. Will definitely be coming back, not just for the coffee, but for the people. Thanks, kaili!

Our second visit since the new owners, and I love what you have done to the place! Last week we had chai and sweets and sat on the comfy lounge and this time we went for lunch and had a toasted focaccia with roasted vegetables and pesto. There were so many choices and everything looked appetising. Both times we were served with a welcoming greeting and excellent service all the way. The staff are happy and their warmth brings a great energy. Super delicious food! Super fresh! Super service! It's officially now my favourite place in Bathurst for healthy, fresh food with outstanding service...I'm eyeing the baklava crossaint with icecream for my next splurge and sweet treats...and salmon and cream cheese bagel! Not to mention the best almond chai latte I have ever had!

Went in for emergency coffee as last one bought from another shop had spilt down my wife’s front, the girls behind the counter were so nice and offered clothes to clean up her top. Great coffee and a large selection of yummy food(plenty of gf options for me). I would give more stars if I could. Friendly , kind and caring, great coffee and food!

Good place. Main fault of place is no pictures so you don't know what's in it and have to ask for each item. Prices are more for dine in less for take out. The inside is much nicer than the outside. Prompt service. Picture is combination Szechuan.

I can't compare this Chinese Restaurant to other Chinese places in Bathurst, so I'm comparing it to the ones I'm used to in Sydney. It's more of a 2.6/5. The food came out quite slowly (1 hour, which is understandable as it was during the Easter car races). The staff were nice, but the food lacked any taste. The fried rice looked very sad and dry. The meat in the black bean beef only tasted of salt. The only redeeming dish was the sweet and sour pork. For the price, this restaurant would definitely would run out of business if it was located in Sydney.

If you are looking for traditional chinese, this not the place to go. Sesame prawn toast had no sesame seeds, was battered and deep fried like tempura and came with tartare sauce. The honey "chicken" we ordered was fish and the wait staff were inattentive but nice.

I ate here on Thursday evening at about 6:15pm with four others.The place was clean, roomy with 1980’s decore. Cutlery, no chop sticks. The venue was licenced for alcohol service. BWS. We were the only people in the venue, but it was clear that their take-away business was thriving. The young waitress was very friendly and attentive. Full table service. She did very well. Our table ordered a large plate of Special Fried Rice, Boiled Rice, Combination Mongolian, Short Soup and Mongolian Lamb. We were all served in under ten minutes and by that time, another ten people arrived to dine in. The Combination came out sizzling and served two with rice. The meat was tender; prawns, chicken and beef with 25 percent vegetables. The sauce was rich and needed rice for balance. The Special Fried Rice had few injections of meat and vegetables highlights. The wontons in the Short Soup (6) required more seasoning but were well wrapped. Void of prawn. This was a disappointment, given the price. Aside from the great service, this was a middle of the road meal. 2.9 stars.

Friendly front counter staff. Take away was horrible. My friend and I both got beef dishes. Overcooked and dry. No sauce, or if there was, no flavour. Perhaps they save the good meals for those that dine in? Wouldn't get take away there again though

Have always loved this restaurant but tonight I was absolutely shattered. The satay chicken was always my favourite dish but I have since become vegatarian. My partner and I rang up to simply change the chicken to vegatables. Dosent seem that strange or difficult does it? We didn't think so either, but the lady at the counter assured us that the boss will not do that. Repeating it twice after we explained it was only replacing the chicken? Anyway, really disappointed. Every restaurant should have age vegatarian options, or at least offer to change the meat out.

Excellent service and delicious food! Always try to exceed the customers’ expectation. We enjoy ourselves very much dining there!

Dinner had mixed quality. While the menu was obviously well planned, the meals at our table had uncooked rice, frozen edemame, super overcooked haloumi, unlabled chilli in dishes that were ordered for children and "Pita bread" swapped for toast without informing the table. everything else tasted amazing but there was so much wrong that I wouldn't go back.

Small dated room. Prison cell vibes. I expected a lot more for $187/night. An absolute disappointment. No standard facilities in the room and inadequate heating. I've had a hellish, sleepless night. Will be contacting the Ombudsman when I get home. Panorama Motel is an expensive, out dated hell hole.

Would definitely recommend to others and will be a repeat customer. Clean, freshly refurbished rooms. Excellent service including yummy breakfast.

We stayed overnight and had no problems. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and in good condition. There is a bar and bistro as well, but we didn't go to it, so I can't comment on this. The motel is next door to the Bathurst showground. It's about a 5 - 7 minute walk from the motel to the centre of the Bathurst retail area. I would stay here again if I was in the Bathurst area.

Even though it was the lead to the Bathurst 1000 race, and the motel was busy, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was busy, and had entertainment. Those that didn't need daily room service, were rewarded with a voucher that could be used at the restaurant. Very well located and easy to find.

So, get rid of that pool! It makes parking for 4x4s difficult.. Lol.. Reminds me of an American movie with that pool. I have to say, doing FIFO work, I've stayed there a few times. The Pano restaurant at the front has THE BEST food anywhere in Bathurst when it comes to pub grub. Ask for a medium rare steak and it comes EXACTLY how you ask. The fries are amazing. I've eaten there heaps of times. You get a big portion for not big dollars. Great value for money. But about the Motel, it's good. Not great. It's a standard place, and has everything for a short stay like any other place in Bathurst. It's centrally located, so walking anywhere isn't longer than 10 minutes. It's quiet, a little dated, but still nice. Bed is comfy, it has what every single place has, kettle, teas, sugar, but I don't know if it has breakfast. No idea..

Lucky to give 1 star, went to the bistro with friends, ordered schnitzel and veg at 6.55 pm all others ordered just before me, they had received there meals and finished them before I had received mine, at 7.40 complained and at 8.10 received my meal the vegetables were sloppy and looked like a cat had puked them up, bloody disgusting. Hope the new owners do something about this chef. Cheers Steve

After trying to find a Chinese restaurant open at Easter, we found Golden Paradise. The wait for the food was very long but expected. Although it was even later then they said and lots of people waiting too. However the food was delicious, fresh and generous. If they can do this good when under pressure, I'm looking forward to having it again under normal conditions. They offer the usual array of Chinese food so something for everyone.

Been coming here for 15 years and the food is always delicious and reasonably priced. Service and atmosphere is not the best feature of this restarting, but the quantity of food and the taste of it is 5 stars. Definitely worth visiting for a good feed.

Terrible food today for $80! Sang Choy Bow, was a sloppy mess. Horrible taste, couldn't do it, and it would have fallen off the lettuce anyway.Diced steak in black pepper was chewy and had the strangest aftertaste ever. Was concerned about the chicken skewers, as they had an almost chemical, vinegar smell. Inedible! The chicken and sweet corn soup, was mildly better, but no actual chicken pieces, just small sloppy shreds of chicken! Do better!

Food was nice, staff were just doing their job. Lunch deals under $10 including fried rice.

I spent $75 on takeout here on a Friday night. The order was a short soup, two special fried rice, mixed vegetables and the chicken with oyster sauce. Although the order took 45 minutes to prepare, I highly rate the service staff for telling us about the wait time before we ordered in person. The special fried rice sported enough prawns and other charms to be substantial. The mixed vegetables were perfect and the chicken was tender and tasty. The three mixed together were pleasant. I can’t rate the short soup though. The broth tasted like a packet mix with water whilst the wontons had the texture and consistency of something that was not created on site, more like something frozen. I would likely eat here again.

Absolutely horrible, overpriced food. The prawn cutlets were so overcooked and dry. The sizzling Mongolian lamb was not sizzling and in our opinion more likely to have been beef. The fried rice was oily and had alot of msg in it as we all are thirsty. Its probably the worse meal we've ever had and it was so overpriced. Now we know why it was empty.

We pre-ordered at lunch time to pick-up at 545pm . Meals were ready and hot. No problems. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Located opposite Woolworths in the Bathrust shopping centre. Reasonable collection of kebabs, rolls and snack packs. Prices are average and quality is ok. We tried the chicken snack pack for lunch.

basic falafel with lettuce tomato and sauce. Extra charges for beetroot etc . makes it too expensive. The hot chilli sauce was awful, but the bread was nuce and crisply toasted.

Trucking interstate.. try kebabs anywhere. Had these guys a few times on Uber. First time I've gone into the store. BEST KEBABS . Really friendly staff. Great service. And very yummy

Came here last week with my family for a kebab, man was I left disappointed!! They had a child working behind the counter who was very rude towards me, I asked if I could get a kebab but wandered if the meat could be cooked for longer as usually I received super fatty soft pieces of meat which I personally don’t like. They didn’t really understand my request but eventually it got through to them what I was trying to say, when I went to pay it was only supposed to be $13 but they charged me an extra $2 just to grill the beef for a little bit longer, this is so silly but whatever, also think it’s crazy that a standard kebab only comes with onion lettuce and tomato. When the man gave me my food he then made fun of me saying that I was being special and fussy. Was the worst kebab I’ve had from here don’t recommend.

Lovely place to have drinks, food, and enjoy the live music outside. Also many kids entertainment activities for the winter festival. The beer and pale ale are tasty.

Called in a few weeks back on my way out to Orange for a quick paddle and happened to time it with their Wild West shindig. The place was packed with everyone enjoying the festivities but even though it was busy it still felt like heaps of space due to the size of the venue. We pulled up a table outside to enjoy the live music while the kids watched me enjoy my paddle (the kids weren’t that impressed actually 🤣). Didn’t get a chance to try any of the food as was still full from lunch earlier that day but the smoked BBQ did look the goods but that was only for that event. Overall cool venue with a great selection of beers. Hopefully next time I’ll be able to stop in for longer than a tasting paddle.

Reckless Brewing Co is such a fantastic spot! The family-friendly atmosphere makes it really welcoming, and we had a great time playing pool with the kids. The food was excellent — I tried the Dirty Bird burger and it was absolutely delicious. On top of that, they have an impressive selection of beers, with something to suit every taste. A perfect place to relax, enjoy good food and drinks, and spend quality time with family. Highly recommend!

An exceptional venue in Bathurst! This place is massive, so you can always get a table for your crew. The food is simply amazing and so are the beers. They have a game room of sorts for pool, table tennis etc. Loved it

Shoutout to this business! We were a large work group and I had never been here before I'm from north Queensland The space this business has created is top notch! It's so welcoming and beautifully designed making the best of every inch of the place, it was more like going to a good friends house than it was a business! The drinks were awesome..and the food was delicious but what brings it all together is the staff.. They were all so busy but so kind and friendly, nobody was stressed and they managed to still have a joke while they worked their magic as a team WELL DONE to you all! I rarely buy Merch from places I visit but I did last night because I will honestly be telling everyone what an amazing place you have! Thank you for your hospitality guys!!

We recently had dinner for a special occasion there. The food was tasteless. Absolutely no seasoning whatsoever, the twice cooked pork belly had no crackling (that’s the whole point) and the chicken schnitzel tasted very funky & doesn’t come with any sauce/gravy. Sorry but won’t be back. For fancy food: it’s the basics you missed.

More of a fine dining experience than expected when arrived. Interior is absolutely lovely. The staff are well mannered ! Entree share platter was to die for!

Staff are fantastic!! This food is beyond pub food. As a vego with a carnivore partner, we were blown away by the quality of the food. He finished my meal, the portions are great! The staff are so friendly and the vibe is chill, a little more chill to the rest of town....at least on races night. But I'd come back again and again for sure. Love to the George!

The Manager is rude and the rooms are disgusting. There’s mould in the shower, the housekeepers do not even clean your room properly or make the bed, all they do is empty the bin, refill the toilet paper and towels and pull the bed up. I booked in for a week (not cheap for pub accommodation) for family reasons and travelled a long way, the least I expected was for my room to be cleaned properly each day. They didn’t even wipe the bathroom over! I checked out a day earlier and was denied a day’s refund, the manager was extremely rude, and I paid cash upfront! The food was okay, albeit very expensive and small serving. There’s no allocated parking. The only good thing I can say is the location is very convenient.

Superb. Chef Nikil who has been here 5+ years, and charming manager John, provide great service and just as good food. Lamb shanks, eye fillet had. Just fantastic. We will be back often.

Went to play 9 holes, the service was rude. Treated so poorly considering we were just there for a quiet game. Edit: Now I have the Manager ‘Matthew’ privately messaging me on Facebook regarding my 1 star review, mentioning that it is damaging and harsh. Also mentioning how “normally country folk talk rather than try and destroy on social media”. Reaching out on my personal account seemed rather unprofessional.

This was our 1st visit to the BGC and unfortunately it wasn’t a pleasant experience. The staff are friendly and that was about. The venue looked grubby and unkempt and in need of a good clean. Although the menu reads pretty well the Food was leas than average and cold, wine list and choice by the glass extremely under PAR. Pardon the pun. This could also be because the regular clientele are not really wine consumers. We will give it another crack, as we may have just got them on a bad night and i am a firm believer of always try things more than once.

20min to get our food. One worker had to do everything, while the other did nothing. Served others who came in later and pushed in front of the person making my food to make the food quicker. Then they didn't help to finish of my order and went out the back to do nothing. Pathetic crap that took way to long. Work as a friggin team

Premises was sparse and uninviting as expected. You order, you pay, you vamoose. Young man who served me was unenthusiastic; but, he listened and assembled the meal order without issue. Menu screen is an abysmally small size with a flurry of information squeezed into its modest borders. So, if your sight isn't what it used to be, bring glasses! Unsurprisingly, the reason for the two star review is the food itself. Pre-pandemic Zambrero in Orange was outstanding; tasty, fresh, satisfying, and left you genuinely looking forward to your next visit. What I had tonight in Bathurst did not tantalise my tastebuds, rather it left them more than a little offended! Among other things, when did the Lamb become so dry and tasteless? What happened to the deliciously crunchy hard shell tacos now replaced with unseasoned cardboard? A dramatic drop in quality!

Fresh and one of the best Burrito I've had. Definitely going back ! Yummy.

Staff, very friendly and understanding, and also very accommodating, with special requests for Keto substitutes, has been the only Zambreros I have encountered who are happy to exchange white rice for Cauliflower rice and not charge me. The serving size was also a wonderful surprise, Zambreros in Hamilton (Newcastle) West Gosford and Cessnock all charge additional $ for half the sized meal. Highly recommend Zambreros Bathurst. 🍴💛😁

Visited twice over Bathurst weekend. Visited with 5 people. We all enjoyed our meals, the salad was fresh and nice dressing. Ribs were very tasty and generous portions. Chicken schnitzel was perfectly cooked and plenty of chips. Staff were friendly. Great pub meals. Also have accommodation on site. So very handy for those staying there.

Price jack in check-in and dishonored with phone booking. Double confirm the booking in this place to avoid surprise. It was a dramatic experience and a very difficult time at 8:30pm on 20th April 2025 in the busy Easter season that result risky long night drive to find alternative accommodation. Was booked a Quadruple Room (4 sleepers) for 3 adults that was quoted $175 in their official booking website and also confirmed with stuff on the phone on the same day. Card details were given and ETA was advised. However, when check-in at 8:00pm after a long drive, no welcoming faces and instead the staff told the price was wrong and needed a review. After long waiting for the bar staff served another 3 wine/food purchasing customers that after me and finally went back and advised a price jack of 34% more to $235 and told the rate is non-negotiable. When I addressed the discrepancy in the website, the staff refused to explain and advised this jacked price is the final rate if I want to stay for the night. We declined this unfair practise and the long waiting, difficult conversation and uncomfortable service for the check-in process were not acceptable at all. Attached photo for the room price of 3 adults from their official booking website before price jack at the same time of check-in for reference. Not sure about the room quality, so give a 2 stars, and it could be better or worse. Given the experience tonight, it is hard to recommend this place.

Great feed, comfortable stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Booked the last room late Saturday afternoon, arrived at 8pm. Still managed to get a delicious mixed grill done to perfection, everything on it was just on point. Room was spacious enough, very clean and tidy. Was warm and comfortable without the A/C on overnight, despite waking up to ice on the car windscreen. Would definitely stay here again. Space available in the side street for trailers and tall 4wd's.

This is the 1st time we've been to the Kelso Hotel! It is a nice pub but man the food was awesome! I had the Mixed Grill and it was the best I've had, the steak and lamb were cooked perfectly as was the egg.....just perfect! My wife had the Porterhouse Steak with mash and veg. It too was cooked to perfection. They had a nice wine list and the manager and staff knew all about the wines and were happy to suggest them. I'm looking forward to going there again soon.

I came here with my partner with no booking on a Friday evening, We were allocated a table right away with a warm greeting. Atmosphere was great, good lighting, music and Japanese theme. Service was fantastic, friendly staff, quick and always checking to make sure things are okay. Food was good quality, I am a big eater so I needed to order a lot, but you receive good amounts. I will definitely come back.

Best Japanese in the Central West by far. Meals are bang on, and come out real quick. The Popcorn prawn...God damnnn. Only issue is the restaurant can be quite loud with the concrete floors. Worth it regardless.

What an amazing Japanese restaurant! The service was so friendly and warm, staff were super helpful. The Tuna Starter was delicious, cooked so well and flavourful. The pancake starter was one of my favourites! Soft, fluffy and packed with flavours. Enjoyed the teriyaki chicken and sushi! The cocktail hazelnut martini was also another favourite! Will be back for more!

Delicious food, stunning venue and fabulous staff!! I think we worked our way around most of the menu and loved the freshness and quality of each dish! All was amazing! Highlight was the Volcano Rolls and Wagu Beef! We will return as the staff were so friendly and the delicious food was very well timed between each course! All the very best for your business!

This place is great! Dropped by to have a lunch on the way to Sydney from Orange. Absolutely stress free with car parking. The whole experience from start to finish was great. Also, I liked their plates and modern, neutral interior so much and was Impressed with little cute chopsticks for kids as well 😬 The foods that we had were soooo delicious. Highly recommend!

Amazing dinner. It’s about time Bathurst got a decent Indian restaurant. Yes it takes a little longer to get to the table but we shouldn’t be in a hurry when we take the time go out with family. It also means the food is fresh given it takes longer to prepare. It certainly didn’t disappoint. The chef also came out to ensure everything was good and took the time to talk to us. Great atmosphere and food!!

Had Lunch today… Ordered Lahori Fish Fry, Reshmi Chicken seek kabab and Goat Biryani. Fish Fry and Reshmi chicken seek kabab was up to the mark and taste was good but Goat Biryani was disappointing. Goat pieces were smelly and I will not call it Biryani. It was mostly tawa pulaoo and tomatoes taste was dominating. Biryani not recommend.

I’m from out of town, really felt like a good curry…and I know good curry from bad. I ordered their goat curry and found it was cooked in the authentic way with the bones. It was tender, fragrant, and the gravy was smooth. The flavours they advertise are: tomato base with ginger, garlic, cardamom, mace and nutmeg. I also found it had a nicely balanced hit of fenugreek which is a favourite of mine. Great job guys, I’ll be back again.
