Pacific Rim restaurant
Nadina Authentic Fijian Restaurant offers a genuine taste of Fiji with its wide variety of local dishes like Kokoda, Fijian Fish Curry, Garlic Mussels, and Pork Belly. The warm and friendly staff are accommodating to dietary needs. Situated near Port Denarau, the restaurant provides a lively atmosphere with live music on certain days. It's known for its refreshing waterfront location and superb Fijian cuisine.
The Kokoda was delicious! We also tried the cassava and Dalo chips, which were tasty and cooked to perfection. Loved the food, the service and the ambiance.

We had a great Fijian dinner here. It's located at the very far end of the marina. Great views from the restaurant looking out towards the water. We were waiting for them to open on a Sunday but found out that they wouldn't open until 11am or noon. Time kept changing according to who you ask. So we decided to come back for dinner instead. They post their daily specials on the chalkboard. It was Surf and Turf that night so that's what I ordered. Everything was a bit overcooked and on the dry side but I like the little accompaniments. The Ika Vakalolo (special walu fish in coconut creamer) and Kai Viti curry dishes were excellent. The Kai Viti dish was a good size portion and that was the favorite. We did order an old fashion and that was a big disappointment. Did not taste like what we're used to and tasted like a fruity smoky cocktail instead. Like all the restaurants there, service was with a warm smile. Everyone is so friendly and nice.

food was super delicious and perfect table service (: went for dinner and they had two men singing and playing the guitar enjoying kava ❤️ .. definitely gave authentic fiji atmosphere with authentic fiji dishes (: absolutely loved it! highly recommend this restaurant (:

This restaurant is located at the very far of the Denarau waterfront. Service is friendly and nice, but quite slow - so if you don’t have too much time before your boat departure, I would advise checking upfront how long it would take. We ordered fish dishes and those were nice. We opted for Fijian potato instead of rice as a side - not my cup of tea, however, really interesting taste. Portions are huge. It’s not cheap, considering location and everything. Payment by card is possible, they will charge ~3% card payment fee though.

Delicious Fijian food with great service and a lovely view. Aggie was super friendly. We had fish and chips, curry, pork belly and stir fry and they were all incredible

Wow fantastic 5 out 5 stars. Authentic Fijian food, lovely warm welcoming staff. Very reasonably priced. If youre looking for Authentic Fijian cuisine this is a must! Been here many times and never have they let us down. Roro balls are a must by the way!
Sangeeta D — Google review
Really nice authentic fijian food experience. Particularly after hotel meal after hotel meal this was a nice welcome change. Worth the visit. We had the prawn curry, the beef curry, the lobster and a couple of the desserts. There wasn’t anything I didn’t enjoy. The coconut base was not heavy at all and not too rich. And we have Manu as our hostess! She was amazing!
Sarah M — Google review
This is a popular restaurant in the Denarau Island serving local Fijian cuisine. The food was very tasty and well-prepared with decent presentation. Ordered the Kuita Vakalolo (octopus braised in coconut cream) and Kai Viti Curry (fish curry) and both were delicious. Good attentive service and terrific comfortable ambience

Indigo Indian Asian Restaurant & Bar, located at the Port Denarau Marina in Nadi, offers a dining experience that feels like paradise. The restaurant's vibrant green decor and limited seating create an intimate and exclusive atmosphere. Their menu features a variety of Indo-Fijian specialties, such as crab masala and lamb Rogan josh, alongside other classic Indian dishes.
Indigo is the only way to go! Some of the best Indian meals we’ve ever had and special shout out to the chef specials - specifically the Beef Vindaloo, Biryani & Fijian Goat Curry. We also had a flight of the local rum which was fantastic. The bold flavours have kept us all reminiscing and with such an extensive menu, we can’t wait to try what other treats Indigo has to offer!

We went here for dinner on a Saturday evening and it was quite busy but we were seated right away by the water. They have a lot of seating outside. Our nice waitress Torika took great care of us throughout the dinner. We stayed with the pani puri for appetizers. The mint and lime sauce was so yummy. The pani puri was light and delicate. We ordered the chicken tiki marsala and it was really good. I'd say that I like it better than the ones here in the States because there's no cream in the curry. The Butter chicken dish was very creamy and we liked that one too. We also had garlic naan though I wish there was more garlic and a fluffier naan. The flavors are good and I recommend this restaurant!
Sharon B — Google review
Had a late lunch around 3pm. The restaurant was not busy. Location on the Denarau marina was prefect location for shopping and eating. I ordered their mud crab curry with naan and rice, tandoori shrimp and 2 passion fruit drinks - I can not recall their names. Food was great! The shrimps could have been larger, nevertheless it was tasty. The main course of mud crab was the highlight of the meal. Initially there was a hint of sweetness, but than the spiciness hit a little later. The 2 drinks were perfect offset for the spiciness. Portion size were large as it served as a second meal. The service was outstanding. The staff was very attentive when needed. They left me alone as in drove into the crab checking in when I needed water or drink refills. I would say a perfect harmony. Definitely planning to visit again.
Vimal S — Google review
We visited this spot on a recommendation for their Indian cuisine, and it lived up to the hype. Tried the masala kulcha, peas pulao, changezi chicken, and palak paneer—each dish was well-prepared and flavorful, though the palak paneer could’ve used a bit more seasoning. Service was decent, and we appreciated the clear pricing in both FJD and AUD.
Madhuparna B — Google review
What an amazing find! This is hands down the best Indian food I’ve had in a very long time. We’ve already been here for dinner twice and plan to come back again before we leave in two days. On our first visit, we ordered the few cocktails , chicken tikka and chicken curry — both were good. But our second visit was truly exceptional! We tried the drinking coconut, goat curry and mud crab with garlic naan, and everything was absolutely delicious — a perfect 10/10 for taste and presentation. The staff were warm, attentive, and made the experience even better. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this place! A little tip from my experience in Fiji — it’s best to avoid chicken dishes, as the chicken tends to be tough and dry almost everywhere.
Tanvi A — Google review
The food is well seasoned and well made. The wait staff made several errors but were attentive and welcoming. The naan was delicious. Just note this rule of thumb, everything is more spicy than you'd expect.
Tetchjan W — Google review
The best Indian and Indo-Chinese fare I have ever had. NYC, London, India included 😂 it might be that their portions are perfect for me too. I just love how fresh and delicious everything was!
Asher J — Google review
Amazing Indian restaurant! We were there for early dinner. Cocktails were very good - highly recommend the lychee ginger drink. We got pani puri and paneer chili as appetizers. We ordered paneer tikka masala, palak paneer and Silon vegetable - all were quite flavorful. Naan bread was soft and fresh. Gulab Jamun shots were a nice touch (if you like Bailey …)

Bonefish Seafood Restaurant is a popular dining spot in Denarau Island, Fiji. The restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring Fijian specialties such as Crab Masala and Lamb Roganjosh. With its picturesque location and friendly atmosphere, it's a great place to enjoy delicious seafood dishes while taking in the beautiful beaches and clear turquoise waters of Fiji.
We had an amazing dinner, grilled whole snapper and prawns, flavours were well balanced. You the lovely attentative Fiji service. Visiting from Auckland, we will definitely be back.

Spacious restaurant, with a great view. Warm atmosphere and staff are accommodating. The price is reasonable for the quality of food you get! Loved it!
Josephine G — Google review
recently dined at Bonefish Restaurant in Fiji and ordered the seafood platter. The food was absolutely beautiful—every single item was cooked to perfection, fresh, and served beautifully. It truly showcased the quality and flavors Fiji is known for, and for that, I was really impressed. Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by poor service from one staff member. While most of the team were welcoming, cheerful, and gave us the warm “Bula” hospitality that Fiji is famous for, one waitress delivered service that left me feeling uncomfortable. She handed me a Coke can with a name written on it which, in the local Fijian dialect, means something offensive. Combined with her attitude, the look she gave me, and her demeanor throughout, it spoiled what had been a wonderful day and a meal worth over $300. I want to be clear—I was polite and respectful as a visitor to Fiji and to the restaurant, and I don’t believe I did anything to warrant that treatment. It was disappointing, as I had been enjoying myself up until that moment. Overall, the food and most of the staff were fantastic, but this one negative interaction really took away from the experience. If management addresses this kind of behavior, I think Bonefish could easily be a five-star dining experience.
Jessica T — Google review
We have been coming here for few years now, n decided this year was last. We feel the food taste is not like it used to be. Dishes are good sizing it might be tasty for some but not us.. I think the focus of presentation has taken the taste of the food. We had to keep on asking the staff to take the dirty plates away. Service can be improved as they have a few staff floating around. It's a busy restaurant so booking is required unless you happy to wait.
Nikki H — Google review
On my second recent visit to Fiji I made sure to come here for my first meal of the trip. I wanted to try this restaurant for a while now and was so glad I got to try out this place last week. We had the masala fish, the seafood platter with mudcrab and ended off with the passion fruit crème brûlée. The food was delicious and honestly, tasted very fresh. We really enjoyed our meal. The drinks were also very reasonably priced - we had a variety of beers, wines, and teas. What bothered me was the service - when we first asked for a table we were directed to the back of the restaurant, away from the waterfront and majority of patrons. We asked to be relocated so that we could enjoy our experience. Once relocated I found that our server seemed to be annoyed with our questions about the menu - we asked her to provide some direction and recommendations and seemed annoyed to be helping us. Service like this really does detract from a patrons experience and servers should be more knowledgeable on providing advice on menu selections. Other than that we had a great experience - I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and look forward to coming back in the future.

We enjoyed eating at Bonefish Seafood Restaurant on 3 occasions during our too-short 5-day holiday on Denarau Island, Fiji, a few weeks ago. Firstly, we dropped in for a light lunch one day and were blown over by the delicious Garlic Prawns and Masala Fried Fish so decided to return for dinner that night. We couldn’t resist having the Garlic Prawns again and both had the Ahi Tuna, which were delicious. We returned on our last night in Fiji to enjoy a feast of the Bonefish Grill, Sizzled Chili Garlic Prawns, and Fiji’s Famous Kokoda. OMG, I don’t think I’ll ever forget that beautifully presented awesome dinner! Mereia and Rusila, and the rest of the staff, were so welcoming, sweet, efficient and friendly. Even the chefs were great guys as we complimented them on the food they’d produced. And we were so grateful when Rusila ran out of the restaurant afterwards to give us a bag that we’d left behind! We’re determined to have another (longer) holiday in Fiji next year when our first meal will be at Bonefish! Thanks for making our digestive systems so happy. 😊

We come here every visit. It's not cheap but the view and the food makea visit here worth it. Ask for s 2 seater on the wharf for the sunset and you will not be disappointed. The surf and turf is Fiji style and delicious.

Restaurant
Cardo's Steakhouse & Cocktail Bar is a popular spot on the island, offering a variety of delicious food and refreshing cocktails. Named after Espero Cardo, it has a unique history dating back to the early 1800s. Known for its steaks, wood-oven pizzas, and open-deck dining room with a view of the port, this establishment has been an institution in Fiji for years.
What an amazing spot! The food, service, and overall vibe were all fantastic. We ended up having dinner here three nights in a row because we loved it so much. The pizza was delicious, the garlic prawns were full of flavour, and the tacos were absolutely perfect. Everything was fresh, well-made, and served with a smile — truly a place worth coming back to! Food is pricey but well worth it..
Tanvi A — Google review
Location is awesome, service was great but could be better as they forgot our order. Price was reasonable for drinks and food. Oyster calpatri were on special for $15 with Ham but I couldnt find the oyster but ham only. The Fish salad was not too great as fish was overcooked and so was chicken (chicken salad). Basically we only enjoyed the location and drinks. Gave 2 stars as we had coconut water in the morning and girls were very awesome. Kitchen needs to do better in terms of food quality.
Winnie W — Google review
During our recent visit, we sampled several pizzas and found the large size ideal for sharing with family. However, the toppings left us wanting more: on the seafood pizza, the seafood was diced so finely that it lost its texture and flavor, and the Meat Lovers pizza, while hearty, failed to distinguish itself in taste or presentation. On the upside, the service was friendly and attentive, and the Fiji Gold beer was perfectly chilled. Overall, the atmosphere and cold beer were highlights, but the pizzas themselves could benefit from more generous, better-seasoned toppings and bolder flavors
Dokyun K — Google review
We wish we’d found this place earlier in our trip. With subpar food at our hotel, this place was a blessing. First decent cocktail in 3 days 😂 and the music and vibe was spot on. Let’s chat about Fiji food - I don’t think you go to Fiji for the food. So this food was just fine. Better than half the other places we ate. Keep it up guys!
Irena M — Google review
The steak was such an amazingly tender ribeye but they rely more on selling sauce than actually seasoning the meat properly. Nice place right in the marina service was top notch. Ran out of lobster for surf and turf add on.
John I — Google review
Lovely location at the Marina. A pint of Fiji gold is $6FJD and my partner said it was the best he had all holiday. My strawberry frozen motijo was amazing! Only $10FJD. We had nachos and shared them and they were sooo good, not one didn’t have cheese or meat on. The pineapple salsa on top was great too. The lady who served us, I think her name was Marie she was so lovely and so attentive. A great server, nothing was slow! There was a live singer too which was lovely
Melissa S — Google review
Nice spot with a great atmosphere and friendly service. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Kokoda — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The chicken parmigiana was decent, though nothing standout, while the lamb shank was a bit average and the mashed potatoes could’ve used more seasoning. Overall, a mixed experience — worth a visit for the Kokoda, but a few dishes could use a little extra touch to match the beautiful setting.
Anushay K — Google review
Had the large seafood platter to share among three adults. Food was definitely enough to share however everything was overcooked and dry. The poor lobster came out like eating beef jerky. The meal itself took nearly an hour to arrive. Staff were really friendly but they were short of staff and stretched thin. You would only go there for the atmosphere and view, not the food.

Restaurant
Waitui Bar & Grill, located within the Sofitel Resort on Denarau, offers a carefully curated selection of wines, champagnes, and cocktails alongside a menu featuring fresh ingredients from Fiji and surrounding areas. The restaurant's specialty lies in its meat and seafood offerings, all cooked on a housebuilt charcoal grill for that signature charred flavor. With its poolside location and luxurious resort atmosphere, it's considered one of the best dining spots in Fiji for special occasions.
We had an unforgettable private beach dinner at Waitui Bar & Grill – and it was simply perfect! From start to finish, everything was beautifully organized. Our server, Lucy, was incredibly warm, attentive, and professional – she truly made the evening even more special. We chose the Beef Dinner Menu and were absolutely blown away. The quality, the preparation, the presentation – and most of all, the flavor – just wow! Every course was a delight, perfectly seasoned and served with great attention to detail. Combined with the sunset on the beach, the sound of the ocean, and the magical ambiance, it honestly felt like a scene from a movie. A huge thank you to the entire team (you can't do it better!) – we would do it again in a heartbeat!

We booked a private dinner with Waitui Bar & Grill, and it was such an amazing experience! We chose the Love for Greens five-course set menu, which was $220 FJD plus a $60 FJD setup fee, and it was absolutely worth it. Our first drinks were complimentary, which was such a lovely touch. The food was incredible, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time. The views were absolutely stunning, and we genuinely had the best evening. I had mentioned that I had just turned 21 the day before, and the staff surprised me by singing happy birthday and bringing out a slice of cake on a decorative plate that said “Happy Birthday.” It was such a thoughtful and memorable gesture! I took photos of most of the dishes, though I completely forgot to capture the beautiful desserts they were just too good to wait for a picture!
Courtney C — Google review
Winning combination with both food and staff. Most importantly the staff are dedicated, kind, hand working and deliver a very beautiful service. Mary, Wilma, Keasi, Bai, Amanda, Kat and Vau are such beautiful, beautiful people and assist with the delivery of an awesome evening. These reviews you read speak the truth and I speak from the heart. The food is exquisite, and with a very rare service delivery makes it a winning combination. Like others who have commented, I would fly to Fiji, just for a meal here. 10/10. Get your ass down here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and you’ll see for yourself what the winning formula is. Look around you, there are hundreds of acts of service which make this 5-star, world class service. Did you know many guests look forward to returning to this gem and reminiscing their time here and reconnecting with the staff? It’s quite a rarity in itself. Like all wonderful places, this place has subtle details. You’re best to find these for yourself as I’d be writing an essay if I would write all the small details which also prove to have winning formulas. A big shout out to Siti who overseas everything. He is an absolute gem and legend.

Located right next to the water, one dines to the soothing sound of waves dancing along the shore. The steak was amazing! Wilma was phenomenal!

The selection of beef cuts and fish is not extensive, but well curated. The cooking of our dishes was perfect. Lovely drinks. Ideal for a date night.
Michael J — Google review
One of the best breakfast of my life and great for dinner too. The food is very good and sophisticated just enough to feel fancy and comfortable at the same time. Ambiance is perfectly relaxing by the beach (some tables are even on the sand) with the sound of the waves, palm trees and a view on the nearby islands or the classy adults only pool. Evening entertainment includes great musicians. Cocktails are many, original and classic. But the best thing about this restaurant is the exceptional service and amazingly friendly, helpful and efficient staff. They make you feel at home and treat you like a very important person in the most natural and relaxed Fijian way. Can't wait to be back!

Koro Restaurant, situated within the Hilton Hotel, offers an exclusive dining experience for adults. This beach club-style restaurant is perfect for couples and groups of friends looking to unwind while enjoying live entertainment and two stunning beachfront pools. The bar serves delightful sharing platters and a variety of cocktails, wines, beer, and Champagne. Guests can also indulge in a generous breakfast spread with tropical fruits and made-to-order hot dishes.
Everything what we ordered was delicious. Specially very happy with order of whole snapper for two. It served with side salad and and lots of vegetables. Decent portion, will order again. Cheesecake I felt didn’t taste fresh. Drinks were delicious lovely service, amazing singing, it was relaxing nice meal made us feel at peace.

Friendly staff, food options and the breathtaking water view is what made it worth starting the my day with a breakfast at Koro. Milly, the hostess, was attentive to details, personable and warm. Overall a 5 out of 5 on everything!

Breakfast buffet was good - I chose this restaurant (out of 3 in the Hilton property because there are no kids)… since I had a great experience with Percy my server - I decided to return for lunch! Unfortunately lunch a la Carter was poor … I ordered the salmon cakes to find out perhaps a minuscule piece of salmon smaller than my nail sparse in leaps of mashed potatoe - I sent it back. My second choice was ceviche with frozen fish and prawns … what a bad experience! My third and final choice was chicken wings which was acceptable and tasty
Lillie E — Google review
First, the positives: the food was very good, and the service was excellent in terms of communication. The waitress was lovely and kept us well-informed, which is important. There was also a good selection of cocktails, wines, and beers. However, there were some negatives. Despite having a reservation for 6:30 pm, we didn't leave until 9:45 pm due to a painfully long wait. This delay nearly ruined the last night of our trip. The restaurant wasn't busy, so the reason for the delay is unclear, and we almost walked out. Other patrons experienced similar issues. This is not what we expected from an international chain like the Hilton.

Cafe O Denarau is a popular eatery in Nadi, Fiji, founded by Fijian-born siblings John Oyagawa and Cherie Oyagawa-Smith. The cafe emphasizes fresh ingredients, quality coffee, and modern Pacific cuisine. With locations in Martintar and Denarau, the cafes feature bright and modern interiors with indoor and outdoor dining options. Visitors can enjoy a diverse menu at affordable prices within walking distance of Port Denarau.
Came here for a morning meeting with coffee but ended up with a tasty brunch. Coffee was perfect in texture, the salad was super fresh and crispy, and the booster fresh juice was so well prepared with edible flower petals. Highly recommend this place.

We were staying at the hotel so decided to eat lunch here one day. The three people who were running the place when we were there were really nice as most Fijians are. Food takes a really long time to come out so I don't recommend coming here if you're on any time restraints. Ordered the mango lassi and it was really good. Not too sweet like a lot of places and it was not as thick as what we usually have at home in the States. The fish and chips was ok in my opinion. The fried rice was actually really good and my friend had leftovers for dinner. The coconut cake had a very sweet icing and the fruit salad was ok too.

Came for a private event and it’s a total vibe, love the staff - super attentive and kind. The food was great! Loved the salads and mixed seafood plate the most. Coconut cake is AMAZING.

Staff are amazing, so attentive, friendly and welcoming!! The atmosphere is fantastic, so chill and a nice place to relax. Food and drinks are amazing, mudslide cocktail became my go to but all are amazing!! All of the food is so yum, always cooked to perfection and full of flavour. Special shout out to Serry, great service and so lovely to chat with. The owners and management are great people, happy to chat and so welcoming. Cafe O definitely made our trip Fiji as great as it was. We plan on coming back just to spend our time here!

My group also had the fish and chips, the thai green curry, and the potato-o cake which were equally delicious. We finished it off with a fresh baked brownie and muffin - they were so good! Definitely will return here for coffee and a meal again.

This is my-to in Denarau! I’ve been here for breakfast, brunch, lunch, cocktails, and dinner — and every single visit has been fantastic. From their fresh juices with an extra ginger kick, fluffy hot cakes (try the butterscotch and banana!) and creamy carbonara, to their incredible coconut flourless brownie and refreshing soursop margarita, everything is made with care and flavour. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the staff are genuinely friendly, and the owners go out of their way to make you feel at home. Whether you’re starting your day or winding down in the evening, this is a must-visit when in Denarau.

Cafe O truly has something for everyone! Their extensive yet quaint menu is full of flavorful and tasty options with vegetarian and gluten free options. Also, their drink selection (from coffee to juices and smoothies) is the best I’ve seen in all my Fiji trips (the chai is a must try)! Above all, their cakes are to die for! You can’t come without ordering their citrus yogurt cake :) Will be revisiting as often as possible, a new favorite and one for the books!!

Chantara Thai Restaurant at Radisson Blu Resort, Fiji is a must-visit dining spot for those looking for an authentic taste of Thailand in the heart of Denarau. The restaurant offers a relaxed, semi-outdoor setting with views of the resort's waterfall feature.
Loved the meals we had here. Great tasting food and all curries are gluten free.

Very tasty dinner tonight with good portion sizes. Yum, yum, yum. Our waitress Finau was great and our chef Pau was on point with our sweet and sour pork and sizzling chicken. Starters were very tasty as well.

We are staying in the neighbouring resort but heard that this restaurant is good so we just had to try them and it didn't disappoint. The location of the restaurant created a nice dining atmosphere. The service was amazing. Their vegetarian Pad Thai didn't have any tofu so I requested to have them. No request is too much for them. The food was great. Would we recommend this place - definitely 😁

Tonight for the first time in my life i sent a dish back to the kitchen, i had ordered pad thai, and something strange was served, at a guess a double measure of tamarind or fish sauce, whatever it was, it was bad. Sometimes mistakes happen in the kitchen, so I very politely and discretely let the waitress know. What proceeded after was a very rude and uncomfortable experience with 2 further people coming over asking me to explain why I didn't like the food while the waitresses and chefs stood in the bar area clearly discussing me and my choice, if youre so confused taste the meal. A terrible experience and my friends meals were also awful, and the waitress also ordered the wrong water which of course was more expensive. With so many choices I would not recommend this one.

This spot tends to get quite busy, so booking ahead is essential. We tried the chicken egg noodles, grilled prawns, and papaya salad. The noodles and salad were excellent—fresh and flavorful. However, the grilled prawns were a letdown, slightly overcooked and tough, with minimal sauce to accompany the plain rice.
Madhuparna B — Google review
Mary and Jella our waiters was absolutely amazing with all request we asked for because of dietary restrictions. Our hats off to the chefs Lia and Paul for putting forth the efforts in meal preparations, and delicious finished product. And Joe the man at the helm of the bar made some tasty modified beverages. Definitely worth the walk from Sheraton to have a wonderful evening, nice setting, and outstanding customer service.

We had an wonderful experience tonight at Chantara! We have already booked to go back tomorrow night. The lovely Ivon was very attentive and thoughtful (and wonderful with our two young kids) and everything Chef Pau cooked us was incredible. We had the spring rolls, satay chicken, sizzling chicken & pork ribs and the kids had the chicken lollipops (chicken skewers) and chicken noodle soup. It also overlooks a waterfall and is kid friendly - what more could you want. Can’t wait to go back there. Bookings highly recommended - probably 24 + hours

Overall, I had a good experience at Chantara Thai. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, and there is a good outdoor Thai atmosphere. The menu is broad and offers a slight and well performed Fijian twist to traditional Thai dishes. Before ordering we were brought out a bowl of traditional Thai crackers, which were quite nice. The food is very tasty and has an excellent texture. The meat in both my chicken skewers and beef was a bit overcooked and dry, but this was only the performance of a single chef and visit. Once we informed the waiter Lote, who was very professional, he and his manager quickly rectified the issue. Overall it was a great experience, but only one of a 4 Star restaurant.

Asian restaurant
Maravu Restaurant & Bar is a popular dining spot in Denarau Island, Fiji. The menu features a variety of Info-Fijian specialties such as Crab Masala and Lamb Roganjosh, offering unique flavors to tantalize your taste buds. The restaurant has an Asian-inspired atmosphere with a lively bar menu serving tasty cocktails and an open kitchen full of steam and fire. While the food receives praise for its deliciousness, some dishes like laksa are noted to be very salty.
Asian fusion. Japanese is a bit of a stretch. Food was delicious and good atmosphere. Chefs and wait team did a great job with food and services Enjoyed the Banquet. Daiquiri were excellent Great work !

We had the most incredible dining experience at Maravu on our last night in Fiji. The food was exceptional, particularly the Massaman beef curry and cucumber salad. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. The atmosphere of the restuarant gives a truly symbolic Fiji experience with breathtaking sunset views. Definately a must for dinner when visiting Denarau.
Kara-Lee M — Google review
We came to this restaurant for its atmosphere. We made a dinner reservation for 6:00pm so we could take pictures with the sunset. We ordered the family style set menu (4 starters, soup, 4 mains, 2 dessert, and 2 alcoholic drinks) for approx. $44 USD per person, which I think is pretty reasonable considering it's in a resort and located right on the beach. I would have to pay far more in a Laguna Beach Restaurant. The food tastes better than I expected and it does have authentic Asian flavors. It's great being able to eat right on the beach. The only drawback was that the little lamp on the table was not very bright, so it was hard for us to see our food after the sun set. Contrary to other reviews, our service was actually pretty fast. It might be because we called ahead and came early.
Emily L — Google review
A thoroughly enjoyable and heartwarming experience for our family's last night in Fiji. The staff did everything they could to make the night enjoyable and relaxed, including serving the children's meals first, catering to everyone's tastes and even noticing that some of us were feeling cold, so they turned the fan speed down. The atmosphere was great - it was so nice to see the staff sing Happy Anniversary to a neighbouring table ... I had the salt and pepper squid for entree, the beef massaman for main and the chocolate peanut butter mousse for dessert - would have loved to try the Lemongrass Brulee, but my niece got the last one :) - It was all delicious. I would recommend Maravu without hesitation! Thank you for your delicious meals and excellent service.
Maha D — Google review
Amazing dining experience here. We ate here 3 nights out of our 10 night stay. Staff are friendly, accomodating and really went to extra mile for our family. Massaman curry was one of the best we’ve tasted. Fabulous man managing the restaurant as well as Teresa, Matelita and Lina. Must try when staying at Hilton!
Nathan M — Google review
This is 4.5 stars for us. We were seated without a reservation quickly and without fuss, even though they were quite busy. Food came out quickly and was delicious. The Waitress was attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere was very nice, with flame lanterns surrounding the outdoor deck and the light crashing of the waves. Negative points: Menu was very disjointed and didn't flow well at all, with drinks listed amongst the food. The cocktails were sickly sweet and thick, like straight cordial. We would go back there again.
Haley B — Google review
What a time to be a alive, Maravu couldnt get any better. Delicious cocktails to amazing asian cuisine. I am going to dine again there tomorrow night! Had Ruci as our waitress and she was wonderful.

Highly recommend this restaurant in Hilton resort for people staying as a guest or outside guests. The food is fabulous and the service is phenomenal. Fijian people are so friendly and nice at Hilton to everyone and kids. The restaurant is located right on the beach front so lovely sunset views. We did not have a reservation, but they still managed to find a table for us on a busy Friday night. Food is well presented, good portion, smells really good and reasonably priced for hotel. Fiji beer such as vonu is also a easy to drink and refreshing beer to start the night. When ordering food, you need to be super clear with them if you have any dietary or allergy requirements. We specifically ask for no peanuts and chilli, and it got served with chilli. They were nice enough to make as a new dish without chilli even though we already eaten half. Staff members are super friendly, frequently check if everything is okay and if we wanted more drinks. Crab dish is well worth a try, big in portion and delicious, but you need to rock up early so you don’t get disappointed before it sells out. Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Price 💰💰💰💰

Mama's Pizza in Port Denarau is a beloved destination for families seeking a taste of home while enjoying their vacation. This delightful pizzeria offers an impressive range of gourmet and classic pizzas, ensuring there's something to please every palate—from the timeless Margherita to the rich seafood and BBQ chicken varieties. Known for its generous portions and authentic flavors, Mama's Pizza has become a go-to spot for both locals and tourists alike.
The food is excellent. They have a sit out area too which o rather preferred them sitting inside. Excellent food and good service. Didn’t have to wait much to place the order considering that the food was freshly made.

Absolutely mind blown away from this place. Ladys at the counter seemed uninterested to serve us. Knowing Fiji is known for the Bula smile and friendly people. This is the first place I’ve ever experienced such a bad dinning experience!! I never write reviews but have to warn people from doing the same mistake as I did. Tried to grab a quick bite before catching a ferry, ordered my pizza at 11:15am being the first customers there and waited until 12:10pm to get our pizza. There were 4 other customers who came well after 11:40am got pizzas earlier than us. The pizza we ordered was soo terrible and just was falling apart. We just stood up and left. I HOPE YOU GUYS GET KARMA! THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO TREAT ANYONE. Also they forgot our drinks 🤣🤣🤣 CHANGE YOUR STAFF ASAP

We loved Mama's Pizza this evening YUM! We ate here about 11 years ago and it's the same, Could be time for a facelift to enhance the atmosphere. Prices seemed a little on the high side. The staff seemed lethargic/unmotivated. We ordered (M) Big Bird (Very processed chicken👎🏻) (M) Meat Lovers, Solo BBQ Chicken (Delish!) Solo Mozzarella, the Solo size is perfect for a child. We really enjoyed our pizza. Air-Con☑️

This was a long-awaited 13-year wait to eat their famed Nadi special pizza. Although time has subtly altered its taste, the deep nostalgia infused in every slice made the experience profoundly satisfying. Complementing this culinary revival, the staff's friendliness and pleasant service added a warm, welcoming touch to the visit. However, a note on ambiance: the padded seating, showing signs of wear, suggested a need for refurbishment. Despite this, the charm of revisiting a cherished place and taste remained undiminished, weaving together past and present in a delightful gastronomic tapestry.

We had a nice time at Mama's Pizza. It was a good choice as the pizza was fresh and tasty. The staff is friendly and kind.

Had Mama's Pizza 10 years ago and had to go again this time. The lady gave us the explanation about the sizes and showed us the plates. You can get half and half for the Medium or Large sizes only. We ordered a Large for 2 adults and 2 kids and still had a little left over. We saw plenty of others who ordered too much and had takeaways. Good price but maybe they could put more toppings or have other sides like fries
William L — Google review
Very unfriendly staff. Pizza came late , poor quality. Over priced. Cold athmosphere. I was not welcomed here …
Martin S — Google review
I ordered the garlic pizza, small tandoori chicken pizza and the the works in family size. The pizzas tasted fine but they weren't worth it for the price. Service was extremely slow - I was in the queue for basically 20 minutes to place my order and my friends and I were eating in. The restaurant really needs a facelift on the interior and an air conditioning system and probably more than one till or even online ordering so that there is some efficiency with ordering. Water should also be offered to patrons. Other than this, the location is great. Outdoor seating is also an option (if it isn't bucketing down).

Bulaccino Café in Denarau, Nadi offers a fusion of European café style with the local flavors of Fiji. The café is renowned for its impeccably crafted espressos, cappuccinos, and lattes, as well as a thoughtfully curated menu featuring organic produce sourced from its own farm. Dishes like pineapple, avocado, and honey are served in their natural goodness. It provides an affordable dining option compared to the resort meals at Port Denarau.
We ordered the Chicken Cashew salad & the Nicoise Salad. They ran out of big takeout boxes, so they put them in 4 smaller boxes. Very fresh & great taste. Nice little cafe. Good option beside the resort restaurants. Service was slow, they cook fresh. So be patience.

Nice little cafe outside sheraton. Open for breakfast and lunch. Service can be bit slow. Great Coffee. $15 Combo for Bacon and egg roll and coffee. Tip: They do toasted or fresh tuna/chicken/egg sandwiches for FJD $6. Not on the menu. Just need to ask

Absolutely loved this cafe! They source all their food from their own farm (including the honey!) so it’s all nice, fresh and 100% organic. The smoothies, coffee and chicken wrap I had were all great. Will definitely be on my regular places to visit when we’re next in Fiji.

Very good service but the food haven't been so nice. The toast has been burned in all 3 breakfasts we've had and the hash browns had a funny taste. Reheated or cooked in old oil. Paid 5 fiji dollars for bacon added to my eggs on toast and had just one slice of bacon cut in 2. Coffee was ok.

Chicken bagels and our salad were very yummy and decoratively presented. Service with a smile. High chair available. Food from this chain comes partially from Fijian farms. Free Wi-Fi. Prices slightly better than the ridiculous resort prices (especially for the specials). Air conditioned but not drafty. All in all, an excellent experience. We will visit again, maybe even for dinner.

Solis Restaurant & Suka Bar is a beachside eatery on Denarau Island, offering breathtaking sunset views over Fiji. The staff is known for their exceptional warmth and friendliness, providing top-notch service that makes guests feel like family. The menu focuses mainly on fish dishes, with the Kokoda dish being a standout - fish cured in coconut cream served with taro chips. Visitors rave about the Indian cuisine's authentic flavors and high quality.
Had our best dinner experience here at the Sofitel Solis restaurant. Up until this place, we've been a little disappointed with our food. One friend (who is from Fiji) said that you can't compare the food in Fiji vs Melbourne. But I'm glad to say this restaurant would def pass as a good restaurant back home! Our waiters and the front of house were quite attentive and gave good suggestions (the best service we've had in Fiji for the whole trip). We tried a variety of food - Lobster Bisque, Pork Belly, Squid Ink Linguine and Salmon. If I was to be picky, I would say that the Bisque was a bit too salty, but otherwise was full of flavour! The only disappointment was the Panacotta. 100% worthy of a Bula Bus ride to here if you are looking for GOOD food in Fiji!
Bruno L — Google review
This was a beautiful resort with really kid friendly pools and beautifully decorated throughout. We were staying at another hotel nearby and decided to walk over for lunch on the beach at Solis. We were greeted warmly by our waitress Annie and seated at a breezy table with views of the beach. Food took awhile after we ordered. I ordered their signature seafood kabobs but it was just average. 2-3 pieces of fish with a couple of shrimps and two tiny pieces of squid. We also ordered the carnivore pizza. The crust was nice but we found the pizza average as well. The wagyu burger was ordered medium but it came out well-done so that was a big disappointment. I would say that the food isn't that great and I've had better at restaurants nearby at Port Denarau. If you're there specifically for the view so maybe just come to enjoy the sunset with a nice drink from their bar Suka instead.
Sharon B — Google review
We overheard people on a bus talking about this restaurant and how good the lobster bisque was. We went and were not disappointed. The lobster bisque is poured over seafood (scallops and prawns) and served with garlic bread. Beautiful. I then ordered the linguine lobster bisque. Excellent. One of the best meals we had in Fiji.
C C — Google review
We are staying on a nearby hotel and decided to try Solis. It was advertised as fine dining but the place felt more like a cafeteria. Lighting was too bright, the staffing felt very robotic wuth everyone seeming to be running to a very formulatic training manual. Our waiter kept on putting the cap back on the wine bottle😄. Food plating was good but quality of food was average at best. Example being linguine pasta that was as thick as my finger! All in all, can do so much better. Felt more like we were in a fast food restaurant.
Dee B — Google review
The food, service, and views here were all outstanding. We had the steak and squid ink pasta—both were exceptional. The coconut crème brûlée was enjoyable too, though the use of canned fruits was a slight letdown. Overall, this was one of our favorite dining spots during our time in Fiji.
Madhuparna B — Google review
The food here is amazing! We chose a late sitting which meant we pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves. The service was amazing

Moana looked after us and the entire evening was beautiful. We had king salmon and Angus beef. Both highly recommended. There was a night show which was great to watch from. Amazing service, staff are welcoming and lovely. Food was very good. We tried the pork dumplings, tempura vegetables, teriyaki roll and the chicken burger. To drink, we had the sex on the beach, illusion and coke no sugar. All were very nice, the dumplings sauce was stunning! Would come back here. Only downside was the maintenance work otherwise atmosphere would be 5/5 as well.

Conveniently located inside Port Denarau and right next to the busy South Sea cruise terminal. We had both breakfast and lunch here. There's a nice view of the harbor of sitting outside on their front patio. Food was hit or miss, but the service was excellent. We were recommended the kokoda and that was delicious. We ordered the tropical juice and iced chai latte and they were good too. The pan fried dumplings weren't so good and the coconut shrimp appetizers were a little overcooked. The fish burger was a bit too well done so it was a bit dry. Lunch menu doesn't start until 11am. Their fries need to be cooked longer. I found the food to be better at breakfast. The big breakfast plate has a ton of food and could easily feed two people.

A hotspot by the port. Great spot for pre or post cruise drinks. Great ambience and good choice of music! Fairly, I can say it looks busy because its good location in front of the entry. The food is overpriced with poor quality. We waited for 45 minutes for the menu and 1 hour for the food but look how they served us a “Prawn cooktail” I asked for water but the manager and staff seems to ignore us. Don’t ruin your holiday here. 😕😕😕

We liked this restaurant so much we had lunch here 3 times in 4 days. The staff were attentive and the food quick to arrive. Nice beer and a range of healthy and hearty food. This place is very popular when the day trip boats come in from around 3-4pm, but otherwise it was easy to get a table outside.

We came here 12 months ago and enjoyed probably the best filet mignon we'd ever had. We ordered it again tonight but were very disappointed. Tonight's effort was a crime against beef. Dry and tough. No bacon wrap. Very poor effort (especially for the price). Not convinced it was Australian rather than local beef.

The Wet Edge is a charming restaurant located at the Sheraton Denarau Villa in Denarau Island, Fiji. It offers delicious lunches and dinners on the sun deck, allowing guests to enjoy Fijian-style cocktails during their daily happy hour from 4 pm to 5 pm by the pool. While some visitors found it windy in the afternoon, they praised the delicious food and friendly staff who accommodated special requests like making Spaghetti Napolitana despite it not being on the menu.
Dining at Wet Edge is an unforgettable beachfront experience. Located alongside the infinity pool, practically at the water's edge, the restaurant boasts phenomenal ocean views. The addition of a wooden deck enhances the relaxed and tranquil atmosphere. The Asian cuisine served here is truly exceptional and authentically prepared. A must-try is the catch of the day. During our visit, it was Snapper, beautifully fried to perfection and drizzled with a delectable Asian-style sweet chili sauce. It was so good, I'd give it six stars if I could! The service at Wet Edge is equally impressive. Mita and Sava, in particular, were incredibly friendly and attentive, taking excellent care of us throughout our meals. We enjoyed the restaurant so much that we dined there twice during our stay. It's the perfect spot for a memorable meal with stunning views and delicious food.

I ordered a Prawn Pad Thai (which was about $38Fiji ($29NZD). The Pad Thai had about 4 Prawns, and the rest of the Pad Thai Noodles was smothered in soy sauce. It was disgusting and it was one of the most atrocious meal I have ever had in my life. The service was great, however the level of meal I had was below par, I couldn't justify spending that amount. My husband was also disappointed with his meal, we would not rate this place at all.

Wet Edge is a bit of a hidden gem at the resort! We had two amazing dinners here, both times hosted by Mes, who was simply outstanding. With a big group spread across three rooms, Mes made everything seamless – his service was attentive, friendly, and professional. The food was exceptional – fresh, flavoursome, and beautifully presented. Several adults in our group also enjoyed spending time at the swim-up bar, where Vimi and Epi looked after them brilliantly. The whole Wet Edge team was amazing. Highly recommend it for a special night out at the resort!

Disappointing experience to say the least. Staff doing their best but clearly have no skin in the game. Employees of a mega franchise so they couldn't care. Lots of, why on earth moments.. Some nice looking tables at the edge with lovely mood lighting, then ruined suddenly by them switching on bright lights under the cover. Drinks took an age to come, meals average. No music. Prices high. Just not good enough for an establishment of this calibre. Won't be back but why would they care.... Captive audience, high turnover of guests. Very poor.

Once again avoid all port Denaru restaurants. I don’t understand why they don’t have some quality to presentation or decent food or better taste when charging 50$/ ave food. (All halal food in Fiji) We had their pizza special 15inch chicken supreme with chips and 1.25 coke - 49$. Probably the only good item. The prawn rice 10 piece for 40$ was absolutely horrible - avoid at all costs. The chicken Parmesan was also subpar and I shd have never ordered it. The chicken meat felt more like frozen and then microwaved!! 43$ - complete and utter waste. Mix grill with lobster was good and worth the try at 75$ Apple juice 11$ - basically out of the tetra pack!!! Go to town and try local food- much cheaper and better from. Quality perspective The only good thing here was the view Total bill 270$!!!

I got the spaghetti Napoli from here and it’s was nice, my mum got the “catch of the day” fish and it was terrible, the knife could barely cut through it as it was very stiff and dry. The pizza was fine. They also had their blender Brocken so they couldn’t make many of the cocktails/mocktails. Overall nice view and mediocre service but watch out for what you order.

Eaten here many times, food is good. Took the family here on latest trip, what a disaster. Advertising $6 coconut drink at entrance, not available. Pizza oven not working. Mocktails for kids, blender not working, no white wines available. Seriously why open. Kids starving, check how far away kids meals are… “did you order” was reply. That’s it walked out. I know we’re in Fiji but really!

It’s been a long time since we’ve been as disappointed by a restaurant as we were at Amalfi. The place initially seemed very promising – a diverse menu, well-designed tables, and a charming, friendly waitress created the impression of a great meal ahead. Unfortunately, the food told a different story. From the appetizers, the eggplant dish was quite good, but the grilled octopus (or what was supposed to be) bore no resemblance to squid or any kind of seafood. Instead, it felt more like deep-fried crumbs that were almost impossible to chew. For the main courses, the carbonara pasta arrived cold. The spinach ravioli in tomato sauce, which was promised to have a pinkish hue, was overwhelmed by an acidic tomato flavor that masked everything else. We ordered two lasagna dishes – only one was brought to the table. It was small, lukewarm, and inexplicably accompanied by a pile of industrial-style French fries, covered in so much salt that they were inedible. The missing pasta dish arrived 35 minutes later, by which point we had already given up on it. In summary: Amalfi may look like a great place for a meal, but in reality, it was a major disappointment. We won’t be returning.

I can not fault a thing. We were a party of 4 who all ordered different lunch specials and the servings were large and outstanding in freshness and flavour. The staff were attentive and pleasant. Will definitely eat there again

I got food poisoning here! 😞😞 The servers were great & were so friendly, I know it’s not their fault but I came here for my birthday and I got the worse food poisoning the first day I landed. I couldn’t believe it because the food was actually pretty decent (I got the carbonara, don’t do it) I so was so disappointed because I wanted to give a good review, smh. The following two & a half days It finally got out my system, but please yall don’t make the same mistake I did. 0/10

Good prices for the amount of food. Food comes out quickly and the flavor and taste is great. Service is slow. We are on island time on holiday so the wait was not an issue. Started off at a table by the water but the sun was right in our faces so we asked if we could move somewhere else, they moved us to a different table out of the sun.

The Hot Bread Kitchen, located in Port Denarau, is a popular bakery known for its delicious array of freshly baked goods. From pies and rolls to cakes and loaves, everything is made on-site and often served warm. The flaky pastry pies are particularly recommended, filled with flavorful ingredients. Visitors praise the cream buns for their nostalgic taste and the cheese and onion bun as a savory alternative. The coconut buns also receive high praise.
We tried a few different things: the onion and cheese bun and the coconut one were great and super soft. The coconut cake was a bit too heavy and not too soft for my taste. We didn’t try the pies but they looked great. There are a few tables in front of the bakery where you can sit.

Listen, Fiji isn't the spot for the best bakeries in the world, bit at Fresh Bread Kitchen, there is a real attempt. The chicken Pies were about a 3/5, there is no real flavor but satisfied the pie craving in overall texture. They do have some unique items I have found anywhere else in my travels, so go sample and maybe, they'll surprise you.

There was a line outside from the school kids and locals so we decided to give it a try too. Friendly staff who helped me order and make a decision on what to get. I got the lamb pastry pie and it was a little plain. Hardly any meat and mostly a thick lamb sauce instead. I should get a dessert to try next time.

This is a popular bakery. There was a line up when we visited but didn't need to wait long to be served. They sell a range of savoury and sweet items including loaves of bread, buns, rolls, cakes, cookies, pastries, sandwiches, pies, sausage rolls and drinks. The prices are reasonable and you can pay with cash. So far I've tried the lamb n cheese pie, coconut roll, cheese and onion roll and came back to buy a small loaf of bread to take back to our resort. There is seating available outside.

Cash only. Great to grab some pies, rolls, cakes, buns, loafs. Probably the cheapest place to get a bite in Port Denarau! Highly recommend the pies. Pies are around 5-6 FJD, and loafs are 1-3 FJD.

A very popular bakery in Port Denarau. There were lines going out the door of people wanting to purchase some goodies. We had the beef pie which was fresh and flavoursome. The tables directly outside the bakery make for a great dining area with the bustling township in the background.

My Fijian friend told me I had to come to The Hot Bread Kitchen and try the cream buns and that's exactly what I did. The cream bun from this store was fresh and super tasty. The cream was refreshing and the bread was suuuuuuper soft! Loved it, and now I know why the customer next to me ordered 4!

Tried the mud cake and a chocolate donut (different days!), both were delicious. Very friendly service. Make sure to have cash as they don't take cards. Pro tip: Get a slice of cake, then top it with the ice cream a few doors down

The best restaurant in all Fiji and I mean it. Food soooo delicious all cooked and made by chefs in open kitchen, staff always here if you need something, and atmosphere of this restaurant is incredible. Very warm greetings from Simon, Luca and Alina!!!

We celebrated our engagement here last night and I can honestly say’s it’s one of our favourite dining experiences ever. The staff go above and beyond and are truly lovely people. Our waiter was Le and we loved him!! He was so attentive, warm and knowledgeable. Can’t recommend this place enough. The food was absolutely incredible but it’s the staff that really make this restaurant special.

Sails at Denaray is fantastic - one of the best restaurants in Fiji. Located right on the marina, the restaurant features a large outdoor dining area, a huge indoor area and a bar. The service is top notch and the food is delicious. Everything we ate was beautifully prepared and presented. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience at Sails! We were seated within a minute — probably the fastest service ever. I mentioned we had a flight in about three hours, and the staff were incredibly friendly, fast, and efficient. The food was delicious, especially the fresh fish. There were no tables available by the waterfront, but plenty of comfortable seating inside. They even offered to arrange a taxi (we already had one) and could store our luggage if we wanted to stroll around the marina. Great service, great food — highly recommend!

Beautiful dinner at Sails! Looking out over the marina and having some yummy seafood. The Kokoda was amazing and the grilled fish. And lovely service from Aka 😊

Sails is a great seafood spot offering some unique finds for the foodie in you. Wait staff was polite and attentive. The view of the harbor is a nice touch for a date night. Some of the dishes were a little bland but the unique flavors are worth the visit.

Our experience at Sails could not have been better. Akanise and everyone who worked the restaurant were so friendly and genuinely seemed to want us to enjoy our time there. The pizza was delicious but even better was the mango daiquiri. The young bartender even came to our table to see if we liked it. Not only was it great, I told him it was the best I ever had and I meant it. Beautiful restaurant, great location on the marina, delicious food and drinks, friendly staff. If you have the opportunity to go to Sails@Denarau, I highly recommend it. If we are ever at the Port of Denarau again, I will be going back.

Sitar Indian & Thai Restaurant in Nadi is a popular dining spot offering a fusion of Indian and Thai cuisine. With its flavorful Indian options and authentic homestyle dishes, it has gained a reputation for being one of the best restaurants in the area. Whether you're craving traditional Indian sweets and savories or looking for aromatic Thai dishes, Sitar provides a diverse menu to satisfy your culinary desires.
I read all the reviews. And today we went for dinner. Firstly a really Bula welcome in true Fiji style. Ambience. It's a roadside restaurant, plenty of places to sit, music, sun and really pleasant. Staff. All very attentive, got into it, good communication, understood the menu and were really good. Service. Well it was a tad slow, but hey it's Fiji. Food. Really good taste, texture and flavour. Big portions and good old fashioned quality. It's not 5* dining but for a roadside to a mid range restaurant they punch well above. The difference. I have reviewed literally hundreds of restaurants cafes and alike all over the world. The Cook/Chef came out and asked how was his food. Instant 10/10. This is something some 5 star restaurants can learn from. So, maybe they had a few bad reviews. As of today they are really delivering. I'm here 3 days and it's going to be a daily visit.

The worst service imaginable. Restaurant Manager plays favorites and will only serve you a beer if he feels like. We asked for a beer and he said we don't serve alcohol, the guy behind us asks and he was served. When we asked why, he said he didn't know they had beers. Waited for the food for over an hour, apart from messing up our order, the food was bland and tasteless. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL! Awful service, Awful food! Awful attitude!

Mostly outdoor setup. But they do have a indoor area with fans. Nice Indian food. Large variety of choices. They can make the food spicy or mild. A good portion was served, every one enjoyed the food. They brought us extra plates for the cake. Even played a Indian happy birthday song on their sound system. Parking seems to be pretty small. The other customers have to park on the side of the road. Nice Restraunt overall.

Enjoyed our meals.. staff were lovely. Our waitress was very welcoming and attentive. After we ordered, meals came out quick considering we ordered alot, my pictures are only quarter of what we ordered I forgot to take more photos lol Highly recommend the lamb korma and tika masala grilled chicken, nicely cooked, would prefer if the lamb korma had more chillie! Naan breads were tasty and delicious too! Pricing is reasonble, would dine in again. Vinaka!
Taluz 1 — Google review
The staff and employees there are great. The Naan bread is STELLAR, and it is because they make it the right way. Deba was kind enough to show us the oven they used and introduced us to the head Naan chef! The food here is really good. It's a bit different than the Indian food we are used to in the states. Probably because the ingredients are a bit different. But I love that, discovering how the same dishes we eat are different in other countries. We had the chicken korma and the chicken Tikka masala the night b4. The chicken korma felt like the cream had split and it tasted a bit sour. Was interesting they used raisins and dates?? I still ate it all though and was fine. They also serve Thai food, which I didn't get to try. Price is very reasonable. Decor is simple and welcoming. They will take credit card for an extra service charge. It's all well worth it, though. Get the Naan bread!!!
Mary C — Google review
I think the did a great job overall. Splitting this into different sections. Service: There was a lot of confusion from the waitress. She was yelling at another waitress to order from the other side of the table but then they must have argued so she left. Speed: Granted, We had a super large group of people (30+?). However it took 2 hours to get our first food dish, and they were still bringing out dishes when we were basically done eating. Food: The food was great 5 stars. Compliments to the chef. Water tasted like it was tap water though, which only matters when you're from another country and your immune system isn't used to the local water. Bathrooms: This was odd. The bathrooms were outside on the side of the building in the alley, and they were broken down, disgusting, smelled bad, and dirty. I felt like I was going to get robbed just walking to the bathroom. Overall I'm giving it a 4 because even though the food was great, the other aspects brought my overall feeling of this place down. It's borderline 3.

Forgot the Fiji time, we went for a dinner and got foods after 1 hour after the order, however I couldn’t leave a bad review as the taste was wonderful ! Even though we waited for 1 hour of starving. Pineapple special dish and paneer curry with spinach were so awesome !
Sarang — Google review
For the starters this is not an Indian restaurant, it's a Bangladeshi restaurant run as Indian . We ordered 4 dishes paneer butter masala , Palak paneer , dal makhni and aloo Matar. All the 4 dishes were well below par. Posting the pictures of Palak paneer and aloo matar. The Palak paneer was white in colour. I can't understand in which country is palak paneer white . It's not just white and tasted very bitter . As for aloo matar goes , the potato is not cooked well. The paneer butter masala was very sour and the dal makhani tasted like stale oil . The roti and paranthas were made out of Maida and not atta . They were very thick and felt like having a chewing gum. All in all the food was very very bad 👎 , would never ever recommend this to anyone .

Had a great experience at Cantina Grill & Bar! The atmosphere was relaxed, the food was delicious, and the location right by the marina made it even better. The menu has a nice variety and everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor. A special shoutout to *Lita*, our waitress — she was absolutely wonderful! Our large group of 13 was kindly accommodated without a reservation. What followed was a delightful trifecta of food, drinks and service. Every single one of us enjoyed our meals, the food and drinks surprisingly came out very fast considering they were pretty busy. Service with a smile! What a lovely team. Hope to come back again a few more times before we have to go back to New Zealand.

I came here really craving a loaded nachos, one of my all-time favorite foods. I’ve had plenty of amazing ones before, so I know it’s a bit unfair to compare them since this place is on a small island far from Mexico. The tortilla chips here were a bit thicker and harder than I usually prefer, I like mine thin and crispy. It also wasn’t as cheesy as I’d hoped, since I love mine extra cheesy. There was a slight bitterness in the seasoning that left a bit of an aftertaste. That said, the hospitality more than made up for it. The staff were absolutely wonderful!so warm, polite, and accommodating. They even adjusted my order to serve the nachos with chicken fajita instead of the usual ground beef, which I really appreciated. Thank you so much for the effort and kindness, it definitely left me with a positive impression.

This charming eatery offers an array of traditional dishes that cater to all tastes, from delectable focaccia and antipasti to expertly grilled seafood and handmade pasta. Basilico at the Radisson Fiji was a wonderful dining experience! We had the seared beef tenderloin medallions and the Scaloppine di Vitello al Vino Bianco—both dishes were cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The Italian-inspired menu impressed us, and the oceanfront setting made the evening even more memorable. Our server, Makereta, was warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The ambiance was relaxed yet elegant, and the staff’s genuine hospitality stood out. Highly recommend for a delicious and unforgettable night out! The sunset…. not to be missed!

We arrived at 5pm, well before the dinner rush, hoping to enjoy an early meal with our kids. The restaurant was virtually empty, only three tables taken, yet we were told all the "family tables" were booked. We were polite, explained we were staying next door, and mentioned we'd be gone by 6pm. Still, we were refused. We'd seen the 4.0 rating and the reviews mentioning terrible food, but we weren’t going to be dissuaded. We like to judge for ourselves. Sadly, we never got the chance. It felt clear we were being turned away simply because we had children with us. No apology, no effort to accommodate, just a flat "no." This felt like straight-up discrimination. If you don't want families dining at your restaurant, just say so. Don’t hide behind flimsy excuses. We took our business elsewhere and had a lovely evening. Your loss.

We paid for All inclusive at Radisson, extremely disappointed that it was limited to 3 options for mains (the normal menu had close to 20) and 2 options for entree (of about 10 from normal). Took more than an hour to be given our mains.

We are staying at another resort on Denarau but decided to try out Basilico. We arrived at 5pm and were seated straight away. The service was outstanding (thanks Markareta). We ordered gnocchi and risotto and both meals were very delicious.

We had a wedding anniversary dinner at this restaurant. Service was perfect. Very friendly and we appreciated the effort given. Food for our set menu was limited with 2 options per course. We went with a prawn and bacon pasta. Prawns and bacon were tasty but the sauce was flavourless. Next course was Mahi fish fillet on vegetables. Fish was well cooked, but no sauce or finesse for the dish. Last was desert. These servings were large but lacked finesse. Lastly my wife paid extra for a location dining experience. Although at sunset the location would have been spectacular. It is situated next to the Lebanese restaurant so their customers/kids played in front of us continually which wasn't a major concern, but not worth the additional fee charged. Additionally the music from both places confused the experience. All in all this meal experience cost >AU$300 and was not worth the cost. If you have a special event don't waste your money on the special location event.

My starter was dry as was two others dining, needed sauce, main was the grill with roast potato. The lamb and chicken kebabs and the potatoes were burned and dry. I told the waitress who cleared the table as it was obvious I could not eat it. When we came to pay, the lady offerred a 5% discount, then 10 % discount on my meal. I told her 50% and really should be no charge. In the end she couldn't work out how to do that and removed the whole meal off the account. I said to her if you were served up the burned dish would you pay for it? No response.

Amazing Birthday Celebration at Basilico Italian Restaurant I celebrated my 30th birthday at Basilico Italian Restaurant yesterday, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the staff, including Ruta, La, Tina, and Vatili, welcomed with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entire evening. The ambience of the restaurant was enchanting, with soft lighting, cosy seating, and the ocean view. The attention to detail on everything added to the overall ambience, creating the perfect evening for my special celebration. Now, let's talk about the food - it was simply divine! Every dish we tried was bursting with authentic Italian flavours and made with the freshest ingredients. From the Carbonara to the mouthwatering desserts, each bite was a culinary delight that left us craving more. What truly set Basilico apart was the personalized touch they added to my birthday celebration. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel special, surprising me with a delightful birthday treat of all the staff singing in the Fijian language that added an extra layer of joy to the evening. Being a fan of history and culture it made my celebration truly memorable. Needless to say, I will be back to Basilico Italian Restaurant without a doubt. The combination of exceptional service, delectable food, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it the perfect destination for any occasion. Grazie mille to the entire team at Basilico for making my 30th birthday celebration one for the books!

This was a fantastic Mexican restaurant! I had the Macho Nachos, which were much bigger than I expected, and the calamari—definitely the best I’ve had in Denarau. The staff were friendly, and the food came out quickly. The drink was great too. I’d love to come back!

Came here for a late lunch around 2 pm. We were greeted upon entry and chose to sit outside. There weren't many people here at the time. We were brought menus after a short wait. My husband ordered a chicken burrito and I opted for the anko chilli pork enchiladas. The drinks were brought out first and both meals were came out at the same time. The enchiladas were okay but not at all spicy by my standards. The ramekin sized sides of tomato salsa, guacamole, sour cream & flavoured rice were a welcome addition. I found the pork to be on the dry side. It wasn't a huge serving for a main but just the right size for me. Hubby enjoyed his burrito. If you're quite hungry you're probably better off ordering from the Big Bites & International Fare options. We were able to pay with cash at the counter. You can get a 25% discount for alcoholic drinks daily during happy hour from 3 - 6 pm.

We waited a long time for the food despite the restaurant being very quiet. Service was very average but the food was disappointing too. The chipotle chicken burrito was ok, but the marinated chicken salad needed more seasoning and the salad (almost like a coleslaw) was soggy. Price was ok. I wouldn’t recommend, it’s better to go eat at Sofitel, Radisson Blu or Sheraton.

Very disappointed when me and my friend came in at 9pm for a late dinner. Asked for a table for 2 and no one seated us, I had to go up and ask for menus and after waiting for around 15 minutes for someone to serve us in an empty restaurant no one came. The servers could obviously see we had been waiting but chose to clean tables instead of serve us. I understand that the restaurant closed at 10 but that is still not okay to not serve people waiting for food. Wish we could have liked this place but it is what it is.

With a focus on authentic Vietnamese cuisine with a Pacific twist, the restaurant provides an array of options without overwhelming diners. Guests can expect friendly and attentive service in a contemporary setting within the resort's main building.

Pretty delicious Thai food with some Unique offerings. The duck was particularly good. Also they had some Unique non-alcoholic drinks which I appreciated. The only thing I didn't like is the lighting was too bright giving it a cafeteria feel just a little bit dimmer lighting at night would have given it a softer more elegant atmosphere. I also was not a fan of them not bringing serving spoons when they bring out the communal dishes and made it very hard to get things like the fried rice.

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants I've eaten at. Stand out in Fiji for service, quality of food, atmosphere and service. Also great for kids. Also I have coeliac disease and found the staff knowledgeable. Double bonus. Half the time I won't experience that in New Zealand.

Nice Vietnamese food , family friendly. The food here was delicious, we enjoyed the Atlantic salmon sashimi, sea bass , and tempura prawns. The kids had rice, and fish n chips which they enjoyed. The atmosphere was fairly quiet and subdued but OK. If your kids are loud and cant sit still like mine then its hard to get them to conform. Kids over five only.

Fantastic vibe. Beachside or indoor seating with beautiful views. Wide variety of dining options. The buffet breakfast is great! Hosts and waiters are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Food was delicious. Sandflies on the right side were quite bad, apparently left side is better.

I arrived promptly at 12 pm when they opened for lunch - my Caesar salad with prawns took over 1 hr to be served - and that was AFTER I complaint for the slow service after everyone around me had been served! Once it arrived the food was good

Hard to believe that this restaurant is in a 5 star resort. We arrived at 1pm for lunch, while we were waiting for our room to be ready. Plenty of available seats. We waited for a few minutes for someone to acknowledge us before we found our own seat. We then waited several more minutes and nothing. There were 4 or 5 staff members standing at the desk chatting. I went over and explained we seated ourselves, could we have a menu? Once we had the menus and had ordered we waited about 25 minutes for our food. Food was good, not great. We were never offered water. I attempted to make eye contact several time to get water, but ended up drinking the warm water from our drink bottle. Service was pretty appalling. I wouldn't recommend this place. Really bad first impression of the resort.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Staff were so welcoming and attentive, food great, drinks plentiful, surroundings relaxed.

The staff are such incredibly beautiful people who go out of their way to ensure that you feel comfortable and relaxed. Adi, Joe,and all the team provided such excellent service and made us feel like royalty, rather than just another paying customer. Besides that, the view from here is absolutely beautiful any time of the day, and we are already looking forward to returning here for another holiday.
Chris R — Google review
Very over priced and the food quality isn't great. Ordered a lemon meringue tart for $20 and this thing came out with some ice cream on the top and orange slice, I've never seen a lemon meringue like that. Partner ordered a ice coffee with vanilla ice cream and got chocolate ice cream because they ran out of vanilla and didn't asked what we'd like instead. The service is very bad for the price you pay you'd expect a bit more.

Huge thank you to Lorraine at Nuku for making our time in Fiji truly unforgettable. Every evening we visited, she greeted us with a warm smile and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her kindness and attention to detail really stood out. Service like hers is rare and deserves to be recognised. Vinaka, Lorraine!

Tu's Place is a restaurant in Fiji that offers a fusion of Fijian, Thai, and European-style dishes. They use local ingredients to create authentic and tasty meals, including curries, grilled fish, pasta, and Asian noodles. The menu is diverse and includes something for everyone's taste. The restaurant is known for its fresh seafood prepared in Fijian style as well as its popular grilled fish and salad dish.
Good home cooking. Very nicely presented & huge portions. No one was able to finish their plates. It was worth taking a taxi for 15 people from the Sheraton Denarau Villas, $100 FJD round trip. The small place was packed. We appreciate them taking our reservation for 15 people.

Loved Tu's place. Got great service. Extremely generous portions. We could have easily shared the serving of Fish and Chips between 2 or even happily had the kids fish and chips. The meals were delicious. Reasonably priced. Spacious and clean. Would happily visit again and recommend to otherd.

wanted to eat local cuisine and this was a great place. not far from the Resort where we were staying at. food was great and definitely cheap in comparison to the freshness of the sea food and the portions of the plates. I have noticed that the Fijians do tend to overcook their fishes so if it tastes like chicken then don't take it personal. Food is great and fresh. Definitely worth the visit. Had a water pitcher and found a fly in it. they replaced it with a new pitcher but that goes to show you how you need to adapt. this is normal for islanders. Many foreigners might be disgusted since it is not a 5 star Michelin restaurant that has passed every health inspection. If you are too picky and too westernized, then stay at the resort or eat at McDonalds. otherwise enjoy this local experience with delicious food.

Lovely people, stellar food. Seriously, I was blown away, we had kakoda 3 times on 3 visits and I was blown away by the balance and flavours, make sure you get it appropriately spicy. Also the rourou balls are a must try... These guys can cook.. I didn't try anything other than the Fijian food other than the pancakes, which were also amazing... Holy hell I will miss this place.

Superb food, great variety on the menu, most items can be ordered as vegetarian if requested, nice cafe/diner atmosphere, and delicious food and shakes! We find great places to go and post them on our website at EatWanderExplore! ***edit*** Again, we really enjoyed our second visit to Tu's Place. They have wonderful smoothies and an excellent selection of Fijian dishes, as well as the most tasty/popular dishes from Bali, Thailand, and Singapore. We tried the Kokoda and Lolo Fish this time and would say that the main portion of Kokoda was a bit more than we could eat - even though it was an amazing Fijian dish worth trying. Our favorite so far is the Lolo Fish - and we highly recommend it!

Food servings here are ginormous! we ordered taro leave balls + coconut milk with grilled fish and the Chiang Mai noodles. each dish could well serve 2 people. the taro leaves were great, but the fish was undercooked - it could have been because there were a lot of people and they were rushing out the food. Chiang Mai noodles came out made with pasta noodles, not any Asian noodles as we expected and that's why we ordered the Asian dish. overall disappointed given there were so many 5 star reviews before us!

GREAT food, lovely staff, pleasant tables and pictures too. Went a few times and reccomend the Sour sop....cheesecake. Can get takeaway. Good breakfast spot or anything actually including burgers. Licensed also.

Fiji has a mix of Indian culture plus with influx of Chinese crowd, it is hard to find really pure local Fijian food. Tu's Place is a gem that serves local food with fresh local produce. Besides fish and chips that you recognise, the other 2 dishes are Lolo fish and Kokoda. Coconut is a strong ingredient in their local food. Love the flavours and taste. Went there twice but do take note dinner time can be very crowded. Make a reservation if possible. They have an extensive menu so you will definitely find something to eat. (:

Went here for the high tea at 55 FJD per person. What we received was minimal and disappointing. Friendly staff but expected more for 110 FJD for 2 people. Unlimited bubbles included (we only had 1 glass and bought our own drinks for extra charge as we don’t like bubbles). Were not offered tea or coffee even once.

Highly recommended cafe! The espresso drinks and the pastries & breads are amazing. You must try the almond croissant, quiches, and daily tart. An iced chai with 2 shots of espresso was my daily go-to. Sometimes I’d go twice a day (eek!). The only bummer is they don’t open until 8:00 AM. (I would have liked my morning espresso earlier around 6:00-6:30 AM.).

The Hidden Gem! Lavenia was part of the magic at this beautiful little gem hidden away on the top level of reception. The cafe is a slice out of France and as you’d expect the coffee, treats and nothing too much trouble approach. Not big breakfast eaters, we found a toastie, a little pastry and a coffee great value. We look forward to the great service, friendly family welcome and the beautiful treats when we return. Thank you for making my birthday stay one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Vanaka

Heineken House Restaurant & Bar is the perfect spot for a laid-back dining experience that won’t break the bank. Located adjacent to a picturesque golf course, it offers stunning views of lush greens while you savor your meal. The friendly staff are always eager to assist, even accommodating larger groups on short notice. As you indulge in their delicious wood-fired pizzas, you'll be treated to mesmerizing sunset vistas that enhance the ambiance.
Sunset views over the golf course, coupled with delicious wood-fired pizza and exceptional service – what more could you ask for? This restaurant, nestled in the heart of the Denarau island, offers a truly magical dining experience. As the sun dips below the horizon, the surrounding trees, manicured lawns, and shimmering river are bathed in a golden light, creating a breathtaking backdrop to your meal. The food is equally impressive. Their wood-fired pizzas are some of the best I've tasted, certainly among the best in Fiji. Each pizza is expertly crafted with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection in the wood-fired oven, resulting in a crispy crust and flavorful toppings. Beyond the stunning views and delectable food, the staff truly elevates the dining experience. Their warmth and attentiveness are remarkable. A special shout-out to Viliame and Inise, who went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. Their kindness was particularly evident when our daughter fell asleep during dinner. Inise thoughtfully created a makeshift cradle from two chairs, allowing her to nap peacefully while we enjoyed our meal. This level of care and attention is rare and greatly appreciated. We were so impressed with our experience that we dined here two nights in a row. Without a doubt, if we return to Fiji, this restaurant will be at the top of our list. It's the perfect spot for a memorable evening, combining stunning scenery, mouthwatering pizza, and truly outstanding hospitality.

The place was pretty crowded as there was a rugby game showing on TV, so it took a while for us to get a table Our waitress, Bole, was amazing—super friendly and attentive... 🥰😍 The pizza came out quickly, but the rest of the food took longer than expected. Tried the pork belly with pineapple—found it a bit too sweet for my liking... 😛 Good experience overall!!

We checked before we order as the fish has 3 different size small medium and large They said small is 600g. I can guarantee you there is no way this fish is 600g Also this coconut chicken, the only thing related to coconut is the bowl, chicken taste like tons of water diluted in on chicken leg. The service is super slow. The food is overpriced. Don’t come if you don’t want to be ripped off.
Xintong C — Google review
Dumplings and fried rice was good. Fish was fresh , a little more sauce or salt will be better.
Grace — Google review
Super friendly owner and great service — they even provided free transport from our hotel, which was a lovely touch! Now, the food… hmm. We ordered the chicken wings (28 FJD) — about 3 whole wings, just chopped into small pieces. The “large size” prawn dish (58 or 68 FJD)? You could count them on one hand — and they definitely weren’t large. We also ordered stir-fried vegetables and fried rice — both decent, but nothing memorable. The highlight (or maybe lowlight?) was the “large size” fish (78 FJD), which turned out to be a frozen fish. For that price, we were expecting fresh — or at least a little wow factor — but nope. The sea urchin steamed egg came in a small bowl, not the usual shell presentation, and we weren’t even sure there was real sea urchin in it. Loved the hospitality, but the food portions and quality didn’t match the price. We left with full hearts… and half-empty stomachs. If you go, maybe have snacks waiting back at the hotel.

Visited here for dinner while on holiday at Fiji. Great location right in the middle of Nadi Town. Clean restaurant and friendly attentive staff. Food was cooked fresh and quickly arrived to the table. All meals were tasty and fresh. The serving sizes were great for the price. Very authentic tasting Chinese food. Highly recommend.

Moises M — Google review
Came here with great expectations but left completely disappointed. The lobster tasted like frozen lobster because it has a soft and flaky texture. The steamed "big shrimps" were so tiny and the shrimp meat was stuck to the shells so it's very difficult to eat. The sea urchin steam eggs were a big disaster. The egg had no taste and was so over cooked that it tasted like firm tofu. And we couldn't taste nor find the uni in our steam eggs. The vegetable dishes were good. We had Chinese watercress, bitter melon and okras. The dumplings tasted fine but were overcooked and some were broken. The nice thing is that they will provide transportation from and to local hotels if you spend over 180fj.

Even those who typically shy away from dark chocolate may find themselves converted by the exceptional taste and rounded flavor of their creations. Wonderful Chocolate! I absolutely love this Fiji-made chocolate, it's delicious! My new fave is the Toasted Island Coconut bar, but the Island Coffee White Chocolate is yummy too! I didn't even like dark chocolate until i tried this chocolate in Fiji - it's got a lovely, rounded taste and wonderful flavour. Definitely worth trying, this is super high quality and even the packaging is beautiful. The owners are great too, i popped into their shop in Denarau and they let me taste some of the new flavours. Loved it! Big thumbs up :-)

Love their chocolate! Even their 80% cacao was delightfully creamy and I can't wait to try their 100%. The person who served me was even kind enough to drop the chocolate back at my resort to avoid it melting on my walk back! Thank you for helping me when I was looking for an umbrella during the rainy season 😊 Google Maps has a slightly different location, and the exterior looks like a factory, so you may pass by. Hard Rock Cafe is a vibrant, rock 'n' roll-themed chain known for its energetic atmosphere and menu featuring American classics like burgers. The Blue Ginger Cafe & Bar in Fiji offers a sophisticated ambiance with air conditioning and a European salon feel. While the service during happy hour was slow, the staff were friendly and the location provided a great view. The cafe serves generous portions of good food, although there were some issues with drink orders. Additionally, patrons enjoyed live music performances during their visit.
Well this one is in Fiji. So an extra star for the location and view. 5:30p just caught happy hour to get 2-4-1. But the service was slow. 15 - 20 mins before we got a server. Host ordered the beers for us when we waved him over. Those came just before 6p. I didn't order food but my friends did. Time was okay/normal for it to come out. Nachos come with lots of chives on top, not for me. Ate one from the bottom. Lots of beans I like. Fries good, hot, some crispy. I like that. Had part of a burger. I thought it was dry, then realized the condiments were on the side. My mistake. Good flavor though. Last thing. In Fiji they don't really expect tips for their services. Being American, we usually do tip. Asking a local, found out the owner takes half of their tips and uses them to pay for their Christmas Party. I think that is cheap (to keep it polite) on his part.
Terry S — Google review
We were craving burgers, and I think this is the best place for them on Denarau Island. Happy hour ends at 6pm, 2-4-1 cocktails. I had a banana berry frozen cocktail (can’t remember exact name) which was delicious. Live band was playing too, all very talented guys. Burgers were delicious, loved the spicy dip for the chips, and service was reasonably quick.

Good food, generous servings. Staff were very nice, although they had trouble with serving a Raspberry and Lemonade, we kept getting Raspberry and Coke. We were there for Happy Hour, so that was a bonus. The musicians performing that night were excellent, I could have stayed longer to enjoy their music.
Gaylene M — Google review
Just next to the marina. Great staff. Only one problem. Their happy hour from 15:00 to 18:00 ends at 17.52 because they have a "system time" that differs from official time. Although I showed the official time to the supervisor, she insisted that the happy hour is still 3 hours as it starts at 14.52 and ends at 17.52. Sorry guys. I wasn't there at 14.52 to notice and in any country only the official time matters. Fix your system time or you will get many more angry customers.

Our first meal here was a great dinner experience! Food, location and service well above the other restaurants in Port Denarau - and not overly expensive. We had the Garlic Bread and Carpaccio for starters, followed by the Savusavu Bug salad and the house rolled squid ink Seafood Pasta..... .......... F I N A L L Y we thought - a restaurant at Port Denarau that treats seafood with respect! It’s not ‘marketing-speak’ on their website - fresh quality simply prepared - delicious!& a good serving size... you won’t go away hungry. Do try the Savu Savu bug ... it’s some where between a redclaw/crayfish and Moreton bay bug in texture and flavour - perfectly prepared - Yum. Professional and friendly staff & the co-owner introduced herself at our table for an extra special touch! We came back on Sunday night - looking forward to another enjoyable meal.... sadly disappointed. ... A cold in the middle mostly gristle and sinew eye fillet, a watery something that was supposed to be a red wine jus, iceberg lettuce masquerading as ‘rocket’ , and an average spaghetti bosciaola really rounded out a forgettable meal - felt like the kitchen staff were from a completely different restaurant.... perhaps we should have stuck to seafood?.
Adrian Y — Google review
We went here on our last night in Fiji and shared the seafood platter. It's a huge amount of food for two people and you'd be better served sharing it with 3 or more. That said I thought the lobster and bugs were likely cooked from frozen and weren't the greatest quality. Service was very good and the cocktails we had were delicious and reasonably priced. It's a great spot to go as the sun is going down, but make sure you put on bug spray beforehand as the mosquitos were out in force.

Massively underrated restaurant outside the Sheraton, and good prices compared to inside the resort even when factoring in the card fee! Enjoyed a few dinners here and enjoyed everything we tasted including roast pork, multiple fish dishes and my 3 y/o loved the garlic bread!

Have been here a few times and usually the food was tasty. But today the half herb chicken i ordered was bland and tasteless. My partner had the sticky ribs and they were also lacking seasoning and flavour. The menu said slow cooked but it felt like they were boiled. The bao buns - bun itself was light and fluffy but the chicken filling was overly sweet. Dissapointing as i've been coming to Vasaqa for years and was excited to bring my partner here. On the plus side, the fries and sides were tasty - seasoned well. But the main part of the dishes - the meat - was underseasoned and lacking taste. Server was lovely, atmosphere is nice.

While it is a smaller venue than the main restaurant it is by no means lacking in food quality and service. The restaurant is clean and well-presented. The service staff (special mention to Louisa) are pleasant, accommodating and efficient. The chefs produce excellent plates of food. The prices are comparable to most other restaurants on the island, and provide great value for money. We were staying at the Club Wyndham on Resort Drive and was an easy walk to the restaurant. I believe this restaurant just opened in January 2024. We haven't been back in Denarau, Fiji since before Covid hit and we are happy to see great progress on the island. We plan to return to Fiji in 2025 and hope to visit Vasaqa Restaurant again.

Great sandwiches and a very friendly atmosphere. Got the Caveman sandwich which had roast beef and curried eggplant. Be aware card service fee is 4.5% so cash is advised, they also charged $2 for a takeaway box.

Went to Vasaqa for the first time and was very excited. I'd heard good things and was extremely hungry. The service was average, being sat for about 10 mins before being approached by a staff member (we were the only party in the restaurant). I ordered the chicken bao buns and sticky beef ribs, while my partner ordered the half herb roasted chicken. The food came out at the same time and looked Lovely. The ribs didn't seem slow cooked but boiled and werent soft and tender, the sauce didn't stick to it well. They were also under seasoned and disappointing. The sides however (fries and salad) were tasty and well seasoned. The bao bun filling was extremely sweet and I only had one of the three. My partner had the same experience with her sides being delicious while the roasted chicken was under seasoned and completely bland. I guess, come for the sides?

Best food I have had in a long time! Unbelievably quality, time and love put into these meals. Accommodated our large group and even managed to pump out the amazing drinks rapidly. Everything was created fresh, things you must try: Passion fruit fresh juice Mahi mahi and bar tenders mistake cocktails The fern leaf ‘Ota’ salad - top pick Rotisserie chicken - so juicy Short ribs We will be back before we leave!

Nestled just outside the Sheraton Fiji Resort, The Creperie Cafe is a delightful spot for lunch that caters to all tastes. With an enticing menu featuring both sweet and savory crepes, as well as sushi boards, it offers something for everyone at reasonable prices ranging from FJ$12-$15 (AUD$8-10).
Love the crepes here, you can get sweet or savoury crepes and they even have healthy options too. The coffee here is good too. Great for a quick snack that the whole family would enjoy. The service is great and the staff is always friendly. Price are very reasonable compared to the other places around.

It’s nice to visit Creperie Café for some quick meals, snacks or winding down drinks. The service is superb and you can choose healthy food—they have ready made salads and quinoa meals or some crepes with delicious mixes.

We came here after dinner at Mamacita's down the road as it looked appetizing from outside on the way through. There's a range of savoury and sweet crepes and icecream for those that don't want a large dessert. Coffee is also available. We went for the crepes and they were ok but not amazing. You could tell they used pancake mix rather than making the batter by hand. Come here for the icecream but save the crepes for when back at home.

So I ordered the "French Crepe" however, the lady making them said she didn't have spinach or cherry tomatoes. She still charged me $15.95 when it clearly says each ingredient is $4.50. Also, they don't use real cheese like blue cheese as advertised it is Kraft singles, which are broken into little pieces and scattered around.

Nice little place for a quick lunch stop... order the family special: two adults and two kids get their choice of crepe (savory or sweet) and drink (soft drink or beer) all for 45 FJD - less than $25 ! that makes it an excellent break from the resort food and prices.

Got a dirty fork twice and she just put the dirty one back to the clean ones. My crepe was way too crispy almost burned. Coffee was good

Decent selection of savoury and sweet crepes at a fair price. Also sushi for some reason, though I didn't try that.

Will remember to give this a miss next time. So slow to serve the order and when they did it was incorrect on half the dishes. If they were busy I could understand but there was no one in front of us.

Tucked away in the vibrant Port Denarau, Grills Restaurant & Bar is a must-visit for anyone seeking a relaxed dining atmosphere paired with hearty and flavorful dishes. This eatery is particularly appealing to meat lovers, boasting an impressive selection of grilled meats and seafood that tantalize the taste buds.
We had an amazing lunch at Grills Restaurant! The food was absolutely excellent — freshly prepared. Great value for money, with generous portions at reasonable prices. The staff were super friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, making the whole experience even better. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-quality food and outstanding service!

We had dinner at Grills Restaurant. There was hardly anyone there. We do not like empty restaurants because an empty restaurant signifies that no-one likes this place. But we thought to give it a try. We found the food to be delicious and the service was good. I know that food prices are going up, and the cost is picked up by the customers. Despite the price, we had a good experience. Service can be a bit faster and hot meals can be a great service too. Enjoy your meals.

Fantastic find at the port. Had the double chicken burger, ordered the double as expected the fillets to be small, but to my surprise they were large, hot and juicy! Absolutely delicious meal, very filling and just down right great value!

A Fall from Grace Grills, once a legendary spot known for its vibrant flavors and dependable service, has sadly lost its spark. My visit on May 25, 2025, was far from the experience I remembered—or hoped for. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt indifferent. Staff were visibly preoccupied—one chatting on the phone, the other lingering behind the counter. (we asked it it was open, just to be sure) There were no other customers in sight, just my mum and me. I took that as a hopeful sign: "It can't be that bad,"I thought. I was wrong. We ordered the "Party for Two" meal, only to be informed that there were no thigh pieces available. Instead, we were given extra wings as a substitute. Not ideal, but we rolled with it. Then the food arrived. To put it kindly, the flavors were off. Unusual for a peri-peri meal—lacking the familiar kick, balance, and depth Grills used to be known for. It didn’t taste fresh, nor particularly well-prepared. Disappointing doesn’t quite cover it. This visit left me wondering what happened to the Grills I used to love. Sadly, it's become a shadow of its former self.

Food was very nice for a family of 5adults. Extras were enough for our table...if you are a family like mine, recommend you take the whole chicken combo, 2 sides and 1.25l drink. Taking extra large fries, garlic bread suggested ,our 2sides were coleslaw and large fries . Grills Denarau staff were very caring and displayed great customer service. Vinaka Team Grills Denarau

Swung into the port for dinner. Grabbed a double chicken burger, extra hot. Meal came promptly nice and hot. Can agree the extra hot sauce provides the sweats, chips hot and crispy, chicken fillets were huge and juicy definitely the biggest we encountered. Easily the best meal quality wise for the incredible low price. Will definitely return again.

Feast Restaurant is a culinary gem that offers an exceptional dining experience, perfect for both breakfast and dinner. Start your day with their impressive breakfast buffet featuring a variety of egg preparations, fresh fruits like sweet papaya and pineapple, and a refreshing juice bar. You can even customize your ramen or enjoy hearty options like congee and porridge alongside delicious hot items such as bacon, sausages, sautéed vegetables, and traditional Fijian curries.

Our only parent's night out during our stay in Fiji so we chose the 3 course dinner and were delighted with our meal. Great service from Kalesi and a lovely surprise chocolate gift from the beautiful dessert chef, Vekashni. We wish Vekashni all the best with her Food & Beverage training over the next few months during the Restaurant upgrade, you'll do an awesome job with that gorgeous, welcoming smile and attention to detail.

Dined at Feast for their seafood night. There was a plethora of food options ranging from pizza to Indian to seafood (oysters, crab, mussels, fish, etc) as well as plenty of desserts. The food was average to above average across the board. Nothing that would cause one to travel miles to enjoy but certainly worth the price if at any of the resorts in the area. The Sheraton Villas, Sheraton Fiji, and Westin can all enjoy this venue (which is also open to the public as I understand). A fun part of the meal was the Fijian entertainment happening on the edge of the adjacent pool during dinner. Fire, drums, dancing, and breaking; it was a nice dinner+show!

The most amazing breakfast buffet I’ve ever had! What made it amazing? ... the staff who keep everything running seemlessly, the egg station where you can get your eggs freshly cooked however you want them, the donut, pancake, waffles or French toast station. Yum! The variety of smoothies, juices, hot and cold selection ... just yum yum yummy! Overpriced ... highly likely, but everything is e.g. bag of lollies $8fjd, Fiji chocolate 55grms $16.95fjd. Sometimes you just have to take a moment and just enjoy what’s good and breakfast seems a good place to start! 👍🏽

If you're travelling from Australia, don't bother going on "Seafood Extravaganza" night. You can get the same spread at any buffet in Melbourne. We walked in, had a look around and left. We couldn't justify the FJD119 pp for a couple prawns and mussels. We went up the road to Mamacita's for the lovo buffet at FJD 55 PP.

We paid $86 Fiji person which include the 25% government tax for a seafood night and was expect some decent food but the seafood was tasteless. I could get better sea food from a local super market back in Australia

Excellent breakfast buffet. Pricey but paid with hotel reservation. Eggs anyway you want - fried, boiled, poached, scrambled, omelette. Fruits bar, very sweet papaya & pineapples. Lots of passion fruits. Fresh juice bar - I had carrots, apples, & watermelon combo. Yogurt bar with salad & cheese board. Make your own ramen, plus already made congee & porridge. Hot bar has bacons, sausages, sautéed veggies - green beans, tomatoes, cabbages, starches (taro, cassava). Curries & chutneys. Coffee & espresso machines. Pancakes, waffles, fried donuts, fried veggie fritters. Ok, is that enough for you? We had 2 options for breakfast with our reservation, either the Feast at the Sheraton or at the Westin buffet. We chose the Feast.

Byblos 'A Taste of Lebanon' Restaurant at Radisson Blu Resort, Fiji offers a delightful experience for those looking to explore Middle Eastern cuisine. The staff are friendly and accommodating without being overbearing. The restaurant provides a nice sunset view over the ocean, adding to the overall ambiance. The menu features a variety of dishes, including options for vegetarians and vegans.
Some of the most authentic Lebanese Dishes I've had outside of Lebanon. They got the spices and tastes just right. I can recommend the vegetarian platter which could have easily fed two people. Great cocktails too and a service with a smile. I felt like I was back at the beach in Byblos. ♥️

If there was negative marking I would have given it. First of all the wait times are more than 30 mins. So be prepared. Even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. Took 45 mins for our food. We were six people. Ordered mix grill. 77$ and the food was bare minimum. Plus the presentation was useless. How can this be a close to a 5 star restaurant - with pathetic presentation. The chicken shish kebab is 15 $ with 4 to 5 prices of meat.. lamb shish was 23$!!!!! Once again useless Chicken liver was good at 21$ and the Six chicken wings were 23$ Plz avoid.. mock tail pitcher at 19$. Although the drink was just soda water plus concentrate - so not really worth it. I’d suggest avoiding all restaurants of the Denarau island resorts. Completely useless. If you can take a taxi and try the outside restaurants. But one will need a taxi for in and out unless happy to go on bus. (Takes 30 mins one way)

We ordered the largest platter and split it. There was lamb kofta, steak, chicken, shrimp, calamari, hummus, pickles, beet, French fries (or rice or baked potato) and flat bread. It was delicious! I enjoyed the lychee martini, we split the steak hummus, and also split the baklava. 100% recommend. Staff was amazingly attentive, we were sat right away, food came out in a reasonable time. Atmosphere was a highlight.
Krista W — Google review
The atmosphere here was the highlight, the lighting was great and right on the beach providing a cool breeze. I ordered the chicken skewers and the chicken breast was over cooked making the chicken tuff making the food not very nice, for the price I would expect much better. The staff was very nice and easy to communicate with however I would not come back due to the food.
Miles W — Google review
Disappointing dinner overall. The chicken was overcooked, dry, and completely tasteless. The fish portion was generous but, again, lacked any flavour — not even a hint of salt. The server did check on us several times, and when we mentioned the chicken, they kindly brought a smaller replacement dish. Unfortunately, by then I had lost my appetite, and the second dish was just as bad as the first. The food may look good in photos, but sadly, it had no flavour at all. I wan’t recommend this restaurant to anyone… also waiting was very long.
Tanvi A — Google review
The atmosphere is amazing on the water front. The service is great and the food is so good we returned again the next day. Good value for money compared with other restaurants on the island. The meat is so flavourful. Good portion sizes. I’d recommend booking in advance at dinner it’s just in peak hours

The meze and service were fantastic. A bit let down by some overcooked meat as part of the mains but would strongly recommend sticking to the vegetarian options as they are extensive and tasty.

I think the best meal so far of Fiji . The kebabs were hot and well cooked n succulent. Just the drawback that the other things in the platter were there just for name sake and some items were missing in the platter . We had to wait half hr for the table that we had booked but the staff offered a labneh dish complimentary for waiting which was sweet .

The Kitchen Grill, located near the Westin hotel and partnered with the Marriott, offers a unique beach dining experience with stunning ocean views. Despite some reports of slow service, customers have praised the friendly staff and delicious food. The restaurant is known for its photo-worthy steaks, seafood, chicken, and vegetarian meals served in a relaxed atmosphere. While some reviewers have mentioned small portion sizes and high prices, others have found the food to be delicious and the atmosphere great.
We are staying at the Westin hotel, so this is the closest restaurant to us. We saw the terrible reviews here and were cautious about going, but were too lazy to go into Nadi. The reviews here were completely wrong. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was great, and even the head chef came out to chat with us since it was quiet night. Yes the service was a little bit slow, but it is a tropical island, it is the culture. Anywhere you go in Fiji will be relaxed and slow. I definitely recommend this place, if you are staying at the Westin it is easy and enjoyable!

1- service very bad take the waiters time to come and take the order and they don’t look at the tables to see if someone needs to order. Too many staff but no efficiency. However staff are very nice and friendly. 2- chicken wings portion very poor and chicken very skiny for the price we paid $27 for 10 tiny pcs. 3- ordered a beer came literally after 15 mns and there was just 7 tables. 4- my wife ordered water melon with feta cheese cake poor with no cheese. 5- my son ordered burger $37Fj you cannot eat the meat too dry and the chips looked like it was just warmed and meet well done - I ordered sea food ceviche aphro came with decent volume but none of the seafood taste like anything no taste at all. Very disappointed will only have a beer here the sitting close to the beach is what mostly count.

We visited this place last night and we should’ve seen the writing on the wall, it was difficult and stressful enough just making the reservation. We arranged to have a kids free couples night which swiftly turned into one of the lowest grade dining experience I have had anywhere in the world. Upon ordering we quickly realised that half of the dishes were unavailable due to not having ingredients, we ordered a tomahawk steak and half an hour later were told they were still trying to work out how to defrost it.... we also had squid ink pasta which didn’t have any squid ink. The night was a comedy of errors. Cocktails were well below average. To be honest the worst part of the night was discussing our experience with the head waitress who offered no apologies and was extremely difficult to deal with to resolve the matter. If you are expecting a nice romantic sand dining experience I suggest going elsewhere, difficult to swallow that this establishment is partnered with the Marriott. Needless I say I won’t be coming back

Expensive, overrated experience - this place has the rudest staff I have ever experienced - walk around with their nose in the air, ignoring customers - took 45 minutes to even give us menus. Waitress could not understand us, No decent children's options, and have just been told 40 minutes after ordering that they have no ribs in stock. Disgusting experience

Expensive and very slow service. Steak is upwards of 100 FJD. Cocktails around 30 FJD. We waited 20 minutes for drinks, and more than 40 minutes for food to arrive. This is unacceptable for a restaurant in a five star hotel.

Tatavu Grill & Bar offers a unique dining experience that captures the spirit of Fiji through its use of water, fire, sand, and sky. The restaurant features a custom vertical grill where locally sourced ingredients are transformed into Mediterranean-inspired dishes over an open flame. Guests can enjoy a leisurely meal amidst stunning views of the sunset and ocean breeze. The atmosphere is enhanced by live music, attentive service, and complimentary treats for patrons.
We had a huge group dinner at Tatavu, and James was incredible – friendly, attentive, and completely on top of everything. Every dish we had was fantastic – the fish was a standout, and the steaks were a huge hit with the gents. We also dined here casually using the poolside menu, and the service was consistently wonderful every time. Tatavu has a relaxed but premium feel and quickly became one of our favourite spots to eat during the trip. A must-visit if you’re staying at Sheraton or nearby.

The presentation was beautiful, and the portion size was generous. The staff were warm, attentive and made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. The atmosphere is relaxed yet stylish, with a lovely view that made the whole evening feel special. Highly recommend Tatavu Grill & Bar – we’ll definitely be back!

We had such a beautiful dinner at Tatavu tonight. The restaurant atmosphere is stunning. We sat with our feet in the sand, watching the sunset and the kids running back and forth to the fire show that was on the beach nearby. My husband is gluten and dairy free due to allergies and they were able to cater for that really well. We ate the fish meal and it was so yummy and the kids had colouring and a good range of options to choose from. What made this night truely special was the amazing staff who knew we were visiting fiji for my 40th birthday. The staff sung Isa lei to us on our final night in fiji and it was the most beautiful singing, it was very moving. I will never forget it. Thank you so much to all of you for your kind hospitality. We will definitely be back next time we are in fiji. Vinaka

My party had dinner here on one of our nights during our stay. We really enjoyed the ambiance, the sandy floor and ocean breeze was lovely. We could see the beautiful sunset as we waited for our food. Our server was great and really focused on making our meal positive. As with many Fijian places, rushing is not the way, so our meal lasted over 2 hours. Everyone enjoyed their food, it was our most expensive meal but it was worth it.
Vanessa B — Google review
The food was excellent, and the beachside setting had a lovely vibe with live music playing. Unfortunately, our table was right at the entrance, which meant we couldn’t really hear the music or feel part of the atmosphere. Next time, I’d definitely ask for a table down by the beach to make the most of the experience. Overall, a beautiful spot, fantastic food and well worth visiting.

We ate dinner here one night during our stay at the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort. Our meal latest over 2 hours (service being on “Fiji Time.”). Our server was very kind, and worked hard to make our experience a positive one. The food we had was delicious - with the highlight of the meal being our desserts. This is definitely not an experience that you can rush. We enjoyed being outside - we saw a beautiful sunset and welcomed the ocean breeze. Sitting among the water and sand brought a lovely ambiance to the experience. It wasn’t by any means a cheap meal, but we all enjoyed what we ate - which is good. We were only at the Sheraton for 3 nights, so it made it easier to accept the high prices for food - especially in comparison to other places in Fiji.
Alyssa B — Google review
Food was great, atmosphere was amazing with live music, and service was impeccable! At the first dinner, as a gold member we were offered free complimentary sparkling wine at arrival and surprisingly we were again offered a complimentary dessert at the end of our dinner. Nonetheless, the quality of food was high and each dish was prepared with care. The waiters were so attentive and friendly. This is why we went back for dinner the very next night and it was as great as the first one. Being told by the floor supervisor about the perks of being the first customers, we were able to pick one of the lobsters (displayed in a glass freezer) to be prepared by the Philippine Chef who then explained how he would cook the beautiful lobster. The lobster was simply grilled and came with an amazing source, it was so fresh and delicious. We also ordered different steaks each night, they were of great quality and were cooked just how we like our steaks. On top of our mains, the entrees were also very good and the complimentary fresh baked bread was just yum! Definitely will dine at Tatavu again when we come back to Sheraton Fiji in the future.
Sunburnt A — Google review
We enjoyed several meals here during our stay at the Sheraton and every time, the staff were just beautiful. Cheerful, helpful and kind. The setting is holiday perfection, right between the main pool and the sand, the venue is just glorious. Amazing views, particularly if you're dining at sunset. The live music gives a really chilled vibe and makes for a super relaxing setting for a meal. Each time we ate here, we lounged and enjoyed for way longer than we normally would over a meal and so often not even talking, just sitting back and taking it all in. The pace of service is slow, but not annoyingly so. Was just laid back and "Fiji time" style and gave us time to enjoy our drinks, the music and the view. We enjoyed a package deal during our stay, so our lunches at Tatavu were included and I can't speak to the price of the meals. But one lunch in particular here was probably one of the best meals we had in our whole holiday. Great flavours, beautifully presented, very special. My little dude was fascinated by the kids burger on a rainbow bun too. What a treat!

I thought their meals were amazingly cooked and even though $69 per person was a little higher than I expected, it was totally worth it! Unlimited delicious soup, bread, salads and desserts! Service was brilliant and the staff looked after me after I had a bit of heatstroke after a big day :) I tried the angry bird on fire (very hot but delicious) and the lamb rack. My partner tried the teriyaki steak and loved it. I am not a dessert person but even their desserts were AMAZING.

Paid $69 FJD per person for a buffet during the cyclone. No other restaurant was open beside the Feast at Sheraton for $89. We made the wrong choice. Food were not edible. The beef with mushroom sauce was hard like a brick. One of the salads tasted spoil. Cooking shows on TV always asked the chefs if they tasted the food before serving. The chefs that get eliminated are those that either failed to taste or still served the bad food regardless. These chefs should have been fired. Even a 10 yr old kid can learn to sautés some vegetables & make it edible. They also ran out of food & the line was backed up. Yes, I understand they were working with limited resources because of the storm. No excuse to serve bad foods.

Ordered butter chicken and sweet and sour chicken. I don’t ever remember writing a review for anything in my life good or bad. But this place was so bad that I felt compelled to write a review. You would have to try really hard to have ZERO flavor in Indian food as it is inherently filled with flavorful and aromatic spices; but go to zing and you will experience this seemingly impossible feat. ZERO FLAVOR. I was sure this was the worst Indian food I have ever tasted until I tried the sweet and sour chicken. That sweet and sour chicken was so bad that it almost made me appreciate the butter chicken. Do yourself a favor, don’t eat here.

Daikoku, a renowned Japanese restaurant located in Martintar, offers more than just delectable seafood from Japan. This establishment provides an entertaining teppanyaki culinary performance that is both enjoyable and captivating to observe. Sample traditional Japanese dishes alongside Australian beef, New Zealand lamb, and Fiji seafood prepared in the teppanyaki style. It is highly recommended to make reservations in advance due to high demand.
We got the daikoku special which is sirloin steak, 2 pieces of shrimp, and lobster tail. Comes with one only steamed rice, veggies (carrot, cabbage), and miso soup. We added the teriyaki chicken, extra 5 pieces of shrimp, and mussels. Everything was delicious but the stand out was the sirloin steak. Great piece of meat and the chef knew how to cook it. Would not hesitate to back here.

In Nadi Fiji, I think this is one of good Japanese cuisine restaurants! Their fish 🐟 is fresh and soy sauce is 👍! I suggest you book the table before you decide to dinner in here, because normally it will be fully book at night. 👀

Food is solid as a rock. Ambiance is lovely. Tepanyaki chefs are skilled and charismatic. Waiters are hopeless - expect to wait 30 minutes for your first drink and 20 minutes for each subsequent drink. I advise going to the bar and asking them to give it to you to carry back to the table. The staff are nice; but Island time is the way of things. They chat amongst themselves instead of completing a one minute job and then chatting. Maybe after a week of island time it wouldn’t be infuriating? Might be my mindset that is the problem?

Went here on my last night in Fiji and this restaurant was amazing! The best meal I had in Fiji but would recommend booking.

We had a great time and the chef was very nice and entertaining. The food was.quite delicious especially the shrimp with yum yum sauce. It's Japanese cuisine done very well and the vibe is fun with guests laughing and having a good time.

Quite popular place so make sure you get your reservation a day before at least. Saturdays are super busy so you might want to talk to the ladies for an reservation ahead of time. It’s a must that you try sushi made the authentic way. And you’ll find the only freshest seafood. The experience could be a little expensive than what you’d normally get in nadi but it’s always worth a try while in nadi

Restaurant
The Beach Shack Bar & Grill is a stunning location to enjoy a morning cup of joe, indulge in a refreshing lunch with the invigorating ocean breeze, or savor an intimate sunset dinner. Their menu boasts delectable and reasonably priced dishes that cater to various tastes, including a special buffet on select days. The amiable and hospitable staff treat patrons like family, fostering an atmosphere of enjoyment.
Loved the whole vibe, and the food was amazing. Ordered the Chicken Wrap and the Chicken Parmeasean. Service was 100% with friendly staff who knew what to enjoy when asked. They had suggested the chicken parmeasean, and the food did not disappoint. The scenery was relaxing as the restaurant was located right on the beach. Hearing the waves gives us a nostalgic experience of island living, and as a kid who grew up in the islands, brought back some wonderful memories. A nice cool sea breeze made it more comfortable, especially during the hot and humid season in Nadi. I highly recommend this place 💯

Food is pretty average and so is the service. I think they need more stuff so people can get better service. Oh you have to try their lovo meat dishes. They've got buffets.

The staff is super kind, and you can't beat the "atmosphere" as it is right on the ocean. We ate her multiple times on our trip, had various food items (all delicious), and various non-alcoholic drinks (I recommend the Shirley Temple). We not only ate here, but just sat and enjoyed the ocean. It was spectacular!

Wonderful food and a great view/ambience. Unfortunately food was very slow to come out, otherwise good time. Very reasonable prices for resorts, much better than competitors. Highly recommend the chicken curry. Garlic bread could be done better.

Lovely service and nice vibe. beautiful people but food is... 👎🏼 the pizza was too needy and the cheese was very fatty Peperoni was interesting...
Tim G — Google review
We loved our visit to The Beach Shack Bar & Grill! We shared a humongous Hawaiian pizza loaded with toppings and enjoyed a perfectly tropical piña colada. The vibe is relaxed, casual and perfect for unwinding by the beach. Only downside – the cheeky little birds nearby clearly thought they owned the place and left us an unwelcome “souvenir” 🍃😂. Still, the food and atmosphere more than made up for it, and we’d happily come back for another round!

Very very good experience, loved every moments of it. Food came in perfect timing. Entrees were fantastic and mains were even better. We were welcomed with kindness and treated so amazingly. My Fijian surf and turf was spectacular and cooked to perfection. Our waitress opirah was so kind, and did a fantastic job. Would recommend to anyone staying on Denaru

Sitar Indian & Thai Restaurant in Korotogo is a fantastic place to stop for a satisfying meal. The establishment offers a wide variety of delicious dishes, ranging from tandoori chicken with fries to butter chicken. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests. Despite the wait time of around 25 minutes, customers don't mind as they can enjoy the refreshing sea breeze while waiting. The food is always freshly cooked and served in generous portions at reasonable prices.
I dined there every single day while I was there last week! I love the food that was delicious, healthy. The customer services were great. Waiting time was perfect despite how busy the restaurant was!!! The restaurant has beautiful sunset view on days were bot raining obviously!! I truly enjoyed dining there and would highly recommend to anyone seeking delicious & healthy meals!!

We went there almost everyday while we stayed in one of the resort nearby, serving mostly Indian food with some Asian dishes, burgers and fries, prices are quite reasonable. Good indoor and terrace seatings, people are nice but service could be better. Really love their freshly made Garlic Naan, the chicken satay, fried rice and Veggy Nuggets with French fries are great too etc... Recommend this restaurant in the area!

Amazing, incredible staff. Delicious, delightful food from Coconut Seafood Treasures to crab. Cook to order in Three delicious styles. And all set to excellent cocktails and drinks for you to enjoy in Fiji time. Incredible. Note, it seems half the bad reviews are because food was not spicy enough for people, but we were accommodating someone in our party, and in the end it was perfect for our American taste. 10 out of 10. beautiful place to absorb a sunset of course
L T — Google review
Very tasty fresh food available here that was both a good size and reasonably priced. With the amount of competition in this area, this was one of the standouts for value for money. Only tried the Indian here, but Thai available as well. Can be a little slow with service if busy but that is fiji time!
Andy B — Google review
Watch out with your credit card here! A real shame as our visit was actually 5 stars, food was yummy for the price and the service was pretty good. However this turned upside down when going to pay. The lady grabbed my card out of my hand and hastily tapped it on the card machine. I asked to see the card machine to see how much she‘d typed in - it was $20 more than it should be!! She fumbled to cancel the transaction and then typed the correct amount in. No sorry, no nothing. This was clearly not the first time. Be aware of how much you’re paying. There is a 4% visa fee which is totally fair. Picture‘s of lunch food which we were very happy with.

Excellent food at a reasonable price. The chicken wrap was served on an incredible nan. The Pad Thai was a little dry, but overall the pizza and Indian food were spectacular. Highly recommend this place.
Gabriel F — Google review
We dined here twice. The food overall was great. The venue does get quite busy so would recommend getting here early if you don’t have a booking. We were here on a Monday night and the restaurant was quite packed, though, they were very much understaffed - which impacts on the service. The portion sizes are on the smaller side vs the $$, though they do have authentic Indian food.
Bazz K — Google review
Customer Service was great. Food was served fast and hot meals. BBQ chicken pizza was one of the best meals served. The person serving at the table was really friendly and served food with smiles and so much care.

Shanghai Seafood House offers an extensive menu featuring authentic Chinese dishes as well as locally adopted Fijian Chinese cuisine. While it may not be the most budget-friendly option, the quality of the food makes it worth a visit. The restaurant is currently only accepting takeaway orders due to COVID-19 restrictions. Customers have praised the friendly and helpful staff, with particular admiration for the amazing cooking skills of the Fijian lady chef.
Really good quality food, i tried chili beef, stir fried pork steamed rice with soy chili. Very friendly and helpful starf. Fijian lady chef cooking skill is so amazing. All the food is perfectly cooked and vegetables are so crunchy. I really recommend this restaurant. Thank you for everything. 🙏

Visited and ordered on 26th May, 2021. Currently only taking takeaway orders due to the current COVID-19 restrictions in place. This place has a extensive menu with a lot of options from Authentic Chinese dishes to locally adopted Fijian Chinese dishes. Not one of the cheapest options in Chinese Cuisine but definitely worth a try.

Excellent food and service! The team at Sega Na Leqa Restaurant made our visit memorable, and the staff were super friendly. A special thank you to Mere for making our evening truly special. Value for money.

It's.. fine. Nice enough to sit outside. Freshly cooked, which is good, but it took 30 minutes to get served after paying with only a couple of other people there. Skin nice & crispy but batter nothing to write home about. If fried chicken is what you do, it should be bangin'. It's not bangin'. It's ok. I've given it 4 starts because it wasn't 3 star, but if I was rating out of 10 it would be 6.5.

If you're looking for no drinks service, unhelpful staff and even slower food preparation, then this is the place for you! There were 4 tables in total at the place and we waited 40 minutes for our food to arrive (couple of pieces of chicken and chips), drinks were almost self-service. The food was okay, tasty chicken although it was dry and the chips cold.
Henry P — Google review
We got the 10 piece whole chicken to go. Coating was very good. But the meat was chewy. I guess that's how fresh fried chicken is supposed to be. The sauces were fire. The fiji fire sauce is still burning my tongue. Kids liked it too. Paid $69 and it came with a 2ltr Pepsi. Comparable to KFC.
Ron M — Google review
Probably skip this one. Chicken burger way smaller than expected, it had the equivalent of one and a half chicken nuggets, and may have been just that. Taste was average. Loaded fries were just standard, bland fries with a handful of cheese. If you want a different option than the resort I’d recommend traveling to the port instead.
Adam F — Google review
Super Delicious fried chicken, crunchy and juicy! We were a table of 2...perfect for an evening meal with a beer.under the stars. We had the combo meal which was fantastic. Creamy slaw, comes with sirracha mayo, t.sauce, bbq sauce. Enough to takeaway for lunch the next day.

Some of the best fried chicken I have ever had. A definite new favorite. Great courtyard seating, with a fence so its easy for kids too.
Amy L — Google review
Disappointing is an understatement. We waited 45 minutes for our food, which didn’t even all come out at the same time. Also there was only one person ahead of us at the time. ALSO the people behind us in line received their food 5+ minutes before we got ours. The chicken was alright, but the sauces were pretty bland. The siracha mayo sauce was DISGUSTING. It straight up tasted like fish oil. The onion rings were some of the greasiest I’ve ever seen as well.I don’t know how this place has a 4 star review. Definitely the most disappointing thing of my trip in Fiji.
