Lakisa is an amazing chef 👩🏾‍🍳! She made an exciting show that included fire, throw & catch game and fast chopping 🔪! The food was extremely delicious 😋. We also ask for plum wine and sushi 🍣! Staff were friendly and I'm very happy with today's experience 😍.

Very disappointed with choice. No Rose wine. No lobster tail. Only 2 Sashimi choices (salmon & tuna). Small portions and a lot of cabbage. Not good enough for a Japanese restaurant. $FJD100 per head

Arrived Suva at 9pm and was so hungry. Fed up with hotel restaurant/cafe so we went out and looked for something more interesting. From google map the closest restaurant which ranked the highest is Daikoku (with good comments by google local guides) so we just went there. It was already 9 something when we arrived but there are still lots of people there. As mentioned by other google local guides, the staffs and chefs are local people. Of course I wouldn’t compare this with the local authentic Japanese cuisine in japan, but having Japanese food here in Fiji and food cooked by a non-Japanese, I would say, it’s excellent! We ordered two sets of Teppan Yaki and the chef cooked food in front of us. We were amazed by his skills!

Not a great place overall. I had never been to a restaurant where the food is cooked in front of you, so I was a bit excited. The atmosphere at the entrance is welcoming, though nothing special. The seating area is minimalist with good lighting, but there’s a bit of smoke in the air. It got worse once they started cooking in front of us, to the point where my eyes began to sting. I would say the food was disappointing for the price. The tempura and deep-fried prawns and fish were really good, but everything else, including stuff from the teppanyaki menu felt overpriced and underwhelming. We tried the fish, chicken, fried rice, and vegetables from the teppanyaki section, and none of them are worth recommending.

We loved the cucumber sushi, yaitoki and tempura :) but didn't like the fried ice cream. But worth going!

A great place for family and friends to catch up. Staff and friendly and skilled. Clean and just exceptional!!!

We arrived late, not knowing when they closed, but they were very accommodating and we're able to seat us. I'm so grateful they did! It was a hot busy day in Suva, but these guys pulled through. The food was delicious, and the server was very helpful in making some solid recommendations.

On a recent trip to Fiji, I had the pleasure of trying an amazing Indian Chicken Fried Rice. It was absolutely delicious – the first bite brought back a flood of wonderful memories! It was my first time at this particular restaurant, and I'm so glad I chose it for my first Indian meal. The staff was incredibly friendly and the service was very fast. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I can't wait to try more of their dishes on my next visit! 😉

We hiked to this restaurant from our hotel led by the only South Asian in the group. She ordered for us after considering our requests. The result is a spread of dishes where we could dip our buttered Naan in. We thoroughly loved our food and enjoyed the meal.

Really enjoyed my meal at Maya Dhaba! I went here based off Google maps and it did not disappointed! Food was absolutely amazing and, as a foreigner visiting, it was great to have some local cuisine! Tasted amazing. My only issue was I asked for a coke however they didn't have in cans, so came with ice and given location I didnt feel comfortable drinking the water. I would recommend offering people a can. Great experience!

It was my first time to experience the menu of Maya Dhaba. From the entering till the leaving the experience was beyond my expectations. The food was authentic Indian and felt like I was back home being feb my me ma. Thank you the staff at Maya Dhaba for a fabulous meal.

Absolutely phenomenal! Can easily say that this was one of the best meals I've had ever! Hidden in an unassuming location the food here is just 👌 We ordered the Fiji salad, kokoda, lobster salad, garlic lobster and crab pasta and each dish was wonderfully balanced and such a great experience for the palate! Highly rate this place and will definitely go back if we are ever in Suva again!

We were very excited to try this upscale fijian restaurant. The servers were excellent. They took very good care of us without being disruptive. Well done! The octopus was cooked perfectly. They did not have kokoda, unfortunately. But they did have fern salad, which was delicious. The crab ravioli was tasty, but $50 for five pieces is a bit too pricey. The lobster was good but not the best I've had this trip. For the same amount of money, we felt that Tikos had almost twice the amount of lobster. The cassava chips were excellent! And the wine list was very good.

All of our food was delicious, we had the Fiji salad, the lobster and whole mahi-mahi. The lobster was my favourite, but the Fiji salad was also delicious. They made the lobster exactly to our specifications – they asked how much chilli we wanted, and it was perfect. Service was also very good, very polite and attentive. The venue is very nice too.

Celebrated my birthday here with the family. They confirmed our booking via viber and also let us pre order. The food was delicious and the staff (Buna and others) were absolutely amazing. So friendly and welcoming. 10/10 recommend.

Eden is known for it’s authentic Fijian food. It is one of the few places in Suva that has mouth watering food that will make you fall in love with Fiji. Located outside the main city center, the restaurant is away from the toots and horns of Suva. Staff are amazing and very friendly. Highly recommended.

Food was bit costly but tasty and marvelous atmosphere . We went for company party. Overall nice and great experience

Drive into Suva from Nadi. Since my hotel room was not ready, I decided to grab a late lunch. About six minutes walk from the hotel which was well worth it. I ordered goat biryani and chicken kabobs with a cup of chai and pineapple juice. Everything was great, expect for the spiciness of the food. It was my mistake of not pointing it out to the wait staff. Overall experience was great! Staff was attentive and on point.

I recommend this place for authentic Indian cuisine. Just 5mins. walk from our hotel and it's in the heart of Suva City. I liked the ambience as well. The building looks like it was from the 1920's era and loved the fact that it was well-maintained to keep that heritage look to it.

one of the best indian restaurants i’ve been to!! we go there quite regularly, not just for the food but also because the ladies that work there are so lovely and very professional!! live their garlic naan, the dhal makhani but also the chicken buna and chicken butter masala are to die for! another added value is that you can sit outside 😊

Located in Suva city. Earlier food was good but this time weekday, we haven’t got good Indian food test. Starters was good testy but main course disappointed 😞 But inside atmosphere is good .

Located in the city center, it's quite convenient. Restaurant overall is quite nice with ample seating arrangements. Can choose between sitting inside or on the balcony. Food was nice, a bit expensive but quite good. Had the goat curry with butter nan. Also had paneer. Definitely recommend the restaurant for special occasions or a dine out.

I wasn't too impressed with my first Indian food experience in Fiji. The Samosa Chat was good as well as the lassi. The tandoori chicken was a nice portion for the price, but I was surprised by how much flavor it lacked. The chicken tikka masala was very salty, almost to the point where it was overpowering the rest of the flavors. The food was priced well but I overall wasn't impressed. Certainly not the best Indian food I've had.

We reached the restaurant at 9.30pm and they conveniently offered to take our order even though they close at 10pm. They waited for us to finish our meal before closing the shop. The menu is well set and has alot of options for all especially vegetarians. Food was well cooked and exceeded our expectations.

Wow, we had one of our best Indish we had so far. We tried the, samosas, samosa chat (loaded samosas, awesome! See picture) tikka masala and bagare beigan (this was new to us and recommended from the service - awesome!) We were here twice, because it was so good.

Really well advised by the team, we spent a really good time there. We dont eat spicy and the chef did a really good job on our meals. Thank you for your delicious meals.

Great food, staff and environment. Really good to come in here for aircond on a hot day. Due to the nice environment i expected a higher price range. However their price is very friendly. Food is as expected. Feedback to the staff that the juice would be better without sweetener, or ask the customer if that is wanted during order time. Staff has been great. They checked if everything is all good white we were having the lunch. Keep up the good work.

Update: Having tried more places in Suva, there are better choices for the price (which has risen in 2023). Revising rating accordingly. This is our current go-to place for curry. We’re fans of the Butter Chicken and Lamb Rogan Josh. We do find every dish we’ve had a bit too salty for our tastes though.

Located on Cakobau Road, Suva, Fiji 🇫🇯. We had a nice night here. We had a selection of Pizza’s that we shared as a group. The only one I didn’t like was funnily enough, the garlic prawn one. For some reason, I didn’t like this pizza because prawns are one of my favourite foods. I loved the BBQ pizza, that was my favourite. The atmosphere was great and music was good but definitely way too loud making it hard to talk to each other. The prices were very expensive I felt but we had a lovely time here. I can see why it seems to be popular, especially with tourists

They say you can never have both good food and a view. Well this place is exception ! The two local eggplant dishes we sampled were Michelin star ! And watching locals practice footy in the park was a joy ! We were lucky enough to see the national team practice ! Thank you for creating such a memorable travel experience !

Is an excellent for a date, as the staffs and the food are pretty good. Also, the music was top notch.

We have been here a couple of times. The staff are great and so is the music. But they don't seem to get there timing right with the orders. The pizzas always seen to be warm or just about cold. Last time we were there I saw our Pizzas come out of the oven and after 5 minutes I asked the waiter where are our pizzas. We got them 5 minutes later and they were warm. The Calzone and the pizza are great but it seems they don't know how to take it from the oven and straight to the table. Friends of ours that went there a week earlier actually sent all there pizzas back because they were cold. And it's pretty expensive for what you get.

Great setting with good live music. Unfortunately of the three meals ordered, one was out of stock, one was delivered wrong and the other had to go back as it was cold. On the right day, looked like it would have been nice.

There are not enough stars in the world for this place! $8.50 for vege curry, dhal soup, and three roti. $1.30 for a lovely samosa on the side. Beautiful.

Singh’s curry house Visit to Singh’s Curry House in Suva town 7pm, corner of Gordon street in Victoria Parade. 1. Heater was turned off. Food was out cold and was microwaved before serving. 2. Eftpos is not available, going out in town for cash withdrawal. Make sure to carry cash. 3. Air conditioning was turned off. It was stuffy and hot. 4. Coke beverage wasn’t available.

I had this place on my list for quiet sometime now and honestly my expectations weren’t met. Though the food was great, there was just too much flies on the table which annoyed me a lot. It’s a nice garden surrounded sitting but a little more attention to keep the flies away would’ve been nice. Not really friendly in swiping bacon to chicken in their option, rather they’ll ask you to choose a chicken menu😒 Overall I enjoyed the food and company but I don’t think I would come back as the flies set me right off!

I visited this place back in May. I forgot what I ate but I remember it being pretty good. What really impressed me though was the bats. From where we were seated we could see them out in the trees flying back and forth and shrieking away. That just made my day. I had seen similar ones at the Sigatoka Sand Dunes and they are just incredible. Im all in for bats after this trip. I'm from Canada and our bats only come out at night, so you rarely see them. Once in a while you find a dead one and they're only mouse size, so not really all that impressive although they eat mosquitoes so there's that. There was also a class trip for local Fijian kids at the museum right next to the Cafe and they sang some really beautiful choral tunes which added greatly to the pleasant atmosphere. Service was ok.

This cafe is surrounded by a tranquil and beautiful park. With plenty of seating, it’s a great spot to sit and relax to while you grab a bite or drink. The staff seemed friendly, the food was okay, with a decent selection of good menu options, and their hot chai latte’s were a standout.

Great setting in the gardens and very friendly atmosphere from the staff. The vege omelet is great. Visited a few times in our week in Suva, would definitely recommend.

The only Chinese restaurant open on Sunday and the most authentic one compared to other ones nearby. The Chinese Beef Noodle was quite good with plenty of Mala in the soup but meat could have been more tender.

Food was fresh, and very well prepared. Make sure you ask for fresh chilies in soy sauce, it’s so hot but oh so good. Staff was wonderful, kind and thoughtful. Restaurant decor wasn’t much to be desired but I don’t really care about that, the place smelled strongly of cleaning solution which negated the meal experience a bit (the only reason I took off a star).

One of the best joints for authentic Chinese especially seafood. The price is high but makes it up by the delish food. The place looks tired and old.. needs an update desperately..chairs are loose... the tables are unbalanced.

Great place to have meals. Serving size is massive which is great. A small serve can easily cater for 2 people easily. Prices are reasonable for the serving size. Menu has a number of dishes to choose from and waiting time isn't too long either. Food tastes great. Definitely recommend it to anyone who's after some good food to try out here.

A small Chinese restaurant on the main street. We arrived at 2pm Thursday and not many customers there. The services was quick and dishes turn up effectively to feed our empty stomachs.

Highly Recommended. Meals is freshly cooked and one of the best in Suva. Prices are higher compared to other places though the quality of service is noteworthy. 👌👌

Tried this restaurant after visiting the market in Nadi. While my elder son enjoyed the fish and lamb curry, my younger son wasn't too fond of the butter chicken, because it wasn’t like a butter chicken he would often eat in New Zealand. My husband ordered a Fijian dish and enjoyed eating taro and food with coconut cream. In comparison to other neighborhood shops, it is slightly pricey. Both locals and tourists were eating there.

Quick stop for a take out lunch. Ordered chicken and lamb pulao. Quick service and decent portion size. Not sure but feels like a quick stop for their regular patrons. Will consider visiting again in the near future.

Great tasting food. Freshly cooked meal, healthy food with no oil drips. The samosa is best from the menu. As you can I got mine. Place for both vegetarian and non vegetarian. Taste just like home. If you need curry in a hurry, this is the best place I can suggest.

Decent Lunch place, interior seating gets cramped during busy days.

Being particular about eating curry and hygiene, i am happy to report that i had no problems here....The food is fantastic. So glad a local person suggested this place to me after being literally robbed at Holiday Inn (44$ for curry and roti!!!!) They are open til 6pm, but if you need a late(r) evening curry, try Dolphin - they open to 9pm.

Incredible coffee. Stayed in the rooms upstairs and came every morning for coffee. The guys that work here are super friendly and helpful getting a taxi or helping with bags whatever it is. The b&b is also lovely. Spacious clean rooms with daily housekeeping. Very comfortable beds. The food is pretty good. I only tried the vegetarian wrap which was a healthy nice choice but not the most delicious.

The coffee and Vietnamese vegetable spring rolls were fantastic. The new layout in the seating area indoors left me yearning for the comfy couches and warmth that used to be there instead. On a positive note, the hospitality has remained great. I especially liked the handwritten affirmation on the tissue. Will be returning and would recommend.

I would say the food was pretty good. The staff service was excellent with them being out and about for any service needed. The atmosphere is a little bit noisy, but then we were sitting outside. It must be different if sat inside.

Great coffee and food during the day, was really nice to work from here. At night time, the kava bowls and live music comes out - totally different vibe and love them both!

Had a Chicken Pie and Coffee. Pie was probably home made but not with much flavors. I had to wait 15 minutes for a cappuccino and some change money. As I was in a hurry, that was annoying. "Fiji Time" I know but the Rugby match do start anyway. Coffee was good and served in a nice mug. Probably lack of staff that day but that why service was lacking on expectations. Place has good atmosphere in the evening, I have seen.

Vinaka Leslie and the team at Mana for running a fantastic cafe! We throughly enjoyed your cafe and Airbnb stay. Highly recommend this place as a coffee chat hangout, do some work and even have a bowl of Kava at their kava bar. Wide assortment of coffees and food. The Airbnb upstairs was also excellent with parking, AC and laundry machines. Will come again.

Had an Iced Chocolate as it was recommended by a friend. It was good but nothing special. The view from the balcony was good, though could use renovation. Great place to have a drink and feel some breeze though.

Lazy Beans is situated at the 2nd floor of Jack's. Service is great and you can seat at the balcony to see the busy street below. It's a cafe so they don't offer hot meals, but more of pies as well as sandwiches. Try out their butter chicken pie!

Outdoor seating only that's adjourning a day club. F&B is average, expect luke warm coffees.

My favorite restaurant for vegetarian food truly offers a taste of home. Their gravy paneer is absolutely delicious—I could eat it every day! From my personal experience, all their dishes are not only incredibly tasty but also very affordable compared to other places.

Dishes that we had: mexican chicken pizza, herby vegetarian pizza, margherita pizza, basil creamy pasta. All of the pizzas were good. It was pizza Tuesday so we got to get two extra free margherita pizza. but I don’t know why the kitchen decided to put basil before they cook the pizza so all the basil on top of them were shrunk and burnt. I think it would look and taste better when you put fresh basil after baking the pizza. Pasta on the other hand was really good. Loved the way the noodle was cooked and the sauce as well but little too much oil. Service was good. From the entrance, the security man was very nice and gentle. Even when we were leaving, he was very nice. Server was frequently checking upon us which we appreciated very much. She first started a small talk with us of asking us where we were from and when we said Korea, she immediately said something insulting about North Korea when we are from South. So we corrected her that we are from South and her information is about North Korea. It was okay if she could stop from there but, I don’t know why she was keep giggling and laughing at us while serving (from the beginning till the end of the service) which we’d really like to doubt. Me and my friends felt very offensive but we wanted to believe she was laughing at something else. Maybe her friend was there so she was laughing and giggling because after she served our food, she was eyeing on us to another customer who was sitting beside us and giggling at the same time. Smiling is always nice but giggling and laughing while serving the customers can be offensive and make customers feel very uncomfortable at the same time. We didn’t want to make it as a big deal but I saw the QR code on the cashier desk, asking for our review and decided to leave this quite unpleasant experience so that the team can improve on the service. But I’d like to also mention that we did not have any issues like this before and we loved your kind service when we visited several times before. Appreciate the hard work from other servers very much and sincerely apologize for leaving this quite negative review only because of one particular server but I thought this should be informed to the team. Thanks to the chef, the security and the staff at the counter who served us very nicely to night. I hope the team can train that server and better the customer service since we’ve never had any issues with other servers before.

We tried the mini madras lamb burger which was good but I feel the mayo did not go well with it. Tamarind or mint chutney would have been better. The chocolate mousse was yummy.

Food is delicious and I adore the ambience but they really need to train their staff on the specifics of their menu and ensure any menu changes are told to customers. The fish and chips on the menu simply said batter fried. When it came out it was clearly beer batter and the staff seemed completely lost when asked about it. I had to go in to ask the chef myself and was casually informed the recipe had changed but they hadn't updated the menu. We'd asked for health reasons. This could have been a complete disaster if it had gone unnoticed by us. No chef or restauranteur worth supporting would ever let that happen. But I'll leave a higher rating than deserved because the food happens to be delicious, if you're willing to risk dying for it. Update: This incident happened about 6 or 7 months ago now and I haven't been back. But the owner's response to this review seems to be positive and I can certainly appreciate how well they took the feedback. I'll have to drop in again soon to see for myself before I change the review but I have hope.

I would like to take the time out to give this place a big thumbs up 👍🏽 and recommend you to visit them if you are in Suva city. It’s not always you love the quality and quantity of food in restaurants and this particular place wins it all. The platters are massive and the price is unbeatable. It a rainy Saturday and perfect place for a lunch date with the girls. We enjoyed the vibe and the music, the staff were incredibly attentive to us. Compliments to the chef for an Islander approved platter. 1000% recommended. Do visit them for lunch or afternoon drinks🎉💯

Food is delicious and usually served on time. The music and decor also gives it a nice vibe. However the service and bathrooms could use a lot of work. On two occasions, I’ve been served by cashiers who don’t know what it means to “split the bill”. On another occasion the cashier incorrectly charged my bill to another customer. This caused a lot of unnecessary confusion and delays. Such a terrible way to end a lovely night, not once, not twice but three times.

A good place to go and have a quite beer or meal. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Try the Uppercut beers brewed by the company. I liked the larger. Nice setting, comfortable, AC'd, clean. Food here is nice too.

I had a late lunch here around 4pm on Sunday (or I guess you can say early dinner). The food was fantastic. Authentic, delicious Vietnamese. Service was fantastic. The place is clean and well lit. Parking was not an issue at all. There’s a lift or stairs, so easily accessible. We had the spring roll salad, the crispy chicken and rice, caramelised chicken and chicken fried rice. We ordered lemon juices and ice lemon tea (without ice). Literally everything was delicious and the portions are good - we were very very full at the end of our meal. We didn’t have room for dessert! We will definitely be going back to try more from the menu.

I've waited over 20 years for a Vietnamese restaurant to come to Fiji. The food is outrageously delicious and fresh. The pho broth is as good as the best around the globe. Highly recommend the chicken pho and the spring rolls. Definitely a must if you're in Suva!

A lovely dining experience! The service was welcoming and efficient. The food was fresh, fragrant, and heartwarming, and the servings were extremely generous. The standouts for me were the laksa and the salt and pepper tofu! Absolutely divine. Actually, it was all divine!! We will be back.

McDonald's Laucala, has a very moldy smell. Floors are greasy. Interior is in need of a good upkeep. Always missing something or another on the menue. Staff need more training on customer service. A few do an exceptionally great job despite the high end business and late shift.

After waiting approx. 1 hour in drive-thru queue, our order came to us incomplete. We checked the food when we got hme. We later returned to give feedback but there was no empathy,no apology and no Duty of care by Duty Manager. The food was so blend. It lacked spices and seasoning. Bad experience.

Having a bite here was family friendly, maybe it's the locals or the employees or even the atmosphere... my baby had a tinny slip which nearly ruined our dinner but the quick attention and help really calmed the situation

I like the one in Laucala (opposite USP)...got nice parking and close to shopping mall ( Damoda City, Cost-U-Less, Sports City etc.) Usually come for a quick meal and read their local newspapers. The availability of seats depends on the day and hour you visit- peaks hours like after-work, weekends and public holidays are usually top this period. Otherwise, it's fairly moderate. Food is depending on your preference. As a meat lover it's definitely the Big Mac for me - it's even better than their Quarter Ponder, or would go for Mac Chicken. The customer service is pretty standard for eat-in as well as the Drive Thru but on a odd day do expect the unexpected. Same goes for meal standard. Just adding on, their Ice Coffee is so good 👍 😋 I only wish it's either cheaper or comes in a bigger cup 😉😁. Update- 23.03.2024: Ordered Ice Tea with lemon. It was good except there was too much ice so diluted the Tea and lemon taste abit towards the end of the drink. Otherwise, it's good for a hot day 👍 Vinaka 🙂👍

Drive thru means readied orders at pick up window which in this case we found the window 3 attendant still talking to another staff and then as we stopped she looked started preparing the drinks .... Not long but also not what we expect!

Low quality and quantity of food for the price. I mean just look at my sad Big Mac, only a few cm thick! Go to Sun Fryer instead, soooo much better. Or Burger King. Staff are friendly enough here but they always mess up something in my order.

We ordered some Lemon Chicken with rice. And some traditional Indian bread. We found meal with just delicious. Not too spicey. The staff was also helpful and understanding our needs. Not having our meal nut too spicey.

Food was great as always. However, I had an unusual service experience today that I’ve never encountered before. We ordered the Potato 65 as a starter, but our mains were served first. When I asked about the starter, a staff member told us we should have informed them if we wanted it as a starter — which we actually did when placing the order. It was also listed under the appetizer section on the menu, so we naturally expected it to be served before the mains. The staff member also remarked that “other customers usually tell us if they want it as a starter,” which felt a little unfair, especially since we had already mentioned this. I understand that she wasn’t the one who originally took our order and that there may have been some miscommunication. But rather than offering a straightforward apology or checking politely, she seemed to shift the blame to her colleague and repeatedly asked if we still wanted the dish, which was quite confusing. The tone felt more like a lecture than assistance, and that left me feeling uncomfortable — almost as if we were being treated differently. I mentioned this to the manager, but he responded with a quick “yea yea yea, we’re sorry about that,” which came across as dismissive. I would like to believe that he already knew the full context and was simply acknowledging the situation with an immediate apology — but I honestly felt a bit brushed off. I might not visit here as frequent as other regular customers, but I’ve always enjoyed the food and had great experiences here, which is why this incident stood out. I’ve always found the manager and frontline staff friendly and welcoming, and this is the first time I’ve had such an unpleasant experience after many visits over the years. That said, I truly appreciate the kitchen team and all the hard work behind the scenes. This feedback comes from a place of respect and care — I’m not trying to shame anyone, but just wanted to share what happened in hopes that future experiences can be even better.

Swaqat is currently the gold standard of Indian Cuisine. I've tried all major Indian Cuisines to know enough where my gold rating belongs. 2024 and 2025 and they consistently deliver!

Very high quality restaurant with modern look. Food was quite nice. Tried their chicken, lamb, fish curries with rice and nan. Customer service was great as well. Price was a bit high but it is matched by their quality of food and service.

I believe this restaurant is a chain, but it was so good. We ended up ordering an appetizer and three entrees, for two of us. So many vegetarian options and they were all amazing. The mushroom appetizer is something that we still talk about post-vacay.

Mediocre food quality and taste. The Kolhapuri Chicken we ordered was anything but Kolhapuri Chicken. The Chicken Biryani was atrocious. The initial presentation was impressive but as we served ourselves it was just Basmati rice tossed in Chicken Curry! The pictures will tell the entire story. We wanted really spicy and hot food but it wasn't to our expectations. Asked for some green chillies and were charged $2 for them as well. The staff was welcoming and cheerful though not well trained. The men's restroom was smelly and the hand dryer was way too high. Short men and children would find using it very difficult.

I previously had their ice cream (which was absolutely delish) Went here last week with 3 friends. We got: Appetizers- eggplant something (don’t remember the full name) Mains- Ravioli, Risotto (best out of all- it was so warm and comforting) and the Parmigiana Pizza Desserts- Tiramisu, mascarpone gelato, cheesecake, crème brûlée (loved this so much)! Everything we had was either vegan/ vegetarian and it was delicious. Drinks- I forgot the names, but the staff were amazing in recommending drinks The staff were excellent and extremely friendly. They recommended stuff on the menu, kept checking in with us and were super pleasant !!

The BEST food and service we have received in the 5 months we have lived here. The food was so tasty & beautifully presented. Our waitress was lovely - attentive but not intrusive. Would recommend to everyone!

This place is great. Been here dozens of times now. The owner and the chef are very nice. The chef even gave us a ride home one night when it was raining. Great food and wonderful staff. They have specials with Wagyu steaks that are excellent. They recently added pizzas which the kids love. Lasagna is great. Pastas are good. The steak sandwich is nice for lunch. Deserts and gelato are yummy to top it off. Highly recommend.

We were given the recommendation from one of our friends and I agree it did not disappoint. We just had ice cream and it was one of the best ice creams we had. And plus it had its unique tastes like Ferrero rocher and hazelnut ice cream. It was stupendous. Would recommend this to all of you.

Excellent food on offer, all gelato and ice cream made onsite. A range of italian wines. Creme brulee to die for.

Rudy’s definitely delivers on 95% of their dishes with some fresh, innovative choices for Suva diners. The Staff are charming and friendly, homemade sourdough and dried tomato tapenade starter was excellent and the Vivaldi music playing was a classy choice. The beef strips special, risotto and pasta with fish looks lovely. And then came my vegetarian lasagne. Sadly for a deceptively iconic dish, it was visually limp, burnt and slightly underwhelming after the presentation of the other dishes. Not to worry, sometime you just pick the wrong dish on the night. The Black Forrest cake dessert was fine and the coffee is excellent . (If you’re looking for a conversation evening the acoustics are not in your favour). We moved outside for dessert and coffee which was very pleasant . Great bathrooms!

First of all, the welcoming was great, very kindly staff. But when we talk about eating, here’s come the problem… I ordered carbonara and it was not that tasty and the plate was quiet small. I ask for some more cheese and without telling us, they charge it 11 DOLLARS for like a spoon of it. For the dessert, the tiramisu was close to liquid, unfortunately Maybe we were not lucky on that night but I felt disappointing…

This was honestly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Nothing about it tasted remotely Chinese, everything was bland and off and served cold. To make matters worse, there was a cockroach crawling up the ceiling while we were eating. Some of the staff were polite and friendly, but others were downright rude, especially the girl working at the bar, who clearly didn’t want to be there and made bad faces when asked for a jug of water. Overall, a really disappointing experience. I wouldn’t ever come here again or recommend it to anyone.

Very old but still holds a lot of memories of us born here in Suva. The menu is okay as usual. Not a top end restaurant but one though that I will regularly visit because of nostalgic ambiance.

Good place to gather, we just recently booked it for our dinner with our former colleagues from work. We have our own space and the food is good with excellent staff

I will never ever recommend this place to anyone no there was no air-conditioning in the heat, after 20 years still no upgrades, drinks and food came out an hour late. The stir fry beef was mostly bones. Most of the dishes were full of colourings and flavouring and everyone got food poisoning.

It's one of those places with a history to many years back. I remember visiting it since primary school days (3 decades ago). I find the food standard is quite average and the place used to be better (higher standard) than nowadays. The buffet lunch is reasonal but depending on ones appetite. The lack of parking spaces do become a bit repellent unless you want to walk further distance.

Had an event tonight for a friend and they were fantastic. Great food (take away available but the packs are 50c), drinks and well maybe it was because we had a really good crowd but the place contributed to it all as well so yeah. Kudos to the owners!

A week in Suva, Fiji and I was desperate. Went in, ordered a cappuccino, 2 sugars(no judgement pls) and an add shot of espresso. They delivered. Went there just about everyday to fill my Starbucks addiction. Great coffee, atmosphere and desserts (my son).

Moments Cafe has a cozy atmosphere that makes it a relaxing spot to take a break from shopping. The coffee is smooth and well made, and the cakes and pastries taste fresh. The staff are friendly, although the service can feel a little slow when the cafe gets busy. Prices are reasonable for the quality you get. Overall, Moments Cafe is a nice place to enjoy a quick treat or catch up with a friend.

Great experience + service! We ordered tea, gluten-free short bread cookies, and kumquat pie. The short-bread cookies were pretty good and I'm not the biggest GF fan. The kumquat pie had just the right amount of tartness. The ambience was pleasant and they offered a number of other food and pastry items. You could stop in for a bite or a drink and sit around with others and enjoy a conversation. And the service was speedy and the employees were very friendly. If you're in the area, I'd recommend dropping by for the cafe experience!

Moments Cafe is located opposite Ganilau House and Village 6 in Central Suva. Its a short walk away from the wharf and the busy Suva market. It does not offer parking but is more of a "drop by, sit and quick eat" sort of place. The ambience is nice, it has a slightly elegant feel about the place but lacks some energy. Its a nice place to have a decent pie or cake and hot drink. The Tea is served in a pot with a stand and a small flame to keep it warm. That's a nice touch, as the tea is kept hot no matter how long your cuppa takes. The hot meals are OK. Tried the T-bone steak with mushroom sauce and fries. Meat was slightly chewy so you may need to ask them to soften it up abit for you if you're not too used to it. I suspect it was reheated as it didn't come out piping hot. They don't serve wine or beer at the moment so meals are had with some other beverage....juice, smoothies, coffee or tea. If you're not too choosey with your meals, this would be a good starting point, but not very high on my list for a place for dinner, may be better for breakfast and light lunch.

The Moments is quaint little place. The staff are nice and most things are yummy. This time, I ordered a Lasagna and given one of my nicknames of Garfield, you can imagine I'm somewhat of a wannabe expert in the subject of Lasagna's and in my opinion, it wasn't nice. I've always enjoyed my meals here so maybe its a one off thing

Love the vibe at Moments Café! Their iced coffee is easily one of the best in Suva, the service is always warm, and the menu never disappoints. Perfect place to unwind.

The coffee is amazing and the build your own sandwiches is fun to do. My sandwich doesnt look appetizing, my fault, but it tastes SOOOO GOOD!! My wife had hot chocolate and cheese cake and recommend it to people.

Amazing Experience at Suva Coffee Hub! OMG!! This place is absolutely amazing! From the moment you walk in, the staff welcome you with a warm Bula smile, and when you leave, they send you off with another big Smile such a lovely touch! Special mention to Talei (Floor Attendant), she was everything! She truly defines excellent customer service. Talei was incredibly helpful, constantly checking in to ensure I was okay. Her friendly nature made my visit even more enjoyable. Now, let’s talk about the food....wow! I first tried their Greek Burger, and OMG, it was delicious! And today, I had the Chicken Wrap, and let me tell you, it was the BEST chicken wrap I have ever tasted in my entire life. Overall, I absolutely love this place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Today we were here for burgers 🍔 which were delicious. Serving sizes were generous. The girls loved their meals and the chocolate Victoria 🍰 too. We were served by S Talei who was very attentive and made the girls feel right at home.

Excellent place for dates and family meals. This was a very very great place to take my wife or/and family for eating as they prepare the meal worth the price. The staff was very nice. They made a mistake in taking the order as one of the items was out of stock, and they were very nice to come back to us and explain.

Was quite a bad experience. Firstly, When we arrived, the door was locked, had a sign stating for customers to wait to be seated and so we did. After a minute or so another family came and the staff opened the door and served them (Coffee hub doesn't take booking). Not sure if its because of our race? At least the customer after us saw what happened, went right in and spoke to a staff to serve us since she was getting takeaway. Otherwise, I don't think we wouldve been served or gotten a seat. Secondly, we ordered the same food as others but noticed that they were being served with food first. We got there 30 minutes before them. Even that customer seemed impressed that their food came right away. Thirdly, I ordered smashed avocado and waited for almost 1hr for it. Not worth the wait. Their Nadi branch is way better.

Café Noir was a complete letdown on all fronts. I ordered the pasta, and it was absolutely horrible—bland, tasteless, and outright disgusting. It was one of the worst dishes I’ve ever been served, and I couldn’t even finish it. For a place that seems to market itself as a quality café, this was beyond disappointing. The iced coffee wasn’t much better. It was mediocre at best—watery, flavorless, and unimpressive. To make matters worse, it was served in a broken glass, which is not just careless but also dangerous. How can a café not check something so basic? It’s shocking and shows a complete lack of care for customers. On top of the bad food and drink, the café itself is not suitable for sitting and getting work done. None of the tables have power points, which makes it incredibly inconvenient for people who want to work on their laptops or charge their devices. In this day and age, a café should cater to professionals and students who need a functional workspace, and this one clearly does not. Overall, the entire experience was a disaster—bad food, unsafe drinkware, and an environment that doesn’t support basic needs like charging devices. I won’t be coming back, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Been to the Cafe twice so far. They have a great deal on Tuesday’s where you buy 1 pizza of any topping and get a magherita pizza free. Got the veg herby pizza, not the greatest as the Magherita tatsed better. Also had Iced Chocolate and a freakshake. From the both, the freakshake would be a better option as it has additional toppings and both taste about the same. The staffs were friendly and helpful and the time taken for food to arrive was pretty quick. Great place to do your work if needed and has a quiet atmosphere. Love the quotes on their wall, which are usually light hearted and brings life to the place. The prices are as you would expect for a Suva based cafe, so it’s reasonable.

Pizza was as hard as concrete and when we informed staff they offered to give us chicken wings but ended up serving us BURNING HOT chicken wings that we couldn’t even eat. Like beyond hot. Lady at cashier was nice though.

I love this little space that bad dog has created. It’s screams out French. Even though it’s by the road noise isn’t a problem. The foods great and affordable. They have signature drinks which gives an amazing point to the restaurant!

My wife suggested we come for lunch after enjoying the sandwiches. Panini was good and the Mexican Chicken Pizza was excellent. Friendly and attentive service too. Will be back. Update: The lady at the register has resigned and the new staff just don’t offer the same kinda service.

The ambience was very quiet and peaceful to have a nice conversation. The lighting was good to take photos as well. But the drink i ordered - chocolate freakshake @ $13.95 - was too expensive for its taste. Taktes like chocolate ice cream with coholate syrup, whipped cream and a brownie, I think I have sugar rush from drinking this...🤯

We had excellent dishes fried fishes, veggie soup and garlic chicken . The environment is fully air conditioning with organised tables and the drinks. .The amount of food was incredible and fit for a group of 3-4 prople. The staff were very friendly and the location was excellent. The price was very reasonable. Better have a try here.

No way anyone is falling for this scam. I am personally Chinese and they have none of the traditional dishes. The crab was not fresh and everything else was either under or over seasoned.

Peking is a good place to come with family and friends. It is a good place for large groups or in a small as per your need. The food is good and not expensive. Alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks are sold alike. Vegetarian options are available. Appetizers and desserts are also a part of the menu. Peking restaurant has friendly staff too.

The food is delicious and some menus come with rice , very worth it. The waitress so helpfull and friendly.

Tried the mushroom chicken, beef chow mein and chilli garlic pork. Good sized serves for the chicken and beef, but very small for the pork. Chicken was nice, beef was tough and pork was average. Probably be back for the mushroom chicken and rice. Overall, I found our meals average.

It's not a bad spot and the service is friendly. It wasn't busy when we went there and the restaurant is nice. Samosas were tasty and so was the lassi. Curry had a bit too strong of the tomato flavor for my liking. The dips were bland, all 3. Overall it wasn't bad and fairly priced.

Food is great, especially the pizzas. Tried Biriyani and Chilli chicken as well. Best to go for the Indian dishes only since that is their speciality. Plenty sitting arrangements available with both indoor (air conditioned) and outdoor breeze.

Food's good, location is great, service is commendable. And yet I won't be returning because they don't accept payment with a card... In 2025. Who even carries cash anymore? But if you're willing to take the cash with you it's definitely worth a try.

Loved the vegetarian pad Thai, butter chicken and mawabi tandoori chicken. Very comfortable with friendly service. Love the added slices of ginger to the rice! We've been here three times now and may return before we head home from our trip here. Highly recommend while you're visiting Suva!

Living overseas, I've craved their traditional dishes since opening! On our recent trip, our close family friends treated us to The Bar Belle - every mouthful was a flashback to our youthful days growing up in our beautiful Fiji 🇫🇯 ❤️ a must try when in Suva! We'll definitely be back!

Wowowowow! This has to be the best quality for value meal I've had in Suva! Great kokoda. Best rourou I've had (I don't think I liked rourou that much before). The crispy fish that came with it could not have been better. Crispy prawn was delicious from head to tail. I loved that they provided calamansi. My friend said it was the best octopus she's ever had. I thought it was good. Unfortunately, theyd already crossed out the gold platter when we got there. I'm not sure if people ordered ahead because almost an hour later some people were still receiving their glorious gold platters. Fern salad was not the best. Cassava would have been better as chips and not just boiled (?). I was really hoping to try their lobster but they were not offering any. We were very full but had to have the coconut pie and it was very creamy and delicious. Service was terrific! It's too bad they are only open for lunch.

My grandma requested we go here for lunch, as she enjoys her seafood and knew that the Bar Belle would deliver fresh, tasty options. We had the pan-fried sabutu (Pacific yellowtail emperor) - comes with sides of miti (coconut cream), fish broth, usually Fijian greens (but we requested battered eggplant), and cassava - and a serve of Kokoda - fish (in this case, Yellowfin tuna) cured in lemon juice and served with miti and diced onion, etc. I'd been once 4 years ago on my last trip home, and both times found the food to be incredibly well-cooked and perfectly seasoned. The staff was lovely and service was quick, so I'll be sure to take my grandma again the next time I visit Suva!

My crave for Fish and Chips Satisfied. Great quality. Worth your money. The vibe is great. Always full so you might want to call them before coming in so you don’t get disappointed if you want to eat in. I recommend them 100%. The best part they are so accessible to the main road so bus and taxi service is available all the time.

Bar Belle is certainly located at a beautiful place - in between of a gym and overlooking the Maritime Fiji which is just off the Nasese SeaWall (close to USP of Laucala Beach side)...definitely feel the Seabreeze. The Roofing iron shelter needs immediate attention to include a layer of heat-reflector because 12-2pm (during my visitation) was horrifically hot on a sunny day. Must agree that the service is above standard. Firstly, they allow bookings which saves a lot of hassles. Secondly, the approachable staffs deserves our respect - from taking your order to serving and gathering the plates afterwards; they are certainly well trained. Lastly, I thought the food portion was justifiable for that price but quality wise is hard from a first timer like myself - my associates felt it was worthy it so I guess it's worth for more future visits here. The Bar Belle restaurant is nestled between two sheds of the Rabuka Gym. The restaurant was recommended to us by a friend of the family. My wife who is Suva-born was hankering for authentic Fijian food. We visited twice; first was for take away dinner and the second for brunch before our trip across to Nadi. What did we have? Fish & Chips, Meaty Beef Bone Soup with lashings of dalo, cassava and kind of spinach. Kokoda, kai, Waiti Platter (pan-fried whole fish served with greens, miti, fish soup and cassava), Jumbo Platter (consisting of kai, kokoda, rourou, crispy veggies and cassava). Don't forget to order the fresh-made kumquat and guava juice. Best order the jug because a glass isn't enough!!! The kitchen staff are efficient and the food quality speaks volumes. The wait staff are friendly and accommodating. Bar Belle should be one of your ports of call when you're in Suva. We're definitely coming back !!!

Fantastic Fijian food options as well as others for those who want something more international. We had both the seafood platter and the ika plate. This is the first time I've had cawaki (sea urchin) and Yaga (type of shellfish) in a very long time. Definitely worth a visit

Once you’ve found this treasure in Suva you’ll drop in again and again. Conveniently located in the ANZ stadium car park (just through the gate near the ATM machine), it’s easy to park and the open Bure with spaced tables make it definitely a plus during Covid waves. Friendly Staff who carefully checked vaccination cards on your first visit . We ordered breakfast , both meat and vegetarian, lattes and kumquat juice. Everything was great, prices were reasonable and even the fussy egg person next to me was happy. Looking forward to trying a lunch menu ! Bravo !

Lovely little restaurant that's not 10min from the CBD. My cousin took me along as she knows I love live music, and I thoroughly enjoyed the stylings of the trio who play there Thu-Sat. The food was delicious and came out quickly, and the staff delivered the much-hailed Fijian hospitality, even offering to hold my nephew while my cousin and I tucked into our beautifully prepared meals. Definitely a place to visit if you like being serenaded in a chill atmosphere.

Arrived late so food I had planned to have not available but offered something which I enjoyed and it was good plus service by the friendly staff was welcoming and next time will try to be there earlier!

The combination Punjabi tea is our fav. The veg samosa was very feeling and one of our absolute fav is the Potato 65! For dinner it wasn’t very crowded but I do recommend making a reservation beforehand because they usually do get very busy. The space is great for small as well as larger get togethers. I am happy that we could request for our tea and Samosa to be served prior to the other foods we ordered. The staff are friendly and nice.

I recently visited Rajdhani and had an absolutely delightful experience. The atmosphere was perfect, offering a clean and inviting environment that made for a comfortable dining experience. The food was truly exceptional. I tried the chef’s special meal, and it was both tasty and flavorful. Each dish was prepared with great attention to detail, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was appealing. The overall ambiance of the restaurant added to the enjoyment of the meal. The staff were attentive and courteous, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly. I genuinely love this place and would gladly visit again. If you’re looking for delicious, well-prepared Indian cuisine in a pleasant setting, Rajdhani is definitely worth a visit.

We came for an extremely late lunch (at around 4pm on a Friday). The restaurant was literally empty however the waitresses we extremely polite and quickly made us feel welcome. We ordered soon after and the food arrived in good time. Food quality and flavor was excellent. Great experience overall and we were happy to have had such a pleasant lunch!

Okay, I don’t want to sound dramatic but this is possibly the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten. I ate here yesterday with my friend and it was so good we came back again today. I’m thinking about coming back tomorrow again. This needs to be in the Michelin guide for Suva. 6 stars.

Casual set up in a fully AC rm w friendly staff & fast service. It's a small restaurant and it's clean. Food was delicious w authentic Indian curries👍 At night - there's a nightspot across the street so do expect the occasional crowd & loud music. Great place otherwise.

Good food. Good atmosphere. Prices were a little cheaper than in the US but what was amazing was the big Mac. In America, the meat patties are tiny, but at this McDonald's in Suva, they were HUGE! I mean like quarter pounder size! I was amazed. Good job McDonald's! I wish they'd do that back home. I also wish they would have refillable drinks, but I assume it's an American thing..

I heard a lot experienced it today , coffee order taken promised to bring to my table waited 20 mins nothing upon enquiring i was given a cold coffee, there so many staff there but productivity less than 50%, i wont even give you guys any star, laucala bay meccas improve service and get some decent staff

Why is your drive through so slow and only one attending servicing both booths and they look exhausted last week i saw one of those attendees sitting on the floor at the pickup area cause she was so tired from working both booths come on mc's we wait in line at 8.30 mornings for atleast an hour and there's only 4 cars ahead fix it cause you loosing customers and burger king drive thru is very fast vinaka

Says it's open 24 hours but they close at midnight. No apology whatsoever for falsely advertising their opening hours and the effort to get here. Meat is overcooked (dry), fries almost never fresh. The restaurant is always filthy - they don't keep up to the standards for the franchise.

OK as McDs go. Very limited menu. Always makes me laugh you can get fried chicken at MCD in Suva. Food is pretty similar, but it's not slow.

They took forever to serve the food and they for got to put the lid on my drink and it fell everywhere and the food was so bad dont recommended to go here

This McDonald's is open all the time, so it saved me a couple of times especially during the holidays. Service is quick and no-nonsense. Aside from their usual 2-piece hot & spicy chicken, try the chicken aioli wrap for a change.

2.5 stars. Only thing that saved it for us was the perfectly cooked meat. Starters were super bland and sadly DRY our chicken in the dumplings were dry dry and dry. The lobster bisque had tonnes of flavors but no meat chunk and the texture was all wrong bisque is meant to be creamy and have bits of meat on it ...and colored usually soft orange.. but this was almost grey like brown. The mains were calamari which was bland BLAND BLAND and was overly acidic and barely had any seasoning to cover for that. The fish was PERFECTLY cooked and seasoned but i didnt think it went well with sweet potatoe and the choysum was slightly undercooked. Happy to always try new food and a veriety of dishes and pay for it, just wish it lived up to the hype. Pros: Locations good Good menu Friendly staff Amazing ambience Pretty docor Mains have a good quantity Has good potential! Cons: NOT as great as hyped Pricey for its quality of food and service BLAND! Seasoning needed more details and thought to balance out flavors Textures also need attention (the dryness of dumpling filling, bisque texture and choysum cook time) Super busy staff due to the limitation of staff and service thus was delayed

The ambiance is too good .. it’s great to watch down the history of the place and the pictures as well .. It’s a place for relaxation .. Very less option for ppl who are vegetarian .. if your sea food lover this is the prefect place to be with .. One of the restaurants to try when I’m Suva Fiji

Very delicous meal. We had the omelette and full stack of mixed berry pancakes. Yummy! It kept us full all day. And the mocha was perfect.

The ambience of this cafe/restaurant is still extrodinary - museum themed and vintage. They've done the renovation during the covid19 lockdown and increased the numbers of tables in and out - I would say before was better. The food on the other hand, is still yummy! I tried today's special menu - penne cream pasta with leg ham and mushrooms. There were so many ham and mushrooms! Loved it. My friend had the italian fried chicken - cant remember the name... It tasted just like chicken fried with pizza sauce on top. I'm not sure if it's supposed to taste like this but it tasted cheap - the kind where I would be able to make at home (i am not a good cook) Lastly, the beverages. 1. Mixed berry smoothie - ☆☆☆ 2. Kumquat juice - ☆☆☆ 3. Coffe - I have so much to say. They used fully roasted beans. It tasted like cigarettes. It was really not my taste but I think for people who enjoy STRONG coffee would love this place - nowhere else in Suva uses this kind of coffee beans!

Had very high expectations, which were not met. Professional servers but only 1 waiter during peak Lunch hour... i had to hold my hand up like i was back in school to get some service... maybe we ordered all wrong, but nothing impressive, at all. Soup of the day: Lobster Bisque- flavours were standard, texture was gritty. Chicken & Prawn Pot Stickers (dumplings)- fine ground chicken with not a single lick of Prawn (not even colour), tiny thin dumpling which was incredibly dry and overcooked. (Trust a Chinese to know dumplings) luckily, the waiter order us the starter instead of the main, because it was inedible. Mains- Calamari and Ota (local fresh fern) Salad, and Grilled Mahimahi, char-grilled greens and 'local French fries' which was sweet potato wedges. The one consistent factor is how Monotonous the flavours were. Calamari Salad- (nice fresh Ota), was acidic, just acidic, would have benefited from some sweetness. But no relief. Mahimahi (was very well cooked! But...) this and the moist char-grilled greens were plated on top of the 'fries'. Highly aesthetic but then you only get soggy fries. The sauce had capers which, i expected would help add dimension to the flavours, but these were bland as well! One bite of either of dish is nice, but after eating bite after bite of the same thing, acidic calamari, acidic ota, bland fish, bland choisum (again trust a Chinese to know choisum), soggy fries, not even the fancy Himalayan Pink salt would help. Only ate half of the nicely sized main but even then i was pushing myself (us Locals loathe wastage, so we got the rest takeaway to see if we could redeem the sacrifice of the ingredients at home). Left a little after 2 and we were locked in, settled our bill but no one bothered telling is or helping open the gate, had to unlock, and shut the gate behind us. Nice ambience and decor, would recommend if you're easily impressed.

Went to dinner with a group of close friends. Very good food, beautiful presentation and reasonable prices had live band playing which was great too.

I love grabbing coffees but especially going in for Saturday brunch! The atmosphere at the restaurant is very calming and the staff have an amazing customer service.

Onyx was great. The crowd for a Friday night was just right. Music was a mix. Drink prices, well they are what they so we really can't do much. Facilities are very clean and wait staff are good.

Nice place but the staff just took money off our hand and didn't even bring back the change until we asked for it. The music is also too loud and due to that the order was placed wrong and when we asked the staff to refund us for what we haven't had, they refused saying its already has been put through the till. Didn't make sense to me why they were not able to refund the money, there should always be a refund option for errors like this. And don't just blame the customers for your mistakes 🙄

Very nice and entertaining place. I visited from the United States and found this place to be up to standard. Every one was real cool from the bouncers to the bartender to the DJ. Music was excellent. Crowd was fantastic. Keep up the great job guys

The tiled floors are a FOOSH hazard . Wear flats if unsure how much you'll drink . 🤣 Good customer service . Music ? Repeated songs throughout the night is not a good sign. Try some island music. And Be warned of the $5 charge if you break a glass .

Many changes have taken place over the years, if you want to chill and hang out. Go upstairs where there is always a live band on Thur, fri, and sat. Not to mention it has a great atmosphere to unwind, a great advice I’d give is always check their Facebook page for specials on drinks and food.

Onyx is a Must-see when in Suva. It has a great selection of alcohol as well as cocktails as well as beer and wine. The music is great and be sure to catch live performances from local talents like Inside Out and The Gang.

A good option if you find yourself in Nabua (they also have food delivery). The place is clean and air-conditioned with friendly staff. We placed our lunch order and waited in the upstairs dining area to be called to collect our food once it was ready. The wait was not long. The fried chicken was delicious. The staff were happy to replace one piece of my fried chicken which was slightly undercooked. I received my recooked piece of chicken as well as a free piece of chicken thigh which was unexpected but appreciated.

Where to even start. Had given a simple order of chicken loaded fries & chicken strips and chips with 2 canned Coke to the waitress (Note, she didn't even write the order nor memorized it). Within 3 mins of placing order the same girl approached saying no canned drinks and only bottled 600ml drinks. Gladly changed to a 600ml sprite and repeated the order back to her. 3rd, the lady from the cashier approached us asking to repeat the order again, this is now the 3rd time yet no one is even recording what the order is. She goes back to the till and creates the bill. The first order gets served which was Chicken Strips and fries by the male waiter. Following that 3 mins later another serve of the same is placed infront of us, we had to call out the same waitress, as this was not a loaded fries and she takes back the order while rolling her eyes and walks to the cashier. Now while eating the first meal, what really disgusted me was the approach of the male waiter, where he pulls the chair from the table where we are seated and sits with us to reconfirm the order AGAIN. Who and Why would a Restaurant Staff do this?? Is it a norm for the staff to sit in with the customers on the same table and that too Unwelcomed? This was now the 4th time where we had to repeat our order (bruh it was so simple) and the Waiter made us feel we stupid saying the waitress had just brought the Loaded fries, which clearly wasn't. Where he then approached the cashier and blurted in Fijian saying the customer's are stupid and not sure of the food they ordering (Mind you I clearly understand Fijian and even Speak). For the 5th damn time the Manager (Indian Lady) walks up to us and confirms the order where we had asked for the menu book to show the whole staff what was really a simple order but they denied to give nor at this stage we were handed even a receipt. Well finally she did confirm our order and corrected the staff however giving us excuses that the staff were new here (isn't the very basics taught to staff?). I must comment though the loaded fries was a total disaster. Honestly, this has to be my worst experience at this restaurant. Please do not ever sit with the customers on the same table - it's too rude and disrespectful (unless you are invited to share the table) also train your staff for note-taking on the orders, saves the damn hassle.

Came at lunch time ordered Fisherman's barker and chicken chowmein. They have a sitting area on the top floor and the attendant serviced us with a smile and was fast since it wasn't busy. Presentation was good and good tasted really good too.

The worst Indian restaurant in Suva. Food isn't Indian at all. Overly priced for very little and not tasty at all. We ordered kebabs and chicken tandoori. Totally tasteless. Atmosphere was nice Ill be honest. But we go for food not for the atmosphere. If you're looking for the best Indian food go to Swagat at flagstaff plaza or Yellow Chilli in city, moderately priced and wonderdul Indian food.

It is truly truly sad having to give this review because I have given this place so many chances and I keep coming back hoping that this stage would be better or this next dish may be better but I have come to the conclusion that this place is by far the worst depiction of Indian cuisine in Fiji. I am so sorry because I understand that stuff was very hard here and the staff is not the problem the problem is the recipe that is used to cook these dishes. To start of each and every one of these dishes have a base taste of mustard oil running through it all and it finishes off super excessively rich making you feel nauseous and overwhelmed with too much spice. It is highly important to find the balance when it comes to preparing Indian dishes especially because not every Spice Is Good spice, neither does a lot mean a lot better. Like I said it breaks my heart to give this review because I honestly really wanted this place to be good because it's super close to my house and very easy for me to drop by and get Indian food if I wanted but if you are looking for good quality genuinely tasty Indian food this is not the place for you. The half star that I did give his only because of the very hard-working staff and the Beautiful ambience that is created by the place. The prices understandably are high for the menu items because it is costly to make good quality rich dishes however when you compare the price to the quality and taste worth, it does not match up in any way. They do offer amazing food in their attached maxican restraunt though. Ask for the maxican menu if u can! U wont regret it.

Paneer is very hard and doesn't have good taste. Avoid having paneer dishes here. They make same type of Naan for all the variants present in their menu. They need to improve on this. Recommended dishes: potato 65, moong dal samosa, mushroom starter, veg biryani, dal maharani, bhel puri

It was actually really good. I was actually looking for a vegetarian restaurant and I stumbled into this restaurant. To my surprise the menu was all vegetarian as obviously the name suggests. It was empty when I went, ordered my food, waited 10mins and it was ready. It was actually very delicious and would recommend this place to try yourself out if you are looking for vegetarian dishes or even a place for veg date.

The BEST vegetarian restaurant in Suva!!! A small cozy restaurant is located on Flagstaff St. The atmosphere is welcoming. The menu selection is diverse enough to accommodate any plate. Recommending the Cream Mushroom with Truffle oil Sparghetti!! Love it!!

I’m not normally a fan of purely vegetarian cuisine, but these people can cook! Easily the best pizza we’ve had in Fiji. Other dishes are also good. The one drawback is it’s a bit pricey. Would give 4.5 stars if I could.

A real gem - a great little family owned & run restaurant quietly making some fantastic food. Try a mix of their small dishes, great for sharing. The pizzas are way better than any other I've had in Suva as well.

Visiting from Australia: this place is welcoming, friendly staff, great ambience with relaxing piano music and spacious seats. I had the cashew chicken which had quality ingredients - alot of vegetables, pieces of chicken and a great taste.

I actually visited this place for the second time now. I loved my first visit but the recent one got me a little annoyed. I love their deep fried wontons but the food was flavorless. I feel like the sauce did not good to my chili lamb and it lacked some pepper and salt. Also my stir fry chicken felt off cause I feel like the chef forgot to put salt. Well if I was closer I would come back for a refund but I was already on my way towards Lami. They are inconvenient because they take ONLY CASH, in a era of cashless transactions my dude!!! My second experience was upsetting but do try their deep fried wonton. It’s amazing.

Came to this place numerous times , everytime has been good until today , we ordered numerous things out of which one of them was lamb stir fry with combination of chowmein and they gave rice instead of chowmein and when we said we ordered chowmein they ignored us the whole time and served everyone else except for us , and when we encountered the staff they said we can't do anything about it you have to eat the rice , pathetic behavior displayed by the chef consistently refusing to get us out correct order , extremely reluctant and unprofessional

First of all, horrible placement of the store. They almost never have Beef burgers or even Onion rings! Had to get their chicken burgers a few times and they taste mehhh. when I asked for a Hawaiian burger or Sriracha burger, the cashier would tell me it was a promotional item and that it's not available now. Mind you the items were listed ON THE MENU, right in front of my eyes. Overall, disappointing.

Bula team at Howell Pizza, Thank you for our BBQ chicken pizza. It was yummy with a few improvements needed. The crust/dough was nice and thin. However, was a bit tough and chewy. Would be great to have a crispy crust option or is there one already? The bbq sauce was nice and had a lovely Smokey kick to it, but the sweetness was little overpowering which took over the BBQ taste. Decent chicken and cheese toppings. It's bring fond memories. I still remember the former owner's children were my school friend. It used to be smaller but the current owner has expanded expanded it and it's much more spacious. Food choice is always a easy pick - got to be the combination soup. The menu and food standard are similar to previous owner, which is a good move - to preserve the customers appetite. No doubt, it's still one of many people's favorite meal spot.

A little hole-in-the-wall restaurant that would be considered a hidden gem in terms of Chinese cuisine. The most popular dish would have to be their combination short and long soups. Another treat to note is their special Chilli sauce that comes with every meal. I personally make it a point to dine here at least once a week so that should encourage you to do so as well.

Tried the beef stew, fried beef and red beef wontons. The beef stew was extremely salty and possibly the worst Chinese meal I’ve had in Fiji. The wonton soup and fried beef were both also below average. Can’t recommend this place.

Well priced thali. Typical Gujarati style cooking without excessive oil. Spiced moderately. Had choice of 2 subji. Loved it all except roti. Half cooked pre made and chewy. Samosa did not look that great. Very simple atmosphere. I would go back. Love the fact it’s totally vegetarian!!

Excellent experience to enjoy delicious Samosas with Chutney and Milk tea with spices! The Passion Fruit Natural Ice Cream that I tried, was awesome! The most impressive facet of this Hare Krishna Vegetarian Restaurant is that it is managed and run by ladies, a great example of Women’s Economic Empowerment! It was inspiring to have a conversation with Nandimukhi ji, who has been managing the restaurant. Profits from the restaurant are also donated to the Temple. I wish them all the very best and encourage readers in Suva to visit the restaurant!

I don't know why this restaurant isn't busier, the food is reliably good and it is yummy. I used to meet a friend here regularly as it was near her office. We used to eat upstairs and would often be the only ones in the restaurant.

It's a nice experience here.. The food is really good - flavourful and you feel the textures of every but of it; the beef etc. The hand-pulled noodles is just at another level in Suva comparing to other noodle places as this is the most AUTHENTIC noodles you can taste around - not only its fresh but the texture was on point - soft and thin enough not to chew too long. The soup was just as good as it gets due to the strong STOCK so gives the additional savory flavourful that hits the tastebud. The plain rice was so soft it almost melts in your mouth - its definitely a customer driver when you have good rice. Great customer service - so efficient with the two girls serving. But it took a little longer to receive the soup as it was lunch hour, so expect the unexpected.. Worth the penny here. Vinaka !!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Tikos Seafood Restaurant! Great atmosphere, making it the perfect setting for a relaxing meal. The service was equally impressive, with the staff being attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our visit. Highly recommend it.

Absolutely incredible no complaints. The service was impeccable will definitely go again lovely place for a peaceful evening food was great. The boat slightly rocks while you’re eating which makes sense but it was a fun lil surprise 🤭

It is actually a restaurant on a boat, tied to the shore but still floating on the water. Felt dizzy for a while because it was a bit shaky (obviously) but it took only a couple of minutes for my brain to aling itself with it. The overall ambience was nice with some live reggae music. The staff was polite and knew what they were doing. Not so impressed with the starters but main course was absolutely phenomenal. Didn't try the deserts so can't comment on that. They open at 6 in the evening till 10 and only take orders till 8:30. Overall a good experience. Will I go there again if I visit Suva? Most likely, yes

Tikos had the best mud crab we had on our Fiji trip. We got the mud crab and mahi-mahi, as well as a starter. With the free salad bar it was so much food and we were stuffed. Service was nice and we had a really great evening.

It's always a good experience here in Tikos! Food is delicious, although expect it to be on the pricier side. I particularly love ordering their surf and turf. The restaurant's ambiance is extremely unique here in Suva. Of course, since you're on a boat, expect a bit of rocking, especially when the winds and waves pick up. I would recommend this restaurant for visitors and for residents during special occasions. Call first to reserve a table.

I’ve Ben here 4 times now and I’ve enjoyed myself every time I come. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. I’m not really into fish or sea food, but Tiko’s is a definite exception. Not to mention their salad bar, top stuff. Thank you

I ordered the Surf and Sand and immediately regretted not just getting the grilled fish by itself. The grilled lobster was overcooked and really tough to chew and cut. The grilled snapper on the other hand was absolutely delicious. I also had the Tropical Fruit Punch mocktail which was very bland and barely sweet. My friend had the steak and said that it was very tough and hard to chew. The salad bar however had a variety of options and everything there was delicious. All in all, I highly recommend the grilled fish and avoiding anything other than seafood here. Despite the disappointing food, the staff were very kind and the atmosphere was wonderful. Tiko’s, however, is definitely a one time experience for me.

This was the 2nd time I came here. The first time here was totally awesome. Loved the fish, fried chicken, fries and tartar sauce. Today was alright. I'd give a 9 out of 10 for the fish. However the chicken was dry. A bit disappointing. Ordered a super pack of $18.50. Menu consists of fries, 8 pieces of fish and 2 pieces of chicken but got a good serve of fries here and about 10 pieces of fish and 3 huge drumsticks. 👍👌 Also bought a dinner pack ($28) of 20 pieces of fish and 2 kilos of fries. There was more than 20 pieces of fish but little less than a kilo of fries (should have been 2 kilos). Amazing tartar sauce. And you get lemon slices. I recommend getting a jug of sprite with crushed ice ($4.95) whenever getting fish and chips. It's the best!

Pleasant restaurant, calm and clean, with a wide range of fish and other dishes. Good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Prices reasonable. Extremely helpful staff. Quick service and food preparation.

Very clean and lively environment. Great place to take the family to or meet-up for Lunch. Quality food which also comes with a good price. Not forgetting the great service. 👌👍

It's a lovely place for lunch or dinner. My favourite is steak and egg...and side it with messed potatoes (an extra $2). The price is reasonable so worth the experience.

Really loved this place. The atmosphere is great. The food and the drinks are also very delicious. This restaurant has a very welcoming staff with great service. This is a very good place to go dine with your loved ones or even just enjoy couple of drinks with work mates and friends.

Food was excellent, central location, however located on 1st floor with a steep set of stairs. Server was not friendly, and it felt like they didn't want to be there. Food took a long time to come out.

While the servers were polite, they often seemed disengaged, almost as if they were in their own separate worlds. A refresher in customer service training might help improve attentiveness and overall guest experience. Compared to a few years ago, the level of service has noticeably declined

Waited pretty long for food to be served. Food is fine. When paying they overcharged (i always calculate the total beforehand).

My favorite dishes at this place has to be the Sichuan whole fish. Their wonton soup and eggs with prawns (foo young) are also recommended. Friendly staff in a clean air conditioned environment

Slightly on the more expesive range, however food is worth it. They have a huge range of seafood dishes and poultry and meat. Good service.

I would say as a Chinese person the dishes are quite authentic. Generous serving size and reasonable price highly recommend.

They offer Lamb sausage pizza, but what you really get is just cheap lamb emulsion sausage from the supermarket instead of ground lamb meat that is spiced. The chicken pizza is chicken luncheon and than they charge premium rates on the pizza. Lazy, poor quality work and massively over priced.

New York Pizza Kitchen serves tasty pizzas with generous toppings, and the slices are quite filling. The service is usually quick, which makes it a convenient stop while shopping. Service might be a bit slow during peak hours. The only downside is that the pizzas are a bit pricey compared to other options in the food court. Even so, it is a satisfying choice if you are craving pizza at TappooCity.

We went to the Lautoka Tappoo's restaurant for lunch. I don't think the owners of New York Pizza Kitchen have ever been to New York and had pizza. For a pizza that was wafer thin. I'm not sure how they could make it so doughy. The Quattro fromaggi that we ordered was barely cheesy. The top was cooked ok but the bottom was under done. The sauce had no taste and the cheese was flavourless. We also ordered Pesto pasta. Not sure how you can call noodle with olive oil and sprinkles of something green, pesto, but they did. The entire meal was sadly lacking and underwhelming. The price for the large pizza was $59.95 and the pesto was $23.95. The staff were pleasant, but never checked on us to see if we needed anything. Definitely not worth the money and not worth a recommendation or return.

Ordered take out. Received the wrong order. Called for correct order. They said they will deliver it. Should take 20 minutes. Received correct order after 2 hours. By that time already had lost appetite. Taste was ok. Not the best. Price was ridiculous for a personal pizza. Totally not worth waiting for. $25 pizza was literally size of 2 slices of bread put together. Appreciate the effort to deliver even though it took a while. Not sure if this will be a go to anymore.

Expensive for no reason, posted a $10 off coupon with no mention that you’d need to buy something from tappoo to get the voucher. The prices are also outrageous and the taste does not match. On the bright side, the service was good, I’d say the food was delivered in a timely manner, staff were also attentive. Definitely won’t be returning because $50 for a medium sized pizza that tastes so basic is not worth it.

This used to be my favorite pizzeria however not been a fan of it since past 4 years now. Consistently disappointed with quality and price. This year I visited lautoka one and the base was really bad. The bafalo pizza doesn't taste the same as what we used to have before and same goes for Tandoori paneer. Now I just blindly go to sunny pizza. Hope they can work on quality since the price hike was way more then the inflation 😑😑😑😑 Atleast do something about the quality 🙏 But the lautoka customer service is perfect really smiley and helpful waiters

Great pizza shop inside Tappoo Shopping Center. Upon arrival the restaurant was clean and welcomed by friendly staff. Seated quickly and drinks and food orders taken in a timely manner. The menu has a lot of options and a great variety for everyone. Meals were fresh and tasty. Great quality food and service. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Seoul Restaurant gives you just a taste of what Korean BBQ is all about. But there are not many varieties of meat. Also with hot food. When I got there most meat were taken and had to wait till they restock the meat. Also with hot food. Once it’s finish you will have to wait quite a while till they cook. But keeping in mind you have a timeframe. I do hope they can improve more.

We visited after Fiji reopened. It’s on the top floor of Southern Cross Hotel. Very nice food and authentic Korean food. We ordered 2 types of beef to try on BBQ. Very delicious and to have it together some small dishes like kimchi and pickles. We also ordered bibimbap - rice with meat and vegetables cooked in a hot stone bowl. Yummy 😋

Came in for my veggie and protein fix. Beef was super shredded and processed, flavour was basic. Soup was basic with bean sprouts and not even spicy, I had to ask for salt. Nappa kimchi had dish detergent taste. scallion pancake was just doughy, sprouts were seasoned. I was the only table not given water and had to ask at the end of my meal dispute ordering two entrees for one person. Service was “polite” but not warm. I’m a solo asian diner with American accent and there was more grace to the “white” guests.

Wow, excellent food, wonderful service! Authentic meals served in an original setting, beware the extra stair to the loo though, the only downfall.. we will definitely be back! gamsahamnida! Vinaka vakalevu, Sota tale!

The best place to experience korean food in Fiji. It was just all too delicious. We had Dolsot bibimbap (hot stone pot bibimbap), Mul-naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles), sundubu-jjigae (soft tofu stew), Yukgaejang (beef soup), Dwaeji-bulgogi (stir-fried pork bulgogi), assorted savory pancakes (modun jeon), Deep fried-chicken in hot pepper sauce (kkanpunggi) and many side dishes. The staff provided friendly service which was well appreciated. All photos were taken by my friend Anna 💕
