North Indian restaurant
Nestled on the first floor of Rokeby Manor, Emily's Mussoorie exudes an old-world charm with its Alpine chalet-like ambiance and intricate stone walls. The restaurant offers a delightful culinary journey with a vast spread of Indian and continental dishes, including favorites like chicken stroganoff and shepherds pie.
This place is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, the ambiance hits you—it’s just next level. We opted for takeaway butter chicken for dinner, and let me tell you, it was absolutely finger-licking good! While there, we had some soup of the day and coffee, soaking in the vibes before we had to leave. I’d love to visit Mussoorie again, not just for the views but to relive the experience at Emily’s & stay there at Rokeby Manor as well. If you’re in Mussoorie, this place is a must visit

One of the most standard meals I have had. We were 12 of us so ordered almost everything on the menu. Everything was above average to excellent. Very nice place

Emily’s by Rokeby Manor is a true hidden gem in Landour, offering not just delicious food but an unforgettable experience. The cozy, vintage-style interiors exude warmth, but the real magic happens when you dine outside. Sitting in the open, surrounded by the cool mountain breeze and breathtaking views of coniferous tree-covered hills, is simply mesmerizing. The food complements the ambiance perfectly—freshly prepared, flavorful, and comforting. Whether it’s their hearty breakfast, signature pies, or warm soups, every bite feels like a treat in the crisp mountain air. The service is just as warm and welcoming, making the experience even more special.

Amazing old world colonial charm manor. Their food is good, I tried the Bombay Masala Pizza which was good. Sticky Toffee Pudding is wow! The staff is super friendly. The place is really nice for a cosy lunch or a dinner.
Priyansh G — Google review
A stunning property and the food is absolutely sublime. Haven't had such wonderful food in a LONG time. Add the amazing old school ambience with impeccable service and this was not just a meal it is an experience. Definitely staying at Rockby the next time we're in Landour.

The charm of eating here was amazing. The roast lamb, the polenta cake, the skillet cookie dessert... We were in food heaven.. and service was exceptional thanks to Sudhakar.. thank you for our memorable lunch.

Bakery
Cafe
Nestled in the serene neighborhood of Landour, Landour Bakehouse is a charming old-time café and bakery that evokes nostalgia with its colonial features and stunning surroundings. The bakery offers a delightful array of pastries, cakes, and breads crafted from traditional recipes. Guests can savor their hot beverages on the veranda while taking in the breathtaking views of Doon Valley.
I visited Landour Bakehouse with my brother, and it was such a peaceful little escape. The weather was cool and cloudy — perfect for sitting inside and soaking in the cozy, ole vibe of the place. I ordered a hot chocolate and honestly, it was amazing. Rich, and just the right amount of sweet — exactly what you’d want on a chilly day in the hills. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and overall a really comforting experience. Definitely worth a visit if you're around Landour.
Asad S — Google review
It’s a famous landmark in Landour, but that really doesn’t do justice to the food they serve. Honestly, one of the best bakeries I’ve been to. The quality of food was excellent. It was overpriced but it is expected at such a remote location. The bakehouse is quite busy so you might have to wait outside. The banana Coco chip cake was amazing and so was the muffin.
Aniket — Google review
Charming café with vintage vibes! Great coffee, fresh bakes, and stunning mountain views — a must-visit in Landour. Lovely little spot tucked away in Landour! The ambiance is cozy, the staff is friendly, and the bakery items are absolutely delicious. Perfect place for coffee and peace.
Somesh P — Google review
Stunning view of the valley and the lovely old world charm of this place have made this cafe really popular or I shall say overhyped. This is the only cafe in the vicinity and may be that is why this bakehouse is very famous. They have a good variety of baked items including sweet and savoury both. Tried few of the baked goods and I would say that they were DECENT. Staff is great, and good value for money if you consider the views.
Rishav S — Google review
The hour long queue in the cold tested the café hopper in me to the max. Anyhow, it was SO worth it- the melt in your mouth cakes, finely crafted cinnamon rolls, lemon tarts with the perfect zest. Takeaways are quicker, through a cute little window, while the wait for dining in may be accompanied by pinterest-y photoshoots on the English streets. PSA, names for entry are announced by the doorkeeper just once so dont wander far away!
Ayushi G — Google review
Had a cup of coffee and a slice of upside-down apple cake here, and both were absolutely delicious. The place has a nice and cozy atmosphere. It can get a bit crowded, but it’s totally worth waiting for. Loved the overall vibe.
Musafir H — Google review
This is a text book Insta influencers hotspot.. You will ALWAYS find a line outside.. The bakery has good options but seating is limited… The ambience is SO COZY… there’s not a lot of vintage places left like this anymore… It is mos def worthwhile to sit here for a bit, enjoy a nice coffee, a pastry or a croissant.. If you go during quieter hours, a wonderful place to just sit and read…
Kishi M — Google review
Amazing Place and ambience. The walnut almond pastry is a must try. If you want to dine in the wait here is generally long , almost 30-40mins. But take away just takes 15-20mins. The management should be improved although. Must visit when coming to Mussoorie.

Kalsang is a vibrant restaurant located in the heart of Mall Road, Mussoorie, offering a delightful fusion of Chinese, Thai, and Tibetan cuisine in a relaxed setting. Renowned for its extensive menu featuring delectable dishes such as momos and shaptak, Kalsang has become a popular dining spot for locals and tourists alike. The cozy interiors and ambient lighting create an inviting atmosphere, making it one of the busiest yet most comfortable eateries in town.
I recently visited this gem and had one of the best bowls of noodles I’ve ever had in my life. Perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and served piping hot, it was comfort in its truest form. Whether you're craving Tibetan, Thai, Chinese, or Pan-Asian delights, Kalsang delivers with authenticity and soul. It’s the kind of food that doesn’t just fill your stomach,it stays with you.
Varsha S — Google review
Last night was about visiting one of North India’s most renowned Tibetan restaurants, a place that has been serving authentic flavors for over four decades. The ambience was warm, cozy, and truly Tibetan, making the experience feel special from the moment I walked in. The menu was extensive with Chinese, Thai, Korean, and Tibetan options — both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. I ordered Pad Thai noodles and Mokhtuk, and they were absolutely outstanding. The noodles were perfectly balanced in flavor, with just the right blend of spice and freshness, while the Mokhtuk was comforting, soulful, and perhaps the best I’ve had anywhere. This restaurant stands out not just for its history and reputation, but for the consistent quality it delivers. A must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Asian food with an unforgettable dining atmosphere.
Sneh S — Google review
Extremely disappointing food, it doesn’t not deserve this high rating at all. The space is very small and almost congested, almost none of the food we ordered were nice. Soup was the only saving grace. Please try Domas Inn for better food
Sudharsan H — Google review
Four stars just because of the food despite the fact it's famous and crowded all the time there is certain way to treat your guest. Service needs some really good training and especially how to talk to guest. Rest everything was good.
Pushpendra V — Google review
Mind blowing food!! The place offers authentic business from the hills - laphing, thukpa, baos, flat hand pulled noodles, dumpling soups & a wide variety of meat options. Every dish we ordered was finger licking delicious & served in generous portions. Speaking of ambience, it just couldn’t get better with the Himalayan vibes, music & decor. Exciting stuff - They have a uniquely designed Photo Booth (Korean Photo Booth); the first of its kind in Dehradun where you can custom dress up & get clicked with your gang. Also, it’s quite affordable, priced at just Rs 100 per picture.

I visited Kalsang Pan Asian Cuisine in Mussoorie and tried the veg momos and veg noodles. Both dishes were very tasty with a nice smoky flavor. The food was fresh and full of flavor. You can try khao suey also. The place was quite crowded, and there is not much parking space nearby. Because of the crowd, the service was a bit slow, but the food made up for it. The restaurant has a good vibe and is worth a visit if you enjoy Asian food. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5)

Kalsang in Mussoorie has always been our go-to. Tried the mushroom flat noodles again and honestly, they never miss…always hit the spot. The vibe here just feels right, warm and alive in its own way. You might have to wait 15–20 mins, but once the food comes… it’s all worth it.

It's a great place to have Tibetian cuisine. This place is more than just for food as it's full of amazing experiences. Hospitality here is friendly & attentive that melts your heart along with their splendid food. It's located on the mall road so it's very difficult to find nearby parking. The interiors of this place are designed to feel closer to Tibetian culture. Having food here is like a culinary journey filled with rich flavours & tibetian authenticity. They prepare their food freshly so it takes a little time to serve. On busy days be prepared to wait for a 15-20 mins waiting period owing to its popularity. We tried many delicious Tibetian dishes that included Chicken Momos, flavorsome Chicken Lamen fried, Chicken thukpa, Chicken Mokthuk etc. One can try their recently launched Korean Menu. Excellent food ! Always an enjoyable experience while dining here. A must visit for food enthusiasts.

Located on Mall Road in Mussoorie, Lovely Omelette Centre is a renowned culinary gem that has been serving delectable omelets and eggs for over a century. The aroma of their expertly crafted dishes tantalizes the senses, promising an explosion of flavors with every bite. Their signature chilli-cheese special and the famous Bun Omelette are beloved by both locals and tourists.
“Good omelettes are still hard to come by. They shouldn't be made in a hurried or slapdash manner. Some thought has to go into an omelette. And a little love too. It's like writing a book—done much better with some feeling!”- Ruskin Bond in Roads to Mussoorie. The best place to have Omelette in Mussoorie: Lovely Omelette Centre The place has a legendary fan following. The inside is quite cramped and you will hardly find seating place. But every order is prepared with care and love. No matter how long is the queue, he does not hurry and makes every omelette with same style. We had the masala omelette and it was heavenly. The eggs were cooked just right and the bread super soft. The wait is worth it.
Vikas S — Google review
We walked a long way to get to this place.. and found the guy taking a lunch break, he asked us to wait for 30 mins but at least he was true to his word. He was back in exactly 30 mins. Coming to the omlette, we tried cheese butter omlette and the taste was nice .. better than what you get in the area but nothing out of world... You can get the same omlette in sadar bazaar gurgaon (maybe better) so there definitely is a false hype around the name. The owner is a nice guy though... He serves on a first come first serve basis, and has also reserved a day for children of doon school... Meaning they only serve children on that day, and none other. You can try if you are around and there are no long queues... But walking all the way and standing in a queue for over an hour --- let it pass, there are other very good cafes in the vicinity.

Lovely Omelette in Mussoorie, an old and famous shop on Mall Road, offers a delightful breakfast experience with a small menu of 5-6 omelette varieties. During our two-day stay, we enjoyed their omelettes each morning, with the cheese omelette standing out as the best ever. Looking forward to another visit. Highly recommended for omelette lovers .
Shuchi M — Google review
Had breakfast and it was very yummy! Definitely recommend the cheese omlette it was finger licking good. The owner was a great guy to have a chit chat with whilst enjoying a great omlette, and the food was true to its word. A large celebrity base have also come to taste the food here, and there are specific days where it is open just for school students. The store opens timely before 10am, and there is no rush in the morning during that time so it is the best one to visit. Food tasted as good as mom's cooking 😊

Doma's Inn, located in Uttarakhand, is a charming cafe that transports visitors to an offbeat location in Bhutan with its serene ambiance and vibrant Tibetan decor. The century-old ivy cottage has been transformed into a cozy retreat adorned with multi-hued Tibetan motifs, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Owned by the attentive Tsering, the inn offers an extensive selection of authentic Tibetan dishes such as momos, thukpa, and shabhaley.
Had dinner here- ordered Phing Sha with Tigmo and Momos, and it turned out absolutely yummy! The Phing Sha was a perfect pairing for the cold, chilly weather. The ambience is lovely, especially if u appreciate Tibetan and hippie décor. The staff were polite and accommodating, and they were kind enough to fulfill our customization requests. Please don't eat at this restaurant. Don't get fooled by the colourful decor etc. the food is extremely bad. We got upset stomach after eating their food. Cafe
Cafe De Tavern, located on the bustling Mall Road in Mussoorie, offers a unique blend of a cafe and pub experience. The venue exudes a rustic charm with brick walls, wooden beams, and warm lighting. Guests can enjoy a wide range of cocktails and mocktails while being entertained by live musical performances. The cozy ambiance is complemented by rustic wooden tables and intricate wall art. Known for its wood-fired pizzas, this culinary haven has gained popularity since its establishment in 2015.
I heard a lot about its wood fried pizza so went there in the hope of good food. It's a minute walk from picture palace so till picture palace you may take a golf cart or rickshaw or simply walk. Once you reach you can see an old cafe with Victorian vibes. The pizza was actually spectacular but what sparkled my heart was the blueberry cheesecake and even the baked cheesecake. Not everyone can serve good cheesecakes, but they had the fine ones. Coffee was also good. Staff were polite and friendly. Overall I enjoyed there and would love to visit again. Home Search Trips

The vibe of this place is truly inviting — great ambiance paired with impressive service. We tried their wood-fired pizza, which was decent but nothing exceptional. The drinks, too, were fairly average. They do serve alcohol, adding to the café/restaurant’s relaxed atmosphere. Overall, it’s a good spot to hang out, with nominal pricing that makes it worth a visit.
Ankita R — Google review
What a fantastic place! The pizzas were phenomenal—both the veg and non-veg options were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. But the goodness didn't stop there. The cheese garlic bread was a cheesy, garlicky dream, and the rice bowls were a delicious surprise. And for drinks, their cold coffee was the perfect, creamy beverage to complement everything. The overall experience was wonderful, thanks to the lovely ambiance, great lighting, and good service. It's always a plus when a place also has good washroom facilities. We'll definitely be back!
Abhimanyu V — Google review
I recently visited Cafe De Tavern, located on Mall Road in Mussoorie, and had a wonderful time. The café has a warm, rustic vibe with a cozy ambiance that fits perfectly with the hill station mood. I ordered the Wood-Fired Farmhouse Pizza, and it was absolutely fantastic. The base was thin and crisp with a nice smoky touch from the wood fire, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful — loaded with veggies and just the right amount of cheese. The staff was friendly and the service was smooth. If you’re in Mussoorie and looking for a good place to enjoy wood-fired pizza with a great atmosphere, this place is definitely worth checking out!

Cafe De Tavern, located on Mall Road near the Picture Palace end in Mussoorie, is a cafe that has a warm, rustic vibe that fits perfectly with the hill station mood. We ordered the Wood-Fired Margherita Pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. It was one of the best Margherita’s that we’ve had. It was flavourful and had the perfect amount of cheese. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. They prepare pizza right in front of you so that’s a bonus. While I feel the place is overpriced and I’ve eaten at better value for money places but, this place is a must visit to satisfy your Pizza cravings in a lively atmosphere in Mussoorie.
Sohamm P — Google review
I have been to Café De Tavern twice during my trips to Mussoorie, and honestly, it has never disappointed me. The first visit was so good that I made sure to come back, and this time I tried their Vincent Hill Delight pizza. What an absolute delight that was. The crust was perfectly baked, the toppings felt fresh, and the flavors came together beautifully. It was the kind of pizza that makes you slow down and enjoy every bite. The cafe itself has a warm and inviting vibe. The interiors carry a rustic charm with wooden furniture and cozy lighting, which gives you the feeling of stepping into a mountain tavern. It’s the kind of place where you can spend hours chatting with friends or simply sit by yourself and soak in the atmosphere. The staff has always been polite and attentive, which adds to the overall experience. One thing I really like about Café De Tavern is how consistent they are with their food quality. A lot of places in touristy spots lose their charm over time, but this cafe manages to hold on to its standards. It feels like a balance between good food, good ambience, and genuine hospitality. If you are in Mussoorie and looking for a spot to enjoy hearty food in a cozy setting, Café De Tavern is absolutely worth a visit. I would gladly go back again.

This morning, my family and I visited Café De Tavern on Mall Road, Mussoorie, and it turned out to be the perfect start to our day. We ordered the woodfire aloo-stuffed paratha, and it was nothing short of heavenly — rich in flavor, cooked to perfection, and so comforting in the chilly hill station weather. The café’s ambience was equally delightful. With its super-cool yet cozy vibe, it carried the warmth and charm that you’d expect in the heart of the mountains. Sitting there, enjoying delicious food with my loved ones, made the experience even more special. Café Tavern is truly a gem on Mall Road — highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable breakfast in Mussoorie!
Sneh S — Google review
Café De Tavern, located on Mall Road in Mussoorie, is a vibrant and cozy café that offers a great ambiance and friendly service. The wooden interiors, live music vibes, and charming hill-town setting make it a perfect place to unwind with friends or family. If you’re a non-veg pizza lover, this place is a must-visit — their authentic wood-fired pizzas are full of flavor, especially the chicken and pepperoni variants which are highly recommended. However, for vegetarians, the menu might feel a bit limited, especially when it comes to pizza options. Though they do offer a few veg pizzas, the variety doesn’t match the non-veg range. So if you’re a vegetarian looking for diverse choices, you might want to check the menu beforehand. Their drinks menu is decent, and the overall food quality is good with reasonable pricing considering the location. Service is generally quick, and the staff is polite. Overall, a great café for non-veg lovers and a good hangout spot on Mall Road.

It's a haven for those who enjoy spicy food and seek to immerse themselves in pristine nature while savoring delicious meals. Whether you're looking to enjoy the scenery or indulge in flavorful dishes, Little Llama Cafe provides an ideal setting for both.
Such a cute little spot tucked away on Mall Road! I stopped by Little Lama Cafe and was genuinely impressed—what a hidden gem! I’m still dreaming about their Orange Cointreau Cake—hands down one of the best cakes I’ve had in a while. Moist, flavorful, and just the right touch of citrus and liqueur. Tried the Naga Pork too—beautifully balanced flavors. I’m not a big fan of bamboo shoots, so maybe should’ve skipped that, but the dish itself was very well done. Also, do not miss their Peach Iced Tea—it comes with real peach fruit pieces and is incredibly refreshing. Perfect for a sunny afternoon. Highly recommend for anyone craving good food, great desserts, and a cozy, chill vibe!

Ordered their wood fired pizza and it had all sorts of exotic vegetables and stuff. It was absolutely delicious. Overall ambiance inside the cafe is amazing and their choice of music is also good. Music is never kind of intrusive, you'll enjoy a sumptuous meal and coversate comfortably with your friends and family. The view from this cafe is a bit underrated. Loved spending time here. We also took a Rum Cake on the way back. Even that one is exceptionally good.

One of the best cafes in mussoorie. Great ambience and great view from the open sitting area in the balcony. Wide selection of menu. I had their Chicken Sandwich. Which was okay. could have been better. Service is very slow. Prices are little on the higher side.

Little llama should definitely be on your list of places to eat at when in mussoorie. We ordered their mezze platter, cold coffees and iced tea. The mezze was delicious. Everything was freshly made, the chef was out and about explaining dishes to guests which was so lovely to watch. The coffees were great too and the iced tea was amazing! A must visit.

I totally loved the serene vibes of this cafe. One of the local residents of mussoorie who happened to accompany me during my bus journey from dehradun to mussoorie suggested this cafe to me. The scenic beauty is worth having a seat here. I had a grilled veg cheese sandwich and totally loved it. The staff was responsive and the place was hygienic as well I highly recommend this cafe to all visiting mussoorie.

The artistic charm of the cafe is enhanced by vibrant paintings adorning the walls, while Polaroid cameras and eclectic furniture add to its distinctive ambiance. Known for excellent coffee, pizza, shakes, and subs, this cafe also offers a variety of snacks and baked goods.
Some cafes are great, some are legendary... This is the latter. Sit back and enjoy the minute things they have kept in mind while designing the place. For an hour i was back in a European cafe. The food and drinks are also the best in the whole mussoorie.

Juiciest pizza in town!! ♥️ We had both veg and non veg pizza and they were delicious and tasty and biggggg. One tip: only order one pizza even if you are 3-4 people because its quite heavy. The ambience is nice and quiet.

Such a hidden gem! Exactly what I was looking for — a cozy cafe with chill vibes, warm interiors, and a relaxed atmosphere. The coffee was just right, and the cheesecake was delicious! What made it even more special was finding postcards from Mussoorie there — such a lovely touch that added to the charm. Perfect spot to sit back, enjoy good food, and soak in the Mussoorie vibe. Would definitely visit again!

Cafe By The Way, a cosy cafe hidden right in front of us in the middle of the Mussorie Mall road. The cafe is surrounded by lots of shops, hence it can be a little difficult to find if you are not looking for it. The cafe is situated on the first floor, giving it a perfect place from where you can view the beautiful Mussori Mall road. The place also has many board games and books that you can use during your visit. We tried their recommended chicken pizza and hot chocolate, and both exceeded expectations. The pizza was flavorful with just the right balance of toppings, while the hot chocolate was rich, indulgent, and comforting, exactly what you’d want in a hill station café. Overall, it’s not just about the food but also the relaxing vibe that makes Cafe By The Way a must-visit when in Mussoorie.

Cafe By The Way on Mussoorie's Mall Road is a real find. It's got this cool, relaxed vibe that instantly reminded me of the cozy cafes you'd stumble upon in Amsterdam. Seriously, it's Mussoorie's best-kept secret. Beyond the great atmosphere, the food tastes great, too! They serve up delicious coffee and tasty snacks that are perfect for any time.

A quick energy refill at Cafe By The Way in Mussoorie turned out to be a delightful experience! The hot chocolate for the kid was comforting and rich, while the café mocha for the "home minister" was perfectly brewed. Chick Chocolate is a legendary restaurant and cafe that has been around for over 70 years. The charming ambiance features wrought iron furniture, colorful tiles, and an extensive menu filled with delicious dishes like thin-crust pizzas, waffles, Fruit Cream, and Dark Chocolate Shots. This old-world cafe tantalizes taste buds with its delectable creations such as crispy crust pizzas and savory toppings.
One of the best mutton burgers. Soft flavourful and juicy. Must try. They also make their own peanut butter which is quite famous. Especially the crunchy one

Chick chocolate on mall road Mussoorie has existed for as long as I can remember. It's a family run establishment and it's interiors stand unchanged. They evoke a sense of nostalgia. They do most things in their menu, well. However, the standout dish has to be the Nepolitan Base Pizza. It is simply outstanding. The base is fresh, light and delicious. I cannot recommend it enough. The Sandwich was ok. The fruit cream was superb. If you are visiting Mussoorie do visit here once.

The café has a vibrant and artistic atmosphere that makes it a lovely spot to relax and enjoy good food. Definitely a must-visit when in Mussoorie! 🍕🍰

Chick Chocolate has great ambience but is overrated. Tried the cold coffee — pretty average. Prices are sky-high for what you get. Feels more like you're paying for the vibe than the taste.

If you find yourself strolling down the iconic Mall Road in Mussoorie and craving something comforting, soulful, and indulgent—Chic Chocolate is that sweet pause your journey deserves. The place oozes charm with its warm wooden interiors, old-school rock music playing softly in the background, and the comforting aroma of chocolate and baked goodness in the air. It's not just a café—it’s a vibe. I’m not exaggerating when I say this was the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. Smooth, creamy, perfectly dense with just the right amount of sweetness—this slice felt like velvet on the tongue. The buttery biscuit base added the perfect crunch. If you try only one thing here, let it be this.
Varsha S — Google review
Nestled right opposite the proudly hoisted Indian flag on Mall Road, Chick Chocolate Café is an absolute gem that effortlessly blends old-world charm with modern culinary delight. Whether you’re a local, a wanderer, or just someone chasing good food with a view, this café is a must-visit. From the moment you step in, the beautifully rustic interiors transport you to a bygone era. With its Victorian-style décor, cozy seating, and warm ambiance, the café offers not just a meal, but an experience. Now, let’s talk food — and honestly, it’s hard to know where to begin. The wood-fired pizzas are the stuff of dreams: perfectly crisped, generously topped, and bursting with flavor. The sizzlers arrive steaming and aromatic, while the pancakes are fluffy, golden, and generously drizzled. But the true show-stealer? The Fruit Cream Forever — a refreshing, creamy delight that defies description and keeps you coming back for more. The menu is diverse, tempting, and thoughtfully curated — there’s truly something for every palate. Whether you’re looking for a hearty lunch, a sweet treat, or a warm coffee to go with mountain views, Chick Chocolate has you covered. In short, Chick Chocolate is not just a café — it’s a Mussoorie memory in the making. Highly recommended for everyone. Don’t leave the hill station without experiencing this culinary treasure.

Situated in the heart of Landour, this culinary gem is known for its legendary omelet that promises to tantalize your taste buds. Visitors can indulge in warm Maggi or savor regular Paranthas while enjoying the serene ambiance.
This is one of the four original and the oldest cafe in Chardukan complex. A small but well-maintained garden on top of the shop adds beauty to the place. They serve great Bun Omelette, Honey ginger lemon tea and Maggi!

Five stars..Not because Sachin tendulkar had visited this place. It has the world's best banana pan cake. I worked in best of the hotels in india and abroad, and have never tasted a banana pancake like this. It's a labor of love. Yes it's takes time.. but if you have not had it you are missing something. Yes the ginger lemon tea..plus bun omlette..etc was good too. It's the last shop as soon as you entre landour chardukan. Anils is the oldest.. so don't rush to get into the first one you see. Go straight to anils cafe. Yes you have to wait. Yes seating is limited. Yes some is placed to drive monkeys away. Yes things are a bit slow..as one person makes the food with love. So take a break..chill. sit on the benches and have the pancake and thank God.

People often complain that the prices are high or the food isn’t extraordinary—but for me, Anil Cafe (part of the iconic Char Dukan) is about the experience as a whole, not just its parts. It’s honestly one of my favorite spots in Mussoorie for breakfast. There's something magical about the old-school charm, the peaceful vibe of Landour, and the nostalgia that wraps around this place. Criticism is easy to find—but few places offer this kind of soul.

Anil’s Cafe at Chardukan, Mussoorie, is a must-visit spot that truly lives up to the hype. Nestled in the scenic Landour area, this small eatery is famous for its delicious food and celebrity visits. We tried the Bun Omelette, Pancakes, and Paratha—each one was absolutely worth it! The honey ginger lemon tea? Easily the best I’ve ever had. Despite the heavy rush, the place is managed efficiently by the owner, his wife, and a helper. Some might find the uncle a bit grumpy, but given the constant flow of customers, it’s understandable. The prices are on the higher side, and service is average due to the crowd, but the taste and vibe make up for it. The only downside is the struggle to find parking and a seat. If you walk through mall road there’s no chance that you’ll miss this cute and compact bakery. The croissants, muffins, pies and breads shine from the glass window and lure customers to its front. The prices are lower than most and the quality is better than most. We tried the fresh fruit cream and the Danish pastry, both of which were delicious. Chic Choc is also popular for its fruit cream but Casa Mia’s was less sweet, more rich in fruits and a must-try. They've also got an excellent range of hot and crisp patties which in the winters would be ideal, but before you get to them you must grab some of its frozen drinks and desserts. Food products supplier
A. Prakash and Co, located in the cantonment town, is a historic grocery store that has attracted celebrities like Ruskin Bond and Victor Banerjee. It holds significance as the first place in India to produce American staples back in the 1830s. The shop offers renowned homemade peanut butter, a wide variety of jams, and flavored cheese. Visitors can also enjoy snacks at nearby cafes such as Anils Cafe and Tip Top Tea Shop.
Just a stone’s throw from the iconic Landour Bakehouse lies a foodie goldmine that’s been quietly winning hearts (and taste buds) for years — Prakash & Co. Stores! Forget mass-produced supermarket stuff — these folks bake their own bread and whip up feta and cheddar cheese that could give any gourmet deli a run for its money. Seriously, one bite and you’ll wonder where this creamy, tangy magic has been all your life. But wait — there’s more. Pickles and fruit jams are flying off the shelves faster than you can say “homemade heaven”! From spicy to sweet, these jars are packed with punch and made the good old-fashioned way. No preservatives. No nonsense. Just pure, nostalgic deliciousness. Whether you’re a local, a wandering foodie, or just someone who appreciates a damn good spread, Prakash & Co. is the real deal. Walk in for a peek, walk out with a bag full of handcrafted love — and maybe a few extra kilos. No regrets.

Visited this popular spot and enjoyed the jams. They had a variety of cheeses I couldn’t try but looked tempting. The baked goods were great, especially the cinnamon bun—flavored with real cinnamon and not overly sweet. Just be cautious when eating outside, as monkeys in the area might snatch your food!

A. Prakash & Co., located in the serene town of Landour, is a treasure trove of artisanal delights and a must-visit for anyone exploring the area. Established in 1928, this iconic store has built a reputation for its exceptional handmade cheeses, jams, preserves, and other gourmet products. Their jams and preserves, made from locally sourced fruits like apricots, plums, and strawberries, are equally delightful. The apple butter and apricot jam are particularly popular, bursting with natural flavours. The shop also offers a selection of chutneys, pickles, honey, souvenirs. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, providing samples and recommendations to ensure every customer finds something they love.

When I visited Prakash, based on Ruskin Bond's words for the place, a bad quality product was the least of my expectations... Unfortunately all 4 products that I got were sub par and 3 were actually food hazard. Jams had fungus on the rim of the bottle and the inside of the lid... Pics are showing 50% of the fungus as it was wiped down upon opening Peanut butter was borderline rancid and peanut quality used was really appalling Guess this is how great brands lose their charm and consistency and then end up being average brands or maybe the people at Prakash are taking the ever increasing landour crowds for granted by selling half hearted stuff Disappointed!!
Sagar T — Google review
The store had a lot of variety especially in homemade products like jam, marmalade and cookies. Got an orange marmalade for home, but they have a very good collection including apple, strawberry and different varieties. Do ask them for postcards if you enjoy the art of writing to family and friends while travelling - bit on the higher range (80/- per postcard), but the quality is great and they provide you with Landour written envelopes too. All items of general essentials are also mostly available - got a permanent marker too on request. It’s a minute walking from Landour Bakehouse and worth a visit even for window shopping!
Aaratrika G — Google review
Really disappointed. Have been buying for a long time from here whenever I've visited. This time I bought jam instead of peanut butter. Gifted it to several people and retained one for myself. When I opened it, I found fungus on the jam. I'm so embarrassed. I'll need to call everyone I gifted it to and apologize if theirs has fungus as well.

Nestled in the picturesque hill town of Mussoorie, MOMOS Tibetan Kitchen is a charming restaurant run by second-generation young Tibetans. The eatery offers a wide array of delectable Tibetan, Thai, and Chinese cuisine alongside its signature dish - the utterly unique and delicious Tibetan dumplings known as momos. While renowned for its warm dumplings, the restaurant also serves an extensive selection of tantalizing dishes.
Momos Tibetan Kitchen is an absolute treasure! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm smiles and an atmosphere that feels just like home. The hospitality here is truly next level — friendly, attentive, and full of heart. And the food? Absolutely splendid. Every dish bursts with authentic Tibetan flavors, made with love and served piping hot. The momos are hands-down the best I’ve had — juicy, perfectly spiced, and wrapped in soft, delicate dough. Pair them with their homemade sauces, and you're in for a treat. This place is more than just a meal — it's a full experience. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great food and genuine hospitality. Can’t wait to come back! Want me to tailor it to a specific location or experience you had there?

This restaurant is situated at Mall Road , with a very amazing range of Tibetan foods . The atmosphere, food , service there was so good. It had a very chill vibe to it . I would 100% recommended their food .

It’s a great place to have Tibetan cuisine. Food , atmosphere is great, the service was bit late but manageable. The location is very convenient and it’s located on Mall Road Mussoorie. Very cozy place I liked the interior, pictures, the decoration . It was designed to feel closer to the Tibetan culture. We had Veg momos , veg cheese momos and thukpa . I really enjoyed the food , the location, atmosphere and the aesthetics of the place For your information it is located below CAFE BY THE WAY on Mall Road Mussoorie. The prices are on a higher side but the taste is authentic Must visit if u love the Tibetan cuisine I have added menu for your reference Happy eating and enjoy 🤩

Its a good Tibetan restaurant where you can find both veg and non veg options. Overall it’s good and worth to visit. Food taste is nice so you can definitely go there. On price side, it’s bit expensive as per my own experience.

Super Amazing Food We went to this place twice. Tried Chicken Thupka for the first time and I really loved it. The place is small and cozy and serves good food. Do try the momos here too which are super Amazing. We had chicken steam momo and veg fried momo. The chutney is also very tasty. The staff is well behaved and is very friendly too. It's a Tibetan Cuisine restaurant having 3 levels of seating arrangement .

Uphar Vegetarian is a laid-back vegetarian cafe located in the heart of Mussoorie's Mall Road. It offers a diverse menu featuring South Indian, Chinese, and Jain-style dishes, as well as pizzas and snacks. The vibrant atmosphere and the aroma of aromatic spices create an unforgettable dining experience. The live counter tempts diners with freshly made jalebis. Families will appreciate the friendly ambiance, while those seeking Jain meals will find options without onion or garlic.
Just went there for the desserts, the most popular “Ghee Vali Jaleb of Mussoorie”.. incredible taste and crispy.. place is loud and vibrant, packed with people having main course and desserts in there sitting area.. and queues on the counter for dessert take aways.. overall I loved the Jaleb and Rabri combo!

Uphar Restaurant is located at Mall Road, Mussoorie. Its a purely vegetarian restaurant serving punjabi, Chinese and south Indian food. We ordered mix veg paratha and veg fried rice. Overall taste is good. Washroom is available.

Good restaurant with variety of food with only vegetarian options. Food is average in taste and service is very good. Location is Excellent as this restaurant is located in the starting of the Mall road near Library chowk. Sitting capacity is limited so you will have to wait at the peak timings. Location- Near Library chowk Parking not available Food - 3/5. Service - 5/5 Location - 5/5

Seems most of the ratings are fake or forced because I had gone here by seeing the ratings. Below average food quality but rates were ultra high compared to the quality. Entire menu (except tawa roti) was tasteless. We ordered Mushroom masala, tawa roti, makai roti and pulav. Mushroom was super spicy and pulav was salt less. Overall food was tasteless. Only tawa roti was good.
Mukund H — Google review
Location is best aspect. Just at Library Chowk, most happening place on Mall Road. Ambience is good too. When I visited for late lunch, two tables were occupied. Being a solo traveller with limited appetite, I wanted a small Combo like Kadhi chawal etc. They don't have such combos on their Menu. Thali is available but that would have been too much for me. So I ordered one chana Masala and one naan. Portion size was quite large. Taste was ok. They packed the remaining food items. Price on higher side.
Alok — Google review
Food taste is average. We tried Kofta and Dal fry. Kofta taste was good. Chapati were serverd hot. Jalebi and Kadau Dudh is good.
Saurabh G — Google review
Not at all recommend, They served food with no taste and over priced. People just loot at hills with tasteless and pricey food. I hope some food chains will change this trend.
Mukesh K — Google review
Located right on Mall Road, this spot offers an inconsistent but worthwhile experience. While the main dishes we tried—Pav Bhaji, Masala Dosa, Paneer Butter Masala, and Butter Chapati—were generally good and tasty, the overall savory menu seems like a mixed bag. However, you absolutely shouldn't skip their renowned desserts and soft-serve ice creams. Be sure to try the Rabdi, Masala Milk, Ghee Jalebi, and the various softie flavors!

Indulge in their mouth-watering waffles, sumptuous pancakes, and comforting Maggi while sipping on refreshing Lemongrass tea. One of the best waffles I had here. 🧇 😋 The service is very warm and welcoming feels like home. The cheese chilli toast is also very delicious. Must visit.

This is one of the four original cafes in Chardukan complex. It opened in 1910 and is still going strong. They serve great Pan cakes, French fries, and Waffles. Compared to the other three cafes here, this one has better organised seating space. The place is always crowded but service is quick.

If you visit Char Dukan and your are confused which cafe you should seat . I personally recommend that place try this shop The owner will personally take care of you with a very warm and welcoming nature. Must recommend is to try pancake & omelette.

Came in late right around closing time. They were warm enough to give us hot yummy food even after closing time. They know how to take care of their customers
Nishil R — Google review
One of the char dukaans in the famed row of shops at Landour. Has old school vibes. Small setup and the owners are welcoming for obvious reasons. It took us 15-20 minutes to get a seat for the three of us and took approximately the same or more for our order to reach the table. Fries were a little over salty the waffle and ice cream was fine. ₹700 seemed a tad steep for just these two items for this kind of a setup but nonetheless it’s probably a seasonal thing so they’re raking in whatever they can. They did return crisp fresh notes in change though 😜 perhaps just go there for the experience with little or no expectations. Seemed like getting a seat there was the premium we had to pay.
Richard H — Google review
Incredibly Arrogant Service, Do Not Recommend. My recent visit to this restaurant was deeply disappointing. We arrived to find both of the establishment's two tables occupied. Since we were eager to try the food, we politely offered to take our order to go and eat elsewhere. To our surprise, the owner and his son responded arrogance. They flat-out refused our request, stating in a condescending tone that we could only eat there and would have to wait for a table to become available. This attitude was completely uncalled for. I would strongly advise anyone considering this place to save their money and go somewhere that appreciates its customers.
Shardul S — Google review
Nice little cafe in Lal Tibba which serves quick snacks. We had ordered bun omelette, peri peri french fries and kullad tea. All of them were delicious and the service was quick too. However the cost was too high (approx 400 INR) for the order but I guess it’s because of the location. It’s best to reach on foot because getting vehicles here is too chaotic.
Rahul R — Google review
The owner is warm enough but his son is very rude and is in no zone to cater the customers. He was eager enough to pick a fight when he was asked about the prices of the food items we had already ordered. Guy took a big blow to his ego.

A Delightful Culinary Escape at Cafe Hinge Stepping into Cafe Hinge on Mussoorie's Mall Road was the perfect end to a day of exploring. I visited with my sister a few weeks ago, and we were craving something sweet. We ordered the affogato and the banana pancake, and both were absolutely divine. The affogato was a beautiful harmony of strong, hot espresso poured over cold vanilla ice cream—a simple yet perfect classic. But the real star was the banana pancake. It was a generous, fluffy stack, served with a heavenly combination of whipped cream, rich vanilla ice cream, and fresh banana slices. Every bite was a pure delight and utterly mouthwatering. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff made our experience even more memorable. Cafe Hinge is truly a must-visit spot for anyone with a sweet tooth looking for a fantastic treat on Mall Road. I can't wait to go back!
Sneh S — Google review
Tried their pancake which was decent — soft, mildly sweet, and nicely cooked. It wasn’t extraordinary, but it did the job for a quick bite. A touch more fluffiness or a richer topping could have elevated it, but overall, it was a satisfying and simple treat
Nav G — Google review
Very poor quality if food. Uses subpar ingredients. The nutella they use for the waffle is also some local brand. I saw it with my own eyes on the counter shelf. The mushroom sandwich tasted bitter. It was priced 400Rs and honestly there were only 4 pieces of mushroom and a dollop of Pesto. Intially the servers were adding mayo I had to tell them that it mentions pesto and not mayo. They were themselves surprised. They don't even know their menu. Coffee was pathetic. Tasted just like milk. Please do not visit this cafe. Infact all reviews seems to be fake. Please be mindful.

🌿✨ Just had the most delightful breakfast experience at The Rustic Table! 🍳🥓 If you're a fan of hearty American breakfasts, this charming spot is a must-visit. From the moment we walked in, the cozy, farmhouse ambiance set the perfect tone for a comforting meal. I indulged in their classic eggs benedict with a side of crispy bacon and perfectly seasoned home fries—each bite was pure bliss! 🥞🥚 The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to stop by for a taste of rustic goodness that will leave your taste buds dancing! 🌟

From the moment you walk into Café Hinge, it’s clear that this isn’t your average hill station café. Tucked near Picture Palace, Kurli Chowk on Mall Road, it feels like a warm embrace — cozy interiors, soft lighting, tasteful décor, with just enough hustle of Mall Road outside to give one the sense of being “in the moment.” Food & Beverages The menu is diverse and creative. If you’re in the mood for something familiar, the pastas, burgers, thin-crust pizzas, and continental selections are done well. RestauTripadviso

Their tea selection is absolutely top-notch — you can tell they take their brews seriously. I tried their signature iced tea and was blown away by the depth of flavor and presentation. The food menu complements the drinks beautifully; everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Their sandwiches and desserts especially stand out. “As a light snack nothing could be simpler or more satisfying than a slice of bread and butter, a combination that has been the staple of my diet for the better part of my 80-plus years on planet Earth. And now I am told by the dietary specialists and fitness faddists that bread and butter are bad for me; bread, because of some chemical that goes into its making or baking, and butter because it is nothing but saturated fat or trans-fat or transgender fat or something along those lines which only leads to more fat around the waistline”-Ruskin Bond in an interview The best thing about this establishment is its nice decor and outdoor seating. You can enjoy a nice hot cup of tea along with bread and butter in a nice peaceful natural surrounding right on the Mall! Lotte's Homebaked Goods & Cafe is a charming bakery cafe located in Landour, Mussoorie. The owners, Lotte and her husband Vidur, bring their expertise in European baking to this cozy spot. Lotte's background in baking started in the Netherlands and was further developed while working with executive chefs in London. The cafe offers a delightful selection of European treats such as Dutch cakes, slices, cupcakes, poffertjes, and coffee.
I ordered my baby’s first birthday cake from Lotte’s Bakery purely based on their reviews and ratings — and to be honest, I was a little apprehensive since I had no prior experience with them. But they absolutely *delivered* — and then some! The cake was not only stunning but tasted incredible. We truly devoured it! It exceeded all expectations and made the celebration even more special. You could tell it was made with care, quality ingredients, and real attention to detail. What also stood out was the professionalism from start to finish — right from handling the order to ensuring a smooth and timely delivery. Everything was handled so efficiently and kindly, which made the whole process stress-free for me as a parent planning a milestone event. Thank you, Lotte’s Bakery, for being part of such a special day — I’m so glad I trusted the reviews!
Pragya G — Google review
It’s a cute little Bakery & Cafe in a convenient spot if you’re living somewhere near Landour. (Don’t Recommend this place if you’re travelling on a budget though) 1. Love the cozy atmosphere here, and its a great place to work for a few hours, if you’re on a work-ation! 🧑‍💻 2. Really liked the coffee. Ordered a Double Shot Mocha, and they served it with a Home-Made Biscuit. 🍪 3. I did find it too unnecessarily expensive. Everything on the menu seems overpriced. Just for two coffees and a sandwich, it costed us over 1k.

Lotte’s is a hidden gem in the heart of Landour! The cafe has a cozy, European-inspired vibe that makes you want to sit back and enjoy every bite. The food is absolutely delicious The coffee, roasted in-house by Landour Coffee, is a standout. I tried the cortado and the honey latte — both were smooth, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. The staff is warm, welcoming, and always ready with recommendations. Special shoutout to the lovely ambiance — the place is small but full of charm. If you're visiting Mussoorie or Landour, this cafe is a must-visit for food lovers and coffee enthusiasts!

Oh i absolutely loved this cafe! Not only is the coffee top notch (for all the coffee lovers , yes they do have freshly roasted beans!! ), the bakery items are sooo good and fresh. I visited this cafe on both the days i was in landour, the location is good, you can actually sit here , work and watch the sunset peacefully meanwhile indulging in their Carrot cakes or apple crumble pie or any other item. I even got home Camel's back coffee ( medium roast, nutty), and loved it. They have a collection of books too if you just want to cosy up and read. I actually found a book On Mussoorie and the various walking trails you could take there. Had a great time. Would highly recommend !!!

Lotte's is one of those little gems in Landour. The café is small and super cute, with a cozy vibe that matches perfectly with the calm and misty surroundings.

This is an og cafe in Landour. As a first time visitor, the café vibes in this one feel quite original and authentic. My friend took some coffee which he liked, and we shared a carrot cake which was hands down superb in taste. As a tourist, I’m honestly quite surprised by how authentic and organic this café feels, there’s some sense of peace and tranquility that I haven’t felt elsewhere, like this is a real café guys. I visited during evening time, and I think after that it becomes bit too dark on the roads so avoid visiting too late. It will be a long time before I visit Mussoorie again, but definitely looking forward to visiting here next time. Café staff was also quite friendly so credits to them.

We had a delightful dinner at this cozy restaurant in Mussoorie. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. A place steeped in history. The North Indian fare here has a distinct Delhi slant to it, and I am not complaining. Highly recommend the Chicken Afghani and the Mutton Rara. While the Kali Mirch Chicken and Mutton Seekh Kabab were also great, they still fell a bit short of the first two dishes, such was the depth of flavors in them. Additionally recommend pairing the Rara with Roomali Roti. The flavors brought out as a result were otherworldly. Staff and owners were very courteous, and I hope to come back again.

This is apparently the oldest restaurant in Mussoorie, running since 1949. In recent times they have made efforts to talk about the heritage of this restaurant. A nice display greets the visitors which talks about the restaurant's history and its famous patrons. The service is good and one can see many old timers still at work here. However not many tourists come here and hence the quality of food is suspect here.We ordered Paneer Khurchan and Naan. Naan was the best we have ever had, soft and just about sweet. The Paneer khurchan did taste good but we had an upset stomach next day!

We visited this place twice and had their mouth watering signature dishes like mutton rara and butter chicken with butter naan and were grandly treated with delectable taste in every bite. Didn’t even think about visiting any other place after trying their dishes. Staff is courteous, service is prompt and ambience has that old school Mussoorie charm in it. It was also heartening to see the owners taking so much interest in ensuring that all their diners have a pleasant experience! Must visit place whenever you are in Mussoorie.

“I recently had food at Neelam in Mussoorie and it was an amazing experience. The food was fresh, tasty and felt homely, with authentic flavors. The service was quick, staff was polite and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. It’s one of those places where you really enjoy both the food and the vibe. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mussoorie!”

Midway restaurant is a well-established and budget-friendly eatery in Mussoorie, Dehradun, known for its authentic and hygienic Chinese cuisine. The place offers a nostalgic ambiance reminiscent of the 80s and prides itself on its courteous staff. Visitors rave about the delicious Thupka soup, Chicken Momos, Kadai Paneer, Tawa Roti, and Raita that evoke a homemade taste.
We had steamed Veg Momos, Chole Bhature and veg thukpa from there. All the food is very good and delicious.. but be careful while calculating the price of the food.. As travelers we don't care But we can be deceived

All 5 stars received to this restaurant are fake. They make false commitment of paying Rs. 200 against each 5 star and thereafter doesn't make that payment too. Total scam and false rating.

Chardukan Mussoorie is a delightful gem nestled at the base of Saint Paul's Church in the picturesque hill station of Landour. This charming café invites visitors to indulge in a variety of culinary treats, from aromatic teas and freshly baked pastries to savory momos and mouthwatering pizzas. The inviting atmosphere, combined with attentive service, creates an unforgettable dining experience that captures the essence of this quaint town.
Open air dining is pretty cool when the atmosphere is cloudy and chilly. Accepts only cash and takes bit time for preparation, but its worth it. Tried the Original Pancake and the Apple Cinnamon Pancake topped with Pancake syrup. Good one time try and if you visit Landour then its worth giving a shot at this place.
Shuvottam S — Google review
Char Dukan is a must-visit in Mussoorie for its amazing ambience and cool weather. During monsoons, you can even find clouds drifting around you, which makes the experience truly unique. On the downside, food and drinks are overpriced due to the social media hype, and parking is a real hassle with cars lined up on narrow streets causing jams. Still, the atmosphere and weather make it worth a stop.
Anil R — Google review
Char Dukan is Set in the scenic Mussoorie, Char Dukan is a collection of four shops located side by side, which serve food items since time. Items like pancakes, Wai-Wai, Pakoras and shakes are available. This is a popular hangout spot in Mussoorie. Char Dukan is located in the Sister’s Bazar, in Landour in upper Mussoorie. Nearby is the beautiful church of St. Paul, which makes for a photogenic setting. There is a wide variety of snacks one can have here, including the Apple Cinnamon Waffles, Maggie and Bun Omelettes.

The experience was overall very good. We tried the Banana Pancake and momos at the tip top tea cafe. The taste was very good. However, take some extra time with you while you visit here because cafes have a waiting time of approx 15- 20 minutes.

We ordered waffle and coffee here. Coffee is just like any other local shops that you find in your cities but the quantity was decent. Cinnamon waffle was amazing although bit overpriced at 300 but again the quantity was decent. Overall it's a good place to sit and chat while eating and enjoying views.

Location: In the Landour cantonment area above Mussoorie (Uttarakhand), the spot known as Char Dukan (“four shops”) lies opposite St. Paul’s Church on Rajmandi road, Landour. • What it is: Originally a row of four snack/tea-shops, now a popular hillside café zone — offering simple meals, snacks, teas/cafés, and great views. • Visitor rating: Google & review sites list it around 4.3/5 for ambience and food. ✅ Pros • Scenic ambience: Being in Landour, elevated above Mussoorie, Char Dukan offers lovely hillside views, cooler weather, deodar trees, and a break from the busier Mall Road area. • Comfort-food & café vibe: The offerings are relaxed — pancakes, waffles, shakes, tea, simple snacks like pakoras and Maggi. Reviewers highlight comfort over fine dining. • Old-world charm & relaxed pace: The place retains a rustic feel and appeals to those wanting a slow morning or cozy snack stop rather than a full formal meal. • Good for morning/tea time visits: Early visit brings the benefit of cooler air, fewer crowds, and a peaceful setting. ⚠️ Cons / Things to Know • Crowds / peak busy times: On weekends/holidays it can get quite crowded; seating may take time and service might slow. • Basic infrastructure: It does not offer upscale fine-dining trimmings. The setup remains simple, which is part of the charm for many, but some may expect more. • Parking / access difficulty: The approach to Char Dukan may involve a walk or uphill path (especially if coming from Mall Road) and parking near Landour is more limited than in main town. • Payment / service quirks: Some reviewers mention slower service, possibly cash-preferred setups, especially during busy hours. 🎯 Tips for Your Visit • Go early (morning or early afternoon) to avoid the peak rush and enjoy the view in peace. • Wear something comfortable for a short uphill walk (if you park lower) — part of the charm is the hillside setting. • Try the pancakes/waffles with honey/maple syrup and the ginger-honey-lemon tea — these are popular picks. • If you have a vehicle, check parking in Landour area (or park and walk) — narrow road and limited space. • Bring some cash or check payment options ahead of time (some places mention cash only). • For photo lovers: the hillside morning light, mist over valley, and café setup make for good shots — take time to stop and soak it in.
Somesh P — Google review
We reached here around 9:20, and it was quite empty at that time, but this place can get very crowded during the peak hours. The chai, and the parathas were amazing, but the pancakes were slightly thicker than what I would’ve liked. The prices are higher than a typical breakfast place, but it’s justifiable considering the location, and the hype surrounding this place.
Dhruv R — Google review
I would give more than 5 stars for the location of this establishment. Since we skipped lunch, we stopped here in the evening for a quick snack. We tried momos and bread omelet, and it was a pleasant surprise to see the bread omelet prepared in such a unique way.

Nestled in the hills, Mosaic Hotel Mussoorie offers vibrant rooms and suites with stunning valley views. The hotel features rooftop dining and a spa for relaxation. Conveniently located near popular attractions like Camels Back Road and Kempty Falls, it provides easy access to explore the area. Guests can enjoy continental cuisine during their stay.
We stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were neat and clean, making our stay comfortable and pleasant. There was ample parking space available, which was a big plus. The staff was courteous and helpful throughout, especially Pankaj Singh, who stood out with his cheerful personality and great sense of humor—he always had us laughing and truly made our stay more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the terrace, which offers a lovely view—perfect for a morning tea or relaxing in the evening. Also, the Mall Road is just a few steps away, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and exploring the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, well-located place with warm hospitality!

The staff is very arrogant. They are charging extra for view and no it's the same. The beds are dirty. They are scaring my kids by the name of ghosts. Monkeys are roaming. The staff is very unprofessional and don't have any experience and they don't know how to handle bulk booking.Water is spilt in front of the reception. No care for senior citizens(very rude). Avoid booking. It's just waste of money according to me.

Location is wonderful and rooms can have bit of improvement in cleaning process.Staff and service is amazing. Overall stay was wonderful, breakfast buffet was great with variety of options and they serve you hot food as you request. Indoor Swimming pool is nice and need bit more cleaning but still serve the purpose. Even restaurant food is amazing and reasonable price. Go and explore yourself and have best of your time.

We spent our weekend at this resort in Mussoorie and it turned out to be the perfect getaway we’d been waiting for. The food was delicious and the view from our room was just breathtaking. I booked directly on their website and saved a bit too, the whole experience felt smooth and satisfying.

We stayed here for a night without any prior booking, as it was a quick halt with an early morning checkout. As we neared the Picture Palace barrier, a friendly guard on the right caught our attention and invited us to check out Mosaic Hotel (they also have a branch in Noida). At first glance, the building seemed compact, almost like a small boutique hotel. But the moment we took the lift to the 4th floor where the reception is, our perception changed completely. The reception area opened into a beautifully designed lobby with a scenic view. There was also access to a lovely terrace and a cozy, roof-covered seating area that led to the spa and a warm indoor heated pool — a perfect surprise. The hotel comprises 7 floors with 42 well-appointed rooms and suites — the bathrooms are impressively spacious, almost the size of a room themselves. There are two small banquet spaces, and the in-house restaurant serves a quality breakfast with a good variety of options. What stood out most was the warmth and professionalism of the staff and management. Near the covered terrace, we found some quirky and comforting all-day snacks — from Maggi and dim sums to golgappas and a small bar setup — a thoughtful and fun touch. Overall, it’s excellent value for money, and the location is unbeatable — just a 2-minute walk from Picture Palace barrier and Mall Road. Valet parking is an added convenience. Rating: 5/5 — A hidden gem in the heart of Mussoorie.

Disappointed and Let Down After Years of Loyalty We have been loyal patrons of Mosaic Hotel, Mussoorie for the past 4–5 years and have never even considered staying anywhere else during our visits. It had always felt like a dependable and welcoming place — until our recent experience, which left us deeply disappointed and hurt. Despite being regular guests, the quality of service this time was far below expectations. The breakfast spread was underwhelming, and the staff was unusually slow and inattentive. While we understand occasional delays due to high occupancy, what truly shocked us was the lack of basic courtesy and empathy from the restaurant staff — especially towards a loyal guest with a young child. My child was a little cranky and not eating well, so we politely requested the staff to pack just two puris for him to eat later. This simple request was denied outright. When I asked for the floor manager, Mr. Sudanshu, to come over — who was on the floor doing absolutely nothing — he took his time to approach our table. And when he did, he first started chatting casually with the nearby staff instead of acknowledging or greeting the guest who had specifically called for him. When I explained the situation and asked again to please pack two puris for my child, his response was shockingly rude and dismissive. He said breakfast couldn’t be packed because then they’d have to pack for everyone. I offered to pay for the packed food — and even then, his tone and body language were completely unprofessional and unkind. It was not about the food — it was about the lack of basic respect and empathy. To say the least, I felt humiliated and hurt. The incident reflected a complete disregard for customer loyalty and no understanding of how to treat guests — especially repeat visitors who have always spoken highly of this property. Management needs to know that you’ve lost a loyal customer today. Not because of two puris, but because of the attitude and arrogance shown by the staff and floor manager. We travel to relax and feel welcome, not to argue for basic kindness. I truly hope the hotel reflects on this and works towards training their staff better in guest relations. Having a full house should never be an excuse for disrespect. — A Former Loyal Guest

Hotel Mall Palace is a low-key accommodation located in Dehradun, offering a simple restaurant and a terrace with scenic mountain views. The hotel provides 37 guestrooms with flat-screen televisions and amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access, concierge services, and bicycles for rent. Guests can enjoy meals at the on-site restaurant or opt for room service during limited hours. The hotel also features express check-in, a 24-hour front desk, and free valet parking.
The hotel property is slightly old so maybe a little problem for those looking for a lavish modern built property but that is the only con. Everything else is great about this hotel - food is decently priced and delicious, location is right at the middle of mall road so perfect, valet parking is also available, staff are courteous and polite, all rooms have balcony - some have private balcony others have a big common balcony for big groups/family. The restaurant is on the top floor and really good as well. Hotel tariff is also very good compared to hotels in the surroundings. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel for all kinds of guests whether family, couples or groups of friends. Thank you Hotel Mall Palace for serving us well :)

Poor service of food and if you even order lemon they will charge for it. 4. Monkey are coming on there room balcony often to steal the food. Unsafe environment. Hotel Deep, located on The Mall Road in Mussoorie, offers comfortable rooms with complimentary Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy the restaurant, game room, and terraces with stunning mountain views. This venue is ideal for hosting pre-wedding events and social gatherings, providing high-quality catering and top-notch services for an unforgettable experience. The staff is known for their exceptional politeness and attentiveness.
We were looking for a getaway where we could take our pug, and Hotel Deep was the perfect choice. The staff made sure he was comfortable and happy throughout. The location, hospitality, and genuine love for pets make it the best pet friendly hotel in Mussoorie.

My stay at Hotel Deep was extremely disappointing. One of the most basic expectations from a hotel is access to water, yet I was not provided with water for a bath. Despite repeatedly informing the staff, no prompt action was taken to resolve the issue. The lack of concern and poor service made the experience even more frustrating. For the price charged, I expected a much better level of hospitality. I sincerely hope the management takes necessary steps to ensure no guest faces such inconvenience in the future. I would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Not Family-Friendly at All I had one of the worst experiences here and would strongly advise against visiting—especially if you're planning to come with kids or family. From the moment we arrived, the service was completely non-existent. There was zero regard for customer care, and it honestly felt like no one was in charge. Whenever we approached a staff member for help, they would either redirect us to someone else or blame another department entirely. It was just a constant loop of finger-pointing, with no resolution or responsibility. The environment was chaotic and poorly managed. Not only was the staff indifferent and unresponsive, but they also seemed completely overwhelmed and disorganized. There was no assistance available, no clear information, and absolutely no effort to provide even basic service quality. This place is clearly not equipped to handle families, especially with children. There were no accommodations made, no one to help or guide, and no sense of hospitality whatsoever. Overall, this was a deeply frustrating and stressful experience. If you're looking for a place to relax or enjoy time with your loved ones, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This place is not worth your time, money, or patience.

⭐ 1/5 – Extremely Disappointing Stay at Hotel Deep, Mussoorie Our experience at Hotel Deep was nothing short of pathetic. Right from the moment we checked in, the management was extremely rude and unwelcoming. They clearly have no sense of customer service or hospitality. The rooms were dirty and smelly, with filthy linen, stained curtains, and unhygienic washrooms. There was absolutely no cleanliness or upkeep in the property. Despite repeated requests, basic amenities like a water kettle, tea-making facilities, or even a mini-fridge were not provided. To make matters worse, no basic toiletries were available in the room — not even soap, shampoo, toothbrush, or toothpaste. It’s hard to believe this place even qualifies as a hotel. There was no valet or proper parking assistance, adding to the frustration. This place is nowhere near what it promises online. Overall, it was a terrible stay, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are far better options available in Mussoorie at the same price point. Avoid if you value hygiene, comfort, and basic respect.

Very bad experience at Deep Hotel I had a very unpleasant stay. The room floor was constantly wet, with water seeping from the ground, making it uncomfortable and unsafe. The room also had a strong, unpleasant smell throughout. I informed housekeeping, but they were unresponsive and didn’t take any action. The rest of the staff were also careless and seemed uninterested in helping. Definitely not recommended.
Ravinder R — Google review
Very poor hospitality and service, there are lot of cockroaches and insects inside wardrobe inside bed covers and on sofas too... Bedding sheets are stained and not hygienic including the pillows and towels... Service was terribly slow and no one was there to attend calls at night even for emergencies... The service man kept invading privacy by directly walking in with food or essentials without even knocking at door or atleast asking to step in first which was very awkward and uncomfortable... The washrooms didn't had dustbin atleast for women and toddlers and on top of that the washrooms smelled awful and someone from previous stayer puked tobacco in washroom and it wasn't even cleaned for us... Parking was a big mess as the hotel is on a turn and the cars can not be parked there because of less space for turning...

We recently stayed at this hotel for an office trip and were quite disappointed. Despite paying nearly Rs 1,05,000 for a 2-day stay, our experience was subpar. Hotel cab service is available from 10 to 8 only so after 8 if you wants to roam on mall road you have to go to hotel by walk. We started morning by 7.30 from hotel so their cab service charged us 800 rs just to drop to parking area which is around 1 to 1.3 km from hotel. From there again we paid Coolie to transfer our luggage. Botttom story is hotel is good rooms good but location is very bad to reach and come back there you have to spend 1000 or more . My friend said "If I would want to visit Mussoorie again, Pebble's food would be one of the great reason." I know that's a great compliment but they are worth having it. Pebble serves great food. If you are in Mussoorie or planning for a vacation here and got fed up with the boring and not so tasty food in Mussoorie. I would recommend you to go here. Pebble serves very delicious food. Location: Take a walk towards the Kempty Fall from the Library chowk and just having a 30-40 meters walk. You will find this place. Ambience is so cozy and soothing. Worth visiting and I promise you'll never regret spending money here. Price: It's not so cheap and not so expensive. It ranges mediocre (from ₹300-400).

*Looking for a mix of good hygiene, ambiance, and tasty food in Mussoorie? Pebble Restaurant offers just that, albeit with a few hiccups. Here's a breakdown:* - **Hygiene Hero**: Pebble Restaurant scores high on hygiene standards, ensuring a clean and safe dining environment for patrons. - **Ambiance Aesthetic**: The ambiance at Pebble Restaurant is top-notch, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience with its charming decor and scenic views. - **Limited Availability**: Unfortunately, the availability of menu items is a letdown. Despite ordering chilli garlic noodles, only veg garlic noodles were available, hinting at limited options and possibly pre-cooked meals. - **Quick Service, Questionable Freshness**: While the veg garlic noodles were served promptly within two minutes, it raised doubts about the freshness of the food, suggesting that it might have been pre-prepared. - **Pricey Picks**: Pebble Restaurant leans towards the pricier side, which might not sit well with budget-conscious diners. - **Tasty Treats**: Despite the shortcomings, the food at Pebble Restaurant impresses with its delicious flavors, making it a redeeming factor for the overall dining experience. - **Scenic Views**: Let's not forget the stunning view that accompanies your meal, adding to the restaurant's appeal and making it a delightful spot for a meal with a view. *In essence, while Pebble Restaurant shines in terms of hygiene, ambiance, and taste, its limited availability, questionable freshness, and higher prices could be areas for improvement.*

I ordered chicken biryani and some vegetarian dishes from this restaurant, and the experience was very disappointing. The rice in the biryani was undercooked, the chicken had a bad smell, and the taste was unpleasant. It seemed like very low-quality oil was used in the food. Overall, the quality of both non-veg and veg items was poor. I strongly advise not to eat any non-veg dishes here. My rating: 1/10.

Tucked away on the picturesque Landour Tehri Road, Swad South Indian Restaurant invites you to embark on a delightful culinary adventure. As you step inside, the enticing aromas of freshly prepared dishes fill the air, crafted by a skilled chef dedicated to authentic South Indian flavors. The menu is a treasure trove of vibrant tastes, featuring everything from crispy dosas to aromatic biryanis that transport your palate straight to Southern India.
Very quaint little spot. Very unsuspecting. We had the cheese masala dosa and masala uttapam. Very fresh and crispy. They do not skimp on the dosa filling. The sauces were great compliments to the dishes. The vegetable thukpa was top notch. Nice and spicy but not too much.

Though they serve everything great … but their south indian food is best in town. There are not many good place for south indian food in mussorie. I even liked their momos and soups. Must try- swad special, veg momos, masala dosa, and thukpa. Ps. Their sambar is jussstt 🤌🏻🤌🏻

This is a comparatively newer South Indian joint but they also sell momos!! Their dosas and vadas are good but the sambhar can be better. Smll place and food is served hot. They also have packing service

"Absolutely love this South Indian restaurant! The flavors are authentic and take me back to the streets of Chennai. The dosas are perfectly crispy, and the sambar is just divine. Plus, the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to visit again!"

Our breakfast at the restaurant was really appetizing. The masala dosa was delicious with a perfect balance of flavors , it was 10/10 . The veg steamed momos was juicy without breaking the stuffing , it was 9/10 . We also ordered Thuppa which was 10/10. The staff was also attentive and kind. A must visit restaurant tbh ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place is a sister place of La Villa Bethany. We did not like it much other than the rooms. The place has bigger rooms than La Villa but the service is not good. The food is also just about ok. The location is also nothing great as there is no view of the mountains from here.

Exceptional food, great service. Undoubtedly the best pizzas near Mussoorie! Situated in Landour, Ivy Cafe has been baking the most delicious thin crust pizzas with top quality ingredients for decades now. Would highly recommend trying their pizzas. The fish and chips tasted yummy as well.
Karan G — Google review
The location is nice, however the good part for us ended there. We could not sit outside because of monkeys. Food was okay, we ordered a mutton burger and pepperoni pizza. Both were bland and nothing special. Lotus biscoff was nice. It was pretty crowded even for a weekday, which is why they gave us the bill twice without asking, even when we were not done with ordering and eating. Overall pretty average experience, would not revisit or recommend

The restaurant is within the premises of Fortune resort. The overall Ambience is good but taste of food that is being served especially in buffet is not that great. The service is again a big area of improvement for the property. They do have an open space where you can sit and order food alongside enjoying the nice view. My recommendation, if you are visiting the place, only opt for ala carte.

Lalit K — Google review
Being a Doonite, Mussoorie is more than just a hill station to me, it's an emotion. Every visit is a trip down memory lane, and Jaypee Hotel always offers the perfect vantage point to soak in the nostalgia. I decided to try Cafe Manor for the first time, lured by the promise of serene views and a peaceful dining experience away from Mussoorie's ever-growing chaos. Without a doubt, the scenic charm of Cafe Manor is one of its biggest highlights. Overlooking the hills, it provides a tranquil setting to enjoy a meal, making it a great spot for those looking to escape the bustling Mall Road. We ordered a mix of dishes – Roasted Vegetable Quesadilla, Mumbai masala sandwich, Thai Curry and Malai Kofta. While the flavors were decent, the experience fell short in several ways. The quesadillas took forever to arrive, we waited and waited, constantly reminding the staff, only for them to finally arrive long after we had finished our meal. The Mumbai Masala Sandwich was disappointing, with its frozen aloo tikki filling. For the price, I sincerely wish the chef had made a fresh filling instead of offering an easy option and presenting processed and frozen food. Thai Curry and Malai Kofta were decent, offering well-balanced flavors. Service was another area that left much to be desired. The waitress dropped things multiple times, adding to the overall feeling of haphazard execution. However, they redeemed themselves slightly with a complimentary brownie at the end. Despite its shortcomings, Cafe Manor has its appeal for those looking to enjoy a peaceful meal with stunning views. The serene location makes it a worthwhile visit, but the food and service need significant refinement to truly match the setting.

Waste of money….tasteless food. I saw review on goggle so ordered soya chaap and French fries online, but unfortunately, the food was not up to par. The soya chaap was dry and tasteless, while the French fries were cold and stale. Charged higher amount for 500 meter delivery distance, and the food had clearly been sitting around for a while before it was delivered. Went here during Summers with my friends. We went to Mussoorie for the 1st time and had no idea about the location. The host volunteerly called us and informed us about the directions. The right stop is to get down at library chowk. But we got down at picture place accidentally. The cabs from picture palace stop told us 700 to the location. The host Mr.Chand was so kind that he got his personal car to pick us from the stop. We got to our balcony view room which were very neat and tidy. The rooms had good ventilation and sunlight. The provided us towles and soap. Rooms have good hot water available. Washrooms are clean. This stay is close to many visit points like Kempty falls, garden company, surkanda devi temple and dalai hills. Malls road is at convenient distance from this place. Staff is very helpful and friendly. They have open terrace with beautiful view. Close your eyes and go for it. Safe for female travellers.

It was a wonderful experience staying at The Kaafal Homestay & Cafe. We visited for the first time in December 2024, and their warm hospitality made us come back again in March 2025. Honestly, it feels just like home when you're in Mussoorie. Location: The place offers breathtaking views both from the rooms and the cafe. If you're searching for a peaceful spot with stunning scenery, this is the perfect place for you. Security: If safety is a priority — especially for women travelers — you can feel completely at ease here. The owner, Dev Bhaiya, and their brilliant chef, Mohit Bhai, are incredible people. I’ve always heard people say “Pahadi log bohot hi trustworthy hote hain”, and these two are the perfect example. They stay there themselves and are available to help you 24×7. Food: Absolutely amazing! Completely home-cooked meals. Mohit Bhai truly works magic in the kitchen. If you’re following a specific diet (like gluten-free, lactose-free, or special meals for kids), they have great options. I visited with my 1.5-year-old daughter, and Mohit Bhai personally took care of her food needs. Services: Excellent. Rooms are cleaned daily, bedsheets are changed, and hygiene is well-maintained. The washrooms have geysers for hot water, and there’s a kettle in the room as well. You can order food or snacks to your room, or enjoy your meals at the cafe while soaking in the amazing views. Overall, my experience at The Kaafal was unforgettable. I’d highly recommend you visit at least once — you’ll fall in love with the place too!

Here's a rephrased version: "Lunch here was a highlight! Their freshly prepared mix Pahadi dal and steaming hot fulkas were a game-changer, especially after days of outside food. The homely taste exceeded my expectations. What made it even better was the stunning valley view, clean and open kitchen where you can see the chefs in action. The chef assured me that they use only fresh ingredients, no MSG, and no stored gravies. A must-visit if you're in the area!"
