Restaurant
Allo Pizza is a popular pizza place in Moorea, known for its wood-fired pizzas with fresh and unique ingredients. It's located near the cop shop on Cook's Bay and used to offer delivery service, although there are rumors that they are no longer allowed to deliver to the Hilton. The restaurant offers a variety of pizzas, including options like fresh tuna, capers, and anchovies or fresh tomatoes and pineapple that incorporate the delicious local fruits of Moorea.
I had a great experience at Allo Pizza! The stone oven pizza is absolutely delicious - crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and full of flavor. The prices are very fair for the quality you get, making it a great value for money. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

The Carpaccio Pizza was insanely good — like, next-level delicious. Super fresh, light, and full of flavor. It almost feels like eating a salad on a pizza, but in the best possible way. Just a heads-up: it comes with cilantro, so if you’re not into that, keep it in mind. Also, the tuna is raw, so if you’re not a fan of raw fish, this might not be your thing — but trust me, it’s worth trying. We had it with a cold beer and honestly… it was perfection. One of those “so good you forget to talk” meals. 🍕+🍺 = pure happiness.

Best Hawaiian I’ve had in a really really long time! The turnaround from ordering to getting our pizza was super quick too. The chocolate mousse was delicious too! Wish we had found sooner. A must try if you’re nearby!
Lauren E — Google review
This humble little pizza place in Moorea truly surprised us! It may look simple, but the taste is absolutely incredible. We loved the pizzas so much—especially the Carpaccio pizza with raw tuna and fresh green salad on top. Such a unique and delicious combination! We ended up visiting twice during our one-week stay—that’s how good it was. While most customers order takeout, we preferred to dine in on the stools, watching the pizzas being made fresh right in front of us. It’s a relaxed and authentic vibe that we really enjoyed. Another thing we loved: the whole team is made up of women, working hard and putting real heart into what they do. No need for reservations, just show up and enjoy. Highly recommended—a must-try while you’re in Moorea!
Aytul K — Google review
Had a wonderful Hawaiian pizza with basil and garlic sauce. The local pineapple made this very special. Service was excellent and friendly. Dining is at the outside bar Stools and table. We were fortunate to have a fan.
Keith L — Google review
great pizza, reasonable price and very quick. caramelized pineapple crepe was really delicious too but it takes 15mins (worth to wait).
Soogi C — Google review
we ordered the vegan burger and a veggie pizza, no cheese. The vegan burger was delicious. It’s a mushroom burger with a really good sauce. The pizza dough was perfect. Their fries were perfectly cooked. There are limited vegan options in Moorea so we were glad to find this spot that had tasty options.

Very good wood fired pizzas! Not too busy for lunch. They have a big selection of specialty pizzas, or build your own

If you're planning a trip to Moorea, make sure to stop by Fare La Canadienne Burger House. Nestled conveniently near popular resorts like Sofitel Moorea Kia Ora Beach Resort and Manava Moorea Beach Resort, this charming eatery is located in the Tumai Centre. Known for its delicious burgers and reasonable prices, it offers a delightful dining experience without breaking the bank.
We came for lunch on a Saturday and the place was packed! The burgers were pretty large and delicious. Poutine was great too. Nice beer, try the beer with the maple syrup.
Nicole S — Google review
Humongous portions of delicious food! One of the best burgers of my life, topped only by the best French fries ever. Seriously… EPIC and literal burgers in paradise. But really… the fries alone are worth the visit to Moorea. 🙌🏻❤️🦄
Ivana S — Google review
Awesome burgers, took my two sons there, twice in the same week - big smiles all around. Really good value for money(hard to find in Moorea) really great service…Nancy was always very accommodating and happy to help… BIG THUMBS UP..!
Sean F — Google review
An amazing experience and the feeling to be at home away from home. Special thanks to Nancy and Bruno who makes this possible. The burgers are finger licking good, the fries to die for and guys they even have Canada Dry!!! As you guess this is very popular place, best to place a reservation because it does fill up quickly. If you miss lunch, there is always dinner at 6pm! Enjoy the Quebec experience in a paradise environment!
Nancy L — Google review
This restaurant does a wonderful take on a traditional burger. I had the Quebecois burger that included lettuce, tomato, bacon, cheese, and mushrooms along with a delicious burger sauce. Everything was well seasoned, cooked to order and the staff were very kind and accommodating. The only thing to note is that they don't have more than 10-12 tables so if you don't make a reservation or go early for dinner you could be turned away. Otherwise we were very pleased with the meal, the service, and the awesome playlist on the radio 😁
Kelly M — Google review
Poutine fo'sho! Get a Canadian burger with a side salad. Come HUNGRY these burgers are legit! Save some room for a couple beers. Might as well bring your mate to help. This is a full man-sized meal.
Russ R — Google review
Four of us had dinner 3 burgers and one chicken sandwich. Food was good beer was cold. We all would have preferred a little smaller bun but that’s just a Personel preference.

Such a great find! Delicious food and the owner is so nice! I had the double bacon cheeseburger and my friends had the fish burger. Great atmosphere, and a great way to finish the night on this beautiful island. Made this Alaska boy happy and full!

Cocktail bar
Restaurant Te Honu Iti, also known as Chez Roger, is a charming eatery located in Paopao village near the fish market, north of Moorea. The restaurant offers stunning views of Cook's Bay and the jagged mountains. Despite its unassuming appearance from the road, Te Honu Iti is renowned for its delicious food and welcoming atmosphere.
Excellent food in an amazing location. Service was a little slow but the shrimp were worth the wait. Sharks swam next to us as we ate. Good for kids. Can’t wait to come back.
Jonathan H — Google review
We were warmly welcomed to the restaurant. The terrace offers a breathtaking view of Cooks Bay, and you can see sharks swimming around. The shrimp was delicious!
Márcio — Google review
Best dinner ever!! The restaurant is right on the water and during dinner, we saw an octopus, a sting ray, a nurse shark, multiple reef sharks, an eel, and a crab! There was no wait time and they were so nice and attentive! The food was better than most of the dinner restaurants we have been to on the island. Highly recommend this place!!
Haley R — Google review
Well this place turned out to be a great find - even in the rain at night last week, it was awesome to eat alongside nurse sharks and sting rays. The staff was great and they even gave us a dish of raw fish to feed our new friends! Worth the trip for sure.
Debbie L — Google review
Quaint little off the road restaurant. You almost drive past it without noticing it. We easily got a table water side. The waiter was very nice and the menu was on a blackboard. We ordered the goat cheese salad. It’s the salad photo. The goat cheese is melted on top of a piece of toasted bread. There is a nice tomato sauce on top of the goat cheese. The bread is the croutons really. It was wonderful. Then we had the filet which was done perfectly. We also had the shrimp ravioli. Those raviolis were to die for. Hand made, these three raviolis fill you up. Cooked shrimp fills the hand crimped ravioli thin almost see through pasta. Peas on the outside, cooked vegetables, with a nice salad. The dessert was to top off a perfect dinner. The banana foster is better than I have ever had, even at $600 US a night dinners. The apple pie comes out pie size flat, making it a good size amount to serve two people if you’re already almost full from the meal. Overall, 5 stars! There are only 3 fine dining restaurants in the island and this is one of them! It doesn’t look like a fancy restaurant with marble floors but this pls e is just as good. Trust me! 800+ reviews can’t be wrong!
S A — Google review
Came here at 6pm. First one & only while I was there. WARMED bread was served, which is a first to me in Polynesia thus far. The food is absolute delicious. Had the chicken & shrimp in lobster sauce with rice & veg. Best non-raw fish food I’ve had so far in Polynesia, rivaling my dinner at “2 Michelin star” Le Lotus in IC Tahiti. (Maybe even beating it; definitely in portion size & cost factors.) They deserve way more attention. Left satisfied & going to return tomorrow.
Beamer L — Google review
I ordered the scallops with peppersaus and tuna tartar. It was great🤩Cool with the reef shark that we could feed with tuna.
Camille S — Google review
This place has a gorgeous view. The chef freshly prepared our lunch. The coffee was absolutely delicious, as were the tuna burgers. We saw lemon sharks swimming in the lagoon next to our table. It was beautiful view of the bay and the towering jungle peaks. Highly recommend.

Restaurant K, nestled within the stunning Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea Beach Resort, is a must-visit for those seeking an elegant dining experience in Tahiti. With its charming wooden decor and breathtaking views of the turquoise lagoon, this intimate venue sets the perfect backdrop for special occasions. Reservations are highly recommended to secure your table. Guests can indulge in gourmet cuisine crafted from fresh local ingredients under a magnificent cathedral ceiling made of Kahaia wood.
One of the best experiences you can ever live. Not only for the place you are, but for the whole combination of location, food service, and of course the vacation time you are probably spending. The testing menu is simply excellent, they manage to guide you through all different type of flavors, accompanied with wine pairing which intensifies them while tasting this delicious dinner. Sitting on top of sand, you can hear the ocean while having a romantic dinner right at the beach. The decoration is beautiful and service is incredible. This restaurant is a must when staying at Sofitel or visiting Moorea.
Pablo B — Google review
The service and food were wonderful! We did the 7 course tasting menu, ordered a bottle of wine. We were the only people in the restaurant for about 30 min so we had a lot of attention. We enjoyed the experience, food and the service however, I’m not sure it was worth $500 USD. It was very over priced and hyped up upon check in. Although we enjoyed this, I would skip it next time!
Heather C — Google review
We had 7 course tasting menu with wine pairing, and all the dishes were just delicious! Make sure you book the dates that serve tasting menu to get the best experience. Will definitely come back for the best meal in town when we return to Moorea!
Trista W — Google review
Was it good? Yes, absolutely. Is it worth paying double what you would pay in the regular hotel restaurant? Not sure. The starter I had was indeed unique, but the main I chose (steak and gratin) was actually very similar, if not identical (which I highly suspect, since both gratins were low on salt...) to the same dish I had in the other restaurant the day before. Other than the sauce, it was almost identical. In fact, the dish I had the day before was bigger... So it was a little disappointing for me. Other than that, it was good.
May H — Google review
We had a 3 course menu without wine pairing. The ambient in the sand was absolutely amazing. Also the service was also good. Unfortunately we wanted to order a la carte which was not possible. The food was mediocre, the mahi mahi was dry and the price is very very high given all this.
David F — Google review
A beautiful setting for an exquisite dining experience. The foie gras with the Tahitian twist and the desserts were simply heavenly!
Noemie B — Google review
This was certainly the best meal we had the entire trip, and one of the best meals I have eaten. The portions are small as mentioned in some of the other reviews, but it’s a 7 course tasting menu. You’re not going to get a 16oz steak for your entree. Each of the courses were absolutely delightful, from the very beginning to the dessert. The wine pairings were also spot on. As amazing as the meal was, the service was outstanding. Very attentive, and helpful to explain each of the dishes as they were brought out. It did not feel too long at all. Once again it was a 7 course tasting menu, it’s going to take time. If you’re coming to Moorea and are looking for an outstanding dining experience, look no further.
Michael P — Google review
The atmosphere and service are excellent. However the food and wine are very disappointing. We had the five course meal and wine paring. All of my food are full of sugar. I feel like we spent over $300 and sit for 2 hours to eat 5 very mediocre desserts. The menu itself is 2 starters + 1 entree + 2 desserts. Not sure why anyone want 2 desserts on a fixed menu. Wine pairing was very random, and doesn’t match the food at all. Not to mention they are not very good wine by themselves either. It’s sad that the food and wine are bad for such a nice venue.

Restaurant
Snack Rotui in Pao Pao is the oldest restaurant on the island of Moorea, offering outdoor seating and take-away options. It's a popular spot for locals due to its affordable prices and diverse menu influenced by Chinese cuisine. Visitors recommend trying the chocolate fondant, Chinese dumplings, egg rolls, sandwiches, and homemade cakes. The place tends to sell out quickly, so it's advisable to arrive early for popular items.
My family loved coming to Snack Rotui almost daily during our trip to Moorea. Great food, desserts, people, and atmosphere!
David C — Google review
Went here to grab a quick snack. They have a bunch of pre-made meals. I grabbed the sashimi, fries and bars. It was so great. I highly recommend if you want something cheap and easy.
Michael N — Google review
This was our go to snack stand while in Mo’orea. Les poison cru avec coco ou vinegar was delicious and perfect for a day of snorkeling at Temae beach. The quiche was on point and the sandwich jambon avec fromage. I highly highly recommend this snack stand!
Noelle L — Google review
Good place to go if you like service with a sneer. Food relatively cheap but you definitely get what you pay for. And whatever you do, don't ask for a napkin!
Oneirics O — Google review
Great sandwiches - very well priced. Try Tuna sandwich - very tasty. And don't miss the different types of cakes. They are excellent. We are at Rotui several times a week (long stay at Moorea now and in 2020) and we are happy having found this place.
Monika L — Google review
We enjoyed a quick lunch here. The tuna sandwich was very good and my wife enjoyed a steamed pork bun. This place has lots of well priced options for everyone and the view can't be beat!
Neil O — Google review
We stopped here almost daily for the chocolate fondant. The Chinese dumplings sell out quickly and were worth getting there early to buy them. The egg rolls were really good and so are the homemade cakes. We’ve stopped by later in the day and almost everything was sold out. It’s a really good place and the prices are reasonable. Definitely a local’s spot. Try the chocolate fondant- dark chocolate dense cake filled with thick dark chocolate sauce.
BLS — Google review
We visited this place with Haimata's Street Food Tour. Chinese owned and influenced, it's a grab and go kinda place that locals love because of the lower prices with dumplings, egg rolls, sandwiches, fresh fish and desserts. If you're doing Moorea on a budget, this is your place. Study the menu and displays before you go to order so that you're not holding up the line. There are a decent amount of tables outdoors there but not a lot of parking.

Family restaurant
Kaylakea Moz, a small food truck located in Maharepa, is known for its incredible and high-quality food. The family-run restaurant offers outdoor seating with a shade structure and local music playing in the background. The grilled tuna steak burger with veggies and side salad is highly recommended, as well as the grilled tuna sandwiches with garlic butter. Despite being unassuming, the food truck offers great selection of Tahitian favorites at reasonable prices.
After about 10 meals here trying everything on the menu we tried the muscle. Of course the next meal was 2 plates of muscles. We shopped around for food that ate at this location most every meal that they were open. Everything cooks spectacularly and fresh and don't pass up the special sauces. Best cleanest tasting fries on the island.
David B — Google review
We loved the food so much the first night we ate here we came back the next night and the food was just as good. Don’t be intimidated by laid back vibe it’s part of the experience. You won’t be disappointed

Found this gem in a lonely planet book and so happy I made the stop. Was in between the mussels and steak but ended up going with the mussels due to the waitress’s suggestion. So happy I did - they were divine. Ordered the black pepper sauce with my fries (and accidentally another basket of fries whoops) and it was delicious! Super kind staff that spoke good English. May be back again to try the steak!

DELICIOUS!! Very affordable, & just as tasty as the restaurant at the Manava next door. I love to support local businesses, & this one definitely deserves a try! I’m just sad we didn’t have time to eat here more than once! The staff was helpful & friendly, & there’s a really chill vibe. We had 2 dinners, but had to get 3 desserts! NO REGRETS. 😎🤙🏽

Fantastic food at better prices than almost anywhere. The staff are absolutely terrific. Food was fast and larger than expected portions. The tuna carpacio was in a delicious curry? Oil. It went well with the rice. The kebads were cheap and delicious. Lots of drink choices but no alcohol, they were fine with us bring some beers we had in a cooler box. Updated menu included
Hendri E — Google review
Just left this place, which came by recommendation by the concierge at our resort. OMG. Don’t pass this up if you are in Moorea. DELICIOUS and probably 1/3 or the price you would pay in the resort, maybe less. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Not fancy so no need to dress up, this is real local food truck vibes.
Kristina T — Google review
10/10 recommend! This little hidden gem is located right next to the Manava Resort. The prices were fair and the food was phenomenal. My husband ordered the fresh tuna with fries, the sauce on the side was so tasty! I ordered the bbq chicken kabob and a side of rice. Everything was delicious and fresh we’ll be coming back a few times on our trip to enjoy.

Nestled in the heart of Maharepa, Moorea, Snack Didier is a delightful eatery that captures the essence of local cuisine. This charming spot offers a variety of classic dishes in a laid-back atmosphere, making it an ideal choice for lunch or dinner. Diners rave about the poisson cru, which is celebrated for its incredible flavor and freshness. The generous portions ensure you leave satisfied without breaking the bank.
Great dining spot for authentic Moo'rea and Chinese inspired food. The noodle dishes are delicious, and the fish is so fresh and uniquely seasoned. Service is quick also and friendly. Prices are on the cheaper end too. Highly recommend for authentic lunch or dinner here!

Great lunch spot. Tuna tartar amazing, breadfruit chip next level. With a cold beer is cool to do. A must in moorea

Had the Poisson Cru here 4 years ago during my wife and I’s honeymoon and it was so good I still think about it. I’ve been to over 30 countries and this is one of my favorite dishes I’ve had in all of our travels.
Noah P — Google review
This place is amazing. To the naked eye it doesn’t look like much but the food is insanely good and at a decent price as well. The poisson cru is so delicious. The portions are great and even the steak was amazing, and that’s coming from an American that can eat a lot of food. Highly recommend
Nathan M — Google review
Good service, mediocre entrees. Very good side salad and french fries - great, house-made dressing for the salad. My wife liked the vegetarian egg rolls. The poison cru was average as was the sashimi and tuna tartar (didn't strike me as that fresh). Portions are generous. The patio is covered, but, needs some fans to move the air around. For a local, the winter (mid-June) weather may seem pleasant, but, for visitors, some airflow (fans) would help cool things off when the winds are calm. They do have one fan, but, not enough to service the entire patio. Had to keep swatting the occasional fly away - something we didn't contend with at an across the street competitor. Maybe a fan would help keep the flies at bay. Accepts credit cards.
David T — Google review
Great place to take your lunch (closed for dinner). Great food, great service.

Very well priced! Fish didn't taste extremely fresh; I wouldn't be surprised if it was frozen. I ordered the duo with poisson Cru and steak. The steak was thin and tasted cheap and the Poisson Cru Chinois was lacking. Service was superb.

Japanese restaurant
Moorea Beach Cafe by Bruno Jamais offers an upscale dining experience with breathtaking sunset views. The restaurant is located right on the lagoon, providing endless sea views and stunning sunsets. The Veuve Cliquot champagne logo can be seen on the bright orange umbrellas, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. It's within walking distance from Hotel Manava Moorea and a small outdoor shopping center in Maharepa district.
Best decision ever to eat here tonight. We’re staying at a 5 star resort and while the food is good, this food blew it out of the water. The sushi and crispy rice sushi were phenomenal. The pork belly on cabbage was also fantastic. This chef really excels in his field. I wish he had more days in town to come try more of his food. The service was also wonderful. I have a food allergy which they handled so carefully. It was also pouring rain yet still crowded with customers, clearly a well known place for its excellent food. The setting is right on the water and has great views which I’m sure are even nicer when it’s not pouring rain though we still loved it!:) The chef’s daughter was helping us too and was so friendly and kind. Highly recommend this place.
Hallie C — Google review
The Moorea Beach Café is an absolute gem. The setting and views are nothing short of incredible — the perfect spot to watch the sunset while enjoying dinner with your toes in the sand and the ocean lapping at your feet. The food and service are exceptional, and Bruno, the owner, makes the experience even more special with his warm, welcoming personality. The crispy sushi was truly out of this world (so good I had to come back just to have it again!), and the fresh focaccia bread was another favorite. The Veuve Clicquot Champagne theme throughout the café creates a fun, celebratory vibe that makes every visit feel special.
Maria S — Google review
My partner and I had a fabulous experience dining at Moorea Beach Cafe by Mr. Bruno Jamais. We started with a Veuve Cliquot toast while watching a beautiful sunset at a lovely table by the water. Each course was delicious - especially the foie gras sushi which was so fabulous, we ordered it twice!! We also enjoyed Greek salad, garlic bread, and Hawaiian pizza. The piece de la resistance - classic crème brûlée and espresso! I strongly recommend this charming cafe as a “must” visit on Moorea. It was also a pleasure to meet the incomparable Bruno Jamais - the visionary behind it all!

RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE – RUINED OUR LAST NIGHT IN MOOREA The view might be nice, but everything else was an absolute nightmare. My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and were immediately swarmed by bugs — crawling on our legs, into our shirts, and even into our food and drinks. No matter how much we swatted them away, they kept coming. We literally had bugs in our food and water cups. The manager offered to move us to a different table, but the whole restaurant was infested — mosquitoes and termites everywhere. By then, our food and drinks were already contaminated. His excuse? “It happens all over the island” and “it’ll end in 5 minutes.” It went on much longer, and instead of showing any understanding, he was dismissive and extremely disrespectful. When we explained we didn’t want to pay for food full of bugs that we couldn’t even eat, he ignored us. He offered a free dessert instead, but by that point, we just wanted to leave. To make matters worse, the nice table of three next to us tried to cheer us up and even offered to cover our drinks. But when the bill came, the manager charged us for EVERYTHING — including the drinks the other table had already put on their check. When I tried to reason with him, he doubled down, saying we were “the only ones complaining” and continued to make rude comments. Meanwhile, we saw multiple families unable to sit down because of how bad the bugs were, and several people walked out. Even when I finally decided to just pay to end the situation, he continued making disrespectful comments toward us while I was telling him, “just let me pay.” In the end, I just paid to avoid further confrontation and plan to dispute the charge with my hotel/credit card. What was supposed to be a special last night of our honeymoon was completely ruined by this awful experience. Do yourself a favor — RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. The owner is rude, the restaurant is bug-infested, and you’ll end up paying full price for food and drinks that you can’t even consume.
Jeff — Google review
The most beautiful beach cafe I have ever been to in my entire life. The views here were mind-blowing. Very peaceful setting with friendly staff. We didn't have long in Mo'orea so we just took a taxi here (from the ferry port) with some friends and spent about an hour enjoying the view, with a lovely cold drink. I cannot rate the food because we didn't eat here.

Beautiful view and vibes. Bruno is the man! Merci/Maruru to him and all the staff! Epic portions and the sashimi was too notch. 🥂🤙🏻🌴

We were in Moorea for a week and ended up at this restaurant 3 times, we enjoyed it that much. We spent our last night there with our group of 8 and everyone raved about it and said it was the best restaurant they had been to on the island. The setting is perfect where you can watch a sunset while you dine or listen to the lapping of the water on the shore. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. We did encounter the bugs but they were gone by 6:45pm as the owner said they would be and they occurred the day previously at another restaurant.. of 3 visits they only appeared once and from talking to all the locals, it is an inexplicable act of nature. If the bugs are out, dine later in the evening or find an indoor restaurant. However MBC is not to be missed!
Monica H — Google review
Don’t pay any attention to any of the negative reviews, we almost didn’t go because of them but we are so glad we went. This is the only spot on the island that you can sit and dine right on the waters edge, you have 180 degree water view and it is so amazing. The food and drinks are next level and the staff and owner are super friendly and attentive. We sat there for 2 hrs just enjoying and relaxing watching the view. We did other restaurants but none have a view, atmosphere, food, or service even close to this. Don’t miss out on this place!!

The Manuia Grill is a great place to enjoy Hawaiian barbecue and Polynesian cuisine. The food is excellent, the portions are good, and the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is located across the street from Manava Resort, so it's perfect for tourists who want to try some great food without leaving the resort area.
This was our favorite restaurant in Moorea! 🍽️ great quality local food, big portions and friendly staff make this place a must-visit. The ceviche was fresh and the grilled meat was tasty. We came here twice during our visit and very affordable too.
Alberto A — Google review
We’re visiting from the US and staying across the street at Manava. We’ve come here two nights in a row. Both night I got the grilled fish and green beans with teriyaki sauce. My husband got the chicken, rice, and green beans. The food was SO GOOD! It hit the spot after a long day in the sun. The fish was tender and fresh, and the chicken was also tender and flavorful. 10/10 would recommend.
Megan E — Google review
What a great find. Well priced excellent food and great service in a relaxed setting. Poisson cru was excellent and among other things the desert was great. Definitely back there again.
Dave H — Google review
This place really surprised me. Our island excursion tour brought us here for lunch and the food was really good. The portions are huge, and come to think of it, I think all of the patrons were tourists. Regardless, we had a fantastic lunch and enjoyed that tuna ceviche more than anywhere else we tried it prior.

Delicious seafood skewers and steak. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful place, comfy. Also the food is amazing
Valeria N — Google review
We had dinner here after seeing the amazing reviews. We were very happy until the food arrived. We ordered the fish and beef skewers and the chicken with rice, green beans, and salad on the side. The plate was beautiful. The only problem is that all the meat was undercooked, even the chicken. The beef and fish were almost raw. I still gave this place 4 stars because the atmosphere is amazing, and the service is super friendly. Maybe we were unlucky with the food.
Carlos M — Google review
Conveniently located across the road near Manava Resort. The grill looks and tastes excellent, definitely get the BBQ sauce. I wish I could give it 5 stars but unfortunately only the fish meat was comestibile, the beef meat was not: it was very gummy, couldn't chew it at all, had to spit all of it regardless of how many times I tried to eat it. The service is OK and pretty fast. Accepts both cash and card

Chinese restaurant
Golden Lake Restaurant is a nondescript building that surprises visitors with its delicious Chinese cuisine. With an extensive menu offering numerous options, it's considered one of the best Chinese restaurants on the island. The food is flavorful and reasonably priced, with large portions ensuring a satisfying dining experience. English-speaking staff provide efficient service, and during peak times, reservations are recommended. Additionally, the restaurant offers a shuttle service to some hotels and allows customers to take away leftovers in their own containers to reduce waste.
Delicious food. I’m writing this review based on the snack area attached to the restaurant. We returned many times during our time in Moorea. I highly recommend the egg rolls (nems), fried wontons, warm baguette sandwiches and especially one of the many desserts. There is also a sit down restaurant serving Chinese food. We ate inside before but preferred the carry out convenience. A popular place for locals!
BLS — Google review
Amazing!! Don’t listen to the bad reviews. Beautiful food. Ordered lots of different dishes, noodles, prawns and duck, the cocktails and drinks are yummy and affordable!!! Highly recommend!! Lots of locals eat here too. Thank you for awesome Chinese and fantastic service.

Great place to get Chinese food. Stopped by for lunch after a morning at the beach. Had 2 chicken dishes-cashew chicken and broccoli chicken…were delicious-hot and flavorful. We had enough leftover for dinner. Service was excellent!
Chris — Google review
Overall pretty good Chinese food, but there are limited options on the island, maybe the only authentic Chinese restaurant on the island. The menu is extensive, there's so many options you will find something you like. Most dishes don't come with rice, you have to order a side of rice which at the time of this writing was 250 xpf or roughly $2.50 USD. We ate here Christmas Day! We got the roast duck and the braised pork. Both were really tasty, maybe a little heavy on the salt content however. I wish the roast duck was left crispy and the sauce was on the side. Instead the duck was swimming in the duck sauce (which is delicious by the way) but it also ensured there was no crispy skin or crispiness to any of the duck. Prices are reasonable and the dining room is huge. Lost a star because of the lack of rice with dishes and also because the roast duck was not crispy. Staff was very nice, thank you.
Carl T — Google review
Fantastic Chinese food, regardless of what country you are from. Huge plates, plan to share any one you get with 2-3 people. Pineapple pork and chow mien were the big winners.

Nestled within the stunning Sofitel Hotel, Pure is a culinary gem that offers an exquisite blend of local and international flavors. With breathtaking views of the lagoon from its expansive outdoor deck, this restaurant creates a perfect backdrop for al fresco dining. Guests can indulge in themed buffets several times a week while enjoying live entertainment every evening. Breakfast at Pure is a delightful experience with options ranging from fresh omelets to traditional Poisson Cru, ensuring there's something for everyone.
We enjoyed a lovely breakfast here while staying in our bungalow. One of the best fresh buffets with island fruit, fresh pancakes, fresh juices, breakfast meats and yogurts. We also had dinner here the night before and their fish was perfection! It is moderate-high priced depending on what you plan to order. The views are spectacular so get your reservations for any meal early and enjoy a relaxing experience.
Candace S — Google review
Restaurant over looking the water inside of Sofitel hotel. This is where the breakfast buffet is every morning as well as lunch and dinner options during the day. The view is paradise. We stayed here for a few nights and didn’t leave the resort so we dined here often. The service is lacking and could be improved for such an expensive hotel. The breakfast buffet was exactly the same food everyday. They serve breakfast from 6a-10a. Be sure to show up before 9:15a or the hot food will be gone and it is never replenished even though breakfast is supposed to be served until 10a. Polynesian buffet dinner and dance was fun and the food was delicious! Don’t skip this. On our last night we were sat at a table with only one menu to share because they ran out, and it took someone 10-15 min to even greet us. Our food came out before our drinks which is less than ideal as well. If you don’t want to leave the resort this restaurant will do, but I recommend maybe trying something outside of the resort for a better experience. Just keep in mind that taxis are NOT cheap on the island and they only accept cash. The resort does not have an ATM either.
Heather C — Google review
We had complementary breakfast at the Pure Restaurant and they had variety of options from vegetarian to meats. They also had their traditional cuisine Poisson Cru which tasted yum(had those for all the days during our stay)! For one of our lunches and dinner we had a pizza and burger they tasted really good too! Would definitely recommend to try out this place. The service is amazing especially Tatiana(the manager), takes care of people very well and is friendly to everyone. She makes all our food dietary needs are met! They have multiple options for coffee and tea and can also make any custom ones. They also have a stall for hot breakfast like omelette n pancakes! Last but not the least the location of the restaurant with the view is spectacular!

Let me start by saying that we did not stay at this resort while on Moorea but we ate there multiple times because it was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and willing to give us reservations for breakfast and dinner on various days. The scenery, atmosphere, food and the service were exceptional. It is more expensive than other restaurants on the island but you get what you pay for. The breakfast buffet is the best on the island with a great selection of cold and hot options (the pastries are my favorite). The dinner was excellent as well. We had the vegetarian noodle salad, fish of the day, shrimp penne and the kids fish. All with great flavor. Shout out to Torea, he gave us the best service on the island! We also ate there for the Polynesian dinner. Great entertainment and buffet selection.

Staff is overworked or needs a better manager to handle all the tables. The food is OK, but bland. Overall I just feel like they need a deeper spice rack.

KE'IKI is a top restaurant in Moorea, located near Hotel Manava Beach Resort. The menu offers a variety of delicious options that change daily. Visitors rave about the exceptional dining experience, from the welcoming ambiance to the attentive service. Guests particularly enjoyed dishes like Poisson Cru and specialties such as Mahi Mahi in puff pastry and flank steak with jus and French fries. While some found the Merlin steak overcooked, others praised it along with the garlic rice.
Amazing!!! We popped in for lunch and loved this place. Dining is in a private garden at the rear of a property, pretty and tranquil. The food they’re producing is superb! The fresh grilled fish was beautiful (a special) as was the tuna tartare (another special). Oddly, one of the other highlights was the garlic bread - a massive portion to share and, honestly, probably the best garlic bread we’ve ever had (again, it may have been a special so check it’s still being served). Don’t miss this place if you’re in Moorea.
Andy S — Google review
What a great place for dinner. Everything was outstanding and the food was delicious. The raw fish was amazing and so was the crispy pork and then the desert was next level. Portions are big and I probably ate too much but I am NOT complaining at all ❤️. The prices were also very reasonable. We will go back again.
Dave H — Google review
Popular spot - would recommend getting a reservation. Showed up when it opened with no wait though. Food and drinks were immaculate. We enjoyed this place so much we ate here twice. Romantic ambiance - great for dates
Katrina G — Google review
For Moorea this place rocks. The chef is audacious, trying complicated dishes not usual for Tahiti. The decor is decent, a repurposed home with minimal detail. Service was ok, my 2 cents would be to educate the serving staff as far as the menu goes. I had the Vol-au-vent, not the simplest of dishes, high marks for the veggies and condiments, the filling was delicious, but the pastry was lacking. The souris d’agneau was nice. All in all, a very good choice for Moorea, beats 99% of Hotel food for sure.
Alexander C — Google review
Only about 2 mins walk from the Manava Hôtel. They also have a parking lot at the front. The food was lovely, I really craved for some mahi mahi fish since we landed in French Polynesia. And this restaurant did not disappoint. Curry tuna tartare for starter, very subtle Island curry just to elevate the tartare with some spice. Mahi mahi main was delicious, the fish was moist and tasty. To finish it up, profiteroles with chantilly and chocolat, it was melting as we ate in the tropical heat and was so good. Yummy, mau'uruuru roa!

We loved this restaurant, the food specials are top , we ate there 2 nights in a row , on the second night they have had also a live music . The service is very attentive, they bring also little entrée on the house . The setting next to the pool and big projections of Moorea islands on screens . Very nice atmosphere . It’s good to come early around 18h , limited parking space .

We enjoyed the Pizza's, even though they are on the higher end of the pricepoint. I will say that arriving there for lunch, it smelled like cigars, with the kitchen staff smoking. I really hope that she washed her hands before making our pizza. Also when you deliver the cutlery, you dont touch the part people have to eat with, just an advice.

Great live music and lively customer crowd. The resident animals (cats) were friendly too. The scene was great. The table management and service were really spotty and disorganized. Lack of synchronization of delivery of food and drinks, seating assignment, and communication between bar and order/register staff and servers working the floor. It can be improved, but they need organizational structure and management tools. A TMS would help.
Ahsan A — Google review
The food was very good, but when the server rang us up for 186000CFP when our meal was only 136000. This place was a delicious and beautiful place to eat!!! I would recommend coming here for a delicious meal and great view. I give it four stars rather than 5 because the service was challenging. We ended up eating four courses rather than two because of the way the orders were taken. They were also out of many key menu items. The Caesar salad is so good! The chicken burger was delicious. The pumpkin hummus was very heavy on pumpkin. The assortment of fresh cheeses was also great.

Favorite restaurant on the island. We are pretty sure the chef was talking bad about us in French, but food was delicious nonetheless. Best burger we had the whole trip, and the poke tuna bowl was beautiful with fresh ingredients to pair that were just as delicious. Potato triangles with burger were somehow to die for too. Tried to come back here but it wasn’t open before we left :(

This place was amazing. My brother and I happened to stop here while cycling the island and it was the best choice we made the whole trip. I DREAM of the burger and salad that I had and have tried to recreate the meal several times, to no avail. I'm pretty sure I would have been happy with whatever was put in front of me--everything we tried was so delicious. All simple ingredients but taken to a whole other level. I'd go back to the island just to eat here. Food, Service, Atmosphere - all 5 stars!

What a hidden gem! Best food on the island by far. Everything was so fresh! We had the steak taco with salad & potatoes, a burger and the tuna taco. The Chef is so humble, you can tell he just loves to cook and decides what that will be on any given day! We found it on our last day, if we had found it on our first it’s the only place we needed! Delicious!

I wish we had found out about this restaurant sooner, the food was better than most of Moorea. The ingredients just taste fresher and the dishes are simply more elevated. You can definitely taste the difference. Small and a bit hard to see off the road, but there is a small parking lot. Takes cash only. The burger was very good. And the poke bowl was equally delicious and fresh. Would definitely recommend.

Grand!! Fantastic food. Lovely cook personality. Our group of four had Budhi bowls with grilled tuna and the special of sage and pork seasoned lentils with 3 sausages. Delicious!! Donc c'est le bazar, chacun prend des plats et ne sait pas à quelle table ils sont destinés. Bon enfin organisation du service à revoir mais bravo au cuisinier.

Nestled along a dirt road, Motu Grill is a hidden gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. With its charming outdoor backyard setting, it’s the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The menu boasts delightful options like their renowned tuna steak, which is not to be missed! Diners rave about the homemade fries that are perfectly crunchy and complement any meal beautifully.
I can recommend, they cook deliciously, the portions are large, we liked the fish dishes more than in other places where we ate before. $110 for a family of 4 with desserts. Of the minor minuses: we waited a long time for them to cook from 30-45 minutes, the parking is small, there was no place to park. The staff is caring and friendly, there were no language difficulties.

Amazing place near the golf lodge and several beachfront Air B&B (and other rental house) options. It’s also just across the road and fence from the airport. The fish of the day was amazing, the service was fantastic, there was plenty of parking for cars, and the cocktails were amazing! I’ll definitely come again, and I’d love to bring more friends next time. There were three tables of 8 while I was there., and at least 4-6 tables of 2-4 people — plenty of room for big groups.

Came here for lunch and this was one of my favorite meals on the island. The food was super hot and fresh and was really reasonably priced. Probably the best deal we got for food while we were there. And honorable mention for them allowing adults to order off the kids menu because sometimes I just want chicken nuggets and that should be allowed. But given I had frozen chicken nuggets from the store the night before, I opted for the grilled chicken and it was very good and was enough to actually leave me feeling full. Husband got a burger and also enjoyed it.

The grill chicken was delicious. The cheeseburger had great taste and seasoning. The lady who took our order was very fast and efficient. I recommend any day.

Went for dinner here and had an incredible experience! We started with a couple of cocktails which our server tailor made to be less sweet just because we inquired briefly about the sweetness of another cocktail. For our dinner, we had the tuna sashimi and the breaded shrimp with sides of fries and salad. The portions were incredibly generous, the shrimp was cooked well and not too greasy and the tuna sashimi was the freshest and softest I’ve ever had. Overall one of the best meals we’ve had on the island, would highly recommend stopping by!

Had a grilled fish for lunch and oh my God it was the best meal I've had during this vacation (also stayed in Bora Bora for five days). The service was also very good, I'd love to come back again!

Found this restaurant on google not knowing what to expect. We had the catch of day and it was delicious!! French fries were cooked to perfection. Food was served really hot which we loved. The best part was the service! Josie was awesome and the chef was Coulette. We did it get a chance to take pictures of the food as we devoured it I’m glad we found this restaurant. If we ever come back to Moorea, we’ll definitely do a pit stop here.

Takeout Restaurant
Roulotte le Spot 64 in Moorea is a delightful food truck experience that you simply can't miss during your visit. Nestled right by the stunning Temae Beach, this spot offers an array of fresh and delicious meals, including mouthwatering tuna poke bowls, savory chicken dishes, and delectable seafood options. The atmosphere feels more like a cozy restaurant than a typical food truck, with welcoming service and generous portions that leave you satisfied without breaking the bank.
Stayed at the Sofitel and this was a short walk down the beach. Really fresh tasty food. Went two times during our stay and got a tuna poke bowl both times. They also have chicken and burritos as well as seafood and crepes. They are cash only and most meals cost around 2000 xpf. There is parking in the area as well.

The food is wonderful!! But they need to be more prepared. They ran out of food early... But when it's there it is definitely worth it!!

The Yh had nice poke bowls, the tacos not great ! Service is a bit slow as there are only two of them - they are growing business they need more hands As this place has great potential
LaToya C — Google review
The food and service was delicious and the location cannot be beat. I love the little shady spot right in front of the ocean. The food was fresh and delicious and carefully prepared. I felt a warm welcome. Somehow this felt more like a restaurant experience than a food truck. And the best part was that I got to go snorkeling right after.

Tried this place a few times during our trip. The first time was great - no issues and we loved it! The second time, we arrived at 3 pm and the cook (assuming the owner) was incredibly rude because he had to turn the grill back on (they close at 4). Decided to give it one last shot, and this time we found a hair in one of our burritos and waited an hour for our food (while there was a large order placed ahead of us which we totally understand but then he filled the order of those who ordered after us and gave them a free burrito for their wait, but made rude comments to us about hoping we aren’t too hungry - oh and this was for my very visibly pregnant wife).

What's not to love about a beach burrito. Friendly food truck with a lot of great options, it's hard to choose what to get.

Walked along the beach from the Sofitel, took about 5 minutes. Owner was nice and food was fantastic. Huge portions and the prices were pretty standard for a meal $10+$17usd. Tons of options from Poke bowls, burgers, and hot sandwiches.

AMAZING find on our walk outside the Sofitel grounds. This has been the BEST food we have had in all of French Polynesia. Seafood was fresh, cooked perfectly and very tasty! Thank you for a memorable lunch :)

Pakulani is a charming restaurant located within walking distance from the resort. Despite potential language barriers, the friendly staff and delicious food made for a delightful dining experience. The fish dish was particularly outstanding, and the overall service was excellent. This is definitely a place worth revisiting for its great food and welcoming atmosphere.
My wife and I walked over from our resort to get something to eat and we're very glad we did. We don't speak any French and the employee didn't speak much English but that wasnt a problem. We didn't really know what we ordered but we knew it was fish. And boy was fish delicious!! Very nice service and delicious fish! Would go back again!

Restaurant
The restaurant Restaurant Ocean Faa'a offers generously portioned and delectable meals. Despite the busy atmosphere resulting in slightly slow service, its convenient location just a short 4-minute walk from the airport makes it an ideal choice for those waiting for their flights. The chow mein dish is abundant with chicken and vegetables, while the delicious sweet and sour pork incorporates pineapple. This establishment is highly recommended over the limited options available within the airport premises.
Just a short walk from Tahiti Airport. We had fried rice and lemon fried chicken. Food is great, I guess especially we have been in French Polynesian for the last week and beginning to miss chinese food. Portion is huge. Two of us could not finish the food. Would recommend.
Yorokobi H — Google review
Huge portions, delicious food. They seem to be very busy so service is a bit slow. Only 4 minute walk from the airport so very convenient if you're waiting for your flight. The chow mein had lots of chicken and veggies, and the sweet and sour pork with pineapple was delicious. Definitely recommend this place instead of the limited options at the airport.

While traveling from the South Seas, we had a 2 day layover on Papeete, Tahiti, this restaurant was the only place to eat on a Saturday, there were other eateries at the airport but it’s pretty much takeaways and we wanted to sit down for a warm meal. We checked out the ratings and it’s a 4.0! This is a Chinese restaurant with French speaking Chinese! We had hoped for a great meal but it was just average, very different from San Francisco Chinese restaurants, the food was colorless and not tasty at all! Very expensive when you have to pay in Polynesian francs! This place isn’t horrible but will suffice in a pinch!
Elisabeth S — Google review
Takeaway /ToGo opens at 5pm. Inside dinner service starts at 6pm. We found the service to be amazing, but the food lacked any flavor. To me, all the dishes tasted exactly the same.
Krista W — Google review
It’s a Chinese dining hall, so don’t expect a fancy atmosphere, but the food is outstanding and very authentic Mainland Chinese. My wife had to travel to China often for business and got really frustrated with the US American so called “Chinese food”, once she experienced authentic Chinese food. At Ocean Faa’a she ate every last morsel of chicken and beef. We had the Cashew Chicken and the Chili beef. The meat was very tender and melted on the tongue. The sauces were super tasty with a good amount of local vegetables. Highly recommended if you have a stop-over in Papeete. Walkable from the Airport Motel and the airport…
Olaf W — Google review
Salt and pepper squid is amazing! They open for take out at 5 PM in the back of the restaurant.
Alex Y — Google review
Good food but terrible ambience. As other reviewers have noted, its proximity to the airport makes it convenient, and the food quality is actually quite good, but there is nothing at all attractive about the decor, restaurant location and layout. I wouldn't make an effort to visit this restaurant if you are staying in Tahiti, but as a walk from the airport it may be justified.
Karl H — Google review
We have been to this restaurant many times during our two visits so far to Tahiti, and we loved it every time! Good food, very authentically Chinese, fresh everything. Good service. We were staying at the nearby intercontinental hotel. We asked the front desk for recommendations for good local seafood; their recommendations had already been spot on, but I still felt skeptical like, I didn’t come to Tahiti for Chinese food! What a pleasant surprise. We couldn’t wait to go back.

One bite and you’ll see why this is so popular. Only open two months and so many five star reviews. We had the signature poke and a cheeseburger. Delicious! Brought the leftovers back to our AirBnB.

Best food I’ve had my entire vacation, my whole table ordered different meals and every single plate was cleared. The menu has so many options, and I don’t think you could go wrong with any of them. Not to mention, the dessert was to die for. The service was excellent and the staff was so kind. I hope this place gets the success and recognition it deserves. So very good!

Tried this new restaurant for lunch. More upscale than most food trucks. Quite a bit of seating with real chairs, not stools. Even has a washroom. Great food. Shout out to the poke.

A wonderful boutique eatery with great food! This is a great place to eat. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is very special. We started our meal with a tuna appetizer and some beer. For our main dish, we had lobster in garlic butter sauce. It was very tasty. This unique eatery feels like you are eating in a rainforest. There are many beautiful tropical plants all around you. It's a magical place to sit and eat. The chairs were comfortable, and everything felt like home. For dessert, we had a crepe with coconut ice cream, chocolate sauce, and almond flakes. It was a perfect ending to our meal. I highly recommend this cozy, special place!
