"Dining at Karavalli in Bangalore felt like daylight looting. The food was below average, yet the prices were absurd—₹1700 for a chicken fry starter, ₹1300 for Achinga Mezhukku, and over ₹200 for a single appam that usually costs just ₹10–20. I’ve seen many restaurants and cafés in Bangalore that are far more worthy, with better food and ambience. Here, they only played traditional flute music throughout—maybe that’s what cost so high and expensive 😂. Honestly, I don’t understand why people waste their hard-earned money on such places that offer nothing worthwhile." I think the menu card shown here is old one. New menu card will make you shocked. Prices are unjustifiable for the food, service and ambience provided. If you need to taste kerala food, there are tons of restaurants to choose from. (Eg. Chef pilla restraunt. which itself is expensive yet atleast justifiable). I don't understand how some people give high ratings. I will never reccomend this restraunt. If you want to waste money simply come here.

We had a meal for 2 at the Karavalli, Taj Residency Road, Bengaluru. Served in a great ambience with lovely carnatic music, water falls in the background and in the open. We had the Head Chef Ramachandran who has been with the property for 20+ years explaining the ingredients used and the way it is made to some great service by Shanti who was always cheerful, and delivered outstanding service. Overall a very memorable experience.

We had an excellent birthday lunch at Karavalli. The restaurant has beautiful interiors and atmosphere. Food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable! Special thanks to Anthony, Shyin and Shanti who made are meal incredibly memorable!

1. Nice ambience. 2. Food was good, although spicier than normal. The bad part is, waiters do not how to serve! The main course was ordered and was served in parts, with dishes first and bread with such a delay that the food turned cold! 3. It rained a bit, which was pleasant but these guys needed to prepare a bit better for the present condition. 4. Perhaps I should have come with a booking. Although many seats were not with a "Reserved" placard, the lady made I wait for several minutes to check the availability of seats. Looked like she wasn't well informed of the bookings. Will I come again? Maybe, but more precise instructions to the waiters. Seriously, they badly need some basic training.

I was quite disappointed with the overall quality of food during my visit. The fish, chicken, and mutton served did not feel fresh — it seemed like frozen meat that had simply been heated and plated. For the price being charged, I expected far better quality and taste. Unfortunately, the food was not worth the amount paid. The pricing is excessively high considering the standard of items served. Would not recommend based on this experience.

Ordered malabar prawn fry, kerala fish fry. Prawn fry on the sweetest side, fish fry was awesome. Mangalore fish curry below par. Very bad. Too bland and raw fish smell was coming. I won't recommend anyone for fish food to karavali.

Went there due to it being 2nd top restaurant on the list of TripAdvisor for Bangalore and was not disappointed. I was early so I was the only one there, and the staff were super polite and I went with the dishes they recommend and they were all fantastic! And the hotel surroundings are just beautiful!

We had a great experience dining here recently. The daal ki chat was amazing, and as was chicken and prawn kebabs. The desserts especially rabri with boondi was quite good. They have a wide range of innovative cocktails and mocktails, which we could try few of. The whiskey cocktails were amazing. Finally, it has the iconic Taj service which was consistent with what you'd expect from only Taj :)

Not going to say anything about the food except 1) Go to Loya; you won’t be disappointed. 2) Don’t go if you are a boring the dal makhni/ butter chicken sort of person 🤣. Food blew me away especially the lamb in the roasted walnut shell gravy. Unusual delicious flavours. Excellent service. The mukhwas at the end was an unusual concept. Taj west end is lovely and Loya is a beautiful setting.

While the staff was prompt and available to assist, they seemed to lack basic training — one even came from behind unexpectedly to pour water, and similar lapses in serving etiquette were noticed. Disappointed with the overall experience, especially given the brand’s reputation.

We visited Rim Naam for our anniversary dinner. The ambiance was lovely and made for a pleasant evening. We started with their signature veg platter, which was decent but didn’t quite deliver the “WOW” we were expecting in terms of flavor. The mocktails, however, were refreshing and enjoyable. For the main course, we had the red curry and Pad Thai noodles—both part of their signature offerings. While the presentation was nice, the taste was underwhelming, especially the red curry, which we've had better versions of at other places. It felt quite average considering the fine-dining expectations. We ended the meal with the Rim Naam special Mandarin dessert. Visually, it was stunning, but again, the taste didn’t quite match up. Overall, while the setting and service were pleasant, the food didn’t quite feel 5-star or memorable in terms of flavor. We were hoping for more standout dishes and a stronger Thai flavor profile.

Visited Rim Naam for my brother’s anniversary dinner. The ambience and atmosphere were outstanding , the open air setting by the water, warm lighting, and serene vibe truly elevate the experience. However, while the presentation was elegant, the overall food taste was quite average and didn’t fully meet the expectations one has from a fine-dining restaurant in a 5-star hotel. The standout highlight of the meal was the dessert — The Mandarin ,beautifully crafted and delicious, definitely worth trying. Overall, Rim Naam impresses with its ambience, service, and dessert options, but the main course flavours could use more refinement to match the setting.

For us the most beautiful restaurant in Bengaluru. The staff is welcoming and taking care of you. Stanzin was very nice with us. The food is delicious, it reminds us of Thailand. You want to eat everything on the menu. We highly recommend it!

Delicious food, great service and calming atmosphere. We ordered grilled tiger prawns and stir fry seafood. The prawns and rest of the seafood was perfectly cooked to give a soft juicy experience. Himani and the entire staff there were extremely welcoming and attentive. The soft oriental music added charm to the soothing ambience. To top it off, Himani offered Thapthim krop on the house. It was indeed one of the best tasting Thai desserts I have had. I’d highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for exquisite Thai food coupled with equally exquisite dining experience.

The ambience in the evening is quite pleasant . Last evening there were too many mosquitoes . We had great service from Salini, Manthan and team We had the Rayong and Touch of Thailand Cocktails. The Duck salad with the Orange Chilli Spicing was tasty as was the Meat Platter. Amongst the complimentary Rice wafers and Prawn Wafers , Rice wafers was underwhelming and the prawn wafers was a clear winner 🏆 For the dessert we have the Chilli lemon desert paired with a tamarind ice cream flavour unique. Great service overall and much better than the food

We dined here three weeks ago as a large group. The food was delicious. Service was nice. Feedback regarding food and service were promptly addressed, we truly appreciate that. We loved the ambience. But one major let down was that the entire family became sick after dining here, we are suspecting the water to be the reason (We chose in-house water which is supposed to be filtered).

Very beautiful ambience, located on the 17th floor, has both an inside seating arrangement and an outside rooftop lounge setting. My preference will always be the rooftop setting. The food is excellent, especially the Nalli Nihari is to kill for. The desserts are brilliant as well. Hats off to Chef Mr. Farman Ali for the supremely delectable food. This place offers luxury dining in every sense. The experience starts from the locality of Bhartiya City to The Leela palace hotel to the 17th floor where yhe restaurant is. They offer open air plus closed door dining option. The experience includes stunning panoramic view, great staffs who would take care of their guests, dining set-up (slow music in the backdrop) and most importantly authentic food delicacies. We chose this restaurant for our wedding anniversary this year. The environment is very comfortable, the service attitude is very good, and the food is very satisfactory. It is very suitable for family dinners. Most of us ordered the restaurant's specialties and desserts. Finally, A cake was given to us to celebrate. We had a pleasant and memorable dinner.

Visited Tandoor recently for a team lunch and had an excellent experience! The food was delicious with a perfect balance of flavor and presentation. The staff were attentive and courteous, ensuring everything was served just right. The ambience added to the charm — cozy, elegant, and ideal for both casual dining and special occasions. I visited tandoor literally after 15 years. I have had an biryani obsession after trying their Chicken biryani back when I was a kid. Ohh man I have to tell you I still remember that moment, it was the best mouth melting Chicken experience I have had.🤤 So i recently decided to visit it with my family , it was my birthday too. We are hardcore meat lovers so we tried there best of best offerings. Honestly it was just an pleasurable experience. The boneless mutton ran with cheese garlic naan hit the spot perfectly. The tandoor platter paired elegantly with their green yoghurt chutney. Mutton biryani was delicious and the basmati rice was lightly spiced and was perfect in every bite. If you wanna feast like a king 👑 , this is your spot. You can further elevate your customer experience by training your staff in a way that they are vigilant about customers needs. I would give this restaurant a 0. I ordered food from Tandoor and the butter chicken was stale. There was a cockroach in the food. I would not eat here ever again. What’s worse is I spoke to the hotel manager and he showed no interest in resolving this issue. He put the blame squarely on Swiggy. Let’s be clear Swiggy doesn’t cook or pack the food, they are only aggregators/delivery guys. I would never eat here again. Very disappointing!

I've been a regular at this Bangalore establishment for more than 2 decades . What kept me returning with family and business contacts was the food. Classic north indian and mughlai fare . Reliably consistent quality and taste . Quietly polite service and offcourse the old world charm of the decor and ambience. Several wonderful meals and memories of eating here . Sadly my most recent visit here was , in one word, disappointing. The establishment seems to have lost its mojo. Lackadaisical service and the food - pathetic. The tandoori prawns were leather like and were returned . The seekh kabab and the fish tikka ...were edible but uninspiring. All these dishes served bare ...with no accompaniments , salad etc. The main course of rice and daal was passable , nothing special. Not a satisfactory meal and a huge come down from historical experience. Perhaps the kitchen staff has changed and not for the better . Several better options exist around the MG Road area

I visited Lupa with my friends over the weekend, and I must say, I loved the vibes. The place is spacious, with plenty of seating options both indoors and outdoors, making it perfect for any type of gathering. We arrived around 3:45 PM, unfortunately just after the kitchen had closed, so we didn’t get to sample the food, but we made up for it with some Red and White Sangria, both of which were excellent. The highlight of our experience was definitely Maimei, one of the staff members. He was incredibly courteous and even brought us some peanuts to snack on while we relaxed. I’m definitely coming back to try the food, but the only downside was the drink prices. At ₹950 for a single Sangria, it felt a little on the steeper side. Other than that, I had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend it!

My recent dinner at Lopa Bangalore was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was vibrant and the interior design was nothing short of amazing. The food was equally impressive. We started with the Turkish lamb chops kebab, which came with labne sauce and was absolutely mind-blowing tender, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The cracking pork (I guess that’s the name) was highly recommended and did not disappoint; it was executed flawlessly. A special shout-out must go to their homemade gelato: forget the other gelato shops in Bangalore, this in-house dessert is far superior and the perfect end to a great meal. Highly recommend!

You wouldn’t guess what awaits you from the outside—but step in, and you’re instantly transported. With its beautifully designed courtyard (complete with a central water fountain), stylish indoor seating, and a cozy mezzanine for private celebrations, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to—especially for a special day. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet warm, and the service absolutely lives up to the setting. The staff were prompt, polite, and incredibly knowledgeable—guiding us through the expansive menu and suggesting some exceptional dishes and drinks. They even changed our plates and cutlery after every dish—such attention to detail! Appetizers - Greek Mini Pies: These came piping hot and fresh, with flaky pastry and a beautiful filling of zucchini, feta, dill, and parsley. Paired with the orange-fennel marmalade and cashew tahini, it was a bite of Greece done right. - Eggplant Speducci: Surprisingly the star of the evening. Miso and chimichurri together on tender eggplant, topped with almond crumble—unlike anything we’ve tasted. Main Course - Pressed Half Brick Chicken: Crispy, juicy, and so flavourful. The creamed mushrooms and crispy Tuscan potatoes on the side were perfection—honestly, the sides were good enough to be mains! - Wood-fired Chermoula Cauliflower: This was probably the only dish we didn’t enjoy as much—it felt a bit overdone with too many elements, though the pita was great. Dessert Key Lime Tart: Intricately made, beautifully presented, though a bit too tangy for our taste. Would have preferred a slightly more balanced tartness. Drinks (A must-try if you're into creative cocktails!) Trastevere: Truffle-infused gin with parmesan vermouth? Bold but brilliant. Okinawa Summer: Light, citrusy, with a sweet twist. Refreshing. Curry & Smoke: A standout—curry leaf in a drink? Surprisingly aromatic and smooth. PB&J: Peanut butter bourbon and raspberry—unexpected but works so well, and even comes topped with a PB treat shaped like a peanut. The St. Germain: A more classic blend—floral and pleasant but didn’t stand out. Black Mirror: Dessert in a glass—cacao, coconut, cold brew and a nitro dalgona float. Bold and delicious. Price Point: Yes, it’s expensive—cocktails are around ₹1200 and most dishes ₹600+. But for a special occasion, the quality, service, and overall experience really justify the price. If you're looking for a place to celebrate or simply want to treat yourself to one of India’s best culinary experiences, LUPA is well worth the splurge.

My son took us out for lunch for my birthday, he loves dining at LUPA so I will reserve my comments to two aspects:- Music- LUPA has no dance floor (if it does we did not notice not it's a disco, dance place or a similar joint) so why was the music deafining?? At such places one visits with family or friends and need to talk and not shout at each other? The music gave us a headache. Service - A high-end restaurant and the Serving staff were ignorant about the dishes and it's accompaniments?? Fish &Chips, we have had this dish in London, all over UK, Australia, New Zealand and the fish was always accompanied by chips but LUPA Staff educates us by saying "Fish and Chips actually had no chips"?????? We had an excellent family time would have been better if the music was soft.

The layout—with private and semi-private zones, mezzanine spaces, special open kitchens, etc.—gives options for different moods (date night, group dinners, special occasion).  The menu is ambitious and inventive: classic European foundations with modern twists. Dishes like the pressed half-brick chicken, corzetti pasta with wild mushroom ragu, creative charcuteries, and a robust wine cellar are major pluses.  Also, thoughtful touches—using locally sourced or well-curated ingredients, house-made gelatos, bespoke cheeses, interesting cocktails—go a long way in boosting the overall dining experience.

What a perfect blend of flavours. Loved the food, the ambience, the service and vibe of the place. We ordered multiple dishes and all of them were so flavourful, so visually appealing and so well prepared. Good job Lupa! Ten of us went for pre-diwali family lunch. We booked online and received a confirmation email. Immediately thereafter, we received a call asking us to pay 5K to confirm the reservation as it was a Sunday, which we did. The person booking also told us that if we were taking courtyard seating, we should be prepared for the loud music (which was the case). Overall, reservation process was responsive. We ordered a hell lot (35K worth of just food orders for nine people and a child) so tough to go through each dish, but it ranged from fine (pizzas, most desserts) through good (duck, to great (dark chocolate and burnt orange mousse, lamb shoulder barbacoa which is slow roasted lamb, a slightly spicy pasta dish whose name I forget). Only disappointment were the soups - the asparagus soup was tastes of nothing (not in terms of bad taste, but very flat taste in the manner of a soup that you would have if you were told it was health food, but not for its taste!) Service was efficient even when the place got busy for Sunday brunch though they disappointed at the last moment when one person's hot chocolate came 10-15 mins after everyone's coffees were served. Some people would feel that at 3-3.5K per person without alcohol, everything needs to hit the high notes. But in a restaurant which has such a huge menu, that would be wrong to expect. As I mentioned above, it plays in the average and above range. With the ambience and the variety it offers, great place for larger groups and families where everyone will find something for their interest. A fine dine restaurant with a one page menu, that gets everything perfect maybe a better option for a smaller group or a couple looking for a cozier place with exceptional food.

We tried the kharabath, the signature rava idli, the vada and the masala dosa. All of them come with a side of ghee and tasted great. Service was quick as well, and the staff was attentive and asked if we needed water, chutney etc regularly. I think it’s a lovely spot for a South Indian breakfast after a nice walk in Lalbagh

MTR is one of the legacy restaurants in bangalore. I feel the taste is not as good as it was before. The ambiance is improved and is well maintained now. Most of the dishes were good. I felt they put more hing(asafoetida) in bisibelebath, and even curd rice. Dont know it was for our batch or nowadays it’s like that. It was giving bitter after taste. Rest of the items were good as usual. Apart from this the restaurant never misses to give old traditional vibes and taste of old bangalore. Do try when near lalbagh or Basavanagudi.

I'm quite mad that I hadn't discovered this gem of a restaurant till now. If one can blend pure passion and give it their all, then wonders like this take form. Absolute wonderful experience at this joint. From service, to the staff on site, to the cleanliness and hygiene at this joint , this is a clear statement that you don't need to spend a premium to have a wonderful dining experience. I would highly appreciate the sheer attention to detail and the coordination of the staffs at site. A simple menu that caters to everyone alike with absolutely no compromise in quality whatsoever. We had the idly, masala dosa, kala jamun and the curd vada and all these dishes screamed quality and freshness and made us go wow! I came back on two other occasions and everytime I've come here and left it has always left a lasting impression in me wanting to always come back for their food and hospitality. An absolute banger for your buck and a must try for all you vegetarians, chicketerians or anybody who enjoys South Indian dishes, do not miss out on this gem!

During a brief sojourn in Bangalore from Canada, I had the pleasure of reconnecting with a dear friend after several years. He graciously hosted me for a Sunday afternoon lunch at the venerable MTR near Lalbagh, a name that evokes near-legendary reverence among locals. After a modest wait for our seating—hardly unexpected given the weekend rush—we were ushered into the dining area. On my friend’s recommendation, we opted for the traditional meal offering, an array of quintessential South Indian dishes served in unlimited portions. The presentation adhered faithfully to time-honoured customs, a charming contrast to the increasingly contemporary dining formats found elsewhere. While each item was undeniably wholesome and redolent of home-style comfort, I must admit that, to my palate, the overall experience felt pleasantly adequate rather than extraordinary. What did strike me, however, was the unceasing stream of patrons pouring into the restaurant—a testament to MTR’s enduring popularity. Clearly, the establishment holds a certain allure that resonates deeply with its loyal clientele, even if that particular enchantment eluded me on this occasion. Nevertheless, the visit was unquestionably worthwhile, if only to experience firsthand a culinary institution so cherished within Bangalore’s cultural fabric.

This place has left a wonderful impression! The traditional dishes are not only delicious but also beautifully presented, and it's convenient to see that online payment services are available. I particularly enjoyed the Dosa and coffee - they were delightful! The cleanliness and maintenance of the establishment are also noteworthy and greatly appreciated.

Must visit place for authentic meal. Meals are available for lunch and dinner both. They serve at specific timings so better check. We also tried their dosa, rava idli, bisibille bhath, coffee and fruit mix. My favourite has been bisibille bhath and coffee. Of course the meal does not need any ranking. It's best. One thing to note is that items which are available in and during meals are not available in ala carte option. So is if you love their rasam, you will get it only during meal hours.

Been visiting this place for years. The taste has come down a couple of notches.The menu is looking dated. Gilawat Ke Kebab was the saviour. Literally melted in the mouth. Tali Subz Machili was decent too on the taste but the size of the fish was small Murgh Angaar was okay. The biggest disappointment was the taste of the Dum Pukht Biryani - It tasted super salty and tangy. We requested for a change and it was promptly taken care of. The replacement biryani was drastically better than what was served earlier both in taste and quality. The chef personally checked on us. The restaurant is in desperate need of fresh lease of life just like how the lobby has gone through!

The food was alright overall, nothing particularly exceptional in terms of flavor. However, the accompanying onions were quite disappointing — they were too sharp and overpowering, definitely not the fresh salad onions you’d expect. The small slice of cucumber and tomato on the side also felt a bit underwhelming. The one standout dish for me was the Dal Bukhara, which I would consider ordering again. But aside from that, I think there are other restaurants that offer better quality at a similar price point. That said, the ambience of the place is definitely a highlight. If you’re going for the atmosphere and experience, it’s worth a visit. But if you're focused mainly on food value, it may not feel worth the expense.

Had a great experience at K&K! Food was delicious, mixing different flavors and the service / ambiente were amazing.

Kind of addicted to few dishes of Kebabs and Kurries. Especially the tender lamb kebabs and the Dum Pukt biriyani. Best in class and timely support by Mr. Balu in delivering the food with love is much appreciated. He is a true hotelier. Pratik's kind gesture in recommending new variants of Kebabs during our recent visit has been exceptional. Being an ex- ITC employee I really love this restaurant and my repeat choice.

I had dinner at Kababs and Curries — the Tarkari Pulao was outstanding! I’ve been dining here for the past 15 years, and the experience has always been excellent. The entire staff is very courteous, and the chef personally checks with us every time. A special mention to Ramesh, who always takes great care of us.

This restaurant has such a cozy and charming atmosphere! The warm lighting, decor, and comfortable seating make it an ideal place for a relaxed meal. The 5 course non veg meal is worth trying and the service provided by sankadip and sufian was really great, too. Worth a repeat visit!

I had the prawn curry and chicken tikka, both of which were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The staff who helped me today, Jagadish and Sankhadip, were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring that everything was just right. Additionally, the chef made a special effort to greet guests, which added a personal touch to the experience. Decent food, great atmosphere and impeccable service. Went there for dinner and the location and views were really good. Only negative I would say is that it's a tad too expensive for the food.

The restaurant is located inside a five-star hotel (ITC Windsor)with prices reflecting its upscale setting. While the presentation was nice, the food itself felt fairly standard. The marinated lamb was tender but lacked juiciness, and the predominant taste came from the spices. The Paneer Makhani was pleasant yet quite typical. The service was very attentive, though the level of formality created a somewhat ceremonial atmosphere — some guests might find it charming, while others could see it as a bit too stiff.

I love the kebabs - malai kebab , sheep kebab and grill fish as well. Fish kebab could be better. Daal was good. Ordered the jumbo naan. Preparation was good to watch. Service is good . Take U turn to enter the hotel is pain because of bangalore traffic. Overall good place though costly.

I must say staff is very friendly and the service is amazing over here. I loved pudina paratha and onion kulcha here.. buttermilk is not part of the menu but they arranged it for us... We ordered Tandoori Shimla Mirch- not a great preparation to be honest, stuffing felt like eating a dry cabbage subji, Shimla mirch was not marinated to enhance the taste so it was just kept in tandoor, it was quite oily too.. Daal Bukhara - My benchmark for good daal is kesar da dhaba of Amritsar but I was keeping my expectations low however when I could taste readymade tomato puree, that's not acceptable ! Overall, I don't think this place is for vegetarians, maybe non-veg is their speciality!

Love love love the food here! The lamb was fall-off-the-bone, the Tandoori Chicken and Prawns were cooked to perfection, the Naans were so tasty, the Khulfis were creamy and the Dal, soooooo yummy! This has got to be my new favorite restaurant in Bangalore! Service was impeccable 👌

Overall the food was below our expectations. We most enjoyed the fish kabobs but it wasn’t something extra ordinary. Chicken kabobs were a bit dry. Kabobs were not as flavorful as I have had at many places. The dessert was a bit disappointment. Ras malai had some stale smell and gulfi wasn’t as creamy as it should have been. Overall, the food was average- not worth the money spent.

This restaurant is located within the ITC Windsor - you will be amazed to see the hospitality here and the ambience is very amazing. It's by the pool side and you have a wide menu here. Try out their tandoori items and go for a buffet only if you are very hungry else go for the al-carte menu. Food was good - you visit here for a good experience and try visiting here in the night as you will enjoy more with the poolside ambience here.

Now a days a quiet ambiance is what we long for while dining out. The Royal Afghan completely fits my requirements. A serene, poolside, relaxed seating arrangement will certainly give you the old club charm. They have plenty of different options available to drink (hard and soft). They have a frontier food menu, dominated by non veg options, but have options for veg lovers as well. Different kebabs are their expertise. One point to remember is that biriyani is not available to keep the flavor intact, but you have different versions of naan and paratha to complete your choices. On request, plain rice is available. The sweet section is limited with Kulfi, gulab jamun, phirni, rasmalai, etc. The test of food is unbeatable with subtle aroma. It is non greasy. We mostly ate Kebabs with butter naan, Sikandari raan, made with lamb is a famous dish, but you need to have a good appetite. Portions are enough for two people. Certain kebabs are a bit spicy to our taste, but that's how it is to maintain authenticity. Service is very quick and attentive. Noteworthy mention is our guide Mr. Shankar. He knew all the dishes in the menu card. Very helpful, to say the least. We also had the opportunity to meet the chef in the house, Mr. Bajrang, interacting with the guests to take feedback. It was very nice to see this culture of Indian hospitality. Finally, we ended our dinner with paan, another fitting end after a heavy dinner. A must visit for all who love a fine ambiance while dining out. For me, this was perfect 💯!

Opted this place to celebrate birthday ! Had been for dinner and hands down one of the worst places to dine in. The waiter who attend us was pretty new to the job I guess , I felt there could have been some assistance to him. Literally waited for more than 30 mins to get the first order on tables. Their food was not at all tasty , not worth the over price. Tomato soup was too salty. Makai kebab was good. Noddles was average. Biryani rice was not cooked completely. Baby corn chilly tastes average. Their complimentary mocktail were worst and all just artificial stuffs. At last the manager came and said sorry for the unsatisfactory service and as a compliment you can have deserts from the buffet section. My only point is why do you charge so much when you can keep up the standards , in return don’t always go with providing complimentary stuffs rather work on improving your standard of service.

Just to clarify, the same type of food might have made the rating 3 at-least but there is expectations associated with brand like JW and if you are charging me Rs 1300 -1400 per dish then there has to be some wow factor… but I think the real let down was the service and that not just brought the rating down but I don’t think I would recommend to visit them for food at-least… So this was at 10:15 pm on a weekday and first issue was we were given a table without any napkins and plates with marks !!! Again note that I am picky here as I am paying premium for this experience.. the place was not too busy but they had a running buffet and I think they expected everyone to go for that instead of à la carte order… anyway this should not be the excuse We ordered just three dishes, the appetizer: Mazze platter and as main course: spaghetti arriabiatta and pasta funghi.. first issue they got everything together, which makes no sense so we had to send the pasta back to be put in warmer while we enjoy the platter. Then about the food: - the mazze platter: very dry pita bread, and out of 4 dips two very very very average - pasta funghi: this looked like made from powdered cream… though taste wise this was Ok - spaghetti arrabiata : this was ok as well, nothing too great though.. The mocktails they gave were very good though and also the garlic bread that came with the pasta were very nice We ended up getting most of the pastas packed for home and there came the worst ending, the server packed the bread along with pasta in same box!!! On questioning (cause this will mess up the bread) another server took it back and said she will take care, only for us to realize after reaching home that she removed the bread!! So the only GOOD thing was just taken OUT and thrown!!!! Overall, very unhappy with our decision to eat at the J W Kitchen .. maybe buffet was good but I don’t care, either stop service à la carte or serve it well.. at-least that is what we deserve for paying the premium price.

One of the most lavish buffet spreads you will find, and a wide variety of cuisines within a single buffet. Worth a visit with family and friends for that special occasion. Great ambience, good service and good for large family groups. Amazing dessert selection, impossible to do justice to the variety.

The breakfast buffet spread is incredibly diverse. Love getting my Mysore masala dosa fix with my filtered coffee The staff are really friendly and we've been here for dinner as well. The bartender even went to get large ice cubes for my old fashioned from another bar to satisfy my preference.

Nowhere did it match JW standards. The buffet spread was quite limited — just 2 starters, 1 curry, 1 biryani, dal, South Indian rice, and a few local dessert options. Even the salad section had only a handful of choices.Guess what ,it was a weekend night. Overall, it was far below expectations and didn’t compare even to regular BBQ joints in town like Barbeque Nation or Absolute Barbecue. Any other similar brands like JW. Will have pizza ,pasta , Ice cream, Sandwich, pav bhaji. ITC was much better experience.

A nice, small Pan-Asian restaurant located in Indiranagar. For starters, we had Char Siu bao and Gochujang beef bao, which were both delicious. The charred beef ramen was fine. I felt the 'charred-ness' added a weird taste to the soup, but the rest of my family loved it. So, I guess it's just me. We also ordered the pork ribs and seafood flat rice noodles, which were also really good. The meat nicely peeled off the rib bones. Overall, the experience was nice, but the only letdown was the service. It was too slow, and they forgot to order/get our drinks. We had to wait for a long time. But we enjoyed the food and drinks at the restaurant.

Visited this place twice now, and overall I’ve had a good experience with the food, though it is definitely on the pricier side. The Vegetable Garlic Chowmein is the star of the menu for me. It was absolutely delicious and probably one of the best I’ve ever tried. Highly recommend giving this one a go! The Cottage Cheese Bao, however, was quite underwhelming. The flavour was very mild and felt rather bland, so I’d suggest to skip it. We also tried a few sushi options. The Mushroom Sushi didn’t really stand out, but the Rainbow Sushi and Pickle Sushi are worth a try if you’re looking for good vegetarian sushi choices. The place feels a bit congested due to the number of tables when there are many people. So, mostly suitable to go with a group of people. They have vallet parking for four wheelers and a parking in the basement for two wheelers.

Fatty Bao, Indiranagar is definitely a spot worth checking out! We tried the Wasabi Prawns – absolutely delicious, the Rameyon – loved the flavorful base (though the noodles could be better), and the Teriyaki Glazed Chicken Bao – simply outstanding. The ambience is cozy, service is excellent, and valet parking makes it super convenient. A must-visit for Asian cuisine lovers!

Had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The service was absolutely exceptional, especially thanks to Hriday, who made us feel so welcome. The edamame, dim sum, and mushroom ramen were all delicious and perfectly prepared. To top it off, we were pleasantly surprised with an on-the-house dessert, which was equally delightful. Undoubtedly the best ramen in town! Though the name Fatty Bao might lead you to focus just on the baos, don’t make that mistake—their ramen bowls are out of the world! The Pork Belly Ramen Bowl is my personal favorite—rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. I’ve also tried the Mushroom Ramen Bowl when dining with vegetarian friends, and it’s equally delicious. The broth is deeply comforting and packed with flavor. The decor adds to the charm, making you feel like you’ve stepped into a cozy ramen shop somewhere in Japan—super cute and inviting! The baos are tasty too, though slightly on the pricier side. The cheesecake we tried didn’t quite meet our expectations, but the overall experience was still excellent. Special mention to the staff—the service is warm and attentive, and they take the time to explain each dish and answer any questions.

Found this place intersting with the reviews and what they offer on menu..and went on to try. To begin with the ambience wasn't great when we compare to aesthetically structured bangalore resturant now a days ..but honestly somewhere I knew this could be a hint that food ould be good as there were so many reviews and good rating . Started ordering the food and with first starter(wonton soup- PS :it's not soup) knew it would be good ,then we ordered asparagus sushi - now that was a bit low on taste as compared to what we had eaten before and we have feedback too..and waiter was sweet enough to get the chef and speak to us ..and after that they gave us complimentary bao and dessert on house ~ which was really sweet of them. And ramen (mushroom) was the best I ever had.

It was a nice experience but not best as I have eaten better south Indian breakfast in other places. The atmosphere was cozy. I loved the road and the total area. Service is user friendly and less chaos. Crowd management is great. Recommended to visit atleast for experience. But yes, food was not so good for me. It was okay.

Veena stores is one of the iconic eateries I Malleshwara. Their Idly is soft and vada is crispy. But its the chutney that is the best. Apart from Idly vada, their puliyogare and shavige bath is also delicious. Kesari bath on the other hand is average. The service is good and quick. For takeaway, we had just finished placing the order and paying and the parcel was handed to us immediately! Overall, its a good place with good food.

Sunday morning breakfast here. We had one plate idly vada, puliyogare, shavige bath , avalakki bath and one coffee. All items were reasonably priced and decent in terms of taste. If you are in and around malleshwaram worth a try. (Note : They only serve chutney with all items.) Seating : Place can seat upto 15-20 odd people at a time at max. Takeaway : Different counter available to take parcel items if you find a lot of crowd Parking : Roadside parking was available in the morning, not sure about other times of the day.

If you want to taste good and simple food without hype or gimmicks, Veena Stores is the place. Meets expectations to the core. The Idlies were fluffy and soft along with the chutney it is bliss. The medu vada was also superb. Khara bhath was tasty and the rava kesari an apt way to end a beautiful breakfast. Simple, tasty and efficient service.

Good place in Indiranagar for your Vietnamese food cravings. The ambience is very green and earthy. The vibe of the place is relaxing and you instantly feel refreshed looking at the green plants in the restaurant. We visited for dinner, so the lighting was also ambient (yellow lights, I like those). We ordered one veg pho, one mushroom tofu banh mi and one veg dumplings/momos. Banh Mi is like a panini (or an elongated sandwich, like a subway). Pho was delicious and flavourful. Banh Mi was average. They also have complimentary pickled radish and carrot on each table (they are very tasty but do not fill yourself on this, else you will not have food :-P ). Veg dumplings were the highlight as we both loved it. Few issues for me, were that the stairs to go to first floor was very narrow and there is no AC, there are few coolers which cause some noise. There is also low key music in the background. There is no valet parking and as the restaurant is on the busy street of Indiranagar, car parking might be an issue. Although there are lanes, in which you can park. PS: We kept the restaurant on the left, drove till Corner House cafe, took a right and found a spot in that lane.

We visited Phobidden Fruit for dinner and started with three beverages: a fresh lime soda, a tropical fizz, and a ginger lemon cooler. All three were refreshing and worked well as light, cooling sips before the meal. For food, we ordered the Viet Chicken Wings and two bowls of their well-known Chicken Pho. The wings were flavourful with a crisp, well-seasoned exterior. The pho arrived in generous bowls with an aromatic, clean broth and tender pieces of chicken. Alongside the pho came the classic set of accompaniments—bean sprouts, sliced red chilli, a wedge of lime, Thai basil, mint, sliced white onions, and two sauces: their spicy chilli dip from the jar on the table and a serving of Hoisin sauce. Mixing and matching these add-ons allowed us to adjust the broth to our liking, adding freshness, heat, or sweetness as needed. What stood out most, however, were the complimentary table elements: the jar of pickled carrots and radishes and the fiery chilli dip. The pickles brought brightness and crunch, while the chilli added a sharp kick that elevated the wings and the pho alike. Overall, it was a solid 4/5 experience. Phobidden Fruit delivers comforting, reliable Vietnamese flavours in Indiranagar, with the accompaniments and condiments adding an extra layer of satisfaction to the meal.

I had such a good experience here. I had authentic pho for the first time here. The broth was flavourful and feels like a warm hug. I loved the pickled carrots and radish they serve with food too. Don’t miss trying out the sauces. The ambience is great, one can spend quality time with your friends here!

Excellent Vietnamese food in Bangalore. Great to see some variety of dishes and excellent chefs. Girlfriend got pho and I got a Bahn Mi. Both cooked to our liking and filled us up. Was able to take away food as well no problem. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Made sure we had plenty of water and napkins along with an enjoyable temperature atmosphere. Many fans were employed to keep us cool and it was well worth it. Both upstairs and downstairs have excellent dinning rooms. Wait was very short as we put our name down around 9:15pm and were seated 10min after. Hostesses were very friendly and spoke fine English.

All good, the only issue was ofcourse, the table next to us were screaming in Hindi and their young boy was throwing paper airplanes everywhere. Nuisance. They weren't disciplining the boy either.

The food is good overall. The ambience is really nice and the drinks are very fancy too. The Vada paw was a disappointment though and they were out of cheese kulcha, but rest of it was fine place to dine.

Was here to try out their all new Farzified menu and loved all the dishes and cocktails. As expected every dish had a quintessential twist with a burst of flavours and great presentation. Must try their Corn soup topped with a spicy chivda and coriander oil, absolutely delicious. The galouti sliders were melt in mouth goodness. The brioche shahi tukda was rich and yumm!! The Farzitini was my choice of poison to beat the heat on a sultry noon.

This was our second visit here.The cafe boasts a charming ambiance and a cozy setting, making it a potentially great spot for casual meet-ups. However, This time the food quality didn't quite match the inviting atmosphere. The dishes, while presented nicely, lacked flavor. While we were seated there the staff was cleaning the cealing lights which was diminishing the value of the ambience for the customer.they also went for a long huddle meet leaving us hanging for placing additional order.We had to walk up to the bar to request for the bill.on our first visit we went to the smoking area by the time we came back they had already cleared our table which had food and when questioned had no apology to offer. Tres leches lacked flavour and the desi noodles were bland.

Nice cafe serving Indian fusion cuisine with alcoholic drinks. The bar is good with a great selection of cocktails. The restaurant is open air with a cheerful ambience. The seating is good. Being in UB city, the views open towards the central fountain area and the terrace area facing the open air theatre. Bangalore weather being nice all year round, the evenings here are particularly nice. The food is really good too with a nice fusion of South and North Indian dishes. Overall a great place to chill at with anybody.

Downgrading to 3 stars. Last visit was a disaster. Hygiene and the feel of the old farzi cafe has diminished quite a bit. Service needs a lot of improvement. The toilets are still as shabby as the last visit, not sure why the restaurant doesn't take it's customers seriously. Previous review: Awesome food, the options for desserts are extremely good. We were 4 people when we tried the food, so we could cover larger palette and none of the food disappointed us, everyone of us had something that we enjoyed having.

I've visited this place a couple of times and always enjoy the experience. The cream cheese dumplings are absolutely delicious and a definite highlight. The sushi is also excellent, and the starters were quite enjoyable as well. While the Dan Dan noodles were just average, the overall dining experience was very satisfying. The service was decent—not exceptional, but nothing to complain about. The ambiance adds to the experience, making it a great spot for a nice meal out. It is slightly on the pricier side, but the quality of the food makes it worth it.

One of the best place in bangalore if you are craving some east asian cuisine. Perfect atmosphere. And the food is awesome. The service was excellent too. The only issue I had was in the bill, they added service charge despite the fact that GST is already added to the final bill. But they rectified the bill immediately. But I feel like they should inform the customers in advance that they added addtional service charge, which is optional in the final bill. Else everything else was perfect. Overall 8.7 out of 10

Visited over the weekend, I would suggest sitting at the sushi conveyor section for the ultimate feel, talking about the food absolutely loved it. The chicken karage and California Sushi rolls were amazing definitely a must try. Also, had the prawn crackers which were pretty good as well. The service staff are really hospitable but our order did take a little time to get served, this was the case for everything apart from the sushi, which was served pretty quickly. It's also got a really nice ambience and can get filled up really quickly so I suggest going early to get yourself a table.

The place has a moving conveyer belt which serves food. This in itself was enough to attract us to this place. The place is well lit and the decor is super aesthetic pleasing to the eyes. The food was amazing. The service was equally good. There were a lot of varieties of food. Some options were unavailable but we had a wonderful experience. Looking forward to visit again soon!

Another Japanese place located in indrangar, it has a lot if hype. But the food was not too good. Their service was decent and fast. Also there is no valet so good luck finding a parking spot in Indiranagar during peak times. We ordered sushi, dumplings rice noodles and pork belly. The pork belly was really good but the rest was pretty average.

Its perfect Japanese cuisine restaurant. The food was moderately tasteful. The price is at higher end. Must try Soju , Kung Pao Chicken and Udan noodles . The staff were friendly. It is good for family and friends or couples. There is no private parking or valet available.

Visited in Sep 2025 Visited Koko with the main purpose of trying their cocktails. My friends and I ended up ordering 8-9 cocktails. My overall take on their cocktails was that while the drinks were decent, I didn’t feel like this was one of the top cocktail places I’ve visited in BLR. For food, we primarily ordered some small bites to go along with the drinks. The food items we had ordered were good. Service was fine and absolutely no issues on that front. All in all, an okay place to drop by for dinner & drinks with some company.

Went here for the Sakura Brunch on Sundays, the place is all packed and the food is nice. Would definitely recommend the non veg sushi options, and prawn Wasabi! The dimsums are made in bulk i think, so they didn’t taste very fresh, but they were jam packed with meat which i loved! Liked the seasonal Mango Cheesecake with mango icecream!

The restaurant has a great ambiance, making it a pleasant place to dine. However, there are areas for improvement, especially in the food quality and service. We ordered the flat veg noodles, which were supposed to include broccoli, but it was missing. When we asked the staff, they seemed unsure and couldn’t provide a clear explanation. We visited koko on a weekday for lunch... We had a prior booking but there wasn't much crowd so it was easy finding a table . We opted for a 5 course and a 7 course meal.. I must say it was filling and it was one of the best in town . Very lovely staff ...helping us in understanding and recommending new dishes to try . Ambience is very good . Food is excellent . Definitely coming back .

We dined here with high expectations based on strong reviews, but the experience left much to be desired. We ordered the Peking Duck, Roast Pork, and Singapore Chilli Crab. The duck was stringy, the pork crackling was hard instead of crisp, and the crab tasted less than fresh. The restaurant had just launched a new summer menu two weeks ago, yet it wasn’t offered or introduced—we only learned about it by asking the neighboring table. When we inquired about how the spicy crab noodles were prepared, the waiter had no idea, indicating a lack of familiarity with the menu. While the ambiance looked appealing, the music was loud to hold a proper conversation. The tables were also too small for the large serving dishes, making it awkward to eat comfortably. Small portions on oversized plates made the food appear sparse and uninviting. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and the food did not live up to the hype or the price point. Not a restaurant I would return to or recommend.

Koko is perhaps one of my top favourites for Asian food in Luru. The sushi preps were so good that ended up re-ordering. The ambience is also really nice and chic. Service is really good, servers are courteous. Special mentions for the washroom. Clean, well-maintained and nicely lit. Reservations are recommended especially on the weekends.

We tried the Tasting Thursday menu which is more of a buffet where they give you a specific menu to choose from, I really liked the sushi, salad, desserts and overall menu. The only thing that was require a lot of effort is dumpling, they were bland in taste.

I dropped by Monkey Bar last Saturday for a quick drink (or two) and ended up absolutely loving the place. The ambience was spot on, especially around the bar and bar seating—chic yet relaxed. The music was a great mix of everything, adding to the lively vibe without being too overpowering. The real star of the night was the amazing cocktails. These are the ones I tried: • Monkey Queen – a pineapple-forward delight, refreshing and well-balanced. • Curry at 9 – a unique and bold blend of flavors that stood out. • Manga Mule – a tangy, creative twist on the classic Moscow Mule that I’d definitely order again. They also have make classic cocktails, and have beer on tap and I was impressed by the Geist options available here. I’d 100% visit again just to explore more of their delicious drinks.

I was here on a Saturday evening, and it was less crowded compared to other restro-bars, understandably so because of the steep prices of drinks and food. The food tastes good, and the quality is nice. The ambiance of this place makes up for everything, though, both indoors and outdoors.

We went for a late lunch almost 5ish. There was karaoke. It was fun. There is seating both inside and outside. Good drink options and food options. Had fun visiting.

The only disappointment was they don't have tandoori rotis, all kinds of rotis are made in Tawa, that was my only disappointment. We recently visited Kapoor’s Café. The Chole Bhature was just okay — not the best we’ve had, but decent. The Crispy Corn, however, was excellent and definitely a must-try! The Kachori tasted more like a poori than a traditional kachori, which was a bit unexpected. Overall, a mixed experience — worth a visit, especially for the snacks.

We recently visited this restaurant and were quite disappointed with the food quality. For starters, we ordered the Dahi Ke Kebab, which lacked flavor and weren’t as soft as they should be. In the main course, we had Masala Chole along with a mix of breads. While the chole was decent, the breads were a letdown — most were either overcooked or even slightly burnt. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t meet our expectations.

We really liked the Maharaja Thaali @ ₹645 which was really good and fulfilling. It was started with soup, pani puri, chaat and starters viz. Kebabs, Rolls, Chilli Paneer which can be ordered as many times as you want. In the final main course you get Naan, Tandoori Roti, Rice, Curdy, Sahi Tukda and much more. It was worth it.

Kinda mediocre. Sub-par for the name and price. Aloo chat which was supposed to be bursting with flavours was bland, had to add my own mint sauce, lemon and pickled onions. The naram dil kebab… was described to be oozing in the centre… but was not. This was also lacking burst of flavours but it’s expected. Last I ordered was a choor choor naan… it came with chole, dal makhni, raita and pickle… the naan was very underwhelming (where is the “choor choor” naan???)… best thing was the raita. Why is it named the delhi highway where nothing inside the restaurant even comes close to it… neither the taste nor the vibe.

The ambience is a bit generic and perhaps a bit gaudy in my opinion. But the food is quite delicious. The star of the show was the fusion dish "Kadai Pasta." The portions are decent, but the prices could be lower.

We expected so much but upset . We waited so much , very delayed serving. Atmosphere was very good but food was little disappointing. We ordered zeera rice and the bowl was not full. That's very sad, we ordered another one because of the so less quantity. Butter roti was also so thick and half burnt. Tomato 🍅 soup everywhere we will like, here it's not that good and lack of bread also a reason. Rumali roti was also served in a foil paper. Alu gobhi also little spiced.

All you can eat BBQ at your table plus a host of other dishes, fresh roti, nan etc. Desserts section is weak in quality and not managed well. The BBQs are fully done and brought to your table for future heating I would say rather than starting from the scratch. Service is excellent

Punjab Girll, the Barbecue offers wide varieties of buffet and barbecue starters in both veg and non veg cuisines. Tried the vegetarian side of things. The different dishes are all to the point, and are mouth watering. Better tweaks can be made on the dessert side of things. Hoping the team will work on this. Overall a wonderful experience. Prices on the weekend are more steep, unless you book via zomato or Swiggy and unlock some discounts.

I went to Punjab Grill at Orion Mall on a weekend evening. The ambience was really nice – spacious seating, warm lighting, and music that matched the vibe of the place. It felt like a good spot for a proper dinner outing. The food was definitely the highlight. Authentic North Indian and Punjabi flavors, rich and well-prepared. The gravies were flavorful, the tandoori items were cooked just right, and the portions were good. If you enjoy proper Punjabi food, this place won’t disappoint. What could have been better was the service. The waiters didn’t seem very attentive – they didn’t serve food unless we asked, and we had to call them multiple times to get things. For a restaurant of this standard, I expected a smoother dining experience. Overall, I would say the food and ambience were really good, but the service needs improvement. If you’re patient and going mainly for the taste of authentic Punjabi food, it’s worth visiting.

Went to the punjab grill for a quick lunch. I have to say that the food was absolutely delicious and lip-smacking. Authentic north Indian taste which many of us crave here in south India. Loved the food. Though is was a little bit pricey as compared to services. The staff was nice and ambience was okay, as much as you can expect from a mall interior. The highlight was no doubt the food. Would recommend for north Indian food lovers.

Had a fantastic dining experience at Chulha Chaukidar Dhaba in Rajajinagar! The food was absolutely delicious — rich, authentic North Indian flavors with a perfect desi touch. We tried the Chicken Garlic, Chicken Adraki, Dal Tadka, Phulka, Jeera Rice, Lassi and Jamun — every bite was packed with flavor and freshness. The traditional khat (charpoy) seating and earthy décor enhance the authenticity and charm. However, a few aspects of the ambience could be improved. The charpoy seating becomes uncomfortable for longer meals, and the lack of proper ventilation, especially indoors, makes it a bit stuffy—more so when you're already dealing with spicy food. The use of metal plates and basic fans, while in theme, could use a bit more polish and comfort. For mains, go for Angaar Chicken, Dal Tadka, Butter Garlic Naan, Stuffed Kulcha, and Masala Jeera Rice. Don’t miss the Kulhad Lassi and Gulab Paan to end the meal. Good interiors, nice ambience, and polite staff. Prices are slightly on the higher side. Weekends can be crowded, expect 25–30 mins wait for a table and similar wait for food. Kopi, teh, laksa, satay, popiah, dim sum, and nasi lemak in Bengaluru? Yes, that isn’t a paradox but a reality indeed. Kopitiam Lah is a lovely spot for authentic Malaysian food and drinks, with pastries and desserts also available. The Nasi Lemak here is refined and fragrant, each element from the Pandan coconut rice to the fried peanuts and anchovies, are prepared well and tastes freshly cooked. Slices of crisp cucumber and a dollop of aromatic sambal brings the classic dish together. What stands out even more are the proteins - having tried the Ayam Goreng Berempah (fried chicken) and Buff Rendang, both are intensely flavourful, tender, well-spiced and truly delicious. Had some great Malaysian dishes. Started with some really good fried chicken and an interesting and delicious Fish mousse..Otak Otak. For the mains we shared a Nasi Lemak with chicken Rendang. Loved the rice here and the chicken was ok too but needed a little something to take it up to the level of the other dishes. The Tiramisu was good..the thick and over generous topping of creamed coffee was quite strong though, and not for people who don't enjoy a strong coffee kick (I do but did have trouble sleeping afterwards 😅). It also overpowers the flavours of the dessert itself. Maybe serve it on the side so people can add it as per taste and inclination. Service was efficient and the restaurant is nicely done up.

One of our friends recommended this place for breakfast and also warned us to make a prior booking. Fortunately, when we visited, the crowd had just started to pick up, and we managed to get a table without any wait. First things first — the service was warm and attentive, and the place had a pleasant, welcoming vibe. They offer a wide range of Malaysian dishes, and honestly, everything we tried was spot on! From the traditional Kaya toast to the carrot milk and Kopi-O, each item had authentic flavours and hit just the right notes. If you’re someone who enjoys South Asian cuisine, especially Malaysian food, this place should definitely be on your list.

Kopitiam Lah has become our regular spot — we’ve been there more than 10 times, and the staff actually remember us now! We usually end up getting a table even when it’s crowded, which feels so nice. If you are looking for best Malaysian food in Bangalore you should visit Kopitiam Lah in Indiranagar. Kopi means Coffee and Tiam means Shop , Interesting! This place has the best Tiramisu and if you are a coffee lover then you will fall in love with it The price is ~480 so it is on the costly side but totally worth it. Also tried their carrot cake which was ok (3.5/5) Glens Bakehouse has much better Carrot Cake. Interestingly they have a lot of Milo flavoured coffee and drinks which I would like to try in my next visit. Overall the service is quick and the ambience is great. The place is mostly full so consider getting reservation done!

Hands down this place has the best cold coffee. I tried milo kopi and I was so blown away that I ended up ordering 2 🌚 . Ordered chicken fried rice which was amazing. Better to have a reservation before going on weekends. Definitely a must visit place .

First time in Bengaluru and also trying a microbrewery. The place was moderately crowded in the evening which was not expected for a Sunday, a telling sign of popular business. Our queue number was 24 at 10:30pm! The bar has a floating counter next to their microbrewery machines where my friend and I decided to stay even after getting a table. The servers are very friendly and polite. We were initially attended by a different server but later Parimal took our order. As a first time microbrewery drinker, I asked for their recommendation and both the serves brought us three samplers. Trust me when I say this, listen to their recommendation! I always ask servers for their bestselling items on the menu and this was the first time that I can say that they can be trusted. We ordered half-n-half pizza with chicken bbq and lamb and fig toppings, jackfruit and avocado toast; regular fries with three different dips and gunpowder masala(served separately on request). Pizzas turned out to be on the sweeter side but I thought of adding the gunpowder an peri peri masala which came with the fries and guys this was my personal favourite experiment I’ve discovered. Try it if you like spicy food. We also got to try their Layer Cake which was the best chocolate cake I’ve ever had, with chocochips adding a crunch in each bite - it didn’t even have to be warmed up or served with a scoop of ice cream. Too good! So, the overall experience was marvellous and have to give a shout out to the staff for their warm hospitality especially Parimal. Also, the restrooms are super hygienic.

Its a good place to hangout with friends or colleagues, but only if u get a table. Toit usually has a loooong waiting time cuz its obviously popular and professional. The beer served here are inhouse, the food is decent and as it is so famous for pizza, ofc the pizza is also nice. The indoor setting is warm and nice. We went for a brunch on saturday , no seats were empty. The breakfast menu is avg not quite a lot of options but lunch and dinner menu is good, u can find almost everything u wanna have . Music’s not that loud so atleast u can talk to eachother, over a good place to have couple time or even friends time.

Had an amazing time at Toit! their freshly brewed beer — smooth and full of flavor. I also had the roasted veggie and scamorza panini, which was absolutely delicious — perfectly toasted and packed with flavor. Have a long line even on weekdays, better to make reservations. They have many interesting beverages and tasty food. If you don't drink alcohol normally, maybe can ask them to make it weaker as it's quite strong for me.

Good beer. All kinds of good food... Not just 'posing as good / different' ..good service...3 levels of seating and every corner has a bar you can wait or drink like an English Pub. Sat Sundays are packed so better go early and get a booking done in advance. Worth going as a regular...alone..as a couple..with a group. Best part is, it's not dark and closed..lot of skylight areas..open areas..airy and well lit..day time wasn't too loud that one cannot hear oneself. It seems chaotic at first..but the place has a set rhythm which you'll soon discover. Worth also taking your guests from outside the country

Loved the ambiance and the collections of memorabilia they have, all very exclusive and unique…quite an investment and research must have gone through in getting them. When it comes to the food, loves the starters, the portions were very decent but the burgers were a bit of a disappointment. Will try something else probably next time and hopefully have a good experience with the food as well!

Visited for an Iron Maiden tribute music band and it was amazing! I'd highly recommend this place for live music (check the dates before visiting). However seating is limited, there might not be a place to rest to eat. The food wasn't the best though, burger was good but aperol spritz was the worst I've tasted- they forgot to put half the ingredients. I'd skip this place if you're looking for just food, but the live music scene was great.

Loved the ambiance and the exclusive collections, everything felt unique and thoughtfully displayed. As for the food, we only tried a few starters, but they were excellent. The portions were good, and the presentation was impressive. Looking forward to trying more dishes on our next visit and hoping for an equally good experience with the rest of the menu!

Came for the music and it was fantastic! Parikrama created an electrifying atmosphere—seriously, that band is incredible. Drinks were solid, and the other burgers at the table were good. The Messi Burger was a letdown, unfortunately. Still, for a great night with a killer live show and a fun crowd, it’s a top spot. 🤘

Great ambience! Inviting and spacious area, with live music and kind staff. The area is somewhat divided into two sides. My friend and I chose seats a little away from the music since we wanted to enjoy our conversation more. The menu offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, making it easy to choose. The quality of the food was fantastic. Overall, the experience was wonderful—we really enjoyed it!

A fantastic lunch with friends on a cozy afternoon at HRC St. Marks Road. The Signature Nachos, always a crowd pleaser and the flatbreads were a welcoming fun surprise, fabulously done. While I can never get tired of their delicious burgers, the pasta options keep you hooked too over a workweek lunch, Monday to Friday 12 - 4 PM Grab your bunch and just go and thank me later…

Old school eatery that’s still creating flavours from a time gone by! Brahmin’s coffee bar belongs to that rare group of Old Bengaluru darshini style that are getting more popular with age. They remain true to their roots! Dropped by for breakfast and ordered the Idli/Wada with a Filter coffee. Idlis have a home quality to them while the Wadas are unlike anything you’d have eaten! The flavour comes from the quality of ingredients. The coffee has an old school flavour as well, although I’d recommend taking the sugarless version and then added sugar. The menu is very bare-bone yet the place is packed with regulars! There’s barely any place to stand so good luck finding a quiet corner for yourself. Enjoy this place purely for the throwback feature!

This place is very old yet has some good breakfast in place. Started with their OG vada and idly and the idlys were good and very much like pillows. Their vada sells super fast like hot cakes and it very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We had almost 4 of these. Their chutney which is served is one of the best I've had with a good sense of tanginess too. The Kesari Bath is nice with a few pineapple pieces and not too sweet too which is important. Coffee was okayish and could be done better. On the whole it's a good place to visits a few times considering its name and to try their breakfast.

Started my tour in the city by trying breakfast at the popular Brahmin Coffee Bar. It was filled with people enjoying their meals even on a weekday, again a testament to their credentials. There are tables to eat both inside and adjacent to the wall. The taste is good.

Very high quality idly and vada served with tasty and spicy chutly. They have limited menu of idly, vada,khara bath,kesari bath and coffe, but everything is very high quality and very tasty. I fully enjoyed their meal and coffee.

Out of soo many places in ooru, when it comes to idli Vade with chutney dip, brahmin coffee bar will always be in my favorite list. Double idli, chutney dip and if you like butter, add it and enjoy. Coffee miss maadbedi.

Located at a 12 min walking distance from National College metro station, this place is a local legend which has been serving it's patrons from 60 years... I guess that's the trivia here! Visiting Bengaluru for 2nd time in 3 months.. I am curious to explore breakfast places in this city and this happens to be on my list! To start off with.. I was surprised that they have a very small menu... On one hand it's good as they are able to maintain the quality and standards of their respective signature dishes. I went for 1) 1 idli and 1 vade: The idli was soft but it felt a bit undercooked. Though melting in the mouth, the inner part of the idli didn't make much of a great impression. Vade definitely was amazing! It's the most crisp vade I have ever had and this one takes the crown! Chutney they gave was limited but it was a mistake from my end that I didn't see the person who was refilling the chutney at the separate counter. The taste of the chutney was good with that mint and dash of ginger which is a staple ingredient of Bengaluru style coconut chutney. 2) Kesari Bhaat: Coming from Mumbai, the initial impression was saffron rice but it turned out to be pineapple sheera Bengaluru version and learnt a new thing here! The best part was it wasn't very sweet and they kept it as the way it should be! Amazing taste 3) Filter coffee: This was a let down.. the coffee felt watery and they could have done better! Honestly it didn't satisfy my taste buds.. but they definitely can do better here! Overall a decent place, but I felt that it's worth one time visit.

Tucked away in a green road in Basanvagudi, I thought we would be in a queue forever, but within 5 mins, we had paid up and also had the best Vada and upma with chutney in our hand. The live cooking at the table was fantastic — watching the chefs in action while they prepared delicious Japanese dishes was a treat in itself. Shiro offers a truly top-tier fine dining experience in Bangalore, and we had a great time. Initially, we were drawn to the restaurant's reputation for its Japanese and Pan-Asian flavors, which certainly delivers—especially for non-vegetarians, with what appears to be a wonderful variety of different sushi options and a great selection of sauces to enjoy. However, as vegetarians, we were very pleased to find that the menu offers thoughtfully curated and delicious options for us as well. The kitchen clearly ensures the vegetarian dishes are just as flavorful and creative. We had Spicy Tofu & Avocado Maki which were a standout. The ambiance is, of course, magnificent and sets the perfect mood for a special occasion. Overall, Shiro is a fantastic choice that caters beautifully to both non-vegetarians and vegetarians. Oh my god, what a great place! We went to Shiro on Diwali Monday and got to watch all the fireworks while sitting outside, such a magical experience. The food and drinks were amazing, with super tasty Japanese dishes and a great atmosphere. Absolutely loved it!

The architecture and decor of this place is amazing. Well thought with unique art pieces all around. Great place to come in group and take loads of pics. This is the best place to have Bao. Super soft and delicious. Variety of cocktails and well made by the bartender. I was disappointed with chocolate Lave cake. It didn't feel fresh. That was the only minus. Chicken Garlic fried rice was flavourful and well made. Though the rice was little sticky. Not sure if that's part of recipe. Over all a nice experience.

Food was really good out here. Hospitality was also amazing, especially Mr. mao, he was really polite and kind towards us, this was my first experience out here, will definitely come around if i came back to Bangalore again. And especial thanks to the chef for the yum dessert, it was delicious.🙏

Had lunch with the family at Fisherman's Wharf and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The place is well-maintained with ample parking space and clean restrooms. The staff were very polite and humble, truly appreciate their hospitality. A quick heads-up: even if you book a table via Zomato or Swiggy, they don’t accept payments through those apps for buffet meals. I was informed that third-party apps aren’t valid for buffet billing, so be sure to clarify this in advance to avoid unnecessary cover charges or confusion later. The buffet spread was limited but really good. The non-veg starters, especially the fish fingers and prawns in white sauce, were delicious. The main course was satisfying too. On the dessert side, the payesh was excellent, though the ice cream was melted and gulab jamun was average. There’s also a kids’ play area, which my daughter absolutely enjoyed a nice touch for families. Overall, it's a nice place for a relaxed family meal. I would recommend it. 👍

What an amazing place! The ambience makes you feel like you’re in Goa with perfect weather. The flavors are simply outstanding! We tried butter garlic prawns, basa tawa masala, pork chili fry and prawns wrapped in bacon. Each dish was so delicious that even when you’re full, you want more. The wait time is slightly longer, so order two or three dishes at once to keep the food coming. For dessert, we had bebinca; it was so good we ordered a second plate. The service was excellent too, with Parashuram taking great care of us. Overall, an amazing experience with unique, flavorful food. Definitely a must visit!

We chose wada, masala dosa, plain dosa, kharabath, idli wada, coffee etc. All are good. Nothing extraordinary but fresh and hygienic. Would definitely go back for the experience. The wait can be long, but watching the buzz around the place is part of the charm. The food is simple and classic. The vadas are crunchy and enjoyable. If you’re looking for the softest, melt-in-the-mouth idly, this might not be the place for you. The dosas are good, though not the most unique you’ll find in the city. Overall, Vidyarthi Bhavan is a must-visit at least once for the heritage, the old-school atmosphere, and the feeling of having experienced a true Bengaluru institution.

We decided to have breakfast here, arriving around 10:45 AM. Although the token system was quite efficient at managing the crowa, we still had to wait for almost an hour before getting a table. We ordered the masala dosa, idli sambar, poori sagu, kesaribath, and coffee. The masala dosa was perfectly crispy, though I did notice a slightly old, stale oil smell in it. The poori sagu was very good. However, the real standout was the coffee —you absolutely must try it! It was fantastic. Overall, I'd say the food is good, but it's definitely not worth the hour-long wait. It's a place you can try once in a while when the craving hits and the queue isn't too intimidating.

Maybe it’s the weight of expectations that comes with such a legendary name, but the taste didn’t fully match the nostalgia surrounding it. Still, it’s a must-visit for the experience — the energy, the tradition, and the service make it special in their own way. Vidyarthi Bhavan isn’t just about food; it’s about being part of a legacy that Bangalore proudly preserves.

Title: Totally Overhyped – Not Worth the Wait or the Hype I honestly don’t understand how this place got such massive hype. I visited Vidyarthi Bhavan today after hearing so many people rave about it, and I even waited for almost two and a half hours just to get a seat. I was genuinely excited, expecting something special — but what I got was pure disappointment. The food was far below average. I tried almost every item from their small menu (just about 5–6 dishes), and not even one of them tasted good. Everything was overly oily, bland, and nowhere close to the quality you’d expect from such a famous place. What made it worse was the price — I paid nearly ₹700 in total, and honestly, it wasn’t worth even a fraction of that. To top it off, within an hour after eating, my stomach started hurting badly, and I had to rush to find a restroom on my way back. It’s not about being “picky” — I’ve had much better food from small local spots that don’t even advertise themselves. This was just overhyped, overpriced, and overrated. Waiting that long for such food honestly felt like a waste of both time and money.

Nostalgia and the feel of being in the history is what drives this place. Dosa is good, you may find places that serve better ones. Kharabaat was the star for us at this place. Service can be slow and there is usually waiting of minimum 10-15 mins if you are lucky.

This restaurant is hyped so much that one can plan to go here and see the beautiful old ambience of Bangalore and relive the old and golden times spent by our great people of Bangalore, food is average , the interiors is beautiful reminding you the old club culture Bangalore days. We ordered Fish fingers which was good also Mutton Briyani was good . But the Chicken steak was not what we excepted. Staff have their own way of handling the customers . As I have seen many reviews about this place that staff is not friendly etc… but I had a very good experience and they were good and knew about the menu and cooperative too. Food was average not as great as it was hyped . Overall I would recommend this place only to People who would love to come here and have the experience with their loved ones and relive the old Bangalore days.

Disappointed by the Food, Saved by the Ambience Honestly, I had heard a lot about Koshy's and decided to visit with high expectations, only to be left disappointed—especially by the lunch menu. While the dishes sounded fancy on paper, they completely lacked flavour. Everything we ordered was surprisingly bland. The Chicken Florentine was especially underwhelming—the white sauce was lumpy and reminded me of wallpaper paste, and the chicken itself tasted like it was just boiled with no seasoning. The Vegetable Malai Kofta had a rich color that promised a punch of flavor but delivered none. It was bland and lifeless, like most of the meal. We were hungry, and the salt and pepper on the table ended up doing the heavy lifting. The pickle and raita ended up being the most flavourful items on the table. The French fries and tomato soup were decent, with at least some seasoning. To be fair, the staff were courteous and the ambience was fantastic, which makes this review even harder to write. The place clearly has a legacy and charm, but the food fell shockingly short—especially for the prices they charge. Really hope they get their bearings and bring back the flavours they’re known for. Until then, I’m not sure I’d recommend it for a proper meal.

Koshys is an emotion! I have been going here from many years and the taste never changed. I have tried I think most of the dishes and they have been satisfactory. We also tried the Kaya bread toast from Sunday special which was good. I like the service too, they are quick and the atmosphere is vintage. However, the washroom was very bad today even though we went right at 9 am.

It is always pleasant to experience a nostalgic feel, and I appreciate that aspect. The availability of good food always enhances the overall experience, and I find that quite important. The presence of dim lights contributes to a particular ambiance, which I like very much. I also love it when establishments offer an old-fashioned atmosphere; that's a good touch. Moreover, I enjoy that the food itself is delicious and satisfying, an important attribute. The availability of food with alcohol caters to various preferences, which is something I appreciate. Ultimately, all these elements together provide a very pleasant and well-rounded experience for customers.

Disappointing to be honest. Had high expectations as it was old and legendary. Food was average. No ambience. They ran out of appams at 11. Ordered a couple of omelettes. French toast. Tea. Food can be much better for the price they are charging. They should definitely redo the interiors.

Visited after years. Still retains some of its old-world charm. Part chaos, part orderly. But things work reasonably well. Tried my old favourites - liver on toast and the bacon omelette. Both were worth the revisit. My wife tried the appam and veggie stew which was decent, not great. Coffee excellent, orange juice superb. So that's a 5 star for the food in my book and 4 for the rest.

Food is bit expensive taking taste into account. Ambience is pretty old school and they have maintained it pretty well.

I recently visited this poolside restaurant with my family for dinner. The atmosphere and ambience were pleasant and well-curated, offering a comfortable dining environment. However, compared to similar restaurants in the city, we felt the service could have been more attentive. For a dinner for three, we spent a little over ₹10,000, but unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. My son was disappointed that raita was not served with the biryani, despite the staff assuring us it would be provided. Additionally, the mutton curry lacked freshness and flavor, with little to no distinct taste of the meat. Overall, while the ambience is appealing—as one would expect from a property under JW Marriott—the dining experience fell short. The quality of food and service does not justify the price point, making it difficult to recommend based solely on ambience.

I recently visited Spice Terrace at JW Marriott, Bengaluru, and the experience was outstanding. The restaurant offers a serene pool-side setting with elegant décor and calm lighting, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The staff was extremely polite and attentive, ensuring a comfortable dining experience. We tried the kebabs and butter chicken, which were flavourful and beautifully presented. Although the prices are on the higher side, the quality and service justify the cost. Overall, it’s one of the best 5-star restaurant.

The food options are limited and mostly common, like a regular restaurant menu. The only good thing is the ambiance and the view. Apart from that, it’s not really recommended.

Very unprofessional. Made a reservation to celebrate a special occasion. Marriott Bonway site confirmed the restaurant reservation. However, on arrival was informed that the restaurant was booked for a private party and was denied entry. We had to try to find another restaurant for our special occasion at last minute. Luckily another restaurant in CBD was more welcoming. Will never visit again.

We came in with high expectations since the place was quite raved and boy, colour us impressed! Service was top notch, words can’t describe how great the meal was. My photos will not do much justice, I got too busy eating. We tried 3 different set menus, Maharaja, Maharani, Yuvraj. Flavours that dance, spices that sing — the best Indian meal my family and I have ever had. A true feast for the senses. Slightly pricey but worth every last cent. What started out completely refined… all ended in major food coma. It was indeed a masterclass in spices, texture and regret for wearing jeans to the dinner. 10/10 will be back and resist proposing to the chef

Did a walk in seating for dinner. We got a table inside but outside seems like the more popular choice. The food was so good and tasty. When ordering dishes to share it's not ideal if you wanted photos because the staff wanted to serve everyone at the table.

I went for my wedding anniversary. The place is very calming and welcoming with a rich indian artistic setup. The staff are very helpful and easy to talk to, especially, Rohan and Lin, who served us the food and cake were absolutely great with their service! I'd definitely recommend this dining experience.

We ate till our hearts content at Jamavar. Located on the lower floor of Leelas Palace, we came here for a nice lunch and the food and service was outstanding. We ordered crab which came all peeled for us and minced in a gigantic bowl. I can easily say that there were more than a couple of crabs within that one bowl. I'm a huge seafood person and loved each spoonful of the dish, and it was so much that my wife and I ate till our hearts content. We also ordered fish and chicken dishes and ended it with dessert and tea. Each dish was spectacular and amazingly done and we did not have a single complaint about anything. The service staff were excellent and were extremely attentive to any need or want. To top it off, it's a beautiful restaurant that captured the Indian designs extremely well and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Had an amazing experience at Jamavar, Leela Palace Bangalore. The set menu was excellent – especially the biryani and lobster curry. Desserts were also very good. The staff were courteous and even adjusted the spice levels as per our request. Great food, lovely ambiance, and outstanding service.

Chutney chang is at the center of chrch Street. You need to get off at MG road metro, walk for 15 mins(good workout), you will find it in a good place. The food was ready by 7pm, for our team dinner. Veg and non-veg good enough variety - Chwings, alfaham, naan, Masala paneer, palak paneer, white rice, soup, noodles, biriyani rice, ghee rice, fruits, momos, fish fry, fish kabab, salads, some veg Twisters(potato, corn). Well kept atmosphere. Prawns items are available on specific days like Friday. You feel welcomed and pleasant, with diligent staffs. Suited for family and peers get-together.

Super yummy fooood, I’ve been here multiple times but this time I tried something new, the London mix dish. What a delight. It was very delicious served with a lamb steak, chicken steak, some ham, an egg, rice, mashed potatoes and veggies in sauce. Highly recommend. Other dishes were also really good, the cheesy fries, pepperoni pizza, and the lamb burger was nice but not as good.

So, had to visit the first Truffles branch here! 😊 The service was quick and convenient. Although crowded, I was able to get a table for two at ease. The taste was similar to other Truffles branch and their cloud kitchens. I ordered a pasta and a pastry. Affordable, tasty and has the cutest desserts! But yes, just a suggestion, if it can provide a parking space or a facility too than it would be great for all its customers.

Wanted a quiet family dinner after a long time, so booked at the Alto Vino , thinking it to be at the JW Marriott, but was mistaken and never really bothered to check the address. Landed at the JW and realized the mistake - since we had already arrived, headed up to Alba for our dinner. The restaurant was almost empty with just 1 other diner. We were seated at the elevated section. I have dined at ALBA before for the Manish Mehrotra popup and 2 other sit down dinners. The menu is decent and we settled down with our orders Crispy Halloumi in Kataifi, Citrus prawn , yellow tail crudo and Avocado cream, Aglio Olio Spaghetti for the kids, Orto E Olive, Asparagus Risotto , burrata and ricotta ravioli. The problems started soon after. Inspite of half the restaurant being empty - the food was painstakingly slow to arrive. Each course took its own time to make it to the table . When we were running out of time and decided to call it a day, and wanted the last 2 dishes to be cancelled, we were told they were already prepared ( waited 10 mins before and perhaps 10 mins after ) for the food to be packed. Having been part of 3 sit down dinners before this, there was a level of service that had set a bench mark and to fall shockingly lower than that was something that left a bad taste in the mouth. Not only did the risotto not make it in time, when we tasted it after going home, it wasn't really an enjoyable experience 40 mins later. It felt quite off. Having said that, apart from the slow service, the food was saving grace. The lemon prawn was fantastic, so was the pizza. I wish i wasn't subjected to such disastrous service standards for what had the makings for an otherwise fantastic family meal.

We visited Alba yesterday at JW Marriott after many years( more than 5 years) and we had such terrible experience. We were the only guest at the entire restaurant. The quality of the food was below average. We ordered Citrus prawns, plantain empanadas, Burrata salad, Burrata and Ricotta ravioli, seafood noodle and quail risotto. None of these dishes lived up to the expectations of five star dining and trust me we have dined at plenty of such restaurants in the last 20 years in Bangalore. Empanadas were nothing closer to what empanadas are meant to be, the burrata salad was flat interms of taste no texture to the salad. The seafood pasta was smelly to say the least, prawns were mushy. Coming to risotto - I have never had such horrible risotto in my life. It was uncooked and lacked any flavour and seasoning plus the quail wasn’t fresh and it was on the plate for namesake. The server made no attempts to explain whether the dish we ordered was a cold dish or hot and the citrus prawns came in a broth. I shared the feedback with another server since the previous one did not bother returning to the table when we told her that we were in no mood for desserts. Other server did confirm the chef was new and he did mention that the old chef had left. All in all a very bad experience and very disappointing especially since we were celebrating a special occasion. I don’t think we will ever step foot at this place ever again. Think of ultimate luxury fine dining and some modern Italian food , not the cheesy Tummy bloat inducing kinds, but flavorful and innovative kind, that’s what ALBA is all about. The setting is off course classic JW Marriott but what’s most interesting is the kitchen in the centre which is like an atrium where your food gets prepared and plated the talented Italian chef Matteo. The food is off course phenomenal and the service one of the best you’ll get. Needless to say that this restaurant comes highly recommended. It was my first time visiting alba, ambience is great. Service by priyanka was good. Excellent pizza by the chef, ordered Margarita pizza, it's the best i have had till date, fresh dough, Buffalo cheese, fresh basil, really thin crust, juicy bites until the last bite. I paired it with a beer. Had a great time. Would definitely visit again, to try their pasta and dessert. 💟

A really good experience with a statement of luxury, extra services and fine dining. Had been here for my birthday and made sure they handed us over a cake (eggless) which was a really sweet gesture. Not gonna talk about as it is a 5 star but definitely on the higher side ( make use of dineout passport) food was decent, not great to be honest but made good with the ambience and the service. Had ordered a margarita pizza which was good and a basil pasta, pasta could have been cooked more well but otherwise okay. Place is kept spectacularly clean.

Food is good... Almost identical in content and form to any other Rajdhani restaurant. The main differences are better location, ambience, cutlery and slightly better service. Still in two minds whether those differences make up for significantly higher cost of the thali compared to the usual Rajdhani restaurants...

A decent place with a good spread of dishes. One among the best Thalis available . Price on the higher side ( around 800 rupees per thali per person) but food, ambience , presentation nearly justifies the price. The staff could be a little more quick and courteous - but they have their tough days too I guess!

Fantastic experience! The presentation of the food is immaculate and the service was even better. The thali has a myriad of items, but nearly all of them were very delicious. At 700 a plate, it's a bit steep, but definitely worth an experience.

Quality of the food was good. But in terms of taste I didn't feel great. Starters n sweets were too good. I didn't liked the main course. Lot of varieties will be provided in thali. If they provide minimum items with good taste it would be better according to me. It costs somewhere around 800/- per thali, which I feel is quite expensive. If you want to experience the ambience in UB City u can give it a try.

Located in UB CITY mall this Rajasthani cuisine restaurant is truly amazing in food taste. They serve you in brass utensils. They offer all you can eat meal which have lot of variety. Restaurant is well maintained and clean. Staff is also very cooperative. This is a veg restaurants.

Ambience- it’s a nice sit out place with umbrellas scattered all over !! You’re welcomed in authentic way with kumkum Service - I loved their service .. They even washed our hands before we started our dinner ! Food - we’ve ordered Thali which started with chaas, khairi panna and some refreshing snacks . Then served with pani puri and chaat. Later got a gaint plate with all the curries, roti, 3 types of rice and Dal batti churma... Dal batti churma was so yummy. Finally we were served with delicious deserts too ! This place is amazingly delicious.

Checked out The Green Theory recently. The vibe is cozy and nice for chilling with friends or even having a quick meeting, but I did feel it was a bit cramped. Tried the Mexican cheese sizzler it tasted pretty good for the price, though the nachos on the sizzling plate got soggy fast, which was a bit disappointing. Parking’s a hassle since it’s right on the main road, so plan for that. Overall, a decent spot if you don’t mind the small quirks.

The food was very good but the portions were too less, especially in case of pasta and Khao suey. The food items are expensive but not exceptional as they should. On a Saturday night this place was quite empty. Serving time could be improved significantly. Lighting could be better, it's not a pub that needs dim lighting. After visiting this place, I got a recommendation that the wraps and sizzlers here are awesome. Not sure if I would want to go here a second time for that.

Quaint place in the middle of the city. Great selection of vegetarian and vegan food. The Matcha was amazing as well. My only grouse is that they don't have sugar free options in beverages. All is good otherwise.

Visited Green Theory and absolutely loved the food! We tried Pasta Norma, bruschettas, sweet potato fries, and fries everything was fresh, well-prepared, and delicious. Great place for good food and a nice vibe.

This place is easily located, the ambience is good with a little greenery. The menu is vegetarian or vegan. We tried Shenyang soup, farmhouse flatbread, penne pasta, little tikkis and paneer satay, everything was good in taste. The place is overpriced compared to the other restaurants. There is no valet parking available.

After reading reviews I visited this place for dinner. There is outdoor seating and indoor seating. Too many mosquitoes outside so opted for indoor. The menu is extensive. The prices are a bit too high for the quantity. Service is so so and inattentive. Not acceptable for a pricey place like this. We had to ask for food to be served. Limited street parking. The food was tasty.

The atmosphere and the ambiance is great, the menu is decent, however the preperation was a little one dimensional in terms of the flavour specially for the price.. but overall enjoyable. We were in a bit of a hurry and asked for the check; they immediately checked in to make sure everything was okay and seemed genuinely concerned that we might not have enjoyed the food. This thoughtful gesture showed how much they care about customer satisfaction. Overall, Burma Burma is a great place to enjoy delicious and unique dishes in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend it for the quality of food and service, with a small note that the starters may not feel like the best value for money.

If you want to be transported to Burma, this place is a must! Their tea leaf–flavoured rice was absolutely delicious — I was a bit skeptical to try it at first, but I’d definitely recommend pairing it with any of their coconut-based curries. They have plenty of great vegetarian options, and the portion sizes are quite generous too. However, I wasn’t too pleased with their drinks. The menu listed a coconut milk tea, but when served, it had milk foam — and upon asking, I was told the coconut milk contains dairy. It would be great if they could offer a version made purely with coconut milk. Other than that, the place and ambience are really nice — definitely worth visiting despite the limited non-dairy drink options.

We celebrated a birthday and had a great lunch. The 30 mins wait was OK considering that day being a public holiday. The starters, rice dumplings, surprisingly were like sev puri with raw papaya shavings with tamarind dressing. The tofu was soft and fresh, served with delicious peanut sauce. The Burmese fried rice with Mekong curry was delicately flavourful. Although we did find overall salt content to be on a higher side. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

Chilli chickpea Tohu: Buttery smooth, melt in mouth Tohu with sweet chill sauce is a great starter. 3. Burma Burma 'oh no khosuey': Rice noodle option, coconut curry based noodle. A bit on the sweeter side would recommend to folks who are okay with sweetness, although you can alter it's taste by adding the options they provide. 4. Silkroute Sundae: Too sweet for my liking

With a table booked in advance, we were seated at a bright, naturally lit spot that set the perfect tone for a relaxed and nostalgic afternoon. The staff deserves a shout out: attentive, polite, and quick to assist, even during the weekend rush. They offer both veg and non-veg dishes, and though the food quality hovers around average, it’s enough to enjoy while being with old friends. Most patrons come here for cocktails. The mocktail and juice options are limited. I tried the watermelon juice (the only fresh juice on offer). What mattered most for us was the nostalgia and conversation. The bright, airy ambiance, friendly service, and thoughtfully crafted drinks created the perfect atmosphere for an afternoon of reconnection after nearly two decades apart. We went in here for a weekend family dinner. Had reserved in advance but the place was almost empty when we went in and remained that way. Huge space, decor and ambience was quirky but nice. Different style of seating is a plus as we were with kids and senior citizen. It is located on the 5th floor of the Eva mall. On the drinks and food, we opted for a mocktail, started off with chicken tikka and corn cheese mushroom nuggets followed by hakka noodles, arabiata pasta and chicken steak. Everything was great except for the chicken steak which was a little dry and so was the mash but the sauce was great ! Menu is available online via a QR code scan which has now become a norm in most of the places. There were hardly any wait staff, just 1 or 2 that we noticed who were tracking orders. Food was brought in and left on the table and no one to serve which some of the staff noticed later and came in to assist which is a negative considering the place was almost empty or atleast the floor which we were in was. Even the change of plates was only after we requested and after the main were brought to the table. Minor things but adds to the experience. We ended our meal with the chocolate ganache cake and a blueberry cheesecake which was great as well. Paid parking is available and there is valet for no extra charge for the resto otherwise it was written that value was Rs 100 extra which they did not charge us.

Had a pleasant experience at Boche & ShakesBierre. The reception and staff were very welcoming and responsive, which set a good tone for the visit. Initially faced a bit of delay in getting a waiter to place our order, but once connected, the service was smooth and efficient. The food was also enjoyable. Visited on a Friday evening expecting a lively crowd, but surprisingly the place was quiet with only a few guests around. Overall, a good spot to relax if you’re looking for a peaceful outing in a pub setting.

This place is huge.. they have so many sections.. look terrace, upper deck roof top, karaoke room, Private Dining.. I visited for Oktoberfest and they served some limited edition food.. it was really nice experience.. also they had happy hours Buy 1 get 1 free beer.. it was nice experience

Very nice ambiance. Good hosts. Good food. But if you donot like smoke then dont opt for seating in terrace. We did not know about it before we reserved it. Everyone there was smoking and within the span of 30 minutes it was filled with smoke. It was raining and because of that smoke did not go out and stayed inside.

The food tasted excellent. We had our lunch here during our stay. The customisations of the flavours and the explanation of the dishes was to the point. Great restaurant in hotel Taj Yeshwanthpur. Have visited several times in this restaurant and have never had a bad experience. The quality of food and service is extremely good and the ambience is quite nice. They have seating inside and outside and can house large groups as well. Considering the restaurant is in a hotel it may cost 600-800 per person.

Wonderful place that serves delicious North Indian cuisine ! - Beautiful restaurant based in Taj Yeshwantpur, Bengaluru ! Staff is very courteous and offer proper service to their client ! They help out and suggest dishes and make choices for clients. Restaurant is well maintained and is beautiful to behold especially if you visit in the night ! Food was so delicious !! Never had such food in any 5 star hotel in Hyderabad whether it's ITC, Sheraton, Trident, etc...Just it's pricey for which I couldn't rate 5 stars !! Had the 2000 rupies menu. Excellent! Especially the chicken teriwala was good. Highly recommended. The head waiter Ram did a great taking care of all needs.

The property is very difficult to reach, with a maze of poorly managed traffic around it. Also, the overall ambience is not that calm esp because they rent out their banquet hall for all sorts of noisy activities like office team building or garment sales. Resulting in poor parking space and lot of hustle bustle in the property overall. Coming to this restaurant, while once it used to be decent, its now a bit underwhelming esp for its price point. The two of us ended up paying 4600 for a dinner that would typically cost 2000-2500 in a fairly good restaurant elsewhere. Nothing worth writing about.

Waste of money. By name this is a taj property but it doesn't feel like 5 star. The prices in this restaurant are exorbitant, food taste and quality just okay. Too overpriced, doesn't have the ambience of a 5 star and not worth the money being spent.

I've had the butter chicken and tikka paneer. Both dishes have been absolutely fantastic. The paneer is a pretty large portion and can definitely serve two people. The staff was very attentive and prices are reasonable.

Restaurant itself is ok, most dishes were very tasty, a few not so much. Menu has a great variety though and the mango mocktail was brilliant.

Oota was on my list for a long time . Finally went on a weekday afternoon for lunch . This place was a big disappointment! The food was pathetic . The servers were very kind but they could not compensate for the awful food served . The Sol Kadi had too much masala . The moong dal salad was served with raw moong dal , not steamed at all . It tasted so hard to chew and tasted very dry . We had to ask them to take it back and steam it a little so that we could eat . The ghee roast chicken was the worst I have had so far in Bangalore . It was very spicy and the chicken piece had a bland and meat aftertaste . We couldn’t eat that also . The momos like dish with stuffed lentils was absolutely horrible . It had gone bad and was smelling wierd . The dal stuffing was so dry that it couldn’t be eaten . Biscuit roti was the only dish we ate . The Ragi dessert was extremely sweet and tasted average . I think this place is not the same as it used to be . The quality has gone down big time ! It’s very overhyped and I would not recommend this place to anyone .. the whole mood was spoilt after eating bad food & that too when we went to celebrate a special occasion . I would never go back .

I went here on a Friday for lunch around 12:30 pm I had done pre reservation but found the place empty and easily found a place. They have both AC dine in restaurant and outside with the nature setup. They serve the best authentic Udupi food 🤤 I had Biscuit Roti, Goli Baja, Menaski, Neer Dosa. For drinks i had Nallikayi Tambuli ( Indian gooseberry) juice. I highly recommend this juice. A must try at this place. Not to try at this place is Mango Habensro….i take one star off the food cos of this drink. This drink looks very appetising however this is Maza with lot of ice and a whole chilly put in for looks. For the price we pay here I expect actual/ organic mango juice… not Maza

We had a wonderful experience at Oota Bangalore! The drinks menu was outstanding, and the cocktails were some of the best we’ve had in a long time. Special thanks to Balvinder, who not only served everything with a smile but also customized the drinks perfectly to our preferences, it really elevated the experience. We ordered a combination of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, and everything was spot on, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The balance of taste and service made the evening truly memorable. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food, creative cocktails, and warm hospitality. The menu is completely Karnataka style, as the name suggests. But I loved the ragi mudde, jowar roti, chicken curry and mutton curry. Food takes 15-20 minutes to come once ordered.

Visited there on a special occasion, initially I was skeptical as it's expensive and google has mixed reviews but after going there it was worth every penny. One of the best romantic and candle light dinner in it's true sense. Service was at it's best and they were very polite. Explained every food precisely and were humble. Thanks for making the day even more special. We also got complimentary cake for the occasion with apt level of sweetness in it.

Everything seemed so perfectly curated, the ambience, the food and the super polite staff. I had presumed our palate is not made for the continental cuisine but I’ll take that back now. Every dish was so flavourful and blended in right proportions. The place was surreal and cosy ,a quick hidden getaway from the city hustle. Overall not worth the price, One can get 4 star/5 star restaurant at similar price with better food options, taste and service. Food : Food options (veg) were not that great. All of them were very bland and were not delicious enough to make you want to eat again. There were not enough variety and almost all dishes had walnuts in them giving similar flavour. Service: Service was very slow and there were no attendants as such due to very limited staff they had. We had to wait around 20 mins for one of our course. We asked them to not add mustard in any dish yet they gave us a salad with mustard dressing. A fly fell into one of our drink and we asked them to give us something to pick it up. They offered to replace the drink but then no one paid any heed to replace it till the end of our dinner. We asked them to speed up the dishes so they gave us 2 main course together( we were having a 7 course meal and usually two different courses are not served together) They also did not care to change cutlery after few courses which seemed a bit disappointing given the price of their 7course meal and the service they claim to offer. Atmosphere: Outdoor sitting in evening can be very chilly and cold and there are no proper heating arrangements. Although the candles and flowers created a wonderful environment. It was very dark and we could not see what we were eating.

What I like most about Grasshopper is how unpretentious it is. It has taught me a lot about authenticity, simplicity, elegance and attention to detail, both when it comes to its food and the space. The recipes here use fresh ingredients that are innovatively combined, but nothing is overdone for the sake of it or an assault to the senses. The decor and music too are subtle and tasteful. I would definitely recommend an evening here!

Grasshopper is serving Michelin star food! Possibly one of the best fine dining restaurants in Bangalore. It is well secluded from the traffic and chaos of Bangalore, in Bannerghata. The servers are well trained and highly courteous, each table is decorated with fresh flowers and candles along with subtle ambient music and dim evening lighting, and the restaurant takes reservations only and provides a 5 to 7 course meal over 2 hours of service. It’s a great place if you really want a good culinary experience.

It’s my opinion based on my experience (as everyone has their own opinions): Occasion - anniversary Dine in for dinner. 1. Ambience and atmosphere - 4.5 stars out of 5.0 stars - fresh natural flowers on the table, candlelight dinner, silent and pleasant place - why 0.5 stars less (out of 05 stars) is that they can work on the background music, as it can be better. 2. Food - 2.0 to 2.5 stars out of 5.0 stars - quality is good with okay okay taste and quantity is not adequate - limited food menu - they have options only for welcome drink and desserts, and rest of the menu is decided by the chef himself - you don’t get to choose - and even in desserts with options, few options were not available then. 3. Price - 1.5 stars out of 5.0 stars - It is extremely overpriced - just because it serves European delicacies, it doesn’t mean that it has to be so expensive - yeah, we’re paying for the ambience, service and not food alone, but even then it’s extremely overpriced. Ps: washrooms can be better. Overall experience - Not worth the money you’re spending - can try once for the experience - 2.5 to 3.0 stars out of 5.0 stars.

Food was quite good. Had only the stuffed garlic bread and tiramisu. The outdoor seating is quite cool though. It's not dusty and the vibe is quite interesting, defo try that! It's like a balcony outside the first floor seating

Service: 4/5 ⭐ Food: 4/5 Reservation is highly recommended—without one, expect at least a 30-minute wait. The place gets very crowded, which also affects the speed of service. We ordered two vegetarian pizzas, which tasted great, but the bill came out to over ₹900. A bit pricey, and the service was slower than expected due to the rush. Overall, a good experience for the food, but better planning (and patience) is needed if you're visiting during peak hours.

This place was quite different from what I had expected. Quick and engaging. Highlight was garlic bread. Must try as compared to pizza. They engaged kids with pencils and colours while we could chat around. Accessibility to roof is tough. I prefer their AC place than outdoors.

Went to pizza bakery and ordered penne arrabbiata pasta, some chilli pizza with extra burnt run on top, hummus and pita and tiramisu cake with ice cream. Pasta was good and tasty, pizza was bad with extra burnt, i will recommend not to try flambe(rum with fire). Hummus and pita were bland. Tiramisu cake was not great. Overall not a great experience.

"Pizza Bakery is a must-visit! The Smoked Blue Cheese Garlic Bread was TO DIE FOR - soft, smoky, cheesy, and garlicky perfection! The rest of the menu didn't disappoint either, everything was delicious. Plus, the ambience was great too!

We had an amazing experience at the pizza restaurant today! We ordered the 12-inch Garlic Bread Pizza and 2 Veggie Garlic Breads — both were absolutely delicious, perfectly baked, and bursting with flavor. The garlic aroma and soft crust made it truly irresistible. A special shout-out to Boiton, Argentina, and Protima for their excellent service and warm hospitality. They made our visit so comfortable and friendly, ensuring everything was just perfect from start to finish. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food and great people!

After a long anticipation, I visited with my friend, I totally loved the pizza and pasta, we ordered the Italian Margherita and Fettuccine Aglio Olio pasta, Popo veggies delight, chamomile tea and A hot chocolate. I loved the Margherita. All of them were finger lickin good but there were no extra cutlery on table nor the tissues were kept which was quite disappointing but overall it was a great experience. I'm definitely going to visit again.
