But the real star was the Chicken Momos—juicy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the spicy chutney. Definitely one of the best momo spots in town. It can get a bit crowded during peak hours, but the overall atmosphere remains pleasant and inviting. Service was decent and the prices were fair. A little more seasoning in a couple of dishes would’ve made it a 5-star experience, but overall, highly recommended!

I recently visited Kunga Restaurant in Darjeeling and enjoyed a hearty Tibetan meal. Service was prompt and polite, though with the rush, a little waiting time is expected. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and quantity, making it good value in Darjeeling’s food scene. I visited Kunga last week and tried the cheese steamed chicken momos – the food was excellent. However, the staff’s behavior was not very welcoming. You’re required to place your entire order at once, as they do not accept additional orders later, which they mention while taking the order. Another drawback is that they only accept cash payments.

To date, hands down the best mixed fried rice I have tasted here. Usually, people stand in long queues to get a table. When I visited this place, I was able to get a seat in under ten minutes. Indeed, it is one of the best restaurants if anyone is visiting Darjeeling.

Rest of the food was delicious in taste. Ordered pork curry and the pork was uncooked. When I gave a feedback about it to the owner lady her reaction was not very impressive. She bluntly said you are the 1st customer complaining about it and it is like this only. It’s not good to eat uncooked pork at all. And the owner should be aware about it. Rather accepting it and giving such blunt replies they must accept it and correct it. Being a famous food joint doesn’t mean they are 100% correct.

Momos were tasty and wide variety of food on offer. Staff and owners needs to be courteous & customer friendly. Surprisingly restaurant was closed for lunch from 1.00 to 2.00. being a tourist location, people visit hotels for lunch.

cute place with a western crowd. little pricier than some of the other local places but a good meal nevertheless, owner couple seemed very sweet. only reason i’m taking one star away is the price and the fact that i’m usually full and satisfied for a long time after having porridge but ended up still being hungry and getting samosas after this one! taste was good though.

A pretty cute food outlet with limited seating arrangement has been serving great hospitality for around 20 years. The foods served here are simple but tasty. The hash brown is their main attraction and it tastes great with their special cheese. The toast is toasted in a crispy way and it matches perfectly with scrambled egg and butter. The coffee was also strong and stimulates the taste buds. In a nutshell, they serve good food and overcome their shortfalls with their hearty and warm behavior.

Sonam serves delicious continental breakfast such as banana pancakes, whole grain brown toast, oatmeal with cashews and raisins and honey, lemon, ginger tea. Her guesthouse, just up the hill, is a truly comfortable, private homestay experience with a private hot shower, queen size bed and a sunny terrace with large windows and a pleasant hill top breeze. Thanks to the energetic owner, I had a cheerful and enjoyable meal. I was lucky to arrive when it wasn’t busy, so my food came out fairly quickly. However, please note that the owner handles both the kitchen and the front of house alone, so there might be some wait during peak hours. The toasted bread served with the breakfast was especially delicious. But the true highlight here is the Darjeeling tea. make sure to give it a try! The aroma is incredibly rich and the balance is unlike anything I’ve had before.

We went here at the time closing at lunch hour. Loved the has browns. The pancakes were also great. The portions were big, plate of hashbrowns with eggs and toast, along with pancakes was more than enough for 2 people

Small eatery tucked in the alleyways of Darjeeling. The owner stole our heart with her lovely smile, cordial behaviour and interesting stories. The freshly made food (hashbrown and pancake) was really good. A must try whenever in Darjeeling. Special mention: Ginger lemon tea.

We had the best time here. We got a bunch of their desserts and baked. While most of them were quite mid, their pina colada pastry blew us away. Glenary’s Bakery is one of the oldest and most iconic bakeries in India! 🧁 It has an amazing variety of bakery items — we loved the patties, Danish pastry, and donuts, and their Berline is a must-try. There are so many delicious options to choose from. Though it was a bit crowded, everything was well-organized. The self-service setup with microwaves to heat your food is a great touch. A must-visit spot in Darjeeling for all bakery lovers!

We had lunch here Good food. Tasty. And definitely well cooked. Ingredients are also genuine products. Kid friendly, Family friendly section is also there. This is an establishment from the colonial era. You definitely get that vibe here. The interior decoration is nostalgic to say the least. The facades, the windows, the floor, the outdoor seating will definitely leave you with memories.

Glenarys, stands up to the hype. Atleast the aesthetics of the place and the food does. The service? Not so much. The restaurant is great. You get a good ambience, courtesy of the live music from the talented singers and musicians. We tipped one of the singers and he seemed genuinely happy and even thanked us. My friend, thank you for such a lovely performance! The place is nicely decorated, I'm sure everyone noticed that, but about the service, here's my main gripe. The person who handed us our menu and the one who took our order, didn't seem very professional. No greetings, no hello, what's your order today. The person just came up to the table without us calling for him, and stood there. We were a bit confused about what's going on but we were eventually successful in ordering our dinner. We got cheese balls for starters and they were delicious and for the main course we had plain rice and chicken reshmi butter masala. Each of those dishes were delicious and more than sufficient for 2 people, even 3 if you're not a big eater. The questionable service also comes in once you're at the bakery. Such a cumbersome experience packing something for the go, you'll have to run through hoops to have something packed and collected. The bill isn't included unless you ask for it and in our case, the wrong bill was, until I went up and picked up the correct bill myself. But again, the baked goods are 100% worth it. We had the Apple Pie, the Cheese Pie and the Lemon Tart. Each one fulfilled my expectations. Hats off to the chef!

I'm telling you briefly I've been there quite a lot times, their food's tastes absolutely fantastic. They are very consistent when it is about the taste, just perfect. Great place to have a quick bite . More famous for breakfast I guess. We grabbed lunch and it was all empty . Veg options are limited but i had the veg burger which was good , my son had chicken nuggets which more like fried frozen ones. My husband had a chicken burger which was pretty average as well . Overall great place to chill !

The vibe and the atmosphere, along with the food will make your day. Be noted that there is always a long line outside. The food tasted excellent. Do have any of their platter, don't forget the fluffy ice cream it is good too.

One of the most overhyped places in Darjeeling mall road. I visited this is place a couple of time, but the last time was bit disappointed. Every food in the pork platter was bit deep fried, wasn't suppose to be that deep fried. The ambience was too good, the view was mesmerizing ♥️

The interior is majestic with great seating capacity. They have live music as well. However, coming to food we weren't satisfied. Taste was okayish and the least scorer among all items would be the mixed fried rice. The music was also extremely loud. They have Indian, Chinese, Continental items in their menu. We had Chinese. We ordered Chole bhature, the order came - the Bhatures (2) was humongous, accompanied with some slivers of onions and pickle. We were able to consume only one bhature each ( we had ordered two plates), the chole could do better, cooked a little more and gravy little tastier. Even at 10:45 -September -the place was empty. Good for a quick time on or from Chowrasta.

Very crowded. No customer service( self service). Food bland. The serving portion is inadequate and no refill is there. Very expensive as per quantity of food served. Had opted for Choley bhature, but choley served was only adequate for a single bhaura...when asked for a refill they first replied yes but later denied. Ambience is great but a little customer centricity is expected.

*Disappointing Experience* "Unfortunately, todays visit was a letdown. The restaurant didn't have chilli mushroom and sweet lassi, the cold drink options was not there in the menu, I had to settle for cold coffee instead. However, the cold coffee was served without ice and wasn't cold at all. To make matters worse there was milk on the exterior of the glass, which made it hard to get a good grip

Ambiance is pretty good, setting area is also huge. We ordered manchow soup for starters. Soup was very basic. At the main course we ordered chicken fried rice & hot garlic chicken. Chicken fried rice : Rice was half cooked, lack of salt and taste was pretty basic. Hot garlic chicken : Gravy is not near to hot garlic, it's over sweeter and no taste of garlic flavour. Chicken was halfed before putting in the gravy.

Visited recently. This place is one of the best restaurants to have authentic Asian food. We tried the Thumbs Up, Paneer Chilli Dry, Crispy Corn, Chicken Ramen and Burnt Garlic Rice. Before coming to the food, let's talk about the restaurant. The interior is very traditional Asian looking with beautiful sculptures and paintings. The atmosphere is warm and chill. There is plenty of space for people and the restaurant is of two floors. You can take a lot of pics here. The service was fast, like our entire food came in 25-30 mins. The restaurant is very well-maintained, hygienic and clean. The food here is very simple. The prices are a little expensive than normal, but the taste makes it worth it. Coming to the food, the thumbs up tasted exactly like the thumbs up. The paneer chilli dry was very crispy and tasty. The paneer was fresh and it was perfectly coated. The crispy corn was crispy, juicy and also very simple, loved it. The presentation of the burnt garlic rice was nice, the taste was very simple and tasted best with the Manchurian gravy. But the dish I liked the most was the Chicken Ramen. You get Saucy Ramen with Fried Chicken, Cheese and Exotic vegetables. It was very unique and tasted brilliant. Overall, it was a great experience. Of you wanna try some authentic Asian food then you can definitely give this place a try. The staff is also very friendly. And do try the Ramen. Recimmended ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I recently visited The Park Restaurant in Darjeeling, and while it was a decent experience, there were a few things that could be improved. The restaurant has a cozy ambiance, and the service was friendly enough, but it didn’t stand out as exceptional. The food was good, but the portion sizes were quite small for the prices they charge. Given the rates, I expected more generous servings. The flavors were fine, but nothing that particularly wowed me. It’s an okay place if you're looking for a quick meal, but I felt it lacked the value for money that other places in Darjeeling offer.

Known for its Chinese and Thai food, its right opposite the landmark Clock Tower and its bright red hues of Chinese food won’t let you miss this restaurant. It has two floors and ample seating. It used to offer mountain views however, due to recent constructions it is not the case anymore. The staff here is friendly. The restaurant serves alcohol and has a decent bar menu. We had a couple of drinks here along with a Crispy Corn appetizer and Thai Street Style Veg Noodles with sauce.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE Went for dinner after seeing a few reviews that North Indian food is good. However, starting from staff behaviour to food everything was absolute dismal. They gave me a "half table" just beside the waste collection bin on the other side (see the attached video and photo). When I asked the waiter to adjust the table, he rudely stated that it would block their passage, where as there was a lot of space. I asked them to even shift me to an another table but they refused. The staff lacks professionalism, comeone man you are in a service industry. Coming to food, I ordered briyani, the moment I did I knew it was a blunder, given the place and restaurant type. But still that was not even 1% of what a briyani should be. They literally fried rice with chicken in a lot of oil, pathetic. Never going back nor would I recommend. If the manager is reading this, please take notes you are in service industry and in service people matter a lot.

We were a group of three and it was a week day and mid Jan being off-season Being a week day lunch time, there was enough seats available. We were greeted at the gate and chose our seat. We ordered Fresh Lime Soda(₹70), Crispy Pork Cellari (₹320), Cantonese Chicken rice noodle (₹ 220 ), Chicken Grlic Fried rice(₹ 230) and Chicken Chilli Dry (₹ 350). Quantity of the preparations was descent. Pork was the best of the lot, nicely crispy with chopped Onions and capsicum. Other dishes are as usual, nothing special. Service was good. You may try if you are visiting Darjeeling.

Mainly a Nepali restaurant serving a variety of dishes with preference to Nepali cuisines. They have a number of famous pork dishes (although we didn't try any). Tried their Chicken Momos. Disappointed as per Darjeeling standards. Just an average one. A bit costly vis a vis quality and quantity

Penang restaurant is famous for the nepali thali. We ordered chicken thali and veg thali. The chicken thali had local chicken curry which was very tasty. The special dish was their gundruk which is a fermented leafy vegetable prepared like a soup. Really tasty. Service was prompt as well. Ambience honestly is nothing to talk about but it was clean. Cost was four hundred per person.

One of the gem in darjeeling.Neat and clean restaurant kitchen. Food is Nepali and traditional style . I took fish and it was really good .The momo was good . Our team took mutton thali and chicken thali . If you are looking for bengali style mutton chicken , you will be disappointed. Their mutton pieces are with fatty skin , in every bowl of mutton they give chusta or similar piece. One might call this place a hidden gem. A little walk down the mall road towards Darjeeling station this won't be the first choice of many who go by outside appearances. Inside, however, this place is comfortably decked with a laidback charm and gentle instrumentals. The food is scrumptious and the bar menu is decent as per the price tag. The crowd mostly is local though one never feels out of joint. Penang should be among the top priorities for those who want to experience Darjeeling as it actually is, unadorned with all artificialities, resplendent with her own beautiful people, music and food.

We came here a few years ago and loved the thali. But this time around it felt like the food quality had gone down. The meat was not very tender and the caramel custard was grainy. It wasn't the same experience as we had earlier which had drawn us to this place.

Those who are visiting Darjeeling or planning the same in the coming days, please do visit this Tibetan Restaurant, not far from Mall road, tucked in the little corner of rock ville road, offering Tibetan dishes. We had Chicken Thukpa, Chicken Choupsey and Chicken Momo. Taste of chicken choupsey was too good with ultra lite Chicken Thukpa added more flavour to the already overloaded tastebuds. Their service was satisfactory and ambience was also lovely.

Usually tourist go to the well known places to have food. But this is one of the hidden gem. It's rating is also good and also they make very tasty food. We ordered glass noodle and chilli chicken. Both dishes are very tasty.

One of the best foods I had in darjeeling, people are very sweet and service is top notch. Had Thukpa, chilli chicken, Veg momo and cold coffee and everything was damn delicious. Visit this place if you wanna have tasteful food.

You will get large variety of tea over here you can also enjoy the first flush here with your breakfast. Go try it👍

The staff was extremely informative and helpful. Even with our vague requests, they managed to come up with the right suggestions from among their wide variety of tea leaves. The shop wasn't crowded and if you chose the right time, you could drink great tree with a view of the mountain ranges. Pretty good darjeeling tea experience.

Amazing Place. Became one of our favorite places to visit in Darjeeling. The staff is quite nice and gave us time to explain the different varieties of teas(we were ignorant). Try the Highland Tea here(their suggestion, became the best we tasted ever). They serve the tea in a nice fashion and we had sort of a mini tea serving ceremony held each time. The pastries are quite nice to go alongside the tea. Pro Tip: After entering, you will find a little stairs just after the cash counter, go downstairs to get the best views(won't be disappointed, I promise). Note: We went during the off season.

This is Natmull's outlet in Mall. They seemed to have moved from the other side of the Mall to where they are now, near to Cafe Coffee Day. Now you get a clear view of the dark green hills and if the weather is clear, you get a view of snow capped mountain as well. Natmull's, as you can expect, has a great range of tea. Indulge yourself in trying few of those before deciding on what you may take away for home. Their bakery items are good too. Also, you may buy gifts - tea, tea pots etc.

Nice place for a tea lover who understands tea which isnt me. So they allowed us to taste two types of of tea to help us make a choice. The ambience is nice for a coffee shop and the staff helpful. They also send tea via mail order if you email them back.

The must visit tea shop in Darjeeling. It is located just at the Mall. Ask for recommendation the staff and they will happily guide you. Bakery items are quite good.

Sunset Lounge of Nathmull’s is located at Chowrasta at the end of the Mall. One can also call it The Tea Bar as you get to sample a variety of Darjeeling teas before deciding which one to buy. They have a bewildering array of Black, Green and White Darjeeling teas varying in price from ₹400 per kg to ₹30000 per kg. One can also sample the aroma, texture and colour of the tea at the display counter. We relaxed in the Sunset Lounge, which had glass top round tables and cane chairs, adjacent to the Tea Bar, and sampled a cup of their Green Tea which they served up in a transparent tea cup, at a nominal price. One can also order snacks like muffins or pastries to go with the tea. On a clear day one can get an excellent view of the Kanchenjunga mountain and the sunset from the window. One can also buy some memorabilia and tea accessories like decorative and useful tea pots and cups in ceramic as well as metal. In addition there are fancy strainers and Tea Cosies. We purchased some packets of Green and Black teas, and souvenirs like fridge magnets and keychains with the tea motif, as small gifts for our friends back home.

Visited Dekevas Restaurant after hearing great reviews, but the Dragon Chicken Bao didn’t meet expectations. The bao was soft and nicely made, but the filling was overly sweet — lacked the spicy, balanced flavor I hoped for. Good ambience and service, but this dish was a letdown.

I visited Dekevas in September 2025 and tried the Chicken Japanese Ramen (₹280) and Chicken Steamed Momos (8 pieces – ₹170). The quality and quantity were satisfying, and the taste was quite authentic. Overall, I was happy with the food and would definitely recommend visiting. The restaurant is conveniently located in a prominent spot – just beside Kunga Restaurant and opposite Kev's. The seating area is a bit congested, but it gives off a cozy, homely vibe, much like a friendly family gathering in the hills. A nice place to enjoy authentic flavors in Darjeeling.

I was intrigued by the Korean word “식당” on the sign, so I decided to check this place out. The restaurant offers a variety of Korean and Tibetan dishes. I ordered the pork bibimbap, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The meat was tough and had a strong smell. One of the vegetables possibly carrot was extremely salty, to the point that I could feel texture of actual salt crystals, making it hard to finish the meal. If the server or the owner asked why I left the food unfinished, I would have gladly shared my thoughts in person. I feel a bit sorry to leave this feedback in a review instead, but I hope it’s taken as constructive.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely slow and the staff seemed completely unattentive. The food was mediocre at best, but the most serious issue was finding multiple hairs in our chicken momos. It was an unacceptable and clear sign of poor kitchen hygiene. Between the bad service and the unsanitary food, we definitely will not be returning. I would advise others to dine elsewhere.

This small eatery is very popular and needs no introduction. The place being small has a waiting time which depends on the time one is visiting. Has few tables but the food is served hot and fresh. It's affordable and pocket friendly. The people serving are also very warm. Would definitely visit again.

It’s a cute little place on the Mall Road . Food is amazing and very authentic and true to the taste! Service is quick and easy ! Food is prepared pretty quickly and served hot ! We tried the bibimbap the first time and it was amazing .

Very good food. Clean and cozy. Variety of noodles, fried rice, gluten free glass noodle, shapta, bao. Cooked in Tibetan, Korean with local flavours added. Meats contain chicken, pork and beef — you can have your choice. The open kitchen gives you a glimpse of what food they are preparing for you. Reasonably priced. Note of caution: Payment only by cash, no cards or UPI. Digital India doesn’t work here. 😀

Sandwich was just okay. Aloo paratha was below average. The biggest letdown was tea and hot chocolate. In places like darjeeling, you'd expect genuine tea, not machine-made abomination. The worst part is they don't specify it's machine-made. The service was slow even though the spot was not packed. The servers/cooks seemed slow to understand, and prepare the food. Could be an option for people who prefer to eat at a completely vegetarian spot, which is difficult to find in darjeeling. I wouldn't visit again, though

It is One of the very few (or Probably the only) pure veg Cafes in this area. Though the staff was not so welcoming but the food was nice. We ordered Dosa and Aloo Paratha. Only machine made Tea, Coffee is served which was again a let down. Could be a safe option for pure vegetarians.

One of the only pure veg cafes around the area and it actually serves quite good food, especially the pancakes with chocolate sauce(highly recommend) and the coffee (highly recommend), the Darjeeling tea was quite good as well. Also had their chole bhature and pav bhaji which wasn't the best, it lacked spice tbh. The white sauce pasta was good(quite home-y), the margarita pizza was another good item we had. Talking about the service, they were quite fast but the woman on the register counter wasn't as welcoming.

Frank Ross Cafe and cafe with American name, and prices, but a total disaster. 4 friends and I went there for lunch, as we were hungry. It w as a total chaos. We didn't know and were not informed that the order has to be placed at the counter, paid for, and then collected. So totally self-service. I had to go back to the counter to figure that out. After placing our order, I observed one of the wait staff come and clear the next table in an interesting and efficient fashion. He just used a wipe cloth to clean the table and throw it on the floor. I had to ask the manager for someone to come and sweep up the floor. Another guest of mine observed, one of the wait staff lick his fingers and primp up his hair while checking himself out. The person making the paneer pizza, shredded paneer on the pizza dough, store bought I am sure, and then picked up the paneer that had fallen on the counter and put it back on the pizza. While there we observed another interesting interaction, where one of the guest complained about the sweet corn and vegetable soup that didn't have any vegetables. Unfortunately, one of my guest had ordered the same. So when it came she had to search for the vegetables and the sweet corn, as it was so sparse. Definitely avoid this place, if you can.

Ordered for Mushroom soup. Instead of serving fresh they served Knorr packaged soup worth ₹40 and charged us ₹170 for it without information that it is packaged food. When I recognised the taste and confronted the lady in the reception, she completely ignored us and behaved rudely. We also ordered for complete Indian breakfast with the soup which includes tea with it. But the counter refused us the tea saying we did not pay for it. Cheating the public!

We ordered dosa and it was very tasty, the sambar and chutney was equally good. But one onion mashala dosa would not satisfy your appetite.

Their extensive veg menu sounds great for vegan people, but the price to quality/quantity ratio will not put a smile on their face. We tried their Pan cakes with honey and butter toast. Both of them were okay but really expensive. Also, they don't have a washroom which is quite shocking.

Good music, decent ambience, I like the coffee but what I loved most is that in this town that once had peace and style, it's now no longer the same. Himalayan coffee thankfully has a space where you sit at ease, read a book, write or just be. But just keep in mind .. they don't have a washroom.

It’s a very nice place to have food, coffee and deserts. It’s not very crowded so that is one my favourite points however I am not sure what it's like in weekends and public holidays as their food and the menu is amazing. We had iced capuccino hazelnut latte, cold coffee, chicken club sandwich and chicken burger all the items were tasty and delicious and the staff are very courteous. However I feel you need to have a dedicated washroom for your customers.

It is a cute cozy coffee place in the Mall area. Less crowded compared to Glenarys but has a very pretty ambience. We ordered three coffees, walnut brownie and a burger. They tasted nice. Service was nice as well. Overall the whole thing cost us a thousand rupees.

SUPERB!!! I highly recommend the cafe in darjeeling. They serve good coffee, breakfast, pancakes, cheese cake and english breakfast. All dishes are super delicious. Their service is also good, and the staff is very courteous. In one word, must try for every one. We ordered all day breakfast with black coffee, veg sandwich with french fries, french toast, oreo chop cake, classic darjeeling tea, watermelon juice.

This place is very conveniently located near to mall road, it's a hidden gem tucked on the first floor of an establishment, you can acess it via stairs just beside golden tips tea tasting place. They serve amazing coffee and you must not miss their cookies. With a plethora of all day breakfast options this is a place must visit for me and my wife. Their coffee has a very nice roasted flavors to it which is pretty unique and will give off a boutique coffee experience, It's somewhat closer to Subko blend of coffee.

I was genuinely impressed. The flat white was excellent smooth, well-balanced, and full of flavour. You can tell they know their beans and take the craft seriously. A hidden gem for anyone who truly appreciates good coffee.

Himalayan Coffee offers a delightful experience for coffee and dessert lovers. We tried their Apple Pie, Cafe Mocha, and Iced Mocha, all of which were excellent in taste and quality. The ambience is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax. The staff are friendly and attentive, adding to the overall charm of the place. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Darjeeling!

It was a pitstop for us the first time, but the beverages were so amazing that we added this place to our list for a second visit. If you are in Darjeeling you must try this place. You'll love it! Like we did.

If you're into Starbucks, and fancy joints, read no. further. This unassuming place is off the governor's house, on the road. It seats 36 people, including outdoor and indoor tables. Their momo is superb, so is the Darjeeling tea. Price point is extremely reasonable. The view from the outdoor seating area is breathtaking. And there are cats.

A must visit if you are in Darjeeling. Way better than all the other recommended places. A fifteen mins walk from chowrasta. Head here for great views of Darjeeling. One must get a table outside. It's owned and run by an old couple. Perfect place for momos and coffee.

Probably the best vegetarian momos in Darjeeling. They’re juicy, and the chutney is spicy - makes for a great combination. Frequented by school kids, which should also tell you about its VFM. They serve both steamed and fried momos. Outside and indoor seating are both available, and if the weather is favourable you can get a good view of the mountains. Check out this place after a visit to the zoo and HMI, both of which are at a walking distance.

This place is very close to my heart. Every time I visit darjeeling I must visit this place. Aunty is very much polite and soft spoken to us always. Momos here is a must try.

This is a small but an outstanding cafe on the way to the zoo to spend time and relax. Here we got the authentic flavor of Darjeeling tea and momos and the soup was delicious. We enjoyed 'B for T' a millet beer served in a bamboo glass with a bamboo pipe. Also the owners of the cafe were very courteous.

Awesome cafe. The old lady there was too sweet and the taste is marvelous with just a simple lower price. We took black coffe, tea, pancake with honey Thukpa and chow wai wai. The wai and pancake was just yum being homemade. This place has a nice scenario available as well.

We were drawn in by the retro-style exterior, but overall, the food was a bit disappointing. In particular, the chicken momo had pieces of ground chicken bone in it, so my friend and I had to stop after just a couple of bites and unfortunately couldn’t finish it. The thukpa reminded me of a Korean-style radish leaf soup (시래깃국) which I personally enjoyed, but those unfamiliar with its herbal aroma might find it a bit off putting. The fried noodles were okay. The owners were kind and the atmosphere was nice, but sadly, I wouldn’t be able to strongly recommend this place to others.

It was a small food joint where Nepali and Tibetan foods were available, we tried their chicken momo, egg chowmein, egg fried rice, dry chilli chicken, chilli pork dry and pork curry. The foods were beyond expectation! One of the best pork curry I tried there, the pieces just melted in my mouth it was too yummy, chili pork was very well cooked and equally delicious, dry chilli chicken was a bit different from other places, I liked it very much, and lastly the momo was also excellent. I would love to recommend this place to everyone who like to try good food in cheap price in Darjeeling. If you can ignore the ambience this is one of the best place to have Nepali and Tibetan Dishes. The owners were very very welcoming and also friendly. Really liked the place. Hope to meet you soon.

Chicken momo was soft, moist and served hot. Dada was polite and friendly. It was nice having food from here. Also had fried rice and chilli chicken but did not like the taste of both. Fried rice was bland and chilli chicken was not spicy at all.

The staff is doing great ,but we had to stand in the queu for so long then enter and wait again for another 40 min for just momos that ended up not so great tastes bland no seasoning just salt other than that shape was good and well steamed ...i don't know if we came in a clogged hour but that's how it went

This restaurant is located in the centre of the city. They served good food . I ordered pork sapta. It was average. But chicken soup, tawa roti, and paneer preparation were amazing. They take their last order at 8:30 pm. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant atmosphere was amazing.

It's a nice cozy place,but the food quality is not really that good. It's more like average or in some cases bad. We have ordered some chicken dishes but the chicken are deep fried which turns it into very hard to chew. The location is perfect. Really hope they improve their food quality a bit. They don't really have special dishes from the chefs as such. Ambience is good for family. But again for the food it's a thumbs down.

As I am from Gangtok and this was my 1st experience in Kalimpong town. The ambiance was too old and faded, seems not painted since decade. Sofa and chairs was of primitive types. Overall restaurants was old and not maintained. Staff was well and responsive. It was good experience. Edible was fine. Not too costly. It's good to go with friends and families.

Maybe it's the best place in the town to hang out. This restaurant is situated at the center of the Kalimpong. The ambience is nice, sitting arrangements are very comfortable, they have offered a variety of foods and drinks and price is moderate. But don't expect much than this. The taste of the foods isn't good enough and the quality and quantity is not value for money. Don't not try any of the rice items at this place, they have mixed noodles with the rice and called it rice-noodles! All you can do over there is just to have a glass of beer and enjoy the ambience as well.

In the heart of the market, has its own hotel for accommodation. The staffs are courteous, nice ambience. The food needs a lot of improvement. Had veg mushroom soup and chicken combo. The soup was kinda okay, nothing special. The combo want not nice, too spicy

The waiters are very nice, helpful and polite. The place is big with a nice bar, and some antiques to look at... it is In the heart of the town yet peaceful. The food is not bad but spicy. The cocktails are very good, considering the fact that Kalimpong is a small town. Rooms are affordable, clean, hygentic. The restaurant is not very expensive but the service is a little slow but it is acceptable as the food is mostly fresh.

Considering Kalimpong pubs it's pretty good. The ambience is all laid back and retro pub kind with old school music. There is a provision for dj but we weren't lucky. The food is spicy and tasty with pocket friendly booze rates. Only expect city view from the windows. Hookah is not available if your are expecting. Locals considering as a family restro come bar.

Warning ⚠️: This place is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! It will set a high standard of food, drinks, service, and ambience that will be hard to match anywhere. The staff is wonderful, sweet, and highly professional. The cafe is full at times and the promptness and precision with which the staff here manages no mistake is absolutely wonderful, shows their experience. Kudos to their ethic. Beside wonderful service, who doesn't love a good pasta/burger and a lovely iced americano with Etta James, Pink Floyd, and Jazz playing in background while you have mountains in front of you? If this is what you want, I cannot get tired of recommending this place. Thank you for a wonderful experience in Kalimpong and such high standards that most cafes in the country would only envy.

Just LOVELY. Absolutely THE BEST CAFE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO (and I have been to many cafes all over the country). So affordable, such a vibe there. The staff is amazing and so polite. Time and Money well spent 💙

Excellent hotel right in the heart of Kalimpong town. The rooms are well maintained, comfortable to stay and has all basic amenities. The hotel has its own parking space which is rare in hill stations. There are a lot of cafes and pubs in walking distance from the hotel. The staff are very polite and the owner is a fine gentleman who is always available and very professional. Would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Kalimpong.

It's a lovely cafe on roof top place with great view food not so top notch but they are ok except pizza everything is good especially mocktails they are awesome.

Had an amazing stay with my family and friends at Golden Peaks Hotel, Kalimpong. The owners and Hotel staffs are very polite and extremely cooperative. The view from the balcony is simply amazing. I would rate the Hotel 5 out of 5.

The food was excellent. But they take a lot of time to serve it. But the quality and the quantity of the food is top class. One must dine here once you visit this place. The scenery during the evening was very good. Do try their BB King Burger. It's one of the best burger I've had. Better than MNCs like KFC, McDonalds etc.

We popped in here looking for a snack and some drinks after we were tired and cold from walking around in the dark for a while. We feel like we wasted our money and we ended up buying alcohol and snacks, which we took back to our room for dinner. We tried to order Old Monk (rum) and Coke. They didn’t have any rum. So we tried for the Carlsberg (beer) - all out. We were going to just leave but my son had ordered a plate of chicken wings, which is not something you want to order here or in India in general, but kids don’t understand that. So French fries and Budweiser was added in. The fries were great! Better than the last place we ordered them, but the wings were awful. They were soggy and skinny. Felt like there was more skin than meat. We didn’t even eat them. Plus we couldn’t even hear each other over the karaoke, even though we were way in the back. Just wasn’t a good night for us at this place.

What a wonderful place! The ambience is so good. There were two singers who sang so well. Also the food was amazing. It’s at the prime location and very nice. Best would be the chicken tikka kebab. The main course is not that tasty but still okay. Starters are very delicious and staff service is good. Interiors are great.

Ideal place for party lovers.. good food at affordable price. With live music, most of them are dance numbers. You'll definitely enjoy this place if you are an extrovert. But not recommended for families with children. Otherwise good.

Beautifuly Located on the turning on mall road overlooking the large platform on mall. This place offers a nice ambience for a relaxing evening. There is live music on the first floor and an open space if you wanna shake your hips. If you need a quite time then you can sit at the ground floor. The price of alcohol is okayish and not super high like most other joints on the block. The food is good in taste and the quantity is also nice. We ordered Chinese mainly. Like mixed fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. We liked the taste. The ambience is really groovy and the walls are by pictures of some of the greatest musical personalities. The remain open for around 11pm.

Restaurant is situated just on the darjeeling mall. Its a huge restaurant with bar facility. Live music is like icing on the cake. In terms of food, the taste is good if not wow. Recommended for one evening.

Wonderful Experience Near Batasia Loop! Had an amazing time at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The place also offers a lovely view, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal after visiting Batasia Loop. The staff were very polite and welcoming, which made the experience even better. A special mention to Puja, who served us with such warmth and professionalism — her service was truly pleasant and added a personal touch to our visit. It is my pleasure to have my lunch here. Food taste is very good in the heart of Darjeeling. We haven't plan to have a great lunch but somehow we found a good restaurant with a great view. Everyone can bring their family and friends to spend a good quality time here.

We visited this place for lunch. Got a table with a nice view. The food here was average. We had: Veg thupka- This lacked flavour and I would not recommend Chole with lachha paratha- The parathas were great. The chole was good too. I would recommend this as a safe option for vegetarians The extensive non veg menu can be a put off for pure vegetarians. Staff is very sweet and helpful.

The food was very delicious but the service was a bit late in our case (5-10 minutes post the recommended time). Ambience is top-notch with a breathtaking mountain background as you look through the window. Washroom for men may feel a bit off.

A charming spot nestled beside the river, Chillout has potential to be a lovely getaway. The food was enjoyable, and the swimming pool adds a nice touch to the ambiance. However, reaching the place can be a bit tricky due to the narrow approach, and ongoing renovation work does affect the overall experience. With some polish, it could easily become a go-to destination in Dudhia. For now, it’s a decent stop with room to grow.

The place is aesthetically beautiful. The food was also pretty good. The service was not bad. The staff were very polite. But a lots of drunk people were creating chaos in the swimming pool. So not recommended for a family time.

Had amazing breakfast. Food was really good . Pool charges was ₹300 . Must try Alu paratha if you are visiting for BF . Try to avoid in Sunday for the rush & crowd.

The ambience of the place is really good and it definitely lives up to its name - it's a great place to chill out with friends or family. The food was delicious and the drinks were great too. The staff were really friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and relaxed evening out. It's definitely worth a visit!

Chill Out is a decent spot for a relaxed outing, which accommodates all age groups starting from children's, bachelors, couple, Friends, Families and groups. The pool and garden seem like a nice touch for Instagram-worthy pictures. The food could be better, but the overall experience was enjoyable with soft music and different dining options along with drinks. Swimming at pool is chargeable for adults 300₹ and for children's 200₹.

Good place to hang out. Great service n the food was quite okay too. The price is reasonable as well. I hope they have some tubes available for people and kids who don't know how to swim but still wish to get inside the swimming pool. The place is well maintained. The pool, the washrooms are clean. Overall it's a good place to spend the day or evening with friends or family.

A Memorable Stay at Arcadia Resort! We recently stayed at Arcadia Resort for two days and were thoroughly impressed. The property is exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated, creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. Having just come from a stay at Sterline Darjeeling, I can confidently say Arcadia stands out — thanks to the personal touch, delicious food, and the warm hospitality of Mrs. Anandi, our gracious host. She made us feel truly at home and went out of her way to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. We genuinely enjoyed every moment and would love to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and heartwarming getaway!

If you are in Darjeeling and are on the lookout for a property with a great view and ample parking space, I suggest look no further. This property offers incredible views of the mighty Himalayas whilst being very luxurious as well. Stayed here for two nights while riding with my friends through Darjeeling. The approach terrain is a bit tough but the property is equally rewarding. The food here is a tad bit expensive but really tasty and service of the staff is really the star of the show. The rooms are clean and there is ample space in the property to take a walk too. Looking forward to stay here once again.

A Memorable Stay at a Beautiful Heritage Property We stayed at Hotel Arcadia Heritage Resort in Darjeeling in mid-April 2025, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. The resort is located uphill, offering a spectacular view of the Kanchenjunga mountain range right from our room — something we’ll always remember. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained, and the overall heritage charm of the property really added to the experience. It’s a 150-year-old property rich in character, with elegant architecture, vintage-style furnishings, and a warm, inviting lobby and dining area. We stayed for four nights and five days, and this was our toddler’s first hill holiday — she’s just one and a half years old — and even she thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings. The staff were extremely courteous, attentive, and quick to respond to any requests we had. The food was excellent, and the resort is conveniently located about 3 km from Darjeeling Mall, making it easy to explore nearby tourist spots while still enjoying the calm and quiet of the hills. Yes, it’s a bit on the pricier side, but considering the ambiance, location, view, and service, it was well worth it. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this resort to anyone planning a peaceful and scenic getaway in Darjeeling. We’re already looking forward to returning someday. We checked in on Jan 30, 2025. Room 103. The road to the hotel was done, but on arrival, we were told only the bungalow had a bathtub, which was occupied by the owner's friends. One of the reasons for selecting the location was the show of bathtub in its amenities. Our room had a broken shower, flickering lights, and loose floorboards. That evening, the power went out, and the bed warmers stopped working. We were moved to another room (104) where things worked, but the next morning, there was still no electricity, so no WiFi. By 11 AM, even the geyser, lights and bed warmers stopped working. We had to wait until noon for buckets of warm water, and when I entered the bathroom, there were worms under the stool. The food was good, staff is polie and accommodating, and view is great ; but maintenance work made the experience noisy. They stated that most hotel in Darjeeling would be under maintenance in Jan end and Feb. We weren’t informed about this when we called before booking—despite mentioning it was our first wedding anniversary and wanting a great experience. We booked through a third party that is coordinating with us for an early checkout. The hotel understood the issue and we're cordial. The issues should resolve soon since they were already under maintenance.

The outdoor seating and sun terrace were perfect for soaking in the stunning mountain views. Its proximity to attractions like the Japanese Peace Pagoda (a steep but manageable 20-minute walk) and Batasia Loop (1.2 km away) makes it convenient for sightseeing.The only minor drawback was the shower pressure, which could be improved for a more refreshing experience. Additionally, Darjeeling’s traffic situation can be challenging, especially during peak hours, and the resort’s location on a steep uphill road may require a cab or the hotel’s arranged transport, as some drivers hesitate to navigate the incline. However, the resort’s staff efficiently arranged drivers, making this less of an issue.Overall, Arcadia Heritage Resort is a gem in Darjeeling, offering exceptional value for money, outstanding service, and unforgettable views. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Queen of Hills and would love to return for another memorable stay.

If you’ve been missing the old China Garden, Hong Kong Restaurant is the place to go. Located just opposite China Garden, this spot brings back that familiar taste and vibe that many of us grew up loving. The menu is quite similar, and the flavors are comforting and authentic, just like how they used to be. Portions are generous, making it great value for money. The only downside is that orders can take a bit of time, so be prepared to wait—but honestly, the food is worth it. The seating is simple and old-school, exactly like the classic setup at the old China Garden, which adds to the charm and nostalgic feel. One important note: they don’t accept online payments, so make sure to carry cash when you visit. Overall, if you’re looking for a no-frills, satisfying Chinese meal with a taste of the past, Hong Kong Restaurant won’t disappoint.

Located in the 1st floor. This place is for authentic Chinese food in kalimpong town. Mostly occupied by local people. Very good service. Very good taste of every items in reasonable price. Special mention is Hongkong Friend Chicken in starter.

Wonderful new spot on the map of Darjeeling. Very friendly service and delicious cuisine. Highly recommend to try local tongba. Even though location on the 3rd floor may be discouraging I recommend climbing up. It was definitely one of best meals in nice atmosphere of all the places that I have had pleasure to visit.

The ambience was lovely. The owner and staffs are very friendly and cool. You must try the nepali thali, we tried the superhot nepali chilli. But what you must definitely try is the traditional nepali drink 'Tongba', a millet based alcoholic beverage. The rates are reasonable and this is close to the Mall.

Really good food prepared with love. You can tell that this place is different from the myriad restaurants in Darjeeling out to make money off of tourists. The brothers who run the place put their heart and soul into the place. Chicken momo and Nepali Thali recommended. Didn’t get to try the Mutton Thali which is only available on Sundays but that should also be great. The location very hidden for tourists and I had to phone them to show me where the show is. I think they will get more customers if they move their location for sure, but maybe in the future.

During my recent visit to Darjeeling, I had the pleasure of exploring the vibrant and exciting street food scene of this beautiful town. One of the most memorable experiences I had was eating Chowmein late at night, surrounded by the bustling energy of the town. It was well past midnight when my friends and I decided to go out and explore the streets of Darjeeling. Despite the late hour, we were surprised to find that the town was still alive and buzzing with activity. Street vendors were still open, and the smells of delicious food filled the air. We stumbled upon a small street vendor selling Chowmein and decided to give it a try. As we stood there, eating the steaming hot noodles under the dim streetlights, we were struck by the energy and vibrancy of the town. People were still out and about, enjoying the night and each other's company. What I loved most about the experience was how the street food brought people together. We were standing there, eating alongside locals and travelers alike, all of us united in our love of delicious food and the excitement of the town at night. The Chowmein itself was fantastic, with perfectly cooked noodles and a delicious blend of spices and vegetables. But what really made the experience special was the atmosphere and energy of the town. It was a reminder that food is not just about sustenance, but also about community and connection.

Mostly fried fast foods available here . Momo is must try and 99.99% shops sell that . You can have Chilli Chicken dry , Chicken Ball , Chicken Wings , Chicken Leg and Chicken Pakora as well . Price ranges are between 50-150 mostly depends on food item .

The worst restaurant in Kalimpong. Highly, not recommended. Only for pork thukpa and pork momo for 8 person we spend 3800/- 😳 As sick as a parrot. It's not Gompus Restaurant rather it should be Barbaad Restaurant.

The restaurant is not well managed. The toilets are not maintained and dirty. The food is not good. We ordered chicken and pork fries and both were hard and not well cooked. When asked about the food quality we were told that the chef is getting impacted due to the temperature that's rising during the day hence he is not able to put good efforts in cooking. Ridiculous place and not recommended.

The best veg restaurant for sure. The food, the ambience, the hospitality was top-notch. For us who are non-vegetarians, liking a veg restaurant that to on this level is really commendable. I don't know the name of the guy who served us but he was amazing, very patient. For starters we had tandoori platter, dahi sholey kabab, and for main course we had paneer kurchan, cheese naan and masala naan. All of these were very tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We went there during our travel back to njp Station. Our driver suggested this place. We liked the place. Family friendly place, staffs are very polite. The manager behavior is so nice, polite and tried his best to arrange all asks by children. Environment is beautiful, only negative thing noticed little space issue..table placement little congested. Food was excellent. We tried different mocktails, kebabs, chicken and mutton side dishes with naan and khulcha. Chicken and mutton dishes was so tasty. Only thing i didn't like the chur chur naan and amrisari kulcha. Both are not up to the mark. We can far better chur chur naan and amrisari kulcha at any dhaba. Their chef need to check this preparation.

This is very good Punjabi restaurant in Siliguri. It was nice ambience, slow music and courteous service. I tried Mutton Rogan Josh, it was nice and sufficient for one person. Their Malai Kulfi is must try, it felt very natural and was delicious. Price is also reasonable.

Definitely one of the best places for North Indian/Delhi style food in Siliguri. Ordered the butter chicken with butter Naan/Tandoori roti with seekh kabab. The butter was sinfully delicious 😋. The kababs were great too. The Naan was buttery and went along great with the butter chicken. The place was almost packed even around 9.00 pm which is a positive sign about any restaurant. The orders took time but were worth the wait. The service was polite and friendly. The ambience was great too for a family restaurant. Will be back for more.

Yesterday to have my Birthday Lunch we chose punjabi kadhai . After a long time we visited there and the whole experience there amazed us. First of all we loved the service there. Specially @ratulkumarroy looked after us like a family member. We didn't have any bad experience for that. Then comes the food 🤤 we ordered 1. Coke 2. Chicken seekh kebab, 3. Laccha Paratha, 4. Masala Kulcha and 5. Bhuna Mutton. We loved all the food. It was too delicious to describe. The mutton was my personally favourite. I loved the soft juicy and spicy mutton. The ambience was peaceful and beautiful to enjoy the time with your loved ones. Overall My birthday went quite well and Thank you punjabi kadhai for making us feel so special and valued.

Cinnamon terrace @ The Marriott in Siliguri is definitely worth checking out once at least. The view from the 14th floor is especially great at night when you can see the lights of the city and even the hills on a clear night. There is AC seating inside also if required. Items are high priced as would be expected from such a well located place. There appears to be too many servers who seem to be more worried about positive reviews that mention their names rather than giving the guests their own space. One thing they didn't teach them in their hospitality training is when to step back and stop being over attentive. I hope they are paying attention to this review now too 😉 The food quality and presentation is very good as expected with some innovative fusion food also available. If you're common folk like me, it's worth just one visit. I will come back in winter though on a clear day when the snow might just be visible.

Finally Siliguri gets it’s authentic dining venue.. a different food menu thn the regular we have seen here in Siliguri! The Indian fusion foods are scrumptious. With experienced Chefs like Chef Manoj and Chef Inderjeet who brings the finest Culinary expertise to the table! Their Naan pizza which is a fusion of Indian & Italian Pizza is to die for! A must visit 👌

Horrible service, zero knowledge of hospitality, okayish food, roof is leaking, never come here on weekends ul need to wait 15 mins to even see a waiter around your table, beware guys it just looks and charges like a 5 stat hotel but in reality u can compare it to a local dhaba with just a couple of waiters handling 50 tables.

We visited twice for dinner during our trip to Darjeeling, and the food was absolutely amazing. They offer a variety of dishes, including rotis, Darjeeling specialties like momos and tupka, South Indian options like dosa and idli, as well as North Indian dishes. What really impressed me was the dosa – it was incredibly flavorful and definitely worth recommending. We tried momos, masala dosa, plain onion dosa, tupka, bonda soup, and idli – all of them were delicious! The restaurant is located on the first floor, and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend this place, especially if you’re a vegetarian

This is a pure vegetarian restaurant located near mall road and I would recommend this restaurant for vegetarians especially. We ordered masala dosa, chopsuey, veg chowmein and the taste was okayish. Well the pure vegetarian restaurants are very few in number and it becomes difficult to find the restaurant too . Therefore this restaurant can be visited and I hope you enjoy their meals. The worst restaurant I have seen in darjeeling. Rude behavior of staff with very much attitude and ego. All reviews are fake. My family had gone 3 to 4 times and last time we gone I asked for lemom and the manager said we will not give rudely. We had lunch at Lunar restaurant couple of days back . I must say it is one of the best food we had in recent times ..paneer pulao was super tasty and so was chowmein and other food we ordered. A big thanks to Bandhan for taking good care of us and serving us yummy food .

I think it is an overhyped place. The taste of food is not up to the mark. The food is too oily. I tried marshmallow hot chocolate which was ok ok type. Only taste of the sausage was good.

We went there for breakfast. A cute little space with a few sitting. We ordered their breakfast platter, hot chocolate with marshmallow and Darjeeling tea. The breakfast platter was okayish but the sausages were the highlight. Soft , juicy and perfectly spiced. The hot chocolate was also a good choice. If anyone comes here don't forget to try their sausages. It is a win win deal.

This is one of the well known cafe. They serve great burger and hot chocolate. But we were too full to have burger or hot chocolate. We tried black coffee which is good and very strong. But I think the price is little bit high for a place like this. Next time will try the burger and edity review if required.

Each table is uniquely designed—one with currencies from around the world, and another with handwritten reviews from past customers, adding a delightful personal touch. The menu offers a wide range of options, from Tibetan Thenthuk and Thupka to Korean Ramen Bowl and Bibimbap, and even Chinese Chowmein and Chilli Chicken. For those with a sweet tooth, there are pancakes, waffles, and hot chocolate that kids will love. We tried Chicken Thenthuk, Chicken Bibimbap, Tom & Jerry Special Brunch, Hash Brown, Waffle with Honey, Chicken Omelette, and the Ginger Honey Lemon Tea Pot. If you are going towards Darjeeling, this is a well known place. The view from this place is just outstanding. But you have to have at least 2-3 hrs for the dine in. The waiting here alone is more than 1 hrs during busy times. The food was okay okay. We ordered hot chocolate which was not up to the standard. The chicken hotdog was not that good also...very rubbery feeling. And the pan cake was downright uncooked properly and was very hard. And everything was very very expensive. Overall if you want to visit there mostly for the breathtaking view then go for it! But don't expect too much from the food itself.

I had heard a lot about the place having excellent view and it really does. The view is amazing and especially witnessing the sunset feels really good with a cup of hot darjeeling tea. However, that is the only good thing there. We ordered two pots of tea along with one French fries and a chicken sandwich. God knows what was the problem they faced with this simple order, but we weren't served the food till 30-40 mins after the order. While the ones who joined at the same time as us were served on time. The tea was served but not the food. We had to eventually ask them to cancel and they immediately cancelled without any second question. As if they were waiting to cancel the order. So my recommendation would be go for the view and tea but good luck with food.

A fantastic cafe located on the mountainside offering great food at a reasonable price and fantastic views of rolling hills and tea gardens. The cafe is located right on the main road and one can also catch a glimpse of the toy train from here. It offers a vibe of the colonial era and is aptly decorated. The staff are very professional and polite and service is quick. The food quality is awesome and portion size is a bit small but the pricing is very reasonable. The washrooms are very clean and well maintained. Only drawback is sometimes people have to wait outside to get seats. Highly recommend the Chicken Imperial, Pork Sausage, Bacon and Hot Chocolate.

In the early 20th century, the estate was managed by Mr. Cruickshank, whose daughter, Margaret, fell deeply in love with the beauty of the land and promised to return. Tragically, she passed away on her journey back. In a heartfelt tribute, the estate was renamed "Margaret's Hope," ensuring her memory lived on amidst the rolling hills and tea gardens. Margaret's Deck is a must-visit destination in Darjeeling, offering the best views of the tea gardens and a stunning sunset. I highly recommend visiting at sunset—the experience is absolutely worth it. I visited this restaurant on Bengali New Year, and I was truly impressed, got really lucky. The food was exceptional, good range of vegetarian food, and Chef S. Sarkar personally came to our table to explain the various Bengali dishes. His passion for the cuisine really shone through, and it made my experience even more special. It truly made my soul happy! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Bengali flavors.

Delicious food in buffet dinnar with panipuri, chaat, continental dishes, live pasta, indian foods with mutton biriyani, chicken chaap, chicken kebab, fish fry, lots of sweets and ice-cream. We booked the PDR hall beside Siliguri Kitchen for a meeting and party, and it's a good place for that. We enjoyed the service from them. There is adequate sitting arrangement and the service also good. We recommend it.

Worst food service in industry, shameless staff and management. Serving Fish in vegitarian menu and also in buffet they keep fish as a vegetarian dish and putting green dot of vegitarian identity on it. Don't know if they are doing intentionally or by mistake. I had informed the f&b Head,even he don't know how to control staffs and floor management. Staff response is worst than road side dhabba people, only well dressed but purely shameless staff

We had one of the best times, hosting our son's first birthday party here. Ms. Subina and chef Subhamoy Sarkar were instrumental behind the success of the event. Ms. Subina coordinated the decor, service, and everything else so perfectly that we barely had to do anything. And Chef Subhamoy is the most humble and amiable person I have ever met. He has an amazing talent for preparing speciality dishes. We had made some requests regarding certain bengali dishes with specific requirements and left the rest of menu to Chef Subhamoy's ingenuity; the result of which was sublime! The food turned out amazing, for which we would like thank him again from the bottom of our hearts. And lastly we would like to thank the rest of kitchen and hospitality staff members and the singer with such a beautiful voice who took care of us and our guests and made us feel warm and comfortable like family members. I am a regular at Siliguri Kitchen and have no doubt in admitting that its my family’s favourite eating joint. The entire staff, from head chef to the stewards are extremely helpful and friendly , which elevates the already great food. Although we have enjoyed their various food festivals, but the Bengali Food Festival week which ended on 15th April was simply out of this world!

The rooms are really good. The service is horrible. We got just one towel in the beginning. Didn’t even get a hand towel. We had to ask for it. We received it shortly. Next big blunder was with the breakfast. We booked the room with breakfast. In the morning when we went for breakfast we were told breakfast wasn’t complimentary. I called up their call centre to find out, but got no help at all. Went to the reception, who was busy doing some work. After 10 mins of argument he allowed us to have breakfast until the thing was sorted out. It got sorted out after 20 mins. I was also asked NOT put bad reviews for this mishap. We had a flight to catch for which we got delayed because of this. In short, booking team and reception guys do not have proper communication. It was horrible experience for a traveler. Management should look into this with utmost priority. Next, when we returned to our room after breakfast, our door was blocked by a mattress. Which we had to remove it ourselves. Not a big deal. But this matters. These small things matter when we pay good enough amount to stay in a hotel. Management should look into these petty matters. Moreover, never ask the customer to put good reviews after your bad service.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant ! Although reaching the restaurant was a bit tricky, the prime location and overall experience made it absolutely worth it. The restaurant is pure vegetarian, and I must say, the food was delicious. I ordered the Manchow soup—it was perfectly flavored—and also tried Indian cuisine, which was among the best I’ve had. Special thanks to the staff: PRATIKSHA, MISS TENZING, MS. JYOTI, and MR. PRAMAN. Everyone was very courteous and professional, especially Pratiksha, whose warm welcome and polite behavior stood out. Highly recommended! If you’re in the area, do give this place a try—you won’t be disappointed.

The route to this restaurant is a bit challenging. Cars don’t reach here, so you will have to walk. However, be rest assured that good food is awaiting you. We had the malai kofta and loved it. Staff is very warm and welcoming too.

Very helpful staff, staff is very careful about choices and focuses on individual experiences and goes above and beyond to make your stay better. They offered special water melon pieces to my kid(who loves watermelons) even at night when it was not in their routine menu. And the restaurant food and the anniversary devoration was very good. I came across this restaurant via Google and I am very happy that I tried this pure veg restaurant. The staff was very polite and friendly. Specially Sang Lamu , she was very good. I totally recommend this one for veg option. Other staff members Tenzing,rabin and pratiksha were also present at time of my dine in, they all are well behaved and friendly with my kid as well.

Staff behaviour is too good polite and homely feeling. The food quality and test is also good, specially I recommend Tandoori Roti , jeera rice, paneer kurchan, Assorted Tandoor and the most part is Black Tea . Once you try this you can't b ignore. Absolutely odd place in the middle of the city, but it was a good reprieve from the standard Indian fare found elsewhere. The crispy noodle salad was good but the corn fritters was a little salty and over burnt. The pork chop was very fatty, but the burger was delicious, meat patty could be juicier. Nevertheless a great place to visit. One bad thing was we waited one hour for our burger, and we were the only table around. It seemed that they have priority to the takeaways.

Awesome place, this place has the potential to become one of the best places to eat in Siliguri. Continental/ western/ Chinese dishes in the Menu are fabulous they even have some Italian Dishes. Beautiful place to have dinner. Few things that make me come to this place repeatedly are, Ambience, Cordial behaviour from the staffs, Excellent collection of music. Right as one enters, will find graffiti of M Jackson beside the bar, and while looking around, Marley, Rolling Stones and many others will set the mood in as you can find Deep Purple to James Blunt buzzing in your ear. It is a continental restaurant. And you won't be disappointed with the food. Neither was I. All the food I've tried so far did not let me down. They have started with live music (like a pub) in the weekends. I have visited couple of times, both in weekdays. Never found it to be crowded. And never had to wait. While paying bills, they provided us with a free coupon for the next visit (may be due to promotional offer, but like forever, gifts make us happy, don't they 😇). This restaurant is little expensive, but is worth every penny for all the class experience they provide. It'll cost you somewhere around ~1.2k for a dinner for a couple (without drinks).

Food is bit on costlier end but tastes good . Maybe I was the only one and there are no option like half plate . Authentic food. Reasonable price. For years, this place has enjoyed popularity among the locals. And it recently gained all the deserving attention and praise from the tourists. We had noodles, chicken, and rice. All were tasty and freshly cooked. There is a bakery as well; however, we didn't get a chance to try it. The location is also prime, inside the Capital Market, adjacent to the taxi stand.

From the moment I stepped into Santa Banta Dhaba in Siliguri, I knew I was in for something special. This good old place gives a nostalgic feeling when entered. Butter toast and omelette along with a hot cup of tea or coffee help in long term discussions on any topic. A typical cabin to sit and gossip around. Would have given 4 stars but a rat seen roaming around inside has brought a 3 star rating to the place.

No frills breakfast place that offers Omelette, coffee, tea, buttered toast and half boiled eggs. The menu is not huge and that's why they are good at what they do. Being a bit old, the place may look shabby but the food quality is good. Nothing extraordinarily but you'll love the old world charm and perfect breakfast food

We were looking for a place to have evening tea in Bidhan Market when a passerby suggested we try Netaji Cabin. This place carries its own history and has that old-school vibe. As usual, we climbed up the narrow wooden stairs to the first floor and placed a simple order — two bread toasts and two regular milk teas ☕. The toast was fine, but the tea was a big disappointment 🥶. It was overpriced and the taste was nowhere near worth it. After just two sips, we left it unfinished. Honestly, our first experience here wasn’t good at all, and it didn’t live up to the hype.

Netaji Cabin in Siliguri is an iconic spot known for its heritage and old-world charm. I had heard a lot about its historical significance and reputation as a local institution , and are totally undeniable, but the hygiene standards leave much to be desired. The food has a certain nostalgic appeal, the smiling and ever cheerful staff makes you smile but the cleanliness of the premises and could be significantly improved. Despite its heritage status, the awards , the lack of proper upkeep detracts from the overall experience. It’s worth a visit for the history and local flavor, but not if hygiene is a top priority.

A heritage eatery inside the Hongkong Market of Siliguri. I visited there and tried out Butter Toast, Coffee & Two Boiled Eggs. The taste of the toast was good, because it's made from good quality butter. The eggs were normal in taste and the coffee was on the bitter side, served in a glass. The restaurant is a bit cramped up due to lack of space. However, they do have another floor upstairs to accommodate more people. Overall, it's a decent breakfast restaurant.💙

The worst Chai I ever had. I had high expectations for Netaji Cabin, but sadly, it didn’t live up to the hype. The food was average at best, lacking the authentic flavors I was hoping for. Though the ambiance gave the vintage look but it didn’t feel worth the price. I was disappointed and wouldn’t recommend it .

The fish and chips are a must try. The spaghetti was tasty as well. When went for lunch here. The prices are a bit high here but the taste of the dishes served is reallly good. The fish of fish and chips was tender and well cooked. It tasted heavenly. The fish just melted inside the mouth. The size served was also too good. The spaghetti served was also tasty but the quantity was bit less. Other than that the taste was top notch, no complains about the taste and the quality of the food. We also tried their fried ice cream which was also good but the outer coating could have been as the ice cream was already leaking through the cracks. I have tried fried ice cream before also where the coating needs to be really well done so that the ice cream don't leak. The ambience is good and also they have enough space for friends and family group dining.

I would rate this restaurant 3.5stars. Ambiance was pleasant and warm. They have decent seating capacity. Went on weekdays so the restaurant was pretty much empty. Service was quick and staff were quite confused about their menu. They had hard time recommending their best sellers. Food was average. Their fish starter were really soft but too flavourless and side salad was bland. Their Continental sizzler had chicken prawns and fish with noodles/rice of your choice. The sizzler was just a showpiece the chicken, fish and prawns were precooked in a close to similar sauces and the noodle was basic. Blue lagoon was quite nice and refreshing but the sweet lassi was just Sweet Curd not worth 160₹. They gave complementary papad chutney which was the only thing i enjoyed the most. Over all ambience is good but the food is average for the price. Wouldn’t recommend.

The Restaurant is nice. Perfect for a Family and Couples. Ambience is very good. Had Butter Chicken, Biryani and Chicken Keema Kulcha. The dishes was very good. One can even have Wine and Beer from the varieties. I recommend everyone to give a go and enjoy the cuisines 👍

My hubby is regular visitor of this place and he took us there for dinner specially for their Sorse elish....and I must admit, it was so yumm. Perfect place for nice fine dine with family.. ambience is very calm, prices are reasonable but little improvement is required in service. Overall it was a nice experience. Chelo kabaab was quite good but scope of improvement is there.

Very tasty and fresh food. Fish items are very good. Also mutton is very very soft. Overall food is very good and too much tasty . Highly recommend

Nice soothing ambience and descent lit arena with proper table edicates and the servers here are just wonderful and have great memories it seems. I just want to say that, in addition to a nice meal, we had a delightful service. They had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. The waiter recognized that we wanted time to visit and did not rush us. She and other staff members made certain that we had everything we needed. Kudos!

The restaurant is on the third floor of the building at City center, near the Decathlon store. The restaurant is well lit, the staff friendly and polite. It is a non smoking establishment. A good place to visit with your family. The rates, of food and alcohol, are quite reasonable too.

Cozy neat and clean rooms with all amenities. Even a bed heater is present. They have a very pretty restaurant in the hotel as well. Since hotel is present at the basement there are a a lot of stairs which will be a problem for the elderly people but manageable for youngsters. Darjeeling mall is just 5 mins walking from the hotel. Overall had a very nice stay.

Golden otchid located on narrow roads, diffucult to reach . Vehicles not permitted to reach hotel. Very pathetic service, intercom not working, TV not working, no person available at reception at even 8 am , minor thins like tea pouches, soap etc not provided. Don't even think of staying there

Great room and service but there's a big network issue in that hotel...in my experience airtel works a little bit but jio doesn't at all

Very greedy and poor management. They don't provide refund even on humanitarian grounds and expect us to visit when there are travel advisories against traveling to flood and landslide hit areas

It is a value for money stay if you want to spend more than two nights in the central area of Darjeeling. It was recommended to me by a friend who had earlier travelled solo.

Best in Darjeeling. The food is very nice,the staff and the rooms are great. Very affordable yet the rooms are like 5star hotels.
