One of the oldest restaurants with rustic feel. When you visit here, you tend to go back in time as if time has not moved to next century. You will find people of all age here but mostly the older ones, in love with the place. Menu, price everything has an old charm. Go here with no expectations and you will be pleasantly surprised.

While in Shimla, I was attracted to this restaurant, because of its name India Coffee House, a very famous joint in Bangalore. The coffee house is famous as a breeding place of several political & cultural personalities and movements. This one in Shimla is predominantly dominated by the locals and senior citizens’s meeting place. If you want to know anything about Shimla, its shops, important local joints etc, you can easily find the answer if you visit here and talk to any of the local groups on different tables. Unfortunately, I was completely disappointed with the quality of the food served. Just one coffee is good enough to judge. The coffee was just pathetic, it was more of thin milk & water. One of the worst coffee that I ever had so far. And I found the place very unhygienic. After I sip, I left the coffee and got out since I could not tolerate the stink inside the restaurant and never entered again during my month long stay. Very disappointing experience !

It's an old to very old place, a favorite of senior citizens who sit there for long leisurely catch-up chats whether over coffee, vada sambhar, dosa or whatever their choice. Very few kids, young guys and gals seen. Service is as leisurely, not for those in a hurry for a quick bite+coffee, so better be prepared. It's like a local nukkad chaiwala, but large format with tables, chairs, stewards in white and red uniforms (not pristine), you get the whiff of it. Being a South Indian, I wanted to try authentic Himachali food in Shimla. After going through multiple reviews and recommendations from friends, I decided to try their thali meals. The staff was very welcoming, cordial, and helpful. They even helped us in choosing the right thali. The food was really good and offered a unique taste. The place might find a bit tricky to find and might even seem small for a restaurant. But everything is neat and clean with a good ambience and lighting. Note: South Indians might find the rice and curries a bit different from what we’re used to, but it’s definitely worth a try for the experience.

Tried the Himachali thali at Himachali Rasoi in Shimla. The food tasted fresh with a noticeable clove flavor. There are two options: half (₹233) and full (₹333). The full thali includes unlimited refills, but the half doesn’t, and the portion felt a bit small for the price. Sharing isn’t allowed. Overall, slightly pricey but the taste and quality were really good.”

Although DHAAM isn't that awesome as one can find it in villages, still one of the better places to enjoy authentic mandyali/kangri dham.

A very cozy and bright little cafe on mall road Shimla. It was 2 floors + a rooftop searing option. Their staff are very friendly and pleasant to talk to. Loved the service. Menu is also diverse and have a lot of options. We had pizza slices, penne white sauce chicken pasta and a falafel wrap. The cafe looks onto the mall road as well setting a nice ambience. Pricing is also very apt, not too expensive, definitely a must visit place

Amazing experience at this cafe. We chose to have brunch two days in a row at this pretty cafe. Located bang in the middle of the mall road with a beautiful view of the town hall. Day one we had the English breakfast and savoury crepes. Both were outstanding. Day two was Mexican chicken and Nutella waffles. Again it was amazing! Staff is welcoming, the view is fantastic and food excellent!

I was trying to find a place to eat in shimla and it was super hard but then I found this restaurant. Of course it was worth it the pasta was soft and flavorful the fries felt like you were in potato land (crispy too). The Noodles were right and yummy to eat. Lastly the honey chili chicken and Nachos was on top it was. Flavorful and delicious. The coffee and chai was also tasty. The only problem about the food is the lack of effort put into the pizza it was not flavorful and kinda lacks with pizza around India. The service was also super fast and the live music made the restaurant even better.

A great restaurant with fabulous food, in the Mall road main Chowk, in the form of a cave. Govt run establishment, but they served us with love. We reached there around 9.45pm on 14th Sptember 2025 and were served hot, tasty food. The staff were really warm and friendly. The food was very reasonably priced and flavourful. It’s managed by Himachal Pradesh Tourism (HPTDC) and has been a favorite among both locals and tourists for many years. The restaurant is split into two levels – Goofa (underground) and Ashiana (upper level). The building itself is a beautiful British-era structure with arched windows and wooden interiors. The architecture and design give it a historic charm, and the views from the upper level are amazing — especially at sunset, when you can see the hills and rooftops of Shimla glowing in golden light. The menu offers a mix of Indian, Himachali, Chinese, and Continental food. I tried the Himachali thali, which was delicious and unique. The tomato soup, pakoras, and tandoori trout were also really good. The prices are reasonable considering the location. Absolutely Horrible Experience — Stay Away! I have no idea what the hype around Goofa Ashiana Shimla is about — this place was an absolute disaster from start to finish. We were made to sit at a filthy, uncleared table and kept waiting for over 30 minutes. Despite repeatedly requesting someone to clean it, the staff casually told us that if we were in a hurry, we should leave! Imagine hearing that when half the restaurant was empty. After escalating and waiting another 25 painful minutes, a waiter finally showed up — only to refuse to take our full order, saying he’d only note two main dishes. The sheer arrogance and indifference were unbelievable. We were even told to go and explore other options outside the restaurant The entire experience was a mix of rudeness, filth, and zero professionalism. Not just disappointing — it was infuriating. If you don’t want to ruin your day and your mood, please don’t waste a single minute here. Shimla has plenty of better places — this one is definitely not worth your time or energy.

If you wanna enjoy good food, nice ambience, it's the right place. They have very polite staff, good services. The price is little high but justified as it's a tourist place. You can also enjoy hard drink here. The single serve is suitable for a single person only or you can say 2 serve can accommodate 3 person. This place is suitable for kids and food is fresh and tasty. Its clean and service is also fast enough. If you come in evening late hours you might get lucky to grab a table. They also have a party hall in basement which can also be a good place for a get-together.

A really nice bar if you like to enjoy your drinks without any loud music and too much crowd. This place mostly has one or two tables empty to host your gang. The food is decent enough, nothing spectacular. But the ambience is nice and they have most of the options readily available from their menu.

We went for the breakfast menu, they didn’t have the north Indian one available so I got the Eggs with sides(2/10) pale looking scrambled eggs, burnt sausages, weird hash browns with 2 slices of charred tomatoes. It didn’t even look appetising. We also ordered non veg club sandwich (worst 0/10). If I could use one word to describe it, it’d be disastrous. Thinnest slice of egg and the tiniest amount of chicken with burnt and bland fries which felt like they were cooked in extremely used oil. Service was mid (had to raise my hands for 3-5 mins for someone to notice and alert someone else). The place looks fine from the inside and has a nice street view but the food is insanely horrible and extremely overpriced for the quality offered. I do not recommend.

A bit pricey for type of cuisine and sophistication of the cook. Tasty oriental cuisine, but standard fare I have had at 50% the price at metros (Rs 250 instead of Rs 525). Ambiance is nice. Service was a bit lacking. Would have liked being served and provided water refills without having to ask for it.

Only good thing was LUCCHI rest all was overhyped. They gave everything with chana which was simply bland to me. Yes they are iconic. Lucchi and chana was good with all the chutneys. Reaching them is easy just nearby to the Ridge and Church. But only Walking no vehicle allowed. Hygiene was far far away. Service was ok. Visit if you want to go to iconic places. Rest it's just normal.

A reasonably priced eatery at Lakkar bazaar famous for Chole and luchi. Food is excellent and cheap. Service is fast although seating is limited.

Tried their chole kulche and the taste was really good. Special mention to their khatti meethi chutney it added great flavor. The plate cost us ₹80 and the portion was good enough for two. The only concern was hygiene, the owner was serving everything with bare hands and using a single cloth to clean surfaces, which didn’t feel very clean. Taste-wise, it’s worth trying, but hygiene could be improved.

Very poor experience — the vendor lacks basic customer service manners. The shop is extremely disorganized, with the same person managing both service and billing, causing long delays. Hide out cafe is, afterall, known for its service more than its food but food is decent as well. We ordered White Sauce Pasta, Vegetable Garden Pizza, Veg Schezwan Noodles and in drinks Shirley Temple. Food was decent, good for the price.

I recently visited Hideout Cafe in Shimla and had a delightful experience, especially with their pastries. I tried the truffle, red velvet, and butterscotch pastries, and each was exceptionally delicious. However, the fruit pudding dessert fell short of expectations. Despite this, the overall ambiance of the cafe is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax. I am from chandigarh and every time i visit shimla, i always visit this cafe for my coffee and truffle cravings. The owner is very polite and listens to you. The staff is also well trained for good customer behavior. My coffee expectations are always high and this cafe really understood my preference and worked accordingly. Lemon chicken is the star.Rest is average. Methi chicken can also be tried. Tea was hopeless. Home made aachar is always very good. Ambience is ordinary. Washrooms are average. Lemon chicken is again the star. Tandoori chicken is just average, though soft and tender. Paneer pakodas were good and the green chutney. Had today Lemon chicken as always n paneer bhurji. Bhurji was good though i didnt expect it. Today we had lemon chicken, which is always the best, palaak paneer which was good and tea. Tea this time for a change was good. Normally its very strong truck drivers type. Another visit- Lemon. Chicken and Daal makhani were too good. We stopped at Giani Da Dabba on the way to Kasauli. The paratha were amazing! We also ordered tandoori rotis and butter chicken. The butter chicken wasn't too impressive. Too tomatoyi.

I recently visited Giani Dhaba for lunch, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The food was below average in taste and quality — not what you'd expect from a place known for flavorful dishes. On top of that, the prices were surprisingly high for what was served. For the quality of food served, it definitely didn't feel worth the cost. This Dhaba used to be known for tasty food, but it seems that standard has dropped significantly.

Too much bad experience in this dhaba. Nobody takes the order on time. They took order after 20 minutes then the order will come after 40 minutes our one hour are totally wasted to this place.

This cafe location is so beautiful! The view is stunning. There was only one person who took order and served and hence everything was too slow. The food was below average. As most of the dishes were not available we ordered pizza which was too bland and we couldn’t even finish it. The place has so much potential.

A little cafe just walk away from Jakku Temple. It has breathtaking view and food was decently good too. I had Kashmiri khawa which was nice and staff is polite too. You can visit here for the serenity and a good cup of coffee.

Well located in the ramparts of Jakhu Temple. Very friendly staff and prompt courteous service. We ate in: tomato cilantro, cream of tomato with croutons and hot and sour soup. Excellent flavorful and the latter perfectly crunchy. The idli sambhar was good. Music and ambience was very pleasant. Memorable for us.

Cafe Under the Tree is located near the mandir and has a very peaceful charm to it. The overall views from the seating area are really beautiful, making it a nice spot to sit back and relax for a while. The host was warm and welcoming, and the staff was polite and helpful, which added to the experience. We ordered a pizza, fries, cold coffee, and hot chocolate. While the presentation was decent, we found the taste of the food to be quite average compared to the ambience of the place. However, if you’re visiting mainly for the vibes, views, and a quiet setting, this café definitely delivers. Giving two stars just because of the location, and the stunning views this cafe provides. Went here on a weekend, the place was completely empty, hence I got a little skeptical at first. Ordered a latte along with classic fries. Coffee was below average for the price, didn’t had any taste or whatsoever. Had to ask them to do it again. Fries were served without even salt, which was disappointing. You can definitely skip if you’re hungry!

Situated right behind the famous christ church of mall road shimla. 1. Tasty food options are available both veg and non veg. 2. View outside the restaurant is totally obstructed with electric poles. 3. Since IPL season is going on, the place screens IPL matches, with full on commentary, totally killing the natural vibe of the place. 4. It has good beer options, I tried apple cider and IP. IP is great if you are a beer lover. Apple cider is too tangy. 5. We also had Thukpa both veg and non veg, and korean chicken wings. 6. The place also offers hukkah, 1400/- for 1 hour.

A must visit restaurant in Shimla. While searching for offers on Swiggy we found this amazing restaurant. We ordered the apple beer, mezze platter, smoked chicken tikka, spinach and mushroom baos and chicken momos. The quantity is so good and totally worth the price. Overall had an amazing time there, as i went there with my husband to spend our evening! Just had a minor inconvenience with the waitress… as we were moving out after having our food….my husband and i decided to click pictures near the lobby, she arrived there and started humming a romantic song & smiling at the same time- seeking my husband’s attention towards her which i felt was inappropriate! Visited the Brew Estate Microbrewery Shimla recently. The place has a great vibe and an ambience that draws you in. So much so that we ended up visiting it consecutively for 2 days. The food preparations are highly recommended. Their menu covers quite a variety of flavour palettes and almost every dish shows effort and perfection. We appreciate the services provided by Ravinder ji and Ms Neha who personally reach out to customers taking care of their needs. Highly recommended when in Shimla for a good time

This is a wrong choice if you are here for beer or food or anything for that matter. The beer is medicore at best. The lager is not supposed to taste sour but it does. The wheat beer does not have any taste of wheat. We ordered the veg pizza. It was filled with mayonnaise and oil (as seen in the photo) which tasted bad. For the price, it is shitty.

A cute small bar cum restaurant on the mall road. Visited here after a week of trekking in the Himalayas to binge on some calories. Slightly on the pricier side but the food qty and service is good. A good place to also catchup with friends and spend an evening sipping beers sitting on the balcony

We ordered a vegetarian Lebanese platter. This came with hummus; beetroot hummus; baba ghanoush; mayonnaise; pita; a salad of chickpeas with tomato, onion and cucumber; and three items which had a distinctively East Asian flavour to them: skewered grilled mushrooms in a soy sauce glaze; something very like sesame toast but with a vegetarian filling, and another crunchy vegetarian ball with a sweet-sour glaze. These weren’t horrible, but they were certainly not what we expected in a Lebanese platter. Also, service staff were inattentive. We accidentally spilled a drink on our table, and had to mop it up as best as we could with paper napkins because the waiters were too busy watching a cricket match on the TV!

The flavors were enjoyable and refreshing, especially with the pleasant hill weather adding to the vibe. Texture was creamy enough, though I felt it could’ve been smoother and richer. Nothing stood out as extraordinary, but it was definitely satisfying after a walk around town. Overall a nice treat in Shimla. Worth trying if you’re around, but not something I’d specifically go back for.

Embassy ice cream is the best ice cream parlour on the mall road and a must try. They have plenty ice cream options but the chocolate ice cream cone seems to be their best seller. Price is quite reasonable.

It is a road side shop but so so good with their products. The chocolate crunchy ice cream is too good... Also the slushies and thick shakes are a must try.

Best and old Ice cream shop located on Mall Road Shimla. Their choco crunch softy is realy nice, the taste and thickness of the ice cream is too good. Their Sundays also very nice. They also have other bakery and snack items. I have not tried it, but you can definitely try. Must visit ice cream shop, if you are in Shimla.

The ice creams are above average, but their choco-crunchy cone (Rs 80) is the highlight. A little crunchy and chocolaty on the outside and creamy softy on the inside is my favourite.

Just the best place to have sundaes, especially their choco brownie sundae, it's so delicious and you'll never regret eating it. Try out more from the menu and specialities. I love the place, i would never miss it if I'm in Shimla or nearby!!!♥️

Also, Non-veg pieces and other stuffing were less in the pizza. Staff is busy talking amongst themselves, service is fine.. STAX should not be charged as the service was not upto the mark.

A tiny place in the bustling mall road street with amazing pan asian cuisine. We were tired of North Indian food and wanted to have something else so we decided to come here. We had the Thukpa, mushroom bao, honey chilli potato, vegetable tempura sushi and Thai curry with rice. Everything was really nice and the service was good too, polite and kind staff. Would definitely recommend this place! Couldn't take more pictures cause we hogged up the food too quick.

The view was really good from this place, but when the waiter came to take the order, he didn't seem very polite. We ordered one veg pasta and a Bombay special sandwich. Waiter asked if we wanted veggies in the pasta, and we were like it is a veg pasta so it has veggies no. But he said it's extra for veggies, we were okay with that. But when the food came both the items were not upto the mark as they were priced. Pasta sauce was too liquidy and the Bombay special sandwich had only boiled potatoes filling. We were really hungry and had to eat that. Though really disappointed, the ambience of the place didn't match the taste. Heavily priced compared to to the quality. Won't recommend this place.

EverythinG was going great with Masala Maggi and the serene vibes, but the moment that Cheese Maggi arrived, the taste and smell of cheese took out all of my mood and thinking of my mind whether I get the bad batch of cheese maggi, or did I forget how it’s supposed to be prepared! Kindly, recreate the taste of cheese maggi and also improve the cleanliness a bit especially the glass at outside sitting area Sometimes, a 4.7 rating isn’t enough to keep a customer who could have given you a perfect 5.

This places has exquisite views if you opt for outside sitting. Service is really good. Staff are courteous. Food is not very tasty and something I would recommend, but they had the courtesy to replace immediately when I complaint. So that was good. But I did not like the cake shake or the waffles. Rendezvous Bar & Restaurant don't know what is Biryani, in name of biryani they will give you fryed jeera rice with vegetables.They have only online menu card which some time not get detected due to network issue and their wifi is not good. Had seen long queues of vehicles outside this shop whenever we went to Shimla or Chail or Kasauli. Twice last year could not find any parking place nearby so I skipped this place. But today got and opportunity to stop and check out the place. Observations: UNCHI DUKAAN PHEEKA PAKWAAN. tried their most famous kulfi which is overtly hyped. Cost Rs50.00 whim you can get for Rs 20-30 anywhere else. Nothing out of the world for such price. Sweets : Tried kalakand which was finished but they scraped 100 gms from the tray and gave it to us. Cost Rs 60.00 for 100 gm. Was okay but sugar was too much for our taste. Other sweets like laddu and barfi were also like you can get at any sweet shop in your city. Overall would not recommend this overly hyped over expensive place.

Shimla Chandigarh highway I am sitting at the venue right now It’s 16th July 2025. No comments on sweets as I have not tried but Food is very bad. Bad service. Only using disposable cutlery. Service- only one person to take orders and he is the only one to serve also. So much delay. Food - I ordered veg chopsee. Late service and too much spicy. It was spicy like hell. We complained about it but no better response and at reception we received a message from the cook or chef that we make like this only like it or not. That’s was epic. Anyways after that much spicy food Next we ordered rabri faluda but served faluda kulfi. Next is serving …. They are using small wooden spoon to even serving and eating both atleast to serve provide proper crockery. Everything is disposable plate spoon glass serving bowl that’s too much. It was my first and last visit. Thankyou ishar sweets. For this experience. Your kalka old small branch was much better in service and for kulfi.

The quality of their products is very good. They are long time in this business and have perfected in making sweets. Their kulfi is driving people crazy. Any one trying it once comes back again. This keeps their counter busy all hours. They are efficient in service. We look forward to the new restaurant on the top floor and wish them equal success in this venture. Idhar Sweets located on Busy Road just ahead of Toll Plaza.They Specialise in Sweets ,but have Small Seating s First floor serving quick snacks. Most of items we wanted to eat were not available ,hence opted to below items. Pav Bhaji -Good in taste ,masala was rich with flavour.Must Have Chole Bhature -Again Good Chole served with Paneer Gallop on top.Must Have Pani Puri -Will not recommend to anyone here. Lastly -We had Rabdi Kulfi , rasmalai and Kesar Kufli.This all were rich in taste and would Recommend to have it. Overall -Service can improve,Food which was served was good in taste .

Ishwar Sweets and Restaurant Near Me : This is very famous kulfies shop between the travellers . At the evening so much crowd here because of travelers and long drivers. They have a variety of kulfi and faluda flavours. The price is reasonable. I absolutely love their seasonal flavours and all time favourite flavours of kulfi. Staff was very polite and helpful. Wheelchair accessible parking 🅿️ but few stairs to enter in the shop and restuarant.

They don't pack take away food properly We ordered dhokla as take away what we found the packing was improper it was leaking the packet spoiled my clothes as well as car seat covers . We stopped by here on the way to Shimla for some tea and food. The Dosa, channa bhatura, tea and other dishes lived up to the Gopal sweets reputation, but I did not like the service. The worst were the toilets, which is also one of the reasons people stop at such services. I wish more care is taken in maintaining cleanliness in the restrooms. So for this reason my rating would actually be 2& 1/2 ⭐️

It’s the crappiest place. Most horrible food, doesn’t even know what Punjabi food means nor what Punjabi hospitality means. The service is the worst, very rude and head strong staff including the manager. Never ever order South Indian as it’s crap and not sure how they can mess up their own cuisine as well as all other cuisines… The manager, or not sure if he’s the owner, irrespective, he/she should never be in a hospitality business as they don’t understand the meaning of the word. We had an absolutely terrible experience at Baljees Shimla. I booked a room through their website, and due to some glitch, it got booked for the same day instead of the future date I intended. Unfortunately, I missed noticing that at the time. But when I reached the hotel and explained the situation, they flat-out refused to adjust the dates. Fine, I get it every hotel has policies, and maybe it was partly our mistake for not double-checking the date. But what followed was absolutely unacceptable. I requested to at least see the available room so I could make a new booking, and the receptionist who was outright rude and arrogant showed us a pathetic room and said that’s all they had. No courtesy, no basic professionalism. On top of that, when I asked if we could at least avail the breakfast that was included in our original booking, he rudely denied that too. The whole experience was infuriating. I walked out immediately because I refuse to let someone’s horrible attitude ruin my trip. If you’re running a hospitality business, at least learn how to treat your customers.

Located on the Solan bypass it is a very convenient stop between Shimla and Chandigarh. There is plenty of parking and the washrooms are super clean. There is a wide selection of food options. They also have a games zone for children. A large number of branded stores are also available on the premises.

We stopped at Haveli our way to Shimla for breakfast. We reached around 9:30 am hoping to get some good breakfast. Unfortunately, the restaurant was dead, we had to struggle to find any service person, and we thought the restaurant was not opened even at 9:30 am. Finally when we found a guy, he was not even bothered to come forward to offer us some breakfast menu. They had nothing other than bread toast and max they can give was sandwich. Very disappointed to see the way the function and they way they don’t care for the visiting customers. Will never go again.

We heard a lot of good things about Haveli restaurant, and this was our first time visiting. The place is maintained very well, the music was pleasant, service was quick, and the girl who served us had a nice nature and was well-groomed, though her smile was missing. However, as a hotelier, we noticed some important issues. When we entered, no one welcomed us. We went to the buffet area and a girl in a pent shirt came and said there was no buffet, but her tone was rude and unwelcoming, which was disappointing. After sitting down, we received menus that were torn and stained—unhygienic for any restaurant. The chairs were like stools without backrests, which was uncomfortable; proper dining chairs with back support should be provided. When we asked for a hand wash, the girl said it was one level down and promised a finger bowl. However, no finger bowl was brought until the food arrived, so at last, we had to go down for hand washing ourselves. We placed drink orders but had to specifically ask the girl serving us for a straw, which should be offered proactively. The bartender’s grooming was careless; his tie was loose and hair messy. The cocktail, a cosmopolitan, was bitter and poorly balanced. A proper cosmopolitan should be a smooth, refreshing mix of vodka, cranberry, lime, and triple sec, with a timely garnish of a neatly cut lemon or orange twist. Here, the garnish was inside the drink and not properly cut. The chicken biryani was a major letdown. The chicken smelled unpleasant and was overwhelmingly spicy without balanced flavors. The rice was sticky rather than fluffy. As I like sweet dishes, I wanted to order dessert, but no one came to take the order. Instead, the staff were busy chit-chatting with the chef in a corner rather than attending to guests. Despite the restaurant not being busy, no one took feedback or ensured guest satisfaction. When it was time to leave, we had to ask for the bill instead of it being offered politely and promptly. Compared to the taste, the prices were very high. It would have been better to have roadside food than pay so much for mediocre quality. I wanted to share this feedback personally with someone from the restaurant, but no one came to ask. Sorry for writing it here, but this was the only way to communicate my experience. One happy customer will return, but a dissatisfied customer can decrease the number of your customers. Basic hospitality like warm greetings, clean menus, professional grooming, attentive service, comfortable seating, and timely bill presentation are essential but were lacking here. We hope this honest feedback helps Haveli improve its guest experience

Not satisfied with the quality of food, we had ordered starters and main course along with beverages. The starters and beverages were fresh and good to taste, what was disappointing was the main course. Despite being a slow night the staff could have been more attentive and paid more attention to their guests.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent visit to Haveli in Solan was extremely disappointing and warrants attention. From the moment we were served, it was clear that hygiene and food quality were not priorities. We ordered paneer and it was pathetic legit panner was sour and stingy. The food itself was far below expectations—bland, poorly prepared, and simply not worth the price. However, the worst part of the experience was discovering a cockroach in the gur (jaggery) served at the end of the meal. This is absolutely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the cleanliness of the kitchen and food

We went to the cinema the other day. It’s a small hall, but the seats are really comfortable and the movie was great! And to top it off, they had a lovely lunch too. It was a really enjoyable experience. Also, did some shopping.

A hidden treasure just in the heart of Shimla. A beautiful locations at Takka Bench just above the iconic Ridge and church and behind Hawa Ghar on the way to Jakhu Mandir. Excellent food, ambience, and above all service with a genuine smiles all over. Not only the lip smacking snacks but the cafe has a great collection of books to read. Overall a great place to hangout at reasonable prices.

I had cold coffee and cheese maggi in the morning, vada pav + chai combo in early evening and hot chocolate at night. And each of these food items was absolutely delectable! It seems this place is going to close down next year due to some court case. If that is true, I'd strongly recommend that you try the yummy gulab jamuns before they shut down. Their gulab jamuns are simply the best I've had... Way better than Sindhis or Gopals of Chandigarh or Bikanervala/ Haldiram/ Nathus of Delhi. Maybe it's just a matter of taste and preference but they are definitely worth a try. I've been having them since the time each piece cost rs. 2.50. Today it's priced at Rs30 a piece but still worth it. I'm so gonna miss it! As for their restaurant and Fascination, I never liked them much.. Found it bit too crowded n dingy. The gulab jamun however is a must try. The 4 stars are just for that... Try other things at your own peril!

They are famous for there sweets and specially gulabjamuns (Rs 30 per gulabjamun) which is a bit costly but thhe taste is worth it and moreover you don't find anything cheap on mall road. They also have a resternt . Baljees Fascination is a very old sweet shop which is quite famous in shimla and a must visit.

This is an Old Family restaurant in the city heart. Famous for its Gulab Jamun's, its food quality is just falling below avaerage nowadays as it is about to shut somewhere in the mid of 2019. The interiors and ambience can make you feel a little bit stuffy. They serve nice tea though. Do visit for its Jaamun and tea before it shuts.

We had ordered Chilli chicken, Tanduri chicken, Fried rice, Tadka Daal, Roti, Chicken Kadhai etc. This place is not at good for food lovers. They have a general menu with inflated food prices and just an ok restaurant. The Tanduri was not full done. It was full of blood drops at leg tendon joints. The chilli chicken gravy was flat with lots of starch. The chilli chicken was not crispy fried and gravy was just like that. The washroom was not having water. At last, food was too expensive - food was not worth money we had paid.

One of the few proper restaurants in Shimla. The Staff is really friendly and the environment tops it all. Beautiful location and very enjoyable to sit and have a meal. The service is quite slow. The food is a mix of various cuisines: Indian (mostly North Indian, with the occasional Himachali dish too, like sidu), Western (sandwiches, pastas, risottos and so on), and some perennial East Asian favourites. We had dinner here one day and tried the chicken noodle soup (East Asian style), the chicken pepper steak, and a fish and chips from the ‘Scooby’ menu, for children, for our daughter. All were pretty good. Since we were staying at the Cecil, our room tariff included a buffet breakfast at the Restaurant. While the items/sections on the buffet are the usual—cereals, fruit, cheeses and cold cuts, Western breakfast items, dosas/idlis/etc, parathas, and so on—the quality of pretty much everything on the buffet is excellent. Also, in a pleasant change from the usual, the eggs made to order don’t just include the more predictable omelettes and scrambles, but also more uncommon (but delicious) egg dishes, such as akuri, shakshouka, and Turkish-style eggs.

Beautiful and historical surroundings with wonderful views over the mountains. Such a wonderful place to have figure licking food. We ordered soup and some starters which was excellent. The service was good and all ages were well catered for.

So like my every other ob experience, they always seem to be consistent and acing at the hospitality section ..no doubt. But what disappointed me was the food here. It was below avg esp for a star hotel like ob which surprised me because all our experiences with food have been well beyond wonderful with other OB destinations. ( u must try sukhvilas). I often order a Margherita pizza from places new to me as I consider it to be a litmus test. And Cecil failed miserably.😐 So if you are looking for a very very mediocre food wrapped up with great hospitality ..go for it! Pricing is obviously on the higher side but then its like every other star hotel. I would not book here again unless the food is improved.

Vijay Kumar and Rajendra Kumar, the Sood brothers, selling mouth-watering pickles and chutney today at Thakur Bhrata completing 83 years of its existence, support the saying and confirm that favourites with the British was sweet and sour chutney, less-soured brinjal pickle and mango kasaundi (a grated pickle). Thakur Das (9), a primary class pass small boy, left his Paragpur village in Kangra in 1911 to work at Dagshai, but greener pastures in Shimla attracted him here in 1917 to serve in a general merchandise shop at the central Lower Bazaar on Rs 5 per month. He gathered courage to hire a shop on the east end of Lower Bazaar from owner Mangat Ram on May 3, 1925, where he started selling Lahore-made pickles. When his brother Prithvi Chand, working for a clothier, joined him in 1927, they became Thakur Bhrata and started making pickling at home. They made pickles and chutneys in the old-fashioned way, following ancient traditions, being respected even today. The vegetables or raw mangoes for pickling are washed and left to dry in the sun completely as slight water develops moulds in the pickle. Smothering with salt, another bout of sunning, spicing, stuffing in crocks, giving the required mustard oil-dip and finally the pickle is left to mature. The preparation is given a swish with a wooden ladle repeatedly. When ready, the pickle is kept for sale on shelves in the shop in attractive looking, big rectangular jars made of thick glass. These jars have a historical value as these are the outer covers of Leclanche cells used in Shimla for electrification prior to and even after the functioning of Chaba hydroelectric station in 1913. Lala Thakur Das purchased 22 of these jars from a kabari for a rupee and-a-half each in 1925. The USP (unique selling point) for Thakur Bhrata since then has been the use of the finest quality of spices, the purest oil and the fresh vegetables and this home-made mouth-watering achaar and chutney sells like ‘hot cakes’. Thakur Bhrata has established itself as an institution of quality products in Shimla attracting many a customer from the hills and plains alike. The, Wife of the first Indian Governor of Punjab, Sir Chandu Lal Madhav Lal Trivedi, used to personally visit the shop for purchasing pickles of her choice, also Bhim Sen Sachhar, the Chief Minister of Punjab (1952-56). The ever-young Dev Anand, on his visit to Shimla and stay at Clarke’s Hotel, used to get the pickle and honey picked from Thakur Bhrata. They had started selling ayurvedic products of Gurukul, Haridwar, since 1935. This is the only addition that the Soods have made in their old shop. They had acquired it in 1985. Vijay, an educated gentleman and Rajendra, a metallurgical engineer from BHU, had left their lucrative jobs to join the family business in 1972. Spiritual India, GAP Adventures writes ‘Shimla’s like a graceful old lady...she may have put on a bit of weight recently and got a few gimmicky clothes, but underneath she’s still elegant, still got class...’ and to taste its class recommends varieties of pickles and chutneys — from the common mango, lemon, garlic, red chilli to the unusual mushroom pickled by ‘a minor institution in Shimla’ — Thakur Bhrata. Tailpiece Both Lala Thakur Dass and Prithvi Chand, on the call of Lala Lajpat Rai, wore khadi apparel only. They did it lifelong. On the death of Thakur Dass in 1994, his sons brought the usual long-cloth to drape the dead body. Their uncle arriving from the village said, “How could my brother, who wore Khadi the whole life, perform his last journey in long-cloth?” The proceedings were stopped and all waited till Khadi Bhandar opened and the body was draped in khadi for performing the last rites. We had visited Panthaghati branch which is Sweet shop and Bakery also had some high top seating. 📝 We go with Chole Bhature for the Brunch 🍱 Chole Bhature was served with pumpkin curry, some pickles and onion salad. Pindi chole was spicy and tangy full of flavours & Bhature was fluffy deep fried as we like it. ✅ Food is good and service is fast. ✅ Staff are courteous. ✅ Interior is fancy. ❌ No Wash basin and Washroom. 👉 We like to recommend this place for some small bites and confectionery items (as proper seating are not available).

We tasted their paneer parantha, bhajia, gulab jamun and tea. One of the best jamun and tea I have tasted ever. Parantha and bhajia were great as well. Definitely a place to try for its heritage.

Best place for tea lovers. It's just near Mall Road. This place is very crowded as there is very less seating space. This shop is locals favorite shop for tea and other snack items like samosa, pakoda, parantha, Gulab Jamun etc. The taste of tea is awesome, I have ordered special tea and believe me it's too good. Prices are very reasonable and taste of other snack items is also very good. I visited this shop almost 4-5 times in my three days tour to Shimla and this place never disappoint me. Shop is small but the variety, service and quality of items they serve is just amazing. So definitely try Vijay Sweet, if you are in Shimla.

Much recommended place for breakfast in shimla. Just go to scandal point and walk towards the Mall Road, you will see it straight on your right downstairs. There are some tikki (potato bites) and chole bhature (Fried breads with chickpeas) shops too on those stairs. You will always see it crowded. Service is very fast.There are pakoras , samosas, sweets like Gulab Jamun. Had awesome parathas (Stuffed breads), Chai (Tea) and Lassi (ButterMilk). Mix paratha (Stuffed bread with potato, onion, cabbage etc.) is the best among all. Special Chai (Tea) is too good with only milk. Sweet Lassi (Buttermilk) is the best thing to have with paranthas. P.S - You can also get parathas and other items packed. We got us packed some lassi and poured it in our water bottles and enjoyed it all day.

The food is a mix of various cuisines: Indian (mostly North Indian, with the occasional Himachali dish too, like sidu), Western (sandwiches, pastas, risottos and so on), and some perennial East Asian favourites. We had dinner here one day and tried the chicken noodle soup (East Asian style), the chicken pepper steak, and a fish and chips from the ‘Scooby’ menu, for children, for our daughter. All were pretty good. Since we were staying at the Cecil, our room tariff included a buffet breakfast at the Restaurant. While the items/sections on the buffet are the usual—cereals, fruit, cheeses and cold cuts, Western breakfast items, dosas/idlis/etc, parathas, and so on—the quality of pretty much everything on the buffet is excellent. Also, in a pleasant change from the usual, the eggs made to order don’t just include the more predictable omelettes and scrambles, but also more uncommon (but delicious) egg dishes, such as akuri, shakshouka, and Turkish-style eggs.

Beautiful and historical surroundings with wonderful views over the mountains. Such a wonderful place to have figure licking food. We ordered soup and some starters which was excellent. The service was good and all ages were well catered for.

So like my every other ob experience, they always seem to be consistent and acing at the hospitality section ..no doubt. But what disappointed me was the food here. It was below avg esp for a star hotel like ob which surprised me because all our experiences with food have been well beyond wonderful with other OB destinations. ( u must try sukhvilas). I often order a Margherita pizza from places new to me as I consider it to be a litmus test. And Cecil failed miserably.😐 So if you are looking for a very very mediocre food wrapped up with great hospitality ..go for it! Pricing is obviously on the higher side but then its like every other star hotel. I would not book here again unless the food is improved.

Stopped by abc Sher-E-Punjab on my recent Spiti trip, and I have to say, it was a really pleasant surprise! The food was genuinely tasty – exactly what you need to refuel on a long drive. What really stood out, though, was how clean the washrooms were; that's always a huge plus when you're on the road. And the location? Couldn't be better. Enjoying a good meal while looking out at the mountains was just perfect. It made for a really memorable stop. Definitely recommend if you're passing through!

BEST FOR SOUTH INDIAN DISHES 🍽 Visited this place on 16th Dec 2023 Taste: Taste was amazing especially South Indian dishes like Dosa Sambar. It has been a savour for us after really fed up with North Indian food for last 6days. Apart from South Indian dishes, Biryani and chowmeen also tasted good and quantity is adequate too. You can trust and eat South Indian dishes here without any fear Service & Pricing: Service is great, people seem to know English for south Indian peoples who don't know Hindi. Pricing was bit high, but the ambience did justice with two views. One is interior with all furnished wood for night dine-in and other was open sky dine-in with cliff view.

The scenic beauty of the snow-capped mountains added an enchanting touch to our dining experience. We indulged in a delightful array of dishes, from the savory Chicken Burger to the flavorful Mysore Masala Dosa. The Biryani was a standout, bursting with aromatic spices and tender. To complement our meal, we savored a steaming cup of Hot Chocolate Milk, which provided the perfect balance of sweetness and warmth. Overall, our dining experience was elevated by the picturesque surroundings and delicious cuisine, making it a memorable occasion.

Please stay away from here, me and my parents came here during a trip in Himachal Pradesh and it destroyed our trip because we got food poisoned from there. They don’t even have proper sanitation. But the ambience and atmosphere is good. If you are on a trip this is definitely not one of the places you should eat from.

The pizza is as any domino's outlet but what's marring this franchise is the service. We ordered pizza and paid for it, and went upstairs for seating. They told us that they'll deliver it upstairs when done after we asked if we have to collect it from the counter. Now after waiting for a long time we found the they had already prepared the pizza and they weren't that busy being late night, but no one bothered to deliver the pizza upstairs. It was quite cold by the time we got it. Had to get reheated. Also the washroom is locked and says out of order. The parent company should look into it

Pozza and choco chips was good .but when we ordered there we didn't pay atill and i wanna cancelled some itms but they denied to do that before i paid. They said to me now order done you pay rupees now this 605. This condition what we will do we pay for this. Second things upstairs sitting area not cleaned. Washroom was also closed 🔒. Its the worst ever dominos i have tried yet. The pizza was so gross i dont know how can dominos do that. And the garlic bread was like no salt no garlic just plain bread that to sour in taste. I orderd a burger too which tasted so bad even the street burger i appreciate more. I have posted pictures you can see what kind of pizza it is.

The food was good overall it was a good experience enjoyed my time with friends there and had the pizzas the base was a little different but still feels like dominos maybe in hilly areas they make it another way still figuring out but the taste was great.

Worst pizza ever I have tried in Shimla don’t waste money’s

They do specify very clearly that all the pizza bases are pre-made and deep dish. The quality of the vegetables and the rest of the toppings is questionable. Nothing was freshly prepared. Service is great and quick. The atmosphere is non-existent and you feel like you're sitting in a jail waiting for food if you chose to dine-in.

Probably the most congested Domino's I have ever been to. A small shop at the ground floor to order and a small sized dine in at the first floor. Should order first and then it will be served to the sitting area. It was really difficult to order because of the number of people trying to fit in the queue and order They take their sweet time to prepare and deliver - I believe the ingredients are of the same standard in all of their outlets. Surprised to see the thickness of the crust. It's almost double the size I usually eat!! Couldn't finish the garlic bread at all! - Even the pizza had a thick crust. I'm still confused about it

A place for average food for a sky-high price tag… not for all items in the menu, but most. We ordered the mutton biriyani. The price is ₹420. One would expect some decent-sized pieces of meat in the biriyani. But all i got were 3 very tiny pieces as small as a ping-pong ball. The restaurant is located on the Mall Road. The place has moderate sitting space. The service was very prompt. We ordered chicken tender for starter, grilled chicken pizza and stuffed chicken with pepper sauce for main course. The food was very tasty though was a bit on the sweeter side. 45 The Central is a multicusine restaurant in Shimla, located in Mall Road. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes at an affordable rate. The dining experience here is further enhanced by the stunning ambience and the wonderful hospitality and service. Winters in Shimla are pretty cold and anybody would prefer something hot and spicy. The Bon-fire wings proved to be the right choice. The chicken was soft and simply melted in my mouth. It was very well grilled and the flavour was truly amazing. I also loved the Sole Fish Sizzler which was cooked to perfection. Another interesting dish I had here were the Hot Mocktails - Spiced Apple Cider and Mulled POM Citrus. They were indeed innovative and were perfect for the weather.

Ambience is nice small place but food is not that good in taste not good Chinese food they add chilly flakes and oregano in every food😂 whether it is Chinese food(garlice noodle)or mexican rice or their burger saucing is very bad cheese garlic bread was good and fries was ok.

Visited Negi Dhaba with high hopes, but the experience was very disappointing. We ordered chicken chowmein, which turned out to be a complete letdown – the chicken tasted stale, and the noodles were all broken and lacked flavor. Honestly, a roadside thela would serve better chowmein, especially considering the price they charged. We also ordered ginger lemon honey tea, which was supposed to be a comforting drink but ended up tasting like plain hot water – no hint of ginger, lemon, or honey in it. To top it off, the water glasses/tumblers provided had a terrible stench, which made the overall hygiene questionable. The only thing that was passable was the chole samosa – not great, just okay – though that could be because it was compared to the other two dishes which were practically inedible. We left more than 80% of the food untouched. Wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re absolutely out of options

Situated almost at Narkandas business centre, we liked everything about this place with a nice view from the restaurant, clean environs, quick service and good tasting north Indian food i.e. butter chicken and tandoor rotis. Parking is a little difficult to find but available as your drive by.

This place is only solace for the travellers which is slightly better placed than other joints in Narkanda market. Hence the attitude and approach of the Management. Food is just OK. Nothing to rave about. Indeed the samosa in the near by joint is fresh, hot and delicious. Service: is truly pathetic. Staff is courteous and warm. But only one old gentleman is too stretched to service the many a customers. No timely availability of water/ order taking or serving. Prices are double for the similar items in the nearby small joints in the market Prices are exclusive of GST; instead it should be inclusive of GST Sometimes even the bills are not provided!! Amazing food place on the NH 5 (Old NH22) Hussainiwala - Shipki La Highway. It's the best stop for food located in Main Bazaar, Narkanda. One can have great views of higher snow clad Himalayas & green middle Himalayas while eating their food. Must try their sandwiches, noodles, cold coffee, North Indian main course & other food items as well.

A clean kitchen, delicious food, and a scenic window view are all great features of this place. However, the service is a bit slow, and parking can be a problem.

This place is just awesome. Located on the main road in in main market. Seating is very comfortable. You can enjoy the breathtaking views of magnificent Himalaya snow mountain range from the window while sipping your coffee. Tandoori paneer paratha was yummy. Butter chicken and tea was also good. Service is prompt. Staff is very friendly and professional.

I visited this place when I was in Shimla last year, it’s located on the Mall Road , we luckily got the front seating with Mall Road view. We ordered multiple things ( chole bhature , momos , burger , fries ) food was above average but nothing extraordinary but the location and presentation was really nice. I forgot the price point but it was not very expensive is what I remember. One can visit if you want to enjoy Decent meal with a view.

Wonderful place with great food and good service. Don’t be deterred to visit this place due to a low score on google maps. When I visited this place I was the only non-local person and it was full, so it is a sign that the food has to be good and it was. I recommend the momos. Also be aware that it take time to cook your meal so plan ahead. If you are impatient and cannot wait avoid this place.

One or the best places to eat in Sanjauli. Quiet and quaint joint with really nice food and views. Trout is definitely recommended to try out if you like seafood. Excellent pizzas as well. They open a little late around 12 so don't keep it as a breakfast option.

The chef's at Sanjauli are coming up a storm. Couldn't believe the quality of food being served at the corner cafe, so unexpected it blew our mind. Loved the ambience and atmosphere at the place with their all wooden interiors and the amazing view through the balcony. Whenever you are in Shimla make sure to visit the corner cafe without fail, you won't regret it. We were staying in Naldera and stopped here while traveling, it was by far the best food I've had in the hills, there is nothing to compare it to. Head chef Gunjit is there everyday and makes sure you are enjoying your meal. Amazing service, nice place to chill in the evening with the beautiful view of the city. The best place for dinner in the area for sure.

Pleasantly surprised as I have tried pastas and pizzas in many good places in Shimla and was not able to find a tasty meal. Food is yummy and the server was very polite. The portion was good and the price is also worth it. I feel that the menu can be improved a little bit more with time by having more options. 2 stars is for the ambience and its location,rest 1 star is for the food .We ordered grilled trout, chicken momos, Kathi roll and Afghani chicken Tikka out of which nothing was upto the mark or worth the money . The outer layer of momos was too heavy n lil chicken inside ,the stuffing for Kathi roll was too sweet ,fish was a disaster as it wasn't either fresh or grilled properly ..in chicken Tikka again the tandoor part was a big issue as from inside the chicken wasn't cooked properly ,paid 1431 for the whole order which was a big disappointment

Recently ordered from the Corner Cafe and the food was absolutely Delicious ! You should definitely try their Pizzas and Chilly Paneer along with Hakka Noodles. Their Cheesecake and Pudding were delicious as well. Personally I didn't enjoy the Pastas much but apart from that the food was yum. I had ordered delivery so the packaging was sturdy and spill proof. The price point is slightly expensive but it's met equal with the portion size they offer. In all a Great Experience and a Must Try in Shimla Hills .

As far as Sony Dhabha is concerned as this place requires no introduction, it is quite famous among the tourist and as well as the travellers and also with the locals. the location is in the market of Chail, and there can be a little bit issue of the parking, but overall things can be Managed. The place is quite simple and the setting is basic, but the services are very good and the food quality is very good. Cleanliness is like kind of okay, but the persons or the staff or Family whosever is working there they are doing quite nice as the food is quite fresh and tasty as well and it is actually famous for the food and the himachani Thali is quite nice and the Sweet dish shakar parathe is yummy actually very much preferable. It is a place for the value meals and it is not too much costly, it is kind of a like a moderate cost so the overall experience is very very nice and I would like to recommend all the travellers who are and as well as tourist to going there must-visit the dhaba as we must support the locals !!!!

A very good place to have authentic himachal food,I had been for lunch with my family on my way back from Kali Tibba. They have a seperate kitchen in one shop and restaurant in next shop. We had a thali consisting of Tawa roti,aloogobi,Pakoda curry,rajma,chole,pickle,salad,rice & Meethi roti. Believe me the food was so tasty & non oily.It was totally homely food. Meethi roti was made of jaggery & pure ghee.out of this world. We were 3 pax & I paid total 600/ Rs for unlimited food. Very simple & loving people. Don't miss.

No Cleanliness! The floors and furniture were not clean . Unsure about cleanliness of vessels. Highly congested and little area even for waiters to move for serving food. Food was oily and spicy. Two of us were suggested thali…Thali had 6 items - , kadhi, daal , paneer veg, mix veg, rajma, raita in katoris with chapatis and rice . We could eat only rajma and kadhi . Charge for both thali was ₹ 500/- seems expensive for dhaba for this type of food . Not worthy of visiting . Can’t understand why local taxi drivers recommend this eatery

Home made food in a local hotel. One of the best that i eat ever. Taken there by a good professional friend. Awesome experience. Almost all guided tourist taken there by guide. Ghee roti directly from Chula is unimaginably great. Old traditional style Rajma, Paneer, raita, mix veg taste external great. Highly recommended to go there. Problem is only parking that is also duirng the peak tourist season. Just ahaaa!!!! Cheap and best. Nothing could be better then this placenin local chail side. Few km early than Chail.

Super tasty vegetarian thali. Aunty and uncle were so warm and welcoming. The shop always remains crowded during the lunch hour. Before it was 200 per person but now the price rose to 250 per person. But you won't regret paying the amount after having it. The thali includes paneer curry, a fry item, dal tadka, chole, kadhi, salad, chapati, rice and dessert as well. All the items were freshly prepared and were served steaming hot. Also, every item was loaded with pure Desi ghee, but still was so light and filling. You must try if you visit Chail village in Himachal Pradesh.

In my whole shimla trip the best food I had here. Everything is soo tasty. If you avoide the ambiance you will surely love the taste of the food. The cherry on top is the meethi roti they serve you after you meal. I also loved Kadhi. The taste of ghee is awesome. If you are on that road or nearby ill suggest you to sit there and have your meal. PS. - I loved that roti. You will love it too.

Best Restaurant Near me @ Shimla Mall Road: Visited this place today after reading Google reviews. My friends and I were starving after our trek to Jakhu Temple. The staff was exceptionally polite and welcoming, specially thanks to Mr Ramesh Thakur, making our experience even better. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the menu had great options. We tried Dal Makhani, Jeera Aloo, Rice, and Masala Soya Chaap—all of which were delicious. Overall, it’s a great spot on Mall Road for good food and drinks. The only downside is its slightly hidden location, requiring a few steps down from the main Mall Road for entry.

Nice food, lovely atmosphere with live musicals performance. Located few steps down from the mall road and close to Lift. Had to wait 10 minutes and we were promptly served a table. We tried chicken tikka, some drinks and two pizza. Pizza size is very good for 2-3 persons

The high ratings on Google was for once authentic. Food & ambience were top notch. The soya chap, especially with Kasturi marination was lip smacking. We followed that with a good dose of Veg Manchow soup which had mouthful of vegetables & right amount of spiciness. Thai Green & red curry were cooked to perfection and it was probably the best I've ever had. Hakka & schezwan Noodles portions were good too and had very good sprinkling of vegetables. Overall the entire lunch was very memorable & had happy tummies at the end.

The staff was courteous and friendly throughout. Coming to the food: • Trout fish: Excellent! Fresh, well-cooked, and full of flavour. • Chicken wings: Tasty and nicely done. • Fried rice: Average, could use more seasoning or texture. • Chowmein: Just okay, little on the spicy side. • Toddy: Disappointing, lacked the warmth and flavour we expected. Overall, a decent spot to unwind with some good dishes—especially if you go for the fish. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

the reviews seem really fake but i think some people might have gotten lucky but pay attention to the personnel they refuse to change the dish they made a mistake in and ask for money. and so the outcome was this, they are trying to get money out of you but they don't work with the customer and their wishes. the food is oversalted, the chicken is a weird color. the staff I won't be afraid to say is HORRIBLE! i wish i could contact the owner of this business and show him who he trusted the restaurant to! but alas the staff refused to put us in touch with the owner of the business! and so i hope the owner will make himself known. i will let as many people as possible know your cafe is a bad place with bad communication with people! i don't mind that we paid the bill without seeing our food! but oh well, such a business will go into decline sooner or later!
