Martin's Corner is a renowned Goan restaurant that offers a mix of Indian and Chinese cuisine, with a focus on seafood. The vibrant open-air pavilion creates an inviting atmosphere for diners to enjoy their meals. Known for its fresh catches prepared in local flavors, this restaurant also features live music and a wide selection of spirits. The establishment has been popular among both locals and tourists for decades, offering an authentic Goan dining experience amidst interiors adorned with Mario Miranda's artwork.
A Must-Visit Culinary Gem in South Goa – Martin’s Corner During our recent stay at Club Mahindra Varca Beach Resort, one name kept coming up in every recommendation — Martin’s Corner. Though this wasn’t my first visit, the experience once again lived up to its stellar reputation. Martin’s Corner is undoubtedly one of the most iconic and beloved seafood restaurants in South Goa. Despite its popularity and high standards, the pricing is surprisingly competitive — often matching, if not beating, smaller local eateries in both cost and quality. What truly sets Martin’s apart is its consistent excellence: from the freshest seafood to the warmth in service and the unmistakable Goan charm in the air. We indulged in a delightful spread — Lobsters, Red Snapper, Squid, Prawns, and a variety of snacks that paired beautifully with our drinks. The seafood was cooked to perfection, each dish bursting with flavour and freshness. Their bar menu is extensive, and even the drinks are reasonably priced, making it an ideal place for a leisurely evening. What adds to the magic is the live music that fills the air as the sun sets, creating an atmosphere that’s both vibrant and relaxing. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of a Bollywood celebrity or television star, as Martin’s Corner is a popular haunt for visiting actors and artists. In short, if you’re in South Goa and skip Martin’s Corner, you’re truly missing out on an essential part of the Goan experience. Whether it’s your first time or a repeat visit, this place never disappoints.

This place had been on my bucket list ever since I read about it in the book ‘Secret Sauce’ which covers iconic restaurants from across India. So now when we were in Goa, I didn’t want to miss it. We visited the place around lunch time and went in a bit early to avoid the rush. We got a nice table in the middle of the restaurant and the staff were very friendly and helpful in helping us place the right order. We ordered the Goan Sausage Chilli Fry, Chonok Masala Rava Fry, Tandoori Prawns and Surmai Masala Fry. The Sausage Chilli Fry was quite nice with its inherent Smokey flavour going well with the chilli and onions. The Masala Rava Fry and Masala Fry preparations were a bit on the sweeter side owing to the use of Recheado masala. The taste was even more stronger in the Surmai Masala Fry whereas in the Rava Fry it was toned down a bit. This turned out to be a little disappointing. What stood out was the Tandoori Kong Prawns, well cooked and spicy!! A good recommendation from our server. All of this paired well with some Beer and we ended our meal with a Bebinca with Ice Cream. A good way to wrap it all up! Overall, it was a nice dining experience and it’s a place to visit at least once when you’re in Goa.

Bit costly, but as my host sponsored it no issue in that. Exotic food, seradura is best in goa, my host told and is correct. Starters are fantastic and sunfish curry-rice is real tasty. Dinner becore and vibe was too good. But the luch also could me equally great with Goan landscape and fish-lunch.
Prabuddha G — Google review
Firstly, the staff is very attentive, including the parking staff. The lobster in butter garlic was amazing. The pork chops were well done, sweet n spicy. The atmosphere is laid back with some lovely live music. Would love to visit again.

Martins Corner Review: A Goan Culinary Masterpiece (5/5 Stars!) This place is pure magic! Martins Corner is an absolute, non-negotiable must-visit for anyone looking for the authentic heart and soul of Goan cuisine. Giving them 5/5 stars across the board feels right—they truly excel in every single area. Food (5/5): The food here is simply wonderful. We had an amazing experience at Martin’s Corner! The food was absolutely delicious — we tried the batter-fried calamari, beef chili fry, tongue roast, Goan pork sausage chili fry, chicken stroganoff, chicken cafreal, and chicken xacuti with Goan pao — every dish was full of authentic Goan flavor and perfectly cooked. The vibe was lively and relaxed, made even better with great live music that perfectly matched the Goan spirit. The staff was warm and attentive, and the overall ambiance made for a memorable dining experience. Definitely a must-visit in South Goa for anyone who loves good food, good music, and a true Goan vibe! 🌴🎶

Had an amazing experience here. There is a lot of waiting at the restaurant but service is pretty fast and you are well attended. Coming to the food, its just amazing. i tried mutton xacuti, prawn balchao( prawn was overcooked but gravy made for it) , poe breads, naan, butter garlic naan, king fish masala fry( too spicy but very tasty) and tender coconut soufflé which tasted light with tender coconut chunks in it. The live music band was good and engaged well with old and new Bollywood hits. Its a family place for good music and good food. Its just that its noisy coz of the rush in there. Ample of parking space available.

One of the best hangout cafe in goa. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, they serve good food. Fish, steaks, and deserts are too good. Loved it here. And the live music is a good add on..

The Fishermans Wharf is a renowned riverside restaurant in South Goa, offering a rustic and inviting ambiance perfect for nature lovers. With three popular outlets in Goa, it's known for its amazing setting amidst lush landscapes. The menu features delectable Goan-style seafood such as Prawn Balchao and Tandoori Malai Mushroom.
We recently visited this place, and it truly exceeded all our expectations! The ambience is absolutely stunning — warm, elegant, and perfectly balanced between comfort and style. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the welcoming vibe, soothing lighting, and the tasteful décor that instantly sets the mood for a relaxing dining experience. Whether you’re visiting with friends, family, or even for a quiet evening, this place offers the perfect atmosphere to unwind and enjoy great food. A special mention goes to Vipin, who made our visit extra special. He was extremely courteous, attentive, and professional throughout our time there. What really stood out was his knowledge of the menu — he gave us some excellent recommendations that turned out to be absolutely delicious! His service was prompt, friendly, and genuinely made us feel valued as guests. It’s rare to come across staff who not only serve but also ensure you have a memorable experience, and Vipin did exactly that. The food was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was cooked to perfection and served at just the right temperature. The balance of taste, portion size, and presentation reflected the chef’s attention to detail. Overall, this place deserves full marks for its ambience, hospitality, and food quality. It’s clear that the management has put a lot of effort into maintaining high standards in every aspect. We left with happy hearts and satisfied taste buds. If you’re around the area, this spot is an absolute must-visit. Whether you’re looking for great food, amazing service, or just a beautiful place to relax, this restaurant ticks all the boxes. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

We’ve just arrived in South Goa and were delighted to find this stylish restaurant just a short 5-minute walk from our hotel. We were seated on the verandah with a beautiful view of the fishing boats in the nearby harbour—such a relaxing spot to enjoy dinner. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and we were impressed by the fresh catch-of-the-day platter, which included red snapper, sea bass, lobsters, and crabs. To start, we shared: • Fried Wok Tossed Broccoli – tender and full of flavour with a lovely garlic kick. • Baked Brie with Mango Murabba – a creative and tasty combination, though the brie could’ve used a bit more time in the oven. For our main, we had a whole seabass in lemon butter, which was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and very tasty. Service was excellent—friendly and attentive throughout. The only downsides were that the chips could’ve been hotter, and the live band, while talented, was far too loud for the otherwise tranquil setting. Overall, a very good experience with just a couple of small things that kept it from being perfect. Would definitely recommend and we will be going back. We had an excellent experience here! Krishna and Daison suggested all the dishes we tried, and every one of them was amazing. Our dinner experience in Goa was truly memorable. A must, must, must-visit place in Goa! We tried the crab Goan-style, lobster, and jumbo prawns — all were absolutely delicious. We’ll always remember the food, the great suggestions from Krishna, and the wonderful atmosphere.

Totally worth going. This was such a pleasant experience. The staff is extremely cordial. Food is just amazing. The ambiance is just soothing. Spent like 3 hours here, was totally worth it. Definitely gave OG vibes. Loved it. Must go. Mr. Jason was so friendly and understanding, such a humble man. And just a 2 min drive from Cavelossim Beach. Pretty place.

Too good atmosphere. Food was average. Service was good. Couldnt try much . Didnt get good suggestions as well . Anyways good for a peaceful dinner watching fisherman boats and live music in background. 160 for lime juice.we can say its bit expensive. But worth the time. Good parking area. Washrooms were clean

Our service hosts named Adarsh and Likha were exceptionally good and sensitive to our needs and were jovial while serving and interacting, creating good vibes. Our favorite part was meeting a crab. His name was Jimmy. Adarsh helped us with Jimmy. We ate him. We gave him sweets to make him happy. He now lives in my stomach. When I feel a poke in my stomach I remember Jimmy. He reminds me to come back every 15th November to this place. I also made more friends, a crow named Gerald and a fish named Fred. I loved this place. Absolutely this place is a 50000/5. Especially because of Jimmy. Aka, Nysa (bro, I'm a ten year old).. Thank u!

The food was really good we mostly tried the vegetarian dishes and everything was spot-on. The service was great too; the staff was attentive, quick, and made sure everything reached us on time. Our friends ordered non-veg and loved their food as well. We visited on a Sunday, so we also got to enjoy their live music, which added a nice vibe to the place.

Tried the Chicken Cafreal, Honey Chili Chicken, and Chicken Hakka Noodles — all were delicious! The cafreal had authentic Goan flavors, the honey chili was perfectly crispy and saucy, and the noodles were packed with flavor. Great food, lovely ambiance, and friendly service. Zeebop by the Sea is a leafy beach restaurant located on the shores of Utorda beach in Goa, India. It offers a menu featuring freshly caught seafood prepared in classic South Indian style. The restaurant is known for its Balinese architecture, creating a vintage and rustic vibe that adds to the cozy atmosphere. Zeebop is popular for its excellent seafood, party nights, and as a preferred venue for beach weddings and parties.
Amazing food, great service and wonderful atmosphere. All our needs and wants were taken care of, waiters even recommended a few things which were amazing. So good that went twice in 3 days and planning to visit again. The Tandoori Red Snapper and the butter parsley stuffed crab was to die for!

Had some of the best seafood we’ve ever eaten. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. They presented the catch of the day at our table and chef which way he was going to cook each fish. We started with tiger prawns, then I had a whole sea bass cooked two ways while my other half had a whole crab. Stunning I recommend the Indian Sauvignon Blanc. All in all a glorious way to spend an evening

If you’re ever in the Uttorda area, Zee Bop is an absolute must-visit! From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with warm, friendly service and a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. The restaurant's vibrant decor, combined with soft lighting, sets the perfect mood for a laid-back dining experience. The menu is a wonderful blend of Goan and international cuisines, offering everything from fresh seafood to delicious vegetarian options. The Goan Prawn Curry is an absolute standout, with a rich, flavorful sauce that’s perfectly balanced and paired with tender prawns. Another highlight is their seafood platter, which is fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with taste.

Talking to ser jo was really refreshing. As a vegetarian, Zeebop by the Sea impressed me with its absolutely stunning beachside setting—the views of Utorda Beach are gorgeous and the vibe is relaxed and inviting. However, I found the vegetarian food options on the menu quite limited compared to the extensive seafood selection. The few vegetarian dishes available were decent and tasty, but nothing extraordinary or innovative. I’d love to see more variety and creativity in the vegetarian offerings, especially given the premium pricing. That said, the service was attentive and the ambiance alone makes the experience special. A great spot for the view and atmosphere, but vegetarians might wish for a wider, more exciting menu selection.

A delightful restaurant on the beach that is open even during the Monsoons. The variety of seafood is wonderful. We ordered Calamari in Butter garlic sauce and the tandoori Tiger prawns. Drinks were good - LIIT and virgin Pina colada The beach is a few steps away and a must visit if you are around Utorda Beach area in South Goa
Gitanjali K — Google review
Magical! That’s the one word to describe Zebop by the Sea. Tucked away on the serene beach of Utorda, this gem can be easily missed if you don’t know where to look. It was recommended by the staff at The Regal Luxury Boutique Stays (and I must say - they have a knack for brilliant suggestions!). We reached the beach around 11 p.m., delayed and disappointed to find most shacks already shut or shutting down - none willing to entertain a group of eight for a quick dinner. Thankfully, one of my friends spotted a dimly lit board at the start of the lane to the right. We followed a narrow path into a dark parking area, almost turning back - until we saw the soft glow of Zebop at the end. At first glance, it felt peaceful and welcoming - the kind of place that instantly soothes you. The ambience was calm, the sea breeze gentle, and the vibe quietly magical. The staff, though in the process of closing, still let us in and even went out of their way to set up a table off the sand, exactly as we requested. That level of hospitality — especially at the end of their night — deserves an extra ⭐ on its own. We ordered the Calamari Rechead, and the aroma alone told us we were in for something special. The Rechead fish and prawn curry that followed were simply outstanding - perfectly spiced, full of flavour, and exactly what we were craving. Through the meal, the staff remained attentive yet discreet - never rushing us, even though we were the last guests. Their warmth and quiet efficiency elevated the entire experience. It was a short trip, so we couldn’t return - but the next visit to Goa will definitely include a night at Zebop. Great location. Delicious food. Beautiful ambience. Wonderful staff. Without them, it wouldn’t have been half the experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must-visit!

Palácio do Deão is a hidden gem in south Goa, offering a unique blend of history and culinary delights. This 213-year-old Portuguese mansion, once owned by a nobleman and head of the town church, has been lovingly restored and is now open to all visitors. The current owner, Ruben, provides insightful tours of the mansion while sharing fascinating anecdotes from the town's history.
This was an unexpectedly amazing experience! Getting a tour through the old Portugese villa was fascinating as we learned a lot about its history. Not only that, the food was excellent! There was so much to eat that we couldn't finish it all. Also, we were able to call on the morning of to make a reservation which was nice. I'm not sure if this is possible if you visit during the busy season (supposedly October to February).

A lovely spot to spend a few hours in the South. When you book a meal, you also get a short tour of the restored house. Given the state the house was in, it’s a huge and wonderful job they’ve done restoring it. The meal is a wonderful and large feast that feels one is visiting a friend’s house, and the beautiful thing about it is that it doesn’t feel like a restaurant. It is a bit of a detour irrespective of where you’re coming from in Goa but if you have a few hours to spare, it’s great to add to your itinerary.

A unique experience of touring a heritage house from the 1780 era .. Mr Ruben and his family have done a wonderful job in restoring the beautiful house in all its glory! The meal (made using absolutely fresh in house produce) at the end of the tour was finger licking delicious!! .. overall, a fabulous visit giving a great insight into Portugese culture and heritage .. Note: you have to call and pre book lunch!

Two of us had visited this beautifully restored Portuguese-era mansion 14 years ago and had thoroughly enjoyed the tour through the house, by the owner, then a wander around the lush, restored gardens. We were then treated to a fabulous home-cooked feast. To our delight the same people still own the house, and as we are in Goa again, we re-visited and took friends with us. We again were given a tour by the owner, Ruben, who explained the history of the house, the renovations and some of the contents. We then sat down to a wonderful lunch, cooked by Ruben's wife. To start, we shared: - Pan-fried mushrooms in crispy cups - Deep-fried cheese pastries - Something like a cream cheese on toast - Crab meat in the shell - Drumstick (Goan vegetable soup) Then a feast of main courses: - Whole seabass - BBQ prawns (with a delicious coating) - Spiced chicken pieces off the bone - Salad with pomegranate - Chopped green beans - Pumpkin pie - Steamed rice - Poi bread And to finish, the most delicious no-flour, rich chocolate pudding. We also had their signature cocktail of pineapple and passion fruit juice with their locally produced spirit, Feni, made from fermented and distilled cashew apples - an excellent drink. We absolutely loved re-visiting this delightful family in their lovely home and eating a sumptuous lunch. Thank you Palácio do Deão! (Also posted to my food blog on Instagram @AbbeyKing16)

We enjoyed this tour and it was well worth the small fee. Reuben was very flexible with our arrival time and provided an interesting ten minute tour. We were then free to explore the house and the gardens ourselves. It's well worth a visit if you're in the area. My only suggestion for Reuben would be to provide more information on the website and Instagram about how to sign up for a tour or lunch, as it was not very clear to us initially.

Visited the charming Portuguese-style houses in South Goa during my trip in October 2023. The architecture was truly stunning — colorful facades, vintage wooden balconies, and colonial-era charm. It felt like stepping back in time. The area was peaceful, clean, and full of character. Great spot for photography and understanding Goa's rich cultural heritage. ✅ Highly recommended if you love history, design, and quiet exploration.

Our group of five from Mumbai visited this beautiful Portuguese era home last week. We were warmly welcomed by the host, Ruben, who took us on a detailed tour of the home and the adjoining gardens which were magnificent. Our guests were served a delectable Indo Portuguese lunch with unique veg and non veg options, prepared largely with fresh produce grown on their farm! Ended the meal with the most delicious Caramel custard and filter coffee. Overall a truly wholesome experience!

This place is pretty ambur obviously you cannot take any pictures or eat anything here. As it's exclusive for pre ordering also the owner also a guide ( no hates) seemed extremely rude while explaining the property and the inspiration behind it as if we gonna steal it. And wanted money in cash only , STRANGE!

Pentagon Restaurant & Garden Pub is a top choice in South Goa, offering a vibrant dining experience with live music and a diverse menu of regional Indian and Chinese cuisine. The restaurant features both indoor and outdoor seating, including a lovely garden area with lush greenery. If you are in South Goa, this is a must place to visit for its food and drinks. Urak was only 180 rupees for 180ml and so far one of the cheapest and they tasted really good. Food was spicy and tasted excellent. Their cutlery holding skills were something I really admired and they accept international cards as well for payment. Very impressed and this place was worth it definitely

I had a truly wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel very well taken care of throughout our meal. The food was absolutely delicious – every dish was prepared with great flavor, freshness, and attention to detail. The restaurant’s ambiance is another highlight: elegant yet cozy, with a beautiful setup that creates the perfect dining atmosphere. Adding to the charm was the live singing and music, which brought an extra layer of joy and made the evening feel special and memorable. A perfect place for both fine dining and a relaxed, enjoyable time. Highly recommended!

Pentagon in Majorda turned out to be a delightful find, located just a short walk from where I was staying. The atmosphere is instantly welcoming, with lively music that sets the perfect mood. Despite being quite full, the space never felt cramped — definitely a family-friendly spot. We tried the Caesar salad and rawa prawns to start, both done to perfection. The masala prawns and chilli-fried pork followed, each dish tender, flavourful, and spiced just right. The service throughout was impeccable , attentive yet unobtrusive. The chicken sizzler was tender and juicy and made just right. Overall, a wonderful dining experience that combines great food, good music, and a relaxed vibe.Mahesh was the host and server and deserves a special mention for his great service and pleasant behaviour . Highly recommended ,and don’t miss out on their feni selection, which is surprisingly good! 😊

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this place. The food was super delicious. The cafreal fish, butter garlic king prawns are a must try. The north Indian dish varieties were delicious too. The singer and atmosphere at the place was excellent too. We couldn't catch the name of the singer on the piano, but he was too great. Our family completely enjoyed his singing. This was one memorable dinner at Goa.

Loved our time at Pentagon. The place has a warm and welcoming vibe, and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in. We tried the fresh tiger prawns, chicken 65, chicken vindaloo, fish fingers and even the local feni. Everything was absolutely delicious. The seafood was fresh and full of flavour, and the portions were just right. You can tell they put effort into both the taste and the presentation. The ambience was lovely with live music in the background, creating a nice and relaxed setting for a good evening out. Also, a special mention for their clean and well-kept toilets. It really added to the overall positive experience. Highly recommend this place. We would definitely visit again.

Pentagon was a chance visit. We were planning to go to another popular restaurant of South Goa l, however, tables were not available their. We googled and shortlisted Pentagon for a family dinner. We reached the restaurant at around 8 pm and were able to exercise our choice for seating under the sky in the garden area or inside the covered portion. We were excited by the live music probably performed by a family of three. They were largely doing justice to the songs they were performing on which were super popular english numbers. After settling down we ordered soup and Fish Tikka and crispy chicken. Soups and starters were nice. For the main course we ordered White Sauce Pasta and Chicken Noodles. Both these dishes were much better than the starters. We settled for Banana Split and Caramel Custard for dessert. Overall we enjoyed our meal which came at decent cost. They have a well stocked bar. One thing which stood out was speed of service - they were pleasantly fast. One can certainly opt for Pentagon for their speed of service, food and cost. Do like the review of you found it useful.

However, vegetarians may find the options limited, and I’d recommend avoiding the pasta as it wasn’t up to the mark. On the brighter side, the service is quick, the staff is polite, and the overall atmosphere makes it a nice place to hang out with friends or family.

Cavatina by Avinash Martins is a contemporary dining spot in Goa that offers a menu featuring upscale Italian dishes with hints of Indian flavors. The restaurant is part of the vibrant culinary scene in North Goa, where both old and new favorites coexist, showcasing the region's diverse and hyperlocal cuisine.
Cavatina for me isn’t just a restaurant…it is home. After having tried some really fancy restaurants in different parts of the world, I can proudly say I have the best one at home. At Cavatina , you not only get to experience Chef Avinash’s culinary brilliance but also are spoilt by Tiz and the team who go above and beyond to look after you. Chef Avinash is an artist and you will see a few pieces of his amazing art at the restaurant on the walls but the food he puts out on the plate is extra ordinary. Not just the taste but the presentation. The team make sure they take your order down very attentively while checking for any dietary allergies or restrictions. While the food is great, the cocktails and desserts are equally good. Chef Tiz is the woman behind the amazing desserts you will get to try here. Don’t miss out on her brilliant home made ice creams. Honestly it’s hard to pick a favourite when it comes to the food because everything is so different and nice. Though I never miss out on ordering the crab bisque soup while I’m here. This is my family’s go to place for a celebration and I would highly recommend anyone visiting Goa to put this on top of your to do list while visiting.

Can you give something 5 plus stars? Because this place truly deserves all the hype it gets. We had so much food that our belly and our hearts were full. Not only was the food incredible, the service was near perfect. Special shout out to our server Mohit who explained every dish, we had crab bisque which was incredible, two starters, main courses of which the filet mignon deserves a special mention and two desserts. The presentation of all of which was topped only by their taste. Please do come here if you are in Goa. Be sure to make a reservation. I promise you it would be worth you time.

Visited the place for lunch with no reservation, but they had a cancellation so were gracious enough to give us a table. I’m a vegetarian , and my partner is non vegetarian. The food was absolutely delicious for both of us. I can’t remember the names of the dishes- but everything starting from the bread basket they gave when we sat down, to appam-tacos we had for appetizers, to the soup, to the vegetable/rice/appam main course was so incredibly flavourful. The server was also really helpful- we followed his advice on what to order eyes closed and were not disappointed. I have a huge sweet tooth, so we ordered the tasting platter of their dessert- all of them were good, but probably not “goan” so didn’t find them as mind blowing as the rest of the food. The guard outside who helped us park our scooty was also a bit rude

The food here is just awesome. The waiter will take time to explain the food item. All the dishes in the menu are extremely innovative. We were served by Dilshad and he was excellent at taking care of our every requirement. Wasn’t that hungry when entered this place but ended up having lot of things. A 10/10 experience.

We walked in, which was risky. It is better to get a reservation for sure. We got lucky and were seated. The owner's wife was very hospitable and took the time to explain our food to us. The staff was a mixed experience. One of our servers was very helpful while another was....diffent...we felt we were being done a favour by him. Same with the security guard.Leaving this aside, the food was extremely delicious with an innovative twist. The Ros Omlette is not just an omlette within a bun, it's a juicy experience, one to polish off with a hot cup of vegetable broth. The slow cooked pork belly, and chorizo cigars were just perfect. Super duper satisfying food.

An incredible culinary experience! This place is a must-visit in Goa for anyone who loves good food. The variety is impressive, and the flavors truly redefine taste. The atmosphere has a natural, earthy charm—you can feel it in everything, from the plates and tumblers to the thoughtful way each dish is served. It’s absolutely worth the hype and every penny spent. Long after you leave Goa, Cavatina will remain a lasting taste memory.
SAKSHI S — Google review
Upon arriving at Cavatina by Avinash Martin, the first impression was off-putting as the staff did not greet us politely. Instead, the very first question was whether we had a booking or not, asked quite bluntly. It would have been more welcoming to receive all guests with a courteous greeting before inquiring about reservations. The dining experience itself was disappointing due to the rude behavior of the staff. We ordered a jackfruit starter but were served a mixed vegetable version instead. When we pointed out this mistake, the waiter argued that we had not ordered the jackfruit starter, showing a dismissive and confrontational attitude. This soured our mood and cast a shadow over the rest of the meal. We had planned to order more dishes and enjoy a broader experience, but due to the unpleasant service, we cut the meal short and left earlier than intended. Although the food was decent, the lack of professionalism in handling our order mistake overshadowed the entire dining experience. I believe the order error situation could have been handled more politely and with better care. Given Cavatina’s reputation for innovative cuisine and fine dining, such treatment was unexpected and disappointing.

This is a must visit place for food lovers. I was impressed to notice a great variety of dishes for vegetarians in the menu. Staff was courteous, service was quick and food was finger licking good. Must try : Mushroom Xacuti, sweet potatoe with garlic flavoured yogurt, butter garlic prawns and bibinca with bailey flavoured ice cream .

Located on Agonda Beach Road, La Dolce Vita is a charming Italian restaurant that brings the taste of Italy to the area. It offers a variety of authentic Italian dishes such as homemade pasta, wood-fired pizzas, and seasonal specialties like minestrone. The desserts are a must-try, with indulgent treats like tiramisu and lemon tarts crafted by co-owner Dipo. The ambiance is cozy and romantic, with candlelit tables creating a relaxing atmosphere for an evening meal.
A true gem in Agonda! I couldn’t believe how good the food was here—we kept coming back because every meal felt like it was made with real love. Everything is fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. The dishes are clearly made from scratch with high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the authenticity in every bite. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, and the staff are attentive and kind. The Italian touch adds such a unique flair to the menu, and don’t even get me started on the desserts—they’re out of this world. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

The rating that I gave is according to the expectations that this place gave me by its look, and atmosphere. The pizzas were mediocre and the carbonara as well. For dessert we ordered tiramisu which was amazing! The food is good all around but was quite a disappointment.
Saar Z — Google review
You're asking for authentic, freshly baked pizza, this place is it ! It's run by an Italian couple, who are really nice. The pizzas come straight out of the wood fire oven with fresh ingredients. I had their special pizza and absolutely loved it. Also their coffees are too good. Had tried the iced coffee and also their cappuccino and macchiato. They come with homemade cookie. Also their dessert is yum too. Have tried the choco almond cake and the Profiterols. They have good vegan options too. And I would say, if you're a pizza lover, must visit !

The atmosphere at the restaurant was lovely and pleasant, but the food was quite disappointing. We ordered a pizza that was mediocre and a polenta dish that wasn’t on the menu but was served to us—it was very poorly prepared (the owner kindly didn’t charge us for it). The carbonara pasta lacked flavor and didn’t meet expectations. On the brighter side, the tiramisu dessert was tasty but unfortunately not fresh. Overall, the dining experience was underwhelming, despite the warm ambiance.

Well all I can say about this place is Very overrated compared to pizza restaurants in the UK. We have just visited this establishment for a special occasion, orderd Penne Carbanara which was very nice Then ordered a Quatro Stagioni Pizza for 680 ruppee and have got to say for what you got put in front of you was an absolute pisstake. We've been to many many restaurants in Agonda and had pizzas for half the price, and far more enjoyable. We will never step foot in that place again. Absolutely disgusting for what they put in front of you

Kokni Kanteen in Goa offers a taste of coastal Konkani cuisine in a homely setting with red laterite walls and vintage props. The restaurant, styled as a 1970s canteen, is known for its delicious fish thali and popular among locals and tourists alike. The decor takes you back to an old-world charm with chili clusters hanging on the walls and ceramic bharnis lining the shelves.
Went in for lunch on a weekday in off season, the place was still buzzing with patrons and tourists. The place has got a old world character, although the interiors have been modernized. Had Shravan Special thali and it was bursting with flavours. Also ordered veg stuffed papad and it was the perfect starter. The service was quick and staff was polite and helpful. First, they asked us if we were OK to share the table because of the rush, we agreed, but later when a table for 2 got empty, they quickly shifted us there without us asking them. Full marks for heartwarming service and food. They have earned another patron.

Although the place is always crowded, the food and serve is up to the mark. I love going here during my holidays because I get the food very quickly after ordering. This time I went there with my fiancé and we had a lovely time. The waiters put in so much effort to make this place work. The chefs are amazing people too who serve us good food.
Joycee F — Google review
We visited Kokni Canteen, Goa, about two weeks ago with my family. The place was packed, and we had to wait nearly two hours for our turn at lunch. The restaurant specializes in a variety of fish dishes and thalis, clearly inspired by the Maharashtrian coastal style of cooking, even though it’s located in Goa. As a Keralite, I found some of the flavours—like the slightly sweet sardine curry—a bit unfamiliar and not quite matching my usual taste preferences. Still, the meal was well-prepared, and the overall experience was pleasant. However, considering the long waiting time, I’m not entirely sure if it was worth the two-hour wait.
Sajid P — Google review
We visited Goa in the month of October during Diwali holidays. We wanted to have the best Goan thali and Google recommend us this Kokni kanteen in Panjim. The food was out of this world, we had red snapper, bombil fry, fish thali, chicken vindaloo, and sweet dish bebinca and their recommendations. Everything was beyond words. But you have to go little early as the waiting time could be more at least 1/2 hr but I tell you u won’t regret. We waited for almost an hour and never regret. It will be now our favourite place to eat in Panjim Goa. Thank you @Kokni Kanteen for serving great quality food and service.
Suman R — Google review
Tried their Fish Thali along with a Kokum Mojito. The Kokum Mojito was very refreshing and a perfect drink to go with the meal. The thali overall was good, but the fish and prawn curries really stood out — they were absolutely awesome in taste and went perfectly with the rice. I did have to wait around 45 minutes for my order, which was a bit long, but the good ambience and relaxing vibe of the place made the wait more bearable. Overall, a nice spot for seafood lovers who appreciate authentic Goan flavors.

Konkan Canteen offers a perfect Goan vibe — relaxed, warm, and full of local charm. The ambience is cozy and inviting, ideal for spending a slow, peaceful evening. A paradise for non-veg lovers, the menu brings authentic Goan flavours to every bite. Pair your meal with a drink of your choice and let the soft Goan music set the mood, a truly delightful experience that captures the spirit of Goa.

Ideal place for authentic goan food. Though there's a long wait(we had to wait for more than 45mins for a table), the food is worth the wait. We had fish thali consisting of Surmai(king fish) fry, delicious Ambotik, pomfret curry, vegetable, fish rassa & rice, kokum solkadi & gulab jamun. Also had crisp and tasty Bombay duck(bombil) & surmai fry separately. The restaurant was packed to it's gills but service was fast, helpful & courteous. Popular for konkani cuisine, patrons just prefer the long wait to savour the delectable offerings. Highly recommended & a must visit while in Goa!!

Visited this place last Sunday & the vibes inside this place are sublime. We visited for dinner & we had to wait for around 15 minutes as the tables were occupied. We ordered butter chicken & Goa & Malvani kombdi gravy, which I think the gravy was not upto the mark, the gravy was not thick enough. Also, local seafood were way too costly. Overall the food dishes served were mediocre.

A lovely place for some Italian pizza and brushetta.. lovely ambience with good parking outside…great service guys..pizza baked in wood fire oven hits different for sure .. and it’s felt light after having the pizza.. the panini was ok but the calamari salad was superb.. run by an Italian who identifies as Goan as she’s brought up here.. a lovely little gem in south Goa fr sure

I drove all the way from North Goa because I'd heard so much about this place. But the food was just okay, especially the pizza and pasta, which I thought would be amazing. The small bites were awesome, I tried the classic fries and crispy fried chicken (you gotta try it). The fries were super crispy, definitely try them if you're into that. The seafood pasta tasted too much of seafood & spicy chicken pizza wasn't spicy and felt bland were just okay. The vibe and service were great.

Perfect place to satisfy your pizza cravings! To start with, we ordered cappuccino and hot chocolate which were decent. Among the pizzas , we went for the Margherita - which was the highlight of the day for me. It was super delicious and gave the taste of an authentic pizza. We also wanted to try their pastas and chose to try Bis - which was a combination of half red sauce and half white sauce pasta. It was nice, however I have eaten better pastas than this one. To sum it all up, we went for a Brownie with ice cream which did not disappoint! Overall would recommend this place if you want to eat authentic Italian pizzas ! Special mention to their team for keeping the place super clean & providing female/baby care products in the washroom. One of the very few to be doing so. Keep it up!

I recently had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Da Tita by Magic Italy, and I could not recommend it more! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The highlight of the meal was their ravioli pasta – perfectly cooked with a soft, delicate texture and a rich, flavourful filling that melted in the mouth. Each bite felt like a little burst of authentic Italian comfort. For dessert, I indulged in their ice cream with Baileys, which was smooth, creamy, and carried the perfect hint of liqueur without being overpowering. It was a refreshing and indulgent treat. To top it all off, the tiramisu was heavenly – light, airy layers with just the right balance of coffee and sweetness. It tasted like a true classic made with love. The ambience was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive without being intrusive, making the entire evening even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place that serves authentic Italian flavours with heart, Da Tita by Magic Italy is the spot! Highly recommended for anyone craving a memorable Italian meal!

We stopped by Da Tita and decided to try two desserts — the brownie with ice cream and the ice cream with Baileys — and both were excellent! The brownie was warm, rich, and perfectly gooey, pairing beautifully with the smooth, creamy ice cream. The combination was indulgent without being overly sweet. The ice cream with Baileys was just as good — the Baileys added a nice touch of warmth and flavor that made it feel a little extra special. Overall, both desserts were well-balanced and beautifully presented. If you have a sweet tooth, I’d definitely recommend trying them — you won’t be disappointed!

This is the second time I am visiting after a gap of two years. Tasted much more better this time. Liked the complimentary snacks also. Wines are mostly from our Bengaluru Banyan vineyard's so obviously liked it a lot as usual. They will do F1 screening also it seems , sad to miss the race less weekend. I visited on 10th of this month. Pizza options are many , will get confused for sure. But all tasted too good. Service has to improve a bit. Location is great, plenty of parking available. One more Great thing is their washrooms. Excellent. Liked the fridge magnet collections also. They have kept Sanitary napkins , tissues evrything inside Women's washroom it seems ac to my wife so I liked that point too. Tiramisu is a must try.

The Goan Kitchen provides a unique dining experience for those seeking authentic Goan cuisine. Situated in Loutolim, the cafe offers a variety of local snacks and beverages while patrons enjoy Konkani music and a welcoming atmosphere. Founded by Crecy Baptista and Oliver Fernandes, The Goan Kitchen also offers cooking workshops and delivers hampers of traditional Goan dishes.
I don't often use the term 'hidden gem', but the Goan Kitchen really is one. Down a side street in Margao, they serve a selection of traditional and modern Goan snacks and desserts, and a daily changing fixed plate menu (which I recommend), all home-made. The vibe is properly Goan, including decor and Konkani music. And Edwin was a most attentive server!

Excellent place. Try everything, and pack some for home too. The lunch menu is excellent and the packaged items are all made in house. A true experience of traditional Goan cooking and products. Special mention to Edwin for his hospitality and taking the time to help us pick the products. Talk to him, take his recommendations, it’s worth it.

The Goan Kitchen is a must visit whether you are from Goa or not. Their food quality and variety is incredible. If you’re looking for nachini bhakri, tender coconut pudding (or so much more that is lesser known) just head here. They probably have the best prawn curry I have found in Goa. The hospitality is amazing! 🤩
Heena S — Google review
Purchased 4 varieties of savoury pastries from here, and this is how I would rate each one of them 1. Chicken pan rolls were delicious, chunky rolls that are filled with shredded chicken and most likely cabbage and are perfectly cooked with the ideal ratio of dough to filling. I rate this a 4. 2. Prawn Rissois: delicious, aesthetically pleasing, golden bite-sized puffs that preserve the prawn's natural flavor. Unlike other eateries that provide hollow puffs with very few prawns and onions in masala, these puffs tasted different and were full. I rate this a 5. 3. Chicken Croquettes - too sweet, it felt like popping a candy after a meal. Absolutely not suited for my taste buds. I rate this a 1. 4. Chorizo Empanadas - again too sweet, trust me those attractive tarts would have tasted better with custard instead of sweetened Chorizo 😁. I rate this a 1. Parking is pretty difficult to get. Staff members Sonia and Edwin went above and beyond to promote the establishment and were incredibly friendly, polite, and helpful. Hygiene - the place is spotlessly clean. Prices of items - In comparison to the total flavor experience, the prices of the things are a little higher. Would I visit this place again 🤔? I may try the food next but not the puffs.

Mum's Kitchen is a cozy restaurant in Panaji, offering traditional Goan cuisine with a focus on authentic, home-cooked flavors. The owners, Suzette and Rony, have delved into household recipes to capture the essence of Goan culinary heritage. The menu features a diverse range of dishes representing Hindu, Christian, and Portuguese influences from across Goa. This establishment has been a go-to spot for those seeking an immersive experience of local Goan food since 1997.
Excellent place with authentic Goa cuisines. The whole place from the entry to the decor is very unique and earthen. It provides a very new experience for dining. Service staff were excellent and helped to recommend the right food. The service and the whole dining experience was exceptional. Kudos to the staff. There are limited vegetarian options but the food stays true to the Goan traditions. Serradura is a highly recommended dessert for Mum’s Kitchen.

Excellent dining experience at Mum's kitchen. Servers were faultless, the country music was superb, and food was fantastic! We had the baby tiger prawns with probably the best masala rava fry we've tasted in Goa. The prawns & okra curry (Olga's) was perfect with Goan rice, and felt authentic. We loved the gravy so much we needed an extra portion of rice! Feijoada was decent, but perhaps lacking in quantity of chouriço. Overall, the perfect dining experience - a must-visit whilst in Panjim.

Lovely place with cool vibes and warm service. Stopped by Mum’s Kitchen for dinner and really liked the relaxed, homely atmosphere — it’s one of those places that immediately makes you slow down and enjoy your meal. The staff were polite and attentive, and service was smooth. The Chonak (rava fry) I tried was delicious — fresh fish, nicely crisped, and perfectly seasoned. Good selection for seafood lovers! That said, the menu is a bit limited and slightly on the pricier side — for example, just one veg soup and one non-veg soup option. And ₹5200 for 3 people. Only 1 non-vegiteran 😅 But overall, it’s a great spot to experience authentic Goan flavors in a calm, comfortable setting.

Mum's Kitchen is a cozy place nestled in a very good area of Goa.You visit the tourist places nearby and then can spend Brunch or Lunch here. We went for family lunch of 6 people and could easily find seat with 10-15 minutes waiting. This place a is aheaven for NON Veg options. I recommend Vindalhoo of all types. However do not recommend much to vegetarians, very limited assortment, which will feel slightly pricey too. However overall a good place for authentic Goan sea food lovers.

We drove from Margao to Panjim just to dine at Mum’s Kitchen and boy oh boy, it was well worth. The food stood out authentic and yummy, however the entire lunch experience was well curated with the warmth and hospitality of the team. This is one of the few places in Goa which retains its identity. Impeccable service, awesome playlist of country songs, premium crockery cutlery and glassware, well maintained restaurant. If look at the table in detail, you would notice a bag hook on one of the legs. All in all it was a truly memorable experience. Thank you team. Will come back soon. 😊

Little World is a vibrant and cozy cafe located in Palolem, South Goa. The casual dining room offers a variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes in a lively space with facilities for kids. The cafe features multi-colored decor, swings, tree trunks, and surrounding greenery such as palm trees and a garden. Additionally, it houses a store selling jewelry and mementos.
Little world is surely a little paradise for Vegetarians in Palolem, Goa. We found this restaurant on the last day of our trip and it gave a perfect closure to us. From the set up, to pretty lights, atmosphere, service and obviously food, everything is just perfect here. You will find a wide range and creativity in their menu which will tempt you to visit this place again and again.

This place is wonderful for its super super tasty chai and WiFi. Great outdoor seating/lounging. Bathroom is always clean, but had rocks for the floor so if you sit outside, carry your shoes out with you if you have sensitive feet. The food is fresh and tasty. Staff is sweet. I have spent hours here.

Amazing place for veg and vegan cuisine. The ambience is really very nice. This place is a non smoking zone. The food is amazing, choose anything from the menu. The menu also has the cultural touch. The place serves Indian, Israeli, continental, American foods. The restaurant has a section where cups and other souvenirs are sold. I even bought a local jam made from Strawberries, Raspberries and Blueberries with no preservatives. Must try items Potato Honey chips, Pancake, Paneer butter masala, Cutie cucumber juice and MASALA CHAI. The owner of the restaurant is also very friendly and very devoted to Lord Shiva

We came here 5 times and didn’t even go to another place in Palolem, because it was so good! We tried multiple things from the menu and everything was exceptionally fresh and delicious! The staff is very friendly and all in all they offer very good value for money. Definitely my favorite place for food in India!

Visited here for breakfast multiple times and dinner one evening. The staff are really friendly and the food is always delicious. The Masala Chai is one of the best I've tasted in India. The vibe in the morning is nice and relaxed here and the food is really fresh and tasty, plus nice sized portions. HIGHLY recommend.

Peaceful, one of the best restaurant in goa. You will feel really awesome on your every visit. The theme touched my heart. We had indian vegetarian food that was also wonderful. They have complete indian theme, most time in morning and evening you can have indian godes devotional songs. That's make this place more interesting. It's good for kids too.. in back side they have some activity's for children's. Overall I will recommend this restaurant.. if u want to have good veg food must visit here.

Located in palolem, this place is hard to miss as it is in the market area behind the beach. It is beautiful, warm, well lit cafe which serves lip smacking food. The interiors are quite artistic and creative. The aroma too is divine! Also the service is great as the staff is quick and polite. I ordered a Mediterranean platter, masala chai and mexican melt sandwich 🥪, both of these dishes were totally out of the world, not to forget the masala chai which was just what I needed being a tea aficionado ❤️ Must visit if you are in palolem!

Nestled along the stunning Benaulim Beach, JOHNCY RESTAURANT & BAR is a delightful oceanfront eatery that has evolved from its humble beginnings in 1985 into a must-visit culinary hotspot. This airy venue offers an inviting atmosphere with beachside tables where guests can savor an array of locally sourced seafood and global dishes.
The food was delicious. The white sauce pasta and batter fried squids are to die for. Very affordable too!! The pleasant sea view and seating out in the sand makes you feel one with the earth. The service was quick and everyone was amiable. Lovely atmosphere. Would recommend without a second thought.

Come on in and have a seat overlooking the Arabian Sea! Now that is one of the best experiences in life you can have while dining! If you're looking for great food and some entertainment to go along with it, you will love this restaurant to spend a lovely evening. Not only do they serve excellent meat, seafood and veggie dishes but they specialize in true Goan cooking as well, which is the main reason I have reviewed this restaurant. You can sit in the restaurant watching the ocean waves gently roll, or if you wish you can have a table on the sands as well, allowing yourself to be grounded while you dine. The prices are quite reasonable when it comes to quality food, not to mention that your food orders are always freshly cooked for you. On that note, I should also mention that the waiters are always ready and willing to serve your needs. The bar is fully stocked with local and imported beers and wines to accompany your complete dinner requirements. Bathrooms are constantly maintained for cleanliness. You can park your bike or car just outside the restaurant's parking space. After you've enjoyed your meal, join in the karaoke and sing your heart out as you mingle with other guests. It's really good for your blood circulation ha ha. Oh and don't forget to check out their popular candle-light dinners, served when the sun goes down....it's great for couples: gets you in the mood for a happy ending to a wonderful evening (hint hint).

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 Stars: Speedy Service and Stellar Goan Seafood! JOHNCY RESTAURANT & BAR truly shines as a fantastic beachfront dining option. Located right on the beach, the restaurant is very nicely maintained and offers a beautiful, relaxed setting—perfect for the dinner we had planned. We started our meal with the Chicken Manchow soup, which was unfortunately just ok ok type; nothing particularly memorable there. However, the disappointment was quickly forgotten once the main courses arrived! We ordered the squid in Goan-style masala and Prawns Vindaloo, served alongside some steamed rice, and everything was absolutely yummy. The flavors were authentic and satisfying. To finish, we indulged in the custard pudding, which was truly mazedar (delicious). The major highlight of our visit, beyond the delicious food, was the incredible delivery speed. This isn't an exaggeration: you order anything, and by the time you'd expect them to have just started cooking, the dish is already on your table! It makes for an exceptionally smooth and quick dining experience. The staff were also very humble and attentive throughout the evening. Overall, the average soup couldn't detract from the excellent seafood, great ambiance, and the mind-blowing efficiency of the service. Highly recommended!

Visited on 16th Aug 2025: Dishes ordered: King fish (masala fry - this is sweet) Prawns biryani Dal fry & steam rice (for my kid) Detailed review: - Uncooked raw prawns served to us. Prawns biryani is pathetic! - Masala fry King fish was well cooked but the stink is not gone - you'll know when you eat. Feels like they have not cleaned it well. (I eat fish regularly, I know what is cleaned well and what is not) - While ordering they mention that nothing can be done if the food is not good. So, order and eat at your own risk. - Service is extremely poor. Since the footfall of customers is huge, they don't give a damn! I told the captain that they should have served cooked prawns and he said nothing can be done now 😅. I said it's ok I'm not asking for a change of dish/replacement, I'll share my feedback as a review, the captain said, yea do whatever you want🥲. I didn't know he would take that personal. - Dal fry was very good but not spicy. The 1 star is for dal fry👍 If you visit the place for drinks, well cooked or not doesn't matter. 🤣 Overall, had a bad experience. Wouldn't suggest anyone to visit this place. Sharing the bill picture so that the restaurant doesn't say this review is fake.

An incredible place! We stayed nearby and had lunch here on our first day in Palolem. We loved it so much that we enquired about availability in 1 of the 3 beach rooms they have next to the restaurant. Wonderful rooms at a reasonable price...highly recommend! The food and drinks are wonderful, we ate here most days and kept extending our stay because we enjoyed it so much. The service was great. The whole team are friendly, attentive, and work extremely hard. There beach sun loungers get taken quickly mid morning so head around breakfast time to ensure a place. The design and ambience make you feel completely relaxed and on holiday. Thanks Team Zest for the best stay in Goa!

This place gives you that instant holiday feel! Very relaxing and chill vibe. The food is good and the staff are very friendly. We’ve been here many times and always satisfied about the food. They also have the best coffee in town with a good espresso machine. Even non-vegetarians will be surprised at how good vegetarian can be as there is a lot to choose from on the menu. The service at the beach beds could improve though , as we had to get up sometimes to look for the waiter. But i am very satisfied about this place and definitely recommend it!

We’ve been in Palolem beach for 3 days, we’ve had lunch twice here already! The food is fresh and healthy so you feel good after eating, the service is good and attentive, and the deco and location perfect. It’s not particularly more expensive than other beach front restaurants but has the extra touch we were looking for to really make you feel like you’re in paradise. They even managed a good macchiato.

The warm & hospitable staff & delicious food had me back here over & over & over.... I loved eating here on an almost daily basis. All the dishes I tried were tasty & great portion sizes. The men who work here are incredible, always ready to greet me with a smile. I often saw women begging & the young men would walk out & chat to them & give them money & a kind word. It was very humbling to see. This was my favourite place to eat in all of Patnem & Palolem - don’t miss it.

We found this gem on our first night (luckily) and have been back here for either lunch or dinner most days. The food is very tasty, the place has a great vibe and lovely decor to top it off. It’s a little more pricey than other places around but everything we’ve tried was worth it. Would recommend the pink lady smoothie bowl, mushroom/spinach lasagne, hummus, and burgers.

We tried the Pan-Seared Fish with Roasted Vegetables and Butter Rice (Butter Garlic Sauce), Fish Meunière with Grilled Potatoes and Roasted Vegetables (Lemon Garlic Sauce), and Bebinca with Ice Cream for dessert. Great coffee and pastries at this location! Tried the cappuccino with soy milk, cortado, and a chocolate roll and loved them all! Good place to work, study, chill and big plus they have an AC kids place/yoga location in the front. The yoga classes are 300 rupees, which is pretty cheap compared to the other classes offered around here, but sadly I didn’t join a class. Also, straws are made from sugar cane since they’re a plastic-free location! Only downfall is that there are a few outlets that are usually taken, but worth the trip!!

I visited this cafe as a part of complimentary breakfast provided by the hotel I stayed in. The cafe was very well maintained with disciplined staff. Also, the surroundings were neat and clean. I had masala omlette and milk tea. The omlette was good. Just a FYI, in most of the cafe in Goa, you will get tea without sugar and you will be given powder sugar. So as we did not have to pay for the breakfast I would say it was good as obviously the taste was good. But if you will go by the price, you will find it way expensive and neither they will offer you any discount. If you really don't wish to loose on money then this might not be an ideal cafe for you. But if you are okay doing that then it could be the right choice for you.

This is on the beach road near the T road junction. The breakfast menu is geared more towards European and North American clientele. However, the food is tasty and good. This is second year in a row that I have visited this restaurant for breakfast. The staff is friendly. Ourem 88, a British restaurant run by Brett, offers top-notch continental cuisine. The Mill, located in an old rice mill with its original thrasher, is known for its delicious homemade fettucine. Ramas Kitchen serves authentic Goan fish thali while Bhakti Kutir offers Kerala sadhya on Sundays. For a lighter option, Millies Kitchen on Agonda road provides wholesome home-cooked meals with a personal touch from Millie aunty.
An incredibly good restaurant, that transports you to a British pub in the middle of South Goa. Everything we had was delicious... I only wish we had more space to try more dishes. Brett is a great host and the space is lovely. Hope we get to go back soon. Book in advance if you're going.

The host (Rajat) we were staying at recommended us of here and went on and on about how amazing this amazing little place is. At a point, i was wondering how amazing can the food be for one to talk so high about it?! But i am super happy to be pleasantly surprised and this has been one of the best meals i have ever had all my life! Brett is a sweet heart who’ll try and do everything to accommodate you and take you over the menu with so much passion about the outstanding food they make. Make sure you make a booking before-hand because this is a small space and they serve only between 6-9 pm and only about 6-10 tables a night. That should explain their small batch expertise. The elderflower gin was too good to be true. My personal favorite out of all the food we had was the Espresso Crème Brûlée which was right on point and the Quiche is to die for! The quiche reminded me of my dearest human who loves quiche in-general and actually bought tears to my eyes since he wasn’t present there with me that day. Thank you for squeezing in some time for us even though you were running full, Brett! And thanks for the incredible work you guys do which proves food is so much more than just the tongue. I wish you and Jodie all the good health and strength to keep giving us these superlative experiences. Cheers! Coming back soon for more xx

This has always been in my go to list till this March when I could finally visit. The food here is amazing. The place is perfect for a dinner date out or even a group of friends enjoying a great meal together. They have great starters and main courses. The host is a great guy who comes with detailed recommendations. The crowd is mostly foreigners. I didn't get a table during news years but fortunately got one this time. We had their kingfish with Apple chutney. The fish in any of their dishes is going to be great.

This is a hidden gem in South Goa. A perfect place for good food connoisseurs and travelers who'd like to add a fine dine experience to their travel. It's run by Brett, from London. There are only 7 tables, so booking a table in advance is necessary. The ambience is simple yet very warm and welcoming. Brett will explain you certain dishes in the menu which needs to be explained. Brett will personally take your order and serve you. The food is by far the best I've had a Goa, in terms of the taste, the quality and quantity. I'm not going to describe every dish that I had. But the fish was fresh and cooked to perfection, the meat was juicy, succulent and again, cooked to perfection. The consistency of the sauce, after cooling down a bit, with the steak was smooth and thick with excellent flavours. I personally don't like to spoil the taste of the main course but the desserts were excellent. Small and cosy but a must visit place in South Goa. Just one thing, this place is CLOSED ON MONDAYS and it's a DINNER ONLY place. Plan accordingly if you don't want to miss dining here. Ourem 88 is a bit expensive but, worth every penny for the entire delightful experience. If your lady love is a food lover, she won't reject your proposal for marriage if you propose her here. Highly recommended.

Went for my birthday dinner and what a wonderful experience we have had. The place is small simple and very tastefully done. Bret, the owner was very friendly. He is also very honest - like when we were ordering some sides along with other items, he suggested to wait and order later if we still feel the need for it. Really appreciated how he focused more on customer experiences rather than his own profits. When we asked if he bakes the breads, he said that he buys them from a local bakery (not taking credit and also giving due credit and promotion to local businesses). The food was at a different level altogether. The taste was so on spot and you can feel all the flavours. My personal favourite was the chocolate fondant and the smoked and mashed Kingfish (don't recall the name of the dish as I was busy devouring it). Thanks a lot Bret and team for making the birthday experience so wonderful.

This place is an absolute hidden gem. I've been to some of the best restaurants in Goa and this place is right on top - among maybe the top 3 in terms of service and food taste and quality. We just happened to go, these since we couldn't find any well rated places on Zomato this side of town, and we couldn't have been more surprised. The host is a gem of a guy who ensures you have the best experience from start to end. He greets you, personally walks you through the menu, reads off the daily specials, and even recommends what you are likely to enjoy based on your meat/other preferences. He was there throughout, checking on us at every course of the meal if we were having a good time. I don't think one could be a better host. And he was this hospitable to every table, every guest. The food was fantastic -- presentation, preperation, and taste. I tried the beetroot carpacio, baked feta and peppers, Chicken Kiev, and vanilla panna cotta with passion fruit. Everything was very elegantly prepared and presented and all the flavours were on point. The Kiev deserves a special call out, it's the best I've ever had. This place has my highest recommendation. Do visit when you can. The prices may appear steep at a glance -- can go as high as 900 a main. But I found everything well worth it, especially when you consider the portions. I paid roughly 2,500 for a dinner of two, and every penny was well spent (especially when you consider that you would anyway not spend less than 1700-2000 on a dining experience comparable to a fine dine in terms of taste and presentation).

We went to this place to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Food was extremely delicious. And everything was 10/10. However I have only one concern that I have to convey to the owner is that please restrict the female ornament sellers since they are so annoying that you neither can eat peacefully nor talk. We already made beaded hair from one of them and suddenly a swarm of them came to us and started forcing us to buy their ornaments. Moreover when we denied they started talking extremely rudely to us and started blaming us for wasting their time. In fact when we tried to leave the restaurant they started following us and shouting at us to buy their ornaments. So please try to figure out a solution for them because they keep roaming from table to table every time forcing people to buy stuff from them, otherwise the restaurant might get a bad name because of them and people might also get irritated by them and may not come back. All the best for your restaurant! To conclude, the food was amazing however the sellers were annoying. Hope to see you again soon with a solution.

By far the best fish thali I had in Goa! I had the modso fish thali, it’s better than kingfish, lot of variety in thali. I would love to come again! The roast beef was pretty mid.

Absolutely loved our meal with a view here! The food was delicious — the thali, Chonok fish,Calamari and crab were all outstanding. Big thanks to Jane for the lovely recommendations and warm hospitality. The best part it is pet-friendly too!

Had a great experience at Pedro’s Bar and Restaurant! The food quality was excellent — every dish was fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. The staff were very friendly and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. Prices are quite reasonable too, not too heavy on the pocket. A perfect place to relax, enjoy good food, and have a great time with friends or family!

I had a wonderful food experience here ! this dish was not part of menu.. suggested by owner who are putting heart & soul to make every visit memorable for Goa lovers.. its a home cook prawns starter nothing fancy but taste amazing.. must try if someone like spicy preparation .. keep going Team Pedro’s..

This is one of the best place to eat goan foods like local. Run by family and the Mom cooks all the food which is delicious. I would recommend everyone to let them choose for you and you will witness the great taste of goan food.

I liked everything about this place, except the owner who was unapologetically rude for no reason, as if I know what's present in the menu or not before ordering. Her waiters also did not say it's not present. I went there twice before and then on my third visit shw was there and she created a bad experience for me there. What a rude person basically a KAREEN!

Visited Pedro’s Bar & Restaurant recently, and I must say the service and hospitality were truly superb and welcoming. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile and genuine attentiveness. I believe the host was the owner’s daughter, and she did a fantastic job, very prompt, professional, and ensured every order was taken accurately and served without delay. It’s rare to see such hands-on and attentive service, and that really added to the overall experience. As for the food, it was decent but could definitely be better. While the presentation and portion sizes were fine, the flavors didn’t quite match the high level of service. I feel there’s room for improvement in the taste and overall consistency of the dishes. That said, the ambience and hospitality made up for it, creating a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. If I’m ever in South Goa again, I wouldn’t mind stopping by — not necessarily just for the food, but for the warm service and relaxing vibe the place offers. ⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ Overall: A pleasant experience with outstanding service, just wish the food matched the same level of excellence.

German Bakery, located in South Anjuna, Goa, is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. The bakery offers a wide range of delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner options such as croissants, burgers, pastas, puddings, cakes, brownies and pies. In addition to the tasty treats on offer here are healthy options like wheatgrass shots and herbal teas. The cozy atmosphere with comfortable seating and free Wi-Fi makes it an ideal place to spend an afternoon or evening.
It took us some time to figure out the location of this place — to be honest, we even drove past the gate once! But as they say, all good things come after a little hard work. We finally found it and sat at a quaint little table. The place has a charming old Goa vibe, with a lovely showcase of bakery items right as you enter. My girlfriend couldn’t resist and ended up ordering some sweet and savory snacks from the display. For our main meal, we went for a Spanish Breakfast and an All-American Breakfast. It turned out to be way too much food for the two of us, but everything was delicious — and we made sure not to waste a single bite. It kept our bellies full well into the late afternoon. A really nice, cozy spot. Glad we found it — and we’ll definitely try to visit again next time we're in Palolem!

Good Food, But Missing the "Wow" Factor We actually set out this morning looking for some authentic Goan breakfast and ended up at German Bakery purely by accident after seeing the consistently high review ratings. We decided to embrace the change and try their popular English and French breakfast options. Our first order was the English Breakfast. Unfortunately, the cheesy toast that came with it was heavily overbaked, making it totally hard and difficult to enjoy. The plate also came with an omelette, chicken slices, and butter garlic mushrooms, which were excellent. Our second plate, the French Breakfast, was noticeably better; it cleverly replaced the bread with a flaky croissant and the omelette with a scrambled egg. This version was definitely the superior choice. My son tried the Nutella spread pancake and really liked it, which was a win. For drinks, the normal and black coffee were just average in taste, but the hot chocolate was good. I won't say that the place isn't worthy of a visit, but we just didn't find that special "wow" factor we were hoping for. Moreover, the food overall was incredibly heavy—we didn't feel like having anything for the next five to six hours! Come hungry, and perhaps stick to the French breakfast.

Absolutely loved our visit to German Bakery in South Goa! We tried a variety of desserts lemon cake, coffee cream cake, choco ball, and chocolate roll, and every single one was absolutely delicious. Each dessert had the perfect balance of flavors, freshness, and sweetness. The best part is that everything was super budget-friendly without compromising on quality. The vibe of the place is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to start your day. If you’re in Palolem, A must-visit spot for anyone with a sweet tooth. Highly recommend!

Loved the breakfast! We tried both the Special breakfast and English breakfast, the service was excellent. The portions were generous and well worth the price. However, we also ordered their chocolate brownie cake for a birthday, and that was quite disappointing — it was a bit hard on the inside and not sweet enough.

This place is absolutely amazing. The service here is excellent, the staff is really polite and helpful. All the food items here are delicious and the quantity is great as well. The prices are quite affordable as well.
Mohit K — Google review
The very best part is the owner and staff. Even if the food was not good, I would have given 5 star just because of the friendly service. However, their food is also top notch with fresh products and quality taste. I tried their most recommended dish, Banoffee. For me it was just okay. Maybe because I am not a fan of pies. The english breakfast, tea was so good that I would be returning for breakfast whenever I am here. They also have some mouth watering bakery items you must try.

Visited this restaurant for some morning breakfast and beverages. Our group tried all the Breakfast combos - Israeli Breakfast, English Breakfast, American Breakfast and a simple Omelette. Each one of us tried all the breakfast options, and needless to say, we thoughroughly enjoyed all the food items with equilateral excitements. We also ordered tea and black coffee, and got to commend their offered quantity for the price. Much recommended if you are staying near Palolem beach and want a no-nonsense place for your breakfast/brunch.

Hotel Anantashram is a charming eatery located in the lively streets of Vasco da Gama, Goa. It is renowned for its authentic coastal Indian cuisine and delectable seafood dishes. The restaurant offers a cozy ambiance and affordable prices, inviting diners to experience the rich culinary heritage of Goa. With its proximity to Vasco da Gama rail station, it provides excellent food and service, making it a convenient dining option for both locals and visitors alike.
Goan style thali and a-la-carte available here. Located at the heart of the city Vasco. Thali serves with three or four fish dishes. Thali price is also very reasonable. Goan style curry is available. Must try if visiting Vasco-Da-Gama. Ambience is also good. Parking available.

Was very keen to revisit this place & see the changes since my last visit over 20+years. So, travelled 39 kms (each way) to check it out. This restaurant in the by-lanes of Vasco city is spread over 3 sections, 2ac areas, 1 non ac area. Totally ~200 pax seating. Went for an early lunch. Drinks: Whiskey sour cocktail, & sol kadi. Starters: Mori (shark) masala, velho (silver fish), both rava fried. Entrée: Sp fish thali (chonak) - their speciality, & mackerel reshado. Well, the food & overall experience was somewhat Average. Service (by Jeet) was good. Would suggest this restaurant only if you happen to be in or around Vasco. (My driving 78 kms for the meal was more for nostalgia).

The place has a good ambience and a pleasant vibe. It tends to get quite busy during lunch hours, so expect a bit of a wait. I ordered the fish thali, which came with a variety of items – the overall taste was satisfactory. The mocktails were refreshing and nicely done. Food was okay, nothing exceptional, but a decent spot for a casual meal.

Anantashram is truly known for its seafood and biryani. We had pre-ordered their Matka Dum Chicken Biryani for 6 people, and it was absolutely amazing – served with raita and packed with flavor. We specially traveled from Margao just to pick up this order, and it was well worth it! The order was taken instantly over the phone without any prepayment, and it was ready right on time – not a minute of waiting. I also decided to add some veg dishes last minute, and the team quickly prepared them while I enjoyed a chilled beer at the restaurant. The Matka Biryani quantity was so generous that it easily served 10 people, and we relished every bite. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the Paneer Makhni was delicious too. They do take a refundable deposit of ₹250 for the matka, which is reasonable. The counter guy was also kind enough to send his boys to place the heavy matka in the car, which was a thoughtful gesture. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with great food, prompt service, and excellent hospitality. Highly recommended!

Anantashram in Vasco Da Gama,Goa is one of the best places to enjoy authentic Goan and seafood delicacies. Their famous fish thali offers generous portions of fresh fish, prawns, and curry with rich, traditional flavours. The restaurant maintains a clean and pleasant ambience, perfect for families and groups. Service is friendly and attentive, though it can get slightly slow during peak hours. The beverages menu includes refreshing lime soda, soft drinks, and fresh juices that complement the meals perfectly. Prices are reasonable for the quality served. Overall, Anantashram delivers a satisfying dining experience with authentic taste, good service, and value for money.

1. The mocktails were good. 2. However, the fish thali was quite disappointing. We ordered Modso and Chanak thalis, and both the fish had a strong, unpleasant smell. It would be great if you could hire a Goan cook and ensure better quality fish — customers pay a good amount and expect quality food. It’s not the same Anantashram we had heard so much about. 😕

Walking into Club Mahindra Emerald Palms is an experience 😊 all the associates, right from the guard at the gate to the front desk team, all ensure to greet you with a smile. As you step into 'Barbeque Bay' be prepared to be greeted with a variety of aromas that will surely tickle your taste buds, tease you in a way in which you'd drool in an instant! Once seated you'd be served starters, a little chaat treat - enjoy the mix of flavours! After which a live barbecue grill will be placed in front of you, burning hot... A variety of options to choose from, fish, chicken, prawns and vegetables all hot and fresh, ready to eat right off the grill! A must have are the chicken tikkas and paneer tikkas... Be sure to dip em in the lip smacking sauces that accompany it. A big thank you to Pradipta 😊 ensured we were taken care of well right from the beginning of our meal. F&B associates Khadk and Pankaj were very kind and courteous.. they served us with a smile, also made an effort to suggest and provide us with little tid bits to have along with the main course. Kudos to them! Their energy and attitude is commendable. We even struck up an interesting conversation with them. I'm sure associates like them really add value to the experience of a place like this. A big big thank you to Chefs Karan and Ajinkya who personally welcomed us and inquired us if the food was up to the mark and if there was anything that they could assist us with. All I can say that the food was simply amazing! Especially the tandoori prawns!!! Yummmmmm!!! A must visit for small occasions and get togethers with family and friends. 5 on 5 stars to the team at Barbeque Bay 😎

We had an outstanding experience last evening at Clubmahindra Emerald Palms. Credit goes to the General Manager Mr. Pal . I wish I could meet him personally and compliment him for the fabulous job he is been doing. He has trained his team well towards perfection . Something else which has really moved my heart was the kind gesture of Chef Salim he knew my likes dislikes and preferences even after 5 years . The menu was just perfect it suited our taste buds the concept of barbecue went well with all of us . One must visit to dine at the Barbecue Bay. We relished every dish which was served to us . Chef Pawan ,Chef Vikram and the other chefs have gone out of the way to keep our stomachs crave for more . The warmth and the welcome given to us by Ranjit and Toussif made us feel as if we were dinning at home every request was handled with care they went the extra mile to bring in a smile on our face . In short in my dramatic language all the actors performed well and the our celebration was super hit. Thanks Chetak for recommending and pushing your resort to us guess we made the right decision. We will definitely host all our events with you guys and encourage our friends too. Cheers!

The staff are very courteous no doubt, but the food is not worth the price, club manhindra simply has schemes that cheat customers, that is what my experience is. All the barbeecued items have same taste, only the variety is for namesake. Did not like the maincourse at all. When I realised I have been made fool of in the name of scene, I decided to give it a 1*

After seeing good review we came along with friend and family to celebrate their anniversary in a good place in South Goa...but what we got was extremely surprising!!! Only car owner with their own car can take entry...no rented cars are allowed...it seems to be one of the most stupid decession !!! Tourists come from different state and they may not be having car here but because of this you can't take entry....not able to welcome this at all!!!! We had gone their after 15km drive and their location on trip advisor was wrong like 3km away from the exact location....after that second drama started !!!! Plz publish the basic information for us who all are visitors in Goa!!!!

Decent place to satisfy your cravings for Italian food. I tried the Paloma cocktail - it had a nice fruity touch to it. Would recommend their Goodfellas pizza which was full of flavors and sauces. We also ordered their Chicken burger - it was delicious too. Overall a great experience in terms of food. The ambience is nice but it's super hot inspite of the fans around. If only they had coolers too I think that would add to the comfort.

Good vibes, great crust, and a slice of Goa on a plate. 🍕 Food: We tried the Carbonara Pasta, Pesto Pasta, and the signature Goodfellas Pizza, everything hit the spot. Solid 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ambience: Cozy little space with warm lighting and rustic wooden furniture. Room for improvement: Not the biggest fan of the music and sound system. I heard they have live music on Sundays, but a better playlist on other days wouldn’t hurt. 😊

We ordered Rava Masala Dosa and Puri Bhaji along with Tea. Rava Masala Dosa was bit soggy on outer side and seems like they had put bit of turmeric in the batter but taste was still good. Right amount of potato mash masala inside was perfect in taste. Puri Bhaji had 3pcs of poori along with Bhaji(Not green potato mash bhaji) and chutney. The Southern Deck restaurant was one of the destination which was on our bucket list. On two times we were not able to secure a table for us for having a dinner at the restaurant. This time we were in South Goa and we thought to visit the restaurant for having our lunch. Fearful of our previous experience I had booked a table through District app. We reached the restaurant at around 1.45 pm and were able to find a table. At that time, even on a Sunday afternoon, there were couple of tables which were available. We settled for a table overlooking the beach. We were quite full after devouring buffet breakfast and opted for limited meal. We ordered for Pan grilled Snapper Steak and 5 Spice Chicken along with Sweet lime Sodas. The dishes were nice particularly we liked the Steak while the 5 Spice Chicken was ok. The restaurant is next to the beach and offers good view of the Arabian sea. They serve pork and beef. They have a AC dinning area, though, according to me such beach side restaurants are best enjoyed when dinning in open section. They have a Bar and also have choices for Hookah. One of the highlights for us was a highly energetic and engaging lead singer of the restaurant. One can choose to dine during lunch or dinner which have their own merits, however, I strongly recommend to book the table in advance if you intend to visit the restaurant for dinner. Do share your like if you found the review useful.

So glad I finally hit up Southern Deck Cafe, it was awesome! The vibes are just perfect here, you get that great beach view right from your table. Seriously, the access to the beach is so easy, you can just wander down after you eat, which I loved. We tried a bunch of stuff: the white sauce pasta and pizza were solid, but you absolutely have to try the layered Biscoff cheesecake, it was seriously good. It’s surprisingly cheap, too! The only heads-up is that it’s a bit of a trip from Varka, but honestly, the food and the setting totally make the drive worth it.
Ayush D — Google review
It's good if you have a booking and visit late evening like after 9. The ambience is really cool and vibrant. Apparently we didn't have a good time here, as we were not able to get the reservation and came in as a walk in at 8. They literally gave us a corner boring table even though we were a group of 9 people. Where there was dark, humid with no fan/AC. Food was average compared to price and veg options were very less. The vibe with singers and all was great.
SHREYA B — Google review
Great location with wonderful ambiance! The place has ambient sitting area with access to beach . The sunset time is the best time to visit Often the place is very crowded so advance booking is recommended! There’s also live music which adds up to the vibe of Goa. Food is also good just the service could be little better but due to the excess crowd it’s expected that the order might get little delayed. Southern deck has beach view tables, good food and cocktails. We visited this place twice, once for lunch and Friday night for dinner. During day time the sea view from the restaurant is beautiful, music at the background, good food and cocktails, Kumar recommend us some good options in cocktails. Friday nigh the experience was completely different and amazing. Live music made people dance. The picture and video will say it all. Must visit place. Washroom were clean and maintained well. Have ample of parking space for 2 and 4 wheelers.

Goan restaurant
Seafood restaurant
The Goan Room is a top restaurant in Goa known for its authentic Goan cuisine with a creative twist. The restaurant offers traditional dishes like vindaloo served in a coconut shell and seafood xacuti presented in a bamboo basket. The ambiance is lively, with playful decor spread across two levels, providing the perfect setting to enjoy the sunset while sipping on unique cocktails like cashew-feni mixture.
The ambiance is so cozy and welcoming. The comfortable seating made it perfect for a relaxed lunch. I had ordered Patrav Thali and lepo fry, which were so amazing...I could recommend you to try their Patrav Thali which was so delicious and also the fish was fresh and very well fried.

Nice place for lunch food is decent not very exceptional. Fish is ok but Sungtache Dangar is too good here. One of the best. Fish thalid are good and filling and drinks are good too... sitting looks bit conjusted rest all is good. Nice fish place in around panjim

A must go for lunch time. Had the regular thali which was well priced and really good. Some days it comes with 'chonak' and other days 'modso'. The curry is just amazing. The service can a be a little testing on your patience as it gets pretty busy after 1:30pm. It can get a little noisy and difficult to have a conversation while the music and the noise from the other tourists.dinning. And if you have a car you can't get beyond a check post due to the residents and have to park in the parking lot 100 mtrs away. But it's all worth it

Perfect for Goan thali and sea food. I make it a point to visit this place during my annual Goa family holiday trips. I tried the fish thali this time in many other locations - Segundo Bairo, Longuinhos, Colva etc but none to beat ‘The Goan Room’. Also the thali is very easy on the pocket compared to the other ones. Love this place 😀

Nestled in the charming locale of Majorda, Carpe Diem Art Gallery, Learning Centre and Cafe is a delightful haven for art lovers and food enthusiasts alike. This quaint spot invites you to savor gourmet delights like their signature Meat Eaters Club sandwich or indulge in sweet and savory waffles while sipping on expertly brewed coffee. The cozy ambiance makes it an ideal place to unwind with a good book or engage in lively conversations with friends.
We absolutely loved this place - from the gallery to the cafe! As artists, we enjoyed getting lost in the great selection of artworks displayed at the gallery. The cafe area is just gorgeous! surrounded by greenery and cute artworks on the walls and the tables! They have carefully displayed hand painted tiles on each table. The food servings are enormous, which is just amazing! The generosity and the quality of food is superb! We would recommend the English Breakfast and any of the waffles! This was one of the very few places where we got GOOD hot coffee! The people there are friendly, courteous, artsy and such a pleasure to be around! Definitely spend a good amount of time here if you're creativly inclined. You'll certainly be inspired just by being here and hearing about all the workshops they hold regularly. This would definitely be my daily breakfast/brunch place if i was living in Goa!

This is an art gallery with a small cafe which serves some really good food. We had some coffee, Oreo shakes and apple crumble which were all good. They had some lovely art on display and an art session going on which was cozy. Inspite of being short staffed, the food came quickly and was nice.

Disappointed Experience,Not as Expected 😕 I had been wanting to visit Carpe Diem Art Gallery, Learning Centre and Café for quite some time, but when I finally did, the experience was just okayish, definitely not the “wow” moment I was hoping for, given the name and reputation. The first impression wasn’t great. We were greeted not by staff, but by a pack of dogs at the entrance. For those who are scared of dogs, I’d honestly recommend ringing a bell before entering, otherwise, you might end up running back to the gate. Inside, the place had potential, but the overall vibe felt a little too laid back. Apart from the owner, who did greet us with a smile, the staff didn’t feel welcoming or attentive. That lack of warmth set the tone for the visit. It’s not a place I’d return to unless I hear things have improved significantly. With the right energy and better hospitality, this place could truly shine, but as of now, it fell short of expectations. Let's not talk about food & parking 😐

A beautiful creative oasis! I loved Carpe Diem , both the gallery and the café. The artwork is inspiring, the ambience is lush and calm, and the café serves generous portions (the English breakfast and waffles are a must!). They even have hand-painted tiles on every table, and finally… GOOD hot coffee in Goa! I also attended a week-long Raku firing ceramic workshop here, and the experience was divine, thoughtfully planned, executed with care, and worth every penny. The owner, Daegal, along with Soniya and Nicole, made the entire week warm, professional, and memorable. If you're creatively inclined, this place will fuel your inspiration. Must-visit for the café, and if you have time, sign up for a workshop . Its truly a gift to yourself.

This place is a combination of art gallery, cafe and art workshop and sale of art items. I would highly recommend to visit this place to experience the authentic Goan culture. Please make sure to maintain calmness as this place is as good as a museum. We totally loved the food which is freshly cooked upon placing the order. Good place to spend a time to have food, read books, work in quiet. Its managed by a family and they are so kind.
Raghav G — Google review
We visited Carpe Diem mainly because someone in our group is an artist, and we wanted an art-gallery-plus-café kind of place for her. After some research, we found this spot in South Goa, and it turned out to be a surprisingly good experience. We originally planned for the evening but the café closes early, so we went the next morning for a short brunch. This is not a place you go to when you’re hungry. Food is secondary. It’s all about the experience. There are three to four rooms filled with artwork, and the last room has a small café and even a workshop area. Very calm, very unique. The best part is the crowd. This is exactly the place where you meet like-minded people…those who care about art, nuance, new experiences, and the slower side of life. Anyone who chooses to visit a spot like this in Goa is already a certain type, and if you resonate with that, you’ll find your kind of people here. Food is standard. Staff is professional, warm, and genuinely involved in the art side of the place. Pricing feels fair …this isn’t the kind of café where you debate cost. For me, beyond the art, the architecture of the house was the highlight. There’s even a small swimming pool inside the house, and it gives a hint of the Goan lifestyle..relaxed, leisure-focused, aesthetic. Loved the whole experience.

The food here is amazing. We ordered sandwiches and burgers that tasted splendid. This place offers really good food for reasonable prices. For drinks we ordered a few shakes and cold coffees, they were really great too. The ambience was really good, a nice pleasant place to hang out and also admire the artifacts when u enter the place. The only downside was that the service was kind of slow, but I don't blame them since the order was kind of large and they seemed to make everything fresh. So I didn't mind waiting longer for such good food

Nestled along the serene banks of the River Sal, Starlight in Assolna is a must-visit for seafood lovers exploring Goa. This charming open-air restaurant offers stunning views of the pristine bay, making it an ideal spot for a romantic evening or a casual meal with friends. Guests rave about their delectable crab masala, calamari rava fry, and fish cutlets—perfectly paired with a chilled Kings Beer or a glass of wine.
This is truly a hidden gem in the south of Goa. We explored a lot of places in the south this trip and found place had the most affordable crab experience. And with the view, every moment here was worth it. The food was tasty and fresh. Plus the service was excellent too. This is a must visit when you’re in the south

Starlight in Goa is well known place for seafood. One in North Goa is on tourist map for everyone with plans to explore seafood in Goa. This was my first visit to South Goa outlet and it has now become my favorite. Excellent location and beautiful view overlooking the river, Starlight is a must go place. Very spacious and known for its quick service, this place won’t disappoint you. My favourite is Prawns Rava and Chanak Fry. As such you can order almost about anything from their seafood section and you won’t be disappointed. Let it all with beer 🍺 and beautiful view overlooking the river. Enjoy the vibes.

The food quantity is gone down since last we visited here (6 months) ago Chonak thali and Rava fry masala Prawns were tasteless and not that usual taste that we have had since past 6 years . It was a disappointment this time year. Uraak was not like it was last year.. Definitely something has changed .. either it's the management or the chef .. I am sure recipe is same but if the management and / or Chef has changed then this gonna be a disaster Chonak tasted like it was made in the morning and served for lunch Same for Rava Fried Prwans (Prawns were fresh however Batter was like "Made in the morning ... served all day" Been visiting here since 2018 but not anymore ... won't recommend again

Boom Shankar Resort offers a diverse menu featuring local, Chinese, Thai, and European cuisine. It's an ideal spot to savor a cocktail while watching the sunset during happy hour. The resort is closed during the monsoon season. Guests appreciate the clean environment and sea-facing seating with basic yet charming old furniture. The staff is described as warm and humble, serving outstanding food and wonderfully tasting cocktails from a vast menu.
I've been visiting this place on every South Goa trip since 2022 after a kind sire on Quora highlighted its banger cocktail - the Shiva Shaker. If you're in Colomb/Palolem, you can't miss it. Incredible view of sunset. Come at evening 5:30 if you want to see it. Carry some spray-on mosquito repellent with you. Skip the food. Would just recommend the drinks. Aman, the guy from Rishikesh who oversees it, is a fun chatty fellow who manages to make my drink stronger each time. Just one and I'm sorted. Thanks buddy, may Shiva bless you always! 😁

The worst food I've eaten in India. I ordered the fish with garlic sauce and the fish was completely submerged in the garlic sauce, which was completely overwhelming. My friend ordered a beef fillet steak with mushroom sauce, which again was completely submerged in the sauce to the point that you could hardly see the steak. Not only that, but the steak was really chewy and tough. The staff are not that attentive and we had to seek them out to get a drink. There is a nice view of the sunset, but I could never recommend eating here.

Worst ever experience in a restaurant. Everything that was ordered was at the unacceptable level . We ordered Roti specifically after asking if it was a whole wheat roti or a refined flour but what we got was disappointing , the drinks , the pasta A La Mexicana , the mixed vegetable and the most horrifying was Pina Colada. They were kind enough though to add steamed vegetable which they missed to cauliflower dish. THE pineapple juice was the highlight of the evening

Quiet resort with a pleasant seaview terrace. It's more basic than most resorts in Patnem and Palolem, but beers and food prices are similar, so the only reason to come here is for solitude. Oh, and they do nice squid balls with Wasabi and soy sauce

Spent 2 weeks in Boom Shankar, we loved it. Perfect place to be, near Patnem beach but also a bit isolated, very calm at night. The rooms are a bit small but all the basic necessities are there. The staff is very very kind and helpful. The food is good and the sunsets are incredible !

Always friendly staff with good food. A great place to watch the sun go down, especially with a Shiva shaker..

We went in there blindly as it was anyway late, 2:45 pm and we had to eat. We had no clue of this place and it was a sweet surprise to us. The place is kept clean with extremely basic and old furniture. The seating is sea facing. But, what strikes you is the warmth of people who look low key, but so sweet and humble. Each item that we ate both times was more than good, in fact many outstanding. They made wonderfully tasting cocktails and you get a huge menu for it. Make it a point to go if you are here. Price is very moderate.

The Red Ginger is a vibrant restaurant offering a mix of Malaysian, Thai, and Japanese cuisine in an elegant setting with a bar. Located in Colva, Goa, this establishment boasts a welcoming ambiance and takes pride in its diverse menu featuring delectable sushi, ramen, and various Japanese specialties. Whether you choose to dine indoors or outdoors, The Red Ginger promises a memorable culinary experience.
If you are looking for amazing sushi place or pan Asian cuisine, this is the place to be. It’s located very close to colva beach and has a large seating area. The menu has a great variety. We ordered sushi and Thai curry rice and both were amazing. The ambience and service were top notch too. All in all an amazing dining experience.

Good Food, Great Service, But Missing the “Wow” Recently visited The Red Ginger as I was craving sushi. The staff was welcoming, and our star of the day was Figo, who served us with passion, respect, and a genuine smile, truly made us feel comfortable. We ordered a variety of sushi and a few other dishes. The food was good, but not amazing. When you visit a fine dine restaurant like this, you naturally carry certain expectations, and unfortunately, this time we left without that “wow” factor or a big smile. Still, kudos to the service team, especially Figo, for making the experience pleasant.

The Red Ginger is on our South Goa repeat list. The Asian food here is top-notch and the service is extra ordinary. Our servers were Sudipto and Rajesh- their exceptional service bought a huge smile on our face. Would highly recommend trying the Dragon roll and Ebi tempura sushi. Would also suggest the Chicken Ramen bowl and burnt garlic fried rice. Portion sizes are huge and the ambience is peaceful. Street parking is available. If you’re in South Goa/ around Colva- don’t miss The Red Ginger

September 2025: An Unforgettable Culinary Experience. Red Ginger has truly turned things around — and how! What impressed us the most was how seriously the team took past feedback. It’s rare to see a restaurant not only acknowledge constructive criticism but also use it as fuel to deliver excellence. This time, they absolutely nailed it. We placed a large takeaway order, and let me just say — not a single restaurant, near or far, could come close to what we experienced. Every dish was packed with flavor, freshness, and finesse. We ordered: Dragon Maki Dynamite Maki Philadelphia Roll Red Ginger Sesame Prawns Honey Chili Chicken Wonton Chicken Soup Stir-Fry Tenderloin in Black Pepper Sauce Crispy Calamari with Wasabi Jasmine Rice with Edamame Beans & Prawns Singapore Rice Noodles with Chicken Each dish was a standout, but special shoutout to the sushi rolls — they were world-class. The sesame prawns and tenderloin were bursting with flavor, and the soup was deeply comforting. To top it off, we were pleasantly surprised with two complimentary desserts — the Matcha Cheesecake and the Great Wall of Chocolate Cake. Both were absolutely divine and the perfect end to an outstanding meal. Thank you, Red Ginger, for the thoughtful gesture! The ambience of the restaurant is elegant and modern, with just the right mix of warmth and sophistication — perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. There’s ample parking available on either sides of the road outside the restaurant, which makes the whole experience hassle-free, especially in a busy area like the Colva beach road. As for pricing, it’s very fair considering the premium quality, generous portions, and overall service — absolutely value for money. Manager Jovian deserves a special mention, he genuinely takes feedback to heart and goes out of his way to ensure every customer has a top-tier experience. And hats off to Chef Ujjal, the man has magic in his hands. You can taste the passion and precision in every bite. I'm more than happy to change my rating from a 3 back to a solid 5 and honestly, i wish I could give them a 10. Red Ginger isn't just back on my list, it’s at the top and a destination in itself. ---------------------------------X------------------------- August 2025: this has been our go-to restaurant ever since we moved to Goa four plus years ago... being one of the best in town, we were sure to dine-in or takeaway at least once in a month, if not every other week. It disheartens me to lower my earlier rating after experiencing inconsistency in the Quality of food over the past 6 months to a year, despite clear attempts made to both appreciate as well as raise concerns on the fluctuating food quality. I cannot comprehend what might have gone wrong behind the scenes, for a renowned restaurant to deteriorate so quickly. Red Ginger once served the most delectable Asian cuisine in all of Goa. I presume that the decline in food quality could probably attribute to the lack of supervision or rotational duties of chefs or change of key business stakeholders. We found quite a few dishes to be subpar... either chewy, dry or inconsistent. I can confidently say that I have tasted better Chinese at street joints. Team Red Ginger...I request you to please deep dive into this matter and take necessary corrective actions. You are certainly up for some tough competition given the opening of some recently established restaurants in and around the colva benaulim area. ---------------------------------X------------------------- A scrumptious celebration of East Asian cuisine. Every dish we ordered was well crafted and delicious... I must say a party for the palate. The overall experience here (i.e. the ambience, hygiene, service, quality and taste of food) was definitely worth every penny spent. Here's another restaurant putting COLVA on the map. As they say life is too short for boring food... spice it up with some RED GINGER!!!

A Memorable Pan-Asian Dining Experience in the Heart of Goa Goa is known for its vibrant food culture, but every once in a while, you come across a restaurant that stands out not just for its ambiance or location, but for the sheer brilliance of its culinary execution. This Pan-Asian restaurant in Goa is one such gem—a place where flavour’s from across the East come together in perfect harmony, creating a dining experience that feels both comforting and adventurous. Rajesh and Anil’s service is also very commendable.

Also thanks to Rajas and Sudipta who made our visit very comfortable and enjoyable with their brilliant hosting skills :)
Shikha S — Google review
We recently visited The Red Ginger for dinner and were quite impressed by the overall experience. The restaurant offers an extensive range of pan asian cuisine, with a special focus on sushi and seafood delicacies. The ambience is tastefully designed elegant, dimly lit, and adorned with soothing interiors that create a relaxed and refined atmosphere. However, the cooling system could benefit from some improvement to enhance comfort. We savored a delightful assortment of dishes including the Dragon Sushi Roll, Philadelphia Roll, Dynamite Maki, Tempura Calamari, Chicken Gyoza and Battered Fried Prawns. The sushi platters were thoughtfully accompanied by wasabi and galangal, while the prawns and calamari were paired with a creamy mayonnaise dip. Each dish was flavorful, but the calamari and sushi truly stood out, offering a memorable treat for the palate. Though the service was somewhat slow, the staff were courteous and friendly throughout our visit. In particular, our waiter Figo was attentive and helpful, ensuring our needs were met with genuine care. Do note that the prices lean toward the higher end, and parking space within the premises is limited, although there is additional outdoor seating available. In summary, The Red Ginger is a fine choice for those in Goa seeking quality sushi and continental fare in a sophisticated setting. Definitely worth a visit for culinary enthusiasts.

Whether you're stopping by for a leisurely brunch or grabbing some treats to go, this quaint spot has something for everyone. From their signature sourdough loaves to indulgent chocolate almond cake, every item is crafted with care by the master baker.
We visited this cafe twice during our stay because the food was genuinely excellent and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We tried the roast beef sandwich, banana pancake, cherry pancake, ham cheese sandwich and eggs Benedict – each dish was delicious and well-prepared. The flavors were spot-on, and everything was served fresh. The only slight letdown was the watermelon juice, which tasted a bit diluted and more like water than juice. However, aside from that, everything else was fantastic. Highly recommended for both the food and the overall vibe!

Stopped here for breakfast/brunch twice on our trip to Goa because we really enjoyed the food. We've ordered various types of eggs, pancakes, french toast and sandwiches. Enjoyed everything that we ordered here as well as the coffees. It takes a bit for food to come if there's a rush, but that doesn't affect the quality of the food here. We had Keegan as a server and he did a fantastic job. Would love to come again on our next visit to Goa.

Mon Petit has become a staple when I'm in Colva. From a humble cafe with a few tables it's now always buzzing with visitors. Mom Petit Frere is a decent breakfast spot in Goa, ideal if you’re looking for a good start to your day. The ambience is average — nothing too fancy, but comfortable enough to enjoy a relaxed meal. Service is friendly and prompt, which makes the experience pleasant. I tried a variety of dishes: Turkish Egg, Spanish Egg, Eggs Benedict, Honey Glazed French Toast, Piri Piri Chicken Sandwich, Affogato, Café Mocha, and Vietnamese Coffee. Out of these, my personal favourites were the perfectly done Eggs Benedict, the flavour-packed Piri Piri Chicken Sandwich, the indulgent Honey Glazed French Toast, and the rich, satisfying Café Mocha. Overall, a nice place to explore different breakfast options with good service — worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Visited this café for breakfast on the recommendation of a close friend, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. We were greeted and served by Keegan, who was warm and efficient. The café itself has a quiet yet lively vibe—a nice spot for a relaxed morning. Here’s what we tried: • Eggs Benedict – Excellent. Perfectly poached and an amazing Hollandaise sauce • Turkish Eggs – Nice. • Chicken Peri Peri Sandwich – Could be better. Lacked the punch we expected. • Coffee – Tasted good, but the cup was a bit too small for the price. While we enjoyed our time and the food was generally good, the cost-to-value ratio felt a bit high. Would I return? Possibly—especially for the eggs and the calm atmosphere.

Seafood restaurant
The Red Crab Seafood Restaurant offers a stunning oceanic atmosphere with a panoramic view. The establishment is well-maintained and hygienic, providing above-average non-vegetarian dishes. Although the vegetarian options lack distinction, the ginger orange and pineapple juice is wonderfully refreshing. The chicken cafreal showcases exceptional flavor, while the Veg Manchurian disappoints with its overly moist texture. Service at the restaurant is notably sluggish, leading to cancellations of subsequent orders due to excessive preparation time.
The food was delicious, diverse, and reasonably priced, which we appreciate. We were impressed by the variety of options on the menu, catering to all tastes and preferences. The quality was consistently excellent. The restaurant offers an incredible view of the ocean and bay, making every meal even more memorable. We even saw dolphins jumping out of the water! Every meal felt fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always made us feel welcome. Goan restaurant
House No.2 is a charming restaurant located in a 100-year-old Indo-Portuguese Goan house in the beautiful village of Lotoulim. The warm and welcoming ambiance of this ancestral house, along with its balcony tables, creates a homely dining experience. The menu may be limited, but the food is described as amazing, with delicious Goan starters and fish thali being the highlights. Guests can also enjoy live events such as karaoke and artist performances in the evenings.
I visited Gia: Drink, Dine, Dance during my trip to Goa, and it turned out to be such a memorable experience. Our car broke down nearby, and Abraham—the owner—personally helped us out. His warmth and kindness left a lasting impression. Set in a charming old Portuguese house, Gia has a beautiful rustic vibe that’s both inviting and unique. The food was excellent, the ambience was just right, and I got to try sparkling urrak for the first time—it was refreshing and absolutely worth it! If you’re in Goa, make sure to visit Gia: Drink, Dine, Dance. Come for the vibe, stay for the food, and leave with a story.

The place is rustic and tucked away from any hustle bustle. Quiet and calm. The food quality was excellent. We started with Shandy to cool down followed by Lepo Fry. The main course was Sardine Ambottik with Rice. The taste was nice. Good service. The owner Abraham Fernandis was very friendly and was suggesting authentic Goan cuisine as per our taste. Overall a very good experience

Delicious food available at House no. 2!!! Lovely ambience in an old Portuguese house. The following are some of the food I've tried and my thoughts on them: 1. Special fish Thali - great taste and options available in the Thali. 2. Cajun spiced prawns- spicy and super tasty marinated prawns. 3. Pork ribs- delicious! 4. Stuffed prawns- yummy yummy yummy. Must try! 5. Beef steak- very well cooked and nice flavour 6. Garlic and pepper Tongue - good taste.

Had a lovely Goan meal today at lunch time .. the Lepo Goan style curry was delicious, it went well with the squid masala fry. All this tasty food was put to a side once the walnut brownie arrived.. no words to describe it… all I can say is must visit this place in south Goa

A restaurant experience truly relaxing in a Portuguese style house facade.Sat back and enjoyed the multiple and distinct items like chill cheese bhakri, stuffed squids, caldo Verde, chicken, sausage rice, etc as recommended by the staff , while sipping on urrack with limca. Would recommend if you like the village experience with homely service. Would visit again.

I visited this place with my family. There was a big hoarding put up on the highway through which we decided to visit this place. Initially, when we went to this restaurant, there was not even a single guest so we were really puzzled as to go to the restaurant or not, but then we decided to give it a try.. The ambience of the restaurant is a very simple yet, very welcoming.. There is a lot of parking space. The Food here tasted delicious was served, fresh and hot .. He tried the following items: 1. Cheese balls-10/10 2. Modso (Lemon fish) -10/10 3. Chicken lollipop -10/10 4. Bangda ambot tikat (Mackerel curry)- 10/10 5. Mushroom xacuti -10/10 Don’t forget to meet the super cute host, Ethan … Highly recommended 😀

Had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The drinks were absolutely awesome, refreshing and well-prepared. The service was smooth and attentive, and the host was really jolly and kind, which made us feel very welcome. Their cafreal platter was the highlight – perfectly cooked, flavorful, and definitely worth trying. Highly recommend this place for both food and vibes! 🌟

Absolute disaster of a restaurant. We were the only customers, yet it took 1 hour 45 minutes to get food. What arrived was inedible ,rice that smelled badly, a pathetic fish platter(cooked and dumped on plate), and overall disgusting quality. On top of that, the owner was arrogant and rude. This is hands down the worst restaurant in Goa. A total waste of time, money, and appetite avoid this place. ** I usually don't write reviews but cuz of the owners rude behaviour and I had to.

Kopi Desa Agonda is a trendy spot located along the beach road, featuring a stylish bar and an interior design that allows natural light to illuminate the space. The establishment is known for its woodfire oven, which produces delectable sourdough pizzas. It's a popular nightlife destination offering locally crafted beers from Goa's breweries. Despite its name, which translates to 'Coffee Village' in Indonesian, Kopi Desa specializes in Euro-centric cuisine and hosts live music events.
Wow wow wow! This has to be one of the best places we have ever eaten (and believe me we’ve eaten at lots of places!) the food is genuinely worthy of a Michelin star. Everyone working is spot on! And the vibe and atmosphere is so warm and unique. This is the 4th time we’ve stopped by here since we arrived in Goa 4 days ago and we are in love ! Please come here if you visit agonda or anywhere in Goa, you won’t be disappointed!

We were still feeling full after our lavish lunch and wanted a light dinner. The look of Kopi Desa appealed and we entered. Loved the lively vibe. We chose tomato basil soup with toasted focaccia and trio of hummus which comes under small plate category. Both the items were delicious with good portions. A Spanish lady who seemed to be the manager made our experience more pleasant with her friendly conversation. We are definitely going back for a more elaborate meal.

It was great meeting up with Inma and James after some time. I took the opportunity to introduce my friend Julio to Kopi Desa! He, like me agreed that the food, menu, service and atmosphere were beyond criticism. Inna in particular is a genuinely sincere and welcoming hostess. Wow- where to start!cSome of the best food we’ve had in all of our time in Goa (and India!) This place was recommended to us by a couple that we met and they were so right, We too will now reccomend it to everyone. We had the calamari and chorizo starter and a fillet steak each, absolutely tender and totally delicious. We’re literally going to extend our stay in Goa to try the Sunday dinner! The owner Inma is one of those vibrant characters you can’t help but adore, it’s clear she has the respect of the local community and is so passionate about her restaurant and her staff. Our waiter Manthan was also so friendly and couldn’t have taken better care of us. Do not miss out on the best meal of your trip!

We visited Kopi Desa in Agonda on my birthday, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences ever! The place has such amazing, peaceful vibes — perfect for party and enjoying good food. The food was absolutely top-notch, full of flavor and beautifully presented. We also tried their cocktails, and each one was perfectly crafted and refreshing. The place is super clean, well-maintained, and hygienic, which makes the dining experience even better. A special mention to Inma, the owner, who is truly the heart of Kopi Desa. She’s such a sweet and kind soul — she went above and beyond to make my birthday extra special by surprising me with a cake! 🎂💖 If you’re ever in Agonda, Kopi Desa is a must-visit! It’s not just a restaurant; it’s a vibe filled with warmth, great food, and lovely people. 🌸🌴 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — Highly recommended!

I can't tell you pleased I am to hear that Kopi Desa have reopened. For anyone but particularly British people getting a proper roast dinner and or a full English breakfast is a little slice of heaven, as while many places have them on their menus, nowhere else in Canacona gets the taste just right. Highly recommended if you want something that tastes of home. I would also recommend a reservation if going for Sunday lunch to ensure you don't miss out.

Kopi Desa was amazing! Best cocktail - Blood Mary!!! Just wanted to send a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our visit over the last three nights. What an amazing place! Seriously, the best spot in Agonda. The food was delicious, the cocktails were great, and the service was fantastic. We especially loved the Sunday roast! Highly recommended. It's such a nice place to chill out. A big thanks to Shiva and Ram at the bar, to all the staff - you're all 10/10! If we had one tiny suggestion, it would be to maybe improve the music selection a bit. Thanks again for everything!

After checking out the restaurants in the area on maps, Kopi Desi rates high. Hence, the reason I gave it a crack! I had a Hawaiian pizza 🍕 and a couple of cold beers to wash it down. The pizza was OK, but 8/10 at absolute best. The beers were cold, which is always a bonus and the service was pretty good to. The only issue was I had to go searching for serviettes because there was none delivered with the meal. No big deal. The atmosphere here makes the place 👌 and although that was my first visit from me, I'll probably go back for another attempt. UPDATE - I came back for more tonight and had the fish and chips. The meal was very tasty and I thoroughly recommend coming to this place. And yes the meal was delivered with a proper cotton napkin! I highly recommend putting this place on your list when visiting Agonda! If you found this review helpful, please give me a thumbs 👍 up (it's free!) and please follow me for more reviews ☺️

One of the very famous cafés situated amidst an art gallery and nature. The vibes are quiet, laid back and chill, just like the Goan way. Tried the burgers, grilled cheese sandwich and the hummus here. The red velvet cupcake is a cult favourite. The coffee was good. Would definitely come back for the hummus however if they would increase the quantity, it would please everyone!

The place is an art gallery combined with restaurant. The place is really old, stunning and well maintained by the people running it. It is primarily a old goan dutch/ Portuguese style architecture. Food is gourmet and expensive as per its value. They provide authentic goan cuisine on the menu. Worth it! They also have a lot of open space in the dining area with lot of sunlight and greens around. It's really beautiful and quiet to dine in. Must go visit restaurant in Goa.

Interesting concept of a cafe and an art gallery. There are different rooms with themes, all centred around the main theme of the environment. It’s a good place to sit and work from. The smoking area is outside. The cafe is in the corridor. You need to scan for the menu and place your order online or directly at the counter. They have quite an interesting menu / mostly breakfast items. The coffees are good too. The egg Portions are quite small.

Cafe Bodega, a lovely little spot in Panaji, is tucked away inside the Sunaparanta Centre for the Arts. It has a lovely courtyard that is perfect for relaxing mornings or long afternoons. For breakfast, I had their Eggs Benedict, which was beautifully made. The soft poached eggs, silky hollandaise and the perfect balance of flavours made it a lovely start to my day. Later, I shared a light and crispy wood-fired pizza with fresh ingredients. Paired with their refreshing cold brew coffee, it was a truly satisfying meal. The warm and friendly staff made the experience even better. The open courtyard, surrounded by greenery and art, creates a perfect atmosphere for reading, working or just relaxing with friends. Cafe Bodega is not just about the food; it is about the soulful, relaxed and comforting atmosphere. I will definitely be back.

I travel to Goa often and hence I have tried food across all the major spots and eateries: The food was great here! Absolutely good. I also liked the way the order was curated and explained to us, before finalizing. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Goan cuisine in the Candolim/Calangute areas. I ordered multiple sea food dishes, chicken/meat and beverages. Dropadi Bar And Restaurant is a beachfront establishment in Palolem that caters to vegan requirements and offers a variety of dishes, including the Jaipuri curry with poppadoms and plain roti. It's an ideal spot for enjoying dinner with a stunning sunset view while sipping on cocktails or fine wine. The restaurant also serves seafood platters featuring freshly caught produce from Goan waters and local Indian dishes.
One of the best restaurant on Palolam beach. Every dish is tasty. Superb service and good staff. Wonderful experience for three days. Just one small drawback is no early morning breakfast.
Tushar K — Google review
Dropadi Bar and Restaurant is just next to the beach and has unsailable advantage over other restaurants in terms of view that it offers. This advantage could make some entity to get relaxed and overtime loose it's edge, however, it is not true for Dropadi. Though, I do not know why the restaurant is named as Dropadi but the food and service of the restaurant is highly satisfying. This was our second visit of the restaurant and we sticked to our favourites. We ordered for fish fingers, fish tikka and masal peanuts along with Chicken Manchow Soup. As always, fish fingers and fish tikkas were amazing. For the main course we settled for butter chicken and naans and roti. The butter chicken was regular and nothing special. I am told that they serve good sea food though I have not been able to try them. The service is fast and the staff are alert and responsive. Overall, Dropadi is among the best options that you have if you are visiting Palolem beach. It is easily reachable from the parking lot. They have Bar and their menu provides dishes from Indonesian as well as Chinese cuisine. Do share your like if you found the review useful for exercising your choice. It is a big motivation for reviewers like me.

Dropadi is one of just two shacks directly on Palolem Beach, and the location alone makes it worth a visit. You get a great view of the beach while enjoying food and drinks - it’s the kind of place where you can sit back, relax, and just soak in the vibe. The food is decent, with plenty of options to go with a few drinks. Service was pleasant too—contrary to some reviews I read, the staff wasn’t rude at all, they were fine and did their job well. Overall, Dropadi is a good spot if you’re with friends or family and want to spend a laid-back afternoon or evening right on the beach. It’s more about the atmosphere and view than “exceptional” food, but for a beach shack, it does the job perfectly.

Tucked away in the southern charm of Goa, **Palolem Beach is a slice of paradise**—serene waters, golden sands, and sunsets that melt your worries away. Add to that the delicious local cuisine, and you’ve got the perfect coastal escape. From fresh seafood to vibrant Goan flavors, every bite feels like a celebration of the sea and the culture that surrounds it. Whether you're strolling barefoot along the shoreline or savoring a plate of prawn curry with the waves as your soundtrack, Palolem offers a feast for both the senses and the soul.

We'd called to make a reservation, next to the band, when we got there though, it was way too loud and on the side, so we requested a table right in the middle by the bar, which was wonderful. My Aunt visits this place extremely frequently and loves it. The band was absolutely wonderful. I contemplated between the beef steak, the spaghetti bolgnese and a pizza .. Shiva was an absolute saviour. He did recommend the beef .. But I asked him to get a lil ragu to taste. He not only got that, which had me order it. .. But catered to every specification i wanted. .. Which literally made my day. I absolutely enjoyed the spaghetti. I also ordered the Carmel custard which was very good .. i highly recommend they should add more caramel. We'd ordered a Greek salad. French fries, butter garlic prawns, 3 different types of chicken, mussels, rava fried fish, mango pudding, serrdura. Couldn't put any more pictures because we were having such a good time. Highly recommended this place for a fantastic time. The band played all the songs you love about Goa ... Completely retro and nostalgic. A big shout out to SHIVA, who know what Customer Delight is and ensures every lil detail is taken care of. He should be given a raise and train the rest of the staff. Thank you Shiva. I appreciate you the level of service you stand for. 🧿✨❤️

I was disappointed with the service — Mr. Singh, the waiter, responded very arrogantly when I asked for a chilled beer. . . I'm posting this follow-up as I couldn’t respond to your previous reply. Please avoid shifting blame and take responsibility. 1. Your waiter spoke arrogantly, which triggered the issue. 2. Staff prolonged the discussion, escalating the situation further. 3. The owner apologized, citing long working hours as a reason for the rude behavior — which we accepted calmly. 4. We were not asked to leave, so please avoid making false claims. 5. No abusive language was used, and the nearby guests were known to us, so any information spread did not come from us. If needed, I can share photos of our entry and exit, along with a copy of the bill, for full transparency. I sincerely urge you to handle such situations professionally. Having the owner intervene unnecessarily can sometimes escalate tensions further. Please ensure your guests have a pleasant experience moving forward. Warm Regards Darshan

Today I went with family at Mikes Place , I got a very odd vibe . As if we Goans looked weird . May be the use of foreign tourists. We sat down and I ordered a Pinacolada for my mom and the waiter said with alcohol that’s fine !! Then we had to get their attention again and again !! There were big tables of Russians who are bad tippers , and few English . We were completely ignored . We were 3 adults and 2 kids . Bad experience and will not recommend here . Stay away from this place . The cocktail 🍹 was done badly with no ice . My mom left the Pina . My son ordered French fries 🍟 there were horrible!!! Chicken fried rice was good 👍, crispy chicken was Good . Chicken lollipop was good 👍.

Joecons Beach Shack is by far the best shack experience we’ve had in Goa! Beautiful, clean, and aesthetically done — it sits right on the beach, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Located on Taj Beach in South Goa, it benefits from being right next to the Taj hotel — the beach here is spotless and relatively quiet, offering peace and space to truly enjoy the sea. It’s also super family-friendly — kids can safely play in the sand right in front of you. The food was quite decent, with good options for both veg and non-veg. What really surprised us was how clean the bathrooms were — something rare to find in beach shacks! We ended up sitting there for hours, soaking in the calm vibe and watching the sunset before leaving. A must-visit if you want a peaceful, picture-perfect beach experience in Goa!

Good food with reasonable price. They have a wide variety of items in the menu and all those are really good. I tried their hakka beef chilli and stuffed squid with shrimp. Both were really good and worth trying. The ambience is pretty good.

We ordered veg crispy and red snapper in butter garlic sauce. It was a bit on the costlier side but was worth it. The ambience is on point.

A must visit shack. Great location...you need not walk across the sandy beach. There is a paved way to the shack. The food is great and so is the view. Chilled out place.

Went for dinner with my family. Chef Valanka was brilliant and personally catered for 3 of our family members who have different food allergies. All the food was excellent and the most authentic Goan cuisine amongst many of the different beach shacks we have visited along the Benaulim coast. Friston and his colleagues looked after us well with their service. We will definitely return for dinner again before we leave Goa and on all our next visits to Goa. Keep up the good work folks.

Zodiac - All Day Dining Benaulim, a seafood restaurant, deserves recognition for its highly skilled and welcoming staff. Noteworthy individuals such as Mr. Khan, Mr. Gangu, and Mr. Saylendra exemplified exceptional hospitality, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for patrons. The menu featured delectable sizzlers like the Paneer Sizzler and Surf and Turf Sizzler that were expertly prepared with a well-balanced blend of sauce flavors and generous portions.
We had an excellent dining experience at this restaurant! It's a great spot for seafood lovers. We ordered the grilled pomfret, and it was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The staff were courteous and extremely helpful, guiding us through the menu and making thoughtful recommendations. We visited with an infant, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming – our little one seemed to enjoy the place as much as we did. Overall, a wonderful experience with tasty food and fantastic service. Highly recommended!

This was a fantastic restaurant for our business stay in goa. Their breakfast buffet was varied and excellent both in taste and nutrition. We had a choice of everything from idlis (first time I've had them with beetroot and carrots steamed with the batter) to chicken sausages and succulent fish. You can also have fresh puris and dosa delivered to your table. I have to give a special mention to all the healthy drinks available like jeera water and bitter gourd juice, in additional to the usual milkshakes and things.

Beautiful venue. Food was amazing. Highly recommend the Prawn Balchau. Staff and service are amazing too, helped us out with turning lights low and putting big fan on when insects came out when it got dark, they were super helpful and friendly.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price Extremely overpriced for the quality offered. The food was far from fresh — even basic ingredients like onions weren’t cleaned properly and showed signs of fungus. The rice served was of very poor quality, and even something as simple as aloo jeera was shockingly expensive. For the exorbitant prices they charge, you’d expect premium quality and hygiene, but sadly, it was missing on all fronts. You can get far better food, service, and ambiance at many high-end restaurants in Goa for a fraction of the cost. Would not recommend.

Great service from Mr Khan and team, delicious food for breakfast and lunch/ dinner, in particular the cocktails (very good Margheritas!) and the great variety of Indian and international dishes. We particularly liked the butter chicken, butter garlic naan, garlic prawns.. The pasta was also very good when you are ready for a change of cuisine! Also very well accommodating for allergies. Thank you!

Great ambience, relaxed seating and big area for kids to roam about and explore. Good food and friendly staff! Being monsoon, the team was quite forthright in stating that fish won't be fresh. Slightly over priced, loved the blueberry cheese cake!

Beautiful place, lot of greenery around. We had been there for lunch, since we reached there after 3 the regular lunch menu wasnt available. They had a smaller menu which was still ok. We had a mixed sauce pasta and a sandwich..both good. The mojito was also perfect. Since we didn't stay there, we are not sure about the rooms but the place as such is good.. will definitely visit the next time when we are in Goa

The Garden Restaurant is a beloved dining spot at Colva Beach, offering a delightful mix of Indian, Chinese, and Goan cuisine. It's known for its fantastic food and family-friendly atmosphere, providing a relaxing escape from the beach crowds. Visitors can enjoy live performances by the beachfront while savoring local seafood delicacies like Goan fish curry. The restaurant also features a Rajasthani singer who serenades guests with his melodious voice, creating an unforgettable dining experience.
One of the good non veg food restaurants in the Colva beach area. When asked about if the non veg is halal, they said it is, so a good option for people preferring it. The service and the atmosphere was vibrant and beautiful too.

The food here is excellent, both in taste and quality. However, the serving staff needs improvement. They bring the bill immediately after you finish your food, making it feel like you’re being rushed to leave. Restaurants should create a relaxed atmosphere where customers can enjoy their time with friends without feeling hurried
Namrata R — Google review
One of the fancier places to eat and drink in the Colva area, mostly dominated by shacks and roadside stalls. The food was tasty, and the service was good, though it could’ve been a bit faster. It’s slightly expensive, but the good ambience and beach being nearby make up for it. A good spot for families looking for a relaxed and pleasant dining experience. On a side note, it’s part of a hotel,so you can find good accommodation right next door.

The Garden Restaurant – Looks Fancy, Falls Flat Visited recently and left quite underwhelmed. The food presentation was questionable – we were served mushroom galouti on a papdi, and when we politely asked, the response was, “Hum toh aise hi dete aa rahe hain, kisi ne aaj tak kuch bola nahi.” That pretty much summed up the attitude. Cons: ❌ Overpriced for the quality and portion ❌ Uncomfortable seating – the chairs make it hard to sit through a meal ❌ Average taste, doesn’t match the pricing or hype Only worth it if you’re here for the ambience – not the food or comfort.

The family-operated guesthouse, Fatima Bar & Restaurant, offers straightforward accommodations with a spacious dining area and an enclosed outdoor space. The eatery serves delectable sweets that can be ordered for takeout. The dishes are said to be of high quality and reasonably priced, though the focus lies more on the desserts than the rest of the menu. The establishment provides a warm and inviting atmosphere where guests can unwind.
Amazing food and can serve bigger groups. In Agonda, there aren't many restaurants which can serve a 10+ group. This is the one. The taste was good too. We had Indian, English breakfasts and Chinese as well. Enjoyed all the dishes.

Had a great experience at Fatima Bar and Restaurant. The ambience is relaxed, clean, and well-lit — perfect for a casual evening with friends or even a quiet solo meal. It doesn’t try too hard, which is a good thing. Just a comfortable, welcoming place to sit back and unwind. The staff here is genuinely friendly and attentive. They were quick to take the order, checked in without hovering, and made sure everything was up to the mark — a refreshing change from the usual rushed service you find in busy budget joints. I tried their Prawns Rice, which was decent. Good portion size, prawns were fresh and cooked just right. The flavours were mild — not bad, but could use a bit more kick to stand out. Still, given the pricing, it’s solid value for money. What truly impressed me though was their Pina Colada cocktail. Easily the best part of the visit. Smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. I’d go back just for that. Overall, budget-friendly, good vibe, friendly staff, and a killer cocktail menu. Worth checking out if you’re in the area.

We had come to Agonda during the monsoon season and came across Fatima's restaurant. Loved the simple vibes and ambience. Really enjoyed their food and services. We tried chicken cafreal, chicken xacuti and chicken supreme. All well cooked and delicious! Thanks to Sanju, i tried my first cashew feni with mirchi and pepper. Robin's Ark is a popular restaurant located in the Cavelossim area of South Goa, India. It offers a delightful dining experience with Indian and continental cuisines at affordable rates. The spacious bungalow features outdoor seating and a full bar, creating a lovely ambiance for guests to enjoy live music. The menu caters to diverse tastes, with standout dishes like the Spanakopita and Chicken Cafreal receiving high praise from visitors.
Consistently Impressive – A Go-To Spot That Never Disappoints! We’ve visited this restaurant multiple times, and it has never disappointed us—a rare and refreshing consistency in both quality and service. On our recent visit, we started with the Hot Chicken Wings, which were perfectly spiced and full of flavor. The Mongolian Beef was tender and savory—another solid dish. We also ordered the Dynamite Shrimps, and let me just say—they were an absolute banger! Crispy, creamy, and packed with flavor—definitely a must-try. Every time we visit, we make sure to order the Beef Steak, and of course, we did this time as well. We went for a medium rare, and it was cooked to perfection—juicy, well-balanced, and exactly how we like it. To end the meal on a sweet note, we ordered two desserts: the Coffee Creme Brulee, which was smooth, rich, and had the perfect caramelized top; and the Chocolato e Cannolli, which was equally top-notch—crispy shells with a creamy, indulgent filling. Highly recommend this place for anyone who appreciates consistent quality, delicious food, and a satisfying dining experience every single time.

Robin's Ark in Cavellossim offers a pleasant open-air dining experience, enhanced by fairy lights and a relaxed roadside setting. The service is excellent, with helpful recommendations from the staff. Standout drinks like the Urrak Limca and Urrak Kokum add a local touch. Appetizers such as the Nachos Mexicali, Malbari Chicken, and Bang Bang Chicken were all well-executed. The Eggplant Parmigiana was a highlight among the mains, while the Chicken Patiala with Roti was more average. Overall, it’s a moderately expensive spot with great vibes and solid food.

We recently dined at Robins Ark, and it was an amazing experience! We ordered the chicken quesadilla, hanging chicken cafreal, butter garlic prawns, five cheese white sauce chicken pasta, and the serradura dessert. Every dish was great—delicious with nice flavors that really stood out. For drinks, we enjoyed a virgin colada and a Corona, which complemented our meal perfectly. The ambience of the restaurant was very good, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service throughout our visit. Robin’s Ark – A Memorable Dining Experience Near Mobor Beach We had dinner here and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. The food was delicious with every dish cooked to perfection, and the cocktails were crafted beautifully. We had beer also, and everything paired wonderfully with the meal. The highlight of the evening was the live music, which brought such a lively and cheerful vibe to the place, making the entire experience feel special. The crowd was warm and family-friendly, with everyone clearly enjoying the music, food, and atmosphere. Prices were surprisingly reasonable compared to many other places in Goa. A must-visit spot near Mobor Beach for great food, drinks, and an evening to remember.

Robins Ark Review: Needs work on value and maintenance. I'm settling on 3 out of 5 stars for my visit to Robins Ark. It was an okay experience overall, but there are two significant issues that need attention. First, the positive: the ambience is genuinely good! It's a nice place to sit and the atmosphere is comfortable. However, the main drawbacks were the value for money and a major hygiene issue. The food tasted fine, but the portions were quite small for the price. It felt a little expensive for what we actually received. More importantly, the washroom hygiene was very poor—it really stank. That's a huge turn-off and something the management needs to address immediately. If they can sort out the portion sizes to match the prices and get the restrooms clean, this place could easily be a 4 or 5-star spot.

Tucked in a by-lane of Cavelossim, this quaint little restaurant hits all the right notes while it's food is concerned. We ate beef roulade, bhangda rechado, pork roast in red masala and beef roast. Good food and, best of all, this place is not playing ridiculously loud music. A very pleasant setting a bit away from the other restaurants which also bring peace and ability to talk to your company. Reading up on other reviews it is not the fastest place to get food on your plate.... bring lot of time. The owner says it is because it takes time to cook... fair, but seeing two coulpes leave tired of waiting for ordering... it is not the full story.

The stay was good. The worst part was the food its very much overpriced and the quantity is very very less. Chilly c cost around 480 and have only a quarter portion of it. The price for the food is too high and not worth it. The MRP for a water bottle is just 18rs and they charge it 30 this is the way they are scamming the tourist. Not at all good option for 1st time visitors.

The place has a great vibe. If you like to have good food by the beach, this is the one you should visit. The food tastes awesome and their Chilly Garlic Squids are amazing, rather a signature dish. Couple of points. The tables are too close to one another and that can be understood as one generally has to wait for a table here. The other thing is the food could be a little less greasy. Only good thing about the place is that it’s by the beach, and you can get a nice view while eating your food. But the problem is that the food tastes below average which happened to be a big disappointment. To top it off, they don’t serve you hookah at certain tables because they don’t want it to be seen on cctv which is bullshit if you ask me.

Great food and service - particularly the choice of fish is fantastic. Also great chicken biryani. Loved the ice coffee & fresh lime soda.

Joet's Bar & Restaurant is a casual dining spot located on Bogmalo Beach, offering a blend of Goan, North Indian, and Chinese cuisine. The restaurant boasts stunning sea views and a relaxed atmosphere, making it an ideal place to savor delicious seafood dishes like prawn balchao and grilled fish. In addition to the vibrant bar scene serving refreshing cocktails and local brews, Joet's also provides live music for guests to enjoy while indulging in their meals.
Have been going to Joet’s over the years.. before as a tourist & now a resident of Goa. I keep visiting with various group of friends on various occasions . The repeated trips are mainly for the ambience, music, the view , the very tentative and nice guys who wait the table and ofcourse the wonderful family who runs Joet’s . They warmth makes you feel at home. I somehow never wrote a review, but this time i went with my parents & three of us had so much fun, though it’s was pouring at night: But Joet’s can make any time special. Only request if the food taste can be bit more enhanced. Rest it’s just great as ever.

This beachside shack is beautifully located, offering a serene and calming atmosphere with breezy winds and tranquil afternoons. While vegetarians may find the food options quite limited, non-vegetarians have a wide variety to choose from. For those seeking peace and quiet, afternoons are the best time to visit. We enjoyed a lovely monsoon experience here, sipping on beer and relishing garlic bread while soaking in the view.

An amazing place with great food and vibe. Better to call and reserve if you want a table with view. Staff is very courteous Sea food is super fresh and amazing. Most of the days they have a live band as well.

Located on Bogmalo Beach Joet's Restaurant has a great ambience overlooking the ocean. It is the last shack on the beach. The food was good & ambience too. We had Butter garlic prawns, Prawn Recheado, Batter fried Calamari, rice & Prawn curry.

I absolutely loved the serenity the place had to offer. It is single-handedly the best spot on Bogmallo Beach if you're looking for a cozy atmosphere. The limited seating offers a genuine sense of calm, and the live musicians are the perfect cherry on top with their passionate artistic expression. The place upholds its class and standards by ensuring excellent cleanliness and through the neat outfits the servers wear. Had a really special moment here and would definitely recommend it for dates and fun hangouts.

Worst "I ordered the beef steak and honestly, I wish I hadn’t. The meat was chewy, undercooked, and felt more like a punishment than a meal. The sauce? Absolutely terrible — tasted like someone emptied a mystery bottle into a pan and called it ‘gourmet’. I expected flavor, got frustration instead. For the price, this was a complete letdown. Definitely not coming back — and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who respects their taste buds."

Ciarans Cabin is a beachfront eco-resort in South Goa, offering simple rooms and grass-roofed huts. The resort provides dining options, a spa for relaxation, and complimentary breakfast for guests. Nestled on the glistening white sands of Palolem Beach, the tranquil surroundings are complemented by swaying coconut trees. The ambiance of this beach shack changes with the seasons, providing visitors with new surprises during each visit.
Good food, even better staff. This is a lovely place to relax and take in the view whilst sipping on some delicious cocktails. The ambience is chill and quite breezy. The washrooms are clean and well maintained. A good place to spend the entire day in Palolem. Beach activities like kayaking are available through vendors just outside the shack. Prices are about 250-300 per person for an hour.

We had an amazing experience in this place. The staff is super nice and made everything easy for the whole group. Their kitchen is also outstanding, and the resort is in first line of the beach. Just as a little feedback, the rooms could be renewed.

We came here for the restaurant and enjoyed it very much. The drinks were good and the king prawns and then topping it off with the Goan delicacy of a dessert, it all worked well for us. The ambience is good too. We were here during off season so easily got a place to sit for a group of 15 as well. Recommended.

I recently stayed at Ciarans Resort, and while the location is undeniably beautiful—right next to the beach with easy access to shacks and water sports—the overall experience fell short of expectations. The beachfront is vibrant, and the food at the in-house restaurant is quite good, offering a decent variety of dishes with fresh ingredients. However, beyond the food and location, there’s little to justify the high price. The rooms were not very clean, and essential amenities like toiletries and drinking water were missing. Guests are expected to fetch water themselves from the main restaurant, which is quite inconvenient, especially after a long day. The lack of attention to basic comfort made the stay feel subpar. Moreover, the resort is difficult to locate from the main road due to poor signage, and they do not offer free parking for four-wheelers—another downside for those traveling by car. Perhaps the most disappointing aspect was the staff. They were not very responsive or attentive to guest needs, which added to the overall sense of neglect. For the price being charged, one would expect a much higher standard of service and care. At this point, Ciarans relies heavily on its location, but needs major improvements elsewhere.

Excellent Seafood, Live Music, and a Relaxing Stay! I had an amazing experience during my recent visit! The seafood was absolutely fresh and cooked to perfection — especially the grilled prawns, lobster and crab curry, which were bursting with flavor. The chefs clearly know their craft, and every dish was a delight. The stay was equally impressive. The rooms were clean, well-maintained. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. One of the highlights was the live music played every evening. It added a wonderful, relaxing vibe to the atmosphere and made the dinners even more enjoyable. It was the perfect mix of comfort, great food, and coastal charm. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind by the sea!

We were recommended to stay at this hotel by a friend. We booked to visit late January, early February after touring India. We are so glad we did; what a truly beautiful place right on Palolem Beach in Southern Goa. We stayed in one of the air conditioned front facing beach huts with a verandah on which to relax. Simple accommodation with absolutely stunning views of the beach. We enjoyed seeing the sunsets every evening whilst sipping on a cocktail. The staff are super friendly and the service is great. The food is lovely and fresh and the dishes are so flavoursome. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful and they have a massage service on site. A reasonably priced hotel in a stunning location. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend it.

Very good Restaurant! As soon as I found this place had to go there to eat almost every day. Food is incredible and for a good price also! All the waiters are really friendly and make a very good job in caring for your demands! I enjoyed my waiter Rati Ram a lot, really a friendly guy who did his job great! (The other waiters were also very good I have to say!) Thank you for the good food, good price and good service! Will come back 100% when I should come to Goa again!

Nicely maintained beach cottages. Spacious and clean. They have a restaurant in the same name and food was really good. Very friendly staff and they made the stay even better. All in all, a good place for a relaxing vacation.
