Tapas bar
Central Bar is a popular spot located in the Mercado Central, Valencia's bustling market. It's the brainchild of Ricard Camarena, a celebrated local chef with a Michelin star. The bar offers delicious tapas and sandwiches made with local produce, making it an ideal place for a quick and tasty breakfast.
An amazing culinary experience in the heart of the Central Market, well worth the wait and a must try if you are passing through. Portions are quite large; server was also very helpful in helping us choose suitable dishes to try. The only issue was the heat inside the market; while the food is delicious, it was a bit unbearable to sit for long in the heat.
Jason L — Google review
My 5 stars are reserved for places, products or service that exceed my expectations and this locale met this criteria. For me the highlights were incredible service, quality ingredients and wonderful preparation and presentation. I have seen this tapas bar many times during my visits to the market but always thought “I’m not going to stand around and wait to fight for seats together”. However, I was wrong. There is a great system of seating. There is a person, I guess maître’d, who is controlling the seating, the servers and the kitchen… oh.. and serving also! I didn’t catch her name but an incredible person to watch while enjoying their offerings. She maintained a list of the groups of people waiting to be seated and when space became available, she had one of her servers seat the group at the bar and while we had to like up, the line moved quickly. The only thing you have to watch is that there are folk who hover around trying to jump the queue, so to speak, and when our seats freed up, we had to push lurkers out of them as they slipped in under the radar of the staff. The rhythm of the meal was more or less well. There was a slight delay on some of the bocadillos and we had to ask but the maitre’d made the kitchen jump. Being in the Central Market, I assumed the ingredients were sourced there from local suppliers and producers. This meant for very fresh tasting meals both in flavour and texture. It was a little pricey for a bar. However, after our wonderful experience and realising we weren’t at just any regular bar, I understood. I now have this on my list to return on my next trip to the market and may just venture back there directly for another incredible dining experience.
Bruce P — Google review
Saw that this restaurant in the market was by a famous chef, it was even featured in a few travel vlogs, hence why we decided to visit. We didn't have to wait for seats as we got there at around 9:20AM. We had the best squid here! Their red shrimp was also very good. Cod fritters and potato omelet were just alright. If ever, there were a couple of things on the menu that we wanted to try that was just unavailable. Reasons being the supplies haven't been delivered by the farmer etc etc. I guess I can understand that, I just wish it didn't happen to 2 to 3 of the things we wanted to try. They said maybe some things will be available on a different day or in the afternoon. Good place to visit, just set your expectations accordingly. I would have to say that the staff were so nice and they served everything quickly and efficiently : )
Maezel C — Google review
This bar/counter is located within the central market and always seems busy with a lineup of patrons waiting to get a seat. We were lucky when we showed up before our train trip down to Alicante that the line was very short. We got a seat within 10 mins after arriving. The menu had a tremendous amount of options to choose from, but I only had a limited appetite. The standout dishes for me were the cuttlefish with mayo & lime and the crispy pig ears. Space is very limited as there is only counter seating. Service was quick and paced according the items ordered. Highly recommend and will visit again next time I’m in Valencia.
Terence L — Google review
Outstanding. Interesting menu. The eggplant with miso was my favorite. You have to stand in line and sometimes the line can be long and it’s only bar seating. We’ll go for a third time next time I’m in Valencia.
Mari 3 — Google review
Went for breakfast at Central Bar around 9:30 and it was already fully booked with a queue forming quickly. Luckily had some jamón from the market while waiting. Started with two XL oysters, then moved on to chicken croquetas and pig’s ear with curry sauce. The pig’s ear was a bit too salty for my taste but still enjoyable. The staff offered excellent wine pairing suggestions for each dish, which made the experience even better. Also tried two bocadillos: the Canalla with blood sausage and the Ricard Camarena, the bar’s signature sandwich. Both were outstanding and easily the highlights of the meal. Not cheap, but top-quality food, thoughtful pairings, and a lively market atmosphere make it absolutely worth it.
Rienk S — Google review
Absolutely authentic experience! We tried different tapas - super delicious, and everything was served fast. We were lucky to catch free seats, but beware that you may need to wait.
Natalya P — Google review
Central Bar is a tapas bar inside the Central Market of Valencia. It’s a small, walk-in-only spot with bar seating only, and the queuing system is not clear at all — I had to circle the bar to realise there’s an actual spot where you’re supposed to wait. Luckily I got there right at noon and didn’t have to queue, but if you arrive later, expect a wait. Seating is tight, so you’ll be elbow-to-elbow with strangers, which can feel pretty awkward. If you have a bag or belongings, it’s inconvenient since there’s nowhere to put them except on your lap or between you and your plate. Definitely keep an eye on your things — it’s a tourist-heavy area and I wouldn’t trust leaving a bag on the back of a chair. Food-wise, I left underwhelmed. The Local Oyster XL was the best thing I had — fresh, sweet, and briny. The Roast Chicken Croquettes were just okay, nothing memorable. The Rabbit in Garlic Sauce, though, was a complete letdown. The meat was bone-dry, the sauce was gloopy and starchy, and it felt like a dish that should never have left the kitchen. For a place with this much hype, I expected better execution across the board. One saving grace was the wine. I had a glass of Bardos 2024 (Verdejo) which was bright and full of peach and citrus, perfect for summer. The staff also deserve credit — with my almost non-existent Spanish, the waitress was very patient and friendly, which made the experience a bit nicer. Still, between the mediocre food, the heat inside the market (I was sweating through my meal), and the cramped seating, I wouldn’t rush back. Maybe the sandwiches — which everyone around me seemed to be ordering — are their strong point, but for me this visit was a miss.

Tapas bar
Spanish restaurant
Nestled in Valencia's vibrant El Carmen neighborhood, Bar La Pilareta stands as a century-old establishment exuding elegance with its tiled walls and dark-wood paneling. This traditional bar offers an authentic experience, where patrons can witness the staff throwing mussel shells into crates just as they have for decades. The highlight of the visit is indulging in montaditos, toasted bread rolls topped with grated tomato and various other delectable options.
La Pilareta is a charming traditional restaurant in Valencia that beautifully captures the essence of Spanish cuisine through its exceptional tapas offerings. The highlight of the menu is undoubtedly the iconic mussels, which are fresh and flavorful, setting the tone for a delightful dining experience. The grilled cuttlefish is a must-try; it's perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. The battered squid, or calamari, is another standout, crispy on the outside while maintaining a succulent interior. To complement the meal, La Pilareta serves a delicious traditional red vermouth, adding a perfect touch to the vibrant atmosphere. Overall, dining here is not just a meal but an immersive experience in Spanish culinary traditions that should not be missed when visiting Valencia.

Long queue, had to wait for about 1 hour to get my table which was actually promising. I don't mind queuing for great food. It's ok, nothing mind-blowing. I'm sure their produce is fresh. Somehow it was lacking overall punch in the flavors. The sepia was a bit on the chewy side. The mussels were actually plum and juicy just the soup was very peppery. I guess that is their signature taste. I really wanted to like it. Was just not my taste. But for sure it was freshly made and served quickly. The croquettes were creamy and crunchy, golden brown yet lacking flavor. And for sure I couldn't taste the mussels. The olives were great! Overall it's ok. By no means is the food bad. Was it worth waiting for 1 hour? No. Would I eat here for a quick bite? Yes. The waiter was efficient and worked like a machine but I never saw him smile in the 2 hours I've been there .

Easily top 5 meal in Valencia. We ordered the sepionet (grilled cuttlefish fish with parsley garlic oil), Valencia mussels (in a savory and watery broth), patatas bravas (with a dollop of garlic whip) and a glass of vermouth and tinto de Verano. Everything was delicious. I would recommend this same exact meal.

Excellent dishes, quality, portions and tastes. We’re so happy about this experience! And great shoutout to Nacho: an amazing waiter with lots of good energy, good tips and great smile! He made our experience even more memorable ❤️🥘🥰

Best Bar for Tapas in Valencia. Food is very good (try the fried fish!). Very authentic, full of local people. Very nice staff. Must go.
G G — Google review
La Pilareta in Valencia truly stands out as a gem in the culinary landscape. From the moment you step into this charming eatery, you're enveloped by an authentic Mediterranean vibe that promises a memorable dining experience. The fried calamares here are nothing short of spectacular. They strike the perfect balance between crispy and tender, making each bite a delight. Similarly, the Grilled Cuttlefish is a testament to the kitchen's mastery over seafood, grilled to perfection with just the right char and a smoky flavor that complements the natural sweetness of the cuttlefish. Don't miss out on their potatoes; they're a simple dish done exceptionally well - crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful inside. The mussels are another highlight, fresh, succulent, and served with a preparation that enhances their natural briny taste without overpowering it. The atmosphere at La Pilareta matches the quality of the food. It's unpretentious yet inviting, reflecting the vibrant yet relaxed spirit of Valencia. The service is warm and attentive, adding to the overall experience, making you feel like you're dining with friends. If you're planning a revisit, you're in for another treat as the menu, while rooted in traditional Valencian cuisine, always seems to have something new or a seasonal twist that keeps dining here exciting. La Pilareta isn't just a meal; it's an experience that beckons you to come back for more. Highly recommended for anyone looking to savor the essence of Valencian gastronomy.

Big, interesting and lively market in the center of Valencia. Definitely worth to take a few minutes to stroll around and look at the various sales stands.
M H — Google review
I was looking to eat something for a second breakfast and I found that Uno Mercado had some not only traditional bocadillo. So after a question to the owner which bocadillo he recommend, I bought the one with tortilla Espanola and jamon. Also a local beer (even it was 10 o'clock in the morning) I liked this combination and It was a great idea. So I want to recommend this location

Really good market with many local specialities, from olives to cured meats and preparations. You can find great quality fish and meat, sandwiches and snacks, local cheese, wines, and other local food you must try. There are many stands in it, each one with a different category of food.

I mention this because I went to pick up a TOO GOOD between 2:45 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. I tell you what happened to me, after spending a long time wandering around, I called them at 3:10 p.m. to tell them what had happened to me but the person who attended to me ignored me, he had zero empathy. If they only allow 15 minutes to pick up a pack and you are delayed a little for reasons outside of your control and they don't give any margin, there is a good chance that its purpose will only be fundraising, since you pay but you don't take ANYTHING!! I collaborate and you collaborate or collect? Restaurant
La Pepica is a historic restaurant with over 120 years of success, renowned for its delicious seafood and vegetable paellas. Situated on the promenade of Valencia's city beach, it offers stunning sea views from its terrace. The restaurant prides itself on welcoming guests like family and provides menus for groups and children to ensure everyone enjoys the best Mediterranean recipes.
This is the second time we have been to this restaurant, and the food is no doubt Valencian. We arrived a little early for “comida” (The third meal of the day) and we were seated right away. The wait staff, “Alex” was very accommodating and friendly. Very attentive. He answered all our queries and recommended good wine selection based on our orders. He was efficient and the food came at a relaxing pace. We ordered the anchovies with crushed tomatoes, toasted pan with butter and crushed tomatoes, Paella Valencia (presented in a big paella pan and served table side), grilled scallops, steamed dorado served de-boned and so delicately seasoned. (I dove into the fish and got the head) What an amazing dish. The crema mediterranea is the perfect dessert to end the meal. With Albariño, cava and sangria, we had a great toast to good times and friendship. The experience we had here was memorable and we will definitely return again. Muchas gracias Alex!

There’s something special about dining in a restaurant that has stood the test of time for well over a century, and this seaside establishment certainly carries that charm. The setting is beautiful—just steps from the beach, with a timeless atmosphere that makes you appreciate its long history. The meal itself was a mix of highlights and lighter notes. The calamari leaned a touch over-fried, and while the squid ink paella carried good flavor, we found ourselves wishing for a bit more of the seafood that usually makes this dish shine. On the other hand, the steak was excellent—perfectly prepared and enjoyed by both adults and kids alike. Overall, it was a memorable experience to step into a place with so much heritage, enjoy the views, and savor a meal where the setting plays as much a role as the food. A lovely spot to try at least once, especially for its history and location.

I know why La Pepica has been in business since 1898. The seafood paella was absolutely delicious - as you can see we scraped the pan clean! Nice view of the beachfront and chilled atmosphere. Reservations are a must- the place was packed we went on a Monday afternoon not even on a weekend. The service was unfortunately really slow, we waited a good 45-55minutes for our paella but do keep in mind they make it fresh from scratch- so ultimately worth the wait. When ordering, keep in mind they charge the price per person for the paella - don’t be shocked. 17,90€ per person for the seafood one. Enjoy!

Wonderful experice in this historical restaurant. We reserved the terrace which was great. Good vibe, big restaurant with many pictures from the past on the wall. The service was excellent, friendly and we enjoyed the paella along other dishes. For sure a good place to dine to become part of the history of this legendary place. Lunch time is great as we can enjoy the view ofcthe huge beach.

I had the best shrimps in my life at this place! We ordered it two times in a row (i should have eaten more of it). It was also not expensive at all! Great place directly at the beach. We just had no luck with the weather.. the whole week it was raining (march 2025). But anyways, i highly recommend this place if you visit Valencia!
C K — Google review
The food was absolutely delicious. This restaurant has so much history and culture importance that it is a must if you are coming to Valencia. We were lucky to get a spot the day of but it is best to make a reservation. The service is quick and very attentive. A reliable restaurant for the best paella.
Maycie R — Google review
Being a tourist means you sometimes have to embrace the classic spots, the ones everyone talks about. La Pepica is one of those places, and for good reason. We were served by Ramon, a pleasant and attentive chap who made the experience all the more enjoyable. The food was excellent, every dish was spot-on and the location, right by the port, couldn’t be better. What’s not to enjoy? Make sure you book to avoid disappointment.
Gerard J — Google review
The place looks packed and I’m thinking the food must be good. Unfortunately I can’t say I’m impressed. Ordered New York steak, cod, calamari and side salad. New York steak is a bit dry and not a lot of eatable meat, fries came with the steak is not very tasty, probably from a freezer bag. Cod is small portion, side salad is ok but the lettuce is not fresh, I can see the redness on each lettuce. Overall, over priced tourist experience. A glass of sangria is 8 euro, for the last 2 weeks in Spain, it’s 3-4 euro. Won’t be coming here again.

Fusion restaurant
Restaurant
Canalla Bistro by Ricard Camarena is a trendy bistro in Valencia, offering a fusion of Mexican, Japanese, and New York flavors. The interior exudes a late-night bar vibe with its modern decor. The menu features tapas-style classic dishes from around the world, particularly Asia. Ricard Camarena's expertise shines through in the seamless blend of Asian and Italian cuisine, evident in dishes like mozzarella stuffed with cuttlefish and corvina with green curry.
Canalla Bistro is the more relaxed, bistro-style concept from Michelin-starred chef Ricard Camarena. Having dined here many times, I always appreciate their creative approach to food, attentive service, and well-curated wine selection. The quality matches the pricing perfectly, making it a great value for the experience. Service is outstanding, and if you’re planning to go for dinner, I highly recommend reserving in advance—it’s a popular spot for a reason.

Amazing food and incredible service. One of the best meals we’ve had in Valencia. Love how unique the food is. Everything we had was great and it’s a fun place to bring guests who visit us in Valencia. Also, the cocktails are awesome! Will be coming back.

Wonderful meal at Canalla Bistro! The menus is so interesting and they really deliver on flavor! Highlights include the chili shrimp (so good we ordered two), the miso eggplant, tuna tartare, and spring onions. Please

What an amazing meal! Everything in this restaurant was completely awesome. My highlights were the Cebollas Tiernas and the Gambas-Chilli-Crab. The tarteleta de limon as dessert is the best choice, really incredible and way better than the Corte Helado in my opinion!

Every experience with Ricard Camarena is great, but this is a really nice spot for enjoying excellent tapas/fusion dishes. As like Bar X the corvina dish is remarkable. The ensaladilla rusa was excellent with a uniquely Asian umami flair. Service is always perfectly kind and knowledgeable. For the level of quality, prices are totally reasonable.

This surprisingly spacious restaurant offered a delightful atmosphere. We scored a cozy table in the back, perfect for an intimate dinner. The starters were a highlight – elegant and boasting a refined, easygoing taste. While I'm a huge ribs fan, my choice wasn't quite a slam dunk. The boiled-then-fried preparation with a sweet and sour sauce leaned a bit heavy for my preference. (For fellow rib enthusiasts, theirs were battered, not grilled.) However, seeing the delicious-looking beef dishes served at other tables made me wish I'd gone that route! Overall, the service was top-notch, with friendly and welcoming staff.

La Riuà is a family-run tavern located in the heart of Valencia's Old City, offering a traditional and authentic dining experience. The restaurant boasts a charming old-school decor that reflects its rich history, making it a popular spot among locals and visitors alike. With over a dozen varieties of paella to choose from, including the renowned Paella Valenciana, La Riuà has garnered praise for its delectable seafood dishes and regional wines.
I really wanted a traditional experience and as soon as I walked in the door it felt so authentic and home like. The decor on the wall, the warm greetings it was great. The staff were so attentive and more than generous with sangria top ups. There are so many paellas being churned out the kitchen, all of different sizes. I was solo and even though they catered for a Paella for One it was huge. I felt it could have been a bit warmer but that is my only criticism. Great food, the octopus was out of this world and so was the jamon
Bianca B — Google review
Very authentic experience at La Riua! Loved our meal there. Paella Valenciana was very good and portion was generous.. although meat was drier than it should be, but the taste of the rice itself was great! Scampis were also done with an oil garlic sauce that was delicious, and portion was also very generous. I do recommend it for a more authentic experience in Valencia
Dina D — Google review
This place was recommended to us by a tour guide, and we were told that it has one of the best Valencian paellas here. There’s so many reviews here too that indicate it should be a nice place, but we found the paella to be very salty and the service was really slow. Overall we were kind of disappointed with this place.
Ghazal — Google review
This place was recommended by our bike tour guide at Valencia. We were lucky to get a table without reservation as this place seemed really busy lunch time. No English menu, so be ready to use your translation app if you don’t understand Spanish well. We had chicken rice dish (not paella) , it was very good with huge potion size. My partner had sangria and he enjoyed it. People work there seem like good people. Even though I couldn’t communicate with them in Spanish, I didn’t feel ignored or unwelcome. It was good experience I’ll remember long time.

Great and tasty paella with excellent service. not a fancy place but with very friendly staff. Love the place, I”ll go back anytime.

The best paella in the centre of Valencia! You need a reservation, but trust me, it’s worth it! The atmosphere is nice, the waiters are all professionals, the food is great quality! Eat here for a real Valencian experience!
Ferdinand B — Google review
In Valencia, 4.5 stars on Google Maps mean little. Everyone smiles, everything is "great." But La Riuà doesn't play that game. The waiters serve with a quiet warmth, no script. Then comes the paella—a memory being born. The rice, each grain distinct, is stained black with squid ink. The socarrat, that coveted crust, cracks like obsidian. It’s a dish of sea, smoke, and salt made by hands that have done this for decades. It's worth every cent and every minute of the wait. Some people whisper it’s the best in the city. The dessert isn't for Instagram. The Tarta de la Abuela arrives like a simple, homemade story—layers of smooth cream and soft sponge cake. It's a comforting classic that's rich without being too sweet, and it's the perfect way to finish an incredible meal. Reality check: Come hungry and unhurried — or better, reserve ahead. The place fills fast. The atmosphere hums. And the food? Unforgettably good. But maybe that’s the point. The best things in Valencia aren’t always there when you plan for them. They’re there when you least expect them — and exactly where they should be.

Nestled in the heart of Barrio del Carmen, Kuzina is a chic and minimalist eatery that brings the essence of Greek cuisine to life. Helmed by Alkis and Lydia, this vibrant restaurant offers an array of à la carte options alongside fixed-price menus, all crafted with a dedication to authentic flavors. Guests can indulge in traditional dishes like grilled octopus, melitzanosalata (eggplant salad), and lemonatto lamb, each infused with a unique twist.
I had an amazing experience at this Greek restaurant in Valencia! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with charming decor that makes you feel like you’re dining in Greece itself. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. A perfect place for a relaxed meal with friends or family. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This is an interesting restaurant because they offer Greek food with a Spanish twist. The food was good, especially the fave bean hummus and meatball dishes. We ordered a Spanish wine, but they also had Greek wines on the menu and many vermouth options. Service was a little slow, but very friendly. They take online reservations and they were able to accommodate our group of 7.
Gretchen G — Google review
Very good food! For Valencia standard it is not cheap but definitely it is worth it! The Greek cuisine with a Spanish twist works really well here. Great service!
J L — Google review
One of the best meals we had in Valencia and our entire trip to Europe. And like others have mentioned, we didn’t expect one of our favorite meals to be Greek. The tasting menu is a fantastic bargain for what you get. The food is beautifully presented, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Very uniquely presented Greek flavors with a touch of comfort/home. Service matches the food as well. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.
Hoang L — Google review
At 18 euros for a small slab, the moussaka had to be very special and although it was tasty, I don't think it was worth the price. Everything else was on the expensive side - 2.90 for a small bottle of water, 5 euros for a small glass of wine, 2.40 for an espresso bringing the bill for two people to 50.80. We skipped the 8 euro desserts and only had the one coffee.
Tim B — Google review
First time in Kuzina , the tzatziki and pita was a win , the cod was also good but the vegetarian moussaka was horrible , we did not eat it , the waiter asked why we had not eaten it and when we told him that it was not good he told us that he thought the same thing, still they charged us which we did not complain and paid for the full meal . 7.50€ for a plain Greek yogurt is a tad overpriced. In general we found the whole experience overpriced for what it is and do not think I will be back
Aranzazu P — Google review
A real little Greek gem in Valencia! 🌿 We really enjoyed the dishes, with absolutely delicious starters. The pita was so warm and tasty that we ordered it twice! The eggplant, the small meat dishes, and the orzo pasta were all excellent. The service was very quick and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Authentic cuisine, full of flavor. We highly recommend this restaurant and will be happy to come back whenever possible!

A gem in Valencia! Tinto Fino Ultramarino is a truly special place. The atmosphere is warm and retro, with a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. The food and wine were simply perfect — full of flavor and beautifully presented. What really stood out, though, was the owner. A unique character with incredible positive energy — he left a lasting impression on us. We were especially touched when he offered a discount on the mixed platter. Although it was absolutely delicious, we couldn’t finish it as I’m vegetarian. That small gesture said a lot about the heart behind this place. If you find yourself in Valencia, don’t miss the chance to visit. It’s a memorable experience in every way.

Mercat de Colón, a historic market housed in a stunning modernist building dating back to 1916, has been transformed into a vibrant dining and shopping destination. Situated in the Eixample district of Valencia, it offers an array of fresh produce stalls as well as diverse restaurants and bars. Visitors can savor an authentic organic horchata breakfast at Casa Orxata while enjoying the market's architectural splendor.
This is a small market with two stories and parking below with elevator access. It is filled with many places to eat, including options such as horchata and dipping bread, coffee, gelato, sweet pastries, Japanese food, a full bar with a unique eclectic vibe, and on the second floor below ground level, there is a cheese and meat shop that also offers bottles of wine for sale. We went on a Monday around 7:30pm and many places were closed inside. Some of the restaurants are enclosed, and others offer open air seating. There aren't any actual retail shops, it is more of an eatery and small market. Very cute though and worth a walk.
Steph D — Google review
It's more limited compared to the typical mercados in Spain. You can eat, drink, and shop inside, but there are fewer options. Don't expect the crowds or variety you'd find in other mercados. It has a calmer atmosphere. The building is very beautiful.

Not many handcraft sellers, but a beautiful building nonetheless. I would have preferred fewer coffee and food shops (which are everywhere in Valencia) on the ground level and more space for local stallholders instead.

We loved our eating experience at this restaurant! The service was fantastic and the waiters took the time to explain every type of sandwich tapas that they had and what was in it to our Spanish colleague. I would come back here again! I don’t think anybody can truly understand how much a restaurant can feel like heaven on earth before coming here! I discovered this place though friends who visited it already and since then it’s a weekly thing. Not because I just CRAVE the most delicious Tapas in Valencia but everytime I come, the service, the laughters, the people - everything. I didn’t try a tapas I didn’t like yet and I ate EVERYTHING. I have never seen the servers not smiling or being the most genuine beat servers I’ve ever met. For solo travellers: even if you’re alone, you won’t feel alone here. Lovely staff and service but the lasagne I ordered was dreadful - no ragu/tomato sauce... Just minced beef between pasta sheets topped with cheese. Very poor and very disappointed. The other meals we ordered were ok (chicken: good, burger: good/average).

A great place for Lunch, Offering different options of affordable lunch set menus of fusion cuisine. Food tastes great, fresh and served within reasonable time. I recommend the tomatoe, russian salade and crockette from the starters. The only item I didnt like is the brownie which tasted blunt ( as if it lacked cocoa) and too sweet. Staff are welcoming and friendly. The place has seating in and outside and offers a nice atmosphere by the Ruzafa market Definitrly recommend

Excellent food, very considerate and swift service. Terrace seating is nice, but there is not much to see. I had Burrata salad, which was superb, and a chicken which was just to the point of tenderness. The sauce was delicious, albeit I could have used more - I guess it's my fault for not asking, since they are really nice here. The place seems to fill up a little after 21:00, but still very relaxed.

They offer set menus at fixed prices, allowing you to taste a bit of everything, with different deals for both lunch and dinner. The flavors are simply unique, and the chef truly deserves an award for the culinary experience they deliver. As an ice cream lover, I have to give special mention to the **dulce de leche ice cream** served with their brownie – it's out of this world! Restaurante Levante Valencia is a highly-regarded restaurant located near Bioparc, known for serving the best traditional Valencian-style paella in the city. The cozy and simple ambiance makes it an ideal place to indulge in this iconic Spanish dish, prepared with rabbit, chicken, and local beans. With over 10,000 bottles of Spanish wine available, you can find the perfect complement to your meal.
We had the traditional Valencia Paella. Delicious and filled with a variety of ingredients. The flavours are all there and it was a great experience. The service was superb. Waiter was incredibly friendly, taking his time to share suggestions on the wine, the history of paella and even providing a list of the best paella restaurants in town. We arrived mid afternoon, so overstayed our bookings as we were too busy talking and eating. They closed the restaurant around us, the waiter even left (owner and his friends were there)and they gave us no pressure to pay and leave. A fab experience.

Truly a highlight of our visit to the beautiful city of Valencia, we feel fortunate to have had to the opportunity to sample the best of Paella. Thanks to Rafael Vidal and his talented team. Arriving for a Friday lunch, we could see how beloved this place is; some gatherings of generations there for "occasions". A lovely ambience. The traditional Paella Valencienne was outstanding, with wonderful starters. Never have I tasted Squid so good. Everything was beautifully presented and the service was impeccable. Most friendly and professional. Our thanks, Rafael and the Team

Amazing local Valencian cuisine. The food is definitely some of the best I’ve had in Spain and the paella was delicious. We tried the tasting menu and it was more than enough food. Service was excellent and recommendations were on point. I had read many great things before coming and I was not disappointed!

Best paella and best service. I'd also recommend the Auga de Valencia and the cod croquettes. Both were out of this world. Paella takes ~50 min so be patient or call ahead. The restaurant was dead when we arrived at 2pm but don't be fooled - it was packed by 245pm. I guess people eat even later here. Definitely get a reservation if you can
Yuchen L — Google review
The staff was brilliant, they presented their menu, answered all our questions and they speak English which is really useful if Spanish is not your first language. We had a tasting menu which is 31 euro per person and it includes 4 or 5 starters, paella of your choice for main course and a dessert. Starters were amazing and we pretty much got full even before paella arrived. Paella was good, we had Valencian paella with chicken and rabbit and if you want you can get snails for an extra charge. For dessert we got cakes which could have been better but were still tasty. The interior has A/C and it is nicely decorated. All in all I would recommend it to everyone.

The personal pizzas are affordable, priced at just 2.70 EUR each, and you can pair them with a glass of wine for 1.60 EUR.

Really interesting place in the middle of Ruzafa, very close to the market. They have a system where you ask how many small pizzas you want (I recommend around 3 per person) and they choose which ones will be. The atmosphere is very authentic and the price is very fair. Good to go with friends.

very rude waitress/cashier. when i just arrived she brushed me off saying she will "be back" in a very unprofessional and unpleasant tone. it made me feel like i was begging for a service i paid for. it instantly ruined the experience for me and even made me lose my appetite. a simple smile and or a bit of politeness would’ve gone a long way. so i ended up waiting for like 15min before i could even order. as for the food, i personally found that the pizza was fine, but not the best. the tiramisu however was a letdown. it was soggy and lacked flavor, possibly because the waitress rushed it out of the fridge and served it to me before the food arrived . by the time i got to eating it, the texture and taste were completely off. so overall i wouldn’t recommend this place. poor service and ordinary food just don’t make it worth your time.

We visited Ubik Café and, unfortunately, the coffee was undrinkable. We ordered the brunch menu and a flat white, but the oat milk was burnt and the grind size seemed off. The coffee was so sour I couldn’t drink it and left it as it was(as u can see from the picture)—I ended up going to Blackbird nearby, where we’d had a great experience the day before. This might have been an isolated issue, but before leaving, I shared my feedback with the waitress. She kindly asked why I hadn’t said anything earlier. I thanked her and left. The reason I didn’t mention it sooner is that, after serving us, she never checked back. The staff was polite, but I wouldn’t recommend coming here for coffee.

Very vibey and beautiful place! They have so many books, too bad not many English left (maybe all sold out haha). Only 5 for aperol. Daily menu starts at 13:00 so we were a bit early. My burrata sandwich was great Also books in Dutch! Check for foreign books close to entrance :)

Speciality coffee and outstanding brunch! Best eggs Benedict ever. Everything was extremely delicious and fine! The ladies, who are talking to the customers are amazing - so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is also very cozy, warm and cute! We absolutely recommend this place! :)

Food Quality: very good presentation and quality of food. I found there was still something missing in the eggs Benedict to make them truly great. Portions: great quantity. Drinks: many options of coffees, matcha, juices, and even some cocktails. Price: $$-$$$ some items are a bit more expensive than the normal breakfast price. Service: very friendly and quite fast. Atmosphere: cozy Highlights: the coffee concept is interesting. Things to improve: review the dishes to find improvements on the flavours. Payment Method: CC, cash

We really enjoyed it! Great aesthetic place, free water, very nice service and food. For me as lactose free person I really value that they had allergens written, so definitely recommend!

Lovely cafeteria hidden in the hipster area of Valencia. Food quality: in Spain it is always high, made of fresh and flavourful ingredients. Price: i would say menu is on the pricey side. The weekend before we were in Madrid and prices were comparable. For 2 sandwiches with 1 poached egg on each (1 with a side of bacon, but very little quantity), 2 black coffees we paid almost 27 euros. Atmosphere: for me personally if a cafeteria allows dogs inside, it’s already a winner. The reason I put 4* review in the atmosphere section is because just behind the cafeteria there’s a hotel/hostel, and guests were entering and exiting through the same door as Blue Bell with their huge suitcases pushing us in the back. It creates chaos. Service: there’s a lot of people wishing to eat in Blue Bell which is fantastic, so in that case more staff is needed because people waited for their food for a long time.
Marta K — Google review
Pancakes with Sour Cream??? But in the menu says cream. Confusing. However after we told the server, they acknowledged and agreed to update the information. The poached egg was overcooked. But shortly we got a new one. Service is swift and friendly. Food is still good but used to be better…
SimoneCA — Google review
Excellent coffee, one of the best I've had in Spain so far. Apple pancakes were really good, if not a little pricey. We had to wait a while for someone to come over after initially going to the register.

Such a beautiful, charming little coffee spot with delicious food. It was so good we went there two days in a row! The waitress mentioned something about it being the last day and now I see that it’s closed. Devastated to see that!

The Spanish restaurant Secreter Sala de estar has a menu that features tasteful dishes with subtle flavors. The terrace is a peaceful oasis in the heart of the old town, and the service is exceptional.
Very impressive starters with subtle flavours and a delicious paella followed by homemade cheesecake and chocolate cake for dessert. Both interior and courtyard dining. The ladies waiting the tables speak excellent English (for those concerned with understanding the menu) and are extremely friendly. Away from the tourist areas. Reasonably priced fixed menu (choice of three dishes per course. Three courses for 13€). Great wine and beer available
Gareth K — Google review
Great place for eating great local food dishes. They are not selling ”paella” every day, because their food is good enough and fancy. The only thing I would mention is drinks and coffee are not part of the price of the menu. So the final price is 11€ plus drinks and coffee which about 15€.
Víctor S — Google review
Good value for money for the menu del dia. Really subtle flavours but very delicious! Their vermut also packs a punch. Will definitely go back here. Service is exceptional and very friendly!

Very cute restaurant, we ordered lunch menu. Food was simple but very delicious! Especially for the dessert we ordered, apple pie was incredibly delicious! Considering the price we paid, the meal was very cheap. In order to avoid all the tourists in the city centre, to have a quite and nice lunch, this is a very good option for you!

La Fabrica de Hielo is a unique cultural space located in the emerging Cabanyal neighborhood of Valencia, just a short distance from Cabanal Beach. It is housed in a former ice factory and features an industrial-chic decor. The venue hosts a diverse range of events including live music, dance performances, theater shows, and art exhibitions. Visitors can relax on mismatched sofas while enjoying a glass of wine or Aperol spritz and sampling food from the onsite food trucks.
Really cool place to go for drinks, burgers, and tapas near the beach. It’s super funky inside, with lots of industrial decor. We visited twice last week and preferred early evening when it was a little quieter, and it’s perfect for pre dinner drinks. But if you want live music and nightlife go later. Local beer and local wine, good burgers, and a very laidback, cool vibe. Plenty of seating though suspect it gets packed later! It’s different than any other drinks place in the city and I’d definitely recommend. Dog and kid friendly.
Lesley B — Google review
Can get busy but is nice and have fair priced drinks and food. About 9 euros per dish and 3 to 5 euros per drinks. Good vibes. Would recommend.
Daniel L — Google review
Visited La Fabrica tonight as a solo traveler to catch the live band tonight. The venue has great vibes and was packed. Get there early to get a seat. Drinks were good and not overpriced. The musicians and their friends were friendly and welcoming. It was a great way to end my first day in Valencia.
The T — Google review
During my month in Valencia, it became clear that there's always something to do, including a free jazz show at one of the coolest bars I've ever stepped foot in! Right near the beach and you'll find yourself swept away by the industrial, yet cozy feel of La Fabrica, tapping your foot to the live music while grabbing an ice cold pint. Go for the Turia, a local and spectacular beer. Complete with food, so you don't need to worry about searching for somewhere else to go. Arrive early to grab a seat if there's a band on. Side note: the band was awesome!
Ryan H — Google review
Amazing place to hangout and drink some beer. Not like a regular bar, but a place where you can enjoy a company of friends, beer, food, live music and just chill around in a nice environment. The vibes are brilliant! ✨
Tamar B — Google review
Lovely location with cool decor and a sweet vibe, with multiple venues for concerts, comedy, etc. Love the multiple bars in rooms. BUT, drinks are overpriced, food service is anything but inviting, and the quality of the food (although edible) is not impressive. The kitchen DID however follow directions on accommodations, which is a big +! We will return when the event calls for it, but I would not seek this place out as a place to land for the evening based on the lack of attentive service.
Ivy L — Google review
I love this bar and their music events, modern, trendy with good products. Perfect for a Gilda with a vermut or a turia. The live electronic music is always cool.

El Cafetín Valencia is a charming café established in 1980, located in the heart of El Carmen just off Plaza del Tossal. The interior is adorned with eclectic antiques and captivating artwork, creating a cozy and homely ambiance. It's known for serving agua de Valencia, a delightful mimosa made with cava, orange juice, gin, vodka, and sugar. The bar offers an intimate setting where patrons often share tables and enjoy friendly interactions.
I came across this place by accident, but it was a very lucky strike - it is a very nice and cosy place with a unique, vintage interior design. There are many locals visiting, what makes this place even more authentic. Also the staff is super nice and friendly and prices are affordable, especially for such location. The best Agua de Valencia in the city. Highly recommended! :)

I passed by this cozy little café-bar again and finally stepped inside, drawn in by the soft sound of the piano music. The place is small but charming, with cute vintage decorations n friendly staff. They serve coffee - cocktails and snacks. I had a refreshing orange 🍊 juice cocktail Would definitely come back next time I’m in town. ( More details in the photo captions )

The place itself is really beautiful, this is the old fashioned we ordered. It wasn’t the first cousin of an old fashioned, tasted like lemonade and whisky and was not enjoyable at all. It’s a pity as the place is lively with such a nice vibe. If it’s not broke don’t fix it, keep the old fashioned sacred.

The place has its own charm, but the waitress can be very rude. We were there one night while a piano player was improvising - this was not a concert event, the guy was just having fun -when the waitress came over and scoled everyone in the most rude way because patrons were making too much noise. We left and do not intend to go back.

A food lover's paradise. Everything you could want in a market is here: wine, chocolates, meat, fish, you name it - all fresh and of incredible quality. Try the sea urchin paste (2 EUR per spoon). Delicious.

The market building is large and impressed me most from the outside. Inside, you can buy practically anything, and it's very crowded. However, I can't help but feel that it's a tourist trap when it comes to fruit. The final price is almost never the same as the price tag, and we bought the worst strawberries there. However, the building itself and the atmosphere are unmatched. Just consider your purchases carefully if you're not a local.

I don’t get it why this place have so much good reviews. Let me explain. When I entered to cafeteria nobody said anything. No hi, no show where I can sit, NOTHING. So I just get my table and sit. After few minutes waitress come over. She took order and after few minutes my order was on the table. Reading all those „good” reviews I expected something special, yeah, it was. Chocolate was just ok, rich and creamy. Churros was cold and chewy. Farton was just a bland dough, no taste, no sweetness. Thats a fact. Horchata wasn’t my taste but it’s just my opinion, some people can like it. In the middle of my lunch waitress just brought a check? No questions how good lunch was, how you like that, nothing. Whoooo… Ok, so is this yours customer service? Got it. When I want to make some pics (for review)of food they sell, one of lady shouted on me: NO PHOTOSSS!!! Maybe in response they will explain, why can’t make photos of food? What do you have to hide? It could be a really nice spot for horchata and churros, because inside the cafeteria looks REALLY nice, with THAT mood. I like that. But besides that, nothing is right there. Maybe all those things happened because I’m a tourist and they don’t like tourists. (Spanish people spraying water on tourist in 🇪🇸- you can see that on news) Or maybe they are like they are. I don’t know 🤷 but that was my first and LAST time. Beware of that place, especially if your are TOURIST. NOT RECOMMEND THEM

Tasty fartons and an interesting horchata drink! 🙋🏽‍♀️Tourist Review 📍The Venue: A very traditional place. It’s quite spacious, spread over two floors, though there’s no outdoor seating. 🥛What we ordered: -Horchata: My first time trying this drink! It was nice, but definitely an acquired taste — kind of like coconut water, which not everyone enjoys. Still, as a tourist, I always appreciate tasting something new. - Fartons: So good! Thy are simple but soft and sweet. Loved them! 😋 💁🏻‍♀️The Service: I enjoy writing reviews because I rely on them myself to find good spots and get a sense of the atmosphere. The waiter told me I couldn’t take photos or videos inside, which I respected — but later I noticed plenty of people taking pictures and no one said a thing 🤣. A bit inconsistent, and it’s a shame because it’s such a lovely place to show on Google. 💭Final Thoughts: A little pricey, probably due to its tradition and popularity, but worth visiting at least once. It was nice to try something different, and I’d definitely come back if I get the chance! Five stars anyway — despite they didn’t let me take photos 😂!

Churros should be eaten with the chocolate dip. Texture of the chocolate dip is thick yet not too sweet. However note that chocolate dip has to be ordered separately. First time trying Hotchata, nothing to compare but it was sweet. Service is terrible, didn’t feel welcoming.

Polite and friendly staff, excellent selection of pastries. A very convenient breakfast location to our hotel. This croissant was custard and jam, which wasn’t the cheese and bacon I was expecting down to my poor Spanish. I hit my head on bathroom light which is very low hanging.

Insanely good food. I had the cinnamon roll my friends had empanadas and other pastries, not a single bad word was said about anything it was all amazing. €2.70 for a cinnamon roll as big and tasty as this is a steal. Didn't get a photo before it was nearly gone!

delicious! but they got our order wrong. the ambiance is nice but very crowded and of course the cleanliness is sacrificed!
Zohreh A — Google review
The location and place was very cute. We sat outside and enjoyed the small patio out front. We ordered the yogurt bowl, ham and cheese croissant, a chicken empanada, chocolate croissants, cappuccinos and a vanilla iced latte. The yogurt bowls were delicious. The ham and cheese croissant came out more room temperature than warm. Along with the chicken empanada, it was a little colder than warm but very flavorful. The cappuccinos were very good, but the latte was watery. The mini chocolate croissant was so good and perfectly filled. We would definitely recommend coming here

I ordered simple tea and pastry. It was good and good prices. I love the atmosphere and they have great selection of desserts and pastry. If you around and want to try it. I recommend it.
Carolina M — Google review
Wasn’t expecting the pastry to be so sweet, but as it says on the name most of their pastries are stuffed or decorated with “dulce de leche”. With this being said, if you’re planing to share with someone else don’t order more than two or else you’ll feel sick. Overall, the bakery shop/cafe was amazing!

Chocolatería Valor is a beloved gem in Valencia, renowned for its decadent offerings that are sure to delight any chocolate lover. Established in 1881, this iconic spot serves up the thickest and richest hot chocolate you can find in the city, perfectly paired with crispy churros. While indulging in this delightful combination might feel like a guilty pleasure, it’s actually a cherished breakfast tradition across Spain.
I about died and went to heaven with these chocolates. I tried the small little chocolates that are like little balls where you can get a little box of 4. Wow! Oh my lord were they good. Mom totally agreed too. I also had a cafe con leche that was nothing but spectacular too. Service was good and I highly recommend.

My visit here was enjoyable. A spacious, quiet place with air conditioning (especially needed in this weather). The staff was pleasant and friendly. Extensive menu with all kinds of chocolate, hot and cold drinks, churros, and bocadillos. I ordered hot chocolate without sugar and a portion of churros. Chocolate was dense and rich in taste. Churros were big, fresh, and hot. Everything was tasty. Good location. There are two floors with a nice view and a toilet upstairs. Definitely recommend!

GREAT location looking out onto Valencia square! The 4 pancake stake was incredible and would definitely recommend. They did offer a lunch menu with sandwiches. Perfect spot to have a drink too, there were seats outside which offered shade or sun and seating inside.

I was going to order hot chocolate and churros on menu. Then the waiter kindly told me in English that it may be too much churros, would be better two hot chocolate and share some churros. HE WAS RIGHT. Even i could have ordered small ones on the back menu… Very kind waiter and good hot chocolate and churros, 5 stars!

Amazing churros con chocolate as always, service is efficient and staff is friendly. I always stop by a chocolatería Valor whenever I see one and this one didn't disappoint

Nice Churros, good service! They were really friendly even though we don’t speak the best Spanish. The Churros are crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. The chocolate wasn’t too sweet, so we liked it better than any other places we tried the dipping Chocolate! Would come again! You can also sit outside in the sun or under an umbrella!

Such a lovely spot! The churros were absolutely delicious and great quality. I had them with a kind of thick hot chocolate and it was amazing for dipping. Definitely recommend ordering them together! On top of that, the service was wonderful: a super friendly gentleman who was quick, attentive, and made the experience even better. Really enjoyed it!

I’m a fan of churros con chocolate, and these are the best I’ve ever tasted! The churros are perfectly smooth, light, flavorful, and not greasy at all. Chocolate has many options like vegan, without gluten etc. Very good, too!! It’s been my place to go every morning while visiting Valencia!

Federal Valencia is a trendy café located in a historic building, featuring stylish Scandinavian interior design. It attracts a diverse crowd of locals, travelers, and digital nomads with its top-notch coffee and hearty brunch menu. The Australian founders have successfully recreated the laid-back atmosphere of their homeland. This café is known for being one of the few WiFi-friendly spots near Mercado Central, making it popular among remote workers. The customizable menu offers various options for eggs, toast, coffee, teas, and cakes.
Healthy delicious brunch. We had the scrambled eggs, bacon and toast with a side of mushrooms. The poached eggs were also incredible ! Extensive drinks menu. The staff was very attentive and quick. Good prices. Lots of locals dine here.

Federal Café in Valencia has a beautiful atmosphere with relaxed, stylish vibes that make it a great spot to hang out or get some work done. The space feels open and inviting, with lots of natural light and a modern, cozy design. The food was good overall, but a few dishes felt like they could use a bit more flavor or refinement. That said, the presentation was lovely and the ingredients tasted fresh. The coffee and drinks were definitely a highlight and worth coming back for. I’d return for the ambiance alone and give the food another try.

I really recommend this cafe if you want to have a good coffee and a delicious dessert. The location is amazing. The interior design is very comfortable with soft colors, high ceiling and open visual space. It's clean from inside. The staff are very professional and friendly. Recommended.

Really good coffee. Iced Vanilla latte was delicious. Affordable healthy options. Good amount of outlets for working on your laptop. Great cafe!
Delia L — Google review
The place looks nice and the presentation is attractive, but the flavors were disappointing. We ordered two Americanos at the same time and they came in noticeably different amounts. The chia pudding was not fresh or chilled, and it was overly sweetened with honey. The fresh orange juice also felt off—almost as if the oranges had been stored in an oven. On top of that, even though the café was nearly empty, solo guests were moved from tables to the bar by the window, which felt unnecessary. Overall, stylish in appearance but weak in taste and service.
Volkan O — Google review
Good service, nice and helpful people! The food was also really good, only the crust of the sandwich was a bit to hard toasted so to cut was bit difficult. But in general really good, definitely worth it to go if you're in Valencia :)

This is the most perfect Win-Win situation you can have in a relationship. A Flamenco show within an Irish Pub! Drinking a good, cold Guinness while you are watching a Flamenco Show with your girlfriend. And to be clear: The show was awesome!

Went here for drinks and ended up getting some food too - fish n chips, hot dog, and chicken sandwich. The service was great - everyone was very friendly. The food was delicious but pricey for Valencia. We had a great time and will be back for the diverse beer selection!
Samantha M — Google review
This place is designed to make you feel unwelcome. The barman made eye contact with us, then went back to doing dishes and staring in to an empty bar - living his best life. After a long wait, he finally served us but focused on correcting our pronunciation of a beer instead of offering any hospitality. Staff here need a serious reality check - doing the bare minimum would already be an improvement. The lighting is cold and bright. The music very quiet. The toilet seems to be permanently out of order. We left after one drink due to this diabolical atmosphere.
Sean H — Google review
We were so full from dinner that we decided to go for a walk. We wanted a digestif. Ended up here as they had seats and had Scotch instead. They had a nice Hibiki. Beer prices were a bit steep but wine was ok. They have a few TVs so good to watch a game.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere at the pub! The service from Alonzo was particularly excellent—he was very cordial, kind, and attentive. I chatted with him throughout the day, and he looked after me wonderfully. I hope you keep improving; a remodel of the facilities, especially the furniture area, wouldn't be a bad idea. I will definitely be back!

Worst pint of Guinness ever… apparently how it’s meant to be poured… according to the barman 🤷‍♂️ I did get him to ‘fill’ it but 🤦‍♂️ it tasted as bad as it looked. We took them back, but had to buy other drinks, not their fault🤷‍♂️

Terrible service. Stupid local rules of this particular pub. Toilets do not work!!! in the pub!!! Are you out of your mind? This is not an Irish pub, this is a low-grade, miserable place with no future and a terrible present. I recommend passing by this disappointment. The waiter who served the street tables on September 11, 2025 at noon is a terrible person. He insulted my family, my children and me. How such people are allowed to work with people is incomprehensible. He simply shirks responsibility, refuses to bring «Hoja de Reclamación». He is simply rude to strangers. He should be fired, but unfortunately this is not possible.

Truly a gem in Valencia. A very authentic, low-key, charming local wine place. Everything is simple except for the wine and tapas, which are exceptional. Get your wine, ham, and cheese, and enjoy it.

We really had fun here. Very Spanish experience where the sum is more than the parts. Bodega with wide selection of wines by the bottle. The food is only conservas and embutidos. Service is sparse. And they've removed the seats from the toilets in both bathrooms. But we loved it.

Absolutely disgraceful! The tables were filthy, and despite asking, no one bothered to clean them. We had the pleasure of drinking surrounded by the leftovers of the previous guests, how appetizing! The house wine? Tasted like it was squeezed straight out of disappointment. Two bottles down, and not a single snack to ease the misery. The staff? Rude, unbothered, and as welcoming as a brick wall. If you’re looking for bad service, terrible wine, this is your spot!

I went last weekend with a large group and highly recommend. I would have given 5 stars for the food except a friend is on a strict gluten free diet right now and was unable to eat anything on the menu. A gluten free beer was listed in the online menu but was unavailable. For me, however, the burger was one of the best I have tried in Valencia and the beer was delicious. Service was polite and fast. I would definitely return here.

It's the year 2025 and this place doesn't have one single vegetarian option. The staff pointed out that I could ask for a 'meat dish without meat' but also admitted this meant a 'burger bun with some tomato and lettuce' - otherwise known as a sandwich. Only thing I could eat was the nachos - with no meat. Which makes you wonder why they don't have 'vegetarian nachos' on the menu - at least then there's a pretense of a vegetarian option

Great pub close to the city center. Loved the orange wheat and blonde beer! Menu is “pub classic”. Tortillas are just perfect / warm and served with a bit of jalapenos. Fish and chips is also great. It is a bit sports oriented, so you can enjoy games!

Tasca Sorolla is a tiny, authentic tapas spot located near Mercado Central in Valencia. Where to begin! If someone had told us this place had a Michelin star or was working towards one - I’d believe it! We walked past late on a Friday night and it was a big vibe. We came back a couple days later for dinner and had an unforgettable meal. Such an intimate place, a small menu, cooking simple but elegant dishes.

One of my favorite spots in Valencia!!! The food was excellent — the tapas were made of high quality ingredients (both produce and seafood) and seasoned and cooked perfectly to bring out the flavor of the ingredients. The owner (? maybe) served us with so much care — making sure our food came out at a good pace the tuna was so excellent. also loved the tomatoes, cheese, peppers, cuttlefish. the cod croquettes were so tasty and you could taste the fish and it felt so homey. can’t recommend this place enough!!

Great market. Had super sandwiches in one of the small restaurants. People buy fish from the market and bring it here to be cooked for them. I loved the idea but we were running out of time so we had some warm sandwiches. Mine had baby eels in them, one of the strangest things I’ve eaten but tasted amazing!

Reputedly, the best market in Valencia, and certainly a very well stocked one. Excellent selections of mostly local meats, fruits and vegetables and other assortments. I buy all my fresh goods here.
Rosendo F — Google review
If you are looking for a grocery store, this isn’t it, but if you are looking for a market, this is exactly what you want! Everything is fresh and leaves nothing to be desired! Customer service at nearly every shop within the market is excellent! As someone who is not fluent in Spanish, I found it still very easy to communicate with nearly everybody in there. This is not a tourist type market like you might find in Central Madrid or other very touristy areas. This is where the locals come and it’s worth a trip if that is your interest!

We stay in Valencia (Patacona) a lot and this is our go-to market hall. They really have a great selection of meats, fruits and vegetables, cheese, olives, nuts and baked goods. Go early! The market is jumping in the morning but dies down quickly by noon with most shops closed by 1pm. I particularly like the olive seller in the first row near the east entrance. Very friendly and lets me try several types of olives before buying.

A knockout paella de marisco! Super yummy, great flavor and a great portion at reasonable fare. The staff are friendly, the grub is good and made fresh to order, overall a nice humble little dig. Only came for drinks. Got an aperol spritz, not sure how they made it but it had a strong flavour of bitters or organge liquor.. only had a few sips and the waiter just asked if I had finished when paying. Did not care to enquire why I left the full glass of drink… very bad experience. One of the simplest cocktails to make and they got it wrong. The customer service, or I should say lack of made the experience terrible…

Walked in there without seeing the rating… …I’m surprised it’s 3.4 - too high for their service Our waitress was useless, he didn’t even try to understand what I mean when I say I understand one paella is for 2 people - I need 1 paella for 2 people, not 2 paella for 4 people, then he couldn’t explain to us what beer is what and kept repeating it’s Spanish beer - we know that, we can see, eventually we had to pick a random one. Paella was slightly raw, we got 5 plates for 6 people just put on the table together with weird uneven cutleries, no one came to take empty bottles from our table when there wasn’t enough space for plates.

We ate here for the NYE dinner. Was the best choice we ever did! They saved our NYE night I swear. We didn't make reservations for a place so we needed to find one and just went for this one. The fooooood was amaziiiiing. The price was for the whole NYE menu but they gave us more food than we could eat. The steak was simply delicious and they also gave us multiple aperitivos. El Racó de la Paella is a charming restaurant located in the historic center of Valencia, housed in an elegant Valencian mansion from the 1900s. The restaurant specializes in traditional paellas cooked over a wood fire, using local ingredients to create authentic flavors. In addition to their signature Valencian paella, they offer a variety of rice dishes such as arroz del senyoret and arroz negro.
With Guillermo directing the staff, our meal was excellent. Really friendly and detail-oriented customer service. Lovely cozy Restaurant with excellent food typical from Valencia. Regional cuisine options for tapas, as esgarrat or croquetas de bacalao. Paella valenciana de pollo y conejo which is passed on through generations. The taste of paella was soft and delicate, which is something to be appreciated in these times when paellas have been modernized and the flavours tend towards exaggeration or heaviness. It is so well worth a visit. Special point for Valencian Homemade Desserts. Torrija y tarta de limón were the crowning glory. Carpaccio de piña, great light sweet option.

Need reservation to go there!!! A must. But we were lucky enough to have a spot at the entrance of this beautiful place. The atmosphere is amazing! Everyone looks happy and relaxed. I believe the manager let us stay and eat. Paella Valenciana was not available at the time because it takes like 90 min to prepare, but that did not stop us from eating the seafood one!!! The sangria was fresh and dessert had in Unbelievable taste, me and my wife enjoyed it so much to the last scrape of the pan!!! The cordial customer service was amazing. This is a very small place, easy to find and then you can enjoy a walk around and enjoy the beautiful architecture.

Verdict: 85% yes! It could be because I’m not used to actual Spanish paella, but I didn’t love it. It was dry. I’ve made paella before, and I liked mine better. A truly classic meal here in Valencia. The salad was exceptional, with tuna and white asparagus. We also ordered mushroom / pumpkin balls for an appetizer (like a hush puppy) that was really delicious. Finally, the paella valencian (chicken, duck, rabbit , snails), that had so many flavors. A great lunch all around ! Make sure to have a reservation, as they have a limited amount of tables.

A nice place where we ate a delicious paella valenciana ( rabbit meat, green beans, beans and snails) and we drank Sangria. The stuff is friendly and treats you well. Reservation is recommended. We were lucky that they squeeze us in.

We were on a tour to learn how to properly make the traditional paella. The tour guide was perfect and the lunch with 3 starters, 2 wines and a dessert wine and 3 types of paella was simply superb. Well worth the cost and the time! Just right!

I was expecting more, but worth a visit. Atmosphere is great. Traditional and old house. Staff is more than friendly. I ordered a "different" paella because I wasn't feeling well... and they did it. Not sure why not 5 stars. It was a cold and rainy day... Perhaps overstated in fame. Good, but not unique in terms of food.

Tapas bar
El Almacén is a tapas bar located in the vibrant neighborhood of Ruzafa in Valencia. It prides itself on offering a new rustic kitchen experience, serving original tapas that combine modern and traditional flavors, paired with a selection of quality wines. The restaurant's menu features an array of options including cold and hot tapas, toast, hamburgers, and sweet tapas for dessert.
Incredibly cute place in the heart of Russafa. Raimon and his team were super professional and made sure we enjoyed our experience. I would recommend the tasting menu as you will probably end up paying about the same and you will get to try everything. We didn’t have it and we ended up paying the same and regret not having it to try a few more dishes. We stayed in the indoor patio which was super cute and cozy.

We had a fantastic meal here. Shared a bunch of dishes and left feeling super full for less than €50 a person. Highlights were the carbonara gnocchi and the Korean beef. The desserts and drinks were also great. Would return.

We decided to go for dinner there and it was a great experience! The food was amazing, it all came with the explanation of the chef. Great attention to details and amazing combination of flavours and tastes. Couldn’t recommend it more! I’m definitely planning on going back to try more dishes and desserts ☺️

If you are in Valencia you absolutely must visit El Almacén. Simon is a true artist that completely amazed us (and our palettes!) Thank you Simon (and Benina, our wonderful waitress) for a simply unforgettable experience. We will be back!

We went to El Almacén in Ruzafa on a Friday night as a group of three and were welcomed super warmly. We sat in the back patio – really stylish, relaxed vibe with a nice mix of guests. We tried a variety of dishes and honestly, everything was spot on – both in taste and presentation. Great wine selection too, and the hosts are incredibly friendly, which makes you feel at home right away. Value for money is excellent: starters, mains, dessert, coffee and wine for three people – around €200. For the quality and experience, absolutely worth it. Big compliments – a fantastic restaurant we can highly recommend!
Fabian K — Google review
Excellent tasting evening menu. 10 courses. Very efficient and friendly service. Very good recommended local wine was one of cheapest on list. Cool ambiance in rear patio area. Each dish small but with 10 you leave fully satisfied.

The worst experience I ever had in Valencia! They claim to have interesting food, but apart from being very expensive, there is nothing impressive! El Almacén is a disaster as a service/ actually there is a lack of any service/. The staff is slow, aggressively rude and disrespectful to customers, but maybe that's the restaurant's policy! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who would like to have a pleasant experience of atmosphere and food!

Service was good and the staff were friendly. Food however was just ok. But it was super overpriced. Most expensive place we ate in Valencia and the food was just mediocre. Avoid unless you like tourist traps. There are much better places to go then this with much better food at more reasonable prices. You're paying for the location here.
Phill P — Google review
We were very dissapointed about the service… We wanted to order still water and coca cola at 18 pm. This was not possible because the waitress said ‘it was cocktail time’ and we have to drink something above 10 euros. It’s unbelievable that nowadays you can’t order a non-alcoholic drink at a reasonable price…
Noortje L — Google review
Appauling treatment. Obviously get enough business to treat customers like scum! Waiter told us the owner had said they would not sell soft drinks. We challenged this as we had been to the bar the day before. He went to ask his boss and he said the owner had said he wouldn't sell soft drinks and we had to order food. We left.

Nice little place for good, healthy bowls. We really enjoyed our fancy bowls and can recommend this place.
Marina N — Google review
Horrible experience which cost me and my boyfriend 28€. Nevermore. Whole setup was dirty, there were food leftovers everywhere around and on tables. I ordered chicken curry - avocado was tough, rice was covered in big amounts of some kind of mayo, which was really disgusting. Far away from healthy food. Bad taste.
Kamila Č — Google review
We went there because of a quite good goole rating. Usually when you're the only one in a restaurant, this means something. The food tasted good, but it was almost to intense for natural flavors, maybe artificially enhanced. But I don't know this. The food is really expensive for what you get. 15€ for a "large" bowl mostly existing of rice. It's just to expensive for what you get. Also this fast food restaurant is quite loud from the kitchen. Maybe ventilation or so makes it noisy all-time long. And please don't order nachos. Go to the supermarket next door and get 10 times the amount for the same price. They have just been plain with a little bit of guacamole. Of you think of going there.. well, I wouldn't go there again. 40€ maybe saturate one adult. Service was average, ok.

In the very center of Valencia, hidden on the street, a vegetarian restaurant. Great fresh food, sushi rice, brown rice and quinoa, the rest of the toppings you can add yourself, whatever you want, fish, tuna, octopus, soy meat. A very large selection of sauces! My family and I loved it! Special thanks for the friendly communication, very positive staff, especially Maria, she speaks English, very, very nice! What we did not know, she advised, prompted! Recommend! Perfect place!

If you're on the hunt for a cozy spot to indulge in authentic Neapolitan pizza, look no further than Pizzeria Spacca Napoli. Nestled near the historic Abastos building, this charming pizzeria captures the essence of Naples with its thin-crust pizzas topped with fresh ingredients and baked to perfection in a wood-fired oven. The menu features classic options like the margherita and marinara, showcasing traditional flavors that are sure to delight any pizza lover.
We were greeted by friendly waitresses that immediately sat us at the table and brought us drinks. I am from Naples, and I can confirm that the pizza here is authentic and fresh. I also enjoyed the songs of the famous Pino Daniele in the background, it really added to the atmosphere. I will definitely be back multiple times.

Average experience. It's not bad, you'll eat well. But the pizza was average (not great hydration), the service was minimal, there were no table cloths, no salt.& pepper and olive oil on the table, etc. Nothing very wrong with all of that, but the price was too expensive for this sort of place.

⚠️⚠️⚠️ Be careful, they are not 100% VEGAN ‼️, i was terribly sick after having had these cakes, i have dairy problems, and the cakes made me very sick 😭 ❌❌Vegan stores should consider people vegan as not a trend or luxury, this is sometimes allergy and something that might cause health problems!! For info, i ate good cakes on 2023, and there was no problem at all, but 3 years later (now) they reduced the quality and maybe using cheap products to prepare with !!

I am lucky enough to live nearby and I visit frequently. The pizzas are so delicious, with very high quality ingredients and an excellent range of tasty flavours, including plenty of great choices for vegetarians. The bases are hand made, thin and not greasy. The toppings include things like quality gorgonzola, goats cheese, rocket, various lovely and high-quality Italian cheeses, sausages and hams. But the prices are also great - about 8-10 euro per pizza, and they're pretty big! Not to mention the owner Gianfranco is a very nice person. If you're in the area I really recommend you visit. If you're not in the area then I suggest you make an excuse to visit :-)

Delicious poke, pretty and clean interior. Prices are higher but I still recommend it. You can choose from 300g, 500g or 1kg bowls, I went for 1kg Gourmet bowl and I can say that was one of best pokes I have ever eaten.

Way too salty. The food is fresh and clean and hygienic. But our vegan poke bowl was drowned in way too much soya sauce with no other flavour added.

Fast food restaurant
El Tarantín Chiflado is an unconventional restaurant known for its generous burgers, delectable desserts, and a variety of beers. The ambiance is described as pleasant and intriguing, resembling an escape room. Customers appreciate the polite and efficient service, with the option to order and pay through a convenient app. The burgers are highly praised for their exceptional taste, with one being hailed as possibly the best in Valencia.
Found this place randomly on the map - the look of the place from outside caught my eye, so I decided to give it a try. And wow, what a surprise! The La Mejor burger totally lives up to its 2024 nomination as the best in Valencia - honestly, I liked it way more than the so-called world’s #1 from Hundred Burgers. Super juicy, full of flavor, just perfect. The interior is even cooler than it looks from the outside - unique and full of character. And shoutout to Mario, the waiter - super friendly and incredibly fast. Service was top-notch. Definitely coming back.
Oleksii N — Google review
Fun place with a quirky vibe – loved the Halloween decor and the robot that delivered our food! The burger was good, but nothing mind-blowing – still just a burger at the end of the day. Prices were fair and the overall experience was definitely unique. Worth a visit for the novelty factor!
J — Google review
Just wow!! Best burger in Valencia so far, full of flavour and cheese sauce - it’s worth the money - been served straight away and waiting time was around 5min. Strongly recommend Burger Major - the rib taste like a sweet dream 🤤
Borys K — Google review
The hamburger is amazing! Super tender beef, cooked just right, and the sauce adds a nice touch—slightly on the sweet side, but still tasty. Great bun and solid portion. Would totally order it again!
Bao T — Google review
The best burgers of our lives! We ordered two MOAB burger (Mother of All Burgers) and it truly lived up to its name, along with La Mejor, which had been nominated as the best burger in Valencia in 2024. The MOAB was huge—I could barely take a bite. Personally, it felt like a bit too much meat for my taste, but it was insanely good. La Mejor, though, was without a doubt the best burger we’ve ever had: not too big, not too small, easy to bite into, and the flavor was just wow. For two people, one portion of fries is more than enough. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Adda P — Google review
This is one of the best burgers I've ever had. Anywhere. Period. Really cool place and a very original burger, too! They blowtorch the raclette cheese at your table and then pour it on top of the burger! It's so amazing and a melty-cheesy goodness unlike any burger I've ever had. Also, we went there one night around 11:30 and they were very accommodating after originally saying we could only order apps. Everyone was incredibly nice and happy to help or answer questions. Love this place and would definitely go back next time I'm in Valencia.
Greg R — Google review
We had a nice eating experience here, nice burgers, meat very good quality. It's a fun place to enjoy a night out. Family friendly, friendly staff :)
Fiona Q — Google review
Very pleasant from the entrance and very interesting place. Looks like an escape room. They are very polite and friendly. The service is good and quick. You have the possibility to order and pay directly from your phone. From an app that shows after scanning the QR, you just add the products and pay. The drinks arrived just in seconds. The burgers were really tasty. I liked all the experience overall. If you want to eat a good burger and a fantastic torta tres leches, this is the place. I recommend to reserve the table. Little chance to eat here without a reservation.

Italian restaurant
Pizza restaurant
Raffaello Pasta e Pizza is a charming family-owned restaurant located near the park and sciences area. The place offers a delightful selection of Italian dishes, including ravioli and pizza. Visitors have praised the fresh ingredients, flavorful crusts, and friendly staff. Many locals frequent the restaurant for their delicious pizzas to go. The cozy atmosphere adds to the dining experience, although some have mentioned that service can be improved.
We were desperate for food after Gullivers Park and we were super lucky to find this gem. The pizza is good, I loved the deep fried stuffed pumpkin flower (my partner didnt - his loss). Food was quick, service was nice, place was clean. I recommend.
Geraldine B — Google review
We had such high expectations of this place and were so bitterly disappointed. Literally the only good thing was the light draft beer. The dark one was spoiled. Terrible service and to our surprise - tasteless food with such low quality ingerdients. Only the pizza tasted good before it got cold. Once it did, it became unedible and sour. The rest had 0 taste besides the salt. It is a pitty, as we live close and are looking for a place to have lunch regularly in, but that would not be it. We were sadly mislead by the strangely high rating.
Ina K — Google review
cosy restaurant, italian atmosphere, good food, good wine and beer. they impressed us with the Margherita Bufala, a pizza which they dont have in the menu but made it for us at our request. there is a -1 start due to the fact that on night my Caltone pizza was not properly done.
CipicU B — Google review
We tried the carbonara and the margherita pizza. The carbonara wasn’t the traditional version with egg — it came very cheesy and a bit too heavy for our taste. The margherita pizza was okay, nothing remarkable but decent. Service was polite, though it seemed the staff weren’t very familiar with the details of the dishes. Overall, an average experience with room for improvement.
Phoebe D — Google review
Service was amazing, accommodating and very welcoming. Food was lovely, excellent pizza dough. We recommend and will definitely come back!
Bella D — Google review
We have tried many different restaurants in both Alicante and Valencia and today was our last day and we were about to leave this country without having any decent meal at all till by chance we ended up at this incredible restaurant. The pizza was DELICIOUS like a true Italian food that gave me flash backs to my time in Italy. We are finally happy to leave this country with a good memory of this place. The atmosphere is amazing and cozy but the only downside of this place is the service!!! The staff are super busy going around randomly without providing a good service unfortunately. Apart from that never hesitate to come by and try their Rafaelo and Quadra pizzas.

Best pizza we had in Spain. Service was great too! Beautiful view! Would definitely come back!

Yesterday, I was there for dinner and it was delicious. I had the ravioli with gorgonzola. The waiter was professional, funny, and very warm-hearted. I feel very blessed to have found this restaurant and its wonderful staff. It was truly my pleasure – God bless you!

Ivan S — Google review
Overall, great burrito spot. It’s similar to Chipotle and Moe’s (from the USA). The prices were reasonable.
Cayman S — Google review
We were looking for a good Burrito joint around Valencia and stumbled over this place. The burrito was really good, not using minced meat, but pulled beef is a different quality and everything was very delicious. I totally recommend it! A burrito costs around 8,90€ and the staff was friendly.
Trader J — Google review
The food here was amazing! If you don't know exactly what you want, the cook will build the burrito for you. My boyfriend got a spicy and I got a regular. Both were delicious. If you like Mexican food, this is a perfect stop for lunch or dinner!
Sam S — Google review
The food is good, but the pricing is misleading. Instead of informing you of the cost upfront, the staff member simply asks which ingredients you’d like. Only after your burrito is made do you find out the final price — which often differs from what’s listed on the menu. This is something the establishment should seriously address.
Edward H — Google review
The €1.50 tacos are a very good deal. Burrito was very tasty too.
Julian S — Google review
Do I have to travel all the way here to get an authentic Mexican Burritos? This place is a treat and the prices are very good too. Service, surprisingly for Spain is excellent too. We are planning to come back when again in Spain. Food is fresh and the quantity of toppings is way above the average.

If you're looking for a delicious Italian meal with fully customizable pizzas, look no further than Infraganti - Con las manos en la Masa. This artisanal venue offers a wonderful experience with friendly staff and excellent food. The price is also very reasonable, making this a great place to visit any time.
The food is amazing. We tried the pesto lasagna and the truffle lasagna. Best meals I had in my life. The price is comically low - around 6 eur for the best meal you can eat. We ate food 3-5 times more expensive at restaurants rated 4.6 and more, and comparatively they suck. There are benches in front of the beautiful market to enjoy the food and the view.
Nikola D — Google review
There is a photo frame on the counter saying this is the best takeout food in Valencia and I definitely second it. You can find full set of food here, from appetizers to main course to dessert. I’ve been here regularly, and none of the plates have ever disappointed me. I love quinoa salads the most. It’s healthy, light but flavorful.
Fang H — Google review
We came here three times during our week-long stay in Valencia and every time we were warmly welcomes and served excellent fresh food. I would recommend everything from the pesto pasta to the jamòn pizza. The price is always very fair and the chef/owner is clearly passionate about his food. Some good additions to a meal was the wine and tasty tiramisu.

Named best take out in Valencia. This genuine italuan place* is the best chpice for when you are craving italian but you don't want to go to a restaurant. The food is incredibile and very varied but the lasagnas deserve a special mention. *i checked, I speak fluent Italian.

The personnel was really friendly and profesional in the same time. Even if we had a big order, they were very patient and took the order very well.

We ate combo amigos, it was perfect, both buritos are enough for one meal, and nachos and drinks on top of that, you will be full until tomorrow noon definitely. Servise was nice and fast, you just choose your combo burrito, there is a lot of ingredients really. Guacamole is paid extra but that's okay. In short: big recommendation!
NIkola V — Google review
We ordered 2 beef burritos and it was perfect! No words needed, you choose your favourite ingredients and they roll it for you, really quick service.
Stanka — Google review
Rudist, nastiest, most disdaining service I’ve experienced in Spain and possibly in top 3 in world. No idea, girl may have been having a bad day but she was absolutely horrible. Literally flung food at us. Additionally she had same pair of gloves on in between multiple orders where she was on her phone, fixing her hair and handling cash - gross!!! The concept is great and our tacos tasted nice, we actually wanted more food but went elsewhere as the service was incredibly awful.
Alison F — Google review
Nice warm burritos meal! Friendly staff too, special call out to Ms.Esther whom is very patient with us as we don't speak Spanish.
Chris T — Google review
Not the experience we expected, given the high rating of this place. The food is nothing special and definitely not worth the price. We got the combo amigos (the price was not displayed, but the reviews said that it was 20 euros a few months back). We ended up paying about 30 euros for it, and it was surprising to me that basic things in a burrito like beef and guacamole were charged extra. The staff was very rushed and not willing to help with recommendations, they just seemed to want to be done with us ASAP 😅. They also forgot to bring the drinks - we had to remind them two times. Overall, an experience I wouldn't recommend.
Roxana C — Google review
Excellent burritos, tacos, and quesadillas. The service is fast and the variety of ingredients is great. The portions are decent as well. For ~€10 you can get one burrito, or one quesadilla, or two tacos. Although there's a good variety of ingredients, some are included in the price and some cost extra. It's not obvious how many ingredients are included in the base price.

"Breeza Bar" is a cozy and inviting spot with great music and lighting, perfect for families, friends, or couples. The staff are attentive and the food is delicious, especially the photo burger. Perfect!! The place is very cozy, the music, lights, is good to family friends or coulpe. All staff are very attentive, I orded the photo burger, very delicious! I recommend! The beer is good too! So.. I loved! congratulations!!

This place was the biggest disappointment in Valencia. We ordered fries and burgers. First we got the fries. We got only 15-20 fries for 4,50€. Is this a joke? Then we had to wait another 45 minutes to get the burgers, so more than 1 hour in total after our order. The burgers tasted bad, really really bad, very muddy, the bacon was burned and the patties were partly raw. Additionally, the burgers were served on a paper, which was wet and sticked to the bottom bun of the burger. The waiters were not helpful at all. In total we spent 38€ there and we would not recommend nobody to go there until they change something.
Andreas G — Google review

Pretty good burger. Very unusual extras like a cup of melted cheddar and donuts.
Erika O — Google review
Brought my friends here so they could try the coxinhas (lagrimas de pollo) and they were perfection. Tasted just the ones I used to have in Brazil. The reason I'm giving them 3 stars is because of their caipirinha. Come on guys, represent the caipirinha a little better. It was a premixed drink with ZERO alcohol in it. We were disappointed.
